- 0:00Speaker 1: Oh, second date update. Modesto, your comments on second date update.
- 0:04Speaker 1: What's up?
- 0:05Speaker 2: What's up?
- 0:07Speaker 3: How are you doing?
- 0:08Speaker 1: Good morning.
- 0:08Speaker 4: Morning.
- 0:11Speaker 1: You're on the air.
- 0:14Speaker 5: That guy, that guy, I feel my opinion. He didn't
- 0:16Speaker 5: want to put the sister on the phone or.
- 0:20Speaker 4: Want to go on a second date because he's being
- 0:22Speaker 4: exposed as a serial killer.
- 0:25Speaker 1: He's so cute.
- 0:26Speaker 3: You think he is. It was a little fishy.
- 0:28Speaker 6: No.
- 0:28Speaker 1: It was a little fishy.
- 0:30Speaker 5: And it is Halloween week, so, you know, he's trying
- 0:32Speaker 5: to score a kill.
- 0:34Speaker 7: Right.
- 0:35Speaker 1: I really do not get the locking the door of
- 0:37Speaker 1: the basement from the outside. You would close it just
- 0:42Speaker 1: to kind of... Well, he didn't want the drunk girl
- 0:43Speaker 1: to go... Oh, no way.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Wait, the drunk girl would go in. It'd be the
- 0:47Speaker 1: other way around. You're keeping the person in. If the
- 0:48Speaker 1: girl doesn't want it out there, she could lock it
- 0:50Speaker 1: from her side. Pietra, good morning. You're on the air.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Second date update. Your thoughts?
- 0:54Speaker 5: Hi. I just think it's kind of weird that it
- 0:57Speaker 5: took him so long to come up with the answer,
- 0:59Speaker 5: you know, that there's another exit. Why did it take
- 1:00Speaker 5: him that long? And why, if there's a lock on
- 1:03Speaker 5: the inside of the door, why would he put a
- 1:04Speaker 5: lock on the outside also? I just think it is
- 1:06Speaker 5: so strange.
- 1:07Speaker 1: And also, it sounds like the police never showed up.
- 1:10Speaker 1: She did a police report and they never showed up.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Well, I hope they do.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that's horrible. Have you noticed that too? It's like
- 1:15Speaker 1: nobody ever stopped by. Yeah, that didn't make sense. Thanks, Petra.
- 1:20Speaker 5: Anyways, I thought that was kind of scary because no...
- 1:23Speaker 5: Serial killers have great personalities sometimes, right?
- 1:25Speaker 3: That's true.
- 1:26Speaker 1: They always do.
- 1:27Speaker 8: Very likable.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Have a great day. Thanks for listening.
- 1:31Speaker 5: Anyways, that was all.
- 1:32Speaker 7: Bye.
- 1:32Speaker 6: Bye.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Thanks. Hello. Good morning, John Jane Rich. Who's this? Hello? Oh, okay. Hello.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Good morning, John Jane Rich. Who's this?
- 1:46Speaker 2: This is Robert.
- 1:50Speaker 1: What's up, Robert?
- 1:53Speaker 7: Hi, I was calling about the second date update.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Yeah, go ahead. You're on the air. He didn't have
- 2:02Speaker 1: a comment. He was just.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Calling about it. He didn't bring up that that's his
- 2:10Speaker 2: sister and the situation she's going through at that point.
- 2:13Speaker 2: If anything, it's a miscommunication on his part more than hers.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's a miscommunication on his part. Yeah, exactly. At best.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I don't know. That's a little weird to me, but
- 2:29Speaker 2: to each their own, I suppose.
- 2:31Speaker 1: It is weird.
- 2:31Speaker 6: And we're going to kind of get into that right now,
- 2:33Speaker 6: kind of about miscommunication. When did you get it totally wrong?
- 2:36Speaker 6: And it happened yesterday on TV.
- 2:38Speaker 9: Yeah, it was on the Today Show. Craig Melvin was
- 2:41Speaker 9: interviewing Parker Posey and was talking about her upcoming movies.
- 2:46Speaker 9: There's a movie called Sleepover that is a horror film,
- 2:51Speaker 9: but apparently he didn't say it. where she heard it
- 2:53Speaker 9: in that way.
- 2:55Speaker 1: We gotta talk. No, horror. I thought you called me a.
- 3:02Speaker 1: I did not call you a. I, H-O-R.
- 3:06Speaker 7: Horror.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I did not enunciate well. Horror, okay. She's my favorite.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Can we not say that word on the radio? I
- 3:15Speaker 1: think you can, as long as you don't mention a
- 3:16Speaker 1: brand name. Oh, okay. It was bleeped. I was like, wow.
- 3:19Speaker 4: They bleeped it.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Anyways, we want to know, when did you get totally wrong? Taylor,
- 3:24Speaker 6: when did you get it totally wrong? What was the story?
- 3:27Speaker 8: Hey, good morning, you guys.
- 3:29Speaker 10: So when I saw it, when y'all saw it or
- 3:33Speaker 10: put this on Facebook, I seriously chuckled inside, and it
- 3:37Speaker 10: sparked this memory, right? I was probably early teens with
- 3:44Speaker 10: my best friend and my, our dads were best friends too.
- 3:47Speaker 10: So we were all at lunch one day and we're
- 3:50Speaker 10: sitting at the booth. My dad looks at me and
- 3:52Speaker 10: he's like, Hey, did you call your mom and tell
- 3:55Speaker 10: her that we're here? And I was like, yeah, I did.
- 3:58Speaker 10: And then right as I turn, my friend looks at
- 4:01Speaker 10: me and she goes, no, I did. I was like, no,
- 4:05Speaker 10: I did. And we kept going back and forth and
- 4:08Speaker 10: I'm talking like, Young teenager is getting really upset. We're
- 4:11Speaker 10: screaming at each other over the table. Both of our
- 4:15Speaker 10: dads are looking at what is going on. We're starting
- 4:17Speaker 10: to cry. And then I just eventually, 20 minutes later,
- 4:21Speaker 10: I'm like, why would I have you call my mom?
- 4:24Speaker 10: And she's like, what are you talking about? I was saying,
- 4:27Speaker 10: I let the dog out. So apparently, when my dad
- 4:31Speaker 10: asked me if I called my mom, her dad asked
- 4:34Speaker 10: her if she let the dog out.
- 4:36Speaker 1: So we were screaming. And you were like throwing forks
- 4:39Speaker 1: at each other? In a restaurant. You got it wrong.
- 4:44Speaker 9: That's definitely getting it wrong.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Thanks, Taylor.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Bye, guys.
- 4:49Speaker 6: Love y'all. There's a text here I think that explains
- 4:52Speaker 6: the whole lock on the door for second date. Makes
- 4:55Speaker 6: perfect sense now. The person says, it sounds like he
- 4:58Speaker 6: had a lock on the inside. Because he could rent
- 5:01Speaker 6: that basement out since there was another exit and doesn't
- 5:04Speaker 6: want to let whoever is renting the basement be able
- 5:06Speaker 6: to come inside his house.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Well, that makes sense. That does make sense. That does
- 5:10Speaker 1: make sense.
- 5:10Speaker 3: He should have said that.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Right.
- 5:12Speaker 4: I think the thing is he took too long to
- 5:15Speaker 4: like tell us what was.
- 5:17Speaker 3: Going on down there. It was like he was processing
- 5:20Speaker 3: how do I cover this up almost.
- 5:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 5:23Speaker 1: And it doesn't mean he's a serial killer.
- 5:24Speaker 2: No.
- 5:24Speaker 1: He could just be keeping a hostage alive.
- 5:26Speaker 3: And it could be totally innocent.
- 5:28Speaker 9: At the same time, it was just the way it
- 5:30Speaker 9: came out seemed a little suspicious.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I am having a mercury and retrograde day today. Is
- 5:37Speaker 1: it official? Is mercury and retrograde today?
- 5:39Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 7: It is?
- 5:40Speaker 1: Did it start today?
- 5:41Speaker 4: It started in the middle, I think on the 24th
- 5:43Speaker 4: over the weekend.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Okay. So my phone stopped working in the middle of
- 5:48Speaker 1: this morning. You and electronics aren't always in synchronicity.
- 5:51Speaker 6: That stopped working. I was driving into work today. I
- 5:53Speaker 6: missed my turn, right? Then my key card didn't work
- 5:56Speaker 6: to get in. Then I was getting coffee just now,
- 5:58Speaker 6: and the coffee, like, it came out of two spots. Like,
- 6:02Speaker 6: it missed my cup.
- 6:04Speaker 1: It missed the cup? Yeah, man.
- 6:06Speaker 6: I had to do it, like, twice. I had to
- 6:08Speaker 6: juggle the cup back and forth to fill it in.
- 6:10Speaker 6: I mean, it's like, it's very strange.
- 6:11Speaker 3: That does seem like, I mean, because you don't, you
- 6:14Speaker 3: do that every day. It's not like you don't know
- 6:16Speaker 3: how to use the coffee machine.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I know. It's weird.
- 6:18Speaker 6: And then I came in this morning to tell Rich,
- 6:19Speaker 6: and then Rich is like, Mercury's in retrograde. I'm like, oh, man,
- 6:22Speaker 6: I never really believed in that stuff until right now.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Until it's affecting you?
- 6:26Speaker 1: I remember somebody, there was somebody on this show. It
- 6:28Speaker 1: might have been Alison DuBois. She says, when Mercury's in retrograde,
- 6:32Speaker 1: if you have little signs like that, don't do things
- 6:34Speaker 1: like buy a car or make any big purchases. Just
- 6:39Speaker 1: wait for it to go. Wait for it to go
- 6:41Speaker 1: because the contracts will get all screwed up, whatever it
- 6:43Speaker 1: is that you have to deal with.
- 6:44Speaker 3: What if you buy a car, it's going to end
- 6:46Speaker 3: up being a lemon?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Yeah, something like that. I wake up.
- 6:49Speaker 6: At like two 45, three o'clock in the morning. Cause
- 6:51Speaker 6: I tried to do a little bit of a stretch
- 6:53Speaker 6: workout before I come in. And this morning my wife
- 6:56Speaker 6: woke up too. And when I went downstairs and I
- 7:00Speaker 6: go get in the hot tub, I do my routine
- 7:01Speaker 6: and I go get sit in the hot tub and stretch.
- 7:03Speaker 1: And she was in the hot tub and she was
- 7:05Speaker 1: like very emotional. And that's how it's, I was like, wow,
- 7:08Speaker 1: you know, like something's not right.
- 7:09Speaker 6: Right.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And so for her, she got a lot on her mind.
- 7:11Speaker 1: One of the things on her mind is get this.
- 7:15Speaker 6: So this is our ninth annual Love Pub Family Fest.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Every year I always tell you guys, I don't want
- 7:19Speaker 6: to do it anymore.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Right.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Every year without fail.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Because it's so stressful for her. So that's what's going
- 7:26Speaker 6: on right now. She's stressed out for Love Pub Family Fest,
- 7:29Speaker 6: hoping that people will come. Of course, obviously. It's a
- 7:32Speaker 6: free show with Gavin DeGraw. It's November 7th at Vertuccio Farms.
- 7:37Speaker 6: But this is what happened yesterday. We normally have a
- 7:41Speaker 6: lot of volunteers. And it's usually a company. You know,
- 7:44Speaker 6: company sponsors, part of the Love Pub Family Fest, and
- 7:46Speaker 6: their employees come and volunteer. We always have, for the
- 7:49Speaker 6: last nine years, 60 to 70 volunteers.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Awesome. She finds out yesterday we only have five.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Oh, that's not going to work.
- 7:56Speaker 6: We only have five volunteers. And she's beside her. This morning,
- 8:00Speaker 6: she had her hands over her face in the hot
- 8:02Speaker 6: tub crying.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Oh, my boy.
- 8:04Speaker 6: I know. And so I was like, hey, I'll go
- 8:07Speaker 6: on the air and see if we can find volunteers,
- 8:08Speaker 6: you know? So I put, yesterday I put a couple
- 8:10Speaker 6: of posts on Facebook.
- 8:13Speaker 1: In fact, I even made, I go, I have grok.
- 8:16Speaker 1: I go, I'll make a flyer.
- 8:17Speaker 6: And I said, hey, I need to make a fun
- 8:19Speaker 6: flyer looking for volunteers. And I showed her a flyer
- 8:21Speaker 6: and she's like, that looks like a baby shower announcement.
- 8:24Speaker 1: And I'm like, whatever, it gets his volunteers. So my
- 8:28Speaker 1: thought is this, you're listening to me right now.
- 8:31Speaker 6: And maybe you run a company or you run a
- 8:33Speaker 6: sorority or you run whatever. What a great camaraderie thing
- 8:38Speaker 6: to have your employees and your staff come and work
- 8:41Speaker 6: the Love Pub Family Fest event.
- 8:43Speaker 1: We need 60 volunteers.
- 8:44Speaker 6: I mean, it's from watching dogs, from security, to letting
- 8:47Speaker 6: people in, to hanging out at Gavin DeGrasse's trailer. There's
- 8:51Speaker 6: lots of jobs that we need. So do me a favor.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Shoot me a DM or go to Love Pub Family Fest.
- 8:57Speaker 6: I think if you go to Facebook, I think it's Tara.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Email Tara at LovePupFamily. What is her? LovePup.org, right? Yeah,
- 9:04Speaker 1: that's it. Is that it? I believe so. LovePupFoundation.org. I
- 9:08Speaker 1: got to look it up. Oh, Nick has it. Oh,
- 9:10Speaker 1: you have it? What is it, Nick? What is it?
- 9:13Speaker 6: Yeah, it's Tara at LovePupFoundation.org.
- 9:20Speaker 1: T-A-R-A. We're right around there. Yeah, email her, please.
- 9:23Speaker 6: Tara at LovePupFoundation.org and get your whole company involved. We
- 9:26Speaker 6: need a lot of volunteers. It's November 7th and it's
- 9:29Speaker 6: a fun thing.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Brian, good morning. You're on the air. What's up? Hey,
- 9:34Speaker 1: good morning.
- 9:34Speaker 2: I was calling about the second date update. I think
- 9:38Speaker 2: I caught half of it, and I was like, is
- 9:40Speaker 2: this guy explaining his job in the least amount of
- 9:42Speaker 2: words and the spookiest as.
- 9:43Speaker 1: A serial killer? Clearly, that sounds like it. There's somebody
- 9:47Speaker 1: crying downstairs. I've got to lock up the door.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:51Speaker 2: And then the second thing, John, you talked about your
- 9:54Speaker 2: cell phone not working or the the planet sliding up
- 9:58Speaker 2: or whatever's going on.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I think that's a Virgo thing. Cause yeah. Yes.
- 10:01Speaker 2: I think that's a Virgo thing. Cause I have the
- 10:03Speaker 2: worst luck with electronics as well.
- 10:06Speaker 1: But today specifically, or just in.
- 10:07Speaker 2: General, just in general, but I mean, today it's like
- 10:11Speaker 2: my phone won't make phone calls or send text messages,
- 10:13Speaker 2: but it's like, that.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Happens to me all the time. Dude, you know what?
- 10:16Speaker 1: You're on the phone now. So it's working.
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yes, it is. But I'm surprised it hasn't dropped the
- 10:22Speaker 2: call or just ended it.
- 10:24Speaker 1: With no reason. Yeah, like mine's now.
- 10:27Speaker 6: My phone, I can text, but I can't get on Instagram.
- 10:30Speaker 1: I can't get on YouTube. I can't get on Pornhub. Oh, well,
- 10:33Speaker 1: that's so sad. So sad.
- 10:37Speaker 4: Well, November 13th.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Maybe it was that Chinese hack.
- 10:39Speaker 4: Mercury's out of retrograde, so you only have a couple.
- 10:42Speaker 2: When?
- 10:42Speaker 1: November 13th. That's a long time away. I know. A
- 10:45Speaker 1: lot could go wrong. It's only a couple more weeks. Brian,
- 10:48Speaker 1: thanks for calling in, though. We'll be posted. Yeah, see
- 10:50Speaker 1: you guys.
- 10:51Speaker 6: Hey, we need a contestant. We're going to play Minute
- 10:54Speaker 6: to Win at 877-937-1047.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Yeah, let's turn this day around. Let's give away $ 1, 000.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Let's say hi to Mackenzie. What's up, Mackenzie?
- 11:01Speaker 8: Hey, I had a couple things I wanted to add. One,
- 11:03Speaker 8: you are completely valid, John Jay. This week is absolutely insane.
- 11:07Speaker 8: As a teacher, it was also full moon yesterday. It's
- 11:10Speaker 8: also Red Ribbon Week. It's also Halloween Week. So it's
- 11:14Speaker 8: absolutely insane. And two... I know you guys have kids.
- 11:19Speaker 8: If you reach out to the school, to teachers, parents,
- 11:22Speaker 8: anyone at the school, people will come running to volunteer
- 11:26Speaker 8: with animals absolutely 100% of the time.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Oh, what a good idea. Like the elementary schools or wherever.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Like that, you mean? Yeah, yeah.
- 11:36Speaker 8: And I'll definitely send an email out to my staff
- 11:38Speaker 8: today and be like, hey, Love Pup, as usual, is
- 11:41Speaker 8: doing their annual thing. They would love some volunteers. Oh, McKenzie,
- 11:45Speaker 8: that'd be so nice.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, teachers love this. That'd be so nice of you.
- 11:47Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Thank you very much, Mackenzie. Yeah, thank you. Have a
- 11:52Speaker 1: great day, Mackenzie.
- 11:53Speaker 8: You're welcome. I listen to you guys every day.
- 11:55Speaker 4: You too.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Okay, bye. That's a good idea.
- 11:58Speaker 6: Yeah, so Love Pub Family Fest, November 7th, Vitrucio Farms
- 12:01Speaker 6: in Mesa. Free show with Gavin DeGraw. Also, Gino Plegger.
- 12:05Speaker 6: He's the runner-up for America's Got Talent. He's the magician.
- 12:08Speaker 6: He's unbelievable. And Gino, I believe, is on his way
- 12:12Speaker 6: to becoming a megastar.
- 12:13Speaker 1: Oh, for sure.
- 12:14Speaker 6: The Rich Bear Band is going to be performing. The
- 12:16Speaker 6: biggest dog rescue adoption event in the Valley. We got
- 12:18Speaker 6: over 20 dog rescues on site. You can bring your
- 12:21Speaker 6: dogs to the event, bring your family, bring your kids,
- 12:23Speaker 6: bring everybody. Admission is free. We ask that you bring
- 12:26Speaker 6: a donation, like a dog rescue donation, like leashes, puppy pads,
- 12:28Speaker 6: dog food.
- 12:29Speaker 1: We're going to have food trucks there. Kids zone. The
- 12:32Speaker 1: kids zone is great. Petting zoo. We always say, it's
- 12:34Speaker 1: just vendors. I don't understand when people say vendors. What
- 12:36Speaker 1: is that? People selling what? We should be more specific. Well,
- 12:40Speaker 1: like food trucks. No, I say food trucks. I said
- 12:42Speaker 1: food trucks, vendors. Well, I don't know. I know we
- 12:45Speaker 1: had Love Pup merch and stuff, but anyway. JoLynn, good morning.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Hi, how are you?
- 12:50Speaker 7: It's JoLynn.
- 12:51Speaker 1: JoLynn. Okay, hi. What are you doing this morning? Where
- 12:54Speaker 1: are you?
- 12:56Speaker 9: I just dropped my daughter off at school.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I'm headed back home. All right, you're going to be
- 12:59Speaker 1: our contestant for a minute to win it. But first,
- 13:00Speaker 1: we need a little fun fact about yourself.
- 13:04Speaker 7: Fun fact about myself.
- 13:10Speaker 10: Crazy bike accident.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh, you cut out for a little bit. Did you
- 13:15Speaker 1: say you were in a crazy bike accident?
- 13:18Speaker 8: Yeah, when I was little, I was in a crazy
- 13:20Speaker 8: bike accident, and I knocked out my front four teeth.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Oh, wow. Okay.
- 13:24Speaker 6: All right, so your phone cut out a little bit.
- 13:27Speaker 6: So you got to be careful when you play this game.
- 13:28Speaker 6: So I don't know if you want to pull over,
- 13:30Speaker 6: find a good signal.
- 13:32Speaker 10: Yep, doing that right now.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Okay, what part of town are you in right now?
- 13:36Speaker 10: I'm in Mesa.
- 13:38Speaker 1: All right. You ready? Yep.
- 13:41Speaker 9: John Jay and Rich have $ 1, 000.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Cash for you from Peoria Ford right now.
- 13:46Speaker 6: Minute to win it.
- 13:47Speaker 1: I'm so excited for you, JoLynn. Let's do this. 60
- 13:50Speaker 1: seconds on the clock. 10 questions. Get them all right.
- 13:53Speaker 1: No skips. You win $ 1, 000 of Paddocky's money. Here we go.
- 13:56Speaker 1: What Arizona town is known for its gorgeous red rocks
- 14:00Speaker 1: and energy vortexes?
- 14:02Speaker 7: John Jay and Rich have Sedona.
- 14:05Speaker 1: What social media app has a ghost as its logo?
- 14:08Speaker 5: Snapchat.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Bourbon must contain at least 51% of what grain?
- 14:19Speaker 5: Wheat?
- 14:20Speaker 7: Ooh.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Right.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Corn. To be called bourbon.
- 14:26Speaker 6: All right, we're going to get these text messages. This
- 14:28Speaker 6: is supposed to be easy for a fifth grader. What
- 14:29Speaker 6: fifth grader knows how to make bourbon?
- 14:31Speaker 1: No, it's not supposed to be easy for a fifth grader.
- 14:36Speaker 1: But they're in a fifth grade level or lower.
- 14:39Speaker 6: Oh, Jolene.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Thank you, guys. You're welcome. We're going to set you
- 14:41Speaker 1: up with a gift card to Del Taco, JoLynn.
- 14:45Speaker 8: All right.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Thank you so much, guys.
- 14:46Speaker 1: You got it. Hold on a line. We'll set you.
- 14:49Speaker 8: Up.
- 14:50Speaker 6: I saw this thing on first dates because, you know,
- 14:53Speaker 6: it's second date update. And you know that guy Jay Shetty?
- 14:57Speaker 2: Yeah, of course.
- 14:58Speaker 1: He's interviewing somebody. Where is it? I had it all
- 15:01Speaker 1: queued up. Here, let me play this off my computer. Oh, here.
- 15:04Speaker 1: He's interviewing somebody.
- 15:06Speaker 6: And he asks this woman, what are questions you should
- 15:09Speaker 6: ask on a first date? And listen to what her
- 15:11Speaker 6: response is, because I feel like you're on a first date.
- 15:13Speaker 6: It just seems very deep.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Let's see.
- 15:15Speaker 6: Let's see if my computer works. Mercury retrograde.
- 15:20Speaker 1: Well, here.
- 15:23Speaker 6: We go.
- 15:23Speaker 1: What are the three questions you should ask on a
- 15:25Speaker 1: first date?
- 15:26Speaker 3: How'd your last relationship end and what did it teach
- 15:28Speaker 3: you about yourself?
- 15:29Speaker 10: How do you handle conflict?
- 15:30Speaker 6: Are you somebody that likes to talk immediately or do
- 15:32Speaker 6: you like to have space? And how do you see
- 15:34Speaker 6: a relationship fitting into your life?
- 15:36Speaker 1: Whoa. I'd be like, uh, can we order appetizers?
- 15:43Speaker 3: Intentional questions.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Trying to settle down.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I think you would start.
- 15:49Speaker 3: It might be intense.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Yeah. Starting with like, what do you watch on Netflix?
- 15:54Speaker 1: That'd be okay. damn man holy smokes what drink do
- 16:00Speaker 1: you think you might get with our tacos like something
- 16:03Speaker 1: like that.
- 16:03Speaker 6: I mean after hearing that and actually also watching I
- 16:07Speaker 6: finished Nobody Wants This season 3 I'm like Sometimes he's
- 16:12Speaker 6: like so grateful to not be in.
- 16:13Speaker 1: The dating world.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:15Speaker 8: Yes.
- 16:16Speaker 6: Especially the stress of like all that, you know, but
- 16:20Speaker 6: this is nobody wants this season three. I got to
- 16:22Speaker 6: tell you, I know we talked briefly about it yesterday
- 16:23Speaker 6: because Peyton said she couldn't get into it. I said
- 16:26Speaker 6: it wasn't as funny as season one, but it is fantastic.
- 16:29Speaker 6: These characters are, I love them so much.
- 16:32Speaker 7: I do too.
- 16:32Speaker 3: It's like I binged it.
- 16:34Speaker 6: I wanted, I was bummed the way it ended. I
- 16:36Speaker 6: wanted another episode.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:38Speaker 3: I was like, and now we're going to have to wait.
- 16:39Speaker 3: How long? Who knows till the next season?
- 16:42Speaker 1: I know. Just like, dang.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Cause it leaves some really big plot line up in
- 16:46Speaker 3: the air.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Yeah. It's coming back though. I said, Oh, for sure.
- 16:49Speaker 1: It's got to come back.
- 16:50Speaker 6: I mean, it's, it's too much of a hit. I
- 16:52Speaker 6: think it's, I mean, it's a hit show and it's,
- 16:54Speaker 6: It's a really good show. I think the girl that
- 16:57Speaker 6: plays Morgan is a superstar.
- 16:58Speaker 1: She's great. She's just amazing. Have you started it yet?
- 17:01Speaker 1: I started it, but I'm not. I'm on the first episode.
- 17:04Speaker 4: It's so easy to blow through, though, because the episodes are, what,
- 17:07Speaker 4: 35 minutes? I'm on episode eight right now, and I
- 17:10Speaker 4: can say I do feel like I am missing that
- 17:12Speaker 4: comedy from season one. Those were laugh-out-loud funny moments.
- 17:18Speaker 1: And that's where we got the ick.
- 17:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:20Speaker 3: And I felt like, I don't know.
- 17:21Speaker 4: I just feel like this season is so predictable, which
- 17:23Speaker 4: is why I'm like, it's cute, but I'm just like,
- 17:26Speaker 4: there's a, there's a scene.
- 17:28Speaker 1: And I think Melissa, hold on for one second. Melissa,
- 17:29Speaker 1: hold on. There's a scene. I think, I think it's
- 17:32Speaker 1: episode four, Brian's wedding. Have you got the Brian's wedding yet?
- 17:35Speaker 1: I've gone to Brian's wedding. You didn't see that coming.
- 17:36Speaker 3: The New York trip just happened.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Oh, the New York trip is awesome. But the Brian's wedding,
- 17:39Speaker 1: you didn't see coming.
- 17:40Speaker 3: No, I didn't.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And I actually liked Brian's wedding. I thought that was
- 17:44Speaker 1: really cute.
- 17:44Speaker 6: There's the thing that, you know, Rich was asking if
- 17:47Speaker 6: my algorithm is like his, which is not. Mine is
- 17:50Speaker 6: all nobody wants this now. And mine is all like
- 17:52Speaker 6: five days. All the actors are like, get to episode four.
- 17:56Speaker 6: Have you got to episode four yet? I'm assuming that's
- 17:58Speaker 6: Brian's wedding because that's such a great surprise, right?
- 18:00Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 18:00Speaker 1: So I didn't see that at all. It's not like
- 18:03Speaker 1: mine where there's strange things crawling around.
- 18:05Speaker 6: On the moon?
- 18:05Speaker 1: No.
- 18:06Speaker 6: My algorithm right now is nobody wants this. It's how
- 18:09Speaker 6: much the cast of The Gentleman is getting paid in
- 18:11Speaker 6: mob land drama.
- 18:13Speaker 1: That's what mine is. So Melissa, Melissa, welcome to the show. Hello, hello.
- 18:17Speaker 6: We've been doing this thing for the last couple of
- 18:19Speaker 6: days of describing your job. In as little words as possible,
- 18:22Speaker 6: but making it sound kind of creepy and mysterious.
- 18:26Speaker 1: Yes, I've been loving it. And what's yours?
- 18:29Speaker 10: I get paid to pull hair by hair.
- 18:35Speaker 7: Oh.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Do you do hair extensions? No. Eyebrow waxing.
- 18:43Speaker 4: Or any kind of waxing.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Ah, eyebrow waxing. Okay.
- 18:48Speaker 7: Nice job.
- 18:49Speaker 1: All right. Thanks, Melissa. Thanks for calling in.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Marcus, you got a spooky job.
- 18:55Speaker 7: Yes.
- 18:56Speaker 1: What do you got?
- 18:58Speaker 7: So, my spooky description is, I clean up the crap
- 19:02Speaker 7: you leave behind once you're gone.
- 19:06Speaker 1: I feel like maybe he cleans hotel rooms. Wait, let
- 19:12Speaker 1: me ask you something. When you say crap, do you
- 19:15Speaker 1: mean real crap?
- 19:19Speaker 6: I do.
- 19:21Speaker 3: Oh, you work in sanitation.
- 19:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:25Speaker 7: Close, pretty much.
- 19:27Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 19:29Speaker 7: I clean portal potties.
- 19:31Speaker 1: Oh, real crap. Yeah.
- 19:32Speaker 5: Why?
- 19:33Speaker 1: You clean portal potties? How'd you get that job? How
- 19:34Speaker 1: does that start?
- 19:38Speaker 7: Um, they're hiring for a company that just opened in
- 19:40Speaker 7: our city, and I applied, and they want me to
- 19:42Speaker 7: train for, like, different types of positions and the lowest
- 19:47Speaker 7: one to start at was cleaning portal potty so it's
- 19:50Speaker 7: actually not bad of a job as you think.
- 19:52Speaker 6: Is that with a power washer and stuff and you
- 19:54Speaker 6: got to wear sanitation stuff and all that like breaking
- 19:57Speaker 6: bad outfits?
- 19:57Speaker 7: Oh well we got some PPE we wear but I
- 19:59Speaker 7: mean you basically throw a hose in there and sucks
- 20:02Speaker 7: it out and throw some cleaners in there and spray
- 20:05Speaker 7: it down and.
- 20:06Speaker 1: Call it a day. You know, I know you said
- 20:08Speaker 1: that's an entry-level position, but I hope it pays the
- 20:10Speaker 1: most because that is real work.
- 20:13Speaker 7: It actually pays pretty well, better than most people would think.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Hey, how long have you been doing it?
- 20:20Speaker 7: Almost a year.
- 20:22Speaker 1: So this may be a weird question, but I'm curious.
- 20:24Speaker 6: In the year of cleaning porta-potties, have you ever found
- 20:27Speaker 6: anything interesting that somebody dropped in there?
- 20:32Speaker 7: You find lots of tools because you're on a lot
- 20:33Speaker 7: of construction sites.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 20:37Speaker 7: Really gross. I found some bloody feces.
- 20:39Speaker 1: No, I don't want to see that. Of course. God,
- 20:41Speaker 1: that's gross.
- 20:43Speaker 7: People like to pee in the trash cans for some reason.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Right. Oh, man. Isn't that like cell phones, a tennis shoe?
- 20:52Speaker 7: I found cell phones. One of my coworkers did find
- 20:55Speaker 7: a dead body.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Oh, my.
- 20:57Speaker 1: A dead body? How do you skip over that one?
- 21:00Speaker 1: Found a dead body in a port-a-body.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:03Speaker 7: In the middle of the winter, the homeless like to
- 21:05Speaker 7: try to keep warming them and I went and knocked
- 21:08Speaker 7: on one, and somebody was in there. He gave him
- 21:10Speaker 7: some time, said, hey, man, I got to get you out,
- 21:12Speaker 7: give you a couple minutes. Went back, no one answered,
- 21:15Speaker 7: and somebody was frozen in there.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Oh, that's so sad.
