- 0:40Speaker 2: be live streaming starting around eight o'clock. We're going to
- 0:42Speaker 2: preview all of that this morning. Take a look at terms,
- 0:45Speaker 2: approval ratings, how it compares to previous years, look back
- 0:47Speaker 2: at the previous speech, all of that good stuff. So
- 0:50Speaker 2: definitely join us momentarily, but also join us tonight for
- 0:53Speaker 2: that live stream. Lots else going on right now, though
- 0:56Speaker 2: we've got extraordinary leaks coming out of the White House
- 0:58Speaker 2: to a wide varie of news outlets warning against war
- 1:03Speaker 2: with Iran. So we'll break that down for you as
- 1:05Speaker 2: we continue to try to read the tea leaves. There
- 1:08Speaker 2: also big news out of the UK. Lord Mandelson has
- 1:12Speaker 2: been arrested due to revelations from the Epstein files. In addition,
- 1:17Speaker 2: we have some new shocking revelations from those files we
- 1:19Speaker 2: will break down as well. Rocana is going to join
- 1:22Speaker 2: us to talk to us about a whole variety of subjects.
- 1:24Speaker 2: We have this secret DNC GAZA memo. We want him
- 1:27Speaker 2: to react to that State of the Union preview. He
- 1:30Speaker 2: is co sponsoring a war Powers resolution on Iran with
- 1:33Speaker 2: Thomas Massey and also gave a very significant speech on AI,
- 1:37Speaker 2: so we want to get into all those topics with
- 1:38Speaker 2: him today. The market crash speaking of AI yesterday based
- 1:42Speaker 2: on AI fears, we will dig into that. We're also
- 1:45Speaker 2: going to have a guest gate join us from Control
- 1:48Speaker 2: AI looking at some of the potentially more existential risks.
- 1:51Speaker 2: And Trump is promising a UFO reveal. What can we
- 1:54Speaker 2: expect from that? Soger will answer it all.
- 1:57Speaker 3: I wish perhaps they will answer it all, although not
- 2:00Speaker 3: holding my breath for that one.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Thank you, likein relief.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Unfortunately, if I've been telling my brothers UFO community, I
- 2:06Speaker 3: go guys. I know you guys are singularly focused on
- 2:09Speaker 3: one thing. Unfortunately, my broader domain expertise has taught me
- 2:12Speaker 3: deep cynicism. Thank you to everybody who's been subscribing Breakingpoints

- 2:42Speaker 3: State of the Union Reaction. It'll drop on our podcast

- 2:47Speaker 3: the morning, So there you go. You can wake up
- 2:48Speaker 3: and you can listen. If you don't want to watch
- 2:50Speaker 3: the entire thing live and you have a reasonable bedtime
- 2:53Speaker 3: like somebody like me. Let's go ahead and start then
- 2:55Speaker 3: with the state of the Union, Bristol.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Where are we? What is the state?
- 3:00Speaker 4: Are not right? In my opinion?
- 3:02Speaker 2: In any case, CNN did some polling and Harry Anton
- 3:05Speaker 2: did one of his quintessential polling breakdowns of where Trump
- 3:08Speaker 2: stands visa the American people.
- 3:10Speaker 4: This is a two. Let's go ahead and roll that.
- 3:12Speaker 5: The lowest that any president has been this century going
- 3:16Speaker 5: in with state of Union at this point, their presidents say.
- 3:18Speaker 5: It is also the weakest that Donald Trump has ever
- 3:21Speaker 5: been with independence.
- 3:23Speaker 6: Look at this drop. We've been talking about it the
- 3:26Speaker 6: past few months. At this point a year ago, Donald
- 3:29Speaker 6: Trump was at minus thirteen points. Look at this minus
- 3:32Speaker 6: forty seven points among independence, the lowest Donald Trump has
- 3:37Speaker 6: ever been in either of his two terms.
- 3:40Speaker 2: So minus forty seven with independence, according to that polling.
- 3:44Speaker 2: We pulled some historical polling data. This is based on
- 3:47Speaker 2: the Real Clear Politics average, which actually looks a little
- 3:50Speaker 2: bit better for him than some of the other polling
- 3:52Speaker 2: coming out. So this is sort of like best case scenario.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Let's go and put a one up on the screen.
- 3:57Speaker 2: We can see the comparison here this year versus last year.
- 4:01Speaker 2: So currently he is minus thirteen in terms of his
- 4:04Speaker 2: approval rating. And look, on the one hand, you'll say, like, oh,
- 4:08Speaker 2: Donald Trump has typically been pretty unpopular, but this is
- 4:11Speaker 2: a big contrast with where he sat last year when
- 4:14Speaker 2: he gave his joint address to Congress, when he actually
- 4:17Speaker 2: was basically fifty to fifty on his approval rating. He
- 4:20Speaker 2: was plus one point two percent there, so he actually
- 4:24Speaker 2: was a little bit above water in terms of his
- 4:26Speaker 2: approval rating. That was really quite a high watermark. Let's
- 4:28Speaker 2: go ahead and take a look at the job approval
- 4:30Speaker 2: ratings from his first term in office. You can see
- 4:33Speaker 2: in twenty seventeen he was similarly situated to where he
- 4:37Speaker 2: is now twenty eighteen. You know, about eleven points underwater,
- 4:41Speaker 2: ten points underwater in twenty nineteen. Again about nine points
- 4:45Speaker 2: underwater in twenty twenty. So you know, it's not his
- 4:49Speaker 2: first trip to the rodeo in terms of being unpopular,
- 4:52Speaker 2: But it does seem like the numbers have dipped pretty close,
- 4:55Speaker 2: if not exceeding the lows that we've seen from his
- 4:58Speaker 2: first term.
- 4:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I think the independent number is the most important one,
- 5:01Speaker 3: and you should remember, you know, the twenty twenty five
- 5:03Speaker 3: State of the Union was I think the apotheosis of Trump.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Like if you were really going to go back the
- 5:08Speaker 3: first term, we were deeply divided as a country. Biden
- 5:11Speaker 3: came into office, he was supposed to fix it. Everything
- 5:14Speaker 3: literally went to shit. Trump gets elected with the first
- 5:17Speaker 3: popular vote victory for Republican since two thousand and four.
- 5:21Speaker 3: This is the highest of highs for Donald Trump whenever
- 5:24Speaker 3: it comes to his approval rating. He won more independence,
- 5:27Speaker 3: reshaped the coalition, The independent dip now in the interim
- 5:31Speaker 3: has really dramatically changed the story. And then the plus
- 5:34Speaker 3: minus not only just resembles as a first term, but
- 5:37Speaker 3: I do think it's fundamentally different actually with the way
- 5:40Speaker 3: that the MAGA coalition currently is now. I'm not going
- 5:42Speaker 3: to say that MAGA itself is not fractured or is
- 5:45Speaker 3: not unfractured. Like there's a diehard Trump people who are
- 5:48Speaker 3: out there who are never going to ditch Trump. That's
- 5:51Speaker 3: exactly like it was in the first term. But there's
- 5:54Speaker 3: several different characteristics and treacherous days that lie ahead. We
- 5:58Speaker 3: are literally on the brink of a war with the
- 6:01Speaker 3: Before playing the show, we're like, well, do we start
- 6:03Speaker 3: with war with Iran or state of the Union. Right,
- 6:05Speaker 3: I mean, this is at the top of everybody's mind.
- 6:07Speaker 3: It could fundamentally change the trajectory of any president. War
- 6:11Speaker 3: in peace is the one deciding factor that can destroy
- 6:14Speaker 3: the economy. Obviously, we have AI, which we're going to
- 6:16Speaker 3: talk about in a little bit, very treacherous in terms
- 6:19Speaker 3: of how that's going to look for the future. A
- 6:21Speaker 3: lot of dissatisfaction, inflation, housing, and then really what I
- 6:25Speaker 3: would add is the revolutionary spirit of MAGA in twenty
- 6:29Speaker 3: twenty five is dead.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I mean it actually is dead.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Like there is no hope from I mean, let's think
- 6:35Speaker 3: and let's break the coalition down. MAGA was various different things.
- 6:40Speaker 3: It was you know, quote unquote anti war. You can
- 6:43Speaker 3: dispute that, but like there was part of that, right, Well, okay,
- 6:46Speaker 3: it's been a year, so we know there was MAHA.
- 6:49Speaker 3: I mean, Maha was they had They're like, we're gonna
- 6:52Speaker 3: pull the vaccine. Maderna's dead, glych Estate's gone.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, how'd that work out?
- 6:58Speaker 7: All?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Right?
- 6:58Speaker 3: Trump literally just gave an exactive orders giving immunity to
- 7:01Speaker 3: the glys Glice, the state manufacturers, and RFK Junior is
- 7:04Speaker 3: defending it. You had Tulsey Gabbard who defenstrated herself in public.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Now she has to turn herself and to stop the steal,
- 7:11Speaker 3: you know, the czar or whatever.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Just to be able to walk into the Oval office.
- 7:15Speaker 3: Ye, you've got people like Cash Ptel and Pete Hegseth
- 7:19Speaker 3: for them again. You know, listen, I was part of
- 7:21Speaker 3: these people. I go, hey, let's try let's blow the
- 7:23Speaker 3: ship up. Let's see how well we now we work.
- 7:25Speaker 3: Now we see how it works out. It works out
- 7:27Speaker 3: with Pete, you know, just gallivanting around the world doing
- 7:30Speaker 3: his bench press, and Cash Battel chugging beers with Team
- 7:34Speaker 3: USA Hockey, doing podcasts with his girlfriend as a forty
- 7:37Speaker 3: four year old man who left. And then the Epstein's right,
- 7:42Speaker 3: we had high host of Epstein stuff, remember, So, like
- 7:45Speaker 3: I really do like the past is a different.
- 7:47Speaker 1: World in a lot of ways from where we are.
- 7:49Speaker 3: I haven't even talked about Ice and all the other
- 7:51Speaker 3: ship that's going on. I do think it's important for
- 7:54Speaker 3: people to remember like where they were floating on up
- 7:58Speaker 3: high and then where we are about a year ago.
- 8:00Speaker 3: And yeah, I mean it's just been a dramatic change
- 8:05Speaker 3: compared to Biden Biden also came in with high hopes.
- 8:08Speaker 3: He could have had a seventy percent approval rating. You know,
- 8:11Speaker 3: they had the Cares Act, and all of a sudden
- 8:13Speaker 3: they were like, Oh, we're gonna change everything in the
- 8:15Speaker 3: new FDR and then boom, what happens you have?
- 8:17Speaker 1: I mean, did they invade?
- 8:19Speaker 3: Yeah, so we're around February twenty four, we had an
- 8:21Speaker 3: invasion of Ukraine, we had the collapse in Afghanistan. Inflation
- 8:26Speaker 3: was a disaster, gas prices, very similar dynamic, and I
- 8:30Speaker 3: think at that time that's right around not only when
- 8:33Speaker 3: Biden's approval went negative, just like with Trump, but that's
- 8:36Speaker 3: when a lot of people were like, Oh, there's no
- 8:37Speaker 3: saving this, There's no saving whatever the hell comes out
- 8:40Speaker 3: from this.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I feel like that way with Trump.
- 8:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's honestly, really pretty hard for me to remember
- 8:45Speaker 2: not only my sense at the beginning of the Biden presidency,
- 8:49Speaker 2: which was probably not the same as the sense of
- 8:51Speaker 2: the American people, but more importantly, like what the general
- 8:54Speaker 2: feeling was. I know for the core like base of
- 8:58Speaker 2: the Democratic Party. I don't know if there was like
- 9:00Speaker 2: Biden was just like Okay, it's fine, you know, and
- 9:02Speaker 2: we're going to try to put some of the pieces
- 9:04Speaker 2: back together. I feel like there was more like real
- 9:07Speaker 2: excitement in the MAGA base and with the MAGA coalition
- 9:11Speaker 2: for this second Trump term. And so I went back
- 9:14Speaker 2: and I was I was looking at the speech from
- 9:16Speaker 2: last year, and it was kind of incredible to me
- 9:20Speaker 2: just how different the moment was. You know, it was
- 9:23Speaker 2: the anti woke stuff. We're you know, getting the boys
- 9:27Speaker 2: on a girl's sports and he's calling Elizabeth Warren Pocahontas
- 9:30Speaker 2: and talking about DEI and saying, you know, oh, we're
- 9:34Speaker 2: only going to have merit based selection in the government. Yeah,
- 9:37Speaker 2: we see how meritorious these various clowns and fools are
- 9:41Speaker 2: in terms of this government. Obviously, you had Doge, you
- 9:44Speaker 2: had promises about we're going to end the Ukraine War,
- 9:47Speaker 2: you know, promises about at that point, I don't remember
- 9:50Speaker 2: where we were with the you know, potential Gaza piecedal.
- 9:53Speaker 4: We thought you were in that's right. It was a
- 9:55Speaker 4: very right at the beginning.
- 9:56Speaker 1: It was a big hole.
- 9:57Speaker 2: So there was there was a sense of like, okay,
- 9:59Speaker 2: you know, not like obviously I've been very negative about
- 10:02Speaker 2: them from the beginning, but that's why you saw the
- 10:04Speaker 2: approval rating basically at fifty to fifty, a place where
- 10:07Speaker 2: he had never been for is people were like, Okay,
- 10:08Speaker 2: maybe this will be genuinely different. Maybe there are going
- 10:11Speaker 2: to be some things here. Maybe he's going to be
- 10:13Speaker 2: a great businessman. Maybe he is going to you know,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I think people sort of bought into the rhetoric about
- 10:17Speaker 2: the government efficiency and.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Doge blah blah blah.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Maybe he is going to cut the fat in government.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Maybe this is going to all work out. And now
- 10:24Speaker 2: a year later, just thinking about all that we've lived through,
- 10:29Speaker 2: in all of the various catastrophic you know, mistakes, and
- 10:32Speaker 2: the ugliness in the country and all of that. Whatever
- 10:35Speaker 2: hope existed among your sort of like independent swing voter
- 10:38Speaker 2: has deadly been crushed. And I think the two biggest
- 10:40Speaker 2: things are really the economy. And I would say Epstein
- 10:44Speaker 2: genuinely because he is his whole brand of being the
- 10:50Speaker 2: outsider that was going to come in and slay the
- 10:52Speaker 2: sacred cows and sort of like right the previous wrongs
- 10:55Speaker 2: and up end the apple car do the difficult things
- 10:58Speaker 2: that previous you know, elites unwilling to do. Because he
- 11:01Speaker 2: was this different kind of guy, like you know, many
- 11:04Speaker 2: of us saw through that brand. But that was the brand,
- 11:07Speaker 2: and once you have the Epstein files cover up, there
- 11:11Speaker 2: is no more like you just can't be a remotely
- 11:14Speaker 2: honest or sane person and continue to hold on to
- 11:17Speaker 2: that view. And that's why I think even though you know,
- 11:20Speaker 2: if you ask people and polls like what's your number
- 11:21Speaker 2: one issue, Epstein is not going to be high at
- 11:23Speaker 2: the list. But I think it truly has been devastating.
- 11:26Speaker 2: It's been most devastating for you know, some of his
- 11:28Speaker 2: core supports, especially his core coalition, coming into this past election.
- 11:33Speaker 2: So let's go and take a look at a four
- 11:35Speaker 2: you know, indications about how this is going to go.
- 11:38Speaker 4: Apparently it's going to be a long speech. You have a.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Programming preview for Stave of the Union tomorrow. It's going
- 11:44Speaker 2: to be a long speech because we have so much
- 11:46Speaker 2: to talk about. We do have a lot to talk about.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Trump loves to give a long speech, so that is
- 11:51Speaker 2: something we will be watching for. And then just to
- 11:54Speaker 2: give you a sense again of the moment we were
- 11:57Speaker 2: in last year at this time, which at least to
- 12:00Speaker 2: me feels like a freaking eternity ago.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Yeah, this was like peak.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Doge elon riding high and his Doge warriors rampaging through
- 12:09Speaker 2: the government, et cetera, et cetera, Trump lauding all of
- 12:12Speaker 2: these supposed which we all learned ended up being like
- 12:15Speaker 2: fake and lies.
- 12:16Speaker 4: Whatever.
- 12:16Speaker 2: We ended up spending more money after Doge, not saving money,
- 12:19Speaker 2: et cetera, et cetera. In any case, Trump went through
- 12:22Speaker 2: this whole list of all the supposed savings that Elon
- 12:25Speaker 2: was finding and garnering, you know, and clawing back to
- 12:28Speaker 2: make better use of our tax dollars, et cetera. Let's
- 12:31Speaker 2: take a listen to a.
- 12:32Speaker 8: Five, and to that end, I have created the brand
- 12:35Speaker 8: new Department of Government Efficiency does perhaps you've heard of it, perhaps,
- 12:51Speaker 8: which is headed by Elon Musk, who is in the gallery.
- 12:55Speaker 7: Tonight, headed up by Elan, and we appreciate it. We
- 13:10Speaker 7: found hundreds of billions of dollars of.
- 13:15Speaker 2: How are you guys liking all those same things? How
- 13:17Speaker 2: are you liking your Doge dividend checks? Did those arrive
- 13:19Speaker 2: in the mail for you?
- 13:20Speaker 3: I mean, just again, so government spending didn't change, just
- 13:23Speaker 3: if anybody it went up. Yeah, yeah, it went up. Yeah,
- 13:25Speaker 3: you can you can even go and look on the
- 13:27Speaker 3: Treasury Department made everything we publish all.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Of this stuff. I don't know.
- 13:30Speaker 3: I don't even know at this point if it was
- 13:32Speaker 3: Doze or if it was just like general trumpiness, but
- 13:35Speaker 3: it is worth reflecting back on that moment. You know,
- 13:38Speaker 3: I always underestimated the bro support for Doge. I never
- 13:42Speaker 3: really got it, maybe because I'm from here and I
- 13:45Speaker 3: was like, yeah, good luck. But for a lot of them,
- 13:48Speaker 3: they were like deeply enthralled by this idea, Like they
- 13:52Speaker 3: actually believed that it would, you know, through the executive
- 13:56Speaker 3: stroke of a pen, that you could fundally, fundamentally like
- 13:58Speaker 3: restructure Washington and that you know, tens hundreds of billions
- 14:01Speaker 3: of dollars actually were being spent on I don't know,
- 14:04Speaker 3: transgender mice.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Yeah that was or whatever.
- 14:06Speaker 3: And you're like, I remember trying to explain to them
- 14:09Speaker 3: before the election. I was like, guys, like, unless we're
- 14:11Speaker 3: going after the Pentagon or Medicare, like, nothing is going
- 14:13Speaker 3: to change. They're like, oh, he's a hater and all
- 14:16Speaker 3: of this well, I don't tried to tell you.
- 14:18Speaker 2: He did a long bit in the speech about like, oh,
- 14:21Speaker 2: all these one hundred and ten year olds on Social Security,
- 14:24Speaker 2: blah blah blah. Again, this all turned out to be
- 14:26Speaker 2: total and complete bullshit. And the only thing they did
- 14:28Speaker 2: was like destroy the quality of service at the Social
- 14:30Speaker 2: Security Administration. So it's so much harder for people who
- 14:34Speaker 2: are legitimate Social Security beneficiaries to actually access their benefits.
- 14:38Speaker 2: That was the kind of thing they actually did. But
- 14:40Speaker 2: you know, I mean, I understand why someone who is
- 14:44Speaker 2: you know, not super versed in the budget and how
- 14:47Speaker 2: this works and where the actual savings would have to
- 14:50Speaker 2: come from, and the type of you know, the type
- 14:52Speaker 2: of elites that you would have to go after, for example,
- 14:55Speaker 2: to deal with like Medicare or Medicaid fraud. You're talking
- 14:57Speaker 2: about these are you know, wealthy people, and many one
- 15:00Speaker 2: of them is you a senator for the Republican Party.
- 15:02Speaker 2: We're talking about people who have significant power. Those are
- 15:05Speaker 2: the types you would have to go after. And so
- 15:07Speaker 2: I can understand why people who weren't deeply ingrained in
- 15:11Speaker 2: that process and understanding those dynamics would think that there
- 15:15Speaker 2: was something cool about this energy of like, Okay, this
- 15:17Speaker 2: guy's this you know, if you're buying elon hype, he's
- 15:20Speaker 2: this great businessman, he's this great tech genius. He's going
- 15:23Speaker 2: to bring in this cadre of like super smart autistic
- 15:27Speaker 2: geniuses to like run rampant through the federal government. And
- 15:30Speaker 2: there is something aspirational about the idea of bringing back
- 15:33Speaker 2: like the top of the top, the cream of the crop,
- 15:36Speaker 2: into the federal government and taking a look at it
- 15:38Speaker 2: making it more efficient. I mean, Zorin's trying to do
- 15:40Speaker 2: a version of his own version of Doge in New
- 15:43Speaker 2: York City of saying, listen, if you're going to you know,
- 15:45Speaker 2: if we're going to ask you to pay taxes, we
- 15:48Speaker 2: want you in significant taxes in New York City. We
- 15:50Speaker 2: want you to feel like that money is being well used.
- 15:53Speaker 2: So I can kind of like empathize with people who
- 15:55Speaker 2: thought that this was a great project. Of course, everyone
- 15:58Speaker 2: wants to cut the fat in government, and there's death
- 16:00Speaker 2: definitely places that there is fraud that there.
- 16:02Speaker 4: Is fat to be cut.
- 16:03Speaker 2: But you know, here we are a year later, and
- 16:06Speaker 2: not only as Doge de Doge completely fail and just
- 16:08Speaker 2: sort of like crumble it made things worse, which I think,
- 16:11Speaker 2: frankly was that and like data siphoning was the point.
- 16:15Speaker 2: And we've also seen like multiple seasons of Elon and
- 16:18Speaker 2: Trump's relationship since then, right they were besties. Here Elon
- 16:22Speaker 2: was camped in d C. Prior to Trump's inauguration, he
- 16:26Speaker 2: was like hanging out of mar A Lago all the time.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Then they have this parting of the ways but still amicable.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Then they have the total falling out, and Elon says
- 16:35Speaker 2: the reason that Epstein files aren't getting releases because Trump's
- 16:37Speaker 2: in them. I'm not backing any Republicans. I'm done spending money.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Eight months ago. Yeah, that's that was how long ago.
- 16:43Speaker 2: And now there's obviously been a reproach. Mont Elon's not
- 16:45Speaker 2: back in the administration, but he's funding Republicans again. He's
- 16:48Speaker 2: you know, shut up about Trump being in the Epstein files,
- 16:51Speaker 2: especially now that he's been revealed to also be significant
- 16:53Speaker 2: in Epstein files. So even just with that one relationship,
- 16:56Speaker 2: you can see how this year has been really been
- 16:59Speaker 2: quite a journey.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Been something else, hasn't it.
- 17:02Speaker 3: I actually think the war stuff is important as well,
- 17:05Speaker 3: because as we're on the brink of the potential war
- 17:08Speaker 3: with Iran, you know, we're going to talk about this
- 17:10Speaker 3: with Rokhana. There were and remember our interviews with some
- 17:14Speaker 3: of those AOC Trump voters in the Bronx. So I'm
- 17:17Speaker 3: not going to sit here and claim it was everybody,
- 17:19Speaker 3: but there was genuine not just promise, but hope that
- 17:23Speaker 3: this person actually meant it. On the war in Ukraine, well,
- 17:26Speaker 3: here Trump is a year ago. By the way, it's
- 17:29Speaker 3: the four year anniversary since Russia invaded Ukraine. It's been
- 17:31Speaker 3: a year now since Donald Trump spoke, and here he
- 17:33Speaker 3: is promising to end the war in Ukraine and nothing
- 17:35Speaker 3: has been ended.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Let's take a listen.
- 17:37Speaker 7: I'm also working tirelessly to end the savage conflict in Ukraine.
- 17:42Speaker 7: Millions of Ukrainians and Russians have been needlessly killed or
- 17:46Speaker 7: wounded in this horrific and brutal conflict with no end
- 17:50Speaker 7: in sight. The United States has sent hundreds of billions
- 17:55Speaker 7: of dollars to support Ukraine's defense, with no security.
- 18:02Speaker 6: With no way.
- 18:04Speaker 1: So yeah, where are we now?
- 18:06Speaker 3: And it's actually really interesting, you know, even to think again,
- 18:09Speaker 3: I never believed we will solve it before I even
- 18:12Speaker 3: get into office. I think I genuinely did underestimate. There
- 18:16Speaker 3: are people who do believe stuff like that. You know,
- 18:18Speaker 3: whenever I think back to the election, I have met
- 18:23Speaker 3: like five people who actually believed that the IVF thing
- 18:25Speaker 3: was going to happen, And I'm like, come.
- 18:27Speaker 1: On, man, you know, like, what are we doing here?
- 18:30Speaker 3: But they bought it. So, I mean apparently even in
- 18:33Speaker 3: the year twenty twenty four, there were a number of
- 18:36Speaker 3: voters who were like, oh, okay, I believe you whenever
- 18:38Speaker 3: you say X, Y and Z.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Now again, you know, I don't think that that was realistic.
- 18:42Speaker 3: But the Ukraine one is the one I actually did
- 18:45Speaker 3: think was more realistic because it wasn't. So I cannot
- 18:49Speaker 3: recall a single hawkish thing Trump said on the campaign trail.
- 18:53Speaker 3: One of those most viral moments. What was it twenty
- 18:56Speaker 3: twenty three November, whenever he did the CNN town hall
- 19:00Speaker 3: with Caitlyn Collins and he's like, I want to stop it,
- 19:02Speaker 3: like everything pick JD's as his vice president. I mean,
- 19:06Speaker 3: it was a believable thing. Now again, I've always been
- 19:09Speaker 3: clear and even was at the time if you thought
- 19:11Speaker 3: that the Israel stuff wasn't going maybe not as much
- 19:13Speaker 3: like his has, but you know, it was obviously always
- 19:15Speaker 3: going to be pro Israel. But on Ukraine, I think
- 19:17Speaker 3: there really was hope. It has been a disaster. I mean,
- 19:20Speaker 3: we have had the failed summit, remember in Anchorage in Alaska,
- 19:25Speaker 3: and then Zelenski of what it was about a year ago, right,
- 19:28Speaker 3: he was in the Oval and they got into a fight,
- 19:30Speaker 3: and then he came back and now they're friends. And
- 19:32Speaker 3: now it's just like business as usual. We had all
- 19:34Speaker 3: the European leaders here. Nothing has changed the entire thing.
- 19:38Speaker 3: It's like Afghanistan. It just keeps going on and on
- 19:40Speaker 3: and on and on, and it'll never end. It's been
- 19:42Speaker 3: four years to the day. It'll just keep going. Putin
- 19:45Speaker 3: in them or like as I said at the time,
- 19:47Speaker 3: they don't care. They're like, look, we're happy to keep
- 19:49Speaker 3: this war going all day long. Fine, no problem, you
- 19:52Speaker 3: know for us, we'll talk about this soon with Iran.
- 19:55Speaker 1: One of the reasons.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Chairman of the Joint chiefs of Staff says, hey, by
- 19:57Speaker 3: the way, it's a bit of a problem if we
- 19:59Speaker 3: do a war with Iran. We gave it all to
- 20:01Speaker 3: Ukraine and Israel. Shocker. Only been saying that over here
- 20:04Speaker 3: for the last four years. So a year is a
- 20:06Speaker 3: long time. It also, you know, it's not that long,
- 20:09Speaker 3: but it does feel like an eternity. I think since
- 20:12Speaker 3: Donald Trump, and I do think this speech will be
- 20:15Speaker 3: much more of a salesman's speech about trying to bring
- 20:19Speaker 3: people back into the fold. We saw Obama give many
- 20:22Speaker 3: of these state of the unions. When I remember at
- 20:24Speaker 3: twenty eleven, right after Obamacare, where his approval rating was
- 20:28Speaker 3: very low and he kept trying to like trying to
- 20:31Speaker 3: sell people a dream to keep it going. Trump is
- 20:34Speaker 3: not running for reelection. It's also a very different moment.
- 20:37Speaker 3: But Trump has not been in this type of position
- 20:38Speaker 3: for a long time. And you know, he also famously
- 20:41Speaker 3: likes to go off prompter, So we'll see how that
- 20:44Speaker 3: works out there. Potentially could be some interruptions from Epstein,
- 20:48Speaker 3: you know, of related stuff in the gallery, So who
- 20:50Speaker 3: knows how that will be. So there's you know, look
- 20:53Speaker 3: all the norms around politics, like when Joe Wilson shouted
- 20:55Speaker 3: at Obama like this stuff is gone right, you know.
- 20:58Speaker 3: So we're living in a different universe, very eighteen nineties
- 21:01Speaker 3: in here.
- 21:01Speaker 2: Even though the Supreme Court justices, like Trump has pissed
- 21:04Speaker 2: at them right now, even some of the ones that
- 21:06Speaker 2: he put on the bench.
- 21:07Speaker 1: So what are you saying?
- 21:08Speaker 3: He was like, He's like they're barely invited. Yeah, yeah,
- 21:11Speaker 3: and only nerds like me are like, sir, actually the
- 21:14Speaker 3: House of Representatives invites the.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Guests, So yeah, not really your DESI it's actually not
- 21:19Speaker 4: your decision.
- 21:19Speaker 3: You're technically invited by the State of the Union, by
- 21:23Speaker 3: Congress because we have coegual branches of government.
- 21:25Speaker 1: But again, only idiots like.
- 21:27Speaker 4: Yeah, coegual branches of government. Lol.
- 21:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 2: One o their on the sort of like broken promises list.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Remember in the campaign and then even after the campaign,
- 21:35Speaker 2: he claimed he wanted to cap credit card interest rates,
- 21:38Speaker 2: and this was one of the populist promises. And there
- 21:41Speaker 2: are a few Democrats, like on the progressive side, Bernie
- 21:44Speaker 2: and Elizabeth Warren in particular, who are like, okay.
- 21:46Speaker 4: But let's do it.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Trump even called Elizabeth Warren at one point because she
- 21:50Speaker 2: was like, listen, I'll work with you on this. She
- 21:52Speaker 2: just came out and said, you know, after that, nothing
- 21:54Speaker 2: totally ghosted. You know, any efforts to put together some
- 21:57Speaker 2: sort of bipartisan proposal all day and gone. So, you know,
- 22:02Speaker 2: some of those like sort of sexy populist promises, and
- 22:05Speaker 2: that would be a significant one. I've just completely fallen
- 22:08Speaker 2: by the wayside as one example of how things have.
- 22:11Speaker 4: Shifted over the year.
- 22:13Speaker 2: But it'll be interesting to see what he tries to
- 22:17Speaker 2: persuade people of tonight. And I know he's going to
- 22:20Speaker 2: brag about all of this supposed investment in the US,
- 22:24Speaker 2: which is just like the number is just completely invented.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I think there'll be a lot of gaslighting about a.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Lot of tariff talk.
- 22:30Speaker 2: If I had to guess, there'll be a lot of
- 22:32Speaker 2: gaslighting about how great you know, America is back and
- 22:34Speaker 2: how great the economy is.
- 22:36Speaker 4: And people are not going to believe.
- 22:38Speaker 2: That because, as we've said many times in the past,
- 22:40Speaker 2: like you have your own personal experience of the economy,
- 22:42Speaker 2: so you know whether it's going well for you and
- 22:45Speaker 2: your family and the prospects.
- 22:46Speaker 4: For your kids or not.
- 22:47Speaker 2: And the last thing I'll mention, and we've got a
- 22:49Speaker 2: lot more talk about this later in the show, is
- 22:52Speaker 2: the AI concerns, which I think it last year at
- 22:55Speaker 2: this point were pretty you know, they were pretty niche.
- 22:59Speaker 2: It was, you know, we started talking, we were talking
- 23:01Speaker 2: about it some, there was some but now this has
- 23:03Speaker 2: become a really mainstream concern. There has been significant local activism.
- 23:09Speaker 2: You know, we talked to one of those local activists yesterday.
- 23:12Speaker 2: There has been a ground swell pushback against the location
- 23:16Speaker 2: of these data centers, and the politics of that keep
- 23:19Speaker 2: turning more and more toxic, even as the Trump administration
- 23:22Speaker 2: has made this truly a central push.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I mean, this really is.
- 23:26Speaker 2: The center of their economic policy and their idea for
- 23:29Speaker 2: the future of the country. So I think that's another
- 23:32Speaker 2: thing that is very different in terms of the sensibility
- 23:35Speaker 2: and awareness of the American people now versus last year
- 23:38Speaker 2: at this time.
- 23:39Speaker 1: Well, it'll be interesting speech.
- 23:40Speaker 3: If you're joining us, you can come torture yourselves by
- 23:43Speaker 3: being awake at eleven PM. Our reactionly no. But if
- 23:47Speaker 3: you're in California you can join us. I guess it'll
- 23:48Speaker 3: be eight o'clock for all of you. Let's go ahead
- 23:51Speaker 3: and get to Iran. Turning now to the situation with Iran.
- 23:57Speaker 3: Huge leaks coming out of the Pentagon yesterday this time,
- 24:01Speaker 3: if you want to believe this, the Pentagon is leaking
- 24:04Speaker 3: about how desperately they don't want to go to war
- 24:06Speaker 3: with Iran. That is how bad the current situation is.
- 24:10Speaker 3: But Donald Trump is trying to head off all of
- 24:12Speaker 3: these leaks. Let's go and put this up here on
- 24:14Speaker 3: the screen. Here is Trump's truth yesterday. Numerous stories from
- 24:17Speaker 3: the fake news media have been circulating that General Daniel Kane,
- 24:21Speaker 3: sometimes referred to as Raisin Kin, is against us going
- 24:24Speaker 3: to war with Iran. The story does not attribute his
- 24:27Speaker 3: vast wealth of knowledge to anyone and is one hundred
- 24:29Speaker 3: percent incorrect.
- 24:31Speaker 1: General Kin, like all of.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Us, would like not to see war, but if a
- 24:35Speaker 3: decision is made on going against Iran at a military level,
- 24:38Speaker 3: it is opinion that everything will be easily won. Bookmark
- 24:41Speaker 3: that for history he knows Iran well, and that he
- 24:44Speaker 3: was in charge of Midnight Hammer, the attacks on Iranian
- 24:46Speaker 3: nuclear development. It is a development no longer but rather
- 24:49Speaker 3: was smown blown to smithereens by our great be too bombers.
- 24:52Speaker 3: So if that's the case, then why do we even
- 24:54Speaker 3: have to go to war?
- 24:55Speaker 1: All right?
- 24:55Speaker 3: This is why everybody should actually read these things carefully.
- 24:58Speaker 3: Raisin Kain is a great fighter. He represents most powerful
- 25:00Speaker 3: military in the world. He has not spoken to not
- 25:02Speaker 3: doing Iran or even the fake limited strikes that I
- 25:04Speaker 3: have been reading about. He only knows one thing, how
- 25:06Speaker 3: to win, and if he is told to do so,
- 25:08Speaker 3: he will be leading the pack.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Quote. I would rather have a deal than not.
- 25:12Speaker 3: But if we don't make a deal, it is a
- 25:14Speaker 3: very bad day for that country, and very sadly it's people,
- 25:16Speaker 3: because they are great and wonderful and something like this
- 25:19Speaker 3: should never have happened to them. So this followed an
- 25:23Speaker 3: extraordinary amount of leaks that came out of the Pentagon.
- 25:27Speaker 3: Let's go and put these up here on the screen.
- 25:28Speaker 3: I want to kind of Washington explain you hear one story.
- 25:32Speaker 3: That's one thing when you have Axios, the Washington Post,
- 25:35Speaker 3: and the Wall Street Journal. Alright, this headline, Trump's top
- 25:38Speaker 3: general warns of Iran strike. Trump's top general foresees acute
- 25:41Speaker 3: risk and attack on Iran. Pentagon flags risk of a
- 25:44Speaker 3: major operation against Iran.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Here is what is happening.
- 25:47Speaker 3: These are authorized leaks from the very very top of
- 25:49Speaker 3: the Pentagon. What they want is to get on the
- 25:52Speaker 3: record as close as they can without going outside the
- 25:55Speaker 3: chain of command, to say this is a really, really
- 25:58Speaker 3: bad idea. And if you actually read all of their warnings,
- 26:02Speaker 3: it's if you've been watching this show, or if you've
- 26:05Speaker 3: been paying attention to the news, none of this will
- 26:07Speaker 3: be a shocker to you. They say, we have a
- 26:09Speaker 3: limited amount of air interceptors. We use twenty five percent
- 26:12Speaker 3: in the Twelve Day war. The hoo thies, we're a
- 26:15Speaker 3: huge problem because of our four year support now of Israel.
- 26:18Speaker 3: And of Ukraine. We are dramatically low on munitions. They
- 26:22Speaker 3: point to a CSIS war game from twenty twenty three
- 26:25Speaker 3: which said that the United States would last one week
- 26:27Speaker 3: in terms of munitions if we were ever to get
- 26:29Speaker 3: into a war with China against Taiwan. Yeah, you think
- 26:31Speaker 3: I'm joking. This is twenty twenty three. The situation's gotten worse.
- 26:34Speaker 3: We've actually given more to Israel in Ukraine since that
- 26:37Speaker 3: time period, and the amount of spun spin up in
- 26:40Speaker 3: our defense industrial base has actually gone down, So you
- 26:43Speaker 3: can see that for them. They know, Look, we can
- 26:46Speaker 3: kidnap Maduro all day long, we can midnight hammer six
- 26:51Speaker 3: B two's the place with no real aerial defense or
- 26:54Speaker 3: any of that whatever, but a real war like ballistic
- 26:58Speaker 3: missiles flying around, which we saw in the Twelve Day
- 27:01Speaker 3: War that alone drained twenty five percent of our THAD interceptors.
- 27:05Speaker 3: The Pentagon is doing everything they can to try and
- 27:08Speaker 3: have their eeriction Seki moment, and look, you know, bear
- 27:11Speaker 3: with me. It's a little bit of a trip down
- 27:13Speaker 3: memory lane. But back in two thousand and three, February
- 27:16Speaker 3: two thousand and three, the Army Chief of Staff Eeric
- 27:18Speaker 3: Szechi was forced to testify before Congress before the invasion
- 27:22Speaker 3: of Iraq, and the Army Chief of Staff stunned America
- 27:25Speaker 3: and the world when he said it would take several
- 27:28Speaker 3: hundred thousand troops to invade Iraq successfully. The neocons like
- 27:32Speaker 3: Mark Levin and you know Bill Crystal and the Bush
- 27:36Speaker 3: administration said he's a raving lunatic. It's an absolute lie,
- 27:39Speaker 3: and they fired him. They forced him out of office.
- 27:42Speaker 3: He was the Army Chief of Staff, but he was
- 27:43Speaker 3: trying to warn all of us. And there were multiple
- 27:46Speaker 3: other top generals internally, some even who resigned, people who
- 27:50Speaker 3: told the President to his face, this is a bad idea.
- 27:52Speaker 3: They leaked as much as they could, but our media
- 27:55Speaker 3: was very propagandistic, just as it is right now. They
- 27:58Speaker 3: were trying their best to do something like this. The professionals,
- 28:01Speaker 3: and remember these are not bleeding heart liberals, they're not
- 28:04Speaker 3: anti war like me. Dan Caine was one of the
- 28:06Speaker 3: foremost proponents of the Maduro raid. He knows the capabilities
- 28:10Speaker 3: of the US military. When you have these guys going
- 28:12Speaker 3: like please get us off, like do not make us
- 28:15Speaker 3: do this, it is a blaring like a flashing red light. Yeah,
- 28:19Speaker 3: for the whole because nobody knows our capabilities more than them.
- 28:23Speaker 3: So when they're warning like this, they're doing their best.
- 28:26Speaker 3: First of all, they want to survive. They want to
- 28:28Speaker 3: be able to have the headline there in the future,
- 28:30Speaker 3: so that when a Democrat comes into the power, they're like, listen, man,
- 28:32Speaker 3: we tried to tell him.
- 28:33Speaker 1: He ordered us to do it.
- 28:35Speaker 3: But more importantly, they're trying to signal for those of
- 28:38Speaker 3: you who are close watchers and observers to say, this
- 28:41Speaker 3: is not going to go like the propaganda is. And
- 28:44Speaker 3: it's already happening. Mark Levin, it's been twenty something years,
- 28:48Speaker 3: he's doing the same thing. These are Democrat deep state
- 28:52Speaker 3: isolationists trying to destroy. You have Trump now trying to
- 28:55Speaker 3: box the general in. He's going to try and force
- 28:57Speaker 3: him to go on the podium and say, actually, it's
- 28:59Speaker 3: going to be a cake. I hope he says the
- 29:01Speaker 3: word kakewalk I really do, just so we can have
- 29:03Speaker 3: all the Iraq stuff happen.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Again.
- 29:05Speaker 3: I'm not claiming it's going to be the same as Iraq,
- 29:07Speaker 3: but it's the same type of playbook. These are very
- 29:10Speaker 3: sophisticated actors. This is the biggest warning. And when again,
- 29:13Speaker 3: when the professional warriors tell you this is a big,
- 29:16Speaker 3: big problem. You should listen because what they're talking about
- 29:20Speaker 3: this isn't ideology. This is about logistics, This is about munitions,
- 29:24Speaker 3: This is about defense industrial base. Nobody knows this better
- 29:28Speaker 3: than them. This is the most worrying thing that I've
- 29:30Speaker 3: seen yet. Yeah, because this means it's happening, in my.
- 29:32Speaker 2: Opinion, Yeah, this is like a desperate cry for help,
- 29:35Speaker 2: a last ditch hail Mary pass to try to persuade
- 29:40Speaker 2: Trump and whoever that this is going to be a
- 29:42Speaker 2: terrible idea. This is a warning to the American public.
- 29:45Speaker 2: It's all of those things. And you know, I think
- 29:48Speaker 2: what the why the neocons are pushing so hard right
- 29:51Speaker 2: now is a few reasons. I mean, the Iranian government
- 29:55Speaker 2: is genuinely weakened at this point from the Twelve Day War,
- 29:59Speaker 2: also from the the protests and the you know, the
- 30:01Speaker 2: opposition movement, from the the economic warfare that we've waged
- 30:05Speaker 2: against against them has been quite successful. So they are
- 30:08Speaker 2: weakened in this moment. But are they weak enough where
- 30:12Speaker 2: you know, an airstrike will take out take down the government,
- 30:17Speaker 2: because that's their fantasy is let's put aside all oh,
- 30:20Speaker 2: nuclear ballistic blah blah blah. What they really are after
- 30:24Speaker 2: is regime change. And at the same time, the Israelis,
- 30:28Speaker 2: who are obviously, you know, constantly pushing for war with Iran,
- 30:31Speaker 2: and Netah has been pushing for war with Iran like
- 30:34Speaker 2: before you were literally born. Literally you can go back
- 30:37Speaker 2: and watch the Qui from the eighties and but anyway,
- 30:41Speaker 2: you know, they have their own sort of looming crises internally.
- 30:46Speaker 2: You know, even though there was a lot of unity
- 30:48Speaker 2: around the Gaza genocide, the reality is they have major
- 30:51Speaker 2: demographic and major economic issues, and they've had a lot
- 30:55Speaker 2: of brain drain from their country. You know, the fastest
- 30:58Speaker 2: growing part of the Jewish population in Israel are you know,
- 31:02Speaker 2: the type that don't want to serve in the military
- 31:04Speaker 2: and don't want to work and just rely on the
- 31:06Speaker 2: social safety net. So they have their own timeline here
- 31:09Speaker 2: of like we've got to act now or else we're
- 31:12Speaker 2: not going to be able to cement our you know,
- 31:14Speaker 2: grander ambitions of the Greater Israel project and having total
- 31:17Speaker 2: regional hegemony, which is their ultimate goal. So they're pushing
- 31:22Speaker 2: very hard right now as well. And that's why you
- 31:24Speaker 2: see the Mark Levins of the world, the Lindsay Gram's
- 31:26Speaker 2: the world, et cetera, sort of freaking out aggressively pushing
- 31:29Speaker 2: in this direction. But I think the reason there's been
- 31:33Speaker 2: hesitation at this point is because there's no I mean,
- 31:37Speaker 2: the whole thing is insane and it's going to be bad.
- 31:39Speaker 2: But even from their perspective, like there's no Delsi Rodriguez
- 31:44Speaker 2: type option that's available in run the thing we covered previously,
- 31:48Speaker 2: This idea of oh, we'll do a limited strike and
- 31:50Speaker 2: then that's going to force them to buckle to our demands.
- 31:52Speaker 2: What even our fucking demands, right, I mean, they're constantly changing.
- 31:56Speaker 2: The American people has not been bought into any sort of,
- 31:59Speaker 2: you know, ration for why we need this war with
- 32:01Speaker 2: Iran right now? So you know, and the reality is
- 32:05Speaker 2: a limited strike is likely to have the exact opposite impact.
- 32:09Speaker 2: It's going to harden the Iranian government against any sort
- 32:13Speaker 2: of deal. What you're going to bomb somebody, and you
- 32:15Speaker 2: think that's going to make them come to you, that's
- 32:16Speaker 2: going to you know, open them up to further talks,
- 32:19Speaker 2: I don't think so. So yeah, I don't know. It's
- 32:22Speaker 2: looking pretty it's looking pretty grim. It seems very unlikely
- 32:26Speaker 2: that you amass this level of military power in the
- 32:29Speaker 2: region to just to have fun, to spend money as
- 32:33Speaker 2: a threat, and any of it.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Venezuela is the playbook. Oh we're negotiating.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Maybe maybe not Listen, all right, you don't just bring
- 32:41Speaker 3: carrier strike groups and all of this naval armada for
- 32:43Speaker 3: the biggest build up of force in the Caribbean since
- 32:46Speaker 3: the Cuban missile crisis, just not to use it.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Same with Iran.
- 32:49Speaker 3: You've got two carrier strike groups, You've got all the bases,
- 32:52Speaker 3: you had the evacuation just yesterday of non essential personnel
- 32:55Speaker 3: from Lebanon. You've got all this diplomacy, diplomacy, theater that's
- 32:59Speaker 3: going on.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I mean, basically what they're trying to do. It's very
- 33:02Speaker 1: Iraq like.
- 33:03Speaker 3: We give Saddam ninety days to resign, to let in
- 33:06Speaker 3: the inspectors, or hell will reign. It's not gonna happen,
- 33:10Speaker 3: right Like you know eventually how the story is going
- 33:13Speaker 3: to end. This diplomacy is fake. This entire thing was
- 33:16Speaker 3: allegedly about the nuclear deal. The Iranians are said, fine,
- 33:19Speaker 3: we'll do a nuclear deal. They're like, well, it also
- 33:21Speaker 3: has to deal with ballistic missiles in your regional terror threat,
- 33:25Speaker 3: and they're like, no, we're not giving up our ballistic
- 33:27Speaker 3: missiles so that Israel can attack US at will at
- 33:30Speaker 3: any time that they want and regime change US at
- 33:33Speaker 3: will sometime in the future. It's why would they do.
- 33:35Speaker 3: That's effectively surrendered. We might as well fight and actually
- 33:38Speaker 3: try to convince the Americans that we have some sort
- 33:41Speaker 3: of credible deterrent. I mean, this is where to highlight
- 33:45Speaker 3: the Israeli problem here. It is immense because if it
- 33:48Speaker 3: was just up to the United States, I do believe
- 33:51Speaker 3: that we could probably reach some sort of nuclear deal.
- 33:54Speaker 3: But the Israel angle here is that you have this
- 33:56Speaker 3: rogue state which has now built up ye where they
- 34:00Speaker 3: have been bombing every seven different countries with total impunity,
- 34:05Speaker 3: with diplomatic cover by the United States, with a population
- 34:08Speaker 3: with its blood you know, boiling ready and believing that
- 34:12Speaker 3: they can do anything, not only not to mention Gaza.
- 34:15Speaker 3: And they're like, look, we're gonna do it no matter what.
- 34:18Speaker 3: And so if they go in and attack Iran kind
- 34:21Speaker 3: of like in the Twelve Day War, what happens, We're
- 34:23Speaker 3: gonna get sucked in. And this is an argument, by
- 34:26Speaker 3: the way, from the neocons because they're like, oh, well,
- 34:28Speaker 3: that's why we should just go ahead and do it
- 34:31Speaker 3: and defend Israel in the process. But the point around
- 34:34Speaker 3: it is, if we actually dealt with the Israel problem,
- 34:36Speaker 3: we wondn't even have as much of an Iranian problem.
- 34:38Speaker 3: But we can't get away from it. And it's I
- 34:40Speaker 3: was telling you this morning, it's like World War One.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Does anybody just sit for a second and just be like,
- 34:45Speaker 3: do we have to defend Belgium?
- 34:47Speaker 1: Do we have to you know, decimate our.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Youth and kill millions of people just because of a
- 34:52Speaker 3: piece of paper, because we've always done things that way.
- 34:55Speaker 1: But that's this is how it happens.
- 34:57Speaker 3: You really, you know, you read about it, but this
- 34:59Speaker 3: is no nobody sits for a second and says, maybe
- 35:02Speaker 3: we just tell the Israelis you're done. If you do this,
- 35:04Speaker 3: they will actually cut you off. Nobody in the White
- 35:07Speaker 3: House can even think this way. Nobody in the previous
- 35:09Speaker 3: White House could think this way either. Nobody in Congress
- 35:12Speaker 3: is even doing anything I talked about the Aaron Erik
- 35:14Speaker 3: Shinzeki at least testified before Congress. Raisin Kin is leaking
- 35:19Speaker 3: the shit to the Wall Street Journal and to axios.
- 35:21Speaker 3: We have no opposition, We have nothing like, if anything,
- 35:24Speaker 3: this is ten times worse. We're sleepwalking, just like the
- 35:27Speaker 3: book the Sleepwalkers, right into this disaster. And you know,
- 35:31Speaker 3: even though it's all out in the open, ninety nine
- 35:33Speaker 3: percent of Americans have no idea that this is going on.
- 35:35Speaker 3: They're living their lives. You know, they're vaguely iran something.
- 35:39Speaker 3: You know, it didn't bomb them before, but they have
- 35:42Speaker 3: no idea. They're going to wake up though, you know,
- 35:43Speaker 3: when something like this happens, Yeah, it could all go
- 35:45Speaker 3: south like this.
- 35:47Speaker 2: And you have to layer on that the mentality of
- 35:49Speaker 2: they just did this Venezuela thing that they see as
- 35:51Speaker 2: this grand success. They see the Twelve Day War last
- 35:54Speaker 2: year as this grand success. There's nothing Trump loves more
- 35:57Speaker 2: than you know, his glorious soldiers going into battle and
- 36:01Speaker 2: him being able to like feel like a real man
- 36:03Speaker 2: based on what other people actions that other people.
- 36:05Speaker 4: Took, and you know he's itching for that.
- 36:08Speaker 2: I think that's you know, an important part of this
- 36:10Speaker 2: mentality is they feel like, oh, the naysayers like us previously,
- 36:14Speaker 2: who were warning about all these dire consequences, they're just
- 36:17Speaker 2: a bunch of Panicans. You know they were wrong. Everything
- 36:20Speaker 2: turn out fine, This was all great, and you know,
- 36:24Speaker 2: this will be another glorious success for us to be
- 36:26Speaker 2: able to talk about and you know, take the focus
- 36:29Speaker 2: off of Epstein and the poor economic numbers and everything
- 36:31Speaker 2: else that's going on the you know, the ice killings,
- 36:33Speaker 2: all of that stuff, and be able to have this
- 36:36Speaker 2: win and you know, assert our dominance heading into the
- 36:39Speaker 2: midterm elections. Kyle always brings up, and I think it's
- 36:42Speaker 2: worth pointing out. Trump during the Obama era used to
- 36:45Speaker 2: talk constantly about how Obama was going to start a
- 36:47Speaker 2: war with a run to save his political prospects, and
- 36:51Speaker 2: I think it's I think that's worth like pausing on
- 36:53Speaker 2: because it does give you a window into how he
- 36:56Speaker 2: thinks about these things. He thinks it will be a benefit.
- 36:59Speaker 2: He thinks there will be that rally around the flag
- 37:01Speaker 2: effect and it will help to bolster him and bolster
- 37:04Speaker 2: his party. I think that's insane, but based on his
- 37:07Speaker 2: past comments, I genuinely think he views it that way,
- 37:11Speaker 2: especially when you pile on top of that the Venezuela
- 37:13Speaker 2: thing and the previous eroun war.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Bad science coming out of the White House.
- 37:17Speaker 3: Trump is truthing out Mark Levin videos while while we
- 37:19Speaker 3: got attackerro on, take a listen.
- 37:21Speaker 9: The problem is it negotiations. The problem isn't they won't
- 37:24Speaker 9: agree to this or that, or we can get the
- 37:26Speaker 9: best deal in world history.
- 37:28Speaker 1: The problem is them.
- 37:32Speaker 9: The West needs to understand what we're dealing with for
- 37:36Speaker 9: forty seven years. I don't know what it's gonna take,
- 37:40Speaker 9: but we need to comprehend what we're dealing with. That
- 37:44Speaker 9: regime needs to be eliminated.
- 37:46Speaker 3: Oh my god, Yeah, that's what we're dealing with. Meanwhile,
- 37:49Speaker 3: P four, let's put this up here on the screen.
- 37:51Speaker 3: Tucker Carlson was spotted at the White House yesterday after
- 37:55Speaker 3: his explosive interview with the Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee. Way,
- 38:00Speaker 3: very funny from that one, Mike huckabees interview. Full blown
- 38:04Speaker 3: diplomatic crisis and even a problem for the Iran situation because,
- 38:09Speaker 3: as you pointed out yesterday, if you want to attack
- 38:11Speaker 3: you Ron, you got to use all these bases and
- 38:13Speaker 3: you've got to make sure that all the Gulf Arab
- 38:14Speaker 3: allies are on your side. Well, guess what the US
- 38:17Speaker 3: ambassador at Israel just said, Actually, all of that land
- 38:20Speaker 3: and all of your countries that belongs to Israel if
- 38:23Speaker 3: they want it. And they have been calling the White
- 38:25Speaker 3: House and they're like, is this a statement of official
- 38:27Speaker 3: government policy?
- 38:28Speaker 1: Are you going to repudiate this?
- 38:30Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:30Speaker 3: What's happening here? Oh and you think you're going to
- 38:32Speaker 3: use my basis?
- 38:33Speaker 1: No?
- 38:33Speaker 3: No, no, no, that's not going to be happening here.
- 38:36Speaker 3: So that's, you know, been some of the fallout. But look,
- 38:38Speaker 3: I mean, we have to be honest here. The Tucker
- 38:40Speaker 3: faction thought and all of that, it's not ascendant right now,
- 38:44Speaker 3: at least from what I can tell from the outside.
- 38:46Speaker 3: Put the next one up here, Laura Lumer immediately attacking
- 38:50Speaker 3: Tucker Carlson. Everybody needs to be pressuring the White House
- 38:52Speaker 3: to condemn Tucker his efforts to derail the GOP and
- 38:55Speaker 3: sabotage mus End. He thinks he can just walk into
- 38:58Speaker 3: the White House and he owns the place because his
- 38:59Speaker 3: son works there.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Everyone with moral clarity needs.
- 39:02Speaker 3: To pressure the White House to end this insanity once
- 39:05Speaker 3: and for all. President Trump must condemn Tucker Flson, not
- 39:10Speaker 3: my Kuckabee, by the way, not the guy who literally,
- 39:13Speaker 3: you know, started a full blown diplomatic crisis because of
- 39:15Speaker 3: his insane Christian feel because of his insane like dispensationalists,
- 39:20Speaker 3: you know, psychotic beliefs. It's the guy who revealed those
- 39:23Speaker 3: beliefs that is a problem. I want to continue on
- 39:26Speaker 3: the munition side. I'll just point in to some experts.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Here's Tyler Rogaway. He runs a great outlet by the way,
- 39:31Speaker 3: twz dot com. They do amazing like in depth, real
- 39:34Speaker 3: logistical nerd stuff.
- 39:35Speaker 1: And here's what he says.
- 39:36Speaker 3: If this Iran thing really pops off, our stocks of
- 39:40Speaker 3: critical interceptors, which take years and huge sums of money
- 39:43Speaker 3: to build, will be really depleted. The stockpile is already
- 39:46Speaker 3: an emergency. If Iran goes full send SM three, that
- 39:50Speaker 3: interceptors pack threes will ran through once again.
- 39:53Speaker 1: It takes years to restock. He says.
- 39:55Speaker 3: It is a dangerous game with the state of China's
- 39:58Speaker 3: military activity, and then there's Russia that is beyond North Korea.
- 40:02Speaker 3: We have never built a lot enough lots of smoke
- 40:04Speaker 3: and mirrors, and now it is critical. This will send
- 40:07Speaker 3: it into another realm of crisis.
- 40:09Speaker 1: Just watch.
- 40:10Speaker 3: You know. One of the dangers with open source is
- 40:12Speaker 3: that you actually start to learn, you know, how scared
- 40:16Speaker 3: like you start to learn if you read enough, you're like, wait,
- 40:19Speaker 3: oh my god, we're really not prepared for this. You
- 40:21Speaker 3: have the CSIS war game from a couple of years ago,
- 40:24Speaker 3: you have multiple generals on the record, you have the
- 40:27Speaker 3: fat stockpiled numbers, and you're.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Like, what a disaster.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Twenty five percent just spent on a twelve day war
- 40:34Speaker 3: which didn't even you know, involve US, and then not
- 40:37Speaker 3: to mention all the short range stuff which the Iranians
- 40:40Speaker 3: could use.
- 40:41Speaker 1: Look, the US military is good, but is it that good?
- 40:43Speaker 1: You know, it's one of those where would you really
- 40:45Speaker 1: risk it?
- 40:46Speaker 3: And originally I thought, okay, well we're pretty good at
- 40:49Speaker 3: taking these things out and the CIA and you know
- 40:51Speaker 3: from all of that. But once the top general starts
- 40:54Speaker 3: to speak out, I'm like, oh, this is bad.
- 40:55Speaker 1: Clearly they see some.
- 40:56Speaker 3: You know, I don't have all the information they do,
- 40:59Speaker 3: and for them to come out and to leak this,
- 41:01Speaker 3: I really I urge everyone to take this Sparrige very seriously.
- 41:04Speaker 3: Like these people, like I said, the guy who literally
- 41:06Speaker 3: supported the kidnapp operation against Maduro, he says it's a
- 41:09Speaker 3: bad idea.
- 41:10Speaker 1: You should listen.
- 41:11Speaker 3: These are not liberals or you know some they're not
- 41:14Speaker 3: like bleeding heart liberal code pink activists or intervention an
- 41:19Speaker 3: Yeah exactly.
- 41:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, And listen, I think the Iranian government is weak.
- 41:24Speaker 2: I don't know what the capabilities they have, but we
- 41:26Speaker 2: also shouldn't underestimate their will to fight, because for us,
- 41:30Speaker 2: this isn't existential.
- 41:31Speaker 4: This is like a.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Stupid luxury war of choice for the president's ego that
- 41:36Speaker 2: almost no one wants. Okay, it's eighty percent of the
- 41:39Speaker 2: US population.
- 41:40Speaker 4: It's like, no, we don't.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Want this at all, in spite of you know whatever
- 41:45Speaker 2: war propaganda's constantly fed to us about, you know, how
- 41:47Speaker 2: terrible Iran is, what a threat it is. Like Mark
- 41:50Speaker 2: Levin said to our children and a grandchildren, blah blah blah,
- 41:52Speaker 2: like we don't have the will to fight this thing.
- 41:55Speaker 2: And Iran, you know, it's in a very strategic position.
- 41:58Speaker 2: They know the cards that they have, and they also
- 42:00Speaker 2: we'll be looking and understanding this information about the drawdown
- 42:03Speaker 2: of our stockpiles and understanding where some of our vulnerabilities
- 42:06Speaker 2: are and where some of Israel's vulnerabilities are as well.
- 42:10Speaker 2: So and you know, things are not going to too great.
- 42:13Speaker 2: I guess in terms of mechanics in the build up
- 42:18Speaker 2: to this potential work of B seven up on the screen.
- 42:21Speaker 2: We are already taxing our sailors incredibly. You have people
- 42:28Speaker 2: who are potentially going to be deployed for eleven months,
- 42:32Speaker 2: it would be the longest deployment for you know, sailors
- 42:36Speaker 2: on this US S gerald Ford for in years. And
- 42:41Speaker 2: you also have issues on the ship apparently that some
- 42:44Speaker 2: of the toilets are clogged and there's like raw sewage.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Apparently they've gotten some of this under control, but it's
- 42:50Speaker 2: been a mess, and a bunch of people who are
- 42:52Speaker 2: quoted in this piece in the Wall Street Journal are like,
- 42:55Speaker 2: after this, I'm done. Like I have kids, and this
- 42:59Speaker 2: is I don't don't want to be away from them
- 43:01Speaker 2: for years at a time. This is not my understanding
- 43:04Speaker 2: of what we were going to be up to. So
- 43:07Speaker 2: even putting aside, you know, the stock piles, like, there's
- 43:10Speaker 2: been a human cost already for all the various adventurism
- 43:15Speaker 2: from the Trump admistry.
- 43:16Speaker 3: Yeah, look, I mean, you know, oh it's so funny.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Ha ha ha, Oh you signed up for this. It's
- 43:20Speaker 3: not funny you put these guys on it. But car
- 43:22Speaker 3: you know, look, it's not fun you've ever been on
- 43:24Speaker 3: a carrier, like I've only been.
- 43:25Speaker 1: On the decommissioned ones.
- 43:26Speaker 3: It's small, and you got to sleep in these barracks
- 43:29Speaker 3: and if the toilet breaks, that's life or death.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Man, that sounds like a disaster.
- 43:32Speaker 3: And you're gone for eleven months shuttling yourself across the
- 43:37Speaker 3: globe for a bunch of nonsense. Now you've been there,
- 43:39Speaker 3: and you might be getting into a war for NonStop operations.
- 43:43Speaker 3: I mean, and these are what like nineteen twenty year
- 43:45Speaker 3: olds and all that who signed up had no idea
- 43:47Speaker 3: potentially they were getting into. This is why it's not
- 43:49Speaker 3: a game, right to play around with their lives and
- 43:52Speaker 3: just shuttle them back and forth all to put pressure
- 43:54Speaker 3: or potentially just put them into war for Israel.
- 43:57Speaker 1: It's crazy.
- 43:57Speaker 3: I mean everyone is always like, oh, you know, it's
- 43:59Speaker 3: almost a low IQ conspiracy, Like oh, America is always
- 44:02Speaker 3: getting into a war on Israel's behalf, Like, guys, this
- 44:05Speaker 3: one actually is it? Like this is the big one.
- 44:07Speaker 1: This is the big one.
- 44:08Speaker 3: And unfortunately, like I said, Washington, everybody's going along the Democrats,
- 44:13Speaker 3: there's nobody out there silence war powers act. Shout out
- 44:17Speaker 3: to Massy and Rocana, but like that's going to be
- 44:19Speaker 3: like a Barbelee situation in terms of we can look
- 44:22Speaker 3: back on in history, but at the time they're complete,
- 44:24Speaker 3: you know, they're jokes.
- 44:25Speaker 1: That's how people look at them.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Yeah, bipartisan elite is they're either silent because they wanted
- 44:30Speaker 3: to go wrong or they support it.
- 44:32Speaker 1: So there you go.
- 44:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and just one note on the impact of that
- 44:37Speaker 2: morale and fatigue.
- 44:40Speaker 4: Remember one of those like fighter.
- 44:41Speaker 2: Jets slid into the sea when the HUFY operation. Yes,
- 44:46Speaker 2: the after action report, the analysis there was that you know,
- 44:49Speaker 2: fatigue basically played into that. That's the reason why they
- 44:53Speaker 2: were you know, like making whatever errors were causing these
- 44:56Speaker 2: fire jets to be lost at sea. So you know,
- 45:00Speaker 2: can have real operational impacts as we head into whatever
- 45:03Speaker 2: we're heading into.
- 45:04Speaker 1: Yep, there you go.
- 45:06Speaker 3: All right, let's get to Epstein. Turning now to the
- 45:11Speaker 3: fallout from the Epstein files. Lord Mandelsson in the UK
- 45:15Speaker 3: has been arrested. Let's go and put this video up
- 45:18Speaker 3: here on the screen. You can see the purp walk
- 45:21Speaker 3: of him being led from his brick mansion, you know,
- 45:25Speaker 3: in his stately outfit there of what befits a British
- 45:30Speaker 3: lord being led by the Metropolitan police into a waiting car. Now,
- 45:34Speaker 3: Remember the British system is weird, and for some reason
- 45:37Speaker 3: they don't just say so and so has been arrested.
- 45:40Speaker 1: But we do know.
- 45:41Speaker 3: See one, let's put that up here on the screen.
- 45:43Speaker 3: You can see right here. Lord Mandlsson was arrested on
- 45:45Speaker 3: suspicion of conduct in public office a short while ago,
- 45:50Speaker 3: the former minister being led from his London home to
- 45:53Speaker 3: an unmarked car by police officers. The x US ambassadors
- 45:57Speaker 3: under investigation over allegations he shared market sensitive government information
- 46:01Speaker 3: with Jeffrey Epstein while a government minister. He has not
- 46:04Speaker 3: yet publicly commented on the matter. But you know, to
- 46:08Speaker 3: say allegedly shared is not even true like he shared it.
- 46:12Speaker 3: It's in the fine So the only thing the email, right,
- 46:15Speaker 3: the only defense is is it where you hacked?
- 46:18Speaker 7: And do that?
- 46:18Speaker 3: Can you pull a joy read and say Russian hackers
- 46:20Speaker 3: in twenty ten actually sent the email on behalf of
- 46:24Speaker 3: privileged non public information? Or did you send it, bro,
- 46:27Speaker 3: because I'm pretty sure you sent it. Now what's even
- 46:30Speaker 3: crazier is that's only the tip of the iceberg. Gordon
- 46:33Speaker 3: Brown has said he's already shared more information with the
- 46:37Speaker 3: with the current authorities. There could be all kinds that
- 46:40Speaker 3: we're thinking about. Epstein files is just Epstein and his emails.
- 46:44Speaker 3: They have access to his real email. So if they
- 46:46Speaker 3: could subpoena and look at all of their stuff and
- 46:48Speaker 3: shared over with the authorities, could be the tip of
- 46:50Speaker 3: the iceberg. If a person's willing to share non public
- 46:52Speaker 3: market information with one person, you really think they've never
- 46:55Speaker 3: done it before? Or is this maybe a ring where
- 46:58Speaker 3: this happened one time and we just so happened to
- 46:59Speaker 3: get the email in this one point again, you know,
- 47:01Speaker 3: for the British authorities, I don't have any proof of that.
- 47:04Speaker 3: I'm only speculating, not even necessarily impugning the character of
- 47:07Speaker 3: the Great Lord. But you know, for when you think
- 47:12Speaker 3: about how this has exploded across the world and comparing
- 47:17Speaker 3: it here, it's unbelievable. You have now Lord Mandleson and
- 47:20Speaker 3: Prince Andrew. Prince Andrew is going to literally lose his
- 47:23Speaker 3: line in the British succession, which but that's the prince
- 47:25Speaker 3: ship that I'm talking about. That's what I want to
- 47:27Speaker 3: see is if we're going to have the institution, then
- 47:29Speaker 3: we got to be like, declare his blood unworthy of
- 47:32Speaker 3: sitting on the throne. But now you have Lord A Manersson,
- 47:35Speaker 3: he might get getting his title stripped. He's going to jail,
- 47:37Speaker 3: potentially getting arrested. You have the former Norwegian prime minister.
- 47:41Speaker 3: He just tried to commit suicide. Apparently there was just
- 47:43Speaker 3: a report out this morning. I mean, you've got multiple
- 47:46Speaker 3: of these of Slovakia, you've had that official here in
- 47:49Speaker 3: the US. Former governor is just got some professional consequence.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Peter Atia. By the way, we can give an update
- 47:55Speaker 1: and see six. Let's put that on the screen.
- 47:57Speaker 3: He has he either resigned or he's no law At
- 48:00Speaker 3: CBS News over this correspondence, we have the leaders of
- 48:05Speaker 3: Apollo Group, of that major law firm here in Washington.
- 48:09Speaker 3: All of these people have stepped down. But all of
- 48:11Speaker 3: the accountability in America is in the private sector. Yeah,
- 48:15Speaker 3: and over there it's the official governments who are the
- 48:18Speaker 3: French authorities. They're reopening the investigation into the suicide of
- 48:22Speaker 3: Jean Luc Brunel and his suspicious debt. In addition to
- 48:26Speaker 3: raiding the offices of file of people named in the files,
- 48:30Speaker 3: the Macron government being mentioned in the Epstein files actually
- 48:34Speaker 3: caused like kind of a political earthquake over here over there,
- 48:37Speaker 3: but here it's like business as usual, and I think
- 48:40Speaker 3: that's just what I want to highlight.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Yeah, there's two points to make about this. Number One,
- 48:43Speaker 2: all these various investigations that now have been launched around
- 48:46Speaker 2: the world are going to be really important, because not
- 48:48Speaker 2: just in the case of Mandelssohn, but in France and
- 48:50Speaker 2: other countries around the world where they've actually taken this seriously,
- 48:53Speaker 2: you are going to have some sort of discovery process
- 48:56Speaker 2: where you're going to see war, where you're going to
- 48:58Speaker 2: learn war. So in effect, you'll have more or Epstein
- 49:00Speaker 2: files that are released as a result of the actions
- 49:03Speaker 2: in these various countries. The other thing that I was
- 49:05Speaker 2: thinking about is like it makes me a little bit
- 49:08Speaker 2: more sympathetic towards Cancel culture because that's literally the only
- 49:12Speaker 2: elite accountability that we apparently have in this country, and
- 49:15Speaker 2: that's the only mechanism we have. That's the only reason
- 49:18Speaker 2: Kathy Rumbler, the Pritzker guy, or Peter Attilla or any
- 49:22Speaker 2: of these people are having to face anything, because there's
- 49:25Speaker 2: not We've already been told from the government we're not
- 49:26Speaker 2: going to do any criminal investigation.
- 49:28Speaker 4: This is done.
- 49:28Speaker 2: We're you know, closed we're not releasing and we have
- 49:31Speaker 2: any more files. We don't want to talk about it anymore.
- 49:32Speaker 2: We don't think there's anything to investigate here. We don't
- 49:34Speaker 2: think there's anything prosecuted here, you know, within our own government,
- 49:38Speaker 2: let alone, you know, among any other business leaders.
- 49:40Speaker 4: We are moving on. Nothing to see here.
- 49:43Speaker 2: So essentially our only real recourse is through shame and
- 49:48Speaker 2: pressure of various corporate entities to try to make people
- 49:51Speaker 2: who are implicated loose their jobs. That's all this public has.
- 49:55Speaker 2: So you can see why there has been in the past,
- 49:58Speaker 2: you know, and I think currently with this in the
- 50:00Speaker 2: context of Epstein files, why there has been such a
- 50:02Speaker 2: frenzy around these type of pressure campaigns because there's no
- 50:05Speaker 2: hope that there's going to be any sort of like
- 50:07Speaker 2: criminal justice account.
- 50:08Speaker 3: That's the problem though, right is yeah, and this was
- 50:10Speaker 3: always the criticism of cancel culture is like, look, you're
- 50:13Speaker 3: literally going after like a podcast host or a comedian
- 50:16Speaker 3: while people who are in power are facing nothing. It's
- 50:18Speaker 3: like literally an inversion of the way that democracy is
- 50:21Speaker 3: supposed to work.
- 50:21Speaker 1: Well, here you go, this is the same problem.
- 50:23Speaker 3: You've got Peter Tia, Who's look, I mean, yeah, it's
- 50:26Speaker 3: creepy emails, all right, And like I said, I'm sketched
- 50:28Speaker 3: out by it. Going to take everything he says from
- 50:31Speaker 3: now on with the grain of salt. It's really disgusting.
- 50:33Speaker 3: But it's not the same as former governors and presidents.
- 50:37Speaker 3: And right now, the Commerce Secretary.
- 50:41Speaker 4: For the President of the United States, the guy.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Who's talking to me about Mett Foreman, you know, sent
- 50:45Speaker 3: a really discussing, creepy email to Epstein faces some professional
- 50:49Speaker 3: consequences like okay, but the guy who sets the tariff
- 50:52Speaker 3: policy of the United States of America lied about his relationship.
- 50:55Speaker 3: That's kind of a whole other story, you know, and
- 50:57Speaker 3: for him and then not just that, he said, oh well,
- 51:00Speaker 3: I never what do you say. I visited the island
- 51:02Speaker 3: and I had lunch with him years after I said
- 51:05Speaker 3: I was never going to see him again. That's pretty
- 51:07Speaker 3: different in terms of accountability. But for some reason, because
- 51:10Speaker 3: we know that we can't have any accountability at the top,
- 51:13Speaker 3: that we try to search for it with all of
- 51:14Speaker 3: the former governors. I'm like, sorry, I don't care about
- 51:17Speaker 3: the former I mean I do, but not in the
- 51:19Speaker 3: same way as what's happening or.
- 51:21Speaker 1: It's a head of a law firm or righting like that.
- 51:23Speaker 3: Sure, it's good, fine, but it's not the same as
- 51:25Speaker 3: actually looking at the top.
- 51:26Speaker 1: And that's that's the problem I have.
- 51:28Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, cancel culture is a form of like digital
- 51:30Speaker 2: vigilante justice basically. And you can understand why in a
- 51:34Speaker 2: time when you feel like the justice system, why there's
- 51:37Speaker 2: clearly different rules for different people depending on you know,
- 51:41Speaker 2: whether you're part of the Epstein class or whether you're not.
- 51:44Speaker 2: And you know, and that's that's how you end up
- 51:48Speaker 2: with a mass system of vigilante justice. And I continue
- 51:51Speaker 2: to maintain that one of the one of the major
- 51:54Speaker 2: problems in this country has to be dealt with going
- 51:56Speaker 2: forward is the total elite impunity that had been enjoyed
- 52:01Speaker 2: over decades. You know, if you go back to the
- 52:03Speaker 2: Iraq War lies, if you go back to the financial
- 52:06Speaker 2: crisis and the fact that you know, these bankers destroyed
- 52:10Speaker 2: the entire conomy, ruined millions of people's lives, people who
- 52:13Speaker 2: still haven't recovered from what happened to them in that crisis,
- 52:17Speaker 2: and there's no accountability there. And then you get this
- 52:19Speaker 2: little window into a completely depraved network that operated, you know,
- 52:25Speaker 2: above the reach of any sort of nation state, any
- 52:28Speaker 2: sort of system of laws. If you don't grapple with that,
- 52:31Speaker 2: you are going to continue to.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Have societal breakdown.
- 52:35Speaker 2: There has to be some sense that even elites are
- 52:39Speaker 2: subject to some sort of accountability for their malfeasance. And
- 52:43Speaker 2: so I think Americans are looking at the Brits with
- 52:45Speaker 2: jealousy right now. You know, you've got literal royals facing
- 52:49Speaker 2: more accountability than our supposed you know, democratic administration here,
- 52:54Speaker 2: Like we're supposed to be the no kings people, right,
- 52:56Speaker 2: and yet the actual royals facing more accountability and justice
- 53:01Speaker 2: than you know, are representative.
- 53:02Speaker 3: See, I've been defending the monarchy for a long time, Crystal,
- 53:05Speaker 3: this is wine.
- 53:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm coming around on that one.
- 53:07Speaker 3: You have hundreds of years and a culture of accountability.
- 53:10Speaker 1: This is what happened.
- 53:11Speaker 3: All the Brits are going to be furious and the
- 53:12Speaker 3: Indians are going to be mad at me about that
- 53:15Speaker 3: one too. But look, fundamentally, I love separation, you know,
- 53:18Speaker 3: of the head of state and the head of government.
- 53:20Speaker 3: I just think it's an amazing system works out well
- 53:23Speaker 3: for a lot of people.
- 53:23Speaker 4: I just want the free healthcare.
- 53:26Speaker 1: Well, you know that.
- 53:27Speaker 3: One's the more complicated for there. Let's go to the
- 53:30Speaker 3: next one. Shall we just to show you fall from
- 53:33Speaker 3: grace from the great Lord of Lord Mandelsson.
- 53:36Speaker 1: This one is C two.
- 53:38Speaker 3: Here he is just nine months ago in the Oval
- 53:41Speaker 3: Office presenting his credentials to Donald Trump. He was a lord,
- 53:45Speaker 3: he was the ambassador. If you've never seen it, the
- 53:48Speaker 3: British residence ambassador here in Washington is like a country
- 53:52Speaker 3: estate with a little garden lawn, and it's a palatial mansion.
- 53:57Speaker 3: They whine and dine, the Washington elite. And that's where
- 54:01Speaker 3: he was not that long time ago. And here he
- 54:04Speaker 3: is now being led away, literally into a waiting police card.
- 54:08Speaker 3: We also did want to update a few emails which
- 54:11Speaker 3: have come across our desk. Let's put this one up
- 54:13Speaker 3: here on the screen. This is a pretty crazy one.
- 54:15Speaker 3: Perhaps a slip of the tongue. Twenty twenty one, year
- 54:18Speaker 3: after Epstein died, an assistant US Attorney for the Eastern
- 54:21Speaker 3: District discussed as a confidentiality agreement quote in connection with
- 54:25Speaker 3: the investigation into the murder of Jeffrey Epstein, Perhaps.
- 54:30Speaker 1: A slip of the tongue.
- 54:31Speaker 3: He says into the death of an inmate at Brooklyn, MDC,
- 54:34Speaker 3: the OCME, I'm assuming that's a medical examiner told me
- 54:37Speaker 3: it's signed a confidentiality agreement in connection with the investigations
- 54:40Speaker 3: and the murder of Jeffrey Epstein. We were hoping to
- 54:42Speaker 3: extend a similar agreement, and I wanted to see if
- 54:45Speaker 3: you could share the agreement or boilerplate version of it.
- 54:48Speaker 3: I'm happy to speak over the phone if that's easier.
- 54:51Speaker 1: My cell is X.
- 54:52Speaker 3: So basically, he says, we're going to give this deal
- 54:54Speaker 3: to another inmate, but this is about the investigation into
- 54:57Speaker 3: the murder of Jeffrey Epstein, hoping if there's similar agreement
- 55:01Speaker 3: it's in place. Here's why it's a little bit suspicious,
- 55:03Speaker 3: not just the word murder. Clearly, this is an investigation
- 55:07Speaker 3: into the death which they think is a murder. And
- 55:10Speaker 3: he's referring to the other to the death of Epstein
- 55:14Speaker 3: as a murder, which it maybe it was considered that
- 55:16Speaker 3: at some time. Now, remember the official conclusion is suicide.
- 55:19Speaker 3: But they never even claimed that they investigated a murder.
- 55:22Speaker 3: They ruled suicide from day one, basically from the from
- 55:25Speaker 3: the very first you know, announcement.
- 55:26Speaker 4: From the press release that ro drafted.
- 55:29Speaker 1: So they're like, okay, man, I mean, this is pretty crasty.
- 55:33Speaker 2: I mean, could be that when they drafted that press
- 55:37Speaker 2: release announcing his death, they just messed up on the.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Date, and which is actually believable, just.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Happened to mess up here as well and call it
- 55:46Speaker 2: a murder even though it was totally definitely a suicide.
- 55:50Speaker 4: And it just happened. The cameras didn't work, and it
- 55:52Speaker 4: just happen when they.
- 55:53Speaker 2: Put out the video that supposedly proved that there was
- 55:56Speaker 2: nothing to see there, there was, you know, not one
- 55:59Speaker 2: a person in the video that they claimed that they
- 56:02Speaker 2: pretended wasn't there, and there were minutes missing, and the
- 56:05Speaker 2: guards happened to be asleep and etcetera, etcetera.
- 56:08Speaker 4: And you know, people who look at the body say
- 56:10Speaker 4: this cook the cameras.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and we never found the news. But yeah, that
- 56:13Speaker 2: all makes a lot of sense. That all just really
- 56:16Speaker 2: just a comedy of errors.
- 56:17Speaker 4: That's all it is. It's just nothing to see here. Soder.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's right. Let's go to C four. This is
- 56:22Speaker 3: another interesting story. This one came out yesterday from Ryan
- 56:25Speaker 3: Goodman over at Just Security.
- 56:26Speaker 1: They're like a legal blog, and they looked into some
- 56:28Speaker 1: of this.
- 56:29Speaker 3: They say the FBI issued a stand down directive to
- 56:32Speaker 3: the NYPD on Jeffrey Epstein investigation. More five days after
- 56:38Speaker 3: Epstein's arrests in summer of twenty nineteen, federal authorities directed
- 56:41Speaker 3: the New York Police Department to stand down it's investigations
- 56:44Speaker 3: related to Epstein. New documents released show the directive applied
- 56:48Speaker 3: to the NYPD Special Victims Unit, the group that was
- 56:51Speaker 3: specially trained and equipped to handle sex crimes. At the time,
- 56:54Speaker 3: the Manhattan DA had an ongoing investigation with the Epstein victims,
- 56:58Speaker 3: but the FBI assumed that would come into a halt
- 57:00Speaker 3: as well following the bureau's directive. Revelations are part of
- 57:03Speaker 3: the chronology, which spans nineteen ninety sixty two thousand and five.
- 57:06Speaker 3: The timeline amounts to the most comprehensive record to date
- 57:09Speaker 3: of the publicly available information of New York law enforcement
- 57:12Speaker 3: authorities actions and inaction whenever it regards Epstein, and is
- 57:16Speaker 3: provided below. You can read very specifically, not only the
- 57:20Speaker 3: origination of the claiming about Maria Farmer, but then the
- 57:23Speaker 3: NYPD stand down order, and sometime around twenty twelve, Epstein
- 57:27Speaker 3: and one of his victim's assistants actually discussed NYPD contacting
- 57:31Speaker 3: her and so you have this year's long kind of
- 57:34Speaker 3: investigation and discussion with Epstein, the NYPD who's constantly kind
- 57:39Speaker 3: of monitoring this case and potentially getting involved until they
- 57:41Speaker 3: get this federal stand down directive. Now again, we always
- 57:45Speaker 3: got to present the innocent explanation. Anybody ever watched a
- 57:48Speaker 3: cop show, there's always terf wur you don't want them
- 57:50Speaker 3: to get involved.
- 57:51Speaker 1: It's it's possible, it's possible.
- 57:53Speaker 3: But like you said, with the murder investigation, you're like, well,
- 57:56Speaker 3: you know, if you look at it as a one
- 57:57Speaker 3: off shirt, but if you put the totality of it
- 58:00Speaker 3: at all, it's a little bit it's a bit sketchy, right,
- 58:02Speaker 3: And so that's why I think this is worth highlighting
- 58:04Speaker 3: as well.
- 58:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and this was, you know, during the first Trump administration.
- 58:08Speaker 4: Bill Barr is ag.
- 58:10Speaker 2: His dad is the one who hires Jeffrey Epstein when
- 58:14Speaker 2: he's wildly unqualified for his first job at the elite
- 58:17Speaker 2: Dalton School. So he's put in contact with the children
- 58:20Speaker 2: of Manhattan's elites. And you know, that's the era that
- 58:24Speaker 2: we're talking about here in terms of AG Bill Barr
- 58:28Speaker 2: being in place and Trump being the president at the
- 58:31Speaker 2: time that this standdown order is ultimately issue
