- 0:00Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on News Radio 570 WKBN. Why, it's
- 0:06Speaker 1: a lovely day to say the least. Welcome to Thursday,
- 0:09Speaker 1: July 30th.
- 0:10Speaker 2: One more day.
- 0:10Speaker 3: It's the end of July. Already we'll be into August.
- 0:14Speaker 3: And before long, the Canfield Fair will be here. And
- 0:16Speaker 3: then after that, it's all downhill. Fall is officially here,
- 0:20Speaker 3: at least in our neck of the woods, once the
- 0:21Speaker 3: fair comes to a conclusion at the end of August.
- 0:25Speaker 4: All right.
- 0:26Speaker 3: But anyway, we are nearing the final day of the
- 0:29Speaker 3: month of July. 82 degrees. Sun is shining. It's a
- 0:32Speaker 3: lovely day in our neck of the woods. Just a
- 0:34Speaker 3: programming note. I will be on. Well, I'm going to
- 0:38Speaker 3: take tomorrow off. I'm going to take a day off
- 0:40Speaker 3: on Friday and I'm going to take Monday off as well.
- 0:43Speaker 3: We'll return to the broadcast on Tuesday, August 4th.
- 0:46Speaker 4: All right?
- 0:47Speaker 3: So we'll be off tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, obviously, and Monday.
- 0:51Speaker 3: So there you go. And returning on Tuesday, August 4th,
- 0:55Speaker 3: just as a programming note so you know what's going on.
- 0:58Speaker 2: All right? Just to keep you in the loop.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Sometimes your fearless leader needs to recharge your batteries, as
- 1:04Speaker 3: they say, and take a break once in a while.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Right?
- 1:08Speaker 2: You're okay with that, right?
- 1:09Speaker 5: Absolutely.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Absolutely. All right, so let's see what awaits me here.
- 1:13Speaker 3: We have The Legal Show at 5 today, being Thursday.
- 1:17Speaker 2: John Arnold at 6. And you're on the air.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Hello.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Ron, good afternoon, sir.
- 1:24Speaker 2: How are you? Ladies and gentlemen, it's Rich the Pharmacist.
- 1:27Speaker 2: I'm well, Rich. What's on your mind today?
- 1:30Speaker 4: Well, I had to work yesterday. I worked a 12-hour
- 1:32Speaker 4: shift yesterday. So this morning when I get up and
- 1:34Speaker 4: I read the news, I put on your podcast, which
- 1:36Speaker 4: incidentally is a fantastic way. If you can't listen during
- 1:40Speaker 4: your program, the podcast is outstanding. And the best part
- 1:44Speaker 4: about it is, in my opinion, there's a little button
- 1:47Speaker 4: that lets you fast-forward at 30-second intervals. So when, like,
- 1:52Speaker 4: Frankie and I semi-gets on or JJ gets on, I
- 1:54Speaker 4: just keep hitting the 30-second button until they're gone.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Well, now... You know, that's not nice. All right.
- 2:03Speaker 4: Well, it's true, though. I mean, you know, there's people
- 2:05Speaker 4: I want to listen to and people I don't want
- 2:07Speaker 4: to listen to. You know, if there's somebody I don't like,
- 2:09Speaker 4: people don't like me. But there's always a 30-second.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Button, so I'm gone. Well, there had to be callers
- 2:14Speaker 2: you liked, too, I hope, yesterday.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Oh, absolutely. And two of them starting— the first hour was good.
- 2:21Speaker 4: The second hour, the 4 o'clock hour, was outstanding because—
- 2:25Speaker 4: You had the boss lady on, and you had Denise,
- 2:27Speaker 4: the lady that's collecting all the signatures to get the
- 2:32Speaker 4: property tax repeal. And one of them had told me
- 2:37Speaker 4: they sent me the Poland Township trustee video, which I
- 2:40Speaker 4: think I forwarded to you.
- 2:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 2:42Speaker 4: And if you start listening to that, how disturbing and
- 2:47Speaker 4: angry do you start getting at the fact that these
- 2:51Speaker 4: morons are running this township into the ground? I mean,
- 2:56Speaker 4: I don't understand how you can be like, Eric, I'm here.
- 2:59Speaker 4: It's been there, what, 12 years or something like that?
- 3:02Speaker 4: He's been there a long time. How do you let
- 3:04Speaker 4: the township get into the fiscal condition it's in where
- 3:07Speaker 4: you're not going to be able to make payroll the
- 3:08Speaker 4: first week of August, most likely? Right. But you went
- 3:13Speaker 4: out and bought a $ 75, 000 brand-new Chevy Tahoe, which you
- 3:16Speaker 4: then couldn't afford to equip, so now you've got to
- 3:19Speaker 4: sell it. I mean, it just gets me. It blows
- 3:23Speaker 4: my mind. how poorly run many of these places are. Now,
- 3:29Speaker 4: that said, you know, I go to my, and this
- 3:32Speaker 4: is why, in all honesty, if people in this audience
- 3:36Speaker 4: do nothing else, at least once or twice a year,
- 3:39Speaker 4: if you live in a township, go to your trustees meetings,
- 3:41Speaker 4: go to a school board meeting, go to a village
- 3:44Speaker 4: or city council meeting, or go on their website and
- 3:48Speaker 4: find out what's going on. Now, one of the things
- 3:51Speaker 4: that's bothering me is the Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities,
- 3:57Speaker 4: or basically Leonard Kurtz, and they take care of the
- 4:00Speaker 4: people that are mentally challenged, physically handicapped, things like that,
- 4:04Speaker 4: which I think.
- 4:05Speaker 6: All of us..
- 4:06Speaker 4: Would agree. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a
- 4:09Speaker 4: heartless soul in your listening audience that doesn't think that
- 4:12Speaker 4: as healthy, productive citizens, we have a duty to take
- 4:17Speaker 4: care of those less fortunate than us. Correct?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:21Speaker 4: But you go onto their website. I've never been on
- 4:24Speaker 4: their website. So this morning, I'm messing around, and I
- 4:26Speaker 4: go on their website, and I start fooling around. And
- 4:29Speaker 4: they have something, it's a one, two, three, it's the
- 4:32Speaker 4: fourth item over on the head mask, the head part
- 4:36Speaker 4: of their website. It says supplemental trust services. And this
- 4:41Speaker 4: is something that they provide. It's a trust that has money,
- 4:44Speaker 4: that had money. Now, it says right when you click
- 4:47Speaker 4: on that, please note funds have been exhausted and this
- 4:50Speaker 4: program is paused until, if and until more funds are
- 4:53Speaker 4: made available. And can I read you some of the
- 4:57Speaker 4: criteria and some of the supplemental services that this fund
- 5:02Speaker 4: provides for? Because I think people, before you just go
- 5:07Speaker 4: and say, oh, you know, these are unfortunate people. We
- 5:10Speaker 4: really need to just, because I think everybody when it
- 5:12Speaker 4: comes to these levies just says yes. Oh, it's for
- 5:15Speaker 4: the disabled. It's for, you know, bleeding heart. Just check yes.
- 5:21Speaker 4: This fund is actually set up by the Ohio Revised Code,
- 5:25Speaker 4: Section 5815.28, which I have not gotten to yet. I
- 5:28Speaker 4: haven't had a chance to go to the ORC and
- 5:30Speaker 4: look that law up yet, but I plan to. But
- 5:33Speaker 4: this money, it says supplemental services which meet the criteria
- 5:37Speaker 4: outlined above may include but are not limited to, one,
- 5:41Speaker 4: reimbursement for attendance or participation in recreational or cultural events. Two,
- 5:46Speaker 4: travel and vacations. Three, participation in hobbies, sports, or other activities.
- 5:51Speaker 4: For items beyond necessary, food and clothing. Example, funds for
- 5:55Speaker 4: dining out occasionally, for special foods periodically delivered, or for
- 5:59Speaker 4: an article of clothing such as a coat which is
- 6:00Speaker 4: a quote extra, but which is desirable because it is
- 6:04Speaker 4: newer or more stylish. Cosmetic, extraordinary, experimental, or elective medical
- 6:09Speaker 4: or dental care. Visiting with friends or family. Exercise equipment
- 6:13Speaker 4: or special medical equipment. The difference in rent between a
- 6:16Speaker 4: shared bedroom and a private bedroom. equipment or services for
- 6:21Speaker 4: the individual's private use, such as telephones, smartphones, cable television, televisions, radios, cameras, computers,
- 6:27Speaker 4: computer software, internet service, video recorders, and video games. Membership
- 6:31Speaker 4: in clubs or other organizations, such as book clubs, health clubs,
- 6:34Speaker 4: community organizations.
- 6:36Speaker 5: It goes on.
- 6:37Speaker 4: I mean, I'm not going to take up time to
- 6:38Speaker 4: read all of them. There's 23 items. The 23 is
- 6:41Speaker 4: the last thing it says it pays for. This is wonderful.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Other expenditures used to provide dignity, purpose, optimism, and joy
- 6:50Speaker 4: to the beneficiary of a supplemental services trust. Sign me up.
- 6:59Speaker 4: How do I become eligible so that I can get this?
- 7:03Speaker 4: Because this is all stuff that the people in your
- 7:06Speaker 4: audience are paying taxes for To go out and provide,
- 7:09Speaker 4: and none of this is required, in my opinion. You
- 7:13Speaker 4: disagree with me.
- 7:14Speaker 2: Now, who's the beneficiary of this stuff?
- 7:18Speaker 4: The beneficiary would be, I guess, the disabled person and
- 7:21Speaker 4: or their family.
- 7:22Speaker 3: All right, and they are entitled, not entitled, they can
- 7:26Speaker 3: get all of this stuff paid for by someone else.
- 7:30Speaker 7: All right, and now is that.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Tax dollars or is that money that was set aside
- 7:35Speaker 3: by someone else?
- 7:37Speaker 4: It doesn't say that this is like donations, like, you know,
- 7:41Speaker 4: Ron and Rich decide that we were going to write
- 7:43Speaker 4: a check for $ 100 to them so that they can
- 7:46Speaker 4: do this stuff. I would assume, I mean, and I
- 7:48Speaker 4: don't know this for a fact, but I would assume
- 7:50Speaker 4: that somehow our tax money, whether it's federal, state, local, whatever,
- 7:54Speaker 4: you know, it's all our money in the end. But
- 7:57Speaker 4: somehow tax money is getting used to fund this. And
- 8:02Speaker 4: I don't mind. Like I've said, I 100% support helping
- 8:08Speaker 4: these people so that they can have some type of
- 8:10Speaker 4: a dignified life. But where do you draw the line
- 8:14Speaker 4: on this? This is why these NGOs are getting so big,
- 8:20Speaker 4: and this is why so many people... If you talk
- 8:22Speaker 4: to any teacher in the last 20, probably more than
- 8:25Speaker 4: 20 years... The increase in the number of students who
- 8:32Speaker 4: are getting what they call identified so that they can
- 8:38Speaker 4: get supplemental services is just astronomical. Everybody's trying to get
- 8:43Speaker 4: their kid. It's called an individual education plan, an education,
- 8:46Speaker 4: an IEP. And the number of kids that are getting identified,
- 8:51Speaker 4: you know, that go out to one of my other
- 8:53Speaker 4: favorite organizations, Mahoney County Educational Service Center, That's the other organization,
- 8:58Speaker 4: another county organization that just spends untold amount of our
- 9:02Speaker 4: money on a lot of things that, in my opinion,
- 9:05Speaker 4: are just nonsense. A lot of the stuff that is
- 9:08Speaker 4: supposedly educational is just ridiculous. And people in your audience
- 9:13Speaker 4: need to start going out and looking at some of
- 9:16Speaker 4: these organizations that your tax money is flowing into. Because
- 9:21Speaker 4: I went on Meacham's site today, and I looked. My
- 9:26Speaker 4: property value went from $ 411 to $ 491. It was a 20% increase,
- 9:31Speaker 4: which means thank you, Dave Thomas. I'm not going to
- 9:34Speaker 4: see that 20% increase on the main side millage. I'm
- 9:36Speaker 4: going to get whatever the inflation rate was last year.
- 9:39Speaker 4: They'll be allowed to collect, and hopefully I can convince
- 9:42Speaker 4: my trustees and my school board not to take it.
- 9:46Speaker 4: The chance I'm going to get the county... you know,
- 9:48Speaker 4: Gino and the other two commissioners to say they're not
- 9:51Speaker 4: going to take the increase inside millage, good luck with that. Because,
- 9:55Speaker 4: you know, none of these organizations ever have enough of
- 9:58Speaker 4: your money.
- 9:59Speaker 5: Right.
- 10:00Speaker 4: But I started looking at this, and I'm just like,
- 10:03Speaker 4: you know, and I believe somebody said on your program
- 10:07Speaker 4: that this particular organization went from, what, roughly a $ 60
- 10:11Speaker 4: million a year budget to now needing $ 100 million a year? Right.
- 10:15Speaker 5: Right.
- 10:18Speaker 4: Well, when you look at this supplemental trust service, it's
- 10:20Speaker 4: no wonder. You're buying cell phones and televisions and TV
- 10:25Speaker 4: subscriptions and coats. I mean, I'm sorry. At what point
- 10:30Speaker 4: do we as a taxpayer get to share in some
- 10:34Speaker 4: of the same services that these people get? Because you're
- 10:39Speaker 4: providing them with stuff that are, you know, are luxuries
- 10:43Speaker 4: for a lot of us vacations. I mean, at what
- 10:46Speaker 4: point do you, do you pay for a travel or
- 10:49Speaker 4: vacation for somebody that's getting public assistance? I just don't
- 10:56Speaker 4: understand it. And the more that I dig into government
- 10:58Speaker 4: and like I've told you, if this is how bad
- 11:01Speaker 4: you're getting screwed by these organizations at the local level,
- 11:07Speaker 4: can you imagine going down to Columbus and, Go down
- 11:09Speaker 4: to Washington, D.C. I can't even fathom it. It's why
- 11:12Speaker 4: we are $ 40 trillion and climbing in debt.
- 11:15Speaker 3: Well, we saw some of it with Elon Musk in
- 11:17Speaker 3: that Doge program, but they ran him out of town
- 11:20Speaker 3: and they stopped that, obviously.
- 11:22Speaker 4: And that's the problem. I think, like, G2, your program
- 11:25Speaker 4: yesterday was outstanding, by the way. It was, I mean,
- 11:28Speaker 4: it was between... Boss Lady, Denise, G2, and I think
- 11:35Speaker 4: it was G2 that said something like, it was talking
- 11:39Speaker 4: about the growth of these programs, but if you go
- 11:41Speaker 4: after them, if you're somebody like us that says, hey,
- 11:44Speaker 4: why are we paying for vacations? Why are we using
- 11:46Speaker 4: taxpayer money to provide vacations to people? All of a sudden,
- 11:51Speaker 4: or if you're going after, we need to cut jobs.
- 11:55Speaker 4: This place is fat. The payroll here is way, way
- 11:57Speaker 4: out of line. We need to cut jobs. You become
- 12:00Speaker 4: enemy number one. And I can tell you that because
- 12:03Speaker 4: go to a school board meeting and start saying you
- 12:04Speaker 4: have too many employees. You will be called everything but
- 12:07Speaker 4: a responsible citizen. And they will come after you because
- 12:11Speaker 4: I've done it. Believe me. They will come after you,
- 12:14Speaker 4: and they will come.
- 12:15Speaker 6: After your family.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Right. Here's the reality. There's no end in sight to this.
- 12:19Speaker 3: That's why I say they will not be happy until
- 12:21Speaker 3: they have all of your money. I mean, until they
- 12:24Speaker 3: have all of your money, it will never be enough.
- 12:26Speaker 3: So your only answer, and I do mean your only answer,
- 12:29Speaker 3: is sign those petitions that Denise has out there. Get
- 12:32Speaker 3: that constitutional amendment on the ballots to do away with
- 12:35Speaker 3: property taxes. Because if you don't, You will be priced
- 12:40Speaker 3: out of your home.
- 12:41Speaker 7: It's just a matter of time.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Whether as you get older and retire, you'll be priced
- 12:46Speaker 3: out of it, or you'll be priced out of it
- 12:47Speaker 3: during your working years when the taxes continue to go
- 12:50Speaker 3: up beyond the rate of inflation, and you'll be priced
- 12:54Speaker 3: out of it. I'm just telling you right now, pay
- 12:57Speaker 3: attention to this stuff. The more money they get, the
- 13:00Speaker 3: more they spend, the more they grow. You don't hear
- 13:03Speaker 3: about cuts. You don't hear about turning it down. You
- 13:06Speaker 3: don't hear the DeSantis mentality in Florida. We're spending less
- 13:09Speaker 3: this year than we did last year. And we spent
- 13:11Speaker 3: less last year than we did the year before that.
- 13:14Speaker 3: You don't hear that mentality here in Mahoning County. You
- 13:17Speaker 3: hear more money, more government, more programs, less for you.
- 13:22Speaker 3: That's what you have.
- 13:24Speaker 4: Yeah, we need to go wreck a perfectly good building
- 13:26Speaker 4: in downtown Youngstown and build a new $ 60 million county
- 13:31Speaker 4: Taj Mahal.
- 13:32Speaker 3: And were you asked about it? Was your input important?
- 13:35Speaker 3: You'll get the bonds. You'll get the bill for that facility,
- 13:39Speaker 3: but you have no input in it. No input whatsoever
- 13:42Speaker 3: as far as the crazy location, the parking, and the
- 13:46Speaker 3: nonsense that's going on. But, you know, Gino was more
- 13:50Speaker 3: interested in that facility than he was in doing stuff
- 13:53Speaker 3: for the average taxpayer. I mean, he ran as a Republican,
- 13:58Speaker 3: but his main agenda all had to do with the
- 14:01Speaker 3: old Southside Hospital. And so he put the county in debt.
- 14:05Speaker 3: And if you vote him out of office, you'll still
- 14:07Speaker 3: be stuck with that building and that debt without having
- 14:10Speaker 3: a single say so on it. Bad location, bad investments,
- 14:14Speaker 3: bad idea, period. But you don't have a say so.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Shut up.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Here's the bill.
- 14:20Speaker 7: Pay the bonds.
- 14:21Speaker 2: See you later.
- 14:24Speaker 4: And you can go, if you go look up your
- 14:27Speaker 4: property tax on the auditor's website, it breaks it down.
- 14:32Speaker 4: If you scroll down, it breaks it down and shows
- 14:34Speaker 4: you where all your money goes. The schools get the overwhelming.
- 14:36Speaker 4: The schools, like in my case, my Beaver Township, gets
- 14:39Speaker 4: the overwhelming, probably 70% of it. But one of the
- 14:42Speaker 4: things that's on there is county bond retirement. So what
- 14:45Speaker 4: do you think happens when they build the $ 60 million
- 14:48Speaker 4: Mahoning Taj Mahal? What do you think is going to
- 14:51Speaker 4: happen to the county bond retirement? Is it going to
- 14:53Speaker 4: need more or less of our tax money for county
- 14:56Speaker 4: bond retirement?
- 14:59Speaker 3: Right.
- 15:00Speaker 4: There's a lot more of our money. And here's the
- 15:03Speaker 4: other thing. This is the canary in the coal mine.
- 15:07Speaker 4: If you look over the last several months, I think
- 15:10Speaker 4: Boardman Township, Poland Township, Canfield School District, you're starting to
- 15:14Speaker 4: see all these little local fiefdoms say, we are running
- 15:17Speaker 4: out of money. We need to put a new levy on.
- 15:19Speaker 4: Canfield's asking for one. Boardman's asking for one. Poland, I think,
- 15:23Speaker 4: is late. I don't even think, like Denise said yesterday,
- 15:25Speaker 4: I don't even think they're going to be able to
- 15:26Speaker 4: make it because they don't have enough time to get one.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Stand by for one minute. Back with Rich and more
- 15:30Speaker 3: of your calls ahead. Well, I've told you many times,
- 15:36Speaker 3: not all CB is the same. When it comes to CBD,
- 15:39Speaker 3: quality and safety have a high priority, and that's what
- 15:42Speaker 3: you get at Sapphire Essentials at 1975 East Western Reserve
- 15:45Speaker 3: Road in Poland or online at sapphire-essentials.com. For August, the
- 15:49Speaker 3: special is 25% off all pain balm in-store and online.
- 15:53Speaker 3: Use the code 25OFF for online orders or visit the
- 15:56Speaker 3: store in Poland. And don't forget, it's the only CBD
- 15:59Speaker 3: company owned by an aging specialist in our area. Go
- 16:01Speaker 3: to someone you can trust, Dr. Jim Collins at Sapphire
- 16:04Speaker 3: Essentials CBD.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Transform your bathroom with a new walk-in.
- 16:08Speaker 7: WKBN.
- 16:09Speaker 3: All right, so I go to the auditor's site, and
- 16:11Speaker 3: I scroll to the bottom, as.
- 16:12Speaker 2: You say, right?
- 16:14Speaker 4: Yep.
- 16:15Speaker 7: Pick up your property.
- 16:18Speaker 2: And it shows you where all your taxes go.
- 16:21Speaker 8: Yep.
- 16:23Speaker 7: Yeah, that's it.
- 16:24Speaker 4: There's a breakdown.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yep.
- 16:25Speaker 3: Total for Verb Manor, $ 4, 764.
- 16:29Speaker 7: $ 4, 764.
- 16:31Speaker 4: I'm around $ 7, 200, I believe. Yeah, $ 4, 764, which is ridiculous.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Let's see, the schools get $ 2, 311 a year from me. Yeah,
- 16:42Speaker 3: the township gets $ 1, 451 a year from me. The metro
- 16:45Speaker 3: parks get $ 105 a year from me. The children's services
- 16:48Speaker 3: get $ 215. Developmental disabilities, $ 221.
- 16:48Speaker 7: The library, $ 135.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Mental health, $ 75.
- 16:49Speaker 7: The TB, $ 2.
- 16:49Speaker 4: 12.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Let's see, the county bond retirement, $ 22. The county general fund, $ 160.
- 16:51Speaker 3: And senior citizens, $ 62. You add it all up, it's
- 17:14Speaker 3: $ 4, 764 is what they show right there.
- 17:20Speaker 7: It's ridiculous.
- 17:22Speaker 3: What did it used to be? I've got to go back.
- 17:27Speaker 3: It's just interesting. You can see how it's grown over
- 17:30Speaker 3: the years. It's just ridiculous.
- 17:31Speaker 4: But here's the problem. Here's the problem. Like I said,
- 17:34Speaker 4: you see it in Canfield, Boardman, Polk. All of these
- 17:37Speaker 4: places are running out of money.
- 17:38Speaker 5: Yep.
- 17:39Speaker 4: The snowballs have started to come down the mountainside and
- 17:42Speaker 4: are gaining momentum and speed. The financial avalanche that is
- 17:47Speaker 4: going to hit these organizations over the next couple of years,
- 17:50Speaker 4: they are not prepared for. They should have been tightening
- 17:53Speaker 4: their belts. And the reason we've gotten through the last
- 17:56Speaker 4: four or five years okay is because of all the
- 17:58Speaker 4: federal money that Biden threw into the economy and at
- 18:03Speaker 4: these people. Mahoney County got, what, $ 46 million. City of Youngstown,
- 18:07Speaker 4: there's a great one. What was it, $ 83, $ 84 million?
- 18:11Speaker 4: What do we have to show for the $ 84 million
- 18:14Speaker 4: the imbeciles that run the city of Youngstown pissed away
- 18:18Speaker 4: over the last three, four, five years? Name me one
- 18:22Speaker 4: thing you can point to that says, oh, that was
- 18:25Speaker 4: a great way to spend your Biden bucks. I can't
- 18:28Speaker 4: think of anything. I can't think of anything in the
- 18:30Speaker 4: area that we spent federal money on that was from
- 18:34Speaker 4: that appropriation that was supposedly for COVID. I can't think
- 18:40Speaker 4: of anything that we spent our money on that was
- 18:43Speaker 4: a worthwhile expenditure.
- 18:44Speaker 7: All you've got to.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Do is, like you said, look at Poland Township where
- 18:48Speaker 3: they're struggling to have enough money to pay their cops.
- 18:52Speaker 3: And when you listen to that meeting, it was like, well,
- 18:56Speaker 3: what do we do here?
- 18:57Speaker 2: What do we spend here?
- 18:58Speaker 7: What do we do there?
- 18:59Speaker 3: Well, maybe you shouldn't have done that stuff. I mean,
- 19:01Speaker 3: you don't have enough money to function as Poland Township.
- 19:05Speaker 3: But then again, on the other hand, take a look.
- 19:07Speaker 3: Can you imagine if you once again, if you live
- 19:08Speaker 3: in the city of Canfield and you're facing a significant
- 19:12Speaker 3: mill as far as the school levy is concerned and
- 19:16Speaker 3: this MRDD levy nonsense. So both of those would pass.
- 19:20Speaker 3: We can price a lot of people out of their
- 19:22Speaker 3: homes in Canfield. I mean, there's no doubt in my mind.
- 19:25Speaker 3: And I'm not just talking the elderly. I'm talking everybody
- 19:28Speaker 3: in between. It is utter insanity. And I say it again.
- 19:31Speaker 3: It will never be enough till they have all of
- 19:33Speaker 3: your money.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Wake up. That's all I got.
- 19:36Speaker 4: It has to stop. It absolutely has to stop. And
- 19:41Speaker 4: I mean, like I've said, I have three healthy kids.
- 19:44Speaker 4: We stopped after the third because I didn't want to
- 19:46Speaker 4: risk it. And I feel, I can't imagine. what it's
- 19:50Speaker 4: like to have to raise a child that has physical,
- 19:54Speaker 4: mental disability type needs. And I feel for those people.
- 19:58Speaker 3: But you know, the taxpayers can't cover everything. I mean,
- 20:02Speaker 3: everything's got to learn to be more efficient. You can
- 20:04Speaker 3: only do so much.
- 20:06Speaker 4: And I have no problem providing these people with assistance,
- 20:09Speaker 4: but where does it end? Where do you stop? If
- 20:13Speaker 4: you look up in Minnesota, what were they doing? They
- 20:16Speaker 4: were trying to sign up as many people as they
- 20:18Speaker 4: could with autism. People were telling you, go get an
- 20:22Speaker 4: autism diagnosis. They probably took them to a phony doctor
- 20:25Speaker 4: who said, oh, yeah, this kid has autism, so that
- 20:27Speaker 4: they could get them on the dole and start collecting
- 20:29Speaker 4: funds from the government. It's a grift. And I feel
- 20:34Speaker 4: sorry for the legitimate people out there because, like I've said,
- 20:37Speaker 4: I can't imagine having a special needs child or a
- 20:41Speaker 4: special needs adult as they grow older, what have you.
- 20:44Speaker 4: But there is so much waste, fraud, and abuse in
- 20:47Speaker 4: these government programs that needs rooted out. And there's so
- 20:52Speaker 4: many benefits that these things provide that you and I,
- 20:55Speaker 4: we can't afford a lot of this stuff.
- 20:58Speaker 7: The people you're listening to on this How.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Many people take a vacation every year that the government
- 21:02Speaker 4: pays for?
- 21:03Speaker 3: You get a vote on it, I suggest you vote
- 21:05Speaker 3: against it. I genuinely do.
- 21:07Speaker 4: It's got to go down. This MRDD levy has.
- 21:10Speaker 7: To go down.
- 21:10Speaker 4: A message needs to be sent.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I will not vote for it.
- 21:14Speaker 7: Thank you, Rich. Appreciate it.

- 21:25Speaker 1: A house explosion early this morning in Kansas leaving two
- 21:31Speaker 1: people severely.
- 21:32Speaker 9: Burned and injured. The explosion caught on a ring camera
- 21:39Speaker 9: in the 1600 block of Bonnet Road northeast around 4
- 21:42Speaker 9: o'clock completely destroying the home. One victim found in the
- 21:45Speaker 9: street with severe burns and traumatic injuries after being thrown
- 21:47Speaker 9: from the home by the explosion. The other victim found
- 21:49Speaker 9: a block over before 8.30. A natural gas leak said
- 21:52Speaker 9: to have been the cause, but the cause of the
- 21:54Speaker 9: leak and where it came from are still under investigation.
- 21:57Speaker 9: A police officer in Alliance entering into a plea deal,
- 22:00Speaker 9: admitting to OVI and obstructing official business, sentenced to one
- 22:03Speaker 9: year of probation and will pay a fine. Sergeant Ethan
- 22:06Speaker 9: Griffin is said to have struck a pole in Austintown
- 22:08Speaker 9: last month and then tried to flee on foot before
- 22:10Speaker 9: he eventually surrendered. In a separate case, Griffin was arrested Tuesday,
- 22:14Speaker 9: now charged with felony child endangerment. I'm Sean Gallagher.

- 22:30Speaker 1: Now, Ron Verb on NewsRadio 570 WKBN.
- 22:36Speaker 2: And you're on the air.
- 22:36Speaker 6: I like the way you guys are going there. That
- 22:42Speaker 6: people got to do something.
- 22:44Speaker 7: But they won't.
- 22:45Speaker 6: I appreciate it.
- 22:46Speaker 3: I mean, they absolutely will not. Here's what here's what
- 22:51Speaker 3: people need to do. They need to go out and
- 22:52Speaker 3: vote no on this stuff. They need to vote no
- 22:55Speaker 3: on MRDD. They need to vote no on on this
- 22:58Speaker 3: because I was just looking at my my yearly taxes
- 23:02Speaker 3: in 2023. There were four thousand four hundred seventy six
- 23:05Speaker 3: twenty twenty four.
- 23:06Speaker 9: $ 4, 547.
- 23:06Speaker 7: 2025, $ 4, 764.
- 23:07Speaker 3: So they go up a couple hundred a year, basically.
- 23:08Speaker 3: And so now the next step is going to be
- 23:10Speaker 3: just shy of $ 5, 000 a year.
- 23:10Speaker 8: Every year.
- 23:11Speaker 2: I mean, it's just, it's insane.
- 23:12Speaker 7: It is, and it's everything.
- 23:29Speaker 6: And you know what? That's why.
- 23:32Speaker 7: Well, I just looked at it right here.
- 23:34Speaker 3: So let's see. So next year, it's beyond $ 5, 000. It's
- 23:38Speaker 3: $ 5, 092 is where that will be first for the year.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Does that seem right?
- 23:42Speaker 2: Let me see.
- 23:42Speaker 7: I got to look at this. I got to pay.
- 23:57Speaker 2: No, I know.
- 23:58Speaker 3: I stand corrected. So it's going to be 4764. That's
- 24:03Speaker 3: for what year?
- 24:04Speaker 8: 2025.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Okay. Never mind. It's going to be 2026. I can
- 24:10Speaker 2: hardly wait.
- 24:14Speaker 6: No, and I believe you get a take by Dennis
- 24:18Speaker 6: Prager from Prager University. So there's three types of people
- 24:25Speaker 6: out there, the fighters, those who help the fighters, and
- 24:28Speaker 6: those who do nothing. And luckily, right, you got Denise
- 24:34Speaker 6: over there doing her thing, and she's a fighter. And
- 24:37Speaker 6: you got some people helping her, maybe like you. You
- 24:42Speaker 6: got to get it done. And I think, you can
- 24:47Speaker 6: disagree with me if you would like, I think the
- 24:51Speaker 6: Trump administration and his moves on boys not beating up
- 24:56Speaker 6: girls in girls' sports. I'd say the border. I'd say
- 25:03Speaker 6: the waste, fraud, and abuse that he talked about in
- 25:05Speaker 6: 2016 and people made fun of him. There's no waste, fraud,
- 25:08Speaker 6: and abuse.
- 25:10Speaker 4: Okay.
- 25:11Speaker 6: Hey, another fighter, Ben Shapiro, sending his people to Columbus
- 25:16Speaker 6: and finding all the fraud down there. I don't know.
- 25:20Speaker 6: Is it take a village? It takes something. It takes
- 25:23Speaker 6: a group of people. It takes more than one. Because
- 25:27Speaker 6: if Trump did everything he wanted to do, that's fine.
- 25:31Speaker 6: But now he has the backup. Now he has the
- 25:37Speaker 6: DOJ saying, yeah, mutilate those children, you perverts, and you're
- 25:42Speaker 6: going to jail. And, again, we've lived through who, what's
- 25:50Speaker 6: his name, John Kasich and Mitt Romney and all the
- 25:54Speaker 6: rest of them. You know, quote, unquote, Republicans. But they
- 25:59Speaker 6: did nothing. Name a policy. Trump's policies are everything. He's getting,
- 26:06Speaker 6: you know, you do it every day, and that's fine.
- 26:09Speaker 6: It's not my favorite thing to go to Iran. All
- 26:13Speaker 6: I'm saying is, My glass is two-thirds full because of
- 26:17Speaker 6: all the things going on. That lady in Minnesota, jail,
- 26:23Speaker 6: 40 years. That's never happened before for waste, fraud, and abuse.
- 26:28Speaker 6: Forty years, just like Rich was talking about. They try
- 26:32Speaker 6: to get more and more people, right? Sign them up.
- 26:35Speaker 6: Sign them up. They're autistic. And you're stealing money from
- 26:38Speaker 6: actual autistic people.
- 26:40Speaker 5: Well..
- 26:41Speaker 6: You know what? With this administration, it's changing. And if
- 26:47Speaker 6: we can get more done and have, whatever, two and
- 26:52Speaker 6: a half more years, congratulations. Because, again, I think overall,
- 27:01Speaker 6: Trump gets a passing grade. The administration, everybody that backs
- 27:05Speaker 6: him up, Marco Rubio, You know, like you keep pointing
- 27:11Speaker 6: out what DeSantis is doing. You know whose team DeSantis
- 27:14Speaker 6: is on? It's the same team. So this non-establishment Republican
- 27:21Speaker 6: wing is doing amazing things day after day after day,
- 27:29Speaker 6: the day after we watched Fauci squirm in his seat
- 27:33Speaker 6: and look like he was constipated. Because you need to
- 27:38Speaker 6: point it out. And people are, well, I don't want
- 27:41Speaker 6: to go back over. You know what? Sorry that you
- 27:43Speaker 6: don't want to go back over. You have to. You
- 27:47Speaker 6: have to point out. People don't know. Half the people
- 27:50Speaker 6: aren't believing. Another quarter of the people just don't know
- 27:55Speaker 6: what actually went on. And the beauty of America is this.
- 28:02Speaker 6: The different sheriffs, because they're elected, they're different than the
- 28:06Speaker 6: regular police. They said, yeah, we're not enforcing those ridiculous
- 28:12Speaker 6: China virus mandates. And I think I can say China
- 28:16Speaker 6: virus now because we know where it came from. Oops.
- 28:19Speaker 6: Maybe you shouldn't have been writing a diary, a 14-year-old girl.
- 28:23Speaker 6: But me and my wife went to the Grandview Tavern,
- 28:28Speaker 6: Lake Milton. And it had the sign on the door, hey, caution,
- 28:33Speaker 6: China virus, do this, do that, have plexiglass and a mask.
- 28:38Speaker 6: And me and my wife were like, I guess we're
- 28:41Speaker 6: going to put a mask on. And we opened the
- 28:43Speaker 6: door and walked in there. We were the only ones
- 28:46Speaker 6: with a mask on, and everybody looked at us. And
- 28:48Speaker 6: we're like, no, no, no, we're regular humans. We just
- 28:51Speaker 6: saw the sign on the door that said you had
- 28:53Speaker 6: to do this. We didn't know the rules were different.
- 28:56Speaker 6: on the inside of this door. I appreciate you put
- 28:59Speaker 6: it up for the, I don't know, local constable or somebody,
- 29:04Speaker 6: but it was the same thing in Pennsylvania. When you
- 29:07Speaker 6: went out of Allegheny County, it looked like COVID never happened.
- 29:14Speaker 5: But..
- 29:15Speaker 6: The state's in control. They shut down the beaches at
- 29:19Speaker 6: Presque Isle up in Erie because we had a Democrat
- 29:22Speaker 6: governor marching with Black Lives Matter members and saying, look,
- 29:28Speaker 6: to comply with COVID regulations, the beaches at Presque Isle
- 29:35Speaker 6: will be like this. Beach 1 is open. Beach 2
- 29:39Speaker 6: is closed.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Beach 3 is open. Beach 4 is closed.
- 29:42Speaker 6: And so on and so forth. And I'm like, wait,
- 29:45Speaker 6: if you wanted people further apart from each other... Wouldn't
- 29:50Speaker 6: you have all.
- 29:51Speaker 7: The beaches open?
- 29:52Speaker 3: The whole Fauci thing was just the utmost in arrogance
- 29:55Speaker 3: that you saw yesterday. I mean, obviously, he's got this
- 29:59Speaker 3: pardon from Biden. So let's be realistic. No one's going
- 30:03Speaker 3: to be held accountable for this. Which is just frightening
- 30:06Speaker 3: to me. China's not going to be held accountable for
- 30:09Speaker 3: the gain of Function Lab. Fauci's not going to be
- 30:12Speaker 3: held accountable. Fauci is sheer evil. Fauci was funding this stuff. Fauci,
- 30:17Speaker 3: with his diary or whatever you want to call it,
- 30:19Speaker 3: his notes. So you find out from his notes that
- 30:22Speaker 3: Fauci was saying one thing in public and a different
- 30:25Speaker 3: thing in his notebook. So he was contradicting himself. So
- 30:30Speaker 3: he knew he was lying to you. About the mask,
- 30:34Speaker 3: about the six-foot distancing, about he was lying about all
- 30:38Speaker 3: this stuff, about him getting the vaccine, about him having some..
- 30:42Speaker 5: He had a heart attack.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Yeah, him having..
- 30:46Speaker 6: He had a heart attack. That NFL player, DeMar Hamlin, right?
- 30:52Speaker 6: He has the weirdest... heart attack ever. And he's a
- 30:58Speaker 6: 25-year-old super athlete. He's the alpha athlete. And in front
- 31:04Speaker 6: of everybody's eyes, all over America and the world, he
- 31:08Speaker 6: falls on his back, dying on the field.
- 31:11Speaker 7: You're right.
- 31:11Speaker 6: What?
- 31:12Speaker 2: You're right.
- 31:12Speaker 6: What happened? And then they all lied to us.
- 31:16Speaker 7: No, no, no.
- 31:17Speaker 6: It's not from the shot. It's not from the back.
- 31:20Speaker 6: Guess what? 99.9% it is from the shot. And I
- 31:25Speaker 6: got the shot. I'm not saying everybody dies from it.
- 31:28Speaker 6: I'm saying if Fauci and DeMar Hamlin fell on the
- 31:32Speaker 6: floor and had to go to the hospital, and then
- 31:35Speaker 6: the creepiest part is Fauci never told us that he
- 31:38Speaker 6: went to the hospital.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Well, like he got the Moderna. Moderma shot or Moderma.
- 31:44Speaker 3: He got that shot and he had complications for it
- 31:46Speaker 3: and he got COVID, but he, but you never knew that,
- 31:49Speaker 3: you know, it now because of the diary, you know,
- 31:51Speaker 3: that he was, he's evil. He was a liar. He
- 31:53Speaker 3: was funding this and he will not be held accountable.
- 31:57Speaker 3: And so he will get, he will totally get away
- 31:59Speaker 3: with it. He will totally escape. The only good thing
- 32:02Speaker 3: about what's going on. Is the information is getting out
- 32:05Speaker 3: there so people that have an open mind can hear
- 32:07Speaker 3: it and say, boy, how wrong this is. I don't
- 32:11Speaker 3: understand any of the Democrats just totally ignoring it or
- 32:15Speaker 3: going along with it. All Americans should be outraged at
- 32:18Speaker 3: what Fauci did, what Fauci funded and the lies he
- 32:20Speaker 3: told and the consequences that people suffered.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Appreciate it, Jake.
- 32:25Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 32:25Speaker 7: All right. You're on the air.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Hello.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Yes. Yes.
- 32:32Speaker 4: I remember a COVID story.
- 32:34Speaker 8: When I realized COVID, something was up. We all went
- 32:38Speaker 8: through the mask and six-foot nonsense for a long time.
- 32:43Speaker 8: I traveled down to Nashville, Tennessee with my mask, got
- 32:46Speaker 8: off the plane. My wife, we're walking around. I looked
- 32:51Speaker 8: at my wife. I said, notice anything different down here?
- 32:54Speaker 8: She's like, nobody has a mask on.
- 32:56Speaker 4: I go, yeah, you're right.
- 32:57Speaker 8: We go out to dinner that night on Broadway, Friday night.
- 33:02Speaker 8: Not a mask to be seen. Thousands of people.
- 33:04Speaker 4: I look at my wife. I said, what is going on?
- 33:06Speaker 8: From that moment on, I knew there was something going on,
- 33:09Speaker 8: and I think we've all figured it out.
- 33:11Speaker 4: Pretty sad.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Well, once again, Fauci is evil.
- 33:15Speaker 3: The lies, the deceptions, what he was saying publicly and
- 33:18Speaker 3: what he was saying privately, and he will not be
- 33:21Speaker 3: held accountable.
- 33:23Speaker 7: That's the shame of all of it.
- 33:25Speaker 8: A person will have zero responsibility for the lives that
- 33:29Speaker 8: he affected and will continue to affect in the future.
- 33:32Speaker 4: It's very sad.
- 33:33Speaker 2: Have a great day, Ron. Thank you.
- 33:35Speaker 3: Here's the reality. COVID is a real thing. COVID wasn't
- 33:41Speaker 3: just a cold or any of this nonsense. COVID was
- 33:44Speaker 3: created in this lab. It was a real thing. And
- 33:48Speaker 3: it really did kill a lot of people.
- 33:54Speaker 7: And those people died alone.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Without their family members at their side in a hospital
- 34:00Speaker 3: or a nursing home. Those people were denied care that
- 34:05Speaker 3: could have been effective in helping them survive.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Ivermectin, hydrochloroquine.
- 34:12Speaker 3: Things that were effective but were blackballed because of the
- 34:16Speaker 3: lies being told. The doctors that were fighting the battle
- 34:21Speaker 3: were being blackballed and threatened. I don't care if you're
- 34:28Speaker 3: a Democrat or Republican as an American. You need to
- 34:32Speaker 3: know this information and you should be so offended by
- 34:36Speaker 3: what's Fauci funded that this went to China and the
- 34:44Speaker 3: cover-up that took place and the lies that took place
- 34:49Speaker 3: and the fact that nobody is going to be held
- 34:52Speaker 3: accountable for it.
- 34:54Speaker 4: No one.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Whether that's the complications from the vaccine or the complications
- 35:00Speaker 3: and death from COVID. Because there are people that got
- 35:03Speaker 3: COVID that didn't die that have long-term effects. So we
- 35:08Speaker 3: know there are people that have COVID that have long-term effects.
- 35:12Speaker 3: We know there are people that had the vaccine and
- 35:14Speaker 3: had died and also have long-term effects. And I'm telling you,
- 35:22Speaker 3: that guy to me is absolutely a creep.
- 35:26Speaker 2: He is evil.
- 35:28Speaker 3: And he will not pay a price for it at all.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Joe Biden gave him a pardon, probably knowing that when
- 35:36Speaker 3: he left office, this information would come out. And Fauci's
- 35:41Speaker 3: like offended that his own thoughts are coming out that
- 35:44Speaker 3: he wrote on government computers that contradict what he was
- 35:48Speaker 3: saying publicly and show him to be the fraud and
- 35:50Speaker 3: liar that he is.
- 35:52Speaker 2: You're on the air.
- 35:56Speaker 4: Hello.
- 35:57Speaker 6: Hello, Ron.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Yes.
- 35:59Speaker 8: You're talking about the liar, the cheater, cost us money,
- 36:03Speaker 8: cost us lives.
- 36:04Speaker 5: Who are you talking about?
- 36:05Speaker 2: You're talking about Trump?
- 36:07Speaker 3: You could talk about Trump. You could talk about just
- 36:11Speaker 3: about any politician. But in this case, I'm talking about Fauci.
- 36:16Speaker 4: Oh, okay, because..
- 36:18Speaker 5: The things that like G2 said, stuff like that about
- 36:21Speaker 5: no inflation and it's Trump, not Fauci.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Oh, no, there's huge inflation going on. And the inflation
- 36:28Speaker 3: that's going on is because of this war and the
- 36:30Speaker 3: decision that Trump made. And it's a big mistake. And
- 36:33Speaker 3: I think it will come back to bite Trump and
- 36:34Speaker 3: haunt Trump.
- 36:35Speaker 7: As it should.
- 36:36Speaker 2: It was his decision. He made it.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Well, you know, people can say, well, he was coaxed
- 36:41Speaker 3: into it by Netanyahu or Israel or who knows if
- 36:45Speaker 3: they have something on him. But he made the final
- 36:47Speaker 3: decision to go down this road when we had gas
- 36:50Speaker 3: prices down to 250. Things were going in the right direction.
- 36:53Speaker 3: And in the blink of an eye, based on that decision,
- 36:56Speaker 3: things got reversed for the worse. And now they're trying
- 36:59Speaker 3: to say, how do we get out of this mess
- 37:01Speaker 3: we created? And it is a mess that he created
- 37:05Speaker 3: and it has added to inflation. Added on top of
- 37:08Speaker 3: the inflation that we already had. It's a damn shame.
- 37:11Speaker 3: But in this case, we're talking about the lies that
- 37:13Speaker 3: Fauci was telling publicly and what he wrote privately and
- 37:18Speaker 3: the people that died as a result.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Well, again, I blame it on Trump because he's the
- 37:22Speaker 5: one who hired.
- 37:23Speaker 7: Fauci, right?
- 37:24Speaker 3: No, I don't think he hired Fauci. I think Fauci's
- 37:27Speaker 3: been in a career in that position for decades.
- 37:32Speaker 8: But he was put to the top by Trump.
- 37:35Speaker 3: I don't know if he split that top, and I
- 37:37Speaker 3: think he was in charge of that organization. He's a doctor,
- 37:41Speaker 3: but he's a career bureaucrat in that position for years
- 37:44Speaker 3: and years and years.
- 37:45Speaker 5: When it came to the COVID thing, though, who put him.
- 37:50Speaker 8: In charge of that?
- 37:52Speaker 3: No, he would be in charge of that, the National
- 37:54Speaker 3: Institute of Health. I mean, he's in charge.
- 37:57Speaker 2: They're in charge.
- 37:58Speaker 7: That's what they do.
- 38:03Speaker 3: I mean, the bottom line is, listen, I don't care
- 38:05Speaker 3: what your– you can blame Trump for everything, but in
- 38:08Speaker 3: this case, it's about Fauci. Fauci made these decisions, and
- 38:12Speaker 3: Fauci did this stuff, and he will not be held
- 38:14Speaker 3: accountable because he's been pardoned. So nothing will happen to him.
- 38:19Speaker 7: Nothing.
- 38:19Speaker 5: Did you hear about the guy down in– just went
- 38:22Speaker 5: to Nashville, and they walked out, and there's all these
- 38:24Speaker 5: people without wearing masks and all that stuff?
- 38:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 38:27Speaker 2: He just called.
- 38:28Speaker 4: It's their decision to wear masks.
- 38:30Speaker 8: It's their decision to do this, that, and the other thing.
- 38:33Speaker 5: So if they scare everybody, the politicians say, well, I'm
- 38:37Speaker 5: going to close the school down, or I'm not going
- 38:38Speaker 5: to do it here, or I'm going to do it online,
- 38:40Speaker 5: or I'm going to do this. It was somebody else
- 38:42Speaker 5: who made that decision. Now, Fauci said this, and everything's
- 38:46Speaker 5: going to be fine, or it's really.
- 38:48Speaker 6: Bad, and you can't do this.
- 38:50Speaker 8: It's up to you whether you're going to pull the
- 38:52Speaker 8: kids out of school on a snowy.
- 38:54Speaker 5: Day or a COVID day or whatever you're.
- 38:57Speaker 2: Going to do.
- 38:58Speaker 3: So just so we get it clear, folks, after you
- 39:01Speaker 3: saw yesterday's testimony, you don't think Fauci had anything to
- 39:04Speaker 3: do with this? I want to clarify this to our
- 39:07Speaker 3: listeners after we all saw what we saw take place yesterday.
- 39:11Speaker 3: You don't think Fauci's responsible.
- 39:12Speaker 2: For any of this?
- 39:15Speaker 4: Of course he is.
- 39:15Speaker 5: So is every other politician that said, don't do this,
- 39:18Speaker 5: don't do that.
- 39:18Speaker 3: But who was in charge? Who was in charge? Who
- 39:22Speaker 3: guided those decisions?
- 39:24Speaker 4: I'm going to go with Trump.
- 39:25Speaker 5: Because he could have fired Fauci any time. And Biden
- 39:28Speaker 5: could have got rid of Fauci any time.
- 39:31Speaker 7: But they didn't now, did they?
- 39:33Speaker 5: No.
- 39:34Speaker 2: So, okay.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Thanks. I mean, that call's just bizarre. I don't even
- 39:38Speaker 3: know how you can come to that conclusion after you
- 39:40Speaker 3: watched Fauci yesterday.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Back in a minute. Good Wednesday morning.
- 39:50Speaker 7: Longstown's news, weather, and talk station, 570 WKBN.
- 39:55Speaker 2: Oh, mercy.
- 39:55Speaker 3: 3.55 in the afternoon. We're on Verb News Radio, 570 WKBN. Thursday,
- 40:00Speaker 3: July 30th, 83 degrees, and you're on the air.
- 40:05Speaker 10: Hey there, good afternoon.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Yes, sir.
- 40:08Speaker 10: Yeah, kicking back and forth pretty rough on that. Thought
- 40:11Speaker 10: you walked into a kangaroo court. It should have never
- 40:16Speaker 10: been Rand Paul. I think it would have ran smoother.
- 40:19Speaker 10: But he pleaded the fifth. He can do that. But
- 40:23Speaker 10: who's going to get stuck with the East Wing now?
- 40:28Speaker 10: The taxpayers of the United States are going to get
- 40:31Speaker 10: stuck paying for that East Wing. With all them people
- 40:33Speaker 10: he said it was going to contribute to building.
- 40:35Speaker 3: I've got to tell you, the least of my concerns,
- 40:37Speaker 3: and I'm just going to be straightforward with you, is
- 40:40Speaker 3: the East Wing. I don't want to say that it's insignificant,
- 40:45Speaker 3: but it's insignificant. I am genuinely deeply disturbed by what
- 40:50Speaker 3: I saw yesterday with Fauci. And Rand Paul has been
- 40:53Speaker 3: on this all along because he is a doctor. And
- 40:56Speaker 3: I think Rand Paul has an understanding of it. And
- 40:59Speaker 3: so I don't think it was a kangaroo court. I
- 41:02Speaker 3: think it's seeking the truth, which I think you deserve
- 41:06Speaker 3: to know. So I think this is a vital thing to... unravel,
- 41:12Speaker 3: even though nothing will come from it. But that is
- 41:15Speaker 3: what I'm concerned about in this war in Iran is
- 41:18Speaker 3: what I'm concerned about in where energy is headed.
- 41:21Speaker 7: Now, those are the those are I hate to say it.
- 41:23Speaker 3: Those are the only two things that that disturb me
- 41:25Speaker 3: on a national level. But right now, on a national level,
- 41:29Speaker 3: if I if I vented to you, I would say
- 41:31Speaker 3: to you, I am one pissed off American based on
- 41:35Speaker 3: Fauci and my government's And you've been around as long
- 41:40Speaker 3: as I have.
- 41:41Speaker 7: You remember the.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Lies that took place during Vietnam and Agent Orange.
- 41:44Speaker 7: Do you not?
- 41:45Speaker 3: When perfectly healthy people went and they came back with
- 41:49Speaker 3: cancers that weren't in the family and the government denied
- 41:52Speaker 3: for years. And you can remember it, that Agent Orange
- 41:55Speaker 3: had anything to do with it. They denied it, these
- 41:59Speaker 3: guys died, and they continued to deny it until they
- 42:01Speaker 3: couldn't any longer. Do you remember that deception that was
- 42:04Speaker 3: pulled back in those days?
- 42:06Speaker 10: I have three friends that... Or in high school that
- 42:09Speaker 10: died from it. And I understand what you're saying.
- 42:11Speaker 2: All right.
- 42:13Speaker 3: And now there's no doubt in my mind that what
- 42:18Speaker 3: Fauci did killed a lot of people. COVID killed a
- 42:23Speaker 3: lot of people. There's people with long-term effects from it.
- 42:27Speaker 3: And the vaccine killed a lot of people and have
- 42:29Speaker 3: a lot of long-term effects. And I'm telling you that
- 42:33Speaker 3: man is evil. And he's going to get away with it.
- 42:38Speaker 2: They're all going to get away with it.
- 42:40Speaker 3: That's so damn deeply disturbing to me. I can't tell you.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Stand by for me, all right? Just hang in there
- 42:47Speaker 3: for a minute. I'll come back to him, pick up
- 42:49Speaker 3: my conversation in a minute.
