- 0:00[SPEAKER_16]: come see what Charlie's been hand-bicking here at FX Cooper, our family owned for 52 years.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_23]: ABC News, I'm Sheri Preston, a signing ceremony for the Iran U.S. memorandum of understanding, ending fighting in the Middle East is now set for Friday in Switzerland.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_23]: ABC's Karen Travers is in the French Alps where the G7 summit is happening this week.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_23]: She has more on the deal.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_12]: The fate of Iran's nuclear program is still to be negotiated, but the president said today that that stage could actually be easier as he put it than the stages so far.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_14]: But we have a deal that's a fair deal that's a good deal.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_12]: There are still some important questions left unanswered about the unfreezing of Iran's assets, the lifting of sanctions.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_23]: And whether the deal includes Israel pulling back from areas of Lebanon, Israel says it will not do that.
- 1:00[SPEAKER_23]: Oil prices falling back below $80 a barrel for the first time since early March.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_23]: Law enforcement officials say they disrupted planned attacks meant to target the UFC Cage match at the White House on Sunday, five people are currently under arrest.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_23]: This is ABC News.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_23]: But now that the Iran deal is about to be made public, a lot of folks are wondering when we'll start to see gas prices come down significantly.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_23]: That's still unclear, but when it comes to other items affected by inflation, you might not see changes there for sometimes, as ABC's Elizabeth Shulsey.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: Airlines have said that fairs won't drop this summer to man for travel has stayed strong even with those higher ticket prices and other businesses that we've been talking to from brochures to farmers do tell us that they are still paying those fuel surcharges as we've seen with overall inflation prices can go very quickly and then it can take time for them to come back down.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_23]: The Grammys are adding five new categories for the 2026 awards.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_23]: Prices will now be given to best Asian pop performance category, best R&B collaboration, best traditional pop performance, best traditional folk performance, and best Latin song, alterations will also be made to the best new artist category, allowing artists to submit four times up from three.

- 4:54[SPEAKER_15]: LA Quarry, the destination for all your crushed limestone in the North Country, and Watertown Appliance, the proud studio sponsor for the Hot Line with Jeff Graham.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_09]: The Hot Line with Jeff Graham, right here!
- 5:06[SPEAKER_09]: I'm sitting here in the studio and there's a freeze ball table right outside my door what's that doing here some rock band was a big boss out front a rock band in the building i don't know who they are but uh... i don't know where the freeze ball player came from it looks kind of neat you know that's a funny game because i remember that in the seventies and i was in college and uh... very popular but we tried having it in the bar and teen times back in the eighties and ninies it never really took off
- 5:37[SPEAKER_09]: They like cornhole now.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_09]: We have cornhole, free cornhole, um, but, uh, not food's ball.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_09]: Pool.
- 5:44[SPEAKER_09]: That's a hearty perennial every year.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_09]: Darts does well too.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_09]: Another thing, you might have realized because if you are not out in the scene, um, video games, they were big for a while.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_11]: Not anymore.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_09]: And pinball was big, back.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, god.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_09]: for quite a while and nothing now.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_09]: And then the other one was like, Pac-Man, tabletop games, nothing.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_09]: Basically, in the modern age, I think, pooled arts, and that's it, that's it.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, don't forget early voting is going on.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_09]: I meant to check with our commissioner about how many, but I did check with Ryan McDougall about how many people were voting up there and he says, they have two voting ones in Ogden'sburg and Hotstim.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_09]: And plus the county building, you vote, absolutely there.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_09]: But he said, very light turnout, very light.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_09]: Like a couple of people in Ogden'sburg and all that, we're he voted.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_09]: So, and they have a big Democratic primary.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_09]: So, and then you've got the Republican primary for NY-21, and then the Democratic primary for NY-24, which is most of Jefferson County, including the City of Watertown.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_09]: I've got this guy who out there says, who does talk about the, you know, this affects local people.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_09]: And I got somebody I know who's a Democrat, and I was kind of urging her to go phone, but who's running, I said, oh, oh, oh.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_09]: Now, I know you're going to disagree with this or somebody will, but there's a woman named Alyssa Elman and Diana Castenbaum, and I think they're from the Canna-Degro at the Batavia area, somewhere in there.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_09]: One of them is some kind of retired military, the other one is a business woman.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_09]: Now, we're a city of water towns, the biggest single municipality in the 21st, fourth congressional district.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_09]: Neither of these people has made even a perfunctory phone call to say, hey, my name is uh... at least an element i'm running for congress in a democratic primary can we chat for five minutes ten minutes i'd say yeah sure and i'm not going to sit there and interrupt them or do any of them say what they want but they're not serious candidates yeah they don't do the very basics
- 8:10[SPEAKER_09]: So Democrats, you can't move out and vote, but you're going to say, well, who are these?
- 8:14[SPEAKER_09]: I like the name at least, that better than the name Diana's all vote.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_09]: That's what I would do, or I looked up their pictures to see if one of them's decidedly more fetching than the other, but I didn't see a lot of difference there.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_09]: So Democrats, get out and vote today.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_09]: All Jefferson County registered Democrats can vote in the primary.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_09]: Go down to the county building.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, one seventy five arsenal street cash your ballot.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_14]: I had an employee of mine went down yesterday to cast her ballot.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_09]: I won't say which party or anything like that, but she said she was the only one there six o'clock and the people looked very lonely.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_09]: Like nobody's been in all day type lonely.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_09]: So this primary is going to be different.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_09]: And there was a lot of insight.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_09]: If there was a Fred Dicker in Watertown, which there isn't, there was a lot of insight you could call from Roger Stone's interview yesterday.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, Roger Stone.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_09]: OK. Look at up.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_09]: But I think one of his big statements was when he said, Constantino was on an independent line.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_09]: And even if you were to lose, I don't know, not expected, but he'd run on.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_09]: It could spend $10 million doing it.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_09]: That'd be good for us.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_09]: We broadcast this.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_09]: When somebody says they're going to spend $10 million on a congressional race, you should see the salivating in the front office.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, they get all that oil.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_09]: That's like a matter from heaven for those people.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_09]: But it, you know, that'd be great.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_09]: Good for the economy.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_09]: It creates jobs.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_09]: 75, 5, 12, 40 are for a number if you'd like to get on the air.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_09]: Speaking of money, you know, the city counts at home.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_09]: Staff and everyone so proud over the bids and naming the arena for $20,000 a year.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_09]: They're going to vote out and approve it and declare themselves fiscal wizards.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_09]: So anyway, this young lady dropped by and she was very nice from the Watertown Wolves.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_09]: a hockey team now.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_09]: The previous wolves people took off and left town.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_09]: Apparently there's somebody else that says that the water town wolves haven't seen, I don't see any contract between the city and them, but they don't have to do that.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_09]: So I see that they're selling inner arena advertising.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_09]: They'll, you can put your logo on the Zamboni.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_09]: That's a piece of city
- 10:59[SPEAKER_09]: the selling space on our zamboni do I blame them for doing it good business if you take whatever you can for all the dash reports now selling the program cover and all of that and that's fine that's often what's done with selling space on our zamboni oh my god i want to put my logo on a fire truck and to give me a hundred bucks i'll just put it on
- 11:26[SPEAKER_09]: Come on, man, did they know this is going on?
- 11:30[SPEAKER_09]: Then they've got, hey, I'll digital advertising all of that.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_09]: That's fine, I mean, I don't have a problem with that and we're selling a lot of merch, that's fine.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_09]: But when I saw $10,000 to put a logo on the Zamboni, I said, well, Jesus is there, is there any end to the naivete at City Hall when it comes to business?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_09]: the people who sold five out of eighteen t-box signs it's a golf club even though the golf club was packed over the weekend except for the rain i don't know a lot of you are practicing well you know that's just how they do it for drama good god uh... anyway and again i mean if they're selling on the teams uniforms and that's fine
- 12:22[SPEAKER_09]: That's fair game.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_09]: But what's this, what do these people paying to use the arena?
- 12:26[SPEAKER_09]: We don't know.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_09]: We don't know.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_09]: I sent a picture of that Zamboni thing to show, and if he was the big thing, oh, we're going to sell the name of the arena.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_09]: Well, that joke.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_09]: 755, 1240 is the phone number.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_09]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows today, talk about whatever you want within the bounds of good taste.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_09]: Jefferson County did not make the list of top 10 counties in the state to live
- 12:52[SPEAKER_09]: Nope, it was in the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_09]: It was a story there and I don't know.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know how they compile us.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_09]: Nassau County came out on top.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_09]: Nassau is on Long Island, where Hamstead is, it's between Brooklyn Queens and Suffolk.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_09]: I would thought Suffolk could be better because you've got some Loddy dies out there, but nope, they said Nassau was the best county in the state.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_09]: Jefferson didn't make that list.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_02]: That's okay.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_09]: We like it here.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_09]: Now that lady who called yesterday, and incidentally, Judge Harborson's celebration of life, if he wants to call back in and mention the date name again, that was this weekend.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_09]: That's a good thing to go to.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_09]: Good man, good man.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_09]: That nice lady, Kerry Stevens, who's collecting money for,
- 13:47[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, pay in the city, uh, they're up to $5,900, they want $50,000.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_09]: There's two sides, I look at that, and I'd like to carry very much.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_09]: She's a wonderful, wonderful person.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_09]: I look at it two ways.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_09]: One is, it's a good thing to give to, on the other thing, why reward these people?
- 14:09[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_09]: Who gave themselves a raise,
- 14:15[SPEAKER_09]: while they were in instituting a charge for kids to swim in the same year.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not talking about city council, we've, we've suitably denigrated those offices, I'm talking about the six figure gang.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_09]: It's something.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, I don't know, it's a different world.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_09]: 755, 1240, the phone number, if it'd like to give us a call to be on the show of shows.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know what they're doing.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know who these two bands are who came in the building and the reading pizza from cams and they got a foosball table out there and they closed my door, they closed my door.
- 14:56[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_09]: So I'm in this room all alone and no, no, income in a cot or I hope it doesn't overheat in there.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_09]: I'll ask, what's going on?
- 15:08[SPEAKER_09]: eating pizza.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_09]: I would eat pizza, but I just ate, grab something to eat on my way in, so I'm not going to.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_09]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_11]: How are you doing?
- 15:22[SPEAKER_09]: Beard, what's up?
- 15:23[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, not much, uh.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_09]: Just watching.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_11]: Listen to you talking, uh, I have to say I agree with you, um, the situation that's going on with, uh, with the recreation, um,
- 15:35[SPEAKER_11]: They really fumbled the ball and they are fumbled in the ball.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_11]: You know?
- 15:40[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, I listen to you guys when I listen to some old rodeo spots from back in 2015, when the race was going on with you.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_11]: And recreation was on the...
- 15:53[SPEAKER_11]: It was a subject being talked about.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_11]: And it's really sad that we're in the position that we're in right now inside the city that.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_11]: We have to charge our chance to swim.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_11]: and pools that the taxpayers paid for, you know, it's, it's crazy.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_11]: This is really a bit, really another, there's another issue behind the scenes too.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_11]: I'm surprised by people going out and getting donations to the way that they are.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_11]: And you don't have some,
- 16:34[SPEAKER_11]: We can't have the volunteers, we can't do that.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_11]: They don't have insurance, and that'd be taken away from the public employee unions and stuff like that.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_11]: I'm surprised somebody hasn't said something yet, or someone hasn't said something about the North Country Foundation, because they're collecting money as well.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_09]: Well, yes, they are, and you know, I'm hesitant to say too much because I appreciate the fact that Randy Richardson is doing that.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_09]: I appreciate the fact that Terry Stevens is helping to collect the money, but I just think it's rewarding these people for what's going on.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm not talking about the council.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_09]: We've, those people have been so devalued and you know, said, well, you know, this and that, no, it's the rest of the whole establishment.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_11]: 430 city limit sign in my rearview mirror get me out of here people yeah you can't go like the old school booster clump way and have you know booster clump take care of stuff anymore because if you were to do that inside the city school district then you got the and why ask you key that wants to you know that last year to be the pie it's crazy there's no such thing is really volunteering
- 17:50[SPEAKER_11]: collecting money for, you know, a good cause for children.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_11]: You just really can't do it anymore.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_11]: You know?
- 17:58[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I mean you can, but I mean, the best thing you could do is to stand up there and just with a stack full of $1 bills and give three of them to everybody as they're going in.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_09]: And, you know, some kids who are swimming kind of, kind of forward it, their families can afford it, but usually those people have pools in their backyard, so
- 18:17[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:22[UNKNOWN]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, the old days of the democracy of public recreation.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_11]: I don
- 18:44[SPEAKER_11]: You know, I'm just tired of hearing the gloom and doom about how terrible it is here and how much you know, it's crazy and then you got then you got Jefferson County legislative, you know, all, you know, they want to blame everything on the city council, but they have their own problems.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_07]: Really?
- 19:05[SPEAKER_11]: And they don't want to stop in and help all when they when they should.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_11]: Why wouldn't they want to biggest city in the county doing well?
- 19:12[SPEAKER_11]: Why do they want them to be talked about in such a manner that they are?
- 19:16[SPEAKER_11]: Why wouldn't they stop there now?
- 19:19[SPEAKER_11]: Well, no thanks for taking my time.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_09]: All right, thank you.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_09]: You know, I think in many ways they do.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_09]: And they recognize the importance of the city.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm not here to suck up to them because they're all mostly town people.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_09]: And I don't think the city count legislators had a
- 19:38[SPEAKER_09]: You know, a great moment when they went after Jake there on that butterfield thing, but the bigger story is you can't ask people for money unless you have something to offer.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_09]: You can't just go there with a tin cup and say, give me money.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_09]: It's like the person standing at the front door at the 7-11 at 2 in the morning, begging for money.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_09]: All it does is scarier and you don't need that.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_09]: You have to have, if to say, well, we've got a plan and we're doing this and we're creating a regional asset.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_09]: And it would be advantageous for the county to get involved with that.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_09]: But you can't just say, we don't want to raise taxes, and can you just make up the difference?
- 20:24[SPEAKER_09]: You can't.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, that statement doesn't even make sense.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_09]: And that's what some of these people are asking.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_09]: And so we got a lot of assets there.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_09]: Beautiful things.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_09]: You know, over the weekend, I had somebody wrote me a text, they'd been through the park, and everything was.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_09]: being used in picnics and golf and zoos and pools and all of that and that's great we'd love to see it we'd love to see it and you know maybe we should have it like an easy past thing as it go in it'll charge us I don't know but I think that's a great great asset but it's not marketed or run in a way that's you know reflects
- 21:11[SPEAKER_09]: It's a doff.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_14]: I thought you did a great job, and now you've been told me, I don't think they thought Glenn did too, and the nice thing was Glenn asked different questions and you did.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_09]: Mm-hmm.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_14]: Which was good, because he, yes, some, even some tough ones about, you know, the arrest and all that kind of stuff.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_14]: I thought was pretty good.
- 21:32[SPEAKER_09]: Well, you know, and unfortunately,
- 21:36[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, some of the things Roger had to say, which some of it was reminiscing.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_09]: I get that, but he made some important statements politically, but unfortunately, there's no Fred Dickers in water town to report on it.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_09]: So, you know, that.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_14]: Well, you got no reporters, yes.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_14]: Right.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_14]: Don't, don't patronize anybody.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_14]: You have people who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who, who
- 22:03[SPEAKER_14]: the pool situation.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_14]: I think everybody should donate.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_14]: I did.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, I think I have good memories of the time or time, some park pool.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_14]: But I'm wondering if people from outside the city donate or the people outside the city are going to be able to go in?
- 22:20[SPEAKER_09]: Well, they should be.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_09]: And that, you know, I've thought through this insight outside stuff, given the way the city is funded and the variety of sources of income beyond property tax and sales tax and all that,
- 22:34[SPEAKER_09]: I don't think you should have a bifurcated price system.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_09]: I think it's a violation of the 14th Amendment Equal Protection under the law.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_09]: And I think it's wrong.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_09]: And I've been involved in these discussions many times about worrying about whether there's somebody's in the city and the problem is, if Duff goes up to a pool,
- 22:54[SPEAKER_09]: I got to sit there and pay somebody 25 bucks an hour 30 bucks an hour with benefits or more to sit there and determine whether you're an in-city guy and what you should know and collect the money and then as we found out a few years ago with the arena they put people's checks and a drawer and left them there forever and I just think it's silly.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah and I agree with you that it's but the kids get caught in the middle but I agree
- 23:23[SPEAKER_14]: that you shouldn't be rewarding the city.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_14]: The city, the council that was elected by the people, whether you agree, of course, I disagree with it.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_14]: But whether you did agree to disagree, they voted to build that pool and voted to do the other pool.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_09]: Right.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_14]: And they did it with the attention that it wouldn't cost kids anything to go.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_14]: So, you know, I mean, cut somebody else's hours, you know, or don't hire a fourth person
- 23:53[SPEAKER_14]: And let's just swim for the summer for God's sake.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_09]: How about we sell space on the life guards bathing suit to put your logo to raise money?
- 24:04[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, that's yeah, that's, you know, or, or ask for volunteers to be like guards that are, that are certified, you know what I mean?
- 24:13[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I don't think, you know, everybody says volunteer, there's volunteer that, you know, nobody works for nothing anymore, or they, and never.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_14]: But what happens is you can't take it down the job.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, you say that, but every every baseball coach in the city of Watertown But yeah, but that's different.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, but that's different.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, but no, because it's only a couple hours here and there Practice isn't that kind of thing.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_09]: No, there's people Everybody says I'm not in it for the money and that just leaves the whole system to the people who are in it for the money and no, I mean, you know You got life cards life cards are to me the life cards are like firemen.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_09]: You got to pay them
- 24:52[SPEAKER_14]: Because when you bear us just to charge I think you'll give you an example if you go to Boomville they've got a lifeguard there at that time they have next to root 12 mm-hmm No they don't charge to get in Boomville you talk about a town that's been devastated mm-hmm you know Boomville's one of them he's nothing I mean for turn you know what I mean they've got a new water tower
- 25:24[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that was a good video of taking that one down.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_14]: I thought that was interesting.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, so I don't know if I go to a vote this week, what am I going down up here?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_14]: I tried to go on the line to find out what what offices are and then there's nobody running against 10 as far as a primary.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_14]: So what am I going to do?
- 25:47[SPEAKER_09]: nothing because you live in the 20 you live in the 24th and you're Republican.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, but I'm saying if you have any Democrats in your family or friends.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, any friends.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_14]: I used to until they all turn nuts.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_14]: Well, I'm just saying that I'm serious.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_14]: Every one of my kids no matter I do register Democrat when they graduate in high school.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_14]: Okay.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_14]: Three, one of them now is not
- 26:17[SPEAKER_14]: but they're involved in politics where they live right because they're fed up mm-hmm you think that the young people don't care about the telly shop that the ones that you care are involved believe it oh I know yeah yeah anyway but yeah no there's no democrat I don't know if any democrats I got a couple of friends who call this show that our democrats and listen to the show mm-hmm get upset sometimes
- 26:43[SPEAKER_14]: I blame all our woes on the Democrats, but there's a lot of it that's their fault.
- 26:48[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, well that's true, that's true.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_14]: And then what it gets me is, what books are how out of me is these people that just think that Franklin Delner Roosevelt was the greatest guy he got us out of the depression.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_14]: Do you realize that the depression lasts until 1950?
- 27:06[SPEAKER_09]: I understand there's a lot of people didn't, some didn't like Roosevelt.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_09]: They call it a Roosevelt.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_09]: Well, listen, certain people in history become venerated and, and yes, I mean, we look at A Blinken and we look at Washington, hopefully, and FDR and certain certain President Reagan as iconic.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_09]: We don't sit there and muse about Chester A. Arthur or William Henry Harrison.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, they were probably nice guys, but there was a tiny little guy.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, didn't he have the pneumonia and died after a month?
- 27:45[SPEAKER_14]: yet while he's gave a three hour speech in the freezing cold and he's seeing got in the morning.
- 27:53[SPEAKER_09]: Exactly.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_09]: To see where they tried to, they had this plan to blow up or shoot a bunch of people at the UFC thing the other night thankfully that got broken up.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_14]: And you know that's the other thing.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_14]: The people making fun of that.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_14]: I mean there's a large group of people that really enjoyed it.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_14]: How about the thing that Biden put out?
- 28:13[SPEAKER_14]: Nobody talks about that.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_09]: and never never said it was disgraceful all with the trainees and all that and they're a flash in and all that kind of stuff yeah that's okay but yeah i guess remember the video of him on juneteenth and twenty twenty four there's that guy in a dress like dancing next to him and and and Biden looked like chromatose he couldn't move like he's having a stroke is a terrorist was dancing in uh... the other person here
- 28:42[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I was watching a video today of President Biden with Jay Leno and they were driving cars and stuff.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_09]: That was kind of entertaining, I mean, that was, you know, Biden was, he was a person of all guy years earlier, worthy of life.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, when he was a senator and all that kind of stuff, I mean, yeah.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_09]: And he even had reasonable views until he wanted to be president and he had to couch out of the, you know, what's?
- 29:09[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah, the real less, less, less leaning wing of the party.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_09]: Gotcha.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_14]: You see, homes at now.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_14]: I mean, you know, I still, I mean, I hate to admit it, but I thought I had like 10 of the, and there was a couple of the Democrats that I didn't mind.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_14]: Truman, I think, was probably one of the greatest for a great president, I thought.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_09]: You were a Grover Cleveland fan, weren't you?
- 29:31[SPEAKER_14]: Yeah.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_14]: But I mean, you can't compare Democrats today to them.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_09]: No.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_14]: And then I love when somebody says, uh, you got a caller to this show, he'll say, oh, I don't agree with that, but he isn't spoken out about it.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_14]: He's sitting there trying to, uh, get it back to a normal.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 29:48[UNKNOWN]: But yeah.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_09]: All right, well listen, Dough, I got to run.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_09]: All right.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_09]: But don't see you, I happy Juneteenth.
- 29:56[SPEAKER_09]: All right, thank you.

- 36:13[SPEAKER_09]: Now, somebody else also texted it in, let's have a cage dancer fundraiser to fund the pool.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I don't really know if that's a good idea.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, I don't have a cage.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know who does anymore.

- 37:32[SPEAKER_25]: Trump endorsed businessman Anthony Constantino delivered a commanding performance against career politician Robert Smullen.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_25]: Konstantino talked about creating American jobs, building a company with over 1,000 employees and standing up to Democrat boycotts in political attacks, all while self-funding his campaign to serve the people of New York's 21st district.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_25]: Small and appeared angry, defensive, and unprepared, but the most talked about moment came at the end.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_25]: After praising small and military service in his closing remarks, Konstantino walked over to shake his hand.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_25]: Smallen refused, turning his back in front of the entire audience.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_25]: Constantino later said, if he can't shake my hand, how can he work with people in Washington?
- 38:12[SPEAKER_25]: The contrast couldn't be clearer.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_25]: On June 23rd, vote for Anthony Constantino.

- 40:30[SPEAKER_15]: Thank you for listening to the station that listens to you.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_15]: The news in talk authority.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_15]: WATN.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_15]: M1240.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, I'm 1240.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_09]: I was just reminded by an astute listener.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_09]: And thank you.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_09]: The Democrats.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_09]: Everyone from within the sound of my voice can vote in a state Comptroller primary.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_09]: Comptroller Tom Denapoli.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_09]: is running for reelection, but he's got some opponents so you can vote in that too.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_09]: So if you're a Democrat, I'm wondering, and of course you got the congressional primary here in the city for the Democrats between Elisa, Elman, and Diana, and Diana Castenbaum, I would be willing to bet I'd be willing to bet a case of blue light.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_09]: that like John Hall and Desillus and all the rest of these big Democrat poobas don't even know who's running for Congress in this congressional district, but I hope they get out and vote for, and that's the funny thing about these primaries, you know, probably 500 Democrats will vote in it, and none of them know who's running, but they just pick a name.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_09]: And as far as Comptroller, I like Tom Denapoli, I always thought he was a decent sort of guy.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I met him back when he was on Assemblyman from Nassau County, and I thought he was very nice, very nice man.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_09]: So, is that an endorsement?
- 41:49[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, because I don't know who the opponents are.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_09]: I'm anxious and finding out more in the fall about this attorney general race, because you got a big tish there, big tish.
- 42:01[SPEAKER_09]: And some lady from India seems pretty smart, but
- 42:06[SPEAKER_09]: She's not, she's brown, but not as brown as tish.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_09]: So that, she can't win in New York.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_09]: And that's too bad.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_09]: But, um, and we, I'm going to actually talk about black and brown people, like they're different people.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_09]: You ever notice that?
- 42:23[SPEAKER_09]: I just look at them as people.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_09]: But today, they have to say brown people or black people, and the dreaded two male, two pale, two stale people who aren't white.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_09]: It's crazy.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_09]: But go vote in that primary.
- 42:40[SPEAKER_09]: Go to the county building.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_09]: It's for DMV.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_09]: You know where DMV is?
- 42:44[SPEAKER_09]: You go in there and you go upstairs a second floor.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_09]: They'll help you out.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_09]: There's even an elevator there.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_09]: And just cast a ballot.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_09]: Do something.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_09]: And I think.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm not, again, nobody's made us aware of it here.
- 42:59[SPEAKER_09]: But I think there's a Republican primary down in the Adams area for legislative district 10.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_09]: Is that the one with that guy named Spike?
- 43:08[SPEAKER_09]: Is that his name?
- 43:10[SPEAKER_09]: I like that one.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_09]: First of all, it's a great name.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_09]: I wish when I was running for office, my first name was Spike.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_09]: But in any event, that's going on down there and Adams.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_09]: I assume that's what Adams, Rodman, Lorraine.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_09]: Now, early voting would be in water town if you'd have to come up here, but or you could wait until it's 23rd.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_09]: So that's what's going on.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_09]: But after do you're on the air?
- 43:38[SPEAKER_13]: Hey, Jeff, I hand your block there, you're having a hard time believing that Michelle Obama is a man.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_09]: I do, she is not a man.
- 43:49[SPEAKER_09]: And you know, this is nonsense.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_09]: So, well, first of all, there's two things.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_09]: One is, she's not.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_09]: And the second is, so what if she was?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_13]: Well, so what if she was would be that?
- 44:03[SPEAKER_13]: the deception to the American people to pass that off.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_13]: Well, what's the dislustion?
- 44:12[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, but at this late day, why don't you first of all, show some respect to the first lady past and present?
- 44:19[SPEAKER_09]: Um, I didn't agree with everything Michelle Obama said or did in her life, but I respect her.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_09]: I wouldn't sit there and if she walked in the studio right now, I wouldn't
- 44:33[SPEAKER_09]: right?
- 44:34[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, I would definitely.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_13]: Yeah, you would.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_13]: Mike out on that.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_09]: You would.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_09]: But I would.
- 44:40[SPEAKER_13]: There's other caller.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_13]: There's another caller that's been calling us on you for a few years about it.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_09]: Well, he, I, I let him on the air because he's entertaining because people who say stupid things is entertaining.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_09]: It's like Bradford said yesterday, this is all about being noticed.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_09]: It's all about being interesting.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_09]: It's nothing to do with content.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_13]: not on the mainstream media, then they for some reason don't believe it.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_13]: If the mainstream media no matter what side you're on, what structure do you mean?
- 45:10[SPEAKER_13]: If it tells you, you'll believe it.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_13]: Well guess what?
- 45:14[SPEAKER_13]: It's not original.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_13]: And you believe from either side.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_09]: So you believe the Obama daughters were like, they found them somewhere or what?
- 45:24[SPEAKER_13]: Yes, they just lent
- 45:29[SPEAKER_13]: be that perfect, you know, married couple with two daughters in the way house, you know, you know, how great is that for so way back in the 1990s.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_09]: So whenever those kids were born, this is the these two,
- 45:46[SPEAKER_09]: guys got together and said let's pretend you're a woman and and uh... will get two kids will find them somewhere and will raise them like other our kids and then run for president and two thousand eight i mean it doesn't make sense well it was a just that you have to understand that they were coached and they were pushed and yeah we're you know led into that well anyway how are things out market today
- 46:15[SPEAKER_13]: Why do you guys gotta keep wondering what I'm doing out here in Michigan?
- 46:18[SPEAKER_09]: Well that's a beautiful area.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not that familiar with the U.P.
- 46:22[SPEAKER_09]: I'd like to hear more about it.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_13]: The U.P.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_13]: is a very beautiful, beautiful area.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_13]: It's like the North Country, but I think it's nicer.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_09]: So, that's great.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_09]: Do you like your governor out there?
- 46:42[SPEAKER_13]: for that.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_13]: I mean, they got it right with the last election.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_13]: They devoted for Trump.
- 46:47[SPEAKER_13]: So that's good.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_09]: Well, big grat.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_09]: She's all right.
- 46:52[SPEAKER_09]: I think she's done now.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_09]: All right.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_09]: Thanks.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_09]: Anyway, 7, 5, 5, 12, 40, the phone number.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_09]: If you'd like to give us a hoot now or be on here, there's music in the background.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, there's a band in the next room.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_09]: Don't know what it's all about.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_09]: But
- 47:13[SPEAKER_09]: Hmm, see what else we've got here.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_09]: Nothing.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_09]: Nothing.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_13]: Oh, we got a call.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_09]: But after noon, you're on the air.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_10]: Hello, how's it going today, Mayor?
- 47:28[SPEAKER_09]: Good.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_09]: How are you?
- 47:29[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, I'm wonderful.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_10]: I had to call.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_09]: I know you're the guy.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_10]: I'm the guy that's been trying to tell you and they say,
- 47:43[SPEAKER_09]: You're basing that you basis on one piece of video where her pants were pulled of a certain way.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_10]: What about what their name they are told you that they were transgender and gay, and then they'll supposedly wound up their Joan Rivers.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_09]: Joan Rivers was trans?
- 48:04[SPEAKER_10]: No, no, no.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_10]: She was the first one to come out with that.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_10]: she said everybody knows that Michelle's a man named Michael Michael Robinson once again and the two children belong to the Nezbitz who are he was Obama's finance really when he ran for president yes they're Nezbitz very simple wow look and he's no listen two guys can't have a baby anyways right
- 48:39[SPEAKER_10]: that's called indoctrination.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, and they are teaching it.
- 48:42[SPEAKER_10]: Who's your superintendant up there?
- 48:45[SPEAKER_10]: Doesn't he wear an earring in his right ear?
- 48:47[SPEAKER_09]: Does he?
- 48:47[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_10]: I think maybe.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know what he wears.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_09]: I've never met the man.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_10]: Listen, I've got to straighten you out on this.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_10]: The problem is with the deception.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_10]: Nobody cares what you do at home or what your preference is.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_10]: but when you are lying to the public for folks right it's not the deed you did it's like water gate it's the cover up i get it well it's an exception and why well because you wouldn't vote it for me if you knew he was uh... you know of that persuasion some people wouldn't vote you know i had on another subject i had a woman
- 49:31[SPEAKER_09]: has kids in the Carthage school district and her third grader went to school this week wearing an Anthony Constantine O. T. shirt and it said Trump's name on it and they did not send the child home.
- 49:43[SPEAKER_09]: I don't they must not have known what they were looking at is normally if you went in there with a Trump T. shirt they'd send your own well and that they be open her lawsuit for that friend of mine.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_10]: actually whose child goes to that school had some problems like that and he threatened to sue him and they said they'd back right now.
- 50:05[SPEAKER_10]: Well, same thing happened.
- 50:08[SPEAKER_10]: T-shirt or a hat, something like that.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_10]: But it was a problem.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_09]: You see, I think I think it's not a bad thing if the kids are aware and you could use it as a quote, teachable moment.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_09]: It comes in with a, uh,
- 50:19[SPEAKER_09]: gender being t-shirt and you say well who is that guy well he's a running for congress and he's a farmer and talk about the same thing with constant you know you know because most of these kids getting out of the schools they don't they have no sense of civics all they know is it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's it's
- 50:47[SPEAKER_10]: 40 hours a week, ride the bus and work 40 hours a week, just an indoctrination, that's all going to be changing.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_10]: When this country goes to back to common law, you're going to see a lot of changes like these electric bicycles and everything else.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_10]: I got three tickets when I was a kid riding a motorcycle with no license.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_10]: Now you can ride down the road with a motorized thing and not need to be bothered.
- 51:11[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I know.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_09]: The city says they're going to regulate it.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_09]: You know, what are the cops going to do or kids on the site?
- 51:18[SPEAKER_09]: Did I?
- 51:19[SPEAKER_09]: How many people can you cuff and stuff in a day?
- 51:21[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, well, when you're going to find out the Constitution Trump's any anything that the state does, they cannot drop the Constitution.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_10]: That is the law of the land.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 51:37[SPEAKER_10]: Anyways, but the Obama thing, you guys, you've got to wake the hell up, man.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_10]: She's not a, she's not a,

- 55:27[SPEAKER_15]: Depend on.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_09]: There, Bandani.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_09]: You'll see a lot of stories on the news this weekend about the city.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_09]: Selling naming rights to the arena on Monday, Monday night's meeting and approving a resolution.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_09]: And basically he gives the manager the rights to negotiate with everyone.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_09]: Now, they don't want any involvement, but they want to say they're getting money.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_09]: But you'll never see anything on Channel 7 this weekend about selling logos on the Zam Boni for $10,000.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_09]: City gets nothing.
- 55:56[SPEAKER_09]: No, they're allowing this operator of a team, a hockey team in there.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_09]: To do that.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_09]: And I'm not against the hockey teams.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_09]: I don't care if they want to sell, you know, logos on uniforms and logos on this and that.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_09]: But she's a hell.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_09]: City gives away concessions, they give away naming, they give away everything.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_09]: And then they say, well, we got $20,000 for five years from the, putting some of these name on the arena, and then we'll pay for the sign a, oh, a Christ, come on, man.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: Come on, man.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_09]: Ah, just incredible to watch.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_09]: And I only say that because I just spent money improving my building, you know, we had that accident.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, the insurance paid to fix up the basics.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_09]: But I decided, well, you know, we need to do some more things that need to be done.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_09]: So I had a new awning put up in some other accoutrements and at my expense, and maybe I should put naming rights on the red balls out front, right?
- 57:01[SPEAKER_09]: I could sell naming rights there.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_09]: Good God.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_09]: How can we afford it?
- 57:11[SPEAKER_09]: How can we afford these people?
- 57:15[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_09]: I guess we can.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_09]: I guess we can.

- 57:44[SPEAKER_09]: Social media and video networks are more popular than both TV and news websites and apps.
- 57:51[SPEAKER_09]: Now, nobody knows what's going on anymore.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, God bless him with Channel 7, love him like a brother, but holy cow!
- 58:02[SPEAKER_09]: Nobody listens to anything anymore.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_09]: We live in the mode, we live in a huge news desert.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_09]: Now, stends from here to Kingdom Cumb.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I can see books revolting on their 58 million dollar budget.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_09]: They said, out there you refuse.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_09]: Out there you vote, no.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_09]: Maple City residents who are poor as dirt and moving out like flies.
- 58:26[SPEAKER_09]: Out there you vote, no.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_09]: Here's the same budget you vote again and dammit you better approve it.
- 58:33[SPEAKER_09]: And they will.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_25]: And they will.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_09]: Schumer is pushing a bill.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_09]: He says the lower grocery prices.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_09]: Oh my god.
- 58:42[SPEAKER_09]: Stop it.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_09]: Time to water down fire district looking to add two full-time positions.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_09]: They're getting the firecarines out there in the towns now.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_09]: They ain't going to have no town tax forever.
- 58:56[SPEAKER_09]: I think it's good to find with me.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_09]: I'd rather you know combine the fire service, have a cover a bigger area, but
- 59:06[SPEAKER_09]: hey a talent but that talent doesn't have any money they said the other day they said they didn't have no money hmm i can't figure out local government anymore i guess i'm just not and informed citizen so anyway um...
- 59:37[SPEAKER_09]: Let's see what's going on.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_09]: Is that it?
- 59:43[SPEAKER_09]: Nothing.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_09]: That's our show for today.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_09]: Glenn Currie will be in at five.
- 59:47[SPEAKER_09]: Hope he doesn't copy what I did today again.
- 59:50[SPEAKER_09]: And until then, I want to remind you, you're listening to the hotline.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_13]: And you're doing it on a community broadcast to station.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_09]: This is, of course, AM-1240, WATN.
- 59:59[SPEAKER_13]: Watertown.
