- 3:33Speaker 2: or not. Yeah, things have changing a lot. Things haven't
- 3:35Speaker 2: changed in the last ten minutes.
- 3:41Speaker 7: Yeah, that's okay, we're gonna We're gonna rip this ship.
- 3:44Speaker 2: Yeah. I feel like people get people get mad at
- 3:46Speaker 2: that we bank the episodes. But also it's really that
- 3:49Speaker 2: or zoom. There's no other options. Yeah, because everyone travels.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Everyone travels. Rone is a very highly in demand guy
- 4:00Speaker 2: at this company. He has another podcast with a very
- 4:06Speaker 2: troublesome NBA. Yeah, just a guy with a real attitude problem.
- 4:10Speaker 2: You're going on the road with those four Play guys,
- 4:13Speaker 2: great guys all around, Yes, respectable guys. But the thing is, yeah,
- 4:19Speaker 2: so we were gonna have to bank it anyway, but
- 4:20Speaker 2: you guys are both going on. You are both leaving tomorrow.
- 4:22Speaker 7: Dude, I gotta tell you something. There's so on this.
- 4:25Speaker 2: I'm here, I'm always here.
- 4:26Speaker 7: Four Play Trip. I'm just going to help with the
- 4:29Speaker 7: Barseol Classic because they're a little shorthanded. Frankie Ann Riggs
- 4:33Speaker 7: can't go to this one, so I'll be there with
- 4:36Speaker 7: Trent and Hannah Cook and some I guess some other people.
- 4:40Speaker 7: And Trent. Trent did something when we were out in
- 4:46Speaker 7: South Dakota, North Dakota that trip that just reminded me
- 4:51Speaker 7: of you. We were on the road for four days,
- 4:55Speaker 7: driving thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of miles and
- 5:01Speaker 7: really spending a lot of time together bonding, you know,
- 5:05Speaker 7: having each other's backs. We get to the last the
- 5:08Speaker 7: last night we're in North Dakota. We're in Bismarck and
- 5:13Speaker 7: we're all staying at an airbnb, just one house, you know,
- 5:18Speaker 7: bunk beds, bonding whatever. We pull the RV in, we
- 5:22Speaker 7: unload our crap, the RV takes off, and we figure
- 5:28Speaker 7: out where we're going to dinner. And it's the last
- 5:31Speaker 7: night of the trip. Tie a bow on this thing, celebration,
- 5:36Speaker 7: goodbye everyone, you know, it's been a great time. And
- 5:40Speaker 7: we're at the house and we're waiting for our ubers
- 5:43Speaker 7: and Trent goes, I'm not coming to dinner, and I
- 5:48Speaker 7: was like, what do you mean, and he is, ass,
- 5:51Speaker 7: I'm not going to go and you can't even ask
- 5:56Speaker 7: him why. He just I'm just I'm just not and
- 6:03Speaker 7: I've never been I've never had that be an answer
- 6:09Speaker 7: where for me to ask for more information would have
- 6:13Speaker 7: made me the asshole. But he stayed home and he
- 6:17Speaker 7: ordered a pizza delivered ate it. We got back, was chilling,
- 6:22Speaker 7: and that was it. The rest of us went out
- 6:24Speaker 7: to the final dinner and Trent wasn't there and it
- 6:29Speaker 7: was okay, and I asked Frank, it was like, does
- 6:33Speaker 7: that happen a lot? And he was like, yeah, sometimes
- 6:35Speaker 7: he's just not in the mood and he'll just tell
- 6:37Speaker 7: you I'm not going.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Well, I've never heard of that being I've never.
- 6:43Speaker 7: Dude, when I get out of something, the things that
- 6:47Speaker 7: I feel that I have to come up with to
- 6:51Speaker 7: justify to people why I'm not coming, it almost feels arrogant. Listen,
- 6:58Speaker 7: I'm so sorry, I can't make it. Unfortunately, I've had
- 7:03Speaker 7: a lot of deaths over the last seven or eight. Man.
- 7:08Speaker 2: You never seeing that old Dane Cook bit where he's
- 7:10Speaker 2: talking about the friend who invited him to the party
- 7:14Speaker 2: and he talks about it that he was and then
- 7:15Speaker 2: he's like, yeah, of course he'll definitely be there and
- 7:18Speaker 2: he's like, I'm never going to see this guy again.
- 7:19Speaker 2: They were like at the grocery store. And then he
- 7:24Speaker 2: sees the friend again a week later and he's like,
- 7:26Speaker 2: you didn't make the party. It's like we were all
- 7:27Speaker 2: waiting for you to come. And he's like, you'll never believe.
- 7:31Speaker 2: And he talks about and he's like, my car i'm driving,
- 7:33Speaker 2: we hit a rock, car flips over. He's like it's
- 7:37Speaker 2: really funny.
- 7:38Speaker 7: Yeah, and then the great I Think you should leave
- 7:43Speaker 7: sketch is similar to that which one is that season
- 7:46Speaker 7: one when they go to the party and they're late
- 7:50Speaker 7: and the guy's like, why should we tell them why
- 7:57Speaker 7: we're late or something like that, and he's like they
- 8:00Speaker 7: go their separate ways and then he's like, yeah, sorry,
- 8:02Speaker 7: we're late. We were just like there was this we
- 8:06Speaker 7: were involved in this hit and run. And the guy's
- 8:10Speaker 7: like what and then he starts getting mad at him
- 8:13Speaker 7: for like asking for more.
- 8:14Speaker 2: He's like the cosh shop, but they didn't care at all.
- 8:19Speaker 2: This person just didn't matter. That's hilarious. Yeah, I do
- 8:27Speaker 2: the same exact shit. I can never tell someone it's
- 8:31Speaker 2: funny because you realize it's if you just say that
- 8:34Speaker 2: if you're just tell the truth, people don't care.
- 8:36Speaker 7: No, not on not only do they not care, but
- 8:39Speaker 7: then here's the weird part, Right, I'm at a point
- 8:43Speaker 7: now where when I actually do show up to something,
- 8:47Speaker 7: I almost feel like I deserve praise. Yeah, almost like, uh,
- 8:53Speaker 7: you guys don't understand how close I was to Yeah. Yeah,
- 8:57Speaker 7: and it took a lot for me to stay true
- 9:01Speaker 7: to our plan. Yeah, because you know, I think, I mean,
- 9:05Speaker 7: it's it's no new information here, but it almost never
- 9:10Speaker 7: feels like the wrong decision to not go.
- 9:14Speaker 2: No, never at this point, never, especially, I would think
- 9:20Speaker 2: for you, because you just seem so happy at home.
- 9:23Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Yeah, there's never once been a moment.
- 9:26Speaker 7: Eh.
- 9:26Speaker 2: I don't know. I guess there's times where I'm like,
- 9:30Speaker 2: that's deck would have been fun. I could have done
- 9:32Speaker 2: that doesn't really do a lot of things for fun?
- 9:35Speaker 7: Do you think that? Do you ever feel guilty that
- 9:39Speaker 7: you live in New York City and just don't take
- 9:42Speaker 7: advantage of ninety nine point nine percent of the amazing
- 9:49Speaker 7: things that are offered here?
- 9:51Speaker 2: No, not at all, because there's actually not that many things.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Like there's like there's like museums and parks.
- 9:58Speaker 7: And Broadway shows and great theater and musical acts and
- 10:02Speaker 7: restaurants and weird cultural things that you just don't have
- 10:07Speaker 7: in any other part of the world.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah. I guess there's good restaurants and theater and stuff,
- 10:11Speaker 2: but I don't like theater and I not obsessed with
- 10:14Speaker 2: food like you guys are.
- 10:16Speaker 7: I went and saw John mulaney and Nick Kroll in
- 10:19Speaker 7: Oh Hello on Broadway. Yeah, and it was probably the
- 10:23Speaker 7: single best thing I ever saw in New York.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, she like, that's cool. But I do
- 10:27Speaker 2: stuff like that. I would go see something like that
- 10:29Speaker 2: was Broadway, that's theater. Yeah, but you I don't know, Like,
- 10:32Speaker 2: I'm not like a musical. I'm not going to go
- 10:34Speaker 2: to like go see fucking Wicked.
- 10:36Speaker 7: I'm not saying we should go see Wicked. Steve Carrell
- 10:38Speaker 7: is playing in a drama on Broadway right now.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Should we go?
- 10:41Speaker 9: No?
- 10:41Speaker 2: I have no interest in doing what if we went, Like,
- 10:43Speaker 2: I can think of like ten things I'd rather do
- 10:45Speaker 2: than that. You would do any of those things, though,
- 10:49Speaker 2: but that no, I would I do. There's not ten
- 10:51Speaker 2: things that you're going to do ahead of that. There's
- 10:53Speaker 2: one thing done game Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, Search
- 10:58Speaker 2: and Destroy hardcore resurgence.
- 11:02Speaker 7: I put that all under the umbrella of stay home
- 11:05Speaker 7: play video games. Come on, it's a limited run. Let's
- 11:08Speaker 7: go see Steve Carrell on Broadway.
- 11:11Speaker 2: No, no, I'm not gonna do that, but I appreciate
- 11:14Speaker 2: the offer. No I was. I wasn't gonna Yeah, we
- 11:17Speaker 2: were never gonna do that.
- 11:17Speaker 7: We were gonna split it the cost.
- 11:20Speaker 2: No, yeah, no, I assumed. I assumed I would be paying.
- 11:23Speaker 7: I'm not gifting you a night time.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Also, part of the thing with that is I think
- 11:28Speaker 2: it I think it comes from living that we used
- 11:31Speaker 2: to live in Hell's Kitchen and the idea of even
- 11:34Speaker 2: going close to Times Square.
- 11:36Speaker 7: You got to get over the Times Square part. We're
- 11:38Speaker 7: not going to Times Square. We're quickly navigating Times Square
- 11:42Speaker 7: to get into an air conditioned theater.
- 11:44Speaker 2: If I could stay away from Times Square for the
- 11:46Speaker 2: rest of my life, I would. Yeah. And like even
- 11:49Speaker 2: having to just pass through fine, fine, Like the fact
- 11:53Speaker 2: that I only ever had to do Carolines like twice
- 11:56Speaker 2: before it closed.
- 11:57Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, how about that? God, how about that? Uh,
- 12:01Speaker 7: here's a middle ground.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Do you like art at all or at all?
- 12:04Speaker 7: Now?
- 12:05Speaker 2: Not?
- 12:05Speaker 7: Even what if you saw like Van Goes and rembrands.
- 12:08Speaker 2: I've seen the Mona Lisa, I've seen stuff like that. Yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 2: that's too much though, that's like, yeah, I like, I
- 12:13Speaker 2: like going to a museum, walking through a museum. I
- 12:15Speaker 2: don't mind it. How are you saying that museum? Sorry
- 12:18Speaker 2: for because I always I pronounced it museum.
- 12:21Speaker 7: Why would you do that?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Because that's just how I grew up pronouncing it. That's
- 12:24Speaker 2: how everyone I knew pronounced it. But then I came
- 12:26Speaker 2: I met other people and they're all like, museum, Like,
- 12:29Speaker 2: I don't know, how do you pronounce how is it?
- 12:30Speaker 2: How is it supposed to be pronounced museum? Museum?
- 12:33Speaker 7: There's an e in there?
- 12:34Speaker 2: Museum.
- 12:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 12:36Speaker 2: See, I always pronounced a museum. That's how every Like
- 12:40Speaker 2: if I called my parents right now, they would say museum.
- 12:42Speaker 7: I grew up pronouncing it room instead of room, and
- 12:47Speaker 7: broom instead of broom, and roof instead of roof.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Well, all those sounds had rough and well maybe I
- 12:55Speaker 2: didn't do that, Like like room instead of room is fine.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Rough instead of roof is just not how it's pronounced.
- 13:05Speaker 7: I didn't do that. I just said that because I
- 13:07Speaker 7: know some people do, but I didn't do that. Yeah,
- 13:10Speaker 7: the point being enough people corrected me that I changed it.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I was trying to do there, but
- 13:17Speaker 2: I don't remember how people pronounce it, so I was
- 13:20Speaker 2: had a hard time changing it. Fine.
- 13:22Speaker 7: The Frick Collection on the Upper east Side is a
- 13:26Speaker 7: small museum and it only would take us. We could
- 13:32Speaker 7: be there for forty five minutes.
- 13:33Speaker 2: Oh, I thought you're gonna say ten forty five is
- 13:35Speaker 2: too long. You need forty forty five is too long
- 13:38Speaker 2: to be walking around and looking at it.
- 13:40Speaker 7: It's small, it's it's it's it's a house, it's a mansion.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd rather go to like a big one, though
- 13:45Speaker 2: I want to go.
- 13:45Speaker 7: You would want Sony in or something, because there's too
- 13:47Speaker 7: much and it all starts to blend together.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Like that shit I like. I like I I go
- 13:51Speaker 2: into the Smithsonian or like the good They had some
- 13:54Speaker 2: good museums in Boston.
- 13:57Speaker 7: We could go to the Googenheim. I don't think you're
- 13:59Speaker 7: gonna lie like that. We could go to the MoMA.
- 14:02Speaker 2: No, I don't want to. I'm not going to like
- 14:03Speaker 2: any of them. You would like the Frick because it's
- 14:05Speaker 2: like as much as I would like to see, it's
- 14:07Speaker 2: like the greatest hits Museum, the NASA Museum in Huntsville, Alabama.
- 14:14Speaker 7: I've been to the Air Space Museum and a d C.
- 14:16Speaker 7: That's kind of cool. Yeah, yeah, you know what that was? It?
- 14:19Speaker 2: I didn't Yeah, actually I went to a museum and uh.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I went to the Smithsonian with Derek Dresher and Mook
- 14:24Speaker 2: in DC. We went to uh, the History one and
- 14:29Speaker 2: we went we tried to go to the Air and
- 14:30Speaker 2: Space one, but the line was insane with reservations. I
- 14:34Speaker 2: didn't love it.
- 14:35Speaker 7: It was a little too child oriented. There were a
- 14:37Speaker 7: lot of touch this button and do this thing.
- 14:40Speaker 2: I don't like that.
- 14:40Speaker 7: I didn't like that I had to wait behind a
- 14:42Speaker 7: five year old for my turn.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Well, what's the one where you were touch.
- 14:47Speaker 7: You never land the lunar module.
- 14:49Speaker 2: What's the one where you what's the one with the animals?
- 14:51Speaker 2: So the history?
- 14:52Speaker 7: Yeah, it's probably the Museum of Natural History.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that one was pretty sick in New York in DC.
- 14:57Speaker 2: If it's got one here in a big ass grizzly
- 14:59Speaker 2: bear live yep. Interesting. Okay, so you like animals, No,
- 15:06Speaker 2: why would it be live? Wasn't a zoo?
- 15:13Speaker 7: Well? The Museum of Natural History here in New York
- 15:18Speaker 7: had an exhibit of birds of Paradise or something, and
- 15:25Speaker 7: they were real birds flying around. Yeah. They also had
- 15:28Speaker 7: a butterfly exhibit that I'll never forget. It was amazing
- 15:32Speaker 7: and you walked in and they had sort of misty,
- 15:34Speaker 7: leafy plants soaring towards the top of this light filled greenhouse,
- 15:41Speaker 7: and you felt transported into the rainforest as butterflies flapped
- 15:47Speaker 7: around and some even landed on you.
- 15:49Speaker 2: I think, yeah, I like some shit like that, but
- 15:52Speaker 2: it's got to be I got a very specific like,
- 15:56Speaker 2: I don't want to go see art. I don't want
- 15:57Speaker 2: to go see sculptures.
- 15:58Speaker 7: I like.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I saw Abe. That was sick.
- 16:01Speaker 7: You saw the Lincoln Memorial.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Yeah, Abe was cool.
- 16:03Speaker 7: It's amazing.
- 16:04Speaker 2: That was cool to see. I've seen it before, but
- 16:05Speaker 2: I saw it again. It's worth going my adult years,
- 16:08Speaker 2: and that was sick. Declaration of Independence was sick.
- 16:17Speaker 10: Like.
- 16:17Speaker 2: But then you're like, well, it's not even the real
- 16:19Speaker 2: declaration of Independence, So who gives a fuck?
- 16:21Speaker 7: We talk about nine to eleven a lot. What if
- 16:23Speaker 7: we went to the nine to eleven.
- 16:26Speaker 2: You've never seen the nine eleven.
- 16:27Speaker 7: You know what happened, dude, is when it opened, people.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Were so you lived here for like twelve years.
- 16:32Speaker 7: Let me finish my excuse people when it opened, I
- 16:36Speaker 7: was here when it opened. Yeah, and when it happened,
- 16:43Speaker 7: I'm going to ask you for a moment of silence
- 16:46Speaker 7: as I finished talking about a very tragic moment. Uh
- 16:51Speaker 7: when it opened.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Continue, I'm just grabbing the water.
- 16:57Speaker 7: When it opened, everyone said you can't get it, and
- 17:00Speaker 7: the reservations are forever, the lines are too long, all this, like,
- 17:04Speaker 7: you know, you can't go. Yeah. I always just thought
- 17:10Speaker 7: that was I never let go of that thought, even
- 17:15Speaker 7: though I'm sure I've never.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Been to the museum. I've been to the memorial. As
- 17:20Speaker 2: we were talking about the memorial.
- 17:23Speaker 7: I haven't been. I've been down there, but I've never
- 17:25Speaker 7: even seen I haven't walked around the water.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I've seen that like ten times. Really, yeah, and I've
- 17:32Speaker 2: lived here for four years.
- 17:34Speaker 7: Okay, well let's go. Let's go to the museum.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Why would I go. It's not something I'm like dying
- 17:37Speaker 2: to get back to.
- 17:38Speaker 7: Well, we talked about it enough. I think the event
- 17:41Speaker 7: we deserves our further understanding. I actually went to that
- 17:45Speaker 7: with Roan, did you. Yeah, that's pretty solemn. No, we
- 17:51Speaker 7: just walked by it. It's like I've walked by it,
- 17:53Speaker 7: like I've never really saw it. I've never maybe I have,
- 17:55Speaker 7: I've never like gone, you would know. It's too massive
- 18:00Speaker 7: holes in the ground. I've walked by and you want
- 18:03Speaker 7: to know what's been there? White sort of bone like
- 18:07Speaker 7: structure the train station. Yeah, yeah, that's right next to it, right.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Yeah, m hm yeah. I like you know what I like.
- 18:16Speaker 2: I like going to like Hall of Fames.
- 18:18Speaker 7: That's cool.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Oh, like I went to me and Mooke went to
- 18:21Speaker 2: the Toronto the Hockey Hall. But that's the thing is, like,
- 18:25Speaker 2: none of that shit's really They have the Stanley Cup
- 18:27Speaker 2: there and you're like, is that the Stanley Cup, Like
- 18:29Speaker 2: it's the real Stanley Cup, And then you see a
- 18:31Speaker 2: little kid like driving a toy police car all over
- 18:34Speaker 2: the Stanley Cup and you're like, yeah, that's not the
- 18:36Speaker 2: Stanley We could pick that thing up and walk out
- 18:38Speaker 2: of here and they'd be like, just get the other one.
- 18:40Speaker 2: They doing out one of the dozen that we have
- 18:42Speaker 2: in the bad They.
- 18:43Speaker 7: Did a pretty damn good job of creating a replic
- 18:45Speaker 7: Cup because I found that the names they don't have,
- 18:48Speaker 7: the names are real.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Yeah, they're hammering all.
- 18:51Speaker 7: The names in of all the players. Yeah, at some
- 18:53Speaker 7: point they're going to run out of space.
- 18:54Speaker 2: They they do run out of space. It's rings.
- 18:58Speaker 7: Oh, so they're just adding more layers to it.
- 19:00Speaker 2: They take no, they take the rings off and they
- 19:02Speaker 2: put them in the Hall of Fame and then they
- 19:03Speaker 2: put on top of the new rings. I'm pretty that's cool,
- 19:07Speaker 2: not positive, And I'm pretty sure nice because the Stanley
- 19:11Speaker 2: Cup has been around for a while. Yes, they have
- 19:13Speaker 2: to put every person's name on it. Lord Stanley, yep,
- 19:17Speaker 2: Lord Stanley's gonna be Oh, I guess he already was
- 19:19Speaker 2: in the building.
- 19:22Speaker 7: Oh yeah, right, all right, Well, okay, that's good that
- 19:28Speaker 7: you have no qualms about missing out on the feast
- 19:31Speaker 7: of culture.
- 19:32Speaker 2: Well, like, I'm trying to get what other museums I like.
- 19:35Speaker 7: You can't keep saying it that way. I'm sorry, I
- 19:37Speaker 7: like it's it's just unbelievably annoying.
- 19:42Speaker 2: The kind of museums that I'm into are I like
- 19:46Speaker 2: the Hockey Hall of Fame. Like the Hockey Hall of
- 19:48Speaker 2: Fame was sick, Like they'd a had a cool ship there.
- 19:51Speaker 2: If there were a fishing museum we could go to that.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I'm sure there is. Let's see what other ones like.
- 19:59Speaker 2: I like the air plane, like the air and space ship.
- 20:01Speaker 2: I wanted to see that, but the line was too long.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Like the animals like that stuff, like when they have
- 20:08Speaker 2: replicas of the size. What is that? Oh fun boom,
- 20:15Speaker 2: that's up my way. Yeah, get up there a half hours. Yeah,
- 20:21Speaker 2: cat skills are great. Drake said he's got a boy
- 20:23Speaker 2: up there that we could take us fishing, did he Yeah,
- 20:27Speaker 2: our buddy Drake, he actually said that. Yeah, he said,
- 20:29Speaker 2: but if we ever wanted to float the cat skills,
- 20:31Speaker 2: his buddy could take us. I'm sure his buddy wouldn't
- 20:34Speaker 2: want to do that. You never know, it is kind
- 20:37Speaker 2: of funny, Drake, just pin that on one of your friends. Well,
- 20:40Speaker 2: my friends, Mike, I got a friend up there would
- 20:42Speaker 2: take you guys. And then he's like, no, I fucking wouldn't.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I'm gonna go out fishing with these guys for well,
- 20:47Speaker 2: we would pay him, Yeah, you would pay him, all right,
- 20:52Speaker 2: I'd probably teach him a thing or two. Honestly, you think, no, no,
- 20:56Speaker 2: maybe they're definitely not. He was probably unbelievably good at fishing.
- 21:01Speaker 7: All right. Uh oh have you read?
- 21:04Speaker 9: No?
- 21:04Speaker 7: Hemingway's just right away two hearted river. No, I've started it.
- 21:10Speaker 7: Have you read the Nick Adams stories.
- 21:13Speaker 2: No, I haven't read any Hemingway to be fully honest
- 21:17Speaker 2: that I've started a Man in the Sea, The Man
- 21:20Speaker 2: in the Sea, Old Man in the Sea. I've started
- 21:22Speaker 2: that a lot that I'm having on my kindle. It's
- 21:25Speaker 2: only like eight that's pretty short, but the big two
- 21:30Speaker 2: hearted rivers about fly fishing. Yeah, and you'd like it.
- 21:37Speaker 2: I'm not just saying that, No, I know I would
- 21:39Speaker 2: like it. You should commit yourself. There's short stories. They're
- 21:42Speaker 2: not hard to get through it. Yeah, it's right up
- 21:45Speaker 2: your alley. Yeah, I'm trying to suggest things that I
- 21:47Speaker 2: think you would like. Yeah, but everyone always tries to
- 21:50Speaker 2: do that. But I have things that I like, and
- 21:51Speaker 2: I like them and I do them all the time.
- 21:53Speaker 7: I think we all just want to see you add
- 21:55Speaker 7: some more dimension to your life.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Yeah, but like I'm satisfied.
- 21:59Speaker 7: Yeah, but there's satisfied, and then there's like there's.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Really nothing that I'm like dying the change. Maybe if
- 22:06Speaker 2: I had a maid, that would be cool.
- 22:10Speaker 7: Yeah, actually a hundred with that. And I almost want
- 22:16Speaker 7: to give you a birthday present of made visits. Yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 7: I would love a maze because I know that as
- 22:21Speaker 7: soon as you have her come one time, you're gonna
- 22:24Speaker 7: be like, I cannot live without this.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd like a maid. I'd like a.
- 22:28Speaker 7: Why haven't you done a mate?
- 22:30Speaker 2: Because I don't want to spend money for someone to
- 22:31Speaker 2: clean my tiny apartment. I can clean myself. You don't
- 22:34Speaker 2: clean it though. You don't clean the bathroom. It's the bathroom.
- 22:36Speaker 2: You clean the bathroom.
- 22:37Speaker 7: No, you don't.
- 22:37Speaker 2: You're not on your hands and knees. I clean it constantly.
- 22:41Speaker 7: Do you have cleaning fluid? What sort of SuDS and stuff?
- 22:46Speaker 7: Do you have spray well? Kind your bathroom cleaner? Do
- 22:49Speaker 7: you have toilet cleaner? Do you bleach?
- 22:51Speaker 2: I've cleaned my toilet. I cleaned my entire bathroom like
- 22:54Speaker 2: a week ago. I'd literally got I scrubbed the entire tub.
- 22:59Speaker 7: It's just they're professional. That's their calling.
- 23:02Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're also in your apartment, which is annoying.
- 23:05Speaker 7: Leave for a moment.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I want to. They're there for two hours. Not even
- 23:08Speaker 2: two hours is a long time to be away from home. Yes,
- 23:15Speaker 2: they're calling you cleaning You cleaning your bathroom is taking
- 23:22Speaker 2: a job away from someone that loves to do that.
- 23:25Speaker 2: What do they take? Another five percent of my income.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I'm not adding anymore anyone else to the team. They
- 23:30Speaker 2: have to be in my weekly meetings. I got, I got.
- 23:35Speaker 2: I do everything I want to do. I play video games.
- 23:39Speaker 2: I played video games this morning at like eight am.
- 23:42Speaker 2: So I woke up at five thirty. And then I
- 23:44Speaker 2: got out of bed and I was like, well, I
- 23:46Speaker 2: guess I'll get my days started. And then I was
- 23:48Speaker 2: like with what what am I gonna do? I have
- 23:51Speaker 2: nothing to do? I watched two YouTube videos, ate breakfast,
- 23:56Speaker 2: drank coffee, and then I was like, I guess I'll
- 23:58Speaker 2: play some Call of Duty. Yeah, and that was fun.
- 24:01Speaker 2: And then I recorded dog Walk and then I did
- 24:05Speaker 2: this and now I'm gonna go home, probably play more
- 24:08Speaker 2: video games and then watch the NHL Stanley Cup. Sorry guys,
- 24:13Speaker 2: it hasn't happened for us yet, and then I'm going
- 24:17Speaker 2: to go to bed.
- 24:19Speaker 7: All right.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Fine, Look, you know that's a good day. That's a
- 24:22Speaker 2: solid day. Like what would you add into that mix?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Because that's like a that's a that's an ideal day
- 24:28Speaker 2: for me.
- 24:28Speaker 7: I'm not telling you to go to a museum today.
- 24:31Speaker 2: No spots tonight, thank God, needed a break right back
- 24:38Speaker 2: at it tomorrow. Oh man, I don't know. My best
- 24:46Speaker 2: days are like, well, you know what it is, dude,
- 24:48Speaker 2: I want to have ship to talk to you about.
- 24:51Speaker 7: Bro, and I come to your side of the aisle. Hey,
- 24:57Speaker 7: how are the video games? How's the fishing?
- 24:59Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:00Speaker 7: And I can't be like, have you seen any good
- 25:03Speaker 7: art installations lately? Have you let any good.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Could you talk about that with Ron?
- 25:10Speaker 4: Ron?
- 25:11Speaker 2: You think Ron's going to see art? Yes, I didn't
- 25:15Speaker 2: know he's not. Yes, he does. He does cool shit.
- 25:18Speaker 7: He's he's going off the Japan.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Ron does cool shit. He does. He goes to restaurants,
- 25:23Speaker 2: which is.
- 25:23Speaker 7: Cool, and travels and has culture, travels travel more than Ron.
- 25:29Speaker 2: No, he just travels for fun. Well when I travel
- 25:32Speaker 2: by force?
- 25:38Speaker 7: Huh? Fair enough? Fair enough? What are you eating these days?
- 25:44Speaker 2: A lot of fucking turkey sandwiches?
- 25:46Speaker 7: Are you? Yeah?
- 25:47Speaker 2: And I'm making them?
- 25:48Speaker 7: No?
- 25:49Speaker 2: Where are you buying from West fourth Marketplace? What do
- 25:53Speaker 2: they put on those sandwiches? Turkey, lettuce, tomato, mayo? And
- 25:57Speaker 2: they just started outing mayo. Finally, it's a big deal.
- 26:00Speaker 7: They weren't before that weren't.
- 26:01Speaker 2: And I would write in the notes add mayo and
- 26:03Speaker 2: they never would. What about? So I had to buy
- 26:05Speaker 2: my own man.
- 26:06Speaker 7: What about some Oh my god, you wouldn't put mayo
- 26:08Speaker 7: on sandwiches that were getting and these are getting delivered.
- 26:11Speaker 2: Yes, that's a part of my life that I agree
- 26:14Speaker 2: needs to change. But it's tough because it's like you
- 26:18Speaker 2: go out, you buy all these groceries, and then you
- 26:20Speaker 2: on the road the next day and then you come
- 26:21Speaker 2: home and you're fucking kitchen stinks like old I'm not.
- 26:25Speaker 7: Telling you that books. I'm saying, go walk down the street,
- 26:28Speaker 7: to get down the.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Street and get shit all the time. Yeah, I go
- 26:32Speaker 2: to the deli rip out of my apartment and I
- 26:33Speaker 2: get food. They don't. They don't have good food. And
- 26:36Speaker 2: I hate to tell them because they love me and
- 26:38Speaker 2: I love them, but I have a hard time talent.
- 26:41Speaker 2: They don't have ic coffee. All they have is hot coffee.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Let's get some iced in there.
- 26:45Speaker 7: You got plenty of good coffee spots around you.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I do, but I don't want to. I don't like
- 26:49Speaker 2: going to those places. They freak me out. I don't
- 26:52Speaker 2: like going into those like coffee shops where it's like
- 26:54Speaker 2: everyone's on their laptop and then they all look at
- 26:56Speaker 2: you when you walk in. What do you mean like
- 26:57Speaker 2: they're looking at you when the menu is like a puzzle.
- 27:03Speaker 2: You guys have just coffee, right, just normal. I'll just
- 27:05Speaker 2: do one normal. Just throw a couple of ice cubes
- 27:07Speaker 2: in there. Oh no, that's cold brew. Well I don't
- 27:10Speaker 2: want a cold bruh. Just want a nice coffee.
- 27:13Speaker 7: Okay, you can ask for a nice coffee. They're not
- 27:15Speaker 7: gonna be They're not gonna be puzzled by that.
- 27:17Speaker 2: It's a little intimate. Too intimate, it's a little much.
- 27:23Speaker 2: What about a plant? I thought about it.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Would you get a plant for your home?
- 27:28Speaker 2: I thought about getting a plant. Yeah, I think you'd
- 27:30Speaker 2: do well with a plant. I don't really have anywhere
- 27:31Speaker 2: to put them though, near the window. That's where I
- 27:34Speaker 2: put my fishing gear. That's my gear storage area because
- 27:40Speaker 2: that I don't have a lot of space. It's not
- 27:41Speaker 2: a lot of storage space in my apartment, so that
- 27:43Speaker 2: area is full storage.
- 27:44Speaker 7: Do you like going to sporting events?
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yeah, depends depends. I did, and then I started gambling,
- 27:51Speaker 2: and now I'm like, well, I want to watch all
- 27:53Speaker 2: the games at the same time. Like the idea of
- 27:56Speaker 2: going to a football game at one pm, It's like, well,
- 27:58Speaker 2: then I'm gonna miss every other one pm game.
- 28:02Speaker 7: We used to play pool all the time, we did,
- 28:04Speaker 7: and would I be able to get you back into that?
- 28:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I would play pool. I mean i'd like to
- 28:10Speaker 2: do that. I'd go to a hall. I'd like to
- 28:13Speaker 2: do that. I've texted you before being like, let's go
- 28:16Speaker 2: play pool, and then you're always like, uh, totally forgot
- 28:19Speaker 2: that I have pilates today.
- 28:21Speaker 7: Or I'm at the museum.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Yeah, I've We've made I've been on my way to
- 28:25Speaker 2: play pool with you and you've canceled. Not true that
- 28:27Speaker 2: I remember wrong, because when I lived, when I leapt,
- 28:29Speaker 2: asking you to play pool because you didn't want to
- 28:31Speaker 2: play with me. I remember walking down the six floor
- 28:34Speaker 2: walk up that I that we used to live in,
- 28:36Speaker 2: and I remember you calling me and going, hey, are
- 28:38Speaker 2: you on your way? And I'm like, yeah, I'm getting
- 28:40Speaker 2: in the uber right now, and you're I think I'm
- 28:42Speaker 2: just gonna go back to my apartment and go to
- 28:44Speaker 2: the gym. Honestly, I'll see you at the stand later.
- 28:47Speaker 2: And I was like, oh, okay, I guess i'll cancel
- 28:48Speaker 2: the uber.
- 28:50Speaker 7: I'm sorry.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Vivid memories of that.
- 28:52Speaker 7: I'm sorry. I get me up and I remember doing that. Yeah,
- 28:55Speaker 7: that's not fair.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Also, I mean, pool's fun, but it's also what's a
- 28:58Speaker 2: fucking three hundred dollars a day day like hobby? If
- 29:03Speaker 2: you could play at like a bar.
- 29:05Speaker 7: We go for two hours. We're not really drinking anymore.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Oh well, one of us isn't one of us is
- 29:11Speaker 2: drinking enough for two of us.
- 29:12Speaker 7: I won't be all come.
- 29:15Speaker 2: It's not even that you're still drinking. You're just not
- 29:17Speaker 2: drinking alcohol diet coke at that places the same as
- 29:20Speaker 2: a beer. No it doesn't, No, it doesn't. I'm struggling.
- 29:26Speaker 2: God forbid, a man wants a zero zero.
- 29:28Speaker 7: I'm struggling to write a new new hour.
- 29:31Speaker 2: I haven't even tried to write new jokes in the
- 29:33Speaker 2: last month.
- 29:34Speaker 7: I got one, that's good.
- 29:35Speaker 2: I got one.
- 29:36Speaker 7: I got one that's good.
- 29:38Speaker 2: I got one too, but I don't I don't know.
- 29:41Speaker 2: I had one that I wrote down last or two
- 29:44Speaker 2: nights ago, and it's, uh, it's it's not great, but
- 29:48Speaker 2: it was the best I could think of. It was
- 29:50Speaker 2: about the incidental charges at hotels. Oh that's good.
- 29:54Speaker 7: I like that.
- 29:54Speaker 2: How they charge you for incidentals in case you throw
- 29:58Speaker 2: your head through the wall or something. Then I and
- 30:02Speaker 2: then The joke was that that that's the only place
- 30:04Speaker 2: where they charge you for something in advance before you
- 30:08Speaker 2: actually do it.
- 30:09Speaker 7: Charge you on in case things go really wrong.
- 30:12Speaker 2: Yeah, and then I was saying that would be like
- 30:14Speaker 2: if you walked into Walmart and they charged They said,
- 30:16Speaker 2: we're just going to charge you three million dollars and
- 30:19Speaker 2: then we'll work backwards from the air based on what
- 30:21Speaker 2: you didn't buy.
- 30:25Speaker 7: We'll subtract all the things that aren't on fire the store.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so that was all right, we're work shopping here.
- 30:32Speaker 2: That was the big idea. You can use that fire
- 30:34Speaker 2: part if you want. No, I to be honest, I
- 30:36Speaker 2: zoned out as soon as you said it. No, I'm kidding.
- 30:39Speaker 2: It was a joke. I thought we were workshopping. Yeah,
- 30:47Speaker 2: that was the big one. But then it's like, also
- 30:48Speaker 2: all that shit, like that's probably been done.
- 30:51Speaker 7: You say that about everything. It doesn't matter. Everybody's told
- 30:55Speaker 7: all the jokes.
- 30:56Speaker 2: Just it doesn't matter for everyone, aside for the people
- 30:58Speaker 2: that watch my clips.
- 31:00Speaker 7: Well, make it your.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Own because they like to really dig. If you start
- 31:04Speaker 2: telling truth Jam Jeffrey said this forty five years ago
- 31:07Speaker 2: in his first.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Album, If you start telling truths about yourself, then nobody can. Really.
- 31:12Speaker 7: People might say it, but they're wrong.
- 31:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm more of an observational guy, and I let's
- 31:20Speaker 2: talk about the world around me. Well, I hope you
- 31:23Speaker 2: evolve now, I'm kidding. I have plenty of jokes about myself.
- 31:28Speaker 7: Hmm.
- 31:29Speaker 2: I don't really have a lot of Like that was
- 31:30Speaker 2: really like, that was like the first joke idea I've
- 31:33Speaker 2: had in a long time. I had, like I have
- 31:35Speaker 2: shit written down, Like that's nothing. This is just this
- 31:40Speaker 2: is just a time dude in the penalty box with
- 31:42Speaker 2: a headset on what it's like when you watch hockey
- 31:46Speaker 2: games and someone gets a penalty for some reason. It's
- 31:48Speaker 2: just another dude in the penalty box wearing a headset.
- 31:54Speaker 7: And what's he doing? That's the joke. I don't know.
- 31:56Speaker 7: I have no idea. Oh and what are we at
- 32:00Speaker 7: right now?
- 32:01Speaker 2: Twenty five? It's hard. I feel like we're getting somewhere.
- 32:08Speaker 2: You do, I'm just going on, I'm just going all right.
- 32:11Speaker 7: Well, that's what Ron says to do, is to just
- 32:12Speaker 7: start talking.
- 32:16Speaker 2: I gotta listen to our old roan advice on how
- 32:19Speaker 2: to do the podcast channel. Oh, this one's good pedophile
- 32:23Speaker 2: who tells people he's just a freak. It's a zinger.
- 32:29Speaker 7: Don't kink shame me.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Yeah, like you know, like or not even that, but
- 32:33Speaker 2: like you know, people are like, oh, it's like, yeah,
- 32:35Speaker 2: I'm kind he's kind of a freak. Huh, Like to
- 32:38Speaker 2: someone telling like if that would be like if I
- 32:39Speaker 2: was a pedophile and you were like, yeah, he's kind
- 32:42Speaker 2: of freaky. He's kind of a freak, but secretly or
- 32:44Speaker 2: like he fox kids.
- 32:46Speaker 7: We always get back to fucking kids.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Oh, it's an easy topic.
- 32:49Speaker 7: I always wondered if there was something about like within
- 32:51Speaker 7: the pedophile community, are there those who are still homophobic, Like, yeah,
- 32:58Speaker 7: they judge other pedophiles for for fucking boys. Look, I
- 33:03Speaker 7: get that. I'm a pedophile. At least I'm straight about it.
- 33:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 33:06Speaker 2: I think that's a thing. I think there's jokes about that,
- 33:08Speaker 2: are there?
- 33:09Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 33:09Speaker 2: I think so. Okay, I had one about pretty privilege
- 33:15Speaker 2: with my dogs. You know how people are talking about
- 33:22Speaker 2: pretty privilege, about pretty privilege, and how it's like how
- 33:25Speaker 2: it's like people you are nicer. This is it, this
- 33:28Speaker 2: is how it's done. You gotta you start from nothing.
- 33:31Speaker 2: You hold people are nicer to people who are pretty,
- 33:33Speaker 2: who are more attractive, just like in passing. Sure like
- 33:39Speaker 2: if you had an attractive uber driver and they were
- 33:42Speaker 2: stopping and starting the car at a very aggressive motion,
- 33:45Speaker 2: you wouldn't You wouldn't be like this fucking animal.
- 33:50Speaker 7: Yeah, well, I don't say anything anyway. I get that.
- 33:54Speaker 7: I get that a lot. I have people who are
- 33:57Speaker 7: just fucking speeding up when the car ahead of us
- 34:06Speaker 7: has already stopped break lights. You see him, and they
- 34:11Speaker 7: get close and then they slam on the brakes and
- 34:14Speaker 7: then before the car has moved, they start inching. Inch stop,
- 34:20Speaker 7: inch stops, brutal inch stops. My biggest pet peev He's
- 34:23Speaker 7: tend to be people that hail from countries that are
- 34:26Speaker 7: very warm, very warm. I'll just say that. So I
- 34:33Speaker 7: in those rides, I think to myself, I'm giving this
- 34:36Speaker 7: guy four stars.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Yeah I do. I say that, and then I end
- 34:41Speaker 2: up getting out and give him five stars. And the
- 34:43Speaker 2: time I give them five, well, he doesn't he didn't know.
- 34:47Speaker 2: But I'm in the back of it. It's not for me,
- 34:49Speaker 2: guys shooting out of my eyes. It's not for me
- 34:52Speaker 2: to make this guy's job harder. No, Yeah, that's the
- 34:54Speaker 2: thing I'm not gonna I'm not gonna get him fired.
- 34:56Speaker 7: I think that some people not only do they say
- 34:59Speaker 7: fuck this guy, they don't give him four stars, they
- 35:02Speaker 7: give him one star. I think there's a lot of
- 35:04Speaker 7: binary people about out.
- 35:06Speaker 2: I think it's a lot less people than you'd think.
- 35:09Speaker 7: Some people, and I could almost understand it. They're saying,
- 35:12Speaker 7: the ride's either good or it's bad. I had. If
- 35:15Speaker 7: it's good, I'm giving five, and if it's bad, I'm
- 35:17Speaker 7: giving one.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Oh, and you had a guy, didn't you have a
- 35:19Speaker 2: guy that that was drunk and you would like get out,
- 35:22Speaker 2: like in the hall in tunnel or some shit. What
- 35:26Speaker 2: did you give that guy one star? Five? Yeah? Your
- 35:33Speaker 2: driver Jesus, Oh my god. Yeah, I think you were
- 35:44Speaker 2: with Tommy Smokes. I remember when that happened. Yeah, that's
- 35:46Speaker 2: a scenario where I would throw the one star because
- 35:48Speaker 2: now you're like, okay, well you're you're putting me in danger, right.
- 35:53Speaker 2: But the joke is that I have two dogs. One
- 35:56Speaker 2: of them he's a bad dog who bites people. He's
- 36:02Speaker 2: not allowed to meet new people anymore because he bites
- 36:05Speaker 2: everyone that he meets. That's new.
- 36:06Speaker 7: Yeah, that's bad. Why did you let him get that far?
- 36:09Speaker 2: He's old now, he's like ten, has he always been
- 36:11Speaker 2: doing it though he started when he was young. He'll
- 36:15Speaker 2: not He's not. He's not going to change, that's for sure.
- 36:18Speaker 2: Why didn't you nip that in the butt? We tried,
- 36:20Speaker 2: We tried multiple times and it didn't work. To give
- 36:23Speaker 2: him a well spankeroo. No, we get we have a zapper.
- 36:27Speaker 7: He didn't.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Not nothing worked. He thinks he's defending the house.
- 36:30Speaker 7: And what kind of dog?
- 36:32Speaker 2: He's a mix? And uh. And then we have another
- 36:35Speaker 2: dog who is a very good dog, like wants to
- 36:39Speaker 2: be a pet, friendly with all other people and other
- 36:43Speaker 2: dogs that she meets. That dog ugly as all hell.
- 36:50Speaker 2: And then the bad dog is very cute and everyone
- 36:55Speaker 2: loves the cute one. Pretty privilege. It's a bad dog.
- 37:00Speaker 2: It's a good looking dog. The other dog is the
- 37:04Speaker 2: kind of dog that you go home and you maybe
- 37:05Speaker 2: you pet it once. Well, this to me is a
- 37:08Speaker 2: great good to see you again. It's get her her
- 37:12Speaker 2: breath is awful. Get her away from me.
- 37:14Speaker 7: It sounds like you're not taking care of the good
- 37:16Speaker 7: dog very well. You know, we take very good care
- 37:18Speaker 7: of it. Do you ever give it brushies?
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:20Speaker 7: Really?
- 37:21Speaker 2: It's breath? Yeah, because maybe if you gave it the
- 37:26Speaker 2: esthetic care that it deserves. Yeah, give it a little
- 37:29Speaker 2: bit of a makeover. Well, we get it. We've given
- 37:32Speaker 2: her haircuts, and then it comes back and it looks worse.
- 37:35Speaker 7: Really, yeah, because nobody knows how to do it properly.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Yeah, she tries her best, though. It's a good dog,
- 37:41Speaker 2: great dog, yeah right, just not really not not one
- 37:45Speaker 2: that you'd like see on this tree and be like,
- 37:47Speaker 2: oh I gotta pet that dog.
- 37:49Speaker 7: Right, yeah, I understand, right, I got you. I'm picking
- 37:52Speaker 7: up what you're putting down there.
- 37:53Speaker 2: So there's something maybe something there that's pretty good, little wordy.
- 37:57Speaker 2: It took us a while to get there. M h.
- 38:00Speaker 2: It's a good ten minute chunk though.
- 38:04Speaker 7: Minutes ten minutes.
- 38:08Speaker 2: Yeah, So now I'm do. I got I have material, obviously,
- 38:11Speaker 2: I have an hour of material of over an hour,
- 38:13Speaker 2: but it's like I don't like So I did the
- 38:17Speaker 2: Dontel set and that was like my best ten pretty
- 38:21Speaker 2: much my best ten minutes. There's a couple jokes that
- 38:22Speaker 2: could have been in there that I didn't put in there,
- 38:25Speaker 2: but those are the jokes that I was excited about.
- 38:27Speaker 2: And then I got the other fifty or forty and
- 38:29Speaker 2: those are all good too, but they're done. They've been
- 38:31Speaker 2: doing them forever, right, And so now I'm like, now
- 38:35Speaker 2: I did spots this weekend. I did the ten minutes,
- 38:38Speaker 2: just did it again. Yeah, And I was like, this
- 38:40Speaker 2: is so pointless. Yeah, do you like just making sure
- 38:46Speaker 2: they still work they've already been recorded.
- 38:49Speaker 7: Yeah. Hey, here's the question. Okay, how much do you
- 38:56Speaker 7: worry about bad neighborhoods. Do you ever find yourself in
- 39:01Speaker 7: a bad part of town bad neighborhood?
- 39:05Speaker 2: Not so much in New York, New York, I don't
- 39:07Speaker 2: really worry about it because I kind of have this
- 39:09Speaker 2: whole philosophy that it's like, it's so busy, Like I'm like,
- 39:12Speaker 2: I'll walk down Seventh Street at any time of the day.
- 39:15Speaker 2: I don't give a shit about that. No one's gonna
- 39:17Speaker 2: kill me. And when there's a traffic built up next
- 39:20Speaker 2: to us. But that's what you think, That's what I think.
- 39:23Speaker 2: But I think it's a good way to think. When
- 39:26Speaker 2: I was in I went to do Gardini's podcast when
- 39:30Speaker 2: he lived in Queens. Yeah, and I got off the
- 39:33Speaker 2: I took the train there and I got off the
- 39:35Speaker 2: train and there was a there was a group of
- 39:38Speaker 2: fellows that were that were a little intimidating. They all
- 39:41Speaker 2: had schistis on. Oh really, so it was a pack
- 39:44Speaker 2: of and I didn't I had my headphones in noise canceling. Yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 2: and I and I turned around. I didn't know anyone
- 39:50Speaker 2: was behind me. And I turned around and they were
- 39:53Speaker 2: close enough to just give me a little poke, like
- 39:56Speaker 2: they were like in my asshole. And I turned around
- 40:00Speaker 2: and there's ten like teens with shisties on right behind me.
- 40:05Speaker 2: That scared the shit out of me. That was like
- 40:07Speaker 2: I almost ran, but instead I decided to do the
- 40:10Speaker 2: whole like a cross the street. And then they crossed
- 40:13Speaker 2: the street too, and then I was like, oh, so
- 40:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna get mugged for sure. And then that was
- 40:19Speaker 2: when I really was like really close to running, really
- 40:24Speaker 2: really close to running. And then I decided to just
- 40:26Speaker 2: turn around and walk. And then I was like, if
- 40:28Speaker 2: they followed me this, if I turn around and they
- 40:30Speaker 2: keep following me, then I'll run. And they didn't follow me.
- 40:33Speaker 7: Wow.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I ran once in Chicago when I lived in Chicago.
- 40:38Speaker 2: I ran, really yeah, And were you right to run?
- 40:42Speaker 2: I think? So? I sprinted.
- 40:45Speaker 7: I've never run except from like monsters in the woods.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Yeah, I've ran in the woods for sure, but this
- 40:51Speaker 2: was like a full on sprint. Wow. I was walking
- 40:56Speaker 2: in like Chicago. The thing about Chicago is that they
- 40:58Speaker 2: say that the crime is making its way into the
- 41:02Speaker 2: non crime filled neighborhoods.
- 41:04Speaker 7: Really the reverse gentrification. Yeah.
- 41:06Speaker 2: So I was walking in a neighborhood that was fine,
- 41:09Speaker 2: it's not a bad neighborhood. And there was a dude
- 41:11Speaker 2: that came up to me and he was like, Hey,
- 41:13Speaker 2: do you know where the train station's at? And I
- 41:15Speaker 2: was like, Oh, it's just right up there. Just take
- 41:17Speaker 2: a ride here. And then he continued to walk and
- 41:22Speaker 2: then he didn't take a right. He did not take
- 41:25Speaker 2: a rite at the t where I told him to
- 41:27Speaker 2: take a rite, and then he started walking really slow,
- 41:31Speaker 2: like he was waiting for me to get to get
- 41:33Speaker 2: in front of him so that he could take me
- 41:36Speaker 2: from behind.
- 41:36Speaker 7: Mm hmm.
- 41:38Speaker 2: And then it got to a point where so I
- 41:40Speaker 2: slowed down and I was like, this is weird. And
- 41:44Speaker 2: then I'm looking around. I'm like, oh, there's no one around,
- 41:47Speaker 2: there's not a car driving, there's no one around us, right,
- 41:50Speaker 2: And so he's slowing down. And then it got to
- 41:54Speaker 2: a point where we're just not moving, Like he's like
- 41:57Speaker 2: ten feet in front of me and we're just not moving.
- 42:00Speaker 2: So then I crossed the street, and then I looked
- 42:02Speaker 2: and he started crossing the street. And then I took off.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, gone in the wind. Wow flew.
- 42:08Speaker 7: And did you ever look back to see if he
- 42:10Speaker 7: was running too?
- 42:10Speaker 2: I looked back and he was still behind me, and
- 42:12Speaker 2: then I just I beat him. He couldn't catch me.
- 42:16Speaker 7: Happy to hear it. Yeah, well, it's good then that
- 42:19Speaker 7: I made you get rid of those Beata shit sneakers.
- 42:22Speaker 2: Now those were great running shoes. Oh no, they weren't.
- 42:24Speaker 2: These are good running shoes. Those are good running shoes.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I got these when I was preparing for a half marathon.
- 42:28Speaker 2: Now I just use them as more casual wear, right,
- 42:32Speaker 2: something with a good bass.
- 42:33Speaker 7: I say this because I, you know, there's this narrative
- 42:38Speaker 7: of the bad neighborhood, and I've been in some bad neighborhoods.
- 42:43Speaker 7: I'm talking specifically about driving through a bad neighborhood.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Driving, I don't get a shit out of you, kind of.
- 42:49Speaker 7: Just like, oh, you're in a bad neighborhood. Maybe maybe
- 42:53Speaker 7: do rolling stops at the stop signs?
- 42:57Speaker 2: Maybe maybe they can't steal your wheels.
- 43:00Speaker 7: Or like don't don't stop when someone's like, hey, can
- 43:05Speaker 7: you roll down your window? You know, yeah, maybe that's naive.
- 43:10Speaker 2: That's the Bronx is pretty me. And Oha went to
- 43:13Speaker 2: the Bronx to to to go to Chef Donnie's apartment.
- 43:17Speaker 2: He used to live in the Bronx. He had a
- 43:19Speaker 2: fucking mansion in the Bronx and they paid like four
- 43:23Speaker 2: hundred dollars a month for it. And we went there
- 43:26Speaker 2: and that was like a neighborhood that you're like, yeah,
- 43:28Speaker 2: you probably don't want to be walking around here at night.
- 43:31Speaker 2: That was like he had stories from that. He would
- 43:33Speaker 2: go to the public pool and they would wake the pool.
- 43:35Speaker 2: They would all chant wake the pool, and then they'd
- 43:38Speaker 2: all get in the pool and sha around and then
- 43:42Speaker 2: water would just be spilling out of the pool. So
- 43:51Speaker 2: that's pretty funny.
- 43:53Speaker 7: Do you know, do you know where the really bad
- 43:54Speaker 7: neighborhoods of New York are?
- 43:56Speaker 10: You?
- 43:56Speaker 2: No idea? I know, I drove through. I've driven through
- 44:00Speaker 2: th like some bad neighborhoods and like Queens and like, uh,
- 44:06Speaker 2: like I dream of one recently that was like it
- 44:09Speaker 2: was in like Long Island City. My way of gauging
- 44:12Speaker 2: it is is seeing a large gathering of people and
- 44:17Speaker 2: then just nothing around them. You're like, oh, that's their corner, right,
- 44:21Speaker 2: like no, like there's no cars, there's no business here,
- 44:24Speaker 2: like there's nothing around them, and like, oh, they've shut
- 44:27Speaker 2: down that entire place of living, like no one wants
- 44:29Speaker 2: to live there.
- 44:30Speaker 7: I see.
- 44:31Speaker 2: So that's how I usually.
- 44:32Speaker 7: Gauge it is.
- 44:33Speaker 2: If it's not a busy area. East New York is
- 44:38Speaker 2: bad like Upper East Side, no, no, no.
- 44:41Speaker 7: Out in Brooklyn.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, when you go way out that's where Derek
- 44:46Speaker 2: Dresser's from. Really Yeah makes sense?
- 44:50Speaker 7: Yeah, I get that. Yeah, got it.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Have you ever been in a bad neighborhood Francis.
- 44:57Speaker 7: Yeah, I've been in bad neighborhoods, But as I said,
- 45:00Speaker 7: I'm starting to think that people really like to you know,
- 45:07Speaker 7: they like to play up the badness more.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Wow. As the thing is, I have a hard time
- 45:13Speaker 2: understanding what's a bad neighborhood because like I've been in
- 45:16Speaker 2: I've been in train stops where I'm at the train
- 45:19Speaker 2: station and it's me and only crackheads. But I wouldn't
- 45:22Speaker 2: say it's a bad I'm like, I don't give a
- 45:23Speaker 2: shit about those guys. No, they're not gonna fucking do anything.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Do you ever think about scream one inch away from
- 45:30Speaker 2: my face?
- 45:31Speaker 7: Do you ever think if you got if someone were
- 45:32Speaker 7: trying to mug you, would you pretend to give them
- 45:37Speaker 7: your wallet and then at the last second grab their
- 45:41Speaker 7: arm and get risk control and wrestle it?
- 45:47Speaker 2: Now?
- 45:48Speaker 7: Is there any world if someone pulled a gun on
- 45:51Speaker 7: you you would think, I'm going to try to figure
- 45:53Speaker 7: out a way to take the gun. No, And then
- 45:57Speaker 7: my question is legally, if I'm man to do that
- 46:01Speaker 7: and then I took the gun and then I shot
- 46:03Speaker 7: the person dead.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Yeah, I wouldn't do that.
- 46:06Speaker 7: Am I in trouble?
- 46:07Speaker 2: No? Definitely not.
- 46:08Speaker 7: That's still self defense even though he doesn't have a
- 46:11Speaker 7: gun anymore, and I do.
- 46:13Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that's still self defense. I've taken he's
- 46:15Speaker 2: still attacking you, and you have the gun. It's self defense.
- 46:17Speaker 7: Well what if he's like, oh, I'm so sorry, I
- 46:23Speaker 7: give up.
- 46:24Speaker 2: I give up now? Yeah, I mean you.
- 46:27Speaker 7: Should have said that. You should have thought of that
- 46:28Speaker 7: a while ago.
- 46:29Speaker 2: Pop pop, And now it just sounds like murder. That's murder.
- 46:32Speaker 2: But I earned the murder. No, I don't think that's
- 46:34Speaker 2: how it works. I think it is how it works.
- 46:36Speaker 2: I think I think you might be right. I think
- 46:37Speaker 2: it is. I think you can that. I could just
- 46:40Speaker 2: say I would do that.
- 46:41Speaker 7: I took the gun in a struggle and then in
- 46:44Speaker 7: the struggle I it went off and he died.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I wouldn't.
- 46:47Speaker 7: The problem is there are closed cameras everywhere now, especially.
- 46:53Speaker 2: If you have the guy in a situation where you've
- 46:55Speaker 2: managed to disarm him, you have the gun and then
- 46:58Speaker 2: he's like on his knee and you shoot him execution style.
- 47:02Speaker 7: Well, what if I, at first I say any last words,
- 47:08Speaker 7: I think turn around, it's probably murder.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but I don't know, because there's scenarios where like
- 47:15Speaker 2: people's houses get broken into and then well outside of
- 47:18Speaker 2: the place where it's like they have the standard ground laws,
- 47:20Speaker 2: like if you're in I don't do those.
- 47:21Speaker 7: Tell me what that means.
- 47:23Speaker 2: I think Stanyard ground laws are if someone breaks in
- 47:25Speaker 2: your house, you can kill them. Yes, right, I'll look
- 47:28Speaker 2: it up. I don't know if I'm right about that. Yeah,
- 47:31Speaker 2: I think that's there's a lot of those states. Texas
- 47:34Speaker 2: is one of those. Texas, Florida, Florida's one. Oh wow,
- 47:38Speaker 2: twenty eight states allow there's no duty.
- 47:42Speaker 7: Wait.
- 47:42Speaker 2: Laws in twenty eight states and Puerto Rico allow that
- 47:45Speaker 2: there is no duty to retreat an attacker in any
- 47:47Speaker 2: place in which one is lawfully present. I don't know
- 47:50Speaker 2: what that means. In New York, you can use physical
- 47:55Speaker 2: force to defend the premises.
- 47:56Speaker 7: Dude, I don't think you have to. I think stand
- 47:58Speaker 7: your ground means you don't even have to be in
- 48:00Speaker 7: your home. That's what that sounds like. If I was
- 48:03Speaker 7: in someone turns at you and you're just standing on
- 48:05Speaker 7: the sidewalk, it's not your job back up. If they
- 48:08Speaker 7: come at you and you're just standing there, you can
- 48:11Speaker 7: shoot them dead. I stood my ground, by I'm fine?
- 48:14Speaker 7: Is now?
- 48:14Speaker 2: What happened? That's what happened to de Baby and Walmart?
- 48:17Speaker 7: Did it happen to de Baby?
- 48:19Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't know what down. I don't know what
- 48:21Speaker 2: went down in that Walmart. I don't know what happened
- 48:23Speaker 2: on that freeway. He said, go to that baby. He's
- 48:26Speaker 2: back now. Yeah, but isn't he in trouble right now?
- 48:29Speaker 7: No?
- 48:30Speaker 2: Oh no, Debaby shot someone into Walmart, for sure. But
- 48:34Speaker 2: I think he got off on self defense, right, which
- 48:38Speaker 2: is crazy m hm, cause I think I would be like,
- 48:41Speaker 2: let's take this outside.
- 48:41Speaker 7: Of the walmart. I agree, I agree.
- 48:47Speaker 2: But yeah, I don't know. Like that's the thing, like people,
- 48:49Speaker 2: all these people have guns, which I'm not like pro
- 48:52Speaker 2: or anti gun, but having a gun in your apartment
- 48:55Speaker 2: and then someone breaks into your apartment, how does that go?
- 48:58Speaker 2: You just kill them? That would be kind of fucked right.
- 49:02Speaker 2: I would probably be like, hey, I have a gun,
- 49:05Speaker 2: let's take this outside so I can kill you outside. Yeah.
- 49:07Speaker 7: I don't want to clean up. I don't want to
- 49:09Speaker 7: clean you up.
- 49:09Speaker 2: I don't want your ghost haunting my house.
- 49:11Speaker 7: Yeah, you can't exactly call a task wrap yeah to
- 49:15Speaker 7: come take care of the body, because.
- 49:16Speaker 2: You know, like they're not cleaning up with the authorities arrive,
- 49:19Speaker 2: they probably take the body, assume.
- 49:21Speaker 7: Eventually, but they're gonna take a lot of pictures and fingerprints. Yeah,
- 49:25Speaker 7: they're gonna they're gonna they're not taking their shoes off
- 49:27Speaker 7: when they come now and then.
- 49:28Speaker 2: But then also you have to clean the blood and ship.
- 49:30Speaker 7: Oh yeah, you're gonna need a maid for that.
- 49:35Speaker 2: I would it would come down to the really the
- 49:37Speaker 2: last second for me to shoot somebody, Like I'd have
- 49:40Speaker 2: to be like, you're gonna make I'm gonna have to
- 49:43Speaker 2: shoot you.
- 49:43Speaker 7: I don't want to do this.
- 49:44Speaker 2: I don't don't. Don't make me shoot you.
- 49:47Speaker 7: Please, don't make me do this.
- 49:49Speaker 2: The safety off of the gun.
- 49:50Speaker 7: Do you know a good cleaning lady?
- 49:52Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Please refer me someone. Or let's take this
- 49:59Speaker 2: out to the street, let's take this outside.
- 50:02Speaker 7: But that's just a journey. You're you're adding curveballs and
- 50:05Speaker 7: variables into that moment.
- 50:09Speaker 2: Well, the thing is, if you have a gun and
- 50:12Speaker 2: someone breaks into your house and it's someone like, if
- 50:15Speaker 2: they flee, flee, I'm not going to chase you and
- 50:18Speaker 2: she can kill you. And if they don't flee, it
- 50:22Speaker 2: means they're probably and if they're like still coming at
- 50:24Speaker 2: you when you have the gun, they're probably on drugs. Right,
- 50:28Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:29Speaker 7: That's a big assumption.
- 50:30Speaker 2: You don't know. If you point a gun at someone,
- 50:32Speaker 2: the normal sober mind is going to say, oh shit,
- 50:36Speaker 2: time to do what this person says.
- 50:37Speaker 7: Or they're calling your bluff and they think you're a bitch.
- 50:41Speaker 2: And in that scenario, I'm putting fucking five in the chest.
- 50:43Speaker 7: Damn dude. Oh and how are we doing on time?
- 50:50Speaker 2: Whoa fuck? Damn it bruh, We're having a good conversation.
- 50:56Speaker 2: You keep on. Sorry, I'm sorry, I'm exhausted. I'm exhausted,
- 51:00Speaker 2: but five there, I know.
- 51:01Speaker 7: But like I'm falling asleep.
- 51:02Speaker 2: Well stay awake. I'm trying. This is the easiest job, sitting.
- 51:06Speaker 7: Up higher and higher. It's because i ate so many
- 51:09Speaker 7: chocolate covered almonds and I'm crashing.
- 51:11Speaker 2: O my god, and then chocolate covered all minds. I did,
- 51:17Speaker 2: I am, I had too many. You're allowed to be tired,
- 51:20Speaker 2: but I would have been fine.
- 51:22Speaker 7: I am dying if I if you let me right
- 51:25Speaker 7: now and I were to lie down here, I would
- 51:27Speaker 7: be asleep in thirteen guarantee.
- 51:29Speaker 2: You wouldn't I guarantee if we.
- 51:32Speaker 10: Yeah, dude, if I if I were to eat almonds,
- 51:38Speaker 10: all chocolate covered almonds all day, every day and got
- 51:41Speaker 10: into bed at like ten pm, and I'd be like, man,
- 51:43Speaker 10: I cannot sleepily balanced.
- 51:46Speaker 7: My blood sugar is incredibly careful. It's a machine balance. Yeah.
- 51:51Speaker 7: And if I go too high, go too low, it's
- 51:53Speaker 7: a problem. I get sleepy, immediately sleepy.
- 51:56Speaker 2: I don't get sleepy from any food.
- 51:58Speaker 7: I have a show tonight. I have a fucking ten
- 52:00Speaker 7: thirty five at the seller, which means eleven, which means.
- 52:04Speaker 2: So you're gonna miss the end of game seven, I'm
- 52:06Speaker 2: gonna take off the cup. You're gonna tape it? Sure?
- 52:11Speaker 7: What's wrong with taping it?
- 52:12Speaker 2: That's never worked ever?
- 52:14Speaker 7: Only for you because you're on Twitter and shit all
- 52:16Speaker 7: the time.
- 52:16Speaker 2: My dad used to tape the games all the time,
- 52:18Speaker 2: and we would find out every single time.
- 52:21Speaker 7: Because you're getting text messages and stuff. People don't text
- 52:24Speaker 7: me anymore.
- 52:24Speaker 2: In New York. You can hear just based on the
- 52:26Speaker 2: vibe of a city around you.
- 52:28Speaker 7: You know, maybe others must have won, But do you
- 52:30Speaker 7: live in a heavily Canadian neighborhood of New York?
- 52:33Speaker 2: I think I live in in a heavily anti Panther neighborhood.
- 52:37Speaker 2: I'm not even kidding, really, because who.
- 52:39Speaker 7: Do you want to win?
- 52:40Speaker 2: The oilers? Obviously oil is because when the Rangers were
- 52:45Speaker 2: playing the Panthers, I picked up on this. The Rangers
- 52:48Speaker 2: were playing the Panthers, and the Rangers scored, and I
- 52:51Speaker 2: heard like four different apartments.
- 52:53Speaker 7: That is that. You're gonna answer your own question here.
- 52:56Speaker 7: Why is that not lend any credence to your theory
- 53:01Speaker 7: that New York is an anti Panthers neighborhood.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Because if you're a Rangers fan, you don't like the Panthers,
- 53:08Speaker 2: so obviously.
- 53:08Speaker 7: You will want But of course they're gonna cheer when
- 53:11Speaker 7: the Rangers score. It's New York.
- 53:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so if you're a Rangers fan, you don't like
- 53:15Speaker 2: the Panthers unless you're a fake Rangers fan.
- 53:20Speaker 7: But who's to say that they care more about the
- 53:22Speaker 7: Rangers or the Panthers or the Who's ever.
- 53:24Speaker 2: Lost in the semi finals of any sport and been like, well,
- 53:27Speaker 2: I hope the team that beat us goes on to
- 53:29Speaker 2: win it all. That's just basic, bro, that's basically happened. Yeah,
- 53:34Speaker 2: if you're fucking lunatic, it's definitely so you're a par
- 53:36Speaker 2: Panthers fan. No, I'm an Oilers guy, exactly. Everyone wants
- 53:43Speaker 2: the oil Also, who doesn't want to see the Oilers
- 53:46Speaker 2: reverse sweep the Panthers Exactly, That's what we want. Yeah, which,
- 53:49Speaker 2: we can't even be talking about this right now because
- 53:50Speaker 2: it's already happened. I can't believe it. I can't believe
- 53:54Speaker 2: they pulled it off. I have a wager placed. Well,
- 53:57Speaker 2: I can't even talk we can't talk about any of
- 53:59Speaker 2: this useless, useless speak.
- 54:01Speaker 7: Yeah, get out of here with that.
- 54:03Speaker 2: Well, what we really can't talk about is that ball
- 54:04Speaker 2: is sneaking up on us like a thief in the night.
- 54:07Speaker 2: The ball football football. Yeah, it's like two months away,
- 54:11Speaker 2: Come on, it is.
- 54:12Speaker 7: We got last summer, dude.
- 54:14Speaker 2: July, August, September. It starts in September, what like two
- 54:20Speaker 2: months away from?
- 54:21Speaker 7: Good Times ahead, pal, Yeah, times ahead?
- 54:23Speaker 2: Yeah, damn dude. You see that Trevor Lawrence just signed
- 54:27Speaker 2: like the biggest quarterback deal. Is that right? Seems like really.
- 54:32Speaker 7: No, he's big time, dude. He's so tough, he's old.
- 54:36Speaker 2: He's tough, he is tough. He's tough, really tough. He
- 54:39Speaker 2: plays through injuries, bad ones too. He's tough as nails.
- 54:44Speaker 2: But I don't know if he's like two hundred and
- 54:46Speaker 2: seventy five million dollar contract tough as nails.
- 54:50Speaker 7: Sometimes these contracts work out.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Especially when you got Mac Jones on the Bench's.
- 54:53Speaker 7: Jalen Brown's got the max contract for the Celtics next
- 54:57Speaker 7: year when's Eastern Conference Finals, MVP Finals, MVP Celtics win
- 55:02Speaker 7: the playoffs.
- 55:03Speaker 2: Joe Burrow gets the biggest NFL contract ever, plays three
- 55:09Speaker 2: games the next season injured. Yeah, angles won't even make
- 55:13Speaker 2: the playoffs.
- 55:13Speaker 7: Damn. Look it can go both ways.
- 55:16Speaker 2: I'm actually excited to watch the Bengals this year. I
- 55:18Speaker 2: hope they're good. Me too, need somebody to beat Patrick Mahomes.
- 55:21Speaker 2: And I don't think the Bills are gonna do it. No, No,
- 55:26Speaker 2: I don't really even know what other teams are. I
- 55:28Speaker 2: think Travis Kelsey's gonna suck this year. I think he
- 55:31Speaker 2: probably won't play that much. He's old.
- 55:34Speaker 7: He'll do a gronk type.
- 55:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I think he'll play probably like save him for
- 55:37Speaker 2: the playoffs, fifty the games, Yeah, limit his snap. The
- 55:42Speaker 2: Eagles in theory should be good. But with Sirianni in
- 55:45Speaker 2: that locker room, I mean right, who can say he's awful?
- 55:50Speaker 2: He's the worst. I hate him the worst. I hate Sirianni.
- 55:53Speaker 2: He's a thug.
- 55:56Speaker 7: Where do you want to go outside of the United States?
- 56:00Speaker 7: Is there anywhere you're dying to visit? Patagonia?
- 56:03Speaker 2: I want to go to Patagonia really bad. I want
- 56:04Speaker 2: to go to I want to go to Rome.
- 56:08Speaker 7: Interesting.
- 56:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I want to go to Greece. I want to
- 56:11Speaker 2: go to Australia.
- 56:12Speaker 7: What do you want to do in Greece.
- 56:14Speaker 2: Just see it Parthenon swim in the Ocean.
- 56:17Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 56:18Speaker 2: I want to go to Venice.
- 56:20Speaker 7: I wouldn't.
- 56:20Speaker 2: I've heard it's overrated too, I'm so packed and gross.
- 56:25Speaker 2: Yeah skip Venice. I don't want to go there.
- 56:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 56:30Speaker 2: I want to go to Patagonia. That's probably top. I
- 56:32Speaker 2: would like to go to Mexico. I want to go
- 56:33Speaker 2: to the Bahamas. I'm going to go to the Bahamas
- 56:34Speaker 2: next year.
- 56:35Speaker 7: It's a lot of places. I'm going to the Bahamas
- 56:37Speaker 7: to go to Bahamas.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't realize Roam went to the Bahamas like
- 56:43Speaker 2: two weeks ago. I don't even know if you know that.
- 56:45Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not kidding. Did you know that?
- 56:48Speaker 7: I think vaguely I knew.
- 56:49Speaker 2: Yeah, he went to the Bahamas like two weeks ago,
- 56:51Speaker 2: and he texted me and I was like he was.
- 56:52Speaker 2: I was like where are you? And He's like, the Bahamas.
- 56:54Speaker 2: I was like really, it's like, dude, it was a
- 56:55Speaker 2: two hour flight nothing. Yeah, that's crazy. It was faster hours.
- 57:00Speaker 2: He said it was faster than Florida. What. Yeah, because
- 57:04Speaker 2: you just you just go on the ocean the whole time.
- 57:06Speaker 2: You don't ever go over land, right, So you must
- 57:09Speaker 2: just cook down there.
- 57:10Speaker 7: Wow damn.
- 57:11Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean that's our next trip. We're already
- 57:14Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not a fan of that. But the
- 57:16Speaker 2: next we already had the plan for the next trip.
- 57:17Speaker 2: We're going to the Bahamas. Bone fishing. Bone fishing. That's
- 57:20Speaker 2: so hard. It's supposed to be the hardest. It's so
- 57:22Speaker 2: hard live fishing. When I went the Fish of a
- 57:25Speaker 2: thousand casts, it's just one of those things where like,
- 57:28Speaker 2: you know you did that. Yeah, really, no funny. I
- 57:34Speaker 2: got you though, I don't know you've all You've done
- 57:36Speaker 2: a bunch of weird ship. I surprised me.
- 57:39Speaker 7: Finally got them.
- 57:40Speaker 2: You see that on fastest fish in the one of
- 57:43Speaker 2: the fastest fish in the world.
- 57:44Speaker 7: That's what they say. But when we went, they were
- 57:48Speaker 7: they were like kind of lazy that day.
- 57:50Speaker 2: That would be awesome. It's a good day.
- 57:52Speaker 7: Yeah, bonefish, you fish.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Little like shrimp flies.
- 57:56Speaker 7: Yep, that's what we were throwing.
- 57:58Speaker 2: I was watching a video of a dude fish doing it,
- 58:00Speaker 2: and then they saw a barrakuda and he was like,
- 58:02Speaker 2: I'm gonna put on my my uh my metal leader
- 58:08Speaker 2: like he has like a m hm and he put
- 58:10Speaker 2: that on. He called the Barrakuda and it was so sick.
- 58:13Speaker 7: I've been snorkeling before and seeing barracuda it.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Was scary a little bit. There was like a period
- 58:18Speaker 2: of time where barracuda was like one of my biggest fears. Yeah,
- 58:21Speaker 2: and then you realize that they're like not that big.
- 58:23Speaker 7: No, Well, there's also there are barracuda that are like that,
- 58:27Speaker 7: and then they are the barracuda in the sort of
- 58:33Speaker 7: rivers in like South America. Yeah, that I am more.
- 58:37Speaker 7: Those are piranhas. I'm more afraid of piranhas than i
- 58:41Speaker 7: am barracuda, that's for sure.
- 58:44Speaker 2: My neighbor growing up had a like a what is
- 58:48Speaker 2: it called when they when you kill a fish and
- 58:50Speaker 2: then they like stuff it or some shit they taxidermy. Yeah,
- 58:53Speaker 2: he had a taxidermy? Does that the correct way is it?
- 58:57Speaker 2: And he had it like in his like office or
- 58:59Speaker 2: something thing, And I remember I would see it and
- 59:01Speaker 2: it had big gass teeth and I'd be like, that
- 59:02Speaker 2: is so fucking scary.
- 59:03Speaker 7: Yeah, they're scary. There was a movie I believe called
- 59:06Speaker 7: Piranha there is.
- 59:08Speaker 2: I think it's kind of like a spin off of Jaws,
- 59:10Speaker 2: isn't it. M I had titties in it because it
- 59:14Speaker 2: isn't the but isn't the poster like the exact same
- 59:17Speaker 2: thing as the Jaws poster. But it's a lady with titties.
- 59:20Speaker 7: Oh really?
- 59:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I'm pretty sure the titties are heavily advertised
- 59:25Speaker 2: for that movie.
- 59:26Speaker 9: I remember.
- 59:27Speaker 2: I always see that movie on the on red box,
- 59:30Speaker 2: like in the grocery store. Yeah, yeah, piranha. I see,
- 59:36Speaker 2: well we're not done just yet.
- 59:37Speaker 7: Why not.
- 59:38Speaker 2: Got to take a look at the piranha. Yeah. I
- 59:41Speaker 2: used to always see this in the grocery store and
- 59:43Speaker 2: stop and stare.
- 59:44Speaker 7: Show show me the cover.
- 59:47Speaker 2: Oh yeah, very similar to Jaws, Jaws esque, except instead
- 59:52Speaker 2: of one chark, she is like fifteen piranhas.
- 59:55Speaker 7: They're quite small.
- 59:57Speaker 2: They're very small.
- 59:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: And another one things that you really just don't need
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: to be scared of unless you're floating out in the
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: center of the ocean. It's a comedy. It's got a
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: five out of ten on IMDb.
- 1:00:10Speaker 7: Great.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: Have you ever seen the alternate? The alternate h cover
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: dass ass instead of titties. They really they really got
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: their money's worth it.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: They they knew how to cover their.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Let's do a secondary angle we're gonna want to get
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: a nass shot in here, all right. That has been
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: son of a boy that Hey, guys, I'm gonna be
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: in Austin, Texas in a couple of weeks. Uh the
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: Vulcan Vulcan Gas Company gets gas company top spot right
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: close by the mothership. Probably gonna have to stop by
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: see the fellas. Those sasquatch website dot com for those tickets,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: Thank you, goodbye.
