- 0:00Speaker 1: Okay, hear me out, okay? Every once in a while,
- 0:02Speaker 1: everybody on the show has something else to present to
- 0:04Speaker 1: the show. And I don't know how to get to it.
- 0:07Speaker 1: So I know Peyton is working on something. And Kyle
- 0:10Speaker 1: and Peyton are giving me grief for saying, what are
- 0:12Speaker 1: you working on, Peyton?
- 0:13Speaker 2: So I don't know. It's something to do with dating.
- 0:15Speaker 2: That's okay. I'm pulling back the curtain. What is it
- 0:17Speaker 2: that you have to bring to the show?
- 0:18Speaker 3: Well, relationships are hard sometimes, you know?
- 0:21Speaker 4: That's true.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Sometimes.
- 0:22Speaker 5: They are hard.
- 0:23Speaker 2: They can be difficult.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Yeah, and a psychologist had said that there is a
- 0:28Speaker 3: hack To like creating one of the best and strongest
- 0:31Speaker 3: relationships that you could possibly be in. And it all
- 0:33Speaker 3: starts with asking just one question before you start the week.
- 0:38Speaker 3: And the question is, what's going to be the hardest
- 0:41Speaker 3: thing on your plate this week? You just have to
- 0:43Speaker 3: ask that question to your partner and see what it is.
- 0:47Speaker 3: See what's stressing out your partner before it happens.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Why did you make that noise?
- 0:51Speaker 3: Right.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Because that would be hard for me to answer. That's
- 0:54Speaker 1: the hardest thing. What's the hardest thing on your plate
- 0:56Speaker 1: this week? Answering that question. I would probably say, I
- 0:58Speaker 1: don't really want to talk about it if somebody asks
- 1:00Speaker 1: me that.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I think what Peyton is saying, you should ask Blake that.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Well, let's call her and ask her that.
- 1:05Speaker 2: Let me do it. That's what you got to do.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Call her. See what's.
- 1:11Speaker 6: Up.
- 1:14Speaker 2: Okay, let's see.
- 1:18Speaker 4: First of all, tell her that Peyton's working on something.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Your call has been forwarded.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Oh!
- 1:22Speaker 2: How about that?
- 1:24Speaker 7: I got it.
- 1:25Speaker 4: That was her answer.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Her hardest thing on her plate this week is you,
- 1:28Speaker 2: John Jay.
- 1:29Speaker 4: She can't deal with it right now.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Every week. That's cold-blooded.
- 1:44Speaker 7: Hello?
- 1:45Speaker 2: Good morning, beautiful.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Hi.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Can I borrow you for one minute on the radio?
- 1:51Speaker 2: I know you're busy.
- 1:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Are you doing something?
- 1:53Speaker 1: Hello.
- 1:56Speaker 2: Are you doing something?
- 1:58Speaker 7: I'm at LGO. I was ordering breakfast, and I just
- 2:01Speaker 7: found out that I was supposed to be on a
- 2:02Speaker 7: marketing meeting, but I can do that in just a second. Okay.
- 2:06Speaker 2: What's the hardest thing I can help you with this week?
- 2:10Speaker 6: The hardest thing?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:13Speaker 7: You can help me get people to download.
- 2:18Speaker 7: That's the hardest thing to have going on.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Okay. Look at you guys. Look at that. Look at
- 2:24Speaker 2: this teamwork in this relationship. Yeah, I love it.
- 2:28Speaker 7: Can you help me out?
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. That's it. I'll ask people right now. It's
- 2:31Speaker 2: a great app. People should have it anyway. It's a
- 2:33Speaker 2: great app. And how would you explain the app? Like,
- 2:35Speaker 2: what is the app?
- 2:36Speaker 6: It's an app for dog people, and it's amazing.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Okay.
- 2:40Speaker 6: It's personalized to your dog, and you sign up on
- 2:44Speaker 6: Apple or Google Play, and once you get your app downloaded,
- 2:49Speaker 6: you download your dog's information, and we have this wonderful
- 2:55Speaker 6: ginger that will answer questions.
- 2:58Speaker 7: Based on your dog's profile.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Okay, elevator pitch.
- 3:01Speaker 7: Super exciting.
- 3:01Speaker 2: Elevator pitch.
- 3:02Speaker 7: Okay.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:03Speaker 7: That's it.
- 3:03Speaker 2: That's the elevator.
- 3:04Speaker 6: It's the app for dog people.
- 3:06Speaker 7: Everybody should have it.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Go to your meeting, your marketing meeting. Thank you for
- 3:09Speaker 1: jumping on the air with us. Have a great day.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Love you.
- 3:12Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Love you. Bye-bye. All right, Peyton, so how'd that go?
- 3:16Speaker 1: The hardest thing that you're saying, that successful relationships, ask
- 3:19Speaker 1: this question. What's the hardest thing on your plate this
- 3:22Speaker 1: week that could help you with?
- 3:23Speaker 3: Yeah, like what's going on? Because then you can't automatically
- 3:26Speaker 3: like take their bad mood personally if you know exactly
- 3:28Speaker 3: what they're going.
- 3:28Speaker 2: On throughout the week.
- 3:29Speaker 3: And it helps you know when they need support or
- 3:32Speaker 3: if they need space. So basically it's like, okay, you're
- 3:35Speaker 3: stressed out. You're not mad at me. We communicated like
- 3:38Speaker 3: we're good. So I feel like this is really good
- 3:39Speaker 3: relationship advice. Like most marriage advice is like all the
- 3:42Speaker 3: same stuff. Don't go to bed mad. Communication is key.
- 3:45Speaker 3: But like this, I feel like you can prevent arguments
- 3:48Speaker 3: through this.
- 3:49Speaker 2: That's good advice. So we should get into good marriage advice.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Yeah, good.
- 3:53Speaker 5: Things that actually work, even if it's.
- 3:55Speaker 2: A little bit weird.
- 3:57Speaker 1: By the way, the don't go to bed mad thing,
- 3:59Speaker 1: isn't that because in case they die in their sleep,
- 4:01Speaker 1: you're mad?
- 4:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Because I go to bed mad all the time. I
- 4:04Speaker 2: don't like to go to bed mad. I don't like
- 4:06Speaker 2: to either. It keeps me up, but I wake up
- 4:07Speaker 2: and I'm like, eh, it wasn't that bad.
- 4:09Speaker 4: That's how I feel.
- 4:09Speaker 3: Sometimes you just need some sleep. Sometimes you do have
- 4:12Speaker 3: to go to bed mad because nothing good happens when
- 4:14Speaker 3: you're tired and you're angry.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Don't they say before you have a big fight, you
- 4:18Speaker 4: should go eat something? Because most of the time, if
- 4:20Speaker 4: you're a guy, you're probably just hungry.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:23Speaker 4: When guys are being little bitches, just go say, go
- 4:25Speaker 4: get yourself a sandwich and then we can talk.
- 4:27Speaker 3: Exactly. That's a weird advice that works.
- 4:30Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Hold on a minute.
- 4:32Speaker 4: I am ticked off, but would you like a sub sandwich?
- 4:37Speaker 1: So what's a weird piece of relationship or marriage advice
- 4:41Speaker 1: somebody gave you that actually works? Regina, what is a
- 4:44Speaker 1: weird piece of relationship or marriage advice that somebody gave
- 4:47Speaker 1: you that actually works?
- 4:49Speaker 5: Yes. Actually, the weirdest piece of advice that I've ever
- 4:53Speaker 5: gotten has actually come from my own mother. And when
- 4:56Speaker 5: she told me I was a little sketched out, but
- 4:58Speaker 5: she basically said that if you want to stay married,
- 5:03Speaker 5: give yourself one night a month to get divorced. And
- 5:07Speaker 5: I know it sounds like truly even saying it out loud.
- 5:10Speaker 5: I'm like, that sounds so crazy, dude. But basically, she
- 5:14Speaker 5: basically was like, hey, girl.
- 5:16Speaker 7: What you got to do is you have to go
- 5:18Speaker 7: to separate bars, you have.
- 5:19Speaker 5: To sit alone, and you have to pretend that you're single, and, like,
- 5:23Speaker 5: just don't text them, don't do anything. And honestly, and
- 5:27Speaker 5: I'm telling, and again, I thought it was crazy, but.
- 5:31Speaker 5: After doing it now with my husband for, like, you know,
- 5:35Speaker 5: the first couple years, it's pretty nice. It just reminds
- 5:39Speaker 5: us that, like, hey, we're still hot. We're still, like, cool. Like,
- 5:44Speaker 5: we still got game. And we don't go home with anybody.
- 5:47Speaker 5: So it's nothing crazy.
- 5:48Speaker 7: It's just one night.
- 5:50Speaker 5: But the nicest part is going home then to my
- 5:52Speaker 5: husband to just, like... Tell him everything that happened and
- 5:56Speaker 5: he feels really good because obviously the girls are hitting
- 5:59Speaker 5: on him. And I feel really good because, yeah, so
- 6:03Speaker 5: it's really, really nice. And TBH, my parents, they have
- 6:06Speaker 5: been married 37 years and they have still been doing this.
- 6:10Speaker 2: They're also swingers.
- 6:11Speaker 5: I didn't think you were going to go with that.
- 6:15Speaker 5: They do not go home with anybody.
- 6:17Speaker 4: I would not try that even once because, you know.
- 6:21Speaker 4: My wife, Stacy, she'd find like a nice guy, a
- 6:22Speaker 4: couple billionaires somewhere.
- 6:24Speaker 5: I thought you were going to say it would remind
- 6:26Speaker 5: you how terrible it would have to.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Be to be out back dating again.
- 6:29Speaker 7: Right.
- 6:30Speaker 2: I would be like men are so annoying. Get away, please.
- 6:33Speaker 2: So you could like just appreciate your position more. Once
- 6:35Speaker 2: a month seems like a lot. It does seem like
- 6:38Speaker 2: a lot. I'd be like, hey, come on. She goes,
- 6:39Speaker 2: how'd it go? I'm like, great. You know, totally. We
- 6:42Speaker 2: had sex. She'd be like, what? Oh, my bad.
- 6:44Speaker 5: But it's really like tested our relationship. It's really made
- 6:47Speaker 5: us stronger because we never will say anything. You know,
- 6:51Speaker 5: we don't go with them. So we're always like, you
- 6:52Speaker 5: know what, babe, I love you. And honestly, it's a
- 6:55Speaker 5: good test because if they do end up going to
- 6:57Speaker 5: somebody else, it was never meant for you.
- 7:00Speaker 7: True.
- 7:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but I test a lot. Once a month, you're
- 7:02Speaker 2: going to test. Do it again, Jessica. I don't, I don't.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It wasn't, my thing was like, I had sex with her. What?
- 7:08Speaker 2: You're not supposed to do that. Oh, my bad. I misunderstood.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Let's try next month. I'll try to do better next month.
- 7:15Speaker 2: All right, Regina, thanks for calling in.
- 7:18Speaker 1: What is a weird piece of relationship advice or marriage
- 7:22Speaker 1: advice somebody gave you that actually works?
