- 0:09Speaker 2: So excited, Tim, how are you feeling? How's faith? I
- 0:12Speaker 2: know you guys have been kind of dealing with some
- 0:14Speaker 2: health issues.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Everybody okay, Airing's good, We're you know, we're cooking, cooking
- 0:20Speaker 1: right along. All back to one hundred percent and uh,
- 0:23Speaker 1: getting ready for the tour. Excited, the band's excited. I'm excited. Uh,
- 0:27Speaker 1: you know, my kids are doing great, Face doing great. Audrey,
- 0:31Speaker 1: my youngest is out playing shows, so we get to
- 0:34Speaker 1: catch a show of hers every now and then. Last
- 0:36Speaker 1: summer we get this got to spend a month in
- 0:38Speaker 1: Europe being her roadies and following her around. She was
- 0:41Speaker 1: opening for Brandy Carlisle on her European tour, so that
- 0:44Speaker 1: was that was fun for us last year.
- 0:45Speaker 3: So after watching my daughter tour last summer, I.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Get to go back out and tour this year for
- 0:50Speaker 1: for mine and it's it's been a while since we've
- 0:53Speaker 1: done a solid tour because of some of the injuries
- 0:56Speaker 1: and stuff. But we're one hundred percent back now. We've
- 0:59Speaker 1: got you in town in September. But you've also got
- 1:01Speaker 1: some new music as well. Can you tell us about that? Yeah,
- 1:04Speaker 1: we got some new music drop, and we got a
- 1:06Speaker 1: pawn Shop Guitar, which is the name of the tour
- 1:08Speaker 1: and the name of the album that'll be out later
- 1:10Speaker 1: in the year. And Song for America paun Shope Guitar
- 1:13Speaker 1: is really most auto biographical thing that I've ever written.
- 1:16Speaker 1: I wrote it with Tom Douglass and it sort of
- 1:19Speaker 1: tells the story of my journey to Nashville, and I
- 1:21Speaker 1: thought that that's what made it perfect, a perfect song
- 1:24Speaker 1: and a perfect title for the tour, and then Song
- 1:26Speaker 1: for America. It couldn't be a better time for this
- 1:28Speaker 1: song to come out. I think it would be a
- 1:29Speaker 1: great song at any time, but this year in particular
- 1:31Speaker 1: with the twin and fIF anniversary of Our Country, in
- 1:34Speaker 1: the twenty fifth anniversary of nine to eleven, I think
- 1:36Speaker 1: the song we'll resonate with a lot of people. I
- 1:41Speaker 1: hope it resonates with them like it does.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Mean we're talking about your story. Getting in Nashville Country
- 1:45Speaker 2: was a Hall of Fame plast for twenty twenty six.
- 1:48Speaker 3: Oh way to go.
- 1:49Speaker 2: What would you say to that kid from Louisiana that
- 1:51Speaker 2: now you're going to be in the Country Music Hall
- 1:53Speaker 2: of Fame.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Well, I don't even believe it now still, so I
- 1:57Speaker 1: don't think I could talk myself in the younger into
- 2:00Speaker 1: it either. You know, you get in this business. On
- 2:03Speaker 1: one hand, you want to be the biggest scroll in
- 2:05Speaker 1: the world. On the other hand, you think you'll.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Never make it. So it's just that's sort of the
- 2:10Speaker 3: push and pull that you have as an artist going through.
- 2:12Speaker 1: But hall of Fame's never never something on your radar.
- 2:15Speaker 3: And I'm just, I just I can't believe it. I
- 2:19Speaker 3: just can't believe that I've.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Hung around this long, hung in there this long, and
- 2:23Speaker 1: really it's a testament more than anything to my team
- 2:25Speaker 1: of people around me that's always been around me and
- 2:27Speaker 1: helped me throughout my career, because none of this happens
- 2:30Speaker 1: in a vacuum, and it certainly doesn't happen alone.
- 2:33Speaker 2: When you mentioned your team, are you the one handling
- 2:35Speaker 2: like your social media accounts or do you have people
- 2:37Speaker 2: helping you out with that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: I do. I mean I'm involved a bit, but they
- 2:42Speaker 1: don't let me personally do it because they're scared of
- 2:44Speaker 1: what I might do sometimes on instinct.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Okay, well I'll ask you this question, I just saw
- 2:50Speaker 2: a shirtless pick if you posted with your brothers, did
- 2:52Speaker 2: you know what they're doing when they post those pictures?
- 2:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that they're the ones that are working
- 2:57Speaker 1: on that kind of stuff.
- 2:58Speaker 3: But I'm proud of my brothers.
- 3:01Speaker 1: They live in Silly and anytime I get a chance
- 3:04Speaker 1: to hang out and visit with them, it is always fun.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So my actually my younger brother sent that photo to me,
- 3:13Speaker 1: so that's why we posted it.
- 3:15Speaker 3: Show my brothers off.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Every time we talked to you, Tim, I am the
- 3:18Speaker 2: interview on the same exact question. We have to know.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Are we ever going to get another soul.
- 3:22Speaker 3: To soul to our Oh my gosh, wouldn't that be awesome.
- 3:26Speaker 3: I don't know. It's that's a lot of work. That's
- 3:31Speaker 3: a lot of work in floods. I don't know if
- 3:33Speaker 3: I can keep up with faith anymore.
- 3:36Speaker 2: We're excited we got you in town in September. Thank you,
- 3:39Speaker 2: Tim for hanging out with us and taking the time.
- 3:41Speaker 2: We can't wait for the new music and have you
- 3:43Speaker 2: in town.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Thank you, guys. Can't wait to see you
