Mara Shines as Thunder Struggle | Oklahoma City Thunder News
Oklahoma City Thunder fall again in Summer League, losing 104-79 to Golden State, dropping to 0-5—but there’s hope in the rookies. Aday Mara delivers a standout game with 10 points and 9 rebounds, including a key defensive moment against his former Michigan teammate Yaxel Lendeborg. Mara and Bennett Stirtz are building chemistry, with Stirtz scoring 13 and benefiting from Mara’s screens. Despite being outrebounded 46-25, Mara’s rebounding has improved, and he remains optimistic about the team’s growth—even if the wins aren’t coming yet.
