- 0:06Speaker 1: Our dear sweet Gabe is going to become a father
- 0:10Speaker 1: sometime this summer.
- 0:12Speaker 2: And I've never heard you, by the way, you sweet Gabe,
- 0:16Speaker 2: in a sentence that was actually very nice.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Sometimes I just be lying on air anyway.
- 0:20Speaker 1: No, but Gabe, you're going to become a first time
- 0:24Speaker 1: dad in the summer, and in preparation. I do commend
- 0:28Speaker 1: you for this. You went to a fatherhood.
- 0:31Speaker 2: Class about these things. I'm taking multiple see.
- 0:34Speaker 1: It's that it's that little cocky attitude that inspired this.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I fully think that you have forgotten all of the
- 0:43Speaker 1: information that you have learned, you know, in your first class.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Yeah, the finer details, sure, you know, I math, I
- 0:51Speaker 2: didn't know what I was doing her history. I can
- 0:53Speaker 2: remember the dates, that's definitely true. But I remember, you know,
- 0:56Speaker 2: the general idea.
- 0:58Speaker 1: All right, Well that's what you have not shut up about.
- 1:01Speaker 1: How Oh yeah, I'm already the greatest father.
- 1:04Speaker 4: At yet perfect time.
- 1:05Speaker 1: And so I will say this, if you get these
- 1:09Speaker 1: questions correctly, I will not confirm that I think you're
- 1:13Speaker 1: the best at ever, but I will lay off you
- 1:15Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Now, are these questions with factual answers or these Angie, God.
- 1:20Speaker 1: They're like, no, what no, whatever, they're actual. I got
- 1:26Speaker 1: them from a reputable source baby center.
- 1:31Speaker 2: Okay, okay, all right, yeah, I think all right, I'll
- 1:33Speaker 2: take this little all right, I'll take a little quiz here.
- 1:37Speaker 1: How long should you let your newborn cry before responding
- 1:41Speaker 1: pick him up right away instead of letting him cry
- 1:44Speaker 1: five to ten minutes, ten to fifteen minutes until he stops.
- 1:49Speaker 2: Well, in dad class, we learned if you need to
- 1:52Speaker 2: take twenty to thirty minutes because you're getting overly frustrated,
- 1:57Speaker 2: it is better to remove yourself for a little while.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Now that was not an option. Now, well, I am
- 2:02Speaker 2: gonna go with ten to fifteen minutes. And I already
- 2:05Speaker 2: know that that is one hundred percent correct.
- 2:08Speaker 3: That is incorrect.
- 2:09Speaker 1: Do you have a buzzer sound you can hit? How
- 2:12Speaker 1: dare you just give yourself the point?
- 2:14Speaker 4: That answer is definitely right.
- 2:15Speaker 1: No, it's pick him up right away instead of letting
- 2:18Speaker 1: him cry. When a newborn cry, is the best thing
- 2:21Speaker 1: to do is tune in and respond immediately. New babies
- 2:24Speaker 1: crave the comfort of your arms. Don't worry. You can't
- 2:27Speaker 1: spoil a new baby, but you can't teach him a
- 2:30Speaker 1: lot about feeling secure.
- 2:31Speaker 4: There's a lot of caveats.
- 2:33Speaker 3: To that, already failing? All right?
- 2:35Speaker 1: How many times a day does the average newborn eat?
- 2:39Speaker 1: Three meals a day, every four hours, eight to ten
- 2:43Speaker 1: times on the hour, every hour?
- 2:48Speaker 4: Oh? Man, see I do.
- 2:49Speaker 2: They did go over this part in DAN class, but
- 2:52Speaker 2: they were I more paid attention to.
- 2:54Speaker 4: Hey, wash the bottles. You can't have dirty bottles.
- 2:56Speaker 1: No, you don't wash your own water bottle. I don't
- 2:58Speaker 1: want to hear it.
- 2:59Speaker 4: Well, that's why I paid attention. Okay, Uh, you know,
- 3:02Speaker 4: give me nice?
- 3:03Speaker 1: Uh?
- 3:04Speaker 2: How often do I feed my dog every what is it?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, give me give me nice? Every four hours?
- 3:10Speaker 2: And I know that that's right.
- 3:12Speaker 3: That is incorrect.
- 3:14Speaker 1: That's the average newborn eats about eight times a day,
- 3:18Speaker 1: or every two to three hours. Now, obviously every baby
- 3:22Speaker 1: is different.
- 3:23Speaker 4: There's some caveats today.
- 3:24Speaker 1: Okay, but no, your baby's gonna eat more than every
- 3:27Speaker 1: four hours. Your baby's not a dog.
- 3:28Speaker 3: All right, Onto the next.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Which one of these should you use to clean your
- 3:33Speaker 1: baby's umbilical cord?
- 3:35Speaker 3: Rubbing alcohol?
- 3:36Speaker 1: I don't know that nothing. It's best to leave it alone.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Soap and water, baby shampoo.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Uh, just water, is what I learned in Dad class.
- 3:46Speaker 2: Just some nice warm water or nothing incur definitely nothing
- 3:50Speaker 2: or nothing?
- 3:50Speaker 3: Okay, fine, you got that nothing they.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Were taught in dad class. You can like rub around
- 3:55Speaker 2: it kind of. I want to go straight on it. Yes,
- 3:58Speaker 2: did I actually get that wrong?
- 3:59Speaker 1: You did get that right. Most doctors say now to
- 4:02Speaker 1: leave it alone, but keep it clean and dry until
- 4:04Speaker 1: it falls off within a few weeks. Yep, all right,
- 4:06Speaker 1: I think we learned ten days or something most of
- 4:08Speaker 1: the time. Yes, you're one for three. All right, I've
- 4:12Speaker 1: only got two more for you.
- 4:13Speaker 4: Okay.
- 4:14Speaker 1: At what age do most babies sleep through the night?
- 4:17Speaker 3: Three weeks, three.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Months, nine months, two years? Now? God never is not
- 4:25Speaker 1: one of the options, but I respect it, and I
- 4:28Speaker 1: most of the time agree.
- 4:30Speaker 3: But what do you say three weeks, three months, nine months,
- 4:33Speaker 3: two years.
- 4:33Speaker 1: We're quizzing Gabe on if he's ready to be a.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Full My mother said, I did not sleep through the
- 4:39Speaker 2: entire night until I was like fifteen months old. I
- 4:41Speaker 2: was the worst baby of all time. Oh and they
- 4:45Speaker 2: did talk about babies crying at night, and every baby
- 4:48Speaker 2: will go through a phase where they are just going
- 4:51Speaker 2: to cry and take up and cry. And I do
- 4:54Speaker 2: not remember the exact details it's one in the middle,
- 4:58Speaker 2: so give me a big no, how about a big
- 5:01Speaker 2: nine months?
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yes? Correct? Seventy percent of babies sleep through the night,
- 5:08Speaker 1: which means an eight to twelve hour stretch.
- 5:12Speaker 4: All right, Hey, I'm doing all right.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's usually by the time they hit nine months.
- 5:15Speaker 1: However, every baby is different, and Liam was never sleeping
- 5:21Speaker 1: for me. Aiden was a sleeper, so you never know.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But that's the average. All right, and final final question, Gabe.
- 5:27Speaker 4: I gotta get this right.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Oh you really this one? You better get it right.
- 5:32Speaker 1: What is the standard advice on how long after childbirth
- 5:37Speaker 1: you should wait until you and your wife get busy to.
- 5:41Speaker 4: Get another one?
- 5:42Speaker 3: Huh one?
- 5:45Speaker 4: Yeah? I think I know it.
- 5:46Speaker 1: But one week, six weeks, three months, six months.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I thought it's six weeks right, yes, all right, see
- 5:54Speaker 2: I really paid attention to that.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Yeah, but depending on your behavior, I think it's gonna
- 5:58Speaker 1: be much longer for you.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Gabe.
- 6:03Speaker 4: Celebrating life's little victories.
- 6:05Speaker 5: Victory every morning we practice gratitude on Big ninety eight
- 6:09Speaker 5: point seven. If I could, I would keep this feeling
- 6:12Speaker 5: in a blast join busted out when it was someone's
- 6:14Speaker 5: acting hard. I just really needed to win, you know, Sure,
- 6:17Speaker 5: your little victories with us at seven oh one two
- 6:20Speaker 5: eight one eight seven.
- 6:22Speaker 4: Angie, do have a little victory today?
- 6:24Speaker 1: Yes, and it is big back activity related. I went
- 6:29Speaker 1: to CBS yesterday and found the most delicious bag of cookies.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Man, the one day.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Hold on, wasn't it just yesterday we were talking about
- 6:41Speaker 2: Girl Scout cookies.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Hi, no, there's another cookies.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Well, but the Girl Scout cookies were for my kids.
- 6:48Speaker 1: These cookies was a meat.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Oh okay, you got sick of watch it on the house.
- 6:52Speaker 2: These yes your own.
- 6:55Speaker 1: So they are Mexican wedding cookies. And the brand I
- 6:59Speaker 1: think is called I mean Solous, so delicious, and I
- 7:05Speaker 1: finished the bag. Let me be clear, the bag is
- 7:08Speaker 1: not very big and the cookies were not very big. Yeah,
- 7:12Speaker 1: google it my bluff. But I finished the bag of
- 7:17Speaker 1: cookies this morning. Literally when we got into work this morning,
- 7:20Speaker 1: I was like, let me polish shop these Mexican wedding cookies.
- 7:25Speaker 1: But that was a great breakfast. I was very grateful
- 7:28Speaker 1: to start my day with Mexican wedding cookies.
- 7:31Speaker 3: So that's my little victory.
- 7:33Speaker 2: I have found these cookies. Did you have the kind
- 7:36Speaker 2: of bluish green bag or the Yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Yeah, the brutish green bag delicious.
- 7:40Speaker 4: That's wonderful. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Angie. You know what,
- 7:43Speaker 4: you deserve a cookie. I think thank you.
- 7:45Speaker 1: That sounds patronizing. Fun I'm gonna act like you meant
- 7:50Speaker 1: it sincerely. What about you?
- 7:51Speaker 4: It's little victories. I meant that with sincerit.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Okay, good, what's your little victory game?
- 7:56Speaker 2: My little victory? You know, it was so nice yesterday.
- 7:59Speaker 2: I have not been able to do this in so long.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It was so wonderful. I took my dog for a walk.
- 8:04Speaker 2: Now I do that all the time. That's not the
- 8:06Speaker 2: victory part, do you know? It was so nice though.
- 8:08Speaker 2: I just threw on a sweatshirt and a vest and
- 8:13Speaker 2: just got to walk. And I didn't need a jacket.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I didn't need like the winter hat. It was just
- 8:18Speaker 2: nice to just freely walk up beautiful walk about with
- 8:22Speaker 2: my dog.
- 8:22Speaker 4: I didn't have to wear, you know, boots or anything
- 8:24Speaker 4: like that.
- 8:25Speaker 2: It was really really nice to be able to just
- 8:27Speaker 2: walk without like this added weight of all these heavy clothes.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad that you appreciate it too, because today
- 8:33Speaker 1: Mother nature just slapping us in the face.
- 8:35Speaker 2: It doesn't really seem like there's gonna be a whole
- 8:37Speaker 2: lot of dog walking today, that's for sure.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I am officially dating iron Man.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yes, this is I mean, we get to have fun
- 8:53Speaker 2: with the story. I'm glad all is well and that
- 8:55Speaker 2: you know, everyone's feeling better and what have you. But
- 8:57Speaker 2: this is as close to Iron Man as we'll ever get.
- 9:00Speaker 1: One hundred percent. Now, does that mean I'm dating Rappert
- 9:03Speaker 1: Tanny Junior. No, it means I'm still dating Mikey. But yesterday, thankfully,
- 9:10Speaker 1: everything went well. But he has had a bad back
- 9:12Speaker 1: since he was in his early twenties, right, And I
- 9:16Speaker 1: don't know all the technical terms for all the things,
- 9:18Speaker 1: but basically, there's this stimulator thing that he had surgically
- 9:25Speaker 1: implanted into his back a few years ago that you know,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you turn it on and there's like electric pulses and
- 9:32Speaker 1: stuff that helped stop the pain that he feels. Right well,
- 9:36Speaker 1: that battery died on that stimulator he had in his back,
- 9:42Speaker 1: so he'd been experiencing a lot of pain. So he
- 9:44Speaker 1: went through all the things and they're like, we will
- 9:46Speaker 1: give you a new and improved stimulator for your back.
- 9:50Speaker 4: We got a better battery exactly.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Yes, So It's like going from the Iron Man when
- 9:55Speaker 1: he made the soup in the desert yep. So when
- 9:59Speaker 1: he got back in to his own house and got
- 10:01Speaker 1: to do those propertius yes. Right, So yesterday was his
- 10:06Speaker 1: surgery and he went in. Everything went fine, and he
- 10:11Speaker 1: texts me and he says, oh, the battery is now
- 10:14Speaker 1: rechargeable on this one, so I don't have to get
- 10:18Speaker 1: a new surgery time.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So it's the equivalent of when Iron Man just has
- 10:25Speaker 1: the piece in his chest where he can like take
- 10:27Speaker 1: it out and recharge. I'm really like leaning into this.
- 10:31Speaker 1: He's Iron Man thing me too, because then he told
- 10:34Speaker 1: me something that made me think, oh, man, what a loser.
- 10:40Speaker 4: For Mike. What so how this this was my question?
- 10:44Speaker 6: Then?
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so he has this new thing in his back
- 10:46Speaker 2: to help with pain and management ear and it takes
- 10:49Speaker 2: a battery. So I had asked Angie naturally, well, so
- 10:53Speaker 2: what is he like, is there like an outlet in
- 10:56Speaker 2: him to charge it?
- 10:57Speaker 4: Now? What do you have to do?
- 10:59Speaker 1: That's what I was So I was like, do we
- 11:00Speaker 1: plug you in?
- 11:01Speaker 4: So how does this work?
- 11:03Speaker 1: And apparently it works via antenna that is inside his
- 11:09Speaker 1: back with the stimulator and then there's a charger that
- 11:14Speaker 1: is outside of his body and it communicates with the
- 11:16Speaker 1: antenna and that's how it charges. However, in order for
- 11:22Speaker 1: this to work, he has to wear a special fanny pad.
- 11:26Speaker 1: I love this.
- 11:27Speaker 4: I'm a team fanny pack.
- 11:29Speaker 2: You'll catch me wearing a fanny back when I'm walking
- 11:31Speaker 2: my dog all the time.
- 11:33Speaker 1: I like it a fanny pack. Well, then they called
- 11:36Speaker 1: me yesterday to say that he was at a surgery
- 11:38Speaker 1: and that everything went well, you get it, and I
- 11:40Speaker 1: could go get him. I could go pick him up.
- 11:41Speaker 1: And I said, Okay, if I get out of here
- 11:44Speaker 1: at noon, will that be fine?
- 11:47Speaker 3: And the lady on the other one on the other line.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Said, you won't be here till five.
- 11:53Speaker 2: They thought they were gonna have to feed and water
- 11:56Speaker 2: this man for five hours.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And I was like, no, no, no, and is that fine?
- 12:01Speaker 1: And she was like, oh okay, and she sounded so relieved.
- 12:04Speaker 1: So when I picked him up, I told him what
- 12:06Speaker 1: happened and he said, oh, I guess she didn't like
- 12:08Speaker 1: my dead jokes.
- 12:10Speaker 4: They weren't. Don't worry, Mikey.
- 12:12Speaker 2: I have a lady who I have to go visit
- 12:14Speaker 2: every couple of months for baby g doesn't really like
- 12:16Speaker 2: my jokes.
- 12:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right, you're an iron man over here, can
- 12:19Speaker 1: hang out jokes.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I'm dating iron Man.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yes, Pack seven one to eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 12:29Speaker 2: Is there any uh kind of medical thing where you're like, hey,
- 12:33Speaker 2: I'm a little bit of an iron man here. Let
- 12:35Speaker 2: us know this morning, I have seventeen screws in my
- 12:39Speaker 2: left arm. Not nearly as cool as a what I
- 12:42Speaker 2: broke my wrist a handful of years ago. Yeah, yeah,
- 12:44Speaker 2: yeah that is I did not know. Yeah, yeah, I
- 12:48Speaker 2: have like a metal plate in my left arm. Do
- 12:50Speaker 2: you my wrist? I guess yeah. Do you like beep
- 12:54Speaker 2: going through security? I, honest to God, thought that was
- 12:57Speaker 2: going to be a thing, I do believe Eve. At
- 13:00Speaker 2: the start they had mentioned like, hey, this could happen.
- 13:03Speaker 2: I don't think it has yet. Usually it's my seat
- 13:05Speaker 2: belt belt that sets off the security.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Okay, see that's wild, because Mikey has had you know,
- 13:10Speaker 1: the stimulator in his back never gets stuck through.
- 13:13Speaker 3: But every time I get stopped.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Every time I go through security, they stop me and
- 13:17Speaker 1: then they're like, see if something suspect, what's going on? Right?
- 13:21Speaker 1: And it's always like my underarm. I'm like I'm not
- 13:23Speaker 1: smuggling anything in my armpit. That's weird.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Well, charging battery way cooler than you know, steel or
- 13:29Speaker 2: metal or whatever plate in the left arm.
- 13:31Speaker 4: But what is your iron man ability? Let us know?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven
- 13:37Speaker 2: do you have something? And you were like, oh, yeah,
- 13:40Speaker 2: me and iron Man, we'd taken over the world. The
- 13:48Speaker 2: Olympics are underway and it is so fun watching these
- 13:51Speaker 2: athletes do sports that I don't know if i'd be
- 13:53Speaker 2: brave enough to.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Ever do you know, Oh my gosh, dame.
- 13:56Speaker 2: The downhill skiing, the super high jumps, all the back flips,
- 14:01Speaker 2: all the other sports that I probably am not coordinated
- 14:04Speaker 2: enough to do, even though I'm ana lead athlete, right,
- 14:08Speaker 2: it's really just impressive.
- 14:10Speaker 3: My kid, and I mean Liam, the littler one.
- 14:13Speaker 1: We were watching Winter Olympics yesterday and the two events
- 14:16Speaker 1: we were watching was the figure skating in pairs, which,
- 14:21Speaker 1: by the way, Japan won its first medal atver really
- 14:25Speaker 1: at the Winter Olympics in any sport in figure skating
- 14:30Speaker 1: the pairs, and they won the gold. We were very excited.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Liam got a little emotional and like teary eyed even However,
- 14:37Speaker 1: while we were watching. This kid said that doesn't look
- 14:40Speaker 1: so hard. It doesn't look so hard lifting another partner
- 14:45Speaker 1: with bladed shoes right up in the air and spinning them.
- 14:50Speaker 1: But we watched that, and we watched snowboarding, also very
- 14:53Speaker 1: difficult looking, but it was fascinating.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Yeah, and because there are these sports that we don't
- 14:59Speaker 2: watch on a regular basis. There were some ESPN experts
- 15:04Speaker 2: and I use that in quotes, who have got together
- 15:08Speaker 2: and they determined the top ten hardest sports and the easiest.
- 15:12Speaker 2: And I'll only give you a hood Okay, I'll only
- 15:14Speaker 2: give you a handful of them. But if you had
- 15:16Speaker 2: to guess, angie your top three like hardest sports according
- 15:20Speaker 2: to ESPN experts.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Maybe not for you, per se.
- 15:22Speaker 3: But no, I think figure skating for sure.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I'm anything skiing, snowboarding where you catch.
- 15:32Speaker 4: Air, any balance kind of deal.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and jumping that see, I would guess something like
- 15:37Speaker 2: that where you got to do a bunch of flips
- 15:38Speaker 2: and spins and yes, exact Yeah. Well, according to these
- 15:42Speaker 2: ESPN experts, the top three hardest sports in the world
- 15:46Speaker 2: will start at number three, football at number three. It's
- 15:49Speaker 2: probably has to do with you know, how just hard
- 15:52Speaker 2: it is on your body.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Well, these are sports in general exports, Yeah, not the Olympics,
- 15:57Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, any second Olympics mode.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Okay, that's fine, any sport in general.
- 16:01Speaker 2: So okay, football being the hardest, and in theory, football
- 16:05Speaker 2: really isn't that difficult. It's running and catching basically and
- 16:09Speaker 2: then tackling another human. I think what makes it so
- 16:12Speaker 2: hard is how hard it is on your body. All
- 16:14Speaker 2: of the training and recovery that goes into it. I
- 16:17Speaker 2: makes sense, some would argue more than any other sport
- 16:20Speaker 2: in the world. Do you have to recover for is
- 16:22Speaker 2: a football or maybe like a rugby?
- 16:23Speaker 4: All right?
- 16:24Speaker 2: Number two hockey, which yeah, I love seeing that. You
- 16:28Speaker 2: gotta balance on skates people flying around thirty thirty five
- 16:31Speaker 2: forty miles an hour.
- 16:33Speaker 4: I mean it's nuts.
- 16:34Speaker 3: I mean just looking at the puck and seeing where
- 16:37Speaker 3: it is. That would be hard for me. I'm terrible iSight.
- 16:40Speaker 2: And the hardest sport according to these experts. Boxing another one.
- 16:45Speaker 2: You gotta be in crazy, crazy good shape. Your ALREADYO
- 16:49Speaker 2: has to be out of this world, and you get
- 16:51Speaker 2: beat up.
- 16:52Speaker 4: It's literally your job to get beat up.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Yeah. No, that's when I would fail at. I mean
- 16:57Speaker 1: I would be tkoed every time, right.
- 17:00Speaker 4: I think you'll be happy in the top ten. Tennis
- 17:03Speaker 4: did make the top ten.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Oh, really have difficult sports?
- 17:06Speaker 3: Yeah, that's where I'm out.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Oh you know me, I have a hill I'll die
- 17:09Speaker 1: on regarding pickleball versus tennis.
- 17:11Speaker 3: But yeah, tennis is great and.
- 17:13Speaker 2: The ten easiest sports. Once again, I'll just kind of
- 17:16Speaker 2: give you the top three here, Angie. But if you
- 17:18Speaker 2: had to guess some of the easiest sports, what would
- 17:20Speaker 2: you say?
- 17:21Speaker 1: Well, I hate to be this person, but curling.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Yeah, in theory, I mean, yeah, there's not a whole
- 17:28Speaker 2: lot of physical action to it a sport.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Because then, first of all, pickleball easy hopscotch. Is that
- 17:35Speaker 1: a sport easy?
- 17:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 17:37Speaker 1: You tell me.
- 17:38Speaker 2: We had shooting at number three. Number two billiards or pool.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I'm so bad at billiards, okay.
- 17:47Speaker 2: And then number one the easiest sport, which I love
- 17:50Speaker 2: because this one you can enjoy with a nice fixed
- 17:53Speaker 2: pag of bush lights and do this sport fishing.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I don't think fishing is a sport enjoying some.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Time on the water in the sun. Try and we
- 18:05Speaker 2: did receive this text. I do like this This text
- 18:08Speaker 2: is from Marissa. She gave us two guesses here. The
- 18:11Speaker 2: easiest sport has got to be bowling. You literally eat
- 18:15Speaker 2: nachos between turns. Wow, if you can eat while playing
- 18:19Speaker 2: the sport. Maybe not the most difficult on a physical level.
- 18:23Speaker 2: That doesn't mean you don't have to, like mentally be good,
- 18:26Speaker 2: but on a physical level, probably correct.
- 18:29Speaker 4: And I'd liked her guests for the hardest.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I was kind of surprised this wasn't higher on the list,
- 18:32Speaker 2: but she said gymnastics. If I tried one back Yeah,
- 18:37Speaker 2: if I tried one backflip, you'd be reading about me
- 18:39Speaker 2: in an injury report tomorrow.
- 18:44Speaker 5: In the World of Rules in Gray Areas, one morning
- 18:47Speaker 5: show dares to ask the hard questions.
- 18:49Speaker 4: We both know you're guilty. He's guilty. Is it legal?
- 18:52Speaker 2: You're guilty of the worst crime of all? On Big
- 18:56Speaker 2: ninety eight point seven, there's been a lot of exciting
- 19:00Speaker 2: development with like Fargo Parks and Rex Department. I think
- 19:04Speaker 2: already in twenty twenty six things they've come out and
- 19:06Speaker 2: said they're either doing or are underway or planning for.
- 19:09Speaker 2: And so I just learned something really important. Okay, Apparently
- 19:13Speaker 2: Fargo Parks has an official limit on how many people
- 19:15Speaker 2: you're allowed to party with, which raises the uncomfortable question
- 19:19Speaker 2: of how many friends do I actually have? If you
- 19:24Speaker 2: rend a picnic shelter, you can invite up to one
- 19:27Speaker 2: hundred sixty people. Oh, okay, one hundred six. I don't
- 19:31Speaker 2: even think I know one hundred sixty people.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Yes, you do the listeners in the FM area, that's
- 19:37Speaker 1: at least one sixty.
- 19:39Speaker 3: Maybe.
- 19:39Speaker 2: If I tried to invite that many people, I think
- 19:42Speaker 2: Facebook would ask me like, hey, are you starting a cult?
- 19:46Speaker 2: All right now, Broadway Square, They're ready for you. They
- 19:49Speaker 2: have packages for eighty to four hundred guests. All right,
- 19:53Speaker 2: Oh wow, have four hundred guests. It's no longer a
- 19:56Speaker 2: birthday party. Okay, that's like a music festival, yes, is
- 19:58Speaker 2: what you're throwing down. Pool parties they hold about thirty
- 20:02Speaker 2: to forty people, which feels about right.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Yeah, that never feels actually a chapable.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I feel like forty though in a pool that has
- 20:09Speaker 1: to be the max because you have to have.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Some room, right exactly.
- 20:13Speaker 2: And then the Fargo Parks Sports Center room rooms cap
- 20:17Speaker 2: at about twelve guests, which honestly is ideal. Okay, if
- 20:20Speaker 2: you're throwing a party. There, less pressure, more cake for you,
- 20:23Speaker 2: all right, So just remember Fargo Parks can handle anywhere
- 20:26Speaker 2: from one sixty to four hundred to forty to eighty
- 20:30Speaker 2: depending on where you're at for a bash. I'll be
- 20:33Speaker 2: honest though, emotionally I can handle about six. So if
- 20:36Speaker 2: there's going to be more than that many people at
- 20:37Speaker 2: your party, I might just be dropping off the gift. Now,
- 20:48Speaker 2: if you didn't see this, it's kind of interesting. After
- 20:52Speaker 2: Bad Bunnies halftime show, it has led it to a
- 20:56Speaker 2: two hundred forty five percent a lot of percent rise
- 21:02Speaker 2: in searches.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Four flights to Puerto Rico.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Oh yeah, Hey, I like the way you said it.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Do you?
- 21:09Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:10Speaker 4: I tried my best there.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Yeah, you decrushed it.
- 21:12Speaker 2: And I know Corey and I have always wanted to
- 21:14Speaker 2: go to Puerto Rico for a long time. I think
- 21:15Speaker 2: that was going to be our honeymoon idea, and then
- 21:19Speaker 2: we got a dog and that kind of micks that, right. No,
- 21:23Speaker 2: But it's just kind of interesting that a lot of
- 21:26Speaker 2: people are like, hey, I gotta check this place out.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Maybe you could go for a baby moon.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Yeah, that'd be great. Yeah, yeah, you babysitting?
- 21:32Speaker 1: No, No, no, baby moon is before the baby's born. Oh
- 21:36Speaker 1: you go like your final like trip before the baby
- 21:39Speaker 1: is born, and they suck the life out of you.
- 21:41Speaker 3: You go on a baby moon.
- 21:42Speaker 2: I don't know if Corey's gonna want to do that,
- 21:44Speaker 2: like seven eight months pregnant.
- 21:46Speaker 4: It's warm there.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Oh yeah that part.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Do you have any travel plans in twenty twenty six,
- 21:54Speaker 2: We want to know, Hey, what have you been googling
- 21:56Speaker 2: to go visit? Let us know it's seven oh one
- 21:58Speaker 2: through eight zero one nine eight Evan. Maybe you're checking
- 22:00Speaker 2: out Fargo Hector International Airport flights right now.
- 22:05Speaker 1: You know what I love about Hector is that this
- 22:07Speaker 1: sounds like an add What I love about Hector International
- 22:10Speaker 1: Airport is no. But my hometown is Las Vegas, and
- 22:14Speaker 1: Hector has NonStop flights to Vegas all the time.
- 22:17Speaker 3: And so in May, I'm heading out to Vegas.
- 22:20Speaker 1: My niece is graduating high school, which just reminds me
- 22:25Speaker 1: how old I am. But she's graduating high school, and
- 22:28Speaker 1: so we're headed out there to celebrate her. And then
- 22:31Speaker 1: I mean, it's going to be at the end of
- 22:32Speaker 1: May in Vegas, so probably.
- 22:34Speaker 3: We'll hit up some pools at the casinos.
- 22:37Speaker 4: All right, that's it.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of fun. What about what about you, trash?
- 22:40Speaker 2: What are your travel plans this year?
- 22:42Speaker 5: Japan?
- 22:43Speaker 1: I want to say at one of those tiny ramen
- 22:45Speaker 1: bars at like two am and slurp noodles in peace
- 22:48Speaker 1: and just pretend I'm the main character in a quiet
- 22:51Speaker 1: little life reset.
- 22:52Speaker 4: Movie I'm trying to go to.
- 22:53Speaker 3: You don't have to pretend you are the main character.
- 22:56Speaker 4: That's that sounds like a lot of fun.
- 22:58Speaker 1: My brother went to Japan.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Yeah, she's gonna have a great time.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Yeah, all right.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Well in twenty twenty six, I have a zero travel plans.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I have the no sleep plans, no travel plans, and
- 23:10Speaker 2: no do anything plans other than to keep a little
- 23:13Speaker 2: baby alive for about secs telling you you gotta do
- 23:16Speaker 2: a baby moon.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Maybe not the Puerto Rico, but okay, I.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Mean you're in the perfect plan.
- 23:22Speaker 3: It's cold here, this is nice and comfortable.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Do a staication Yeah we could do that. Yeah, Andy,
- 23:27Speaker 2: do you have travel plans this year?
- 23:29Speaker 4: My wife and I are heading to Ireland to recreate.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Our honeymoon from ten years ago.
- 23:33Speaker 5: We loved it so much and we just can't wait
- 23:36Speaker 5: to go back.
- 23:36Speaker 2: That's Corey and my well, I don't know if I
- 23:38Speaker 2: want to lump her into that, but that's one of
- 23:39Speaker 2: my dreams.
- 23:40Speaker 4: I want to go to Ireland once.
- 23:41Speaker 3: You just want to drink a lot.
- 23:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I wonder if Guinnesses are cheap over there. All right, Angie,
- 23:54Speaker 2: I need you to I need you to be the
- 23:56Speaker 2: voice of women. Okay, this morning on Big Nint, I.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Do happen to be a human one, that's.
- 24:03Speaker 4: Right, all right.
- 24:04Speaker 2: This past Saturday obviously was Valentine's Day, and I want
- 24:07Speaker 2: to try to help out people who maybe they did
- 24:10Speaker 2: not have Valentine this year, which is still fine, but
- 24:13Speaker 2: I want to get them prepped and ready for the
- 24:15Speaker 2: next Valentine's Day. Okay, all right, we're going to do
- 24:17Speaker 2: some early prep work in twenty twenty six for twenty
- 24:21Speaker 2: twenty seven.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Okay.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I want to know if these would be a romantic
- 24:25Speaker 2: gestures or a bit of a red flag.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Oh okay, So we got to weed these things.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Out so you know I'll fall for it next year
- 24:33Speaker 2: exactly or maybe Yeah, you get into a relationship at
- 24:36Speaker 2: some point in the near future. Here, you don't want
- 24:38Speaker 2: to mess it up to early, okay, Okay, Like, for example,
- 24:42Speaker 2: what if we'll we'll use he being that year a
- 24:46Speaker 2: woman with a boyfriend. Yeah, he buys an expensive gift
- 24:51Speaker 2: very early in the relationship.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Romantic or red flag?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Oh?
- 24:57Speaker 3: I like romantic.
- 24:59Speaker 4: I I actually knew. I knew the answer and that
- 25:02Speaker 4: before I asked that.
- 25:03Speaker 2: To me, it would be it would depend on like,
- 25:05Speaker 2: if this were reversed, how much money does she have?
- 25:07Speaker 4: Is she like really rich?
- 25:09Speaker 2: And something I would think is expensive isn't expensive to her?
- 25:14Speaker 4: Yeah, red flagg.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Relative to their income. If he a broke ee and
- 25:20Speaker 1: then giving me something really expensive, that makes me think
- 25:24Speaker 1: credit card debt, and I don't like that.
- 25:26Speaker 3: But in general, romantic oil me.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Okay, what about uh plans your entire weekend without asking?
- 25:33Speaker 1: No?
- 25:34Speaker 3: Absolutely not red flag?
- 25:35Speaker 1: Red flag.
- 25:36Speaker 3: It's given controlling and I do not like it.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Also, I need to be prepared with what wardrobe I
- 25:42Speaker 1: need for these things. Okay, I need consultation. I don't
- 25:45Speaker 1: like that.
- 25:45Speaker 4: All right?
- 25:46Speaker 2: What about this shows up at your job unannounced with flowers?
- 25:50Speaker 4: Oh? With shot on your face.
- 25:53Speaker 2: At the start of that prompt there was hilarious because.
- 25:58Speaker 1: I was mad, don't show up to my work unannounced
- 26:00Speaker 1: with flowers? Okay, romantic thing, that's romantic The thing is,
- 26:05Speaker 1: I just always want you to give me something. I
- 26:07Speaker 1: seem real materialist.
- 26:09Speaker 4: We're learning a lot about Angie here today. All right,
- 26:11Speaker 4: I have a couple more for you. What about that?
- 26:13Speaker 2: I know the answer to this, but insists on paying
- 26:16Speaker 2: for everything.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Practically roman romantic? Yeah, the most romantic. Marry him?
- 26:21Speaker 2: Okay, two more for you or three more? Text you
- 26:24Speaker 2: good morning with a heart at the start of each day.
- 26:28Speaker 3: That is romantic. Yes, not a red flag.
- 26:30Speaker 2: I'd call it a red flag. I need a little
- 26:32Speaker 2: more than that. Give me like a double heart.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Oh yeah, No, I think acknowledgement in any kind.
- 26:37Speaker 3: The bars in hell ladies, so but yeah, I think romantic.
- 26:41Speaker 4: All right? What about this? I kind of think I
- 26:44Speaker 4: know the answer to this. Too.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Writes a love song and performs it for you at
- 26:48Speaker 2: a party.
- 26:50Speaker 1: At a party, no less, this is the biggest red
- 26:53Speaker 1: flag of all time.
- 26:55Speaker 3: He's just seeking attention. He probably is not a good singer.
- 26:59Speaker 1: He wrote the song too, Yeah, oh disgusting red flag
- 27:03Speaker 1: run away right away?
- 27:04Speaker 4: What if it's not like an open mic night or something? No, no,
- 27:07Speaker 4: don't like.
- 27:07Speaker 3: That red flag?
- 27:09Speaker 4: All right? What about the last one?
- 27:12Speaker 2: Here posts long love paragraphs about you every week on
- 27:17Speaker 2: social media.
- 27:18Speaker 1: The longer the paragraph, the more frequent the paragraphs, the
- 27:21Speaker 1: more he's hiding something, He's doing something he's not supposed to.
- 27:26Speaker 1: He's over compensating.
- 27:28Speaker 3: That is a red flag.
- 27:29Speaker 4: What if he's just trying to express his you know.
- 27:31Speaker 1: No, the longer the caption, I think, like when did
- 27:36Speaker 1: you cheat? And how often?
- 27:37Speaker 2: The longer the caption the problem. Yes, that's what we've
- 27:41Speaker 2: learned in twenty twenty six from Angie.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Well.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Sadly, it might be time for mood dang the pig
- 27:56Speaker 2: pigmy hippo that took over your radio, that took over televisions,
- 28:01Speaker 2: as there has been a new adorable pigmy hippo born
- 28:05Speaker 2: in this Arizona zoo. Now for some inspiration, we have
- 28:10Speaker 2: our own pigmy hippo on the Big ninety eight point
- 28:13Speaker 2: seven Facebook page and we want to try to give
- 28:15Speaker 2: this little cutie a name. And there is a name
- 28:18Speaker 2: in the top four I like, Angie does not though no,
- 28:21Speaker 2: I do not.
- 28:22Speaker 1: So this is the world or the World Wildlife.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Zoo sounds like the World Wild Wild West Zoo.
- 28:29Speaker 1: Yeah, in Arizona, they've got some contenders. These are the
- 28:34Speaker 1: top four contenders as they try to name this pygmy
- 28:37Speaker 1: hippo Cadbury, Twixie, Jellybean, and Taffy. It's giving Easter candy
- 28:45Speaker 1: and I don't care for those.
- 28:46Speaker 4: See.
- 28:47Speaker 2: I like TWIXI A she this little cute new pigmy hippo.
- 28:50Speaker 2: It kind of looks like a little Twix and it
- 28:53Speaker 2: rhymes with the cat we said, we said goodbye to
- 28:57Speaker 2: his name Trixie.
- 28:58Speaker 4: So I'm a fan of Twigs.
- 29:00Speaker 3: Had to bring in the rest in peace cast.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I knew that was gonna happen because I didn't tell
- 29:05Speaker 2: you why I liked it.
- 29:06Speaker 4: But I like TWIXI okay.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Well fine, and I guess now I kind of like
- 29:11Speaker 1: twixy two. But what would you name the pygmy hippo.
- 29:14Speaker 1: You don't have to go with any of the four
- 29:16Speaker 1: that are contenders.
- 29:17Speaker 4: If you have something better, let us Yeah.
- 29:18Speaker 1: I feel like fMRI is more creative than this, so
- 29:21Speaker 1: let us know. Seven oh one two, eight oh one,
- 29:23Speaker 1: nine eighty seven. We also have this posted on our
- 29:25Speaker 1: big ninety eight points I have on Facebook page. It
- 29:28Speaker 1: is an AI generated image of a pygmy hippo.
- 29:33Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't have the rights to it.
- 29:34Speaker 3: We don't have the rights to sell. Please forgive us that.
- 29:39Speaker 1: But if you have a name that you think would
- 29:42Speaker 1: be good for the pygmy hippo, let us know so
- 29:44Speaker 1: far in the studio, because I haven't thought of anything myself.
- 29:48Speaker 1: TWIXI is in the lead.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Oh now that's number one.
- 29:51Speaker 1: Huh.
- 29:51Speaker 3: I'll think of something because fim Maria helped me.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Think of a name.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Well, I really like this one, this name, you know,
- 29:58Speaker 2: this is something I actually want in a lo moon
- 30:00Speaker 2: will call Angie walking around here and hippo.
- 30:03Speaker 4: No, I slid head first into that, didn't I?
- 30:07Speaker 1: All right?
- 30:08Speaker 2: Well no, it's peanut tiny, yeah, and ridiculously adorable.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Oh that's so cud.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I think that's wonderful. That's from Kelly. And then this
- 30:18Speaker 2: one from Madison. She said, this is great. This might
- 30:21Speaker 2: actually be up there with TWIXI. For me, Puddles perfect
- 30:25Speaker 2: for a little hippo who looks like they belong splashing around.
- 30:29Speaker 1: See, puddles is cute.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Puddles is great.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Puddles over twixy.
- 30:34Speaker 2: Seven oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 30:36Speaker 2: If you could name this new pygmy hippo destined for
- 30:41Speaker 2: Internet fame and greatness, what would you name it?
- 30:49Speaker 5: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 30:53Speaker 5: good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 30:56Speaker 2: A grain elevator in Saban, Minnesota has been trained transformed
- 31:00Speaker 2: into a unique home by Fargo architect Scott Doms.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Over nine years.
- 31:07Speaker 2: He's added creative features like a slide, queen size bunk beds,
- 31:11Speaker 2: a trampoline, and an indoor climbing wall, turning it into
- 31:15Speaker 2: a four bedroom, three bath property that's also really popular
- 31:19Speaker 2: on Airbnb. Originally bought out of necessity during a difficult
- 31:24Speaker 2: personal period, the project remains partially unfinished, but its quirky
- 31:29Speaker 2: design has gone viral on social media.
- 31:32Speaker 6: The problem with this thing is that it blew up
- 31:34Speaker 6: so quick like in terms of popularity, that it's hard
- 31:37Speaker 6: to finish stuff. I probably got maybe twelve weekends till
- 31:41Speaker 6: the end of summer that's not booked from.
- 31:43Speaker 4: A slide he found on Craigslist too.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I think this is so cool. Obviously the slide he
- 31:49Speaker 2: got on Craigslist. There's a little part at the end there.
- 31:51Speaker 2: But the place is now listed for three hundred and
- 31:54Speaker 2: twenty five thousand dollars, though Doms is open to holding
- 31:58Speaker 2: on to it, seeing it as a part of his legacy.
- 32:01Speaker 2: And I just love creativity. We have our very own
- 32:04Speaker 2: kind of like HGTV sort of thing going on from
- 32:07Speaker 2: a Fargo architect that I think is so creative and cool.
- 32:10Speaker 1: So it's on AIRB and B.
- 32:11Speaker 4: He said, ah, yeah, you can say in it.
- 32:13Speaker 2: The problem is there's only like twelve weeks or something
- 32:17Speaker 2: for the year that are available, So if you did
- 32:19Speaker 2: want to stay in it, there's a couple options.
- 32:22Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, and you need a place for
- 32:24Speaker 1: your baby moon game station, you need that's.
- 32:29Speaker 4: Right anyway, big shout out to this guy.
- 32:31Speaker 2: I think it's cool when you can kind of take
- 32:33Speaker 2: something and reimage it or build something with your hands
- 32:38Speaker 2: that maybe a lot of other people either a couldn't
- 32:40Speaker 2: do or b aren't cre creative enough to do. And
- 32:43Speaker 2: I just think it's super cool. The world is full
- 32:45Speaker 2: of nice people. If you can't find one, you gotta
- 32:47Speaker 2: be one.
