📢 THIS is "in the cards" for Silver Price & Gold Price · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:01
$200 silver. What about an American retail
• 0:06
silver frenzy? Actually, people in America
• 0:09
starting to buy a ton of silver and gold and we need to talk
• 0:14
about major precious metals news out of the state of Florida.
• 0:18
This could be earth shattering news for the precious metals
• 0:23
sector. Guys, Florida is a massive,
• 0:26
massive economy and this is big, big news.
• 0:28
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being part of
• 0:30
Ron's basement. This video is focused on silver
• 0:34
and gold for the silver and gold community and for those in the
• 0:37
crypto community who have overwhelmingly told me they have
• 0:41
an interest in precious metals. Let's start by talking about
• 0:44
this big potential for a retail frenzy, and I think this article
• 0:49
shows it better than any. We're going to go out to MSN and
• 0:54
an article that came originally from Whoop.
• 0:58
Hold on here originally came from Business Insider about what
• 1:03
is going on at Costco, which is just nothing short of stunning
• 1:07
right now. Let's move up here so we can
• 1:10
get, and this is an article talking about how people are
• 1:13
going crazy again for gold and I would imagine silver as well.
• 1:18
And don't forget, we're going to talk about $200 silver next.
• 1:22
But from the article again from MSN and Business Insider says 1
• 1:27
Collector One collector who has bought more than $30,000 worth
• 1:32
of gold this year told Business Insider there's growing concern
• 1:36
in the precious metal community about gold prices rising so
• 1:39
quickly. He said, quote, and I want you
• 1:42
to think about this. Do you feel this way?
• 1:44
To me, it's the measuring stick for how bad things are going to
• 1:48
  get. The person requested anonymity
• 1:51
because of concerns about personal safety, but he provided
• 1:55
Business Insider with receipts from recent Costco purchases and
• 1:59
documentation of his additional gold holdings.
• 2:03
He said he owned no gold until this year.
• 2:07
So this guy didn't own any gold until this year and has been
• 2:10
buying, right? We're only in April and only
• 2:13
began collecting as the political and economic
• 2:16
  environment became more unpredictable.
• 2:18
Costco, which sells gold bars and coins online and in some
• 2:22
stores, made it easy for him to get started.
• 2:25
Costco, this is where he says it, quote UN quote.
• 2:28
Costco was the gateway drug to gold investing.
• 2:32
It's no secret that Costco sells hundreds of millions of dollars
• 2:35
worth of gold bars and coins at some of the lowest markups
• 2:38
around. But there are times when the
• 2:40
market moves a little faster than the company adjusts their
• 2:43
  prices. In particular, This is
• 2:46
interesting. People are actually getting a
• 2:48
discount in some in some instances.
• 2:50
Several products listings on Tuesday, 100 Grand Bar and One
• 2:54
Ounce Bar, were listed at prices so close to the spot market that
• 2:58
Costco executive members using the Costco City Credit Card
• 3:02
could see a net reward of about 1 to 2% of the purchase price.
• 3:07
And there they are there. In other words, Costco is
• 3:10
basically giving some members money to convert their dollars
• 3:14
into gold up to certain limits on individual and annual
• 3:18
transactions. Of course, executive rewards are
• 3:20
capped at the $1250 a year. So what we're seeing here guys,
• 3:26
and this could be a big, this is a big thing for us to remember
• 3:30
and realize. What we are seeing is that
• 3:34
people in the United States, the Costco moms, the Costco dads are
• 3:37
starting to move more and more into precious metals.
• 3:41
And remember, the United States is the biggest economy in the
• 3:45
world. Why is this a big deal?
• 3:47
It's a big, big deal because if Americans start to buy metals,
• 3:52
which they really haven't at the retail level, right, we've got
• 3:56
like .5% of our money invested in metals, it could provide an
• 4:00
even more robust tailwind behind the precious metals prices.
• 4:06
Remember, we've got gold right at hitting record highs.
• 4:10
That has happened without the retail market really fully
• 4:14
participating. It's also happened, by the way,
• 4:17
without Jerome Powell lowering interest rates.
• 4:19
Imagine, you know, when we actually get lower interest
• 4:22
rates, when they start printing money and we get even more
• 4:26
people. I think we are primed for higher
• 4:28
prices in both silver and gold. Let's talk about $200 silver.
• 4:34
I want to pull up. Well, let me say this first.
• 4:38
I was chastised over the years when I would say things like
• 4:41
$3000 gold, right? Remember the old bear there?
• 4:45
He used to be blindfolded with a $2500 across his blindfold.
• 4:50
And when I would put out videos talking about $3000 gold, I
• 4:54
would often get accused of click bait, right?
• 4:56
You're crazy. What are you thinking?
• 4:58
Right now we're at close to what we did hit 35, $100 gold and I
• 5:03
am fully confident and fully feel good about telling you that
• 5:07
I do believe during my lifetime and I AM 55 years old that we
• 5:12
will definitely see $200 silver. The silver price right now is
• 5:17
ridiculously low. Anybody right anybody who you
• 5:22
talk to will tell you the silver price should be much higher.
• 5:25
Let's look at a couple factors and start with the gold to
• 5:29
silver ratio. I want you to look at this chart
• 5:34
and I want you to realize one important thing and we need to
• 5:38
update it here because this only goes through 2024 but doesn't
• 5:43
show where we are right now, which is at 100 to one.
• 5:47
It takes 100. This, this is this line is
• 5:51
actually moved up to right here, right at the 100 level, 100, 100
• 5:59
ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold.
• 6:02
I would say right when I'm looking at this chart, let's
• 6:06
talk about a 15 to 1 gold to silver ratio that is not out of
• 6:11
the question. It got close to that back here
• 6:14
in 1980 and absolutely we could get there again if we get to a
• 6:21
15 to 1 gold to silver ratio, meaning that it only takes 15
• 6:26
ounces of silver. And that's and that I shouldn't
• 6:29
say only because really, right, it should take more than that.
• 6:34
But if it takes 15 ounces of silver to buy one ounce of gold,
• 6:40
OK, Right now at the current $3000 gold price, we would
• 6:44
easily have $200 silver if we were to go to even let's say a
• 6:50
60 to 1 gold to silver ratio right now, right?
• 6:54
That number would make the silver price $50 per oz $50 is
• 7:00
like the all time nominal high. We hit that in what, 1980 and
• 7:04
again in 2011, right? So to get there again, and in
• 7:08
today's dollars, those numbers are 7080.
• 7:11
I've heard upwards of $100 per oz.
• 7:13
But nonetheless, just on pure nominal number level, to hit the
• 7:18
$50 per oz mark is not out of the question.
• 7:21
And you've got to realize something so, so critical when
• 7:26
we think about silver, and that is that it has been manipulated
• 7:30
down like nothing before. Let's take a look at this from
• 7:33
the dude. This is incredible to think
• 7:36
  about. I love the dude.
• 7:38
He puts out great, great content on X Hold on here, I'll be right
• 7:45
  back. Don't leave.
• 7:48
Hold on here we go and boom all right, let's make sure we're
• 7:56
back and we are You can see it now.
• 7:59
Sorry about that guys, but this this person goes by the dude on
• 8:03
X and wait till you hear this talk about manipulation.
• 8:06
There's the dude puts this out every day, OK, right here.
• 8:12
The silver market this was as of yesterday.
• 8:14
So yesterday the silver market traded 630 million paper oz.
• 8:21
OK guys, that comes pretty darn close to how much the entire
• 8:26
silver mining industry creates, mines, produces over an entire
• 8:33
  year. That's probably almost 75 to 80%
• 8:38
of the annual total worldwide silver production is being
• 8:43
traded in one day on the paper markets.
• 8:47
OK, that is unbelievable. The COMEX had 0 deliveries and
• 8:51
the LBMA had 1673. Do we close above $35 this week?
• 8:56
Remember the spot price of silver is only 66% like we just
• 9:02
talked about of the all time high from 1980, from 1980.
• 9:08
And that's in this pure nominal terms, right?
• 9:11
$50.00 in 1980, it's probably the equivalent of probably close
• 9:16
to $100 today. What happens when 100 plus years
• 9:20
of price suppression breaks? You're about to find out and I
• 9:25
agree with you. Do you agree right?
• 9:27
Do you agree with the dude? I absolutely agree with him.
• 9:30
Like we it's like a beach ball that's been held underwater.
• 9:34
The silver price, I mean, give me a break in one day.
• 9:38
You're telling me in one day that the paper markets are able
• 9:42
to trade like almost the entire equivalent of the entire mining
• 9:46
industry output of production of silver for a year.
• 9:53
It's absolutely stunning. It is absolute manipulation.
• 9:56
And you know, right, smart people, the God Institute, it's
• 10:00
been decades proving that the silver price has been
• 10:04
manipulated. We are in for much, much higher,
• 10:07
much, much higher prices. I want to give you guys a little
• 10:10
update as well. I will be putting out at least
• 10:13
twice a week a regular schedule of gold and silver focus
• 10:17
content. Again, the gold and silver
• 10:19
community has asked me to do that.
• 10:22
The basement dweller community and also people from the crypto
• 10:25
community. And I really know that together,
• 10:28
right, those two communities are focused on the same thing and
• 10:31
that's decentralized finance. OK, so just so the people that
• 10:36
really are interested in this gold and silver focus content,
• 10:40
it'll probably be something like Monday and Thursday that I'll
• 10:44
put out a piece of content focused primarily on the
• 10:47
  precious metals. But what?
• 10:50
What about Robert Kiyosaki? Are you going to get mad at me
• 10:55
because I said $200 silver? Well, if you don't like it,
• 10:59
right? If you don't like it, well,
• 11:00
remember, a lot of people didn't like when I said $3000 gold two
• 11:04
years ago. But Robert Kiyosaki is
• 11:07
predicting a silver price of $3000 just 10 years from now.
• 11:14
And with the D that remember it's not so much why is that
• 11:19
possible? I'll give you the reason why,
• 11:21
because it's not so much about the quote UN quote value of
• 11:26
silver and gold going up. What it is, is the real value of
• 11:31
the dollar going down. That's what's going to drive
• 11:35
these prices higher and higher and higher.
• 11:37
And there's so much insecurity out there, uncertainty out
• 11:43
there, that these prices are absolutely possible, absolutely
• 11:47
possible. One last thing I'll say about
• 11:48
silver, right? Hey, we could have $400.00
• 11:52
  silver. How you like that?
• 11:53
I'll double the 200. We could have $400.00 silver
• 11:55
  easy. Because think about this.
• 11:58
Silver and gold are both precious metals, correct?
• 12:03
Right. You can't argue that those are
• 12:04
silver's been money longer than gold from what I've been told.
• 12:08
But how do we get to $400.00 silver?
• 12:11
Think about this very simple fact.
• 12:13
Every year the mining companies, right for each one ounce of gold
• 12:18
that are that's produced, they produce only 7 ounces of silver.
• 12:23
One ounce of gold, 7 ounces of silver.
• 12:26
They're both precious metals. Wouldn't that mean right, that
• 12:30
the actual silver price should be 1/7 that of gold?
• 12:34
Argue with me why that? Why that, why that should be
• 12:37
different? And if the silver price were 1/7
• 12:40
that of the of the price of gold, the price would be
• 12:44
actually well north of $400.00 per oz.
• 12:47
But wait, there's more. There's more.
• 12:51
Because that gold that's produced, that one ounce of gold
• 12:55
and that 7 ounces of silver, none of the gold is consumed.
• 12:59
Whereas a big chunk of that silver, which is also a precious
• 13:04
metal, is actually consumed by industry.
• 13:07
You've heard it ad nauseam, right?
• 13:08
Solar panels, batteries, electronics, medical equipment,
• 13:14
pure water purification, I mean the list goes on and on and on.
• 13:18
So to think that we can't have these massive, massive, much
• 13:21
higher prices is, is, I think foolish.
• 13:24
But that's just my opinion. OK, You don't have to agree with
• 13:27
  me. You never have.
• 13:29
But that's what I believe $200 silver scratch, take that
• 13:33
thumbnail I made, scratch that out and let's say $400.00
• 13:38
silver. And think about this like we
• 13:41
started the the, the, the, the, the, the video today talking
• 13:44
about if retail demand for metals in the United States is
• 13:50
really non existent. I'm talking to a lot of people
• 13:53
out there and they're telling me that even with these record high
• 13:56
gold prices, but in particular with silver, demand for silver
• 14:00
on a retail investment level is like really kind of suppressed
• 14:04
right now. When that picks up, when that
• 14:08
when people wake up to what you know, and I know already about
• 14:12
silver, I love it. I mean, look at this, isn't that
• 14:15
just absolutely it's the most beautiful thing in the world.
• 14:21
And when the world wakes up, there's a silver Unicorn, the
• 14:25
silver when the United States that could bring and we're
• 14:28
starting to see hints of that through Costco.
• 14:31
But that alone also could create a massive wave of demand for the
• 14:35
  precious metals. What happened yesterday,
• 14:40
everybody's wondering why did gold go down?
• 14:42
What $100 silver went up by a dollar?
• 14:45
It's it's the craziness of what's going on right now.
• 14:48
And overall, this uncertainty will provide support to both the
• 14:53
gold price and the silver price. But yesterday it was the, the
• 14:56
Trump. And it's not a political
• 14:57
statement, not a political channel at all, but what I call
• 15:01
the Trump tantrum, right? The craziness of what's going on
• 15:05
right now and the uncertainty that's driving these metals
• 15:09
prices got unwound a little bit. I mean, think about how crazy
• 15:13
this is the, the tariff situation got dialed back.
• 15:17
Remember just what, 2 weeks ago we were going to put tariffs on
• 15:20
everybody in the world And now descent the new Treasury
• 15:23
Secretary apparently behind closed doors, as reported by
• 15:26
Bloomberg. Basically kind of walked back
• 15:29
the hard line stance that we have on China that made the
• 15:33
markets skyrocket and made gold right go down temporarily.
• 15:39
Silver got a big bid yesterday. It was up what, like $1.80
• 15:42
cents, some crazy amount. That's because silver has this
• 15:46
kind of component to it now that is tied into the general
• 15:50
economy. So that helped buoy the silver
• 15:53
price. But let's run out and take a
• 15:54
look at what's going on right now in these markets just to
• 15:58
keep a read on what is happening.
• 16:01
And we'll go out to CNBC and take a look at the at the metals
• 16:06
prices. I want to refresh this and let's
• 16:12
go to gold. All right, so gold's up in the
• 16:15
future is about 37 dollars, 3300 silver holding in there at $33
• 16:23
roughly, let's say. So what we're really waiting
• 16:26
for, I mean, obviously you guys know what's happened with gold,
• 16:30
break out the big cup and handle formation.
• 16:32
What we're really waiting for with silver is to get this break
• 16:36
above $3637 per oz. Why do I think that's going to
• 16:40
happen? Well, I told you some of the
• 16:42
reasons already, but from a chart perspective, if you look
• 16:46
at a chart of the silver price, we are building a pretty solid
• 16:50
base foundation right now in this 3330 two $34 range.
• 16:56
Once we break out, and I've talked about this for years with
• 17:00
you into that 373839, into the $40 plus range on silver, it's
• 17:06
off to the races. It's slingshot.
• 17:09
OK, That's when all these things, all the and why you're
• 17:12
going to ask? Well, because all the years of
• 17:15
manipulation, downward manipulation, all of that
• 17:18
holding the beach ball underwater on the silver price,
• 17:21
all that energy is going to come free.
• 17:24
And on a long term basis, as you know, we're in like the biggest
• 17:28
cup and handle formation, like a 45 year cup and handle here.
• 17:33
Let's see if I can pull that up quickly.
• 17:36
Hold on one second and hold on here.
• 17:45
Here we go. All right, there we have it,
• 17:49
right, the 45 year cup and handle in the silver price
• 17:53
starting in 1980 as you can see at $50, hitting $50 again in
• 18:00
2011 and right now really working hard to get that break
• 18:04
out above the $50 level this year or early next year, right?
• 18:10
I'm thinking we could hit $70 silver by April 1st of next
• 18:15
year, $80.00 silver, not out of the question at all whatsoever.
• 18:27
One last thing I want to mention to you that I think is very
• 18:30
  ironic. Here we go.
• 18:32
Oh, we're back. Hey, basement dwellers.
• 18:35
Hey guys, thank you for being here.
• 18:37
Did I ask you already? Please subscribe to the channel.
• 18:40

• 18:43

• 18:49

• 18:52

• 18:56
  basement, you're always welcome here.
• 18:58
And this isn't possible without you.
• 19:00
And by the way, I want to say thank you to channel sponsors.
• 19:05

• 19:12
Moon Pay. They're a leader in the fintech
• 19:15
arena. If you haven't heard of Moon
• 19:17
Pay, you will in the future. They are growing like crazy.
• 19:21
They are the Cadillac top notch company within the financial
• 19:24
technology arena. So thank you to our sponsors for
• 19:28
allowing and facilitating our Ron's basement meet up for you
• 19:32
and me right now. All right, guys.
• 19:35
Ironically and then we're going to move on to this big Florida
• 19:38
news. But ironically above it all.
• 19:42
And we started this by talking about how we are starting to see
• 19:46
kind of a frenzy at least at the Costco level for gold and silver
• 19:50
purchases in the United States. But then overall, and I think in
• 19:54
particular with silver, the retail demand has been subdued,
• 19:59
ironically above it all in the United States, right?
• 20:02
It blows my mind that we actually have some of the best
• 20:06
deals on a world because around the world people are buying
• 20:09
silver. I'm talking to people in South
• 20:11
Korea. Talking to people in India, of
• 20:14
course, China is buying silver like crazy, OK, but in the
• 20:19
United States, still subdued. However, especially when
• 20:23
compared to people in Europe, we get the best deal going.
• 20:27
I mean, it's kind of a crazy situation.
• 20:31
All right, sorry, I'm fighting off a cold, but I'm here for
• 20:33
you. But my, my friends, my basement
• 20:35
dwellers, let's talk about the big news out of Florida.
• 20:39
OK, Florida had some major news that I think can have a big
• 20:44
impact on the, on the gold price and the silver price and let's
• 20:51
get it up here. Here we go.
• 20:54
This came from our friends over at Citizens for Sound Money
• 20:58
yesterday. Big wind for sound, Big wind for
• 21:02
sound money in Florida legal tender.
• 21:05
House Bill 999 Legal tender passed in the Florida House of
• 21:09
Representatives with an overwhelming support level 112
• 21:14
yays to one nay. OK here.
• 21:18
Here's the big part. This critical piece of

legislation advances the legal legal status of gold and silver
• 21:24
as legal tender in the state of Florida, reaffirming
• 21:27
constitutional principles and providing Floridians with more
• 21:31
  financial freedom and protection.
• 21:34
Next stop, the Senate. The bill will be heard tomorrow,
• 21:37
which would be today, Thursday, April 24th in the Florida
• 21:41
  Senate. Stay tuned.
• 21:42
We're one step closer to making sound money a reality in the
• 21:47
Sunshine State and there's a video of it passing.
• 21:50
Why is this a big deal guys? Because Florida, right?
• 21:54
We know Florida's a big crypto state.
• 21:56
Florida's also a big gold and silver state in Florida, the
• 22:01
economy, I forget, I apologize the accurate you can, you can,
• 22:05
but you can Fact Check me on this that if Florida where its
• 22:08
own country, right that it would be like, I don't know, like the
• 22:11
14th largest in the world. Like their economy is huge.
• 22:15
The Florida economy is massive. A lot of people have been moving
• 22:18
to Florida. So we get Florida, we know
• 22:21
what's going on in Texas. We know what's going on across
• 22:24
the country with legal tender legislation for gold and silver
• 22:28
giving you right as a citizen of a state of one of the states
• 22:32
that has this legislation. You're right, there was in the
• 22:35
Constitution to use gold and silver as real money.
• 22:39
So we are rooting for the citizens for sound money and we
• 22:43
are rooting for the people in Florida.
• 22:45
We love D Phi, right, decentralized finance.
• 22:50
We like money, right? Like I showed you earlier here,
• 22:53
I'll show you one more time. Things like silver that aren't
• 22:57
  controlled by a central authority.
• 23:00
Big news was that Florida has at the House has passed the new
• 23:04
legal tender legislation. It's going to be heard in the
• 23:07
Senate today. And that's good for you.
• 23:10
That's good for me. That's good for anybody that's
• 23:12
into gold and silver precious metals, even crypto for that
• 23:16
matter, right, because crypto and gold and silver are D Phi
• 23:20
decentralized finance. That's what golden's that.
• 23:24
That's why gold and silver investors love gold and silver.
• 23:27
Silver does not depend. This here does not depend.
• 23:33
It wasn't me that screwed up. That was must have been a
• 23:35
technical problem right on a government to give to give it
• 23:40
its value. That silver in that coin right
• 23:44
could be 3000 years old. It could have been it, it's, it
• 23:48
didn't ever depend on a government or any institution or
• 23:52
any centralized power to give it its value.
• 23:56
Not like this, not like paper money, right?
• 23:58
This is what our founding fathers did not want.
• 24:01
So it's OK. Kind of ironic, right?
• 24:04
You get the founding fathers on these notes and they didn't want
• 24:08
these. They were dead set against them.
• 24:10
So it's a big deal that we get, we get legal tender legislation
• 24:15
passed. It's a big, big accomplishment
• 24:19
for the people of the state of Florida.
• 24:21
All right, guys, thanks for being here.
• 24:23
Have a great day. Let's go, gold and silver.
• 24:26
Let's go. We've got a big, bright future
• 24:28
ahead of us. I always appreciate when you
• 24:30
join me here in the basement. OK?
• 24:33
Be good to yourself. Have a great day, and I will see
• 24:36
  you soon. Thank you.
