🚨 $28,000 Gold! 🚨 IS THIS REAL -- (Silver Price Forecast too) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

• 0:01
Silver and gold investors, we have plenty to be optimistic
• 0:04
about. And on a day like today, we need
• 0:07
to remember that yes, $28,000 gold and yes, 300 to $500
• 0:13
silver. It's not me saying it, it's not
• 0:16
you saying it. It's two of the top analyst in
• 0:19
the world of precious metals. But before we get to that, let's
• 0:21
go do a look, a quick see, look at the what's happening right
• 0:26
now in the silver market. Here we are at CNBC.
• 0:30
This is the May futures contract down 4%, down $3.36.
• 0:36
Look, we've talked about this many times and as I was looking
• 0:39
at this chart before we came on, when you look at that chart of
• 0:43
silver, do you see what I see? Right, that isn't that a
• 0:46
Christmas song? Do you see what I see?
• 0:49
Well, what I see here, I'll just get the crayons out because we
• 0:53
need to be optimistic #1 this is one year, OK?
• 0:58
And what we see obviously is a big price run up over one year
• 1:03
in the price of silver. That's not really the important
• 1:07
part. What I see just it's plain as
• 1:09
day is that like this area right in here, this kind of spot has
• 1:15
been a massive consolidation for silver.
• 1:18
Look, it would have been great, right, Had we just continued up,
• 1:24
up in a way up in this point. Remember when we hit $120.00
• 1:27
silver? But it just, oh man, I can
• 1:30
almost not put it into words, but it just feels like kind of
• 1:34
  in here. We are consolidating.
• 1:36
Now. I've said many times, based on
• 1:38
all the analysis that I do that about $72 is the line in the
• 1:43
sand. If we go below that, I'll start
• 1:46
to get a little concerned, but I'm not concerned long term.
• 1:50
Not concerned what a long term one bit at all.
• 1:58
Sorry, lost audio there for a second because we are fine on a
• 2:01
long term basis when it comes to the silver price.
• 2:05
And you know what, let's go back a few years and just see how
• 2:08
well silver has done. This was astonishing to me.
• 2:13
A traditional money shared this from Silver Elephant since 2000.
• 2:18
Hold on, not sharing the right screen, there we go.
• 2:20
Sorry about that guys. Since 2016, the silver price
• 2:26
over the last 10 years, did you know this?
• 2:29
The silver price has gone up by almost 500%, almost 5X gold, up
• 2:34
by 335% in the M2 money supply, up by only quote UN quote 80%.
• 2:42
We're going to talk more about the M2 money supply later, but
• 2:45
there it is for those of you who like graphics, right, over the
• 2:48
last 10 years, gold, look at silver and compared to the M2
• 2:52
money supply. And of course, we're getting all
• 2:54
these comparisons with the performance of gold since like
• 3:00
the year 2000, excuse me, versus the S&P 500.
• 3:04
I mean, is silver even that guy, Michael Saylor, I think we
• 3:08
looked at that yesterday that put all that money into Bitcoin.
• 3:11
He'd have been way better off having put that money into
• 3:14
silver. I apologize for my voice.
• 3:19
We've had allergies around here lately.
• 3:21
Anyhow, the the outlook, whether we look back ten years or think
• 3:25
about this, we just looked at what silver's done 5X over the
• 3:29
last 10 years. Imagine 10 years from now.
• 3:33
Let's just roughly say we have a $80 silver price right now.
• 3:38
If we do 5X in the next 10 years, that'll be $400.00
• 3:42
silver. Which I know sounds obnoxious,
• 3:45
sounds crazy, but it's not actually with the worsening and
• 3:49
worsening of the financial situation of the United States
• 3:53
of America, right, is that debt clock number goes from 39 to 40
• 3:58
to 50 to 60 trillion. It could happen.
• 4:01
It could go much higher than that.
• 4:03
I'm, I know I get, I get a little bit of hate sometimes
• 4:07
from people that say, oh, you're talking about 300 five, $100
• 4:11
  silver. Well, it's not me.
• 4:12
I'm always referring, I actually believe silver's going to go to
• 4:15
like 800 or 1000 in that we could see that within the next
• 4:19
10 years. Now, of course, I'm not a
• 4:22
financial advisor, you know, do your own research.
• 4:25
I can give you this financial advice.
• 4:27
Please always be responsible. Diversify dollar cost average
• 4:32
into things like precious metals if that's what you decide to do.
• 4:36
  But that's what I see happening and I think it's a pretty much a
• 4:39
sure thing. What about the COT report?
• 4:41
The COT, the COT report, A lot of the big silver and gold
• 4:46
Youtubers like to focus on these super technical reports.
• 4:49
We're going to learn about it. Right now it's actually pretty
• 4:52
simple, but this is the post that I want to show you first.
• 4:56
Apparently some good news from the COT report.
• 4:59
Hold on here. Yep, from silver trade the
• 5:03
silver COT report, which I can I'll give you a sneak peek
• 5:06
stands for commitment of traders is a bull signal.
• 5:10
Large speculators net long 23,000 contracts up 145 this
• 5:16
week manage money piled on 932 launch to 14,770, open interest
• 5:22
up 1800. New money joining the bulls,
• 5:27
specs accumulating while commercials hedge silver's rally
• 5:31
has legs. So I wanted to like learn a
• 5:34
little bit about what that COT report is.
• 5:36
I knew it was the commitment of traders, but why is it so
• 5:39
important? So let's learn about this
• 5:41
together. The commitment of traders report
• 5:45
is a weekly scoreboard published by the government.
• 5:49
So we know we can trust that. That reveals exactly how
• 5:52
different groups are betting on the price of silver.
• 5:56
It breaks the market down into two main sides, the commercials,
• 6:01
who are usually those big banks, Oregon mining companies hedging
• 6:04
their physical silver, and the speculators like hedge funds and
• 6:10
retail investors like you and me.
• 6:12
We're just trying to profit from price swings.
• 6:15
By looking at this report, investors try to figure out if
• 6:18
the big players are feeling bullish, which according to
• 6:21
silver trade they are, or bearish, expecting the price to
• 6:26
drop. I think we most of us know what
• 6:28
bullish or bearish means. For example, if the big banks
• 6:31
suddenly stop betting against silver and start buying, which
• 6:36
is apparently what that report as of yesterday showed us, it's
• 6:42
often seen as a signal that a major price jump might be right
• 6:47
around the corner. So very interesting.
• 6:51
And, you know, we'll keep an eye on that.
• 6:53
  Yeah. I, I, I I don't mind.
• 6:55
I love looking at charts. I love hearing about cotton
• 6:58
reports and all this technical stuff.
• 7:00
But at the end of the day, guys, we know what it really comes
• 7:03
down to is the value of the US dollar going down the tubes, the
• 7:07
M2 money supply and the fundamental factor if we focus
• 7:11
on silver, that there's only so much silver on the planet Earth.
• 7:17
Don't tell anybody because you can still get it right at the
• 7:20
bullion. You can still get it at places
• 7:21
like first meant We'll talk about them in a second, right.
• 7:25
And that there's that there's a monetary component to silver
• 7:29
that's been around actually a little bit longer than gold.
• 7:32
Oh, and by the way, and we're going to talk about some crazy,
• 7:36
I mean most a new concept when it comes to solar, but there's
• 7:40
industrial demand for silver as well.
• 7:42
Hey, if you do want to get your hands on some silver, check out
• 7:45
channel sponsor First Meant. They are awesome.
• 7:48
They're in Las Vegas, NV, they are silver specialist mint.
• 7:53
That's all they do. They're owned by First Majestic
• 7:56
Silver, Keith Newmeyer's juggernaut silver company.
• 7:59
So the silver that you get from First Mint literally goes from
• 8:02
the mine to the mint directly to you.
• 8:05
It never shows up on a COT report.
• 8:08
It's COT free, it's spoof free, it's everything free and the
• 8:13
prices are so good. They're not free, but they're
• 8:15
  good. They're competitive.
• 8:16
They've got great customer service in a great selection.
• 8:19
  Here's their website, firstmint.com.
• 8:22
You can check them out. Hey, while we're out here, we'll
• 8:25
get the sponsorships mention Brixton Metals.
• 8:28
Thank you for sponsoring Ron's Basement.
• 8:30
They are a Canadian exploration stage precious metals company,
• 8:34
gold, silver, also nickel, cobalt and copper.
• 8:38
They got a huge copper project and they have a strategic
• 8:41
investment in their company from BHP, which is one of the largest
• 8:46
mining companies in the world. And I forgot to show Brixton, I
• 8:50
  apologize. There's
• 8:51
  brixtonbrixtonmetals.com. Next we'll go to 1st Mining
• 8:56
Gold. They've got 2 massive multi
• 8:58
million ounce development stage projects in Canada, Spring Pole
• 9:02
in Ontario and Du Parquet located in Quebec.
• 9:05
Literally millions of Oz of gold in the ground in Canada and
• 9:09
they're working through the development phase.
• 9:11
I always like owning the development phase and
• 9:15
exploration phase companies because I like this idea that
• 9:18
when you own the stock, these companies have massive amounts
• 9:21
of gold, silver, copper, everything in the ground.
• 9:26
  It's like it's in a vault. It's in Mother Nature's vault,
• 9:29
right? And there's a lot that goes in
• 9:30
between exploration development in the actual mining of the
• 9:34
metals. But the value proposition is
• 9:37
unbelievable. I'm going to share with you a
• 9:39
video later that you can watch that it.
• 9:41
I was a guest on a really cool precious metals channel that
• 9:46
focuses on the mining companies. Man, I am all over the place.
• 9:49
Hey, we got something fun and new and there's something really
• 9:53
cool about this. I got an e-mail yesterday from
• 9:56
some of our our fellow basement dwellers and super nice guys.
• 9:59
They're like, we built an app and will you check it out?
• 10:02
And I'm like, yeah, I'll check it out.
• 10:03
And I looked at it and I looked at it on my phone.
• 10:05
I was like, this is really cool. I want to share it with you
• 10:08
right now. It is called the metal tracker
• 10:13
terminal dot lovable dot app, metal dash tracker dash terminal
• 10:19
dot lovable dot app. But what I like about this, and
• 10:22
it's even easier to see on your phone.
• 10:24
They've got the gold price on the left column, the silver
• 10:27
price on the right column, but it's all in one place.
• 10:30
They also have China, right, the Shanghai Gold Exchange on the
• 10:34
left gold, on the right silver. But what I really like is
• 10:37
they've got this little thing that shows the premium $10.44
• 10:41
right now between the Shanghai Gold Exchange and the silver
• 10:45
spot price. But they also have Indias
• 10:48
market, which I can sometimes have a hard time seeing.
• 10:51
So the price of silver in India 80 just changed, just went up a
• 10:55
penny. 8349 our friends in India, but also shows that
• 10:59
premium in India as well. And they do.
• 11:02
They do the same. Wow, look at the premium.
• 11:06
Is that right? For gold in India?
• 11:09
This says $432 per oz. That's crazy.
• 11:15
Yeah, here, hold on. I'll circle that for you.
• 11:18
Maybe it's hard for you to see, but this little red thing
• 11:20
Anyway, go check this out again, metal dash tracker dot dot dash
• 11:26
terminal dot lovable dot app they're on.
• 11:31
They also have the gold to silver ratio, which I found
• 11:33
  interesting. In China, it's OK.
• 11:36
In the US we're about 61.61. Look at that.
• 11:40
In China, the gold to silver ratio is much, much lower.
• 11:44
OK, what about a massive correction?
• 11:50
Some people are saying the stock market's overvalued and we're
• 11:53
going to have a massive correction.
• 11:54
Doom and gloom. I don't really, I'm kind of 5050
• 11:58
on that one, but a lot of people are saying it and then they're
• 12:01
saying that gold and silver are going to get completely smashed.
• 12:04
Well, there's one guy out there who I got a lot of respect for,
• 12:08
Jordan, Roy Byrne, and he put out his perspective on that very
• 12:12
fact right here. Let's see what Jordan has to say
• 12:15
about a correction and then a like smash down in the gold and
• 12:19
silver price. He said gold already dropped
• 12:25
27%. Silver has been cut in half.
• 12:29
I mean, think about that, right? All these people that are
• 12:31
saying, oh, we're going to have a 2008 GFC type crash in the
• 12:35
markets and that's going to make gold.
• 12:36
And so gold and silver kind of already had their crash.
• 12:39
Remember, what was that January 28th Friday I think it was?
• 12:43
I don't know. Did the air conditioner stop
• 12:46
working at the Comex? Anyway, high quality juniors
• 12:50
were sold off 30 or 40%. Gold's open interest right now
• 12:55
is at a 17 year low. Silver's was at a 15 year low
• 12:59
just weeks ago. Now you want to talk a guy talk
• 13:02
about a guy who knows about the technical sides of gold and
• 13:04
silver. I think Jordan Roy Byrne knows
• 13:07
it as good as anybody. He's a great chart analyst as
• 13:10
well. So we're going to listen to him,
• 13:12
he says. Yet all I see and hear is fear
• 13:15
about a stock market crash in a 2008 style gold wipeout.
• 13:20
He says the 2008 boogeyman is back, right?
• 13:25
No. The correction might drag on in
• 13:27
time, but the lows are in and I want to know that he's talking
• 13:31
about the lows that we are seeing in the gold and silver
• 13:36
price now. So thank you, Jordan.
• 13:38
And I'm in that camp as well. Like, you know, right, silver
• 13:42
already kind of had a crash. I mean, remember what February,
• 13:46
remember what March felt like? You remember what today?
• 13:48
Well, today is not a crash, but you get my point, guys.
• 13:51
We're fine with silver as long as we stay above $72.50.
• 13:56
That's the basement. That's the basement floor.
• 14:00
We get below that. We're going to start singing a
• 14:03
different tune. We're still very bullish long
• 14:06
term. I won't go through the reasons
• 14:08
with you again. You know those reasons, but
• 14:10
  nonetheless, what about $28,000 gold?
• 14:14
Yes, I put it out there on the the thumbnail image for this
• 14:18
live stream video. Sometimes I get attacked like oh
• 14:21
yours, it's clickbait. No, it's not clickbait.
• 14:24
It's real and there's a real analyst Patrick Karen, another
• 14:28
one that Northstar bad charts. This guy gets respect in the
• 14:33
world of precious metals and he's going to show us, it's real
• 14:36
easy to understand how we could be in for $28,000 gold and how
• 14:41
$28,000 gold would be. Would it would have been a fact
• 14:46
if this had happened back in 1980?
• 14:49
I'll explain to you why right now.
• 14:50
Hey, before I forget, man, thank you for being down here.
• 14:53
We love talking about gold and silver.
• 14:56
  You're a basement dweller. I'm it's like you're our little
• 14:58
time together in the basement. Please subscribe to the channel.
• 15:01
We want you to come back and if you can give us a thumbs up,
• 15:04
that's awesome as well, $28,000 gold.
• 15:08
Patrick Karim right there. He is from 130.
• 15:11
That's a lot of followers for gold and silver.
• 15:14
Analyst Northstar, bad charts, chart trader, scientific weight
• 15:17
of evidence, market analysis, incorporating risk and money
• 15:21
management. He says gold is heading towards
• 15:24
being worth 4 times the price of the stock market, the S&P 500,
• 15:30
which is currently around 7000 as of the last few days.
• 15:34
Why? He says it would not surprise me
• 15:37
to see a $28,000 price tag on gold before it's all said and
• 15:45
done because has has has the gold price ever been 4X the S&P
• 15:51
500? So the S&P 507,000 and gold were
• 15:56
to be 4 times as valuable. That would make $28,000 gold.
• 16:00
So on his chart, let's hold on me move this out of the way.
• 16:05
Get this over here. OK, we are right here right now
• 16:11
about .6. If you darn it, this is going to
• 16:14
bug me. Let's move this over here.
• 16:17
There we go. OK, so gold versus the S&P 500,
• 16:21
that's what this chart is showing.
• 16:23
You take the gold price and you divide it by the S&P 500 like a
• 16:27
fraction. Right Now, let's say we got
• 16:29
what, $4800 gold divided by 7000 and we're going to be over here
• 16:34
about .61. That's right here on this chart.
• 16:39
OK, we've gotten this low is .2 right, right around the time we
• 16:44
had the tech bubble, right? That that that period of time
• 16:47
we've been as high in 19801979AS4.
• 16:54
Where is it right here? Wow, actually there's four.
• 16:58
That's the four to one target. And the reality is I didn't
• 17:03
realize this guys, there's four. We got as high to me looks like
• 17:08
at some points as 7 on this chart when they, if you look at
• 17:13
this upper Wick up here that you can barely see, but trust me, it
• 17:16
goes up there. If we were at 7 S&P, I'm sorry,
• 17:20
gold to S&P 500 ratio, that would be at 7000 S&P, that would
• 17:26
  be $49,000 gold. Wow, unbelievable.
• 17:31
But the point here, and even if we go back to 2011, OK, we were
• 17:37
at 1.5 gold price, the S&P 500. So that would mean right now if
• 17:44
we were at that ratio, we would be at about 14131415.
• 17:49
Can we get a fifteen $15,000 gold?
• 17:52
This is not out of the question. I'm going to take this chart off
• 17:56
the screen. This is not fantasy.
• 17:58
This is a mathematical record of what has happened in the past,
• 18:04
OK? This is not some dream, right?
• 18:06
And on top of that, if you factor in the US government
• 18:10
financial situation right now aired in 1980, we're in way
• 18:14
worse condition. So people get mad at me, right?
• 18:17
People can say, oh, you're crazy telling me we can get $28,000
• 18:21
gold. No, the proof's in the pudding,
• 18:24
right? And I would argue that it could
• 18:26
even go higher because we are in worse condition.
• 18:29
The situations are much worse. We've got, we got more debt
• 18:33
right now, right, than we have ever had in history as a
• 18:36
  country, right? That's the fact.
• 18:39
On top of that, we've got an oil, such an oil crisis.
• 18:42
That's the worst that we've ever had.
• 18:44
Think about it, right, Right. So when we look at 19801970 to
• 18:49
1980, you know, that whole story, we're in way worse shape
• 18:52
  right now. The underlying fundamental
• 18:56
conditions are way worse. And like Jordan Roy Burton said,
• 18:59
we already had a crash in the gold price and silver price.
• 19:02
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe in three months.
• 19:04
I'm sitting down here saying, guys, silver's it.
• 19:07
  I mean, silver's at $44.00 an ounce.
• 19:11
And I'm crying, OK, and I'm shaking.
• 19:14
I'm cold out here in the basement.
• 19:16
But I don't think so. That just seems, that seems out
• 19:19
of the realm of possibilities, doesn't it?
• 19:22
Right. Now, think about this, right
• 19:24
though, that chart that I showed you, those are real hard
• 19:27
numbers. If, if we were at the same ratio
• 19:31
right now that we were in 1980, we'd be a $28,000 gold.
• 19:35
Where do you think I have to get my calculator out?
• 19:38
Where do you think we would be? Hold on, If we had a 50 to 1
• 19:42
gold to silver ratio, 50 to 1, which is not, I mean, some
• 19:47
people say we're going to go to 30, we're going to be
• 19:49
conservative. We'll be wildly optimistic with
• 19:51
the gold price 28,000, but we'll be where's my calculator?
• 19:55
There it is, 28,000 divided by a 50 to 1 gold to silver ratio.
• 20:01
The answer I don't know if yeah, you can see it, that would be
• 20:06
  560. Dollar per oz silver.
• 20:14
Wow, that would be absolutely incredible.
• 20:19
  Yes, Upstairs, Susie, what's something?
• 20:23
Happened on the news to cause this little drop today in the
• 20:30
gold and silver. Oh, upstairs, Susie has a
• 20:33
question that maybe some of you are pondering as well.
• 20:36
She's wondering that something happened in the news that caused
• 20:38
the drop in gold and silver. Before I answer that, let's just
• 20:42
go out and take a look real quick and make sure there wasn't
• 20:45
more of a drop since we came on. Hold on here.
• 20:48
And now we're still down about four or 5%.
• 20:52
Now with the, the, the, the reason, Susie into you, the
• 20:56
viewers that we're having this, it's short term noise, OK?
• 20:59
The reason why we got the silver prices down today, nothing more
• 21:03
than short term noise. It's speculation that these
• 21:06
peace talks aren't going to happen between the US and, I
• 21:10
don't know, maybe it's changed in the last 30 minutes.
• 21:13
It's speculation about the Straits of Hormuz being open,
• 21:16
being closed, being open, being closed.
• 21:18
It's speculation about the ceasefire, but it's thought that
• 21:22
things aren't looking good. The, the general consensus is
• 21:25
that there's worry that the, that the, that the peace talk
• 21:30
situation is not going well. That may have changed.
• 21:37
Oh, Wash, that's another. Thank you, man.
• 21:40
  Upstairs, Susie. OK, thank you.
• 21:45
For those of you who are new, this is our lovely assistant
• 21:49
upstairs, Susie, who also happens to be my wife, and she
• 21:52
  communicates on this walkie-talkie.
• 21:54
  Yeah, Wash, apparently the headlines.
• 21:56
Let's back up here. And then there was something
• 21:59
else she said. Maybe she'll remind me.
• 22:01
But Wash is the new nominee for the Fed Apparently.
• 22:04
He said he's not going to just do President Trump's bidding,
• 22:08
which people may have looked at as well.
• 22:11
I'm not going to lower interest rates.
• 22:13
But let's be real. He's probably going to say
• 22:17
whatever he needs to say to get elected.
• 22:20
So that also some combination of what's going on in the in the
• 22:24
Middle East and, and, and speculation that things aren't
• 22:28
going well there. And then what, what Wash is
• 22:31
saying as well are probably the two biggest factors that today
• 22:35
are having. It's a short term, it's noise
• 22:38
guys. It's noise that's driving these
• 22:41
these markets. I know, look, it's volatility.
• 22:44
We talk about that all the time down here.
• 22:46
I understand red days. I don't like it.
• 22:49
It's a little depressing when you see the silver price down
• 22:52
  5%. Yeah, OK.
• 22:54
But haven't we established right this it's there's going to be
• 22:58
volatility And remember the one year chart we looked at and
• 23:01
silver it, you know, a year ago right now I got news for you
• 23:05
guys and me as well. If we were sitting down here one
• 23:10
year ago, let's go look. All right, let's go look at the
• 23:13
it's already up for US. One year ago right now, the
• 23:17
silver price was about $33 per oz if we've been sitting down
• 23:22
here together. And a lot of you were right.
• 23:26
And we, we, we talked about, you know, a year ago at $33 silver
• 23:31
price that we'd be sad because we have $76 silver price a year.
• 23:36
In a year, we would have been jumping for joy.
• 23:41
We'd have been having a party. I'd have been dancing with that
• 23:43
big stuffed bear behind me, right?
• 23:45
I mean, so just remember that. And don't forget, right, that,
• 23:49
that that bear, that's the silver bear.
• 23:51
He had a $85 blindfold on for years.
• 23:54
We took that off. So things are OK.
• 23:57
Things will continue to get better.
• 23:59
There was something else Susie brought up.
• 24:01
Susie, I forgot the other question you had or maybe that I
• 24:05
had. Another question, I just did
• 24:09
that super. Chat OK, Yep, Yep, we will.
• 24:12
We will get to that. Let's talk about the M2 money
• 24:15
supply. Jesse Colombo, right, like the
• 24:18
the hottest rising star in the world, three to three to $500
• 24:22
silver. Let's go check it out.
• 24:24
But what he talks about also is the M2 money supply.
• 24:28
And we're going to learn why that is so important for us to
• 24:32
  understand. And here he is.
• 24:35
Make sure I got the right screen up.
• 24:36
Here we go. This is Jesse Colombo.
• 24:39
He writes a sub stack called the Bubble Bubble Report.
• 24:42
It's like, I think the biggest sub stack in the world of gold
• 24:46
and silver. And there's a reason why this
• 24:48
guy is smart and he's dead on. Let's talk about the M2 money
• 24:52
supply and then let's talk about the silver price.
• 24:56
He says with all the concern over the rising cost of living
• 24:59
in the United States and globally, the root cause is
• 25:03
being ignored, which is the rapid expansion of the money
• 25:06
supply. And that's one of the biggest.
• 25:09
OK Anyway, a core tenant of my outlook is that a new secular
• 25:13
bull market in precious metals began 2 years ago based on
• 25:17
historical patterns and will persist for at least a decade.
• 25:22
In this scenario, I see gold reaching 15 to 20,000 per oz and
• 25:29
silver reaching 300 to $500.00 an ounce, with platinum,
• 25:34
Palladium, mining stocks all rising on a commensurate level.
• 25:38
OK in green. One of the reasons why I am so
• 25:41
bullish on precious metals and miners is the relentless
• 25:45
expansion of the money supply both in the US and globally, and
• 25:49
how that erodes the purchasing power of Fiat or paper
• 25:54
  currencies, resulting in inflation.
• 25:57
OK, we got some and we got some other cool things to talk about
• 26:00
with this. Precious metals are the best
• 26:02
hedges against that over the long run, especially in tough
• 26:05
times. I see a head in which this Fiat
• 26:09
money regime has existed since 1971 unravels.
• 26:15
We're going to look at the chart in one second, but I want to
• 26:17
remind you of something, OK, what what started in 1971 and
• 26:22
went through 1980, OK, where we had this unbelievable rally in
• 26:28
silver from now under $1.50 to over $50.
• 26:32
Think about this. This just hit me.
• 26:34
This is very important 1970 to 1980.
• 26:39
Nixon took us off the gold standard in 1971.
• 26:42
That was just the absolute beginning of the world of Fiat
• 26:46
money in the United States. That was like the the, the the
• 26:50
first couple innings. Now we've got 50 years of built
• 26:55
up, 56 years of built up mismanagement of the Fiat.
• 26:59
Look at what is the point is look at what gold and silver did
• 27:03
during that period, right? Like Jesse said, the post 1971
• 27:06
when they expanded the money supply started to expand.
• 27:09
They'd print money out of thin air, but that was just the very
• 27:13
beginning. They were just getting their
• 27:14
little foot sweat beezies wet at the Fed.
• 27:17
They were like, oh, we can gosh, we don't have to back up the
• 27:21
money with gold and silver anymore.
• 27:23
We can, we can print. And so when they first started
• 27:26
doing it, they were just, you know, they had their training
• 27:29
  wheels on. Well, guess what?
• 27:31
The training wheels are off at the Fed now.
• 27:35
They're like driving one of those Kawasaki Ninja
• 27:37
motorcycles. I that that dawned on me this
• 27:40
morning when I was reading through what Jesse said.
• 27:42
OK, now let's go back and look at the chart just to get an idea
• 27:46
of what he's talking about with this bull market and where
• 27:51
things started. OK, wrong one, go down a little
• 27:55
bit. All right, one more quick
• 27:57
paragraph. I want to point out that the USM
• 27:59
2 money supply bottomed out just six months before the current
• 28:03
secular bull market and precious metals began.
• 28:06
And I believe that this is no coincidence, OK?
• 28:10
The M2 money supply did bottom and then six months later the
• 28:14
bull market started. But one of the primary reasons
• 28:17
why precious metals took off. So if we look at his chart here,
• 28:21
OK, you can see, OK, this is where in red the M2 money supply
• 28:26
bottomed in October of 2023 right here.
• 28:30
And then very clearly, right, it starts to go up and that's six
• 28:34
months later in gold. He's got that's where the
• 28:38
current secular bull market in precious metals began in April
• 28:44
of of 2024. And he's calling.
• 28:47
And again, this is the M2 money supply.
• 28:51
Since October, when it bottomed, the M2 money supply has surged
• 28:55
by 2 trillion, or 2%. Let's go out to the US debt
• 29:00
clock, right and see proof of what he's talking about, which
• 29:05
is right. Where's the M2 money supply?
• 29:07
There it is right in the middle left of your screen.
• 29:11
I don't know if I can circle this for you.
• 29:13
Yes, I can or not. That's the M2 money supply.
• 29:17
Is it still going up? Well, let's look.
• 29:19
  Let's see if we can keep track. There's 300, it's 22 trillion,
• 29:24
700 billion, but let's see how long it takes for another
• 29:27
$100,000 to get added to the M2 money supply.
• 29:32
OK, here we we are. We're coming up on 700 thousand,
• 29:36
800,900 thousand. OK, so you get my point.
• 29:43
The M2 money supply continues to expand, as does the US national
• 29:49
  debt. We're now at 39 trillion, $146
• 29:54
  billion. It's really astonishing what's
• 29:58
going on right now in the world. I'm going to I've got some crazy
• 30:02
insights for you about solar. We'll talk about that tomorrow,
• 30:06
but I want to show you something.
• 30:07
I was a guest on a new guy who started a channel in the gold
• 30:12
and silver sector. I was his first like non mining,
• 30:16
non CEO level guest. I want to show you his channel
• 30:19
really quick. I'll ask you to help support
• 30:21
  him. He's a great guy.
• 30:23
His name's Dan. He's from the resource update
• 30:26
and here let me pull it up on on full screen.
• 30:30
You can go check this out. There it is in the upper left
• 30:32
corner, the resource update. And here I am representing you
• 30:37
basement dwellers on other channels out on YouTube and a
• 30:40
monetary setup like we have now in terms of providing A tailwind
• 30:45
for the for the for the metals prizes.
• 30:47
I think one of the biggest factors that that will influence
• 30:51
things going forward is more people waking up.
• 30:57
There He is the resource update. Super welcome to the resource
• 31:02
update. My name is Dan, and today I have
• 31:04
the great pleasure of having on Ron from Ron's basement.
• 31:08

Anyway, we got into all kinds of crazy interesting stuff.
• 31:20
He's a super smart guy who's going to become more and more
• 31:24
popular in the world of precious metals.
• 31:26
So go check him out. The resource update.
• 31:29
Hey, thank. Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
• 31:31
Excuse me. It's time for a couple people to

Hold on here. See if I can say from Ross Rosa,
• 32:17
I'm sorry, Rosa Abarca. Thank you, Rosa for that super
• 32:21

We're in for years and decades of good times in the precious
• 32:59
metal sector. And I can't think of anybody
• 33:02
else than you, our community members that I'd like to spend
• 33:05
it with. So thank you for being here.
