- 3:53to tell our beautiful little princesses and princes? What we're
- 3:56reading today?
- 3:57Speaker 2: Baby?
- 4:01Speaker 5: We are reading two stories. Well, hold on, we gotta
- 4:05do Yeah, we're recording. You have to do the oh shit, duh.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Welcome back to creep Isaiah can't talk won doing the
- 4:11thing because it throws off my groove. Okay, please, thank you.
- 4:16We've discussed this before. Now I have to get my
- 4:20whole I have to do my whole remedy. Hold on, ye, well,
- 4:27it's just every time, it's so Welcome back to creep Cast.
- 4:35Today we're going to be reading a beautiful story called help.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I'm trapped in a sitcom season one episode one.
- 4:46Speaker 5: That one, and but there's another one that.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Were well, potentially need to see how that. That's fucking busy.
- 4:52I gotta see how much long we can do. I
- 4:54don't know if we're going to be able to have
- 4:55time to do that one. Okay, so we'll fucking fill
- 4:59it in later.
- 4:59Speaker 2: We'll see. I don't know.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Well, the other one, if we get to it, is
- 5:03I've uncovered videotapes revealing malicious reality shows, so get it.
- 5:06Sitcom reality show theme of the episodes creepy shows, everyone
- 5:11really creepy. I was more hyped about before Hunter started
- 5:15this podcast by moaning into the microphone. But whatever, you
- 5:21guys haven't seen it yet, but we've recorded an episode
- 5:23that I think's going up this Sunday by a writer
- 5:28known as Max Voyage. Max Voyage hasn't posted in six years,
- 5:32but we read two stories from them as part of
- 5:35a grab bag on the episode that they'll be going
- 5:37up on the current week while we're recording, and there
- 5:40were both bangers, and then we saw the sitcom one
- 5:43decided to give it a try. So the best way
- 5:45to reach reach Max Voyage seems to be his Reddit.
- 5:49I don't see any other links to his writing beyond that,
- 5:51but he's got a ton of stories on No Sleep
- 5:54and the Cryptic Compendium and stuff like that, so be
- 5:57sure to check them out at the link in the description. Also,
- 6:01for those that don't know, we are live streaming this
- 6:04to the Patreon at the same time, so I'm seeing
- 6:07people's reactions hurling by. I'm seeing a lot of water
- 6:11emojis and a lot of people with turnk Brownie profile pictures,
- 6:16so I don't We'll see how this goes so.
- 6:19Speaker 3: If you want to join this live stream next time,
- 6:21feel free to join our Patreon. We can hang out
- 6:24with these fucking degenerates that are spamming the chat.
- 6:28Speaker 2: You know what, never mind, don't even do it. Never mind,
- 6:31this is enough.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Don't even do what?
- 6:33Speaker 3: Just don't don't don't even don't even bother sign it up.
- 6:37Speaker 2: We have enough people in here. This is too much.
- 6:39Look at this, Jesus Christ, it is.
- 6:41Speaker 5: I can't keep up with it.
- 6:42Speaker 2: I will say.
- 6:43Speaker 5: Patreon has fixed the thing I think where the chat
- 6:46would be too much and you couldn't see the bottom
- 6:48of it.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Yeah, so we're it is better. I am so though.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Like I said, for the people here, the rat King
- 6:55short story is really fucking cool. We were able to
- 6:57read two of his stories, and both really good. I'm
- 6:59curious to see this one too. I really like I
- 7:02I love these uh, I really like these uh these
- 7:05stories where I don't know, like it's like a fourth
- 7:08wall breaking kind of meme, you know what I mean,
- 7:11like a deal of some dude. Actually, I'm curious to
- 7:13see how he uses a screenplay format to uh create
- 7:17a creepy pasta.
- 7:18Speaker 2: It's gonna be fun, so one.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Said, will this be Sunday's episode. No, as much as
- 7:22we hate our editors, we don't give them that type
- 7:25of turnaround times.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Like this will be a future one.
- 7:30Speaker 5: This will be a future one.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 5: The one going again, the one going up this week
- 7:33is this guy's story. But we recorded it like two
- 7:35or three recordings ago.
- 7:36Speaker 2: Have you seen that? Have you seen that?
- 7:38Speaker 7: Uh?
- 7:39Speaker 3: The video that German kid playing Fortnite, that's one of
- 7:43my favorite.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I love that one. I love the one so much.
- 7:46Speaker 5: Why did you bring that up?
- 7:48Speaker 3: I don't really know, uh, because because people are saying yippie,
- 7:51That's what I'm thinking, because he doesnight.
- 7:55Speaker 2: You freaking hippadaf he cool? Is that bitty it's sucking
- 8:06foot night.
- 8:09Speaker 3: And like the whole the whole translation is like I
- 8:11just want to I want to drink Coca Cola and
- 8:13play Fortnite or something. And he has the most genuine
- 8:17yippy evertnight.
- 8:22Speaker 5: It is a haunting how much the Patreon and your
- 8:25people in chatter, just your minions to say something. It's
- 8:30just like whatever, it's so good to point them towards.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Just out.
- 8:34Speaker 5: Before we recorded, Hunter was like, oh we should stream
- 8:36this to Patreon. I'm like, well, yeah, let's do it
- 8:38next time when I can set everything up. He's like, no,
- 8:40we have to do it this time. We've got to
- 8:42do it right now.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And listen. I since you've been hey, sind you been gone.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Now, since you've been gone, I've been me and the
- 8:51me and the Patreon chat. We've been getting down and
- 8:54dirty together. We're we're homies now. So it's been too long.
- 8:58I need to my fix with my with my Patreon pals,
- 9:02my pepis ope that doesn't work, my patreon, my Patreon friends.
- 9:06Speaker 5: That doesn't like it, don't even go back to reverse
- 9:09a reverse parasocial relationship. That's really cool of you.
- 9:13Speaker 2: It's good. Yeah, I need them. That's I have to
- 9:17have them.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Or also, I'll fold in on my about streaming this
- 9:22episode this week, so yeah, we have to.
- 9:26Speaker 2: All right, well.
- 9:28Speaker 5: We're going to be reading one, potentially two stories. We'll
- 9:32see how it goes. Thank you to the patrons for
- 9:34being a part of today's live recording. So actually this
- 9:37is kind of fitting. We're doing a sitcom episode and
- 9:40we have a live studio audience while we so thank
- 9:45you to our live studio audience and all of the
- 9:47people on Patreon. Again, the artists slash artists that we're
- 9:50covering today will be linked in the description. Is there
- 9:53anything else we're missing?
- 9:55Speaker 4: No?
- 9:55Speaker 3: The only thing we need to establish is that in
- 9:57the script format, you should read says me, So like
- 10:02if it says me, you'll take those lines and I'll
- 10:03take everything else.
- 10:05Speaker 5: All right, sounds good? All right, Well, without further ado,
- 10:09are you ready to get into it?
- 10:11Speaker 2: Let's go help.
- 10:13Speaker 5: I'm trapped in a sitcom Season one, episode one, season
- 10:18one pilot, an empty room cathod ray television plays. The
- 10:23image is grainy, stretched over the screen like a membrane
- 10:28theme tune, hollow, empty, a parody of something I have. Remember,
- 10:33this is all I see, living room. I am on
- 10:37the couch, tie undone, your cold in my hand? TV
- 10:41is playing. I do know how I got here. Broom
- 10:45feels spacious, opens itself up around me. There's a noise
- 10:49at the door. The lock slowly turns and the door opens. Okay,
- 10:59well think I have an applause sound effect.
- 11:02Speaker 2: I'm sorry? Was my not fucking good enough?
- 11:05Speaker 7: No?
- 11:05Speaker 5: It wasn't. Uh well the stream should have been able
- 11:20to hear it.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Okay, well, well.
- 11:22Speaker 5: It's like it's I looked over I looked over at
- 11:27the audio bar and it was peaked red the whole time.
- 11:30Speaker 4: I'm sure.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Everyone's like, everyone's like, yeah, all.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Right, there you get it.
- 11:41Speaker 2: We're in the I want to do the one.
- 11:43Speaker 3: I want to do the one where it's like, actually, dude,
- 11:46I can wait, hold on, I forgot I can let
- 11:48me know if you can hear this, I'm gonna record
- 11:50this one second. Okay, yeah, all right, now it should
- 11:57be on a button, so I should do I.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Can't hear that.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Okay, that's unfortunate. Well I tried.
- 12:08Speaker 5: Okay, Well anyway, I can do. What else can I
- 12:12can do this to them? Everyone wants I just hit
- 12:18an air horn.
- 12:23Speaker 2: You're right, this is pretty cool.
- 12:25Speaker 5: I could just hit sound effects and everyone's like, oh
- 12:27my god, that's pretty great.
- 12:31Speaker 2: I like that.
- 12:32Speaker 5: This is this is fun. You are right, okay, all right?
- 12:40Where are we?
- 12:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 12:40Speaker 5: Cheering applause? Oh oh yeah, hold on, hold on to
- 12:44get back. I freeze. What was that? For a moment,
- 12:56I think it might just be Tonight's or the kettle whistling,
- 12:59but the sun is unmistakable. It's an audience cheering, and
- 13:03as they cheer, my friend Bill walks through the door.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Miss me, Champ.
- 13:08Speaker 5: He moves his hands and his hips as he says, Champ,
- 13:11I practice over the top motion. He grins like a wolf.
- 13:15I was frozen for a second, and there's a dead
- 13:17air in the silence. Did you hear that?
- 13:21Speaker 2: Hear what? Champ?
- 13:24Speaker 5: I frowned. He must have heard it. It was loud
- 13:27and obnoxious. It was so loud I couldn't think the applause,
- 13:32the cheering when you entered. Bill grins wiggles his hips again,
- 13:37offers me a theatrical shrug, as if to say, no idea,
- 13:40what you're on about.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Well, at least someone's glad I'm here.
- 13:45Speaker 5: I don't think I have a laughter one.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Also, for love of God, turn up your fucking mic
- 13:51so people will stop bitching and chat.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I'm maximized, believable. It's touching.
- 13:56Speaker 3: Then you need to lay down the law and tell
- 13:58him that it's fucking good enough.
- 13:59Speaker 2: Okay, off, all right.
- 14:02Speaker 5: You turn on your listen to the stream for a
- 14:05second and see if you can hear. I heard it
- 14:06sounds fine, Okay, then everyone else grow I.
- 14:10Speaker 2: See one more.
- 14:11Speaker 3: If I see one, if I see one more fucking
- 14:13comment about it, I'm we're in this ship.
- 14:16Speaker 2: You hear me.
- 14:17Speaker 5: Tell me if you see one more comment right now?
- 14:19Speaker 2: All right, I will all right, go ahead.
- 14:21Speaker 5: Okay, I saw someone said turn it.
- 14:26Speaker 2: You can't let them. You can't let the one I
- 14:29hit the air horn.
- 14:31Speaker 5: They kid, I freeze. What was that? For a moment,
- 14:35I think it might just be tonight is or the
- 14:38kettle whistling. But the sound is unmistakable. It's an audience cheering,
- 14:42and as they cheer, my friend Bill walks through the door.
- 14:45You've already read, I read, I read, I already read
- 14:48all that. See we're gonna edit that out of the
- 14:50final cut. But now there's a live audience who knows.
- 14:53Speaker 2: That I do.
- 14:53Speaker 4: You know what?
- 14:54Speaker 2: It's because we have weird. We have stage fright, is
- 14:58what it is.
- 14:59Speaker 3: Yeah, it's because of the people fucking complaining and doing
- 15:02all this fucking ship and it's.
- 15:03Speaker 5: So we don't get stage fright on stage. No, get
- 15:07it when we're in our house recording.
- 15:09Speaker 3: Okay, when I'm on stage. When I'm on stage, I
- 15:13just get the scaredy farts. No you don't, Yeah, I
- 15:17do it, reeks, I do a little.
- 15:20Speaker 5: Give me some of those stage with you five times?
- 15:23You have never was the story? What was this not.
- 15:33Speaker 4: You bare?
- 15:34Speaker 5: You are scared of breathing up there? Let alone?
- 15:37Speaker 3: I feel like I feel like, honestly, sometimes you get
- 15:39you give it back to it, because there are sometimes
- 15:41where I'm like, he is letting something loose over there.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Don't they give it back?
- 15:47Speaker 2: You do?
- 15:49Speaker 3: It's like Ali and Frasier trading blows. Is what it
- 15:51feels like on stage. Unbelievable.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Well, at least someone's glad I'm here.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Laughter and as he says that. As he speaks, the
- 16:00room he erupts and laughter. Canned laughter. I flinch, try
- 16:04and look around to see if I can see the source,
- 16:06but nothing. The room is empty. There was again canned laughter.
- 16:13Bill winks and swaggers towards me.
- 16:15Speaker 2: Hey, you know, it's not a crime to admit I'm funny, right.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Bill, cold sweat beat on my back, My hands become
- 16:22clinched fists.
- 16:23Speaker 2: You can't hear it.
- 16:25Speaker 5: Bill's stomach rumbles.
- 16:26Speaker 2: The only thing I can hear is that it's beer.
- 16:28Oh clock.
- 16:31Speaker 5: Laughter again.
- 16:33Speaker 2: I hate Bill, by the way, I.
- 16:36Speaker 5: Say, Bill, is you?
- 16:38Speaker 2: This is an interaction between me and you?
- 16:40Speaker 5: Never without question?
- 16:42Speaker 3: No, no no, no, I no no no, I no no,
- 16:47I'm not gonna acknowledge that.
- 16:49Speaker 5: No, wrong, that's one hundred percent something you would say.
- 16:53Speaker 2: The only thing I can hear is is beer a clock.
- 16:56Speaker 5: That's you. The sweat, the swaggering of the hips, the
- 17:00like hips sachet it mentioned, that's also something you would do.
- 17:04There's a clip of you that's very like well rounded
- 17:09on the Internet of you setting at the back of
- 17:11your set and then spreading your legs in and out
- 17:14while staring at the camera.
- 17:15Speaker 2: So that actually never happened.
- 17:18Speaker 5: I've seen it many times, many times. Anytime you say
- 17:21something crazy on Papa Meat, I get a thousand replies
- 17:24the next day. They're like, is this is you? This
- 17:27is your co host? You're with this gun, you support
- 17:30this gun.
- 17:31Speaker 2: I can't confirm or deny. All I know is that
- 17:34I don't like Bill Okay.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Oh no, that says a lot about you, I think. Okay.
- 17:40Speaker 3: I looked over that. I made the mistake too. I
- 17:42looked over chat is seriously like a fucking like a
- 17:45Japanese ghost or something.
- 17:46Speaker 2: I looked over.
- 17:47Speaker 3: The first thing I saw was fat Cam. Do you
- 17:50know what, dude? Why the fuck do I subject myself
- 17:54to this shit? I haven't sat there and I said
- 17:57they were my pals. What the fuck is up with this?
- 17:59It doesn't matter.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead, and keep reading.
- 18:04Speaker 5: Someone keeps saying, swig break that's something you.
- 18:07Speaker 8: Said, right, No, I'm pretty sure you said that.
- 18:10Speaker 5: Okay. He jumps over the back of the couch and
- 18:13fishes a beer from the six pack that's in front
- 18:15of us. Has that always been there? I only remember one?
- 18:19And the phone rings since when if we had a landline.
- 18:22It's an old fashioned sound, a mechanical shrill ringing that
- 18:26goes and goes. I imagine some brittle insect thrashing inside a
- 18:30plastic case. I'll get it. Bill shakes his head, grabs
- 18:34my shoulder. The scrip is tight. I try to shrug
- 18:37him off. Hey stop, he interrupts me, looks dead into
- 18:41my eyes. The phone's still ringing.
- 18:47Speaker 2: Done it?
- 18:50Speaker 5: Can you not read it like that? Can you be perceptible?
- 18:58At least so the discord picks it up?
- 19:01Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:02Speaker 5: Okay, whatever?
- 19:04Speaker 2: Bill? Please please don't answer something.
- 19:11Speaker 5: Okay, you know what? Maybe wherever you want? Sure, I'm not.
- 19:17My head hurts throbs against my skull. Am I hallucinating
- 19:22something about Bill? Almost shocks me. Such a departure from
- 19:26his previous cheery demeanor. He looks panicked older somehow, his
- 19:31teeth yellowed in the bags under his eyes, or the
- 19:33color of a bruise.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Okay, this is definitely me, Actually that is he? Yeah, No,
- 19:39two fucking persons, two Persian bags under my eyes. I'm
- 19:42just fucking absolute stained teeth, all right, Bill.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Persian bags. He speaks in a whisper, now, his tongue waiting,
- 19:52his lower lip.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Just please don't answer.
- 19:56Speaker 5: The phone cuts a hallway mark. I look at him,
- 20:02thousand questions on my lips. He says nothing. He soaked
- 20:06through to the bone. There's a gash on his forehead.
- 20:10Speaker 2: It's pouring out there.
- 20:12Speaker 5: He chews the nail, tries to walk past me. I
- 20:15can see the bulge of some implement inside his coat,
- 20:18and smell petrol and smoke on his skin. He's breathing deeply,
- 20:22panting almost. As he tries to walk past, he speaks.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Have you been here the entire time?
- 20:28Speaker 5: I have no idea what he's talking about. Been where?
- 20:32Turns to look at me, looks at me as if
- 20:34I'm someone else.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Entirely, I'm sorry, I had no choice when I turned
- 20:39to look.
- 20:40Speaker 5: I can see that the hallway behind me, the one
- 20:42Mark is walking down stretches as far as the eye
- 20:45can see. Pulogen lights flicker. Mark turns around, offers the
- 20:50ghost of a smile. He's possessing thing like someone else
- 20:56who's a part of the show.
- 20:58Speaker 2: I don't, I I don't know.
- 21:01Speaker 3: All I know is all I know. As I tried
- 21:03doing that was my legitimate earnest attempt at a Joey
- 21:06Wheeler kind of like accent, and it was atrocious. I'm
- 21:11going to try to really wrangle in Mark's voice more,
- 21:14but that was that was horrible.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Okay, that to me, it sounds like you were trying
- 21:18to do like a stereotypical like Raliota mobster accent.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Okay, well that's kind of that's kind of what it's. Yah,
- 21:25it's not terrible.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Then.
- 21:27Speaker 5: Some people have said you sound like Yogi Bear for
- 21:32you to fart into the microphone. Don't give it to them.
- 21:40This is what you want. Some one said Hunter is Moloch.
- 21:44That I agree with. I can get behind that. That
- 21:46Hunters of Mesopotamia.
- 21:48Speaker 3: You know, man, we're fucking hey, hey, we're we're we're
- 21:50reading a story. We're not we're not conversing with chat
- 21:54right now, right, there's moments for that, right now. We're
- 21:57locked the fuck in. You're so new to this, man,
- 22:01I've had so much more experience now with this, so
- 22:04usually my streams run a little more smooth. I run
- 22:06a bit of a tighter ship. But that's okay.
- 22:12Speaker 5: People just keep typing the word sniff as if they're
- 22:15like sniffing there. Yeah, speakers, when you did that, all right, well,
- 22:20at your audience, you built them. I'm just some guy
- 22:26that you imprisoned to be here to read stories for you.
- 22:29Speaker 3: I don't know why I thought you said impregnated at first,
- 22:31and I was gonna say, what you talking about?
- 22:35Speaker 5: Don't don't give them that, don't.
- 22:37Speaker 2: You know what's actually so fucked up?
- 22:41Speaker 3: I shouldn't say it out loud, but I will say
- 22:43you would take the best paternity whatever, photos like you
- 22:49in an autumn forest with a big bump.
- 22:53Speaker 2: You would.
- 22:53Speaker 3: It would look so natural, it's not even I mean,
- 22:55it would be unbelievable.
- 22:57Speaker 5: You know, you know, you know what makes me furious
- 22:58about this. I'm not even looking at the chat, but
- 23:01out of my peripheral when you start saying that, I
- 23:03can see it get faster. I can see more people
- 23:06got something to say, you start talking about it. I
- 23:09know for a fagnant.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I know for a fact too. You got that
- 23:12fucking tan ass skin and stuff. You would have that
- 23:15crazy at stretch marks that starts like right in the
- 23:18middle of your stomach and splits outwards that pregnant women get.
- 23:21You'd have one of those, and you'd proudly, you'd proudly
- 23:24display for everybody, hairy ass, fucking big belly sitting there
- 23:28holding it both hands.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Easy, easy, peasy.
- 23:32Speaker 5: I don't appreciate a lot of the comments people are
- 23:35publicly making about me and my podcast co host, my
- 23:41business partner. Some of the things that are being said
- 23:43in chat right now regarding me being pregnant are just obscene.
- 23:51Oh I don't okay, all right, all right, I want
- 23:55to keep reading the story.
- 23:56Speaker 2: Cuts a coffee shop.
- 23:58Speaker 5: I don't remember how I got here. One moment we
- 24:01were in my apartment, and then the hallway, and then
- 24:04the coffee cup is hot in my hand, small heart
- 24:06in the froth. When I look up at the barista,
- 24:10an attractive mid twenties woman bows her head and smiles,
- 24:14dazzling white, geometrically perfect teeth like small square tiles on
- 24:18a bathroom floor. I think, do I know her?
- 24:22Speaker 3: Bill's speaking, and that's when I turned to her and
- 24:25I say, talk about having a turkey.
- 24:29Speaker 5: Laughter, I sort of laughter. Canned laughter again makes me flinch.
- 24:36Lean in, Look behind me. No one's laughing here? Where's
- 24:41it coming from? The woman next to Bill looks familiar Stacy,
- 24:46I remember now, a college friend who had a thing
- 24:48with Bill until they broke up a few months ago.
- 24:51Still friends, though, Stacy grins as well.
- 24:55Speaker 2: Hope afterwards you made sure to flip her the bird laughter.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Who's can you do the laughter effect forulis? That's good?
- 25:10Can you just do the laughter effect from now on?
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I flinched again. I can't see a studio audience anywhere,
- 25:18but I imagine them faces pressed against the windows behind us, learying.
- 25:22It does from bathroom stalls and from under tables. I
- 25:25watched Stacy's hands pale small against her cup. She takes
- 25:30her ride and takes two sugar cubes from a bowl
- 25:32in the center of the table, dropping them into the
- 25:34murky brown liquid. I could see how perfectly manicured her
- 25:38nails are. As I study them closer, I noticed something
- 25:42there under the nail, bloody blood and what seems to
- 25:47be dirt. I don't know dirt, did Stacy? What's up
- 25:53with your nails? Were you cooking? That is kind of
- 25:58a funny thing to say, are you cooking?
- 26:00Speaker 2: It's like you assume it's dirt? What do you mean?
- 26:02Or were you cooking?
- 26:03Speaker 5: Oh?
- 26:04Speaker 3: You were?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Animals out of the ground right?
- 26:06Speaker 3: Also too, if you see bloody nails, how the fuck
- 26:08are you thinking that the brown thing under nails is
- 26:10dirt not pooh?
- 26:12Speaker 2: Am I wrong? Wouldn't you think that's just pooh? Why
- 26:15would you think that's dirt?
- 26:19Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I just see. Will you read the Windigoon
- 26:23impreg fan fiction hunter draw Windygoon Pregnant? How you've started
- 26:26something and it's so okay?
- 26:34Speaker 2: Am I wrong?
- 26:35Speaker 5: Though?
- 26:35Speaker 2: I mean, I know it's vulgar, but it's nasty.
- 26:39Speaker 3: But if I saw, if I saw perfectly manicured fingernails
- 26:43and I saw the little blood, I wouldn't assume that
- 26:45the brown substance underneath it is dirt.
- 26:47Speaker 5: I'm sure it's not just the color brown. I'm sure
- 26:49it looks like smell dirt. So you can tell that
- 26:51between dirt and poop?
- 26:53Speaker 2: I don't know. Depending on the kind of poo.
- 26:55Speaker 5: I mean, I guess it's kind of overlaps, but I
- 26:58actually it looks like I think the cases. It looks
- 27:00like she's been.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Digging, been digging at something.
- 27:05Speaker 2: A little scratching sniff is what it is.
- 27:07Speaker 5: I can't stand you with some of these alliterations you
- 27:10use for the grossest things. Okay, her face slips for
- 27:15a moment, at least that's the only way I can
- 27:18describe it, like her features all shut down and reboot.
- 27:21She turns to me, Oh, don't be silly. Flinch. When
- 27:28she says my name, it's censored with the same beep
- 27:30they use to sense her explicit songs. I watch her lips,
- 27:34but nothing my name? What's my name? Pause? She's hiding something.
- 27:42Don't be silly? Isn't a response? No, really, Stacy, that's
- 27:49not a response to my question. She takes a moment
- 27:53theatrically examines her nails, runs her tongue over her glossy teeth,
- 27:57takes another sugar cube from the bowl, examines it, drops
- 28:00it into her cup. There's something strange about it, the
- 28:03flat square planes of the cube disappearing into the black liquid.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Stupid questions get stupid answers.
- 28:10Speaker 5: There's something in her voice, something shaking, something broken and
- 28:14weeping and desperate, but it's just beneath the surface, only
- 28:18appearing in trimmers and ticks, and try to scratching her.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Should I try to do her line again, except more shaky.
- 28:26Speaker 4: Uh.
- 28:27Speaker 5: I think what you were doing was good where it's
- 28:28like stereotypical, like bimbo valley girl, a valley girl, but
- 28:33put a little put a little like on it.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Questions gets two answers somewhere between the two takes.
- 28:47Speaker 5: I think, see now the now with the live audience,
- 28:49they get to see us workshop this.
- 28:50Speaker 4: You don't.
- 28:50Speaker 5: We'll do this in episodes a lot where there will
- 28:53be a line and I just saw where's the windy
- 28:56tummy cam? I hate, I hate what you've done here.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I I eight stupid shablished stupid questions to get stupid answers.
- 29:04Speaker 5: That was good, That was it? That was it right there?
- 29:06That's it, that's it right there. So we do this
- 29:09a lot where we'll workshop a little like sentences and
- 29:11stuff you like, I'll put this inflection on it, change that,
- 29:13change that, and now you all get to see it.
- 29:16But all they care about is but can I have
- 29:21the hairy wendy tummy? Okay, there's something in her voice,
- 29:25something shaking, something broken and weeping and desperate, But it's
- 29:29just beneath the surface, only appearing in trimmers and ticks.
- 29:32And she starts scratching her face. Stacy, what's going on?
- 29:38She looks panicked for a second, as if somewhere someone
- 29:40has said her name. Eyes wide, she leans forward slams
- 29:44her forehead against the glass table in front of us.
- 29:46Once the table shakes, coffee spills. The table is fractured
- 29:51and there are small shards in her forehead. She pats
- 29:54at the rivulets of blood with the tips of her fingers, then,
- 29:57as if tasting a salad dressing, licks them clean. Somewhere
- 30:05in the distance, phone rings. Bill's eyes go wide. He
- 30:09looks at me, cut to laundry mat.
- 30:12Speaker 2: What do you think I think. I think it's so
- 30:14it depends on the nature of what this is.
- 30:16Speaker 5: If this is like an alternate reality or just like
- 30:18some weird like purgatory or whatever. I think it's you know,
- 30:21the whole thing about like if you're in a coma,
- 30:23you know, you hear a voice or you pick them
- 30:26a phone and you hear like someone from the outside.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I think it's something like that.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Yeah, there's just there's this movie that kind of harks
- 30:32on that idea that came out during the COVID era,
- 30:35like twenty nineteen twenty twenty era called Come True, really
- 30:38really fun film, but it kind of has a similar vibe,
- 30:41very dreamlike kind of quality, which is, would you kind
- 30:44of explain this weird, surreal dream that this person is in.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Even though too I can't tell is our protagonist.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Are they just like totally bought in that they're in
- 30:54this sitcom?
- 30:55Speaker 2: Or are they still like, why the what the fuck
- 30:57is this? Because the only thing that they said still
- 30:59don't know what's going on.
- 31:00Speaker 5: They understand it's they get that it's a sitcom because
- 31:05they're like it's can studio laughter. They can imagine it,
- 31:07so they understand the format, but they don't know what's
- 31:09happening because he's like, how did I get here? Whise bill?
- 31:12Does this person know me? Like he's still trying to
- 31:15figure out the logistics of it. I also really like
- 31:17how when she said his name it was a bleep,
- 31:19like the censorship. It's like whatever has him in here?
- 31:22Trying to indoctrinate him to be a part of this,
- 31:24similarly to Stacey and Bill probably are where you see
- 31:27their cracks for a second, but then they go back
- 31:29to the formula.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Losing their own identity. It would be fucking horrifying.
- 31:33Speaker 3: Yeah, almost the point where there has not been the
- 31:36protagonist has not said their name once.
- 31:38Speaker 2: It's kind of fun so far.
- 31:40Speaker 5: I really like the setup where it's like because he's
- 31:43acting completely reasonable, being like, what's wrong with you? What
- 31:46are we doing? But it's in the backdrop of a sitcom,
- 31:48so it's so out of place, or like that one
- 31:50where he says like uh, he says, like what's wrong
- 31:54with your nails? And there's laughter.
- 31:56Speaker 2: He's like that's not an answer.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Quit like he's shaking it off almost to continue deliberating.
- 32:02So it's a fun setup. Like the premise A lot
- 32:05cut to laundromat. I sit on a chair reading a magazine.
- 32:08Since when do people read magazines or go to laundromats?
- 32:12Something hurts behind my eyes, presses against the corney and
- 32:15drapes itself over the front of my brain. Kathy has
- 32:18her hands on her hips, looking at me as she talks.
- 32:22She stuffs the wedding dress after wedding dress into the
- 32:24open chrome mouth of the machine. Seems endless, as if
- 32:28the chrome mouth leads to chrome got some great rusted interior,
- 32:33coiled steel intestines and whistling iron lungs, and a throat
- 32:37that continues forever endeavor, iron lung, ironlun reference.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Well, I don't know what to say.
- 32:46Speaker 3: What if you like her, you should just ask her
- 32:49out the old fashioned way.
- 32:52Speaker 5: She keeps putting wedding dresses in, and with each new
- 32:55dress they become progressively more and more soiled, covered in
- 32:58dirt and blood and yellow stain I can't identify. And
- 33:01they just keep coming, they keep coming, there's no end
- 33:04to them. Like some perverse marital magician. She just keeps
- 33:08pulling these wedding dresses out of a small plastic laundry box.
- 33:12And now they're ripped, just a bundle of bloodstained threads,
- 33:14a handful of dust. I have expect her to pull
- 33:17a rabbit out of the open mouth of another machine,
- 33:20some half dead gray thing, drowned and stomach filled with
- 33:23the SuDS and cheap detergent. I imagine her smooth and
- 33:26it's wet, matted fur patting at the clumps of bubbles,
- 33:29the color of an oil slick that sweet. I don't
- 33:32know who you're talking about. I don't know how I
- 33:34got here. My head hurts, I can taste blood. I
- 33:38think I'm going to be sick.
- 33:42Speaker 3: I think I'm going to be sick. If you keep
- 33:44running away from your problems. She seems perfect made for you.
- 33:49Speaker 5: I don't think I know you. I don't think I
- 33:52know anyone.
- 33:53Speaker 4: I think my.
- 33:54Speaker 1: Skin's too thin, and it's stretched over the wrong bones.
- 33:56Speaker 2: And she looks at me.
- 33:59Speaker 5: Something passes over her face, puts it in shadow for
- 34:02a moment, like the reflection of clouds moving across the
- 34:05surface of a lake.
- 34:07Speaker 2: It's always been like this always.
- 34:19Speaker 5: I hit them with the applause effect again. Oh good,
- 34:23I think that this is stellar so far. I really
- 34:28like the thing. I think my skin's too thin, and
- 34:30I think it's stretched over my bones. And then she's like,
- 34:33it's always.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Been like this.
- 34:34Speaker 5: And then it's like it's like the studio, which is
- 34:37representative of the force that has them trapped there, goes
- 34:39wild like it's like they're still treating it like it's
- 34:42a part of the sitcomer. It's some big like revelatory
- 34:45moment or joke.
- 34:45Speaker 2: It's almost what the crowd goes.
- 34:47Speaker 5: While it's almost described like that near the end of
- 34:49sitcom seasons, where like the two characters finally kiss or
- 34:51something and you hear everyone cheer and applause. It's kind
- 34:56of like that, but it's like the stand in is
- 35:01one character recognizing to another that they're trapped there, that
- 35:05this is just how things are. That's pretty cool. Cut
- 35:09to cuts a living room. My head hurts, spins a little.
- 35:14I'm set on a couch and I reached down, grip
- 35:16the edge of the cushion with both my hands and
- 35:18hold on tight, as.
- 35:20Speaker 1: If at any moment it might throw me off, as
- 35:22if it's the only connection I have to the real world.
- 35:25Speaker 5: Faux leather bowl. Imagine a large brass ring around the
- 35:29bridge of my nose.
- 35:30Speaker 3: That's the thing about men, really, they want a certain
- 35:33version of you, and on a date, you get to
- 35:36choose which version that is.
- 35:37Speaker 2: So you go get it girl, just to kill. That's
- 35:41when I see it.
- 35:42Speaker 5: There in the bathroom, a woman visible from the living
- 35:47room through an open door, slumped against the wall. Limbsplayed
- 35:52her next red in the wall behind her is covered
- 35:54in thin arcs of blood well against splatters that make
- 35:57a pattern behind her, her throats and slit. One of
- 36:01her hands is missing a finger. Her blood's running over
- 36:04the floor, in the space between the white, perfectly square tiles.
- 36:09My stomach turns. Her eyes are so empty, so glassy
- 36:13and vacant. I can almost see the struggle, the brutality
- 36:17of her last moments, the short, nasty violence that ended
- 36:21her life.
- 36:22Speaker 2: And that's what I said.
- 36:23Speaker 3: If you're gonna go wear this season's Prada, then you
- 36:26might as well wear then.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Uh fuck fuck. And that's what I said.
- 36:33Speaker 3: If you're not gonna wear the season's Prada, then you
- 36:35might as well wear nada.
- 36:41Speaker 5: There's a dead body in the bathroom.
- 36:44Speaker 1: That's such a good that is such a good turn
- 36:51a beat for this story. You might as well wear naa.
- 36:55There is a dead body in the bathroom.
- 36:58Speaker 2: There's a dead body. Here's the bathroom I've got.
- 37:02Speaker 5: I'm on baby duty now, So if you hear the
- 37:04baby scream or freak out or whatnot, it's just it's
- 37:07part of the plan.
- 37:08Speaker 3: So I love you, Oh God, PDA, dude, keep it
- 37:13out of the fucking stream.
- 37:15Speaker 5: Man. Everyone's saying, baby Tanka Yeah, it's so great, isn't
- 37:20that right? Tnka? I love that name.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Wait? Is the baby on stream?
- 37:25Speaker 5: No, no, no, we don't. I'm not gonna put her
- 37:27on stream. But she's off. She's in a bassinette over here,
- 37:30to the side. She's witnessed to the stream. There it goes.
- 37:36There goes the baby crying.
- 37:38Speaker 2: I hear the baby doing.
- 37:39Speaker 3: Can I do an impression of your baby?
- 37:42Speaker 2: Go ahead, so talk to me as if you're I'm
- 37:46your baby.
- 37:48Speaker 5: Hi? Baby?
- 37:50Speaker 2: Is that you say to your daughter?
- 37:53Speaker 4: Oh?
- 37:53Speaker 9: Sweetie? Hello?
- 38:08Speaker 5: Awful, keep it going.
- 38:09Speaker 3: Give me another one, dude, get another one?
- 38:14Speaker 8: Hello?
- 38:15Speaker 5: How are you just clipping out on the microphone?
- 38:30Speaker 2: Do you like that?
- 38:31Speaker 5: So? I can't wait for you to get canceled over
- 38:35something that just got I've got books of infod of
- 38:39Destroyed to just bring up. I can't wait for I
- 38:45can't wait for the expos a video in a year
- 38:47where it's like he would go on podcasts in the
- 38:50Patreon server.
- 38:51Speaker 2: You would pretend to be his co host newborn Shi
- 38:55he was ship there.
- 38:56Speaker 5: And you would pretend to be a baby, and everyone
- 38:59in the chat would be ga mom with sexual euphemisms. Yeah, yeah,
- 39:08one day, one day I'll it'll happen. Okay, there's a
- 39:13dead body in the bathroom. Her skin is pallid drained,
- 39:17and it's taken on a waxy quality, a muted sheen.
- 39:27It's just your line, no rush, I'm out of lots
- 39:32of these.
- 39:33Speaker 1: It shows he's still in the discord.
- 39:34Speaker 5: Oh maybe he had to mute his mic or something.
- 39:42Speaker 2: I get with it. Danny's hard work for women. You
- 39:45think I shop all the time just to look good
- 39:47for me.
- 39:49Speaker 5: I think someone's been murdered in their bodies in the
- 39:51bathroom and it's covered in blood.
- 39:53Speaker 3: Ah, hey is dating isn't easy for guys either.
- 40:00Speaker 2: There are three things I need to make a date
- 40:02worth it. Food, beer, pan, more beer.
- 40:07Speaker 5: You are so. I can see through the open door
- 40:13to the bedroom, a room lit by a dim red light,
- 40:16and there I can see a shadow moving, shifting. It
- 40:20seems to grow small and sways as if dancing, As
- 40:23if I think someone is in that room and they're
- 40:27moving their body to a rhythm. We cannot hear their
- 40:30skins shifting and riding up their leg like a dress,
- 40:32and their mouth half open. Blood begins to pool around
- 40:36the body's legs. I can see that the incision on
- 40:39her throat was wild, sloppy. From the bedroom, there's the
- 40:43sound of a muffled moan. I don't think we're alone.
- 40:49I think whoever murdered that girl is still here and
- 40:52I want them to leave. I want them to leave.
- 40:53I want them to leave. Uh So, I really this
- 41:08story is actually really well paced. I like how the
- 41:10scenes go on and there's like a presence here and
- 41:12now there's like this woman Lyne dead over there.
- 41:16Speaker 2: I really think this is awesome.
- 41:17Speaker 5: It's a shame the story is, you know, getting hindered
- 41:20with you know, me being pregnant and you.
- 41:26Speaker 3: Really rough and I'll legitimately that I have fucked up
- 41:29the story.
- 41:29Speaker 2: I'm sorry, it is actually good. I'm not gonna stop.
- 41:34Speaker 5: Well, I don't think you should stop, per se. I
- 41:36just more so want to outline that it's your fault.
- 41:40Speaker 3: It is, I think leimate legitimately, I agree I fucked
- 41:44it up.
- 41:45Speaker 5: Well, no, I said, I think that this show because
- 41:47if someone really wants to read the story directly, they
- 41:49can go read it. That's what we point them there.
- 41:51I think a lot of the appeal to this show
- 41:53is that we are going to ruin the story sometimes
- 41:56and they're going to be for absurdest reasons. So I
- 42:01think that that's fine. I mean, I'm just sitting here
- 42:04pulling concrete out of my hand.
- 42:06Speaker 2: So have you showed your have you showed them your You.
- 42:10Speaker 5: Guys haven't seen that Episode's updated's looking better. I wrecked
- 42:15my dirt bike and uh absolutely skinned my hands open
- 42:19like this hand was just like you could see the
- 42:21muscle striations and there's blood everywhere. And then a couple
- 42:25of the last podcast recordings, I've had these really thick
- 42:28dogs on them, so funny. Yeah, I have the video.
- 42:31So I have the video on the security camp of
- 42:33the house on record. Hunter loved video.
- 42:49Speaker 3: You guys are getting redy. You're getting ready to get
- 42:50a lot of Isaiah media. You haven't even seen his
- 42:53dentist photos yet. Wait, wait till you see his dentist photos.
- 42:57My god, you'll see this. You'll see this this Sunday.
- 42:59I'm not even joking. It's it is unbelievable, unreal. Yeah,
- 43:07I actually I have that photo right here. Do you
- 43:11want to give him a sneak? You could give a knee.
- 43:13I would love to see it again. It's it's unreal.
- 43:16First off, I just want to say, this is a
- 43:18dentist photo. It might be one of the most sexual
- 43:20photos I've ever seen in my life.
- 43:22Speaker 2: First off, look how tiny it is. Look look up extremely.
- 43:29Speaker 4: God, look at.
- 43:38Speaker 3: Looks like a donkey gout botox. It is unreal. Wow,
- 43:43it's it's it is criminal that they did this to you. Also,
- 43:47did they take this photo in a closet? Where the
- 43:49fun they take this photo.
- 43:52Speaker 2: You're going to be stealing this is your dentist. You're
- 43:55going to be still awaiting these photos for research purposes.
- 44:02Speaker 3: It looks like it looks like a Sabrina Carpenter album cover.
- 44:05Speaker 5: One.
- 44:08Speaker 2: I meant that bitch, but.
- 44:11Speaker 5: For the first time he was all.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 44:16Speaker 3: Legitimately, in the episode, you'll see you'll hear how genuine
- 44:20my reaction is. It is unbelievable. We'll also just to
- 44:23sue it out to its normal size, Isaiah, don't don't.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Someone said, and we put it on a T shirt.
- 44:30Speaker 5: I wanted to be the thumbnail. I wanted to be
- 44:33thembnail with that in the center. Uh, that's its original size.
- 44:41Speaker 2: There's a lot of stuff going on with this. There's
- 44:42a lot of stuff going on with this. Uh.
- 44:45Speaker 5: I think I lost connection for a second. I should
- 44:48be back now. Yeah, I think I'm backing back.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Is it out?
- 44:52Speaker 5: We're back?
- 44:52Speaker 2: Now?
- 44:53Speaker 5: What were you saying? There's a lot of stuff going
- 44:54on with what.
- 44:55Speaker 2: Sure, I don't see it. I don't see it on alive.
- 44:58Speaker 5: Well give it a suck. People are saying the lips
- 45:02are so powerful and crash the stream.
- 45:04Speaker 3: There is there is one thing about this photo and
- 45:07we should get back to the story.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Is the Uh what I don't understand about you? How
- 45:13many teeth are in the human mouth? Is it? Is
- 45:15it twenty twenty eight.
- 45:19Speaker 4: Two?
- 45:19Speaker 3: I think all people are immediately making it their profile
- 45:22pictures like five. I just want to say, I just
- 45:35want to say, there are supposed to be thirty two
- 45:37teeth in a mouth.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Zoom in on this.
- 45:40Speaker 3: There is like your I don't know why, but your teeth.
- 45:44It just doesn't feel like you have enough teeth in
- 45:46your mouth. It seems like they just cover far too
- 45:49much rooms. It looks it seems like it seems like
- 45:53in Isaiah's mouth there might be twelve, twelve to sixteen
- 45:56teeth instead of the normal thirty two.
- 46:00Speaker 2: At this site and strage It's photo. This just unbelievable.
- 46:11It is unbelievable to give this send me, send me
- 46:16that photo really quick.
- 46:17Speaker 5: I have to do in your server.
- 46:23Speaker 3: I have to do something because this is actually gonna
- 46:26blow your fucking mind.
- 46:27Speaker 2: One second.
- 46:28Speaker 5: It's in the It's it's like three messages back.
- 46:34Speaker 7: This is gonna.
- 46:36Speaker 3: You have I'm gonna send you something back, and I
- 46:38want you to be sure and show this.
- 46:42Speaker 5: The The context for everyone is I got a new
- 46:44dentis lately, and the new nist was like, okay, we
- 46:47just need your records from the old dentists. So the
- 46:49old dentist sends the records, and the records quote unquote
- 46:53was a word document that had every like X ray
- 46:57and every dental picture I had on one page, Like
- 47:03they had just copy pasted all of the pictures onto
- 47:06one page, so all of them were like super small.
- 47:09And the new justice was like, yeah, we can't use these.
- 47:11But in the midst of all of the X rays
- 47:13and the dead center of the page was just this
- 47:16photograph that I guess they just held the camera up
- 47:20to my face and took a flash shot.
- 47:23Speaker 8: I guess, second, look at this.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Okay, I don't see anything yet, give me.
- 47:36Speaker 2: This is very quick.
- 47:37Speaker 5: I'd want to I want to do another pass.
- 47:42Speaker 2: We shouldn't ironically make this a photo.
- 47:45Speaker 5: Look at those Okay, what are you sitting this? You're
- 47:52cracking up, you're trying. I wish I took more time.
- 47:59Speaker 8: I need more.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I need more, like you're dying, just a little more time.
- 48:08You said your discord. There you go. I need I
- 48:15need more time. I was like wondering, this is exactly
- 48:29what was like outside of the.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Fut What did you say?
- 48:47Speaker 2: Oh my god, what did you say? This exactly what?
- 48:51This is exactly what?
- 48:52Speaker 3: Because I was like, I would kill to have the
- 48:55rest of his face to see what what your face
- 48:59looked like during.
- 49:02Speaker 5: Uh?
- 49:05Speaker 2: God?
- 49:08Speaker 3: Should someone needs to put this on a on his
- 49:11shirt with a dog?
- 49:12Speaker 2: This is just smile dog is all this? Let me
- 49:15look up a German shepherd. Let me get something. I'm
- 49:25doing the Lord's work right now? Holy hell?
- 49:30Speaker 8: Can we do?
- 49:31Speaker 5: Can we can we do? First?
- 49:33Speaker 2: That's just this on why I don't say why not?
- 49:43Speaker 8: Man?
- 49:44Speaker 5: You know what, man, dude, this is what.
- 49:46Speaker 2: You need to tell people to chat. This is what
- 49:48you gotta tell people.
- 49:49Speaker 3: He'll be like, You'll say people people will be like,
- 49:53what makes creepy pastas?
- 49:54Speaker 8: Aren't scary.
- 49:55Speaker 2: You're like, oh, yeah, look at look at this the
- 49:58show and then just show him this.
- 50:02Speaker 5: Oh okay, are we.
- 50:15Speaker 2: It's my talk.
- 50:28Speaker 5: God, spread the word, because spread the word.
- 50:36Speaker 2: And then there's another one.
- 50:37Speaker 5: That's photo negative, that's like the hidden picture.
- 50:39Speaker 2: I find.
- 50:41Speaker 5: It edits sor Okay, all right, should we go back
- 50:45to the sitcom story? Now said someone said, this is
- 50:51my perssona just a German shepherd, super realistic cute lists.
- 51:02I got one more, one more? Okay, all right, all right,
- 51:05chat's not getting bored, so we can edit this down
- 51:07in the final cut.
- 51:09Speaker 2: This won't be in the this is.
- 51:10Speaker 5: The this is the this is words. Yeah, this is
- 51:14the good ship here, this is.
- 51:17Speaker 7: Anytime anytime we record with the stream chat, it just
- 51:25becomes their show, which is fine for them, but like
- 51:30the final recording is not gonna be decipherable.
- 51:36Speaker 8: Oh you gotta make this your you gotta make this
- 51:40your profile picture on Twitter or on Instagram.
- 51:46Speaker 5: The number a bunch of people have now changed their
- 51:49picture to the what the drawing of me with the lists? Okay,
- 51:55this is this is Hutter's newest orchard park. I like
- 52:05taking an actual image of me and then being like, no,
- 52:08this is what he looks like. It's my lips blown
- 52:11up like a thousand times.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Oh barely barely blown up.
- 52:16Speaker 5: Okay, all right, my lips are pretty big in that picture.
- 52:21Will admit.
- 52:22Speaker 3: I love the idea that you're they're like, all right,
- 52:24just a relax, this is what you do with your.
- 52:29Speaker 2: All right, just kind of give us a little smile.
- 52:31I like how you're titled.
- 52:34Speaker 5: I like how you titled it. His lips not that
- 52:41sounds that sounds like the name of a creepy pasta.
- 52:45Speaker 2: That is legitimately a creepy pasta name.
- 52:48Speaker 1: His lips don j back is such a.
- 52:56Speaker 2: God?
- 52:58Speaker 4: Is that?
- 52:58Speaker 5: Here we go?
- 53:02Speaker 2: His lips on jpeg is so good? God damn.
- 53:07Speaker 5: Okay, all right, go look at Twitter now he's up there.
- 53:15Just go look at my cow.
- 53:17Speaker 2: Let me see it looks it looks so good. That's
- 53:27such a good profile picture. Here you go. Yeah, that's
- 53:31the good stuff.
- 53:34Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, all right, yeah, I'm back to the story.
- 53:39Back to the store, cut to hallway. Mark pushes past
- 53:44me towards the door. He has a coat on im.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Sorry, hey, hey, sorry, didn't see you there.
- 53:54Speaker 5: He looks out of the window.
- 53:55Speaker 2: It's starting to rain. Where are you going nowhere?
- 53:59Speaker 5: Important shifts on its feet, looks side to side.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Don't worry about it.
- 54:04Speaker 5: Catch a car. I'm driving a small car, a car
- 54:08that I recognize is mine. The wheel is cool in
- 54:11my hands, and as the car banks left, someone in
- 54:13the passenger seat falls against me. The radio plays soft, calm.
- 54:19News reader's voice washes over me slowly. I tune into
- 54:23the individual words. I reach to turn it up.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Thank you for.
- 54:27Speaker 10: Joining us this evening. Reports of an arson attack are
- 54:29reaching us, and despite the heavy rain, the whole family
- 54:32was burnt to a crisp. I wouldn't say they you'd
- 54:35seen members of the household trying to unlocked upstairs windows,
- 54:37but den a meal.
- 54:39Speaker 5: Stacy, asleep in the passenger seat, shifts so that she's
- 54:43now leaning against the window. The rain licks at the
- 54:46glass behind her head. Windscreen wipers scrape a dole rhythm.
- 54:50In front of me. There's a spade resting between her legs.
- 54:54She wakes up, her eyes pinned open, leans forward, and
- 54:58wretches into the Footwell, what what what now?
- 55:06Speaker 2: You cannot show this one though?
- 55:08Speaker 5: Okay, m she's just sitting here doing this instead of
- 55:14instead of participating in the story.
- 55:22Speaker 2: This is this is this is actually the last one.
- 55:25Speaker 8: Okay, that's a sick freak.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Can I describe it? I can describe it, right, It's
- 55:42it's the it's the picture. It's the picture form Nicko
- 55:54Kano Avocado's only fans of his buttle, but he changed
- 55:58its fireplace.
- 56:04Speaker 8: You just say, that's it.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Cut off.
- 56:19Speaker 5: My teeth, just baired.
- 56:22Speaker 2: You will show them, and they paid for the patrion
- 56:25as well, show them.
- 56:26Speaker 5: I don't think it's covered. There's nothing bad that's showing
- 56:30someone's you know, wouldn't be hypothetically get in trouble for that.
- 56:37Speaker 2: Maybe it's yeah, I mean there's nothing actually, okay, I'll
- 56:42show I'll show it here in the stream.
- 56:44Speaker 5: Well now because you can kind of see now, let's
- 56:46not you.
- 56:47Speaker 2: You can see some detail on the edges.
- 56:51Speaker 5: The teeth aren't thick enough. So we'll say no to
- 56:55that one.
- 56:56Speaker 2: Yeah, probably imagine, Yeah you can imagine.
- 57:01Speaker 5: Okay, all right, can you read your line now?
- 57:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you've made my daughter cry.
- 57:12Speaker 4: Petrol.
- 57:13Speaker 10: Petrol burns even when it rains and the flies catches
- 57:15like kindling.
- 57:17Speaker 2: They're coming. We had a deal. They're coming for us,
- 57:22and oh God, when they find us, of God.
- 57:25Speaker 5: She checks the rear view mirror. It's true. I can
- 57:28see a long road behind us, empty except for a
- 57:31pair of headlights that are slowly gaining on us.
- 57:33Speaker 2: And I, for one can't wait. We can't run forever.
- 57:37Speaker 3: Oh my god, do you have any idea what they'll
- 57:40do when they catch us?
- 57:42Speaker 2: Skin's only so thick. It's only so thick.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Skin.
- 57:49Speaker 5: There's that mention of skin again, about being tight. The
- 57:54headlights are getting closer, the beams illuminating the Can.
- 57:57Speaker 2: You just lock in for five?
- 58:00Speaker 3: You can't fuck it, just have your fall beat. There's
- 58:02the thing about the skin being tied.
- 58:04Speaker 5: Yeah, because earlier he said that it feels like my
- 58:07skin's thinned, like he's getting stretched. And there she said,
- 58:09Skin's only so thick, It's only so thick, right, So yes,
- 58:14I can do that. The headlights are getting closer, the
- 58:17beams illuminating, the drops of rain like motes of dust
- 58:20in the sun. I can almost make out a figure
- 58:22behind the wheel. It looks half familiar.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Slip out us, like an old wedding dress stuffed in
- 58:28the attic. Slit wide open.
- 58:30Speaker 5: Okay, Stacy starts to cry. Then, as I try and
- 58:35fail to read what the sign would just pass reads.
- 58:38I hear it, a shrill, mechanical ringing. I checked the
- 58:42rear view mirror, and there on the back seat is
- 58:45an old fashioned black rotary phone, the receiver laid flat
- 58:49on top of the black casing, the strange numbered circle
- 58:52beneath a dial. I believe it's called the dial.
- 58:57Speaker 2: Answer it.
- 58:59Speaker 5: Stacy wretches to get into the footwell, looks at me.
- 59:02Speaker 2: Dawn cut to a hotel. Don't you remember, I shake
- 59:08my head.
- 59:08Speaker 5: I was just in the car with Stacey and there
- 59:10was someone behind us in a phone bone on the
- 59:13back seat. Remember what think about it? Don't you remember
- 59:18the lobby hums with the quiet energy. I realize that
- 59:22I've been holding my breath. It's deserted, a huge empty space,
- 59:27like some giant underground cavern, except with carpeted floors, a
- 59:31ceiling that extends up seemingly forever. I can't hear anything
- 59:36that dim, sterile hotel light, sickly pale. My mouth feels dry.
- 59:43I feel so small, like when you finally make it
- 59:46out of the city and you realize that the horizon
- 59:48stretches on so much further than you thought. It continues
- 59:52almost into infinity. That you can watch it go. There's
- 59:55paper on the table in front of me, empty like
- 59:58an invitation, crisscrossed with pale gray lines. I start walking
- 1:00:03away from the reception desk through the lobby, and my
- 1:00:06feet don't make a sound against the floor, and it
- 1:00:08seems as if this room extends forever. No windows, same
- 1:00:13strange pattern on the carpet, circles and stars and numbers
- 1:00:17peeded until my eyes hurt. I'm dwarfed, infinitely small as
- 1:00:22the lobby stretches out away from me in all directions.
- 1:00:26It's so empty, and I can't help but feel if
- 1:00:28there was someone else here, someone else treading the same pattern,
- 1:00:32it might not be so I'm trying hard to remember,
- 1:00:36but I don't know what. And I could feel my
- 1:00:38face being pulled in all sorts of strange directions, and
- 1:00:41it's only then that I realize I'm crying. My cheeks
- 1:00:44are hot with tears, and I'm breathing in short frantic burst.
- 1:00:48Somewhere behind me, an elevator chimes, doors slide open. I
- 1:00:55love the way this thing's written with You have these
- 1:00:58like otherwise mundane moment settings of the hotel, the car,
- 1:01:01stuff like that. But you get these little clues in
- 1:01:03each step, piece of some history behind, like the receptions
- 1:01:06telling him, no, you have to remember, you have to remember.
- 1:01:09And then like the mentions of skin and stuff like that,
- 1:01:12like you get these little breadcrumbs. And then here.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: He's starting to see. He's starting to see something like
- 1:01:20through this haze he's in.
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: It's almost like I said earlier, he's in a coma
- 1:01:23and he's able to look out of it, like the
- 1:01:26infinite hallway and the infinite lobby of the hotels. He's
- 1:01:28starting to realize the illusion.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a personalized hell pretty much.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, cuts an eye club bill slousches against the
- 1:01:36wall and an alley lit by red neon from behind
- 1:01:39the dirty orange of street lights. From the front, he's smoking,
- 1:01:43black eye, front tooth, missing shirts, brown with blood. I
- 1:01:47think he's waiting for someone.
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: I need to tell you something. You need to know this,
- 1:01:52it's important.
- 1:01:54Speaker 5: I raised an eyebrow.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Right when they come, you mustn't listen. They don't know
- 1:01:59all the whole story.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: Right, He wipes his face.
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: That's right, they don't know the whole story.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: He holds out the palm of his hand. In the
- 1:02:10center is a small hole raged at the edges, wet red. Slowly,
- 1:02:16he raises it to his face until I can see
- 1:02:19his eye through it. It started to rain.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: I can see you.
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: Then quiet, so quiet, I almost can't hear a stage whisper.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I wouldn't hurt myself. I can't sleep at night. I
- 1:02:34still awake, and I look at the ceiling and I
- 1:02:36dream of hurting myself. It makes me feel sick and excited.
- 1:02:41Like six.
- 1:02:43Speaker 5: Someone walks past and Bill flinches. A woman in a
- 1:02:46tight black T shirt. Can't see her face, but she
- 1:02:49seems familiar. I've seen her somewhere before. There's some sort
- 1:02:55of design on the back of her shirt, screen printed
- 1:02:57in red, a pentagram, each point of the star numbered,
- 1:03:01and the star contained within a circle of its own
- 1:03:05numbered circle. When she's gone, it's quiet again. Bill drinks
- 1:03:09from a hip flask, his hands shaking. I can hear
- 1:03:13footsteps behind me.
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: There here, okay, man.
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: It's so cool. So Bill like is also as the deluges.
- 1:03:20She's like, they don't know the whole story. He's starting
- 1:03:23for the show.
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: He's putting on a character for the show.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: And then by putting up the napkin and looking at
- 1:03:27him through the hole. It's like like breaking the fourth wall.
- 1:03:31It's like he's hiding his face so that he can
- 1:03:34speak honestly for a moment, and then when someone walks by,
- 1:03:37immediately he goes away. That's so fun. And then like
- 1:03:40the woman goes by wearing the pentagram with the numbers
- 1:03:42on it, almost like it's a spell or rituals.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Maybe this is.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: Demonic or satanic or like pagan or whatever, which would
- 1:03:49make sense with the alliteration to red from earlier like
- 1:03:51the red room at the end of the hall, and
- 1:03:53then her like the woman being bled out. Perhaps it's
- 1:03:55some kind of ritual that's being performed, right, and that's
- 1:03:58so cool. Cut a restaurant. I'm sitting opposite the girl
- 1:04:01from the coffee shop. She's so pretty, I think. She
- 1:04:06smiles again, mouthful of sugarcubes. She says. Her name is Aida.
- 1:04:11This place is so nice. I don't know where I am.
- 1:04:15I don't know how it got here. I think something
- 1:04:18very very bad is happening.
- 1:04:22Speaker 2: You do anything for me, but didn't you.
- 1:04:26Speaker 5: I don't know you. I don't know who I am
- 1:04:29or how I got here.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: Ah.
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: I look around the restaurant. It's empty. I love the
- 1:04:36sitcom audience being a part of it too, between the
- 1:04:39laughter and then like the awe when he says he doesn't
- 1:04:42know how he got here. He reminds me, you know that,
- 1:04:46you know that short film that made a lot of rounds.
- 1:04:49I think it was at cons a few years back,
- 1:04:51but the one about the girl who's trapped in the
- 1:04:53red lobster commercial. Yeah, yeah, so and like everyone was
- 1:04:59super high because out for a while. It kind of
- 1:05:00reminds me of that where each time the commercial goes by,
- 1:05:03she's like asking more questions. And I think it's one
- 1:05:05of the other guys in the commercials like don't speak,
- 1:05:07don't notice it, and then there's like an entity that's
- 1:05:09controlling the whole thing. It reminds me of that a lot. Man.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: This is just like the descriptions here.
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: Translates so well visually. I look around the restaurant. It's empty,
- 1:05:20We're alone. The other tables are set, cutlery plates, napkins,
- 1:05:26folded wine glasses catching the light. But it's just us.
- 1:05:30I think maybe if I strain, I can hear the
- 1:05:33quiet murmur of conversation, like the hum of a fridge
- 1:05:37in the background. It only surfaces if I really think
- 1:05:40about it. If I really concentrate.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: I know Io, I know who you are and how
- 1:05:46you got here.
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: I take another look around the restaurant, praying that someone
- 1:05:51else will walk in, a waitress or waiter, holding a
- 1:05:55menu or a bottle of wine. And it's just us.
- 1:05:59Circular tables, evenly spaced around us in every direction, the
- 1:06:02same tablecloth on each one, the same chairs stretching. I
- 1:06:07realize now, as far as the eye can see, I
- 1:06:11cannot see where the tables end. And for a moment,
- 1:06:15I have a feeling like vertigo, like I'm standing at
- 1:06:18the edge of something vast and dangerous. The pine forest
- 1:06:22that stretches itself over the horizon, a swollen sea that
- 1:06:25laps hungrily at the boat, promise, potential, something out there
- 1:06:31moving in the spaces you cannot see. It's overwhelming. My
- 1:06:37head spins. A pattern on the floor looks familiar. I think.
- 1:06:43The tables go on and on, and so the eye
- 1:06:46cannot distinguish between them anymore, and they're just a blur
- 1:06:50pattern of their own and printed on the edge of
- 1:06:52my vision. I picture myself, for a moment, wandering between
- 1:06:57these tables for an eternity, searching for someone, anyone. I
- 1:07:03don't know what could be more terrifying realization I am
- 1:07:07alone or the realization that I am not quiet cough.
- 1:07:13I turned back to Ida. She's holding a black rotary phone,
- 1:07:17holding the base in her left hand and the receiver
- 1:07:19in her right. She extends her right hand towards me,
- 1:07:22so that's in front of my face. She smiles, gritted paper.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: It's for you. I feel applause to your silence dead
- 1:07:35air static.
- 1:07:38Speaker 5: Pause that effect, Oh there you are, and then silence
- 1:07:41dead air static. Wow, that was cool. I really enjoyed
- 1:07:47that one.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: Hmmm, what a weird way. Do you think by answering it,
- 1:07:53do you think it seals their fate? Or do you
- 1:07:54think that you have to connect? Like I'm wondering what
- 1:07:57do you think is on the phone?
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: So to me, this sounds like the way the receptionist
- 1:08:03was saying, you have to remember hold on these.
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: She said, don't you remember? Remember what?
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: And she says, don't you remember? And then the lobby
- 1:08:11homes with energy. It's it's sort of quiet, but all
- 1:08:14the things we see around because he doesn't remember how
- 1:08:18he got here, but all the things we see around
- 1:08:20it are very brutal, right, like the red rooms, the
- 1:08:26woman bleeding. It's not just like a coma dream. It's
- 1:08:29like there's some entity here with them and the woman
- 1:08:32in the pentagram with the numbers on it. So typically
- 1:08:35when you number a pentagram, it's like the order to
- 1:08:36draw it right, like where the stuff goes, like a
- 1:08:39ritualistic pinogram. So perhaps he did a ritual or perhaps
- 1:08:43he tried to invoke something for some reason. So it's like,
- 1:08:49maybe he performed a ritual to get something and then
- 1:08:53got more than he bargained for, and instead of this
- 1:08:55creature given him what he wants, or like this demon
- 1:08:57or whatever given him what it wants, it's kind of
- 1:08:59tracked him in this purgatory or this Like.
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I like the idea of it being, uh, that
- 1:09:04we are seeing the aftermath of the repercussion of something
- 1:09:07that we don't know, you know, some kind of bargain
- 1:09:10I think is interesting. It was good man, I do think, uh,
- 1:09:14it was a fun one. I think uh. I like
- 1:09:17I like Maxi's stuff a lot.
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: Yeah, this guy, like over here, this guy does a
- 1:09:26great job of like taking in the other two stories
- 1:09:31we read, of taking these.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Concepts that seem kind of.
- 1:09:36Speaker 5: Basic on surface level, like creepy kids and h you know,
- 1:09:39creepy mansion or like traps. Also just rituals or so
- 1:09:43much with them. Rituals are rituals.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: All that kind of stuff, unknown kind of rituals. And
- 1:09:50I like that he just drops you in the center
- 1:09:51of it, and it's just like, this is just what
- 1:09:53it is.
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: You know, have fun. I think it's cool.
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: But and if you think the idea of a couple
- 1:10:31of horror podcasters being terrified in front of their audience
- 1:10:34is something cool, then boy do I have the movie
- 1:10:36for you, because I'm very proud to announced that this
- 1:10:39video is sponsored by A twenty four's Undertone. Undertone follows Evi,
- 1:10:43played by Adena Kiri, as she tries to continue her
- 1:10:46horror podcast called Undertone after moving back to her very
- 1:10:50religious mother's home to take care of her in her
- 1:10:52final days. But then she begins to realize that the
- 1:10:55things she's covering in the podcast begin to match the
- 1:10:58things that are happening in the house. Personally, I was
- 1:11:00blown away with how effective some of the scares were,
- 1:11:03how inventive they are with the setting. The movie advertises
- 1:11:06itself as the scariest movie You'll ever hear and I
- 1:11:09see why so many cool things were done, from the
- 1:11:11sound design to backmasking lyrics to some pretty phenomenal voice acting.
- 1:11:16Not a lot scares me nowadays, but there were a
- 1:11:18few moments in this that certainly got to me, especially
- 1:11:20when the movie started to incorporate real names of demons
- 1:11:23and satanic figures in history, which you know how I
- 1:11:26feel about that. Undertone hits theaters March thirteenth, so if
- 1:11:29you're looking to have a good time and a terrible
- 1:11:31night's sleep, and I highly recommend you check it out.
- 1:11:34Thank you to A twenty four for sponsoring the show.
- 1:11:36Hopefully you guys check out Undertone while it's in theaters.
- 1:11:39And we are now back to the episode. I think
- 1:11:50I really like so going off that implication, I think
- 1:11:53the person on the other end of the phone is
- 1:11:55either someone who is still who wasn't taken to this
- 1:11:57place like everyone else was. I also like the idea
- 1:12:02that everyone else who is in here had the same fate,
- 1:12:05right like maybe they similar you know, it actually reminds
- 1:12:09me of Hell Raiser. Like in hell Raiser, they all
- 1:12:11get the box and they perform the spell to bring
- 1:12:14the cinebyites and then they're all in that dimension with
- 1:12:16the cinebites and can interact with each other there even
- 1:12:19though they're from different times. So maybe like Bill's been
- 1:12:21here for a long time, he was I'm occultist or
- 1:12:23something like that, and he's like real gung ho type
- 1:12:28of guy until he speaks truthfully for a moment, he's like,
- 1:12:30I want to hurt myself. I can't sleep at night.
- 1:12:32I stay awake, I look at the ceiling and I
- 1:12:33dream of hurting myself. Makes me feel Oh, actually, you
- 1:12:39know what what this could be people here who have
- 1:12:47hurt themselves, like feed the pig. Yeah, could be that
- 1:12:56those who take their own life end up here. Because
- 1:12:57you also have the woman who had the blood and
- 1:13:00dirt in her fingernails, right, which that could just be digging,
- 1:13:05or that could have been she was doing a ritual
- 1:13:08or she did something to hurt herself. And you have
- 1:13:09the woman in the bathroom who's bled out with her
- 1:13:12broat cut open, right, maybe that's what he can't remember.
- 1:13:15And then you have these people speak honestly of themselves
- 1:13:18for a second. And then what was that line she
- 1:13:21said in the car where she says, you have the
- 1:13:25person on the radio talking about a family that's burning
- 1:13:28up in a house, which felt very reminiscent of Silent
- 1:13:31Hills in the PG demo where you're walking through and
- 1:13:34you hear the guy on the radio talking about a
- 1:13:35family annihilator. Do you have any idea when.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: They catch us?
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: The skin's only so sick, it's only so sick. It's
- 1:13:42almost like they're running out. Maybe that's what was implied
- 1:13:45by the dirt and the blood underneath the fingernails, that
- 1:13:48they're to tear rating as they go through this, and
- 1:13:51they're trying to run for something, they're going to be caught.
- 1:13:54The radio wants him to answer the phone, but Stacy
- 1:13:56says it's about idea for him to answer the phone.
- 1:13:59And then there at the end of the restaurant, I
- 1:14:03just says this place is so nice, and I just
- 1:14:06says you do anything for me, wouldn't you, And he
- 1:14:08says I don't know you, And then Ida says I
- 1:14:11know you. I know who you are and how you
- 1:14:14got here. My head spins, and then at the end
- 1:14:18she hands okay. So the people in the car Bill
- 1:14:21and Stacy didn't want him to answer the phone, but
- 1:14:23this Ida character, and also the voice on the radio
- 1:14:27wants him to answer the phone, so they're probably the
- 1:14:29powers at hand, So they're in the end when she says,
- 1:14:33I know how you got here, and he imagines for
- 1:14:35a second infinitely wondering through this restaurant, and then she
- 1:14:39hands him the phone and says it's for you. I
- 1:14:42think she's probably one of the spirits. It's a part
- 1:14:44of this or the thing that was.
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: His target originally.
- 1:14:47Speaker 5: Maybe ida's his dad wife, or maybe it's something he
- 1:14:50lost on or like some love he wanted to use
- 1:14:53a sacrifice or a spell to get to. So now
- 1:14:56even though he doesn't remember her, this is the object
- 1:14:58of his affection. That would also make since because she's
- 1:15:00the only one in the story described as beautiful back
- 1:15:02in the coffee shop, right, so it's like she's being
- 1:15:06subtly planted there for him to see. And then at
- 1:15:10the end when she says it's for you. Perhaps this
- 1:15:12is either him facing the repercussions of what he's done
- 1:15:15or going to the afterlife, because the alternative to answering
- 1:15:18the phone is the vision he saw of infinitely walking
- 1:15:20through the restaurant. Whatever's on the other end of the phone,
- 1:15:22it can't be worse than that. So yeah, perhaps this
- 1:15:26is people that hurt themselves, or perhaps this is people
- 1:15:30that have committed a ritual or both and now they're
- 1:15:33stuck here and now they have to play the part
- 1:15:36until they move on. And I think a lot of
- 1:15:37people can't move on like Bill, like Stacy and stuff
- 1:15:40like that, but Ida is giving him the option to do. So.
- 1:15:43That is so much lore packed into like a fun format,
- 1:15:48short little horror story like this.
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: I love that. That's what we'd liked about Max's other story.
- 1:15:52Speaker 3: So too is the way that you're able to run
- 1:15:53wild kind of with ideas and thoughts just based.
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: Off and rag King was a great which is a
- 1:15:58story going up this weekend, guys. Rat King was an
- 1:16:01excellent example of that, where like, there's so many theories
- 1:16:04you could come up with off of like a twenty
- 1:16:06minute little story because he does such great job as
- 1:16:08sprinkling in the world building. The dialogue was great too,
- 1:16:11like the little moments of.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: Break yeah, when I when we weren't, when we were
- 1:16:14joking and stuff in between all this stuff. This is
- 1:16:17one that I would recommend that like read it without
- 1:16:20two obnoxious hosts, just like giggling and shooting their pants.
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: The entire time. Uh, I think it'd be.
- 1:16:28Speaker 5: Stuff Cooinage. I would love to see some support for
- 1:16:32so he he posted a ton of stories and then
- 1:16:35six years ago he posted like a compilation or like
- 1:16:39a a master post of a bunch of the stories
- 1:16:42he has to read. Uh and we read three so
- 1:16:44far and they've all been phenomenal. But I would like
- 1:16:47to see him come back. I'd like to see this
- 1:16:49guy write more stuff.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:51Speaker 5: Oh, oh, there's activity on the board now. Oh, this
- 1:16:55isn't sorry, this isn't r slash max voyage not. Yeah,
- 1:16:57he has his own subreddit, not the user max one,
- 1:17:00and it Sh'S right by bed. Yeah, the user max
- 1:17:02voyage hasn't posted in six years. I don't believe. So
- 1:17:06I would like to see him come back because he's
- 1:17:09a great writer. But yeah, that was the story. That
- 1:17:11was pretty cool.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, sick man.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: Well, I think this is where we're in our live today. Sorry,
- 1:17:16we didn't schedule this if also too once this live goes,
- 1:17:20Once this live is done, it'll take a second for
- 1:17:23it to process on Patreon. That's why it's just not
- 1:17:25immediately live after we're done. But I'm sure, I'm sure
- 1:17:29we'll post this one live and just have it up
- 1:17:31for you guys to listen to, or we'll just wait
- 1:17:32for it to be edited. Nobody deal was just a
- 1:17:34little on the whim kind of live stream. So we
- 1:17:39will see you guys soon. Thank you guys so much
- 1:17:41for listening to this week's episode.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: We will catch you in the next one.
- 1:17:47Speaker 5: See you guys in the next one. I had a
- 1:17:50point to make at the end of this I can't
- 1:17:54remember what it is now, so I guess it doesn't matter.
- 1:17:56Hunter is absolutely impossible to work with, and one day,
- 1:18:00when I finally do it, he will be responsible.
