- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 0:04Speaker 1: six fortys.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Neil.
- 0:11Speaker 3: Maybe that's why your TikTok videos really didn't work out,
- 0:15Speaker 3: because you're really hot and creative and other people may
- 0:21Speaker 3: not know you're hot, but I don't know. I think
- 0:24Speaker 3: you're pretty hot. I think you're pretty hot. I think
- 0:27Speaker 3: you're pretty hard.
- 0:28Speaker 1: And now Handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen. Here's
- 0:33Speaker 1: Bill Handle, and.
- 0:40Speaker 2: It is KFI. It's Wednesday. It's a home day.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Handle Morning Crew on November fifth, the day after the
- 0:50Speaker 3: big election which Democrats literally swept across the entire country,
- 0:57Speaker 3: and I'm going to talk more about that on at
- 1:00Speaker 3: seven o'clock. And as I'm looking to see what happened,
- 1:04Speaker 3: I think a couple of major points came out and
- 1:06Speaker 3: I'm gonna explore those a little deeper.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Coming up. One of them that it looks like.
- 1:13Speaker 3: That Trump wins or Trump people do not go beyond
- 1:19Speaker 3: Trump to vote. In other words, he is a singular
- 1:23Speaker 3: person and an outlier. It's all of his endorsements mean nothing.
- 1:28Speaker 3: What matters to MAGA people is only the president. Okay,
- 1:32Speaker 3: that's one takeaway. The other takeaway is there are literally
- 1:37Speaker 3: three ways and you need all three to determine how
- 1:41Speaker 3: a race is going to go between a Republican and
- 1:43Speaker 3: a Democrat, or, in the case of Prop fifty Democratic
- 1:48Speaker 3: leaning Prop fifty Republican meeting leaning against. Two things or
- 1:52Speaker 3: three things. One pulling straight out polling. The other one
- 1:57Speaker 3: is reading the temperature of what the electorate is now,
- 2:03Speaker 3: putting your finger in the air and seeing which way
- 2:06Speaker 3: the wind is blowing. The third is how often and
- 2:11Speaker 3: how strongly does the president say that the election is
- 2:14Speaker 3: rigged and it's a scam. And the more he pushes
- 2:18Speaker 3: that it's a scam and it's rigged, the more in
- 2:21Speaker 3: trouble the Republicans are because that's him reading the wind.
- 2:27Speaker 2: So it's so we got a lot to talk about.
- 2:29Speaker 3: So we'll be doing that a little bit later on
- 2:32Speaker 3: the post election day.
- 2:33Speaker 2: All right, quick, hello to one and all. A good morning, Neil.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Good morning, Willie Wolf Esquire, Yes, sir and Kno, good morning,
- 2:42Speaker 3: good morning Bill. And by the way, in terms of Esquire,
- 2:45Speaker 3: are you are you surprised I have not been disbarred yet, Neil,
- 2:49Speaker 3: Hell's to the yes, Yes, that's true.
- 2:51Speaker 2: They're actually every Saturday.
- 2:54Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I have actually been turned into the
- 2:56Speaker 3: state bar three times and them to investigate based on
- 3:02Speaker 3: the quality of my legal advice for real and the
- 3:07Speaker 3: state bar it was hilarious, and they and they have
- 3:10Speaker 3: to open up an investigation, and they have to. When
- 3:14Speaker 3: someone complains, an investigation is opened up, and then that
- 3:18Speaker 3: person or that organization is replied to by a state bar,
- 3:22Speaker 3: by a state bar adjuster, if you will, or an
- 3:27Speaker 3: individual who deals with this and then says, we have
- 3:31Speaker 3: opened up investigation in and then the name of the
- 3:35Speaker 3: person and we will inform you.
- 3:37Speaker 2: As to what happened.
- 3:39Speaker 3: In all three cases, when the complaint read we are
- 3:45Speaker 3: complaining because of a handle's legal advice, the response was
- 3:49Speaker 3: what legal advice.
- 3:53Speaker 2: That answers?
- 3:54Speaker 4: That doesn't it there They've said that the fore.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Report has better legal advice.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Oh? Absolutely, Well, Neil, you're the producer of the Jesus Show.
- 4:05Speaker 3: How often have I pitched to give marginal spiritual advice?
- 4:13Speaker 5: I would let you get near that program, do it now?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Okay? All right? Will good morning?
- 4:22Speaker 3: No God, Yeah, it's true. Oh, it's a great story.
- 4:26Speaker 3: And then there's Amy good morning, Amy, Hi, And then
- 4:29Speaker 3: there is Ann good morning and good morning. Yeah that
- 4:33Speaker 3: you know, I don't know if I shared this story
- 4:35Speaker 3: with Todd Spitzer, who is a friend of the show
- 4:37Speaker 3: and a friend of mine. For the DA of Orange County,
- 4:40Speaker 3: was a screener. He started as a screener on Handle
- 4:43Speaker 3: on the Law. That was his foray into showbiz. Anyway,
- 4:49Speaker 3: we've been friends ever since, and when he ran for
- 4:52Speaker 3: county supervisor, he asked me to in fact introduce him
- 5:00Speaker 3: to this very conservative Republican religious group of people. And
- 5:07Speaker 3: he said, Bill, you know, I'm Jewish, but I really
- 5:10Speaker 3: downplay it, you know, I soft pedal it, So would
- 5:13Speaker 3: you please please not mention it. I looked at him
- 5:16Speaker 3: and just stared at him, and he said I shouldn't
- 5:19Speaker 3: have said that, should I? And I went, Nope, absolutely not.
- 5:23Speaker 3: So I try to know there's two parts of this story.
- 5:25Speaker 3: So I introduced him, Ladies and gentlemen, is my honor
- 5:28Speaker 3: to introduce Todd the Jew Spitzer.
- 5:31Speaker 2: So that was one thing that I did.
- 5:34Speaker 3: The other thing is, during the course there was a
- 5:37Speaker 3: cocktail party kind of thing. I ended up with three
- 5:40Speaker 3: nuns who were there arguing whether God existed or not.
- 5:43Speaker 3: My position was, there is no God to three nuns.
- 5:48Speaker 3: I wish I had recorded that conversation. Okay, the jew Spitzer.
- 5:59Speaker 6: And King Nuns cry.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, they actually argued with me. I mean, come on,
- 6:06Speaker 2: come on, guys, Yeah, please ask one of them out.
- 6:11Speaker 2: That's very funny. That's actually very full.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Listen, let's just discuss this over a drink. How about
- 6:19Speaker 4: we'll go half. How about yeah it's wine, but it's
- 6:21Speaker 4: a man of Schevitz.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Okay, we are that's very funny.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Actually, all right, guys, we have plenty to talk about today,
- 6:28Speaker 3: for sure, So let's start with handle on the news
- 6:31Speaker 3: with Amy, Neil and me lead story. Well. Prop fifty
- 6:36Speaker 3: past overwhelmingly two to one, and the the only issue
- 6:42Speaker 3: was how much was it going to pass by? How
- 6:45Speaker 3: much it was going to win by? And two to
- 6:48Speaker 3: one is was at the upper upper echelons of the predictions.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I don't know if most of the pundits said did
- 6:58Speaker 3: not think it was going to go that much or high,
- 7:01Speaker 3: So we'll dive into that. Usually I don't ask people
- 7:05Speaker 3: how they voted, but I'm going to on this one,
- 7:06Speaker 3: and please feel free to say I don't want to
- 7:09Speaker 3: tell you, Bill, and I'm not going to ask Amy
- 7:11Speaker 3: because I can't. But Neil, I'm guessing you voted no
- 7:15Speaker 3: based on the conversations we've had absolutely, okay, but cone.
- 7:21Speaker 4: But under no no point did I think that that
- 7:24Speaker 4: was going to sway?
- 7:25Speaker 3: How?
- 7:26Speaker 2: Okay?
- 7:26Speaker 3: Yeah, that's like a vote for a Democrat or Republican
- 7:30Speaker 3: any presidential in this state.
- 7:31Speaker 2: I want to know.
- 7:33Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, fair enough, Kno, how did you vote? If
- 7:37Speaker 3: you want to share, you voted no?
- 7:38Speaker 6: Wow?
- 7:39Speaker 2: Will? How did you vote? Or Will is recording something
- 7:44Speaker 2: and thought was a freeway? That's true? Well said, and
- 7:50Speaker 2: and you voted yes? Is that true? Okay? I voted,
- 7:54Speaker 2: and I voted yes.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Not only do I believe in jerry mandering, I just
- 7:59Speaker 3: like the way the maps look. They're just kind of
- 8:02Speaker 3: they look like a very complicated puzzle.
- 8:05Speaker 6: They're not so complicated.
- 8:06Speaker 2: They're all blue.
- 8:07Speaker 3: Uh well yeah, but they're were within the complication. They're
- 8:11Speaker 3: you know, one of these things, and they are all blue.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I think I don't know how many six congressional districts
- 8:15Speaker 3: in the state of California.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Forty three.
- 8:17Speaker 6: It's forty three to nine right now, so it'll be
- 8:19Speaker 6: forty nine or forty eight to four.
- 8:22Speaker 2: Yeah, and that's not enough for Democrats.
- 8:25Speaker 3: And it's not because of the overwhelming number in California
- 8:28Speaker 3: California is so blue it doesn't matter. It's replacing a
- 8:34Speaker 3: Republican Republican congress person with a Democrat because Republicans have
- 8:40Speaker 3: a razor thin majority. And that's what this is about.
- 8:43Speaker 3: On both sides. By the way, both sides are doing
- 8:46Speaker 3: exactly that. Okay, moving on, and I'll talk more about
- 8:50Speaker 3: this at seven am.
- 8:54Speaker 6: If he can make it there, mom Donnie can make
- 8:57Speaker 6: it anywhere, Okay. Democratic socialist Zorn Mandami, thirty four years old,
- 9:03Speaker 6: has been elected mayor of New York City. He beat
- 9:08Speaker 6: former Governor Andrew Cuomo. It was like fifty points something
- 9:12Speaker 6: to forty one point something, and then like seven or
- 9:15Speaker 6: eight percent for Curtis Sliwa. Mom Donnie said, last night
- 9:19Speaker 6: we are breathing in the air of a city that
- 9:21Speaker 6: has been reborn. He said he wishes Andrew Cuomo Cuomo
- 9:24Speaker 6: only the best in private life, but let tonight be
- 9:27Speaker 6: the final time I utter his name as we turn
- 9:30Speaker 6: the page on politics that abandons the many and answers
- 9:33Speaker 6: only to the few.
- 9:34Speaker 3: What do you think is going to happen when he
- 9:36Speaker 3: first when he has sworn in, and the first thing
- 9:38Speaker 3: he does is sign a declaration changing the color of
- 9:42Speaker 3: the flag of New York City to red and they
- 9:46Speaker 3: play the Internacional at his inauguration.
- 9:51Speaker 4: Do you do you remember all the hubub I wasn't alive,
- 9:55Speaker 4: but all the hubbub about Kennedy because he was a Catholic.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Oh God, yes, oh yes, I do that. The poet
- 10:02Speaker 3: was going to tell him what to do.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah. Uh. He was the first Catholic president that
- 10:08Speaker 2: we've had. Uh.
- 10:09Speaker 6: He wasn't a democratic socialist. Uh no, he was, he was,
- 10:13Speaker 6: he was.
- 10:14Speaker 3: He actually was pretty conservative as as a Democrat.
- 10:19Speaker 2: He was. He was.
- 10:20Speaker 3: Yeah, he was a Cold War warrior. He was not
- 10:24Speaker 3: big on civil rights as his brother Robert Kennedy. And
- 10:28Speaker 3: Robert Kennedy, who is the dad of the Crazy Man,
- 10:31Speaker 3: actually ran the campaign. He ran Kennedy's campaign, And let
- 10:35Speaker 3: me tell you how far it went. There was a
- 10:39Speaker 3: rally that was going to happen, uh in the basement
- 10:43Speaker 3: of a Catholic church, and they canceled the rally because
- 10:49Speaker 3: of the fact that it was in a church, in
- 10:51Speaker 3: the basement of a church, because of the backlash that
- 10:55Speaker 3: was going to happen.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Straight.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Oh man, he considered a pretty radical rightist.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well, we're a very conservative Democrat.
- 11:07Speaker 3: Those were the days when Democrats were it was Yeah,
- 11:10Speaker 3: the polarization simply didn't exist. Oh. Also, do you know
- 11:13Speaker 3: that Kennedy won by maybe one hundred thousand votes across
- 11:17Speaker 3: the country almost nothing, And most of those votes he
- 11:20Speaker 3: won by were dead people in Cook County cemetery because
- 11:23Speaker 3: Richard Bailey Daily, the mayor of Chicago, who was very
- 11:29Speaker 3: close to Kennedy's dad in the days of the bootlegging.
- 11:33Speaker 3: In any case, after Kennedy won by this hair and
- 11:37Speaker 3: you have to give Richard Nixon credit for this one.
- 11:40Speaker 3: He could have called for a recount because of the law,
- 11:43Speaker 3: and he refused to do it. He goes, I'm not
- 11:45Speaker 3: going to put the country through this. That was Richard Dickson.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Too soon to put him through something else.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's what Richard Ninston did. I mean, you
- 11:52Speaker 3: have to give him a lot of credit for that.
- 11:54Speaker 3: In any case, if you asked, especially after the assassination,
- 11:58Speaker 3: how many people voted for Kennedy. Every single person in
- 12:02Speaker 3: America voted for Kennedy, they all like, oh, yeah, I
- 12:05Speaker 3: voted for them.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, It's like you go to France. You know
- 12:08Speaker 2: how many.
- 12:08Speaker 3: People were after World War Two were in the French Resistance.
- 12:12Speaker 3: I was, I was, I was in the French resistance.
- 12:14Speaker 3: There were four people in the French resistance. Okay, that
- 12:16Speaker 3: was it. So I just wanted to share with you
- 12:20Speaker 3: how crazy it has been. So Manai Wins considers himself
- 12:24Speaker 3: a social socialist democratic socialist, and I don't think it's
- 12:30Speaker 3: going to go that far because sitting behind the desk
- 12:33Speaker 3: is a very different animal than going out and campaigning.
- 12:35Speaker 2: It really is. There's reality that hits all right.
- 12:38Speaker 4: Okay, so Democrats, as Handel's been saying, and you've heard
- 12:42Speaker 4: on the news all morning, victory as Trump blames GOP
- 12:45Speaker 4: losses on the shut down, you've got Democrat.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Craps that was not on purpose.
- 12:51Speaker 4: Yeah, people think that micrats swept statewide contests in Virginia,
- 12:56Speaker 4: New Jersey, here in California and Pennsylvania, even racking up
- 13:00Speaker 4: victories maybe in lower profile races across across the board.
- 13:05Speaker 2: There were an occasional Republican. This was a sweep.
- 13:09Speaker 4: But yeah, absolutely, to say different would be uh, dishonest.
- 13:14Speaker 4: But everybody thinks it's a repudiation of the Trump agenda,
- 13:18Speaker 4: which you can't you know, unsee. But I love the
- 13:22Speaker 4: fact that Trump said is because he's not on the ballot.
- 13:27Speaker 2: You know what, I have to tell you. There's validity
- 13:28Speaker 2: to that.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Yes, but that crazy, but that when he's but he's
- 13:34Speaker 3: right when he's on the ballot Republicans. When when he's
- 13:38Speaker 3: not on the ballot, the Democrats are win.
- 13:42Speaker 5: There is no Republican party. There's trump Ism.
- 13:44Speaker 2: That's it. That's basically true. That also is true. So
- 13:48Speaker 2: both are not exclusive or not mutually exclusive.
- 13:53Speaker 6: Amy horrific cargo plane crash happened at Muhammad Ali International
- 13:59Speaker 6: Airport in Louisville, Kentucky. A UPS cargo plane was trying
- 14:04Speaker 6: to take off on its way to Honolulu, and you
- 14:08Speaker 6: could see in video flames on the plane's left wing
- 14:12Speaker 6: and a trail of smoke, and then it tried to
- 14:14Speaker 6: get off the ground, didn't make it and crashed and
- 14:17Speaker 6: exploded into a huge fireball. And now they've just updated
- 14:20Speaker 6: it and now it's nine people were killed, three on
- 14:24Speaker 6: board because it was a cargo plane, and then another
- 14:26Speaker 6: six on the ground.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it never made it past one hundred and seventy
- 14:29Speaker 3: five feet in the air. I mean literally just lifted
- 14:34Speaker 3: off and then went right into the ground. I was
- 14:36Speaker 3: listening to an expert, aviation expert saying yesterday, the size
- 14:42Speaker 3: of that fireball was so extraordinary that he thought that
- 14:47Speaker 3: it hit a fuel depot, you know, one of those
- 14:50Speaker 3: tank areas that are under the ground. He said, that's
- 14:52Speaker 3: the only way that this could have been that big
- 14:53Speaker 3: of a fireball.
- 14:54Speaker 4: Well, if you're just lifting off, wouldn't you have full
- 14:57Speaker 4: You would, but not to that extent.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you would, you would, you'd be it'd be very full.
- 15:02Speaker 3: But again he said, notwithstanding that, all right, we do
- 15:05Speaker 3: one more and then we'll take a break.
- 15:06Speaker 4: All right, more remains, unfortunately or fortunately of Hostages and
- 15:11Speaker 4: Gaza have been turned over. I say that because the
- 15:14Speaker 4: gruesome reality is there remains. They are now in Israel.
- 15:18Speaker 4: It is said by Hamas that they recovered the body
- 15:23Speaker 4: of an Israeli soldier there in Gaza, and they handed
- 15:27Speaker 4: over the remains. Israel statement did not indicate whether the
- 15:30Speaker 4: remains were of a soldier or not.
- 15:32Speaker 2: At this point, and it's going back and forth.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Hamas returns remains in Israel, then hands Hamas back remains.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Bizarre that they keep remains.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Usually when you have opposing sides, they release the dead
- 15:46Speaker 3: to the other side for burial. I mean they are
- 15:49Speaker 3: not held as hostages the bodies of soldiers or civilians.
- 15:55Speaker 3: I mean, it's really that whole war is crazy over there,
- 15:58Speaker 3: completely nuts.
- 15:59Speaker 6: Sounds like some but he didn't do their homework on this.
- 16:04Speaker 6: A series of loopholes quietly negotiated by the insurance industry
- 16:09Speaker 6: have neutralized requirements by the state that would have resulted
- 16:15Speaker 6: in many homes being covered by traditional insurance companies. That's
- 16:19Speaker 6: according to a report by The New York Times. But
- 16:21Speaker 6: apparently the New York Times says this rule to keep
- 16:26Speaker 6: homeowners insured had all these loopholes in it, and it
- 16:30Speaker 6: allowed the insurance companies to cancel insurance policies and also
- 16:37Speaker 6: jack up rights.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Any surprise the insurance industry is that powerful. Any surprise
- 16:44Speaker 3: at all?
- 16:44Speaker 6: Well, shouldn't the insurance Commissioner of California caught these loopholes?
- 16:49Speaker 2: I think he negotiated those loopholes.
- 16:52Speaker 6: He says that he was bullied into it.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Okay, Well that doesn't mean he wasn't. That doesn't mean
- 16:57Speaker 3: he didn't negotiate them. It just means he was bullied
- 17:00Speaker 3: into them, which I don't understand because the insurance negotiator
- 17:04Speaker 3: is the one that decides what the rates are going
- 17:09Speaker 3: to be so go figure.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy came out just on Tuesday and
- 17:18Speaker 4: said that his department may have to close certain parts
- 17:20Speaker 4: of the country's airspace next week. Now this is all
- 17:24Speaker 4: because of the government shut down, of course, and we've
- 17:27Speaker 4: been seeing this escalate as more and more people working
- 17:32Speaker 4: for the airport are working for free essentially at this point.
- 17:38Speaker 4: So with the shutdown, it would be dishonest to say so,
- 17:42Speaker 4: says Duffy, that more risk is not injected into the
- 17:46Speaker 4: system and the situation, he says, has four stair traffic
- 17:50Speaker 4: controllers to make difficult financial decisions. Some of them are
- 17:53Speaker 4: getting second jobs their family.
- 17:57Speaker 3: This is a risk the Trump administration, I think is
- 18:00Speaker 3: taking because they can find money somewhere in the budget.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Remember the budget is in the trillions and trillions of dollars.
- 18:07Speaker 3: They can move around money they did with this Armed Services,
- 18:10Speaker 3: they did with other departments. And this has become a
- 18:14Speaker 3: political football of extraordinary levels. And have you seen it's
- 18:19Speaker 3: not even this department is closed because of funding.
- 18:23Speaker 2: It's this department is.
- 18:25Speaker 3: Closed because the Democrats won't vote to open up the government.
- 18:30Speaker 2: And that's right in front.
- 18:32Speaker 3: You can't even believe that the politics of saying this
- 18:35Speaker 3: is open, this is closed. And how about the one
- 18:37Speaker 3: that said this department is closed due to the duplicitus
- 18:41Speaker 3: stabbing back bastard Democrats who won't vote to keep the
- 18:45Speaker 3: government open.
- 18:46Speaker 4: There's two parties, there's two sides, and to be able
- 18:49Speaker 4: to blame it on one side or the other, his hasse.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Oh, that's what's going on with this one.
- 18:53Speaker 3: And I think the Republican is going to lose on
- 18:55Speaker 3: this one because already the Americans are.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Blaming Republicans for this.
- 19:01Speaker 5: Absolutely, the optics are horrible.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Yep, all right, one more before we take a break.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Uh, let's take a closer look at this one, shall we.
- 19:10Speaker 6: The federal judge who's overseeing former FBI Director James Comy's
- 19:15Speaker 6: legal challenge to the appointment of Lindsay Halligan as the
- 19:19Speaker 6: US Attorney to the Eastern District is telling prosecutors to
- 19:23Speaker 6: hand over the transcript of Halligan's presentation to the grand
- 19:27Speaker 6: jury that voted to indict Comy. So you'll remember, Comy
- 19:31Speaker 6: pleaded not guilty to these charges. The charges were bought,
- 19:35Speaker 6: were brought by the grand jury, two charges, and Lindsay
- 19:39Speaker 6: Halligan was appointed to cover that because the first person
- 19:43Speaker 6: who was supposed to do it didn't want to bring
- 19:45Speaker 6: the charges or refused to, and so Trump got rid
- 19:47Speaker 6: of her or him and replaced him with Halligan.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Now, is right?
- 19:54Speaker 3: Yeah, an indictment by the grand jury is a secret proceeding.
- 19:57Speaker 2: There was one witness.
- 19:58Speaker 3: That's quite often that happens based on one witness, and
- 20:01Speaker 3: that judge said, I want to see those transcripts, which
- 20:04Speaker 3: is very which is very unusual, very And then the
- 20:09Speaker 3: whole issue of whether or not she should even take
- 20:14Speaker 3: that position because the Senate did not confirm her.
- 20:17Speaker 2: And this is also a political football.
- 20:20Speaker 3: I mean, we're gonna we're gonna see three and a
- 20:21Speaker 3: half year or three years of.
- 20:23Speaker 2: This coming up. All right.
- 20:25Speaker 5: Predatory solicitation. We've heard the story.
- 20:29Speaker 4: In the La Times about the sexual abuse claims against
- 20:36Speaker 4: La City, and those have shed light on something that's
- 20:40Speaker 4: going on that they refer to as predatory salespeople who
- 20:44Speaker 4: stand out in front of the social services offices and
- 20:49Speaker 4: try and use these aggressive I don't know solicitation techniques.
- 20:54Speaker 4: I guess to talk to people that are seeking food
- 20:57Speaker 4: stamps that cache aid that obviously are going to think
- 21:00Speaker 4: through things and woo them to you know, suing or
- 21:07Speaker 4: participating in things to make money.
- 21:10Speaker 3: How double sleazy is this when you take people that
- 21:12Speaker 3: are on this level of vulnerability.
- 21:15Speaker 4: Well, they're not even running after the ambulance at this point,
- 21:19Speaker 4: waiting for the ambulance to come to them. So in
- 21:21Speaker 4: this particular case, this does tie into the county's sex
- 21:26Speaker 4: abuse lawsuit. But also yeah, but just all it like
- 21:31Speaker 4: they're saying they're going to build a buffer zone.
- 21:33Speaker 2: They just don't know how to do it just yet.
- 21:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and how far out solicitation, because you can solicit
- 21:39Speaker 3: I mean, that's the law.
- 21:44Speaker 6: Alex is opting out yous. Senator Alex Padilla announced that
- 21:50Speaker 6: he will not be running for governor of California next year.
- 21:54Speaker 6: There's been speculation about it for months that he might
- 21:57Speaker 6: do it, but he said he's not going to and
- 22:00Speaker 6: said instead he will focus on countering President Trump's agenda
- 22:03Speaker 6: in Congress.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that doesn't matter because if he resigns, you have
- 22:09Speaker 3: Gavin Newsom was going to just appoint another liberal senator.
- 22:14Speaker 3: So I don't get what he is going to do
- 22:18Speaker 3: that another senator that the governor would appoint would not do. Now,
- 22:23Speaker 3: this is an interesting announcement because what he did is
- 22:28Speaker 3: this is a big win for Newsom, big.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Win for Newsom.
- 22:33Speaker 3: The number of name recognized politicos in this state on
- 22:40Speaker 3: the Democratic side is now dropping, now winnowing down.
- 22:44Speaker 2: And Newsom put his entire.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Political he put I think he put a political record,
- 22:50Speaker 3: this political future on Prop fifty and he got such
- 22:53Speaker 3: a massive win that this thing catapulted him in terms
- 22:58Speaker 3: of him will forever.
- 23:00Speaker 5: He tied to his name like he gets that credit one. Yeah,
- 23:03Speaker 5: he does, all right. David Beckham, God bless him.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Man.
- 23:07Speaker 4: This guy has nothing going for him, not you know,
- 23:10Speaker 4: not very attractive, ugly wife, not talent and all that stuff.
- 23:15Speaker 4: But he got knighted. Good for him, knighted by King
- 23:18Speaker 4: Charles the Third. He's the of course. The British soccer
- 23:23Speaker 4: star retired described this as his proudest moment. Boy did
- 23:27Speaker 4: his suit the morning suits, you know, the old school morning.
- 23:32Speaker 3: His wife made it, That's what the story says. And
- 23:36Speaker 3: when he you know, you have to bow down to
- 23:38Speaker 3: the king. Did you notice how low he actually bent? Okay,
- 23:45Speaker 3: bend it like bend it.
- 23:49Speaker 2: You got it, thank you.
- 23:50Speaker 4: It's actually pretty funny.
- 23:54Speaker 2: That was on get it.
- 23:58Speaker 6: Accused of a big old end around. Clippers owner Steve
- 24:02Speaker 6: Baumer is being sued by eleven investors for allegedly using
- 24:06Speaker 6: Aspiration to secretly pay Hawhi Leonard and circumvent the NBA
- 24:13Speaker 6: salary cap. So Balmer was added this week as a
- 24:16Speaker 6: defendant to an existing civil lawsuit against Aspiration's co founder
- 24:21Speaker 6: Joseph Sandberg and several others associated with the now defunct company.
- 24:26Speaker 6: They're saying that a twenty eight million dollar deal between
- 24:29Speaker 6: Aspiration and Kawhi Leonard helped the team circumvent the salary cap.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Okay, does anybody care? Hi don't?
- 24:40Speaker 3: All right?
- 24:41Speaker 2: Well more and Neil fast right up.
- 24:43Speaker 4: So sixteen thousand structors, structures we all know burned in
- 24:46Speaker 4: the Palisades and eaten fires.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Very sad to watch.
- 24:49Speaker 4: While there's a materials company in Canada that called Altech
- 24:55Speaker 4: Advanced Materials that they have this wild fire guardian jelsp
- 25:00Speaker 4: and it gives ninety percent fire protection for homes. You know,
- 25:04Speaker 4: the truth is we have the tech to make fireproof.
- 25:08Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you know, extenseake proof if they're expensive and.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Ugly, but unless your house goes up and smoke, that's
- 25:16Speaker 3: not so expensive.
- 25:17Speaker 2: It is impressive and let me ask the question.
- 25:19Speaker 3: I had Michael Jackson use this gel during that Pepsi corho.
- 25:25Speaker 4: I think you would have been okayasured prior running down
- 25:28Speaker 4: the street.
