  Speaker 1: of my life in terms of blessings. You know, I

  Speaker 1: take mostly a positive approach and a positive spin to

  Speaker 1: my life. I hardly ever dwell on uh you know,

  Speaker 1: the what's well. I can't say that I don't think

  Speaker 1: about the what's wrong in it because I have to,

  Speaker 1: because I have to address problems as they arise. But

  Speaker 1: I try not to let them consume me. I let

  Speaker 1: the consumption part be about the blessings, the positive things

  Speaker 1: that has occurred in my life, the good things that
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: God has done for me, the power that He's displayed
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: in my life, the protection He's given me over the years,

  Speaker 1: to being tucked under his wings folk because on the
• 1:00
  Speaker 1: things that He promises me. I think of all the
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: goodness that I perceive to come my way. I think
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: that has a lot to do with me learning more
• 1:10
  Speaker 1: and more about the law of attraction in terms of
• 1:13
  Speaker 1: you know, what you think and what you put out
• 1:16
  Speaker 1: in the space and what you pray about is what
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: you receive, you know, and so I've become better and
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: better at that. It's not to say that I'm not
• 1:25
  Speaker 1: human and I don't have moments where I think a
• 1:29
  Speaker 1: little bit too long about what's going wrong and what
• 1:32
  Speaker 1: enemy is about to attack and what they're going to
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: do and say and all of this. His That's not
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: to say that I'm not concerned about it, but I
• 1:40
  Speaker 1: try to dwell mostly on the positive. And one of
• 1:44
  Speaker 1: the things that I learned, you can have an incredible life,

  Speaker 1: all of us. We can have incredible lives if we
• 1:52
  Speaker 1: just let God drive. See. The problem that I had
• 1:57
  Speaker 1: years ago was I was the driver of my life,

  Speaker 1: and I was taking myself in the directions that I
• 2:05
  Speaker 1: thought would be best for me, and I aimed at
• 2:08
  Speaker 1: things that I thought I could accomplish, and I set
• 2:13
  Speaker 1: goals that I saw myself being able to attain. I
• 2:17
  Speaker 1: was driving. When I gave up and I let God drive,
• 2:22
  Speaker 1: I then opened up my mind and my spirit to
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: what God had for me, for what God could see
• 2:31
  Speaker 1: for me, for what God could do in my life, well,
• 2:34
  Speaker 1: for what God wanted for me. Now he wanted for me,
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: and he wanted of me. See that's the connection that
• 2:44
  Speaker 1: you got to try to make well, not try. That's
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: the connection that you got to make to really get it. Now,
• 2:49
  Speaker 1: listen to me, what I don't want you to do
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: is do like me. Don't be afraid of the what
• 2:55
  Speaker 1: for of the what he wants you to do part, see,
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: because that ain't gonna be near demanding and as offsetting

  Speaker 1: as you think it's gonna be. See, I thought that

  Speaker 1: if I did God's will, that if I let God

  Speaker 1: tell me what to do, that it would cause me

  Speaker 1: to not to be able to do a certain some

  Speaker 1: things I wanted to do well, which is true. But

  Speaker 1: the stuff I wanted to do was all detrimental to
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: my well being and my future and my growth and
• 3:22
  Speaker 1: development as a man. I was stopping my own growth
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: as a man because see, I was doing what I
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: thought I should do as a man. But when you
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: give it over to God, God has a much better
• 3:33
  Speaker 1: plan for you than you can ever have for yourself.
• 3:36
  Speaker 1: And God knows a better way, far better than the
• 3:38
  Speaker 1: one you know. I want you to believe that. Man,
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: You got to understand that part of it. And that's
• 3:43
  Speaker 1: the part that I finally got through my head to
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: let God do it his way and to show me
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: a better way, and to teach me a better way
• 3:52
  Speaker 1: and expose to me a better way. And when I
• 3:55
  Speaker 1: opened up my mind to what God was talking about,
• 3:58
  Speaker 1: I began to see things differently, and things started coming
• 4:02
  Speaker 1: to me totally differently. If you've been a friend of
• 4:06
  Speaker 1: mine or a fan of mine over the years, I mean,
• 4:09
  Speaker 1: you've had to see it, the change. You've had to
• 4:12
  Speaker 1: see the difference. I mean, and I acknowledge that every
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: chance I get, because I promised God I would, and
• 4:19
  Speaker 1: I hope that I'm not falling short in that category.

  Speaker 1: But then again, if I told it all day long,
• 4:25
  Speaker 1: would he done for me? I still wouldn't have enough
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: time to really explain thoroughly what He's done for me,
• 4:31
  Speaker 1: because it's such a continuous growth in me. But now
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: that's not to say that I'm finished or I'm done
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: or I'm complete, because I'm still shock. You can't be him.

  Speaker 1: You can strive for perfection. I hear people saying it
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: all the time. I applaud you for saying you want
• 4:49
  Speaker 1: to be perfect, but you ain't and you can't. So
• 4:53
  Speaker 1: you quit saying it. You quit saying it to me,
• 4:55
  Speaker 1: quit saying it to other people. I'm seeking a life
• 4:58
  Speaker 1: of perfection. But it's something that you cannot have because
• 5:02
  Speaker 1: he said you can't do it. But that's what he'd
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: have for. He'd have for the moments when you stumble
• 5:07
  Speaker 1: and you fall, and you go stumble and fall. See,
• 5:09
  Speaker 1: you got to get that part right, man, The stumbling
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: falling part is coming. But see, you get God in
• 5:15
  Speaker 1: your life and it helps you so that you don't stumble, fall,
• 5:19
  Speaker 1: wallow roll, over lay their languish. That's what God is for.

  Speaker 1: So when you stumbling fall, you get back up because
• 5:27
  Speaker 1: you're going to make mistakes. You're going to get it wrong.

  Speaker 1: You're going to come under attack, You're going to be
• 5:34
  Speaker 1: lied about, you are going to be falsely accused. That's
• 5:38
  Speaker 1: going to happen to you the moment you make a
• 5:41
  Speaker 1: decision to do better, the moment you try to be more.

  Speaker 1: The devil got to send his attackers, man, and he
• 5:48
  Speaker 1: controls certain people. He just got people that's on his side.

  Speaker 1: Twenty four seven. You know him too. You've all met
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: one or two of them in your life. They just
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: busy with the business of nothing, thickness. They just busy

  Speaker 1: about about the destruction of others. You said, I know
• 6:05
  Speaker 1: them you know them, they coming. But here's what you

  Speaker 1: got to hold fast too. They can't take away nothing

  Speaker 1: from you that God gave you. They didn't make you. See,

  Speaker 1: people who claim to have made you, if they so
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: in to make you business, why don't they make theyself?

  Speaker 1: Or if they ain't with you no more? And they

  Speaker 1: so busy in them I made you business, why don't

  Speaker 1: they make somebody else? Since you want to get credit

  Speaker 1: for making somebody make yourself. If you're responsible for someone
• 6:39
  Speaker 1: else's success, then you should easily be able to take
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: claim and be responsible for your own success. See, be
• 6:45
  Speaker 1: careful of that, don't and don't change your course because
• 6:50
  Speaker 1: somebody is attacking you with that. I just hope, man,

  Speaker 1: that I'm giving it to God the way I said

  Speaker 1: I would give it to him, that I would unload

  Speaker 1: every chance I got that I would suppose two without

  Speaker 1: being you know, or here he come again? You know.

  Speaker 1: I try not to be that, but man, I don't

  Speaker 1: know what else to be. For the first twelve minutes

  Speaker 1: I got four hours. I can't give God twelve twelve minutes, man,

  Speaker 1: let's look at this right here. If you given honor

  Speaker 1: to God just twelve minutes out the day, dog, he

  Speaker 1: gave you twenty four hours of luxury and life and

  Speaker 1: breath and hope and promise, you ain't got twelve minutes

  Speaker 1: to give him out the day. That don't make no sense.

  Speaker 1: What in exchange, What a wonderful life God has given

  Speaker 1: me in exchange for so small of effort that I

  Speaker 1: put forth. Don't let the effort you got to put

  Speaker 1: forth to God seem so dawning that you don't attempt

  Speaker 1: to do it, because, man, it seems like a lot.

  Speaker 1: It ain't nothing to compare to what He be giving
• 7:48
  Speaker 1: us for real. So if you want a real life,

  Speaker 1: you want a real shot at what you can be,

  Speaker 1: what you can have, what you can own, what you
• 7:53
  Speaker 1: can become who you really are, go to God. Let
