- 0:04My name is Victor Furman. Some call me the Voice. I've always been
- 0:11fascinated with human nature, spirituality, science, and the crossroads at which they
- 0:17meet. Join me now and we will explore these topics and so much more
- 0:22with fascinating guests, authors, and experts who will guide us to Destination Unlimited.
- 0:34Much like the legendary heroes and heroines of Greek and Roman mythology, we
- 0:41too experience love, hate, failure, and challenges along our way to enlightenment.
- 0:49Though no hero's journey is perfect, we have the power to rise again
- 0:54in cosmic alignment with our inner hero. My guest this week on Destination Unlimited,
- 1:00Ltau Wang has combined these legendary characters, his personal mastery of astrology,
- 1:07a profound understanding of cosmic laws, and his intuitive skills to create The Healing
- 1:14Kingdom. Ltau Wang had been confused about life when one faithful meeting with a
- 1:19spiritual counselor in Australia changed everything. Since opening his professional practice in Hong Kong,
- 1:26he has helped many with financial, family and relationship problems through spiritual counseling.
- 1:34His website is the Healing Kingdom dot com and he joins me this week
- 1:38to share his path and just publish Divination Deck and book Oracle of the Mythic
- 1:45Heroes. Please join me in welcoming to Destination Unlimited. Ltau Wang, Welcome,
- 1:52Lato, Hi, Hello Victor. Thank you very much for having me,
- 1:56and thank you for joining us and sharing your amazing career in all this
- 1:59wonderful work that you bring to our world. So please share with us your
- 2:02early path and your early understanding of spirit and nature. M So, I
- 2:09actually grew up in a very traditional Chinese family. Uh. My parents are
- 2:15never, you know, very spiritual, and you know, they were very
- 2:17traditional, and you know, from the early age, we were you know,
- 2:22studying things, you know, you know, because I grew up in
- 2:24China, so you know, we had to study, you know, whatever,
- 2:29you know, the traditional Chinese came to be learn. But spirituality was
- 2:31never a part of that. And I think when I was a kid,
- 2:38I was really fascinated by, you know, video games and a lot of
- 2:43the game characters. I don't know why. I just sometimes I would just
- 2:46let myself drift in my imagination and imagine I would I would be one of
- 2:52those heroes in the in the game or in the books, and and that
- 2:58was a little bit like my escape from the reality or from you know,
- 3:01the mountain life. And of course, you know, that was just always
- 3:07you know, either you can call that a hobby or something that I like
- 3:10to do. But I never really thought I would, you know, use
- 3:15my imagination or use my fascination towards a myth as a career until I was
- 3:25around twenty eight or twenty nine years old. I remember, because I was
- 3:30working in the finance for many, many years, but I was just not
- 3:36very inspired. Every day I was doing my job because I needed to pay
- 3:40my rent, because I needed to live up to the expectations from either my
- 3:47parents or from the so called the society. Right if you are a you
- 3:53know, let's say, twenty seven, twenty eight year old guy, this
- 3:57is what you're supposed to do. You're supposed to put on a suit,
- 4:00posed to go to your job and earn a salary. And and of course,
- 4:03you know, during that period of time, I had a lot of
- 4:06struggles because I didn't really know what my motivation was and who I was.
- 4:14And before that, I think around I was maybe twenty four twenty five,
- 4:20I spent some time studying overseas and that's when I met my spiritual teacher,
- 4:27who actually officially, yeah, introduced me to Greek mythology, because that's a
- 4:32very important part only study astrology. And when I encountered Greek mythology, I
- 4:41felt I met my soulmate. I felt that I never felt that fascinated or
- 4:46excited about something like that. And so, you know, I was learning
- 4:54it. I was studying it, you know, with my teacher and also
- 4:56by myself. And around the age of twenty eight twenty nine, I think
- 4:59I had my first awakening and I realized that finally realize who I am and
- 5:08what I want to do as a career, and what is my calling.
- 5:11And so that's how things started. But I would say compared to a lot
- 5:15of let's say psychics or spiritual counselors, my development was quite late because a
- 5:23lot of people that I know, they realized that when they were kids,
- 5:25you know, maybe when they were six or seven years old, they already
- 5:29you know, had their you know, first spiritual experience and things like that.
- 5:31I didn't. I didn't understand who I was until I was in my
- 5:39mid twenties. So but now looking back, yeah, I mean all those
- 5:45years that I worked in finance, and I was, you know, also
- 5:47in university, I studied something completely different from what I'm doing now. But
- 5:54I do feel that all those thoughts are connected, and some of the things
- 5:58that I spent years working on and also studying as a student or as a
- 6:04worker, they all contributed to my current career. Let me ask you about
- 6:11this calling to Greek and Roman mythology. What do you think was the connection
- 6:16about the information in Greek and Roman mythology that threw you, that grabbed you.
- 6:21Yeah, I guess you know, first of all, I've always had
- 6:27this fascination about our past, about our history. Yeah, And I sometimes
- 6:31you know, for example, when I was eighteen years old, I actually
- 6:35published a book in China. It's a fiction novel about, you know,
- 6:41a story that happened three four hundred years ago. So I was also,
- 6:46you know, always fascinated by history and the past and the myth because there's
- 6:50always something that we didn't know about our past. And secondly, I think
- 6:57it doesn't really matter what era that we live in, whether it's now or
- 7:01thousands of years ago. We all live on this planet and we all learn
- 7:06the same lessons again and again and again. And I don't really think that,
- 7:12you know, how we're so much different compared to our ancestors. One
- 7:19of the typical examples was we can say, for example, the human beings
- 7:24have been involved in wars for thousands of years, but it seems like we
- 7:30have never learned our lessons about not starting a war or living yeah, right,
- 7:36living harmoniously with each other. We haven't learned that. And you know,
- 7:40now, we think we're so much more advanced compared to our ancestors,
- 7:43but we still make the same mistakes. So I really feel that we're the
- 7:46same. And from the stories in Greek mythology or Roman mythology, we are
- 7:54learning exactly the same thing, and they give us a lot of things or
- 8:01inspirations, but they're not in the way that is, so how do we
- 8:09do? It's very easy for us to learn, I think, because at
- 8:11the end of that there are stories, and there's magic in that, there
- 8:15is imagination in that. So it's also easy for us to read that without
- 8:20too much intensity. We can digest that easily. We find it interesting,
- 8:26but we also learn so many things from from from them. Absolutely, Please
- 8:33tell us about your founding of the Healing Kingdom. What inspired this and what
- 8:37do you offer those who are called to you as clients? M So,
- 8:43I think you usually, you know, for most let's say psychics or sometimes
- 8:50you know, some people call themselves a fort and tellers, which is,
- 8:52you know, totally fine, because I've I've met some of the most amazing
- 8:56fords and tellers around the world, whom I also have the opportunity to study
- 9:01under. I think what really attracted me was not just about the fortune telling
- 9:09or the making predictions for the future, but I was very attracted to being
- 9:13a therapist. And I think this has a lot to deal with you know,
- 9:18when I was born, my my the natal chart, my astrological natal
- 9:22chart, has my normal in conjunction with chirn and chi. In Greek mythology,
- 9:28is was wounded healer. He was a centaur and it was also on
- 9:33an herbalist right. He used his power to heal millions of people. But
- 9:41you know, ironically he was poisoned at the end and he died. And
- 9:46so usually when people have this chirn star in conjunction with this norsal, they
- 9:50usually find fulfillment and girls in the art of healing or in the art of
- 9:56therapy. So when I what I said, I used to work in banks.
- 10:01But you know, when you work in banks, you know these kind
- 10:05of financial institutions, the purpose of your work is not to help people.
- 10:09Well, sometimes you do, but mainly it's to make money, and especially
- 10:15sometimes you have to make richer rich people richer, and that's the purpose of
- 10:20banking, I think. But for me, I was never fulfilled in that.
- 10:24And so when I realized that what I really wanted to do was to
- 10:28bring the art of healing to the world, to the at least the world
- 10:35that I live in, I realized that I want to start this business.
- 10:41And the purpose, of course, a part of it is about fortune telling,
- 10:45it's about making predictions, but I my my purpose is really to help
- 10:50my clients to look at their current life and their their journey so far and
- 10:58sort of let them reflect on their own psychology and so that we can find
- 11:03healing and we can find the so called therapy through the session, so that
- 11:09they will be able to create their own tool when they move forward in their
- 11:13life. And that's the motivation of starting the Healing Kingdom. As both a
- 11:20spiritual counselor and professional astrologist, you've been helping clients access their intuition and individual
- 11:28power for many years. How do tarot and oracle readings support this work?
- 11:35So I see taro and oracle readings as powerful tools that I use to support
- 11:39my clients in accessing their intuition and also their personal power. I tend to
- 11:46focus on these powerful tools more often during the first half of posession I called
- 11:52this is the stage of diagnosis, and then I will move on to the
- 11:58so called counseling part where I will combine my esoteric studies and counseling skills over
- 12:03the therapeutic process. I do believe that readings act as a mirror because they
- 12:11reflect the inner workings of the self and they illuminate the subconscious patterns which can
- 12:18shape our experience for me, terrort cars or any type of oracle cars that
- 12:24we use. They are effective in revealing the dynamics at play in our lives
- 12:30and they offer insights into our past influences, our present circumstances, and also
- 12:37our potential future outcomes. And so that's how I use them because I do
- 12:45see them act as a divine guidance system that can offer immediate clarity on personal
- 12:52questions or the dilemmas we have. So the other thing is about the you
- 12:56know, is astrology, and as we all know that astrology is the foundation
- 13:01of all esoteric studies. You know, numerology is related to it. Uh,
- 13:07each terror card is related to is ruled by the astrological either it's a
- 13:15sign or it's a planet. And so when we study herald you know,
- 13:20oracle cards, or even numerology and mythology, we can always find their origins
- 13:24in astrology. And all these different ways we use are based on the hermetic
- 13:30concept of as above, so below, and as within so without to interpret
- 13:33the relationships between the celestial bodies and human life. And this implies that the
- 13:39patterns and the movement occurring in the cosmos are mirrored here on Earth and in
- 13:45our lives, characters, and destinies. And thus I think in my spiritual
- 13:50counseling sessions, by studying the positions and aspects of the heavening bodies, or
- 13:54by analyzing the card messages pulled by the client, we can gain insight into
- 14:01the subtle forces at play in our lives. And so, as a result
- 14:05of this celestial symmetry, astrology and card reading can offer a framework through which
- 14:13we can better understand ourselves and navigate the complexities of our lives. What sets
- 14:18you apart from most astrologists today? I believe that my unique approach to astrology
- 14:26sets me apart from many practitioners in the field. And I think this distinction
- 14:33stems from my background background in counseling. As you know, sometimes you go
- 14:39to a traditional astrologer, especially I've seen a lot of Vedic astrologers focus on
- 14:46a lot on let's say, the future prediction or the part of fate.
- 14:50For example, I live in Hong Kong, and you know, we have
- 14:54a big population of Indian people here, and sometimes we have a lot of
- 14:58Indian clients coming to me and saying, oh, they have seen them a
- 15:01Vedic astrologer, maybe back in India or somewhere, and they were told that
- 15:05at certain age they must get married. You know, this is the time
- 15:09that they must do this and this, you know. So you know what
- 15:13my understanding about Vedic astrology is, it focuses so much on fate. It
- 15:18focuses on you know, what we must do at certain timing. But as
- 15:22a spiritual counselor what I really what I want to believe in. And also
- 15:26I think this would work a lot better for for people in general, is
- 15:33that there is a sense of faith in there. But we really want to
- 15:37focus on how we can use our own action, our own our own you
- 15:43know, change of our mentality and our attitude to create the future that we
- 15:48want, rather than purely uh you know, rely on the so called destiny,
- 15:52even though there is the desnthy there. And so I think this is
- 15:58very important when we bring the canting part into an astrology session or a terror
- 16:03car session, it's about empowering people rather than telling them this is your fate
- 16:08and deal with it or not, you know what I mean. And so
- 16:14yeah, so I think, yeah, and I think that's the difference.
- 16:18And that's why, even though I was trained by a traditional fortune teller,
- 16:22you know, when I was living in Sydney, Australia, about I would
- 16:26say four years after I started my practice, I realized I really wanted to
- 16:34study counseling systematically. So I that's how I started my uh my master degree
- 16:41in UH in psychological counseling. And through that course and I was really able
- 16:48to gain the knowledge and also learn the practice actually in modern day counseling.
- 16:53And I was fortunate to actually, uh, you know interurn in different you
- 17:00know clinics and really see actual patients in clins who are looking for you know,
- 17:07psychological counseling. And that really helped me a lot in my in my
- 17:11own practice. I think, how has astrology changed since its beginnings in ancient
- 17:18Mesopotamia? Mm hm, So Australia has this long history. I think.
- 17:23I think it originated in the yeah, the Mesopotania time around you know,
- 17:30third third millennium BC, and then it spread it to India and then you
- 17:36know, then you know, spread to many different countries into you know,
- 17:41Greece and other countries. I think when we read the old astrology books,
- 17:47right, I mean we're the you know, the things related to the old
- 17:49astrology articles, and we can see that it was a lot more rigid.
- 17:56Like what I said, it focused a lot on the so called prebateiction techniques
- 18:00and it's about what happens, you know, and because the stars are moving
- 18:06in this way, that's why this will happen, right, That's why the
- 18:08king will die, That's why there will be a flood. I think these
- 18:12days when we look at astrology personally, I don't really believe that astrology predicts
- 18:18our future. Even though I am an astrologer, I believe that it's more
- 18:21sort of like astrology. They're a little bit like a mural. They're reflecting
- 18:25our human mind, and so they don't really control us. We are not
- 18:30being led by the stars. Right. Let's say now, for example,
- 18:33Pluto has just moved into a Quarius these months, and so that's why now
- 18:40you know, our thinking are you know changed, you know, and now
- 18:41we're all about you know, AI technology revolution things like that. But I
- 18:47do feel that modern tech austrology has developed into a more into a different explanation
- 18:55right about the sky, and we're really looking at the synchronicity between the celestial
- 19:00riem and us. So it's not about they decide our life or we decide
- 19:04their movement, but it's more about we come to this understanding that everything works
- 19:11in harmony, and they work sort of like you know, in synchronicity with
- 19:17each other, and when certain things are moving to certain positions and there are
- 19:21certain things happening in our human society, and it's almost like we're each other's
- 19:26a mirror. And that's how I see the difference between the modern astrology and
- 19:30the traditional where the old astrology from hundreds of years ago. You've created an
- 19:36amazing new deck, the Oracle of the Mythic Heroes, in which you combine
- 19:41astrology, crystals, zodiac signs, Greek and Roman mythology, and much more.
- 19:48How are each of these divination tools connected and how do they work together?
- 19:52Yeah, so I'm really happy about this deck which has just been published
- 19:57the beginning of January. This here with Beyond Words publishing. For me,
- 20:03each of these divination tools right that you mentioned astrology, crystals and zodic signs
- 20:10through their You know, I think they're all unique in their in their own
- 20:15way, and but the important thing is they're intricately interconnected through a shared object,
- 20:22which is to offer guidance, introspection, uh, and a deeper understanding
- 20:26of the self and the universe. So astrology and zodic signs tend to map
- 20:30out our personality, traits, our strength, the challenges based on celestial patterns.
- 20:37Well. The crystals in the book, I think they help us harning
- 20:41the energy of the Earth to bring the balance and clarity. So you can
- 20:45see astrology and crystals mirror each other, just like the sky and the earth
- 20:51and mythology in the book is a very very important part. Because you can
- 20:55also see the guide Book of Oracle of the mythic Heroes as my own rendition
- 20:59of forty different mythological stories. I believe they provide us with a time tested
- 21:07wisdom through you know, the the personified deities and the heroes. You know,
- 21:14some of them are quite complex, you know, like what I said
- 21:17in the book, none of them are perfect. They all struggle, and
- 21:21some of them, you know, they gain their victory, but later you
- 21:25know they fall again. Right, So it's almost like they keep going through
- 21:29this the way of fortune, the cycle of life. And I think by
- 21:33studying these stories and the narratives, we gain insights into the human condition and
- 21:38they help us understand our emotions, our actions and motivations better. The gods
- 21:47and the heroes and the mythical creatures, which are carefully selected in this stack,
- 21:52embody different aspects of our psych and make them the powerful symbols in our
- 22:00psychoanalytic studies. So when we combine all these things together, we create a
- 22:06comprehensive toolkit for our self discovery and spiritual growth. And if I may use
- 22:11an analogy, I think all of these things they coexist like notes in the
- 22:17symphony and each playing their unique part, but together they form a harmonious melody
- 22:22that guide us on our path. Beautiful, my guest is Luda Wang.

- 23:49this week latal Wang. He is the creator of the beautiful and wonderful oracle
- 23:56of the mythic heroes. Letto, you share that there are three heroes for
- 24:00each of the sun signs. My sun sign is Capricorn. One heroes are
- 24:07associated with the goat, so uh. There are many different archetypes that we
- 24:12can we can look at because even when we talk about Capricorn, right,
- 24:17it's a it's not just one dimensional. We can look at Capricorn from different
- 24:22different angles u in uh if. Usually when we look at a lot of
- 24:26the past astrological analysis, I've seen a lot of astrologers where mythologists associate the
- 24:34U U the consolation sign Capricorn with Pan. So Pan is a Greek deity.
- 24:41He was the Greek god of mountains and nature and trees, and you
- 24:45know, he dances, he drinks, you know, he he he's such
- 24:49a hedonist right in the in uh a Greek mythology. And but he is
- 24:56a little bit like this gold looking god right because he has the human faith
- 25:00but he has a gold body, and a lot of people would associate him
- 25:03with a Capricorn. And sometimes people ask, but Capacorn is such a hardworking
- 25:08energy, right, people say, Capricorn people are very goal oriented, they're
- 25:14very hardworking. How can you associate Capricorn with Pan? And so this has
- 25:18a lot to deal with Harold, right, because in tarot cards, actually,
- 25:22so there's a card that rules a Capricorn, which is the devil card.
- 25:26Now, there's nothing scary about the devil card. But usually when we
- 25:30look at the devil card, we're talking about in a good way. This
- 25:33is about our obsession towards something, right, Right, So if you're talking
- 25:37about a career goal or something that we really want to pursue, the devil
- 25:40card could be something that is very very helpful because he needs you to focus
- 25:45one hundred percent on this thing that you want, and so it's almost like
- 25:48you become you become obsessed with it, right, And that's how it's associated
- 25:53and the devil. In mythic pild the god actually did picked it on.
- 26:00The devil's card is Pan. Now in my book, because my oracle the
- 26:07mythic Heroes is mainly talking about the mortals and human stories. So there are
- 26:11three heroes that I have written to associate with the the sign of Capricorn.
- 26:19The first one is a Yes and his keyword is foundation uh. And the
- 26:25second hero is Sisipus and the related keyword is called burden because he had to
- 26:33push the rock right up heels all the time. And the last hero related
- 26:37to Capricorn, which is more I would say it's easier for people to understand
- 26:41why this is Capricorn is lio Nidas and the the keyword for him is perseverance.
- 26:48And we can all see his perseverance and his sense of in his courage
- 26:53and his tenacity in the movie The three Hundred, in which he led the
- 27:00three hundred soldiers spots and soldiers to fight against the Persian invasion. Absolutely.
- 27:06You know, you talk about Capricorns being into details, and you talked about
- 27:10the devil and as they say, the devil is in the details, correct.
- 27:14Absolutely, yeah, you know, sometimes very funny because in the reading
- 27:18sometimes, you know, the devil car would show up right and the client
- 27:22gets so freaked out and they're like, oh my god, what is this?
- 27:25You know, what's wrong? You know, and I'll be like,
- 27:26you know, come down. You know, there's no devil really out there,
- 27:30but sometimes, you know, the devil is really showing that, you
- 27:34know, our obsession or our knees to chase something or to get something,
- 27:41and it all depends on how you channel this energy. Sometimes. To be
- 27:44honest, we all need a little bit devil energy in us in order to
- 27:47find our success. And you talked about Sissyphus pushing the rock up the hill
- 27:52and it rolls back down and he has to push it up again. And
- 27:53you talked about persistence, and I think that really sort of emphasis is the
- 28:00nature of my life and my experience. So thank you for sharing that.
- 28:03You're welcome. You're well, that's that's Capricorn, right. But by the
- 28:07way, do you know your moon sign? Yes, Aquarius Aquarius? Okay,
- 28:11so the sign of the future technology absolutely interesting sun and Capricorn moon Aquarius
- 28:19and cancer ascendant. Oh you're cancer rising? Oh interesting? Okay. So
- 28:25so you've got you know, the Earth, you've got the the air energy,
- 28:27and you also got the water energy there. Interesting And as a dear
- 28:32friend of mine, an astrology front of mine said, I'm a hot mess
- 28:37or interesting. Interesting. Well, you know, usually when we look at
- 28:41you know sun and the sun the right people ask, so, you know,
- 28:45what do they mean? Okay? Does that just mean that I have
- 28:47three signs in US? Usually I see these three different you know, signs
- 28:51in US. It's the sun is really showing what you are living your life
- 28:55to be. The sun is almost like the future goal there, right,
- 28:57So we're walking towards us. And your moon sign is something that you are
- 29:02born with because the moon is about your natural instinct, it's your usually,
- 29:07you know, if you consult an astrologer, they will tell you the moon
- 29:10sign represents your family, your early childhood, sometimes talking about your mother,
- 29:15sometimes talking about your emotional reaction. And the one thing that is very interesting
- 29:18about our emotion reaction is that we don't learn that your emotional reaction is something
- 29:23that naturally in you. And I always use this example. For example,
- 29:27Let's say you're driving your car right and someone maybe beep to you, you
- 29:32know, from behind. What is your reaction towards that? Right? And
- 29:36definitely, you know, the moon sign in aerage people will be more explosive,
- 29:38but the moon sign in liberal people, the first thing they react is,
- 29:41okay, I want to you know, resolve these issues through diplomatic negotiation.
- 29:48So you know, the moon sign is something that we're born with,
- 29:51but the sun is something we have to learn. And that is why a
- 29:55lot of people when they come to a consultation, they say, I cannot
- 29:59relate to my son sign. Right. For example, some people say I'm
- 30:02a let's say I'm a cancer, but I don't love children, right,
- 30:06I don't want children, but I don't understand why I'm a cancer. So
- 30:08that has a lot to deal with that because the sun sign is not something
- 30:11you're naturally born with. The moon is something a lot of people can associate
- 30:15more and at an early stage. And the sundence is the path that you
- 30:19need to walk towards your son. Pretty much, let's share a few other
- 30:25of the mythical characters and the relationship in the cards. Please share with us
- 30:30the myth of theseus and how does this guide those seeking to be stronger leaders?
- 30:36Right? So? Uh, Thethius I wrote this hero as the first
- 30:41chapter in Oracle of the Mythic Heroes, and his associated zoetic sign is Aris.
- 30:48Yeah, which is also the first sign on the astrological wheel. We
- 30:52all know Thethius is widely regarded as a great leader in Greek mythology because of
- 30:57his heroic feats, his strategic intellect, and also his noble character. He
- 31:04is most famous for slaying the Minotaur, which is a fearsome beast which resided
- 31:11in the labyrinth of Crete. The successfully navigated the complex mays on his own,
- 31:18which showcases his resourcefulness and also his courage. And secondly, I think
- 31:22his leadership was also evident in his role as a king of Athens after the
- 31:27Minotaur journey. Uh, he significantly contributed contributed to the political and the social
- 31:36reformation of the city states Athens. His commitment to justice, combined with his
- 31:44bravery and his wisdom, cement his legacy as an amazing leader in Greek myth
- 31:51So you can see how this sets him apart from heroes such as let's say
- 31:55Jason or Balarathan, who played a role more or less of a warrior instead
- 31:59of a king. And so that's the difference he for example, one of
- 32:05the difference is, you know, a king has to take responsibility, unlike
- 32:08for example, Jason, after become becoming the king, he pretty much didn't
- 32:15do much about you know, his uh, his his kingdom. And so
- 32:19I think this is the part about Theseius. That is really honorable because he
- 32:22was not just you know about his courage and okay, he slaid the minotaur,
- 32:28but also he really you know, took the responsibility of a king and
- 32:31he developed Athens. Yeah, Orpheus was a bard, a musician, and
- 32:37a prophet. If someone draws the card of Orpheus, what message might they
- 32:43need to hear? Uh? Well, I have to say Orpheus is one
- 32:46of my favorite Greek mythology. Uh the characters so far, I mean,
- 32:52I always have so much admiration towards this figure. Just in case our audience
- 33:00don't know about him. He's a legendary figure known for his extraordinary musical talent.
- 33:06This figure sends a powerful spiritual message about healing and the power of love.
- 33:10Actually, first of all, if we read the stories even before his
- 33:15love of youur it is Orpheis never really played his a leayer or a liar
- 33:22for entertainment purposes or attention. He played it to heal the people around him
- 33:28as a therapy. In astrology, creativity and performance are usually ruled by Leo
- 33:34because Leo symbolizes our desire to take the center stage, to be in the
- 33:37limelight and get the attention and the plaus we need. But it's a bit
- 33:43like I'm standing in the center and it's you know, the Leo energy.
- 33:45Yeah, it's a bit like I'm standing in the center and all eyes are
- 33:50on me. But in Oracle the mythic heroes, we can see that the
- 33:53ruling zodic for Orphis is not Leo. It's cancer, and cancer is a
- 33:58water is an emotional sign. And this is why Worth his music was not
- 34:02about being showy or entertaining, but it was more about being loving, nurturing,
- 34:07and protective. We can also see this from his participation with the Argonauts
- 34:14with Jason and later his assistance to Odysseus in Homer's Ilia and Odyssey, and
- 34:21his musical instrument, the lyric, was more like his own weapon to protect
- 34:24his friends uh and his allies from the harm of the sirens. So the
- 34:31most important story about him was also his journey into the underworld. He dared
- 34:37to venture into the underworld for the love of his wife, Eridus, and
- 34:40this story teaches us about the depths that we're willing to traverse for healing,
- 34:45love and transformation. And this tale encourages personal healing by urging us to confront
- 34:51our fears. As we all know the underworld is is scary, so that
- 34:57we need to face the darkness and shadows in us bring back the light,
- 35:01much like Worfiz and his journey to the underworld, So now we can learn
- 35:07from He's also from his failed attempt to save his wife. He looked back
- 35:12at the soul of eurroit Is despite Hades warned him why because he couldn't trust.
- 35:17So on the surface level, it was about him not trusting Hades,
- 35:22but metaphorically it was about him not trusting himself, as the underworld is really
- 35:28the symbol of our deepest subconsciousness. So I think when it comes to healing,
- 35:32his story also prompts us to question ourselves what can we not trust?
- 35:38And where does that come from? And also you share the connection between the
- 35:43crystal emerald and the story of Orpheus. What's the message there? Well,
- 35:49emerald crystal is famous for its hard healing properties. It resonates with you know,
- 35:54the message of Wortheiz profoundly. I think it is known to promote emotional
- 36:00balance, healing, and abundance, the qualities that align with Orpheus's tale of
- 36:05love and transformation. And I think By embracing the emerald crystal's energy, you
- 36:10can use it for your meditation. We're simply carried with you. We can
- 36:15foster the courage needed to face our inner darkness, just like Orpheus, leading
- 36:21us to our profound healing and personal transformation. Now, when we think of
- 36:27Medusa, we envision the gorgon with snakes for hair and the ability to turn
- 36:32those who looked upon her into stone? What might the universe be telling us
- 36:37if we draw the card for Mendusa. This is another very very interesting figure
- 36:45right in Greek mythology. Some people really love medusas some people are very scared
- 36:50of her. I think Medusa carries this profound spiritual and psychological symbolism. She
- 36:57represents the dark and the primal aspect of the human psyche. She embodies the
- 37:02concept of the shadow, which is represented with sorry, which is repressed and
- 37:08denied in us. Often and sometimes we can also cause a lot of destructive
- 37:14behaviors and traits. The snake hair that she has represents intertwining of fear,
- 37:21desire, and danger. It serves as a reminder to all of us that
- 37:25our deepest fear are often closely intertwined with our greatest desires and can lead us
- 37:31down dangerous, dangerous path if left unchecked. And also think may do to
- 37:37the gaze that well, we all know her gaze could turn anyone who looks
- 37:43at her into stone. We can also see this as a warning against being
- 37:47consumed by one's own ego and vanity. And when this card shows up,
- 37:52for example, in the reading and I think it's it's a call from our
- 37:58higher self to tell us to confront our inner shadows. In the midst the
- 38:02godess of wisdom Athena instructed Perseous, the famous hero, to use a polished
- 38:09shield as a mirror to defeat Medusa, so we can see the observation through
- 38:15the mirror. Uh. This mirror like shield by Perseus to defeat Medusa serves
- 38:22as a metaphor. Uh. It teaches us to confront and conquer our inner
- 38:25struggles through our reflection and honesty. And actually, the key word for this
- 38:31Medusa card in this in oracle of the Mysic heroes is called reflection. Is
- 38:37about finding that shiny mirror in us so that we can reflect and destroy that
- 38:44darkness in us. You know, the idea of turning to stone. We're
- 38:49really talking about the heart turning to stone to close the heart? Is it
- 38:53one hundred percent? Yeah, that's what I Because I think a lot of
- 38:58the actual counseling sessions, when ever we see the first card, you know,
- 39:01coming out as a MEDDUSA, they're usually saying that there's something being closed
- 39:07in the client's heart, for sure. A very typical example that I can
- 39:10give to you is, let's say, several weeks ago, I had a
- 39:15client who was you know, who came to me told me she felt very
- 39:20stuck and her first card was MEDDUSA. And when I asked her what happened,
- 39:23and she said, she has been She's a female client in her mid
- 39:29forties, and she has never been married, and you know, she had
- 39:34a very you know, traumatizing experiences in dating but you know, around that
- 39:40age, and she felt she has lost hope in love. And I asked
- 39:45her, as why would you say that, and she said, because I
- 39:47just don't see it. I don't see anyone will be with me. I
- 39:52don't see why people, you know, because she said, I learned from
- 39:55my history, but nobody really wanted me. And I really think that's the
- 39:59meado in us. It's almost like we're closing that door for us, assuming
- 40:04that nothing can happen based on our history alone. And I think the so
- 40:09called Athena's shiny mirror, it's about we have to look at ourselves sometimes.
- 40:15I tell my clients literally look into the mirror every morning, and so that
- 40:19sometimes you look at yourself, you realize that I don't want to you know,
- 40:22I don't want to be like this, I don't want to live like
- 40:24this, and I don't want to tell myself these kind of things. And
- 40:28so I really think mirror could be used as a very good tool for our
- 40:30self reflection. Yeah, especially if we don't see snakes in our hair.
- 40:35Right. Yeah. My guest is lettal Wang. His book is called The
- 40:40Oracle of the Mythic Heroes, and the cards within it are absolutely beautiful.
- 40:45We'll be back with more after these words on the Own Times Radio network.

- 41:45Eastern on Old Times Radio back on Destination Unlimited. My guess this week is
- 42:00Ladao Wang, the creator of the Oracle of the mythic heroes. Ladell tell
- 42:06us about Psyche and the message that she brings. Psyche comes from a very
- 42:14interesting story. And this is a story loved by many many people because this
- 42:17is a love story and it has a beautiful ending. So Psyche in the
- 42:22story and she fell in love with God of God of Love, Erros or
- 42:28some sometimes people know this god more as a cubit right. So the love
- 42:32Angel the son of every deity or Venus, and her journey in this story
- 42:38has is very eventful because Ephydity, the mother of Eras, was very much
- 42:45against this union, and so Psyche has to go through all the trials and
- 42:51tribulations in order to prove her love towards Eros, and eventually the story had
- 42:58a beautiful ending. The last task that Aphrodite Gate to Uh Psyche and was
- 43:06to go down to the underworld to faith, you know, because underworld is
- 43:10where dead people go to and generally speaking, mortals are not allowed to enter
- 43:16the rim of the underworld. There is for example, the Three has dog
- 43:22a servers guarding the door the gate of the underworld, and it's deep,
- 43:27and it's dark, and it's scary, right, and there are souls,
- 43:30you know, floating around. So for Psyche, a young girl, a
- 43:34mortal girl, to descend into the underworld, it requires her to forfeit a
- 43:38lot of the things. And so this whole journey is about her her own
- 43:45transformation, how she left uh from a girl, she became a goddess through
- 43:52this journey, and how she Uh you know, through her own transformation,
- 43:57achieved her goal to be with arrows. There's only also one more thing that
- 44:01I want to share about Psyche. I think she's very interesting because psyche actually
- 44:07is in ancient Greek language, it means our soul, and so it's it's
- 44:15almost like, you know, this transformation journey for Psyche is also about finding
- 44:19her soul, finding who she really is. And so when a client puts
- 44:24out this card, and I really think that what the client is going through
- 44:28is an eventful period of time, maybe they also need to descend into their
- 44:31own the soul called underworld for their own transformation, so that they will be
- 44:36able to come out and finish their transformation from let's say, immortal girl to
- 44:42a god is out of these cards bridge our relationship between our physical being and
- 44:50intuitive selves. Well, I think each card in an oracle of the mythic
- 44:57heroes serves as a powerful, yeah, powerful bridge between our sides, uh,
- 45:05you know, our physical being and our intuitive self. This allows us
- 45:08to tap into the unseen wisdom of the universe. They stimulate our subconscious mind.
- 45:16They they bring forth insights and a guidance often overlooked in our daily lives.
- 45:24And by posing questions to the oracle cards and interpreting the symbolic messages of
- 45:30each card that we draw, we engage in a dynamic conversation with our inner
- 45:37selves. Actually, and this can also spark and exploration of our deepest thoughts
- 45:43and feelings. This helps us to cultivate a stronger alignment I think, between
- 45:50our physical actions and our intuitive guidance, fostering personal growth and our self awareness.
- 45:59One of the practice I always tell my clients to do is a daily
- 46:04card role, because cultivating this habit can prove to be a transform transformative practice.
- 46:13There's a powerful means to self discovery and enlightenment, offering us daily guidance
- 46:17and insights. Sometimes it doesn't does not have to be about something really grand,
- 46:22but that one message or that on that one card could really change the
- 46:29way we deal with our daily activities. Uh and I think this can really
- 46:32help us to either avoid making certain mistakes. Sometimes it just gives us more
- 46:40confidence, and it gives us more It gives us a more positive attitude towards
- 46:46our our daily operation. We had touched upon earlier how the position of the
- 46:53moon in our birth charts affects us, but how the lunar cycles and the
- 46:58moon spaces affect us on a regular basis. So the moon's movement the lunar
- 47:06cycle actually has been studied by many many astrologers and one of my favorite astrologers,
- 47:12and unfortunately she already passed away many years ago. I wrote a book
- 47:16about the lunar cycle, right, and her name I remember her name was
- 47:22James Spiller. I was really fascinated by his book. So when we look
- 47:28at the lunar journey, right, we know the moon goes around the Earth
- 47:32around let's say twenty eight to let's say twenty nine days, thirty days,
- 47:37and this thirty days journey or twenty eight days journey. The moon will start
- 47:43from its new moon face, which is a dark moon. That's the time
- 47:47when the moon is having a conjunction with the sun, and slowly we're seeing
- 47:52a crescent and within the half moon. And then fourteen days later we achieved
- 47:57the woman in the sky. And each moonface represents they have different let's say,
- 48:05spiritual meanings. The new moon is the birth of a newman cycle in
- 48:08a specific constellation sign. That's the reason why we sometimes hear terms like new
- 48:15moon in areas right, new moon in Porous, or new moon in Gemini,
- 48:20things like that. And each month we have this new moon and when
- 48:22the moon starts, it's it's a journey in its own lunar cycle. It's
- 48:28a refreshment. It represents the starting point of something, and you know when
- 48:32we need to grow something, and so it's always encouraged for us to make
- 48:37wishes on New moon day, right, so when the moon is still new
- 48:44and refreshed and fragile, and when fourteen days later the moon becomes full and
- 48:49that's the culmination of the lunar cycle, and that's a time for reflection because
- 48:53a fullman literally looks like a bright, shiny mirror to us. And so
- 48:59what we ref left. Then we also have to look as the constellation sign
- 49:02that the woman is in. Sometimes we also hear terms such as foreman in
- 49:08Libra where women in scorpio, and depending on the sign the woman is,
- 49:14and we gain some type of insights about what this woman needs us to reflect
- 49:17or balance. You share that there are cosmic laws and universal regularities. How
- 49:25may we embrace these and lead the lives that we were born for. I
- 49:31think it's really about the so called synchronisity synchronicitis right that we we talked about
- 49:38earlier. I think the so called cosmic regularities is about learning how to move
- 49:45work together with the stars. Sometimes it doesn't even have to be about the
- 49:49stars, to be honest, I think a lot of things in our lives
- 49:52are all synchronized together. Uh. This could be as simple as you walk
- 49:57down the street and you see sometimes you know, we see numbers on the
- 50:00street. Let's say you know, a triple three, right, or a
- 50:05four to ones. You know, things like that. And I think it's
- 50:07about us constantly being aware of the messages that are around us and giving us
- 50:15time to reflect on what these signs and what Sometimes, if you study astrologist,
- 50:21could also be about you observing the movement of the planet and sometimes just
- 50:27to remind ourselves that what does that mean to me? Right when when a
- 50:30certain planet is moving to a certain position, forming a certain aspect with a
- 50:35different planet. And this is how we learn to live together with the synchronicity
- 50:43worth the cosmic regularity, I think, and a lot of the times,
- 50:46you know, for example, in the ancient days, right, that's what
- 50:49humans used to do. We didn't have those, you know, skyscrapers.
- 50:53The sky was clear, nothing was blocking our view. So our ancestors was
- 50:58watching the stars every day, every night. You know, everything is just
- 51:01in front of us. Now, you know, we live in twenty twenty
- 51:05four. We have so many things to look at and so we don't really
- 51:09you know, when was the last time, you know, you raise your
- 51:12head and you were thinking, Okay, I wonder where Jupiter is. You
- 51:15know, nowadays we don't do that enough. And so I think it's more
- 51:20about bringing the awareness of observation of our universe and observing, you know,
- 51:27just generous being the world around us to find that synchronicity. You've said,
- 51:31and I quote, the universe needs a humanity that is harmonious and has a
- 51:37strong sense of unity. We are all in this together and we can overcome
- 51:44any challenge. What would you offer those who are worried about the state of
- 51:47humanity and the challenging and often heart wrenching events that we're all experiencing. So
- 51:55so you know, on the back of the book right the guide book of
- 52:00or called the Mystic Heroes, this is what I wrote. I said,
- 52:02No heroes are perfect, neither are they utterly invincible. In the myth,
- 52:07they love, they hate, they struggle, they fail, and they rise
- 52:12again together with the cosmic way of Writune. And I think this is what
- 52:16it is. Sometimes when we look at the world, the real world around
- 52:21us, we can all be a little bit disillusioned because we see the heart
- 52:23wrenching news. We see what is happening, you know, around us,
- 52:29and more often than now, it upsets us, right, whether that's political
- 52:34news or let's say, related to families, you know, relationships. Sometimes
- 52:42we also hear these kind of stories from our friends and families, and we
- 52:45wonder, what is this world about, you know, aren't we supposed to
- 52:52live harmoniously and happily together. And I really feel that perhaps at this moment,
- 52:57we are still learning what I said at the very beginning of our interview,
- 53:02we're still learning the lessons our ancestors were learning, because after thousands of
- 53:07years, we're still making the same mistakes. And this is in a good
- 53:12way. It's about there are still things for us to learn, and there
- 53:15are still things for us to to understand what works for humanity and what doesn't.
- 53:22And I think if each one of us could look at this in a
- 53:28more rational and logical way, we would be able to overcome a lot of
- 53:34the the the let's say, challenges which are not necessarily which were not really
- 53:42necessary to us, to be honest, because a lot of the lessons we
- 53:44didn't we didn't really need to learn them. So many times I think,
- 53:46yeah, but we're still learning them and so right, so we can overcome
- 53:52them if we can really look at this from a rational perspective rather than only
- 53:58looking at what we desire, on what is best for us. And now,
- 54:00I have to to be honest, a lot of the political news in
- 54:04Asia, right, you know, the issues. I'm not gonna name the
- 54:07countries, right, so you know, Okay, this is my island,
- 54:09this is my territory, right, this is your territory, things like that.
- 54:13But sometimes I look at you know, I watch these news and thinking,
- 54:15but you know, from the perspective of our universe, we're just all
- 54:20living on this small blue ball floating in the nowhere in the universe, and
- 54:24we're fighting about bad land. I think probably aliens are laughing at us,
- 54:30you know that, literally, I really feel like that, the aliens thinking.
- 54:32You know, it's almost us watching two three year old kids fighting over
- 54:37an apple. Right, so we're gonna think, you know, yeah,
- 54:39right, okay, well whatever, right, you know who's apple? Who
- 54:43cares? Nobody gives it, you know, cares about that. But somehow,
- 54:46for us it's so important. This island is mine. You cannot send
- 54:51your military there. This is my territory. Right, and this is my
- 54:53country. You belong to us, You know that kind of mentality. But
- 54:58when we really look at the view from our universe, the whole earth is
- 55:01a fast floating in the nowhere, and so what are we fighting for?
- 55:07So I think if all of us can really look at life from this perspective,
- 55:10probably will feel less selfish. Absolutely, My guest Letta Wang, has
- 55:15new creation, the Oracle of the Mythic Heroes, one more time. Please
