Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Great to be with you for the third and final hour,
- 0:07Speaker 1: at least for today of the Morning Show with Preston Scott.
- 0:10Speaker 1: He is Jose for one more hour and one more show,
- 0:15Speaker 1: and then after that he's no longer Jose. No, I'm
- 0:18Speaker 1: just kidding. He's no longer part of the program. He's
- 0:22Speaker 1: saying goodbye tomorrow. So make sure that you listen in
- 0:25Speaker 1: tomorrow and make sure you send your kind notes and
- 0:29Speaker 1: place your kind phone calls to Jose. But we are
- 0:35Speaker 1: joined by a friend of the program, long time friend
- 0:39Speaker 1: of the program, and a longtime friend of mine. My
- 0:43Speaker 1: wife and I love this man as a son. He
- 0:45Speaker 1: is Jerome Hudson. He's the entertainment editor at Breitbart dot Com.
- 0:49Speaker 1: He is the author of the fifty Things books, Fifty
- 0:51Speaker 1: Things they Don't Want You to Know and fifty Things
- 0:54Speaker 1: they Don't Want You to Know about Trump. How are you, sir, Oh.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I'm terrific, just just terrific, just a beautiful, majestic day
- 1:06Speaker 2: here in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. I'm blessed. Thank you.
- 1:13Speaker 1: How are you processing what's happening in our country? And
- 1:17Speaker 1: let me first ask you, and I'll get to an
- 1:20Speaker 1: entertainment question later on, if we've got time. But how
- 1:25Speaker 1: are you processing the incursions that socialism is making in
- 1:29Speaker 1: our nation?
- 1:32Speaker 2: I did with two minds. I guess double consciousness if
- 1:36Speaker 2: you will. For a long time. You know, I've worked
- 1:43Speaker 2: in media and news and given speeches and people will
- 1:49Speaker 2: comment on stories that will report at Breitbart or you know,
- 1:53Speaker 2: I'll be hosting radio and people will call in and
- 1:59Speaker 2: the terms socialism and you know, Obama's communists, and you
- 2:04Speaker 2: hear all this stuff, but really the Democrat Party never
- 2:07Speaker 2: embraced socialism, right, and so to have a party the
- 2:14Speaker 2: Democratic Socialists of America release a platform calling for the
- 2:20Speaker 2: annihilation of borders, and the United States Senate and the
- 2:25Speaker 2: presidency and so on and so forth. One one, one
- 2:31Speaker 2: part of my brain is is welcoming this, this this
- 2:35Speaker 2: debate right on the grand scale. They're being open and
- 2:41Speaker 2: intellectually honest about it. They are they are for socialism.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Some of their leaders are you know, openly admit that
- 2:51Speaker 2: they want communism. And then the other side of my
- 2:54Speaker 2: brain hates it because it is so antithetical to everything
- 2:58Speaker 2: that made this country as great as it is. It
- 3:03Speaker 2: is why so many people, you know, we live in Florida,
- 3:07Speaker 2: there are lots of Venezuelans here. There are lots of
- 3:10Speaker 2: Cubans here. There are lots of refugees from countries that
- 3:15Speaker 2: instituted the very evil and backwards ideology and policy that
- 3:21Speaker 2: these people claim to want to establish here in the
- 3:26Speaker 2: United States. And so you know, it's it's just I
- 3:30Speaker 2: think it's just another trial. Like if you are a
- 3:33Speaker 2: patriot who loves the Constitution, understands its importance in the
- 3:37Speaker 2: world as the backbone and bedrock of this country, you know,
- 3:44Speaker 2: we have to evangelize because these people have been led
- 3:49Speaker 2: down the wrong road. Many of them are frankly trust
- 3:53Speaker 2: fund kids. They've they've they've never really wanted for anything.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I mean, if you if you really just dig into
- 4:00Speaker 2: the leadership of the Democratic Socialists, you know it's that
- 4:05Speaker 2: it's almost like they're just playing out, you know, daddy
- 4:09Speaker 2: issues or something on the public stage.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm curious, are we reaping what we didn't sew?
- 4:20Speaker 1: You know, if you don't sow seed in the field,
- 4:23Speaker 1: weeds grow. And we did not sow in the in
- 4:26Speaker 1: the soil of education. For a couple of generations, we
- 4:31Speaker 1: didn't sew an understanding and knowledge of socialism, communism and Marxism.
- 4:35Speaker 1: And so are we now just reaping the weeds that
- 4:37Speaker 1: come as a result of the lack of sewing properly.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know who the we is there, but
- 4:44Speaker 2: you know the origin of this, you know, And I
- 4:48Speaker 2: don't think you can understate this enough. Is the Democratic
- 4:51Speaker 2: Party establishment pulling the rug from under Bernie Sanders's feet
- 4:56Speaker 2: when he was on his way to capturing the presidential
- 4:58Speaker 2: nomination in twenty six teen. And so Bernie Sanders has
- 5:03Speaker 2: never really taken on any fire, even when he was
- 5:07Speaker 2: leading in that primary, that Democrat primary in twenty sixteen,
- 5:11Speaker 2: he was never really asked, you know, about why he
- 5:14Speaker 2: honeymooned in communist countries or why he has espoused you know,
- 5:20Speaker 2: socialist you know ideologies, right, and why in twenty fifteen
- 5:28Speaker 2: he was traveling the country as he was gearing up
- 5:30Speaker 2: to run for president talking about how, you know, allowing
- 5:37Speaker 2: large amounts of people into the country depresses the wages
- 5:41Speaker 2: of Americans, right in his flip flops on immigration policy.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And so never challenging or never having a media mass
- 5:49Speaker 2: media that challenged people sort of the godfather of this
- 5:53Speaker 2: socialist movement, like Bernie Sanders, I mean surprise, surprise, the
- 5:57Speaker 2: media didn't hold a politician to the fire. Is a
- 6:02Speaker 2: massive part of this.
- 6:06Speaker 1: With Jerome Hudson, we're talking about the infatuation with socialism.
- 6:10Speaker 1: It's impacting communities large and small. They've been very strategic
- 6:14Speaker 1: picking off districts with low voter turnout where they can
- 6:18Speaker 1: motivate and and generate support and know that if they
- 6:24Speaker 1: just get their people out, they have a good shot
- 6:26Speaker 1: at winning Jerome. Have Democrats at large been bullied into this?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Are they fearful or is this kind of where they
- 6:34Speaker 1: were all along?
- 6:35Speaker 2: It's a gumbo of all three, Okay, all three. If
- 6:41Speaker 2: I've learned anything in all of my time working for
- 6:43Speaker 2: Peter Sweitzer investigating corruption in the federal government among the buiocracy,
- 6:50Speaker 2: you know, helping out on campaigns, reading, studying, praying over
- 6:58Speaker 2: this stuff, it's politicians. Most of them want to continue
- 7:04Speaker 2: to stay in office and so on a guttural level,
- 7:08Speaker 2: if you're haiking Jeffries or Chuck Schumer, you know, the
- 7:13Speaker 2: leaders of the Senate and the House and the Senate respectively,
- 7:18Speaker 2: you just want to remain in power, right, Chuck Schumer
- 7:22Speaker 2: is known that Alexander Consolo Cortez to your point. You know,
- 7:28Speaker 2: wan a congressional seat by taking on an incumbent who
- 7:33Speaker 2: had been in office for nearly twenty years, but doing
- 7:36Speaker 2: so by winning, you know, just a few tens of
- 7:39Speaker 2: thousands of votes. And so Chuck Schumer has I mean,
- 7:43Speaker 2: he's canceled book tours. He did it last year. You know,
- 7:47Speaker 2: it came and it went. But he's Chuck Schumer faced
- 7:51Speaker 2: the wrath of this socialist far left movement within his
- 7:55Speaker 2: own party, and so he's kowtowed and he's negotiated and
- 7:58Speaker 2: he's bargained, and he's only done it because I think
- 8:02Speaker 2: Chuck Schumer just wants to die in office, no different
- 8:05Speaker 2: from Mitch McConnell like world, you know. And so yes,
- 8:11Speaker 2: now there is a brewing civil war within the DNC.
- 8:15Speaker 2: We don't really talk about it. It's not it doesn't
- 8:18Speaker 2: even really make the top ten of the biggest political
- 8:22Speaker 2: news discussions in the country. But the DNC is like moved,
- 8:26Speaker 2: it's it's it's presidential primary states completely, like it's no
- 8:31Speaker 2: longer in New Hampshire, New Hampshire, Iowa. It's you know,
- 8:35Speaker 2: it's South Carolina, and then Nevada and then Michigan and
- 8:40Speaker 2: so on. And so forth, and and so that the
- 8:42Speaker 2: establishment of the DNC is trying to circumvent the socialist uprising.
- 8:49Speaker 2: That it sees again to your point, they are they
- 8:54Speaker 2: are running in races that they feel like they can
- 8:56Speaker 2: take advantage of that. We have a woman here who
- 8:59Speaker 2: is now the Democrat Senate nominee in Florida. You know,
- 9:05Speaker 2: I don't know how they're going to explain away her
- 9:08Speaker 2: getting less than twenty percent of the vote, which is
- 9:12Speaker 2: my prediction. Maybe that's a little high, but there will
- 9:16Speaker 2: be there will be like like Chuck Nummer is going
- 9:19Speaker 2: to have to answer for it, but he's not going
- 9:20Speaker 2: to be grilled about it, and he's going to tiptoe
- 9:24Speaker 2: around the issue. You see Hackeen Jeffrey's doing the same thing.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, they just want to They just want to stand power.
- 9:28Speaker 2: They want to be relevant, and and they will. They
- 9:32Speaker 2: will be as milable as they have to be to
- 9:36Speaker 2: go along to get along.
- 9:38Speaker 1: All Right, Jerome, standby when we come back. I'm gonna
- 9:41Speaker 1: get Jerome Hudson a way in on maybe the biggest
- 9:44Speaker 1: topic we've been discussing of late here on the Morning
- 9:47Speaker 1: Show with Preston Scott. So stay with us, because I
- 9:55Speaker 1: love this man, and I mean that in the sincerity
- 9:59Speaker 1: of the world, not just falleo as in friendship, but agape,
- 10:04Speaker 1: as in Christian love. I warned Jerome what I was
- 10:08Speaker 1: going to ask him. The expansion and the inroads Islam
- 10:14Speaker 1: is making in this country, and my growing thought that
- 10:21Speaker 1: Islam should not be qualified as a religion and should
- 10:24Speaker 1: be stripped of its protections and should be treated as such.
- 10:28Speaker 1: It is not a religion.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I did. The first thing my mind went is
- 10:33Speaker 2: because you and I have actually had a part of
- 10:36Speaker 2: this conversation on the air before Congress shall make no
- 10:39Speaker 2: law respecting an establishment of religion. That part of the
- 10:43Speaker 2: First Amendment, I believe is absolutely bastard by bastardized and
- 10:49Speaker 2: blown up by Islam. The core tenet of it is
- 10:55Speaker 2: you have a right in America, as a United States
- 10:58Speaker 2: citizen to to hold a faith and to live out
- 11:02Speaker 2: your faith. And I think that Islam is as you
- 11:06Speaker 2: just described, and I'm sure your audience has heard you
- 11:09Speaker 2: say and make points that Islam just you can't coexist
- 11:16Speaker 2: with that right because you have to convert, right, and
- 11:21Speaker 2: all who are not converted are infidels and are subject
- 11:25Speaker 2: to death. Now you know, people throw out the term
- 11:29Speaker 2: moderate Muslim, and I think it's a misnomer. I think
- 11:32Speaker 2: it's a red herring. The driving force behind all of
- 11:39Speaker 2: the important conversations that are being had and the news items,
- 11:44Speaker 2: the incursions, the conflagrations, they have nothing to do with
- 11:49Speaker 2: moderate Muslims. It has everything to do with leaders in
- 11:53Speaker 2: the Islamic Church, whether it is that goofy Ferricon up
- 11:58Speaker 2: in Illinois way, or the Mullahs in Iran in it
- 12:04Speaker 2: and and so yes, so to see Islam rooting itself,
- 12:11Speaker 2: I guess you know, I'll say, into into Texas, one
- 12:15Speaker 2: of maybe the deepest, reddest, most Christian and you'd think
- 12:20Speaker 2: constitutionally sound states in America is very worrisome. And now
- 12:26Speaker 2: we're seeing Governor Abbott have battles openly about foot washing
- 12:33Speaker 2: stations and you know, tax subsidized airports. I think you're
- 12:39Speaker 2: I think you're onto something and and I love you
- 12:42Speaker 2: for dragging I guess us into a conversation that the
- 12:51Speaker 2: reality on the ground has been happening for a very
- 12:54Speaker 2: long time. I think you just look at the number
- 12:57Speaker 2: of mosques in this country, say today as opposed to
- 13:01Speaker 2: twenty five years ago, after nine to eleven the number
- 13:06Speaker 2: of people who practice the Muslim faith who are in
- 13:08Speaker 2: this country on some sort of protected status or other
- 13:14Speaker 2: visa or immigration program. And yeah, I mean it's just
- 13:19Speaker 2: one plus one is two. Like you just go through
- 13:21Speaker 2: the text. They, like most other major religions in the world,
- 13:26Speaker 2: have a commission to spread their faith around the world.
- 13:29Speaker 2: And they kind of do it with you know, suicide
- 13:32Speaker 2: bombs and machetes and rocket launches and IDs. It is
- 13:37Speaker 2: just a reality. And some people might be recoiling hearing that,
- 13:41Speaker 2: but it is a warrior religion. If you read anyone
- 13:47Speaker 2: who studied it, or you read the text yourself, it
- 13:51Speaker 2: is It's undeniable. But anyway, I love it. I think
- 13:57Speaker 2: that we will see more politicians and running for statewide
- 14:01Speaker 2: office for federal office. Brandon Gill has introduced legislation I
- 14:10Speaker 2: believe to this effect in others. I don't know where
- 14:15Speaker 2: it goes, you know, at the at the end of
- 14:19Speaker 2: the day, but it is going to come to a
- 14:23Speaker 2: head for sure.
- 14:24Speaker 1: What are your thoughts on the on the motorcycle rally
- 14:28Speaker 1: in Dearborn.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I'm largely unfamiliar with it.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Although a bunch of American vets, a bunch of American
- 14:36Speaker 1: Vets Patriots by the tens of thousands, rode motorcycles into Dearborn,
- 14:41Speaker 1: Michigan and set up about one hundred and fifty pig barbecues.
- 14:47Speaker 1: And it happened. It happened this week.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Oh boy, how did I miss that one?
- 14:52Speaker 1: I love brother, Look that bad boy up on your
- 14:55Speaker 1: social media feeds and you will be treated for the day.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah, I've been. I've been inundated with the passing of
- 15:02Speaker 2: this actress, a thirty six year old hate peneteer. It's amazing.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I'm trying to wrap my brain around it. Uh. Dearborn
- 15:12Speaker 2: Michigan one of the most probably the most populated by density.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Uh ground zero, ground zero.
- 15:20Speaker 2: In the country with Muslims. Now, I just want barbecue.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Good lord, you're welcome.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Mike Rogers versus L said, you get again a state
- 15:34Speaker 2: righte statewide election race. And L said, is you know,
- 15:38Speaker 2: probably a fablist when it comes to his medical background
- 15:44Speaker 2: and he wants to you know, medicare for all, and
- 15:46Speaker 2: you know he's he's espoused abolishing the police and heights
- 15:51Speaker 2: and all of that stuff, but he is you strip
- 15:54Speaker 2: all of that away, and you know, an avowed Muslim,
- 16:00Speaker 2: And yeah, it's h yeah, it's it's the immigration though,
- 16:04Speaker 2: it's the immigration policy. You know, we should have instituted
- 16:09Speaker 2: a moratorium on all immigration. Let's see a year and
- 16:14Speaker 2: what are we eight nine months ago? Because you just
- 16:19Speaker 2: have to stop. You have to control, right the spigot. Yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 2: so you cut it off. It's what is it like?
- 16:25Speaker 2: That's what a plumber does to stop the leak first
- 16:29Speaker 2: and then figure out all the problems next, stop.
- 16:32Speaker 1: The leak and then bail the water. That's exactly what
- 16:34Speaker 1: they should have done at that Titanic, and it didn't
- 16:37Speaker 1: didn't happen. So brother, thanks for the time, Thanks for
- 16:41Speaker 1: the time. We gotta go.
- 16:43Speaker 2: I love you.
- 16:44Speaker 1: I love you too, buddy. All right, Jerome Hudson with
- 16:46Speaker 1: us this morning Morning Show with Preston Scott
