- 0:19Hey, friends.
- 0:20God bless you.
- 0:21Thank you for listening, watching, thank you for sharing the podcast.
- 0:26Before we get into the topics today, and where there's many important topics with our
- 0:29guest, Cheryl Chumley of the Washington Times, I want to just shout out to some states
- 0:35since it'll take a while to read the names.
- 0:36We're just going to go down the list of recent donors.
- 0:40Thank you for praying and thank you for supporting World View Matters.
- 0:43We just heard from Minnesota, again, a different person actually, Nevada, Maryland, Ohio,
- 0:49of course, Wisconsin, California, Wyoming, Washington, New York, Georgia, Nebraska,
- 0:55South Dakota, Virginia, South Carolina, and Iowa.
- 1:00My question is, where's Texas?
- 1:02Come on, we've been at this for what, you know, six months?
- 1:06Where's Texas?
- 1:07Anyway, we know we have listeners, there are viewers.
- 1:09But thanks for your time.
- 1:10Guys, Cheryl Chumley is with a, she's an online opinion editor and commentary writer and
- 1:16host of the Bold and Blunt podcast for the Washington Times.
- 1:21She's a frequent media guest and public speaker.
- 1:24The author of several books, we're going to talk about those, at least one of the recent
- 1:28books, Lockdown, you can email her, see Chumley at Washington Times.com, on Twitter,
- 1:35at CKChumley.
- 1:38And her recent books going back to three books ago, Police State, USA, the one before the
- 1:46recent one, Socialists don't sleep.
- 1:49Christians must rise or America will fall.
- 1:53And the recent book we'll talk a little about right now, Lockdown, the Socialist plan
- 1:57to take away your freedom.
- 2:00Cheryl Chumley, welcome to World View Matters.
- 2:02Thanks for your time today.
- 2:03It's great to be with you.
- 2:05Thank you for having me.
- 2:07You're most welcome.
- 2:08It's good to connect here.
- 2:09We did on the audio radio before, but it's good to see you.
- 2:12I love doing this format where I can see people have them explain what I've been doing.
- 2:16I've been asking people to share with our audience, but let's start with a lockdown.
- 2:21There's a theme in your books, you know, Government Power, Government Control, Socialism.
- 2:26But the most recent one, Lockdown, there is a Socialist plan, and just share a little
- 2:30bit about that.
- 2:31And of course, they can get on an Amazon, share a little bit about Lockdown, please.
- 2:36So I wrote Lockdown early on in the coronavirus crazy in this nation when I saw that the
- 2:41government was using the fear to justify seizing individual liberties, and I was alarmed.
- 2:48And so I started researching it.
- 2:50I wrote it.
- 2:51It came out in 2021.
- 2:54It was supposed to have come out even earlier, but because of all the coronavirus slowdowns
- 2:59on things that got delayed.
- 3:02But I give a look back on how we went through the loss of individual liberties in this
- 3:07country.
- 3:08And I'm going to go to the court and lay for now, I give a look going forward.
- 3:12How the globalists, the leftists, the Marxists, and all those who do not cherish individual
- 3:18freedom in America are seeking to platform into the next lockdown, into the next seizures
- 3:25of liberties.
- 3:26And believe me, it's coming soon.
- 3:28And that's what I detail in lockdown.
- 3:30Man, after we saw what the government did and the power grabs in these last three plus
- 3:36years, it's like, what?
- 3:38What else are they going to try to get away with?
- 3:40And we've got to be ready next time because there will be a next time.
- 3:44What are your thoughts on the next steps?
- 3:46Amy, we have an election coming up later this year.
- 3:50What are they going to try to pull out of the hat and use the emergency powers?
- 3:54Are they going to blame it on January 6?
- 3:56Are they going to blame it on some new virus?
- 3:58What are your thoughts?
- 4:00So really, my thoughts come from just going to the websites where these people speak
- 4:06about their plans or what they want to do next.
- 4:09And the big vision of, say, the world economic foreign people, the Klaus Schwab, great reset
- 4:17type of people is to take the coronavirus and segue into climate change because they've
- 4:23already made the link between viruses that kill people and the failure of governments
- 4:30to address climate change and to clamp down on freedoms based on emissions and so forth.
- 4:37The logic is they say that if people start building houses, for instance, in too many
- 4:43places that are currently forested, the animals living in these forests will live closer to
- 4:48humans, bringing with them their diseases.
- 4:52These diseases will pass on to humans and people will die, people will die, people will
- 4:56die.
- 4:57You can see how they're making the connection with climate change already.
- 5:02And they are absolutely, and that's a demonic movement.
- 5:05It's like, okay, people are the problem, human beings are the problem.
- 5:08Anyway, we can talk about that another time.
- 5:11But I want to ask, where can people get your podcast, Bold and Blunt?
- 5:15It is at washingtontimes.com.
- 5:18It's anywhere podcasts are offer, but you can subscribe to it directly at washington.com.
- 5:23Thank you.
- 5:24So you're very welcome.
- 5:26Before we get to you, a recent article of yours, Democrats rushing to destroy America
- 5:31before Trump to TWO, Cheryl, you've been writing about these topics for many, many years.
- 5:39How do you decide what topic to tackle, I mean, from week to week, because there's so much
- 5:45going on, so many angles to look at, and there's so much you could write about.
- 5:50My worldview is very simple.
- 5:52It's Christian and conservative.
- 5:55So I read my Bible every day, and I'm aware and have read the Constitution.
- 6:00And I take that viewpoint when I approach any issue I cover.
- 6:04So as I'm reading the news, or I'm deciding what to write about that day, it's very easy
- 6:09to get my passions generated because there's so much that goes on that violates both those
- 6:15viewpoints.
- 6:16And seen as that is the foundation of America, right, Christian conservatism.
- 6:21It's actually picking which one, not finding one to pick.
- 6:27So one of the ones before we get to the article I just teased, there's one I want to ask
- 6:31you about.
- 6:32I get your email updates, and one of them says, I'm bold and blunt, deaths due to COVID shots.
- 6:39Yes, it's real.
- 6:41The media is not covering it.
- 6:42We've seen, while those of us who are looking for information, researching informed, we've
- 6:47seen videos of young athletes in their 20s having heart attacks and myocarditis is a problem.
- 6:54That's another article you did, the COVID shot shows Mo, myocarditis.
- 7:00So I'd love for you to share a little bit more about that.
- 7:01You mentioned Senator Ron Johnson giving the latest data on and these agencies that are
- 7:06stonewalling him.
- 7:08So condense this for us.
- 7:10So Senator Ron Johnson was on my podcast and he has been one of the very few on Capitol
- 7:17Hill who has tried to track down the actual truthful data about the impacts of these
- 7:22COVID shots.
- 7:23And I purposely say shots because they are not vaccines or vaccinations, you know, red
- 7:29flag back when the government changed the definition of vaccine and vaccination to accommodate
- 7:35the failure of these shots to stop people from getting COVID.
- 7:38So that was red flag number one, but he's been trying to sift through myth through versus
- 7:44reality and find out how many people are getting harmed by this.
- 7:48And if you look, I don't have the numbers right up the top of my head, but let me just
- 7:51say that Senator Ron Johnson and his staff have found based on the government's own data,
- 7:56the VAERS data, that the health issues due to these COVID shots, in many cases mandated
- 8:03to remember far and away, outweigh all the health impacts from every other shot that
- 8:09Americans have been given as part of their vaccination process.
- 8:13When you compare to the flu shots, it's so far and be away, the health impacts, negative
- 8:20ones from the COVID shots than even the flu shots.
- 8:23So it's really something as you're told to take the next booster, you know, think twice,
- 8:29think three times even.
- 8:31By the way, you mentioned VAERS.
- 8:32I want to make sure people know because a lot of people are still finding out about these
- 8:35things.
- 8:36There's a website called open VAERS.com right now.
- 8:39It's 2.5 some million reports of vaccine adverse events.
- 8:47Cheryl, I've heard that is under reported on that site.
- 8:50How does information get to open VAERS.com?
- 8:54So you as an individual can go and report, but it's the they think it's under reported
- 9:00because it's difficult for the average person to navigate and not all the drop downs provide
- 9:06all the various issues that you as an individual might want to click on.
- 9:10So it's a little bit difficult to navigate as I understand it.
- 9:14Okay, let's go to your article that I mentioned because I don't want to miss out on that.
- 9:20I do want to talk about DEI too.
- 9:21We've been talking a lot about DEI, the Marxist roots of DEI, diversity, equity, inclusion,
- 9:28but we teased this one.
- 9:29I love the title and I read it and you've got some good information in there.
- 9:32I like the way you write, too, when you were going, hurry, hurry, hurry.
- 9:37Democrats rushing to destroy America before Trump, too.
- 9:40So Trump, too, meaning assuming he's going to get the Republican nomination, assuming
- 9:46that he may actually have a chance, a fair chance to win the election.
- 9:51Cheryl, Chumley explained to us why they seem to be in such a hurry to pass as much legislation,
- 9:57as you say, policy and regulations that will kill America's economy and constitution
- 10:03before the 2024 election.
- 10:07So if you look at why the globalists in the leftists hate Donald Trump, it's because first
- 10:12and foremost, he takes border control seriously and as a side issue from that law in order
- 10:19in America, crime in the streets, crime in communities.
- 10:22And second off, he is very in tune with the dangers of the globalist governments being
- 10:29able to trickle and flow their anti-American agenda into this nation.
- 10:35They've been busily doing that under Joe Biden, who is basically an open door for the
- 10:43World Economic Forum, a health organization in UN agenda to come in.
- 10:47When Donald Trump, if he does come back and take over the White House, one of the first
- 10:52things he's going to do is stand strong to these globalist forces and put a stop to much
- 10:57of the funding that goes into these agencies while simultaneously cracking down immediately
- 11:03on the borders and even implementing deportation sweeps throughout America like he did the first
- 11:10time in office.
- 11:11So he did that.
- 11:12He has a proven record of already doing that.
- 11:14And this time around, I think he's going to do it on steroids.
- 11:18I hope so.
- 11:19I think a lot of people are, I don't know, we're trying to be optimistic, but because of
- 11:24the voter fraud and what we saw the last election on massive scales, just a corruption, we're
- 11:31kind of going, okay, we're a little reserved, we're not as enthusiastic, but boy, we need
- 11:35a lot of help here because it seems like what they're doing is they're dismantling America
- 11:39on purpose.
- 11:40And that is just the opposite of their world economic form slogan, Build Back Better,
- 11:45which Biden used when he was campaigning.
- 11:48That was, I saw slogans behind them, Build Back Better, and I'm going, boy, people just
- 11:52aren't connecting the dots.
- 11:54I know you write more about that in one of the headlines in your recent article says Biden
- 12:00administrations policies have fueled worst border crisis in U.S. history.
- 12:05And that was from apparently the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability.
- 12:10So there's that word that we rarely see accountability.
- 12:13Our Southern border, Cheryl, it's a mess.
- 12:16There's so many problems, whether it's drugs, human trafficking, illegal aliens, terrorists,
- 12:22your thoughts on that and what, why are they not held accountable for what's happening
- 12:27at the Southern border?
- 12:28Well, when you say they're not held accountable, the reason is because the media does a lot
- 12:34of covering for these globalists, these leftists, these open border advocates, right?
- 12:39So they don't have to face the PR firestorm that they would say if conservatives were trying
- 12:46to actually control the border.
- 12:48And as the note of optimism here, you asked my thoughts on it, there is a note of optimism.
- 12:53If you look at what just took place in New York City within the last couple of weeks and
- 12:57the public beat down of two police officers by thugs who are here illegally in America
- 13:03and being given entitlement pay by Americans, right, housed in a fed and so forth.
- 13:09And nothing was done.
- 13:11They were released on bail.
- 13:13The two officers were injured and then several of those thugs were just caught out of
- 13:17a state as they were headed to disappear into parts unknown either across the border or
- 13:22in California using fake names.
- 13:25That the note of optimism there is that even independent voters and Democrats, the same
- 13:30ones, the few sane ones who are still out there are sitting up and taking notice and
- 13:35saying, look, this border control situation is out of hand.
- 13:38And you are having Democrat politicians in some circles quietly, maybe not loudly, but
- 13:42at least they're talking about it, talking about having to crack down on borders and control
- 13:48borders.
- 13:49So the note of optimism is that hide is in the favor of those who value American sovereignty.
- 13:55I agree with you.
- 13:57I was just surprised to hear sane and Democrats using the same sentence, but we've got to
- 14:02use it sparingly.
- 14:03We've got to take a quick break over right back on World View Matters with Cheryl Chumley.
- 14:08Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily, the world news biblically understood,
- 14:14stay informed at harbingerstaley.com.
- 14:25Hey friends, if you're listening to our show via audio podcast from what I understand,
- 14:30you can help us by giving a five star review to help the show rise in the rankings.
- 14:34I guess that's how it works.
- 14:36And we're open to new sponsors.
- 14:37Obviously you just heard Harbinger's Daily.
- 14:39Thank you, the great website.
- 14:41Send us an email if you're interested in sponsoring the show worldviewmatters.tv.
- 14:46Cheryl Chumley, Washington Times is our guest and I'm glad you brought up the media.
- 14:53I've got a question about journalists.
- 14:55My eyes were opened wide when Sarah Palin was picked to be John McCain's running mate
- 15:04VP during that election cycle and the media assassinated her character, the attacker, they
- 15:10just, I mean, journalism completely died if it wasn't dead before then.
- 15:14I wanted to just get your take on this poll.
- 15:17We talked about this a month ago here, but over at Washington Times, it said only three
- 15:22point four percent of US journalists are Republicans.
- 15:27Now we know, Cheryl, this is a worldview issue again.
- 15:31Your thoughts on that.
- 15:32Can you give us any other, as any understanding on why that is?
- 15:35Well, my view of journalism was actually negative way before even John McCain and Sarah
- 15:41Palin because from the inside, I saw how the bias worked.
- 15:45I mean, I've been in journalism almost 30 years now and in newsrooms around the country,
- 15:50I can tell you there are some well-meaning people, very nice people to work with, but
- 15:54they live in a bubble and they think that advocacy journalism is the way to go.
- 16:00They think that pushing an agenda and going after what they view as the enemies of the democracy,
- 16:07which remember we don't have a democracy, we have a republic, that's a different topic,
- 16:11I suppose.
- 16:12But they think that their job is to defend the little guy and they see the little guy very
- 16:17often in terms of skin color or gender, which allows the left to get by with throwing down
- 16:23race cards and gender cards and getting a free pass in the media.
- 16:27And as you go up the chains in media, what you see is this sort of bubble growing larger
- 16:32where the journalists who are biased in favor of leftist policies are the ones who are
- 16:37rewarded.
- 16:38And you can see that by the caliber of the Pulitzer Prizes nowadays or other awards
- 16:43and recognitions that journalists get.
- 16:45So there are some well-meaning people, but they live in a bubble and the worldview of
- 16:51many journalists I know is secular and it's very progressive-minded, leftist and that
- 16:57automatically puts them on the side of reporting on the government's point of view when that
- 17:02government is Democrat-controlled.
- 17:03Yes, and for so many decades it seems like if you are a liberal or progressive Democrat,
- 17:10you're above the law where it's just the opposite of a Republican word to do the same
- 17:14thing.
- 17:15I mean, just one, this might be a great, perfect example, but Hunter Biden, if Donald
- 17:20Trump Jr. was found with his laptop, oh my goodness, I mean, completely different media
- 17:25reporting.
- 17:26In fact, that was one of the things that people were pulled on after the election and some
- 17:30Democrats said that if they had known that, it was actually a true story, they may have
- 17:38voted differently.
- 17:39Your thoughts on that, Cheryl?
- 17:41Absolutely.
- 17:42And that was a purposeful intent of those in charge of the larger media outlets in America,
- 17:49the New York Times, Washington Post, the NBC, ABC, CBS types of the world, right?
- 17:55CNN and so forth to basically cover to not send out the reporting watchdogs on stories
- 18:03like that.
- 18:04And this is how it always falls out when there's a Republican in the White House, all of a sudden
- 18:08you find the journalist picking up their watchdog roles and they just want to get tough
- 18:12and they want to do the dogged thing and dig in deep and run with anonymous sources and
- 18:17so forth because it's important to save the republic.
- 18:20But when it's a Democrat in charge, they have a tendency to just believe what they're
- 18:24told.
- 18:25And I actually believe at certain levels of media, there are some card carrying Marxists
- 18:31in charge in newsrooms that slant the coverage to be more pro-China, pro-Globalist,
- 18:40pro-Democrat.
- 18:41Absolutely.
- 18:42And this causes a problem for any well-meaning maybe college student who wants to go into journalism.
- 18:49If you are a Christian conservative, independent, or Republican, you're going to have a hard
- 18:54time in some of those newsrooms, basically your boss is going to give you the marching
- 18:59orders.
- 19:00Isn't that how it works that you can tell us from an insider?
- 19:04You're going to get laughed at, right?
- 19:07If you're in a, because every day in most journalism rooms across the nation, they have
- 19:11budget meetings, which isn't about money, it's about what stories are being budgeted for
- 19:15the day and who's going to cover what.
- 19:17And if you bring up issues and angles that counter the leftist viewpoints, such as taxes,
- 19:24it's not taxing people too much so you can save for a rainy day.
- 19:30That's how the left wants it to be sold.
- 19:32But really, if you're the one that says, hey, if government taxes so much to save for
- 19:36a rainy day, isn't that evidence of overtaxation, and it should be returned to the people?
- 19:41It's things like that that you're going to be mocked about, mocked at and laughed at.
- 19:45But, you know, suck it up because your voice is the one that will save America.
- 19:50And just keep fighting friends, fighting for truth.
- 19:52I mean, that's why we do what we do, some outlets might censor us, or shadow banners,
- 19:56or whatever.
- 19:57But, hey, we're still in the greatest nation, and we are still free to some degree.
- 20:02We're losing those.
- 20:03And, but anyway, that's for another topic.
- 20:06I want to talk to you briefly, Cheryl, you mentioned Marxism and the influence of Marxism
- 20:10in America.
- 20:11We have seen a lot of damage done.
- 20:14And now we've got this thing that seemingly crept up in the last couple of years.
- 20:19I mean, some people just heard about it when Claudine Gay had to resign from Harvard,
- 20:23DEI, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- 20:25They're pitting groups against one another, and this is not fair.
- 20:28It is not, it might be diverse, but they want people to maybe look different, but think
- 20:34the same.
- 20:36But then there's equity and there's inclusion.
- 20:39And you say these three words can really overturn whole systems and capsize entire plans,
- 20:48agendas, missions, and operations.
- 20:51There are more of your thoughts on that because we know it's a cancer.
- 20:54Right.
- 20:55So, just look at what DEI can do in the workforce, right?
- 20:59Not only when you train your employees to think in terms of equity or inclusion, and they're
- 21:07basically cowed into their speech, aligning with what the corporation wants to put out
- 21:13in terms of social justice or social reform, think what it can do to the free market
- 21:19to our capitalistic system.
- 21:20And you have corporations that are in business to please their stakeholders instead of their
- 21:26shareholders, which is what all the great reset from the world economic forum is about.
- 21:32What that does is it makes them adopt policies that are in line with DEI, diversity, equity,
- 21:38and inclusion, and environmentalism.
- 21:41And instead of being in business to make money, right, to please their shareholders to
- 21:47profit and loss, suddenly businesses are in business to advance a social agenda.
- 21:53And it doesn't matter so much about making money.
- 21:56So it changes the entire dynamics of our capitalistic society where corporations are acting
- 22:02more like quasi-governments, and more than that, like quasi-Marxist governments.
- 22:07And yes, DEI is very dangerous.
- 22:10It changes the mindsets of individuals, and really it will destroy America's free society.
- 22:16And you wrote about that, one of the many great articles on your website at WashingtonTimes.com.
- 22:23People might think, well, you know, that's just the universities, or maybe some corporations
- 22:28are, you know, loyal to DEI.
- 22:31Let's just give one example.
- 22:33I mean, there's many, many, many.
- 22:35United Airlines, I've got friends that will not fly United anywhere because of their commitment
- 22:40to DEI.
- 22:41I mean, Cheryl, explain that for us in those terms when it comes to hiring certain pilots
- 22:49who are going to fly the plane, lowering certain standards.
- 22:52Go ahead.
- 22:53Right.
- 22:54So if you want to fly, right, you want your pilot to be the most skilled pilot because
- 23:00you don't want to be worried that he or she doesn't know how to fly a plane, well,
- 23:03United is one of those corporations that is heavy on the DEI and has announced intense
- 23:09to hire.
- 23:10I forget the number, but I think it was something like 50 percent women or minorities to serve
- 23:17as pilots in the next X amount of years.
- 23:20And so it seems to me that competence, skill, experience, you know, safety, these are all
- 23:26things that you want in your pilot, not so much skin color or gender, but that's how
- 23:31DEI works in the corporate structure.
- 23:34Josh, that is absolutely astounding when you think about something that can affect
- 23:38your safety and not just, you know, something at the college level where, you know, we already
- 23:43know that, that system's gone.
- 23:45Anyway, Cheryl, I wish we had more time with you, but I'm thankful for the way you write
- 23:51and your boldness.
- 23:52That's, by the way, how long have you been doing your bold and blunt podcast?
- 23:56About two and a half years now going on great.
- 23:59Okay.
- 24:00Well, you've written like that for many, many years.
- 24:02You've, you've been speaking like that for many, many years.
- 24:04If you've ever seen Cheryl on an interview, but now it's good to have the podcast too.
- 24:09So I encourage people to get locked down or check that out.
- 24:12The socialist plan to take away your freedom.
- 24:14Any new books in the work?
- 24:15So you work again?
- 24:16Anything else?
- 24:17Tell us about it.
- 24:18Give us a little tease.
- 24:19I have one coming out in September, God given or bust, defeating Marxism and saving
- 24:25America with biblical truths.
- 24:28Wow.
- 24:29Yes.
- 24:30Perfect.
- 24:31That's amazing.
- 24:32So that's November.
- 24:34September.
- 24:35September.
- 24:36One election.
- 24:37Yes.
- 24:38Okay.
- 24:39God given or bust?
- 24:40Mm-hmm.
- 24:41Yes.
- 24:42Final countdown, right?
- 24:43Wow.
- 24:44It's God given rights.
- 24:45Yeah.
- 24:46Exactly.
- 24:47Yeah.
- 24:48You know what?
- 24:49There's a, we've had a couple minutes briefly.
- 24:50There's a comment.
- 24:51Someone shared this article that we talked about earlier on the Democrat agenda that's,
- 24:54they're rushing to destroy America.
- 24:56And someone said this that you were talking about in the article, 2024 election is a tipping
- 25:03point between globalist, collectivist, authoritarianism and individual-based liberty.
- 25:10That's kind of what you were just alluding to in your book, God given, right?
- 25:14And we're, or bust because Marxism is the plank, the path that we're on, to share your
- 25:20quick thoughts before we close here, wrap it up with you.
- 25:23Look, America was built on the idea of God given individualism and that's not just
- 25:28a blessing.
- 25:29It's a responsibility.
- 25:30So we as a nation have to put God first, which is where we failed in these last few years,
- 25:36which is why we are where we're at in the political structure.
- 25:39So it's God given or bust, God given rights, or we lose America for the foreseeable future.
- 25:46If you can keep it, wasn't that Benjamin Franklin, someone she's, he said that's the Republic,
- 25:53the Republic, a Republic man.
- 25:55Cheryl Chunley, it's so great to catch up with you.
- 25:58I'm thankful for your time.
- 25:59Lord willing, we can do it again in the near future.
- 26:01God bless you and we'll be sending people to your website and reading your articles
- 26:05and checking out your podcast.
- 26:06Thank you.
- 26:07Thank you.
- 26:08God bless.
- 26:09All right.
- 26:10Thank you, guys.
- 26:11Share the podcast.
- 26:12That's how it gets out there.
- 26:13We appreciate everyone that prays for us and just keeps us going.
- 26:16We will keep speaking until we can't anymore.
- 26:19Lord willing, Cheryl, I know she will.
