  I'm Angel Santana, and this is episode nine of 10 episodes, Faith in Today's

  World series. It has been a journey.

  And today I want to ask you the number one question.

  What will people remember about you? Not your job title, not the car you drove,

  not how much money you made.

  When your children, your grandchildren, your friends, or even strangers tell

  your story, what do you hope they'll say?

  Will they remember your accomplishments? Or will they remember your faith?

  We live in a world that's always chasing the next big thing,

  the next trend, the next phone, the next promotion, the next viral video.

  Very few people stop and ask, what kind of legacy am I building?

  A legacy isn't built in one day. It's built in one conversation,

  one prayer, one act of kindness, one example at a time.

  Long after we're gone, our influence can still be speaking.

  So let's talk about it. Passing on faith isn't about having all the answers.

  It's about living in a life that points people to Christ.

  Children notice more than we realize.
• 2:47
  Grandchildren are watching. Neighbors are watching. Sometimes the loudest sermon

  we'll ever preach is simply the life we choose to live.

  Your consistency, your kindness, your forgiveness, your integrity,

  those things tell people who you believed in.

  As many of you know, I'm a father of two. that has changed the way I think about faith.

  I don't just want my children to hear me talk about God. I want them to see
• 3:16
  Him reflect in the way that I live.

  I want them to remember that when I, well, when life became difficult, I prayed. We prayed.

  When someone was hurting, I cared. We cared.

  When we make mistakes, I apologized. We apologize.

  When God blessed us, I gave thanks. We give thanks.

  If my children remember those things, then I believe I left them something more
• 3:47
  valuable than anything money could ever buy.

  Your legacy isn't waiting until retirement. It's happening today.

  Every encouraging word, every act of compromise, every act of compassion,

  every time you choose forgiveness, every time you worship,
• 4:05
  every time you extend grace, someone is learning from your example.

  You may never realize how many lives you have influenced, but God does.

  So here's your faith challenge. Today's Faith Challenge is one of the most meaningful

  we've had in this series.

  Call someone younger than you. It could be your child, a grandchild,

  a niece, a nephew, a younger co-worker.

  Tell them something God has taught you.
• 4:38
  Share one lesson you've learned. One prayer God answered. One mistake He helped you overcome.

  Pass on your faith. Don't assume they'll discover it someday.

  Help them discover it today.

  So let me close with this. One day, someone will tell your story.

  They'll remember your laugh, your kindness, your generosity, your faith.

  The question is, what story are we writing today?

  The greatest inheritance we leave isn't found in a will. It's found in the example we live behind.

  Live in such a way. that generations after you will know where your hope was found.

  Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for every person who passed their faith onto us.

  Thank you for your parents, grandparents, pastors, teachers,

  friends, and mentors who showed up and showed us what it means to follow you.

  Help us become those people for someone else.

  May our lives point others toward Christ. May our words bring encouragement.

  May our actions leave a legacy of love.

  And may your faith, planned in our hearts, continue growing through generations
