- 0:23expand your base of information and the things that help you
- 0:27to to grow your business. And this week we have the amazing Dr.
- 0:31Patricia Rogers, and she's gonna share with you
- 0:35something that happened to her that makes her really good at what
- 0:39she does. Hi, Patricia. Hi, I, I've gone. How
- 0:42are you doing today? I'm great. I'm great. I'm so glad that you're here.
- 0:46I'm really thankful. So tell everybody what it is that you do and
- 0:50why you're better at it than most people.
- 0:54Oh, wow. That's a good question. Okay, I'm Dr. Patricia
- 0:58Rogers, and I am hailing all the way from McDonough,
- 1:01Georgia, and by way of Florida. I grew up in Miami,
- 1:05Florida, and I decided to move to Atlanta, uh, Georgia
- 1:08area to, uh, build my dream home. Of course, every little
- 1:12girl's dream, you know. So that's what I did, and I've been here for the
- 1:15last 5 years. But what made it so special and unique,
- 1:18Yvonne, was the fact that me having to make that
- 1:22transition from Florida to here, it was not a problem. It
- 1:26didn't interrupt anything because we were already online
- 1:29living in a virtual world. We're already— the pandemic had already
- 1:33set the stage for me, if you will. So all I had to do was
- 1:37just continue to stay online. And no, my business was never
- 1:40disrupted in the transition from one state to another. That's a
- 1:44bonus. That's a bonus. Yeah. You know, because we complain about the pandemic, but
- 1:48the reality of it is, I think right about now we all can say
- 1:51that it has truly been an eye-opener and a door of
- 1:55opportunities. And what I do is I serve entrepreneurs by
- 1:58setting a platform for them to speak, promote their products and services,
- 2:02increase their leads, make new connections so they can get
- 2:06new clients. And how do we do that? We do that by setting these
- 2:10speaking opportunities, whether it's a workshop, whether it's a podcast
- 2:14interview, whether it's just speaking at an event conference, whether speaking
- 2:17in person or or virtual. We have been doing that for over a
- 2:21decade, setting platforms for entrepreneurs to speak, those who
- 2:25understand that speaking is an investment into their business. And we take
- 2:28pride in that. We make sure they look good, show up, we give them good
- 2:32content, we promote them all across social media, and we
- 2:36encourage them to do the same. Because, uh, if we're not there, as I
- 2:39always say, nobody sees us. So with that, that's what I do in, uh,
- 2:43in Unity in Service. And I have a social media team, and we
- 2:47have a good time promoting entrepreneurs and
- 2:51giving them more visibility on their
- 2:55brand. So I just want to take a step back because you had a couple
- 2:58of nuggets in there. So the first thing is, and I say this
- 3:01all the time, your clients can't find you if you don't show up.
- 3:05I mean, if you are afraid of them, you know, seeing what
- 3:09you look like, you know, hearing you speak, which makes
- 3:12speaking like one of the best ways to grow your business. So do you want
- 3:16to Talk about that a little bit. You know what you found about
- 3:20that? What I found about people who don't want to show up. I want to
- 3:23make sure you could take either side of the coin, how
- 3:27people who show up and speak do better than people who don't show
- 3:31up. So you can, you know, I think that the things, the things that
- 3:35keep people from not speaking are really more in their
- 3:38brains than they are for real, for the real
- 3:43clients. Yeah, yeah, we're programmed by society, and society has
- 3:46always said that public speaking is the nearest—
- 3:50people would rather die than to be public speaking. Sometimes something like that they
- 3:54say. That's the biggest fear is public speaking. People fear public speaking more than they
- 3:57do dying. That's how I say it. But you're right, if we
- 4:01don't show up— and I always believe that events allows me
- 4:05to speak to more than one person at one time. And I get people
- 4:08on LinkedIn per se, for instance, and they're texting me, sending
- 4:13me an in, in a DM telling me about what they do. And of course,
- 4:17because I have all these events and we've, we have at least 8 to 9
- 4:21events a year, and then I have clients that I've trained to host events.
- 4:24So even when you come to my event, you're gonna have other doors of opportunity
- 4:28open to be. And visibility is everything. If we are
- 4:32not there, nobody sees us. And people cannot support what they cannot
- 4:36see. So if we're not using social media, and I say that because many,
- 4:40many entrepreneurs do not like to use social media, what we have over
- 4:43the whole world is on social media on one platform or another for
- 4:47whatever reason, whatever reason it is. So my point is this: as an entrepreneur, I
- 4:51have to go where the people are. So this is why I'm so visible on
- 4:54social media and have been for years. And I feel my
- 4:58conferences with people flying in even as far as London because I was visible
- 5:02and we posted content about the conference. If you— again,
- 5:06if we're not there, nobody can support what they do not
- 5:09see. And we need to get over the fact that we're scared, we're afraid, we
- 5:13don't know what to say, because just like I'm talking to you now, I get
- 5:16on social media, all I got to do is do the same thing. Everything is
- 5:18a conversation. So you agree?
- 5:22I agree. And there are a couple of things. I think the
- 5:25biggest thing that I see as a mistake
- 5:29is that people do not focus on the one thing that
- 5:33they're trying. They keep trying to change what they're saying, which
- 5:37means the people who see them the first time don't recognize them the
- 5:40second time. And you never build that confidence in
- 5:44yourself and become that familiar with your material.
- 5:48So, you know, the more you do the same talk and, you know, that doesn't
- 5:51mean it's exactly the same. It can, you know, wiggle a little
- 5:55bit. But that gives you the confidence to speak. The other thing
- 6:00is, I think that a good speaker, the,
- 6:04the energy or essence that you bring for one-on-one that
- 6:07makes people like you is the same thing you're striving for when
- 6:11you leverage that and speak to a big
- 6:16group. And, and I made that mistake. I mean, I had a client actually tell
- 6:19me I was speaking someplace and she goes, I don't know who that person
- 6:23was. That's not the same person that I speak to every
- 6:27week. Right? Because I had put on my professional speaking
- 6:31thingy, you know? So talk about, talk
- 6:35about, well, talk about some of the successes you've had and some of the things
- 6:38that people have to overcome to be comfortable
- 6:42speaking. Well, I'm glad you asked that because I was listening to what you just
- 6:45said and I wanted to kind of tap into that. So you can't—
- 6:49that was perfect. Authenticity is very
- 6:53important. Mm-hmm. I cannot be you and you cannot be me. And God
- 6:57made us all uniquely and he already has our gifts laid out for
- 7:01us even before we was born. So what we— then that's why
- 7:05we as entrepreneurs, you and I both know when we talk about that
- 7:08term discovering our gifts, well, when we discover our gift, then
- 7:12that's when we can be our true authentic self. I can't do what you
- 7:15do better than you do what you do. Because you do you,
- 7:19you know, you can't do what I do. But so if we just
- 7:23understand that it's not about competition, it's not about who's the
- 7:27best, because whatever your gift is, you are the
- 7:31best. And you're the best because you say you're the best. So what we
- 7:35feed our mind is what we believe. And
- 7:39this is why it's important to build our confidence. And how do we build our
- 7:42confidence? We do that by constantly speaking over and over and over and over and
- 7:45over, whether it's a podcast Whether today I'm on this podcast, you think
- 7:49I want to come to this podcast today? Yeah. Yeah.
- 7:53Did I feel like coming today? No, I want to still be in bed. But
- 7:57guess what? How about that? Yeah, that makes two of
- 8:03us. But the thing, I think the thing, you know, like
- 8:06you said, I don't, I don't remember the word you use. The word
- 8:10I've been using is we're conditioned, programmed is the word you
- 8:14use. Right. We are programmed to kind of— I say
- 8:18that we are programmed and conditioned to be
- 8:21mediocre. People don't want people who have, you know, exciting
- 8:25ideas or who want to do things differently and that kind of
- 8:29stuff. And that's exactly what you bring
- 8:32to your talk and to your clients that make them want
- 8:36you. And like you said, I mean, I just want to reinforce These
- 8:40are things that you were born with. You had them your
- 8:44entire life. They showed up in school, they showed up with your
- 8:47family, and every single one of those places, people probably said to you, we
- 8:51don't do it that way, or for God's sakes, please sit still, or, you know,
- 8:54stop interrupting with those ideas, or stop asking questions,
- 8:58or whatever, you know, whatever it was. And I find that so
- 9:02interesting because that's what I talk about in my workshop all the time, is the
- 9:06gifts that you have, the unique powers that you have, that
- 9:11combination is you, but everybody's tried to either educate it
- 9:15or train it out of you, right?
- 9:18Yes. And, and I know what you're saying, uh, and I think it was,
- 9:22uh, Marianne Williamson said that there's nothing enlightened
- 9:25about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around
- 9:29you. And that phrase, when you made that statement about some people don't want you
- 9:33to shine— I'm just going to use the word shine or or be,
- 9:37be, you know, be, be energized. Absolutely don't want that.
- 9:41But let me say something about that. That's very true. We know that to
- 9:44be true. But what I want to tell my listening audience is, how do you
- 9:48get over that? How do you get over that is
- 9:52this: you don't want those people anyway. You don't need their seal of
- 9:55approval anyway. Because see, the reason they want to water you down is because they're
- 9:58not doing anything themselves. So you're making—
- 10:02they're feeling insecure on their own free will because of what they
- 10:06see you doing. They know they're capable of doing it, but they're not doing it.
- 10:09So now they want to water you down. Well, let me tell you how to
- 10:12fix that problem. When you, when you, when you network and you
- 10:15network intentionally, and when you're out there building relationships, whether it's
- 10:19online, in person, intentionally, you have to target your market. And
- 10:23we hear it all the time. I don't even want to be around mediocre people.
- 10:26I want to be around people like you said, Yvonne, they have the same
- 10:30energy of more. That I'm
- 10:34exerting. And I think when I say energy, I mean passion for your business. I'm
- 10:37not talking about being all loud like I am and all, you know, happy, and
- 10:41I'm just— this is just me. Yeah, I'm just me. No, I'm
- 10:44talking about that passion that comes with running your
- 10:48business. And the, the thing that I want to add to that
- 10:52is I think you're absolutely right. There are people who are threatened by
- 10:56you, um, you know, and you know, what you are capable
- 11:00of. But I think that maybe the more
- 11:05insidious is the ones that you got in childhood because
- 11:08your parents actually and your family actually did that to keep you safe
- 11:12because they loved you. Right. And, you know, the story that
- 11:16I jokingly tell, one of the biggest things that I had to overcome was
- 11:19the idea that I could— that failure was okay, that failure was
- 11:23actually a step towards success, a necessary step,
- 11:27Because my family was very much like, you don't do it unless
- 11:31you can succeed and be like a shining light, right? And the story
- 11:35that I tell is when I ran for student council, my mom said, don't do
- 11:38this. And I'm like, why? She goes, you might lose. And I go, Mom, there
- 11:41are 5 other people. There's an 80% chance I'm going to lose,
- 11:46right? She did that because she loved me and she didn't want my feelings to
- 11:49get hurt. Those are the ones I think sometimes that are a little bit harder
- 11:52to get over because we don't realize how deeply ingrained they are.
- 11:56But as an adult, you get a
- 12:00combination of both. You get those childhood things and you get those people. And
- 12:03I absolutely agree with you that you do not
- 12:07need to be the person to put yourself
- 12:10in situations where other people make you feel less. I think
- 12:14Marianne Williamson said something about don't let your— or was it Maya? And, you
- 12:18know, don't keep your light under a bushel basket. You
- 12:22know, and, and I believe that that's true. And I
- 12:26think when you can— tell me what you think of this, okay? So I think,
- 12:29I think too many people do not realize that
- 12:33their message is really going to
- 12:37help somebody and change your life. It's going to save them time, it's going to
- 12:40save them money, it's going to save their health, it's going to save
- 12:44their business, it's possibly going to save their relationships.
- 12:47That what you have to give is
- 12:51important. That's right. That's
- 12:55right. Yeah. And I think when you can— when you see that,
- 12:59that gives you the confidence to know, you know, sure, I may not hit
- 13:03it off with everybody in a, you know, in an audience, but if I
- 13:06can help at least one person, yeah, then I've done
- 13:11something. Yeah. And that's where we have to put our faith in to
- 13:15action because God called us to do. He gave us the gifts,
- 13:18and when we use the gifts to his glory and his honor, he will lead
- 13:22us and direct us. You know, um, it's just like if we make our
- 13:25kid a dress, you know, we made the dress, she may think
- 13:29the dress is designed backwards, but we know we made that dress, we know how
- 13:32that dress supposed to fit, and then when we turn it around, oh, okay, I
- 13:36see, see. So when we trust the process, we won't have to—
- 13:39we, we can get through all of that other stuff. Because I'm gonna tell you
- 13:42something, I'm glad— I love this topic. Everybody not
- 13:46gonna follow you anyway. Everybody not gonna follow me.
- 13:49It's enough people out there to go around for everybody. But
- 13:53I do want to own my territory, because if I don't own that
- 13:57little space he gave me, he gonna give it to
- 14:02you, and I'm gonna be 38 hot. So I'm going
- 14:06to hold my space so he don't give it to somebody else,
- 14:09and I'm gonna honor it. So whatever people he put in front of
- 14:13me— that's why I say we can't look at people, uh, you know, I've
- 14:17been trying to get 100 people on my platform since the pandemic. I think the
- 14:21most I had was 80 on a virtual platform, okay,
- 14:24that actually show up. I've had 100, 150 registrations, you know
- 14:28how free events are, but they don't show up. So
- 14:32I— and I've been asking God for that for the longest. I— every— I work
- 14:35so hard every event to have have 100 people because we push, we push,
- 14:39we push. I use text message, I use Facebook Messenger, I
- 14:43use my phone, I pick up my 500-pound phone, I use my
- 14:46DM on LinkedIn, I use my— I'm on TikTok, I'm on—
- 14:50I got a team that push. And that has been my prayer for the
- 14:54last few years, and I never get that 100, but I
- 14:57get 150, 100. I've gotten 200 registrations
- 15:01before. Yes. So this year I'm gonna say that— this year I'm going in, it's
- 15:04a question you asked me, I guess I go ahead and tackle it now. What's
- 15:07special thing that has happened to me that was new? Can I answer
- 15:11that now? Yes, ma'am. That was a question
- 15:15you had asked me the other day, and I'm— I want
- 15:18to answer that now. What I did new and
- 15:23different— I'd always network with, with, with, with
- 15:27intention. I started putting it out on the platform. I'm looking for some co— uh,
- 15:30people who host events. I'm looking for entrepreneurs who host event
- 15:34hosts. That has a community because I want to
- 15:38collaborate. I threw it out there a few times. Guess what? Nobody bit
- 15:41the bullet because I network a lot, at least 4 or 5 times a week.
- 15:45These little 90 minutes here, 90 minutes there, you know, whatever. But
- 15:49guess what? It came to me in the most unexpected
- 15:53way on LinkedIn. This guy accused me of taking his
- 15:57platform on Meetup because they offered his
- 16:00platform because they needed a leader. I answered the response and it was
- 16:04a mistake. So he saw me on LinkedIn, he said, you
- 16:08hijacked my platform and I want it back. I'm like, what is
- 16:11he talking about? I ain't know what he talking about. I'm not even on Meetup,
- 16:14but I just saw it come through my email. I was like, I don't know
- 16:16who that was. Come to find out, he got it back and he texted me.
- 16:20He said, hey, I got it back. And I said, I didn't even know what
- 16:22you was talking about. Do you know me and that guy had a
- 16:26one-on-one and he and I have collaborated.
- 16:30We've met. He has a platform, Speakers Co-op. That's Eric,
- 16:34uh, Jeff Klein. You may know that name. Yes, Jeff Klein
- 16:37and I, we're combining our, our events on
- 16:41March 5th. Then here comes Phil the Connector.
- 16:45Yeah, these people have platforms, and these people,
- 16:49when they met with me one-on-one, they saw the vision and they
- 16:52said, let's do it. And this is separate, separate meetings. So all I'm saying is
- 16:56that's what's new that we're doing this year. On March
- 17:0020th, we're going to combine those platforms and communities.
- 17:03I'm going to the events now. I dropped a little affiliate link in. It's just,
- 17:07it's just, and it's a test. It's a test. I don't know them. They
- 17:10don't know me. They don't know my work ethic. I don't know theirs.
- 17:14But sometimes we have to step out on faith. And that goes back to what
- 17:17you were saying earlier, getting over that
- 17:21stigma or those misconceptions that our families have left
- 17:25us with. No matter how we got in the funk, they always
- 17:29told me it's up to me that I get out of it. How about
- 17:33that? Okay. I want to— before we run out of time, there are a couple
- 17:35of things that I want us to talk about again because I think they're
- 17:40important. I think the first thing that I want
- 17:44everybody to remember is that the best way to be
- 17:48seen is to speak. And there are a multitude
- 17:52of ways that you can speak. You don't necessarily have to start out
- 17:57on you know, a big event as a, you know, a featured speaker. But there's
- 18:00no reason why you can't, right, if you have a message.
- 18:04But you— but I think speaking starts when you first start to
- 18:09network. And, you know, one of the things that I found really interesting
- 18:13was because I didn't really start networking until after
- 18:17the pandemic. I never really liked it. I, you
- 18:21know, but one of the things is when you show up regularly with the
- 18:24same message, people in those groups. I mean,
- 18:28I find it so amazing sometimes when people will go, if you haven't talked to
- 18:32Yvonne, you need to talk to her. You know, that comes from nurturing
- 18:35your relationships and being authentic.
- 18:39And you don't know who you— what you
- 18:43say that somebody will remember a year, 2 years,
- 18:473 years from 3 years ago. And I think that— so the
- 18:50first way to show up is just, you know, go to networking
- 18:54things, that kind of thing. The next thing
- 18:58is, besides big events, what other
- 19:01ways, you know, for me, one of the things I suggest is that you make
- 19:05your own stage, have office hours or something where you can show up once
- 19:08a month and people know how to find you, right? And when you're
- 19:12networking, you say, oh, I have office hours, come and ask questions or
- 19:17whatever. Um, and I'm sure there are a lot more ways, something between having office
- 19:21hours and having your own workshop and doing a big thing. What,
- 19:24What suggestions have you got for that in-between stage, if
- 19:29any? Yes, that's right. And I'm going to add in too,
- 19:34also, we already know podcasts is definitely a
- 19:37speaking opportunity. Yeah, I was waiting. Yeah, we know that based on the
- 19:41fact that we're here now. But I want to add also that every
- 19:44time that we get a chance to speak, it's a speaking opportunity, which I'm agreeing
- 19:48with you. So sometimes people don't count
- 19:52certain things, but I want to throw in there magazines. When you
- 19:55are in a magazine, a door of opportunity open,
- 19:59take advantage of it because you have to talk about you,
- 20:03what you do, and how you serve humanity. And
- 20:07sometimes that helps us if we don't have our story together, it helps us
- 20:11get it together. Anytime we put us on black, on black and white, put
- 20:15it on paper, we are more clear. And I think I heard
- 20:18you say that at your workshop the other day, something about clarity. You got to
- 20:22be clear, you know. And so the more we do
- 20:25anything like you're saying, for this public speaking, through networking,
- 20:29definitely networking like you said, because most events
- 20:33nowadays, virtual events, they're going to let you do a 60-second
- 20:37infomercial, some 30 seconds that prepares you. That's
- 20:40public speaking. My coach, Bill Walsh, Power Team USA, used to tell us all the
- 20:44time back in 2017, He said anytime you do something about 100
- 20:48times, he said you're an expert. Well, I done exceeded
- 20:52that. And so I'm just saying, it's not just that being on a
- 20:55platform public speaking, it's so many other ways that you are
- 20:59publicly speaking. Even when you go live on a video, when I go live and
- 21:02I'm out my car and I'm live, that's, that's
- 21:06public speaking, you know.
- 21:10So it's just so many ways to do public to get
- 21:14your message out and get your face in the crowd like you're saying and look
- 21:17the same wherever you go. That personal
- 21:21profile should never change until— unless you change it one place, you need
- 21:25to change it everywhere because you're right, you can, you can confuse the
- 21:29people. So, so the thing that I'm going to say that I always say is
- 21:32take some action, even if it's a small
- 21:36step, because that action will lead to bigger actions. Because you take that
- 21:40one step, you will become more confident. Opportunities
- 21:44will open up for you and you will get better. And I think
- 21:47that— yeah, yeah. And you're right, the more you speak it, the
- 21:51better you sound, the more confident you feel, and the
- 21:55better that you connect. You said something
- 21:59that I really wanted to go back to, and now I can't remember what it
- 22:04was. All right, so let's just do this just to kind
- 22:07of recap all of this. You gotta show up, you
- 22:11gotta speak. I know you talked about, you talked
- 22:14about this very early about leveraging speaking to more than one,
- 22:18and that's, that's really important. I think especially if you're
- 22:21a solopreneur or you're just starting out, it is very hard to build a
- 22:25business all by yourself. And so, and
- 22:29so if when you collaborate with other people, whether it's affiliates
- 22:32or you join other people's events and stuff like that, It will
- 22:36help you grow your business so much faster
- 22:41and it puts you in proximity of other experts.
- 22:44It elevates the way that you come across by
- 22:48the people that you associate with. I mean, do
- 22:52you agree with me? Absolutely.
- 22:56Absolutely. If you, you know, if you say, you
- 23:00know, your, your audience knows you. So when I, when I promote
- 23:04something, You know, I say I'm speaking, but I really want you to hear from
- 23:08this person, this person, and this person, because that's going to
- 23:12elevate me with the people that, you know, that I'm hanging out with. I'm
- 23:15introducing my audience to new people so they can get new
- 23:19ideas and, and, and get clearer on what they're doing. So just
- 23:23real fast, before we run out of time, I had said to you I was
- 23:25going to ask you 3 things that you think are important for people to
- 23:29do. To help grow their business. And we're talking about visibility and speaking.
- 23:33So whatever 3 things you think you want
- 23:37people to take away. Actually, we've covered it
- 23:41all. We have. We covered some great territory, you know, and I love it. I
- 23:44love it. And so if I could just say everything that we covered, I'm going
- 23:48to sum it up in 3 words, like you said, 3 things,
- 23:52and it's going to cover everything that we've talked about. My
- 23:563 things is going to be this: get
- 24:00up, suit up, and start showing
- 24:03up. Okay, that's it, that's it. There's nothing else
- 24:07to do. You already said it, you got to be on other people's
- 24:10platforms. Doors of opportunity open when you go, go to these events because you're going
- 24:13to get a chance to have your voice heard. When your voice is heard, people
- 24:16see your face, they can put a name with a face. We've already covered it
- 24:20all, so the only thing left for anybody that's stuck to
- 24:24do is get up, suit up, and start showing up.
- 24:28And start— and we want you to start on March 20th.
- 24:32Okay, so let me ask you this, um, did you bring a gift for
- 24:36us? Oh, absolutely, absolutely. Tell us about that because we definitely want
- 24:40to get that. Okay, again, back to
- 24:44March 20th. That's— this will be our second of 8 events for the year,
- 24:47and we're going to be giving— having an event where we're bringing
- 24:514 strategic partners who have platforms. We're all coming together
- 24:55and we're going to post that event together so that we can give our
- 24:59entrepreneurs, our attendees, our speakers a bigger pool of
- 25:03people so that we can make a bigger impact, you know. So this is
- 25:06what we're doing. This is what our goal is. All of us have speaking
- 25:10platforms basically, or have some type of, uh, a product
- 25:14or service that will get you even more visibility. All of our
- 25:17attendees will receive, as well as our speakers, a copy of the
- 25:21actual email list of attendees if and when— if
- 25:25they attend the event. So nothing for nothing leaves nothing. This is
- 25:28a free event. Only way people get those bonuses, they're going to get
- 25:32a copy of the replay. It's not an upsell replay. They'll just get
- 25:36the replay because we want them to go back and look and hear those messages.
- 25:39And definitely our speakers get everything, and all of this content, our
- 25:43content They also receive a copy of the chat that has— that's going to have
- 25:47at least 20 or more leads in it. Um, so we just want to
- 25:50set everybody up as a win-win. And when we
- 25:54collaborate, any of us, even you by yourself or me, when we host
- 25:58these events like you hosted the other day, we always,
- 26:02always are raising the value for those attendees who get up sooner and
- 26:06attend the events. So that's what we're doing on May 20th. And if they want
- 26:12to get a— wait, wait, wait, wait, did you say May or March? March. Did
- 26:15I say May? Yeah, March 20th. If they— I'm— thank you for
- 26:19catching that. If they get— look at that link below my video right here,
- 26:23right here, the link right there below my video,
- 26:28impactspeakers2026.eventbrite.com. That will take you to Eventbrite, book your seat, and come
- 26:32on, y'all, let's shake up the house on May 20th from
- 26:3611:45 You, you talk about me confusing you.
- 26:40It's March 20th, right? Because you said May
- 26:44again. And the only reason I, I want to correct you is because it's coming
- 26:48up soon from when we are recording this. So I'm going to
- 26:51put that in the Sunday Scoop so people will be able to see it that
- 26:55don't see the podcast. And also, will you give us a link so
- 26:59people can get to your website in case they can't make that event?
- 27:02And, you know, or they get to it after the, after
- 27:06the March 20th. My
- 27:10website, you can give it to me afterwards because I'll put it in the notes.
- 27:13But I just want to make— I just want people who may hear this, you
- 27:16know, 2 months from now to know that there is a way to get a
- 27:18hold of you anyway. Oh, absolutely. Absolutely.
- 27:22Yeah, absolutely. All of my website pages have a calendar
- 27:26link on it and they can go on the web page, they can They can
- 27:29look at the speaking opportunities there. They can look at our past conference, that
- 27:33in-person conference we had this past year in 2025. And
- 27:37they can also select to be in the speaker
- 27:40program that we offer them as well, so they can speak consistently for
- 27:44the remainder of the year. Because consistency is
- 27:49important. Very. All right, I got to do the ad. So for
- 27:52all of you that are here, thank you. And I wish you would take another
- 27:55step and subscribe, share, and engage on social media about
- 27:59the podcast. You know, the reason that I did this was to help
- 28:02you supercharge your business through connection and connect you with people
- 28:06that maybe are not in your world right now. It's my way of giving back
- 28:09to the community, and I hope it's also going to help
- 28:13you to fuel your quest for growth and impact. And I hope you'll
- 28:17continue to join me with the One Small Change and embark on
- 28:20this journey, because we all want to help people with
- 28:24monumental transformations. You can also listen to the first and
- 28:27my individual podcasts that are sprinkled in there. And before
- 28:31we leave, Patricia, I want you to reiterate as
- 28:35your last words your 3 things.
- 28:38My 3 things for success is to
- 28:42get up, suit up,
- 28:46and show up. OK. So that's easy
- 28:50to remember. Everybody remember that and make that your marching
- 28:55orders. This has been fantastic. And as always, we always run out of
- 28:59time with our guests. I just want to say this as we end
- 29:02up. Remember, the change is simple, but it's not always easy. It
- 29:06requires courage, resilience, and a willingness to step outside your comfort
- 29:10zone. If you're not feeling a little bit nervous, at least for me, if I
- 29:13don't feel a little nervous, it means I don't really care. So I'm
- 29:17just, you know, coming in on automatic. So don't
- 29:21feel bad if you feel a little uneasy. Step out of your comfort
- 29:25zone and continue to Join me on the one small change. And
- 29:28until next time, stay very, very, very curious. Thank
- 29:32you, Patricia.
