- 0:00Speaker 1: We haven't done this in a while. Let's clean out the
- 0:01Speaker 1: sound fridge. I'm strong and geddy one more. We even
- 0:08Speaker 1: have a jingle for cleaning out the soundbridge, going, that's
- 0:13Speaker 1: very exciting battle guy.
- 0:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that was old school, by the way. That was
- 0:17Speaker 2: a dude playing his guitar and growl, singing and the
- 0:20Speaker 2: rest of it, not AI.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Which you don't need anymore because AI can do it
- 0:24Speaker 1: in two seconds. That's something makes me sad, hyndy, but
- 0:28Speaker 1: it makes me sad. First, this is Don Henley of
- 0:32Speaker 1: the Eagles.
- 0:34Speaker 3: You know, I think this year will probably be it,
- 0:37Speaker 3: and I've said things like that before, but you have
- 0:39Speaker 3: We're getting toward the end and that will be fine too.
- 0:43Speaker 1: You think twenty twenty six will be the end? You
- 0:45Speaker 1: think so, yeah, Eagles? Yeah, okay, I'm okay with that. No,
- 0:48Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be more definitive than that.
- 0:50Speaker 1: That's that Don Henley has said the Eagles, this is
- 0:53Speaker 1: the Eagles last year fifteen times in my lifetime, which
- 0:56Speaker 1: makes more people think, well, if I want to see
- 0:58Speaker 1: m I better go now. And uh and and he
- 1:00Speaker 1: said it might be shirt would be you know, we're
- 1:02Speaker 1: getting to it the end. That's not much, all right.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Because I'm trying to come up with the year. Remember
- 1:10Speaker 2: the end of the Innocence, which is a great song
- 1:12Speaker 2: from a great album. Yeah, that was his post Eagles
- 1:16Speaker 2: the first time Around career, and that was thirty five
- 1:19Speaker 2: years ago.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, something like that. Okay, so I thought there
- 1:24Speaker 1: was more of that.
- 1:24Speaker 2: He's a million.
- 1:26Speaker 1: He's good though, man, because I saw him just a
- 1:28Speaker 1: year ago and he sounds and drums exactly like he
- 1:31Speaker 1: ever did, which is very impressive. That makes me happy
- 1:35Speaker 1: as a guy who's getting older that you can hang
- 1:37Speaker 1: on to your musical enjoyment apparently a long time in
- 1:42Speaker 1: your life past when you can like golf or ride
- 1:45Speaker 1: a bike or other stuff, you can still play musical
- 1:49Speaker 1: instruments and sing for some reason. Yeah, Joe Walsh could
- 1:53Speaker 1: barely walk across the stage. It was amazing. He's hunched
- 1:56Speaker 1: over and he's kind of going like that. But ain't
- 1:59Speaker 1: he played his hands work perfect? Yeah, it's amazing. I
- 2:03Speaker 1: don't know why that is. Here's another thing. Love this
- 2:07Speaker 1: because Grammys seem like they were eight years ago now.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I haven't had the Super Bowl yesterday. That Bill Maher
- 2:13Speaker 1: felt the same way we did about Billie Eilish, among other.
- 2:16Speaker 4: Things, celebrities not good for the Democratic Party. I think
- 2:20Speaker 4: the Democrats should cut loose their celebrities. I don't think
- 2:22Speaker 4: they're helping. I don't think people see them as relatable.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I don't think anyone people think knows about their problems,
- 2:30Speaker 4: even they're always making political pronouncements. And then I watched
- 2:32Speaker 4: the Grammys Billie Eilish for It's a big controversy this week.
- 2:36Speaker 4: She said there's no illegals on stolen land, and she
- 2:42Speaker 4: said it's hard to know what to say, which I
- 2:45Speaker 4: would say, then don't say anything because you don't know things.
- 2:49Speaker 4: So you didn't go to school, I don't think, and
- 2:51Speaker 4: you don't know facts. She said, keep fighting and protesting
- 2:57Speaker 4: and speaking up. I totally agree with that. Said voices matter,
- 3:01Speaker 4: people matter, and I would just say so does knowledge.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a tough situation for Democrats. He's absolutely right.
- 3:09Speaker 1: If I'm a Democrat, I don't want celebrities out there
- 3:13Speaker 1: making us look ridiculous all the time. But how you
- 3:16Speaker 1: going to control your celebrities?
- 3:18Speaker 2: Right? Right? It isn't doesn't the world so boiled down
- 3:21Speaker 2: to emotionalists versus rationalists and not just right left? Because
- 3:25Speaker 2: there are plenty of emotionalists on the right too, But man,
- 3:29Speaker 2: that's the great divide. I like that saying we had
- 3:32Speaker 2: last week, which I doubted who it was credited to.
- 3:35Speaker 2: But there are two kinds of people in the world.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I avoid both.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I like that.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 1: And then, because we're recording this the day after the
- 3:46Speaker 1: Super Bowl, I think I know exactly where I want
- 3:49Speaker 1: to stop this, because this is pretty good. This is
- 3:51Speaker 1: one of the better Trump impersonators. I suppose we ought
- 3:53Speaker 1: to give his name.
- 3:54Speaker 5: What is his name, Sean Farrage, Sean Farrage.
- 3:56Speaker 1: He does a pretty good Trump.
- 3:57Speaker 6: Here you go, this is your favorite present, and his
- 4:00Speaker 6: message is for bad Bunny, or as I call him,
- 4:03Speaker 6: the nasty rabbit Elknaho. That's agradable. He's a nasty rabbit
- 4:08Speaker 6: and a stupid rabbit. Anytime you see a guy in
- 4:11Speaker 6: a dress that's a very stupid person, they call him
- 4:15Speaker 6: bad Bunny. I call him the worst bunny. Think about it,
- 4:17Speaker 6: and nobody knows Bunny's quite like I do. I get
- 4:20Speaker 6: along very well with many of the highly respected bunnies
- 4:24Speaker 6: all around the world. I have a tremendous relationship with
- 4:27Speaker 6: bugs Bunny. He said to me, what's up, duc? He said, Sarah,
- 4:31Speaker 6: what's up, Duck? Sir I said, you don't have to
- 4:34Speaker 6: call me duck. You could call me Donald. But Bugs
- 4:37Speaker 6: Bunny is a tremendous bunny. He does a fantastic job
- 4:41Speaker 6: on the baseball field. He plays every position. He does
- 4:44Speaker 6: a fantastic job. I get a look very well with
- 4:47Speaker 6: Roger Rabbit, and what happened to him was horrible. You know,
- 4:51Speaker 6: they say, Sarah, who framed Roger Rabbit? Sir I said,
- 4:54Speaker 6: it was probably the fake news and the Democrats. They
- 4:57Speaker 6: frame everybody. I also got a lot well with little
- 5:00Speaker 6: Bunny fou Fu, and I ended the war between Little
- 5:03Speaker 6: Bunny fool fou and the field mice. He was bopping
- 5:06Speaker 6: him on the head. I said, you can't do that.
- 5:09Speaker 6: You have to stop doing that or we're going to
- 5:11Speaker 6: hit you with tariff. So we ended that war. You know,
- 5:14Speaker 6: you look at it the peace President. So we get
- 5:16Speaker 6: along well with a lot of bunnies, but not the
- 5:18Speaker 6: nasty rabbit known as bad Bunny. He's a horrible person
- 5:23Speaker 6: and a stupid person, and canajo desa gredable bad Bunny.
- 5:27Speaker 6: Nasty Rabbit the h our country, and he has no
- 5:31Speaker 6: talent thank you for your attention to this matter.
- 5:34Speaker 1: That's pretty good.
- 5:35Speaker 2: That was really good.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Yeah, pretty good, he said to be what's up, doctor,
- 5:44Speaker 1: I get along with all the famous rabbits.
- 5:48Speaker 5: What's up docs?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Sir?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Does anybody know why substandard rabbit had? His last name
- 5:57Speaker 2: was on the back of his shirt Ocassio? And but
- 6:00Speaker 2: sixty four? Has anybody explained that is some? Is that
- 6:02Speaker 2: an obscene reference? Is that a gang sign? Is that
- 6:06Speaker 2: the number of states we ought to have in the US?
- 6:09Speaker 2: It was not a random number?
- 6:11Speaker 1: Probably not.
- 6:13Speaker 5: It's the personal tribute to his late uncle who was
- 6:17Speaker 5: born than that set while playing football.
- 6:19Speaker 1: Okay, okay, probably or football football spelled football.
- 6:26Speaker 5: It's spelled football. I'm assuming it's nice. That's nice.
- 6:32Speaker 1: I really hate that I got pushed into the old
- 6:34Speaker 1: man yells at Cloud's column over the halftime show, because
- 6:38Speaker 1: I'm usually much more forgiving of it, just because you know,
- 6:44Speaker 1: Kendrick Lamar, it's not music I listened to, but there's
- 6:46Speaker 1: a lot of people that do. And it doesn't offend
- 6:47Speaker 1: me that you had it for other people. But this
- 6:49Speaker 1: one actually bothered me just because I don't speak that language. Now,
- 6:54Speaker 1: at least pretend to care what I think.
- 6:59Speaker 5: I don't see it as like an old man yelling
- 7:02Speaker 5: at clouds.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Were you at a super Bowl party?
- 7:05Speaker 5: No, I was on my couch eating a pizza with Drew,
- 7:08Speaker 5: but agnant woman. Yeah, yeah, I can't. I couldn't even imagine.
- 7:12Speaker 5: But I I mean, I was just as irritated as
- 7:15Speaker 5: you were. We were all texting. I was like, what
- 7:16Speaker 5: the hell is this? I can't understand a word of it,
- 7:19Speaker 5: and I think that that's the way the majority of
- 7:21Speaker 5: the people watching it felt. So I don't see it
- 7:23Speaker 5: being like old man yelling at clouds.
- 7:26Speaker 1: No.
- 7:26Speaker 2: No, I would agree. I would agree Jack Jack is
- 7:29Speaker 2: trying too hard not to be that. Let's talk about
- 7:33Speaker 2: him as if he.
- 7:34Speaker 5: I was just, you know what, just let's do that.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Let's just keep talking about Jack.
- 7:38Speaker 2: You know, it's funny. I enjoyed seeing friends, including some
- 7:44Speaker 2: friends I hadn't seen for a while, at the super
- 7:46Speaker 2: Bowl party. But it utterly ruined the super Bowl. I
- 7:52Speaker 2: couldn't really hear the play by play, and I'm a
- 7:55Speaker 2: football fan. I couldn't hear the audio and the commercials
- 7:57Speaker 2: very well at all unless we turned it up just
- 8:00Speaker 2: definitely loud, which we didn't. I would like to go
- 8:04Speaker 2: to the party and then go home and watch the
- 8:05Speaker 2: Super Bowl. I used to do that. Maybe I will again.
- 8:08Speaker 1: In this case, given the halftime show and the game,
- 8:12Speaker 1: You're better off where you were because the game was
- 8:14Speaker 1: not where I was alone on a couch show. Because
- 8:16Speaker 1: my kids I made them watch some of the pregame
- 8:19Speaker 1: with me. Uh but I was going to make them
- 8:21Speaker 1: watch a game and they had no interest, and as
- 8:23Speaker 1: we were by myself, but the game was so damn boring.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Well, and honestly it was like five years ago that
- 8:28Speaker 2: we were both like, oh, the commercials. The commercials this
- 8:30Speaker 2: went to was that to jump the Shark. I mean,
- 8:33Speaker 2: you can watch them before the game, you can watch
- 8:35Speaker 2: them after the game, you can see them ranked and
- 8:37Speaker 2: the rest of it. I don't, I don't know.
- 8:39Speaker 3: You know, if this was your first time watching the
- 8:41Speaker 3: Super Bowl, you know, maybe you're a teenager or something
- 8:44Speaker 3: like that, you would think this is terrible.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah. My oldest took in a chunk of the Super
- 8:49Speaker 1: Bowl waiting for bad Bum Bunny, and he just he
- 8:51Speaker 1: doesn't understand the appeal. But there wasn't a lot of
- 8:53Speaker 1: appeal there even if you're a football fan.
- 8:55Speaker 2: No, no, it was terrible.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Which you can't control the games or turn out m
- 9:01Speaker 1: m a lot of punting, a lot of punty if
- 9:04Speaker 1: you really like plunning so much punting.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Now, the important question is Jack, were you shirtless? And
- 9:09Speaker 5: did you drop some of Michael's dip on your chest
- 9:12Speaker 5: and use a free doo to scoop it off? That's
- 9:14Speaker 5: what everyone wants.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I did not, I was sure did, but I eat
- 9:18Speaker 1: a lot of that dip. It's cream cheese, sour cream cheese.
- 9:25Speaker 3: There's beans in there too.
- 9:26Speaker 1: And refried beans eating with chips, which I'm going to
- 9:29Speaker 1: eat some of this up when I get home today
- 9:31Speaker 1: and eat more.
- 9:33Speaker 6: So good.
- 9:34Speaker 1: My son made it. I had him make it. I
- 9:35Speaker 1: gave him the recipe and he made the whole thing.
- 9:37Speaker 1: He likes cooking and I don't. So see, he liked
- 9:39Speaker 1: make it. He didn't need to bite a bit because
- 9:41Speaker 1: he didn't like that sort of thing, but he was
- 9:43Speaker 1: happy to make it. So it worked out for me.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I watched the game he heated, brought it to me.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Wow, it's like you've got a private chef. Yeah, feed him,
- 9:52Speaker 2: you know, pay him room and board.
- 9:53Speaker 1: But that reminds me. I'll end with this. I saw
- 9:57Speaker 1: a good tweet that was going around last week to
- 10:00Speaker 1: get on the show. It was a woman talking about
- 10:02Speaker 1: taking in immigrants, and she said she was in her
- 10:06Speaker 1: kitchen and she was showing this woman from Haiti and
- 10:09Speaker 1: she said, I brought her in. She lives here, she
- 10:11Speaker 1: does all my cooking and cleaning, and it's been awesome.
- 10:14Speaker 1: And somebody said, there's a name for that.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Wow, I brought a black person across the ocean and
- 10:25Speaker 2: now she does all the work.
- 10:26Speaker 1: She lives my house and does all my work.
- 10:28Speaker 5: Right, are you sure we stopped doing that a while ago?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Yeah? That stuffed like what thirty forty years ago at least. No, Well,
- 10:38Speaker 3: I guess that's it.
