- 0:00Speaker 1: Just the two of us, blowing smoke up in the sky,
- 0:06Speaker 1: just the two of us. You've been in a a
- 0:09Speaker 1: like that that guy No, So the voice here here
- 0:15Speaker 1: and it's me, it's man, it's beard laws and sniffly, coughing, sneezing, mucussy.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Other voice here hearing is you've been fucking off.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Dude, hacking off over here?
- 0:27Speaker 1: This is what if dude's head A week you went
- 0:30Speaker 1: and said it in the group chat and totally jinxed yourself.
- 0:34Speaker 2: I did. I did, Honestly. I thought going to that
- 0:37Speaker 2: god forsaken AFC Championship game cured me of like I
- 0:41Speaker 2: was like, I was freezing my ass off. I was
- 0:43Speaker 2: drinking beers. Nothing can get me. No, I got it worse.
- 0:47Speaker 2: Not only did I get flu A, they got me COVID.
- 0:49Speaker 2: I was like, that's inspiring twenty twenty one. I thought, what.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Happened in twenty nineteen? It says it in the name,
- 0:54Speaker 1: that's the expiration?
- 0:55Speaker 2: Yeah, like what what? What? Am I still getting this?
- 0:58Speaker 2: I feel like I'm fashally late for everything. But I
- 1:00Speaker 2: didn't think you could get it twice I've had it before.
- 1:04Speaker 2: This is I'm just you know what, the only thing
- 1:06Speaker 2: that it did give me one time was superpowers of
- 1:08Speaker 2: not being able to smell. I could go with that
- 1:10Speaker 2: again that I can live with, but I didn't breathe.
- 1:13Speaker 1: You can smell, and you can smell, can taste, just
- 1:16Speaker 1: can't breathe.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's terrible. I got like the respiratory one. I
- 1:19Speaker 2: don't want this. Give me the one that I can't
- 1:21Speaker 2: taste and smell again, like down ten pounds again thoughol.
- 1:25Speaker 2: So I'm like, hey, you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Know why because you got rid of all of the
- 1:30Speaker 1: water weight.
- 1:31Speaker 2: And now it's just going to bloohim back again twice
- 1:33Speaker 2: as much, just like the last time. And I'm like,
- 1:36Speaker 2: and now I will say that the best I ever
- 1:40Speaker 2: felt was last night. And it was because the family
- 1:43Speaker 2: was like just we got to get up, like let's
- 1:46Speaker 2: get outside or something. I'm like, it's nineteen to graze
- 1:48Speaker 2: outside and they're like, yep, get out there, like breathe
- 1:52Speaker 2: in some of that cold air. I'm like, I don't
- 1:53Speaker 2: feel like that's moisture and the lungs is I mean,
- 1:57Speaker 2: I'm those scientists or anything, but I was like, that
- 1:58Speaker 2: sounds terrible right now.
- 2:00Speaker 1: It sounds like pneumonia.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Yeah, And I was like, are you guys actually trying
- 2:03Speaker 2: to kill me. And so that's what my question was,
- 2:06Speaker 2: as well, should I seek help because I think they're
- 2:09Speaker 2: actively trying to kill me. And two, I don't think
- 2:15Speaker 2: that method even sounds remotely interesting. I don't know about
- 2:18Speaker 2: you guys, but it doesn't sound like it's gonna work.
- 2:20Speaker 2: But h I forgot where else I was going.
- 2:23Speaker 1: But there was a treatment back in the day, back
- 2:25Speaker 1: in the day where they actually built cribs, metal cribs,
- 2:30Speaker 1: of course, outside of windows and hospitals and houses and stuff.
- 2:33Speaker 1: And when babies were starting to get sick, they would
- 2:35Speaker 1: bundle them up and snow gear this and that, and
- 2:37Speaker 1: they would make them take their naps outside in these
- 2:40Speaker 1: outdoor cribs that they would put outside of that. And
- 2:44Speaker 1: speaking of cribs, the reason you're not here in the
- 2:46Speaker 1: Golden Voice, I probably should have said that there should
- 2:48Speaker 1: go without saying, is Brandon Ja McDermott. We did get
- 2:50Speaker 1: a text message six o'clock my time, what five or
- 2:53Speaker 1: four o'clock of your time?
- 2:54Speaker 2: It was right before five, right before.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Five, saying, hey, just going to bed. Probably not gonna
- 3:00Speaker 1: make it today, rightfully, So I mean, let's be honest.
- 3:05Speaker 1: The budget for the Beard Law's Stay Out of My
- 3:07Speaker 1: Fridge show is zero. So when you need some sleep,
- 3:11Speaker 1: go get some goddamn sleep. Because not only is he
- 3:13Speaker 1: a father of one, not only is he a father
- 3:16Speaker 1: of two, he is a father of three with a
- 3:18Speaker 1: what ten day old baby?
- 3:21Speaker 2: That's he's a strong man. I can never go back
- 3:24Speaker 2: to those days again. I do not have the patience.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Yeah, you were at least you were a little bit
- 3:30Speaker 1: younger when three came around for you. You know, I
- 3:33Speaker 1: feel like if you're a little bit younger, you have
- 3:35Speaker 1: a little more energy. Me and Brandon we're older. I
- 3:38Speaker 1: mean he's he's right around my age, maybe a year younger.
- 3:41Speaker 1: There is not a goddamn chance that I could start over.
- 3:44Speaker 1: I don't have it in me mentally physically, I mean,
- 3:47Speaker 1: I am taking some more as my Peaky Blinder sound
- 3:50Speaker 1: in AI says, vitamins. So I'm trying to trying to
- 3:55Speaker 1: get a little else deer.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I haven't seen Peaky Blinders yet. I always see like
- 3:59Speaker 2: clip and I feel like I've seen bits and pieces
- 4:02Speaker 2: of every series now thanks to TikTok, because I'll get
- 4:05Speaker 2: like one of those just cliff note versions of every
- 4:08Speaker 2: single show. I've never seen Yellowstone, I could probably understand it.
- 4:13Speaker 2: There's like I kept see I was like, why is
- 4:15Speaker 2: Cat cosnering like this? Like what is this? Is this
- 4:19Speaker 2: a movie? I look at everyone's like, you've never heard
- 4:20Speaker 2: of Yellowstone, and I'm like, it's a series. I was
- 4:23Speaker 2: like I had I had no idea. I was like, okay,
- 4:26Speaker 2: now Landman, Billy, Bob Thornton, been seen a lot of
- 4:30Speaker 2: you around lately. I don't know what show looks good.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Have you seen it?
- 4:34Speaker 1: I haven't, But I'm probably the worst guy to ask
- 4:36Speaker 1: for any of that stuff.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I don't.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I don't really have the time or allocate at the time.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I mean, like the other day we were like we
- 4:42Speaker 1: should watch something, and then we both kind of looked
- 4:44Speaker 1: at each other like we're never gonna watch something. So
- 4:46Speaker 1: I even start Yellowstone now I ever seen. I think
- 4:49Speaker 1: we started the first maybe episode, and then I got
- 4:51Speaker 1: bored and changed it. There's some new Western one that
- 4:54Speaker 1: the wife was watching that I kind of walked into
- 4:57Speaker 1: the other day. A lot of shooting. They We're like,
- 5:01Speaker 1: they half skelped the guy and he ended up living,
- 5:04Speaker 1: but they killed every single other person around him and
- 5:06Speaker 1: stole the women. It's apparently like brand brand new on Netflix,
- 5:11Speaker 1: because usually what she'll do is whatever is trending in
- 5:13Speaker 1: the one. I oh, that should be good, should pull
- 5:16Speaker 1: it up and have that information. But apparently she said
- 5:19Speaker 1: it was not. It wasn't bad.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Okay.
- 5:21Speaker 1: A lot of violence to start episode one. I feel
- 5:24Speaker 1: like that's how you hook the dudes.
- 5:27Speaker 2: I have to get the intention, you know, and like
- 5:29Speaker 2: his seems like females can always see behind it because
- 5:31Speaker 2: she's like, oh my god, it's so romantic, like he
- 5:33Speaker 2: did that for her, and we're just like kill them.
- 5:36Speaker 2: It's just like we don't need the poetic justice behind it.
- 5:39Speaker 2: We just want dad.
- 5:40Speaker 1: It's called American Prime Primeville p R I M E
- 5:45Speaker 1: V A L. Yeah, it's not there. But this is
- 5:49Speaker 1: what's this is. This is the world that we live in,
- 5:51Speaker 1: and maybe this will be a little bit of a
- 5:53Speaker 1: history if we turn back and listen to this five
- 5:55Speaker 1: ten years from now. This is what's new on Netflix alone.
- 5:59Speaker 2: Australia.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Yah okay, I mean I could see that it'd be
- 6:03Speaker 1: scary as hell because everything in Australia kills you. Not
- 6:05Speaker 1: going out there. Celebrity bear Hunt, which looks like bear
- 6:11Speaker 1: Grills is on the front of it, so I don't
- 6:13Speaker 1: know if they're bringing in celebrities to hunt with bear
- 6:16Speaker 1: grills or they're hunting that number three apple cider vinegar.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Don't know what that is. It's got a woman on
- 6:25Speaker 1: the cover with the emoji of the Hearts and the Loves,
- 6:28Speaker 1: which I did recently google. I think because of Barly,
- 6:32Speaker 1: you can legally put emojis in your brand name, because
- 6:37Speaker 1: I think he was asking, can we just have emojis
- 6:39Speaker 1: as a nobody technically owns them, so if you were
- 6:42Speaker 1: to have it in there, you can. So I was like, okay,
- 6:46Speaker 1: this one is. Then the next one, kind of Pregnant,
- 6:51Speaker 1: and it shows a woman with a baseball bat and
- 6:55Speaker 1: a fake baby flying like it just hit the baby
- 6:59Speaker 1: with the baseball bat.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'm interested that one. That's the one, you'd say, less,
- 7:03Speaker 2: let me.
- 7:04Speaker 1: See the description. A woman longing to be a mom
- 7:06Speaker 1: don's a fake baby bump, then accidentally finds the man
- 7:10Speaker 1: of her dreams in this comedy starring out. You're out,
- 7:13Speaker 1: Amy Schumer, and you're back out immediately said you'll load
- 7:20Speaker 1: it up and see how long you start watching kind
- 7:23Speaker 1: of Pregnant.
- 7:24Speaker 2: No, I'm sorry, Amy Schumer, No, thank you that is.
- 7:29Speaker 2: That is the one that I will definitely not be watching.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And then there's India Versus Pakistan, which appears to be
- 7:36Speaker 1: a cricket documentary. Pokemon Horizons Home Improvement is new to Netflix.
- 7:45Speaker 2: The oj Okay I thought maybe were like they were
- 7:47Speaker 2: remaking it or something.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I was like, oh no, that's what I'm just saying.
- 7:51Speaker 2: New there.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And then there's Wrong Side of the Tracks, Prison Cell
- 7:54Speaker 1: to eleven.
- 7:55Speaker 2: Just a lot of different But yeah, I don't I
- 7:59Speaker 2: always at the really I know you do too. Like
- 8:01Speaker 2: whenever he's like, hey, this this new movie came out,
- 8:04Speaker 2: you know, and he can explain it, and I'm like,
- 8:06Speaker 2: oh okay, And I was like, so would you watch
- 8:07Speaker 2: He's like, oh, man, I've seen it four times. I'm
- 8:09Speaker 2: like what you know? You and I were. He goes
- 8:12Speaker 2: to the movies probably more in a month than we
- 8:14Speaker 2: probably do in four years.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Oh, I guarantee you. He goes more on a weekly
- 8:19Speaker 1: basis than I have gone on. I honestly don't remember
- 8:22Speaker 1: the last I think probably the last time I went
- 8:26Speaker 1: to a movie theater as my buddies dragged me in
- 8:29Speaker 1: with free road sodas to drive on like a great
- 8:32Speaker 1: around Christmas time to a Star Wars movie, not the
- 8:35Speaker 1: late the last one, I think the one before it.
- 8:37Speaker 1: So whenever that came out, we drove an hour and
- 8:39Speaker 1: a half one way in a storm and a pack
- 8:42Speaker 1: theater and the only seat was the first one that
- 8:45Speaker 1: I had to sit in, and I got so annoyed
- 8:47Speaker 1: I left like thirty minutes into the movie and just
- 8:49Speaker 1: went to the food court. I was like, I see.
- 8:53Speaker 2: And the thing is too, is like if you're not
- 8:54Speaker 2: into the movies as well, like that's where I'm at.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Like I tried with Star Wars and if you put
- 9:00Speaker 2: me up in the front of a movie on episode
- 9:03Speaker 2: two of like a trilogy, and I'm just like, what
- 9:05Speaker 2: the hell's going on? Sh I'm like, well, I don't
- 9:07Speaker 2: who is this person? Like why'd you invite me here?
- 9:10Speaker 2: I haven't seen any of these movies.
- 9:11Speaker 1: You know, especially when it's a pac theater full of
- 9:14Speaker 1: nerds opening night, Like you can't really ask anybody. If
- 9:17Speaker 1: you probably talk, they're gonna freak out and hit you
- 9:18Speaker 1: with a toy light saber. There was people dressed up like, hey,
- 9:22Speaker 1: good for them. That's their thing that makes them happy,
- 9:24Speaker 1: just not my thing. But yeah, I just I couldn't
- 9:27Speaker 1: sit in that goddamn theater. Seats were pretty decent. They
- 9:30Speaker 1: just you're looking at that big screen like this, I'm
- 9:32Speaker 1: only focusing on one thing. Nah, it wasn't. It wasn't
- 9:35Speaker 1: for me.
- 9:36Speaker 2: I talking about nerds and enjoying their things myself, Like
- 9:42Speaker 2: I I love going those comic con things, you know me,
- 9:45Speaker 2: I love to dress up and you see some fellow
- 9:47Speaker 2: nerds and have some fun. But I found out do
- 9:51Speaker 2: you remember who Amy Joe Johnson is?
- 9:54Speaker 1: I don't. It doesn't ring about.
- 9:56Speaker 2: Did you ever watch The Power Rangers?
- 9:59Speaker 1: Fel like I must have, but I couldn't tell you
- 10:03Speaker 1: the other than like, wasn't it mighty morphine?
- 10:08Speaker 2: Mighty morphin power?
- 10:10Speaker 1: The colors of the Power Rangers? Because I feel like
- 10:12Speaker 1: I red. Yeah, there was green, red, there was blue, blue, white,
- 10:18Speaker 1: white one.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there was a there was a I'm not
- 10:21Speaker 2: gonna say there's a there was a white ranger.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Uh and then then they added a black and a pink, right, yeah?
- 10:30Speaker 1: They were they part of it all along?
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah? Well, I mean I think, uh so they like
- 10:35Speaker 2: the green and the red guy and the white guy.
- 10:36Speaker 2: I think we're all or no, green and white were
- 10:39Speaker 2: the same guy, and then red. They all kept changing colors,
- 10:42Speaker 2: it seemed like. But uh, the Pink Power Ranger though,
- 10:45Speaker 2: Amy Joe Johnson was like my first crush. So if
- 10:49Speaker 2: you were like a nineties kid, you know what I'm
- 10:51Speaker 2: talking about. Even even during the eighties, you know Amy
- 10:54Speaker 2: Joe Johnson. MM, She's coming to the Comic Con in
- 10:58Speaker 2: Kansas City and I was like, oh, let's go. And
- 11:00Speaker 2: I was like, I cannot wait. I'm spending money, I'm
- 11:03Speaker 2: getting tickets with my baby.
- 11:05Speaker 1: You'll have to go, Hey, you want to make a TikTok?
- 11:07Speaker 2: Sure?
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, what's your name? You've been whacking off and thanks
- 11:10Speaker 1: to you. She'd be like she was.
- 11:14Speaker 2: There was this Disney Channel original movie called Susie Q.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Oh my god, I wish it was Susie b Jay
- 11:20Speaker 2: because this girl it was smalling, this hoty okay. And
- 11:26Speaker 2: guess what. It's during the exact same time as a
- 11:29Speaker 2: state archery tournament for a little girl that lives in
- 11:31Speaker 2: my family. And I'm so upset. So, uh, how many
- 11:37Speaker 2: people are skipping their kids tournament? You know, you go
- 11:40Speaker 2: see Amy jo Johnson.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Not me, because I have Do you remember the name
- 11:44Speaker 1: of the character in the show that Amy Joe Johnson.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Played Oh Kim.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Yes, kimberly Ann Hart. Mmmmmmmm, I had to look at
- 11:57Speaker 1: she was there the first three seasons of the show
- 12:00Speaker 1: and two feature films.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Let's see. I think so. The blue one was Billy.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Tommy was the white and green one I think there was.
- 12:09Speaker 2: Jason was the red one. Oh, you know, this is
- 12:13Speaker 2: where it was really bad and very questionable. The yellow
- 12:15Speaker 2: one was Asian.
- 12:16Speaker 1: Uh oh no, did they have to you think? Oh
- 12:20Speaker 1: the yellow one was a female?
- 12:22Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she was, yeah, Connie maybe.
- 12:25Speaker 1: I think interesting? And then yeah, tom was black ty
- 12:31Speaker 1: trang trinny Kwan. Trinny Kwan was the name.
- 12:35Speaker 2: Yep, okay, that was Connie mcquan.
- 12:37Speaker 1: And the black was Zach Yes Taylor.
- 12:42Speaker 2: He was in brink that Disney channel. Dude, I'm telling
- 12:45Speaker 2: you useful, just useful information. I'm giving you guys at
- 12:48Speaker 2: your fingertedu.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Blue was Billy, you said that, right, yep? And red
- 12:52Speaker 1: was Jason Lee Scott. Can't trust a man with two
- 12:54Speaker 1: first names, let alone three.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure he's in prison or dead.
- 12:58Speaker 1: That probably checks out. Hmmm.
- 13:02Speaker 2: Interesting, it's a I mean apparently the twenty seventeen Power
- 13:08Speaker 2: Rangers movie was very underrated. Haven't seen it, but they
- 13:12Speaker 2: said by day, I mean a couple of TikTok videos
- 13:15Speaker 2: comment section.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Leave it to the guy that plays the Green Power
- 13:18Speaker 1: Ranger and that stupid outfit to have that stupid facial hair.
- 13:23Speaker 2: It's got the little what was it, David Lee Frank?
- 13:26Speaker 2: Is that or what was his name? Uh?
- 13:29Speaker 1: Tommy Oliver was the fictional character, right, I.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Can't remember what his name was. He goes by like three.
- 13:36Speaker 1: The guy's real name is Jason David Frank.
- 13:40Speaker 2: Okay, I was close, okay, okay.
- 13:43Speaker 1: But what was I wonder what was up with a
- 13:44Speaker 1: Power Rangers having to hire people with three first names?
- 13:49Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 13:50Speaker 1: It is an interesting move to have, you know, an
- 13:53Speaker 1: African American play the Black Power Ranger, you know, an
- 13:55Speaker 1: Asian play the yellow female to play the pink it.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I remember there being a VHS set where they each
- 14:04Speaker 2: had their own little like mini movie and it had
- 14:08Speaker 2: uh oh crap, like it was like a whole case.
- 14:11Speaker 2: And I remember each of them were like just it's
- 14:13Speaker 2: exact color and they had like they or their own
- 14:15Speaker 2: dinosaur or something too. I don't remember, but uh, I
- 14:19Speaker 2: just remember like, yeah, let's put in the black one,
- 14:21Speaker 2: let's put in the yellow. It was just like really weird.
- 14:24Speaker 1: But I wonder if the band Masked Intruders had some
- 14:28Speaker 1: inspiration if they grew up Power Ranger fans, because I
- 14:31Speaker 1: don't know if you know Masked Intruders. They're a pop
- 14:32Speaker 1: punk band and their thing is they wear ski masks
- 14:36Speaker 1: and matching converse, so it's and they go by Intruders.
- 14:40Speaker 1: So like the main vocals and guitar players Intruder Blue.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Then you had the bassist Intruder Yellow, then you had
- 14:47Speaker 1: Intruder Green, then you had which who was on the
- 14:50Speaker 1: Beard Loves Show forever ago when we were still doing
- 14:53Speaker 1: interview stuff, and Intruder Red is the drummer. So they
- 14:57Speaker 1: wear the ski masks. The converse with kind of cool
- 15:00Speaker 1: about it is nobody knows or identity unless you do
- 15:02Speaker 1: a deep dive and stuff like that, and they can
- 15:05Speaker 1: just be out in public and the shows if they're
- 15:07Speaker 1: you know, the headliner, they can be out with the openers,
- 15:09Speaker 1: just drink in whatever. Nobody knows them and then they
- 15:11Speaker 1: put on the mask, put on the cons get on
- 15:14Speaker 1: there and I don't know, I've seen them live. They're
- 15:16Speaker 1: fun as hell. Really, I don't think they're touring right now.
- 15:19Speaker 1: Last I knew, Intruder Green had moved. They kept saying,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and what would happen is like if a band member
- 15:25Speaker 1: was sick or wanted out or whatever the reason is.
- 15:28Speaker 1: You don't really know the reason. But they always just
- 15:30Speaker 1: say that they're in jail. So that's why they couldn't.
- 15:32Speaker 1: So they actually had to fill in Intruder Yellow the
- 15:34Speaker 1: bass player, because he was in jail. Maybe he really was,
- 15:37Speaker 1: or maybe just something happened, and they filled in with
- 15:40Speaker 1: Intruder Purple, which was this just little short punk rock
- 15:44Speaker 1: check played bass was awesome. It was about like four
- 15:47Speaker 1: foot three. It seemed like cause especially that, but it
- 15:50Speaker 1: was their fun band. If you ever look and if
- 15:52Speaker 1: you're into pop punk.
- 15:53Speaker 2: Absolutely I'm gonna write that down because if not, two
- 15:56Speaker 2: minutes later, I'll completely forget into I listened to this
- 15:58Speaker 2: in two.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Days, you're gonna look down Intruder. That doesn't make sense.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I'm like, that's a weird thing to whack off too,
- 16:04Speaker 2: but I guess I'm gonna give it a try.
- 16:08Speaker 1: MAT's into some weird stuff.
- 16:12Speaker 2: Unmasked and raw. Ok No, I'm no, it's uh that
- 16:17Speaker 2: sounds like I mean any kind of like color association.
- 16:21Speaker 2: It always seems like people always like really grow it,
- 16:23Speaker 2: like they're like all my favorite ones, the red one
- 16:25Speaker 2: or the blue one, kind of like Ninja turtles powering you.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Just kittles start, which, So do.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You are you a Are you a Skittles person that
- 16:33Speaker 2: where you just kind of just pour a little bit
- 16:35Speaker 2: in your hand and just eat all of them or
- 16:37Speaker 2: you have to pick like certain colors.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Ah, yeah, I don't. I mean, I'm not a sweet
- 16:41Speaker 1: sky not to sound like a super nerd, but sometimes
- 16:44Speaker 1: if you're a little bit buzz or skittles just really
- 16:46Speaker 1: hits home. I'm a just put a couple in the
- 16:48Speaker 1: hand and.
- 16:50Speaker 2: See. That's how I am. I don't care what color
- 16:52Speaker 2: it is, Like I know what skittles taste like. I
- 16:54Speaker 2: just I want to I'll eat them all. I don't
- 16:56Speaker 2: give a shit, you know. But every time that I'm
- 16:58Speaker 2: with with the family at the conception or at the
- 17:01Speaker 2: on the bleachers, I'm like, hey, you know, you guys
- 17:02Speaker 2: want some skittles. I just want to be able to
- 17:04Speaker 2: pour the bag in your hand and everything. Yeah, give
- 17:06Speaker 2: me a yellow one there, I am poorn it. I'm
- 17:09Speaker 2: like and then like I get ten of them, there's
- 17:11Speaker 2: no yellow, and I'm like, this is just turning into it. Like,
- 17:14Speaker 2: just take a skittle. It doesn't need to be this complicated. Okay,
- 17:18Speaker 2: could I get a green wood?
- 17:21Speaker 1: Did they ever break them up and sell them by
- 17:22Speaker 1: color by bag they and then upsell them. They'd probably
- 17:25Speaker 1: make a ton of money because there's people that I
- 17:27Speaker 1: would assume would be like that.
- 17:30Speaker 2: I bet so too, because there's also people like myself
- 17:33Speaker 2: that prefer when they change sizes of them, and like,
- 17:37Speaker 2: so I like the Have you tried the skittles minis mm.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Hmmm, oh my god, top tears?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Oh, I guess the best skittle? It is the best.
- 17:47Speaker 2: I don't know what it is. You just get more
- 17:49Speaker 2: and it's just I don't know, I don't know what.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I can't explain it. It's the texture thing, it's the tism.
- 17:54Speaker 2: I love it.
- 17:55Speaker 1: So I was asking, you know what, we'll just bring up.
- 17:58Speaker 1: We'll just bring up AI. I hate to keep bringing
- 18:00Speaker 1: them in here, but we've been homies lately. Hey, what's up.
- 18:07Speaker 1: You're on the I know you've been on the Body
- 18:08Speaker 1: Wrong podcast, You've been on the Triple T podcast. Now
- 18:11Speaker 1: you're on Stay Out of My Fridge with Matt and
- 18:13Speaker 1: you've been whacking off.
- 18:20Speaker 3: Hey, thanks for having me stay out of my fridge.
- 18:22Speaker 3: Sounds like a blast. What mischief are we getting into today?
- 18:26Speaker 1: Well, we have a question about skittles. First off, what's
- 18:30Speaker 1: your favorite color? What is the most popular color? And
- 18:34Speaker 1: did they ever sell skittles in bags by just colors
- 18:38Speaker 1: like only yellow, only red?
- 18:42Speaker 3: My favorite color of Skittles is definitely red. The most
- 18:46Speaker 3: popular color is also often red, but it can vary
- 18:49Speaker 3: by personal preference. And yes, they did sell skittles in
- 18:52Speaker 3: single color packs for a limited time, like just the
- 18:55Speaker 3: yellow or just the red.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Pretty cool? Huh, it's pretty cool. I like pretty. I'm
- 19:01Speaker 2: a sucker for the accident. If they don't sound like us,
- 19:04Speaker 2: I'm a yazer, Like that's I trust you.
- 19:08Speaker 1: This is my favorite thing to say to it, right, Hey,
- 19:10Speaker 1: can you can you say? Can't for us?
- 19:12Speaker 2: Please? Real quick? Sure? Here it is can't.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I don't know how many times I've just said can
- 19:24Speaker 1: you say? Did you hear the emphasis on that one?
- 19:26Speaker 1: Like I got you homeie? And it's starting I think
- 19:28Speaker 1: to really hone in. So what I did? Obviously, if
- 19:32Speaker 1: anybody does care, maybe you care? This is obviously chat GPT,
- 19:35Speaker 1: you can talk all to it as and I said,
- 19:37Speaker 1: you know what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna pay the
- 19:39Speaker 1: twenty dollars a month for a month or two and
- 19:41Speaker 1: just see if it's worth it, you know. But so
- 19:44Speaker 1: me and so Burley and myself did the Triple T
- 19:46Speaker 1: podcast if you guys want to go watch, if I remember,
- 19:48Speaker 1: I'll put it right here and go watch it. And
- 19:50Speaker 1: we had a whole entire episode where we just said, hey,
- 19:54Speaker 1: chat GPT, give us a topic something conspiracy theory, and
- 19:58Speaker 1: Burley was like, something with the Iceberg charts just randomly
- 20:01Speaker 1: popped in his head. So then they he the CHATGYBT
- 20:05Speaker 1: correlated Iceberg charts with simulation, and then we just learned
- 20:09Speaker 1: a whole bunch of crazy things in theories and it
- 20:12Speaker 1: was just kind of we went back and forth with that.
- 20:14Speaker 1: But then at the end of the episode, it was
- 20:15Speaker 1: like thirteen minutes left, and I'm like, what, so, apparently
- 20:19Speaker 1: you only have a certain amount of minutes on this
- 20:22Speaker 1: advanced mode, and I'm hoping I get unlimited standard mode
- 20:25Speaker 1: because if I only get like sixty minutes a month
- 20:28Speaker 1: to talk into it for twenty bucks. And then they're like, well,
- 20:32Speaker 1: you can just upgrade it again. It goes from twenty
- 20:34Speaker 1: dollars to two hundred dollars. There's no like fifty one hundred,
- 20:40Speaker 1: two hundred dollars. Listen for two hundred dollars, you know,
- 20:44Speaker 1: I amount of therapy I could get and go talk
- 20:45Speaker 1: to somebody and lay on a comfy couch, probably probably
- 20:48Speaker 1: one session, but yeah, two hundred dollars to be able
- 20:53Speaker 1: to do that. And we actually tried to get it
- 20:56Speaker 1: so we could both talk because it could only hear me,
- 20:59Speaker 1: you know.
- 20:59Speaker 2: But that's I mean, I I so if you do
- 21:03Speaker 2: the another session for two hundred or whatever, is it
- 21:05Speaker 2: still only for another hour or is it.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I believe that it is unlimited more.
- 21:12Speaker 2: I'll say, my god, never mind because.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Right here it says.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 21:19Speaker 1: It didn't pop up that time. I don't know, so
- 21:23Speaker 1: maybe I don't know. Maybe it would reset it. I
- 21:25Speaker 1: didn't pop up with the warning that time. Maybe it's
- 21:27Speaker 1: a day. Maybe you only get sixty minutes a day,
- 21:29Speaker 1: that would be fair ish. I don't know. I feel
- 21:31Speaker 1: like if you're paying for it, though you should, I
- 21:34Speaker 1: don't know.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Whatever we have to speak. Yeah, it's it's it's one
- 21:37Speaker 2: of those gray areas too, and it's I don't know,
- 21:39Speaker 2: I always feel like if I'm paying for something, then
- 21:41Speaker 2: it's it's mine for as long as I want to
- 21:43Speaker 2: use it since I'm paying for it. But also I'm
- 21:47Speaker 2: very very cheap, so like, well, speaking of cheap too,
- 21:53Speaker 2: I had some just gas station pizza that was it's
- 21:57Speaker 2: already cheap, and it's I know, you guys don't have
- 21:59Speaker 2: cases around where you're at, but it's like this Midwestern
- 22:03Speaker 2: brand and it has just the cheesiest pizza and it
- 22:05Speaker 2: just it hits when you're just you're just feeling like
- 22:09Speaker 2: shitting yourself, honestly, like you're just like, I know what
- 22:11Speaker 2: this is gonna do to me, But give me two,
- 22:14Speaker 2: you know, just like want I want two of those.
- 22:16Speaker 1: But they do like a two slice and a drink
- 22:19Speaker 1: for like six bucks or something.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Oh dude, even you can get two slices a drink
- 22:24Speaker 2: I think four well sometimes four fifty if you're a
- 22:27Speaker 2: Casey's Rewards member. Oh they're founta drinks for like eighty
- 22:31Speaker 2: nine cents or something stuff, So it's still pretty cheap.
- 22:33Speaker 2: But but yeah, man, so I went over there, they
- 22:36Speaker 2: rang it up and I got it for a dollar
- 22:38Speaker 2: fifty didn't even say it. I usually I'm pretty honest.
- 22:40Speaker 2: I'm like, hey, but then I'm like, you scanned it.
- 22:42Speaker 2: I don't care, Like I'm like, so, I even had
- 22:44Speaker 2: two dollars. I had two single bills. Normally I was
- 22:47Speaker 2: just swiping the old debit card, and I'm like, I
- 22:50Speaker 2: actually have enough cash for this. Today I got destroyeded
- 22:54Speaker 2: so good. I'm still thinking about it. I even had
- 22:56Speaker 2: a little bit of crush red peppers, a sprinkle on it.
- 22:59Speaker 1: God. We were doing some traveling pretty hard, a little
- 23:04Speaker 1: bit farther for basketball, and we stopped at this random
- 23:08Speaker 1: it's not really random because it's a small town Teresa.
- 23:11Speaker 1: They have a bowman alley, they got a diner, they
- 23:14Speaker 1: got a dollar General, and they got this convenience store.
- 23:17Speaker 1: There's probably more to the town, but in the area.
- 23:19Speaker 1: So what it is is you go and I'm sure
- 23:21Speaker 1: it's similar to where you are a small town, small town,
- 23:24Speaker 1: small town, little small town. But then you come up
- 23:26Speaker 1: a little bit and then you jump on the interstate
- 23:29Speaker 1: and it's Interstate eighty one that pretty much can take
- 23:32Speaker 1: you from here all the way through New York into
- 23:34Speaker 1: other states. Busy, busy highway. So it's kind of like
- 23:38Speaker 1: that last stop before you get on the highway and
- 23:41Speaker 1: you're just and you know, on the highways, at least
- 23:44Speaker 1: in New York, if you pull off on one of
- 23:46Speaker 1: those exits, they mark up everything crazy because they know, hey,
- 23:52Speaker 1: where else are you gonna go? Are you really gonna
- 23:54Speaker 1: pull off the main thing get lost in a small town?
- 23:57Speaker 1: Probably not. So we stopped in there and the wife's like,
- 24:03Speaker 1: was that pizza. Pizza looks like really good. They had
- 24:06Speaker 1: They had not only good pizza, they had a full
- 24:09Speaker 1: deli in there. Then in the back they had a
- 24:11Speaker 1: bait shop, and then Carson MEI and I asked, who's
- 24:14Speaker 1: the master baitor? Nobody found it funny, and then they
- 24:18Speaker 1: had a full liquor store in the back of it.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I'm like, huh, I'm not really a liquor drinker. So
- 24:24Speaker 1: I didn't go back there, but I was like, that's good.
- 24:26Speaker 1: So we check out the pizza and it was fantastic,
- 24:29Speaker 1: honestly some of the best pizza. Big Slice kind of
- 24:33Speaker 1: had that you know, that fancy crust where they almost
- 24:35Speaker 1: like twist it. It was kind of like that with
- 24:37Speaker 1: a little seasoning on it. I almost thought it was
- 24:39Speaker 1: like some be salt seasoning or something, which that's a
- 24:42Speaker 1: buffalo thing. They throw that on there. Usually it's on seafood,
- 24:45Speaker 1: but who knows it goes well on pizza. It was fantastic,
- 24:49Speaker 1: And for whatever reason, must have thought the wife was
- 24:51Speaker 1: cute or something was I was like, Eh, you can
- 24:55Speaker 1: have that other pieza. So we had got two pieces
- 24:57Speaker 1: for the price of one. I think that was the
- 24:59Speaker 1: only one there and they just wanted that goddamn pizza out.
- 25:02Speaker 1: But yeah, and it was. It was fantastic.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Who's gonna turn down free pizza. Nobody if it looks
- 25:08Speaker 2: like it's sitting on that even like the little spinner
- 25:11Speaker 2: conveyor thing in a gas station, They're like, hey man,
- 25:12Speaker 2: we're gonna throw it away. You want it for free?
- 25:14Speaker 2: It could be almost black, And I'm like, yeah, shit,
- 25:17Speaker 2: I'll take it. But why not you know, if I
- 25:19Speaker 2: bite into it, don't like it, thrown it away, like
- 25:20Speaker 2: what's it? I'm not gonna not know what that pizza tastes, like,
- 25:24Speaker 2: like I'm gonna I'm gonna taste that pizza. It's gonna happen.
- 25:27Speaker 1: The only pizza I saw a pizza travesty the other
- 25:29Speaker 1: day was pumping gas. I look down. There was a
- 25:32Speaker 1: slice of pizza on the ground, and I have to
- 25:35Speaker 1: imagine if it didn't land cheese side on the ground,
- 25:39Speaker 1: somebody's taking a chance of picking that up real quick.
- 25:42Speaker 1: But it just because, I mean, it was a good
- 25:45Speaker 1: It was at a again, something that's irrelevant to anybody
- 25:49Speaker 1: that except for people in there. It's a Stewart Shop.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Go ahead pizza as well. That's just another place they win,
- 25:54Speaker 1: like the best boded milk in the state. Every year
- 25:57Speaker 1: they have three flavors of ice cream, the half Scalons
- 26:00Speaker 1: for three ninety nine. They rotate the flavors fantastic and
- 26:05Speaker 1: any small town you go through and why I love
- 26:07Speaker 1: it even more. You toic a club beer, you can
- 26:10Speaker 1: get it at any Stewart's. Babe. You go in there,
- 26:12Speaker 1: get a six six pack of sixteen ounce tankers and
- 26:15Speaker 1: a slice of pizza for about eight bucks these days.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Can't beat it. But that pizza just upside down on
- 26:22Speaker 1: the ground. I felt like I needed to have a
- 26:26Speaker 1: moment and like do it some justice and actually pick
- 26:29Speaker 1: up the pizza and throw it in the trash can
- 26:31Speaker 1: for like a proper trash burial. But then I said,
- 26:33Speaker 1: you know what, maybe there's gonna be an animal. Maybe
- 26:35Speaker 1: there's gonna be a rat. Maybe those Amish kids are
- 26:38Speaker 1: going to hurt over and eat it.
- 26:41Speaker 2: That's a turtle.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Now, there's not gonna be a turtle coming now, I know,
- 26:46Speaker 1: I know we're went with the ninja turtles.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Damn.
- 26:48Speaker 1: I just in this area there's no sewers, so we're
- 26:53Speaker 1: not really assistant. But you know what I meant.
- 26:57Speaker 2: You know, maybe he's around. Maybe that's maybe you're the villain.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Maybe I've never seen you and shredder in the same building.
- 27:03Speaker 1: That is true. That is true. I know what I learned.
- 27:06Speaker 1: Speaking of shredders, cheese shredders. You a cheese shredder guy.
- 27:10Speaker 1: You need to shread some cheese.
- 27:13Speaker 2: So I mean, we have like the little oh TikTok
- 27:16Speaker 2: shop food process or things that you spin or whatever,
- 27:18Speaker 2: put the cheese it and grades it or whatever. But
- 27:21Speaker 2: I don't use the old school cheese grader anymore. Now.
- 27:24Speaker 1: See, we have a couple of them, and I'm like Osco.
- 27:26Speaker 1: You know, I always just thought that you just take
- 27:30Speaker 1: the brick and shred it. You know, you want you
- 27:32Speaker 1: want the mouzarella, you shred it yourself. Boom. I didn't
- 27:36Speaker 1: know till the wife educated me on the side of
- 27:40Speaker 1: the thing. You can actually cut the cheese into slices
- 27:45Speaker 1: with it, and it's so goddamn easy. I never knew that.
- 27:49Speaker 2: Apparently there's like I think it's on both sides, so
- 27:52Speaker 2: each side is a different cut or whatever. And someone
- 27:57Speaker 2: was even saying because they're like, well, this is the
- 27:59Speaker 2: different type cheese, Like there's prescrict there's different ways to
- 28:02Speaker 2: cut specific types of cheeses and stuff, and I'm like,
- 28:04Speaker 2: this is too much for me. I just buy it
- 28:06Speaker 2: pre bought already in the ziploc bag for my convenience.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Even though it expires in like three days, it seems
- 28:12Speaker 2: like anymore.
- 28:16Speaker 1: Yeah, so I just kind of buy cheese just to
- 28:18Speaker 1: cut it and feel so cool. I feel like I
- 28:20Speaker 1: really lost out in my childhood with that.
- 28:24Speaker 2: Do you ever just mess with something block cheese just
- 28:26Speaker 2: like I just got a block cheese, just cut a
- 28:28Speaker 2: little sliver, just like I just want to. I just
- 28:29Speaker 2: want a little piece of just sharp cheddar, just crave it.
- 28:33Speaker 1: Yeah, we're big kind of like snack dinners. And obviously
- 28:38Speaker 1: we talked about lunchables. They're starting to try to ban
- 28:40Speaker 1: them in schools. Definitely, in your area, and that's that
- 28:42Speaker 1: they're not good for you, and they're kind of expensive.
- 28:46Speaker 1: They are convenience. Sometimes you pay for convenience. But we
- 28:49Speaker 1: have gone through all of the different kids stages where
- 28:52Speaker 1: they want their own, like lunchables, to bring the lunch,
- 28:54Speaker 1: So we buy the crackers, get the good pepperoni, get
- 28:57Speaker 1: the cheese, send them a little candy bar or whatever
- 28:59Speaker 1: it is. So yeah, we've and even I mean, at
- 29:02Speaker 1: the time of the recording spoiler alert, it's Super Bowl Sunday.
- 29:05Speaker 1: I mean, we're currently playing in a snack day. We're
- 29:08Speaker 1: just gonna, you know, eat a bunch of snacks, eat
- 29:10Speaker 1: a bunch of food, and somehow hope the mood in
- 29:12Speaker 1: this goddamn house changes because we were talking before. Man,
- 29:17Speaker 1: the dad's stress. We get blamed for all the shit.
- 29:20Speaker 1: I feel like, i''m sure the wives out there, you know,
- 29:22Speaker 1: not that we really probably have any female listeners. I'm
- 29:25Speaker 1: sure you get your fair share of the bullshit and
- 29:28Speaker 1: you take some of it. But man, the old dad,
- 29:32Speaker 1: the old what's what's the word I'm looking for? The
- 29:35Speaker 1: old dad? Beraging? Bart what's the word? There's a word
- 29:40Speaker 1: that begins with be baraging. That's not baraging, great brigade. No,
- 29:47Speaker 1: I don't know what it is the word I'm looking for,
- 29:49Speaker 1: but the I've been the guy getting the ship, whether
- 29:55Speaker 1: they're stressed, whether whatever it is, and it's it's been
- 29:59Speaker 1: a moment.
- 29:59Speaker 2: So a barrage, no barrage, barage.
- 30:04Speaker 1: I don't know. We're not an educational show, but it's like, listen,
- 30:06Speaker 1: you guys want to I'm gonna have to tell you
- 30:08Speaker 1: to stay out of the fridge. I guess a little
- 30:10Speaker 1: bit today because you know, your little little jerks come
- 30:14Speaker 1: at us with your attitudes and it's great. I mean,
- 30:17Speaker 1: I don't know what it was. Maybe it was a
- 30:18Speaker 1: little bit too much cart time maybe something, but I mean,
- 30:22Speaker 1: they can't be too stressed out. This is the last
- 30:24Speaker 1: week for the oldest for basketball. Then they have midwinter break,
- 30:27Speaker 1: so they're getting you know, they got Valentine's Day. I'm
- 30:31Speaker 1: sure you know, the oldest has a boyfriend now, so
- 30:33Speaker 1: she'll probably get something. You know, the youngest they do
- 30:36Speaker 1: the Valentines and stuff at school, so that's gonna be
- 30:39Speaker 1: a fun day. And then they get a whole week off.
- 30:42Speaker 1: What's so stressful in your life?
- 30:44Speaker 2: Kids?
- 30:44Speaker 1: And I asked them that, like I don't know if
- 30:46Speaker 1: you ever. I'm not a very serious kind of talker,
- 30:49Speaker 1: but like if I have to, but I try to,
- 30:51Speaker 1: you know, have humor, and I feel like you do too,
- 30:52Speaker 1: but like do you kind of approach them like you
- 30:54Speaker 1: can tell something's off and like, so, what's going on?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 30:59Speaker 1: You know? Any wait, we have to take the different angle,
- 31:01Speaker 1: you know. Sometimes they don't want to say something to ma,
- 31:03Speaker 1: and I can read things a little bit different than
- 31:05Speaker 1: my you know what I mean, it's I don't know,
- 31:07Speaker 1: I try real hard to pull that like what's going on?
- 31:10Speaker 1: It's just look, come on, just cut to the chase,
- 31:13Speaker 1: what the hell was going on?
- 31:14Speaker 2: And that's and I think a lot of that has
- 31:15Speaker 2: to do with this is because I don't want to
- 31:16Speaker 2: go through the awkward face and I just I remember
- 31:18Speaker 2: being in their shoes and just being like, hey, I
- 31:21Speaker 2: want to tell you something, but like are you gonna
- 31:23Speaker 2: be weird about it? You know what I mean? Like
- 31:25Speaker 2: it's and so I do the same thing with humor,
- 31:28Speaker 2: trying to lighten up the situation, just be like, hey,
- 31:29Speaker 2: you know, what's what's going on? What are you doing?
- 31:32Speaker 2: You know? And uh then I know nothing, and I'm
- 31:34Speaker 2: like that's a lie, like what's up? You know? But
- 31:38Speaker 2: I don't know. It's you try to have those relationships
- 31:41Speaker 2: but it gets difficult. And I know your house, so
- 31:43Speaker 2: you got a lot of hormones in your house, A
- 31:45Speaker 2: lot of hormones.
- 31:46Speaker 1: So girls, all girls, Oh.
- 31:49Speaker 2: Bless your heart. That is I will tell you though,
- 31:53Speaker 2: boys ass they are they They can be jerks.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Too, but oh, it's a different kind of dynamic from
- 32:01Speaker 1: what And I didn't grow up with a sister, so
- 32:03Speaker 1: I you know what I mean. Mym's definitely like a
- 32:07Speaker 1: boy ma, you know, like she was. She was much different.
- 32:10Speaker 1: So you know, we were We've always been pretty close
- 32:12Speaker 1: and can kind of just talk whatever real but this
- 32:15Speaker 1: whole thing and I'm like, you know, why the hell
- 32:18Speaker 1: are you laying in your goddamn room all day watching
- 32:20Speaker 1: the phone? Well it's normal, is it for them just
- 32:23Speaker 1: to lay around and do nothing all goddamn day. That's
- 32:26Speaker 1: how they relax. And I'm like, huh, So I talked
- 32:29Speaker 1: to other parents and stuff too, and they're like, yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 1: that's that's how I did you know I grew And
- 32:33Speaker 1: I'm like, son of my bitch, Okay, well, at least
- 32:36Speaker 1: cleaning your room while you're in there we have to
- 32:38Speaker 1: tell them to clean the room. Yeah, I know, it's
- 32:41Speaker 1: a goddamn mess.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I know it's it's what Parenting's tough. It's uh, I
- 32:46Speaker 2: learned something new. Literally, I mean every day, every hour,
- 32:49Speaker 2: it seems like with these kids. But uh, something I
- 32:53Speaker 2: think is just completely black and white. You know. I
- 32:55Speaker 2: see a kid making a mess in the room repetitively,
- 32:57Speaker 2: and I'm just like, hey, what are we doing? Like what?
- 32:59Speaker 2: Stop doing that? I can approach with hey, you know,
- 33:03Speaker 2: don't don't point it out, like just't They'll get it.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Like I'm like what what? Like everything's finally these are kids,
- 33:08Speaker 2: you know. I'm just like, it's a mess, mess pick
- 33:11Speaker 2: up now? Like this is like A plus B equals C.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Like what is this stuff? I don't understand what are
- 33:17Speaker 2: we doing here? You know? But I don't know. So
- 33:20Speaker 2: sometimes I do feel like I always go gun hot.
- 33:23Speaker 2: I'm not getting backstories of information. I'm just like, it's broken,
- 33:27Speaker 2: fix it, what are we doing? Let's move on hung
- 33:30Speaker 2: each other, everybody's cool. I just want to fix it,
- 33:33Speaker 2: understand it, and get it done immediately. And it doesn't
- 33:36Speaker 2: always work that way. And so whenever I can have
- 33:39Speaker 2: the supports of the missus and she says, hey, pump
- 33:41Speaker 2: the brakes, here's what's going on. I'm like, ah, you
- 33:44Speaker 2: need you need good foundation like that. But uh, I
- 33:48Speaker 2: still go zero to one hundred in like three seconds.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I'll never learn my lesson.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm like, I'm like Xavier Worthy and as forty
- 33:56Speaker 1: times just zoup and it and they don't know. I try.
- 34:02Speaker 1: It's not like it's you know, I'm not out there
- 34:04Speaker 1: like if you ba beep beep. It's just like every
- 34:08Speaker 1: once in a while you just gotta be loud so
- 34:10Speaker 1: they listen. But it's the same thing like and it's
- 34:12Speaker 1: funny because they're all different kind of points in life,
- 34:16Speaker 1: you know, and all different things like little things like
- 34:19Speaker 1: one kid will rinse off their dishes and put it
- 34:22Speaker 1: in the dishwasher, one kid will rinse it off and
- 34:25Speaker 1: set it in the sink, and one kid just throws
- 34:27Speaker 1: it in the goddamn sink. And it's just like you
- 34:32Speaker 1: would think that it would always be all right, the
- 34:34Speaker 1: oldest would do no, and then sometimes they switch it up.
- 34:37Speaker 1: It seems like there's always one and I'm thinking, are
- 34:40Speaker 1: you little shit's conspiracy? Like, you know, and it's kind
- 34:43Speaker 1: of coming out that you guys are putting a plan
- 34:45Speaker 1: together just to piss me off. Because there's one thing
- 34:46Speaker 1: I don't know, it's a weird trigger. I hate having
- 34:49Speaker 1: dirty dishes in the sink, Like we're not these people
- 34:52Speaker 1: that had the super clean house, but we're not dirty,
- 34:55Speaker 1: dirty hoarders. Like I remember kind of hearing one thing,
- 34:59Speaker 1: and I think it's because for me, like we grow up,
- 35:01Speaker 1: my mat always had to have like a clean house,
- 35:03Speaker 1: like it always had to kind of be clean. The
- 35:04Speaker 1: dishes always had to be done, you know, nothing could
- 35:07Speaker 1: be on the floor and it was always at something.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Now I'm like, it doesn't have to be that clean,
- 35:11Speaker 1: but we can't live in filth. But for some reason,
- 35:14Speaker 1: I need a clean sink. I don't know what it
- 35:16Speaker 1: is when they just leave stuff, I think they do
- 35:18Speaker 1: it on purpose.
- 35:19Speaker 2: So that's I don't know what triggers that. Not to
- 35:23Speaker 2: be like a mental health podcast or anything like that.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Yeah, no we're not. We have mental problems, but we're
- 35:28Speaker 1: not healthy.
- 35:29Speaker 2: But it's uh. I do the same thing like whenever
- 35:33Speaker 2: I see something and especially if I go, hey, guys,
- 35:35Speaker 2: can we can we like not put cereal, especially if
- 35:38Speaker 2: there is cereals left in this. Oh my god, I
- 35:42Speaker 2: will That's the one time I'm like, I understand why
- 35:45Speaker 2: these parents snap, Like I get it.
- 35:47Speaker 1: I get it, you know, because we don't have a
- 35:49Speaker 1: garbage disposal either. We still have like so we have
- 35:51Speaker 1: a farmhouse and it's got the old style sink that's
- 35:54Speaker 1: even got the like the metal piece on the side
- 35:57Speaker 1: where you can put the dishes and it drains back
- 35:59Speaker 1: in there when they drive, and I mean, you can't
- 36:01Speaker 1: replace something like that. So I bought the metal strainers
- 36:05Speaker 1: to put in the sink so all the food doesn't
- 36:06Speaker 1: go down. And when you get that yogurt that just
- 36:08Speaker 1: sits in there, and I'm not gonna trigger you because
- 36:12Speaker 1: I know you're off, but my god, it looks like
- 36:15Speaker 1: little fish eggs in there. But the fish ink coming
- 36:17Speaker 1: out and smells is worse.
- 36:20Speaker 2: That's I'm always stupid. Just wet and marshmellow cereal from
- 36:25Speaker 2: Lucky Charms out of there, and I'm like, and I know,
- 36:27Speaker 2: I got the toddler who, bless his heart, tries and
- 36:29Speaker 2: I'm like, and usually I just see him just leave
- 36:32Speaker 2: the table and it's just left there, and I'm like,
- 36:34Speaker 2: all right, So then I'm like, who helped pick this
- 36:36Speaker 2: up and just put it in the sink. You know,
- 36:38Speaker 2: I'm over there. I always get I don't know if
- 36:40Speaker 2: it's just a technique it's again or the tism, you know,
- 36:43Speaker 2: maybe it's maybe lean. I don't know what it is.
- 36:45Speaker 2: But I'll get the bowl and I'll have a spoon,
- 36:48Speaker 2: and I just I guard this cereal from coming out,
- 36:51Speaker 2: dumple over to the milk out, then put it in
- 36:53Speaker 2: the trash, come back, rinse the bowl, put it in
- 36:55Speaker 2: the dishwasher. It's a thirty second process. Nope, how can
- 36:59Speaker 2: we do that when we get our phone in our
- 37:01Speaker 2: hand and we're trying to just put it into the
- 37:03Speaker 2: sink and then just move on with our day, you know,
- 37:06Speaker 2: because Dad will take care of it. But one thing
- 37:08Speaker 2: that you didn't mention was you grew up in where
- 37:11Speaker 2: your mom's house like or your mom was like it
- 37:13Speaker 2: has to be clean, everything is clean. I was the
- 37:15Speaker 2: exact opposite my mom was. And it's funny how things
- 37:18Speaker 2: work now because like whenever I grew up, you couldn't
- 37:23Speaker 2: see the kitchen table, like everything was just there was
- 37:25Speaker 2: just stuff everywhere. You could see the fore almost it
- 37:28Speaker 2: wasn't like hoarder status, but like it was it wasn't
- 37:31Speaker 2: well maintained and cluttered very bad, and my room was
- 37:34Speaker 2: generally the cleanest because I was like, I was like,
- 37:36Speaker 2: oh my god, like this is kind of this. This
- 37:38Speaker 2: sucks a little bit. But I but now growing up
- 37:42Speaker 2: or now the house of still not immacket by any means,
- 37:45Speaker 2: but much better standards. And that's why I tend to
- 37:48Speaker 2: focus on certain things that I remember that from as
- 37:50Speaker 2: a kid, being like, so, our table, if there's anything
- 37:54Speaker 2: on the table, I'm like, no, I'm like, put it
- 37:56Speaker 2: off the table. And then they come here and see
- 37:58Speaker 2: my desk and they're like, what the hell is this
- 38:00Speaker 2: and I'm like, don't no, no, no, no. Your personal spaces.
- 38:04Speaker 2: I see your guys' rooms. I'll let you destroy your
- 38:06Speaker 2: personal spaces. Public spaces, no, thank you. No.
- 38:10Speaker 1: That's a big thing with us too. We actually have
- 38:13Speaker 1: a huge circle table. I think one of the uncles
- 38:16Speaker 1: or something made it in shop class years ago for
- 38:18Speaker 1: my grandparents. So it's still in there, and it seems
- 38:21Speaker 1: to be the catch all for whatever reason. It's the
- 38:23Speaker 1: place that everything in I guess a little bit of
- 38:26Speaker 1: the defensive there. That's the place where we hang out,
- 38:28Speaker 1: like if we're hanging out we have again the old farmhouse,
- 38:31Speaker 1: so it's like a split living room. So it's not
- 38:33Speaker 1: really ideal for all of us to just be able
- 38:36Speaker 1: to sit there. We're not really TV movie watchers, you know,
- 38:39Speaker 1: so it's not like we're gonna sit on the couch
- 38:41Speaker 1: and have the TV on and just hang out. So
- 38:43Speaker 1: like for us, everything's hanging out in the kitchen, you know,
- 38:46Speaker 1: we're hanging out there. The dogs are hanging out there,
- 38:48Speaker 1: playing games on the table. But it seems to be
- 38:50Speaker 1: the catch all. It's the first place when you walk
- 38:53Speaker 1: in the door, you see that table, you set stuff down.
- 38:56Speaker 1: They've gotten a lot better. Has there been times where
- 38:58Speaker 1: I wanted to just flip up the table, have everything
- 39:02Speaker 1: fall and be like clean it. But I know that's
- 39:05Speaker 1: not a good thing.
- 39:07Speaker 2: That's my I usually get. I look from the missus
- 39:12Speaker 2: whenever I think they take out trash out of the
- 39:16Speaker 2: car and just leave it in the driveway for me
- 39:19Speaker 2: to pick it up. I'm like and I'm just like
- 39:21Speaker 2: what why? And I was like, hey, guys, I was like,
- 39:23Speaker 2: empty my vehicle out too. You know what I do.
- 39:25Speaker 2: I bring the trash in or I bring a trash
- 39:27Speaker 2: back outside with me to put it into the trash can,
- 39:31Speaker 2: and if they ever get the like if I see
- 39:34Speaker 2: them cleaning out the car and I'm like, hey, here,
- 39:36Speaker 2: here's a trash bag. For love of god, I was like,
- 39:38Speaker 2: just put it in the trash bag. The trash bag
- 39:39Speaker 2: will still be sitting in the driveway and I'm like, well,
- 39:41Speaker 2: you couldn't even put what is going on? I'm like
- 39:44Speaker 2: this So it drives me absolute bonkers when they do
- 39:49Speaker 2: this stuff. And then I go, hey, I'm gonna start
- 39:51Speaker 2: picking all this stuff up. And I was like, I'm
- 39:52Speaker 2: gonna put it in your beds. And I was like,
- 39:54Speaker 2: if you want to leave it out for me, you're
- 39:55Speaker 2: gonna find all this stuff in your bed And I
- 39:57Speaker 2: always like, don't put trash in their beds. And I'm like,
- 40:00Speaker 2: you're guilty too, bitch. I'm putting on your half. You're
- 40:04Speaker 2: gonna get all of this. You're doctor pepperkan'ser Starbucks drinks
- 40:06Speaker 2: and everything, and she's always like, well, I get in
- 40:09Speaker 2: the car and I have my morning drink and I'm
- 40:12Speaker 2: out of cup holders, and I'm like, you know, you know,
- 40:14Speaker 2: I was like, I drive a truck, I got four
- 40:16Speaker 2: cup holders and I'm surviving, you know, do I have
- 40:20Speaker 2: bottles of water and sprite and gatorade all over the
- 40:22Speaker 2: my like bed of my truck. Yeah, we adapt, but.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I've had to start because everybody kind of has there
- 40:31Speaker 1: not a sign seat. That sounds weird, but they all
- 40:33Speaker 1: have a spot at the table like that's their spot.
- 40:35Speaker 1: You know, we've all just kind of gravitated. That's where
- 40:38Speaker 1: you sit, that's what you do. So they all kind
- 40:40Speaker 1: of have their own little areas almost there. And if
- 40:43Speaker 1: it's nasty there, then it's nasty. And if it gets
- 40:45Speaker 1: to the point where they don't have a spot to sit,
- 40:48Speaker 1: that really sucks for them. But it's pretty apparent. And
- 40:51Speaker 1: usually the younger one is the most guilty. I mean
- 40:53Speaker 1: they're they're younger. I get it, they have more things,
- 40:57Speaker 1: and I know you said something about ye know, they're
- 40:58Speaker 1: too busy on their phone. We have no technology at
- 41:01Speaker 1: the table rule, you know, especially when there's food out,
- 41:04Speaker 1: because it's the same thing. They would just be damn you, yep, hey,
- 41:10Speaker 1: what's going on there?
- 41:12Speaker 2: You know?
- 41:13Speaker 1: It drives me and maybe we're old school whatever, but
- 41:15Speaker 1: we have a conversation this and that, and then old
- 41:18Speaker 1: school style they have to ask to be excused, oh,
- 41:22Speaker 1: which we might, so they'll be like, can we be excused?
- 41:25Speaker 1: Not yet? And then now it's to the point like
- 41:27Speaker 1: they're like, oh shit, what did I do? And then
- 41:30Speaker 1: I'll be once in a while, I click, oh finished
- 41:33Speaker 1: rerinting off the thing?
- 41:34Speaker 2: Did you do?
- 41:34Speaker 1: Dish rusher?
- 41:34Speaker 2: Do do? Now?
- 41:36Speaker 1: Can I be excused? Sure? So it's like you're gonna
- 41:41Speaker 1: sit there, and I know you don't want to sit there.
- 41:42Speaker 1: You want to go talk to your friends, or you
- 41:44Speaker 1: want to go play this game, or you wanna do
- 41:46Speaker 1: the things. And then they're starting to remember, and it's
- 41:48Speaker 1: starting to get I'm like, all right, things are working.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Everyone's on their phones. It drives me nuts, and like
- 41:57Speaker 2: my wife eats like she's in prison. Like by the
- 41:59Speaker 2: time I sit down, is already gone, and I'm like, you,
- 42:01Speaker 2: skinny bitch, I'm like, how what are you putting this stuff?
- 42:04Speaker 2: God bless dude. So so I'll sit down and I'm
- 42:07Speaker 2: just looking. There's the youngest is on tablet. You know,
- 42:10Speaker 2: usually it's a like a video plane or whatever while
- 42:14Speaker 2: he's eating. But everyone's got there's air pods in you know.
- 42:17Speaker 2: It's just I'm like, hey, how is school everything good?
- 42:21Speaker 2: You know? I usually talk to him that's I get
- 42:23Speaker 2: the ride home from school, you know, pick them up,
- 42:26Speaker 2: and that's usually like, hey, how is your day, what's
- 42:28Speaker 2: going on, what's the plans for today? But we've been, uh,
- 42:31Speaker 2: we've been kind of slacking on them getting their homework
- 42:33Speaker 2: done as soon as they get home from school, so
- 42:35Speaker 2: we had to re implement that. And they've had a
- 42:37Speaker 2: lot of snow days and of course, you know, winter
- 42:39Speaker 2: break was in less than a month ago. Sickness, yeah,
- 42:42Speaker 2: just everyone's been six So I'm like, hey, you know,
- 42:46Speaker 2: we need to get back onto this track. I was like,
- 42:48Speaker 2: we're all kind of just you know, getting everything's fallen
- 42:51Speaker 2: away to the wayside. Let's good to get back on this.
- 42:54Speaker 2: And you're terrible. Oh my gosh, Dad sucks. And I'm like, oh,
- 42:58Speaker 2: you know, And I look at these homeworkers, especially my
- 43:00Speaker 2: fourth grader, who thinks one homework assignment's team in the world.
- 43:03Speaker 2: He goes, this is gonna take forever, and I'm like,
- 43:05Speaker 2: all right, let's look at it. He knocked it out
- 43:07Speaker 2: in five minutes. And I'm like, did you freak out
- 43:10Speaker 2: for an assignment that literally just took you five minutes?
- 43:12Speaker 2: He's like, oh, yeah, yeah I did. And I'm like,
- 43:15Speaker 2: are we gonna do this again? And he's like probably.
- 43:18Speaker 2: I'm like, well, at least you're honest, all right, Well,
- 43:21Speaker 2: at least you're honest.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know. It was kind of like the
- 43:25Speaker 1: youngest too. I don't want to do the homework. So
- 43:27Speaker 1: we get down and I don't know the difference, you
- 43:30Speaker 1: know what I mean, It's been a long time since
- 43:31Speaker 1: I've had to really sit down and do some homework.
- 43:33Speaker 1: So we're going through it and this and that. We
- 43:35Speaker 1: get through and I'm like, well, this takes forever. We're
- 43:38Speaker 1: like forty minutes in and I'm like, are we done?
- 43:41Speaker 1: And she's like, yeah, I think so. So I'm like,
- 43:43Speaker 1: holy coyles.
- 43:43Speaker 2: We get there.
- 43:44Speaker 1: The wife's like, yoh, did you guys do it a homework?
- 43:46Speaker 1: I'm like, gosh, like thanks for helping. She looks over,
- 43:49Speaker 1: she's like huh what, She goes, I think you did
- 43:54Speaker 1: the whole week's worth worst I go, huh, well, it's
- 43:58Speaker 1: the packet. I just yeah, I only had to do
- 44:00Speaker 1: the one page of the packet. And I'm like, oh, like, well,
- 44:04Speaker 1: there you go, Kaid. We spent forty minutes. Now you're
- 44:06Speaker 1: done for the week. And she's saying what, I'm like,
- 44:08Speaker 1: how do you not know this?
- 44:09Speaker 2: This is your school?
- 44:10Speaker 1: Like, this is your work, not mine. I think I
- 44:13Speaker 1: forgot Okay, So I'm thinking, like, what kind of asshole
- 44:19Speaker 1: teacher is going to give forty minutes a homework to
- 44:23Speaker 1: like third graders? Not only that, like how much would
- 44:26Speaker 1: your life suck? Because then you got a grade forty
- 44:29Speaker 1: minutes homework every turns out it's just a week.
- 44:35Speaker 2: That's I mean, there are some I know that with
- 44:39Speaker 2: the way that our school is, there's like there's like, oh,
- 44:42Speaker 2: like in elementary there's two third grade teachers to fourth grade.
- 44:46Speaker 2: Each grade has two teachers, but it seems like every
- 44:48Speaker 2: single one of them one of them is very lax
- 44:50Speaker 2: with homework and the other one is very aggressive with
- 44:53Speaker 2: the homework, and so it is just whenever they come
- 44:56Speaker 2: out with the class schedules, it's always a freaking fit
- 44:59Speaker 2: of the like oh I got this, I got this. Yeah.
- 45:02Speaker 2: I'm just like I was like, please get it. Let's
- 45:04Speaker 2: just get the easy ones for my sake too, because
- 45:06Speaker 2: you know how it is sports and everything, doing homework
- 45:09Speaker 2: on the way to all these games at the games,
- 45:12Speaker 2: or extremely late when you get home from the games.
- 45:14Speaker 1: It's just like while you're eating the food. Yeah, it's it's.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Sort the last thing you want to do is just
- 45:19Speaker 2: eat the late food and then have to fight with
- 45:22Speaker 2: your kid with this extremely long homework assignment at ten
- 45:25Speaker 2: forty five at night. No, that's no, I'm passed.
- 45:28Speaker 1: Yeah, but I'm thankful at least the girl, at least
- 45:30Speaker 1: the oldest. Definitely is one that utilizes study halls. I
- 45:34Speaker 1: know a lot of people don't. They just kind of
- 45:36Speaker 1: use it as like I'm going to take a nap,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm going to just kind of mess around. But very
- 45:41Speaker 1: thankful for that. And I think, and that's a beauty
- 45:44Speaker 1: in my opinion of being in sports. As you learn
- 45:47Speaker 1: time management, you learn how to deal with stress. I mean,
- 45:50Speaker 1: and it's only going to help when they're older, when
- 45:52Speaker 1: they have to start, you know, being like us and
- 45:55Speaker 1: being eighteen million places, getting ship on by the family.
- 45:58Speaker 1: Everybody hates you. Everybody's manage, Nobody wants to talk to you.
- 46:02Speaker 1: I tell them all the time. They start getting mad
- 46:05Speaker 1: at me and I'm like, listen, I pull up the
- 46:06Speaker 1: thing on my phone. It's like scientists say that men
- 46:09Speaker 1: should have do nights two days a week for their
- 46:12Speaker 1: mental health. I haven't had two days with the boys
- 46:17Speaker 1: probably in years, so let's all, let's all calm it
- 46:20Speaker 1: down a little bit, all right.
- 46:22Speaker 2: That's I had to explain because they always say, like,
- 46:25Speaker 2: I used to throw darts, you know a lot. I
- 46:27Speaker 2: was like going every that was my once a week outlet.
- 46:29Speaker 2: That was that was my thing. It's been a year
- 46:31Speaker 2: since I've been on that team. So that's why the
- 46:35Speaker 2: kids are like, well, you're always out and stuff, and
- 46:36Speaker 2: I'm like, for what going to your guys' games, watching
- 46:39Speaker 2: your friends' games, going helping referee some of these damn games.
- 46:43Speaker 2: You know. I'm like, what are you talking about? And
- 46:46Speaker 2: even my wife was like, yeah, she's like, you you
- 46:48Speaker 2: have some nights out. I was like the last seven months,
- 46:52Speaker 2: I went to a fantasy football draft. I was like,
- 46:54Speaker 2: that lasted an hour and a half. And I was like,
- 46:57Speaker 2: and that AC Championship game. I was like, those are
- 46:59Speaker 2: my two nights out. And she's like, damn, you're right,
- 47:03Speaker 2: and I was like, I don't go out. I was like,
- 47:06Speaker 2: I hang out with my boys, I talk to you,
- 47:07Speaker 2: you know, hang out with the Body Wrong crew as well,
- 47:10Speaker 2: And that's that's my outlet. That's that's what I enjoy
- 47:15Speaker 2: and thank God for it because if not, I would
- 47:16Speaker 2: be extremely more pissy than I am.
- 47:21Speaker 1: And then you don't, and then it feels weird, like
- 47:24Speaker 1: what's going on? Almost when the kids start asking you
- 47:27Speaker 1: what's wrong? Instead of you being like what's wrong? Like
- 47:29Speaker 1: I don't want to sit there and be like, well
- 47:30Speaker 1: this is wrong and this is wrong, Well we can't
- 47:31Speaker 1: afford this month. It did it a bit a bit,
- 47:34Speaker 1: you know, and it's just like, you know, it's it's
- 47:36Speaker 1: a different dynamic. You don't want to be real with them.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Just I just I'm like, you know what, pretty stressed out.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Got a lot of stuff going on, like like what,
- 47:44Speaker 1: well you play here here, here, here, here, this one
- 47:48Speaker 1: has this game, this game, this game, practice, and this
- 47:51Speaker 1: one has dance and this and this and this. Oh
- 47:54Speaker 1: and then you know I have to work every day
- 47:57Speaker 1: and you know, then we have this on the weekends
- 47:59Speaker 1: with the turn and then travel this and it's like
- 48:02Speaker 1: that's why there's there's no time, just a couple of hours.
- 48:07Speaker 1: And I tell them now, I was like, I'm getting
- 48:08Speaker 1: stressed because I'm gonna be forty and I'm not looking
- 48:10Speaker 1: forward to that ship.
- 48:12Speaker 2: Your birthday is coming up next week.
- 48:14Speaker 1: It's just I don't the whole number. It's really been
- 48:16Speaker 1: messing on me. I can't shake it.
- 48:18Speaker 2: I don't want to be forty. That's like, uh, we're
- 48:22Speaker 2: talking about like the midlife time of like you know,
- 48:24Speaker 2: I hit thirty five last month and I was like, oh,
- 48:28Speaker 2: this is about the midlifetime. This is this is how
- 48:32Speaker 2: quickly it went already just like that. Again, you know,
- 48:35Speaker 2: death is inevitable, and so I thought.
- 48:38Speaker 1: Twenty years ago twenty one was going to be my men.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I was like, man, if I ever make it a
- 48:41Speaker 1: forty forty two like I did it, Now that I'm there,
- 48:45Speaker 1: I'm like, so, bitch, I want to go another forty.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Right, right. And that's that's one thing that I've always
- 48:51Speaker 2: mentioned too, was just like, ah, you know, if I'm
- 48:53Speaker 2: making to fifty, I've done all right. I've done all right.
- 48:55Speaker 2: And you know, having kids and just you know, seeing
- 48:59Speaker 2: different perspectives and I realized that, you know, life, you
- 49:03Speaker 2: definitely want to live as long as you now do
- 49:04Speaker 2: I want to be a hundred.
- 49:06Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I've been seeing the memes that
- 49:08Speaker 1: like the one lady that still drinks like beer every
- 49:12Speaker 1: day in a hundred and like, what's the secret? Stay single
- 49:14Speaker 1: and drink beer every day. I'm like, well, Jesus, oh man.
- 49:19Speaker 2: You don't know if she's still said she's like, ohcause
- 49:21Speaker 2: my pussy is still wet at a hundred and I'm like,
- 49:23Speaker 2: get it, grandma, hell yes? And also, where do you live?
- 49:28Speaker 1: A lot of it? What are you? What's your net worth?
- 49:31Speaker 2: Yes? Hey, I would be like an Anna Nicole Smith.
- 49:33Speaker 2: You know, people can go buy let me call my
- 49:36Speaker 2: middle name as well. I'll start going by all three
- 49:39Speaker 2: names too. I don't care to look at that look
- 49:42Speaker 2: at that piece as shit. He's just using her for
- 49:44Speaker 2: the money.
- 49:45Speaker 1: No shit, you're going to say the old guys.
- 49:49Speaker 2: That I will not how much money. You know, if
- 49:52Speaker 2: Bezos is on his deathbed, give him a beat or
- 49:54Speaker 2: two for life savings. I'm not proud. They say money
- 49:59Speaker 2: can't buy happiness. You are wrong. Money can buy a
- 50:02Speaker 2: lot of happiness and a lot of jet skis. Yeah.
- 50:05Speaker 1: I was gonna say, I don't know about that one yet,
- 50:07Speaker 1: but maybe someday. But either way, I looked at the
- 50:11Speaker 1: clock for the first time. We might as well get
- 50:12Speaker 1: out of here. We are busy, dudes, and you're sitting
- 50:15Speaker 1: in a studio that's probably about thirty two degrees or
- 50:19Speaker 1: zero celsius at this point, and.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Oh you can't see it. Oh my gosh, it's a
- 50:27Speaker 2: little cold, little.
- 50:28Speaker 1: If you sit for too long you might get some hemorrhoids.
- 50:30Speaker 1: And if you do, check out our friends at right rage.
- 50:34Speaker 1: We love them, and my poops have been good eating
- 50:39Speaker 1: them vitamins, the gummies. Definitely check them out and all
- 50:42Speaker 1: the other friends in the description down below. This isn't
- 50:46Speaker 1: your first time listening or seeing a video, so you
- 50:50Speaker 1: know what to do. If you don't want to, that's
- 50:51Speaker 1: cool too, But either way, happy almost Valentine's Day. If
- 50:55Speaker 1: you're unprepared, stop buy a local gas station. At least
- 50:59Speaker 1: go buy some Ouklets flowers. You're gonna overpay at this
- 51:02Speaker 1: price because it's well the thirteenth. If you're listening to
- 51:05Speaker 1: this after Valentine's Day, then you're gonna get some fifty
- 51:07Speaker 1: percent off maybe seventy five percent off candy. Spoiler alert,
- 51:10Speaker 1: The kids and the women will still love that cheap candy,
- 51:14Speaker 1: but since its February, they priorady got the Easter shit out,
- 51:16Speaker 1: So just go buy yourself some Easter Easter candy. For
- 51:20Speaker 1: Valentine's Day, and.
- 51:21Speaker 2: Feel free to send us all of your unused Valentine's
- 51:24Speaker 2: Day candy. We will eat it.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Mm hmm. I know, I got to figure this out.
- 51:27Speaker 1: I'm a I'm a I know, or on the way out.
- 51:29Speaker 1: But I still make homemade cards for the kids. Come
- 51:32Speaker 1: up with a little cheesy little poem and I do that.
- 51:34Speaker 1: And I said, you know what, am I a little cheap?
- 51:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 51:37Speaker 1: But I still go buy a little box of chocolates,
- 51:40Speaker 1: just like a dollar or two here or there, a
- 51:41Speaker 1: little homemade card and that's what you get.
- 51:44Speaker 2: Look at you see I have the kids. Still make
- 51:46Speaker 2: homemade once for Mother's Day and everything. But yeah, that
- 51:49Speaker 2: is uh, that's awesome. Such a good dad.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Hey, you know, even do I'll even cut them into
- 51:55Speaker 1: a little bit of a heart sometimes or if I'm
- 51:57Speaker 1: running on low on time, then I just make them
- 51:58Speaker 1: on the computer and make get all fancy and then print.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Look at you go look it.
- 52:05Speaker 1: They don't listen to the show, so chat chepet's bragge.
- 52:08Speaker 1: See you know. Now I'm paying twenty bucks a month,
- 52:09Speaker 1: I'm putting into work. They're gonna come up with some
- 52:11Speaker 1: poems for me. Although I like the cheesy ones. I
- 52:16Speaker 1: like to try to find different ways to be, like
- 52:19Speaker 1: roses are red, or you know, different flowers. You know,
- 52:23Speaker 1: dandelions are yellow, and so are your teeth, and so
- 52:27Speaker 1: is the toilet when you don't clean it for a week.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Roses are red, violets are blue. I could sure use
- 52:35Speaker 2: a BJ maybe from you.
- 52:40Speaker 1: You should write that down.
- 52:41Speaker 2: You know, we need to write that down. There we go.
- 52:43Speaker 2: I got some notes over here too.
- 52:45Speaker 1: Look at us productive, Brandon, get some sleep, little fella.
- 52:49Speaker 1: It's gonna get better. Everybody else if you're still listening
- 52:51Speaker 1: for whatever reason, we appreciate you and you bean as
- 52:54Speaker 1: always appreciate you.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Brother.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Hopefully you're feeling better. You look, I'm a lot better.
- 52:58Speaker 1: And it's goody good to have you back on the
- 53:02Speaker 1: men for at least a little bit.
- 53:03Speaker 2: So all right, I thought you said on the men,
- 53:07Speaker 2: and I was like, that's the second reference at about
- 53:09Speaker 2: three minutes, buddy.
- 53:11Speaker 1: I mean, hey, money.
- 53:13Speaker 2: If the shoe fits, or if the fits, I guess if.
- 53:17Speaker 1: The magnum fits.
- 53:19Speaker 2: I got nothing else.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm hungry. I'm gonna go see what's
- 53:23Speaker 1: in my fridge because the family is still out shopping
- 53:26Speaker 1: for snacks, so I get full rain on there, even
- 53:30Speaker 1: though there's probably nothing less. So that's all we got.
- 53:34Speaker 1: We'll be back next week. I didn't have a concession stand.
- 53:35Speaker 1: I know, we said we're gonna start ranking concession stands.
- 53:38Speaker 1: You were sick, you didn't go to the thing yesterday.
- 53:40Speaker 1: I didn't have a tournament this weekend, so you get
- 53:41Speaker 1: no concession stand updates for us, and I think, I
- 53:46Speaker 1: don't think I have a tournament next weekend. No, I
- 53:48Speaker 1: don't have a tournament next weekend, but I have won
- 53:50Speaker 1: the twenty second, so the twenty third the time of
- 53:53Speaker 1: the recording or whatever, I'll do another one.
- 53:56Speaker 2: Hey, I got a few this weekend, so hopefully, hopefully
- 54:00Speaker 2: some good things. But it's a it's a Kansas City school,
- 54:03Speaker 2: so it's gonna be basic and overpriced. I imagine.
- 54:07Speaker 1: Well, they'll either be super happy because of what happened
- 54:09Speaker 1: in the super Bowl, they'll be super sad. And this
- 54:11Speaker 1: is already out, so you know what happened. Hopefully you
- 54:14Speaker 1: enjoyed it, and if you didn't, whatever, you know, it's
- 54:17Speaker 1: a lose lose for guys like.
- 54:19Speaker 2: Us, So rooting for the commercials in the halftime show.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Anything else and that's why ticket sales. Ticket sales went
- 54:24Speaker 1: down fifty eight percent because nobody wants to go to
- 54:27Speaker 1: that damn thing.
- 54:30Speaker 2: And now blame them.
- 54:31Speaker 1: If the bills would have made it, Bill's mafia would
- 54:34Speaker 1: have been going nuts in New Irelands.
- 54:36Speaker 2: I will leave you with one thing too. I don't
- 54:38Speaker 2: know if you saw the Josh Allen video over the
- 54:43Speaker 2: kids in the hospital cheered him on or whatever it
- 54:47Speaker 2: was after he won MVP. He volunteers a lot of
- 54:50Speaker 2: the children's hospital and they all he knew them, all
- 54:53Speaker 2: my name. As soon as they popped up, he was
- 54:54Speaker 2: naming them. It's all the ones that he's visited and everything.
- 54:57Speaker 2: I was sick and bad and everything else. I ride
- 55:00Speaker 2: like a baby. I have never had tears. I was
- 55:02Speaker 2: just like is this and I was like, get this
- 55:06Speaker 2: off my feet? This anymore? No, thank you. So, if
- 55:10Speaker 2: you guys are listening, dads have hearts too, Okay. You
- 55:13Speaker 2: just need Josh Allen to see kids on a tablet
- 55:16Speaker 2: to make us cry, because that's what really we want
- 55:18Speaker 2: to see.
- 55:19Speaker 1: Yes, we have hearts and we have feelings. Will be
- 55:21Speaker 1: nice to us, you little shits, yes, okay?
- 55:24Speaker 2: And nice teerweners.
- 55:26Speaker 1: Yeah, all of them.
- 55:28Speaker 2: We'll see it. Bye bye,
