Latest / Stugotz and Company / Set 2: Stugotz's Observations
Transcript
- 0:04Speaker 1: Before we get to the wee Ken observations. No radio
- 0:07Speaker 1: this week. I got a text from Mikey a over
- 0:10Speaker 1: the weekend saying he might care more about his kid's
- 0:12Speaker 1: little league team than his kid does, and it made
- 0:16Speaker 1: me smile. What happened?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Mikey first off, shouted out to the Trumble ten you team.
- 0:22Speaker 2: They won their district. They're on their way to sectionals.
- 0:27Speaker 2: But it like I was sweating, I was nervous, I
- 0:31Speaker 2: was pacing, I had stomach crabs. And my kid's like, hey, Dad, afterwards,
- 0:35Speaker 2: do you think we could go get ice cream? Or
- 0:37Speaker 2: And I'm like, I mean you in the game right now, right?
- 0:41Speaker 2: And he's like, okay, but like, what do you think
- 0:45Speaker 2: we're gonna do for dinner? What do you think is good?
- 0:47Speaker 1: Do you think we're gonna have a party afterwards if
- 0:50Speaker 1: we win?
- 0:50Speaker 2: Like you worried about winning and then we'll worry about
- 0:53Speaker 2: the party.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Right, But so, I mean, how many ten? Yeah? No,
- 0:59Speaker 1: what a good kid? He is thinking about what ten
- 1:01Speaker 1: year old should be thinking about. Where are we getting
- 1:03Speaker 1: ice cream afterwards? What's for dinner tonight? You're thinking about
- 1:05Speaker 1: winning a world series? I mean, he doesn't get any and.
- 1:08Speaker 2: The kid had a day and the kid had a day,
- 1:10Speaker 2: which is which is like and I'm just like, you
- 1:13Speaker 2: don't even I don't know how to do it. But
- 1:16Speaker 2: so now I'm in a weird conundrum because my wife
- 1:19Speaker 2: threw me under the table. I bought concert tickets for
- 1:22Speaker 2: this Thursday a long time ago, and she threw me
- 1:27Speaker 2: under the table in front of everybody and said I
- 1:29Speaker 2: was going to a concert Thursday.
- 1:30Speaker 1: And they're like, well, we have a game.
- 1:32Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, well my kid's gonna go and they're like, yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 2: but you got to come right, And I don't know
- 1:39Speaker 2: how to tell them that I'm going to the concert
- 1:43Speaker 2: because I spent a lot of money on those tickets.
- 1:45Speaker 1: And yes, okay if I missed the game right. First off,
- 1:49Speaker 1: I've never heard someone be thrown under a table. I
- 1:51Speaker 1: thought it was thrown under a bus.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, what happens to you under the table?
- 1:55Speaker 3: You're just hiding, You're just down like this.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Room, under the table, it seems like a delightful place
- 1:59Speaker 1: to be thrown on. If I'm being honest with you,
- 2:01Speaker 1: it's like.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Oh, no, at the table and she threw me under
- 2:04Speaker 2: the bus.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Head under the table, that's where you want to be right.
- 2:10Speaker 1: It also seems that someone who cares more about the
- 2:12Speaker 1: league than your kid does. You don't have your priority straight.
- 2:15Speaker 1: What are you doing a concert for it a Thursday?
- 2:17Speaker 1: I agree with anyone who's saying you needed to be
- 2:19Speaker 1: at the game. You need to be at the game.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Make a commitment. I mean, but I spent a lot
- 2:23Speaker 1: of money. Who's performing?
- 2:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's the content that's irrelevant.
- 2:27Speaker 1: No, no, I won't be judged. No, I won't be
- 2:30Speaker 1: judged here. I won't be judged by what The concert
- 2:33Speaker 1: is the most important part of the equation. We need
- 2:35Speaker 1: to it might as well be. It might as well
- 2:37Speaker 1: be blinkin eighty two. It's realized.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Wow, wow, I would prefer Blink two by a mini.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Wait, so you're met at your kid for merely thinking
- 2:52Speaker 1: about ice cream and where they're gonna eat dinner later
- 2:54Speaker 1: when you have concerts, I want that. First Off, I'm
- 2:59Speaker 1: not playing. I'm not in the game. He's in the game.
- 3:02Speaker 1: And secondly, I bought these tickets in.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Like May with my brother before I even knew he
- 3:06Speaker 2: was going to make the team, let alone what the
- 3:09Speaker 2: tournament schedules were going to be?
- 3:11Speaker 1: Right?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Kid eleven released who cares I'm going because I'm going
- 3:17Speaker 2: because it's nineteen nineties.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Man, But has your kid asked you, Hey, dad, why'd
- 3:22Speaker 1: you buy concert tickets for Thursday night? And you had
- 3:24Speaker 1: to respond, well, I didn't think you were going to
- 3:26Speaker 1: make the team. No, I didn't know the schedule. See,
- 3:30Speaker 1: that's the right answer.
- 3:31Speaker 3: I didn't know that.
- 3:33Speaker 1: I didn't think I thought you would make it. Son.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I just didn't think you'd make it this far.
- 3:37Speaker 2: Is that I thought you would make it. I just
- 3:39Speaker 2: didn't think you'd play it on a Thursday night. We
- 3:43Speaker 2: have an answer for everything.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I'm just swung up on this three eleven thing. I
- 3:48Speaker 4: have a friend of your eleven and all I did
- 3:50Speaker 4: was mock him for it, And I don't understand the feel.
- 3:55Speaker 1: So when you're at you when you asked, and I
- 3:57Speaker 1: knew if I said what it was going to be,
- 3:59Speaker 1: I was gonna get mocked by and you are. So
- 4:03Speaker 1: has your son like, so your son had a day though?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Right on the day he was asking for ice cream,
- 4:07Speaker 1: Like what's a day to find a day for us?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Two for two? Double? Right? I want to know why
- 4:12Speaker 1: because he was thinking about ice cream and ice cream? Yes, yes, yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Are those the glasses? That are missing one of these sides.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Is that why they're so lost?
- 4:20Speaker 2: I mean yeah, between that and the spittle, I haven't
- 4:23Speaker 2: been able to look at students perfectly perfect.
- 4:27Speaker 1: I'm gonna get it off my let he got it.
- 4:29Speaker 1: I'll take a sip of water.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Oh suck.
- 4:32Speaker 1: We have weekend observations. You're good.
- 4:35Speaker 3: How many glasses have you destroyed over the last few months?
- 4:39Speaker 1: Well, let's see. I went to Tahoe with three. I
- 4:42Speaker 1: came back with one. Uh, with a half.
- 4:44Speaker 5: You would define this as a half, right, Yeah, I
- 4:46Speaker 5: lost two and I have half a pair of left.
- 4:49Speaker 5: That's interesting hanging off my face and spittle. Let's get
- 4:53Speaker 5: to the weekend observations here. It's sunny there, man, I'm sorry.
- 4:56Speaker 5: I don't know what to tell you.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And you know, we drink a lot, we have a
- 4:59Speaker 1: lot of fun, and we wake up and we do
- 5:02Speaker 1: it all over again. I lose things, my mind, my classes. Anyway,
- 5:06Speaker 1: is he? Are you ready here for the week ken observations?
- 5:09Speaker 3: Very ready?
- 5:11Speaker 1: Is he? He was once the biggest thing his sport
- 5:18Speaker 1: had to offer, but he hadn't fought in over five years.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Some say he wanted to make a return for the
- 5:25Speaker 1: love of the game. Others speculated he desperately needed the money.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Either way, It's strange how much his return was celebrated
- 5:35Speaker 1: because objectively he's a bad person. But just like that,
- 5:41Speaker 1: make no mistake about it, For sixty nine seconds, the
- 5:46Speaker 1: notorious one Connor McGregor was back.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Sixty nine seconds. That's great.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Did you watch the fight?
- 5:57Speaker 3: Uh no, This is like I make the comparison.
- 6:01Speaker 4: This is like only liking Drake's new stuff because we've
- 6:05Speaker 4: already seen the good stuff. We've already heard the good stuff.
- 6:08Speaker 4: I don't need any more. We're not gonna get a
- 6:10Speaker 4: better version of Connor McGregor, so I'm not gonna celebrate
- 6:13Speaker 4: some bad dude them.
- 6:14Speaker 6: Switching to Paramount has made me feel better about when
- 6:18Speaker 6: a main event is a dud, because it's like, okay,
- 6:21Speaker 6: I was gonna pay my paramount subscription anyways, where instead
- 6:25Speaker 6: if I paid like sixty dollars for the pay per
- 6:27Speaker 6: view model, I would have been asking everybody for a
- 6:31Speaker 6: refund after that fight?
- 6:34Speaker 1: Is he You know what the sea and Connor stands
- 6:36Speaker 1: for no cash grad. You know what the M M
- 6:40Speaker 1: McGregor stands for money money grad. If you bet on
- 6:48Speaker 1: Connor McGregor, you have nobody else to blame but yourself.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Connor McGregor pulled it. Aaron Rodgers, it is stude.
- 7:00Speaker 4: I was looking to see if I was going to
- 7:02Speaker 4: watch any other fight, and I was like, what time
- 7:04Speaker 4: is it.
- 7:04Speaker 3: I looked at my phone.
- 7:05Speaker 4: The first thing I saw was him walking or limping
- 7:08Speaker 4: out of the building, and I was like, sweet, I
- 7:09Speaker 4: already missed it.
- 7:10Speaker 3: He must have lost.
- 7:13Speaker 1: The see in Connor stands for cash grant.
- 7:15Speaker 3: That's so good.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Bam out of bio Landed Moore punches this weekend in
- 7:20Speaker 1: Vegas than Connor McGregor, sucker or otherwise exactly. I'm sorry
- 7:29Speaker 1: to say it, but my first thought when I heard
- 7:32Speaker 1: Tyler Hero got punched was he probably deserved it.
- 7:37Speaker 3: That is definitely the personality he puts out there.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I'm surprised he hasn't been punched more. If I'm being
- 7:43Speaker 1: honest with you, I'm sure Jimmy wanted to yes. Argentina
- 7:48Speaker 1: getting bailed out again by var Argentina more like Argentina.
- 8:00Speaker 4: FIFA stands for fix it for Argentina. That's what's going
- 8:03Speaker 4: around the internet.
- 8:04Speaker 1: My glasses just fell up. I gave lea MESSI do
- 8:07Speaker 1: it without the refs I mean they really are. They're
- 8:12Speaker 1: just still walking into a FIFA World Cup Championship. It's absurd.
- 8:17Speaker 1: So far Argentina walking a fine line between team skating
- 8:23Speaker 1: by and a team of destiny.
- 8:26Speaker 3: It's true, Marry true.
- 8:29Speaker 1: FIFA spending all last week ragging about their balls censor,
- 8:33Speaker 1: only for it to miss the biggest moment of England
- 8:36Speaker 1: Norway FIFA. The stugatts is strong in you.
- 8:40Speaker 3: How do you miss that?
- 8:41Speaker 4: Forget the little chip, like how do you just not
- 8:44Speaker 4: miss the ball moving? And then they saw something about
- 8:47Speaker 4: the heartbeat of the ball. As FIFA explained it, I
- 8:50Speaker 4: was just like, you guys are really stretching.
- 8:52Speaker 3: For this week.
- 8:53Speaker 6: No is he that's the censor in it because a
- 8:56Speaker 6: week ago it picked up when it hit somebody's hair
- 8:59Speaker 6: by the minuscule margins. But then when it hits the wire,
- 9:03Speaker 6: the censor says it doesn't pick anything up. But then
- 9:06Speaker 6: the Norway sideline immediately knew that it hit the wire
- 9:09Speaker 6: and they were like, hey, it hit the wire and
- 9:11Speaker 6: VR was like, I don't think we're allowed to look
- 9:13Speaker 6: at that, or we're not going to look at it.
- 9:15Speaker 3: It might have been out of range.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Yes, a soccer balls little thing is he. It seems
- 9:19Speaker 1: to work when FIFA wants it to work.
- 9:21Speaker 3: I think it's the point, right, that's true.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yep, yeah, anyway, move over Maradona's hand of God goal.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Did I say that right?
- 9:31Speaker 3: Yeah? He nailed it?
- 9:32Speaker 1: Is it Maradona? It is? Move over Maradona's hand of
- 9:37Speaker 1: God goal. We've got Bellingham's cable of God goal.
- 9:40Speaker 4: Now it might have been the hand of God in
- 9:45Speaker 4: the form of the cable of course.
- 9:46Speaker 6: It would happen in Miami too.
- 9:48Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I didn't even.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Think about that. England fans singing hey Jude to Jude
- 9:55Speaker 1: Bellingham after a big win, goosebumps. You don't like that
- 9:59Speaker 1: is yeah? No, I do. I do.
- 10:01Speaker 3: It's just an easy one. But I hear it, you know,
- 10:02Speaker 3: you hear it all the time. But it's a good one. Yeah.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Not a big Beatles fan either, yes.
- 10:06Speaker 1: But it's right there for them. And sometimes when something
- 10:08Speaker 1: is sitting right there for you and you don't take it,
- 10:10Speaker 1: you get criticized for not taking it. They took it fair, fair,
- 10:14Speaker 1: all right. I'm no soccer player, but if I played
- 10:17Speaker 1: for Norway, I would pass the ball to an earling
- 10:20Speaker 1: holland more.
- 10:23Speaker 4: Stu I have never seen the situation ever where the
- 10:26Speaker 4: entire world, the whole world. They didn't even know Arling
- 10:30Speaker 4: Holland as of two weeks ago, but the entire world
- 10:33Speaker 4: is like, give it to that guy.
- 10:35Speaker 3: He's wide open and you can like what in the world.
- 10:38Speaker 4: And I've never seen Earling Holland mad until that moment
- 10:41Speaker 4: right there.
- 10:41Speaker 1: Unbelievable Earling Holland partying at eleven after losing the World
- 10:46Speaker 1: Cup quarterfinals. Earling Holland, we're really taking that loss.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Heard they don't have elevens in Norway's dude, you gotta
- 10:56Speaker 4: visit it when you're down here.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You gotta hit one one again for sure. England, Argentina, France,
- 11:04Speaker 1: Spain would be like if Duke Kansas, Carolina and Kentucky
- 11:10Speaker 1: made the final four, a couple of blue bloods cutting
- 11:13Speaker 1: it up. I mean, this is this is the blue
- 11:16Speaker 1: bloods of soccer, right.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Very chucky one through four.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Yup.
- 11:19Speaker 3: It's like a men's tennis tournament. Yeah.
- 11:24Speaker 1: FIFA saying they'll look at expanding the World Cup to
- 11:27Speaker 1: sixty four countries. Great, Just what we need more games
- 11:33Speaker 1: against more bad teams to convince ourselves the USA is
- 11:37Speaker 1: good at soccer.
- 11:39Speaker 4: I will say I don't understand why they're playing the
- 11:42Speaker 4: two semi finals at three o'clock Eastern time in the
- 11:45Speaker 4: middle of the week.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Does anybody understand why they're doing that?
- 11:47Speaker 4: I thought the whole point of having the host country
- 11:49Speaker 4: as you play it at the times you want to
- 11:51Speaker 4: and stop worrying about the rest of the world.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Well, hold on, what time is it in you know
- 11:54Speaker 1: what time is it in France when they play those kids?
- 11:56Speaker 1: It's going to be nine o'clock at night. Yeah, right, but.
- 11:59Speaker 3: We don't care.
- 12:00Speaker 4: I didn't see the ones in Qatar playing at two
- 12:02Speaker 4: in the morning, so the United States could get a
- 12:04Speaker 4: decent time. No, I think we should do it whenever
- 12:07Speaker 4: the heck we want to.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Okay, but you're talking the French audience out of it,
- 12:12Speaker 1: and we're the host. Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 4: Yeah, hundreds of one hundred thousand people coming to show
- 12:17Speaker 4: up at three o'clock on a Tuesday. There's some kids
- 12:19Speaker 4: who are being abandoned at home.
- 12:21Speaker 6: To Isy's point, if you put that game on at
- 12:24Speaker 6: France at four am in the morning, France is waking up,
- 12:28Speaker 6: England's waking up, Spain's waking up for that game. If anything,
- 12:31Speaker 6: we should be catering to a more American audience because
- 12:34Speaker 6: we're the ones that need the incentive to watch the.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Socket is all right, So you guys are agreeing, all
- 12:39Speaker 1: of you. Mikey's agreeing to you. Guys all agree with Izzy.
- 12:44Speaker 1: I would say, if you ran that television network, you
- 12:46Speaker 1: want to capture as many people as possible. And the
- 12:48Speaker 1: people you're going to capture at nine o'clock at night
- 12:51Speaker 1: are the people in France, like you'll get also a
- 12:53Speaker 1: Tuesday at.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Three, right, Yeah, but you're getting the people in France
- 12:56Speaker 2: no matter what time you put it on. So why
- 12:58Speaker 2: not get the people who will only watch it because
- 13:01Speaker 2: of the how what time it's on.
- 13:04Speaker 4: They might fall asleep in front of the TV, but
- 13:06Speaker 4: it will be on and it will be counted.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Let me ask you guys a question, Okay, because you're
- 13:09Speaker 1: saying you're getting France no matter what time you put
- 13:11Speaker 1: it on. If you put the super Bowl on at
- 13:14Speaker 1: two in the morning, do you think you're getting the
- 13:16Speaker 1: same audience as you would if you put the super
- 13:18Speaker 1: Bowl on at six thirty at night.
- 13:20Speaker 3: You're saying international if you're a Jets, no.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I'm saying here in the United States, Yes, that's what
- 13:24Speaker 1: I'm saying, because if you push the gate, if you
- 13:26Speaker 1: push the World Cup semi final to a six fifteen start,
- 13:30Speaker 1: it's like three in the morning in France or something
- 13:32Speaker 1: like that.
- 13:32Speaker 3: Yeah, but Stude, they had this is just how big
- 13:35Speaker 3: this event is.
- 13:36Speaker 4: They had a parade in Norway to celebrate qualifying for
- 13:40Speaker 4: the World Cup Final.
- 13:41Speaker 1: They had a parade like they just accomplished the greatest thing.
- 13:44Speaker 4: So of course millions of people are just gonna stay
- 13:47Speaker 4: up late one day.
- 13:48Speaker 1: It's Stu.
- 13:49Speaker 2: If the Jets made the Super Bowl and they put
- 13:50Speaker 2: it on at two in the morning.
- 13:52Speaker 1: You'll be up to watch it. Yes, Like what?
- 13:54Speaker 2: No, No, not everyone else question, Like anybody who's a
- 13:57Speaker 2: Jet fan will be and everybody in France, I assume,
- 14:00Speaker 2: is going to be a France soccer fan.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess Caleb Wilson has it.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I'm telling you, agreed it.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Factor. If we redrafted the twenty twenty six NBA draft
- 14:18Speaker 1: after one Summer League game, Caleb Wilson would go number
- 14:22Speaker 1: one overall.
- 14:24Speaker 4: That man was great and I'm so happy because I've
- 14:26Speaker 4: been I've been talking him up for months now, and
- 14:29Speaker 4: if he would have come out and wet, the bad
- 14:30Speaker 4: would been like my credibility is shot.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Hey, Lebron, we're waiting.
- 14:38Speaker 3: Enough.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Fel like today today it's such a it's this week
- 14:43Speaker 1: for sure, got about it? Yes, Bryce Harper wants MLB
- 14:48Speaker 1: to allow players to use metal bats during the bonus
- 14:50Speaker 1: round of the home run derby. Now we're talking.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel like that would have been your idea.
- 14:55Speaker 3: You should have come up with that one.
- 14:57Speaker 1: It's a good idea though, right, just for the South. Yeah,
- 15:01Speaker 1: being one of those kids in the outfield would be
- 15:04Speaker 1: the most dangerous job in sports.
- 15:07Speaker 3: You got you gotta how many at least three hundred
- 15:10Speaker 3: feet back? Yeah, the line drives would kill somebody.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Put it on the pole tailor would somebody die just
- 15:17Speaker 1: just like that? Yes, nice of Janick Sinner to remember
- 15:21Speaker 1: he's Yanick Sinner.
- 15:23Speaker 3: But that men's tennis chuck five.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Majors now for him at the age of twenty four.
- 15:28Speaker 3: H let's forget about that whole uh steroid thing.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Yep, we have Yanick Sinner with ten straight winds over
- 15:42Speaker 1: Alexander Zevhyrett. I don't know how to say his name
- 15:45Speaker 1: is Verev Verev, I mean, Jesus mister second place. You
- 15:50Speaker 1: know what that means?
- 15:51Speaker 3: Is he what's that.
- 15:52Speaker 1: It means he has his number all right.
- 15:55Speaker 4: By the way, Stu, you'll be happy to know that
- 15:57Speaker 4: a professional golf announcer during this Gottish Open called him
- 16:02Speaker 4: Rory McElroy, which is what you call it.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Yes, so you're not alone there. It's kind of difficult
- 16:06Speaker 3: for some people.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Yes, Taylor, get that guy in the show. I missed
- 16:12Speaker 1: Lake Tahoe already.
- 16:14Speaker 3: Yeah, me too, I do. I haven't been there in
- 16:17Speaker 3: a few years, but I miss.
- 16:18Speaker 1: It, Taylor, Do you miss it? Yeah?
- 16:23Speaker 6: I saw Scarlet Johnson on Saturday. What Yeah, Colin Jose left. Yeah,
- 16:28Speaker 6: Colin Joe's boy, Colin jos almost hit a hole in
- 16:31Speaker 6: one on seventeen stuck ITTI like, ye three inches away?
- 16:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but he was terrible, right Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 6: Besides that, he's mostly terrible at I don't want.
- 16:41Speaker 1: To say terrible.
- 16:41Speaker 6: He's like he's like a low nineties golfer.
- 16:44Speaker 1: But you can't wear a sweater he wore on Sunday
- 16:47Speaker 1: and claimed like, you can't do that and be bad
- 16:49Speaker 1: at golf, right, I.
- 16:51Speaker 6: Think he can just because he went to Harvard and
- 16:52Speaker 6: it's kind of like the pretentious.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Look that he's married to. Scarlett Johanns. Yeah. Yeah, and
- 16:58Speaker 1: you can't golf like that if you're been married to
- 17:00Speaker 1: Carl and Joeyansy.
- 17:01Speaker 4: He's that guy that I want secretly to learn terrible
- 17:04Speaker 4: things about him.
- 17:05Speaker 3: It's like he can't be a good guy, right, he
- 17:07Speaker 3: can't have all these things.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Marty Fish with his third American Century Championship. The F
- 17:16Speaker 1: and Fish stands for first place again, Marty Fish. Do
- 17:21Speaker 1: it on the PGA Tour.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Yes, The M and Marty stands for move on, play
- 17:26Speaker 3: somewhere else. Give other people a chance.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Do it on the PGA Tour is so unfair. He
- 17:33Speaker 1: was a professional tennis player, man.
- 17:36Speaker 3: And he's probably better at home.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, you shouldn't be allowed to win the American Century
- 17:41Speaker 1: Championship three times. Give somebody else a chance. Is he's
- 17:46Speaker 1: agreeing with this, So is my key. I love Marty,
- 17:49Speaker 1: He's my god. This means a lot to him. It's
- 17:51Speaker 1: his masters.
- 17:52Speaker 3: Dynasties are bad for golf.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Tiger was fine. We didn't care he could win every year.
- 17:58Speaker 1: But we're fine with that.
- 18:01Speaker 3: Special exception.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah. Rich Eisen finishing eighty eighty ninth out of ninety celebrities.
- 18:08Speaker 1: You know what the ian Eisen stands for everybody butt
- 18:12Speaker 1: John O'Hurley beat him.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Who is John O'Hurley at least John o' hurley friend
- 18:19Speaker 2: of the show.
- 18:20Speaker 1: Oh really with us?
- 18:21Speaker 3: We lovey, all right, I love you John.
- 18:25Speaker 1: You know what the O and John O'Hurley stands for.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Only Rich Eisen was better.
- 18:34Speaker 3: I very much know who John O'Hurley is. I apologize
- 18:36Speaker 3: to John.
- 18:37Speaker 1: I had a moment with Rich Eisen. I think we
- 18:39Speaker 1: cleared the air. And this isn't helping what we're doing
- 18:42Speaker 1: right now, but I think me and Rich Eisen had
- 18:44Speaker 1: a moment and I think we're good.
- 18:45Speaker 3: Yeah. I feel like you're burying the lead here, like
- 18:48Speaker 3: that's big news.
- 18:49Speaker 1: That's big Newsul Taylor and we talked about it on
- 18:52Speaker 1: the show, although I'm not certain I had a moment
- 18:54Speaker 1: with him. Listen, he had a power flex. He brought
- 18:56Speaker 1: Larry Larry David to the proceedings. That is a power
- 18:59Speaker 1: move atward flex and my glasses fell off and then
- 19:02Speaker 1: my mic got knocked over by Rich Eyesen. He was
- 19:05Speaker 1: responsible for bringing Larry David there, played in the Celebrity program.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I had a moment with Larry David and then I
- 19:12Speaker 1: and then I think I squashed the beef with Rich Asen.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I told him I liked this radio program. I did.
- 19:16Speaker 1: He said it's pace. Well, I like his producers.
- 19:18Speaker 3: He gets good.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Did he get back to told him it's good?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Did he say it back to you?
- 19:24Speaker 1: No, he said he goes it met the lot coming
- 19:26Speaker 1: from a guy who knows what he's talking about, who
- 19:27Speaker 1: knows how hard it is to do this.
- 19:29Speaker 3: He didn't say he liked your radio show. Okay, I
- 19:31Speaker 3: think he still is.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I don't think he listens to my radio.
- 19:34Speaker 4: Then you should maintain the beef that I want to.
- 19:37Speaker 4: Hear it back from Richizon.
- 19:39Speaker 3: I like Rich Eyson.
- 19:40Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm torn now because then he paddled
- 19:44Speaker 1: our flex with Larry David punch him without hesitation.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Do you try to be funny around Larry David or
- 19:51Speaker 4: do you just sit back and hope that he's funny?
- 19:53Speaker 1: So it's interesting. I don't try to be funny around
- 19:56Speaker 1: Larry David. Excuse me, that's Tahoe Tahoe just coming out
- 19:59Speaker 1: of my my right now. I don't try to be
- 20:01Speaker 1: funny in front of Larry David. But if you had
- 20:03Speaker 1: a five second elevator pitch to Larry David. What do
- 20:07Speaker 1: you imagine you would say? Because I did, and I
- 20:09Speaker 1: can tell you what I said. Tell me, I said,
- 20:12Speaker 1: new York Jewish Knicks fan. He said, wow, you got
- 20:17Speaker 1: right to the point. And I said, I figured I
- 20:20Speaker 1: had five seconds to get to my point and here
- 20:23Speaker 1: we are still talking. So it worked. And he laughed
- 20:26Speaker 1: a little bit and he said, you're right, well done.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Can you take me through the pitch?
- 20:31Speaker 1: What was that? Is that? Like a I was letting
- 20:35Speaker 1: him know that I'm a New Yorker as well, then
- 20:37Speaker 1: I'm a Knicks fan as well, and then I'm Jewish
- 20:39Speaker 1: as well, and that we had three things in common.
- 20:41Speaker 1: That's all I was trying to do to get more
- 20:43Speaker 1: time with Larry David, which I eventually did, which was
- 20:46Speaker 1: three or four more minutes. And I wasted his time,
- 20:48Speaker 1: I wasted my time.
- 20:49Speaker 3: That's all. Probably still the most efficient you've ever been.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, that was my resume right, Yes, just like you, Larry.
- 21:01Speaker 1: And I'm a Knicks fit just like you, Larry. Oh God, Anyway,
- 21:06Speaker 1: I would have wanted my quarterback in Tahoe this weekend.
- 21:09Speaker 1: I only want them in a gym or on a
- 21:11Speaker 1: field getting ready for the season. Can't wait for Trevor
- 21:15Speaker 1: Lawrence or Baker Mayfield to have a bad game this
- 21:17Speaker 1: season so I could blame Tahoe.
- 21:20Speaker 4: I saw Baker Mayfield dancing in his golf gear. I
- 21:22Speaker 4: was like, it doesn't quite hit the same, does not.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield was truly terrible karaoke.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Really what song did he try?
- 21:31Speaker 1: I don't remember. I just remembering over. Is there a
- 21:34Speaker 1: song called Grapevine?
- 21:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 21:37Speaker 1: I heard it through the grave. Yeah that's what I'm
- 21:40Speaker 1: Marvin Gay.
- 21:41Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah he went.
- 21:42Speaker 1: But is he I'm telling you he is so confident
- 21:44Speaker 1: Baker Mayfield, while the rest of us were like, oh
- 21:46Speaker 1: my god, this is embarrassing. I'm pretty certain he was
- 21:49Speaker 1: convinced that he nailed it, you know.
- 21:51Speaker 3: I mean, the guy was the number one pick in
- 21:52Speaker 3: the NFL drafts.
- 21:53Speaker 4: He should be confident for the rest of his life.
- 21:58Speaker 1: You haven't truly lived until you've heard Marcus Allen singing
- 22:02Speaker 1: Ain't No Sunshine on karaoke night in Lake Taha.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Does he have a nice voice?
- 22:08Speaker 1: It's up, all right, It's good.
- 22:09Speaker 5: It's a good voice, soulful voice.
- 22:14Speaker 1: All weekend. I kept mumbling under my breath, how the
- 22:18Speaker 1: hell did Trey wingo get invited to the American Century
- 22:21Speaker 1: Championship and play in the field. Over me.
- 22:27Speaker 3: Hour a ESPN man.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Speaking of Hell or Bruce, is he Those are the
- 22:36Speaker 1: weak cad observation
