- 0:48Speaker 2: with his exquisite body, with his perfectly manicured hair, with
- 0:53Speaker 2: a stylish clothes. The poor old Nogi is under the

- 1:02Speaker 2: puss and so he can't join us today. And so
- 1:06Speaker 2: instead I'm looking across a studio and I see old
- 1:10Speaker 2: Kezy Hello with his little jacket on and as.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Bigger than any jacket you could fit.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Finning Mow with his filthy, filthy Warriors cap. I mean
- 1:22Speaker 2: there's goofy look, but you know that's all ge, that's
- 1:26Speaker 2: all Jiut. We didn't sign you up to be the
- 1:30Speaker 2: eye candy of the show, Keezy. That was Mogi's job.
- 1:33Speaker 4: But no, you need an eye candy on a radio show.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Well you kind of do, you know, for all your
- 1:37Speaker 2: socials and stuff. But how are you made? Hell's life?
- 1:40Speaker 4: I'm good.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Have you ever heard the phrase getting off to a
- 1:42Speaker 5: bad start? No, sitting off on the wrong foot? No, okay,
- 1:45Speaker 5: don't worry about it.
- 1:47Speaker 4: I'm great. Failers.
- 1:48Speaker 5: Spent the day today, a small portion of it playing
- 1:50Speaker 5: golf with Jace, got really wet, played terrible, and then
- 1:54Speaker 5: came into work.
- 1:55Speaker 4: But we've got Pugs an now.
- 1:56Speaker 5: Sitting in the Keezy spots to Usually Mogi be looking
- 1:59Speaker 5: over seeing Kezy there with his little jacket on and
- 2:02Speaker 5: his motley little mow and his disgustingly filthy Warriors hat.
- 2:06Speaker 5: Today we see Pugs.
- 2:07Speaker 4: How are you, hey, fellas, I'm good.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 2:10Speaker 3: My red curry spilled all through my bag and over
- 2:13Speaker 3: my clothes, so I'm not wearing any underwear and I'm
- 2:16Speaker 3: wearing an undershirt under this jacket.
- 2:18Speaker 4: You and I also forgot a belt.
- 2:21Speaker 3: So if you happen to get flashed at some point
- 2:24Speaker 3: during the show, I apologize in advance because just for
- 2:26Speaker 3: the listeners.
- 2:27Speaker 5: Pugs is wearing a full blown rain jacket done right
- 2:30Speaker 5: up and zipped right up.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I thought that was a look you were going.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Well, I mean, it just happens to be that as well.
- 2:35Speaker 2: Um, because it was like, god, what a weird look.
- 2:38Speaker 2: But then again, it's you, Pugs, and we're sort of
- 2:40Speaker 2: used to that. But I say, can I say your
- 2:44Speaker 2: hair is magnificent today?
- 2:47Speaker 3: Make unificent cheers jas you're wearing your hairs up as well.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Well, yes, I had a cap on and then I
- 2:55Speaker 2: took so I've got hair here? What is it here on?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 3:00Speaker 2: Yeah, hat hair.
- 3:01Speaker 5: You've got hat hair, Jay seven salted Pugs and I
- 3:05Speaker 5: I just want.
- 3:06Speaker 4: To say that you look great today, Thank you man,
- 3:08Speaker 4: and I do.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Hey, Kezy, what's coming upon the show mate?
- 3:16Speaker 3: What's happening on the big show with old Keesy, nice
- 3:20Speaker 3: new sting Pugs.
- 3:21Speaker 4: That took me ages.
- 3:22Speaker 5: That's using what's it called when you sort of use
- 3:24Speaker 5: your initiative and yes, and your initiative, that's the one coming.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Up on the show today.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Of course, another chance to win tur undred and fifty
- 3:30Speaker 5: dollars with the pies that pay. Yeah, boy, if you
- 3:32Speaker 5: hear the pirates, oh eight hundred hodak, you could win
- 3:34Speaker 5: that cash. Also got a bone to pick with one
- 3:37Speaker 5: member of the Big Show family, Jay who I'm not
- 3:41Speaker 5: saying who it is now, but just know that it's
- 3:42Speaker 5: one of you. And also coming up next. Yesterday on
- 3:45Speaker 5: the show, we bought a racing pigeon. We need a
- 3:49Speaker 5: name for that pigeon. We're going to be going into
- 3:50Speaker 5: names surely because people have already started texting them through
- 3:53Speaker 5: on three four eight three. Feel free to keep them coming.
- 3:55Speaker 5: Every text in the draw for fifty bucks.
- 3:57Speaker 4: With a Reburger.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Beautiful mate. But in the meantime, have some music.
- 4:00Speaker 1: He's radiohead the Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on
- 4:05Speaker 1: Radio Camp.
- 4:07Speaker 2: There on the Honarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon. The
- 4:10Speaker 2: time is fourteen minutes past four o'clock. Just to remind
- 4:13Speaker 2: people if you're just joining us, No Mogi, today's sinuses
- 4:17Speaker 2: have completely packed in. But hopefully he'll be back forth
- 4:20Speaker 2: with pugs play the Stinggeon.
- 4:28Speaker 5: Yeah, the Big Show brought a racing pigeon.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Let's just let's just stop it right there. What do
- 4:35Speaker 2: you mean the Big Show did not buy a racing pigeon.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Kezy bought a racing pigeon.
- 4:44Speaker 5: I bought a pigeon thinking we'd go four ways on it.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Do you don't want to be part of the four way?
- 4:49Speaker 2: Look? I love a four way most days, but you
- 4:53Speaker 2: never talk to us about it was a prime. The
- 4:56Speaker 2: first time we heard about it was yesterday on the show.
- 5:00Speaker 2: But at this point, Keezy has bought a racing pigeon.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I don't know how you think I can afford a
- 5:06Speaker 4: racing pigeon.
- 5:07Speaker 3: Four hundred bucks one hundred each producer money.
- 5:11Speaker 2: God.
- 5:12Speaker 4: Okay, well, look, okay, well look I.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Don't want you guys crying to me when Pigeon one
- 5:17Speaker 5: oh nine as it's currently named, takes out the top
- 5:20Speaker 5: spot and the money starts rolling in. Okay, Now, just
- 5:23Speaker 5: before we get started, here, a big shout out to Tim.
- 5:25Speaker 5: There's a pub down and Tim aaru there called Hector Blacks.
- 5:28Speaker 4: He runs the joint.
- 5:29Speaker 5: He's the one who's organized this whole thing for us,
- 5:31Speaker 5: all right, So big shout out to this on his.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Background, By the way, is he a pigeon enthusiast?
- 5:35Speaker 5: No, No, he runs the pub and runs the competition
- 5:38Speaker 5: on behalf of the Bird Racing Club. I think he
- 5:41Speaker 5: said from so there's you know, it's a proper pigeon
- 5:44Speaker 5: racing club.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Yeah yeah.
- 5:47Speaker 2: Is it okay for me to feel like a bit
- 5:51Speaker 2: icky about a pigeon enthusiast.
- 5:54Speaker 4: But just you judging people that?
- 5:57Speaker 5: Well, No, it's just well, I'd probably love you with
- 6:00Speaker 5: that beak you're running.
- 6:05Speaker 2: It's just as someone says to me, I'm a pigeon enthusiast,
- 6:08Speaker 2: I immediately just sort of shut down mentor yuck. Other
- 6:12Speaker 2: people's youms, all right, okay, oh fine, yeah, well that's true, man,
- 6:16Speaker 2: that's absolutely true. Keysy fair point.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, okay. So we've bought the big shows, bought
- 6:21Speaker 5: a work. Keysy's bought a racing pigeon, and hopefully the
- 6:25Speaker 5: big show comes in on it before the race starts.
- 6:27Speaker 5: All right, now, the way this is going to work,
- 6:29Speaker 5: it's currently named Pigeon one O nine w Any people
- 6:32Speaker 5: are texting on three four eight three what shall we
- 6:34Speaker 5: name the pigeon? Because that's the first step. We've got to
- 6:36Speaker 5: find a name for the sucker. Once it's got a
- 6:37Speaker 5: proper name, I think then you'll feel that connection.
- 6:40Speaker 4: Jason.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Now before we start, you see, this is the issue
- 6:43Speaker 2: I have too, is that pigeons are dear brains. So
- 6:47Speaker 2: we're going to name the pigeon and it's not even
- 6:49Speaker 2: going to know it's that. It's not you know, whatever
- 6:51Speaker 2: the name is, it's not going to know it's its name.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Well, it's not like we're going to be calling out
- 6:55Speaker 3: to the pigeon, are we, Jason.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Well, how does it get back? Then?
- 6:58Speaker 5: Okay, I don't have the time to explain how pigeons work.
- 7:01Speaker 5: Wherever they are raised and wherever they are hatch that's
- 7:03Speaker 5: where they'll fly back to.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Actually, I remember saying that to my wife actually when
- 7:07Speaker 2: I was watching Game of Thrown. Do you know how
- 7:08Speaker 2: they have the crows ravens? It's like, how do they
- 7:11Speaker 2: get back?
- 7:16Speaker 5: So before we get into reading out names, Jase, okay,
- 7:19Speaker 5: and yes, the pigeon won't know its name, but your
- 7:20Speaker 5: cat doesn't know that its name is Jiz. Actually, just
- 7:22Speaker 5: on that, Pugs. Can you play the next thing please? Jeez.
- 7:28Speaker 5: That is currently the name of Jason's cat, as chosen
- 7:30Speaker 5: by the audience. This is the name of Moggie's cat,
- 7:33Speaker 5: as chosen.
- 7:34Speaker 4: By the audience.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Sit Chris.
- 7:39Speaker 5: There is a real through line I've noticed already on
- 7:41Speaker 5: three four eighty three of either jizz or bird shit
- 7:44Speaker 5: cres being the name for this pigeon. For example, last
- 7:47Speaker 5: night when I mentioned we had the pigeon, these tics
- 7:50Speaker 5: came in unsolicited. Surely it's going to be called bird shit, jizz,
- 7:55Speaker 5: pigges Pingez no Ah, bird shit, Chris Ingle, bird Humpadin
- 8:03Speaker 5: Yeah I got that DMed as well. It's brilliant, which
- 8:05Speaker 5: is a good one, really good. So what I want
- 8:07Speaker 5: is for people to think of clever names for this pigeon.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Three four eight three. Every text in the drawer for
- 8:12Speaker 5: some reburger. We'll read out a few of the selections
- 8:14Speaker 5: next because they are coming in thick and fast.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff mate. In the meantime, he's a bit
- 8:18Speaker 2: of oasis for you.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Tune the Hold Acting Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 8:25Speaker 1: Kezy tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Action mus They're on the hold Achi Big Show this
- 8:32Speaker 2: Wednesday afternoon. The time twenty six minutes past four o'clock.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Yes, that's right.
- 8:42Speaker 5: The Big Show has purchased a racing pigeon, Kesy More,
- 8:48Speaker 5: a racing pigeon on that look whoever has purchased the pigeon,
- 8:51Speaker 5: it's irrelevant, all right, although we'll need one hundred bucks
- 8:54Speaker 5: for me to be pretty sharpish. Now, this racing pigeon
- 8:58Speaker 5: is competing down south that races from all over the
- 9:00Speaker 5: country and it finishes in which is where the Pigeon
- 9:03Speaker 5: Racing Club is. I believe we are the one hundred
- 9:06Speaker 5: and ninth pigeon out of one hundred and fifteen. You know,
- 9:09Speaker 5: so you know, not a huge field, but also not
- 9:12Speaker 5: a small.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Field or flock. Is it a flock of pigeons? Jas? Yes,
- 9:17Speaker 4: I think generally with birds generally.
- 9:19Speaker 2: If well, no, having said that, like a flock of
- 9:22Speaker 2: crows as a murder of crows. Cool. Yeah, that's pretty cool.
- 9:27Speaker 4: That's always the go to examples. A group of pigeon
- 9:30Speaker 4: is called a flock.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go googled. Can I just ask before
- 9:37Speaker 2: pigeon one oh nine takes this flight, can we see
- 9:41Speaker 2: the pigeon? Can we give it?
- 9:43Speaker 5: So I'd like to say that some you know, I'll
- 9:45Speaker 5: talk to pigeon tim from down from down to Hector
- 9:48Speaker 5: Blacks there in Timodo, who's organizing the whole thing. I'll
- 9:51Speaker 5: get ask him to get a snap of the old pigeon. Yes,
- 9:53Speaker 5: because we want to know what we're buying now. As
- 9:54Speaker 5: mentioned earlier, text through three four eight three, what should
- 9:57Speaker 5: the pigeon be called? Every text in the drawer for
- 10:00Speaker 5: fifty bucks with the reburger, and once again, Jase, your
- 10:02Speaker 5: cat's name is jizz because the audience shows it. Yes,
- 10:05Speaker 5: Mogi's Cat's name is bird shit cress because the audience
- 10:07Speaker 5: chose it. I want to get away from this kind
- 10:09Speaker 5: of name. We're cleverer than that. So, for example, this
- 10:12Speaker 5: one here, I don't think we are this one here,
- 10:15Speaker 5: wheezy Keezy midnight steamer. That's not a good name for
- 10:18Speaker 5: a pigeon.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I quite like wheezy keasy.
- 10:22Speaker 5: What about pep short for piss eared pigeon? Piss eared pigeon.
- 10:26Speaker 5: Pigeons don't have ears?
- 10:27Speaker 4: Well, I mean you bought it, so pigeons don't have ears.
- 10:30Speaker 4: The Big Show bought it.
- 10:31Speaker 2: I think you'll find that pigeons have massive ears.
- 10:35Speaker 4: What they're way wonky. Do pigeons have ears? Oh my god, yes,
- 10:40Speaker 4: they absolutely do.
- 10:42Speaker 5: They don't have external ear flaps, no, According to this,
- 10:46Speaker 5: they have hidden ear canals tapped just behind and slightly
- 10:49Speaker 5: below their eyes.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Well, of course they do kezy, because how will they
- 10:52Speaker 2: know when you're calling them home?
- 10:54Speaker 4: Well, they just go home. You don't call them home,
- 10:56Speaker 4: They just go. God, I think we need a nail
- 10:59Speaker 4: down and facts about how the racing works.
- 11:01Speaker 5: Yeah, we'll give pigeon to McCall again at some at
- 11:04Speaker 5: some stage. All right, let's go through some of these
- 11:05Speaker 5: names here. If you're speckled Jim, now that's a reference
- 11:09Speaker 5: to the famous British sitcom Blackadder. This fourth season, Stephen
- 11:14Speaker 5: FRI's character has a pigeon named speckled Jim.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Yeah, nice clever, it's.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Clever les Cletus the pigeon. It's from Damien Red Nickish, isn't.
- 11:25Speaker 4: It bird ship pigeon? Yeah, I mean that's from Nicky.
- 11:31Speaker 2: That's my favorite so far.
- 11:33Speaker 5: Can we just get away from them having the words
- 11:35Speaker 5: bird shit or gears in the.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Name because I'm actually heard, and I'm being serious here
- 11:42Speaker 2: that racing pigeons are prolific shitters.
- 11:48Speaker 4: And where did you hear that?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Just on the web?
- 11:52Speaker 4: Do you listen to the web?
- 11:53Speaker 5: Do you Rory Boris Pecker? Because Boris Becker, right, gon athlete.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Got nothing to do with tennis, though he's also suggested
- 12:04Speaker 3: Ryan Flox Ryan Flox, which I think is clever.
- 12:07Speaker 5: Because he's just literally just won the open Ryan Flox.
- 12:10Speaker 5: Yeah again, no, no, no, but it's a sports chase.
- 12:12Speaker 5: He's an athlete. Pigeon one of nine is also an athlete.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Could be the Ryan Fox of pigeon racing.
- 12:19Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 12:20Speaker 4: We just don't know. Pigeon face that's from Kirk.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Yeah. I think that's an easy one. That's low hanging fruit.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Someone here said coop dog.
- 12:29Speaker 5: Jeers old pugs don't needs to have hoon on a
- 12:32Speaker 5: simber court there.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I like it.
- 12:34Speaker 5: Wee bit chesty in the laugh.
- 12:36Speaker 4: I like coop dogs.
- 12:37Speaker 2: See that's clever.
- 12:37Speaker 5: Pigeonsaurus from Dave Daniel, Ingle Bird Honkerdink from Sam Engelberg.
- 12:44Speaker 4: Vroom vroom humpages. Ingle that's my favorite so far, room
- 12:50Speaker 4: room humpages.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Yes, you're just saying the worst ones are your favorite.
- 12:54Speaker 5: I see what you do trying to sabotage Pigeon one
- 12:56Speaker 5: O nine here. Oh I like this one though, having
- 12:57Speaker 5: said that pigeon shit pugs on that works, that works
- 13:01Speaker 5: truely locked that No, we're not gonna lock it in
- 13:03Speaker 5: Utah coming three four eight three we're gonna lock it
- 13:05Speaker 5: a name by the end of the week. This is
- 13:07Speaker 5: a huge occasion, the official Big Show Pigeon and the
- 13:10Speaker 5: naming of such once again. Every text on three four
- 13:12Speaker 5: eight three in the draw for fifty bucks with the
- 13:14Speaker 5: Reburger The hold.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kyzy. Tune in
- 13:18Speaker 1: week days at four on Radio Hold Iking.
- 13:25Speaker 4: It's there, impieds. You're like on Radio Hove Akings.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I'll tell you what, fellas. People are loving getting two
- 13:32Speaker 2: hundred and fifty dollars cash in their bank accounts, aren't they,
- 13:35Speaker 2: And why wouldn't it's two hundred and fifty bucks for free.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Well, that's the weird thing is, before this started, we
- 13:40Speaker 5: were sort of we had a group meeting and we
- 13:42Speaker 5: were like drinking people are like this and we're a
- 13:43Speaker 5: bit effery on it. Yes, but it turns out people
- 13:46Speaker 5: do like two hundred fifty bucks cash cash cash, and.
- 13:48Speaker 4: That's all things to it.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Mate Dad's Pie who of course proudly bake award winning
- 13:53Speaker 5: pies for pie loving New Zealanders.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I've actually heard because people texting, you know, because it's
- 13:58Speaker 2: quite life changing for people. Two hundred and fifty bucks.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Five of the people that have won that two hundred
- 14:04Speaker 2: and fifty bucks have quit their jobs.
- 14:05Speaker 4: Wow?
- 14:06Speaker 2: Really?
- 14:07Speaker 4: Yeah, so we're giving people a new lease.
- 14:09Speaker 2: That's right. They've literally gone into work and gone you
- 14:11Speaker 2: can shove your job. Yeah, I'm rich airs.
- 14:14Speaker 5: I heard that one of the guys from last week
- 14:15Speaker 5: is retired totally.
- 14:17Speaker 2: He's bought a lifestyle block up north Yeah by Russell there,
- 14:22Speaker 2: beautiful spot far out.
- 14:24Speaker 4: It was nice of them to keep us a breast
- 14:26Speaker 4: of what's happened.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Oh totally. I love the good news stories. Can you
- 14:30Speaker 2: see if people winning cash and then just changing their
- 14:33Speaker 2: entire lives.
- 14:33Speaker 5: I'm pretty sure that was the same guy though, who
- 14:36Speaker 5: also got messively into the drugs and alcohol and left
- 14:38Speaker 5: his wife. Yeah yeah, it's actually got massively downhill for
- 14:41Speaker 5: a bit there. It was looking great, It was looking great.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's right, because he couldn't buy the property
- 14:46Speaker 2: and because he's spent.
- 14:47Speaker 5: It all on person. Yeah yeah, but hey, don't forget
- 14:51Speaker 5: Dad's pies. Serious amount of pride baked into every single pie.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Totally. Mate. Let's go to the phone lines, get a
- 14:57Speaker 2: Tom your mad barsard. How's life a pretty good?
- 15:00Speaker 4: Hoy Jersey yourself?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Yeah good, thanks mate, Tell me, Tom, what does Tom
- 15:05Speaker 2: do for a crust? I'm a chippy mate, Well I
- 15:08Speaker 2: try to be anyway a.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Man, Tell me Tom, what does Tom do for a pie?
- 15:14Speaker 4: When he gets one?
- 15:16Speaker 2: A bit of a basic batch when it comes?
- 15:19Speaker 3: You know, I love her.
- 15:19Speaker 4: I steak and cheese and her.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a very nice. Funnily enough. You remember yesterday
- 15:28Speaker 2: on the show Fellas, one of the the guy that
- 15:30Speaker 2: Wan said he likes a steak and onion pie and
- 15:33Speaker 2: we were all like, oh, they still do those. When
- 15:36Speaker 2: I was meeting Keysy for golf today, Tom, I went
- 15:39Speaker 2: into a little cafe there and they had a steak
- 15:41Speaker 2: and onion pie, but I didn't buy it. Amazing, it
- 15:45Speaker 2: was incredible, but they didn't buy it because I look gross.
- 15:48Speaker 4: Chase, I am blown away. There's it. I've got.
- 15:51Speaker 5: I've got goosebumps from that story. Jayson, Hey, Tom, do
- 15:56Speaker 5: you do you want two hundred and fifty bucks?
- 15:57Speaker 2: Mate?
- 15:59Speaker 4: Oh yeah, mate, it sounds like it's a burden. Tom.
- 16:06Speaker 5: You enjoy that, Tom, and then'll go bloody far down
- 16:08Speaker 5: there and need and you hold the lime, mate. Puzzles
- 16:10Speaker 5: sort you out, all right.
- 16:14Speaker 2: That's true? And also punts. This is to add to
- 16:17Speaker 2: the incredible story that I was about. There was a
- 16:21Speaker 2: steak and onion pie and then I bought a beautiful
- 16:25Speaker 2: bacon and egg keish and what happened to them? And
- 16:28Speaker 2: then I went next door to the servo and I'd
- 16:31Speaker 2: taken one bite of it, and I was like, God,
- 16:33Speaker 2: this is so moist and delicious. And I bought myself
- 16:36Speaker 2: a drink for when we were playing golf, and as
- 16:38Speaker 2: I was paying for it, I dropped my bacon and
- 16:42Speaker 2: egg kesh and it splattered all over the floor.
- 16:45Speaker 4: Do you eat it?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:48Speaker 4: Did you think to yourself? Man, that looks good on
- 16:51Speaker 4: the servo floor?
- 16:53Speaker 3: No?
- 16:53Speaker 2: Why were to do that?
- 16:54Speaker 4: Sort of a play on the name of the song,
- 16:56Speaker 4: But not really.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Here's Actic Monkeys.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Hurarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 17:02Speaker 4: Tune in on Radio.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Honarchy, Mitellica there on the Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday afternoon.
- 17:10Speaker 2: The time is four fifty one. Let's talk TV.
- 17:15Speaker 4: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 17:22Speaker 2: That's right, yes, now obviously no Mogi. Today's a bit crop.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Hopefully you'll be back soon. So Kezy you can kick
- 17:31Speaker 2: us off since you're sitting in his seat.
- 17:33Speaker 4: Oh wow, is that how it works.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, so last night, Now this is something that
- 17:37Speaker 5: I fear whenever my wife and I start watching a
- 17:40Speaker 5: new show. So yesterday I came on the show and
- 17:42Speaker 5: I talked about how we watched the first episode of
- 17:44Speaker 5: Outrageous Fortune, yes, which is available every season TVNZ plus
- 17:49Speaker 5: Great Throwback. For some reason, I have gone through my
- 17:52Speaker 5: life without having watched a single second of the show
- 17:54Speaker 5: or knowing anything about it.
- 17:56Speaker 2: That's pretty amazing action because it was huge.
- 17:59Speaker 5: Sleep, I guess at the same time I was watching
- 18:02Speaker 5: I don't even know what I was watching two thousand
- 18:04Speaker 5: and six. I was probably just watching monkey porn, monkey Porn,
- 18:08Speaker 5: bring It Back Man, or just some other cool stuff.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I'm not sure.
- 18:12Speaker 4: But basically, we watched the first episode.
- 18:14Speaker 5: I really enjoyed it. My wife said she enjoyed it,
- 18:16Speaker 5: and then last night I was like, oh, gosh, I
- 18:18Speaker 5: hope she suggests watching episode two, and she did, Oh yeah.
- 18:22Speaker 5: This is a good sign, because sometimes she'll get bored
- 18:24Speaker 5: after one episode and just she'll say, oh, and I
- 18:26Speaker 5: enjoyed it, and then we'll just never watch it ever again.
- 18:28Speaker 5: So we watched the second episode. I really like the characters,
- 18:32Speaker 5: love the matriarch of the West Family played by Robert Malcolm.
- 18:38Speaker 4: Absolutely brilliant.
- 18:39Speaker 5: Love all the characters, love all the intertwining storylines and stuff.
- 18:42Speaker 5: It is funny, a wee bit stressful that right, mix,
- 18:46Speaker 5: really really really enjoying it. Yeah, great stars out of
- 18:49Speaker 5: five so far for Busy. Sorry, and that's available on
- 18:51Speaker 5: TV's in Plus.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Which is great news actually because usually your wife, if
- 18:56Speaker 2: she knows I'm in it, will just refuse to watch it,
- 18:59Speaker 2: end or finish it broken Wood.
- 19:02Speaker 5: To be honest, I suggest it because we're still halfway
- 19:04Speaker 5: through that episode that centers around your character. Yes, there's
- 19:08Speaker 5: something just stopping us from finishing watching it.
- 19:11Speaker 4: I don't know what it is. You're not actually offended
- 19:13Speaker 4: by that idea.
- 19:14Speaker 2: No, not at all.
- 19:15Speaker 4: It's not your performance.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Now Fellers, we got in too. We've been into a
- 19:22Speaker 2: series for a long time called Alone, and basically the
- 19:26Speaker 2: premise of the series is you get dropped off in
- 19:30Speaker 2: a remote location.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Is there anyone with you?
- 19:33Speaker 2: No, obviously you're alone. You get to take ten items
- 19:39Speaker 2: with you and the first couple of series that we
- 19:42Speaker 2: watch were based in Tasmania's right, So they drop you
- 19:46Speaker 2: in the middle of the bush, basically in the middle
- 19:48Speaker 2: of nowhere in Tasmania and there's like fifteen contestants. You're
- 19:53Speaker 2: allowed to take ten things with you and basically the
- 19:57Speaker 2: whole premise of the show is you've just got to
- 19:59Speaker 2: stay out there for as long as.
- 20:01Speaker 3: You can on them taking ten items each. What items
- 20:05Speaker 3: stood out to you the most while watching the show
- 20:07Speaker 3: so far?
- 20:07Speaker 2: Well, basically what I mean, I take Darries.
- 20:12Speaker 4: I said, what items stood out to you?
- 20:15Speaker 2: There hasn't been anything particularly peculiar, because everyone realizes that
- 20:20Speaker 2: you need your basics and maybe a tap, some fish
- 20:23Speaker 2: hooks stuff, so they just go for the news necessity.
- 20:26Speaker 5: So a fish hook, why not a whole fishing rod?
- 20:30Speaker 2: Will some people take a rod and fish hooks, and
- 20:33Speaker 2: some just take a fish hook, and some just take
- 20:35Speaker 2: a fishhock and make their own little twine with it,
- 20:38Speaker 2: you know, for example, you're right, and it's it's actually
- 20:41Speaker 2: a really entertaining show. And we always like the start
- 20:45Speaker 2: of any series because you almost automatically know who's going
- 20:49Speaker 2: to bottle it really early, and it's always the overthinkers.
- 20:53Speaker 2: It's always the ones that go, now, I can't afford
- 20:56Speaker 2: to do this, this and this and within this next episod,
- 21:00Speaker 2: so they're doing all of those things, and then they
- 21:01Speaker 2: fall apart and have to leave. And my wife and
- 21:05Speaker 2: you know, the winners end up staying there because they
- 21:07Speaker 2: have to catch their own food, build their own shelter,
- 21:09Speaker 2: all that stuff. It's freezing cold, there's predators everywhere.
- 21:14Speaker 3: You know.
- 21:15Speaker 2: These people are staying up there for seventy eighty days.
- 21:18Speaker 2: They get two hundred and fifty thousand. Wow, the winner
- 21:22Speaker 2: quarter of a million. And I said to my wife,
- 21:24Speaker 2: how long do you reckon you'd last? And she reckons
- 21:27Speaker 2: about two days. And I reckon, I could do like
- 21:31Speaker 2: three or four days, because I've watched Hey, you're I've
- 21:35Speaker 2: been watching heaps of YouTube camping video, So I reckon
- 21:39Speaker 2: I could get by, And I think, to my advantages,
- 21:42Speaker 2: I just take the pest the entire time of a
- 21:45Speaker 2: situation that, yeah, I die, But it'd be bloody funny,
- 21:48Speaker 2: it would.
- 21:49Speaker 4: They don't have muck bangs out in the woods Man.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Yeah that's true. I'll probably take my phone with me too,
- 21:53Speaker 2: so I could watch muck bang.
- 21:55Speaker 4: How many how many busies?
- 21:57Speaker 2: It is actually genuine. The one we're watching now is
- 21:59Speaker 2: in a oscar, freezing cold that they are entertaining. You
- 22:03Speaker 2: just watch people just integrate. It's great stuff. I'll give
- 22:05Speaker 2: it three and a half busies. So WHI do you
- 22:07Speaker 2: watch that TV? And T plus good stuff?
- 22:10Speaker 4: What do you jay?
- 22:13Speaker 1: The whole actual Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 22:18Speaker 2: I welcome Becky Messive Backbones. I hope you're surviving your
- 22:22Speaker 2: hump day. You're listening to the Big Show brought to
- 22:24Speaker 2: you by reboog.
- 22:26Speaker 3: You handcrafted big years, loaded fries and Gormet eats that
- 22:30Speaker 3: will change the game.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, y y.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Y yeah, great stuff, great stuff.
- 22:35Speaker 5: I've got a bachelor tonight, fellas bachelor.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Wow.
- 22:40Speaker 5: I caught myself there. I don't have a bachelor coming
- 22:42Speaker 5: over tonight.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Kesey, what it's okay if you do? Man?
- 22:47Speaker 4: Thanks Jase. I don't just be you, be you. I'm
- 22:50Speaker 4: gonna be me. Chris, what yourself?
- 22:53Speaker 2: Man? Thank you? What's his name? What's his name?
- 22:57Speaker 4: Whose name? The Bachelor?
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 23:00Speaker 5: No, I'm having a bachelor night. Oh oh, I'm solo
- 23:05Speaker 5: in the evening after the show.
- 23:06Speaker 4: That's exciting.
- 23:07Speaker 5: My wife's best made us up from christ Church. They're
- 23:10Speaker 5: going out for dinner tonight to my favorite restaurant. Yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 5: I'm not allowed to go.
- 23:14Speaker 4: Why what do you mean you're not allowed to go?
- 23:16Speaker 2: Well because he gets steamed and makes a spectacle of himself.
- 23:20Speaker 4: Yeah, it's just how I if and talk.
- 23:24Speaker 5: Plus I wanted to bring my bachelor with me, but
- 23:27Speaker 5: my wife wouldn't have it. Yeah. Yeah, I was like,
- 23:28Speaker 5: surely at the table for fours all g It's just like, nah,
- 23:31Speaker 5: I don't even know why you want to you know, sores.
- 23:34Speaker 2: The question that you want to ask us is what
- 23:37Speaker 2: are you and your batchel are going to have for dinner? Yeah?
- 23:41Speaker 2: Because would you even have time to eat? What do
- 23:44Speaker 2: you mean, well, are you in your bed? He's coming
- 23:47Speaker 2: over because your wife's going out with his best mate?
- 23:50Speaker 4: I mean from Christ that you were in the start
- 23:53Speaker 4: pool that was five years ago. No, it's not that guy.
- 23:56Speaker 4: I worsh he's great.
- 23:58Speaker 6: No.
- 23:58Speaker 4: So I'm just thinking what am I gonna have for
- 24:00Speaker 4: dinner tonight? Yes, Reburger is on the list. It's on
- 24:03Speaker 4: the list. Yeah, it's on the list.
- 24:05Speaker 5: It's not definitely what I'm gonna have, but it's it's
- 24:07Speaker 5: I've got a short list of three options and it's
- 24:10Speaker 5: on the list.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm actually intrigued by you. Know, you can tell
- 24:13Speaker 2: a lot by a person and what they have on
- 24:15Speaker 2: their bachelor night. You know, like what do you run with?
- 24:19Speaker 2: I mean, if you're beautiful, beautiful partner you know, goes
- 24:25Speaker 2: out for a night, and I mean beautiful in an
- 24:28Speaker 2: emotional third, the beautiful, beautiful and it goes out for
- 24:33Speaker 2: the night. What's what's pug sound running with?
- 24:35Speaker 3: Because she is vegetarian, generally I'll go for a meat
- 24:38Speaker 3: based option.
- 24:40Speaker 4: So usually sud carry on.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Maybe oh geez, I can't really be asked cooking, so
- 24:48Speaker 3: maybe like a kebab take out kebab, you know, some
- 24:51Speaker 3: Mediterranean lambish dish if it's not reburger.
- 24:55Speaker 5: But he's trying to sound fancy pointing, is that?
- 24:58Speaker 3: What do you mean?
- 24:59Speaker 2: That is?
- 25:00Speaker 3: So I'm spending up large on delivery apps, so I'm
- 25:05Speaker 3: gonna go hard man.
- 25:06Speaker 4: What do you having, Jason?
- 25:07Speaker 2: I'm going hot pot all the way fellows, So.
- 25:09Speaker 4: The same thing you have when you're with your wife.
- 25:11Speaker 2: I'll have a hot pote south from go to bed early.
- 25:14Speaker 2: What about you? New Zealand text our three four eight three?
- 25:18Speaker 2: What are you running with? In your batch? Running with?
- 25:20Speaker 4: What are you running with? Is this a new topic?
- 25:23Speaker 5: Is it I can be why not we can revisit
- 25:26Speaker 5: it later three four o three every text in the
- 25:28Speaker 5: drawer for a fifty dollars reburg of voucher.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Here's she had the Whole Archy Big Show with Jason,
- 25:34Speaker 1: Mike and Kezy. Tune in week days at four on
- 25:37Speaker 1: Radio hod ich Us.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Indeed, Pearl Jam there on the Hold Donkey Big Show
- 25:41Speaker 2: this Wednesday afternoon. The time is fifteen minutes past five o'clock.
- 25:44Speaker 2: And Fellas, I don't know if you're aware of this,
- 25:47Speaker 2: but I used to go to the gym.
- 25:49Speaker 4: I'm not aware. I wasn't aware of it.
- 25:51Speaker 2: I used to go to the gym hard out when
- 25:53Speaker 2: I lived out West and I've been trying to cancel
- 25:56Speaker 2: my subscription to the gym. It's is genuine. Four times
- 26:01Speaker 2: I've tried. I've gone in there twice and said, can
- 26:05Speaker 2: you because I can't do it, just shut it down.
- 26:06Speaker 2: I have to go into the gym and it's still
- 26:10Speaker 2: they still haven't canceled it. They'll go, yeah, yeah, that'll
- 26:13Speaker 2: be canceled this week, and then I get another payment
- 26:16Speaker 2: the next week and I was like ah, and then
- 26:18Speaker 2: I leave it for a month and just did it.
- 26:20Speaker 2: You know what?
- 26:20Speaker 4: I mean, and so you're paying for a member you've
- 26:22Speaker 4: been in the city for since the month?
- 26:24Speaker 2: Yeah, seven months. But anyway, it was interesting, so stress
- 26:27Speaker 2: because I rang them up today and I was, you know,
- 26:30Speaker 2: Efan and Jeff in a little bit because I was
- 26:32Speaker 2: over it. But the guy that I was talking to,
- 26:35Speaker 2: he said he was a big fan of the Big Show,
- 26:37Speaker 2: and he said to me, who would you say? And
- 26:40Speaker 2: I don't know how we actually got onto the subject
- 26:42Speaker 2: who would be the fattest of all the members of
- 26:45Speaker 2: the Big Show? And I went, oh, that's an interesting question.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Just quickly before we get into this. If that guy
- 26:50Speaker 5: is listening right now, please cancel.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Can you do it?
- 26:53Speaker 4: Get onto it? Yeah, I do know how to use
- 26:57Speaker 4: my phone on the website.
- 26:59Speaker 2: But then I said, think about it, who would be
- 27:00Speaker 2: the fittest amongst and you know, the four of us?
- 27:03Speaker 2: And I know that the prevailing thought would be, for example,
- 27:07Speaker 2: that old hoily J because of my age and the
- 27:10Speaker 2: fact that I've smoked a million cigarettes, you know, I
- 27:13Speaker 2: haven't had the healthiest lifestyle in my life, would probably
- 27:17Speaker 2: be the most unfit of the four of us.
- 27:21Speaker 5: I say, it's correct, So so I guess it's finding
- 27:23Speaker 5: we've got one end of the spectrums. Now it's finding
- 27:24Speaker 5: the other end of the spec So the top three.
- 27:26Speaker 2: We just want to stop you there because I just
- 27:30Speaker 2: wanted to point something out to you. Today. I have
- 27:32Speaker 2: a little sort of fitness app on my phone there,
- 27:35Speaker 2: and every day I'm walking, walking, walking. For example, today
- 27:39Speaker 2: I've done sixteen thousand steps, and that's about average for me.
- 27:45Speaker 2: But the six step casy, please, sixteen thousand steps, now,
- 27:52Speaker 2: that's about eleven point two to twelve point two kilometers
- 27:58Speaker 2: depending on the girth of your steps.
- 28:00Speaker 4: That's the thing.
- 28:00Speaker 5: That's about six thousand normal person steps. The gate, No,
- 28:06Speaker 5: your girth of your stairs is that the okay, yeah, yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 5: that's about six thousand normal person steps.
- 28:10Speaker 2: So that's extraordinary in and of itself. That's that's twelve kilometers.
- 28:15Speaker 2: And I haven't I haven't finished walking today, by the way,
- 28:17Speaker 2: I've still got another couple of thousands ago.
- 28:19Speaker 5: He's still he's planning on doing more walking later.
- 28:21Speaker 4: Oh he hasn't finished yet, my god.
- 28:24Speaker 2: And now I know you go to the gym, puksand
- 28:26Speaker 2: as does Mogi, and so you'd think, oh, well they'd
- 28:29Speaker 2: be fitter than haughty j But the gym fit you
- 28:32Speaker 2: know what I mean, and in inversive comments gem fit,
- 28:35Speaker 2: they're pretty boys and the fitness world.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Can I just say, Jase, there's a really easy way
- 28:40Speaker 5: to figure this out. Someone has to run ten k's
- 28:43Speaker 5: from the show, who's.
- 28:43Speaker 4: It going to be? Is it going to you?
- 28:45Speaker 2: Because you'll pull a hammy?
- 28:46Speaker 5: No, No, listen, Jayce, if one of us has to
- 28:49Speaker 5: run ten kilometers, job ten kilometers, go for a run?
- 28:52Speaker 4: Are you the one to do it?
- 28:53Speaker 5: Well, this is a question I'm asking No, I'm asking
- 28:56Speaker 5: you right now. Are you seriously the one to run
- 28:58Speaker 5: ten kilometers?
- 28:59Speaker 2: I think so? Given my so Putson pug Son is
- 29:07Speaker 2: jem fit, Mokey's jem fit. But he's fallen right off.
- 29:10Speaker 2: He I mean, he's he's shocking. I look at you, Keasy.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You love your dumplings, your beersies, your spicy noodles. There's
- 29:19Speaker 2: no way you're in the picture.
- 29:21Speaker 5: Actually tonight, what are you having for dinner tonight?
- 29:24Speaker 2: That's not your business?
- 29:26Speaker 5: Alright, So it's not enough with the pointing finger, with
- 29:28Speaker 5: the spicy dumplings and noodles.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Please.
- 29:31Speaker 2: She just said, I've noticed a bit of overhang with
- 29:32Speaker 2: you lately.
- 29:34Speaker 5: Okay, So we're just lying seriously, Okay, you've made your case.
- 29:38Speaker 5: You walked sixteen thousand ways staggering sixteen thousand steps today,
- 29:43Speaker 5: Pugs Hello, I would say you probably run the most
- 29:45Speaker 5: out of everyone on the show.
- 29:46Speaker 3: That's very kind of you to say, Chris, I'll try
- 29:49Speaker 3: to get in one or two a week, two weeks
- 29:51Speaker 3: so a week or class or something.
- 29:53Speaker 5: What's the furthest you've run? What's the furst you've run?
- 29:59Speaker 4: Jay Jase?
- 30:00Speaker 3: What's the only fitness competition you're winning is if we've
- 30:02Speaker 3: got our hands behind our back and were walking into
- 30:04Speaker 3: snail pace, I run about sex point two six points
- 30:07Speaker 3: to most of them.
- 30:08Speaker 4: I'm trying to get to eight by the end of
- 30:09Speaker 4: the year.
- 30:09Speaker 5: Okay, So by that I would say that Pugs is
- 30:12Speaker 5: the fattest out of the Big Show because he's the
- 30:15Speaker 5: most likely to be able to run ten kilometers. I
- 30:17Speaker 5: would then say I'm second because you and Mogi have
- 30:21Speaker 5: never run ever in your lives. In fact, you tried
- 30:23Speaker 5: to run a couple of years ago, didn't You ran
- 30:25Speaker 5: down the pavement a wee bit and you said the
- 30:26Speaker 5: next day your knees were sore.
- 30:28Speaker 2: Do you remember that?
- 30:29Speaker 4: It's on the podcast?
- 30:30Speaker 2: No, I don't recall that at all, Christopher Chris.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Okay, Jason, okay, look three four eight three, Please if
- 30:37Speaker 5: you're interested, if you even give a shit, who do
- 30:39Speaker 5: you think is the fittest member of the Big Show?
- 30:41Speaker 5: And I think it is like in order to if
- 30:42Speaker 5: we had to go for a ten k run or
- 30:43Speaker 5: do a half marathon, who do you think would be
- 30:46Speaker 5: most likely to be able to complete it?
- 30:48Speaker 2: Is that what you thinking? Jason sure man? Okay, And
- 30:50Speaker 2: I bet you'll be surprised what the people think.
- 30:53Speaker 5: I don't think I will be three four eight three
- 30:54Speaker 5: fifty dollars Rebiger bouches up for grabs.
- 30:56Speaker 1: It's no patrol the whole Key Big Show week days
- 31:00Speaker 1: from four on Radio hodg Yes.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Indeed green day there on the Hodarchy Big Show this
- 31:05Speaker 2: Wednesday evening. The time is five to twenty six, and
- 31:09Speaker 2: we were asking the question who is the fittest of
- 31:12Speaker 2: the Big Show crew? Yeah?
- 31:14Speaker 5: Well, Jason, you asked the question because you were changing
- 31:16Speaker 5: to someone at a gym. Yes, and they asked the question,
- 31:18Speaker 5: and then you genuinely thought it's probably you.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, as I say, I've already done sixteen thousand
- 31:24Speaker 2: steps today, which is about between eleven point two and
- 31:28Speaker 2: twelve point two kilometers depending on the girth of your step.
- 31:33Speaker 5: Pretty sure it's not the correct terminology, but we've asked
- 31:36Speaker 5: the audience on three four eight three.
- 31:38Speaker 4: No, Mogi did it. By the way, he's sick aka unfit.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Yeah, well yeah, massively unfit.
- 31:42Speaker 4: You couldn't even do a radio show.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he would be wheezing after about five
- 31:47Speaker 2: hundred meters, I reckon, yeah. Nice.
- 31:51Speaker 5: A lot of people texting it on three four eight three.
- 31:52Speaker 5: None of it's flattering to anyone. Everyone's in the firing
- 31:55Speaker 5: one here, which is what I like.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Now.
- 31:57Speaker 5: My initial instinct is Pugs is the one that runs
- 31:59Speaker 5: the most often. He's you know, runs about five to
- 32:02Speaker 5: six kilometers weekly. I think Pugs is the most fit,
- 32:05Speaker 5: because we're talking about running fitness here. A lot of
- 32:08Speaker 5: people texting in here, Graham reckens. First place would be
- 32:12Speaker 5: Hoidy jizz Bot, the hot pot King, Yeah, thank you,
- 32:15Speaker 5: Second place Mike the Stallion Minogue, third pugsun the Barn
- 32:19Speaker 5: me Banger, and fourth bird Ship Chris finishing in a wheelchair.
- 32:23Speaker 5: Now I disagree with that. I actually think it would
- 32:26Speaker 5: be more like the opposite to that Ah that knows
- 32:29Speaker 5: of Mogi's runs a few miles. And that's the thing, like,
- 32:32Speaker 5: if we got to the finish line, yes, you and
- 32:34Speaker 5: Mogani would have a big advantage because it were your nose,
- 32:38Speaker 5: because it would cross the finish line a lot earlier.
- 32:41Speaker 3: And just on that, someone also sees that the big
- 32:43Speaker 3: honkers would help with the airflow, like an air intake.
- 32:49Speaker 5: Jason genuinely more likely to run ten kilometers than Kezy.
- 32:52Speaker 4: Keezy is too soft. I'm not soft.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Look, I didn't want to go there.
- 32:56Speaker 3: You did.
- 33:00Speaker 2: I didn't want to go there.
- 33:02Speaker 5: It's like you standing outside a hot pot shop going
- 33:05Speaker 5: I didn't want to go to come here.
- 33:08Speaker 2: What you know, I used to have mates, and this
- 33:11Speaker 2: is a true story. I used to have mates and
- 33:18Speaker 2: this is honest, honest to guy. And they were triathletes
- 33:21Speaker 2: and they were massively into it. There were three mates ahead.
- 33:25Speaker 2: They were all into triathlons and what I found with
- 33:28Speaker 2: them and they trained their asses off, but they never
- 33:30Speaker 2: ended up doing any races because they were always pulling something,
- 33:35Speaker 2: you know what I mean. It was always yeah, I no,
- 33:37Speaker 2: I can't do this race, because you know, they were
- 33:40Speaker 2: they were physical specimens, but they were keysy soft you see,
- 33:44Speaker 2: I could wrap my hand straight apart, hamstring apart, and
- 33:48Speaker 2: I'd still do it. Don't you worry about that?
- 33:52Speaker 5: The funniest you know what this is leading towards a
- 33:56Speaker 5: big show cross country. We're gonna do a cross country
- 33:59Speaker 5: run and it's going to be around his school. We're
- 34:02Speaker 5: gonna go to the local school and say, what's the
- 34:03Speaker 5: cross country distance?
- 34:04Speaker 3: Here?
- 34:05Speaker 4: What is the track? Give it to us, and the
- 34:07Speaker 4: big show is going to run the cross country.
- 34:08Speaker 5: We're gonna see heh's the fittest because I think over
- 34:11Speaker 5: a cross country circuit, no training, Mergie'll instantly, but I'm.
- 34:13Speaker 4: Gonna start training. Oh yeah, he would would have to
- 34:16Speaker 4: be like instantly, like tomorrow, Yes, you know what I mean.
- 34:19Speaker 4: We run across country, so who's the fittest?
- 34:21Speaker 2: Right now? Pug Son would be doing his bloody pilarates
- 34:24Speaker 2: like a.
- 34:24Speaker 5: Crazy man warming up for the cross country.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:28Speaker 3: Absolutely, Actually just on this So this Friday, we've got
- 34:31Speaker 3: a bit of a radio Hodaki video shoot coming up
- 34:34Speaker 3: that actually involves Jason Hoyt running at full tilt.
- 34:38Speaker 4: So I'm gonna be hiding there with my phone. Jason,
- 34:40Speaker 4: all right, do it, mate, keep an eye for the video,
- 34:43Speaker 4: would you do a cross country jas toat really yeah, man,
- 34:48Speaker 4: bring it on, You've got fear in your eyes. I
- 34:50Speaker 4: can tell Pugs.
- 34:52Speaker 2: Would you do it?
- 34:54Speaker 4: Yes? I would do it?
- 34:55Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, I think this ticks. Here sums it up
- 34:58Speaker 5: all right? Is the tank engine chuffing and puffing away
- 35:02Speaker 5: on the old robot douche flute will be last for sure?
- 35:07Speaker 2: Getaway. It's Pugs the.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Hood Arching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy. Tune
- 35:11Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Smashing pumpkins. There on the Hodarchy Big Show this Wednesday evening.
- 35:18Speaker 2: The time is five thirty eight, which means it's time for.
- 35:25Speaker 5: What's on the news with me Jezzy in the news
- 35:32Speaker 5: this week Fellers comes from down South down Dunedin there,
- 35:35Speaker 5: which is in the South Island. Pugs, thanks, Now, what's
- 35:40Speaker 5: happened is the police have made a couple of interesting
- 35:43Speaker 5: pullovers and then subsequent not arrests, but you know, taking
- 35:47Speaker 5: the keys away from a couple of drivers. One dude
- 35:50Speaker 5: was huff and gas while he was driving. That's not okay,
- 35:52Speaker 5: that's bad. The second bloke was, and this is a
- 35:56Speaker 5: direct quote from an article, he was swerving on the road,
- 36:02Speaker 5: slowing down and speeding up. A radically police officer noticed
- 36:06Speaker 5: this in his highway patrol car there pulled him over.
- 36:09Speaker 5: Turns out he was eating a roast meal on his
- 36:12Speaker 5: lap off a plate with a knife and fork, and
- 36:16Speaker 5: the window was up, and as the officer was outside
- 36:18Speaker 5: the window waiting for him to one o the window,
- 36:20Speaker 5: he prioritized finishing the meal before talking to the officer.
- 36:25Speaker 2: That is such a keasy thing to do. What do
- 36:30Speaker 2: you mean what I mean? I mean I've been guilty
- 36:34Speaker 2: of that.
- 36:35Speaker 4: You know, eating a roast meal while driving? Well, no,
- 36:38Speaker 4: but you know, for example, a hot pie, Well you
- 36:41Speaker 4: need a pie that I don't condone it. It's not saying,
- 36:45Speaker 4: not the way I do it. How do you eat
- 36:47Speaker 4: a pie? How do you pine? New Zealand?
- 36:50Speaker 2: None of your business.
- 36:51Speaker 5: But I mean, but okay, So because I have in
- 36:56Speaker 5: the part and actually yesterday might drive home our west.
- 36:58Speaker 5: I was in traffic out west and I looked over
- 37:01Speaker 5: next to me a lady was eating out of a
- 37:02Speaker 5: tupperware container with a fork while stuck in traffic, and
- 37:05Speaker 5: I was like, we're going slow, she's on her way home.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Oh gee, I think you enter a new dimension of
- 37:11Speaker 3: danger when you have a plate, because that's flat and
- 37:13Speaker 3: things roll and move around a plate.
- 37:16Speaker 5: The funny thing about it is like peas, for example, pease,
- 37:19Speaker 5: but a gravy. You know you've got to cut the
- 37:21Speaker 5: roast up, and you know you're dealing with gravy and
- 37:23Speaker 5: roast buds and all sorts of things there. I just thought,
- 37:25Speaker 5: out of all the meals, to eat what you're driving,
- 37:27Speaker 5: a roast meal yet, and then to eat that before
- 37:31Speaker 5: addressing the officer.
- 37:32Speaker 3: Do you think that was because this person was concerned
- 37:35Speaker 3: that the officer would confiscate the food and maybe tell
- 37:37Speaker 3: him to tip it out.
- 37:39Speaker 5: I also have a hunch that the guy might have
- 37:41Speaker 5: also been under the influence and so was hoping that
- 37:45Speaker 5: before getting.
- 37:46Speaker 4: Breath tested he could just down full roast meal. Maybe
- 37:50Speaker 4: that would help, you know what I mean?
- 37:52Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 37:53Speaker 5: You have you genuinely, Jase, Have you ever tried to
- 37:56Speaker 5: eat something whilst driving that isn't just a pyr or
- 37:58Speaker 5: saucy roll or something.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Um? Yes, well yes, I've eaten out of containers definitely,
- 38:06Speaker 2: like a tuppleware.
- 38:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Well, yeah, luck, you'll have a I'll have a container
- 38:11Speaker 2: of dumplings, for example, and I'll fork.
- 38:13Speaker 5: Those and you can eat one at a time, those
- 38:15Speaker 5: whole you know, golp them. So that's fine, right.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean you're not sort of slicing them up.
- 38:21Speaker 2: I'll fit a full, big dumpling in my mouth so
- 38:24Speaker 2: I don't have to slice it up or anything. But
- 38:27Speaker 2: that's about us extravagant.
- 38:28Speaker 3: As I've got slightly insensitive. You don't use chopsticks. Well,
- 38:32Speaker 3: you're eating dumplings and driving.
- 38:33Speaker 5: It's insensitive, Jason, You got something so insensitive while you're
- 38:37Speaker 5: driving eating dumplings?
- 38:37Speaker 2: What about you?
- 38:38Speaker 4: Pug? Speaking of eating dumplings when you drive, Hey, I
- 38:40Speaker 4: don't eat dumplings while I drive. You that Pugs that
- 38:44Speaker 4: he'd been doing some tofu or something like that. Yeah,
- 38:48Speaker 4: I just have a raw block of TOFA and I
- 38:49Speaker 4: just sort of take the little chunks out of it.
- 38:51Speaker 4: You actually have what what have you done whilst driving?
- 38:53Speaker 2: Though?
- 38:53Speaker 5: Have you ever had something big that you're like, I
- 38:54Speaker 5: probably shouldn't bet this while driving?
- 38:56Speaker 2: Ah?
- 38:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I have had to run somewhere and
- 39:00Speaker 3: it was on and this is years ago, and I
- 39:02Speaker 3: don't condone it, but it was it was on a plate.
- 39:04Speaker 3: I can't remember what it was, but I have hit
- 39:05Speaker 3: a plate. Oh, maybe it was toast or something like that,
- 39:07Speaker 3: but that's easy enough toast. Yeah, but it was Yeah,
- 39:09Speaker 3: but then you got crumbs going from me.
- 39:11Speaker 2: I've burnt my balls with coffee whilst driving with a
- 39:15Speaker 2: regular coffee mug.
- 39:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I've tried that when my travel mug's dirty.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Or did you try it? Did you? Do you get
- 39:20Speaker 2: a regular coffee mug and just pour it over your balls? Yeah?
- 39:23Speaker 5: And I was like, Hoody Jay does this and he
- 39:25Speaker 5: loves it, he raves about it. But it's funny when
- 39:28Speaker 5: you've got the travel mug and then you think, oh,
- 39:31Speaker 5: surely your mug, a regular mug's the same, and literally,
- 39:33Speaker 5: as soon as you go one centimeter, you spill coffee
- 39:35Speaker 5: on yourself.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Uh.
- 39:38Speaker 4: Do you like the Black Crows.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Back in the day?
- 39:41Speaker 3: I did?
- 39:41Speaker 2: Kezy in the heyday. Probably not so much. Now I've
- 39:44Speaker 2: got a slightly more sophisticated musical taste, but they're all g.
- 39:51Speaker 1: The whole aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 39:54Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio hod I can.
- 39:56Speaker 2: Welcome back your messive backbones. Hope your Wednesday's going along,
- 39:59Speaker 2: tickety who you are listening to the Big Show brought
- 40:02Speaker 2: to you by Reburgar.
- 40:03Speaker 3: Beef checking, vegan and vegetarian options, Rebigger, redefining the norm, scrumptious.
- 40:11Speaker 5: John Reeburger Fellas, of course, I'm having a Bachelor of
- 40:13Speaker 5: the night tonight. My wife is out for dinner with
- 40:15Speaker 5: her mate, and I've decided I will be getting Reburger.
- 40:18Speaker 6: You do it.
- 40:18Speaker 5: The dilemma I have, and Pugs and I were discussing
- 40:21Speaker 5: this earlier is I'm about west, so I can either
- 40:24Speaker 5: go via like your gray Lynn right, this is an
- 40:27Speaker 5: Auckland that's on the way out west. Pick it up there,
- 40:29Speaker 5: but then hop into the traffic on the Western Motorway,
- 40:33Speaker 5: or go out to my house and then go beyond
- 40:35Speaker 5: it to the Henderson branch of Reburger and then come back,
- 40:39Speaker 5: which is a longer journey overall, but it'll be fresher Reburger.
- 40:43Speaker 2: I think.
- 40:44Speaker 3: I think it's fresher, Like you're making the effort here
- 40:46Speaker 3: to get a real trick for yourself.
- 40:48Speaker 4: This is Reburger. You can't risk it colding off. Yeah,
- 40:51Speaker 4: you don't want coldburger.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Look even cold Reburger. I love it. But the fresher
- 40:57Speaker 2: the Reburger, the better.
- 40:59Speaker 5: So you think I pro tires the freshness of the
- 41:01Speaker 5: reburger over the time it takes to get me home. Yes, okay, Fellas,
- 41:05Speaker 5: I'm gonna lock it unequivocably. Okay, I feel confident, thank you.
- 41:09Speaker 5: What are you having for dinner tonight? Pay Are you
- 41:10Speaker 5: going over to the in law's place?
- 41:12Speaker 4: Yeah, but I don't think we're having dinner.
- 41:14Speaker 3: I think we're just going for because it's kind of
- 41:16Speaker 3: probably past their tea time after this show, like what.
- 41:19Speaker 2: We finished it seriously, Pugs, and I'm being serious, they
- 41:22Speaker 2: don't eat till really late, so it could very well
- 41:26Speaker 2: be dinner, but there'll always be a platter of some
- 41:29Speaker 2: description arm so there will be snacks at least, but
- 41:34Speaker 2: it may be a full blind meal.
- 41:37Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:37Speaker 5: So just for the just for the audience, Pugs is
- 41:39Speaker 5: going to Hoardy Jay's in law's place because Pugs are
- 41:42Speaker 5: going to house it for them, going to house it
- 41:43Speaker 5: for them for a month.
- 41:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, because I did so well at the Jizz Palace,
- 41:47Speaker 2: and it's really funny that he's going over there there tonight,
- 41:50Speaker 2: Kezy because he's spilt Japanese curry all over his clothes
- 41:54Speaker 2: in his gym bag and so he's got no wonders
- 41:56Speaker 2: on at the moment he's having to zip up his
- 41:58Speaker 2: jacket because it's covered and fill all.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Of my clean clothes. I was at the gym and
- 42:01Speaker 4: my curry leaped to my bag.
- 42:03Speaker 3: All of my clean clothes, including my underwear, my outer top,
- 42:06Speaker 3: my inner top all had curry, and my pants too,
- 42:09Speaker 3: curry all over them. And the only thing I've been
- 42:11Speaker 3: able to salvage is my pants, but obviously don't have mondays.
- 42:14Speaker 4: And I also forgot to bring a belt, so my
- 42:15Speaker 4: bum could fall out at any time.
- 42:17Speaker 5: You know what's pit true is Pugs arrives at your
- 42:21Speaker 5: in law's Jays are very classy people at the door there,
- 42:24Speaker 5: and the father in law says, hey, let me take
- 42:27Speaker 5: that jacket. Yeah, Pugs doesn't want to upset them. On
- 42:30Speaker 5: Zips's jacket, revealing that he is fully unclothed, gives it
- 42:34Speaker 5: to the father in law who hangs it up on
- 42:35Speaker 5: the hook, and then Pugs' pants fall down. He doesn't
- 42:40Speaker 5: have a belt, totally new and then the guy just
- 42:42Speaker 5: goes Actually, don't worry about house sitting for.
- 42:47Speaker 1: The Hurarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio
- 42:51Speaker 1: Hodarky is indeed royal blood.
- 42:53Speaker 2: There on the radio Hodnkey Big show this Wednesday evening,
- 42:56Speaker 2: and Fellers, it's been something that I've been thinking about
- 43:00Speaker 2: over the last couple of days, and actually doing the
- 43:02Speaker 2: show with you two backbones today, it's come back into
- 43:05Speaker 2: my mind. And as I look across the desk, there
- 43:08Speaker 2: I see oh, keezy sort of motley little mo that's
- 43:12Speaker 2: sort of beiy hanging in there like a little hairy
- 43:15Speaker 2: caterpillar across his face. And then I and then I
- 43:18Speaker 2: swiveled to my right and I see old Pugson with
- 43:22Speaker 2: a sort of droopy, sad ass little mo there. And
- 43:26Speaker 2: I'm thinking to myself because I've I mean, I consider
- 43:30Speaker 2: myself a pretty styly guy you and I think, you know,
- 43:34Speaker 2: people sort of see me as a bit of a
- 43:36Speaker 2: fashion icon, you know, with my sort of boots, with
- 43:39Speaker 2: my boots and that sort of. But one thing I've
- 43:42Speaker 2: never really done hats is a mustache.
- 43:46Speaker 5: No, that's a lie Jose, because we grew mustaches. And
- 43:52Speaker 5: I'll remind you that yours was easily the worst of
- 43:54Speaker 5: the group.
- 43:55Speaker 2: Well that's because I didn't That's because I didn't really
- 43:58Speaker 2: commit to it. And I think I'm looking at you
- 44:01Speaker 2: guys and going, well, surely I can do better than these.
- 44:05Speaker 5: Grow a mustache, because I saw what you grew and
- 44:07Speaker 5: it wasn't very good. And all you do is say
- 44:09Speaker 5: that I've got a motley gross mow.
- 44:11Speaker 4: It's quite beautiful. By the way.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I'm not say do you wax it or something? I
- 44:15Speaker 2: wax my mod.
- 44:17Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure you can get mustache wax.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Because I reckon you should get those little sort of
- 44:20Speaker 2: evil toils that would really suit you. But I think
- 44:24Speaker 2: I might do that because I remember Mogi, of course.
- 44:26Speaker 4: Had a vering Ogi.
- 44:28Speaker 2: He had a very big, big, thick, gingery sort of abomination.
- 44:34Speaker 2: It was bushy, and mine was Mine was more sort
- 44:38Speaker 2: of Eeril Flynn old style movie star kind of.
- 44:42Speaker 4: Look, jas, I've got a question.
- 44:43Speaker 3: So you've had to go at Kezy because his is motley,
- 44:46Speaker 3: You've had got mine because mine's droopy, and you've had
- 44:48Speaker 3: to go out Mogi, who's not even here to defend
- 44:50Speaker 3: himself because his was too bushy.
- 44:52Speaker 4: So what constitutes the perfect mustache for you?
- 44:55Speaker 2: Can I just say it wasn't that it was too bushy,
- 44:58Speaker 2: it was that it had gin.
- 45:00Speaker 5: That's fine, though, because it added to the character of
- 45:03Speaker 5: the moment. At the end of the day, Jays. I
- 45:04Speaker 5: will reiterate your mustache was terrible. It looked like you'd
- 45:06Speaker 5: had a sip out of a like really cinnamony cappuccino
- 45:10Speaker 5: and you hadn't wiped your upper lip.
- 45:11Speaker 4: And that was after a month of trying. And so
- 45:13Speaker 4: I one hundred percent encourage you grow a mustache.
- 45:16Speaker 2: Okay, I'm going to do it.
- 45:17Speaker 5: And I know right now you've got this thing where
- 45:18Speaker 5: you're trying to like, you know, stay happen cool. Right
- 45:21Speaker 5: because you're almost forty now you're thirty nine.
- 45:24Speaker 2: Have I got a thing where I'm trying to stay
- 45:25Speaker 2: happen cool.
- 45:28Speaker 5: You've got going and you want to grow the mustache
- 45:30Speaker 5: because the mustache is very much end at the moment,
- 45:32Speaker 5: I think you should do it.
- 45:33Speaker 2: Yeah, when I see it amongst the young folk, you
- 45:35Speaker 2: know the mom, and I go, okay, that's obviously a
- 45:37Speaker 2: look with your sort of op shoppy kind of stuff.
- 45:40Speaker 5: You know what Actually in Pugs, Pugs is good for
- 45:42Speaker 5: this because he's sort of ahead of the curb. Whenever
- 45:45Speaker 5: you want to know the curve, what do I say, curb?
- 45:48Speaker 5: He's ahead of both. But when I want to know
- 45:50Speaker 5: what's going to be happening in fashion, in like five

- 50:21Speaker 3: AGO i started working with this bloke Called. Anonymous we
- 50:25Speaker 3: met in Christ church and did five years on the tools.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Together since, then we've both. Moved we've both moved TO,
- 50:29Speaker 3: oz racking up another seven years over. Here we've spent
- 50:32Speaker 3: more time with each other than most married couples carpled to,
- 50:34Speaker 3: work same, jobs SAME, smokeo same work.
- 50:36Speaker 4: Sites RECENTLY i changed.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Jobs NOW i barely hear from the, bloke which is
- 50:41Speaker 3: quite typical outside of. Work the problem is he's a
- 50:44Speaker 3: bit Like Hardy. Jizbot unless you're standing next to, him
- 50:47Speaker 3: you basically don't. Exist trying to organize a beer is
- 50:50Speaker 3: like trying to Get Hordy janis to donate today and
- 50:53Speaker 3: Lou so my question is, this how DO i save
- 50:55Speaker 3: a bromance that's always been built around working.
- 50:58Speaker 4: TOGETHER i feel that.
- 51:00Speaker 2: It's a love, story Isn't it's it's an unrequited love
- 51:05Speaker 2: story that formed a, relationship and interesting that they both
- 51:10Speaker 2: moved over seas and keep working, together which suggests to
- 51:14Speaker 2: me that they're in love with each other and that
- 51:19Speaker 2: the other guy now is moving away from.
- 51:23Speaker 4: It, see they could be that it's a good. Point
- 51:26Speaker 4: no such thing is a bad, Idea. JASON i also.
- 51:30Speaker 5: Write there are, people And i've had these people in
- 51:32Speaker 5: my life that unless you're with them chatting to, them
- 51:35Speaker 5: they're just hopeless at. Communicating but also the desire to
- 51:38Speaker 5: actually want to meet up obviously isn't there. Either so
- 51:42Speaker 5: if you've got a mate who like literally never organizes
- 51:46Speaker 5: any kind of hangout and is super hard to get
- 51:49Speaker 5: in contact. With, unfortunately it's a symptom of being a bad. Friend,
- 51:53Speaker 5: yes AND i don't think it's worth.
- 51:54Speaker 4: It you can't force that kind of.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Connection i've had people That i've worked with here that you,
- 52:00Speaker 3: Know i've tried to take our friendship at work to
- 52:03Speaker 3: the next, level maybe get a beer outside of work
- 52:05Speaker 3: or something like.
- 52:06Speaker 4: That, yeah we know all about, that. Pugs, yeah and
- 52:09Speaker 4: LIKE i, SAID i just want to keep it. Professional,
- 52:10Speaker 4: yeah it's the, same just.
- 52:12Speaker 2: Easy they're big feeling but.
- 52:13Speaker 4: Carry on dog not talking about my partner here THAT
- 52:15Speaker 4: i met at. Work, Guys, okay it's.
- 52:17Speaker 3: Different but you, Know i've tried to organize catching up
- 52:21Speaker 3: with them for a beer outside of, work and like you,
- 52:22Speaker 3: know they say they're.
- 52:23Speaker 4: Keen they say they're, keen.
- 52:24Speaker 3: And then it just Never, eventually some people just want
- 52:27Speaker 3: to keep their friendships at work at.
- 52:30Speaker 5: Work, also other, people when you think about hanging, out they, go,
- 52:33Speaker 5: OH i don't, know like if they don't have the
- 52:36Speaker 5: energy to, respond it's a year and.
- 52:37Speaker 4: Go then they don't really want to.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Do but In, finnis you know what it's like when
- 52:41Speaker 2: you work, together and you, know you have a relationship at,
- 52:44Speaker 2: work and then you go out on a social occasion
- 52:47Speaker 2: and it's really awkward and.
- 52:49Speaker 4: WEIRD i don't know what that's.
- 52:51Speaker 2: Like AND i don't, know you don't. Know it's like
- 52:56Speaker 2: when we have a big Show curry or something like,
- 52:58Speaker 2: that and we all get our patterns there and there's
- 53:01Speaker 2: this that awkward silence for minutes on, end even just going,
- 53:05Speaker 2: oh it's it's all a bit different from it's very.
