- 0:59Speaker 3: a benefit Belmont's planned music row expansion and mtsu's involvement
- 1:04Speaker 3: with the Grammy Awards in Bonnerou As to reasons why
- 1:06Speaker 3: they made the list.
- 1:07Speaker 4: We love to see it.
- 1:08Speaker 3: We know so many students here in Nashville who are
- 1:11Speaker 3: all studying music business, studying ways to get into the
- 1:14Speaker 3: music business and are here to be creators, and we
- 1:17Speaker 3: love to see It's part of what makes Nashville Nashville.
- 1:20Speaker 4: And bed Bath and.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Beyond has found a new home and it's actually inside.
- 1:24Speaker 4: A competitor store. So after they went bankrupt.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Bed Bath and Beyond has decided to go back to
- 1:29Speaker 3: brick and mortar retail through a partnership with the Container
- 1:32Speaker 3: Store used to be one of their rivals. So Bed
- 1:36Speaker 3: Bath and Beyond products are going to be sold at
- 1:37Speaker 3: the container Stores locations as part of a way to
- 1:40Speaker 3: improve customer experience boost sales. They're hoping that this partnership
- 1:45Speaker 3: will revitalize both of the brands because neither are doing
- 1:48Speaker 3: so hot right now. So if you love your candles,
- 1:51Speaker 3: you could go find them inside a contailer store. I'm
- 1:54Speaker 3: Marie Sanchez, and those are the three things you need
- 1:56Speaker 3: to do one.
- 1:57Speaker 5: O seven the River, Rickya and Manow in the morning.
- 2:01Speaker 2: On the nineteenth, we are having a party. It's our
- 2:03Speaker 2: family Free Thanksgiving, and we would love it if you
- 2:06Speaker 2: would join us.
- 2:07Speaker 3: The whole idea here is that we're the family that
- 2:09Speaker 3: you choose, So we're gonna make sure that you have
- 2:11Speaker 3: a nice Thanksgiving dinner because food's on us before.
- 2:14Speaker 4: You have to go be surrounded by your f.
- 2:17Speaker 2: The fun party we get this all week. Seats at
- 2:20Speaker 2: the table for the first caller of the day, and
- 2:22Speaker 2: that's you right now. If you're calling number one six, one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,

- 2:32Speaker 1: We're talking to you next down the river.
- 2:34Speaker 5: One Ricky, Zach and manow in the morning.
- 2:38Speaker 4: Good morning, Garrett and Dixon. Welcome to one O seven
- 2:41Speaker 4: five the River. What are you doing this early in
- 2:43Speaker 4: the morning?
- 2:44Speaker 5: I headed to work. I'm a welder.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Oh cool, what do you weld?
- 2:49Speaker 5: Right now?
- 2:49Speaker 6: We're doing a structural thing for my company and McEwan.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Welding was always so cool to me and whenever I
- 2:54Speaker 3: watched people do it, I don't trust myself to do
- 2:58Speaker 3: it because I think I would probably end myself.
- 3:00Speaker 4: But I always thought it was so cool.
- 3:01Speaker 6: Yeah, it's a neat trade. Have you ever burned yourself
- 3:05Speaker 6: all the time?
- 3:07Speaker 2: I'm sure that just comes with the job. There's sparks
- 3:09Speaker 2: flying constantly.
- 3:10Speaker 3: Yeah, but I would think that you were, like, not
- 3:11Speaker 3: gonna burn yourself all the time.
- 3:13Speaker 6: You has matt suits is what I'm picturing.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Thank you so much for waking up this morning and
- 3:18Speaker 3: choosing us Ricky Zacamano in the morning. We appreciate you
- 3:21Speaker 3: so much, and we appreciate you so much, and we
- 3:24Speaker 3: want to buy you dinner. You're gonna come hang out
- 3:26Speaker 3: with us family free Thanksgiving Stateside kitchen at Dream Hotel
- 3:29Speaker 3: on November nineteenth.
- 3:31Speaker 2: That sounds great, gad, Yeah, congrats man, We'll see you there.
- 3:35Speaker 2: I don't know how to ask this question, but welders
- 3:37Speaker 2: make pretty good money, right, I'm not asking like what
- 3:40Speaker 2: you're pulling down before taxes or anything like that, but
- 3:42Speaker 2: it's a lucrative career. Yeah, I would.
- 3:45Speaker 5: I would want all the younger generations to actually get
- 3:48Speaker 5: into the trade.
- 3:49Speaker 4: That's really nice. Hopefully somebody here is that and knows
- 3:52Speaker 4: that they have options.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, bring your tax returns to our Thanksgiving dinner.
- 3:55Speaker 6: I want to Kevin, I talk to you, no doubt.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Hang on a second, okay, Garrett Yea.
- 4:00Speaker 3: You always have these intrusive thoughts and they always win.
- 4:03Speaker 4: Kevin, you always ask the most insane things.
- 4:05Speaker 2: How much do you think he makes a year?
- 4:06Speaker 4: I'm not guessing that. I think that's not okay.
- 4:10Speaker 5: Ricky Zach and mennow in the Morning one.
- 4:14Speaker 4: If you need some plans this weekend, don't worry. We gotcha.
- 4:18Speaker 4: It's Ricky, Zach and manow in the Morning on one
- 4:20Speaker 4: of seven five the River. Zach makes this a fun
- 4:22Speaker 4: little list every week around.
- 4:23Speaker 3: This time, and uh, it just is a list of
- 4:26Speaker 3: things to do in Nashville.
- 4:27Speaker 4: It's so busy here. There's always something going on. So
- 4:29Speaker 4: go ahead, Zach.
- 4:30Speaker 7: And it's supposed to rain this weekend, so there's a
- 4:32Speaker 7: lot that is like inside. So the Nashville Vintage Market
- 4:35Speaker 7: is at the Fairgrounds tomorrow.
- 4:37Speaker 6: That's awesome, so you can go thrifting.
- 4:38Speaker 7: There's gonna be a whole bunch of different vendors for jewelry,
- 4:41Speaker 7: clothes and all of that. It's gonna be like the
- 4:43Speaker 7: whole vintage market that is tomorrow at the Nationale Fairgrounds. Also,
- 4:47Speaker 7: Shucked is at tea pack It's a very funny musical.
- 4:49Speaker 7: I went on Tuesday night and I thought it was
- 4:51Speaker 7: absolutely hilarious.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Zach like wrote down while he was watching in a
- 4:55Speaker 2: bunch of like the little funny one liners, and.
- 4:57Speaker 4: He was at the back to it.
- 4:58Speaker 2: He was throwing a man.
- 4:59Speaker 6: Yes, I thought it was so good.
- 5:01Speaker 2: It sounds very funny. So they are.
- 5:03Speaker 7: There at Teapac until Sunday if you want to go. Also,
- 5:06Speaker 7: you guys know, books are so expensive, Like the last
- 5:08Speaker 7: book I bought was forever ago, so I don't want
- 5:10Speaker 7: to talk about it, but it was like thirty dollars.
- 5:12Speaker 6: Off Amazon, okay.
- 5:14Speaker 7: And so the Friends of the Brentwood Library are doing
- 5:17Speaker 7: their quarterly book sale that is happening today through Sunday at.
- 5:21Speaker 6: The John P.
- 5:22Speaker 7: Holt Library in Brentwood, where they're going to have hardback
- 5:24Speaker 7: books for only three dollars and paperback books for.
- 5:27Speaker 6: Only two dollars.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Oh that's awesome.
- 5:29Speaker 4: Yeah, it's amazing.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Also, there are plenty of bookstores you can also go
- 5:32Speaker 3: to for cheaper books that are secondhand books. Just to
- 5:35Speaker 3: thrown it out there, fi your books on Amazon.
- 5:37Speaker 2: Correct, support, support local, and.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Please read it's very important.
- 5:42Speaker 7: Also, we know Veterans Day is coming up, and so
- 5:44Speaker 7: they are doing a Veterans Day parade in Gallatin. It
- 5:47Speaker 7: starts at the Gallatin High School football field at nine
- 5:50Speaker 7: thirty tomorrow morning and it'll go all throughout downtown Gallaton.
- 5:53Speaker 7: So if you want something to do tomorrow outside with
- 5:55Speaker 7: the kiddos, go to the Veterans Day parade in Gallatin.
- 5:58Speaker 2: That's great. And a lot of us are looking for
- 6:00Speaker 2: stuff to do this weekend because the kids don't have
- 6:01Speaker 2: school Monday, so it's a long weekend. Yeah, we really
- 6:04Speaker 2: appreciate that, Zech, thank you.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Yeah, three things you need to know.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Okay, all right, just after seven o'clock. Happy Friday, friends,
- 6:11Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Remember that Timothy Schallomey lookalike contests that happened A bunch
- 6:17Speaker 3: more of these lookalike contests are happening across the world
- 6:20Speaker 3: now for different celebrities because of it.
- 6:22Speaker 4: If you don't remember, there was a Timothy shallow May.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Lookalike contest that happened last month in New York City
- 6:27Speaker 3: led to a massive crowd showing up and even Timothy
- 6:29Speaker 3: Shallomey himself came out, the organizer was ticketed by the police.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Someone was arrested at the event. It turned into quite
- 6:35Speaker 3: the mayhem just insanity, but that didn't stop other people
- 6:39Speaker 3: from wanting to copy the idea. So yesterday in Dublin, Ireland,
- 6:43Speaker 3: three free pints of ale was a grand prize and
- 6:46Speaker 3: a pal Miscow lookalike contest. Tomorrow in London, Soho Square,
- 6:51Speaker 3: guys that look like Harry Styles are going to all
- 6:53Speaker 3: come together for undisclosed prizes. San Francisco's gonna host a
- 6:58Speaker 3: Dev Patel lookalike contest this weekend, with the winner taking
- 7:01Speaker 3: home fifty bucks.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Next week there's.
- 7:03Speaker 3: A contest for anyone who looks like Jeremy Allen White.
- 7:06Speaker 3: They're competing for two packs of cigarettes and a seven
- 7:09Speaker 3: day metro car on.
- 7:10Speaker 4: The Subway in New York City.
- 7:13Speaker 3: And also in a week there's going to be a
- 7:15Speaker 3: free tattoo granted to the grand prize winner of a
- 7:17Speaker 3: Zane Malick lookalike contest happening in Brooklyn. More than three
- 7:21Speaker 3: hundred people have already replied go to the online invite
- 7:26Speaker 3: saying they're going to attend that one. So it's happening
- 7:28Speaker 3: everywhere all over the place. I've been racking my brain.
- 7:31Speaker 3: I'm like, I need to do one of these in Nashville.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I just don't know who to pay.
- 7:34Speaker 2: The theme here is. It sounds like somebody's just trying
- 7:36Speaker 2: to get a whole bunch of handsome guys together in
- 7:38Speaker 2: one ze.
- 7:39Speaker 4: Yeah, what's the issue, Kevin, No issue?
- 7:41Speaker 2: Go for it.
- 7:42Speaker 4: Okay, thank you so much. I need some suggestions.
- 7:44Speaker 3: If you have a suggestion of somebody, somebody who's either
- 7:47Speaker 3: from Nashville or you think there's a lot of lookalikes,
- 7:50Speaker 3: please text us six four.
- 7:51Speaker 4: Eight, nine to five.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Put river at the beginning of the message. I'm really
- 7:54Speaker 3: trying to organize one of these. Bob Castling, the Voice
- 7:57Speaker 3: of the Balls, is retiring. The announcement was made yesterday
- 8:00Speaker 3: on the Ball social media platforms.
- 8:02Speaker 4: After a twenty five year run as the Voice of the.
- 8:05Speaker 3: Balls, Hall of Fame broadcaster, Bob Castling will retire following
- 8:08Speaker 3: the twenty twenty four to twenty twenty five men's basketball season.
- 8:12Speaker 3: So shout out to him. That's a long career, a
- 8:14Speaker 3: very happy one.
- 8:15Speaker 4: So even though he's leaving, I'm sure he's happy that
- 8:18Speaker 4: he had such an amazing career and.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Trader Joe's Advent calendars are back, and just like their groceries,
- 8:23Speaker 3: they're the most affordable options out there. So the cheapest
- 8:27Speaker 3: option is a dollar twenty nine and has twenty four
- 8:29Speaker 3: chocolates inside of it. There are plenty of more options.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Trader Joe's has pet Advent calendars for both cats and dogs,
- 8:35Speaker 3: a twelve Days of Beauty calendar, a baking calendar, and
- 8:39Speaker 3: a candle one. So many of the options, like I said,
- 8:42Speaker 3: are very affordable. The most expensive one will run you
- 8:45Speaker 3: thirty dollars. Okay, I'm rick Sanchez and those are the
- 8:48Speaker 3: three things you need to know.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning on the.
- 8:54Speaker 4: River Zach's fax on one oh seven five the River.
- 8:57Speaker 6: You guys ever have a hard time sleeping?
- 8:58Speaker 7: Did you know that if you eat his staios before
- 9:01Speaker 7: you go to bed, it can actually help with your
- 9:02Speaker 7: sleep because it contains a high amount of melatonin.
- 9:05Speaker 6: I did not know that.
- 9:06Speaker 7: Yeah, So snack on some pistachios and you'll sleep like
- 9:09Speaker 7: a baby.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Do you think they're making us tired of we eat
- 9:11Speaker 2: them during the day, like I packed them for my
- 9:13Speaker 2: daughter's lunch today.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Oh no, terrible idea Kevin should have fall asleep in class.
- 9:18Speaker 2: That made a huge misteak.
- 9:20Speaker 6: You have, and that's your fact of the day, that
- 9:21Speaker 6: Kevin's a bad dad.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Ricky is Zach and manno in the morning.
- 9:28Speaker 3: Have you ever gotten into something new, maybe a hobby
- 9:31Speaker 3: or something along those lines, and then realized how expensive
- 9:34Speaker 3: it was later?
- 9:36Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what just happened to me.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Would you do?
- 9:38Speaker 6: It's not a hobby.
- 9:39Speaker 3: But I've been looking for alternatives to coffee because I'm
- 9:42Speaker 3: intolerant to coffee beans, and I found macha.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Okay. I never used to like macha. Now I do, but.
- 9:48Speaker 3: I didn't realize how expensive it was going to be
- 9:51Speaker 3: to enjoy macha.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Is it expensive? It's just like dirt, right.
- 9:55Speaker 4: It's first off, not dirt, it's.
- 9:57Speaker 6: That's what it tastes like. It's teez.
- 9:59Speaker 4: It's very thie, for sure.
- 10:00Speaker 3: But the entire process of making the proper type of
- 10:04Speaker 3: macha it's expensive. I need to buy like a whole
- 10:06Speaker 3: kit online on how to make good macha.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Okay, I didn't know that at all.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Here I am, I'm like, I can't have macha every
- 10:13Speaker 3: day because I can't make it properly. I thought I
- 10:16Speaker 3: finally figured out a way to do it in an
- 10:18Speaker 3: alternative universe kind of way, and it's still chunky.
- 10:21Speaker 2: Whatever you're drinking in your cup. You have making some
- 10:23Speaker 2: foul faces this morning for every sip.
- 10:25Speaker 3: So like if I enjoy, like, if I want to
- 10:27Speaker 3: enjoy my macha, I gotta spend money.
- 10:29Speaker 4: I didn't know that was going to be the reason, Like,
- 10:31Speaker 4: oh that I'm poor.
- 10:32Speaker 2: I am sorry that this is happening to you. But
- 10:34Speaker 2: let's throw it out and see if anybody has started
- 10:37Speaker 2: a new hobby or a new maybe food or drink
- 10:40Speaker 2: and it proved to be more expensive than you expected
- 10:43Speaker 2: it to be. Six seven, three seven, nine, one oh seven.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Let us know if you have your own macha situation
- 10:48Speaker 2: that Ricky has found herself in. Very said, I genuinely
- 10:51Speaker 2: am this songs for Ricky.
- 10:53Speaker 4: This song's gonna make me sad too.
- 10:56Speaker 5: Thanks for being a part of our morning.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I recently got into macha and I didn't realize how
- 11:05Speaker 3: expensive making macho is gonna be.
- 11:07Speaker 4: And now I'm at a loss. I'm so sad about it.
- 11:09Speaker 2: You think it's more expensive to make it at home
- 11:11Speaker 2: or buy it? Someone like, if you just bought it
- 11:12Speaker 2: somewhere every day, what would be more expensive?
- 11:14Speaker 3: It's expensive either way, and that's the bummer. It's Rickie
- 11:16Speaker 3: Zack Amano in the morning. We want to know what
- 11:19Speaker 3: you've gotten into and then realized later was expensive.
- 11:22Speaker 2: Zoe and Dixon, what was it for you?
- 11:24Speaker 4: Golf? Golf is so expensive. I don't know how people
- 11:28Speaker 4: do it. It's ridiculous, but it's so much fun and
- 11:32Speaker 4: so addicting.
- 11:32Speaker 2: I love golf too, and I have a lot of
- 11:34Speaker 2: friends that play a lot of golf. Not only is
- 11:36Speaker 2: it expensive, it's such a time commitment.
- 11:39Speaker 4: Yes, for sure, like a whole day blocked off.
- 11:42Speaker 7: What is the most expensive part of golf? Is it
- 11:45Speaker 7: the golf clubs? Is it like the outfits that you
- 11:47Speaker 7: have to buy? Is it printing the day golf balls?
- 11:55Speaker 1: Yes?
- 11:55Speaker 4: I have to buy them every time because I lose
- 11:57Speaker 4: so many.
- 11:58Speaker 7: Doesn't sound like you're very good, Zoe Perfect.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Zoe calls are very expensive though, and they are my
- 12:06Speaker 3: go to gift for my dad every birthday that he
- 12:09Speaker 3: has every Christmas, because I'm like, fifty bucks for golf balls.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a gift. My dad has a habit though,
- 12:15Speaker 2: a hobby of walking on a golf course when he's
- 12:18Speaker 2: playing and finding as many as he can. He has
- 12:21Speaker 2: bins full of golf balls. So Zoe, I should connect
- 12:23Speaker 2: you guys. Yes, yeah, you should just take those used ones.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Thanks for calling, Zoe. Yeah, thank you, guys.
- 12:29Speaker 5: I hope you all have a good day, you.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Too, Love.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Do either of you have something that you've gotten into
- 12:35Speaker 3: that you didn't realize it was going to be expensive?
- 12:37Speaker 6: I do, shocker, I'm so.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Surprised that that, Zach, what did you get into and
- 12:41Speaker 3: then later realized it was way too much money?
- 12:43Speaker 6: Knitting? Did you guys know that yarn was so expensive?
- 12:47Speaker 7: Yes, if you want like good quality yarn to like
- 12:50Speaker 7: make a toboggan or like a scar for somebody, it's expensive.
- 12:54Speaker 7: Like I went to Walmart, Target, Joanne's, all of these
- 12:57Speaker 7: different places and the yarn is so expensive. And if
- 13:00Speaker 7: you want like good needles, those are also expensive. Knitting
- 13:04Speaker 7: is a very expensive hobby, so.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Kind of like Ricky's mounch. Do you think it's cheaper
- 13:08Speaker 2: to buy a hat, a knitted hat or to make one?
- 13:11Speaker 6: Definitely buy?
- 13:12Speaker 2: Okay, so you gave up?
- 13:13Speaker 6: Yeah? Well yeah, sitting in my closet.
- 13:15Speaker 3: That's not surprising to me either, that you just gave
- 13:18Speaker 3: off entirely.
- 13:20Speaker 7: Yeah, I was watching YouTube videos to learn how to knit,
- 13:22Speaker 7: and I couldn't figure it out.
- 13:23Speaker 6: So it was just a really bad experience.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I'm sorry you're.
- 13:27Speaker 2: In PTSD over your six one five, seven, three, seven,
- 13:30Speaker 2: nine seven. What was your expensive hobby?
- 13:32Speaker 1: Wake Up Hathy with Ricky, Zach and Manno in the Morning.
- 13:38Speaker 2: Carpenter on the River. We got on this because Ricky
- 13:41Speaker 2: recently discovered her love of Macha and then she realized
- 13:44Speaker 2: how pricey it is.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Roseen Smyrna, what did you get yourself into? And then
- 13:48Speaker 3: later realized how expensive it.
- 13:50Speaker 6: Was reading reading.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Zach was just talking earlier about how expensive books are expensive.
- 13:56Speaker 3: I will say, though I love the discounted stores, the
- 13:59Speaker 3: preloved books are always my favorite ones to go to.
- 14:02Speaker 2: And I don't know if you've heard of this before,
- 14:04Speaker 2: I'm going to blow your mind right here, library, Kevin.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I like to keep my book.
- 14:13Speaker 2: They're so good.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I want to keep you.
- 14:15Speaker 6: Yeah, but like, I don't understand why you want to
- 14:17Speaker 6: keep them. You read it?
- 14:18Speaker 1: Now?
- 14:19Speaker 2: What because if you read.
- 14:20Speaker 4: It more than once, you missed something the first time that.
- 14:23Speaker 2: You read it okay, well then there you go. Just
- 14:26Speaker 2: get one book and read it over and over again.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Problem Kevin, thank you so much for calling in. Rose,
- 14:32Speaker 3: We appreciate you. Thank you, Sophie and Nashville. What did
- 14:36Speaker 3: you get into and then realize how expensive it was?
- 14:39Speaker 7: Boba?
- 14:40Speaker 2: Boba?
- 14:41Speaker 4: I love boba. It does tend to.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Be pretty pricey, though, and you can't really make it
- 14:45Speaker 3: at home.
- 14:45Speaker 4: It's never tasted the same.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Do they sell the little balls? Yeah, you can just
- 14:49Speaker 2: buy the little ball.
- 14:50Speaker 4: You can buy the that would be the boba.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Oh it is. The balls are called the boba.
- 14:56Speaker 6: Zach.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Thank you so much for calling in. We appreciate you. Okay,
- 15:03Speaker 4: all right, bye.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Thank you. I genuinely thought they were like tapioca balls,
- 15:08Speaker 2: and then when you put them in the drink, the
- 15:09Speaker 2: drink then becomes boba.
- 15:11Speaker 4: I think the little balls are the boba. I googled it.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Yeah, the chewy balls are the key ingredient. Let's see
- 15:17Speaker 3: boba also known as tapioca pearls.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Okay, it's the boba.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Okay, so you were right.
- 15:22Speaker 2: We're all right, he's not right.
- 15:24Speaker 4: I'm right, We're all right.
- 15:25Speaker 7: Well, they're tapioca balls, but they're the Boba though it's
- 15:28Speaker 7: the same thing.
- 15:29Speaker 4: The drink itself is in Boba, the things inside of boba.
- 15:32Speaker 5: The drink is tea.
- 15:33Speaker 2: I'm losing my mind here. I don't know what's tabbity.
- 15:36Speaker 2: We have pieces for ice a Galorland, but you open today,
- 15:41Speaker 2: you want to get those passes. Play the game of
- 15:43Speaker 2: the day next.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Thanks for being a part of our morning, Ricky.
- 15:46Speaker 1: Zach and Meno in the morning.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Mano's Game of the Day on one O seven five
- 15:52Speaker 3: the River. We're doing Name that tune, but this is
- 15:54Speaker 3: a Christmas edition because you're getting tickets to go to
- 15:56Speaker 3: ice featuring Frosty the Snowman at Galard Operland.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Good morning, Ryan and Hendersonville. How you doing. I'm good.
- 16:03Speaker 8: How are y'all?
- 16:04Speaker 2: We are great?
- 16:04Speaker 1: Man.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Do you think you have, you know, a pretty solid
- 16:07Speaker 2: knowledge of Christmas songs? I certainly hope though, because this
- 16:11Speaker 2: is a one word clue today, one single word lifted
- 16:14Speaker 2: from a popular Christmas song. If you can identify it,
- 16:16Speaker 2: these passes are yours. Okay, all right, here we go, buddy,
- 16:19Speaker 2: Here is your clue.
- 16:21Speaker 6: Corn Cob, that's it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: That's all you get.
- 16:23Speaker 5: Name that tune up to the Snowman.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Yeah, corn cob is all you needed.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Huh yeah, Yeah, I'm impressed, Ryan, I had no idea
- 16:34Speaker 3: what that was.
- 16:34Speaker 4: Oh really, that one was hard.
- 16:36Speaker 2: He's got a corn cub pipe and a button nose
- 16:38Speaker 2: and two eyes made out of coal. Okay, Ricky, do
- 16:42Speaker 2: you know Frosty the Snowman's first words, no, Happy birthday?
- 16:47Speaker 4: Happy birthday. But isn't it supposed to be a Christmas
- 16:49Speaker 4: song when.
- 16:50Speaker 2: They brought him to No like birthday? Yeah, in the show,
- 16:52Speaker 2: the movie whatever it is, when they put the hat
- 16:54Speaker 2: on him and he comes a live he says, happy birthday.
- 16:57Speaker 1: That doesn't make any sense to me.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Co grat right, and you're going to ice a galord
- 17:03Speaker 2: opry Land which is featuring Frosty the Snowman. This year's awesome.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Thank you all so much. Three things you need to know.
- 17:10Speaker 2: All right, he's after eight o'clock on this Friday morning,
- 17:12Speaker 2: Happy Friday. We made it. Thank you for being here.
- 17:15Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things.
- 17:16Speaker 3: Multiple people have been charged in Liam Payne's death. Two
- 17:20Speaker 3: hotel workers are being charged with providing him drugs, and
- 17:23Speaker 3: a friend of his was also detained after the police
- 17:25Speaker 3: raided his home. Liam's passying came as a surprise to
- 17:28Speaker 3: his family and friends about a month ago after he
- 17:31Speaker 3: fell from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires. Since that,
- 17:34Speaker 3: an investigation has been in place and this story is
- 17:36Speaker 3: still developing, so I will let you know anything that
- 17:39Speaker 3: comes out as it comes out. Ryan Reynolds has responded
- 17:44Speaker 3: to the rumors that he and Hugh Jackman would host
- 17:47Speaker 3: the Oscars. As far as we know, they're really trying
- 17:51Speaker 3: to look for a host of for the Oscars and
- 17:53Speaker 3: it's not been easy.
- 17:54Speaker 4: A lot of celebrities have turned them down.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Now you can add Ryan Reynolds and who Jackman to
- 17:59Speaker 3: that list. Unfortunately, he said, quote, I genuinely would love
- 18:03Speaker 3: to host the Oscars with Hugh one day.
- 18:05Speaker 4: I'd love to do that. I don't know about this year,
- 18:07Speaker 4: but one day.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Yeah, not gonna happen this year, though, I would like
- 18:11Speaker 3: to see that. So we will see what happens, because,
- 18:13Speaker 3: like I said, people are.
- 18:14Speaker 4: Just turning them down left and right. No celebrity wants
- 18:17Speaker 4: to do it this year for whatever reason. So once
- 18:19Speaker 4: they figure it out, I will let you know.
- 18:21Speaker 3: And Air Canada is expanding its Nashville offerings so there
- 18:25Speaker 3: will be new seasonal services to Vancouver which will operate
- 18:29Speaker 3: three times weekly starting Thursday, May first. The airline will
- 18:33Speaker 3: also increase its flights to Montreal to the Trudeau International Airport,
- 18:38Speaker 3: raising its frequency to twice daily.
- 18:40Speaker 4: So these are all really great things. BNA has just
- 18:43Speaker 4: been announcing left or right, new flights, bigger areas, more lanes.
- 18:47Speaker 4: They're really growing the airport into the airport that we
- 18:51Speaker 4: need here in Nashville. So it's really amazing to see.
- 18:53Speaker 4: I'm Ri Casantez and those are the three things you
- 18:55Speaker 4: need to know.
- 18:59Speaker 2: It's one o seven five the River, Ricky second man
- 19:01Speaker 2: in the morning. Thanks for starting your day with us.
- 19:03Speaker 2: So we have a question. We want you to suspend
- 19:05Speaker 2: reality for a moment and pretend that money does not matter.
- 19:08Speaker 3: Yes, so the question, well, the statement here is I'm
- 19:11Speaker 3: not rich, but if I were, i'd have.
- 19:14Speaker 4: A blank in my home. Fill in the blank.
- 19:17Speaker 2: The first thing that comes your mind, too, yeah, don't
- 19:20Speaker 2: like sit with this and think what's practical?
- 19:21Speaker 4: That first impulse, thinking too long, knows the answer.
- 19:24Speaker 6: It's an elephant.
- 19:25Speaker 4: You have an elephant in your home.
- 19:27Speaker 6: How sweet would that be?
- 19:28Speaker 5: Oh?
- 19:29Speaker 2: My lord, that is not what I expected. Six seven
- 19:31Speaker 2: three seven nine, one oh seven. The first thing that
- 19:34Speaker 2: popped in your head when Ricky you put that blank
- 19:35Speaker 2: out there in front of you.
- 19:36Speaker 4: We said not to think about it. Zach did not
- 19:38Speaker 4: think about it?
- 19:39Speaker 3: Nohant, Yes, what's your answer?
- 19:42Speaker 1: Let us know it's the real here to make Nashville
- 19:44Speaker 1: traffic just a little less stressful, Ricky, Zach and Manno
- 19:48Speaker 1: in the morning.
- 19:49Speaker 4: On the river Nim Murphy's Borough. Fill in this blank.
- 19:53Speaker 4: I'm not rich, but if I were, I'd have a
- 19:56Speaker 4: what in your home?
- 19:58Speaker 2: Ah, what a great answer, she was brilliant.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Yea better than the elephant that Zach said.
- 20:03Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good.
- 20:06Speaker 3: We all agree, Lauren, a chef would be phenomenal.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Thanks for calling, Lauren, have a great weekend. Well, uh, Heather,
- 20:12Speaker 2: hey there, what would you have if money was no object?
- 20:14Speaker 2: If you were rich, you'd have a what in your house?
- 20:16Speaker 4: A birken bag?
- 20:19Speaker 3: Would it be more than one burken bag? Or just
- 20:21Speaker 3: a singular one?
- 20:22Speaker 4: Ricky, girl, you are talking to the girl I love ptoes.
- 20:26Speaker 6: I would have a million.
- 20:28Speaker 7: I would be so excited, so.
- 20:29Speaker 4: You have a whole burking closet.
- 20:31Speaker 3: I would probably pool Kargashian and let my kids just spray.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Painting because I have so much money. That could just
- 20:37Speaker 4: buy another.
- 20:37Speaker 8: Wow.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I don't know what makes a Burken bag so special.
- 20:39Speaker 2: I mean, I know all I know about.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Me.
- 20:44Speaker 5: They are me.
- 20:45Speaker 4: Yeah, they are not like through a factory.
- 20:47Speaker 5: They are canned meat for whether everything is beautiful.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Okay, I get it now. Thanks for calling, Heather, have
- 20:53Speaker 2: a great weekend.
- 20:54Speaker 6: Bye bye bye.
- 20:56Speaker 2: To tell you the truth, I don't get it now.
- 20:57Speaker 2: I don't why anybody would spend that much money in
- 20:59Speaker 2: a bag.
- 20:59Speaker 4: But do you do you bags too?
- 21:01Speaker 2: Really?
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 21:02Speaker 4: Some of them are like two hundred thousand dollars. Yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 4: a bag.
- 21:07Speaker 6: That makes no sense to me.
- 21:08Speaker 5: Ken.
- 21:08Speaker 4: You can't breathe right now.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I feel like you read that wrong. You're adding in
- 21:14Speaker 2: a zero. What would you have, Ricky, if you had
- 21:17Speaker 2: all the money in the.
- 21:18Speaker 3: World, I would have just a house in general. I
- 21:20Speaker 3: live in an apartment because the house, so I think
- 21:23Speaker 3: just that house in general.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Get a house in your house six one, five, seven, three, seven,
- 21:27Speaker 2: nine one seven. Filling up like for.
- 21:29Speaker 5: Ricky zecond man over in the morning.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, we're all running on like four hours of sleep.
- 21:34Speaker 2: Also, Renna in Nashville fill in the blank here.
- 21:37Speaker 4: I'm not rich, but if I were, I'd have a
- 21:39Speaker 4: what in my home.
- 21:40Speaker 3: A slide.
- 21:42Speaker 7: I love this, like a slide that'll put you down
- 21:46Speaker 7: at the dining room table, because i've seen those people far.
- 21:49Speaker 3: Oh yeah, it's all over pictures and it's like on
- 21:52Speaker 3: every one of my board.
- 21:54Speaker 2: So people really do have slides in their houses.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I love this idea. That's the most fun
- 21:59Speaker 3: one that anybody said thus far.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I like the idea. What about a water slider? Is
- 22:04Speaker 2: it a dry slide?
- 22:05Speaker 3: It's a dry slide, don't, like I said something terrible?
- 22:10Speaker 4: An indoor pool?
- 22:12Speaker 6: Then that would be.
- 22:12Speaker 3: Fun, yes, but like you can't have a water slide
- 22:15Speaker 3: that just takes you from like your bedroom to your
- 22:18Speaker 3: living room.
- 22:19Speaker 2: I thought the whole point of this was just anything
- 22:21Speaker 2: you can dream up, And now you're telling me there
- 22:22Speaker 2: are limitations.
- 22:23Speaker 6: Were gonna smell realistically.
- 22:26Speaker 7: You're gonna have to put on your swim trunks just
- 22:28Speaker 7: to slide down the slide, and then there's water all
- 22:30Speaker 7: over the house.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Will should you want an elephant in your house? How
- 22:33Speaker 2: is this less practical than that?
- 22:35Speaker 6: I feel like an elephant makes more sense.
- 22:37Speaker 4: But now they've lost their minds Now.
- 22:40Speaker 2: All right, have a great day, Thanks for calling.
- 22:43Speaker 5: Yeah, thank you.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Happy to be your new best friends.
- 22:47Speaker 5: Ricky Zach in the morning on.
- 22:50Speaker 3: River double Tap on one of seven five the River.
- 22:53Speaker 3: This is always a video that we find either funny
- 22:56Speaker 3: or something that's gone viral on the internet, and then
- 22:58Speaker 3: we play it for you.
- 22:59Speaker 4: Today, Zach found this one.
- 23:00Speaker 7: Okay, so I saw it on TikTok and Kevin, I
- 23:02Speaker 7: need you to tell me if it's true or false,
- 23:04Speaker 7: because you're the only married person in the room.
- 23:07Speaker 2: I will tell you right now it's one hundred percent
- 23:08Speaker 2: trol Okay, here it is.
- 23:10Speaker 8: Are there any husbands out there that actually say no
- 23:12Speaker 8: to their wives? Because my wife could bring home a
- 23:15Speaker 8: whole lot whale and I will be irritated. But yet
- 23:17Speaker 8: I'm still gonna build an aquarium in the backyard. And
- 23:20Speaker 8: sometimes when she does call me, it's more like a
- 23:22Speaker 8: comic courtesy because even if I did tell her no,
- 23:25Speaker 8: she ain't gonna listen anyways.
- 23:27Speaker 6: No, that's true.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Uh yeah, yeah, I mean it may be a slight.
- 23:31Speaker 4: Exaggeration, but yeah, nervous to say yes.
- 23:34Speaker 2: No, it's just it's sort of defeating to admit that,
- 23:36Speaker 2: but it's very true.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 2: No, I mean, like you know, every once in a
- 23:39Speaker 2: while will be like a Saturday with nothing going on,
- 23:41Speaker 2: and then Ally's like, hey, we should rearrange every room
- 23:43Speaker 2: in the host it in and just okay.
- 23:46Speaker 3: All right, whatever you say, it doesn't look afterwards.
- 23:50Speaker 2: It always does.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Goods got the best idea, proper answers.
- 23:55Speaker 2: So yes, that's accurate. We're gonna put that video up
- 23:57Speaker 2: in the Instagram stories at one o seven five The River.
- 23:59Speaker 2: It's grammers put the daily double tap off there.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Thank you, happy to be your new best friends, Ricky,
- 24:05Speaker 1: Zach and Mano in the morning on one oh seven
