A Fort Wayne mother has pleaded guilty to neglect after her two-month-old daughter died from asphyxia caused by overlay and wedging — the baby was found face down under a couch cushion. Investigators uncovered drug paraphernalia, including a pipe, lighter, and prescription bottle, and the mother tested positive for amphetamines and meth. The infant was born with THC in her system, and the mother appeared drowsy during interviews.
