David Montgomery Struggles in Houston | Detroit Lions News
The Lions appear to have benefitted from trading away running back David Montgomery, who is struggling with a groin injury and averaging just 2.7 yards per carry with the Texans. His performance has slipped dramatically, leading to the possibility of increased reliance on Woody Marks, who had a solid recent outing. Meanwhile, Lions offensive lineman Juice Scruggs is excelling as the top-graded center in the NFL, showcasing the potential impact of this trade as the season unfolds.
