- 1:49free, but definitely consider supporting artists on whatever
- 1:54platform it is that you stream and listen to your music on.
- 2:02So very special, very fun, very cool episode here that we got
- 2:08lined up. Today, we are going to be having
- 2:11on the youngest guests to date and a longtime supporter of
- 2:18midgard musings going to be talking about a few things
- 2:23before we welcome him in. So, without further Ado, let's
- 2:29break through the noise and get this Started.
- 2:53All right, so yeah. We Got some things to just knock
- 3:00out of the way real quick. As always, if this is your first
- 3:03time tuning in or finding the random even ramblings podcast,
- 3:08thank you so much. Like I said, my name is Jessie
- 3:11and I do these on a weekly basis.
- 3:14These have sort of become a, the weekly Cadence of my YouTube
- 3:20channel midgard, musings has largely been on the podcast
- 3:24thing, just because of my times. And, you know, And and all that
- 3:30kind of stuff. There will be coming out here
- 3:34soon, a sort of state of the channel address that I will be
- 3:37publishing on the YouTube channel.
- 3:38So if you wanted know about the future of midgard, musings, the
- 3:45production side of things. If you want to find out more
- 3:48about that than I encourage you to subscribe to midgard, moods
- 3:51musings on YouTube. I will probably talk a bit more
- 3:55about it at the beginning of Season 3 of this podcast, which
- 4:01will be at the beginning of 2021 are sorry, 2022, not traveling.
- 4:06Back in time. I'm moving forward.
- 4:08We are moving forward together, pressing forward, pressing on
- 4:14into new thing. So there will be a state of the
- 4:15channel address coming up on YouTube here in the coming
- 4:21probably week or so. Yeah, well, you know, before
- 4:24the, before the end of the year for sure, Just to kind of let
- 4:29all of the folks know what to expect in the coming year.
- 4:34I know a lot of folks that support the channel monetarily
- 4:40through their Channel memberships.
- 4:42Have been wondering what in the heck is going on.
- 4:46Because a lot of the membership perks that, you know, I have
- 4:53listed there are things that I haven't done in months and
- 4:57there's a good reason for that and we're going to get into that
- 5:01with the state of the channel address.
- 5:03So we're going to be adjusting some things on the channel to
- 5:08better fit, what I'm capable of doing.
- 5:11That's not going to impact my personal life too greatly but
- 5:14also to give back to those who To give so much to me and help
- 5:18me keep being able to do these sorts of things and do what I
- 5:21do. So, we're all here to learn
- 5:24together. This is a fun educational very
- 5:28laid-back, sort of thing. Like I said, for all those that
- 5:30are new to this. So if you are new and you want
- 5:33to know more about what this is, It's a Norse / Germanic Pagan
- 5:38Channel, or or podcast and we talked about all kinds of
- 5:41things. So, one of the things that I
- 5:44really love about this, this where this podcast has kind of
- 5:51turned over this probably last year or so, is that it is turned
- 5:56into a very inclusive thing. I've had some really cool
- 5:59guests, a lot of great friends met, new friends and learn a lot
- 6:06of new things in this past year that I've been able to talk
- 6:09about and share with all of you, you know.
- 6:12And I hope that The laid-back entertainment, part of things is
- 6:17has made it enjoyable for you. So, if you want to, you know,
- 6:25Give me some feedback on that. You can do it in a number of
- 6:28ways you can. Send an email to midgard musings
- 6:32Tian at gmail.com, you can call into the midgard muezzins
- 6:35hotline. That is a domestic Us number and
- 6:39it is 6, 1, 5 6, 7 1983 to standard rates, apply from
- 6:44wherever it is that you're calling, but leave a voicemail
- 6:47and we'd love to feature your voice on a future random.
- 6:51Even ramblings podcast. If you would like to know more
- 6:54about everything else that I do, you can follow me on my social
- 6:57media platforms, which includes Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.
- 7:02And of course, YouTube. I do have a patreon page.
- 7:05It's again going to be something that I talked a bit about more
- 7:08in depth for ordering the state of the channel address.
- 7:13And, but in the show notes of this episode, as in all episodes
- 7:18are down in the description of this video, or if you're
- 7:19watching this, on the YouTube Premiere, you'll find a link
- 7:22tree link. And if you click on that, link
- 7:23to your link, it will take you to all of my sites or I'll take
- 7:27you to one place that you can visit all of my sight.
- 7:29So, so check them all out down there and if you like follow
- 7:33comment, Whatever the other one is like follow subscribe, upvote
- 7:40the episodes, favorite them whatever, just whatever way that
- 7:43you can give back by just, you know, engaging with the social
- 7:47media algorithms and such that way.
- 7:50It's great. There's also merchandise for
- 7:53those that want to, you know, provide some monetary support.
- 7:58So that's one thing I wanted to mention.
- 8:00The other thing is that the intro music that you hear at the
- 8:04beginning of every episode, not Unhide stuff.
- 8:07But the other intro music we are in the works of producing a new
- 8:17midgard, musings theme song, theme music, whatever.
- 8:21It's a track that's being written by a very good friend of
- 8:26mine and he's been on actually on this podcast before Josh
- 8:30groom is a is writing a piece that is dedicated to Mid Garden.
- 8:35Using some very Very excited. Been hearing some really great
- 8:38things of the of, as far as the musical arrangements and stuff.
- 8:42And I've been involved in the feedback that he's asking for.
- 8:45In terms of, do you like this? Do you want this?
- 8:47Take this out at this Lala and we're going to be something
- 8:51really special with it. Can't really say a timeframe on
- 8:55it yet because again it's still in the in the very infant stages
- 8:58of things. So we're still, you know,
- 9:01waiting to you, no proof the final.
- 9:06Then then get it sent off to the producer for its final mastering
- 9:10and then when we get it you'll hear about it here first and
- 9:17you'll get a special thing to kind of go with it to enjoy it
- 9:21and check it all out. So very excited for that.
- 9:24That will be most likely coming around again in the early parts
- 9:27of 2022. Just again depending on how long
- 9:31it's going to take for all of the production stuff to to file
- 9:34to be finalized but Josh I was really excited about it.
- 9:37He's been working on it. Tirelessly it seems like he's
- 9:40always sending me messages here lately.
- 9:41Hey dude, working on this want your feedback on that shooting
- 9:44e-mails back and forth. Facebook messages, the whole
- 9:47nine yards. And I'm excited to matter of
- 9:51fact that that's at the time of this podcast being recorded
- 9:56which is a couple of weeks of well that a week or so, a week
- 9:59and a half away from when it airs, I am awaiting another
- 10:04draft. So by the time this episode
- 10:07airs, you guys will be hearing about it later on and I'll have
- 10:11already probably heard close to. What may be the final draft?
- 10:15So stay tuned for that. Coming up in 2022.
- 10:19But without further Ado, I think I've rambled on enough about my
- 10:22own stuff and and things pertaining to it.
- 10:25The podcast is going to be doing the YouTube channel and how
- 10:28that's going to impact your viewing.
- 10:30And listening experience coming into the new year and into the
- 10:34new season season 3. So let's go ahead and welcome in
- 10:39my guest. As name is Wyatt, Coverdale he
- 10:42has a YouTube channel as well, he has actually been featured on
- 10:45a number of midgard musings YouTube live streams.
- 10:48He's He's engaging in the comment section, especially
- 10:52during live streams. And he's been on again, a couple
- 10:55of live streams where he's like talking and stuff like that.
- 10:59He's got some really interesting perspectives and perceptions on
- 11:03things and so let's see what we get into today.
- 11:06He does have some Heathen views, I say Heathen views, but he's
- 11:09very young, and he's very, he's learning a lot, he's absorbing a
- 11:13lot and his and his alternative approach or his alternative
- 11:16perception to just the world around.
- 11:18Around him is pretty interesting and intriguing and I know not
- 11:23just me, but some other folks that going to hopefully have on
- 11:27the podcast with him tonight. We'll see is is it's always a
- 11:32real fun time, hearing his thoughts, talking about stuff.
- 11:36So let's see what we can get into today with Wyatt Coverdale
- 11:39here on the random Heathen ramblings podcast.
- 11:42It's welcome them in All right, folks.
- 11:48Well, here we are back at the Second to last, I guess this
- 11:54will be now episode of random Heathen ramblings of season 2.
- 11:58And as I mentioned in the intro, I've got with me joined today,
- 12:03white, Coverdale, and also you've seen him here before many
- 12:08times. We've got dingo here on the
- 12:10podcast as well, so hello and welcome to the show Wyatt in
- 12:14dingo Hello everybody. I'm like ever do.
- 12:21Yeah. Yeah.
- 12:22You are running things like this.
- 12:30Well, you'll learn to expect the unexpected around these parts.
- 12:34My man cuz I was I was I was telling everybody like in the
- 12:39intro just a little bit about you with what information I had
- 12:43at the time and The I feel like it would be a really neat thing
- 12:47to just go a little bit into like just who you are.
- 12:51You don't have to go into too many great details, but I was
- 12:53telling everybody. Like, you know, why it here is
- 12:56the youngest guest first of all the youngest guest that I've had
- 12:59on this podcast but you you're no stranger to midgard musings
- 13:03and you're no stranger to. You know, what I do here and
- 13:07you've been a very active participant over the last like,
- 13:13year year or two. You can't be active in a
- 13:17philosopher at the same time. Those two don't go inside.
- 13:20I see, he's getting just jumped into the deep end.
- 13:25He's just like, oh yeah, by the way, no life jacket, no, no, no,
- 13:30no life preserver, no, nothing with his just jump into the deep
- 13:32end. Okay, so it's going to be one of
- 13:34these deals. Oh yeah, by the way, wait, I
- 13:41thought there was a girl, right? Sorry that I kept the As you
- 13:45put, it vamping out in the live stream.
- 13:49I do that sometimes because I want you guys to figure it out,
- 13:52yourselves. Sometimes I just leave
- 13:54intentionally and it's a nice try.
- 13:56Giving him a tea riyals and much chaos ensue.
- 13:59I love it. I love it.
- 14:00Especially when it's such a, an impromptu sort of thing, like
- 14:04those live streams where you were just like, hey, I'm here
- 14:06and you go off onto thing up to the thing that we were talking
- 14:09about. And, and then you like shoot, I
- 14:12gotta go by and then we're all just sitting there kind of like
- 14:15with our fingers up our noses. Like what what the heck was
- 14:18that? They didn't go was there?
- 14:20I think for one of them I think Alex from Red Rabbit Hole was on
- 14:23that whole, it was like a real impromptu thing like oh let's
- 14:25just bring a bunch of people in like and then next thing you
- 14:28know we were all like left with this just you know, big thing to
- 14:34digest and then but that's why it guys, he's got a YouTube
- 14:39channel is information is going to be annotated in the show
- 14:43notes of the of the podcast. Well, as in the description of
- 14:46the video. So however you're absorbing this
- 14:49podcast, check the respective areas for his channel to see
- 14:53just what he talks about which is what what do you what do you,
- 14:57what do you use your platform for?
- 14:59How do you, what do you what you do?
- 15:02Philosophy called Magic, a couple forms of art like poetry.
- 15:06I think I have one song on there.
- 15:09I probably won't be going to say your music.
- 15:10Yeah yeah but I probably won't be doing any of that anymore
- 15:14because Was fighting my parents. Think I'm going to get copyright
- 15:17for the thing that I used. So several forms of art science
- 15:23magic philosophy literature since I do poetry a lot.
- 15:26The book writing those kind of thing.
- 15:29Yeah. And, you know, I used to be a
- 15:32record label owner and musician for a little while and If you
- 15:40want to talk about copyright laws and you know I can have a
- 15:43conversation with your parents on how those things work because
- 15:47I've been there. Yeah, he's navigating those
- 15:51Waters I'd say very I don't think it'd be a really good idea
- 15:55to introduce you guys to my parents.
- 15:56Any further, we don't bite. Yeah, yeah, I get it, man.
- 16:11I get it. You're in a urine, a unique, you
- 16:13know, we're all in a unique position with this and I just
- 16:15want to say, I think it's really cool that that we were able to
- 16:19coordinate this you know because of that whole dynamic, you know
- 16:23what I'm saying? So it's really cool that we got
- 16:26this opportunity to just sit together and as friends and just
- 16:29ramble on about random things. And one of the cool things that
- 16:32I thought I would want, I wanted to mention was one of the first
- 16:36like, Moments that midgard musings.
- 16:41Got a video posted about them. At least that I'm aware of
- 16:44their. There could be stuff out here in
- 16:45the internet that I'm not aware of.
- 16:47But like, one of the First videos that somebody else posted
- 16:50that, like, made a conscious effort to kind of, like, call
- 16:54out my Channel or shout out my Channel or whatever was yours
- 16:57Wyatt. You did this thing and it was
- 16:59like it was a live stream. I think that I had been doing
- 17:03and I gave you a shout-out or I said hi and that.
- 17:05Like for you at that time you were like Oh my gosh, you know,
- 17:10like he did. And he says, this is so cool.
- 17:12And I was like, man, that, that that's kind of where I think
- 17:14this whole relationship as it were started very good.
- 17:19Yeah. I mean, I'm not very as Fanboys
- 17:23as it was before but at the time I felt inspired from that
- 17:26because I mean, you were my teacher, basically, ever since
- 17:29your channel started or around that.
- 17:32I've known you for quite a while but you don't know me the yeah
- 17:37like in that that's like where it all started.
- 17:39You say, you know, Fanboy or whatever?
- 17:43I mean like we're like you see here, real people, real people,
- 17:46nothing fake just authentic and real.
- 17:48And that's with anybody that I deal with.
- 17:50You know, I mean it's I just I'm just a guy with a YouTube
- 17:53channel too and I'm just a heathen with the YouTube channel
- 17:55and I just use that platform to talk about heathen related
- 17:59things, and you've been engaged with it.
- 18:02I think you've Also got some items that made it made, it made
- 18:06it your way that were either crafted by people.
- 18:10I know, or by myself with that, they kind of tie into the whole
- 18:16Heathen, the Norse Heathen, or Germanic Pagan side of things.
- 18:21But you have a very broader approach to existence, I guess
- 18:28to life or whatever. I don't want to put words into
- 18:30your mouth, but it doesn't, it's not tied to one specific thing.
- 18:33So and the words. DH Thorne.
- 18:38Who is another pal of mine on YouTube?
- 18:41Even if I were to forget, everything that I had ever
- 18:44learned about magic, so long as I could keep the knowledge and
- 18:47philosophy that I had learned, I'd be totally fine with it.
- 18:51Because that's the most important part to me, it's an
- 18:53understanding of the universe rather than the manipulation of
- 18:57mm-hmm. Well, manipulates not like
- 19:01Tango. That reminds me of someone not a
- 19:10whole lot of people know this about me, but I was a trained.
- 19:15Martial artist when I was younger and There was a guy that
- 19:21was in the same Dojo as me. I never practiced with him, but
- 19:27he became paralyzed and he said that, he felt like he could
- 19:32practice martial arts, not being able to move.
- 19:39And that always stuck with me. Cuz that's the core of it.
- 19:49Yeah, I remember I questionably argue.
- 19:53I don't really want to use that word because I'm not trying to
- 19:55argue but The purpose of that is the purpose of magic, so I
- 20:02wouldn't associate it with that word.
- 20:05Is it? The purpose or is it how it
- 20:07works? Magic is not the manipulation
- 20:10magic is the understanding? Yes.
- 20:14Okay. Here's where the big brain
- 20:16starts to leak in and you can argue about semantics all day
- 20:23but that's how I view magic because that is The Soul
- 20:29Purpose. Okay, well, I'm going to get
- 20:33into that in a minute, but before I forget, I remember Alex
- 20:37said something on the livestream.
- 20:38He said, remember, when I mentioned as a software dreamer
- 20:43from love crafting more? Yeah.
- 20:45Don't be said, is that the Lesser key of Solomon?
- 20:48No, you're thinking of astoroth and as right?
- 20:52Yeah, I corrected him on that in a text message.
- 20:56As I recall later that night, You can say anything about me.
- 21:04Did you come on? And we talked all kinds of crap
- 21:06about you. What do you mean?
- 21:07No, we don't know all of the stuff that we have to say young
- 21:12man you have had many things said about you and none of them
- 21:15are bad or you know what, it's not even that it's good or bad
- 21:27it's just like Well, it is good. I mean, I'll say that much, but
- 21:30anything, that's like, I don't want to be like talking bad
- 21:32about people. If there's something that's
- 21:34worth, talking to someone about that's constructive and could
- 21:36help them, then you talk to them about it, you don't, you don't
- 21:39talk about them, you talk to them and talk with them about
- 21:42it, right? Hey, you know, think about this,
- 21:44but dude, I'm just going to say, like, the your, your insights,
- 21:47your thoughts, your conversations.
- 21:50Even if it's just in a chat group or, you know, during a
- 21:54live stream or a comment on a video, it's it.
- 21:58It's invoking, its thought inspiring, and it has put me in
- 22:02positions to think about things and I hope it does the same way
- 22:06for others, you know. And that's just coming from the
- 22:09heart, from one of our bags that for the question of perception.
- 22:17You know, like your perception is different.
- 22:21Your perception of yourself is different than my perception of
- 22:24you. What is every way around, you
- 22:29know? That means a lot coming from
- 22:33you, two. I mean as well, Bingo slightly
- 22:37new but you too. Now you two are my biggest
- 22:41Inspirations so far. I think the more you hang around
- 22:46us man in this atmosphere in this setting, right?
- 22:49And I when I say hang around, I mean we're distance separates us
- 22:54mileage separates us, but the connection that we're able to
- 22:58have through the the, the conveniences of modern.
- 23:02Technology. Allow us to touch a little bit
- 23:05on the Essences of oneself. Right?
- 23:07Because we talked and what is talking?
- 23:09Talking is weaving words, when we when we speak when we when we
- 23:13talk, when we write we are we are spelling.
- 23:15We are we are writing out words. We are saying words, we are
- 23:17speaking words. We are spelling, we are casting
- 23:19spells you seriously, we are reading from a script.
- 23:24There is no script in front of me.
- 23:25I can 100% feel like I just got the Soros.
- 23:29Well I mean I like We're all peers here, you know?
- 23:34And that's the gnarly thing. Dude, we meet at a round table,
- 23:42a virtual Round Table. Yeah.
- 23:45You know, in the Years between our lives, right, whether it's a
- 23:50generational Gap or anything like that means little to
- 23:53nothing right now because we are meeting out of Common Ground.
- 23:56We were talking about things that we can at least on the to
- 23:59some degree each relate to. You know, and that's like where
- 24:07it started with you being really kind of like blown away that I
- 24:10said your name on a live stream or whatever and I'm like wow
- 24:13this kids you know interested in what I do and it didn't stop
- 24:16there. It was like a seed that got
- 24:18planted you know and there was nurturing and there was tending
- 24:23to I guess you could say in a way very Loosely to keep the
- 24:29thing growing and it's grown. To what it is now and I hope to
- 24:33see more growth come from it. And I think that there's a lot
- 24:36of opportunity there, there's no reason for me to think that it
- 24:39shouldn't or couldn't continue to grow, you know.
- 24:43Yeah, man, me too. I'm not sure what I do eat that
- 24:47video. I think I deleted it
- 24:50accidentally because I was going through, you know, one of my
- 24:52channel Cycles improve. Yeah, I might have accidentally
- 24:56deleted that. Well, if it's there, it's there,
- 25:00if it's not You know, we know we all know, we know it.
- 25:04We know what happened, right? Our little secret.
- 25:09Yeah, but I like the I like the thing about the the manipulation
- 25:16versus the understanding. You know, let's talk about that.
- 25:21Let's get into that a little bit.
- 25:23I think Wyatt. You had some things you wanted
- 25:24to jump into with that, you know, talking about big brain
- 25:27stuff. I assume that would be the The
- 25:32video was the functions of magic and things like that which you
- 25:36did one recently on right? Yeah.
- 25:40Yeah I haven't made anything on the functions of magic itself
- 25:45yet. I think that had to do something
- 25:46with time. Whatever you saw.
- 25:48Okay you touched on it? Yeah it was like a footnote in
- 25:52the larger Spectrum I think but well I'm not going to explain
- 25:58the entirety of quantum physics and a single 11 minute video.
- 26:03You think that? That's right.
- 26:05That's a reservation. You could, man.
- 26:10I'll be like, you know what? He's the host of the podcast now
- 26:12guys, right? Yeah, but me, I got nothing on
- 26:15this guy. He's it, you know, but I feel
- 26:19honored. So, first two arms, the question
- 26:23of how magic Works does it exist?
- 26:26How does it function doesn't have meaning and Cetera?
- 26:30First, I have to ask, how do you to believe magic work?
- 26:34I need to see your perspective spirit.
- 26:38Then go. You want to start that one off?
- 26:41Fine it. Define the word that of magic
- 26:48that you define what you associate that with.
- 26:53Because when it comes to that, it's that meet that word means a
- 26:58very different thing to have many people.
- 27:03Well, I mean, you either understand the blanket term.
- 27:06Don't you like magic with a K? If you want to say, That sounds
- 27:13more Wiccan. The spiritual magic, the idea of
- 27:21manipulating and or understanding the universe
- 27:24through somehow connecting with it.
- 27:25It's bowed, but it's a two-sided.
- 27:28Okay, it's both but it's a two-sided coin, it's really a
- 27:32three-sided thing because you have you have the the pure
- 27:36knowledge in the middle that just Irrelevant in a way.
- 27:42But not, and also. There's no bias, right?
- 27:49And then you have the practice of it which is a very physical
- 27:54thing and then you have the result of it which is a very
- 27:58mental thing while referring to all that as a blanket term just
- 28:03you know the general right well but that becomes a very
- 28:06complicated question on what is Magic because magic is science.
- 28:15Okay, well, I got definition magic is you know, all forms of
- 28:23science. Basically, it's a, you know,
- 28:26you've got your Chemistry, you've got your biology, you
- 28:30have your psychology. You have your sociology, you
- 28:36have your anthropology with the cultural changes that come from
- 28:43that on large, groups of people and, and how cultural identity
- 28:49becomes a thing. A magic is is a very broad
- 28:54spectrum term for science. Okay, well, if you want me to
- 29:00give you the simple answer, that's what I would say.
- 29:05How can magic be a type of science so the outcome of its is
- 29:12completely unpredictable. So let me since since then go
- 29:16gave his answer and I know the question was positioned or posed
- 29:19to the both of us. You mind if I because I feel
- 29:22like the follow-up to what dingo said leads to another question,
- 29:25which why you already started into you mind, if I give my
- 29:29answer as well and then kind of go from there.
- 29:33I was asking about you. So yeah right.
- 29:35So Magic to me. Can can incorporate a lot of
- 29:39different things to the extent that if I go into the kitchen
- 29:43and I collect herbs and I collect ingredients and I boil
- 29:49water. And I combine ingredients
- 29:53together to make a delicious meal.
- 29:56That's magic. If I combining other ingredients
- 30:00oils and and, and, and, and herbs and things like that.
- 30:04And I Date a a wonderful smelling soap or or bone of
- 30:11sorts. That's, that's magic in itself.
- 30:14If I write poetry that, that touches someone through reading
- 30:18or, through speaking that they are emotionally Jarred.
- 30:23They're, they're, they're inspired, they think, of certain
- 30:26things in a different way. Or they're inspired to think of
- 30:28things in a certain way that's magic in and of itself as well.
- 30:30There's there's parts of magic in all those things which
- 30:33touches a bit on what And go was asking you about in terms of
- 30:37like the the understand like what do you think?
- 30:39Magic is like there's magic in all of it.
- 30:41We don't know what the outcome is going to be in the kitchen.
- 30:44I don't know that if I combine rosemary, thyme, butter, garlic,
- 30:48and and onions that I'm going to make anything good.
- 30:51The idea, the idea intent is to make something good for the
- 30:55purpose being that I want to you know provide a delicious tasting
- 30:59meal for my guests, right? I could burn the garlic, I could
- 31:02burn the the sage or the Rosemary, whatever it is.
- 31:05I'm cooking. So there's there's there's that
- 31:08aspect to it. It's very literal to me, right?
- 31:11That it's not always mystical, it's not always a satirical
- 31:15either it's literal. It's so much about the physical
- 31:21the or the profane maybe even as is another way to say
- 31:25incorporates Elements of magic. Well, that's the only way we can
- 31:30experience it is through the profane through those senses
- 31:34through those tangible sons and placing, right?
- 31:37Yeah. So there's my answer.
- 31:41What was your father that? Well, to answer the question at
- 31:47hand, which is, is Magic a science or art and also how does
- 31:53it work still on to that Vision? To ask the question.
- 31:57Of whether or not magic actually causes anything.
- 32:00Is it a cause? Is it a causational thing?
- 32:04Well to that I'd have to answer. Have you ever heard of the block
- 32:08time theory? The what the block time theory.
- 32:15Lock time theory. Yeah, it relates to time, I
- 32:22mean, you know, elaborate regardless for the listeners,
- 32:26all right. The block time theory is
- 32:29essentially an idea that Universe can is contained in the
- 32:33box, which is the only product, which I don't necessarily
- 32:36believe them but it's the idea that everything is overlapping
- 32:40everything at the same time. Like there is no past present or
- 32:43future, it's all happening simultaneously and that's the
- 32:46same with everything physical and you know, just dimensional,
- 32:52right? So How can cause and effect
- 32:57exist? If it's just a single snap and
- 32:59then loss And I catch me. I mean that depends on if you
- 33:08follow that way of thought process.
- 33:12Oh yeah, that's another thing is it's just continuing overlapping
- 33:16each other intimately. If something doesn't have a
- 33:19start nor and then how can it be, causational or affect you?
- 33:27because when you put fire to water, it boils Yes, and water
- 33:34isn't necessarily the thing. We're talking about so think of
- 33:37it like it is it all goes down to that because that is Magic as
- 33:42well chemistry. The early forms of magic.
- 33:47If you study the early forms of what was referred to as magic,
- 33:52it was a lot of herbalism, it was a lot of shamanism culinary
- 33:58practices. The rituals were very basic and
- 34:08a required element leading to wiping.
- 34:11You know, like that, then that's where you're talking about.
- 34:14If you want to go into like the technical terms of magic of like
- 34:17green magic or black magic, or white magic or whatever, you
- 34:20know, like Chemistry and chemistry comes from Alchemy.
- 34:29Right. And you know, let's not forget
- 34:31it like at one point in time the whole definition that that magic
- 34:35at least at one point in time in our human history, right?
- 34:39If a woman could read and write, she was a witch and she was
- 34:44practicing magic and she was, you know what I mean?
- 34:46Magic is a modern term Much because magic just used to be
- 34:57like existing. Well okay think of it like this
- 35:07science is a measurement tool. In the best way.
- 35:12It can be described, an art form, is the process of creating
- 35:18something for the process of understanding something through
- 35:20creation. Don't you think that art would
- 35:23relate more to magic and science?
- 35:25Assuming it's completely unpredictable and most of the
- 35:28time you're the one that's coming up is the method and
- 35:30ideas of it? Not necessarily.
- 35:33I mean you have to look at for example.
- 35:37Math metal where bands go into a studio with a formula and then
- 35:47they write the song after that formula.
- 35:52Yes. Well, I'm a writer or from a
- 35:54chemistry perspective. Cooking is one that I love to go
- 35:58to, you know, like because water is going to boil at that point.
- 36:06Well, I mean, but you don't necessarily know the exact
- 36:10molecular structure of the pasta that you're about to toss in
- 36:14that water. Therefore, it becomes an art
- 36:18form, right? And you have to go by field
- 36:22rather than science because you don't have scientific research
- 36:29into that pasta, you just rolled out yourself.
- 36:33Well, I mean some people usually apply What type of formula to
- 36:39the ritual sport? For example, I think the most
- 36:41common method is to, you know, draw the circle called the
- 36:45quarters, Etc, the looking method.
- 36:48But a crucial part of understanding that is that those
- 36:53methods don't necessarily they aren't the thing that matters.
- 36:56The point is that you're into that state of mind.
- 37:01That does make it can exist and they can't help but they aren't
- 37:05actually necessarily that important to it.
- 37:08They can be done in any other way.
- 37:10I would agree. Yeah.
- 37:12I haven't I haven't done that and use that method in over a
- 37:16decade and that is what makes magic and art because it isn't,
- 37:24it wasn't preformed, right? Are we talking like Less than
- 37:27the calculated approach. It's I don't know if I'm jumping
- 37:32ahead of it but I don't know. You're you're on point.
- 37:36It's pure chaos. Like you just give them
- 37:38materials and you throw things together until something works.
- 37:41I mean, the thing is enough. Yes, I know, right, you know,
- 37:47you can go into it with the structure with the order with
- 37:49the die like the the stop point. A start Point, Middle Point and
- 37:55end point you Can go into it and that sort of mindset.
- 37:57But there's other aspects of it that take over that are outside
- 38:02of your profane, understanding of space and time that you exist
- 38:06in and around and depending on the approach that you take into
- 38:12magical practices and we may be getting into more of like the
- 38:17not the profane, not the mundane type stuff.
- 38:19The more like psychedelic, maybe even or more of the Real, woo,
- 38:27woo type stuff where you're outside of your own existence,
- 38:31you're outside of your own perception of existence and you
- 38:33are experiencing things around you that are true and real as it
- 38:38is for the, the Unseen, the things that we can't tangibly
- 38:43feel in our day-to-day lives because we're just not connected
- 38:47to that aspect of existence anymore on a day-to-day basis.
- 38:53An interesting example for this A good friend of mine.
- 38:57Daniel, I've known him since I was five.
- 39:00So I've known him for over 30 years by this point and damn you
- 39:05old. I know, yes.
- 39:12Look Who's Talking. A man has died word building a
- 39:24shed, right? And my buddy Daniel is like he
- 39:30studied calculus and trig and all that, he's a computer
- 39:33programmer. He took high level math courses
- 39:36and all of this made his own programs and his TI-83, you
- 39:40know, like and before he could imput the functions. of the
- 39:50measurements needed to build said structure, his dad had the
- 39:55exact calculation And he was like, well, you know, hang on,
- 40:02just like, let me. Oh damn, you're right?
- 40:06Wow, okay, sorry, old man, art can be as accurate.
- 40:17That freeform can be just as accurate.
- 40:20It's just a different language. It's very similar to me and
- 40:25music would be. Another example, I could use
- 40:28that I can't read sheet music worth a crap.
- 40:31I can't sight-read I can but I'm like, I'm like a five-year-old.
- 40:36Like I'm like f c. Like I'm really slow at it.
- 40:43But if I hear it, I got it. Yeah that's an interesting skill
- 40:49to have. I want to talk about.
- 40:51What what's the? That's that's where magic is the
- 40:58bridge between science and art between the abstract and the
- 41:05concrete. Jessie, you're going to say
- 41:09something I just since we were talking about music before,
- 41:14before we started the podcast, I can go and I were absorbing
- 41:19something recently. And I mentioned this in the
- 41:21intro about midgard musings, having a theme and having music
- 41:24written for midgard musings and dingoes privy to it and knows
- 41:28about it to its raw form. And that right there, man has
- 41:36been a project. Started off as one thing and
- 41:40then I was asked about feedback and there was hey can you do
- 41:44this? Can you do that?
- 41:45And then the person working on it comes back.
- 41:47And says, here's what I've got. And here's also some things that
- 41:50I added that you perhaps didn't mention I'm using very like
- 41:54basic terms. It was it seems methodical but
- 41:58the organic approach to it was very I don't know man.
- 42:04It was almost like Vines growing up a tree.
- 42:06It's like oh we're going this way.
- 42:09And then we're going to go this way because this is just the way
- 42:11things are going to go and then and then there's an element that
- 42:14adds to that life point of the growth and then we're going to
- 42:19go this way with it. And we're going to go down maybe
- 42:21and we're going to go out and we're going to go up and we're
- 42:23going to go in and we're going to go sideways and, you know,
- 42:27it's raining sideways and put it in all of it though, because it
- 42:31still follows a pattern, it is that there's a pattern to it but
- 42:34there's even off she sequences the only thing that I can think
- 42:37of it's Phoebe. She sequence where it?
- 42:39Yeah, it just builds upon itself, right?
- 42:42In a cyclical Manner and it's the most perfect, organic way,
- 42:47it's not chaotic in the sense that there's no semblance of
- 42:50order. It's just there's there's a
- 42:54difference I believe with chaotic the existence appears to
- 42:58be but it's not right. There's there's an organic order
- 43:01to it with that we that we in our profane understanding of
- 43:06space and time can apply. It's like You can't force
- 43:09something to do something. It's going to do, it's going to
- 43:11do, but you can kind of train it, or nurture it to be, what
- 43:14it's going to be in its way. And that's the way, the music's
- 43:17the way this song, the way this musical piece has grown Check
- 43:24that music out. What are you talking about?
- 43:26Oh yeah, you're going to hear it, you're going to hear you
- 43:28say, You're going to hear it. Everybody's gonna hear it.
- 43:32Every was going to hear, it's going to see and it's cool that
- 43:33the conversation segue to that part of things, because it seems
- 43:38to fit this more of the conversation, whose GI thing for
- 43:42magic and that it, it grows, you know, like there's there's songs
- 43:49that I've written that have taken years. to finish because
- 43:53it had to have those specific layers and there doesn't seem to
- 44:01be a method to the madness but there is.
- 44:05Yeah. Okay, we're talking about
- 44:12formulas, right? The theme of the podcast, where
- 44:16the hell were we? That is the theme of the
- 44:20podcast. Where the hell is that?
- 44:30Need that one same exact formula to work even for other people,
- 44:35like you can create your entirely own approach to it.
- 44:38It isn't just two substances together, create a reaction, you
- 44:41can do that with literally everything and that's what makes
- 44:43it more of an art form because you can piece it together on
- 44:46yourself. It isn't a thing that requires a
- 44:49process in order to get there. Yeah.
- 44:54I mean in a sense but think of it like if you're talking about
- 44:59like having one thing for everybody or whatever like what
- 45:03if you're allergic to said medication that's not going to
- 45:08work for that person. And so it has to evolve and to
- 45:11you have to change your Yeah. Flow of energy.
- 45:16So to speak, you know. Yeah.
- 45:19But the thing about that medication is it to somebody
- 45:23else. It doesn't even have to resemble
- 45:25the, the chemical compound in the original one.
- 45:31It can literally just be, it can be an entirely different
- 45:34substance if they wanted it to be.
- 45:36Yeah, but there's a science behind that that dictates how
- 45:41that reaction occurs but everybody's brain chemistry and
- 45:46body chemistry is different. So you have to adapt.
- 45:50It's a dingo you know it's an ever-flowing process science is
- 45:54an ever-flowing process, right? Like science. 50 years ago
- 45:59doesn't even come close to resembling science today
- 46:03especially if you're talking about.
- 46:04For example. Psychological care.
- 46:08Yes. Science. 50 years ago.
- 46:10Even psychology science could be viewed as barbaric by today's
- 46:18standards. It has to evolve because things
- 46:22change. Well yes but not so science
- 46:25Isn't So concrete. Well, yes, but nothing in Magic
- 46:30is actually really evolving. It's just changing.
- 46:33Its just because involving that it right?
- 46:36It is the changes that that's Evolution man.
- 46:40That's change is inevitable, it's evolution is change.
- 46:47It's the thing that was is not. What is evolving other than
- 46:55picking up a different set of material to work with?
- 46:58It's adapting to the circumstances around you it's so
- 47:03much picking up different materials, it's adapting to
- 47:05circumstances. Well that wouldn't be advancing
- 47:09as a thing that would just be adapting to a new form.
- 47:14It may not be in advance but it's a doubt.
- 47:16Everything is is advancing. I mean, we had a tornado here, a
- 47:20couple of nights ago in Tennessee, and when I was a kid,
- 47:24that was unheard of we had snow on the ground.
- 47:27And and the 80s, you know like here in December and we have
- 47:31tornadoes now like nature is changing.
- 47:35Nature is evolving. Nature is adapting and we have
- 47:39to roll with those changes or we will not survive.
- 47:46And I wonder too if a lot of the shit that we've experienced use
- 47:49the language that we've come to experience an Arts day and time
- 47:54with weather and nature, and things like that.
- 47:57Have a large, the result of which is largely due to us as a
- 48:03species us as humankind, people, are at large trash, and people
- 48:11do not respect and, and And and live symbiotically with the
- 48:17world that they are privileged to be a part of.
- 48:20They just don't at large, you know, you can.
- 48:24And I watch Midsummer Friday night, don't piss on the
- 48:26ancestral tree, right? Things will happen, right?
- 48:32Well, I disagree with that, exact, I disagree with that
- 48:35exact example, but I get what you want.
- 48:41Don't piss on the ancestral tree.
- 48:45I'm not really big enough ancestors.
- 48:48Well let's talk about it. Yeah, let's go there.
- 48:53Let's go there. What's up?
- 48:54No, no hate, no judgment. Let's just talk about it because
- 48:58we could learn some things. Maybe you, maybe you can teach
- 49:00us some things we can all learn from each other, why?
- 49:03Not? Okay, this this completely off
- 49:12shot from where I thought this would go, but that's fine and
- 49:23sisters. So I don't really value
- 49:31ancestors very much and the reason for that is it's because
- 49:36I believe that their continuation of the ancestral
- 49:39tree is sort of a selfish act and every way of the word
- 49:45because I mean, think of, I mean, you're putting this being
- 49:51into another into a world where it exists and it can feel and it
- 49:56can think and it's what's the word I'm looking for?
- 50:04It's vulnerable to suffering. There we go.
- 50:07It's vulnerable to all these horrible things that can
- 50:10possibly happen to it. And the worst part is that most
- 50:13of it is horrible, especially in the ancient times with the
- 50:17ancestors that we're talking about because you know there's a
- 50:20lot of famine they were sort of unbalanced.
- 50:23Really and you put this being in this world to suffer for about
- 50:3070 years and then to do the same to their children.
- 50:33Also, you can have a purpose and also, you can consent to
- 50:36continue the line of suffering. Doesn't that seem selfish to
- 50:39you. That's why I'm probably never
- 50:43going to have children. Well, that's a fact.
- 50:47What that says to me is kill all humans.
- 50:51I mean, right? Human-like again, so so, and
- 50:56that's fine. So Wyatt and ending go in me,
- 51:02right? We would not be here talking
- 51:04about these things. Educating ourselves learning
- 51:06about our respective respective, existences and and looking to
- 51:12benefit our own individual existence has, and then sharing
- 51:15our thoughts with the world, because that's what we're doing.
- 51:18We would not be able to do this, if it Not for our ancestors, I'm
- 51:22talking about our parents and our grandparents and those who
- 51:26did the thing that got us here. We had no choice or say in that,
- 51:30but here we are. Well, what was the motive?
- 51:34What was that? What was the, what was the
- 51:36purpose behind that? What was the motive behind that?
- 51:39There's love? There's a purpose behind it.
- 51:43Whether it was to create on. Yeah.
- 51:46Whether it was to create and preserve a family line or
- 51:50whether it was too. To have that that family unit.
- 51:54I mean there's it's not all bad granted a lot of it does suck
- 51:57like you know we're here now and we're dealing with a lot of crap
- 52:01as human beings like the world. Just it is.
- 52:04It's a pretty crappy situation. Let's be honest.
- 52:07Like it is, but there's also positive things to be taken from
- 52:11it. So to not take stock, or to not
- 52:15give stock into our ancestors. I feel is a bit of a disservice
- 52:18to them because, hey, you know what?
- 52:21Did and how they did it. It was it was survival, it was a
- 52:24preservation of family lines and it was probably a lot of other
- 52:29things that that may not just touch on the surface level of
- 52:33like I want to just, you know, get busy with somebody and have
- 52:37a good time and Hoops. There's a kid, I mean there,
- 52:41there it is that, I mean, that stuff like that happens.
- 52:43And we're getting into some pretty heavy duty, things on
- 52:46that line of thought or that track, we had to South brother
- 52:50did that happen. A lot around here.
- 52:52I mean you know what else is there to do?
- 52:54They don't have they don't have kids and letters another things
- 53:00we aren't only just thrown in and induced to basically an
- 53:05entire lifetime of suffering and then encouraging our children to
- 53:08do the same but also were thrown in with zero context.
- 53:13The universe doesn't care about what we know that just wants us
- 53:15to survive and that's something that I don't really value a lot.
- 53:20But that's where Is that Larry that way?
- 53:22Do you know, right animals plants and everything?
- 53:26Is thrown animals. Everything lives.
- 53:27That way. Yep.
- 53:29We're just part of that cycle women.
- 53:31We're we're we're Pawns in the game and we're we're we're small
- 53:36players in the larger scheme of things, you know.
- 53:39So what do we do coming from? Someone who's three-year-old
- 53:43daughter at the time? Three years old.
- 53:46Looked at him with big tears in her eyes and said, Daddy lies
- 53:50hard sometimes and I don't think I'm strong enough to deal with
- 53:53it. She's 3, no way.
- 53:59She gets it already and yeah it's sad man.
- 54:02But like that's that's lighting Dingo and I were at a we were at
- 54:10a funeral of a near dear friend and brother to both of us and
- 54:16without naming names without being specific, I won't do that.
- 54:19But we were there and that individuals son who's I think
- 54:25maybe Eight or something. I mean he's young.
- 54:30They're not mine. I can't wait for was with.
- 54:32Yeah. I mean young man goes and just
- 54:35blurts out. I'm having a mental breakdown
- 54:40and just as I'm having a mental breakdown Lee and I love him and
- 54:44I stopped. Yeah and I stopped I think we
- 54:46both did dingo you and I were both sitting there we but I
- 54:48looked at him like man kid, you know just wait without knowing
- 54:53the full context of why. He said what he said, but
- 54:57understanding later on some of the things going on in his life
- 55:03or whatever. It's like, again, the age, the
- 55:05number that the perception of our existence and started in
- 55:08terms of time, right? This kid just expressed himself
- 55:12in a way that was like, man, that's profound.
- 55:14Like I'm having a mental breakdown having a nervous
- 55:16break. I'm having a breakdown over here
- 55:17is very adult. It was it was.
- 55:20Yeah, it was a dolt mature, I guess.
- 55:24I mean, I don't know. It was so like you look over and
- 55:28you go, man, you think you haven't won now?
- 55:29Just wait, but at the same time, it gave pause to think about
- 55:35why, why do you say something like that?
- 55:37At that tender young age? You know.
- 55:40Well, that's when I had came to the sad but not really sad
- 55:45because there's more to it. But somewhat sad conclusion,
- 55:48that existing, in general is probably the cause of suffering,
- 55:53because if you weren't to exist in, there would be No separation
- 55:56between well, anything so suffering, nor pleasure would
- 55:59exist, and you wouldn't even be there to experience what the
- 56:03thought of pleasure or pain would be like.
- 56:05So it would be pure Bliss so I told him I had that thought very
- 56:11close to your age. That hit close to home and find.
- 56:16I know so samsara, it's samsara. Yeah, so we always suffering
- 56:24birth is pain. Life is pain, death is pain.
- 56:26It's all suffering. Yes, but let's let's let's look
- 56:33at it one other way to what does suffering lead to.
- 56:37What does that adversity? Lead to it breeds a thing if you
- 56:41allow it to and this this goes into some very specific
- 56:45approaches to life and how we because again nature is
- 56:49suffering, nature experiences. The very thing that we as humans
- 56:54as simple as as conscious beings as in a way to express, Sit in
- 56:59words and all this that we're able to talk about like these
- 57:01are things that are that are experienced in nature that they
- 57:04don't have the the verbal expression to describe, but it's
- 57:08still there. It's still an inherent part of
- 57:10existence. So the adversity, the suffering,
- 57:16can if we allow it and if we work it in such a way on
- 57:21ourselves as the beings that we are, those things breeds worth
- 57:26it breeds things of of importance to our people and to
- 57:30our nearest and dearest. So like if everything just
- 57:32sucked and we just didn't do anything about it, then we all
- 57:37be just some pretty miserable sack of Flesh walking around
- 57:41here the existing right but we take some we say we take
- 57:44suffering and we in the best way that we can at least I hope
- 57:52allow that to temper us and and and put us in a position to Be
- 57:58more worth to it to our peers into the to those that we are
- 58:04nearest and dearest to around us you know.
- 58:06Otherwise like you say we're just kind of just existing in in
- 58:10misery until we Aspire find the things that make you suffer
- 58:15less? Well, yeah.
- 58:18What would worth be to you if you were to not exist?
- 58:24Where is this place? What my what my worth is is not
- 58:29what I deem my worth to be. My worth is what other people
- 58:33tell me my worth is. I'm worth nothing.
- 58:37Unless my people tell me, I'm worth something.
- 58:40And that's where the relationship between our people
- 58:44ties in. We are not just trees, we are
- 58:47not just plants, we are not just animals.
- 58:50We are conscious beings that have connections to two other
- 58:55conscious beings and We we live or die by that and our existence
- 59:06in between, is going to be the quality of life is going to be
- 59:11determined based on the people that were around the people that
- 59:14we tie that weird those, those threads with, we're all sort of
- 59:19interconnected in a way. Well, what would the quality of
- 59:22life be worth to you? If you weren't living my point?
- 59:26Is that will, if you're if you're not living, then there is
- 59:28no question. There is no quality of life.
- 59:30I mean, it's oxymoron. Yeah, well, there's no non
- 59:33quality of life. How would a tree exist if you
- 59:39will never have existed are? Okay, let me preface.
- 59:43Are you saying, have you never existed at all?
- 59:47Or are you saying if you were to cease to exist at this moment?
- 59:55To cease to exist entirely entirely from beginning to end
- 1:00:00but also then you've been nothing would nothing.
- 1:00:04This would be all that you would know as far as we know.
- 1:00:10Well what is nothing? Because we don't know anything
- 1:00:13about non-existence because the only way that humans can
- 1:00:18experience to our knowledge is by existence.
- 1:00:25What is nothingness, but everything.
- 1:00:26But together, when you mix all the colors in the color, in the
- 1:00:30spectrum, that we can see, including the grayscale.
- 1:00:33What do you end up with nothingness?
- 1:00:36Is everything there those are the exact same thing.
- 1:00:39Yes my father said color thing is when you mix all the time
- 1:00:43that's why I don't believe in death.
- 1:00:47I don't believe non-existence is possible.
- 1:00:51Without existence. They, they can't exist without
- 1:00:55one another. Therefore if they're there is no
- 1:01:01non existence because there has to be that existence parallel
- 1:01:06that there has to be that balance.
- 1:01:07Otherwise nonexistent is not doesn't make sense it it has no
- 1:01:15function as nothing to balance off of.
- 1:01:19Well, that's what you think because you currently exist.
- 1:01:21I mean he wanted to that rational sort of mine.
- 1:01:24Well y'all are. Well, it's not, isn't it?
- 1:01:27Well it's not only that but if you have nothingness, There has
- 1:01:33to be an existence. Otherwise there is no
- 1:01:35nothingness. But there's nothing to
- 1:01:39nothingness. Is a concept that we cannot
- 1:01:43conceive with our human brain because the only thing we have
- 1:01:47to compare it to is existence. Well, if you were non-existent
- 1:01:53what would be what would be the difference between nothing and
- 1:01:56something? There would be, I mean, again
- 1:01:59that's something that the that know, I don't think any living
- 1:02:02sentient being can conceive because if non-existence were
- 1:02:08all then nothing would exist at all.
- 1:02:13It would just be nothing. It was just be black, it would
- 1:02:16just be nothing. Nothing you do nothing but good
- 1:02:20things exist. Nothing.
- 1:02:22There has to be that way. They exist, they exist.
- 1:02:27There has to be so doesn't concept of nothingness is by the
- 1:02:31opposite of existence. Right?
- 1:02:34Because every every piece of lore that exists in multiple
- 1:02:39cultures describes existence coming from nothingness, whether
- 1:02:44it's Norse and they're gonna Gap, right?
- 1:02:46There was a void, there was Blackness and there was elements
- 1:02:49that could that Clash, that combine that create that their
- 1:02:51pets. Guard that whole creation myth
- 1:02:53or whether it's Christian or judeo Christian concepts of the
- 1:03:00creation Theory where it was the Earth was without form and void
- 1:03:03and there were things that happened from the creator of the
- 1:03:06less you avoid. Which that covers like marry an
- 1:03:09Egyptian Mayan Indian Hindu. Exactly.
- 1:03:14It all started from nothing at all started for nothing but for
- 1:03:16us to exist, interests of to to have a understanding of our
- 1:03:20existence. It started from Thing, and it
- 1:03:22could not continue as nothing for life to exist for for
- 1:03:27Symbian life to exist. Couldn't there had to be, there
- 1:03:32had to be something there, had to be at least that Speck that
- 1:03:37Speck of dust. That was something in order for
- 1:03:40there to be nothing. Otherwise, there is truly
- 1:03:46nothing. Yeah, well, my perception of it,
- 1:03:49is that nothing does exist. I mean, for example, I'm going
- 1:03:53to use. So what are you?
- 1:03:56What am I exist? What are you An illusion that
- 1:04:01you're perceiving. That may very well be.
- 1:04:06Well, all of us could be an illusion.
- 1:04:08We could all be in a simulation of a simulation of a simulation.
- 1:04:12Shout-out, Rick and Morty. I mean, just like, right, so
- 1:04:18what am I then? There are we're we all Illusions
- 1:04:24to one another and if we are we're still experiencing it.
- 1:04:27And so it doesn't matter if I mean, 50% of astrophysicists and
- 1:04:36Quantum, physicists agree that we are possibly in a computer,
- 1:04:41simulation regardless, that's our reality and we exist within
- 1:04:45it. And therefore We Exist.
- 1:04:50Okay. I have an answer.
- 1:04:52I am you coming on to you in a different form.
- 1:04:56Right. But that still exists for the
- 1:05:01idea of the self. If it was here, your Tibetan
- 1:05:06Book of the Dead and and regardless we still exist,
- 1:05:15you're still experiencing this. And so you got to deal with it.
- 1:05:19You have to deal with that and unless you just give up.
- 1:05:23Then you have to deal with that existence regardless of what it
- 1:05:26is. What, what medium it is.
- 1:05:28It doesn't matter. It's the medium that we can
- 1:05:31perceive and understand If it was seen from Material
- 1:05:36perspective, being the body and the self in the physical world,
- 1:05:39it can't be the self because the self can't be found within you
- 1:05:43can say, this is the kidney. These are the lungs.
- 1:05:44That's the heart, here's the brain etcetera, but where is the
- 1:05:48self energy of that? You could say that the self is
- 1:05:50all the parts to put together, but being separate or connected
- 1:05:53to anything about Solutions, simultaneously.
- 1:05:55So yourself would be the concept of those things being connected.
- 1:05:59At that point, we leave materialism because Concepts and
- 1:06:02thoughts are not Material. So that would mean that the self
- 1:06:05is conceptual still no because Concepts cannot exist.
- 1:06:08Only the in our experience beyond that, it is only Oblivion
- 1:06:12in there for nothing. So we are our experiences.
- 1:06:14No. Because our experiences don't
- 1:06:16exist and are all Illusions. So we are literally nothing
- 1:06:18perceiving. Nothing We're just a moment
- 1:06:23receiving. If my kidney fails, I'm gonna
- 1:06:26have a bad time but you're still perceiving, you know and whoever
- 1:06:30wrote that sounds like they read a lot of Carl Jung.
- 1:06:35You know, I wrote that and that kind of sounds like you've read
- 1:06:39a lot of Carl Jung. I don't even know his name.
- 1:06:44You should look in the Carl Jung.
- 1:06:45I think you would like him a lot.
- 1:06:47Yeah, I saw that kind acts, same thing.
- 1:06:53There's the self when you're talking to self the self.
- 1:06:58I don't perceive myself as existing.
- 1:07:05I don't view myself as a singular.
- 1:07:09Thing. Then what is your experience?
- 1:07:13I'm a father. I'm a brother.
- 1:07:18I'm a son. I'm a worker at my job.
- 1:07:28Unworthy. I I'm a musician.
- 1:07:32I'm a composer. I'm all of these things, but
- 1:07:36don't none of those things are me.
- 1:07:40Mime, all of those things put together, the, the me that you
- 1:07:46perceive me to be is totally different than the me that Jesse
- 1:07:49perceives me to be or that my mom perceives me to be or the,
- 1:07:53my kid perceives to me. Need to be, it's all the same
- 1:07:56person. It's all the same self, that
- 1:07:59those are all completely different ideas and entities.
- 1:08:05So you are everybody else's thoughts of you if you're ready.
- 1:08:08Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that's what we all are.
- 1:08:10Yep, that's what humans have
- 1:08:23forgotten and gotten to driven on the ego.
- 1:08:28And the add level and things. We are, we are connected and
- 1:08:33we're more connected than we think we are.
- 1:08:38Well, what are those people? And what are those thoughts of
- 1:08:41you other than just more Illusions from different
- 1:08:43perspectives? They say they see things as the
- 1:08:47same as you. Most no, they don't, they really
- 1:08:51don't know. They still follow the standard
- 1:08:55philosophy. They function off of the same
- 1:09:00philosophies what I'm trying to say, you're not exactly.
- 1:09:03No. They don't function in the same
- 1:09:08manner at all. I got known this guy.
- 1:09:12I've known I've known dingo for the probably.
- 1:09:14I've known dingo as friends and and and stuff for like the
- 1:09:18biggest part of like the last six six ish or so years.
- 1:09:23All right, just let's put things into the to the, to the realm of
- 1:09:27things that we understand, right?
- 1:09:28The spatial time that we understand as humans of all that
- 1:09:33shit. So I've known him for like the
- 1:09:35last six years, whatever, I haven't really gotten to know,
- 1:09:38him know him Until very recently because I was him and he was me
- 1:09:43and we were I and I were we and there was a lot of things that,
- 1:09:47you know, took place very recently that that that killed
- 1:09:52the individual perception of ourselves right?
- 1:09:56Cuckoo kachou, mother ever, right?
- 1:09:58I mean, I know and it sounds very I don't know, it sounds
- 1:10:05very goofy in a way like when you Talk about it like that, but
- 1:10:10the experience of it all? It was like, man, just
- 1:10:13individual experience, individual understandings of
- 1:10:16self is a perception of it all. When you experience each other
- 1:10:21in a way that transcends that profane understanding of it all,
- 1:10:25it goes into this type of stuff that you're talking about, why
- 1:10:28it, but it, you absorb it totally different and you
- 1:10:31experience it in a different way where it's like, I don't even
- 1:10:34really matter myself. None of this right here amounts
- 1:10:38to much of anything. because it's just it's just what you
- 1:10:40get, what you see, is what you get and that's About it.
- 1:10:45It's surface level stuff the way that the world is connected, the
- 1:10:50way that humans are connected with.
- 1:10:52We're all connected goes Way Beyond anything that most people
- 1:10:56in the world can describe our experience.
- 1:11:03Do you remember what I said from the livestream?
- 1:11:05About the dream area, how everything is a dream and our
- 1:11:09minds are only limiting us to a certain point because if it
- 1:11:12didn't, then everything would be chaos.
- 1:11:13And therefore nothing. Well, we still are that nothing
- 1:11:17just wear nothing ordered in a specific way.
- 1:11:21So the reason why you and I are connected and UI and dingo are
- 1:11:25connected this because, well, there's no separation between
- 1:11:30nothing and nothing. They're all connected because
- 1:11:32there's literally nothing else to connect, but it's pure
- 1:11:36Oblivion. Its Subterranean, is one of the
- 1:11:40ways that I like to put it, it sits beneath the surface and it
- 1:11:44It's not even just beneath the surface.
- 1:11:45It's like so far so far beneath it.
- 1:11:49It's inside itself. I don't know.
- 1:11:51It's a very weird. Have you ever accepted?
- 1:11:57Existence is something and we haven't figured it out yet but
- 1:12:01we're still all floating in the void, right?
- 1:12:03We're all just kind of Struggle Bus they're awake, they're
- 1:12:05doing. So you know, we're just all
- 1:12:08floating and avoid. Yeah, but this existence thing
- 1:12:11is weird and we're trying to figure it out, still Jesse There
- 1:12:15is no below the surface because but what happens when you dig
- 1:12:20all the way through a planet, you get to an end of a pod.
- 1:12:25Guest, I don't know, the aren't stopping.
- 1:12:30No. I mean this is this is stuff
- 1:12:33that like I say we could go on for probably six seven hours and
- 1:12:36have a long drawn-out stuff conversation about.
- 1:12:40It's absolutely engaging and I love this type of thing because
- 1:12:44it goes beyond just the, you know, what do you believe in?
- 1:12:49You know, what do you think happens when you die or any of
- 1:12:52this other, sort of like, how do you exist with people?
- 1:12:53Like, it's very important. Aunt types of conversations to
- 1:12:57have, unfortunately, we do have a Somewhat of a time frame to
- 1:13:01keep within because we are people and people have things
- 1:13:05that they need to do. And I have things that I need to
- 1:13:07do and we all have things that we need to do.
- 1:13:09Like we could we could literally probably do just go on and on, I
- 1:13:14know with this particular crowd in our and I vote would go on
- 1:13:19for this part 2 with Patrick and Alex.
- 1:13:23Sweet. Yeah, I think that would be a
- 1:13:25great podcast. So let's let's do part two of
- 1:13:28this. We'll schedule it for season 3.
- 1:13:31Well yet what will get an awesome audience will get you
- 1:13:34know all of the you know we'll get you dingo will get.
- 1:13:36Patrick will get Alex and we'll just go down into the proverbial
- 1:13:44Rabbit. Hole dig into the core go into
- 1:13:47the Subterranean levels of things and explore at all.
- 1:13:52Let's get To it, you know, there's still one pretty
- 1:13:55important thing I want to mention today that involves
- 1:13:59magic if you would allow me to sure, let's go ahead.
- 1:14:04Have you ever watched those mandelbrot Zoom videos and have
- 1:14:09you ever after a while thought that you were controlling it?
- 1:14:12The zooming of the mandelbrot like you feel like you're
- 1:14:15leading yourself into something intentionally.
- 1:14:19Well, assuming there's no separation between you and the
- 1:14:22man. A blot with the mandelbrot being
- 1:14:24the Universe? I think that's sort of how magic
- 1:14:27works. We, we are just going into the
- 1:14:30magic, the mandelbrot and give them the illusion that we're
- 1:14:33controlling it. And therefore, not only does
- 1:14:38that get rid of the idea of cause and effect, but that also
- 1:14:40gets rid of the idea of actually manipulating anything.
- 1:14:45It's just, it isn't us, it isn't us causing anything, it's just
- 1:14:51becoming aware of the next motion of mandelbrot set.
- 1:14:55That's all I want to say. Yeah, it's us becoming aware
- 1:15:02that we can. That we do, see it.
- 1:15:08There we go. So how is it causational if it's
- 1:15:11just prediction How is it a science in that case?
- 1:15:17Yeah. It depends on what form of
- 1:15:21magic, you're referring to. Well, chaos magic specifically.
- 1:15:28But I'm using this as sort of a general blanket term for
- 1:15:30everything. Right, because chaos magic is
- 1:15:36totally different than Herbal Magic.
- 1:15:38Yeah. But yeah, man.
- 1:15:42Like that can, that's sweet. I mean, random Heathen
