Welcome to 70 per 80, the 7080 .it section that
• 0:58
deepens the topics discussed on the portal. I
• 1:01
am with journalist Enzo Mauri, who introduces
• 1:04
the current topic. Good morning, today I am talking
• 1:06
about a famous television show. 52 years away
• 1:11
from the premiere, the series in five episodes,
• 1:13
then became six, the adventures of Pinocchio
• 1:15
by the director Luigi Comencini, has nothing
• 1:17
to envy the current productions. Freely treated
• 1:21
by the novel by Carlo Collodi, the adventures
• 1:22
of Pinocchio scritta a quattro mani dallo stesso
• 1:25
comecini e susu cecchi d 'amico. Signorina, give
• 1:54
my purse to the child, he will bring it to him.
• 1:56
Pinocchio's adventures in the national program,
• 1:58
then Rai Uno, from April 8, 1972, became a great
• 2:02
TV success not only for the story known all over
• 2:05
the world, but also thanks to the actors of very
• 2:07
high level. The Nutrito cast was part of Nino
• 2:10
Manfredi in the role of Geppetto and Gina Lollobrigida
• 2:13
in the cloths of the fairy from the turquoise
• 2:15
hair. Vittorio Resica played a judge, Franco
• 2:18
Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia respectively the
• 2:20
cat and the wolf. No, no, no, no. And it depends
• 2:50
only on you to make him come back to us. What
• 2:53
do you mean? Well, if you listen to me, if you're
• 2:57
good, obedient, if you go to school... Happy
• 3:03
and melancholic at the same time, the soundtrack
• 3:05
of Pinocchio's adventures was composed by Fiora
• 3:08
Enzo Carpi. Set in Tuscany, but actually shot
• 3:10
between Laci and Umbria, for Pinocchio's adventures
• 3:13
Luigi Comincini was faced with the difficult
• 3:15
problem of choosing the interpreter of the burattino
• 3:18
once he became a child. Bravissimo, continua
• 3:32
così Pinocchio, bravo! www .lexmcl .it The director,
• 3:40
in fact, decided that the role of the protagonist
• 3:42
in Pinocchio's adventures had gone to a stranger.
• 3:46
All the elementary schools in Tuscany were involved
• 3:48
and thousands of children were selected, with
• 3:50
more than 3 ,000 photos taken. Of the 700 students
• 3:53
chosen for the first selection, only 7 remained.
• 3:56
Three Pisani, two Livornesi and two Fiorentini.
• 3:59
The choice fell on the Pisano Andrea Balestri
• 4:01
for his own mission, not so much for the acting
• 4:04
skills as for the character. three rebels. During
• 4:19
the casting, Luigi Comencini invited the guys
• 4:22
to launch with conviction a hammer against a
• 4:24
picture depicting the fairy from the turquoise
• 4:27
hair. The only one not to be disgusted by the
• 4:29
gesture was Andrea Balestre. That gesture represented
• 4:32
only the anticipation of the flavors little born
• 4:34
on the set between Andrea Balestre and Gina Lollobrigida.
• 4:37
For example, on the occasion of an appointment
• 4:39
for the realization of some promotional photos
• 4:41
of Pinocchio's adventures, the actress presented
• 4:44
herself very late, not having the little protagonist.
• 4:46
and between the two big words flew. For the scene
• 4:49
where Pinocchio cries on the tomb of the turquoise
• 4:52
fairy, the father, always present on the set,
• 4:54
was forced to slap him because the child had
• 4:57
no intention of shedding tears for a person he
• 5:00
detested in his heart. Apart from some small
• 5:02
role, Andrea Balestri soon abandoned the career
• 5:04
as an actor. The interpretation in Pinocchio's
• 5:07
adventures made him one of the most representative
• 5:11
television characters of the 70s. Thank you Denzo
• 5:13
Mauri for the modern theme, see you next time.
