- 0:48Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 0:49Speaker 9: Absolutely, all times were.
- 0:51Speaker 8: Like four four five.
- 0:52Speaker 7: You're not tasting food at that to be that early?
- 0:55Speaker 9: No, because you know the girls always have to get
- 0:57Speaker 9: in there earlier to get hair and makeup done. So
- 0:59Speaker 9: you know what I did of the first season, cut
- 1:01Speaker 9: on my hair.
- 1:03Speaker 10: So it takes so.
- 1:04Speaker 7: Easy a TV anything TV or even if you've just
- 1:07Speaker 7: gone and done like a TV commercial, Yeah, takes forever.
- 1:11Speaker 9: They are lot normally about ninety minutes, yeah, or hair
- 1:15Speaker 9: and makeup.
- 1:15Speaker 8: But even I once went on one thirty minute episode
- 1:19Speaker 8: of this dating show, right, host.
- 1:22Speaker 9: Morris, I need to know more about it.
- 1:25Speaker 8: It wasn't just exclusively gay, but I was in a
- 1:28Speaker 8: gay couple on there and like for that feel about it.
- 1:32Speaker 8: It was before him, but for just this like five
- 1:36Speaker 8: minute package of us, like going on a date. It
- 1:39Speaker 8: was a whole day work filming. Oh, it's insane.
- 1:43Speaker 9: It's multiple takes, lots of different angles. They want to
- 1:46Speaker 9: get all your best shots.
- 1:48Speaker 7: Yeah, whereas radio we're just bang, we're here. It's a
- 1:51Speaker 7: minute past six, will be hit all nine and that
- 1:53Speaker 7: is in.
- 1:53Speaker 9: Are you you look at your looking very sharp today?
- 1:57Speaker 7: Have to say, my girl friend bought me the shirt
- 2:00Speaker 7: I don't know what Brandon is. It's got like the
- 2:02Speaker 7: little horse thing on it.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Do you know.
- 2:07Speaker 8: The horse thing on it?
- 2:09Speaker 9: This is the shirt that she bought for you before
- 2:12Speaker 9: you made her the brownie.
- 2:14Speaker 7: Yeah, well yes it was. It was a gift. And
- 2:16Speaker 7: I reckon she's doing you know what girls do. They're
- 2:18Speaker 7: trying to change your wardrobe. I think I think she said,
- 2:21Speaker 7: don't worry, I would change your wardrobes very slowly.
- 2:24Speaker 9: Because the eye can fix him.
- 2:26Speaker 7: Yeah, I don't. I don't care about fashion. Not sure
- 2:30Speaker 7: you've noticed, but I've got a lot of just sort
- 2:32Speaker 7: of I wouldn't say crap but there's certainly Oh thanks,
- 2:36Speaker 7: Now would you like change my wardrobe?
- 2:39Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 2:39Speaker 11: And look I got to say, since I've been with
- 2:41Speaker 11: my fiance, he dresses a lot better.
- 2:44Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm happy. Like, no guy cares. By the way,
- 2:47Speaker 7: if you care, that's weird.
- 2:48Speaker 11: Like, just let us change it. It'll make everyone much happier.
- 2:52Speaker 9: Just lean into it, let it happen.
- 2:54Speaker 11: Yeah, we're doing it for your own better.
- 2:56Speaker 7: Yeah, please change my wardrobe now, Brooklyn is whole bloody
- 2:59Speaker 7: a round kicked off.
- 3:00Speaker 8: Again, hasn't it just so? Just overnight our Foreign Affairs
- 3:05Speaker 8: Department is saying that Australian should reconsider the need to
- 3:09Speaker 8: travel to the Middle East or even through the Middle East,
- 3:12Speaker 8: so you know, doing the transfer through dough hard to buy.
- 3:16Speaker 8: They're saying, think twice about it, because it's seriously, is
- 3:19Speaker 8: just kicked off like a run I run is just
- 3:22Speaker 8: letting loose and going nah, we're not taking this anymore,
- 3:25Speaker 8: firing missiles at everyone. And Donald Trump has also put
- 3:29Speaker 8: a blockade on the straighter for mus which basically means
- 3:33Speaker 8: ail prices are going up again. We'll probably go up
- 3:36Speaker 8: pretty soon now.
- 3:38Speaker 9: Speaking of flying, an Australian ride of passage is about
- 3:42Speaker 9: to be scrapped when you've been overseas and you come
- 3:44Speaker 9: home and you have to fill out that yellow form,
- 3:47Speaker 9: which you know, I'm always really stressed out that I'm
- 3:49Speaker 9: going to like check the wrong box and get pulled intah,
- 3:52Speaker 9: you know, a holding cell or something like that. They're
- 3:54Speaker 9: not going to be around for much longer because they're
- 3:56Speaker 9: going to be switched to a digital system that's been
- 3:58Speaker 9: trialed by Quantus yes at the moment, and so it'll
- 4:02Speaker 9: be rolled out by the end of twenty twenty seven.
- 4:05Speaker 9: So goodbye little paper.
- 4:07Speaker 8: Yeah, they're ditching it.
- 4:08Speaker 9: Asking a neighbor, you know, do you have a pen?
- 4:10Speaker 6: Cut?
- 4:11Speaker 1: That's the thing, right, you never have a pen.
- 4:13Speaker 8: But I always find it sparks a nice conversation when
- 4:16Speaker 8: you have to ask for the pen.
- 4:18Speaker 7: Yeah, we're one of the only countries in the world
- 4:19Speaker 7: still doing those stupid paper things to come back and
- 4:22Speaker 7: I think so I.
- 4:23Speaker 9: Flew a New Zealand last year and they're already on
- 4:26Speaker 9: the whole digital thing. It's very strange not having to
- 4:29Speaker 9: fill things.
- 4:30Speaker 7: Out, and then that means, you know, when you go
- 4:31Speaker 7: to the front, you're still paranoid that like the customs
- 4:34Speaker 7: are going to stop you for smuggling.
- 4:36Speaker 8: Whatever you're smuggling, why would you be paranoid?
- 4:38Speaker 7: Yeah, anyway, when they look at the car, you know.
- 4:44Speaker 9: They've been stepping in creeks and rivers and on agricultural problem.
- 4:47Speaker 7: I've been in areas with a bowler, and I didn't
- 4:49Speaker 7: think that I've been in areas with a bowler. Hey,
- 4:53Speaker 7: I got something for you this morning, actually, Melissa.
- 4:55Speaker 11: Oh did you know?
- 4:58Speaker 7: Did I know that you me TV star are on
- 5:04Speaker 7: Wiki feet?

- 5:14Speaker 7: oh yeah, yeah, so you're on Wiki feet now. If
- 5:18Speaker 7: you don't know what that is, it's a website where
- 5:20Speaker 7: perverts with foot fetishers going to take screenshots of celebrity's feet.
- 5:24Speaker 1: We're about to bring them up on the giant screen here.
- 5:27Speaker 7: You're doing all right though? You've got a four point
- 5:30Speaker 7: six one.
- 5:31Speaker 11: Is that good?
- 5:32Speaker 7: Well that'd be out of five.
- 5:34Speaker 11: Yeah, that's out of five. I think that's a great score. Yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 11: lots of photos are your feet for that rating? To
- 5:40Speaker 11: get to that as well?
- 5:41Speaker 7: How don't they get the photos of your feet? Is
- 5:43Speaker 7: what I want to know.
- 5:44Speaker 9: Well, I think it looks like, oh, they must be
- 5:48Speaker 9: going through all that. That was amazing race. I lost
- 5:51Speaker 9: a toenail doing the amazing race.
- 5:54Speaker 1: Right, and they've zoomed in on that.
- 5:55Speaker 9: They've zoomed in on like my little pinky nail pulling
- 5:58Speaker 9: off the others.
- 6:00Speaker 11: Good, here's one of you doing reform of pilates.
- 6:02Speaker 7: Oh my god.
- 6:04Speaker 9: To be fair, I was very proud of that pedicure.
- 6:06Speaker 9: It was like a gel manicure with like a cat eye.
- 6:09Speaker 7: Right.
- 6:09Speaker 11: Oh, yes, explain this one. You've simply just taken photos
- 6:12Speaker 11: of your feet.
- 6:14Speaker 9: New shoes, your shoes.
- 6:15Speaker 7: Yes, how do you feel about this? There is some
- 6:17Speaker 7: pervert or a number of perverts that are into your feet,
- 6:21Speaker 7: like they are into your feet.
- 6:23Speaker 9: I how many pictures.
- 6:27Speaker 11: At this point, with how many photos there are, I
- 6:29Speaker 11: think you're baiting them. There's just a photos of your
- 6:32Speaker 11: feet everywhere.
- 6:33Speaker 9: I did not know I posted so many pictures of
- 6:35Speaker 9: my feet.
- 6:35Speaker 8: Yeah, you did, like an only fans model kind of.
- 6:39Speaker 9: Except that I don't profit.

- 6:44Speaker 7: Me, Now that you know that your feet are hot,
- 6:46Speaker 7: you could go and make some money out of this.

- 6:50Speaker 7: Yeah, well there you go. You're on a wiki feet.
- 6:52Speaker 9: Okay, that is as horrified.
- 6:54Speaker 11: Do you want to hear some of the comments that
- 6:56Speaker 11: people have left, because not only do you get a rating,
- 6:59Speaker 11: there's some comments. I'll read you some of my favorites.
- 7:02Speaker 11: Julian writes her feet are really nice and her toes
- 7:04Speaker 11: look so lovely from Dacano, her toes are oddly big
- 7:10Speaker 11: and thick for her size and not for me, and
- 7:14Speaker 11: then disappointed sour Milk said great feet just to shame.
- 7:18Speaker 11: A lot of her posts look like they were taken
- 7:20Speaker 11: with a potato. Oh so you need clearer photo potato?
- 7:24Speaker 7: So I oh yeah, rights in.
- 7:26Speaker 9: Camera buy a potato?

- 9:13Speaker 7: want to hear all about Jazz first, Melissa, let's do it.
- 9:16Speaker 9: Okay, So, hey, Jazz, you fifty one, you're a traffic
- 9:21Speaker 9: emergency patroller and you drive a care sorrento.
- 9:24Speaker 8: Oh the emergency patroller. Does that mean if someone's stuck
- 9:28Speaker 8: on the side of the freeway, you got to go
- 9:29Speaker 8: to them.
- 9:31Speaker 12: That's exactly what we do. Yeah, we get some call
- 9:33Speaker 12: to them and we can change ties, we can flat
- 9:36Speaker 12: tow them out the way, just provide cover if they're
- 9:39Speaker 12: in a really dangerous SVIP.
- 9:41Speaker 8: Do many people get out of their car like where
- 9:44Speaker 8: you know you're not supposed to write? Do many people
- 9:46Speaker 8: do it?
- 9:48Speaker 12: A couple of people do. Mostly they remain in their
- 9:50Speaker 12: vehicles because it's a safer area. Some people think it's
- 9:53Speaker 12: safer to go beyond the barrier as well.
- 9:57Speaker 9: So your advice is, if anything bad happens, sit in
- 9:59Speaker 9: your CA and wait for you to save them.
- 10:02Speaker 3: That's correct.
- 10:03Speaker 9: Yeah, Now you have a partner and you don't have
- 10:06Speaker 9: any kids, but you do have nine chihuahuas. Am I
- 10:10Speaker 9: reading that right? Yeah?
- 10:11Speaker 12: I'm the crazy Chihuahua lady. A couple of rescues in
- 10:15Speaker 12: there as well.
- 10:16Speaker 9: Yep, Okay, So what do you love about the Breeze? Oh?
- 10:19Speaker 13: I just love them.
- 10:20Speaker 12: They're so cute, they're adorable, they're very smart. But one
- 10:24Speaker 12: of them beat me on the lip last night, so
- 10:26Speaker 12: I got a bit of a bloody lip because our
- 10:29Speaker 12: two boys were fighting with each other.
- 10:33Speaker 9: And apparently I hear that you have a very special
- 10:36Speaker 9: party trick, which is rapping.
- 10:39Speaker 13: And yeah, rapping for my favorite jams hip.
- 10:43Speaker 9: Okay, can you give us a little demo? We're talking
- 10:45Speaker 9: about salt and pepper. What a man would you?
- 10:48Speaker 10: Right?
- 10:49Speaker 14: Here we go?
- 10:49Speaker 12: Yeah, okay, all right, hell yeah, all right, let's do it.
- 10:52Speaker 12: Oh here I go, here, I go here. I'm no
- 10:54Speaker 12: shying with the wrong song. I want to take a
- 10:57Speaker 12: minute or two and giving one's respect to to the
- 10:59Speaker 12: man as a difference in my world. And although most
- 11:02Speaker 12: metal holes, it goes on the down load because I
- 11:04Speaker 12: never heard about him with another girt, but I was
- 11:07Speaker 12: it because it's just pathetic to let it get me
- 11:10Speaker 12: involved in that, he said, She said, crowd, I know
- 11:13Speaker 12: there read nobody perfect. I give props to those who
- 11:16Speaker 12: deserve it and bulliet me. Yo, he's worth it.
- 11:18Speaker 11: Yeah, we.
- 11:21Speaker 7: Do deserve these.
- 11:23Speaker 11: Oh yeah, I'll be.
- 11:24Speaker 8: So demo if you don't wave now.
- 11:27Speaker 9: Okay, sorry, Zachary weighing in its seventy five killers. It's
- 11:31Speaker 9: a crazy two hour lady.
- 11:35Speaker 7: Well, Zachary, you got a lot to live up there, mate,
- 11:37Speaker 7: you work in construction, you got a partner, you've had
- 11:41Speaker 7: it for six years driving around in a land Cruiser.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Now tell us what happened in Thailand?
- 11:46Speaker 7: Mate? You didn't get into a bar and that was
- 11:48Speaker 7: quite an expensive night. Yeah.
- 11:51Speaker 10: So I didn't get into the bar.
- 11:53Speaker 15: I didn't what I see and I really need.
- 11:56Speaker 10: To go to the toilet.
- 11:57Speaker 15: I was looking for a toilet around and I couldn't
- 11:59Speaker 15: find one. So I'm not why not I need to
- 12:05Speaker 15: use a toilet and I was going to let me
- 12:06Speaker 15: and so I'm just look for a toilet.
- 12:08Speaker 7: I went at the back.
- 12:10Speaker 15: What's the man going to do? I went at the back.
- 12:11Speaker 15: There was a massive car park. It looks quite empty
- 12:14Speaker 15: to me. Then, so I'm like, oh, perfect squat overy,
- 12:17Speaker 15: I'll go to the toilet and pull the pants in,
- 12:20Speaker 15: start taking a piss, and next thing you know, you're
- 12:23Speaker 15: about seven or eight security guard run up on me
- 12:25Speaker 15: and pretty much tackling me into the ground.
- 12:28Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 12:28Speaker 16: What are you doing?
- 12:29Speaker 15: Going off at me, going berserk at me. And then yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 15: next thing you know, they asked him for a whole
- 12:33Speaker 15: bunch of money off of me.
- 12:35Speaker 7: The old the old in Southeast Asia. Yes, we've all fallen.
- 12:41Speaker 9: Pro to that all right, way I hit that problem.
- 12:44Speaker 1: It's seventy KOs.
- 12:46Speaker 7: It's the.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Were talking about that. You haven't been there?
- 12:55Speaker 17: Have you?
- 12:55Speaker 8: Broom?
- 12:55Speaker 9: Now? I have you've been there, Melissa, I've been to
- 12:58Speaker 9: Thailand many times.
- 12:59Speaker 8: That not yes, well, we all know that.
- 13:01Speaker 9: I don't believe I am the target demographic.
- 13:04Speaker 7: You are most certainly not. I mean, like not to
- 13:06Speaker 7: bring a down noted.
- 13:07Speaker 8: Have you been there?
- 13:08Speaker 7: I went there with a girlfriend bleas.
- 13:14Speaker 8: With the girlfriend.
- 13:15Speaker 7: Really and because you know, we've all been speaking about
- 13:18Speaker 7: that Australian man who's been charged over there, and that
- 13:21Speaker 7: happens in that horrible It is horrible. And I got
- 13:23Speaker 7: to say, I've been to Thailand many times. That Pataya
- 13:26Speaker 7: or Pati or however you pronounce it, the filthiest place
- 13:30Speaker 7: I've seen. And I was with a girlfriend.
- 13:33Speaker 8: Did she think of it?
- 13:34Speaker 7: Well, she'd been there before with the parents, believe it
- 13:36Speaker 7: or not. But we walked through that main street and
- 13:39Speaker 7: if you think like Patonga's fall on that Pattaya Patia
- 13:43Speaker 7: is just mental.
- 13:45Speaker 9: Thailand is a beautiful color, incredible culture, is amazing food. Obviously,
- 13:50Speaker 9: don't need to explain how great that is. It's an
- 13:53Speaker 9: amazing place. So this is just a seed the area anyway.
- 13:56Speaker 7: Let's all right, So Zachary, here we go.
- 14:02Speaker 9: Okay, Zachary the Grand Bliss X is famous for selling
- 14:05Speaker 9: what type of products?
- 14:08Speaker 15: Cold sw cream?
- 14:09Speaker 7: Hmm yeah, we'll give it that.
- 14:13Speaker 9: Yeah, so lip balms, ointments and cold sal creams. How
- 14:16Speaker 9: many people are on an indoor volleyball team eleven? Sorry
- 14:23Speaker 9: about that? That is it's actually six? Yeah, okay? And
- 14:28Speaker 9: what is a shi wi?
- 14:32Speaker 7: Yes? I got no idea, we'll give it a go.
- 14:39Speaker 15: Is a hair product?
- 14:42Speaker 9: Look, unfortunately, if you know, if a woman were in
- 14:46Speaker 9: the position that you were in, it's a device that
- 14:48Speaker 9: allows women to pee while standing up. So it's something
- 14:51Speaker 9: that people buy, you know, to use it music festivals.
- 14:53Speaker 7: And playing golf, I believe mping like old women use
- 14:57Speaker 7: it when they're out doing eight day hold.
- 15:00Speaker 8: I see.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, hey you got one mate, jazz, good luck.
- 15:05Speaker 7: Here we go. In fitness talk, what does E M
- 15:10Speaker 7: O M stand for mom?
- 15:15Speaker 1: E mom?
- 15:18Speaker 12: Equipment. I don't know equipment manufacturing.
- 15:25Speaker 1: M I don't know every minute on the minute.
- 15:29Speaker 7: So it's a workout format where you start a prescribed
- 15:31Speaker 7: exercise at the beginning of every minute. It's very exhausting.
- 15:36Speaker 8: Anyway, Hey, oh.
- 15:38Speaker 7: My favorite beer and people give me shit for it,
- 15:41Speaker 7: but I don't care. I like four X is my
- 15:44Speaker 7: favorite beer.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Yeah, at the moment I changed notice.
- 15:47Speaker 7: Okay, yeah, good, I would say I want to slab
- 15:49Speaker 7: a four X at the end of the weekly four
- 15:52Speaker 7: X is naturally brewed in what state?
- 15:57Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:58Speaker 9: I didn't even have to think about it.
- 15:59Speaker 10: Well, my beer, you know your beer.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's certainly a queenslam beer, all right.
- 16:03Speaker 7: Mighty Rewards is the loyalty program for which store Mighty
- 16:10Speaker 7: Reward Mighty Rewards.
- 16:12Speaker 14: Yeah, cool, could that's.
- 16:15Speaker 9: The Yeah, I'm.
- 16:24Speaker 7: Well done. A double pasty and see Boys to Man

- 16:39Speaker 1: Another good man?
- 16:45Speaker 7: What a man?
- 16:46Speaker 15: What a man?
- 16:46Speaker 9: What a man?
- 16:47Speaker 12: What a Maddy god Man?
- 16:48Speaker 11: Hey good, I want to take.
- 16:50Speaker 13: A minute or two.
- 16:51Speaker 12: Oh, thank you, I'm so stoked.
- 16:53Speaker 9: Who needs to go to the show where we have
- 16:54Speaker 9: you jazz.
- 16:55Speaker 8: You keep going.
- 16:56Speaker 7: In fact, instead of playing the next song, you could
- 16:59Speaker 7: be a song here.
- 17:03Speaker 12: And I'm taking my sister mel with me in ninety
- 17:08Speaker 12: five when they were here, what you've seen in did?
- 17:12Speaker 13: Yeah? Ninety five?
- 17:13Speaker 12: I think it was. I can't really remember that far back.
- 17:15Speaker 8: Oh, well, good on you that we're just as good
- 17:18Speaker 8: as it was in ninety five.
- 17:20Speaker 7: I'm sure sure, Hey, Brooklyn, Yeah, coming up? You know
- 17:25Speaker 7: how I prepared an awful dessert for my girlfriend and
- 17:29Speaker 7: Melissa tried it? Yes, yes, yeah, I bought our socials.
- 17:32Speaker 8: By the way, what do you forget?
- 17:34Speaker 7: I was terrible, wasn't it? It's your term?
- 17:36Speaker 8: I know. So the producers yesterday said, well, what can
- 17:38Speaker 8: you cook Brooklyn? Basically nothing because I'm married to a
- 17:42Speaker 8: great cook. But I said, I can make a French omelet, right,
- 17:48Speaker 8: which French omelet is very hard to do it.
- 17:50Speaker 9: It's it's one of the hardest dishes to nail because
- 17:53Speaker 9: there is literally nowhere to hide.
- 17:55Speaker 8: Yeah, it's got to be like perfectly perfectly smooth omelet,
- 18:00Speaker 8: not burnt or anything. I can I reckon, i't do
- 18:03Speaker 8: it to it. I can do it, and I'm just
- 18:05Speaker 8: going to do it live.
- 18:06Speaker 9: Let's go.
- 18:07Speaker 7: We'll got the fry pan in here and everything all right,
- 18:10Speaker 7: Brooklyn will come in next. You're on Kiss Breakfast. Good morning,
- 18:13Speaker 7: twenty past six. You got my keyth Brooklyn. Melissa Leong
- 18:17Speaker 7: is hanging out to haying me this week. Good morning,
- 18:20Speaker 7: you've got that now. Yesterday, Melissa Leong, well known master
- 18:29Speaker 7: chef judge, you got to try my dessert that I
- 18:32Speaker 7: made for my girlfriend, my brownie.
- 18:34Speaker 9: What a way to start a week at and it
- 18:37Speaker 9: was terrible?
- 18:37Speaker 7: Are you gave me a four? Which I think was nice.
- 18:39Speaker 7: You can go and have a look at it.
- 18:40Speaker 9: It was my first day.
- 18:42Speaker 7: Yeah, you're being polite. Check it out on our Kiss socials.
- 18:46Speaker 7: But Brooklyn, yeah, you want to try and impress Melissa too.
- 18:50Speaker 8: Well. Yeah, there's one thing I can do, which is
- 18:53Speaker 8: a frend shomelt. I learned from YouTube and I think
- 18:56Speaker 8: I'm pretty good at home.
- 18:57Speaker 9: Many times have you made an omelet?
- 18:59Speaker 8: I make it all the time, Like every weekend I
- 19:01Speaker 8: would make make one. So different about a French omelet,
- 19:05Speaker 8: Melissa r a French.
- 19:06Speaker 9: Omelet is it's just a dish of simple perfections. So
- 19:10Speaker 9: what do you want to see?
- 19:11Speaker 8: Green?
- 19:11Speaker 9: Actually, the perfect kind of almost a football shape, smooth,
- 19:15Speaker 9: no seams, no color at all, So it should just
- 19:18Speaker 9: be a really beautiful, even pale yellow all over, silky
- 19:22Speaker 9: on the inside, just sit on the outside, just egg
- 19:26Speaker 9: and butter and salt. So you're really leaning into the
- 19:30Speaker 9: quality of the ingredients.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Someone trick to get it right.
- 19:35Speaker 9: It's heat management, so your pan can't be too hot.
- 19:38Speaker 9: And also obviously you know it's wow, I can I
- 19:41Speaker 9: can see some you can see some heat off that pan.
- 19:48Speaker 1: It can't be too hot because you.
- 19:50Speaker 9: Don't want you know, when you're pouring in your eggs,
- 19:51Speaker 9: you don't really want to have this massive sizzle, like
- 19:53Speaker 9: loud aggressive sizzle sound, because you're going to get that
- 19:56Speaker 9: sort of more rustic golden caramelized kind of ex But
- 20:00Speaker 9: what we want here is no color at all, so
- 20:03Speaker 9: beautiful pale yellow. You can garnish with a little bit
- 20:06Speaker 9: of chibes, but that's that's really about it. If you
- 20:10Speaker 9: want to keep it very classic, that's how you go.
- 20:12Speaker 7: So it's not like the bog and omelets I've made.
- 20:14Speaker 7: I chuck everything in and then it ends up being
- 20:16Speaker 7: more like a frattata because I can't flip it over.
- 20:18Speaker 9: It all like more like a farmhousing. If you can't
- 20:21Speaker 9: flip it, what you do is you sort of rock
- 20:22Speaker 9: the pan back and forth and you know, push the omelet,
- 20:26Speaker 9: so the cooked bit of the omelet and then let
- 20:27Speaker 9: the runny part that's uncooked run onto the part of
- 20:31Speaker 9: the pan that's naked, and then just keep doing that
- 20:34Speaker 9: and get this beautiful sort of ripply, gorgeous looking rustic omelets.
- 20:39Speaker 8: What's the best just to have? So I'm just gisking now,
- 20:44Speaker 8: but I've got to say, I don't think I'm going
- 20:46Speaker 8: to be able to do this, Melica because at home
- 20:49Speaker 8: I have the gas. So no, I'm not giving up,
- 20:54Speaker 8: but I'm not giving up. But yesterday the producer said, oh,
- 20:56Speaker 8: what do you need? And I was like, oh, well
- 20:57Speaker 8: I need gas. And they're like, we can't do that
- 21:00Speaker 8: in the studio. It's too dangerous. And I said a
- 21:03Speaker 8: little bit more control with fry with electric and a
- 21:07Speaker 8: fry pan, or.
- 21:08Speaker 9: That we didn't think to try this beforehand?
- 21:10Speaker 8: Will they come this morning? Chelsea's rocked up with straight
- 21:14Speaker 8: from Kmart. She went electric in one fry pan thing,
- 21:22Speaker 8: so it's either on or off, so temperature control is
- 21:26Speaker 8: like non existent here. But it's going to do it.
- 21:30Speaker 8: Put it in there.
- 21:31Speaker 9: I'm really excited. I'm really really excited. Thank you so much.
- 21:35Speaker 8: For going in. I know it's just about a lot
- 21:38Speaker 8: of like stirring. I mean, it's too hot, it's just
- 21:42Speaker 8: instantly going. It's just going to be a big well,
- 21:47Speaker 8: I'm very nervous, like cooking for a Master Chef judge.
- 21:53Speaker 9: If we add if we add former on top of that,
- 21:56Speaker 9: does it make you feel any better anymore?
- 21:59Speaker 3: You know?
- 21:59Speaker 8: I did feel a Master Chief Judge for Okay, do
- 22:05Speaker 8: you miss Melissa?
- 22:07Speaker 11: Do I miss it?
- 22:08Speaker 9: Look? I missed the connection with the contestants because people
- 22:12Speaker 9: come on there and they hope for their lives to
- 22:14Speaker 9: be changed, and sometimes they really do get that opportunity.
- 22:18Speaker 8: Wow, feeling everywhere. Look, yeah, look at me, You're going
- 22:24Speaker 8: to be okay, okay, all right, yeah, I gets stressed
- 22:28Speaker 8: out on this show. You would have been great with that.
- 22:31Speaker 8: Did you do a lot of that just coming there's.
- 22:33Speaker 9: A lot of hand holding. I am of the belief
- 22:37Speaker 9: that if you want to get the best out of people,
- 22:38Speaker 9: then you need to, you know, feel what they're feeling,
- 22:41Speaker 9: emphathize with what's going on, because at the end of
- 22:44Speaker 9: the day. We want you to win, like Brooklyn, I
- 22:46Speaker 9: want you to win. I want you to I want
- 22:48Speaker 9: you to you know what, something delicious.
- 22:50Speaker 8: Because this fry ping just came out of the kmart
- 22:53Speaker 8: box like ten minutes ago. It's got that smell of.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah going over there.
- 23:01Speaker 9: I'm full of microplastics at this point. Anyway, we all are.
- 23:05Speaker 8: Right, okay, look at this getting there coming together. But yeah,
- 23:09Speaker 8: it's just if I put the temperature up, it's not
- 23:13Speaker 8: going to work. And if I don't do that, it's
- 23:15Speaker 8: going to take.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Here all morning. Shouldn't we come back?
- 23:20Speaker 10: No?
- 23:20Speaker 8: Look, it's almost there, to be honest, but I just
- 23:23Speaker 8: don't know how I'm going to roll this in such tiny.
- 23:25Speaker 7: You know, it doesn't have to be perfect. You saw
- 23:27Speaker 7: my brownie yesterday.
- 23:29Speaker 8: Yeah, perfect, we're off perfect.
- 23:32Speaker 9: Far is somewhere very low.
- 23:35Speaker 7: Isn't it more about like presentation completely matter? Isn't it more.
- 23:40Speaker 9: About it's the first impression you get with a dish,
- 23:47Speaker 9: So presentation, it's showing consideration for the person that you're serving.
- 23:51Speaker 8: You know what, I completely forgot to do.
- 23:53Speaker 9: What did you do?
- 23:54Speaker 8: Put in any butter?
- 23:55Speaker 7: And that's like my.
- 23:59Speaker 9: It's literally butters eggs?
- 24:03Speaker 8: Okay, I can't even blame the tools.
- 24:08Speaker 9: You are determined until I'm determined.
- 24:10Speaker 8: To eat scrambled eggs. But look, it actually looks fine
- 24:21Speaker 8: for scrambled eggs.
- 24:23Speaker 7: Scrambled eggs butter, doesn't it a bit of milk? Yeah?
- 24:26Speaker 8: It would. Do you want me to just put some
- 24:28Speaker 8: butter on the top?
- 24:31Speaker 9: Do you think it will save it? Look, I will say,
- 24:33Speaker 9: these eggs are lovely and glossy. You know you've you've
- 24:36Speaker 9: done You've done a good job there, presentation wise, we
- 24:40Speaker 9: have a little bit of you know, beautiful egg on
- 24:43Speaker 9: the edge of Sorry, I should usually we would wipe
- 24:47Speaker 9: that off.
- 24:49Speaker 8: That's so nervous. I forgot the.
- 24:51Speaker 9: Butter nicely formed curd structure which normally on the on
- 24:55Speaker 9: the inside of the omelets.
- 24:57Speaker 7: Yeah, alright, here we go. She tasted his butterless one
- 25:02Speaker 7: not too t and flavored.
- 25:04Speaker 8: M what are we giving it?
- 25:06Speaker 9: I think there's there's a nice creamy tap you you know,
- 25:09Speaker 9: you've you've whisked the eggs really lovely, so there's some
- 25:11Speaker 9: some aerration going on there, so it's light, it's creamy.
- 25:14Speaker 9: It definitely smells like that teflowing hand. That little edge
- 25:18Speaker 9: at the back of the palette that's just a little
- 25:20Speaker 9: bit bitter after that sort of rich buttery, non buttered
- 25:25Speaker 9: egg scrambled egg fixtures. So I I think I'm really
- 25:30Speaker 9: impressed with your perseverance to continue despite the conditions not
- 25:35Speaker 9: being what you were expecting, because you could have given
- 25:37Speaker 9: up and gone back to the news desk and told
- 25:39Speaker 9: us about the straight of horn moves. But we're here.
- 25:42Speaker 8: And how do I compared to Browning yesterday? Well, because
- 25:48Speaker 8: this was just pack it.
- 25:49Speaker 9: Both of them have their their benefits and their raw.
- 25:53Speaker 9: Your dish had nowhere to hide.
- 25:56Speaker 11: And I can see you so out of ten.
- 26:00Speaker 9: So I'm going to say I'll put you even with Wow.
- 26:05Speaker 9: That I will say I was really excited because if
- 26:08Speaker 9: you promised me a beautiful classic French.
- 26:10Speaker 8: Online, Yes, sorry, I want a French on one now?
- 26:16Speaker 1: Can we order one? Because this is very disappointing, I'm not.
- 26:19Speaker 9: Let's go, let's go out to brunch after this.

- 31:01Speaker 7: known judge.
- 31:02Speaker 8: You're trying to make a French really embarrassedments.
- 31:05Speaker 9: One of the hardest dishes of all time to nail.
- 31:08Speaker 7: Is it really that hard.
- 31:11Speaker 11: To get it?
- 31:13Speaker 9: Textbook? Anyway, we're talking about you, Matt.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I'll go alright on the barbecue, but not
- 31:21Speaker 3: so good on the inside.
- 31:23Speaker 7: Missus thesis so common is that that's a nice division
- 31:28Speaker 7: of labor.
- 31:29Speaker 9: You know, the stove out, the stove on the outside,
- 31:32Speaker 9: that's yours.
- 31:33Speaker 7: So many blokes cook, so many blokes will take pride
- 31:35Speaker 7: in doing the barbie. How do you feel as a woman,
- 31:39Speaker 7: Like a woman can cook on a barbecue as well?
- 31:41Speaker 9: Right, shock horror, bestus in women can cook on barbecues.
- 31:47Speaker 9: Isn't that amazing tonight?
- 31:49Speaker 8: I don't mind cooking on the barbecue, but I just
- 31:51Speaker 8: can't before the cleaning it after.
- 31:54Speaker 7: It's not that my words with a girl who got
- 31:59Speaker 7: she had a lot of stuff pain, a lot of stomach.
- 32:01Speaker 9: Put girls usually do point to this story.
- 32:05Speaker 7: When the doctor found that she had you know one
- 32:08Speaker 7: of those brushes steal.
- 32:10Speaker 18: Yeah.
- 32:12Speaker 9: Yeah, that is not the first time I've heard that either.
- 32:15Speaker 7: It's quite common, isn't it. So you've got to clean it.
- 32:17Speaker 7: But maybe we're not that steel crap.
- 32:18Speaker 9: Yeah, maybe not. Like I like to just use a
- 32:21Speaker 9: like a cut lemon over the surface.
- 32:24Speaker 11: Matt.
- 32:24Speaker 9: Do you have any any tips?
- 32:27Speaker 12: Yeah, exactly what you just said.
- 32:28Speaker 3: She us a bit of a cut lemon, give it
- 32:30Speaker 3: a bit of a vision. We're good to go.
- 32:32Speaker 8: Thro tip.
- 32:33Speaker 9: Yeah, give it a cut lemon and then just rub
- 32:35Speaker 9: it on the surface and then you're not kind of yet,
- 32:37Speaker 9: give it a little move around.
- 32:39Speaker 7: Don't clean it there.
- 32:39Speaker 8: I am scrubbing it with these brushes, like.
- 32:43Speaker 7: You just need a cut lemon. Okay, thirteen one oh
- 32:45Speaker 7: six five. If you want to have a chart.
- 32:47Speaker 9: Good morning, Tara, What would you like to talk about?
- 32:51Speaker 14: I was listening yesterday to the segment about Uber drivers,
- 32:55Speaker 14: and I am an Uber driver and just wanted to
- 32:58Speaker 14: call up with a public service announcement. Please stop sitting
- 33:02Speaker 14: in the front seats.
- 33:03Speaker 12: Hey, hey, annoying.
- 33:06Speaker 9: Give us give us your take on this.
- 33:08Speaker 14: It's like the people that stand too close behind you
- 33:11Speaker 14: in the supermarket and invade your personal faith. It's exactly
- 33:15Speaker 14: the same when we go that.
- 33:19Speaker 8: In overseas, it's very common, uncommon.
- 33:24Speaker 7: It used to be an Aussie thing. Mainly bloats would
- 33:27Speaker 7: sit in the front of the cab right after COVID
- 33:30Speaker 7: had all changed. But people have come to Australia back
- 33:32Speaker 7: in the day and they were shocked that people were
- 33:34Speaker 7: sitting in the front of the cab. But you're telling
- 33:36Speaker 7: me people are still doing it.
- 33:37Speaker 2: They're back, They're back, yeah, yeah, some of them.
- 33:41Speaker 7: Right, yeah, you know I want them to because I
- 33:43Speaker 7: think some people would think we're being polite. Yeah, we're
- 33:47Speaker 7: being your mate. We're not treating you like a chauffeur.
- 33:50Speaker 7: But you're saying, Tara, you don't want that.
- 33:52Speaker 14: Guys, it's creepy.
- 33:53Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 33:53Speaker 14: I look the way I see it is like going
- 33:55Speaker 14: to reach over and touch my leg.
- 33:58Speaker 9: The way I see the front of the car, I
- 34:00Speaker 9: was like, that's your office. Yeah, and so you know,
- 34:03Speaker 9: we pop in, we should be sitting in the back
- 34:05Speaker 9: your space.
- 34:06Speaker 8: If you're in a group of four and everyone's in
- 34:08Speaker 8: the backstell, then you got it.
- 34:09Speaker 7: It's fine, right, Always the tallest person then gets to
- 34:13Speaker 7: go in the front.
- 34:13Speaker 9: Yes, that's polite. Well, that is polite.
- 34:16Speaker 7: Yeah, all right, more of your calls coming up thirty
- 34:18Speaker 7: one oh sixty five. If you want to have a
- 34:19Speaker 7: chat and crow ATNAT, you've got to hear a celebrity gossip.
- 34:22Speaker 11: Yeah, it's lucky Travis Kelsey married a billionaire because turns
- 34:24Speaker 11: out he might have some spending issues. I'll tell you
- 34:27Speaker 11: more on that next.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Okay, celebrity news.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Oh you like that?
- 34:32Speaker 11: Guards really sad news. Yesterday Australian icon Sam Neil passed
- 34:38Speaker 11: away aged seventy eight. So we found out through a
- 34:41Speaker 11: statement on his social media account which said he died
- 34:44Speaker 11: in Sydney surrounded by his family and at the time
- 34:47Speaker 11: of his death he remained cancer free because back in
- 34:50Speaker 11: twenty twenty two he was diagnosed with this rare form
- 34:54Speaker 11: of non Hodgkin lymphoma called angio and the immunoblastic T
- 34:58Speaker 11: cell lymphoma. Then what he did was this like basically
- 35:02Speaker 11: a clinical trial, took this drug and it worked, but
- 35:06Speaker 11: he needed ongoing infusion treatment. In April of this year
- 35:10Speaker 11: we spoke about it on the show. He announced it
- 35:11Speaker 11: was cancer free, but unfortunately he ended up passing away anyway.
- 35:16Speaker 11: So yeah, he's just one of the greats of Australian
- 35:20Speaker 11: film because not many Australian film well, I was going
- 35:23Speaker 11: to say not many in that era Australian actors and
- 35:26Speaker 11: actresses made it in Hollywood like he was that first era.
- 35:31Speaker 8: My favorite MOVIEUSS of course.
- 35:34Speaker 11: So this is actually a little bit of audio I
- 35:36Speaker 11: wanted to play of him speaking of Fraser Grout, who's
- 35:38Speaker 11: a guy who speaks to people about their dreams, and
- 35:40Speaker 11: I thought it was very fitting this audio. So have
- 35:42Speaker 11: a listen to what he told Fraser back in twenty
- 35:45Speaker 11: twenty one.
- 35:46Speaker 5: I think I'd like.
- 35:49Speaker 8: A night where there's no dreams.
- 35:51Speaker 4: I'd like a morning when I wake up and.
- 35:54Speaker 9: There's really nothing on the news, when everything just turns
- 36:01Speaker 9: to go.
- 36:03Speaker 8: And there's nothing to report.
- 36:06Speaker 11: So well, I'm out of a job, basically hated Brook Damien.
- 36:12Speaker 8: Yesterday, Damien said to me because he's been trying to
- 36:15Speaker 8: not go on Instagram or anything, and he goes, so
- 36:18Speaker 8: I've got rid of Instagram. Next is I'm just not
- 36:21Speaker 8: going to watch the news. He's like, You're going to
- 36:25Speaker 8: have to watch the news in another room. He doesn't
- 36:28Speaker 8: want to know.
- 36:30Speaker 11: What personal choice for him.
- 36:35Speaker 1: I've got a lot of mates. When I was on
- 36:38Speaker 1: the weekend.
- 36:38Speaker 7: They were talking about how they don't watch it anymore
- 36:40Speaker 7: because it depresses Amy Gerard, who's back next week, same things.
- 36:43Speaker 1: She doesn't watch the news, you, Melissa.
- 36:45Speaker 9: I do. I do have it on in the background.
- 36:48Speaker 9: It's quite got to know what's going on in I
- 36:50Speaker 9: can relate to what Sam was saying, which was that
- 36:54Speaker 9: we sometimes just need a moment to take a breath
- 36:57Speaker 9: lot of but nothing bad to happen, and just to
- 37:00Speaker 9: that that's gonna happen one.
- 37:01Speaker 8: Day and if you tune it all out, you're probably happier.
- 37:03Speaker 1: Yeah, ignorance is bliss.
- 37:05Speaker 9: It can be if not for just a mere moment.
- 37:08Speaker 7: We'll rest in peace.
- 37:09Speaker 11: Sam Now Taylor Swift's now husband, Travis Kelsey has opened
- 37:13Speaker 11: up that he might have a bit of a spending issue,
- 37:16Speaker 11: so he spoke he was on his own podcast, New
- 37:19Speaker 11: Heights that he hosts.
- 37:20Speaker 2: With his brother Jasbon self.
- 37:21Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 37:21Speaker 11: Basically they were speaking about the first time you get
- 37:24Speaker 11: that big check, which we've all been there, whether it's
- 37:27Speaker 11: a promotion and you get a significant pay rise, or
- 37:30Speaker 11: maybe Melissa it was your first master chef paycheck or
- 37:33Speaker 11: Mikey your first radio paycheck, and you either are quite
- 37:36Speaker 11: sensible with it, or you just go, whoa look at
- 37:39Speaker 11: my account, And that is kind of the thing that
- 37:42Speaker 11: Travis did. He looked at his first NFL play paycheck,
- 37:46Speaker 11: which was, by the way, one point one mill in
- 37:48Speaker 11: his rookie year. That's insane. One point one US dollars.
- 37:52Speaker 9: Yeah, it was not some small potatoes.
- 37:53Speaker 7: No, and he would have been like, I don't know,
- 37:55Speaker 7: seventeen or eighteen or something.
- 37:57Speaker 11: I think maybe early twenties. Yeah, but either way, like
- 38:00Speaker 11: the secret chucking checking one point one million US dollars
- 38:05Speaker 11: at a guy that age. He has admitted that he
- 38:06Speaker 11: probably didn't spend it in the right way.
- 38:09Speaker 8: I spent all of my first check in every second.
- 38:11Speaker 1: I didn't have anything to sell for it, rent and yeah, yeah.
- 38:18Speaker 5: No, I didn't even have a guy.
- 38:19Speaker 8: I stole jesuons car. I was spending money on way
- 38:22Speaker 8: dummer than that.
- 38:24Speaker 11: So I just spent it all on dumb shit. So
- 38:26Speaker 11: is there anything you can think of that springs to mind?
- 38:28Speaker 11: Where because I'm actually, I don't know if I see
- 38:30Speaker 11: him this way. I'm really responsible with money. So when
- 38:33Speaker 11: I won ten grand once, I bought a car on finance,
- 38:35Speaker 11: and everyone who bought a car on that weekend went
- 38:37Speaker 11: in the drawd to win ten grand and I won
- 38:40Speaker 11: the money, and then everyone's like, oh, what are you
- 38:41Speaker 11: going to do? Go on a holiday? I'm like, no,
- 38:42Speaker 11: I'm putting it on my finance. And everyone's like, you're boring,
- 38:45Speaker 11: And I'm like, but money, like having debt gives me anxiety.
- 38:48Speaker 11: So did I get any lump summer money? I'm putting
- 38:51Speaker 11: it on debt.
- 38:51Speaker 9: I think that that's a that's a that's the smart choice, boring.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Are you good with money, Melissa?
- 38:56Speaker 9: I feel like you know you're still now. I still
- 38:59Speaker 9: call my mother for advice. Really, it's my money. I've
- 39:02Speaker 9: earned it. If I go to buy something significant, like
- 39:06Speaker 9: going on a holiday or something like that, I still
- 39:08Speaker 9: kind of feel like the need to discuss it with
- 39:11Speaker 9: my parents, like with my mum.
- 39:13Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 9: I don't know. It's just one of those things. But
- 39:16Speaker 9: it's trying to be sensible, but also we have to
- 39:19Speaker 9: remember to have some fun, be present. We don't know
- 39:21Speaker 9: how long we're going to be here for.
- 39:22Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 39:22Speaker 9: Yeah, so I think you've got to strike that totally.
- 39:24Speaker 11: There's always the days where you go to the shops
- 39:26Speaker 11: and you just spend money for no reason, like I
- 39:28Speaker 11: needed none of this.
- 39:29Speaker 9: I mean every time I walk into any time beauty store,
- 39:32Speaker 9: like the impulse purchasing.
- 39:34Speaker 11: Didn't you want some when you first got your radio
- 39:37Speaker 11: check or something, you blew it all?
- 39:39Speaker 3: Well?
- 39:39Speaker 7: My first like, I got a sign on bonus, so
- 39:42Speaker 7: I bought all the furniture and everything in my house,
- 39:43Speaker 7: which I think was sent sense. No, but I'd lost
- 39:46Speaker 7: a job at some point, that's it. I'd lost a
- 39:48Speaker 7: radio gig and I was like, well, I'm just going
- 39:50Speaker 7: to keep living out there, So I just lived in
- 39:51Speaker 7: this house for the all.
- 39:53Speaker 11: Credit card on creditt on credit.
- 39:57Speaker 15: But.
- 40:00Speaker 7: Paid it off eventually. I was living like a like
- 40:02Speaker 7: a baller with you do that.
- 40:04Speaker 11: But also it was ecause you were single and like
- 40:06Speaker 11: you want to still keep this house and everything, but
- 40:09Speaker 11: when people asked you how are you affording this? It
- 40:12Speaker 11: avoided the.
- 40:13Speaker 7: Radio star I have been fired fired. Hey, you want

- 43:14Speaker 8: H Look next for what next?
- 43:16Speaker 21: Up?
- 43:16Speaker 9: There's someone I need to call out on Live Bear
- 43:18Speaker 9: because she's really fired me up. It's Pauline Hanson. I
- 43:22Speaker 9: have some thoughts on her big Press Club speech and
- 43:24Speaker 9: let's just say I don't like it.
- 43:27Speaker 7: Okay, calling out Pauline. Next, right after Alex Warren on
- 43:33Speaker 7: Kiss Breakfast, Good Morning, How did you know.
- 43:38Speaker 2: We must be cultural?
- 43:42Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 43:42Speaker 9: Look, a couple of weeks ago, Pauline Hanson gave a
- 43:44Speaker 9: big speech at the National Press Club and she spoke
- 43:46Speaker 9: about multiculturalism and wanting to turn Australia back into a
- 43:50Speaker 9: monocultural society. Is what she said.
- 43:54Speaker 22: At the center of this crisis is the utterly flawed
- 43:56Speaker 22: policy of multiculturalism. We cannot be a multicultural society. We
- 44:04Speaker 22: are a multi racial society, but we must be mono cultural.
- 44:10Speaker 22: Australians must live under the one cultural umbrella.
- 44:14Speaker 7: How do you feeling about this? So, just to get
- 44:16Speaker 7: this right, your parents were born here.
- 44:19Speaker 9: No, my parents were born in Singapore. They immigrated to
- 44:22Speaker 9: Australia in the seventies. And so you know I have
- 44:24Speaker 9: some feelings about what was said at her National Press
- 44:29Speaker 9: Club speech.
- 44:30Speaker 7: Well, go for it. You got the platform you're live
- 44:32Speaker 7: on a europe How do you feel about what pulling
- 44:35Speaker 7: hands look you feeling.
- 44:36Speaker 9: Australia has always been multicultural and our society would not
- 44:40Speaker 9: be what it is today without it. And you know,
- 44:43Speaker 9: if you think about it, from First Nations history, spanning
- 44:46Speaker 9: sixty five thousand years, there were over five hundred separate nations,
- 44:50Speaker 9: each with their own traditions and languages and practices. And
- 44:54Speaker 9: so you fast forward to today and just because I
- 44:56Speaker 9: am who I am, let's talk about this through the
- 44:58Speaker 9: lens of food. Are known, you know for our love
- 45:01Speaker 9: of good coffee the world over. We have that thanks
- 45:03Speaker 9: to Italian immigrants who brought espresso machines over from World
- 45:07Speaker 9: War Two. Yesterday we were talking about how good a
- 45:10Speaker 9: country takeaway Chinese restaurant is and how did that start
- 45:14Speaker 9: the Gold Rush in the eighteen hundreds. So with each
- 45:17Speaker 9: migration that comes something that we didn't know that we
- 45:21Speaker 9: could do without. Because culture is always evolving, and you know,
- 45:25Speaker 9: look in Australia, if you have a hankering for almost
- 45:27Speaker 9: any cuisine on the planet, chances are that most of
- 45:30Speaker 9: us are within striking distance of having it for lunch.
- 45:33Speaker 9: Bun me soufle curry schnitzel yumtast so you and filter.
- 45:37Speaker 9: I could literally go on forever. But you know, obviously
- 45:41Speaker 9: this is not just about food to me, It's about exhaustion.
- 45:46Speaker 9: For those of us who are not of an Anglo background,
- 45:49Speaker 9: I think, you know, we are beyond tide of having
- 45:52Speaker 9: to justify our australianness and being made to feel like
- 45:56Speaker 9: we don't belong to the only place that we call home.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Yeah, well, I mean you were born here right thirteen
- 46:02Speaker 7: one oh six'. Five if you've got a, thought So
- 46:04Speaker 7: i'm interested in. THAT i, Mean i'm boring white guy
- 46:07Speaker 7: here when she comes out with his. STUFF i don't
- 46:09Speaker 7: agree with, it BUT i don't get like. Upset are
- 46:11Speaker 7: you upset by what you?
- 46:13Speaker 9: HEAR i am, tired you, know like you, There we
- 46:18Speaker 9: live an entire life where you, KNOW i walk down
- 46:21Speaker 9: the street on any given day and someone will, Say,
- 46:23Speaker 9: wow Your english is really. Good you still dot, that
- 46:25Speaker 9: you still get. It i'm forty, Four i've grown up
- 46:27Speaker 9: here my entire.
- 46:28Speaker 8: Life you're ON TV, tv you, know and.
- 46:32Speaker 9: To have, to you, know sort of say, oh you,
- 46:34Speaker 9: know but where are you really? From it's, like, No
- 46:36Speaker 9: i'm really from. Here my race happens to Be. CHINESE
- 46:40Speaker 9: i happen to be you, know my roots come from somewhere,
- 46:43Speaker 9: else but CULTURALLY i am about As australian as you could.
- 46:47Speaker 9: Get absolutely leave his. Place my husband's hiring having to explain.
- 46:51Speaker 8: That, yeah my husband is like his parents Are, italian,
- 46:55Speaker 8: Right and so Sometimes i'll on the radio say oh,
- 46:58Speaker 8: yeah my Husband's italian and he said to, Me he's,
- 47:01Speaker 8: like you keep saying, that But i'm Not. Italian i've
- 47:05Speaker 8: never lived In, Italy Like i'm Just, ozzy and he's
- 47:08Speaker 8: sort of it's not, offended but he, yeah it's exactly
- 47:11Speaker 8: what you're. Saying it's, like how long DO i have
- 47:14Speaker 8: to be here Before i'm just An? Assy and it's, like,
- 47:18Speaker 8: YEAH i don't think like, That.
- 47:19Speaker 7: NO i get. You we Had pauline on the. Show
- 47:21Speaker 7: we've had on the show a couple of. Times she
- 47:23Speaker 7: did say when you pressed, her she's not picking any
- 47:26Speaker 7: particular race to just have An. Australia IF i can
- 47:30Speaker 7: try and defend her.
- 47:31Speaker 8: There, yeah she's been questioned about that speech a lot
- 47:34Speaker 8: since she said, it and she's sort of saying that
- 47:37Speaker 8: she's more trying to say that she just wants her
- 47:39Speaker 8: to be An australian, value but she's still calling it mono.
- 47:43Speaker 8: Culture AND i think that's where she's not really explaining it,
- 47:47Speaker 8: well because clearly culture is food and all these amazing
- 47:51Speaker 8: things That australians really love and we don't want.
- 47:54Speaker 9: To lose it no matter where we come. From you,
- 47:56Speaker 9: know we are an inherently multicultural. Place we've just discussed
- 48:00Speaker 9: that have been. Forever but you, know the issue is
- 48:04Speaker 9: that what she's expecting is for there to be a
- 48:07Speaker 9: uniformity of of you, know the way that we look for.
- 48:12Speaker 9: Example BUT i, mean we can all agree that there
- 48:15Speaker 9: are values that we are so proud of of Being.
- 48:18Speaker 9: Australian we want to See australia exceed as we want
- 48:20Speaker 9: to See australia, Succeed so there are shared values. There
- 48:24Speaker 9: BUT i think that there's a mistake in HER i,
- 48:26Speaker 9: mean she cherry picked very specific examples of you, KNOW
- 48:29Speaker 9: i want to go back to An australia that is you,
- 48:31Speaker 9: Know Paul hogan and you, know and all of these
- 48:34Speaker 9: sort of specific examples that you, know in all, FAIRNESS
- 48:36Speaker 9: i think they are nostalgic things that she is fond,
- 48:41Speaker 9: of that she can recall from a time in her,
- 48:43Speaker 9: life but that's not an accurate snapshot of even that
- 48:46Speaker 9: particular time In australian. History like the same era Of Paul,
- 48:50Speaker 9: hogan Was Marsha, hines and Was Ernie, dingo and with
- 48:54Speaker 9: so many other things that she chose to selectively, forget
- 48:58Speaker 9: and so by not by, omitting what you're doing is,
- 49:02Speaker 9: erasing you, know the contribution of so many other cultures
- 49:07Speaker 9: and perspectives and, values and by doing, that you are
- 49:11Speaker 9: saying that we are not as.
- 49:13Speaker 7: Important all, right we're going to take your.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Calls do you agree With.
- 49:16Speaker 7: Melissa maybe you've got a multicultural background of this kind
- 49:19Speaker 7: of talk is upset you as, well because it's.
- 49:21Speaker 8: Been everywhere in the, news like this talk of a mono,
- 49:25Speaker 8: culture like hinting that that white culture is the one
- 49:29Speaker 8: that's going to. Succeed so there's so many people that
- 49:32Speaker 8: are not in that.
- 49:33Speaker 9: Girl the Whole soccero's, example you, know and then obviously
- 49:36Speaker 9: there was there was the. BACKLASH i think the soccers
- 49:39Speaker 9: is an amazing example of the difference between you, know
- 49:43Speaker 9: the uniformity that she's looking for and sort of a shared.
- 49:46Speaker 9: Goal if you look at The soccaroos eclectic from absolutely,
- 49:50Speaker 9: everywhere all gunning for the same. Goal and that's what
- 49:54Speaker 9: this country. Is we're from absolutely. Everywhere we use all
- 49:57Speaker 9: of our skills from, everywhere with everywhere we've come from
- 50:00Speaker 9: for the same, goal which is that we want to
- 50:02Speaker 9: See australia excel on the global.
- 50:04Speaker 7: Scale all, right do you want to agree With, melissa
- 50:07Speaker 7: back her, up or maybe you want to stand up For.
- 50:09Speaker 7: Pauline you can call us right now thirteen one oh six.
- 50:12Speaker 7: Five button's not we must BE i hit it twice because.
- 50:20Speaker 9: We want to hear more from you one.
- 50:22Speaker 22: Direction we must be mono.
- 50:28Speaker 7: Cultural all, right we're taking your. Calls thirty.
- 50:31Speaker 8: One we need to get a little bit of the
- 50:32Speaker 8: grab where she stumbles on the.
- 50:34Speaker 7: Word So Melissa, leong you Know Asian australian and, yeah
- 50:40Speaker 7: you've been upset by the Stuff. Paulin's.
- 50:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:42Speaker 9: Absolutely you. KNOW i was in my early teens When
- 50:45Speaker 9: pauline first sort of came onto the political, scene AND
- 50:48Speaker 9: i just remember feeling, like oh my, gosh what is
- 50:50Speaker 9: my adult life going to be like If i'm going,
- 50:53Speaker 9: to you, know feel fear in the only home THAT i.
- 50:56Speaker 8: Win she got famous for saying we're in days of
- 51:00Speaker 8: being swamped By asians that's with her. Nineties it's you, know.
- 51:04Speaker 9: She goes after different religious or racial groups over the,
- 51:08Speaker 9: years and you, know when you're in the firing, line
- 51:11Speaker 9: when it's your, history it's your, roots it. Hurts there's
- 51:15Speaker 9: a deep sadness that comes with that because being told
- 51:18Speaker 9: to go back to where you came. FROM i come from.
- 51:20Speaker 9: HERE i love this. Country the cultural aspects of what
- 51:24Speaker 9: it is to Be australian are inherent in WHO i. Am,
- 51:28Speaker 9: RIGHT i can't go anywhere.
- 51:29Speaker 7: Else, no of course. Not and we've taken your calls
- 51:31Speaker 7: because the last week it's all been about she said
- 51:33Speaker 7: she wants, monoculture not.
- 51:36Speaker 8: MULTICULTURAL i.
- 51:38Speaker 7: Stumbled, then just like following thirteen one oh six y,
- 51:41Speaker 7: five feel free to have you say you might disagree With,
- 51:44Speaker 7: melissa or you completely agree with. Her we'll go to joln.
- 51:47Speaker 9: Open forum for. Discussion you, know everybody's opinions are.
- 51:50Speaker 7: Welcome all, Right, john you're, on go for, it mate A, John,
- 51:53Speaker 7: hi how are you my.
- 51:58Speaker 5: One hundred percent behind? You? Elissa i'm a Mold tees
- 52:02Speaker 5: descendant in this. Country the, problem LIKE i, think the
- 52:06Speaker 5: PROBLEM i have With pauline is most of what she's
- 52:10Speaker 5: saying really comes over as the. Seat she's saying that
- 52:12Speaker 5: she's not really, after you, know changing the fabric of
- 52:16Speaker 5: the country and we are multi, racial and then but
- 52:18Speaker 5: we can't have to be, multicultural and she claims that
- 52:21Speaker 5: she's not targeting one individual. Culture and then she'll also
- 52:24Speaker 5: by the same, token you, know do stunts like being
- 52:27Speaker 5: the burker or you, know say That muslims are, intrinsically you,
- 52:32Speaker 5: know unable to assimilate it so that you start using
- 52:36Speaker 5: this language that, says you, know we're allowing you to
- 52:40Speaker 5: be who you want to be as long as you also.
- 52:43Speaker 5: Assimilate and what does that, Mean, like what does assimilate?
- 52:45Speaker 5: Mean what do we? Assimilate my view on the whole
- 52:48Speaker 5: thing is is that we have a. Law we all
- 52:50Speaker 5: should abide by the. Law the law should be as
- 52:52Speaker 5: thin as possible to allow for our personal. Freedoms that's
- 52:55Speaker 5: what we. Value that's what it means to be An
- 52:57Speaker 5: australian is that you can worship who you, want you
- 53:00Speaker 5: can dress how you, like you can speak whatever language
- 53:03Speaker 5: you feel most comfortable. With, ultimately people generally tend to
- 53:08Speaker 5: assimilate because that's just how you're living in a. Culture
- 53:11Speaker 5: there's no point in making an issue out of, that
- 53:13Speaker 5: and if you do make an issue out of, that
- 53:14Speaker 5: you're just sort of dog whistling for blatant racism while hiding.
- 53:18Speaker 5: Underneath that's the me of what you're trying to present
- 53:21Speaker 5: as being, reasonable and it's not.
- 53:22Speaker 9: Reasonable, YEAH i agree with you. WHOLEHEARTEDLY i, think you,
- 53:25Speaker 9: know politicians Like hanson are really good at creating division
- 53:31Speaker 9: and fracturing you, know us from each other so that
- 53:34Speaker 9: we can't bond together and realize that all we really
- 53:38Speaker 9: we want the same. Things you, know we want to Be,
- 53:41Speaker 9: australian we want to be, here will want to see
- 53:43Speaker 9: the economy. Succeed we want to see and celebrate our
- 53:46Speaker 9: sporting and you, know artistic achievements across the. Planet there
- 53:50Speaker 9: are certain fundamental things that, yes we all need to agree.
- 53:53Speaker 7: On, Yeah AND i think it's fair enough if you
- 53:54Speaker 7: don't agree with like democracy or our rule of law
- 53:57Speaker 7: and you want certain crazy laws or, something and you
- 54:00Speaker 7: shouldn't Be.
- 54:01Speaker 9: YEAH i, mean we have lost four women this week
- 54:04Speaker 9: to men who they have, known and that's tragically. Sad
- 54:08Speaker 9: One south One South asian To australians And first. Nations
- 54:13Speaker 9: can we agree that that's not? Okay yes we can
- 54:15Speaker 9: agree that.
- 54:15Speaker 8: That's Not we're not kicking all men out of the.
- 54:18Speaker 9: Country but it is an Inherently australian thing to want
- 54:22Speaker 9: to protect our women and to protect our. Children and
- 54:25Speaker 9: if we can agree on, that there are many other
- 54:26Speaker 9: things that we can agree. On our dad Is.
- 54:28Speaker 2: Australian.
- 54:29Speaker 7: Carl you want to have a chat To, melissa go
- 54:31Speaker 7: for a. Maze.
- 54:32Speaker 19: Yeah, LOOK i think there's a lot of hype out
- 54:34Speaker 19: in the media that they'll twist and turn the lot
- 54:38Speaker 19: of the words that are said out.
- 54:39Speaker 16: There.
- 54:40Speaker 19: Now for, Me i'm The european born that lived In
- 54:43Speaker 19: australia SINCE i was three and a half years. Old
- 54:45Speaker 19: but my understanding of what she means by that is that,
- 54:48Speaker 19: yes when you come To, australia you live like The australians,
- 54:51Speaker 19: basi and yes you bring your cultural, things but you
- 54:54Speaker 19: don't bring the extremisms all the bad things that we
- 54:58Speaker 19: don't want here in the. Country that's The australian ways.
- 55:01Speaker 16: That we all look after each, other you, know you
- 55:02Speaker 16: care for each.
- 55:03Speaker 19: Other you, know that's The australian. Way but that's what
- 55:06Speaker 19: she doesn't want to, bring those other you, know those
- 55:10Speaker 19: stupid you know that's from my. Country, well those if
- 55:14Speaker 19: you if you do those things in your, country that's
- 55:16Speaker 19: that's your. Countries like us will we go, overseas we
- 55:18Speaker 19: have to expect respect the laws over, there and it's
- 55:21Speaker 19: the same. Here no different that you come To, australia
- 55:23Speaker 19: you've got to respect The australian, laws not sit there
- 55:25Speaker 19: and twist it and try to make it into something.
- 55:27Speaker 19: Else and like you, said if they're going to bring
- 55:29Speaker 19: in a you, know for, instance like This sharia, law
- 55:32Speaker 19: some of them are extremisms and you, know the women
- 55:35Speaker 19: are subjugated and.
- 55:37Speaker 8: Shouldn't shouldn't she then call it mono law like she's
- 55:40Speaker 8: saying mono.
- 55:41Speaker 19: Culture so that's, unfortunately that's maybe the thing that she
- 55:45Speaker 19: may maybe has not the.
- 55:46Speaker 9: Best but, unfortunately as a politician you need to be
- 55:49Speaker 9: highly specific about how you communicate and what you intend
- 55:53Speaker 9: because you are influencing a constituency that are potentially voting
- 55:56Speaker 9: for you to be in power to Influence australia even,
- 56:00Speaker 9: more and that is.
- 56:01Speaker 7: Dangerous it's not great with her expressing herself off and she.
- 56:06Speaker 7: Specificity all, Right, maria what are your thoughts?
- 56:10Speaker 8: Here go for.
- 56:10Speaker 9: It Morning, Maria morning, morning.

- 57:08Speaker 9: like we shouldn't be, here or that we have to
- 57:10Speaker 9: justify our existence to the nth degree our entire. Lives
- 57:15Speaker 9: it's exhausting.

- 58:42Speaker 11: that we ask of men all the, time and it's
- 58:44Speaker 11: because we generally think men are, grobs so we always ask,
- 58:47Speaker 11: them you, know how often do you change your bed?
- 58:50Speaker 11: Sheets remember it went viral recently when we asked players
- 58:52Speaker 11: at THE, afl THE afl players because a lot of

- 1:00:31Speaker 11: One most of them are on the. Floor BUT i
- 1:00:33Speaker 11: hadn't changed them for, years and THEN i FINALLY i
- 1:00:36Speaker 11: went On. AMAZON i got these really good hotel, pillows
- 1:00:39Speaker 11: like the ones where when you push them they slowly
- 1:00:41Speaker 11: rise back. Up life. Changing i've got great. Pillows so,
- 1:00:45Speaker 11: ANYWAY i had to dispose of the old, ones AND
- 1:00:47Speaker 11: i did the walk of shame from my apartment down
- 1:00:49Speaker 11: to the shed bin area and ran into someone WHILE
- 1:00:52Speaker 11: i was holding WHAT i can wall.
- 1:00:56Speaker 9: The discolouration of years of sweat.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: So.
- 1:01:01Speaker 11: Quickly, no but that.
- 1:01:03Speaker 9: This is the. THING i also had to replace my pillows,
- 1:01:06Speaker 9: recently and you are not supposed to put them in
- 1:01:09Speaker 9: the red. Bins but also when you go to, Donations
- 1:01:12Speaker 9: obviously things like dovet covers and things are absolutely fine to,
- 1:01:16Speaker 9: donate but they will not take pillows because it's literally
- 1:01:19Speaker 9: years of sweat where so you Need there are obviously
- 1:01:24Speaker 9: different councils have different but you need to you need to.
- 1:01:28Speaker 9: Organize it's like goes out with hard rabbit. Rubbish there is.
- 1:01:31Speaker 11: No one in the world thirteen one six. Five there
- 1:01:34Speaker 11: is no one in the world that is not throwing

- 1:01:45Speaker 11: Weekly, NO i do, it just me And robert her
- 1:01:48Speaker 11: so do?
- 1:01:48Speaker 7: IT i think.
- 1:01:49Speaker 8: It, females would have you ever thrown away a pillow?
- 1:01:52Speaker 7: Biking my girlfriend came in and there were two on
- 1:01:55Speaker 7: her side of the bed THAT i don't Think i'd
- 1:01:57Speaker 7: changed Since i'd.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Moved, out.
- 1:02:00Speaker 7: And she bought to new. Pillows she went and bought,
- 1:02:02Speaker 7: them and she shut.
- 1:02:04Speaker 11: Out her newn away because we're very aware of the
- 1:02:08Speaker 11: ramifications of dirty sheets on the face and. Hair and,
- 1:02:12Speaker 11: yeah but the PILLOWS i need to, Go, YEAH i,
- 1:02:15Speaker 11: reckon there'd be someone out there with a twenty year

- 1:05:33Speaker 15: Say go. Ahead how are you?
- 1:05:37Speaker 6: So my question is so just a bit of a.
- 1:05:40Speaker 6: BACKGROUND i was married for twelve, years And i've now
- 1:05:47Speaker 6: been divorced for nineteen years from that my ex husband
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: in that, time my ex husband has remarried and been
- 1:05:57Speaker 6: together for like eighteen. YEARS i think that they're they're
- 1:06:00Speaker 6: recently going to be getting. Divorced, Anyway we've been in,
- 1:06:06Speaker 6: contact me and my ex a few, times caught up
- 1:06:10Speaker 6: a couple of, times AND i just want to know
- 1:06:13Speaker 6: whether is this something that's going to rekindle free, kindle,
- 1:06:16Speaker 6: sorry or is it just, yeah just something THAT i.
- 1:06:21Speaker 4: SEE i see the Movie The Way We, were WHICH
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: i can't remember that the, actor so maybe was a bitching. Yet,
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: anyway they were in love in their early days and
- 1:06:28Speaker 4: later on they met, up just like you've met up
- 1:06:30Speaker 4: and it didn't work. Out AND i need to, say
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: what's actually is the memories of what you had the good,
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: times and not about what you had the bad.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: Times so it's.
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: A soft place to for your. Understanding you're, listening which
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: he in his current relationship hasn't been. Having so you,
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: know you're the sort of becoming the social, worker the
- 1:06:48Speaker 4: nurse with the purse. Situation AND i do wonder if
- 1:06:50Speaker 4: there's a child or a connection with a child that
- 1:06:53Speaker 4: sort of also gives you something to talk about from the.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: Past, yes my son who's thirty three year.
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: Then you've got that history with that. Person it's a
- 1:07:02Speaker 4: good excuse to. Talk my feeling is be very careful
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: about falling into a trap that will actually be like
- 1:07:08Speaker 4: a mouse. Trap it will not have, long long, Termjevity
- 1:07:11Speaker 4: So i'd keep it quite. Plutonic BUT i don't feel
- 1:07:14Speaker 4: it has the success because of the feeling of seeing
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: the movie the way we.
- 1:07:17Speaker 9: Were don't let nostalgia get.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: You it is a, soldier and it is also the
- 1:07:23Speaker 4: combination of the child and the good times that they.
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: Had and he's just gone to a rough page and
- 1:07:28Speaker 4: he's just looking when you were, young we used to
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: do all this. Together wasn't a fantastic. Arfter he's been
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: for a rough ride at the, moment but it's so
- 1:07:35Speaker 4: all the glistens is not gold at fools gold all?
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: Right thirteen and one oh six.
- 1:07:39Speaker 9: Five, next up We have John. In, Melbourne, hello john

- 1:07:48Speaker 16: Help, you yeah but we've got a state election coming Up.
- 1:07:51Speaker 16: In victoria at the end of the Year and i'm
- 1:07:53Speaker 16: thinking of running as. A candidate i don't defind on what,
- 1:07:56Speaker 16: party YET but i did it really really well on
- 1:07:59Speaker 16: the council election last Year and i'm towards the end
- 1:08:02Speaker 16: of my. Career now but phill we really draw on
- 1:08:05Speaker 16: to working with community and helping to thank you one's
- 1:08:09Speaker 16: lives better. If POSSIBLE so.
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: I think you'd be better as. An independent i'm just
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: a little bit worried about your health and your blood
- 1:08:14Speaker 4: PRESSURE because i just saw a blood pressure gauge, going
- 1:08:17Speaker 4: up and the ability to be able to cope with
- 1:08:19Speaker 4: the demands of the role and the job and the
- 1:08:21Speaker 4: responsibility on. YOUR shoulders i think going to a political
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: party you may, have SUPPORT but i think a lot
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: of people will wherever, you're living will be looking for an.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: INDEPENDENT voice i think that's where your. Strength IS but
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: i am very concerned about.
- 1:08:33Speaker 9: Your health so in order to take care of, other
- 1:08:36Speaker 9: people you need to.
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: Take exactly exam and this Is what i'm a little bit.
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: Concerned about it just saw the blood pressure Gauge going
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: but he would be better as an independent rather than
- 1:08:45Speaker 4: with a, political party because you have a voice that
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: you want to talk about and that can be thrown
- 1:08:50Speaker 4: out with a, party situation did.
- 1:08:53Speaker 8: Your voice just becomes what the? Party was.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Maybe go and get a blood.
