The $88 million Charity Market Multipurpose Wharf near the Pomeroon River is 30% complete, with the main concrete structure finished and crews now pouring the deck’s top layer. Fifty-three massive concrete piles are already in place for boat berths, and a private wharf is being demolished to make way for the new 140-foot-wide facility, complete with a floating bridge for larger ships.
