The National Balloon Museum in Indianola, Iowa, is roaring back to life after a fire forced its closure — and it’s doing it with style. Set to partially reopen August 2nd, just before the National Balloon Classic, the museum will unveil a revamped welcome area and immersive Big Sky Hall featuring fresh exhibits on ballooning history in Indianola, America, and the sport of flying. Kick off the day with a ribbon-cutting at 11:30 AM, followed by a free Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony honoring Scott Appleman, David Rapp, and Bob Waligunda from noon to 2 PM.
