- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Sure, it's hell.
- 0:14Speaker 3: Welcome to the nord of an I show. I'm your
- 0:16Speaker 3: host from Shooter and ITA's Wednesday, which means our dear
- 0:19Speaker 3: friend Donny Meetcham joins us, Hey, Donnie, are you there?
- 0:22Speaker 1: Hello lower Low Wednesday.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Excited to be here? Are the fun in me? And
- 0:28Speaker 2: these celebrities are acting natty this week?
- 0:30Speaker 3: Way, I know we have a naughty, naughty show. Let's
- 0:34Speaker 3: jump right in. What time is it? My friends?
- 0:35Speaker 2: It is time?
- 0:37Speaker 3: So the top of the show I want to talk
- 0:38Speaker 3: about Britney is memoir. So there's lots of stories coming out.
- 0:42Speaker 3: We've covered a lot of them on the show, but
- 0:44Speaker 3: now reviews are coming out. I read the book and
- 0:46Speaker 3: I want to just tell you a little bit about
- 0:48Speaker 3: this book and how I feel. It's sort of like
- 0:51Speaker 3: a story of survival, a real sick, sickening tale of
- 0:56Speaker 3: fame and fortune. So Brittany holds nothing back in the book.
- 1:00Speaker 3: It's been a sweet but it's also an extremely powerful memoir.
- 1:05Speaker 3: I didn't expect this, darnay. I thought she'd have some
- 1:08Speaker 3: gossip to tell. She talks about drinking and smoking and
- 1:11Speaker 3: having sex by the time she was forty, and also
- 1:15Speaker 3: two a lot of the press is about just in Timberlake,
- 1:17Speaker 3: but that's not what this was about for me. This
- 1:20Speaker 3: was about survival. How she survived really is sort of
- 1:26Speaker 3: like a witch trial. That when she showed science have
- 1:30Speaker 3: been independent or eccentric or maybe creative or angry or
- 1:35Speaker 3: even depressed, people misinterpretated that and thought it was mental illness,
- 1:40Speaker 3: and they used this as an excuse to literally lock
- 1:43Speaker 3: Britney away. She tells a really tragic story in the
- 1:47Speaker 3: book about her parents. This is right in the beginning
- 1:50Speaker 3: of the book. On the opening page, she writes the
- 1:53Speaker 3: following quote, When I was growing up, my mother and
- 1:57Speaker 3: father fought constantly. He was an alcoholic, and I was
- 2:01Speaker 3: usually scared at home. She said that she was a
- 2:04Speaker 3: people pleasing child performer who went on to be the
- 2:08Speaker 3: main breadwinner in her house at a very very young age.
- 2:14Speaker 3: And when she looks back at what happened to her,
- 2:18Speaker 3: including lots of really ugly, ugly stories with her father,
- 2:22Speaker 3: the most chilling thing she writes, at least to me,
- 2:25Speaker 3: is when her dad turned to her after he put
- 2:29Speaker 3: her under the conservatory ship and told her quote, I'm
- 2:33Speaker 3: Britney Spears now, powerful stuff, Donnie.
- 2:38Speaker 2: It's just it's sad, and it's just we'd always felt
- 2:41Speaker 2: like this girl had been through something, like something in
- 2:45Speaker 2: her life was off. There was a reason she was
- 2:47Speaker 2: acting out. And now you're just seeing all of this
- 2:50Speaker 2: and you're going, wow, I had it. I had We
- 2:53Speaker 2: had honestly had no idea but didn't know what we thought.
- 2:57Speaker 1: The truth is even worse.
- 2:59Speaker 3: It's much worse. Yeah, it's really really squary scary. I
- 3:02Speaker 3: like that she talks about Madonna in the book. She's
- 3:05Speaker 3: very kind about Madonna, and surprisingly she's really kind about
- 3:07Speaker 3: Mariah Carey. There's a beautiful story about Mariah. And then
- 3:10Speaker 3: she talks about how nerdy she was and that she
- 3:13Speaker 3: kept all her receipts in a bowl. So she said,
- 3:16Speaker 3: I knew musicians who did heroin, got into fistfights and
- 3:20Speaker 3: threw TVs out of their hotel rooms. Not only did
- 3:23Speaker 3: I not steal anything or hurt anybody or do any
- 3:25Speaker 3: hard drugs. She claims that she kept all her receipts
- 3:29Speaker 3: because she was doing her own tax deductions. She was
- 3:32Speaker 3: the boss of this organization. Yet for thirteen years, thirteen years,
- 3:37Speaker 3: her body wasn't her own. She had to give security
- 3:40Speaker 3: guards at least two hours notice before she could leave
- 3:43Speaker 3: her home. Also, too, she adds that she went to
- 3:46Speaker 3: Alcoholic Anonymous. She was forced to go four times a
- 3:49Speaker 3: week because she was taking energy drinks, which were legal.
- 3:55Speaker 3: They were not illegal, she was taking energy drinks. It's
- 3:59Speaker 3: really a sad story, but ultimately a sort of story
- 4:03Speaker 3: of survival. I'm so pleased that she's telling this story.
- 4:07Speaker 3: And one of the really profound parts of it, as
- 4:09Speaker 3: to me, is when she talks about how women are
- 4:13Speaker 3: routinely mistreated in the music business. Had she been a man,
- 4:17Speaker 3: had she shaved her head and been a man, had
- 4:20Speaker 3: she drank energy drinks and been a man, she would
- 4:24Speaker 3: have been rewarded for this behavior. But Brittany was punished.
- 4:28Speaker 3: It really does read like a witch hunt. That they
- 4:31Speaker 3: were out to get her, and just because she didn't
- 4:34Speaker 3: conform to the way they wanted her to behave they
- 4:38Speaker 3: called her crazy. How often do we do that, particularly
- 4:42Speaker 3: with women particularly. We've got friends, We've got sisters who
- 4:46Speaker 3: are sometimes labeled crazy. No, they're not crazy, they're independent,
- 4:50Speaker 3: they're smart.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Yeah, because crazy is such an easy word to throw
- 4:54Speaker 2: on someone in, such an easy label to throw and
- 4:57Speaker 2: it's a label that will stick and be like Oh,
- 5:01Speaker 2: she's just she's crazy, Like, forget about her. She's crazy.
- 5:03Speaker 2: She's crazy, and you just let it go. Like sometimes
- 5:06Speaker 2: it can work on their favor because you're like you've
- 5:08Speaker 2: excused bad behavior because you're like, oh, they're crazy, or
- 5:10Speaker 2: other times it sticks with people like Britney, who's just going,
- 5:14Speaker 2: I'm not crazy, I'm just trying to live here, like
- 5:17Speaker 2: read for a red what they could be a monster
- 5:20Speaker 2: who does? But seriously, like an.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Energy drink, an energy drink, she just what she needs energy.
- 5:25Speaker 2: You know why she needs energy because you're oppressing her,
- 5:29Speaker 2: and also you're having her in Vegas seven.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Nights a week.
- 5:33Speaker 3: She's paying all your bills. That's how she's tired, because
- 5:35Speaker 3: she's working paying your bills. I'm gonna really think about
- 5:38Speaker 3: this the next time I want to call somebody crazy,
- 5:41Speaker 3: I'm gonna think maybe they're not crazy, Maybe they're independent.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I love that Britney talks about how eccentric she is.
- 5:47Speaker 3: She's odd, she admits it. She's a very unusual person,
- 5:50Speaker 3: but that does not mean she's crazy. She said she's creative. Yes,
- 5:54Speaker 3: she has depression, and she certainly has a lot of
- 5:56Speaker 3: anger too, but none of that makes her crazy. In fact,
- 5:59Speaker 3: I would argue, if she wasn't angry after what she
- 6:03Speaker 3: went through, then should be crazy. She has every right
- 6:07Speaker 3: to be angry about what she went through. Does not
- 6:11Speaker 3: This book is not good for justin Timberlake. It is
- 6:14Speaker 3: not good for her father, it's not good for her family.
- 6:16Speaker 3: But I would argue, not good for the paparazzi. But
- 6:18Speaker 3: I would argue the real center of this book is
- 6:23Speaker 3: about how we treat women. This is a woman's story,
- 6:28Speaker 3: and a man wouldn't have been locked up for thirteen
- 6:32Speaker 3: years in a conservatorship had they displayed the same behavior
- 6:38Speaker 3: as Britney Spears. She even talks about when she shaved
- 6:40Speaker 3: her head, and she said, after being told what to
- 6:42Speaker 3: do and how to look and what to wear for
- 6:45Speaker 3: pretty much all her life, she said, no, I want
- 6:47Speaker 3: to do it my way. And that's why she shaved
- 6:49Speaker 3: her head. It was rebellious. Wasn't crazy, It was rebellious.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Maybe this will change the way you think about Britney Spears.
- 6:56Speaker 3: I'm arguing an app whole question of the day that
- 6:58Speaker 3: Britney Spears's memoir it's really a tale of survival, a
- 7:02Speaker 3: sickening tale of fame, a female fame. In the pop industry.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Our question is will this book Do you think this
- 7:12Speaker 3: book will change the way you think about Britney Spears?
- 7:17Speaker 3: Yes or no? Go vote on at Twitter page at
- 7:20Speaker 3: Naughty Nice Rob or at Facebook page Naughty Gossip and
- 7:24Speaker 3: be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. Hey,
- 7:27Speaker 3: Donny Love, what are you working on?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Real quick?
- 7:30Speaker 2: To Brittany, it's interesting that all these stories that have leaked,
- 7:33Speaker 2: there hasn't been one about Kevin Fetterline, which we all
- 7:36Speaker 2: thought was the bad person. So it makes me think
- 7:38Speaker 2: that he's painted in a really good light and maybe
- 7:41Speaker 2: he is a good guy. So very interested to find
- 7:43Speaker 2: out about Kevin in the book.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Anyho.
- 7:46Speaker 2: So Tory Spelling now she's renting an eighteen thousand dollars
- 7:51Speaker 2: a month LA home as her strange husband Dean McDermott
- 7:55Speaker 2: visits the welfare office. So we all know there's something
- 8:00Speaker 2: strange going on with this whole split. Well, they have
- 8:03Speaker 2: broken up and Tory Spelling was living in a motel
- 8:05Speaker 2: for a while and then she was you know, couldn't
- 8:09Speaker 2: find a home. But now she's living in an eighteen
- 8:11Speaker 2: thousand dollars a month home, which is wild.
- 8:14Speaker 1: It's in Woodland Hills, which is a beautiful.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Area of Los Angeles, thirty three hundred square foot.
- 8:20Speaker 1: This is the thing.
- 8:21Speaker 2: So actually, Dan McDermott was spotted down at the office,
- 8:24Speaker 2: you know, trying to get some financial assistance. But he's
- 8:27Speaker 2: not working, so I do understand that. But we all
- 8:30Speaker 2: forget here. You know Tory Spelling, you know, is the
- 8:34Speaker 2: daughter of the late Aaron Spelling billionaire billionaires.
- 8:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I think Tory. We know Toy likes publicity. We
- 8:42Speaker 3: know Tory likes the attention here. There was lots of
- 8:46Speaker 3: rumors that she had leaked the photographs of her in
- 8:48Speaker 3: an RV in a mobile home. Let's be honest. The
- 8:51Speaker 3: paparazzi hanging outside Nobu to get pictures of Riese Witherspoon
- 8:55Speaker 3: and Angelina Jolie. They are not in the RV park
- 8:58Speaker 3: because you don't normally see so's there, so somebody must
- 9:01Speaker 3: have tipped them off. A lot of people think it
- 9:02Speaker 3: was Tory. Maybe her mom is helping her. I like
- 9:05Speaker 3: Candy Spelling. Kenny has always said that she she loves
- 9:08Speaker 3: her daughter. There was a lot of issues with money
- 9:10Speaker 3: there because when the farmer died, he left all the
- 9:12Speaker 3: money to the mom. Not the kids. But I think
- 9:14Speaker 3: that's quite normal. When my mom and dad die, God forbid,
- 9:17Speaker 3: they will leave their money to one another. They won't
- 9:19Speaker 3: leave it to the kids. Did Tory think she'd get
- 9:21Speaker 3: all the money and a mom wouldn't. No goes to
- 9:24Speaker 3: the mom and then when the mom passes, the mom
- 9:26Speaker 3: will leave it to the children. I think, who knows
- 9:29Speaker 3: that relationship can be a little bit tricky here, Tory.
- 9:32Speaker 3: I hope this is not another pr stunt. I hope
- 9:35Speaker 3: it's not. And let's remember too, she did as well
- 9:38Speaker 3: as having a very famous dad, she made a lot
- 9:42Speaker 3: of TV shows her dad shows. Her dad hired her
- 9:45Speaker 3: to be in is it nine O two one er?
- 9:46Speaker 3: Or what a Melroy's Place on? And you know she
- 9:49Speaker 3: got paid a good salary because she's the daughter of
- 9:51Speaker 3: the boss. If anybody got a good salary, it's Tory
- 9:54Speaker 3: because the dad was in charge. So where did all
- 9:56Speaker 3: that money go? Tory? I just hope this is into
- 10:00Speaker 3: another silly p ar stunt, because it almost is making
- 10:04Speaker 3: fun of us. We felt such sympathy, such empathy when
- 10:08Speaker 3: we thought Tory was broke and she has five kids
- 10:11Speaker 3: living in an RV, and oh it was heartbreaking. And
- 10:14Speaker 3: now she's jumped from that to an eighteen thousand a
- 10:17Speaker 3: month Homehow she didn't get a job? Did chew in
- 10:21Speaker 3: the lottery? Is I mum paying? Yeah?
- 10:23Speaker 1: It is.
- 10:23Speaker 2: It is a strange. Look, it's only because this is
- 10:26Speaker 2: I like toy spelling. I think she's she seems like
- 10:28Speaker 2: a really nice person, but it comes across the entire
- 10:31Speaker 2: world of toy spelling is thirsty, and it becomes a
- 10:35Speaker 2: point of like.
- 10:36Speaker 1: Oh, what are you doing?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Were you actually living in an RV? Were you actually
- 10:40Speaker 2: living in a motel with these kids? Because that's sad.
- 10:43Speaker 2: I look at it and I go, you don't need
- 10:45Speaker 2: what's five six kids? They don't need to be living
- 10:47Speaker 2: in an RV.
- 10:48Speaker 1: They need a home, They need to stable home.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And now all of a sudden, eighteen thousand dollars a
- 10:53Speaker 2: month fell from the sky.
- 10:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it feels like she tripped us, that fooled us
- 10:56Speaker 3: here and did something really cruel because there's nothing funny
- 10:59Speaker 3: about being broke. There's nothing funny about being homeless. There's
- 11:02Speaker 3: nothing funny about really worrying where you're going to sleep
- 11:04Speaker 3: each night. That's a reality for a lot of people.
- 11:07Speaker 3: So if this was a pr trick, for that Tory
- 11:10Speaker 3: did not funny at all. No, not clever, not smart,
- 11:15Speaker 3: fact really awful. Okay, moving along, Reece is acknowledging that
- 11:19Speaker 3: her son, Deacon is no longer a boy, so she
- 11:23Speaker 3: posted a photograph of her son. He is now twenty
- 11:27Speaker 3: years old. She wrote the following quote, huge birthday wishes
- 11:30Speaker 3: to my boy, Deacon Philippi actually not a boy. He
- 11:35Speaker 3: twenty year old man today. He just did some very
- 11:39Speaker 3: saucy photographs too. He was on the cover of a magazine,
- 11:42Speaker 3: Nakan in just a big fur coat. He's growing up now.
- 11:46Speaker 3: His father, Ryan Philippi delicious. He certainly looks like his daddy.
- 11:51Speaker 3: Has the body of his dad and also the charm
- 11:54Speaker 3: of his mom. I hope he's a nice guy. I
- 11:56Speaker 3: don't ever hear any drama about him. I don't hear
- 11:58Speaker 3: of him getting three. I went out of nightclubs, using
- 12:01Speaker 3: his parents privilege and wealth to get him into events.
- 12:06Speaker 3: I hope he's a good guy. And it must be tricky, Donne,
- 12:10Speaker 3: for any parent to acknowledge that the little baby is
- 12:14Speaker 3: now a grown man.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it's just wild to think that he's
- 12:19Speaker 2: twenty years old. And but you're right, you never hear
- 12:21Speaker 2: anything bad about Deacon or daughter Ava, so Reese Witherspoon's
- 12:25Speaker 2: kids just seem to be these lovely human beings. And
- 12:29Speaker 2: it also got to be hard for Deacon Moore because
- 12:31Speaker 2: Ryan Felippe, you know, he's had some negative press in
- 12:35Speaker 2: the past for you know, alleged you know, assault and
- 12:39Speaker 2: use against women, and so I think it's got to
- 12:42Speaker 2: be hard for him to read this stuff and be like,
- 12:46Speaker 2: but that's my dad, and like, how how do I
- 12:49Speaker 2: separate myself?
- 12:50Speaker 1: But also that's my dad.
- 12:51Speaker 3: Yeah, that's my dad. And also his mom is really
- 12:56Speaker 3: with this legally blunt.
- 12:58Speaker 1: It's his mom. I love this.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Okay, let's keep going. This story is wild. So Joe
- 13:05Speaker 3: Collins has beef with Harry's Styles. Explain what I'm talking about.
- 13:10Speaker 2: So Joan Collins, she's upset with Harry Styles because he
- 13:14Speaker 2: blocked her from seeing Cher because he would get down
- 13:18Speaker 2: from a table that was in front of her. So
- 13:21Speaker 2: Cher performed Believe at the twenty nineteen Mechcala and John
- 13:27Speaker 2: Collins was like, yeah, Harry Styles jumped on a table
- 13:31Speaker 2: in front of her. Rude, she said, the sophisticated crowd.
- 13:35Speaker 2: It's the mechcala. You know, it's like they're a little snooty,
- 13:38Speaker 2: a little high inside. Share gets up there singing.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Do you believe?
- 13:42Speaker 3: And then she loved.
- 13:42Speaker 2: The crowd went wild, they stood up, they were cheering,
- 13:47Speaker 2: and Harry Styles jumped on the table in front of her.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Oh and you.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Know what she paid thirty thousand dollars for that seat.
- 13:57Speaker 3: That's how much the seats on. I'm not quite sure
- 14:00Speaker 3: I had paid that. There is a question here, though,
- 14:02Speaker 3: When you go to a pop concert and somebody in
- 14:03Speaker 3: front of you keeps jumping up, is it annoying? Yes,
- 14:06Speaker 3: if you're not jumping up yourself, then it is a
- 14:08Speaker 3: little bit annoying. But I would argue if you're not
- 14:11Speaker 3: jumping up, you're probably not having a good time. In
- 14:13Speaker 3: any case, Yeah, it is Share. I mean, if Joan
- 14:16Speaker 3: had politely said, Harry, please put that nice bottom on
- 14:19Speaker 3: the seat so I can see, or do you want
- 14:21Speaker 3: to switch seats so that you can stand behind me,
- 14:23Speaker 3: I'm sure Harry would have been fine about it. But
- 14:26Speaker 3: this one, Jenkins, I love it. It is Share. Joe
- 14:30Speaker 3: would get up on the table, dads yourself, okay, quickly
- 14:32Speaker 3: before we get a break. Queen Elizabeths childhood friend is
- 14:36Speaker 3: slamming Megan Markle, saying that she feels sorry for Harry.
- 14:39Speaker 3: So Queen Elizabeth's childhood friend, Lady Glenn Kohner, believes that
- 14:44Speaker 3: Meghan Markle might have thought the royal life was all
- 14:47Speaker 3: glitz and glam before she married Harry. She's ninety one
- 14:50Speaker 3: years old and she was one of the late Queen's
- 14:53Speaker 3: maid of honors at a coronation. So she goes way
- 14:56Speaker 3: way back with the Queen and she claims that Megan
- 15:00Speaker 3: foot becoming a royal will all be riding around in
- 15:04Speaker 3: a gold coach and being treated like a movie star.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Where she goes on to say, you know, it's actually
- 15:09Speaker 3: extremely boring being a royal. Most of your days are
- 15:15Speaker 3: spent meeting thousands of people that you're never gonna meet
- 15:18Speaker 3: ever again, and you have to do it with the smile.
- 15:20Speaker 3: And she said, I feel very, very sad, and I
- 15:22Speaker 3: feel sad for Harry. So I don't like people bashing Megan.
- 15:26Speaker 3: And I think here she might have a point. If
- 15:29Speaker 3: somebody told me I was going to be a princess
- 15:31Speaker 3: a duchess, I would think of gold carriages and palaces
- 15:34Speaker 3: and tiaras. But every job, even a royal job, might
- 15:40Speaker 3: not be quite as delicious as it seems. I'm going
- 15:42Speaker 3: to say no more so I don't get in trouble
- 15:44Speaker 3: with iHeart. Okay, we're gonna take a quick break and
- 15:47Speaker 3: we will be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty
- 15:51Speaker 3: but Nice Show and Robs shooting with our dear friend
- 15:53Speaker 3: Donnie Meecham. Hey, Donnie, let's get to the polls, dug,
- 15:57Speaker 3: thank you very much. The last show, we talked about
- 15:59Speaker 3: Britney Spears saying she did not write her memoir to
- 16:02Speaker 3: offend anybody. Do you believe her? Or do you think
- 16:05Speaker 3: Brittany wanted revenge? Now there are some really really juicy
- 16:10Speaker 3: parts to this book. Did she want revenge? You want?
- 16:13Speaker 3: You think we didn't ask should she want revenge? Because
- 16:16Speaker 3: I think the answer is yes. But did she want revenge?
- 16:19Speaker 3: Let's have a look. Fifty four percent said yes, you
- 16:21Speaker 3: do think there is some revenge here. I do too,
- 16:24Speaker 3: and I'm actually not angry about that.
- 16:27Speaker 1: No, she deserves it.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yes, call them out by name, put the social Security
- 16:33Speaker 2: numbers out there, whatever you need to do.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Call them out, Donny.
- 16:38Speaker 3: You'd give out their addresses them if somebody upset you
- 16:42Speaker 3: if somebody upset you hold a grudge. Okay, don't forget
- 16:46Speaker 3: to vote on today's polker to add Twitter page at
- 16:49Speaker 3: notty nice rob or our Facebook page not only yoursip
- 16:51Speaker 3: A'm be sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results.
- 16:54Speaker 3: And now it's time for a nicest of the day.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Ah well Mauricio Emma Slator.
- 17:05Speaker 2: They made headlines because they were caught holding hands and
- 17:08Speaker 2: people were like, oh, Mauricio has already moved on, this
- 17:12Speaker 2: has gotten crazy.
- 17:13Speaker 1: No, here's why they were holding hands.
- 17:15Speaker 2: According to a source, so Mauricio now is he's on
- 17:18Speaker 2: Dancing with the Stars and Emma's is Dancing with the
- 17:20Speaker 2: Stars partner.
