- 0:52Speaker 3: I stand with Minnesota.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Enough is enough.
- 0:57Speaker 4: But First.
- 0:58Speaker 3: One Nation has emerged as the number one political party
- 1:01Speaker 3: in the country for working class people, with polling numbers
- 1:05Speaker 3: surpassing both Labor and the Coalition. The latest Sky News
- 1:09Speaker 3: polls conducted by Yugab showed One Nation secured thirty four
- 1:14Speaker 3: percent of the working class vote, compared to twenty seven
- 1:17Speaker 3: percent for Labor. And just fourteen percent for the Coalition.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Across the entire electorate, One Nation's primary vote sits at
- 1:24Speaker 3: twenty eight percent, narrowly behind Labor on thirty percent, while
- 1:28Speaker 3: the Coalition sits at just nineteen percent. Labor lead the
- 1:33Speaker 3: Coalition fifty four forty six percent on a two party
- 1:37Speaker 3: per ThReD basis, while One Nation was slightly behind. Further
- 1:41Speaker 3: behind than that fifty five forty five against Labor. Joining
- 1:45Speaker 3: me now is Institute of Public Affairs chief economists Adam
- 1:48Speaker 3: Crichton and Sky News contributor pri McSween Adam ulstar with you,
- 1:53Speaker 3: Susan Lee has a net satisfaction rating that currently sits
- 1:58Speaker 3: at minus forty percent. That is diabolically.
- 2:03Speaker 1: It certainly is diabolical. She seems to be a dead
- 2:05Speaker 1: woman walking.
- 2:06Speaker 5: I would say, just you know, the sad thing about
- 2:08Speaker 5: this is the Liberal Party still doesn't have any.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Policies so long from the last election.
- 2:11Speaker 5: We don't know what they really stand on immigration, on
- 2:14Speaker 5: net zero, on tax even.
- 2:16Speaker 1: And we've seen, of course this huge support for One Nation.
- 2:19Speaker 5: I mean, this is a political earthquake like I've never
- 2:21Speaker 5: seen in my life, probably like we've never seen since
- 2:23Speaker 5: the fifties.
- 2:23Speaker 1: You have a party. You go from five.
- 2:25Speaker 5: Percent priory to sometimes even thirty percent now and it's
- 2:28Speaker 5: been that way for five or six weeks.
- 2:31Speaker 1: This is completely devastating for the levels.
- 2:33Speaker 5: This is an existential crisis. I think they need to
- 2:36Speaker 5: change leader soon.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Try to salvage it.
- 2:39Speaker 5: It looks like it's going to be Angus Taylor, but
- 2:41Speaker 5: at least what we're seeing I think. I think the
- 2:43Speaker 5: positive thing for people on the right is there is turbulence,
- 2:45Speaker 5: there are ideas.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Now, and they're going to have to settle on a
- 2:48Speaker 1: policy platform.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Well, Prue, we are seeing an increase overall for center
- 2:53Speaker 3: right parties, even with a coalition in disarray. Some simple
- 2:57Speaker 3: maths here tells you one nation on twenty eight percent
- 3:00Speaker 3: primary and the coalition on nineteen that it adds up
- 3:03Speaker 3: to forty seven percent. And you compare that to the
- 3:06Speaker 3: left side of politics Labor and the Greens, their totals
- 3:09Speaker 3: add up to forty two percent. The coalition has to
- 3:12Speaker 3: really seriously consider forming a formal alliance with one nation
- 3:16Speaker 3: at this point, don't they.
- 3:18Speaker 6: Well, I agree, I think that they'll be done.
- 3:20Speaker 7: Otherwise, you know, they'll become just some distant memory because
- 3:25Speaker 7: they have no.
- 3:26Speaker 6: Policies they have. They're just such a mozzle.
- 3:29Speaker 7: And I think that trust is such an important thing
- 3:33Speaker 7: with voters, and how many voters could actually trust them
- 3:36Speaker 7: to have any say in running the country at this stage.
- 3:39Speaker 7: So I think the alliance between One Nation and the
- 3:43Speaker 7: coalition would be a strong starting point. But you know,
- 3:48Speaker 7: one National sounds good too. You know, do they need
- 3:51Speaker 7: the Libs because at this stage they're not a very
- 3:54Speaker 7: impressive bunch.
- 3:55Speaker 6: They have no idea what to present to the public.
- 3:59Speaker 7: They often know no policies, no options, so you know,
- 4:03Speaker 7: they're a disgrace.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Well, we've come to this position because the Leabs really
- 4:08Speaker 3: have been so confused. They've been labor lighte at consecutive elections.
- 4:13Speaker 3: They keep presenting really a shadow of labor as opposed
- 4:18Speaker 3: to a real opposition. We saw them appose fullheartedly. Took
- 4:22Speaker 3: them ten months to come to a position, but we
- 4:24Speaker 3: saw them a post fullheartedly with the voice they won, and.
- 4:29Speaker 1: They were strong then, and they took.
- 4:31Speaker 3: No lessons out of that and went back to another
- 4:33Speaker 3: election being labor lize, signing up to net zero, same
- 4:37Speaker 3: big spending promises, refusing to even talk about the so
- 4:41Speaker 3: called culture wars, not slashing immigration by any sort of
- 4:45Speaker 3: huge margin. And the Australian people have had enough. They
- 4:49Speaker 3: want to have a party that actually represents what they
- 4:52Speaker 3: want in these key policy areas.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Absolutely, and I should probably say the Liberal Party completely
- 4:56Speaker 5: ignored the IPA last year on those issues on immigration
- 4:59Speaker 5: on zero you know, we were banging the drum on
- 5:02Speaker 5: that they completely ignored us. In fact, it was one
- 5:04Speaker 5: nation that came to us and they've taken our policies.
- 5:06Speaker 5: And look who's on thirty percent prime now it's not
- 5:09Speaker 5: the Liberal Party. So we were right on that, if
- 5:10Speaker 5: I may say so. And you know, good on a
- 5:13Speaker 5: one nation and also good on Pauline Hanson for being
- 5:16Speaker 5: the bigger woman here. She's come out and said that
- 5:19Speaker 5: she'd be willing to work, you.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Know with the Liberal Party or the National Party to
- 5:22Speaker 1: form government, and yet they treat her with contempt.
- 5:25Speaker 3: Which we saw that again. We saw Zoe Mackenzie just
- 5:30Speaker 3: complete disdain for the suggestion that you would have one
- 5:33Speaker 3: nation sitting within the coalition, having ministries or shadow.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Cranly helps one nation, I think.
- 5:39Speaker 5: And also this business about getting back together, Oh we're
- 5:41Speaker 5: back together again, you know, Mummy and Daddy are back
- 5:43Speaker 5: together again.
- 5:44Speaker 1: I mean it's so elitist, and I mean for people
- 5:46Speaker 1: outside the beltway, who cares about the coalition, who even
- 5:48Speaker 1: knows what all intricate rules are. It doesn't matter.
- 5:50Speaker 5: I would have preferred them be separate, work out what
- 5:53Speaker 5: they stand for and in a preferential system, which I
- 5:55Speaker 5: know is a controversial system. But you don't have to
- 5:58Speaker 5: worry about splitting the vote on your side.
- 6:00Speaker 1: You just need principles.
- 6:02Speaker 3: Now, if only that listened to the IPA when it
- 6:04Speaker 3: came to the so called hate speech laws as well,
- 6:07Speaker 3: because that caused further fracture in the base. Now let's
- 6:10Speaker 3: go to Victoria, where a Parliamentary Budget Office report shows
- 6:13Speaker 3: the state collects the highest share of property tax of
- 6:17Speaker 3: any state relative to the size of its economy. Victorians
- 6:20Speaker 3: are being slugged with the most land tax per person.
- 6:24Speaker 3: The Allan government received sixteen point five billion dollars in
- 6:28Speaker 3: the last financial year and that is forecast to saw
- 6:31Speaker 3: further to twenty point five billion by twenty twenty eight
- 6:34Speaker 3: to twenty nine ADAM. The huge burden here is largely
- 6:37Speaker 3: due to the state's rigid land tax regime now including
- 6:41Speaker 3: the COVID debt levee, and it's why we're seeing mom
- 6:46Speaker 3: and dad investors sell up. In recent years, they've been
- 6:49Speaker 3: selling up in huge numbers because they just cannot afford
- 6:53Speaker 3: to hold property that they purchase to give them some
- 6:56Speaker 3: measure of financial security.
- 6:58Speaker 1: And sometimes even fleeing the state.
- 7:00Speaker 5: I mean, it does have fast population growth, but it's
- 7:02Speaker 5: largely immigrants for developing countries moving in and the naty
- 7:05Speaker 5: of Australians moving out. Basically that's a phenomenon in Melbourne.
- 7:08Speaker 5: But you know, the state is massively taxed. I spoke
- 7:10Speaker 5: to some former labor premiers last year and they said,
- 7:13Speaker 5: of course off the record, that this state is taxed
- 7:16Speaker 5: to the Bejesus. It cannot be taxed anymore. These are
- 7:18Speaker 5: labor people saying this, Yeah, there's a COVID levee. Still
- 7:21Speaker 5: there's the absurd fifty thousand dollars threshold on investment properties
- 7:24Speaker 5: that is extremely low. I mean, if you just have
- 7:26Speaker 5: a little cottage where three hundred thousand dollars somewhere on
- 7:28Speaker 5: the coast.
- 7:29Speaker 1: You've been hit with thousands of dollars just to have it.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And of course if it's vacant, oh, if it's vacant,
- 7:33Speaker 1: you get another tax on top of that. So it's
- 7:35Speaker 1: extremely heavily taxed.
- 7:36Speaker 5: But the main thing is Victoria is spending in five
- 7:39Speaker 5: years has gone from seventy billion dollars a year to
- 7:41Speaker 5: one hundred and seven billion dollars a year, fifty five
- 7:44Speaker 5: percent increase. So they could cut all the taxes, cut
- 7:46Speaker 5: the spending and things will be much better.
- 7:49Speaker 3: And prove Victoria is just a preview of what happens
- 7:52Speaker 3: when labor are in power and you have a week opposition.
- 7:56Speaker 3: You can be sure any labor state where the opposition
- 7:59Speaker 3: I can playly hopeless, you're going to end up in
- 8:02Speaker 3: the same situation. And the state is absolutely hooked on
- 8:07Speaker 3: these property taxes now, and the libers aren't really offering
- 8:10Speaker 3: to reverse any of this.
- 8:12Speaker 7: I've got to say, well, they know how desperately crook
- 8:15Speaker 7: the budget is.
- 8:16Speaker 6: You know this labor only knows to spend.
- 8:18Speaker 7: We've seen it with Charmers and we've seen it with
- 8:21Speaker 7: most of the state labor government governments. So it's it's
- 8:27Speaker 7: I don't understand why anyone wants to live in Melbourne anymore.
- 8:30Speaker 6: What is it offering? Because you're either.
- 8:32Speaker 7: Going to get mashettied or you know, or have a
- 8:36Speaker 7: home invasion.
- 8:38Speaker 6: You're taxed to the eyeballs. The weather's crook, no wonder.
- 8:41Speaker 7: So many of them are moving up to Queensland because
- 8:44Speaker 7: you know that's just going crazy.
- 8:46Speaker 6: Brisbane is going.
- 8:47Speaker 7: Off, the Gold Coast is going off, and most of
- 8:50Speaker 7: them have people from Melbourne because they recognize the fact
- 8:53Speaker 7: that this government has hit at the end of the
- 8:56Speaker 7: road unless they keep taxing more and more, and you
- 9:00Speaker 7: know they're not prepared to stop spending.
- 9:02Speaker 6: So what's going to happen? You know, you just empty
- 9:06Speaker 6: the bank balance?
- 9:08Speaker 3: Does that agree?
- 9:09Speaker 5: Adam just Worth quickly saying the first time in Australian
- 9:12Speaker 5: history you've got Melbourne prices houses and apartments are cheaper
- 9:15Speaker 5: than those in Brisbane and Adelaide.
- 9:17Speaker 1: That's very very unusual.
- 9:18Speaker 5: I mean, that's very strange and I think it does
- 9:20Speaker 5: reflect largely on the government, which may get sadly a
- 9:24Speaker 5: fourth term.
- 9:24Speaker 3: It's not just the land tax burden in this state,
- 9:27Speaker 3: which is enormous, it's also the changing of all the
- 9:31Speaker 3: tendancy rules and laws which make it almost impossible for
- 9:36Speaker 3: landlords to have any control over their property and again
- 9:40Speaker 3: just creates an environment where if you can invest elsewhere,
- 9:44Speaker 3: why would you invest in property in Victoria? It's a
- 9:47Speaker 3: sad state of affairs. Now let's go to the US
- 9:50Speaker 3: and a new document release by the Department of Justice
- 9:52Speaker 3: as part of the Epstein file suggests that Donald Trump
- 9:55Speaker 3: was one of the very first people to speak to
- 9:57Speaker 3: police all the way back in two thousand and six
- 10:00Speaker 3: once newsbroke of the financiers at sex charge. The revelation
- 10:04Speaker 3: is contained in a previously unreported twenty nineteen FBI interview
- 10:09Speaker 3: with Palm Beach Police Chief Michael Writer. Trump told the
- 10:12Speaker 3: police chief that Epstein's interest in teenage girls was well
- 10:15Speaker 3: known in both New York and Palm Beach. The police
- 10:19Speaker 3: chief told the FBI that Trump had called him to
- 10:21Speaker 3: tell him, thank goodness, you're stopping him. Everyone has known
- 10:25Speaker 3: he's been doing this, prue. And yet we've got so
- 10:29Speaker 3: many who believe that Donald Trump was closely linked to
- 10:32Speaker 3: Jeffrey Epstein and a regular on his island. As there's
- 10:36Speaker 3: just been so much misinformation on this topic, particularly in Australia,
- 10:42Speaker 3: I've got to say.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Well, it's an inconvenient truth about Trump, isn't it. And
- 10:47Speaker 7: perhaps Ivan knew about it but just didn't want it
- 10:49Speaker 7: to come out. That's why, in fact, he got rid
- 10:54Speaker 7: of him from Mary Lago. He saw him with the
- 10:56Speaker 7: young girls, and I think he headed out of there.
- 10:59Speaker 7: I mean, Epstein was probably in his most powerful period,
- 11:04Speaker 7: so it's probably no wonder that the police chief and
- 11:07Speaker 7: others didn't act on it. And to ignore Trump, well,
- 11:11Speaker 7: it just shows you, you know, there was actually a
- 11:14Speaker 7: conspiracy of cooperation and you know, nudge nudge, wink wink
- 11:18Speaker 7: at that period.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Adam, I'm going to be speaking to John Heinderecher about
- 11:24Speaker 3: this after the break in far greater detail. But this
- 11:28Speaker 3: is not just restricted to this issue. The reporting we
- 11:32Speaker 3: see on US politics in this country is almost uniformly putrid.
- 11:39Speaker 3: It really is. It is the worst of the US
- 11:42Speaker 3: coverage regurgitated for the Australian market.
- 11:46Speaker 1: That's very true. I think this story, I mean this
- 11:48Speaker 1: is the first time.
- 11:50Speaker 5: I was four years and it shocks me that so
- 11:52Speaker 5: many people think that Trump would have engaged in those
- 11:55Speaker 5: sorts of actions on Epstein Island anyway. I mean, he's
- 11:57Speaker 5: a teetotaler, he's never done drugs in his life. Private
- 12:00Speaker 5: life is pretty conventional and conservative by all accounts, and
- 12:04Speaker 5: this makes him look great.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I would say this is a third party policeman making
- 12:07Speaker 1: the statement. He made his call, he knew it was wrong.
- 12:09Speaker 1: So I think this week he comes out of it
- 12:11Speaker 1: very well.
- 12:12Speaker 5: In relation to Epstein Bw's you point out, who is
- 12:14Speaker 5: going to know this in Australia apart from your viewers exactly.
- 12:17Speaker 3: And we actually reported some of this last year and
- 12:22Speaker 3: we'll talk to John Heinderecher about that further after the break.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Now before you go, AUC Managing director Hugh Marx was
- 12:29Speaker 3: grilled in Senate Estimates yesterday about some of his reporters
- 12:33Speaker 3: who withdrew from the Adelaide Writers Week. Marx refused to
- 12:37Speaker 3: admit Global Affairs editor Laura Tingle or US editor John
- 12:40Speaker 3: Lyons had pulled out of the event because pro Palestinian
- 12:44Speaker 3: author Randa Abdelfhata had been uninvited. Have her listened to this?
- 12:48Speaker 1: So why did they withdraw?
- 12:49Speaker 5: Then, mister Marx, I think there would be a variety
- 12:52Speaker 5: of reasons Senator for each one.
- 12:53Speaker 1: So sick grandmother, I don't think sin grandmother was one
- 12:57Speaker 1: of them.
- 12:58Speaker 8: Their voice got a bit shy on you know, a
- 13:01Speaker 8: bit of stage five.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I mean, for goodness sake.
- 13:03Speaker 7: One would be one credible reason why they withdrew, and
- 13:08Speaker 7: that's because they were joining the boycott in support of
- 13:12Speaker 7: Randa at Delfa.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Task true is the managing director they're genuinely ignorant of
- 13:18Speaker 3: the politics around this issue or is it being a
- 13:22Speaker 3: little bit tricky there?
- 13:23Speaker 7: I think tricky is the word. You know, this is
- 13:25Speaker 7: a feral four with form. Maybe they actually did get
- 13:30Speaker 7: sick from all the bile in their stomachs. It just
- 13:32Speaker 7: all sort of happened around the Writer's Festival. I mean,
- 13:37Speaker 7: they they're so predictable, this mob, and it just shows you.
- 13:42Speaker 6: I mean, maybe we should rename the ABC to the.
- 13:44Speaker 7: Activists Broadcasting Corporation because when you look at the group
- 13:49Speaker 7: of lin, that lineup of people, you know, all of
- 13:53Speaker 7: us just look at it with a jawn to sig
- 13:54Speaker 7: if we happen to go onto the channel, because frankly,
- 13:58Speaker 7: it's so predictable now and it's really.
- 14:01Speaker 3: It's left wing and you know what, it could be
- 14:04Speaker 3: free to be left wing, except it's tax payer funded
- 14:07Speaker 3: and it has a charter. Channel nine could be as
- 14:10Speaker 3: left wing as they like ten seven. For the ABC
- 14:13Speaker 3: is funded by ours and they're obliged to be balanced.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I don't mind Activist Broadcasting Corporation. I'd say anything but
- 14:20Speaker 3: conservative that's also true. Bits, but is there going to
- 14:24Speaker 3: be any accountability because even when the coalition is in power,
- 14:28Speaker 3: they are two gutlers to tackle this.
- 14:30Speaker 2: They clearly are.
- 14:31Speaker 5: I mean, they receive a billion dollars a year or more.
- 14:33Speaker 5: I mean, I think if you're a journalist at the
- 14:34Speaker 5: public broadcaster and if the viewers know how you vote,
- 14:37Speaker 5: you shouldn't be there, right. Viewers should not know how
- 14:40Speaker 5: those journalists vote. And some of them I could say that, certainly,
- 14:43Speaker 5: not those four. I think we all know how they vote,
- 14:45Speaker 5: so they shouldn't be there, right.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I know sometimes I do wonder whether they give their
- 14:48Speaker 3: first preference to the Greens or there is a good
- 14:51Speaker 3: mystry Adam Christian pri McSween, thank you so much of
- 14:55Speaker 3: your time.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Thanks for sure.
- 14:57Speaker 3: This week we saw violence erupted Antie is Our protests
- 15:00Speaker 3: in Sydney and Melbourne. The worst of the violence was
- 15:04Speaker 3: in Sydney, where twenty seven people were arrested as protesters
- 15:07Speaker 3: defied police directions and attempted to march, leading to clashes
- 15:11Speaker 3: and the use of pepper spray. Police accused the organizers
- 15:15Speaker 3: and speakers at the rally of inciting the crowd to march.
- 15:19Speaker 3: One of the speakers was former Australian of the Year
- 15:22Speaker 3: Grace Tame, who had this to say.
- 15:25Speaker 9: We have to continue to mobilize and we have to
- 15:29Speaker 9: continue to globalize.
- 15:30Speaker 10: Say it with me, from.
- 15:32Speaker 8: Gadigal to Gaza, Globalize the indefin.
- 15:35Speaker 11: I won my time from Gadigal to Gaza, Globalize.
- 15:40Speaker 2: The inch of fin.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Joining me now is political activists and commentator Drew Pavlou.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Drew Grace Tame has defended the chance, saying on social
- 15:51Speaker 3: media and Kodia, politicians and the press can deflect onto
- 15:56Speaker 3: me all they like, but I'm not the story. Is
- 15:59Speaker 3: she right? That's true? Is the media that has for
- 16:02Speaker 3: years showered her with adulation, unfairly maligned her and tried
- 16:07Speaker 3: to make her the story.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Thanks for having me on reader, listen.
- 16:12Speaker 12: The call to globalize the interfada, in my opinion, it's
- 16:15Speaker 12: a genocidal chant.
- 16:16Speaker 4: It's a chant that calls for violence.
- 16:19Speaker 12: This was two months after two Islamic terrorists massacret fifteen
- 16:24Speaker 12: Australian Jews at Bondai Beach. They chose to so called
- 16:27Speaker 12: globalize the interfada at Bondai Beach. Fifteen people are dead
- 16:31Speaker 12: as a result. A ten year old girl was shot
- 16:34Speaker 12: in the head, and Grace came thinks that it's funny.
- 16:36Speaker 12: I think she just thinks it's funny. She's got a
- 16:38Speaker 12: bit of a smirk on hers on her face. She
- 16:40Speaker 12: thinks it's funny to joke about.
- 16:41Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 16:43Speaker 12: It seems to me like she's joking about murdering Jews,
- 16:45Speaker 12: and I think that's really horrific and really sick. And
- 16:48Speaker 12: we've got hate speech laws, and you know, right wingers
- 16:51Speaker 12: a constantly being you know, rounded up by the state.
- 16:55Speaker 12: But here you have a far left extremist calling, in
- 16:58Speaker 12: my opinion, for violence.
- 16:59Speaker 4: It's a genius.
- 17:01Speaker 12: I don't understand why these people think that they have
- 17:03Speaker 12: full impunity to just call for violence, to kind of
- 17:05Speaker 12: try egg on civil war in this country.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Well, I'm sure Grace tan would argue that to her,
- 17:12Speaker 3: it's not a genocidal chant. The argument has been made
- 17:17Speaker 3: the other way, with many people in the Jewish community saying,
- 17:21Speaker 3: really what that means to them and how they perceive
- 17:24Speaker 3: that on the elite.
- 17:28Speaker 12: I think reader, she should, I think reader, she should
- 17:31Speaker 12: try to explain to the parents of young Matilda, the
- 17:33Speaker 12: ten year old girl who was killed at Bondi Beach.
- 17:36Speaker 12: I think she should try to explain to the parents
- 17:37Speaker 12: of Matilda that this is just a normal chant, there's
- 17:41Speaker 12: nothing wrong with it.
- 17:42Speaker 4: She should try to explain to them. I think she
- 17:43Speaker 4: should sit.
- 17:44Speaker 12: Down with the parents of Matilda, the ten year old
- 17:46Speaker 12: girl who was murdered at Bondai Beach for being Jewish
- 17:48Speaker 12: by an Islamic extremist, and she should explain to them
- 17:51Speaker 12: that interfarta just means shaking off in Arabic.
- 17:53Speaker 4: It's just another term. It just means uprising.
- 17:57Speaker 3: Yes, well, yeah, many have argued that what happened at Bondai,
- 18:04Speaker 3: that alleged Islamist terror attack was globalizing the interfata, that
- 18:09Speaker 3: was that in practice. But what do you say to
- 18:14Speaker 3: those who argue that Grace Tame is being victimized because
- 18:18Speaker 3: now calls to strip her of the honor of being
- 18:21Speaker 3: named Australian of the Year that was back in twenty
- 18:24Speaker 3: twenty one. Should that honor now be removed?
- 18:27Speaker 12: Drew Absolutely, I think that honor should be removed, and
- 18:31Speaker 12: I think she should be under investigation by the authorities
- 18:33Speaker 12: for hate speech and potentially for inciting violence. She needs
- 18:37Speaker 12: to be investigated b authorities for inciting violence. I think
- 18:39Speaker 12: because you know, this.
- 18:41Speaker 4: Is such a dark time in Australia.
- 18:43Speaker 12: Fifty in Australian Jews were murdered like two months ago
- 18:46Speaker 12: by extremists who thought of themselves as globalizing the intapata.
- 18:49Speaker 12: And so when you go out to this rally and
- 18:51Speaker 12: you call for violence like that, in my opinion, I
- 18:53Speaker 12: think you need to be investigated by authorities. Right wingers
- 18:56Speaker 12: are being rounded up by the state constantly. You know
- 18:58Speaker 12: Andrew Bolt was hauled before the courts for eighteen C violations.
- 19:02Speaker 12: Well what about Grace Tame basically telling ten thousand people
- 19:05Speaker 12: at Sydneytown Hall basically chanting for in my opinion, genocide.
- 19:09Speaker 12: I think that should be investigated by authorities, full stop.
- 19:12Speaker 4: One hundred.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Now let's go to the ABC and they've had a
- 19:17Speaker 3: comedy skit that they've put to air, if you can
- 19:20Speaker 3: call it that, let's have a look at it. Here
- 19:22Speaker 3: is Tony Armstrong mocking progressive women so called allies. Have
- 19:27Speaker 3: a look at this from his new show on the
- 19:30Speaker 3: ABC called Always Was Tonight.
- 19:33Speaker 1: I'm just a huge fan.
- 19:37Speaker 3: Of what aboriginals, aboriginality. I'm an emerging ally, so I'm
- 19:44Speaker 3: just here to listen and for five, racism is gross, won't.
- 19:51Speaker 9: Forget Okay, sure, and you've said that the work and
- 20:01Speaker 9: then colonization has to begin the truth telling you what
- 20:04Speaker 9: exactly do you mean by that?
- 20:08Speaker 3: Right? We want to fix the problem if we won't
- 20:11Speaker 3: even listen? Drew such brilliant with theirs, such sharp insights.
- 20:19Speaker 3: What is clear, though, is this day and so many
- 20:23Speaker 3: of these elite activist circles have for their white self
- 20:28Speaker 3: loathing allies.
- 20:31Speaker 12: Yeah, I wonder why, I truly wonder why the ABC
- 20:34Speaker 12: have green lit the show. I mean, it just seems
- 20:36Speaker 12: to basically be an hour of sort of race grievance
- 20:38Speaker 12: mongering by Tony Armstrong every week or something like that.
- 20:42Speaker 4: It's very disturbing and I.
- 20:43Speaker 12: Think it's very sad that he displays that level of
- 20:45Speaker 12: contempt for his own supporters. I just think I hope
- 20:49Speaker 12: that people see that and wake up, because you know,
- 20:52Speaker 12: these sort of so called white allies that that you know,
- 20:56Speaker 12: join in with the cause to abolish Australia and you know,
- 20:59Speaker 12: burned down on the colony, et cetera. They need to
- 21:01Speaker 12: understand that they are basically joining into a movement that
- 21:04Speaker 12: hates them. And you can see that the contempt that
- 21:07Speaker 12: Tony Armstrong feels for his own supporters like these, I
- 21:11Speaker 12: don't know, these progressive white women who really support the cause.
- 21:13Speaker 4: He's taking the piss out of them. He views them
- 21:15Speaker 4: with contempt.
- 21:16Speaker 12: So why would you join this movement that just hates
- 21:18Speaker 12: you like I truly don't understand. This is why I
- 21:20Speaker 12: personally left the left years ago, reader, because you know,
- 21:23Speaker 12: I didn't want to march alongside people who just hated me,
- 21:25Speaker 12: just hated me so much because I was like a
- 21:27Speaker 12: white man or whatever, like they communicated as constant contempt
- 21:31Speaker 12: to me. And why would I want to join in
- 21:32Speaker 12: with people who hate me? It's just I don't hate myself.
- 21:34Speaker 12: I like life, I like myself, So why would I
- 21:37Speaker 12: join in with people who hate me and despise me.
- 21:40Speaker 3: You know what, next time you're on, we're going to
- 21:42Speaker 3: have to talk take a deep dive into going from
- 21:46Speaker 3: a leftist activist to someone who's now very much a
- 21:51Speaker 3: conservative or on the center right of politics, because that's
- 21:54Speaker 3: been a fascinating transformation. You could say, Drew, now before
- 21:59Speaker 3: you go, I want to get your Well, you're not
- 22:03Speaker 3: the only one, and a lot of people have gone
- 22:05Speaker 3: through through that journey. But I want to get your
- 22:08Speaker 3: reaction to this video featuring Abby Chatfield and her boyfriend
- 22:12Speaker 3: Adam Hyde.
- 22:14Speaker 2: You know what's cooler than hate is love? Your pieces,
- 22:18Speaker 2: you're staying on this country, your scum. It's simple bacteria.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Love is the best thing.
- 22:26Speaker 13: I love.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Abortioned and tell me how to word it.
- 22:28Speaker 2: There is just die, Just die. I don't know why
- 22:32Speaker 2: all of a sudden hating on cool.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And love is demonized.
- 22:38Speaker 7: If you can't comprehend that, I actually worry for your
- 22:41Speaker 7: brain capacity because it's.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Obviously you're not getting love if you if you're if
- 22:44Speaker 2: you're preaching this hate, when are you going to do it?
- 22:48Speaker 8: Why is it not already done?
- 22:50Speaker 4: Every day there's another happening.
- 22:53Speaker 3: It's always in cells that it's no go.
- 22:57Speaker 1: And do you.
- 22:58Speaker 3: Know what would actually make people respect you a little bit?
- 23:01Speaker 4: And maybe one is if you.
- 23:04Speaker 2: Did it is if you did it, you get heaps of.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Fan mat Oh my god, oh my god, just do it.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Just do it. There you go, just casually asking for
- 23:20Speaker 3: lonely young men to kill the president of the United
- 23:23Speaker 3: States so they will have attention from women. The same
- 23:27Speaker 3: person drew decrying the climate of hate online. It's fascinating,
- 23:33Speaker 3: really look, these are not healthy people.
- 23:37Speaker 12: If you could watch that video for the past thirty
- 23:39Speaker 12: seconds and conclude that Cali Holiday and Abbi Chatfield are
- 23:42Speaker 12: healthy people, I don't know what to tell you.
- 23:44Speaker 4: They don't look very happy.
- 23:46Speaker 12: They feel you know, they're filled with hatred, They're filled
- 23:49Speaker 12: with anger, They're filled with resentment. They hate half the country.
- 23:53Speaker 12: They think anybody who has a different view to them
- 23:55Speaker 12: is scum, like that's what they communicate themselves. And Abi
- 23:58Speaker 12: Chatfield is out there literally calling for violence. She's calling
- 24:01Speaker 12: for people to go out and murder the president of
- 24:03Speaker 12: the United States, our closest ally a democratically elected president.
- 24:06Speaker 12: So I hope that I hope that will impact her
- 24:09Speaker 12: ability to travel to the United States in the future.
- 24:11Speaker 12: And I also hope that Australian authorities are investigating her
- 24:14Speaker 12: because this is literally a call for violence. I don't
- 24:16Speaker 12: think you can go out there and just call for
- 24:18Speaker 12: people to go out and kill people and get away
- 24:20Speaker 12: with it, don't. I don't understand what's happening in this
- 24:22Speaker 12: country Rida, where you know, conservatives are so scared, we
- 24:25Speaker 12: are so worried to put a foot wrong in case,
- 24:27Speaker 12: you know, the Australian authority's got to smash down the
- 24:30Speaker 12: door and charge us with you know, hate speech offenses.
- 24:32Speaker 12: But people like Abby Chatfield, the far left are just
- 24:35Speaker 12: able to just openly call for mass murder and killings,
- 24:38Speaker 12: and they just get away with it.
- 24:40Speaker 4: It's just seen as normal. And they're still faded by
- 24:42Speaker 4: the mainstream media. You know that they're given you.
- 24:44Speaker 12: Know, prime spots at these awards ceremonies, and they walk
- 24:47Speaker 12: the red carpet and people love them, but they're treated
- 24:50Speaker 12: as mainstream, like somebody like me is seen as fringe
- 24:53Speaker 12: and I'm not calling for violence, whereas Abby Chatfield, this
- 24:55Speaker 12: you know, major podcaster. She's out there calling for people
- 24:59Speaker 12: to kill the democratic elected president of the United States,
- 25:01Speaker 12: and apparently that's normal.
- 25:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't think she's called for mass murder, but
- 25:05Speaker 3: she's certainly there in that clip did call and very
- 25:09Speaker 3: specifically even encouraged so called in cells to target the
- 25:14Speaker 3: US president, to assassinate the US president, And that video
- 25:18Speaker 3: got all sorts of well, that got all sorts of
- 25:21Speaker 3: media coverage, and yet I doubt there's been any sort
- 25:26Speaker 3: of formal investigation by authorities anywhere. So you're right, there
- 25:31Speaker 3: is certainly two tier policing happening in Australia, and that's
- 25:35Speaker 3: not part of a healthy system. Drew Pavlu, thank you
- 25:39Speaker 3: so much for your time tonight. Coming up, Left is
- 25:43Speaker 3: Losing It plus all the latest from the US, including
- 25:46Speaker 3: Donald Trump's role in taking down Jeffrey Epstein. John Heinderaker
- 25:51Speaker 3: joins me. Next, you're watching the Rate of Panehy show,
- 26:04Speaker 3: and it's time for lifties Losing It and let's have
- 26:07Speaker 3: a little celebrity Cyllindus starting with alleged comic Chelsea Handler,
- 26:12Speaker 3: who is urging her followers to boycott Amazon and other
- 26:16Speaker 3: companies She says profit from ICE. But a team are
- 26:20Speaker 3: still using Amazon, just not as much as they used.
- 26:24Speaker 14: I can't say we never use it, but we have
- 26:26Speaker 14: reduced our use a lot. All of the actions that
- 26:29Speaker 14: we can take to make this a more healthy, loving
- 26:32Speaker 14: country in this moment are worthwhile. I understand not everyone
- 26:36Speaker 14: is in the same position I'm in, but we can
- 26:38Speaker 14: all do things to make sure that these companies are
- 26:41Speaker 14: not profiting off of ICE. I deleted Spotify, I downloaded
- 26:45Speaker 14: Koko Buzz, that's my music app. You can get rid
- 26:47Speaker 14: of Apple, you can get rid of Amazon. You can
- 26:50Speaker 14: make sure that these companies actually heal an impact. I
- 26:53Speaker 14: want people who are ethical, I want to express compassion.
- 26:56Speaker 14: I want people to feel loved and safe in this country.
- 27:01Speaker 3: You know, Chelsea, people should feel safe in America, and
- 27:04Speaker 3: most sane, rational folk do because they don't go around
- 27:09Speaker 3: attacking ICE agents. And the statistics show Americans are a
- 27:13Speaker 3: lot safer today than they were before Trump's second term.
- 27:17Speaker 3: In the past year, the murder rate has dropped dramatically,
- 27:20Speaker 3: around twenty percent, the largest single year drop recorded. Other
- 27:25Speaker 3: serious crime categories are also down. You think Chelsea would
- 27:29Speaker 3: be happy about that, but she is a miserable awful
- 27:32Speaker 3: that's an affluent white female leftist, just like this next actress,
- 27:37Speaker 3: Julia Luis Dreyfus, I stand with Minnesota.
- 27:42Speaker 9: Enough is enough.
- 27:44Speaker 3: You know, we loved her as Elaine in Seinfeld and
- 27:47Speaker 3: Selena Myers in Beef, But awful Julia is just awful.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Now to today's hearings at the House Homeland Security Committee,
- 27:56Speaker 3: and this is important to point out a lot of
- 27:58Speaker 3: people don't know this. Sanctuary cities are forcing ICE to
- 28:03Speaker 3: operate in hostile environments instead of simply allowing them to
- 28:07Speaker 3: go into prisons in sanctuary cities and take into custody
- 28:11Speaker 3: illegal immigrants who have been convicted of crimes in America?
- 28:15Speaker 13: Is it true that you would rather send your officers
- 28:18Speaker 13: into a jail to get some of these illegal alien criminals?
- 28:23Speaker 13: Is it safer for your agents and also the illegal
- 28:26Speaker 13: alien criminal if your officers are able to go into
- 28:29Speaker 13: a jail instead of having to go out and find them.
- 28:31Speaker 2: On the street.
- 28:33Speaker 13: Mister Lions, I'll start with.
- 28:34Speaker 2: You, yes, sir, would be.
- 28:35Speaker 15: You wouldn't se the amount law enforcement officers involved in
- 28:37Speaker 15: immigration operations.
- 28:39Speaker 3: Now even CNN. CNN has pointed this fact out. Here
- 28:43Speaker 3: is Minneapolis met Jacob Fray being asked why they have
- 28:48Speaker 3: changed the rules that were abiding by under Democrat presidents.
- 28:52Speaker 16: It is worth noting that during the Obama years, the
- 28:56Speaker 16: Hennepin County Jail actually had a policy where they let
- 28:58Speaker 16: an ICE agent keep an off there and allowed them
- 29:01Speaker 16: to talk to immigrants. So the policy has clearly been
- 29:06Speaker 16: under a Democratic president. What now the Trump administration is
- 29:10Speaker 16: asking for? I mean, big picture, do you think it's
- 29:14Speaker 16: good policy for the jails to follow an ICE detainer
- 29:19Speaker 16: and hand someone over if they've committed a crime. And again,
- 29:21Speaker 16: this only happens after they've served their time, you know,
- 29:25Speaker 16: for whatever crime they may have committed against the people
- 29:28Speaker 16: of Minnesota.
- 29:31Speaker 15: I mean, look, you're asking all the right questions here,
- 29:34Speaker 15: and while I don't have full expertise in how the
- 29:38Speaker 15: operations that the jail are conducted, again, that's not our jurisdiction.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Utterly hopeless. He is either lying or in it. There
- 29:46Speaker 3: are no other options at this point. Now back to
- 29:49Speaker 3: today's hearings at the House Homeland Security Committee and what's
- 29:53Speaker 3: the acting as director absolutely school, Eric bangfang Swolwell.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Alliance, you resign from ICE, No, sir, I won't.
- 30:02Speaker 10: Why not?
- 30:03Speaker 8: Because, sir, that child that you're showing right there, the
- 30:05Speaker 8: men and women advice took care.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Of him when his father abandoned him in real time
- 30:10Speaker 4: has expired.
- 30:10Speaker 10: You never should have.
- 30:11Speaker 4: Government's time has expired.
- 30:12Speaker 3: But if you thought the Democrats had hit rock bottom
- 30:15Speaker 3: with Eric there, well have a look at what happens
- 30:18Speaker 3: when they hit rock bottom and start digging. That's when
- 30:21Speaker 3: you get a representative like a La Monika MacIvor asking
- 30:26Speaker 3: questions like this or should that be oxing?
- 30:30Speaker 11: Let me ask you some questions that you may be
- 30:32Speaker 11: able to answer. Mister Lions, do you consider yourself a
- 30:35Speaker 11: religious man. Oh yes, okay, well, how do you think
- 30:40Speaker 11: judgment day will work for you with so much blood
- 30:43Speaker 11: on your hands.
- 30:45Speaker 4: I'm not going to entertain that question.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Okay, of course not.
- 30:47Speaker 11: Do you think you're going to hell?
- 30:49Speaker 4: Mister Lions, I'm not going to end.
- 30:52Speaker 17: How many government general lady will suspend, General lady will
- 30:55Speaker 17: suspend chairman as a general lady will suspend.
- 30:59Speaker 3: Calling her a gentle lady is interesting. Last time I
- 31:02Speaker 3: heard about La Monica, she was being indicted for assaulting,
- 31:06Speaker 3: allegedly assaulting DHS agents gentle lady. Indeed, now after that
- 31:12Speaker 3: unhinged question, she was gently reminded of the standards she's
- 31:17Speaker 3: expected to uphold. It did not go well, thank you.
- 31:21Speaker 17: While vigorous disagreement is part of the legislative process, members
- 31:25Speaker 17: are reminded that we must adhere to establish standards of
- 31:27Speaker 17: decorum in debate. The witnesses are here voluntarily, and I
- 31:31Speaker 17: will continue continue to remind members that while oversight is important,
- 31:35Speaker 17: aggressively attacking those witnesses personally is inappropriate and not in
- 31:40Speaker 17: keeping with the traditions of our committee.
- 31:41Speaker 11: Mister Sherman, I'm just asking a question. All you guys
- 31:45Speaker 11: are always talking about religion here in the Bible.
- 31:47Speaker 4: I mean, it's okay for me to ask a question.
- 31:49Speaker 3: Mary, She's just asking questions, y'all. Let's bring in the
- 31:53Speaker 3: center of the American Experiment, president and co founder of
- 31:57Speaker 3: the popular power Line blog, John hein Ega. John, the
- 32:01Speaker 3: Democrats are not sending their best. That question to the
- 32:05Speaker 3: Acting Director of US Immigration and Custom Enforcement, Todd Lines
- 32:08Speaker 3: was appalling.
- 32:11Speaker 8: Well, as you said, Rita, it was completely unhinged. I
- 32:15Speaker 8: suppose if you were to look on the bright side,
- 32:17Speaker 8: you could say, it's kind of nice to know there's
- 32:19Speaker 8: a few Democrats left who still believe in heaven and hell,
- 32:22Speaker 8: I didn't think there were any. But yeah, that was
- 32:25Speaker 8: a completely appalling question that I'm sure has never been
- 32:29Speaker 8: asked before in a congressional committee. Hearing it's just absurd.
- 32:37Speaker 3: I was shocked, and it's hard to shock me now
- 32:40Speaker 3: because I've been witnessing the squad's antiques for several years
- 32:43Speaker 3: and any sort of attention seeking you could expect from
- 32:47Speaker 3: those ladies. But yeah, this is a new contender. Now,
- 32:50Speaker 3: let's stay with the increasingly radical Democrats. This is the
- 32:54Speaker 3: minority leader of the Democrats in the Texas House, Jean
- 32:58Speaker 3: Wu and correct me if I'm wrong here, but he
- 33:02Speaker 3: seems to be advocating for some sort of race war
- 33:05Speaker 3: against white people.
- 33:08Speaker 18: I always tell people, the day the Latino, African, American,
- 33:12Speaker 18: Asian and other communities realize that they are that they
- 33:17Speaker 18: share the same oppressor is the day we start winning
- 33:20Speaker 18: because we are the majority in this country. Now are
- 33:24Speaker 18: we have the ability to take over this country and
- 33:26Speaker 18: to do what is needed for everyone and to make
- 33:29Speaker 18: things fair. But the pulemb is our communities are divided,
- 33:33Speaker 18: They're completely divided.
- 33:36Speaker 3: We have the ability to take over the country. John,
- 33:40Speaker 3: what do you make of that sort of rhetoric.
- 33:44Speaker 8: Well, that kind of racism is really anesthetical to the
- 33:47Speaker 8: American ideal and to American history. And by the way,
- 33:50Speaker 8: whites are still a clear majority in the United States.
- 33:53Speaker 8: I'm not sure what he's talking about. And he's right
- 33:57Speaker 8: to the extent that he says that the idea of
- 34:00Speaker 8: a minority coalition is really a fantasy. If you look
- 34:04Speaker 8: at the twenty twenty four election, President Trump's best demographic
- 34:09Speaker 8: was American Indians, his second best demographic was Asians, and
- 34:14Speaker 8: he virtually tied with Kamala Harris with Hispanics. And so
- 34:20Speaker 8: the good news readA, is that most minority voters in
- 34:24Speaker 8: America are not falling for this kind of racist nonsense.
- 34:30Speaker 3: Well, that is an excellent point, because Trump has been
- 34:33Speaker 3: so successful in fracturing some of those voter blocks that
- 34:38Speaker 3: the Democrats have almost taken for granted. They've just assumed
- 34:42Speaker 3: if you're a minority, if you're Hispanic, if you're of
- 34:46Speaker 3: any sort of racial background that's a minority in America,
- 34:50Speaker 3: you must vote for the Democrats. And Donald Trump has
- 34:52Speaker 3: proved that's not the case.
- 34:54Speaker 6: John.
- 34:56Speaker 8: And one of the reasons REATA is because Hispanics who
- 34:59Speaker 8: are citizens, really don't like illegal immigration, and that's been
- 35:03Speaker 8: a very powerful issue, not on the Democrats side, but
- 35:06Speaker 8: on the Republican side.
- 35:09Speaker 3: And Hispanics and many other migrant groups, John, are socially conservative,
- 35:15Speaker 3: They are family orientated, they are very socially conservative, and
- 35:19Speaker 3: with the Democrats getting increasingly radical, particularly with their transagenda,
- 35:25Speaker 3: it's very easy for the Republicans to appeal to those
- 35:28Speaker 3: sorts of voters.
- 35:29Speaker 6: John.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Let's turn our attention now to the latest revelations from
- 35:33Speaker 3: the Epstein files. A newly released FBI documents show Donald
- 35:37Speaker 3: Trump personally called the police chief in Palm Beach, Florida
- 35:41Speaker 3: back in two thousand and six to thank him for
- 35:44Speaker 3: investigating Jeffrey Epstein and told him to focus on the
- 35:47Speaker 3: disgraced financiers' evil accomplice. Evil being a quote there. Gilaine Maxwell,
- 35:53Speaker 3: ABC reports, the former Palm Beach police chief who investigated
- 35:58Speaker 3: Jeffrey Epstein, told the FBI he had received a call
- 36:01Speaker 3: from Donald Trump in two thousand and six, saying, thank goodness,
- 36:06Speaker 3: you're stopping him. Everyone has known he's been doing this.
- 36:10Speaker 3: And John, we're talking about a period here before Epstein
- 36:14Speaker 3: was charged and convicted.
- 36:16Speaker 8: Yeah, that quote is from an interview in twenty nineteen
- 36:20Speaker 8: that the Palm Beach chief of police related to an
- 36:24Speaker 8: FBI agent when the FBI was investigating Epstein, and credited
- 36:28Speaker 8: Donald Trump with having called him in two thousand and six,
- 36:31Speaker 8: very early in this whole story, saying, well, thank goodness,
- 36:34Speaker 8: you're going after this guy, and you should go after
- 36:36Speaker 8: gives Lane Maxwell. You know she's evil. I think the
- 36:40Speaker 8: point we don't want to lose sight of, though, Rita,
- 36:43Speaker 8: is that we know that Jeffrey Epstein hated Donald Trump.
- 36:47Speaker 8: The Democrats continued this futile effort to smear Donald Trump
- 36:53Speaker 8: by associating him with Epstein. Well, there wasn't association in
- 36:57Speaker 8: the sense that he kicked Epstein out of Mari Loga
- 37:00Speaker 8: go as a guest, and Epstein hated Trump to the
- 37:03Speaker 8: point where he was on the phone talking to a
- 37:06Speaker 8: Democratic congress person during a hearing giving advice on how
- 37:10Speaker 8: to attack the Trump administration. I mean, this whole Epstein
- 37:15Speaker 8: thing is a complete non starter for the Democrats.
- 37:20Speaker 3: But so many have this false perception that it's Donald
- 37:24Speaker 3: Trump that's all over the Epstein files, not members of
- 37:28Speaker 3: the Democrat Party or a former president there who appears
- 37:33Speaker 3: multiple times. And this latest revelation really should not come
- 37:38Speaker 3: as a shock given author Michael Wolfe. Trump hating author
- 37:43Speaker 3: Michael Wolfe said some time ago that Jeffrey Epstein believed
- 37:47Speaker 3: Trump was the one who had first alerted authorities to
- 37:50Speaker 3: his antics have a listen.
- 37:53Speaker 19: At that point, Epstein's legal problems began. The police began
- 37:58Speaker 19: to investigate him over our litigations that he was that
- 38:04Speaker 19: there were underage women coming to his house. Epstein believed
- 38:08Speaker 19: that it was Trump who first informed the police about
- 38:12Speaker 19: what was going on at Epstein's house, and from that
- 38:16Speaker 19: point on they were they were nothing but bitter enemies.
- 38:20Speaker 2: And this is what he's telling you. This is one
- 38:22Speaker 2: of the instances of what he's telling you that.
- 38:24Speaker 19: Yes, the following up that is the version of this
- 38:27Speaker 19: related by Epstein.
- 38:30Speaker 3: And Michael Wolfe. Is no friend of Donald Trump, is he?
- 38:34Speaker 1: John, No, he's not.
- 38:36Speaker 8: But what he said there is exactly what we see
- 38:38Speaker 8: in these Epstein files. Trump is mentioned in them, and
- 38:41Speaker 8: the Democrats keep saying, oh, yeah, Trump has mentioned. Yeah,
- 38:44Speaker 8: he's mentioned because Epstein hates him and attacks him in
- 38:48Speaker 8: these these email ex changes.
- 38:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and there's several emails where they're plotting to get
- 38:54Speaker 3: him to try to just destroy his political campaign. There
- 39:00Speaker 3: are a lot of emails like that, and everyone is
- 39:03Speaker 3: free to read them. So I would encourage people who
- 39:05Speaker 3: are interested in this to actually read the source material
- 39:08Speaker 3: rather than listening to some of the media commentary. Now,
- 39:11Speaker 3: John got some terrible news out of Hong Kong. Jimmy Lay,
- 39:15Speaker 3: the media tycoon pro democracy campaigner, has been jailed for
- 39:19Speaker 3: twenty years for allegedly coluding with foreign forces under these
- 39:26Speaker 3: controversial national security laws. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio
- 39:31Speaker 3: has expressed his dismay at the sentence. Writing the sentencing
- 39:36Speaker 3: of Jimmy Lay in Hong Kong is an unjust and
- 39:39Speaker 3: tragic conclusion to this case. We urge the authorities to
- 39:43Speaker 3: grant Missilay humanitarian parole. Will President Trump raise this issue
- 39:51Speaker 3: with Beijing directly, John Well, I.
- 39:54Speaker 8: Sure hope, Sir Jimmy Lay is one of the heroes
- 39:57Speaker 8: of our time. He easily could have gotten out of home,
- 40:00Speaker 8: but instead he stayed to lead the fight for freedom
- 40:04Speaker 8: in that in that city, and what's happened to him,
- 40:07Speaker 8: of course, is a disaster. He's like the soldier needson
- 40:10Speaker 8: of our era. And I seriously hope that Trump will
- 40:14Speaker 8: raise his issue in a very his his case, in
- 40:16Speaker 8: a very serious way. But it's hard to say. There
- 40:19Speaker 8: are so many important issues between the US and China.
- 40:22Speaker 8: I really don't know if that's going to be high
- 40:24Speaker 8: on the agenda or not.
- 40:27Speaker 3: John Heindereicher, thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 40:31Speaker 8: Thank you, Edith.
- 40:33Speaker 3: Still to calm, we look at the disturbing truth about
- 40:35Speaker 3: the former Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson and her ex
- 40:38Speaker 3: husband Andrew. Doctor Carol Lieberman as the Data House welcome back.
- 40:54Speaker 3: Joining me now is forensic psychiatrist and author, Doctor Carol
- 40:58Speaker 3: Laberman dot the Leeberman. The latest Epstein document dump has
- 41:03Speaker 3: cast former Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson and her ex
- 41:06Speaker 3: husband and Drew Matt Badden Windsor as grubby and selfish
- 41:10Speaker 3: and as a pair who knew of Epstein's vile activities
- 41:14Speaker 3: yet continue to grow their relationship with him. So much
- 41:19Speaker 3: of the communication that we've read is after he was
- 41:23Speaker 3: convicted on some really serious and ugly charges.
- 41:29Speaker 10: Yes, Epstein was a very mysterious man who obviously did
- 41:37Speaker 10: a lot about things, but he had this magic, this
- 41:41Speaker 10: ability to attract people who were very rich, people who
- 41:46Speaker 10: were in high places, royalty, And how he kept them
- 41:51Speaker 10: friends to be friends of his is by keeping them
- 41:55Speaker 10: in having something on them. You know. He didn't want
- 41:59Speaker 10: them to betray his trust, and so he would always
- 42:03Speaker 10: get something on each of them. Now I kind of
- 42:06Speaker 10: feel bad for Andrew because, you know, I think he
- 42:12Speaker 10: was on the spectrum, the autism spectrum. You know, he
- 42:16Speaker 10: had this strange preoccupation with stuffed animals on his bed,
- 42:22Speaker 10: and they had to be in these specific kinds of
- 42:25Speaker 10: and other kinds of dolls, and he had to be
- 42:27Speaker 10: they had to be in specific kinds of places, and
- 42:31Speaker 10: also he just seemed socially awkward, and so so you know,
- 42:37Speaker 10: I think you know now he's he's of course, his
- 42:39Speaker 10: titles have been taken away and he's been made to move,
- 42:43Speaker 10: and I think that that I think it's a little
- 42:47Speaker 10: too much for we don't we don't know, I.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Mean, farm you have a far more charitable view of
- 42:56Speaker 3: the former prince that I do. I've got to say
- 42:58Speaker 3: that I do not feel sorry for him one little bit,
- 43:01Speaker 3: but I do agree with you that he's certainly socially awkward.
- 43:05Speaker 3: On Fergie, emails between her and Epstein seem to show
- 43:10Speaker 3: that she may have had a crush on him, or
- 43:14Speaker 3: some have suggested she was in love with a disgrace
- 43:16Speaker 3: by nancier and convicted pedophile. Let's not forget. Alan Howe
- 43:21Speaker 3: has written a great piece in Today's Australian newspaper and
- 43:25Speaker 3: he says there were warning signs from very early on
- 43:29Speaker 3: about Sarah Ferguson. Reports of disturbing behavior from her date
- 43:34Speaker 3: right back to when she first joined the royal family
- 43:36Speaker 3: in nineteen eighty six. Carol, what do you say about that?
- 43:41Speaker 10: Well, yes, this is the newest thing that has come
- 43:44Speaker 10: out of the Epstein files. I mean, there's so much
- 43:46Speaker 10: that's coming out there, thousands and thousands of pages. But yes,
- 43:51Speaker 10: it has come out that on at least two occasions
- 43:54Speaker 10: she proposed to Jeffrey Epstein, and yes it was after
- 43:59Speaker 10: he was convicted the first time of movings, and so
- 44:04Speaker 10: you know, obviously that didn't bother her very much or
- 44:08Speaker 10: it didn't preclude her wanting to be married to him. Now,
- 44:10Speaker 10: of course it is. She does have this pattern where
- 44:15Speaker 10: she likes to She's attracted to men not only for
- 44:19Speaker 10: their accomplishments and you know, their they're having a lot
- 44:23Speaker 10: of money and so on, but also for what they
- 44:26Speaker 10: will buy her, you know, what they can offer her.
- 44:30Speaker 10: But apparently Epstein actually did give her money on a
- 44:34Speaker 10: number of occasions, you know, when she was in deep trouble,
- 44:38Speaker 10: you know, in debt, and he would I mean the
- 44:40Speaker 10: money that she asked him for was really not very
- 44:42Speaker 10: much for what he had in terms of wealth.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Well, yeah, it seems to be a lot about money
- 44:49Speaker 3: when he kind of when it comes to these to
- 44:51Speaker 3: particularly Fergure, it's Fergie, it seems. Now we've seen a
- 44:55Speaker 3: truly unprecedented public reaction from the royal family in recent wakes,
- 44:59Speaker 3: can Charles went nuclear and broke long standing raal protocol
- 45:05Speaker 3: by commenting on family matters, issued a statement condemning his brother,
- 45:10Speaker 3: even ejected him from the Royal Lodge Carol. And yet
- 45:14Speaker 3: despite that rather strong response, the King has been heckled
- 45:19Speaker 3: during a visit to Lancashire by a man demanding to
- 45:23Speaker 3: know how long he had known about Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein.
- 45:27Speaker 20: Have a listen, Jels, how long have you vote about.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Carol? That is not a great look for the royal family.
- 45:52Speaker 10: Is it. No, it isn't now. Of course the Queen
- 45:56Speaker 10: would say, never complain and never explain, but yes, King
- 46:03Speaker 10: Charles has gone a little bit beyond that. I don't know,
- 46:05Speaker 10: I mean, I can't help. You know, Andrew was the
- 46:09Speaker 10: Queen's favorite child, favorite son, and I think and the
- 46:13Speaker 10: younger and younger than than Charles. And you know, there
- 46:17Speaker 10: is this thing in families where siblings their sibling rivalry,
- 46:22Speaker 10: and particularly siblings who are older than the children who
- 46:27Speaker 10: come next are jealous of them because they take the
- 46:30Speaker 10: attention away of their parents. So I don't know, I
- 46:34Speaker 10: think maybe unconsciously there's some of that that sort of
- 46:38Speaker 10: you know, and and yes, what he thinks that his
- 46:41Speaker 10: people want him to do. Those pressures caused him, but
- 46:45Speaker 10: I don't know, just the idea of making Andrew pack
- 46:49Speaker 10: up in the middle of the night and move, not
- 46:51Speaker 10: that he hadn't been warned before, and actually it was
- 46:54Speaker 10: because the King took away a lot of money and
- 46:57Speaker 10: he couldn't afford to keep up his where he was living.
- 47:03Speaker 10: But but yes, I mean, it just it just seems like,
- 47:08Speaker 10: you know, we don't know, we don't know exactly how
- 47:11Speaker 10: much Andrew did. I mean, yes, there's certainly stories, especially
- 47:15Speaker 10: now with more things coming out from Epstein, you know,
- 47:17Speaker 10: it's looking worse and worse. But I just think I just,
- 47:23Speaker 10: you know, I guess because as a psychiatrist seeing you know,
- 47:28Speaker 10: seeing that there may be some underlying psychiatric problem like
- 47:32Speaker 10: this being on the autism spectrum. Not that that allows
- 47:36Speaker 10: you to do anything in regard to young girls, you know,
- 47:39Speaker 10: doesn't doesn't absolve you of it, I think, But.
- 47:42Speaker 3: Carol, I'm sure in the coming months will learn more
- 47:45Speaker 3: about Andrew's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. Thank you so much
- 47:49Speaker 3: for your time tonight, I've run out of time. I'll
- 47:52Speaker 3: see you tomorrow at eleven with Douglas Murray Up next.
- 47:56Speaker 3: It's Newsnight
- 48:00Speaker 16: Eight
