- 0:03No ID is meant for a sane audience. No ID may
- 0:08contain Liberty -oriented content. PINCO discretion
- 0:12is advised. Now, here's No ID with Paul Banducci
- 0:19and Scott Moskowitz. Well, in the same room and
- 0:26touching each other's toes under the desk, it's
- 0:28no ID. Welcome back, I'm Scott. Hello Internet,
- 0:32I'm Paul. We are going to do some toe touching
- 0:34today. I can't wait. In real life, in the flesh.
- 0:38Right. We're here together on the same at the
- 0:41same desk. And lucky you, I have all 10 of my
- 0:43toes. So, oh, I felt it. You didn't need to tell
- 0:46me that. And we've we're both rocking French
- 0:50press buzzes. I made a fresh French press pot.
- 0:53And Paul was like, oh, I've already drank a whole
- 0:55one. So I'm only going to have like four more
- 0:56cups, just so you know. I was up at five forty
- 0:59five this morning. And yesterday I was up at
- 1:01515. I don't usually do that. So I'm stoked to
- 1:06be here. This is mainstream media deconstruction
- 1:10for Ida Hizzle. And we just got we're actually
- 1:13still on the tail end here of the America 250
- 1:16celebrations over Independence Day. What do you
- 1:19what do you do? Because the mainstream had a
- 1:21field day with with field reporters, you know
- 1:24Doing the man on the street for all the people
- 1:26celebrate in Murica. So what did what did the
- 1:29band do cheese do? Were there any more glass
- 1:30shattering potato drops? Unfortunately, I think
- 1:34no Idaho cities are gonna face ten million dollar
- 1:36lawsuits this time around but it's possible that
- 1:38news just hasn't come out yet What are the odds
- 1:41half a dozen cities take this opportunity to
- 1:44be like? Not next year. We're going to put this
- 1:47one away forever. No more hardcore shows. We're
- 1:51just going to save ourselves the trouble. I think
- 1:52it was the independent proprietors maybe this
- 1:54time. Before you tell me what the Banducci's
- 1:57did, let me play Krem Channel 2's dire... death
- 2:03and destruction on Independence Day. Every Independence
- 2:07Day weekend, we unfortunately see crime and destruction
- 2:09here in the Inland Northwest. This year was no
- 2:12exception to that. Moscow Fire Department says
- 2:15illegal aerial fireworks lit a duplex's attic
- 2:17on fire. No one was home at the time and nobody
- 2:21was hurt, thankfully. We don't know yet if there
- 2:24will be criminal charges for the use of illegal
- 2:26fireworks. So, so far, that's all I've heard.
- 2:28I haven't heard like, oh, you know, a municipality
- 2:31is in trouble for some official show. It's just
- 2:33been all the all the individuals doing what they
- 2:36shouldn't be doing. Scott, do you ever wonder
- 2:37if we actually were victorious in the American
- 2:40war for independence? I do find myself. That
- 2:42reads just like the redcoats are still in charge.
- 2:45In other news, rabble, a rabble, a raucous rabble
- 2:51of rebels lit off unapproved gunpowder and lit.
- 2:57Somebody's building on fire. Maybe potentially
- 3:00possibly and we don't know if we're gonna hit
- 3:02him with terrorism yet or not But don't worry
- 3:05charges are pending when we find the right person
- 3:07stay inside stay safe citizen. Whoa British police
- 3:12is that you shelter in place shelter dude, the
- 3:15red coats never left some Americans just swapped
- 3:18blue coats for red ones Over the years. No, it's
- 3:22ridiculous. It's like listening to the news about
- 3:25Coeur d 'Alene City Council and it was um Quite
- 3:28the to -do in the Coeur d 'Alene press for like
- 3:30two weeks running how the City Council was wringing
- 3:32their hands about a new ordinance They were trying
- 3:34to pass for fireworks at the same time. They're
- 3:38wringing their hands about a new ordinance They're
- 3:40trying to figure out and pass to keep the noise
- 3:42down in downtown Coeur d 'Alene you know the
- 3:44place where everybody likes to hang out and drive
- 3:46and buy stuff and like Sherman Avenue the road
- 3:49that Made a name for itself because everybody
- 3:51could go down there and drive and buy stuff and
- 3:54hang out in downtown Coeur d 'Alene. It's called
- 3:56Sure Man, as in go right ahead. Sure, man. Sure,
- 3:59man. Yeah. Oh, dude. Do not interrupt me. Oh,
- 4:03the apparatus of Coeur d 'Alene. I just I'm telling
- 4:06you, the Redcoats never left. They never left.
- 4:09Here is KTV. Oh, by the way, Rabble of Rebels
- 4:13in the running for show title right off the bat
- 4:15here. We already have a contender. Here is KTVB's
- 4:18coverage. This clip was titled, Idahoans celebrate
- 4:21America's 250th birthday in downtown Boise. So
- 4:24we're going to hear from some of the, some of
- 4:27society, some of the individual society dwellers.
- 4:33Idaho celebrated the 4th of July in a big way
- 4:36this morning in front of the capital. Crowds
- 4:38lined the streets in downtown Boise for a parade
- 4:41marking America's 250th birthday. KTVB photographer
- 4:45Ali Al Saidi was there for it all. Okay, wait,
- 4:51there's I have I have several of these clips
- 4:53and without exception every and I haven't seen
- 4:56these are all like new people. None of these
- 4:58are repeat of the you know the the field reporters
- 5:01all of a sudden. It's, it's nothing but like,
- 5:05uh, Alison Rodriguez Gutierrez and, uh, Aid Al
- 5:09Saeed bin Mohammed. Like, I don't know what they
- 5:11decided to send out. Like every single mainstream
- 5:13media correspondent journalist reporter is a
- 5:16diversity hire now. Which is not a shock to anybody
- 5:20who's been paying attention to the cultural shifts,
- 5:22but gee whiz Yes, I'm here for America 250. What
- 5:25are your qualifications? I'm female and brown
- 5:27you're hired for parade marking America How many
- 5:30hyphens do you have in your name only three?
- 5:32I don't know this guy's got this gal's got four
- 5:34over here I have to share this he has eight names
- 5:37I was just told that I'll keep it anonymous,
- 5:39but I was just told of a like a good friend They
- 5:43were having a baby is like the first grandkid
- 5:45and they would they already have a hyphenated
- 5:47last name and now they're adding a third. So
- 5:49it's going to be the hyphenated plus it's it's
- 5:52a three name hyphen. But there are only so many
- 5:56characters that fit on the Social Security card.
- 5:58So they are limited to five characters for the
- 6:01first name. So they have to come up with a five
- 6:03character first name. These are, of course, self
- 6:04-imposed limitations because they're insisting
- 6:06on a three hyphen last name. And you'll never
- 6:09guess what state these people dwell in. Three
- 6:12guesses in the first two don't count. 150th birthday.
- 6:15KTBB photographer Ali Al Saidi. And of course
- 6:19the anchor chokes on it because it's like, wait
- 6:21a minute, we just hired you for this. We have
- 6:24never met you. No, but I really like, if we could
- 6:27do it, it would take too much time and it wouldn't
- 6:29be worth it. The squeeze wouldn't be worth the
- 6:31juice, but it would be hilarious to do a super
- 6:32cut. of all of these clips just over the last
- 6:35couple of months of the in -studio person fucking
- 6:38up the the on -the -ground reporter's name because
- 6:41they're all hyphenated and foreign Hold on, I
- 6:45have to write down hyphenated and foreign Yeah,
- 6:51we're on a roll today and We should do we should
- 6:54do these coffee riddled in person podcasts more
- 6:56often If we could we would if I live down photographer
- 7:00Ali Ali al -saidi was golly just call him alphabet.
- 7:04Okay? They're turning left on Bacalacodaca Street
- 7:09Okay, so now that now now starteth the the on
- 7:16-the -ground Interviews, I can't wait. Hold on.
- 7:19Can I just prep? I can I just prep prep guess
- 7:21this breakfast with a guest, like, everybody's
- 7:24gonna sound so retarded, aren't they? It's like,
- 7:27what are you here for? Freedom! You don't have
- 7:31any idea how literally true what you just said
- 7:32is. You know how many ordinances Boise has to
- 7:34keep you from doing freedom stuff? No, I don't,
- 7:37but freedom! Get ready. One word, freedom. You
- 7:43talked over it, shut up. One word, freedom. Are
- 7:46you hearing this? One word, freedom. Freedom.
- 7:50Freedom. Are you? Please soundbite that, Scott.
- 7:54Well, duh. But I mean, how how in the I hate
- 7:59to make not making fun of the tech. I'm making
- 8:01fun of the mainstream media. This is insane.
- 8:04This is this is who Ali bin Mohammed is interviewing.
- 8:08And they find the guy that sounds like the dude
- 8:10with the Coke bottle glasses. He sounds like
- 8:12the dude on the on the Medicare scooter that
- 8:16has. The minigun on front while he's shoving
- 8:18cheeseburgers down his gullet. One word freedom
- 8:21and that's what all these people are celebrating
- 8:24today is this freedom is only because of those
- 8:28who served back in 1775 all the way up to today.
- 8:33We're proud to be American. and we're so excited
- 8:38to have the privilege to get to be here today
- 8:40and do this with everybody that feels the same
- 8:42way. This is the fantastic Fourth of July. Did
- 8:45you notice too as she said that we have the privilege
- 8:48to be here today? We're proud to be Americans.
- 8:50We're here to celebrate the land of the free.
- 8:52So much privilege. We have the privilege to get
- 8:54to be here today and do this with everybody that
- 8:56feels the same way. This is a fantastic 4th of
- 8:59July. 250th birthday. Once in a lifetime. So
- 9:04we're here. We love our country. We love our
- 9:06veterans. And we're really here to introduce
- 9:09our children to the idea of freedom and what
- 9:11it has taken to get here. I'm celebrating the
- 9:154th of July in America's 215th birthday. Yay!
- 9:20Now here, this is my next favorite part. By the
- 9:23way, I noticed that nobody ever says liberty.
- 9:24They always say freedom. There's something significant
- 9:27about that. So if I was a trillionaire, Scott,
- 9:29like a liquid trillionaire, because Elon Musk
- 9:31is a trillionaire, but it's not liquid. Yes,
- 9:33America's second trillionaire behind Musk, Paul
- 9:36Banducci. Dude, I would I would do the Lord's
- 9:38work. Then first order of business doing the
- 9:41Lord's work would I would I would give everybody
- 9:43in the country. A copy of three felonies a day.
- 9:50There are so many laws on the books just at the
- 9:52federal level alone just the federal level that
- 9:55the average American commits 3 .5 felonies per
- 9:59day I am NOT joking it was a lawyer who wrote
- 10:03this book and this was ten years ago He published
- 10:05this book. So I bet you we're up to four and
- 10:07a half felonies a day What are the most common
- 10:10infractions? I actually don't know I didn't get
- 10:12it's like speeding wouldn't be a felony. No,
- 10:14that's not a felony Well a lot for instance selling
- 10:17llama poop That's a federal felony. If you don't
- 10:20have the right permits and you're not doing it
- 10:22in the right way, selling llama manure is a federal
- 10:25felony. It's something to do with some farm act
- 10:28from 20 years ago, 30 years ago, that if you
- 10:31cross interstate commerce, you cross state lines
- 10:33with it, yada, yada, due to some USDA bill from
- 10:36back in the day. There's technicalities. Oh,
- 10:38all this shit. But that's how messed up everything
- 10:41is. And that's just the federal level. So when
- 10:42you actually factor in the federal level, the
- 10:44state level, the county level, the city level,
- 10:47The list of what is illegal is 10, 20, 30 times
- 10:51longer than the list of what we actually can
- 10:53do without permission. Now, nobody knows this
- 10:55because a lot of it's not enforced because even
- 10:58the people, even the enforcers don't know. In
- 11:00fact, the enforcers themselves are just as guilty
- 11:02of the three felonies a day rule. Sure. Again,
- 11:05that's just the federal level. So if I was Trillion,
- 11:09Trillion or Paul would hand out a copy to every
- 11:12man, woman and child and also a copy of the anatomy
- 11:15of the state. Also a copy of the most dangerous
- 11:17superstition because those are the places you
- 11:19start and then all of these people who think
- 11:21we're free I just it'd be so awesome to open
- 11:24everybody's eyes not because I'm a cynical bastard
- 11:26and I am a cynical bastard But because the moment
- 11:29people realize that it's not true. We actually
- 11:31could affect some real change But you are not
- 11:34free if you're a business owner You know, you're
- 11:36not free because everything you do requires permission
- 11:39from the government and then if you succeed They
- 11:41take half of it from you anyways. Well, and then
- 11:43everyone, you know, everyone's they hear that
- 11:45and they're like Well, what are they? They're
- 11:47not busting in and tackling you and zip -tying
- 11:50you and taking your... Not yet. Say no and see
- 11:53what happens. Because we're not in a full totalitarian
- 11:57Third Reich society doesn't mean that what you
- 12:00said isn't true. Oh, we are. It's just more polite.
- 12:03It's just papered over with bureaucracy, red
- 12:06tape, bureaucrats and paperwork. So instead of
- 12:09the Gestapo busting your door in with the first
- 12:11time you say no, You got to get three or four
- 12:13layers down before then that happens. But it
- 12:16does happen. Eventually it happens. Most people
- 12:19just don't say no long enough for it to get to
- 12:21that point. But make no mistake, everything the
- 12:23government does is backed by the threat of violence.
- 12:26Come on, man. You guys suck. We're just trying
- 12:28to appreciate America. Hey, can't you guys be
- 12:30a little more grateful? I could. I do. I am grateful
- 12:32and I will say we are privileged in one sense.
- 12:36Living in America is kick ass and I am grateful
- 12:38to live here. versus most other places. That
- 12:41is objectively speaking, that is a true fact.
- 12:44There you go. I will also say that I love the
- 12:48idea of what America was. What irks me is how
- 12:53many people and how ignorant they are about where
- 12:56we are now. So when you stand there and you tell
- 12:59me America and freedom and because of the brave
- 13:02and all that stuff and I go, yeah, because I'm
- 13:03sure, you know, Paw Paw Anderson is super stoked
- 13:07about fighting and dying in World War I or World
- 13:10War II, so that 80 years later, his kids couldn't
- 13:14run a business without permission from the government,
- 13:16or his kids couldn't afford a house because there
- 13:19are 40 -gorillion illegals in the country, or
- 13:22whatever. Actually, the housing issue is more
- 13:24than just illegals, but you get my drift. Papa
- 13:28Ali bin Mohammed Salam Papa alphabet. Papa Anderson.
- 13:33What country do you think diversity is our strength?
- 13:35And it's Anderson with it. S .E .N. So it's properly
- 13:38Scandinavian here. Now we're continuing on with
- 13:42this KTV clip of Idaho and celebrating America
- 13:44250 in downtown Boise. And you're about to I'm
- 13:49going to indulge everyone in one of life's most
- 13:52pure delights. A bad marching band. This is part
- 14:01of the clip. They're playing Gangster's Paradise.
- 14:08For America 250. The irony. Okay, so first of
- 14:11all, that's Pastime Paradise. There's three layers
- 14:14of irony there. Well, even if you go back from
- 14:17before Gangster's to the original, so the Stevie
- 14:19Wonder original, to Pastime Paradise, what is
- 14:22past - Here, it'll be better if Chauncey explains
- 14:26it. How dare you? Summarize briefly what Pastime
- 14:29Paradise is about. Pastime Paradise is a song
- 14:34by Stevie Wonder that critiques a kind of escapism.
- 14:37It contrasts people who live in a nostalgic past
- 14:39paradise versus those who dream of a perfect
- 14:41future but never engage with the realities of
- 14:44the present. Do you think that was intentional
- 14:47because if that whoever runs the marching band
- 14:49chose that intentionally? First off, hats off
- 14:52to them. I'm impressed. Amazing. But also, I
- 14:55thought I was a cynical bastard. That is cynical
- 14:58bastard level 100. OK, here's what we're going
- 15:00to do, guys. We're going to play Pastime Paradise
- 15:03because it's about delusional people thinking
- 15:05they're here in some mythical past that doesn't
- 15:07actually exist any longer. And we're going to
- 15:09play it poorly. Nailed it. actually we are here
- 15:18today because my wife and my kids this will be
- 15:23the 50th capital they've US capital that they
- 15:26visited on the 250th birthday of America they're
- 15:30doing a tour of all the state the state religion
- 15:34center buildings the capital buildings of all
- 15:3650 so I'm pretty sure that was the Jewish marching
- 15:38band too by the way there was a lot of clarinet
- 15:40and oboe in there birthday of America We love
- 15:46America. Love America. Question, question mark.
- 15:50James, say that again. Hold on. We love America.
- 15:53What? OK, that's going on the soundboard. Yes,
- 15:56yes. We love America. Love America. Yep, we drove
- 15:59down here with flags out our windows and everybody
- 16:01was honking and being happy about the holiday.
- 16:04She wasn't sure, so her friend slash mom came
- 16:07in and saved her. We love America. We love America.
- 16:10Yeah, we do. We love America. Oh, stop it. Stop
- 16:14it. This is part of the clip. No, turn it down.
- 16:17Dude, look at the waveform. It's not any louder.
- 16:20It's just distorted and horrible. OK, don't put
- 16:22our poor listeners through any more of this.
- 16:24This is KTVB original broadcast. An amazing parade
- 16:30celebrating America's 250th anniversary. So we
- 16:33flew in from San Francisco to what? What? I think
- 16:41it's great. It's the first time I've been to
- 16:42this one in Boise. The parade was great. The
- 16:45band's great. The food's great. It's been a really
- 16:47good day. Okay, that goes on. Look how much more
- 16:51of the bad marching band and band music there
- 16:54is. I'm going to spare you. I hate all of you.
- 16:59That was society celebrating in Boise. Hey Paul,
- 17:03why do you hate society? Scott Moskowitz's clips
- 17:07and sound drops. That's all you need to know.
- 17:09I'm so very deeply sorry. Who the hell flies
- 17:13in from San Francisco for the Boise Parade? Why
- 17:16would you do that? Well, they heard, they're
- 17:19like, well, there's another gay Mecca. I was
- 17:21actually just going to say it. And it's Boise,
- 17:23Idaho. You knew where I was going with that.
- 17:26They tied a tie. They're like, well, which one
- 17:28do we think is going to be gay? Or maybe it's
- 17:29Boise this year. I felt really gay last night.
- 17:33Thanks Dan Gookin. But Dan Gookin, do you love
- 17:35America? Question mark. We love America? That's
- 17:41biased. It's called a loaded question, Dan Gookin.
- 17:45Do not interrupt me. Okay, okay. Okay, here is...
- 17:49Dude, we could do this. I could do this bit all
- 17:51day long. You know what? If Chauncey's gonna
- 17:53replace you, Dan Gouken's gonna replace me. Yes!
- 17:56Okay, new idea. We just put Dan Gouken's soundbites
- 17:59and Chauncey in a room and let them go for two
- 18:01hours on a podcast and see what happens. Good
- 18:03luck. Yeah. Here is our National Treasure, NPR,
- 18:10and some of their coverage of America 250. Saturday
- 18:16marked the nation's 250th anniversary of the
- 18:19signing of the Declaration of Independence. Idahoans
- 18:22gathered across the state to celebrate. Chantel
- 18:25Ramirez Sanchez has more. This is a new person.
- 18:30I've never heard her name, but for some reason,
- 18:33here's NPR. having her cover America 250. Chantelle
- 18:38Ramirez Sanchez has more. This year, the city
- 18:41of Boise hosted its annual fireworks show, but
- 18:44with a twist for America 250, a live performance
- 18:48from the Boise Philharmonic and a show with more
- 18:51than 100 drones. I'm not sure if she, 100 drones,
- 18:57is she referring to the people? Did you? Ooh.
- 19:00Got them. Just simmer on that whole line for
- 19:06a minute America 250 how it started versus how
- 19:10it's going Yeah a hundred drones and the government
- 19:15watching everything you do and all the laws that
- 19:18we have reported on by Gutierrez Michael Ramirez
- 19:25Sanchez and a half for hyphens it's so America
- 19:29250 dude our founding fathers and I respect them
- 19:34pretty hardcore for a lot of things, but I'll
- 19:36also be the first to criticize them for a lot
- 19:37of things. They are rolling in their graves so
- 19:42hard and so fast. We wouldn't even need, if we
- 19:44could plug into them, we wouldn't even need nuclear
- 19:46power. We could just power the entire country
- 19:48out of how fast those guys are spinning in their
- 19:50graves right now. I'm just imagining like a lathe,
- 19:539 ,000 RPMs. Oh, 90 ,000 RPMs, man. They could
- 19:58bore a hole to the center of the earth. works
- 20:01and just the food and just bringing the whole
- 20:03communities together. I feel like that's really
- 20:05fun. That was Marie Whitley of Fruitland. She
- 20:08travels here to experience the country's milestone
- 20:10celebration. It's a great holiday. It's a holiday
- 20:12where we celebrate our country and that's really
- 20:14nice. Maria Lundy came down from Coeur d 'Alene
- 20:17to spend time with friends. I feel like every
- 20:20tiny town you go to in America has a Fourth of
- 20:23July tradition. How is this news? And Terry Copage
- 20:25came down from Canada to celebrate. The countryside,
- 20:30the people. What? The rivers I'd like. What?
- 20:36So the countryside, the people, and the rivers.
- 20:39That's what our Canuck friend had to say. Dude's
- 20:42struggling. The people. He better be careful
- 20:46because his homeland might think he's having
- 20:48a stroke and they'll try to euthanize him. Have
- 20:50you considered suicide? This is the second person
- 21:02in a row that described it using the word nice.
- 21:07I think he mentioned the rivers three times.
- 21:09I really enjoy the rivers, the tributaries. The
- 21:14waterways. And the moving waterways. And America
- 21:16250 celebrations won't end in Idaho anytime soon.
- 21:20I'm gonna guess nobody told them that there was
- 21:21a no wake zone in all of those waterways. Slow
- 21:24down. In 2024, the Idaho Legislator created a
- 21:28task force to plan Idaho's commemoration. Why
- 21:31would you do that? And will go until December
- 21:332027. Chantara Mira Sanchez, Boise State Public
- 21:37Radio News. Did I hear 2027? Yeah, and it started
- 21:40two years ago. a four year commission on how
- 21:42to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing
- 21:45of the Declaration of Independence, which, by
- 21:46the way, is over now. That anniversary was a
- 21:49couple of was yesterday, Saturday, two days ago.
- 21:52Why do you need two more years on that commission?
- 21:55Please, someone please tell me that one's going
- 21:57to tell you how much taxpayer money are we burning
- 21:59on that commission? That is the most neo -American
- 22:03thing now to celebrate a holiday that is literally
- 22:07based on being anti -taxation. and forming a
- 22:11four -year commission two years longer than it
- 22:13needs to be, burning a hole in the American taxpayer
- 22:16wallets to do so. We love America. I hate you
- 22:23all. I love God dude and like stream nobody's
- 22:28more red -blooded American than me when we are
- 22:30talking about the ideals that the country was
- 22:33founded on it was pretty baller the men were
- 22:35brilliant the document was about the best you
- 22:37could come up with short of being what I am an
- 22:38anarcho -capitalist obviously they were smart
- 22:41enough and as smart as me Well, I would have
- 22:43just that's why they're not trillionaires Damn
- 22:47you Dude but yeah For what it was, it was a pretty
- 22:54damn good idea and it even lasted a little while.
- 22:56It was pretty cool. It had a good run. It had
- 22:58an okay run. Yeah, but we are so, we're so far
- 23:02away from it now. We are the most surveilled
- 23:05country in human history and on planet earth.
- 23:07We are the most incarcerated nation in human
- 23:10history and on planet earth. We have fought the
- 23:13most wars. We have dropped the most bombs. We
- 23:16have, we're number one. We have crossed the board
- 23:19heaviest regulatory environment. Most regulations.
- 23:23Most regulations. They're gonna be huge. This
- 23:25book of regulations is gonna be huge. Here's
- 23:29one more National Treasure gem. Oh, no more.
- 23:32I can't take it anymore, Scott. Alright, fine.
- 23:35I know, I know. He's pissed because he goes through
- 23:37the work to find these clips. You're like, no,
- 23:40I can't do it. I'd rather you pull my fingernails
- 23:42out. Then make me listen to more of that dribble.
- 23:45How? Okay. Well, you know what? We'll just let's
- 23:47let's talk about what we did. Let's transition
- 23:49out of question. Let's yes, you're right. I did.
- 23:52So go ahead. Over the bed of this marching band.
- 23:56Okay. How would you know? Now I remember why
- 23:59I don't come down here in person is because I
- 24:01come totally disarmed. I don't get to use my
- 24:03laptop or my sound. I got all the power. Scott
- 24:06has all the power, all the sound bites, all the
- 24:08sound drops. He gets to mute me. I don't even
- 24:11get to mute, you know, like nobody mutes me.
- 24:15I wasn't thinking about it, but you reminded
- 24:16me. Nobody should have to put up with these work
- 24:18conditions. This is bullshit. I'm asking, I'm
- 24:20going to do what the, um, what the communists
- 24:22working for the statesman did and strike for
- 24:25one day. We demand, I don't want to bet. I demand
- 24:29better working conditions, Scott, and better
- 24:31pay. My performance on this podcast is irrelevant.
- 24:34Dude, you do 75 % of the work, but I deserve
- 24:3675 % of the pay. Okay. So what the Banducci's
- 24:40do? Nothing. We literally did nothing. We hung
- 24:45out at home up in Clark Fork and didn't go see
- 24:48a parade, didn't turn on the TV, didn't light
- 24:50off any fireworks. It was quiet and it was amazing.
- 24:54It was incredible. Probably one of the best Fourth
- 24:56of July's I've ever had. What'd you guys do?
- 25:00Riveting. Well, we did something. I'll have you
- 25:03know, sir, I celebrated the Fourth of July the
- 25:05way most Americans did for, I don't know, 200
- 25:08years of our 250 years. Quiet reflection. Quietly
- 25:11leaving each other the fuck alone and enjoying
- 25:14life out in the country as proper Americans.
- 25:18Yeah. You know what I did? I didn't bother my
- 25:20neighbors. That's what I did. I knocked on no
- 25:22one's door. I told no one what to do. We just
- 25:26minded our own beeswax. That's right. I loved
- 25:28America, period, not question mark. We love America
- 25:33Yeah, we what did we do we watched a lot of fireworks
- 25:38from the water tower up here You know, it's got
- 25:41we got like the 360 degree view of society lighting
- 25:44off fireworks Yeah, but the price is right. Did
- 25:47you actually like climb up onto the water tower?
- 25:50Oh, yeah. Oh, no, not all over the tower. No,
- 25:53just like at the tower No, I didn't want to I
- 25:55didn't want to step over the barbed wire to get
- 25:57to that little tiny ladder. No, thank you. Oh,
- 25:59yeah. Well, I know Jews are afraid of heights,
- 26:01so that makes sense. And barbed wire. You guys
- 26:04have a thing about barbed wire fences. Although
- 26:05if I was able to get up there, they'd be able
- 26:07to hear my oboe all the way to Hayden Fiddler
- 26:11on the water tower. If I were a rich man. Little,
- 26:15little, little, little, little, little, little
- 26:17long. It's a little long for a show title, but
- 26:20Fiddler on the Water Tower is pretty good. Fiddler
- 26:21on the Water Tower. And what else did we do?
- 26:24We barbecued. That's good art, too. You're up
- 26:26there with your oboe and fireworks in the background
- 26:29up on the water tower. But you got to get the
- 26:31barbed wire fence in there somehow, too, because
- 26:33Jews have a thing about that. Anyways, how was
- 26:37your Fourth of July? Relatively free in comparison
- 26:41to what you were just describing. Oh, that's
- 26:43why you liked it so much. It was free. Free,
- 26:45man. Work sets you free. And we're really working
- 26:47this Jew angle hard today. Well, when you're
- 26:49in person, it's a different story. You can feel
- 26:51the vibe. So we barbecued with a bunch of friends
- 26:55over and we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and
- 26:58watch fireworks at night. It was pretty much
- 27:00the exact opposite of what you're describing.
- 27:02Oh, yeah. Yeah. Still a good way to do it. Yeah.
- 27:05You have your family over that's cool. You got
- 27:07to do were they here for it? Yes, they were and
- 27:09yeah, so it's friends and family and I notice
- 27:12I wasn't invited though Well, you don't come
- 27:14down from your castle very often so and I knew
- 27:16you were coming today way nicer response I thought
- 27:18you say well, you're not friend or family. I
- 27:20set you up for dude I put it on a tee dude, and
- 27:22you struck out it was on a tee I was if I would
- 27:25if I would have just heard it versus looking
- 27:27at you I think I would have got that I understand
- 27:28though your people aren't good at sports You
- 27:31ever watch Sandy Kofax? I had the best fastball
- 27:33in the history of baseball. I can think of one
- 27:35example. Thank you very much. Okay. Scottaria.
- 27:40I don't know. How do you feminize Scott? Scottaria?
- 27:44I don't know. I was working on it. That's just
- 27:46what a woman would do. If I told you men are
- 27:48taller than women, you'd be like, no, my friend
- 27:51is taller than a lot of men. Yeah, totally. Oh,
- 27:53okay. Case closed. You win. The exception proves
- 27:56the rule. I can think of an exception. Well,
- 27:59fuck me then. Go facts was fun to watch though.
- 28:02Oh, I'm sure yeah here. All right, so we're gonna
- 28:04switch gears then here Here's more. This is a
- 28:08non -stop local and they're gonna warn you a
- 28:11dire warning about heat Temperatures should soar
- 28:17on emergency responders want you to get ready
- 28:20ahead of time non -emergency Rachel Turcotte
- 28:23is joining us now in Riverfront Park. So what
- 28:27do we need to know Rachel? Tell us what to think
- 28:29But as we get it, there's going to be a question
- 28:33here. I want you to, when we're done with this
- 28:35clip, I want you to guess what the high is going
- 28:38to be. Did you ever watch Family Guy? Not like
- 28:42in the first couple of seasons, but really only
- 28:43like snippets. You'll still get this reference,
- 28:45I think. What was the dude's name? Some Alan
- 28:47Turcotte? Tell us what it's going to be. It's
- 28:50going to rain. In this case, though. You remember
- 28:53that clip? Yeah, like the weather report. It's
- 28:56going to rain. Let's find it, so that way it's
- 28:57- Instead, it's gonna be like, it's hot! It's
- 29:01gonna rain, uh, Family Guy? Mm -hmm. Mm -hmm.
- 29:27So tell us about it being hot Yes, Heidi. Well
- 29:32this fountain behind me may look like the perfect
- 29:35place to beat the heat But the Spokane Regional
- 29:38Health District explains that cooling off means
- 29:41more than just standing by the water Some important
- 29:45tips to keep in mind experts experts want to
- 29:49replenish Electrolytes they warn did you slow
- 29:52this down? Yeah, I ran her through the ebullient
- 29:56news reader filter. No, this is just what she
- 29:59sounded like. I did nothing to this. She's speaking
- 30:02like she's talking to a seven -year -old. Yeah.
- 30:06Yes, it's a very infantilizing tone. And all
- 30:08of the things she's saying so far is the dumbest
- 30:11shit ever. Like, hey, standing next to a water
- 30:14fountain won't work. Hey, you know what I do
- 30:18to beat the heat is I stand adjacent to a water
- 30:20fountain. Well, that won't work. This sounds
- 30:22like they're explaining July to a five -year
- 30:25-old. Some important tips to keep in mind. Experts,
- 30:29experts want to replenish electrolytes. They
- 30:33warn. This for a nonstop local report brought
- 30:37to you by the fine folks at Gatorade. Yes, Gatorade.
- 30:41To want to replenish electrolytes, they warn
- 30:44that heavy sweating strips your body. Where was
- 30:48that? Oh, there it is. It explains that cooling
- 30:51off means more than just standing by the water.
- 30:55You got to get in the water and stay hydrated
- 30:59with electrolytes. It's what plants crave. I'm
- 31:03standing by the water. Why am I not cooling off?
- 31:06Dude, this is insulting. It's ridiculous. They
- 31:11want to replenish your electrolytes. They're
- 31:16warning you. They warn that heavy sweating strips
- 31:21your body of important salt and minerals. So
- 31:24on top of drinking plenty of water, they also
- 31:28suggest a balanced electrolyte drink. It's also
- 31:31important to lather up with sunscreen. This news
- 31:35report in addition to Gatorade also brought to
- 31:37you by the fine folks at Coppertone. It's also
- 31:41important to lather up with sunscreen of SPF
- 31:4415 or higher 15 to 30 minutes before going out
- 31:48in the sun, as sunburns can make it harder for
- 31:51your body to cool itself. SPF 10? No, right out.
- 31:55SPF 15, you're okay. Last, check on those who
- 32:00are at high risk. This includes infants and seniors,
- 32:0465 and older, and people with heart disease.
- 32:07Somebody's been reading the airplane emergency
- 32:09pamphlets because women and children are last,
- 32:13or old people and children are last. Just like
- 32:14in the airplane where they're like, okay, if
- 32:16we're all going to die, take care of yourself
- 32:18first. Oxygen mask on you, then your kids and
- 32:22grandparents. Effect how the body responds to
- 32:26heat and if you do head out to the pool make
- 32:29sure that you get make sure you only stand next
- 32:31to it Don't get it that you get you and your
- 32:34family over to the scene as well And if the heat
- 32:37gets really bad the Spokane regional health district
- 32:41urges you to call 211 to find out where you can
- 32:44get what do you do calling call 211 and get it
- 32:47211 emergency hotline. How may I help you? I'm
- 32:50hot. What do I do? What do I do? Well, they're
- 32:52gonna - It's so hot. Oh, I'm so hot. Let us direct
- 32:55you to a cooling center. To find out where you
- 32:57can get - You're making that up. To a cooling
- 32:58center. What? Primary locations include the -
- 33:01Oh, this could be an Ask Paul. Uh, let's do on
- 33:04the fly. Here comes the question. Big or small,
- 33:08make your guess before we call. The game begins.
- 33:10It's Ask Paul. Brought to you by Pfizer. Coppertone.
- 33:15To call 211 to find out where you can get - to
- 33:18a cooling center. Primary locations include include
- 33:22what? Include the ice machine at Bucky's outside
- 33:25Houston, Texas. It's so big that 10 people can
- 33:28get in there and line up like sardines and cool
- 33:30themselves off. What if I just stand adjacent
- 33:31to it, like, let's say 20 yards away? Well, if
- 33:33you're at the Circle K, then I guess you can
- 33:36stand next to it, but it won't be as good as
- 33:37getting into it like the pool or the fountain.
- 33:41Is that is that your final answer? That's my
- 33:43final answer. Find out where you can get to a
- 33:47cooling center. Primary locations include the
- 33:50Spokane Public Library branches and city... During,
- 33:53we'll keep it especially cool during transgender
- 33:55story hour. I was just going to say tranny hour
- 33:57is going to be extra icy. I'm hot, what do I
- 34:00do? Go to the library. Not the right kind of
- 34:02ice. Include the Spokane Public Library branches
- 34:04and city of Spokane community centers. Sweet.
- 34:07I'm so glad that we pay tax dollars for our libraries
- 34:09so people can go and get cool, because that's
- 34:11what libraries are for. Uh, well not only libraries,
- 34:15but also city of Spokane community centers. Now
- 34:18the hottest day I have an idea. I'd like to submit
- 34:21a suggestion. Every city council office should
- 34:26be open for cohabitation with the people. Like
- 34:29if you're hot, just go bother your neighborhood
- 34:32council member and hang out in their office.
- 34:34I guarantee you the AC is cranked up or find
- 34:37the governor's office. or find the mayor's office,
- 34:40go hang out with one of your glorious leader
- 34:42leader leaders because you know their AC is working.
- 34:44Of course it is. I am the mayor. And I am cooled
- 34:48off to perfection. Now the hottest day of the
- 34:51week is approaching on Tuesday and taking these
- 34:54pieces of advice can lead to not experiencing
- 34:57heat exhaustion. You might find me... Do you
- 35:02hear the phrasing? It's so good. Taking these
- 35:05pieces of advice can lead to not experiencing
- 35:08heat exhaustion. It is like the most tortured
- 35:10grammatical... And taking these pieces of advice
- 35:14can lead to not experiencing heat exhaustion.
- 35:18You might find me over here by the fountain on
- 35:22Tuesday cooling off. But she just said being
- 35:24by the fountain wasn't good enough. Guess she's
- 35:27gonna be directing people away from where she's
- 35:29doing what she's doing given that it's not effective
- 35:31I guess over here. Hey, you're not fountaining
- 35:35correctly go to the library exhaustion you might
- 35:39find me over here by the Fountain on to say cooling
- 35:43off to avoid exhaustion. I'll send it back to
- 35:45you, Heidi Okay, there you go. I hate all of
- 35:48you. It's the mainstream that is looking out
- 35:51for that was the most condescending thing I've
- 35:54heard all day And I've been up early. Oh God,
- 35:58it's so good. That is how you would talk to preschoolers
- 36:03who are just now finding out about heat and electrolytes
- 36:06and how fountains work. Now kids, shade is cooler
- 36:11than the sun. And if you follow my instructions,
- 36:14you too will learn how to not get too hot. Well,
- 36:19even if you stay cool, you might die of bird
- 36:21flu. The farms in Idaho have been hit with the
- 36:23bird flu. State officials say it is an animal
- 36:26health issue, not a food safety risk. The bird
- 36:27hits the windshield. So right now, 71 dairies
- 36:30are under quarantine. Wait a minute. I have another
- 36:31question, Scott. I'm sorry. I got to interject
- 36:33again. So first, it was raw milk that was raw
- 36:36sewage. Are they going to tell us that regular
- 36:37milk is bird sewage? No, of course not. Raw milk?
- 36:41Think of it as raw sewage. They're going to shill
- 36:43on behalf of pasteurization. Just don't you worry.
- 36:46So the cows got bird flu, but their milk is still
- 36:48OK to drink. Yeah. I don't know why. Why is that
- 36:51so complicated? Because it's pasteurized and
- 36:52the mainstream media likes it. OK. OK. 71 dairies
- 36:55are under quarantine. A Treasure Valley pool.
- 36:58And remember, quarantine is where healthy people
- 37:01stay inside their houses. You know what the problem
- 37:02is? The cows weren't wearing their masks. I'm
- 37:05glad you put an S on masks because you're one
- 37:07of the few people that remembers they said two
- 37:09masks. Plural. Double. That's a really fancy
- 37:18way of saying kill all your animals. Kill them
- 37:21all. That sucks. The system is turn them into
- 37:31steak. There it is. store. I'm so glad to know
- 37:40that bird flu doesn't kill the cows. It's heavily
- 37:44fecal contaminated. Think about, you know, where
- 37:46the cows, you know, their feces are. The good
- 37:50news is most cows recover and pasteurization
- 37:52kills the virus long before milk or cheese gets
- 37:56to the store. This is not a food safety or consumer
- 37:59issue. This is an animal health and a business
- 38:02continuity. But when it's the other dairies that
- 38:05we don't like and there are no issues at all,
- 38:08it will kill you. Got to pasteurize. And a business
- 38:12continuity issue for the dairy facilities. And
- 38:15now we know what it is. We know how to treat
- 38:17it. We know how to diagnose it. You know, it's
- 38:20really just kind of one of those things that
- 38:23we manage in our businesses now. Bird flu has
- 38:26historically been introduced by wild ducks and
- 38:28geese. The strain in Idaho right now is spreading
- 38:30primarily from cow to cow. Experts hope this
- 38:34hot, dry summer weather, as well as good biosecurity,
- 38:37should help slow the latest wave of infection.
- 38:40Slow the wave. OK, so hot, dry weather is good
- 38:43for fighting bird flu in the cows. So which is
- 38:49it? Like climate change good? Climate change
- 38:52bad? Tell me what to think. I don't know. Bird
- 38:55flu, not bad when it's the right cows that are
- 38:58getting it. But lack of bird flu will kill us
- 39:01if it's the wrong cows who don't get it. And
- 39:04pasteurization takes care of everything in the
- 39:05first place. Pasteurization takes care of it.
- 39:07That's actually that's what we should have done
- 39:08for covid. We all should have pasteurized ourselves.
- 39:10Yeah. If we just boiled ourselves for a couple
- 39:12of minutes, we would have been sterile. Yeah.
- 39:15We solved the problem. Now we just need to build
- 39:18a time machine. Good times. There you go. King
- 39:22Ag is alive and well in Idaho. I'll never forget
- 39:24that, man. What was that? Five or six episodes
- 39:26ago when they were like, don't fuck with King
- 39:28Ag. And now I just can't unhear it. And everything
- 39:31is like, oh, yeah, no, don't. They get their
- 39:34way in Idaho. That was what was that unpapered,
- 39:39I believe. Right. Maybe. Yeah, there it is. Ag,
- 39:46fifth generation issues in that building, fifth
- 39:50generation. Also stands for amongst the kids
- 39:53these days. It's a short for being aggro and
- 39:56aggro for being overly aggressive unnecessarily
- 39:58So so I think this tracks this is apropos king
- 40:01ag and representative Stephanie Mickelson Price
- 40:04I want to find I want to find him saying Andrew
- 40:07says Idaho agriculture has had enough of issues
- 40:10that don't support their industry I'm very hopeful.
- 40:13We're gonna change some things this primary season
- 40:15Agriculture is king in Idaho. Zygerfeld says
- 40:18agriculture may be king Okay, so there it is.
- 40:21Let's we'll isolate that agriculture is king
- 40:24in Idaho. Boom soundbite soundbite from Episode
- 40:2829 of this program. And this program, your no
- 40:32ID show runs on the value for value model. That
- 40:37means that we have no advertisers or sponsors
- 40:40on this program. Coppertone does not sponsor
- 40:42this show or Gatorade or gate and if they came
- 40:45knocking Well, I was gonna say we would tell
- 40:48them to pound sand But let's be honest about
- 40:50it if they were gonna make us the second and
- 40:52third trillionaires in the United Then you know,
- 40:54it depends on how many have to listen how many
- 40:56pallets of copper tone they offered up We'll
- 40:59work in trade. You know, we've heard you say
- 41:02like, you know cigars and ammunition and etc
- 41:04But have you considered sunscreen as a donation?
- 41:08Yeah value for value Well, considering how pasty
- 41:11white Scott and I both are, I think that's a
- 41:13valid. I have olive skin, man. Are you kidding
- 41:15me? That's my one percent North Africa. That's
- 41:17all of them. I'm Greek. Please not Italian pasty.
- 41:22Get out of here. Anyway, the value for value
- 41:26model. I struck a nerve is a simple one. Yeah.
- 41:30See, what I did was I stood adjacent to the shade.
- 41:32And I got a tan. So it turns out this whole time
- 41:35I've been needling the Jew angle. I just needed
- 41:36to talk about your lily white skin. This is not
- 41:40an accurate description. No, it's just not correct.
- 41:43Because this is what would happen on the brewing
- 41:44network where they would, you know, they kept
- 41:46referring to me as a ginger. And then I'd meet
- 41:49people in real life, like at, you know, whatever,
- 41:51brewers, whatever beer events, and people would
- 41:53be like, you're not a ginger. Like, yeah, you
- 41:55have like a little red tinge in here, but you
- 41:57don't have like freckles and orange hair. I was
- 41:59like, I know. So you got to like, you know, give
- 42:01people an idea. You can't just like say, say
- 42:05whatever you want. Well, Russell Mann does. Why
- 42:07can't I? Value for value is a really simple model.
- 42:13We try to bring the value with every episode
- 42:15of this program that we produce. It comes out
- 42:16every Thursday. There's no pay walls. There's
- 42:18no subscriber only content. There's nothing like
- 42:20that. There's just the show. We try to make it
- 42:24valuable and we try to make it valuable for you
- 42:27the producers You're not just listeners. You
- 42:30are producers You help us produce the show by
- 42:32contributing value back with your time talent
- 42:35or treasure and that means many things many different
- 42:38ways that you can Give us value back return some
- 42:41value if you get value out of this program time
- 42:44and talent means sending in news articles, the
- 42:48things that you think we might have missed things
- 42:49that tickle your fancy that you think would be
- 42:51fun to for us to cover on the show. boots on
- 42:54the ground reports your area of expertise. Everyone's
- 42:57an expert in something we love getting those.
- 42:59All of this can be done at no ID show .com there's
- 43:01a contact button if you don't already have our
- 43:03emails and phone numbers and stuff please send
- 43:04us a message via the contact widget. You can
- 43:07also sign up for the newsletter on the website.
- 43:09There's a sign up button. You just enter in your
- 43:11email and there's a once a week newsletter that
- 43:13covers the goings on in Idaho and just it covers
- 43:16the topics of that week's episode of the show.
- 43:20Word of mouth is also very, very, very much appreciated.
- 43:22Typically, that's the best form of advertising,
- 43:25at least around here. Word of mouth. Big time.
- 43:28Yeah. Tell your friends, tell your enemies. We
- 43:30really appreciate it either way. Send people
- 43:32the link. Let them know about the show if you
- 43:34think that they would find it valuable. I've
- 43:36been told that it's a fun way, a fun and different
- 43:38way to sort of stay up on local news and politics
- 43:41without really following local news and politics.
- 43:44Yeah, well, we don't claim to be accurate. We
- 43:46just claim to be opinionated. So and we also
- 43:49claim to be olive skinned. So take that for we
- 43:51claim a lot of things. So yes time and talent
- 43:55and treasure all the ways to return value, please
- 43:58participate in in in the show the more feedback
- 44:01we get the more we have an understanding of Stuff
- 44:04we're doing that works skin toner for Scott What
- 44:07was that skin toner for Scott? Skin Oh toner
- 44:11skin toner toner. Yes. We'll take that as well
- 44:14B4B. I'm just gonna stand adjacent to the skin
- 44:17toner. That should do it Treasure is another
- 44:21way to support this program. If you're like,
- 44:23well, I don't have any time and I'm not talented.
- 44:25Well, you can always just shoot us. Shmeckles
- 44:27are great. Shmeckles. Treasure is extremely appreciated
- 44:31and of course is necessary to keep the lights
- 44:32on around here. And if, you know, if we're not
- 44:34going to get treasure from Coppertone or Gatorade.
- 44:39You know the coca -cola company or anything thereabouts
- 44:42or draw it from you forcibly By stealing it.
- 44:46Oh, i'm sorry. I mean taxation Well, we got to
- 44:48generate fiat currency somehow and that would
- 44:51be you the producers returning treasure Please
- 44:53go to noidshow .com to do all of that doing so
- 44:56contributing treasure back makes you an executive
- 44:58producer And i'd like to now only we will read
- 45:02your note Of course if you have anything to send
- 45:04in along with your note along with your donation
- 45:07and all three executive producer sent notes this
- 45:10week, so that's cool. And I would like to start
- 45:13here with the agenda archaeologist who sent in
- 45:19a row of ducks, two two dot two two, and said,
- 45:23dearest keepers of the deconstruction, greetings
- 45:26from the banks of Lake Ponderay, where I've been
- 45:30operating an unofficial Bureau of Narrative Calibration
- 45:34from the back room of an abandoned bait shop.
- 45:37From the outside, it looks like I'm restoring
- 45:39vintage outboards. In reality, I'm decoding the
- 45:42subliminal messages hidden in city council agendas
- 45:45and measuring the fluoride content of coffee
- 45:47with a Harbor Freight Multimeter. Thanks to no
- 45:52ID. I have finally stopped yelling at my truck
- 45:54radio and started yelling at my podcast instead
- 45:57progress Please accept this modest row of ducks
- 46:01Which I raised by collecting all the loose change
- 46:03left in the grocery store self checkout machines
- 46:05I consider it a voluntary tax refund Can I get
- 46:10now he's this is an interesting one and it's
- 46:12not the first time but it's the first time in
- 46:14a while. He's requesting sound drops. He said
- 46:17can I get a why are you pissing on me followed
- 46:20by the that's the least Idaho thing I've ever
- 46:22heard. The agenda archaeologist definitely. Why
- 46:26are you pissing on me? That is the least Idaho
- 46:30thing I have ever heard. Thank you agenda archaeologist,
- 46:35I love that email that was fantastic great note.
- 46:38Yeah, thank you I have a tip for you though on
- 46:41how to stay less hot Archaeologist there is a
- 46:44better deposit to be made on returning the shopping
- 46:47carts at the airport They give you more money
- 46:49back for that. So next time when you come to
- 46:51us, you can do a three three three three You
- 46:54just gotta go to the airport and return all the
- 46:56shopping carts. There you go. I learned that
- 46:58from Tom Hanks Next up is anonymous and anonymous
- 47:05sent 179 82 and It's there's some numerology
- 47:12there I believe but I'll read the note it says
- 47:14your MSM deconstruction continues to be of value
- 47:18to me So here is some value back I encourage
- 47:22all who get value from your podcast to do the
- 47:25same to help quote keep the lights on and He
- 47:29said anonymous PS well And I'm not really sure
- 47:32why he wants it anonymous. He's just basically
- 47:33saying it's a numerology thing. 179. Do you know
- 47:37what the numerology is on it? Because I don't.
- 47:39Yes, because I know who this is. And so I messaged
- 47:42them and asked and they said it is 9 .99. So
- 47:48it's it's a shiny schmeckle times 18 times 18.
- 47:53Oh, OK, cool. That's like. Double numerology
- 47:57or it's like numerology squared and this is so
- 47:5918 cubed in the in Jewishness is It's it's high.
- 48:06It's it's um, it means life So if you see the
- 48:09symbol for it, sometimes you'll see it on like,
- 48:10you know, it's like a necklace or whatever that
- 48:12number Yes, it's like I am Which is to life.
- 48:16To life? Yeah, so numbers and words can be the
- 48:18same. So we're on episode 30. Does it correspond
- 48:21to a particular verse in the Talmud? Or what
- 48:24does that correspond to? Good question. Let's
- 48:26ask the robot. L 'chaim to life, the number 18
- 48:31in Hebrew. What is the origin of that? Or the
- 48:34number 179... 32? 82? So the number 18 in Hebrew
- 48:40is significant because it's represented by the
- 48:42letters ket and yud. In gematria, which is a
- 48:45traditional Jewish system of assigning numerical
- 48:47values to letters, these two letters add up to
- 48:4918. As a result, 18 is considered a symbol of
- 48:52chai, which means life, and people often give
- 48:55gifts or donations in multiples of 18 to symbolize
- 48:57good fortune or life. On the other hand, the
- 49:00number 179 doesn't have a similar traditional
- 49:02significance in gematria. Okay, so the overarching
- 49:06total does not, but the underlying subtotals
- 49:10of that number do. Okay. Yes. And we're on episode
- 49:1336, which is double high. So I believe that.
- 49:17I wish I was triple high right now, but all I
- 49:19have is coffee in front of me, unfortunately.
- 49:21Well, that's a really cool, we do love numerology
- 49:24and whatever value means to you, which is many
- 49:27different things to many different people, and
- 49:29to Anonymous here, 9 .99 times 18, and that led
- 49:33to 179 .82, and it is greatly appreciated, Anonymous,
- 49:36very appreciated. And yes, his message hopefully
- 49:39does not fall in deaf ears. It does help keep
- 49:41the lights on when you send value back. If you
- 49:44find our program valuable, that's the proposition.
- 49:46And we do have one more this week. Thanks, Scott's
- 49:48mystery friend that I don't believe he actually
- 49:50has. You only have one friend. It's me, dude.
- 49:52I think you got other friends. Well, of course,
- 49:55I only run with the other trillionaire, you know,
- 49:57so you got to keep like company. Oh, me and Elon.
- 50:00Who else is in that category? At least you've
- 50:02got good taste. Here is one more and it is from
- 50:06Executive producer this week is Debbie Debbie
- 50:09and Debbie sent in one two dot three four. So
- 50:13another numerology one. That's awesome Debbie
- 50:16said Paul and Scott every headline needs a 20
- 50:19-minute debrief and three rabbit trails before
- 50:22I'll believe it But I appreciate having a place
- 50:25to go where headlines get the CSI treatment instead
- 50:27of the weather report treatment If you ever get
- 50:30really big, please become insufferable slowly
- 50:33so the rest of us have time to adjust. Stay suspicious.
- 50:38That's Debbie from Rathdrum. Don't you worry,
- 50:39Debbie. We will make sure our PSAs are particularly
- 50:42condescending over time. Dude, you know, when
- 50:47I've said that my first like radio job at 18
- 50:51was running the board for Loveline, which is
- 50:54a nationally syndicated program. And I was doing
- 50:55it for the Santa Barbara affiliate. I would go
- 50:57in at night and do that show. And, you know,
- 50:59you would run you would run local commercials.
- 51:01So when they would throw it to break, because
- 51:03they were broadcasting out of LA and everybody
- 51:04was syndicated nationally. Well, all the affiliates,
- 51:07you know, you run local commercials. So when
- 51:10the, you know, like, well, this will be right
- 51:11back after these messages. Well, I would drop
- 51:13out the board feed and then plug in all the local
- 51:16commercials for Santa Barbara businesses and,
- 51:18you know, you know, 518 State Street and all
- 51:20these places that would run local commercials.
- 51:22Well, sometimes there weren't enough ad buys,
- 51:25you know, like maybe there'd be like a, you know,
- 51:27it's a five minute break and we had four minutes
- 51:28worth of ads to play. So I would bring back up
- 51:31the national feed for the last minute to fill
- 51:33that time. Well, the national feed was always
- 51:36broadcasting PSAs. It was government funded messaging
- 51:41on the national feed. And literally there was,
- 51:44dude, I gotta try to find it. There was one that
- 51:47ran the entire time that I did for four and a
- 51:50half years. And it ran before I ever even was
- 51:53working at KJEE. Like I'm pretty sure the entire
- 51:56run. of love line and syndication. They would
- 51:59run a airplane turbulence PSA that you have to
- 52:03be really, it was a 60 second spot from the federal
- 52:06whatever of whatever that was like, you have
- 52:08to be really like, make sure you buckle up every
- 52:10time you fly. You know how I get angry at these
- 52:14public service announcements. You came to life
- 52:16when I walked in the room and heard this one.
- 52:17Yeah, because I believe it just sort of wastes
- 52:20everyone's money and time. This guy sounds like
- 52:21discount Ben Stein. If you want to do a public
- 52:23service announcement, that's Adam Carolla. Oh,
- 52:26well, they're both Jews. Carolla's not a Jew.
- 52:29He could be. He's Italian. He's a discount Jew.
- 52:32Otherwise known as a discount Jew. And Dr. Drew
- 52:35at Pinsky. No, they're not. See, this is why
- 52:37we get along so well, because you're the genuine
- 52:40article, Scott, and I'm just the 50 cent piece
- 52:42over here. Right. But we complement each other
- 52:44really well. So you see, yeah, you see a physician
- 52:47and a guy with a nasally voice and you assume
- 52:49they both must be Jews. I don't know why you
- 52:51would think that. I like a French press. Scott
- 52:53serves a French press with all of the accoutrements
- 52:55and things. That's why that's, you know, like
- 52:57I'm one level. He's the next level. It works.
- 53:00What a tough thing your body is. Okay, that's
- 53:02how it starts. What a tough thing your body is.
- 53:04No, this is, this is the actual PLSA. Yeah, listen.
- 53:08Get ready to stop it. It's built to withstand
- 53:09bending, pinching, stewing, swimming, bumping,
- 53:17tickling, shaving. Loud noises. This sounds like
- 53:24a regular night at my house. They've been peeking
- 53:27through my windows. Where's the kid he's eating
- 53:30chicken feet again So it's basically goes through
- 53:36the entire it goes through all of these things
- 53:38that your body is built to withstand Yeah. Does
- 53:54this sort of imply that you're out of control,
- 53:56you're going through an intersection? Or that
- 53:57maybe your body isn't meant to handle what the
- 54:00potential harm could be that befalls one who's
- 54:03rollerblading? Fair amount of deaths, compound
- 54:06fractures. By the way, more people die in high
- 54:11school football every year nationally than die
- 54:14in the PSA they're about to explain to us. But
- 54:17let's hear what could be worse than all of this.
- 54:31Hey, you soft sacks of meat stuck inside a metal
- 54:47tube. You know what you should be scared of?
- 54:50Turbulence. We ought to line this right up with
- 54:52the other one we just had today. So what you
- 54:54don't know about turbulence and water fountains
- 54:57will kill you. More at 11. Sponsored by Boeing.
- 55:03Yes, Boeing. Taking the turbulence so you don't
- 55:05have to. We also make missiles. Why do we need
- 55:19a PSA about something that makes sense? Anyway,
- 55:22you get the idea. If we're going to listen to
- 55:24anybody yelling, it's going to be me yelling.
- 55:26This ran on nationally syndicated rate. Those
- 55:28are not cheap ad buys. And it ran for more than
- 55:33a decade. Every single commercial break. How
- 55:36much taxpayer money do you think was burned on
- 55:39on PSA's? Where your safety belt on an airplane
- 55:42by the FAA, the very same agency that makes it
- 55:45hard for traffic controllers to get certified.
- 55:48Oh my Lord. Okay. And that was just one example.
- 55:52So I forget why we're talking about PSAs. How
- 55:54do we get into that? Here's all you need to know.
- 55:57This is the same governmental body and agency
- 55:59that regulates flight. They didn't invent it.
- 56:03They just regulate it. Yeah. We live in a simulation.
- 56:08We definitely do. What a tough thing your body
- 56:11is. One of them was childbirth. It was literally
- 56:15like childbirth. And then there's the sound of
- 56:16a baby crying. Childbirth? Your body's built
- 56:19to withstand it. Sponsored by the National Association
- 56:22of OBGYNs. Yes, OBGYNs. Protecting your vajayjay.
- 56:27That's for you, Jim, with a G. OK, so thank you.
- 56:31That thus concluded the Value for Value segment.
- 56:34We love America? Here on No ID. You want to just
- 56:38blast right into second half of show here? Yeah,
- 56:40I actually have a song. Oh. Uh, but you said
- 56:43we could insert it later. So if you want to do
- 56:45so, I'm not even going to tell you on air. We'll
- 56:47just, I'll just ask you to do it off air and
- 56:49we got a good one. I do not have a Scott's shot.
- 59:58I apologize. I've been traveling. I've been...
- 1:00:02Yeah, anyways, I have a series of good excuses,
- 1:00:05but that is what they are, excuses, and I don't
- 1:00:06have one today, so I apologize. But you got the
- 1:00:08greatest gift of all, Scott, and that's the shot
- 1:00:11I'm just gonna physically give you. Oh, boom.
- 1:00:13Right in the mouth. I was looking for... It's
- 1:00:16gonna be even sweeter when I... Bankrupt you
- 1:00:18a poker this evening. Oh rots a rock, dude. You're
- 1:00:21gonna need it Make sure you add them sit far
- 1:00:23enough apart that you guys can't touch toes and
- 1:00:26collude. Oh, yeah Says the guy who brought about
- 1:00:2815 marked decks got it marked with awesomeness
- 1:00:32These things are cool. I'll showed up with a
- 1:00:33lot of cool card decks. He collects them It's
- 1:00:36I'm not a collector of things. I'm actually a
- 1:00:38minimalist in a lot of ways not like the arrogant
- 1:00:41I'm a minimalist way because I have stuff but
- 1:00:43most my stuff has utility this is one of the
- 1:00:45few spots where Own these things and I almost
- 1:00:48never get to use them. So when we when I knew
- 1:00:51we were having a card game today It was like
- 1:00:53hell. Yeah, I'm bringing my collection and we're
- 1:00:55gonna Couple of these decks of cards are gonna
- 1:00:57see the light of day finally and we're gonna
- 1:00:58use them. I'm excited I can't wait. Let me show
- 1:01:01you let me show you my collection Let's do here
- 1:01:04for a second half a show. I have three different
- 1:01:07forms of Well, I don't even know how to describe
- 1:01:11it we have here's how the state is going to execute
- 1:01:15you if it deems you worthy of execution, how
- 1:01:17it's going to read your information and cite
- 1:01:21you and extract more revenue from you if it deems
- 1:01:23it necessary, or it's going to make you automatically
- 1:01:27a citizen if you're born on this soil. So say
- 1:01:29at the state, which one do you want to start
- 1:01:30with? Wow, I don't know. They're all equally
- 1:01:34terrible. The third thing should be illegal.
- 1:01:39The first two will kind of lead to each other.
- 1:01:42Like, you know, if you don't play by their rules
- 1:01:44when they're citing you, then you then they will
- 1:01:47execute you. But with less ceremony is like,
- 1:01:50do you want to die by firing squad or do you
- 1:01:52want to die by firing squad with less paperwork?
- 1:01:56Okay, let's do that one then continue our live
- 1:01:58team coverage. If they if they deem you worthy
- 1:02:00for execution, like over the long term and they
- 1:02:03take the process to do it, it's years and years
- 1:02:04and years and it's a firing squad. If they just
- 1:02:06make a snap decision because they have qualified
- 1:02:08immunity and you didn't pay your taxes and they
- 1:02:10come bust down your door, a lot less paperwork.
- 1:02:13and it takes a lot less time, but you still get
- 1:02:15the firing squad. America landed the free because
- 1:02:20of the brave. Continue our live team coverage
- 1:02:22at 6 30 and a closer focus on Idaho specifically
- 1:02:25and the major change To the death penalty policy
- 1:02:28becoming the only state with firing squad as
- 1:02:31their primary method of execution Pulsinger Bradley
- 1:02:34Warren following the new policies that will affect
- 1:02:36Idaho statewide Yeah, Sean. I've been emailing
- 1:02:38with the Department of Corrections and the state
- 1:02:40of course making the firing squad its primary
- 1:02:43method making lethal injection a secondary method
- 1:02:47for execution. Idaho is the first state to make
- 1:02:50it the primary method, but joins five other states
- 1:02:53that utilize it at all. The policy couldn't be...
- 1:02:56You know, it just occurred to me, why don't we
- 1:02:58just have some redundancy baked into this? Why
- 1:03:00not put cinnamon in the electric chair, inject
- 1:03:03the vein with the Zyklon or whatever it is, and
- 1:03:07then also just pump them full of lead? You know,
- 1:03:10you got to get it done. Well, first off, because
- 1:03:11it would be too effective. I don't want that.
- 1:03:14It's really hard to do a cry for help style execution
- 1:03:17when you use effective methods. She just took
- 1:03:21a bunch of Tylenol, man. She clearly just wanted
- 1:03:23to, you know, send a message. The policy couldn't
- 1:03:26be implemented immediately after the legislation
- 1:03:28was passed because the state had to build the
- 1:03:30proper facility for it. The initial legislation
- 1:03:33was sponsored by a Republican from Nampa. The
- 1:03:36first attempted or excuse me, the last attempted
- 1:03:38execution in the state of Idaho was in February
- 1:03:41of 2024. It was Thomas Creech, as you'll remember,
- 1:03:44who received the death penalty after beating
- 1:03:46another inmate to death in 1981, among other.
- 1:03:491981 33 years later three years, dude 30 33 I
- 1:04:00can't believe he didn't die of old age first.
- 1:04:02He must have been in like his early 20s or early
- 1:04:0430s or something. He almost said Creech was in
- 1:04:06his 70s. He was in his 70s? Yes. And I looked
- 1:04:09it up and I was like... Wait, when they executed
- 1:04:11him or when he committed the crime? Well, they
- 1:04:13didn't even execute him. They couldn't. They
- 1:04:15couldn't find a vein. So no, not when he committed
- 1:04:17it, when they attempted the execution. They couldn't
- 1:04:20find a vein. And I was like, what do you mean
- 1:04:22they couldn't find a vein? Like, oh, well, you
- 1:04:24know, he was old. They don't exist, Scott. They
- 1:04:26just... No more veins. I literally I mean my
- 1:04:29prompt here is like they couldn't find his vein.
- 1:04:31Okay well could they find his head to put a bullet
- 1:04:32in? This kind of problem is known medically as
- 1:04:38difficult venous access it can happen for a variety
- 1:04:40of reasons including age He was in his 70s veins
- 1:04:43that are small or scarred or fragile certain
- 1:04:45medical conditions prior IVs and blah blah blah
- 1:04:47But they like they couldn't find a vein this
- 1:04:50I guess you're free to go brought to you by DVA
- 1:04:52Yes, DVA you if you have trouble finding your
- 1:04:55veins try a gun. I Was also what like we covered
- 1:04:59I think it was many shows ago, but we covered
- 1:05:01how many? How many people have the state of Idaho
- 1:05:04executed in the last 50 years? I was like, what,
- 1:05:06six or four? Well, and the reason why they had
- 1:05:10to. Are you asking Johnson? The reason why they
- 1:05:14had to move, is it going to stop every time I
- 1:05:16talk? Yeah. Oh, I'm going to keep talking then.
- 1:05:18Fuck you, Johnson. Well, I guess we're not going
- 1:05:20to get out. No, I'll type it in like a Luddite.
- 1:05:23Or our dear listeners can just go back a couple
- 1:05:26of episodes when we covered that. Yeah, but that's
- 1:05:28you. I. You can't assume that everyone has heard
- 1:05:31everything. You've got to reset from time to
- 1:05:33time. You know, in the time you asked Chauncey,
- 1:05:35I could Google it twice. Yeah, but you didn't.
- 1:05:38You just talked over him. It's because, you know
- 1:05:40what? I'm having a good time living in the moment
- 1:05:42away from my phone, Scott. How many inmates has...
- 1:05:45Oh, you didn't even have your phone. I do have
- 1:05:47my phone. It's right here. But I haven't looked
- 1:05:49at it. How many inmates has the state of Idaho
- 1:05:51executed? I don't need to look at my phone when
- 1:05:55we're touching toes. Is that what that tickling
- 1:05:57is in the last 50 years? Yeah, Chauncey. Yeah,
- 1:06:00I dare you to get Chauncey to touch your toes.
- 1:06:03Since 1976, Idaho has executed three. I was right.
- 1:06:08Inmates, whatever. So, yeah, like I said, we've
- 1:06:10covered it before, but it's carried out 29 executions
- 1:06:14in total since 1864. But 26 of those occurred
- 1:06:17before the modern era of capital punishment,
- 1:06:20which is before the post 1976 reinstatement,
- 1:06:23because they changed a bunch of anyway. we don't
- 1:06:26ever do it to begin with. It's pretty wild. It's
- 1:06:29sort of like the parent who constantly threatens
- 1:06:31their kid, like, you know, not another step.
- 1:06:33If you, you know, if you cross this line, you're
- 1:06:36in big trouble now, mister. Okay. Okay. Well,
- 1:06:39you cross the line. Well, okay. Well, if you
- 1:06:40cross this line, you're in big trouble, mister.
- 1:06:43Right. I don't understand. Why do they always
- 1:06:46misbehave? who received the death penalty after
- 1:06:49beating another inmate to death in 1981 among
- 1:06:52other infractions. Actually, it's pretty impressive
- 1:06:54to beat someone to death, I have to say. It's
- 1:06:56impressive. Yes, with the rolled up Sunday New
- 1:07:00York Times. Other infractions. That's probably
- 1:07:02the best use of the New York Times you could
- 1:07:05ever come up with. Oh, it has some utility. Capital
- 1:07:07murder. other infractions. The state tried to
- 1:07:12use lethal injection, but it failed. That's what
- 1:07:16I paused and went like, what do you what? What
- 1:07:18do you mean? And we think society would collapse
- 1:07:20if we didn't have these people to govern us.
- 1:07:22What do you mean? How do you just think about
- 1:07:25this? Think about this for a minute. How do you
- 1:07:29fuck up executing somebody? Leave it to the government
- 1:07:34to botch it. Yeah, from my prompt when I was
- 1:07:38doing show prep and I was like, I don't understand.
- 1:07:39What do you mean it failed? The 12 -year combination
- 1:07:41of difficulties obtaining lethal injection drugs
- 1:07:44and legal. After the failed 2024 attempt. Attempt.
- 1:07:48That's when I was like, I don't understand. They
- 1:07:50were like, well, they couldn't find his vein.
- 1:07:51They couldn't find his vein. This dude has a
- 1:07:54higher likelihood of being executed by a rating,
- 1:07:57by police rating the wrong address than he has
- 1:08:01of being executed for his crimes. Flash bang
- 1:08:03the baby. I kid you not. I kid you not, statistically
- 1:08:07speaking, you are like 100 times more likely
- 1:08:10over these 50 years, at least 100 times more
- 1:08:12likely to be executed in your own home due to
- 1:08:15a wrong raid, where they raided the wrong address,
- 1:08:18than you are to be executed like you're supposed
- 1:08:19to be for your heinous crimes. of their infractions.
- 1:08:24The state tried to use lethal injection, but
- 1:08:26it failed. According to the Idaho Department
- 1:08:29of Corrections, the firing squad would operate
- 1:08:31on a volunteer basis, but members of the squad
- 1:08:34would have a series of requirements. Is there
- 1:08:36a waiting list? Where do I sign? The squad would
- 1:08:39have a series of requirements and trainings along
- 1:08:41with screenings to be eligible. I do a deep dive.
- 1:08:44So that begs questions. We're taking volunteers,
- 1:08:47but also you have to pass. You have to pass an
- 1:08:50assessment. So like background check. Who volunteers
- 1:08:52for that? Who also will pass the test? Squeaky
- 1:08:56clean. But also, what kind of rifle do I get?
- 1:09:00I do a deep dive. Please tell me it's a high
- 1:09:02capacity magazine. Following though that failed
- 1:09:05execution of Creech, the ACLU of Idaho called
- 1:09:08on the state to stop any further executions.
- 1:09:11So is there like a like a menu we get to choose
- 1:09:14from to pick our firearm, you know, they offer
- 1:09:18you options. Is there a menu for the inmates
- 1:09:20we get to execute? It's like, all right, here
- 1:09:22are your options. One of these five guys. Oh,
- 1:09:24definitely him. I pick him. I'll take this dude
- 1:09:28with a musket and that dude with an AR -15. In
- 1:09:32previous interviews with other groups, the state
- 1:09:34essentially made the case that it's more cost
- 1:09:36effective. than housing someone indefinitely.
- 1:09:39Now, remember what the alarm bell should go off
- 1:09:42whenever the state suddenly is interested in
- 1:09:45saving money. OK, so I mean, I don't want to
- 1:09:52be skeptical, but skeptical Paul is super duper
- 1:09:57skeptical. Also, I want to know who gets this,
- 1:10:01who gets the government contract on building
- 1:10:03a firing squad chamber. Like, how does that work?
- 1:10:05Who knows how to do that? Okay, let's... Should
- 1:10:09we ask the robot if it knows anything about who's
- 1:10:11building it? Kind of. I want to know who's brother
- 1:10:13-in -law got that contract. What information
- 1:10:17can you give me about who has the contract to
- 1:10:20build Idaho's firing squad facilities? I couldn't
- 1:10:27find specific details on which company has the
- 1:10:30contract for Idaho's firing squad facility. Oh,
- 1:10:32we know who it is then. Black Rock. If you already
- 1:10:37have the name or details, that's great. I'd be
- 1:10:39happy to help you analyze or understand any -
- 1:10:41Shut up, Chauncey. We don't need you anymore.
- 1:10:43He doesn't know. You're useless. It's not publicly
- 1:10:46available information yet. Probably Black Rock
- 1:10:49or Black Water. Sure. Or General Dynamics. Lockheed
- 1:10:55Martin. Lockheed Martin, yeah. Definitely Lockheed
- 1:10:58Martin. Alright here is the road pirates and
- 1:11:03they're more hand -wringing now that it is official
- 1:11:05that we don't have red stickers any longer We
- 1:11:07ought to do fun fun idea here. We ought to turn
- 1:11:10all of them loose the death row folks onto the
- 1:11:14Montana, South Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming
- 1:11:16Prairie and And then we just drone them And you
- 1:11:23like that's how we train our new drone operators
- 1:11:26It's just like a video game with very few consequences.
- 1:11:32Actually, I'm not super pro -death penalty. I'm
- 1:11:34torn on the issue. So I joke about it all the
- 1:11:36time. There are definitely... See, really, where
- 1:11:39we got it wrong is we turned it into a bureaucratic
- 1:11:40process. Really, we should just bring back good
- 1:11:44old -fashioned hangings. You know, you get your
- 1:11:46one appeal and then you're good to go and that's
- 1:11:48what happens. But reserved for actual heinous
- 1:11:51crimes. And that's it. Keep it simple. Heinous
- 1:11:54crimes like... Traffic infractions? Beginning
- 1:11:57this week, several new laws will be taking effect.
- 1:11:59One of the most noticeable changes is this little
- 1:12:01registration sticker. It's a thing of the past,
- 1:12:03but vehicle registration is not. A Nampa neighborhood
- 1:12:07reporter, Keith Burrell, writing along with Nampa
- 1:12:08police to learn how they can verify... I'm pretty
- 1:12:13sure that was somebody doing a license plate.
- 1:12:15I'm glad you caught that, because this friendly
- 1:12:18neighborhood reporter was... He was... Putting
- 1:12:22on a new license plate like he like he was like
- 1:12:25on his side on the asphalt with a with a screw
- 1:12:28gun Replacing a license plate while he was doing
- 1:12:31this so they got the number they got the number
- 1:12:33of Screws, correct. There's four of them. Well,
- 1:12:36depending on your rig, there's four of them.
- 1:12:37But I've never, ever heard anybody screwing a
- 1:12:39license plate that fast. Yeah, I know. You're
- 1:12:42saying like air powered tools to do that. And
- 1:12:44done. I'm your Nampa neighborhood reporter Keith
- 1:12:46Burrell, writing along with Nampa police to learn
- 1:12:48how they can verify if a car is registered or
- 1:12:50not. Oh, how can they? ITD says dropping those
- 1:12:53stickers will save about $300 ,000 a year in
- 1:12:55printing and mailing costs. But the agency says
- 1:12:58the remaining registration process is not changing.
- 1:13:00If you don't register your vehicle, and you were
- 1:13:03to get pulled over. You'll get cited. You've
- 1:13:06got to have a registered vehicle here. So the
- 1:13:08process on the back end is no different. For
- 1:13:11law enforcement, the change is not about whether
- 1:13:13registration still matters. It's about what officers
- 1:13:15can see and do from the road. Not having that
- 1:13:18sticker. I'm not going to have that visual cue
- 1:13:22to check that plate. Okay. Hey, let's break this
- 1:13:25one down. So not having that sticker. means I
- 1:13:29will have one less reason to harass and extort
- 1:13:31you randomly. They hate that. You see, this tells
- 1:13:35you everything you need to know about the state
- 1:13:37of modern policing is the fact that they are
- 1:13:41upset that they have one less excuse to bother
- 1:13:46you as you go about your business. Nothing criminal
- 1:13:48like, well, actual criminal, like with actual
- 1:13:51crime with actual victim. I mean, technically
- 1:13:52you break the law, you're a criminal, which means
- 1:13:54if you jaywalk, you're a criminal. That's why
- 1:13:57the word criminal is one I don't use very often.
- 1:14:00So I mean, dude, everybody's a criminal. We all
- 1:14:03do criminal stuff every day. Most of it's just
- 1:14:05not enforced. But this tells you exactly what
- 1:14:07you need to know about the state of policing.
- 1:14:10Check that plate to see if the registration is
- 1:14:12correct. On a ride along with Nampa police, I
- 1:14:14took Lieutenant Don Peck says there are misconceptions
- 1:14:17about how officers check registration. I don't
- 1:14:19have technology in my car. a license plate other
- 1:14:23than me physically putting it in my computer.
- 1:14:26So in other words, I do have the technology in
- 1:14:28my car to run your plate. We don't have the technology,
- 1:14:34except for the technology we have that does the
- 1:14:36thing on complaining about us not being able
- 1:14:37to do, that I also already use, which, oh, by
- 1:14:40the way, is a lot worse than texting and driving.
- 1:14:43But while I'm on the road, when I have all of
- 1:14:45these gadgets in my car, I'm on the phone, I'm
- 1:14:48on the radio, I'm on my laptop. And I'm looking
- 1:14:50at everybody else's stuff, too. But I will pull
- 1:14:53you over for distracted driving. What was the
- 1:14:56one from a few weeks ago where they were like,
- 1:14:58no, our officers have to pull over and use the
- 1:15:00pay phone during our ride along. One car caught
- 1:15:03my attention as a new idea, Scott. Every cop
- 1:15:07car in Idaho gets a pay phone. But it only takes
- 1:15:11coins. Vote for Paul. He has policy recommendations
- 1:15:16that are just tip top. No, I think it's fantastic
- 1:15:18because Not only will it make it easier to hear
- 1:15:21the cops coming when they jingle their way But
- 1:15:25they'll actually have skin in the game when they
- 1:15:27have to pay to make a phone call During our ride
- 1:15:30along one car caught my attention as that car
- 1:15:33does not have a sticker on He's probably he's
- 1:15:39probably moving drugs that car that doesn't have
- 1:15:41a license plate tag he's probably moving drugs
- 1:15:44Well, what's crazy is but now the cop can't pull
- 1:15:46them over Scott. What are we gonna do? What's
- 1:15:48weird is you'll hear like He it actually goes
- 1:15:51into effect tomorrow. So they were doing this
- 1:15:52ride along the day before So the cops like it
- 1:15:54doesn't matter now as of tomorrow. Oh, wait a
- 1:15:57minute So you're telling me you you can today
- 1:16:00you can listen as that car does not have a sticker
- 1:16:02on because it doesn't matter now Right as of
- 1:16:05tomorrow doesn't matter. But you know What's
- 1:16:08the difference of a day? The difference is that
- 1:16:10today you can pull him over but tomorrow Like,
- 1:16:15well, it doesn't matter anymore as of tomorrow.
- 1:16:17You know, you'd think he'd be pretty excited
- 1:16:18to get like one last one in. Yeah, exactly. He
- 1:16:22rolls up. Congratulations on what, officer? You
- 1:16:25pulled me over. This sucks. No, no, congratulations
- 1:16:27to me. You're my last one. It's like when Ryan
- 1:16:31says to Kelly, like, let's have sex one last
- 1:16:33time. Just one more for the road. What's the
- 1:16:36difference of a day? Lieutenant Peck says that
- 1:16:38is the point. Before July 1st a missing or expired
- 1:16:41sticker could still catch an officer's eye. Sad
- 1:16:44cop is sad. He doesn't have the technology except
- 1:16:48for the technology. No technology and he's a
- 1:16:50day early. Beginning this week that sticker no
- 1:16:53longer tells police whether the vehicle is actually
- 1:16:55registered or not. Peck says officers can still
- 1:16:57check but they'll have to manually run the plate.
- 1:16:59So I punch into my computer and then I have to
- 1:17:03go through and I have about eight different screens
- 1:17:06that return on it. What a bummer. And I see,
- 1:17:09oh, it's not 26, it's a 28. He says, Nampa patrol
- 1:17:13cars do not have automatic license plate readers
- 1:17:15and license plate readers around the city are
- 1:17:17not automatically checking every plate with the
- 1:17:19DMV for registration status. You're going to
- 1:17:22find law enforcement. Hey, here's what they just
- 1:17:23said. Officer so and so sadly admitted that we
- 1:17:28can't spy on you as much or as hard as we want
- 1:17:30to. And that's bad. And it makes me sad. That's
- 1:17:35an MSA and MSM reports it is like and so the
- 1:17:39road pirates can't surveil you as hard as we
- 1:17:43want them to and that's sad Meanwhile for the
- 1:17:47rest of us who are like not insane and actually
- 1:17:50value. I don't know liberty and independence
- 1:17:53What this is amazing that this is great to hear
- 1:17:56like yes good. Keep it that way you asshats You
- 1:18:00shouldn't be surveilling us Fuck you. My car
- 1:18:04doesn't have automatic license plate readers.
- 1:18:08How am I supposed to do my job? Payphone. Here's
- 1:18:11the last part of this clip. You're going to find
- 1:18:13law enforcement is running less plates. Good.
- 1:18:17To check registration. Good. They don't have
- 1:18:20the visual cue. They say it like it's a bad thing.
- 1:18:25Like that's that is just I'm sorry. I know I'm
- 1:18:28I'm I'm just hammering on this. He's exasperated.
- 1:18:30But really think about that. They are saying
- 1:18:33their lack of ability to harass, extort and surveil
- 1:18:37us is a bad thing. Fuck them. Also beginning
- 1:18:41July. Happy Independence Day. Also beginning
- 1:18:44July 1st, Idaho will have two new license plate
- 1:18:46options, a refresh. Then another doing the same
- 1:18:49thing from last show where they're like, Oh,
- 1:18:51and by the way, there's, there's a, there's a
- 1:18:53mountains and Eagles on the license plate. So
- 1:18:56citizen, we can't surveil you as hard as we'd
- 1:18:58like, but that's okay. Don't worry. Here are
- 1:19:01two more license plate for you to spend extra
- 1:19:03money to purchase. They're pretty. Also beginning
- 1:19:05July 1st, Idaho will have two new license plate
- 1:19:08options. A refresh of the agriculture plate with
- 1:19:11funds going to the Ag in the Classroom program.
- 1:19:13King Ag. Oh, a King Ag license plate, Scott.
- 1:19:15Idaho State Police Law Enforcement Project choice.
- 1:19:17Oh my gosh. I'm your Nampa neighborhood reporter.
- 1:19:20And the second option allows you to pay us more
- 1:19:24money to pay the road pirates more money. The
- 1:19:27ones who just got done complaining about how
- 1:19:29we can't surveil you as hard in any, if this
- 1:19:33were a movie or a show, a TV show, and there
- 1:19:36are movies and TV shows, loads and loads and
- 1:19:38loads of them that have these themes. In all
- 1:19:41of these TV shows, everybody who watches them
- 1:19:44roots for the rebels. But here we are in real
- 1:19:47life with this shit happening every day, all
- 1:19:51day, and the bad guys tell the truth about it.
- 1:19:54And you and I, are the rebels, but we're the
- 1:19:59bad guys. Most of society in the RL is rooting
- 1:20:03for the bad guys and backs the bad guys. Yes.
- 1:20:07Yes, officer. While I'm being pulled over, while
- 1:20:09they're being pulled over and extorted over the
- 1:20:11barrel of gun. Yes, officer. Oh, by the way,
- 1:20:13did you see that plate that I have on my car?
- 1:20:15I know it doesn't have a sticker and that makes
- 1:20:17you sad officer schmuck, but I did pay extra
- 1:20:19for my license plate and this particular license
- 1:20:22plate puts money right into the police fund.
- 1:20:26Hey Could you could you imagine the Hebrews?
- 1:20:30When the Roman soldiers come around and knock
- 1:20:32on their doors and be like, hey, so Herod says
- 1:20:35we're gonna have to kill all the babies It's
- 1:20:37not really we're not supposed to be this isn't
- 1:20:38our purview, but we're the muscle around here
- 1:20:40anyway so give us your babies because Jesus is
- 1:20:43coming and we got to kill him before he's old
- 1:20:44enough and Most of Jews go absolutely officer.
- 1:20:48I back the blue Like oh by the way, here's a
- 1:20:52couple Schmeckel's extra for your retirement
- 1:20:54fund I can't wait to see you next year Here is
- 1:20:59a comment on from the that was the YouTube clip
- 1:21:03of from Idaho new six That that came from and
- 1:21:06on that video most of them don't have any or
- 1:21:08maybe one or two comments or whatever This one
- 1:21:09had a lot Here's a comment from skip taggart
- 1:21:13eight one one six that I plugged into eleven
- 1:21:16labs that I thought was interesting This new
- 1:21:18law seems to give law enforcement new automatic
- 1:21:21probable cause to stop any Idaho registered vehicle
- 1:21:24with the premise of a registration check since
- 1:21:26the onboard computer process to run a plate is
- 1:21:28too complicated and unsafe to do while they're
- 1:21:31just following. Saving $300 ,000 quote unquote
- 1:21:35by eliminating the renewal sticker is just the
- 1:21:37state's way of trying to sell the public on the
- 1:21:39idea. While in reality, the police state gets
- 1:21:42a new avenue of encroachment. That seems to be
- 1:21:46what's sort of lurking beneath the surface here,
- 1:21:48beyond the headline. This is all just going to
- 1:21:50be a vehicle for automatic license plate readers
- 1:21:53and intersection this. And I understand that
- 1:21:55we already have the devices in our pocket that
- 1:21:57are doing all the tracking. So it's a little
- 1:21:59ridiculous because we're just like so tracked
- 1:22:01and surveilled. I don't even know where it begins
- 1:22:03and ends. But this is going to be just a way
- 1:22:07for the state to increase all of the automatic
- 1:22:10surveillance apparatuses. I'll admit, I actually
- 1:22:13didn't think of that angle. And I'm a little
- 1:22:15embarrassed that I didn't think of that angle.
- 1:22:17This guy is... Now I'm even more depressed. He's
- 1:22:21right. No, you're right. He's right. That's probably
- 1:22:24what's going to happen now. I didn't even think...
- 1:22:26See, because I don't think that way. I honestly
- 1:22:28typically don't think in that conniving, shitty
- 1:22:31ass way. I don't. I never underestimate the state's
- 1:22:35ability and the bureaucrats ability to be not
- 1:22:38intelligent, not wise, but clever and cunning.
- 1:22:41And shit, I think he's right. Yeah, this will
- 1:22:44be the excuse they need. It's like, well, we
- 1:22:46can't see the tags, so now we need the technology
- 1:22:50that we already have, but we need it better and
- 1:22:52more expensive on the taxpayer dime, so we can
- 1:22:55better harass the taxpayer. Shit. Shit. Yeah,
- 1:23:00good times. Well, if you would like to become
- 1:23:03a citizen under this apparatus, because as we
- 1:23:08said at the top of the show, Still seems to be
- 1:23:10better than a lot of other ones. So we don't
- 1:23:12try not to be ingrates or anything Yeah, but
- 1:23:15what we're doing is comparing shades of shit
- 1:23:17really seem like that in a lot of ways but a
- 1:23:20lot of people want to be a part of that shade
- 1:23:22of shit and so they come here and they have babies
- 1:23:24or so say if the whole birthright citizenship
- 1:23:27argument so here is an Idaho Idaho media coverage
- 1:23:31of that because it's been in the headlines. Idaho
- 1:23:33has one of the largest. Because the Supreme Court
- 1:23:35just made a ruling on it. That's why. Yeah. And
- 1:23:37it was actually one of the it's going to be a
- 1:23:40long reverberating ruling and one that is going
- 1:23:44to hasten. It's not going to lead to because
- 1:23:46we're already on that path. It will hasten the
- 1:23:48ruin of this nation as we know it. The country
- 1:23:51is already gone. The nation of America is fast
- 1:23:54approaching that fate as well. Demographics of
- 1:23:57destiny. Birthright citizenship. was not supposed
- 1:24:01to be designed the way they're using it now.
- 1:24:04Idaho has one of the largest Hispanic populations
- 1:24:06in the region and Tuesday's Supreme Court ruling
- 1:24:08on birthright citizenship is already being felt
- 1:24:11here locally. I'm your neighborhood reporter.
- 1:24:14And just like that, the entire Hispanic, the
- 1:24:16way this sounds like, and it's already being
- 1:24:18felt here locally. They all went out and had
- 1:24:19more babies. Presto, anchor babies. Idaho has
- 1:24:23one of the largest Hispanic populations in the
- 1:24:26region. What region? I probably the, I don't
- 1:24:29know, five state regions. Is that, is that it?
- 1:24:31But remember this also ties in with big ag King
- 1:24:34ag Scott, you don't mess with King ag. and the
- 1:24:38Hispanics who work for King Ag. Now, what do
- 1:24:41you think the reporter's name, the friendly neighborhood
- 1:24:43reporter who they dispatched to do this story,
- 1:24:45what do you think her name is going to be? I
- 1:24:46don't know, but I bet there are three hyphens
- 1:24:48and you have to roll a lot of ours. I'm your
- 1:24:50neighborhood reporter, Victoria Rodriguez. Oh,
- 1:24:53but just the one, but it's Victoria Rodriguez
- 1:24:56talking about birthright citizenship. Here we
- 1:24:58go. Victoria Rodriguez speaking with a birthright
- 1:25:00citizen and the Idaho Hispanic Foundation about
- 1:25:03what this could mean for people here in Idaho.
- 1:25:05I think that's something that's very beautiful
- 1:25:07about. America. It's it's known as the land of
- 1:25:09opportunities is where people go to chase their
- 1:25:11dreams. The U .S. Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected
- 1:25:14an effort to limit birthright citizenship, leaving
- 1:25:17in place the longstanding interpretation of the
- 1:25:2014th Amendment that grants U .S. citizenship
- 1:25:22to all children born on American soil. You want
- 1:25:26to know that fun fact, all four of the female
- 1:25:29Supreme Court justices voted yay. There's a term
- 1:25:33for this, Scott. It's also why the 19th Amendment
- 1:25:35should be repealed. suicidal empathy. Also, if
- 1:25:39you read any of the writings of any of the congressmen
- 1:25:42who debated the 14th Amendment back in the day
- 1:25:44in the 1800s when they were going over it, none
- 1:25:48of them talk about it being, you just come here,
- 1:25:51drop a baby, and you're immediately an American.
- 1:25:53In fact, most of them express, especially the
- 1:25:54ones who were against it, expressed that exact
- 1:25:56concern. And then a lot of the ones who were
- 1:25:58for it specifically notated that it wasn't just
- 1:26:01a catch -all. But the way that it's being interpreted
- 1:26:04now, You can get on a plane, go from Mexico City
- 1:26:08to Quebec, and if you happen to be over in Nebraska
- 1:26:11while you have a baby, that kid is now an American.
- 1:26:14Birthright! To all children born on American
- 1:26:17soil, regardless of their parents' immigration
- 1:26:23status, with limited exceptions. Or willingness
- 1:26:25to integrate, or cultural compatibility, or historical
- 1:26:31literacy, or anything. So hearing that the Supreme
- 1:26:35Court didn't allow this to pass was a joyful
- 1:26:39moment, of course. For Carolina Zamudio -Helico,
- 1:26:42the decision is deeply personal. Her father came
- 1:26:45to Idaho from Mexico on a work visa before eventually
- 1:26:49becoming a permanent resident, allowing Carolina
- 1:26:51to be born and raised in the United States. I
- 1:26:54was able to even attend college. So they did
- 1:26:56it the right way. What? Wait, wait, Scott. They're
- 1:27:01interviewing somebody who did it through the
- 1:27:03proper channels. What? But the issue at stake
- 1:27:06right now is the people who don't do it through
- 1:27:09the proper channels and then drop a bunch of
- 1:27:11anchor babies here. Birthright! They're conflating
- 1:27:13two different things here intentionally. Of course.
- 1:27:16I was able to even attend college, you know,
- 1:27:19something that... seemed so unreachable. You
- 1:27:23know, and so my life has dramatically changed.
- 1:27:27She credits those opportunities to the sacrifices
- 1:27:29her parents made in pursuit of a better life
- 1:27:32in Idaho. Thanks to my parents sacrifice and
- 1:27:35everything, all of the hard work out of the long
- 1:27:37hours, I'm able to have the life that I do now
- 1:27:40and accomplish so many of the goals that for
- 1:27:43them when they were g seem like a possibility.
- 1:27:47Th says many families had sp what would happen
- 1:27:51if birth was no longer guaranteed It's good to
- 1:27:57know the co and so it gives a sense o for a lot
- 1:28:06of people who How come nobody ever interviews
- 1:28:14the sons of Norway about this issue? How come
- 1:28:18whites in general have like no say over this
- 1:28:22issue? They don't ever interview the Scandinavian
- 1:28:24society or people in little Italy or actually
- 1:28:29nor Chinatown or anything like that. Isn't it
- 1:28:35interesting? Just again, things to simmer on
- 1:28:38is like, why is this not an issue with the with
- 1:28:41the European descent community. For the same
- 1:28:44reason that when they covered like the abortion
- 1:28:47rights, quote unquote, initiative, the they interviewed
- 1:28:50the woman who is for it. And when they go outside
- 1:28:53to find someone against it, they interview a
- 1:28:55man, even though you could easily do the opposite.
- 1:28:58Peace and comfort for more tellingly, this is
- 1:29:03this is actually this is bigotry in action via
- 1:29:06the MSM. where they are quite literally admitting
- 1:29:10that it is the Hispanic community in particular
- 1:29:12that is committing these, they are crimes, technically
- 1:29:15crimes and fraud and they're not obeying the
- 1:29:17law and it's all being said without being said.
- 1:29:21It was like, here now we have this ruling that
- 1:29:24makes it even easier for illegals to come here
- 1:29:26and drop anchor babies. Going live to you, Tanias
- 1:29:30Gutierrez, to talk to the Brown people. Let's
- 1:29:33see what the Brown people have to say about Breaking
- 1:29:37the law. Not just the brown people, but the brown
- 1:29:39people who are for this. It's the bigotry of
- 1:29:42low expectations. It's like the soft bigotry
- 1:29:44of low expectations type thing. And also wrapped
- 1:29:47in the Dances with Wolves, only the white man
- 1:29:49can save you paradigm too. You know, we're like,
- 1:29:52you have Avatar or Dances with Wolves or all
- 1:29:55these other movies out there or stories out there
- 1:29:57where it's all, it's very anti -white, but the
- 1:30:00main character and the savior is typically a
- 1:30:03white man. You know, it's so again, that's the
- 1:30:05same mentality is like voter ID is racist because
- 1:30:08blacks don't know how to get ID But don't worry
- 1:30:10we whites will help you out. Mm -hmm. Like this
- 1:30:13is ridiculous It's super racist. Yes, if you
- 1:30:16if you presented a woman who was saying how against
- 1:30:20the against abortion rights, or if you interviewed
- 1:30:23a Hispanic who was not for illegal immigration
- 1:30:27or birthright citizenship, it would be a very
- 1:30:29different presentation than what we're given.
- 1:30:30In any other scenario, if the Supreme Court made
- 1:30:32a ruling where parents who were straight up criminals,
- 1:30:38knowingly so, purposefully so criminals, but
- 1:30:41their kids got to benefit from it, it would be
- 1:30:44embarrassing to anybody involved. And if they
- 1:30:47went like, So the Supreme Court has ruled that
- 1:30:49if your dad steals a TV from Walmart, your son
- 1:30:54gets to keep it. The son of the father gets to
- 1:30:56keep it. TV right. Going now to Harlem to interview
- 1:31:00the demographic that this ruling impacts the
- 1:31:02most. Why would that be? Like, yeah, and we'd
- 1:31:06all be like, whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute.
- 1:31:08But here, nobody bats an eye. Actually, if it
- 1:31:14was that demographic, it'd be like, and now the
- 1:31:16Supreme Court ruling on how two parent households
- 1:31:20don't matter at all, going live to Brooklyn.
- 1:31:27Here's the final part of this clip. Peace and
- 1:31:29of comfort for a lot of people who are here.
- 1:31:34Executive director Mari Ramos says the ruling
- 1:31:36allows families to focus less on uncertainty
- 1:31:38and more on building their future. That dream
- 1:31:42of our parents that they work so hard. It allows
- 1:31:45them to focus less on being worried about getting
- 1:31:47arrested for breaking the law. and more at peace
- 1:31:51and comfortable with their life decisions. Well,
- 1:31:54it didn't. There's no red sticker, but it's a
- 1:31:56lowered 64 Midnight Blue Impala with the Cheechie
- 1:31:58Balls and the Mambo Number 5 on the back. Our
- 1:32:00parents that they work so hard is going to be
- 1:32:08able to continue and we're going to be able to
- 1:32:10continue to make this our home. For Catalina,
- 1:32:13that dream isn't limited to one community. Could
- 1:32:16you imagine if they interviewed like Americans?
- 1:32:18over in Germany or France. And because, dude,
- 1:32:22have you ever seen the process to become a citizen
- 1:32:25of those countries? if you go through the process,
- 1:32:28like the actual or Canada even. It's very laborious.
- 1:32:31And you can't and you're not considered German.
- 1:32:33Imagine considered French. You know, the Supreme
- 1:32:35Court of Canada comes out and is like, yeah,
- 1:32:37so you can do whatever you want. And then the
- 1:32:39broadcast, the MSM goes and now live to the American
- 1:32:42community in Vancouver to hear from how relieved
- 1:32:44they are that they don't have to go through the
- 1:32:47process that Canada has laid out for everybody
- 1:32:49else. I really love Canada. Americans themselves
- 1:32:53would look at that and be like, yeah, fuck those
- 1:32:55Americans. That's not cool. That's not how we
- 1:32:57do. But all of a sudden when they're brown, nah,
- 1:33:00that's okay. They're there. We pat their heads.
- 1:33:02The rules don't apply to you. That's okay. Good
- 1:33:05for you. They don't know where the DMV is. It's
- 1:33:07so condescending. That dream isn't limited to
- 1:33:10one community. This country was built on immigrants
- 1:33:13back. This country wouldn't... Oh, there it is.
- 1:33:15I was wondering when that... I think that's the
- 1:33:17beautiful thing about America. Meanwhile, President
- 1:33:19Donald Trump criticized the ruling in a post
- 1:33:21on Truth Social, calling it too bad for our country.
- 1:33:24And he hopes Congress will address the issue
- 1:33:27through legislation. We reached out to the Idaho
- 1:33:29Republican Party and Idaho Republican lawmakers.
- 1:33:33Which, frankly, is how it should be done in the
- 1:33:34first place. should be done through the legislative
- 1:33:36process. But we live in an era where almost nothing
- 1:33:38gets done through the legislative process because
- 1:33:40it can't. Everything is either done now via fiat
- 1:33:44executive board, or what little Congress does
- 1:33:48do typically is just delegated to the bureaucratic
- 1:33:51state. And it's just left up to the interpretations
- 1:33:53of the bureaucrats. Just like the founders envisioned,
- 1:33:56just like Republican lawmakers, but have not
- 1:33:59heard back at the Idaho State Capitol. I'm your
- 1:34:01neighborhood reporter, Victoria Rodriguez for
- 1:34:04Idaho News 6. Uh huh. So there you go. All right.
- 1:34:07I got to go. We do. So we're going to be getting
- 1:34:09out of here. Yep. Thirteen minutes. It's like
- 1:34:11a pretty standard length, actually. I thought
- 1:34:14we were going to have a little truncated show
- 1:34:15here because Paul has an APT, an appointment.
- 1:34:19But I think we're we're right on. Kind of our
- 1:34:21normal track here as far as show link goes. So
- 1:34:23yeah, up high. Thanks for checking out episode
- 1:34:28number 36, double high of no ID. And remember
- 1:34:33please that this is a value for value proposition.
- 1:34:37No ID is a value for value show. So. Please be
- 1:34:40the producers that you are and help us produce
- 1:34:42the program by Remembering us at no ID show calm
- 1:34:46and returning value with time talent or treasure
- 1:34:49if you find our program valuable The rest of
- 1:34:53the day. I think we're looking at some lounge
- 1:34:55time here sticks at the racketeer and Possibly,
- 1:35:01I think I can't mention what we're doing later
- 1:35:02after that. No Paul is shaking his head feverishly
- 1:35:06You know there's so many people - But you know
- 1:35:07what? We're gonna do it without license plate
- 1:35:09tags. There's no way for me to know if they're,
- 1:35:13you know, playing an illegal game other than
- 1:35:15my computer that will tell me if they're playing
- 1:35:17an illegal game. Or you could just find a payphone.
- 1:35:21Payphone? When is the last time you saw a payphone?
- 1:35:24I didn't know they existed. I really don't think
- 1:35:27they're around. Okay. No ID show .com guys. We'll
- 1:35:33be back for episode number 37 next week. And
- 1:35:37how much time do I have left? Actually, I see
- 1:35:39it coming down the bend. There's going to be
- 1:35:40in whatever town that was where that cop talked
- 1:35:42about the pay phone. They're going to lobby.
- 1:35:44to install a payphone right at the precinct office.
- 1:35:47This is our main communications device. This
- 1:35:49is our comms tree. So we're going to put it to
- 1:35:52a vote. There's going to be a levy for a payphone
- 1:35:55installation. Oh, it got voted down. Okay, we're
- 1:35:57going to tweak it and put it back on the ballot.
- 1:36:00Maybe you'll vote correctly. Somebody's brother
- 1:36:01-in -law owns a payphone company. It's in desperate
- 1:36:04need of resuscitation. Until next time, from
- 1:36:07Post Falls, I'm Scott. And I'm Paul. Taxation
- 1:36:09is theft. You love America?
