- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: To come back in that fashion is what champions do and I think they were a long way in showing that they might not win it Who knows, let's see how this season ends, but they are still in if we don't look at about the AR in in all food bowl It wouldn't be time to take you reckon.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: No, come on out like that's the story I think that's the most stolen one penalty I've seen.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think duckland rice has been the standout in that midfield and let's do me But I think he and how was it to do that for me Pedri dictates a game between your dictates again Yeah, I don't already look at zoom in that mold of players
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: Hello and welcome to Sports Illustrated Football Club, you're a new show here on Sports Illustrated.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: We aren't so weak breakdown, the biggest questions in football every single week with football and less lears, BZD are European football experts.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: In from the start, I'm a San Jose Missy, and myself, Jake and Cole, I like the big smile on your faces, or we have a lot to talk about today.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: How does it feel to be in from the sun?
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just excited to show the stage with the Gen Z today.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_02]: What are you, what are you, what do you come under?
- 0:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a boomer.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm good, man.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: You okay?
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: Where'd you want to start?
- 1:11[SPEAKER_01]: Should we start with Taurus?
- 1:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because where does this lead the Taurus?
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: No, poor Manchester City.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_01]: Probably one of the most crazy 15 minutes you'll see in the Premier League.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, it was so unpredictable, so much to break down.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_01]: But I guess the big question is, where does that lead Manchester City?
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think that felt like a moment yesterday.
- 1:28[SPEAKER_01]: Whenever it will be, it will be.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_01]: the city now closing the gap to six points and if they beat for them on Wednesday, it puts the pressure on also going to Thursday and cut like apps at three.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, where does it leave the Taurus?
- 1:40[SPEAKER_00]: Right, where it was before the game.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_00]: Six points of six points.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think the big thing for them is that they didn't fall down to nine because when you look at potential fixtures, when you look at the start of the season, where could the big teams really drop points and field away is always that game.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: I think you highlight especially for a Sonic Man City who
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: having one at end filled with a full crowd in what 23 years or something crazy like that.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: And the last time they beat them in general was in COVID, that's a tough ground for them.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: So this was one of those games where you look at City, one win in six or seven before the weekend started, could potentially drop more points and really give arsenal a massive opportunity or run away with this thing.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think you looked at this weekend, but credit to them because with 10 minutes left in this game, one note to Liverpool, you think.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: This is it.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's the season done.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_00]: The resilience and the mentality they show at the dig in and find not just an equalizer, but eventually a late winner and come away with a real snatch and grab in that manner shows you a real champion's mentality.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if they'll finish those champions because they're a long way to go.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: But to come back in that fashion is what champions do.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they went a long way in showing that they might not win it.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: Who knows?
- 2:43[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see how this season ends.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: But they are still in it.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, 85 minutes a day, live poor one nail up, an absolute worldie of a freaky, from Dominic Sebastian, very similar to that Arsenal Freaky kick.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: I actually wanted to get your thoughts on Donorama wherever you should have put an extra man in the wall, but he made up for it anyway, at the end of that massive massive save.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: But I like 85 minutes, live poor one nail up.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: Did you believe, City, you could come away with a point?
- 3:05[SPEAKER_01]: Let alone on three.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: at full time.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: No, it'll look the case and I was thinking, wow, this is going to be interesting because now Arsenal are alone with the pressure and then you could see what I come back.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's like, and I immediately thought of his words.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, oh, according to me, Guardiola is regretting it because he can see there is potential, but he doesn't see esteem going for it.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: And for me, yesterday was as an important signal.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_02]: because yes, now we're going to see the fixture and and Manchester City, they just need to manage this sort of gap until April, until that game at the THR and into weeks, Arsenal are going
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: 13 games to go, a stranger, things like that for a long way.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's a long way, it's a long way.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: Leas, you said about the fact that city haven't won a anthem for a long long time.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_01]: Is that really what felt like a statement win or was it actually a manner in which they're won the game?
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like not many teams go away from behind with that little time to go win the game.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: Is that what it felt like a statement win, especially if the rest of the season?
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: a mixture of both right like everyone you the the magnitude of this game but again I think it's also the fashion which they did it like that's our real for me snatch and grab you go to a big ground you play a team that in the past 10 years your game has defined the rivalry has defined the Premier League and you come away with that kind of win the final moments I think that penalty from Holland is so clutch that's safe from Gona Ruma feels so monumental now
- 4:37[SPEAKER_00]: If in 13 games it means absolutely nothing it means absolutely nothing but if you think city do turn it around You look at the moments where it might have swayed their way this feels like a pivotal moment Should we talk about that last goal?
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this allowed goal really.
- 4:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was just a really really crazy situation Obviously sits you two one up bull brakes, shirkie I mean when he actually hits that then thing it was gonna rakes the goal a lot.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then it's like a bit of a race between Holland and some boss lie
- 5:01[SPEAKER_01]: So boss like Paul's hard and shit, hard and Paul's then some more size of Paul goes over on.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: But I guess the question is, should the referees be using a bit more common sense here?
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: Should I be controversial here?
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's sad that the golden count because it was a great moment, Cherokee celebrated I felt like, wow, what a comeback.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: But I think if you remove the emotion, I think it's the correct decision.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, first and foremost, the Cherokee finish isn't great.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: So what's I fouls in here?
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: They call advantage.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: Sobots has about to stop the ball, Halen pulls him back, therefore canceling the advantage, and going back to the Sobots' side red card, sending him off and giving him a free kick.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: But if Halen doesn't foul Sobots' side there, Sobots' side stops the ball.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: But the boom's going over the line anyway, so the penalty hasn't got over the line.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe she should, she should the referee be using common sense going.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_01]: Let.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: The boom's gonna have the line, it's three ones.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: So both aren't doesn't need to be given a red card.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: We move on.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: The game's about to end.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: What's the game?
- 5:44[SPEAKER_00]: Are we going VR based on how we think the game should be regulated or based on how the role book states?
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I agree.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: In terms of, if we could all use common sense of every decision we use it, but we introduced VR to make sure that the letter is black and white.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's the way we want it with VR.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like it or not, whether you love VR or not, that's a different conversation.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: But now that's in the game, we live and die by it.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: And if we're going by the letter of the law, that's the correct decision.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think VR has a lot of problems, but I'm not sure this is even in the top 50 worst decisions this year.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: So, do you think people more upset about the fact that it took away a moment?
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: It did, but at the end of the day, the VR isn't here to appease fans or to make one team happier to give nice moments that we watch, but it's just officiating him and I think they're officiated to get more.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: I agree with him and especially for the regularity of the season, it's like, these are the rules.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_02]: and unfortunately, it's a red card and I have to disallow it.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, the next team facing Liverpool, why they didn't send a so-called layout.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: There's not a bit of football in common since I'm like, even Holland himself said that we need to be giving him the right card.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: Can we just give you this?
- 6:47[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, as he said, the common sense goes away when you decide to introduce VR.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: If it's part of the game, so is that the problem though, is that where we're applying this VR
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he is going to point, referee would give us.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: I would, but then they would probably miss a few other things.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: So it's really like, if you introduce VAR, you live in Dubai, and that's the kind of the way I see it.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I actually, I think here, right?
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like, if city were to, that you give that goal to city, and city win the league on the final day by plus one goal difference,
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: You look back at that incident and say, okay, well, they use common sense, but they didn't use the correct letter of the law.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: What if so what's the next three games goes and scores a hatrick and all three of the games, but he should have been sent off because of the letter of the law.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: I understand the emotional stuff like that, but we have to, if we want the game to be regulated fairly, we got to go letter of the law here.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, we should describe VR, which I'm not opposed to, I think, comes with its own flaws, but I don't think this is one of those.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: three game bound for the boss like that.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_01]: That free kick talk to me because Gary never said on commentary that he felt at Donorama potentially in hindsight could have put an extra man in the wall only putting two man in there and actually what was interesting is he has pushes Gapah out the way and I think yeah that a rumor tells Viral Silver but Russell joins the wall at one point he says no I got it.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just gonna say really, let me see, but then you have to put it up there and it was a great shot guys.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's interesting because Michael Owen said at the time when he's when someone's side squared that freak against Allison, he was saying I actually think goalkeepers in that moment should put less in the wall so that they can really clearly see it.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't remember most of seeing that and said, okay, let me try it.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: But when you put a freak kick that far into the corner with that pace and that's
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think you can put two goalkeepers in there.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_02]: Like that's for me, Kristina or Aldo, I think it's sick, is that?
- 8:28[SPEAKER_02]: For me, there's nothing you can do.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm a gray shot and I mean, is the beauty of football?
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: I would say, yeah, no, it's hard as well too.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: I think a ball from that distance, that hard.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: It's a dying army term, yeah, just putting your foot behind it.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: You don't see it as often.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: We come from the generation of the Maddie Tailors and more in Gems, Patterson, Gerard or Aldo,
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you see that as much, but Soul Slay is really an old to that style of just, it doesn't matter where you are, 40 yards, 30 yards, just the yards, put your foot through it, see what happens.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: And at that point, you're probably thinking, okay, live a pool.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm going to lose the game, I like it.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, you think that now it's on their way because I mean, they also That's a freak.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_02]: They managed to create some some good chances.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_02]: We're a critique a gray gray ball from Sala.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: But it's has to be.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, but it's foodable.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't think they managed the game well whatsoever after the goal.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think Liverpool from that moment needed to just what they're for in the game and see the game out and I think it's done.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know, but I felt they retreat way too much and there's ten minutes of them to clock and they're giving the best attacking team in the league the ball for ten minutes and saying trying to break us down.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: Liverpool are not a good enough defensive team this year to do that, especially not the men's.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't only think fans are frustrated that they didn't play batsy yesterday.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the second half, I think they definitely turned it up.
- 9:41[SPEAKER_00]: There were periods in that second half where it felt like a big game of the endfield.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: But in that first half, that was a low.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: And you never expect that from Liverpool playing at home against a big rival like that.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's the the startling thing of slot this season, right?
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: I think last year, he inherited a great team and made very important tweaks to get them over the line.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: Liverpool should still be a team in my opinion, especially at home in these kinds of games that are playing full throttle, that are taking the game to the opposition, that are really making themselves felt.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: That first half, I felt like City got everything they wanted.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: No, it was only until the second half that I felt Liverpool started playing a little bit of intensity.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, I mean, okay, so then the question is, yes, what did change?
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: What change?
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: Because out of nothing, but in order to save a pull, pulls one back, he gets to go on anything.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, this is a real opportunity to win it.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: What did you feel changed from that?
- 10:21[SPEAKER_01]: From that's a bustle I free kick to the last 20 minutes or so.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: For the first time in weeks now, almost just woke up and realized, oh yeah, we're in the middle of a title race.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's time to start playing.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: They've just been sleepwalking.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: Howlin has been sleepwalking last seven games.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: But you look at the team.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Forget about the team.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: Look at howlin the last 20 minutes.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: All of a sudden he starts waking up.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_00]: He gets a fantastic head on that flick.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_00]: The Bernardo Silva who I thought had a fantastic game.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like we were all the criticism of Bernardo Silva the season and is he coming towards the end and big games That's still somebody that rises you can go to war Bernardo Silva and these kinds of games He's shown it time and time again gay.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: He was an absolute monster at the back I think Cherokee's inclusion.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't play the greatest game, but I think he brought a little bit of spark He looked for the ball over the top and he played a great one in tomatoes and onions And then I think from a Liverpool perspective, I think they crumbled in when you have players like Van Dyke the other weekends Bournemouth doing what he did
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: and Allison, someone who has is so error-free for the majority of this Premier League career, making him a mistake like he did, so reckless from a goalkeeper's common see is, and those moments, that's where Liverpool have really been led down players that over the past few years have consistently dug them out of holes, are now incapable of coming up with the moments to win games, and are starting to come up with more and more moments that are losing them games.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that lost, that lost parents, I mean, been all myself a brilliant, brilliant finish, but in the penalty, Liverpool can't have any complaints
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's very, as Leia said, it's very unallocent like that decision really.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it wasn't needed, that's my, that's my watching the game, why it's like why are you going there, uh, but unfortunately, uh, it happens sometimes, it's like probably if we talk about the AR in all football, it wouldn't be penalty.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_02]: You reckon?
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, come on out.
- 12:06[SPEAKER_00]: I guess it's the most stolen wall penalty I've seen because it's the most stolen on the pitch when the contact I don't know why he I don't know why he it's the most leaving the pitch of anything He's out of terrible age.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't know why he it's the most leaving the pitch of anything.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_02]: He's out of terrible age.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_02]: I'm thinking probably no football There were the okay, he's leaving the pitch.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got out of the go, but that's what makes a decision from Alice and even more boneheaded Yeah, yeah, go keeper of that quality of that experience should look at that situation and say
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: What's where's the danger in the situation?
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll accept me coming out.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: But for me, Liverpool have lost their fear factor this year, honestly, because even in the past, players like Allison, players like Salon, particular, Van Dyke, Trent, they would be able to dig Liverpool out of holes.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: They would be able to come up with so many different moments and you feared that.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: These are world-class players.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_00]: I look at them now, combined with the new players that have come in.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: That show a lot of promise, verse, I could say, okay, but they're not that level yet.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: And for me, Liverpool have big names, but I don't think the big names perform at the same level anymore.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: And for that reason, I think the fear of playing Liverpool doesn't exist like it did a year or two.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, they're waiting for our next cycles to stop.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: But the next cycle is already started.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_00]: The problem is they're in the midst of two.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're stuck in the last era.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: They're trying to transition to the next.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_00]: But they're in that awkward in between period right now, right?
- 13:14[SPEAKER_00]: They need a full haircut, but they're trying to grow it out.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you've got the year going to grow it out.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: Are you going to cut it off?
- 13:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this is the thing, some look from fans are saying, look, let's just cut our losses with Slop, and let's get along Zoe now, before the end of the season.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: Because obviously with the World Cup Summer coming up, it gives them the time to get into build something, to see this last part of the season out, because let's be honest now, the priority is Champions League.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: And would you allow a back Liverpool to get the Champions League from this position?
- 13:39[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, uh, considering to spot already thinking, I mean, they, for me, they can make it, considering the Premier League are gonna, five spots they can, they can make it.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: You don't think so?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_00]: I want to win in 7, and I look at the trajectory as well to the form.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_00]: Then combined that with the way United are playing with one game a week, right?
- 14:00[SPEAKER_00]: They look like at the moment of a surefire bet to make top four.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: Chelsea, I don't think are the finished package, but under a roster near in the league are actually flying.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: And I just look at Liverpool for me, that's a side that looked the void of ideas.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like a side that have given up on sluttings and some regards.
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like a manager that at the moment is really struggling to get his team playing consistently weekend week out.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_00]: I see Liverpool struggling.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: Plus you had the fact that they're playing in three different competitions as well too.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's going to hurt them.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think Liverpool don't make the top four this year.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: And just if it gets done there, maybe, maybe fifth gets in champion's league.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: Well, probably the top four, no, but for me, they managed to grab the last spot.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_00]: But again, I think you're saying that based on the thought of what Sala is and what Van Dyke is.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they'll save up layers.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's the thing with the report.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think if you just analyze them based on this season only, forget about what these players have done in the past.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: There's nothing for me that they've shown this year to suggest.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to just magically get an uptick in form.
- 14:50[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see it.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_01]: and then finally the penalty.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_01]: Earling hard and cool as you like.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: We have to say you had a quiet game.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's a wild game.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_01]: We had a quiet game, and I think if you said Van Dyke versus Hull and Van Dyke won that short for your job.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's a bit.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: And then you get the penalty.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: And you look at his record.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_01]: He's gone to the goalkeeper's bottom left every single time.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_01]: He scored two of them, missed two of them.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: But he's gone the other way.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: Alison guesses the right way.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: Alison's record from penalties.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's really important.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: For someone like Goods, his record from penalties.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: Isn't great.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: But I think it felt just a wrap up this section, I laid that felt like a moment, Gary never said it on commentary.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: It felt like a statement when the way in which city did it as Lea said, but actually what this now means for the context of the title.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: But we're back in Harlem when you stepped up there, surely.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: uh for yeah heavy moment for me was for the right moment for him to show to the steam okay guys we are in stator race and we need to be there until the last second until we can I'm what do you think Pepsi King Ali is game on?
- 15:46[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, let's go for it now.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: That's a lifeline.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's let's call it what it is that kick was the difference between their season Being over or yeah, or still being alive.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: They have now been given a lifeline They need this has to be a huge wake-up call because the last month or so has not been good enough for any team Let alone a club like city from here.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: They need to go on one of those runs and they need to do a quick match
- 16:04[SPEAKER_02]: and also donnerle my save.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_02]: I was fantastic.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_02]: And it was the second in a week because it also against Tottenham, made a great save, a great save on Shavisim.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like when you have that sort of drama at the end, it kind of got lost.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: How good that save was.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: It was a full stretch.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_01]: You saw his reaction.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want my Sifana Keeps.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_01]: You're nearing their saves.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen this sort of thing where corners go in, the finish hit away and we're sort of celebrating.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know where it is?
- 16:32[SPEAKER_03]: It's just a job.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but with this conception, then we could see, okay, then strike as should they shouldn't celebrate because God is the job.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_02]: He's right.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: But I agree with you.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: For me, like when I see a goalkeeper, I'm like, that's like, come on, I'm like, that's what I'm like.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: That rolement right there, that is worth the transfer fee.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, whether you think of Donoruma, like people will talk about his passing and is, when you see a goalkeeper, that is capable of saves like that in the big moments, that's what you get paid the big bucks.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: That's what makes Quartois so good.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's what made the hair from any night, it's so good in the past.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_00]: goalkeeper is that can save you with saves like that.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's worth three points in its own.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_01]: So with Arsenal winning 3-0 against Sunderland that way, I guess the question on a lot of fans' lips is, who's been the more convincing this weekend?
- 17:21[SPEAKER_01]: Because Arsenal winning 3-0 against Sunderland team have been brilliant this season under Regis Abrice.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: And actually, he mentioned in his post-match how the difference between home and away performances this season.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think people may be van de Played how important it is playing at the stadium right, and that atmosphere and that influence.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_01]: But for Arsenal,
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's a convincing win and not in suburbanity was at the heart of it.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're also a Manchester City who is the most convincing at the Tokyo thing, Arsenal without any doubt occurred to me.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: Because it's like, first of all, it's not easy when you're playing under pressure and when you're leading the way and the point with Arsenal this season, it's like they always manage to find the way to win games in a lot of different ways.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what makes you the favorite, probably for the league.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, honestly, I think the fact that it's almost kind of got another radar showcases how brilliant arsenal really are at the moment in terms of like, they're beating a great Sunderland team this season, who, yes, granted, they've been much better at home than they are away, but they're beating them convincingly, although there were periods out one nail where some of them had some chance, but they're getting business done about Saka without oligard, and it's just largely kind of going under the radar.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's out just another day for our slow.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think when you kind of hit that standard,
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: of excellence, that's when you know you're a really good team.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Because they struggle to create early on, and one of my criticism of all of this series, especially the Emirates, it feels a little bit panicky, it feels a little bit desperate, but actually they're rode out, which is probably the biggest difference right from the weekends.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: I would say so.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: I would say so.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_00]: For me, this just shows.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think Arsenal's greatest strength at the moment is their death, right?
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: In terms of whoever can come in, just seem to do a job.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I really like that since that United loss, Artahta has tweaked it a little, because I think over a 30-year game season, even a 60-game season where you're playing in four different competitions, at some point you have to show a bit of tactical flexibility because teams learn how to play against you.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: And when they went,
- 19:07[SPEAKER_00]: on that three-game win list run against Forest Liverpool and United for me.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: It struck me as a side that had kind of been figured out a little, at least from attacking point of view.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_00]: Since then, he's played games now where he's playing Yoccares and Jay Zeus together at the weekend.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_00]: He played Hover's Justin Bahrain, Jay Zeus.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: For me, that's what I want to see from a team that are competing on all four fronts.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: When you face a bit of adversity, what can you do to get yourself out of there and go on another winning run?
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: They've done that and look, I think it's working at the moment.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: You mentioned Vixie Okara as their ally and you've obviously watched a lot of him following European footwork when I guess the thing is with him, is he now finding his role in this Arsenal team because it's taken a little bit of time, he was under a lot of scrutiny because of the price tag coming in as the news sort of an Arsenal main man up front and he gets two goals that we can but I guess the question is, is our tetanail found this role in this Arsenal squad?
- 19:53[SPEAKER_02]: Look, as I said many times, for me, Premier League is like the NBA, so you need to adapt.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_02]: Physically on the pace, it's completely different game.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_02]: If you play sporting, and Premier League in Portugal.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_02]: What's other?
- 20:12[SPEAKER_02]: that the space and the time you have, the time you can touch the ball is completely different.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: Now our data is fine, probably the the right position.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: For example, when you play with the double pivot with others, I found it very well.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: It's like for for him it's easier.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: We with another man driving the pressure out of him.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_02]: And I think, it's like, for example, I can give you another, an example, guess what I said, every time we sign a new player, I don't consider him for the first four or five months.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_02]: And so I, because for me, that's the adapting people.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's interesting.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's closest to turn of the year, please.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's for me, I'm a huge fan of Yorkers, but one thing I can definitely recognize is he's a great finisher.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think in front of goal, he has showcased that he can finish the ball.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: That's his best attribute by far.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: For me, the issue comes against settled defenses.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think when you see most of his best work comes in transition running off the last line.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that's why he funds so much success at the sport thing for example.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: And while Arsenal who play the deepest blocks regularly, I think he's found a lot of struggle, but
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe this is the kind of role coming on in a 1-0 game or some of them are pressing a bit more.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_00]: You look at the second goal for example, him and Martin L. the running in behind.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's the kind of game I think Yoker has thrives in.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_00]: But I think also, I look at someone like Kai Havords.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: He has a lot of critics, right?
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: But one thing about Kai Havords, I think he makes every player he plays with better.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think he simplifies the game for a lot of people.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's not always the prettiest, but he's willing to do the dirty work in terms of holding up the wall, which Joker has doesn't do as well as him.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: The little flicks, little passes around the corner.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's the beauty of Kai Haberts.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: That doesn't always get it shine, but I think in games like today, that's where you really see his balance.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_01]: So in a way, Havet is coming back and Haisu is coming back.
- 21:53[SPEAKER_01]: Is that basically a relief, a bit of pressure or feel Chris?
- 21:55[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think?
- 21:55[SPEAKER_00]: 100% because there's an argument to be made that they are at his level of not better.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: And now when they're kind of in the team, there isn't the expectation that Yorker has the score because you have other great players in the attack and look, I mean this is a game about Sack on OdaGuard, right?
- 22:08[SPEAKER_00]: If any other team loses their captain their number 10 and they're starting right-winger.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: They're probably struggling.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_00]: Today, three goals, it could have been more.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: And credit to our tetra as well with this patient, you made two subs on the hour mark.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_01]: Your cries are martinally coming on and you saw a big difference out there.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: I wanted to touch on martins of a member like, because for me, he was to stand out at the weekend, just his quality and for me, he's almost the representation of this arson team in the way they've developed.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: The way he can control football matches, his passion, his touch, his technical ability.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, when we look at midfields and what we're on now, I like, why would you rank him?
- 22:41[SPEAKER_01]: Because I think he's really, I actually think he's on the right, it's a manly, how could he really?
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: All I think he's on the right side.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a great player, but I don't agree that he's the representation of the team, and I don't also think he's the one controlling games.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think we look at Zudmendi, and we think he should be that, because he's a Spanish, number six, or whatever.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't really find him to be like someone, I think he's a really good player, and actually the goal that he's scoring from you, I've come as a bit of a shock, because when I saw Zudmendi at the
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: But I'll tell you why I think so because I think he's Mr.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: Dependable.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: I think you look at some of Mindy and you look at that midfield and you go firstly is availability has been brilliant this season Yeah, it's like every single day.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_01]: You look at their title credentials.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's basically being the main man around that It frees up rocks.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he has no other reason because what he does is he allows Rostly freed up and the last season when you saw was rice picking up the bull with deeper airings We're actually rice is better bombing on a boat
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: Actually think if you watch Arsenal a lot this season, it's actually duckland race dropping to a back three more often than not I think duckland race has been a standout in that midfield and lots of eventy But I think he or how was insolent that?
- 23:38[SPEAKER_02]: He's was a laleman afriending race a lot to be meant to have the success actually I think he's the only one that I do for me for me playing with Declan Rides Yes, I think so I mean I love the momentum and it's like we need to give our theta credit because it's like now we are we are seeing him better when it's time to finish because he's
- 23:58[SPEAKER_02]: is his best season already in terms of goal contribution, but for me playing alongside the kind of rise makes you on that.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I don't think Arsenal win that game three in the same way last season without him, but that's really not what you're doing.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: Because he's because the way you control it in tight games is a skill that a lot of players don't have,
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, it's finished, I believe.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: But actually, I just think he has that sort of element that, I don't know, there's not an element of panic with, uh, we've zoomed in, he can dictate football matches.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I just think he's, he's a huge difference while awesome what, getting in these games quite comfortably in the end.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: I think last season, that's a one-mail.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: If not a one-all.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I'm not really sure, I
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: Great that you plays a different role to all of them, right?
- 25:00[SPEAKER_02]: He might get the money for spin, and he probably was the one changing the final, you know?
- 25:06[SPEAKER_02]: Because Spain was trying to put a great game.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: And he managed to change the final when he came in, but he's a different option.
- 25:12[SPEAKER_02]: But is that...
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see him as someone with like for me pedri dictates a game vittimia dictates a game Yeah, I don't already look at zoom and he in that mold of player I don't see him as someone gets like a hundred touches on the ball and he's gonna But are they see it like that but in this context in this that in this arsenal He's also offered them at different
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't agree.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: I don't agree whatsoever.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see it.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see it twice.
- 25:37[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't see some of these impact being on that level.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, maybe I'm missing something.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_00]: I could be completely wrong here.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: But not, I don't see it like that.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a great player that's added.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't see him as that player who everything is being revolved around.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see it like that.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_02]: And probably when I take that brought him in, it was an expecting design part.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was expecting to have him as an extra solution.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_02]: Extra depth to the squad.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: But I mean, is that having a good impact on the squad?
- 26:03[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, yeah, and hey, don't make me wrong.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_02]: Is a fantastic place, a great play, a huge play area.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_02]: But it's like, if we are talking about best in the world and I start thinking about the teen yard, about life.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: I really believe it.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: It's a difference, Mike, for us, and I really do believe that.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I guess in terms of the rest of the season, what the war's supposed to be, it's in privilege.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_00]: 13 games to go city of got that result I can get they can cut the gap to three points I want to ask them stony I don't I think did improve it's like I think could they be more expensive playing of course You can always find nitpick but the way they're going they're on course to win for trophy So what do they need to do they just need to keep going live could they wouldn't absolutely fool?
- 26:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I look at every competition they're in.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think they are, if not the, the big favorite, they are one of the favorites, right?
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: In the Champions League, I look at them by and PSG as the big players.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: I look at the Premier League, they've got a six point lead, it's in their hands.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: I look at they're in the care about cup final, FA Cup looked, anything can happen, right?
- 26:58[SPEAKER_00]: We know that competition, but yeah, if I'm an arsenal fan, I would look at it and say, yeah, we can really make history this season and go for everything.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: But you have the squad up as well to do it.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_01]: Then we say the same back Liverpool and I were in no form.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: That's what makes it so difficult.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: Of course.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_02]: It's not granted.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: So he was saying it's given.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_02]: By you have the chance to do it, you have the squad up to do it.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_00]: And there's a way for us to tell us what to do.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_00]: I like the Arsenal can beat you in numerous different ways.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_00]: I really like that.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: What would be considered a failure then for Arsenal?
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: As you said, we're in a fantastic position where we're in these competitions and got a great chance winning them.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: Would you say if I don't win, serve them, that's.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: Not for me the Premier League.
- 27:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you win the Premier League in any season, that's especially for Arsenal who've been chasing this trophy for Sean.
- 27:37[SPEAKER_00]: If they win only the Premier League, it's a great season.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they can go on and make it a special historic season.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_00]: But the Premier League is the minimum and that's the bar from considering where we are at this stage.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_02]: I would say the Premier League is what you need to watch out for.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_00]: I would also say, because they're in the care about Cup final, you don't play finals to participate.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: Right, if you don't make the carabac up final, whatever, but now that you're in the final, you should do it.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: So if they don't win it, and they win the prem, it's a little, but I think the Premier League, if you win that, you, that's your season right there.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: Just the wrap up.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: When we look, it's really interesting because I think we've always associated with pet with control.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_01]: When actually this season, it's been set e chaos already, whereas all of us know it's been more control.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: The question is most most sustainable, would you think in the back end of this season?
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think the meta and football right now is is limiting transitions.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's being strong defensively It's being good on set pieces winning your duels and everything I just named arsenal excelat They are the meta right now.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_00]: They've set the tone in the primary league and for me they excel at every one of those facets And I phone those when it's all right
- 28:33[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, final thoughts on the title race.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_02]: They just need to keep going and try to manage, especially when they're going to play home.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_02]: And the three points are going to be hearing really heavy thoughts with it.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: They need to keep going.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_02]: Because for me, when you start a season, you can say, ah, now we're going to win the Champions League.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_02]: Because the Champions League, you can try to win it.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_02]: But there are three, four teams that are thinking the same.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_02]: So the primary league should be the main goal.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: For Manchester United, I don't know how carefully he is, the smile says it, oh, I guess it's a former club, sort of mine, I was always like, always forget, Mark, I care at play for Tottenham.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think he forgets it.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think he forgets it.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think he forgets it.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't know these, but I'm interested.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_01]: And where am I for now and there's Bruno for now and there as well.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: I guess actually, I want to start the record for Romero.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_01]: Because in the week, he talked about the board and he talked about basically the lack of investment and the lack of strength into the squad.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_01]: And then after 29 minutes, he makes a tackle at that on your favorite May Castle Mirror, so I'm on there.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_01]: So records, can you have any complaints?
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Not at all.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's of course not.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_02]: You know, broke his ankle.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_02]: And if you look at the replay, it's like immediately, it does like, oh no.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 29:43[SPEAKER_00]: But that sequence right there sums up Romero.
- 29:45[SPEAKER_00]: Because if you actually watch from the beginning of that sequence, you put stuff fantastic Takuan Kunia showcasing that.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, he is a very talented defender.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think anyone can question that.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_00]: On the ball actually think he's very good as well.
- 29:55[SPEAKER_00]: There is a talent in Romero.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_00]: He's shown it at the World Cup, right?
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: But this is what will always separate Romero from being a very good defender to one of the best in the world because he treads the line of aggressive and potentially a liability.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_00]: He treads it way too much, right?
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: You can you can be a Sergio Ramosa a village where at times, yeah, you can get caught out but the amount of times it happens with Romero is it's too much to ignore.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: And in that moment, right there, he goes from putting on a great tackle on Kunia to putting in something on Kasimura that can break his ankle, right?
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: If you put a bit more force, Kasimura is off for the season.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: you know the season is probably done by the way.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's how important he is for the moment.
- 30:30[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, he's massively let his team down and I think it's becoming all too regular and occurrence.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he's backed up in the stats as well.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's his sixth row card our last since 2020 more no Premier League player since then has more.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, speaks for yourself, I would say, and especially it's like for your team now, points are really important, so you, you should then let your team down.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_02]: Who missed the door, but you have a captain as well too, right?
- 30:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's full-given, but I don't miss the door, but I mean, would there have gone even with him?
- 31:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I was good to say, like, just on that game in general later, I actually thought I put to that point top and all right.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that didn't change completely dynamic in the momentum of the game.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_01]: But for you know, I'd say it's all clicking into gear.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you look at the way, let's say a month ago before Carrot came in or even a little while before.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_01]: Who would have thought that he'd be forth in the league, 44 points.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_01]: You're three points of Villa who are in the title race for the majority of this season.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to tell you about now.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, five wins is on the horizon.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_01]: Are you shaving your hair off?
- 31:35[SPEAKER_01]: We're coming.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, man.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: What?
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we say every week.
- 31:39[SPEAKER_01]: But what has changed?
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: Because it just feels the fluidity, the way the bull's moving, the tempo, the momentum of the games.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: What's changed?
- 31:46[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, belief has been reinstated.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_00]: Freedom has been given.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_00]: Organization structure has been kind of implemented.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: Caracas on a fantastic job, right?
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: Should he get the job?
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: That's the question that keeps getting thrown on me every single week.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if you continue, if the guy wins every single game, what do I got to do to tell him, no, right?
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: At the moment, he's never lost as Man United boss.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: He might be the next, he might be the next big thing, right?
- 32:06[SPEAKER_00]: But I think I'm going to continue saying it.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: Can he sustain until the end of the season?
- 32:10[SPEAKER_00]: Can he get Man United into the top four?
- 32:12[SPEAKER_00]: Can he show that this football is sustainable?
- 32:13[SPEAKER_00]: Because right now, the football is brilliant.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, eventually there will be a point where teams come lined up to basically nullify it, right?
- 32:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's football.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's like a chess match.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're playing great right now.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: Eventually, someone's going to move their castle and all of a sudden, we're not going to know what to do.
- 32:27[SPEAKER_00]: At that point, that's where character will be judge as a manager, because how do you deal with adversity?
- 32:31[SPEAKER_00]: When everything's going, well, everyone's a great manager.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_00]: That's the big moments.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_00]: I also think, look, in the summer, if handsy flicker and recap become available, in the currents.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_00]: If it happens, it happens.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think even character can justify going with him over a manager of that pedigree of that experience.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_00]: But if I'm going to continue saying, if it's between him and Glatzner, him and I roll up him and even watch a T-no, I'm taking Michael Carrick.
- 32:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think he is just as much of a risk as they are.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I think it depends on Kenny sustain it and also who's up against?
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: really in charge of the LA because I guess the question is for you know it's a friend should expectations now be shifting because of the form they're in the way they're playing that they can maybe achieve a little bit more this season.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: I mean considering also...
- 33:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going forward as well next season as well.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_02]: Considering also what's going on we with Liverpool you know it's like you can try even even Aston Villa and the advantage they have it's like they're they just need to focus on Premier League.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_02]: One game a week so one game a week is a
- 33:26[SPEAKER_02]: Aston Villa, for me, are the main contender to win the Europa League.
- 33:30[SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: Because of Emory, or because of the quality of the team, it's also Emory.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: And both.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not sure about Velowin in the world, like for me, which he's going to get a little spurs when it lasts for me.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well, this is true, but is it for me, if we look at the team, Villa of the main contender for that, to win the European.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: Traditionally, I think Emory struggles a bit when he needs the balance European football and the league.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_00]: So the deeper they go in that competition, the more I would expect us to develop maybe some more in the league.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Can he fall to do that though?
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: especially with the way that the top four the top four races shaping up.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_01]: Liverpool's still win it, where we say Chelsea, you know, it did feel like, I guess he could say, well, I'm going to get fifth.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'll have to win the Europa League.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to win the Europa League.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_00]: But then off to the show, should he just go all in on that though?
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, say all in because they're in a good position.
- 34:14[SPEAKER_00]: The Premier League, you can't justify with 13 games left and there's third.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to throw away the Premier.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_00]: You can't do that.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: But if they start...
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: like falling off a little bit more in the prem.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, also, if you bring a trophy test in Villa, one's the last time they won silverware, is the Champions League and in the 80s or when I'm like, that's a huge thing as well too, as Asston Villa boss, he's already gotten the Champions League before.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's, he does that.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: He's starting to enter like greatest Asston Villa manager of all time conversations.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: So potentially, but I think it just speaks to the league the season where,
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: You look at Chelsea as well too, another team with 1-4 games in a row.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you can just go on a 3-4 game winning run, all of a sudden, your season looks completely different.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_00]: On the flip side, a team like Liverpool now, 1-1 and 7, their season looks completely different.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_00]: This Premier League is very weird because it's still volatile.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: One little change in form and all of a sudden, your fortunes look different.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, expectations shifting from your perspective as you know I'd found now from what you say of course I mean, and so what into like I go into games now like almost expecting to it's not win at least compete Right in this game against spurs started the season we played them away from home By the way, we hadn't beat spurs since 2022 before this game, right?
- 35:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm expecting a dogfight and granted spurs.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_00]: I've been great either so that also helps my confidence, but I went to this game
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: thinking we were going to win, expecting we were going to win, and after we won, not all that surprised.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's a change in mentality that Kerk has not just implemented into the players, but also into the fanbase.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_00]: We feel alive again.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the freedom of the front four for me is the biggest thing.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know, when I look at Bruno and Bruno Diallo, Kunya, the rotations are like, and it's the biggest difference.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_01]: The freedom they're playing with the football players.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_02]: And surprisingly, surprisingly, it looks like they're really having fun playing for you.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_00]: They're doing themselves.
- 35:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's the most important thing when you watch them play.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_02]: And that's why I agree with him, it's like, if you find a great solution to build a future on Manchester United in summer, then you go for that name.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, you stay with Karrick, because, for example, we saw Amirim and I was chatting of camera with liais.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, Ameri came to Manchester United to prove it was a great manager for Manchester United.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_02]: Michael Carrick doesn't need that.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_02]: He knows the Manchester United DNA and he knows what he you need to be successful at Manchester United.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I think you're spotting, I guess, from one manager to another, I wanted to touch on Spurs, because what does this mean for Thomas Frank now?
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it almost feels inevitable, he's going to go.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's a matter of when or if Spurs fans are not bought into the way they're playing.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_01]: They're not bought into him, I think, as a manager as well.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_01]: I really like Thomas Frank, but I don't know if he fits the Tottenham DNA, if you want to call it that.
- 36:44[SPEAKER_01]: Lee, I mean,
- 36:46[SPEAKER_01]: Could you see that I mean there's a lot of managers you think could they go before the end of the season is it now too late to make a change you think you know It was sort of the last one way or like, okay, this is probably is there gonna be any more appointments.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: Let's as an emerge.
- 36:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean you you see that, but This is what the sister six points off relegation and what you're doing in it, you're okay
- 37:04[SPEAKER_00]: I like genuinely in a relegation battle.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, it seems big enough to go down.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: I think in the last few seasons, they've been a bit fortunate that the three teams that go up are so inept, that they are almost like a guaranteed to go down immediately.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: But you look this year at what Sunni-Dalun have done, leads are really giving it a good go.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, leads are level on points with spurs.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_00]: That is insane to say.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: West Ham over the last few weeks, they're three wins in four.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: So no, spurs are not too good to go down.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like it is seriously, that kind of threat.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's so funny because you look in the Champions League.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's the only time they actually win games, right?
- 37:33[SPEAKER_00]: If I'm spurs, I'm firing Thomas Frank, and I like Thomas Frank a lot, I agree.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_00]: But I even think that just almost say it's a DNA, it's a DNA's mismatch.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he doesn't fit the way they want to play.
- 37:42[SPEAKER_00]: No, I actually think he's done a really bad job as well too of scaling his football up the next level, right?
- 37:47[SPEAKER_00]: They go with every game and it's almost the guarantee that they're going to be on XG, right?
- 37:50[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's poor for a club of spurs is standard.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_00]: You're going against the West him and they're out shooting you.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_00]: They're outscored.
- 37:56[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy what I'm seeing from spurs at the moment.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: I agree with you before the red card it was actually,
- 38:00[SPEAKER_00]: But they're in serious danger right now of really plummeting even for us.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's definitely defeated the season.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: Especially when it's a roller coaster.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: You're playing Champions League football during the week.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_02]: So you think, okay, my status is my level.
- 38:16[SPEAKER_02]: It's above, especially because they did a great group stage in the Champions League.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_02]: But then if you don't win games, you're in danger.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_02]: Especially when you are in the middle of a relegation battle, if you think then you are bigger and you're better than the relegation battle, and you don't, you're not prepared to go in the mud and win games, then you're...
- 38:39[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, look at these pictures, right?
- 38:40[SPEAKER_00]: You're looking at new castle arsenal, full of them away, palace at home, Liverpool away, forest at home, southern and away, how many of those games you honestly feel comfortable in saying, confident saying, spurs will definitely win that game.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: And that's even me showing a little respect to Spurs, maybe full of them.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_00]: Full of my way, first verse.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about that, but I think full of my beat them.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_00]: I think maybe chorus that whole maybe, full of my way.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_00]: I felt it for me to beat them.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_00]: If I look that, I think chorus at all.
- 39:07[SPEAKER_00]: And wolves away.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry that that's what I think.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: I could genuinely see them feeling to win every other game That's where I where I think okay, they're they're expected to win otherwise you you have to earn Well, I think the thing is even when you look at the wolves came at that point They're gonna be confirmed relegation.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're gonna be playing with freedom.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: There's nothing to lose There's absolutely nothing to lose enough wolves.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: I like watching wolves more than spurs I don't know if that's a hot take when I watch them I know they're not as good as spurs.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_00]: I at least enjoy watching them play spurs at the moment They don't win games.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_00]: They don't defend very well.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_00]: They're not enjoy to watch There's nothing really there.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a spurs.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a spurs.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: I remember from my arrows
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: So we're agreeing that that Frank can't turn this around.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: So I laid it in half to make a change.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: And if so, who?
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: Give me a name.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_01]: So for example, people are saying like a rhyme, makes sense for the energy of the army.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_00]: Just who we are, and it's a great one of it.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_00]: But I can't do that.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's not the kind of manager you want in this kind of situation, either.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_00]: You just need someone to come in and say the shit.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: If we look at the next permanent manager, I think when you look at, there was a podcast release in Roots O'Pochettino.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_01]: It feels like that's inevitable that he will maybe come back in the summer.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_01]: You never go back for your ex on that.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_02]: I agree.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_02]: They're really expecting for Puchetino.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's like, it's a confused situation, isn't it?
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: I see Puchetino coming back the spurs and it being a disaster.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_00]: Puchetino deserve it.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_00]: Robby Kane, for the end of the season.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_00]: Javi, glass in the amorim.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe Marko Silva, I could, honestly, I always look at, obviously, this wouldn't happen this season would be in the summer, right?
- 40:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I always see spurs as like that club that's like the, the, the middle ground between a player and manager going from a smaller club to eventually elite level.
- 40:35[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like they go to spurs first and then they go to the next level, right?
- 40:38[SPEAKER_00]: Frank is, is the professor, Frank, right?
- 40:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's what they hope.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_00]: So I could see someone like a glasener or a Marko Silva taking that next step and if they succeed, then they go to a bigger club.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_00]: But when I see names like Naplesmen, I think,
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: for me.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_00]: That's that's that's that's Sydney only.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't see the men.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: So that's that is going this way.
- 40:53[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: But for example, if Louis Sereke is going to get much just a united job.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_00]: That point Michael Carrick is free.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_00]: I hope for better for Michael Carrick.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_00]: I hope for better for him.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_00]: He deserves better.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: It's really... We're more crucial with Lee Films, right?
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah.
- 41:18[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think he would.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: To be honest, all jokes aside, Michael Carrick, I actually think you could do a whole lot worse than hiring Michael Carrick in the summer if you decided to go on a different direction.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: I think that's the club as well too yeah that's my point because with spurs you don't know what they want because for example for for Manchester United we are talking about DNA and Michael Carrick knows and knew what they needed to to bring United back with spurs I mean he's right now taking the the spurs job he's a risk it job so it's the only issue guy for his care mechanic
- 41:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and for me, again, another decent show, right?
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: In fact, this is similar to Kerek was in the back room stuff that under Aldi, and in fact, they were the ones given most of the credit for in terms of how they trained and the way they wanted to play.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the credit was given to those two.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I think Kerek, McKenna, those kinds of managers come in, spurs, you say, what did they want?
- 42:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think spurs fans have this idea of how they should play.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they haven't really played like them the last few years, but they have this idea that they should be playing more free-flowing football.
- 42:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you tell a spurs fan, go and play the way manually and I'm going to play, that's how you're going to play it.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think they would snatch your hand off.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: So, they could do worse than giving those managers of gems.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: He starts home of the show, power rankings time, ranking the best Premier League signings this season.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot to choose from, Alex, there was a few like changes in the break.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: Lia's got the stats ready.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna start with Lia's as well because I know there's one man on your list.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: Martin's a Bementy, where's he right here?
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: He is on my list.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: He ranks as the fourth best signing.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: He made it so far though.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_00]: Come on, you guys are like, I think somebody's a scrub.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a great player.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think he's the next Wisconsin flag.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_00]: You.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead.
- 42:49[SPEAKER_00]: I want to look at KTK at fifth.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 42:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's brought something exciting to the Premier League in terms of the swagger he plays with the quality of goals.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think maybe the reason he's a bit lower on my list is in the biggest games.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's been as good, but I think he's a young promising striker and I think in a few years you're going to look at him as one of the best in the world.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_00]: Zooming Mandy and that fourth.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_00]: I know we don't agree for staying on him, but I still think he's been a very good signing for Arsenal.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's been very dependable, never injured, always available, scored big goals as well to this season.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: Been a great signing for them, brings the best out of Royce, arguably.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_00]: And at third, I've gone for the X-Artslamen, I've gone for granted, Jack O'Horn, and I think has breathed life into Sunderland.
- 43:30[SPEAKER_00]: That's signing, even before Ball was kicked was incredible, and I think the experience, the leadership, the quality, the goals as well, to the creativity, he's provided to Sunderland, has been a huge part into why a promoted team are making such waves in the primitive of season.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: In second, I went with my favorite player to watch in the Premier League, Ryan Cherokee.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't think he would fly under Pep Guardiola, I thought the different styles would maybe clash, but he is taking like a fish to water under him, the creativity, the flicks, the tricks, the unpredictability, the Ramboana, says that yet, he has been a joy to watch and really brought a huge level of creativity to city, and number one, Brian and Bimmel.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: Last season, many night had the worst attack in the league.
- 44:08[SPEAKER_00]: The fifth least goal scored in the prime, behind wolves.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: This season, they have the fourth best attack.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_00]: They've already scored more goals at this point in the season than they did last year.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: And then Bomo has scored against Liverpool.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: He scored against City.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: He scored against Arsenal.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: He scored against Spurs.
- 44:20[SPEAKER_00]: He scored big goals.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: And I think he's been a big part and I did jump from attacking points.
- 44:24[SPEAKER_00]: All in a row, Manchipakunya.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think of late better, but I think he went through a period in the season where maybe needed to justify the price tag, but right now looking really good.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's a great top five alley.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_01]: I feel there's going to be a couple of crossovers, but I heard on the street, there's one big change.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know, let me start by saying, Bermal was here all the beginning was here, that was then then I changed it because I love to disagree with Leiaz.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_02]: I know you love Joel Pedro, so I love Joel Pedro, for me is the future of Brazilian national team.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_02]: I love the way he drops deep in the middle of the pitch, great solution for Chelsea.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_02]: Then, Vani Chaka, as he said, for me elevate the change the status of Sunderland.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_02]: It would be Mandy, great option.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_02]: No, the greatest midfielder in the world.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's a recording for you now, but I hope the next person gets where we want to go.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_02]: But a great option, a great option to add that and it's proving on the pitch.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_02]: Great solution for that.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_02]: I could have guessed number two.
- 45:26[SPEAKER_02]: GG Donaroma.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have to explain.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
- 45:30[SPEAKER_02]: Beautiful.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_02]: You know what?
- 45:31[SPEAKER_02]: Check in Donaroma is not easy to improve Manchester City.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_02]: And for me, those two signings, they're both improved Manchester City.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's been as good as in Bermal.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Bermal was a great job.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_00]: Bermal was there, so.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_00]: So, Shoki, you've gone top.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for me, right?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, she went Shoki.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: Right, right, Shoki.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: Right, Shoki.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_02]: Shoki in this more than football is just a joy to watch.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_02]: She's bringing something different.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_02]: Sweet footballer.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: Love him.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: So, I'm going to talk for you.
- 46:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he's the best.
- 46:02[SPEAKER_01]: Shoki talk for you.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_01]: Any honorable mentions that we missed I dropped oh of the ones we didn't list.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think Jordan Henderson Fentazio would have been so as Michael Coyote Robyn Ruff's very very good as well too There's there's definitely a few men.
- 46:14[SPEAKER_00]: I even think Senate lemons as a goalkeeper I wouldn't put in in my he wouldn't be over Donoruma, but just the reliability he's brought instead of all not has been hugely united There's been a lot of good signings, but yeah, I'm having my top five.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_00]: There we go
- 46:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was moving by, oh my, Talver Luin has a huge shot to be in the top five.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_00]: Direct?
- 46:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's actually a big miss for me.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_00]: Honestly, if I could do my list over, I think his goals have been, if leads stay up, he's easy in the top five.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_00]: Do you reckon he's got a chance thing in the squad for a quick play?
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: Can't win it?
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, he's not going to lose.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, that's what I just thought I'd say.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: But that love, what he's doing for leads is fed up.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_01]: That's how you walk.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_01]: I can't watch what Superman did in the world cup.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be an absolute joy for everybody involved.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: That's like, it's like, so I'm trying to take some opportunity.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see you next time, eh?
- 46:50[SPEAKER_01]: Let's put this in, let's try and put some stuff.
