- 0:33I'm so drunk. And welcome back to a hamster
- 0:42with a blunt. Penknife the Doctor.
- 0:46Who audio commentary podcast, the fucking question boy.
- 0:57This is where people commentate on Doctor.
- 1:00Who episodes? Can I tell you what?
- 1:02Right there. Someone at work.
- 1:03Yeah, who does tan? Always right and he goes on.
- 1:07Good evening, everyone. Let's see where that came from.
- 1:12Sorry, I'm not trying to subject what we're here to talk about.
- 1:15We are currently watching Battlefield episode and that
- 1:20part and we're on part 4 is the riveting climax.
- 1:24Very quick. And last week, we had the
- 1:27Destroyer ripping out his what he has actually ripped out yet.
- 1:30Has he what the Detroit has just the right video about you.
- 1:41Stay tuned. We were saying last time the
- 1:47Mary Whitehouse has been salivating for a week to find
- 1:50out what happens next. She's been very perturbed by the
- 1:53Destroyers and almost Holmes. Yeah.
- 1:55And mark the BBC novel The Shadow Of Avalon?
- 1:59Yes. Which you could not find on the
- 2:01Shelf. Yeah it's amazing.
- 2:05You know it's leaning into all of this.
- 2:07Does it directly reference Battlefield.
- 2:10So I kind of I think it takes a lot of the details, but it's not
- 2:13a sequel to this, okay? It's all set in the same world
- 2:15though. It was quite heavily criticized
- 2:18in. Oh, I thought it was rather good
- 2:19and I'm bit if we were of Cornell books, have you read, or
- 2:23do you know the target of Battlefield, the target book?
- 2:26It was Marc Platt. So I think he added a lot of
- 2:29extra World building, I simply think mr.
- 2:33On of each wanted to distance himself from these.
- 2:34He wasn't happy with that. Well, we all know he wasn't
- 2:37anywhere to write Transit instead with her.
- 2:40You know what, you have a Transit.
- 2:41I didn't read transitional sequence in transit where
- 2:44someone actually says, I've still got the taste of semen in
- 2:47my mouth. I've been, what is up with a new
- 2:49adventures honest to God. We haven't got any of that in
- 2:52Battlefield. Thankfully, Mary Whitehouse,
- 3:01let's get back on track. A lot of people take her name in
- 3:09vain. Little.
- 3:11Yeah. Excuse me.
- 3:12You've got a book of Mary Whitehouse.
- 3:14I've got her book. Yeah.
- 3:15Is it an autobiography sort of is about how?
- 3:21It's about her work and life and everything.
- 3:23And how she started started. All of the television cleanup
- 3:29television campaign, and all of that stuff.
- 3:31Is it interesting? What is?
- 3:33Well, the most interesting bit is where she lists all the bits
- 3:36of horrible TV that she's watched and what program or what
- 3:39happens there? Who knows what police dramas, a
- 3:42lot of this around and all other Sweeney and stuff.
- 3:44She's like this man man gets stabbed here or you know, this
- 3:49prostitute does this and stuff is like Mary and I think she
- 3:53wasn't worried about dogs who anymore because I know but no
- 3:55one was watching it. So there were no kids.
- 3:58Watch. It is a shame.
- 3:59It is a shame. Yeah.
- 4:01Well, kick it off. The final season of the classic
- 4:03series here. Technically should have gone to
- 4:05the dogs by this point. It's yeah.
- 4:08It's sad, isn't it? Well, I'll Tell you what?
- 4:12I don't know that. Don't you?
- 4:13Yeah, I'm looking forward to a climber.
- 4:16We go three, two, one, boom, boom, everybody!
- 4:20I'm so sorry. I keep sniffing.
- 4:22I sniffed a cat earlier. I sniffed a pussy.
- 4:25You're allergic. I think we all do that.
- 4:40Viewers Lottie outright people are aware now.
- 4:43Oh, the PPC surveyed. 392 people about Battlefield and Sylvester
- 4:50McCoy is doctor was popular. Hey, 78% found him likable, why
- 4:56are you go more than the women liked it?
- 5:00Well, that's hardly a great surprise like Battlefield.
- 5:03Yeah, like the commentary, another man like that.
- 5:07Right here we are the day extroyer.
- 5:10He's hearing and we're gonna get all the G, marshes best scenes
- 5:14in this, and it's just a lap upset, isn't it?
- 5:16Just the lighting is just changed, the whole vibe of the
- 5:19place. It's great.
- 5:21Yeah. Do you know, they turned this
- 5:22whole set it to Rubble in a minute, don't they?
- 5:24Yeah, it just all goes up. Yeah.
- 5:27Did you know, Mark comedy is very similar to drama.
- 5:30It's all a matter of, but I remembered, I have an ace up my
- 5:35sleeve. Look at the Destroyer.
- 5:42I mean, it must have taken some work, right?
- 5:46And they do but it's weird you know cause he dropped into the
- 5:49story and then he just sort of goes after about 10 minutes.
- 5:52I know what he's he's he can't. Yeah it doesn't really do a lot.
- 5:57You know if he maybe that's why it's so effective it's dark is
- 6:01lit. Well it's only he's only used
- 6:03sparingly. Maybe that's how you do a
- 6:05monster. They just saw us down the river
- 6:07and nowadays he be up floating in the sky.
- 6:09Electricity going around the planet, you know, be very
- 6:12evident it. Yeah.
- 6:17And you've got here, we are more games, crystal ball Ikea ball.
- 6:22So this is the line that you said wasn't in Battlefield over
- 6:25Coy McCoy goes or I will decapitate you were.
- 6:29I could I've never noticed that before and I thought when you
- 6:33said that I was like no you wouldn't have the doctor saying
- 6:35he's going to decapitate that one that would be in it there's
- 6:38a sort of Whispers it very low it's not see.
- 6:41Let it says only a bit excited because I felt the doctor was
- 6:43being affected by violence. Like a Virus or an illness.
- 6:47I don't think we really know that doesn't come across wide.
- 6:50Open the script really explicitly stays.
- 6:52Oh yeah, maybe he's acting it but I can never really tell what
- 6:55exactly is a nice theme to it. Where how intimately how
- 6:58intentional that was? I think Nicholas County was
- 7:02happy to leave, was he? They said they wanted to kill
- 7:04him off and he was like, yeah Gordon do it.
- 7:06I'll find it. Stop it waves emotion.
- 7:08Undead. And then what was the last thing
- 7:10before that turns the zygons it was job that he did a long time
- 7:13ago. I know he has associated with it
- 7:14a lot. But I wonder how they had a why
- 7:16they backtracked. Why are out of it, you couldn't
- 7:19do it. So I couldn't kill him off.
- 7:21I wanted to but I couldn't get him off.
- 7:24This is great. Look, she's basically said that
- 7:26I will myself. Yeah, because the battle is more
- 7:30important than you know, family out.
- 7:33Yeah. So this is showing white build
- 7:34out right. Build up.
- 7:36And then watch what they when they start moving the disco
- 7:39music starts again. Ready?
- 7:42Yeah, you got those that sort of thing and drop it, it's like But
- 7:46at the time with that have been because it was the 80s.
- 7:50I mean now it's like someone's press demo on your toy.
- 7:53Keyboard, did you got that sequence in reverse all the
- 7:56Daleks where he's on his keyboard?
- 7:58It's literally that but yeah. But at the time were other
- 8:02shows, having this similar kind of meat or do you still have it
- 8:05eventually, think you go and watch some kids TV from around
- 8:09this all that? Anyway, so you rear T much so
- 8:12and you if you watch it at the time it wouldn't have stood out
- 8:14as much. Ouch, did you just now?
- 8:16It's just dated it. I think the music stated more
- 8:19than anything on screen, it will and it makes me feel a bit
- 8:22cheaper than it actually is. Yeah which is astonishing give
- 8:25it. I think that Lisa Simpson music
- 8:27made it look to see more expensive than it actually was
- 8:30and nowadays. I've got there, the whole
- 8:32Orchestra ever met in the choir and that going crazy.
- 8:35And now we've gone over the other way a little bit too much
- 8:37is too much music as there's beer too over-the-top.
- 8:40Anyway, let's start kind of about Mario again.
- 8:41No no I thought I'll second a canola.
- 8:47I love second. I cannot lose anything.
- 8:48Yeah. Always great, Jean Marsh has to
- 8:52do, I'm trying to get into the for still very bare.
- 8:55Hands. Start shaking, she's really
- 8:57good. Yeah, look at that.
- 9:01You can't see it if viewers but we can.
- 9:04Hello my fingernails. She would do a lovely back
- 9:08scratch when she was outside the bit.
- 9:10Do it. Nice.
- 9:11Yeah you might get this a flaky skin all over your back.
- 9:14Baby worth it. Sorry Uncle Jim our shop right
- 9:17now gets a scratcher. I don't think she's with us
- 9:20anymore. Cheese.
- 9:21You sure? Yes.
- 9:23I should have done very well. I don't think she's a bit past.
- 9:26Doing any acting now think she's retired but I will never lie.
- 9:29She's the life. And I say Merrick Anton is
- 9:33giving a proper performance inside that costume.
- 9:36But you can because you can the mouth moves in the because the
- 9:41mask is so well made. You can do that performance, you
- 9:45know, and the thought electronic stuff on the lip, the making the
- 9:48lips move, you know, you're the bit where you, he starts baring
- 9:52his teeth and start dribbling. Mmm.
- 9:54Anything made you dribble like that before?
- 9:56No, I saw a program earlier called what was it called?
- 9:59The baking program. Oh, It's impossible.
- 10:03Baseball bacon. Yeah, they're doing is fabulous.
- 10:05Cakes. I was dribbling like that.
- 10:07Watching that one up this lie, the way that the Destroyers
- 10:10shots while From Below. Yeah, and the lighter, it
- 10:13doesn't lighting as well. Yeah, although in a minute,
- 10:16there's these green effects, Janet fielding's, right?
- 10:18When she's bitching about it in behind the sofas, well, that
- 10:20leaves greed effects that scum spitting out.
- 10:22The windows are not the best you're supposed to do.
- 10:26This is because worse bit, if they're dead.
- 10:32But then it goes little cute Ace show your I would live and
- 10:37they're all covered in polystyrene and bits of set.
- 10:42Now let the end vertex is telling us that the doctor
- 10:44doesn't in fact because hell up off the floor while it just fell
- 10:47down but when he goes to the side he's wearing it continuity
- 10:50error. Is that problem?
- 10:52I've never noticed that and that's why I was told look what
- 10:55they've done to this Pub. Peter wants is not going to go
- 10:58for a sleep upstairs state of it.
- 11:02What's her name? Oh no, whoa, no, no.
- 11:08Is it appropriate? My face.
- 11:13Is it about someone in this room?
- 11:14No. Okay.
- 11:16Although I don't need to know, you know, it's all that debris.
- 11:19It fell over them there. Wilson said it's been covered in
- 11:22Paula. Sirens at this is where shall
- 11:25Young's not needed anymore so she doesn't really do know.
- 11:27Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:28She's she's just kept behind. Isn't she for that scene?
- 11:32All Races got somebody. She said that an area Charming
- 11:35scene at the end but that's nice that she actually yeah that she
- 11:38still stuck around but what happens to you know we don't see
- 11:41her after this very much exotic alien sort of are easy to come
- 11:45by marks are rare. Box of 10 a petty.
- 11:51Jesus. So many out there often when you
- 11:55so yeah. I'll shut up now.
- 11:57Okay. Actually, there's not in terms
- 12:02of sets what we got. We've had the pub, we've had
- 12:06that. Where that what's it called?
- 12:09Bond thing that their interests are several times, and the
- 12:13spaceship is only the three in Dorset says, yeah, very little
- 12:16bit. A loss of location work.
- 12:19I love this scene where the camera pans over the battlefield
- 12:23Winifred. Looks at the young soldiers dead
- 12:25and he says a good fight and she's disgusted.
- 12:27Mmm, it shows are different realities.
- 12:30Yeah, but She's been going, right?
- 12:32Come on everyone with a sword. You share with those around and
- 12:35your purse was cited, right? She had trading with the sword
- 12:38and then she went out. Let's just do it and she, she
- 12:41jumped him. Can I say like I don't think
- 12:44we've talked about Angela Bruce's Bandera and nothing.
- 12:46This have enough weight and I feel like she deserves more more
- 12:51comment, she's just charismatic as hell.
- 12:54It would have come back to her and another story, I think we
- 12:57would have seen a bit Kate Stewart.
- 12:58He dwell in the midst of unity and If This Were, if we'd had
- 13:02the Lost season, 27 has done by big finish, oh, animal with
- 13:06animal will not the best for Angela Bruce or bamburgh in
- 13:12that. He could a story.
- 13:13So I'm very glad it's all been redeemed with Barbara's own
- 13:16series on big finish. That animal in fact that whole
- 13:19season 27, It was awful. I'm sorry baby.
- 13:23If that is not. What would have made it to the
- 13:25screen? I don't know but would but that
- 13:27first one with the ice Warriors and Russia is so boring.
- 13:31Yeah. I don't know, it might, it might
- 13:34have been okay on TV. Boy were they brought him, Beth
- 13:37Charmers a rainbow but having that character of rain would
- 13:40have been either. I would I would love to see.
- 13:43I would love to see that Mark. See, the Gateway home is almost
- 13:49complete. Like these are lines.
- 13:53I lesser actor could could fall on this sword but the look of
- 13:58this and the started as we going into the 90s, there's a lot of
- 14:02not know, maybe not spats as we talked about the other time but
- 14:05there's a lot of children's drama at this time.
- 14:09Had this look and feel. Yeah.
- 14:12And probably the same budget. I mean, later on, you're going
- 14:15to last on our demon Headmaster or but remaking, a Tomorrow,
- 14:19People, and stuff like that. It's Yeah, that's what you get
- 14:23on a kid's. It's a bit sort of comic strip,
- 14:25isn't it? Yeah, but the interesting thing
- 14:27is, I think ghosts, like curse of fenric and survival are all
- 14:32in their own way of visually stunning.
- 14:34Like, they have been put together by really, really
- 14:37thoughtful directors, face it when they came in.
- 14:42It's so sad because I have to do that sort of twirl when they
- 14:44come in, of course, the Brigadier has to shoot straight
- 14:49away. That you love it when it goes.
- 14:51And I have an ace up my sleeve. Yeah.
- 14:55Oh my God, you can't do that to Nicholas corny.
- 15:00Without the breathing of digest, the Destroyer just go, he was
- 15:04always about the window is always got.
- 15:06Oh I see the Destroyer had to remove his chest plate in a
- 15:09moment of Glory so the Brigadier could shoot him in the flesh.
- 15:12Of course. It wasn't just, you know, to get
- 15:16as horny it was for an important plot Point.
- 15:21Hey, I like the bit you know where they were going around the
- 15:23light fittings you know. It reminds me of when David
- 15:26Tennant and Anthony head were going around the swimming pool.
- 15:30That sort of thing. Kind of it was more effective.
- 15:36I got 1450 martians first McQueen around swim.
- 15:38Oh let me see. You are singularly unique
- 15:43person. Destroy his chains have been up,
- 15:47there he goes, there's the wet mouth.
- 15:48There's wet mouth for a great extra detail and he's Louise,
- 15:57here we go chains. I mean all of my all of our
- 16:01fetishes going, Incredible Hulk is me.
- 16:03Yeah Jesus he's been done that you but bit as well I'm telling
- 16:06you. Is that makeup chest or real
- 16:09chess painted blue? Nothing that's make it.
- 16:12I think that's rubber that's what he's got.
- 16:14Like bubbles. That is fucking chilling.
- 16:24Yes. Oh and I like this bit as well
- 16:26when Mordred comes in and she's she is happy he's alive, isn't
- 16:30she? Yeah, she's just got so many
- 16:33layers, so we reversals. There's a lot of dry ice in the
- 16:36story that wasn't there. Well as a bit of inside outside
- 16:39atmosphere everywhere, what you probably better dry.
- 16:43Also this Ruby to be a bit of atmosphere going on.
- 16:54But then you think the story sort of comes when it all don't
- 16:57you already have a drool that much though?
- 17:01That's why there's a Burger. King opening up in town.
- 17:03Oh my God, and a wimpy, which is right next to Mike Donald's,
- 17:08own, Doom, don't wait Burger palooza, but yet you think
- 17:12everything's been wrapped up quite quickly.
- 17:14Don't ya? I'll do is read what he does.
- 17:16Here, good grief. Is that a spaceship?
- 17:50There we go. He knocks him out.
- 17:52Yes, even even a sloped, I mean why would it be a fucking
- 17:56spaceship? Well, you never know.
- 18:03So the so the destroys or terms up takes his clothes off.
- 18:07Well he's been a prisoner of more gain for however long and
- 18:10now he's got his freedom and she doesn't care.
- 18:12She's like a whatever views dim, he can just be Unleashed.
- 18:16Now she know what the sex is line is where he goes.
- 18:19It burns as well. Sexy and he got a brigadier in
- 18:25the Destroyer facing off and the brick.
- 18:28It is like this is most effective monster I've ever had
- 18:30to me to be fair. It is this one?
- 18:33Yeah, exactly so much better than that.
- 18:49Okay. Oh my God.
- 18:52Okay, wrapped up. I'm glad that really wasn't
- 18:54killed off. I don't think well be.
- 18:56I'm glad my mom didn't let me wash this because I think I
- 18:58would be very sad if he didn't Dave.
- 19:00No, I don't think because actually we had all of that, you
- 19:03know, even at the end of remembrance river that funeral
- 19:06stuff didn't say, we'd have to have that proprietary, the end
- 19:08of this Hue, poured character into stuff.
- 19:13But I do like the the can see that he's dies.
- 19:16Yeah. Well and then the Joker is like
- 19:19because actually you might be expecting because you've got the
- 19:20new Brigadier ready to take up. Yeah place and this is where you
- 19:24think everything is over and then we have this out extra bit
- 19:27now but the fight in the bomb and everything your spots of
- 19:31dying bad dog. That's what happens as well as
- 19:35it and that has wedding of river song.
- 19:38Yeah. Oh that's a great idea is set
- 19:42Nichols Courtney's deadpan comic actor in.
- 19:45It's great, I'll take you I'll bet it was waiting for the right
- 19:47moment as well. The Brigadier like, right, I'm
- 19:49gonna get him. After all these years have been
- 19:51patronising me, they get all the Flames here as well.
- 19:56I think it's just thinking, yeah, that they've done.
- 19:58They've got all out on the flames on this.
- 20:00It could just be more dry, ice assist with the trial, so it's
- 20:05like a Battlefield part. Yeah, you can just pop the place
- 20:08full of dry. I saw you naked.
- 20:11Yeah, I know. Now we have all these Bombs Up,
- 20:12and there's all these wonderful speech, is what?
- 20:16Wow, what are you sure about that?
- 20:19What is the secret incantation with the are?
- 20:23Like honey? Yeah, no, but what about McCoy?
- 20:26Come on, a child. Looks up to the sky because eyes
- 20:30send us acting. I think that's fine is very
- 20:33intense. Its kind of do the last bit.
- 20:36Okay. As isana as that's, why are
- 20:39these are weapons. I chose and then we'll gain sort
- 20:43of carted off to prison. Oh but first, we've got all the
- 20:48Excalibur stuff. Yeah, we always tiny thing, I
- 20:51did you notice about saving, right?
- 20:53I only put it out because it's very obvious and Italy Bruce has
- 20:57purposed slap on her face. She was aware, it is early.
- 21:00I think on the interior Studio thing that the makeup artist has
- 21:04been very, he's got all looking a bit but if a boy Shadow on
- 21:09Doctor Who to show me, Best. But in the outline is ice and
- 21:14show your the return to the spaceship with X Calabar.
- 21:18Oh, don't you love this video? We re still no.
- 21:21Yeah, there's no glare far. Is there anything more service
- 21:23turquoise doctor than this? It's the rest of it and it's
- 21:26Doctor Who. Yeah, that's what you want.
- 21:27That's what doctor who does best.
- 21:29You know what? I love?
- 21:30And I mean, this without taking the Mickey is where she says.
- 21:34Everything else is propaganda. That's such a great line.
- 21:38Looks like I did Mark, the doctor that's all that up and
- 21:45doesn't know does that mean? He's going to do all this in the
- 21:50future or the past? Yeah, well he might just do
- 21:53that. Not yet in the future, which
- 21:55could be the part. I don't know.
- 21:56Which is in the past. Yeah, I don't know.
- 22:01McCoy loves it. We're gonna get offer.
- 22:03What is real? Oh, here we go.
- 22:06We have another sword fight. And so the Mordred.
- 22:11Jesus is sort of like the whole thing.
- 22:13I'm telling you this pair, I'm glad is hands.
- 22:17All right in this. Otherwise you wouldn't be able
- 22:19to work with you. Oh no.
- 22:20He would. You just say I can't do it?
- 22:22You're such a bitch. You're never gonna go stock.
- 22:24I don't know about our signature right here.
- 22:27I'll call you back our McCoy's. Got 60 seconds to ammo.
- 22:30Okay. Did we ever find out why we've
- 22:32got all these nuclear war things down here?
- 22:35Yeah, for this scene, for the drama, Oh yes, apparently
- 22:41originally right. Andrew carbon wrote this speech
- 22:44and it was about three minutes long other and he was like no
- 22:47nothing is coming out and then they did it in the rehearsal
- 22:50room and he was like fucking out goes on a bit and I got the cup
- 22:53this down a bit. Look, all the dialogues are in
- 22:59there in the even wants to read the original dialogue.
- 23:02It's just rolling across in the entire text.
- 23:06Yeah. But you need this head-to-head
- 23:09with the doctor and more game so I didn't really have a little
- 23:12bit earlier in the barn because now the Destroyers out of the
- 23:14way. So I want to say see we've been
- 23:18watching a little bit over the other ways.
- 23:19Essex recently, where there are similar characters to more gay.
- 23:24I'd say, Gemma Collins is not too far off being over.
- 23:26Apply, I'm going somewhere here. Okay, so obviously, you know,
- 23:30when they're slighted by men in turn away, and they go through
- 23:34these, horrendous Revenge tactics, public displays of is
- 23:38like this. Well, this is what more games
- 23:40doing here. She's been slighted by our far.
- 23:43It was far too obsessed with playing war games with the
- 23:46Roundtable people. And so she's gone to all these
- 23:49lengths to have battles and Wars true.
- 23:52That's one way of reading it. And this is why she's talking
- 23:56about out, the are being like, honey because she still loves
- 23:59him. It's a love story, really?
- 24:02Hide was like that, you know, anything happens to more gain
- 24:04after this, though. What do you mean?
- 24:07Well, don't go back to the go back to the dimensions that he
- 24:10says, put her in prison. Yeah, he's gonna hold someone
- 24:13with magical powers, actually. Did you put her in a Cell?
- 24:16Yeah, she's called. All right.
- 24:19What is a surprise me, you know, given that I did so much with
- 24:22Jean, Marsh and big finish, but we never saw more came back.
- 24:27I think if Jim Walsh was too late, I thought they would at
- 24:29some point. Yeah, well they would have been
- 24:31nice. You should have done.
- 24:33They did those marvelous. Our kingdom audio.
- 24:35Oh she's really necessary Kingdom.
- 24:38Yeah, she sets up house with Stephen in one, you know.
- 24:41Yeah, she's our, she's absolutely brilliant, astrakhan,
- 24:45you Chronicles are amazing. But even this, this is all works
- 24:49position where she's talking about being in the woods of
- 24:52Celadon we offer and she I just so believable.
- 24:57Yeah, I don't you know, I actually think I wondering if
- 24:59she just would submit to being in prison now because she's hot
- 25:03version broken. Yeah, we says you have killed my
- 25:08betrothed. All right, kill him that he
- 25:13won't upset Mark in the future or just Lop off his hand.
- 25:20So we'll hopefully I'll meet Christopher Bowen.
- 25:25Yeah, and he'll be nicer to me. We've had some interesting
- 25:28experience on Sylvester McCoy as well.
- 25:30Yeah, I know means first McCoy, we just never get on.
- 25:33Like, I don't know, it's just very uninterested in meeting me.
- 25:36Whereas, is a big collar Bakery flirts with me every time we met
- 25:40okay. Everett He kissed me last time
- 25:43to tell you? Yeah, yeah, this little boy,
- 25:46right? And the little boy was dressed
- 25:48head-to-toe as Colin Baker and he said, oh, little boy, you're
- 25:51so cute and then it was my turn next.
- 25:53Anyway you're less cute. We've got time in the script as
- 25:58well to have this lovely ending with everyone back at the brook.
- 26:03Well, Doris is house. Lovely little coder, isn't it?
- 26:05Yeah, very not, very Classic series.
- 26:08I can only think of a few times when we do this here from the
- 26:10deep black or Orchid. There's only a couple of times.
- 26:13Well by thank you. Doctor we out with the girls.
- 26:29Lovely filming day at this house, probably.
- 26:31And that's it. Yeah.
- 26:33I'll show you the and Barbera going all investors.
- 26:36Could you better go this road trip with this bunch of the
- 26:39whole? Imagine a whole movie with them.
- 26:41Of our trip. I say they all got pissed
- 26:44written, a short story. Surely, they ended up in some
- 26:46Dreadful B&B so we're having sex, I have sex.
- 26:50Well, this for the Brewster future, it shall be a bearer.
- 27:14He goes really good with a lawnmower.
- 27:18And he says all make supper. How do you think McCoy is?
- 27:24A cute. Is Doctor when he's Charming
- 27:25like this. He's so lovely, isn't he?
- 27:28Yeah, I can't see any of the other doctors doing that.
- 27:31I never did a turnaround with Matt Smith, you know.
- 27:33No matter how much time people tried to convince Way by size
- 27:36versus McCoy's, I love him now. Why is that your thing?
- 27:41What grew up. I think it stopped.
- 27:42Being a precocious teenager who didn't like this.
- 27:44First of all, who are always criticized his butt.
- 27:47Actually, we love every dr. Emil of every story because we
- 27:50love Doctor Who well. So, if you don't like it, I
- 27:54watch it. I mean, I would say that's a
- 27:56fabulous sentiment to end on, but we do have to give our free
- 28:00fabulous reasons. As to why people should watch
- 28:03Battlefield one apiece, starting with you, bringing in Doctor Who
- 28:10to the the 90s, Angela Bruce's Brigadier bamburgh, absolutely
- 28:14updating unit the new unit Family things.
- 28:18No, I'm summing it up. As that's one.
- 28:20Okay, what I'm going to say the fabulous.
- 28:24Ling tie as show, Young Who I believe is one of those
- 28:28companions That Never Was. Yeah, absolutely fabulous.
- 28:32It's great for Ace to have a female companion, the action and
- 28:36the pace of this story and your and all the character moments as
- 28:42well, there's a good mix, it's a good balance.
- 28:44A great pace of a story, that's Things again, it 1st, you
- 28:50greedy, I'm going to say representation, I think it's
- 28:54fabulous that we've got young, people old people, lots of men,
- 28:58lots of women, lots of people of different ethnicities.
- 29:03In terms of representation, I think this is the best a doctor
- 29:08who ever was until I would say early Channel.
- 29:15I'm going to say the Destroyer the design, the creature, the
- 29:20Brilliance of that, the drippy mouth, the chest, bursts, all of
- 29:25that Doctor Who monsters are cool.
- 29:30By this point, I think they're always pretty cool.
- 29:34Sometimes, the Cyber leader from Revenge of the segment doctor,
- 29:44you are be fragment sized doctor.
- 29:47Okay. And why third thing then is
- 29:48gonna be I wanna make it a goodie, it's going to be ok.
- 29:54Yeah, it's going to be my reaction to this story which I
- 29:58used to find a massive embarrassment and thanks to
- 30:02talking about this story, with other Doctor Who fans who have
- 30:06lots of love for you. I've done a complete 180 with
- 30:09this and I really, really love this.
- 30:11Now I think it is incredible. I think there were problems but
- 30:14there are problems with most classic Doctor Who stories He's,
- 30:17but I think this is incredible fun to watch very quotable.
- 30:21Great characters. I don't know what was wrong with
- 30:24me. Back in my teenage years, I
- 30:26don't know. I never know if I could just
- 30:28lost this baby back, then. Look, what did you even that
- 30:31worry seven-year-old? Yeah, always thought the.
- 30:33So it's my number one. Favorite McCoy stories.
- 30:36I very, very sweet. Well, listen, Mark, we're going
- 30:40to be recording again. Pretty soon, aren't we?
- 30:44Yeah, we are going to be indulging in a threesome.
- 30:50Why don't you? Yeah, she's jumping in with us,
- 30:54is that next time? So we're going to be doing tons
- 30:59of Wang qiang, aren't we? We are how bold.
- 31:02Yes. How about very exciting.
- 31:04Could I say, I think before we even recall that the time was
- 31:08working. Triang is one of the best ever
- 31:11Doctor Who stories. It's very different about field.
- 31:14Let's put it that way. Not see our worlds apart, but
- 31:16it's Eminently quotable again. Mmm, isn't it?
- 31:19She was a trick. You wouldn't want that soup that
- 31:23we have onions? No, we're going to be doing that
- 31:28with the wonderful, Luke Malloy from Lost on Gallifrey, but if
- 31:33was recently on too much who are Deadly Assassin who it is, I'll
- 31:39fast fabulous Episode, by the way, and some lovely feedback
- 31:42about that one, then young. Yes.
- 31:45We're going to be heading to Victoria.
- 31:47I'm done with Patsy smart, Louise Jameson, Tom Baker, and
- 31:52he's Patsy smart again. Hey, come here, it's not the
- 31:56actress's name, it's a floater. All right, the just leaves me to
- 32:02say he's top of the list. That's his heart.
- 32:06Thank you very much for your time.
- 32:08Oh, thanks. Yes, you're talking to me?
- 32:09Yeah, yeah, yeah. Thank you very much for your
- 32:11time. And until next time, Yeah, see
- 32:14you next time. Bye.
- 32:19We're all part of the game. Oh my God.
- 32:28I'll make dinner.
