- 0:15You're here. You know what?
- 0:16I'm getting so excited. I'm getting sweaty.
- 0:17I'm going to apply some. Oh yeah, I'm going to apply some
- 0:22deodorant. I'm going to start with this.
- 0:25Fuck ice. OK, all right, start in there.
- 0:28Hell yeah there. All right.
- 0:29Fuck Ice and fuck the President Donald Trump.
- 0:32Welcome back. Seconds in very good.
- 0:34Yeah, very good. Welcome back to another episode
- 0:37though, of the WASD and Beyond podcast.
- 0:40If you don't know where he's where we stood now you do cool.
- 0:45So we're going to go right into it.
- 0:46Check out the sponsors down below.
- 0:47I'm sure they're going to love that final ball stock Loggy,
- 0:50great guys. They will love it.
- 0:52That's the. Best part, they will love that's
- 0:55that's The funny thing is we're not being like other hosts where
- 0:57they might be sarcastic like, oh, I'm sure they're going to
- 0:59love that. No, we know they will, because
- 1:01fuck ice. I hope.
- 1:03Donald Trump. I hope for those who were
- 1:06listening, if you don't agree with that, I hope you stop
- 1:09listening because of this point. It's no good.
- 1:12But you should also listen to the other shows on the fucking
- 1:15network. It came from Scream Box, a role
- 1:18for Deception, WASD and Beyond. WASD and Beyond is actually
- 1:23going to be releasing our Oh my God Fantasy critic next week.
- 1:28We do that tonight. We're going to be live streaming
- 1:30that. That's going to be exciting.
- 1:32You will know we're live streaming it because this
- 1:33episode's dropping 30 minutes after we record it.
- 1:35So very good. e-mail us at wasdbeyond@gmail.com.
- 1:41Again, that's WASD beyond@gmail.com.
- 1:44Let us know your thoughts on any topic we discuss on the show, or
- 1:47if you want us to talk about something you would like to
- 1:49hear, please reach out. Let's hop into it now that we've
- 1:53insulted the President of the United States and shit.
- 1:57I been doing that for been doing that for a long time.
- 2:01You know, I The thing is, I didn't know how to really feel
- 2:05to, to make those jokes on the podcast until a couple episodes
- 2:09ago. Brody was like, fuck those guys.
- 2:12And I went, oh, OK, cool. I know where we're at now.
- 2:15I know where. We're at.
- 2:17Well, I mean, yeah, it's just, it's just, it's frustrating.
- 2:21Obviously it's a video game podcast, but like, we are not
- 2:25happy with anything. I'm happy.
- 2:27Sorry, That's not even, that's not fair.
- 2:28We're, it's not that we're not happy.
- 2:30We're furious with what is happening every day in this
- 2:34country, whether it's just down the street from us or if it's
- 2:36states away. So no, I'm glad you said that
- 2:40because people should know where we stand.
- 2:42And truthfully, whether you care about those comments or not,
- 2:45whether you like those comments or not, I don't.
- 2:48Doesn't matter to me either way. You can take them how you feel.
- 2:50But like, I'm not getting paid to do this.
- 2:52Yeah. Yeah.
- 2:52I like just hearing the sound of my own voice.
- 2:54Ladies and gentlemen, that's. And I argue this.
- 2:58I argue this any form of art, whether it be music, movies,
- 3:03video games, books, comic books, any form of art is directly tied
- 3:10into politics, whether you like. It or not?
- 3:13Yeah. Tied into your life?
- 3:14It is a reflection of the current times those artists were
- 3:18living in when they did that piece of art, whether it be the
- 3:21media that we talked about on this show or the comic books
- 3:24you're reading at home or the fucking Mona Lisa you look at.
- 3:26It's a direct reflection of that time period and you can't not
- 3:30talk about it sometimes. But we're not going to talk
- 3:33about it right now because we've already done it.
- 3:35Yeah, like we we've got it out. But yeah, no, I mean, so until I
- 3:41guess lighter, lighter news, where do you want to start with
- 3:44our main topic today? What do you want to jump into
- 3:46first? Let's just hop right into the
- 3:49Xbox showcase, I think sure. And then after that I'll let you
- 3:53because we have two topics technically, right?
- 3:55We have that and then we have like a quick, well, the one
- 3:58topic I know is going to become an actual full-fledged episode.
- 4:01That's the whole thing, yeah. It's good.
- 4:03So we're going to lightly touch on that today.
- 4:06We we can if we want, yeah. But we can.
- 4:08We can. Touch on that, depending on what
- 4:10how long we go with the showcase.
- 4:12Yeah, the Xbox showcase wasn't good.
- 4:15It wasn't bad. It was the middle of the road
- 4:18showcase. I thought two games really stood
- 4:20out. That OK, Yeah, that's, I think
- 4:22that we're both in the same boat here then.
- 4:23We haven't really talked that much about it since we watched
- 4:26it, but yeah, it was just, that's pretty much how I felt.
- 4:29I think I know which games you were interested in because I'm
- 4:31pretty sure they're the same for me.
- 4:34Yeah, so let's just get it out of the way, man.
- 4:36Forza, the new Forza 6 looks really good.
- 4:40It made me want. I don't.
- 4:41Evan knows this. And if you've been listening to
- 4:43the show, you know this. I don't play racing games.
- 4:46Yeah. I can barely drive my own car,
- 4:47which at this point in time, I cannot drive it because it
- 4:50doesn't matter. It doesn't.
- 4:51Start. Because it's too cold.
- 4:55But this, something about this looked so pretty, like the cars
- 4:59looked. So you know what?
- 5:00It just looked badass. It looked so fucking badass.
- 5:04You're you're on to something here because I showed I showed a
- 5:08clip. I showed the clip specifically
- 5:09the one that I showed my brother and my dad is the one where they
- 5:12were actually not talking about the visuals, but the audio.
- 5:15And they showed the car driving through the tunnel and like some
- 5:18close-ups of just listening to the, the actual engines, like
- 5:21just idle or, you know, revving. And my dad, his eyes, like when
- 5:26he heard the, the, the car in the tunnel, his eyes kind of
- 5:30went wide. He was like, wow.
- 5:31And even Jack, who's same as you, doesn't play racing games.
- 5:34My dad doesn't really play them too much either.
- 5:36But Jack has basically like, you just won't touch him.
- 5:38It's not his thing. And he saw that, he heard that
- 5:42and he went, that sounds really good.
- 5:44It's also it, it just looks so good.
- 5:46Like it looks so incredibly, I don't know how they make it look
- 5:51better cuz at some point it's just gonna look like real life.
- 5:54It's just gonna look like, I mean, it already does.
- 5:57I'm glad that you're actually into it because 1, you have game
- 6:00Pass so you can just play it. You don't need to purchase it as
- 6:05the pass. Actually never Rose and Bryce so
- 6:07I don't know what the fuck happened there.
- 6:08So, so yeah, that was the whole thing we talked about when that
- 6:11happened. Because the PC Game Pass does
- 6:13not change or it only increased by a couple bucks rather than a
- 6:16huge increase and you didn't lose anything, you got to keep
- 6:19all of your perks. So I don't know if like, I'll
- 6:22keep holding on to that PC Game Pass as long as I can.
- 6:25Brody Brody cancelled too. I was one of those guys who were
- 6:28going to cancel but I couldn't. It would not let me cancel.
- 6:31So I'm guessing. I guess I'm a bit happy that
- 6:33everyone got pissed off like I did and cancelled before me
- 6:36because. I like that because I checked it
- 6:39and it was it was already showing that I was paying like
- 6:401650 a month. And I was like, if I do the math
- 6:43on that, I'm getting the ability to play all of the games day
- 6:46one, which is great because I actually pay more for EA Play
- 6:50Pro, which I like physically. Like realistically I play less
- 6:55games from EA than I do from Xbox.
- 6:57So like still decent. But anyway, back to Forza.
- 7:01My biggest thing is I'm so happy it's in Japan.
- 7:04I have wanted, oh for so long. I have wanted it to be.
- 7:08Good. I was so upset when it went to
- 7:10to Mexico because I just wasn't really enticed by the location
- 7:14in general, because I, and that's more to do with the fact
- 7:16of five really for me, felt like it was trying to get a lot of
- 7:20people to play more of the like drifting or dirt off road rally
- 7:25type stuff. And that's not really my bag as
- 7:28a as a race racing gamer. Like I don't really like to play
- 7:31as a racist. Stop.
- 7:33No, stop. It's.
- 7:34A race. You are racist.
- 7:36No, no, no, no, no. That means a different thing.
- 7:38And and I am not a racist. I like to race cars in your
- 7:42racer, racer, racer. Yeah, exactly.
- 7:46There you go. That sounds OK.
- 7:48It doesn't. Sound good?
- 7:49No. Matter how you spit it, it
- 7:50doesn't. Yeah, exactly.
- 7:52Yeah. But I was always more of a fan
- 7:54of just street racing. That's more of my thing.
- 7:56Or track, car, track. I mean, you know, I play F1, all
- 7:59that sort of stuff. But to see that this was in
- 8:03Japan and to have like to them specifically talk about the
- 8:06unique car culture that Japan has and just seeing the cities,
- 8:11just seeing that the little small streets that you could go
- 8:14through and then the beautiful open countryside.
- 8:18Seeing I don't know which mountain that was in the
- 8:20background and the one shot they had, but like just that looked
- 8:25beautiful. Like when the two cars are
- 8:26racing down and they're drifting through the cherry blossoms.
- 8:30I I don't know why we had like, I don't know why it took six
- 8:32games. To make it in Japan, I don't
- 8:35know what the weight was because.
- 8:37So I want to touch on two things actually.
- 8:39I want to go back a little bit and then I want to go right back
- 8:41to Japan. OK, You are your your dad and
- 8:45your brother. And you were so right on that
- 8:47sound because everything sounded so fucking aggressive and mean.
- 8:50Like those cars sounded like they had absolute power and I
- 8:54was like, this is this is awesome.
- 8:56Like everything sounded great there.
- 8:58But then going back to Japan, it's the perfect landscape.
- 9:01It's the perfect landscape between like beautiful hills and
- 9:05sprawling forests and then urban, urban, urban environments
- 9:10where it's like Tokyo city And that everything's dynamic too.
- 9:14That's what's killing me that they took this long.
- 9:17Those cherry blossoms, dude, like even alone just for the
- 9:20cherry blossom aspects, like dude, you guys can shit in the
- 9:23bed not even thinking about this like like driving through a
- 9:26field or on the street where the cherry blossoms have are
- 9:29falling. Or they're already there.
- 9:31Yeah. And you're kicking them up as
- 9:32you're drifting by. Oh, yeah, It looks.
- 9:35It looks beautiful. And.
- 9:36And I love like, they really listened, right.
- 9:38I love that. I'm not like in the previous
- 9:40games, I never really care about the story isn't really something
- 9:43that you have to care about in terms of the story.
- 9:45It's just a way to get you to have more cars and more
- 9:47locations and things like that just to unlock stuff.
- 9:50And I love that this was different and that it's not.
- 9:52You're some big hero at the Horizon Fest or anything like
- 9:55that. I like to say you're just a
- 9:57tourist. You get a wristband to
- 9:59participate and you just get more wristbands until you get
- 10:02like the golden wristband and you get to go to like Legend
- 10:04Island, which also looks that looks sick too.
- 10:07It's all good. It's all good it.
- 10:09All just it looks so exciting I'm I'm very excited to to play
- 10:13it with you guys cuz that's also going to be the beauty of it is
- 10:16driving around in Japan, not just by myself but with my
- 10:18friends and getting to have all those iconic cars.
- 10:22I mean 450 cars that launches crazy like that's wild to me 5.
- 10:27150 Cars 5. 100 Oh my gosh, I'm wrong by 100 holy crap, man.
- 10:32So I. Have a whole list here.
- 10:33So this is all that we can expect.
- 10:36And what we know of Forza Horizon 6 takes place in Japan.
- 10:40There is the wristband progression, which I think is
- 10:42great. I think that's an awesome way to
- 10:44keep trying to strive to beat to be a better racer.
- 10:50I don't know. I haven't said racist.
- 10:52Again, explorable Japan. It's a it's their largest map
- 10:58yet and it's Japan like you can't ask for more there.
- 11:02You got so many different vehicles and variants of
- 11:05different vehicles. Dynamic map.
- 11:07The map can change. So I, I, I heard too, that isn't
- 11:11Tokyo City five times as large or five times larger than any
- 11:15other city they've made, I believe.
- 11:16So yes, I think I. Heard them say that in the yeah,
- 11:20that's that's crazy. And it's already the biggest map
- 11:23they've ever made. So it's like that's a lot of
- 11:25driving to do so. Much dude, we have dynamic
- 11:30weather and seasons. That's going to be awesome.
- 11:33Oh, the. Snow.
- 11:34Oh beautiful. That's.
- 11:35I cannot wait to look at that on my OLED.
- 11:37Like if you don't have an OLED like this game alone, like if
- 11:40you're into racing, this is going to make you want to get an
- 11:43OLED, the collectible stamp system, so there's collectibles
- 11:46throughout the map. I really enjoy that.
- 11:48Yeah, that's cool. 550 cars at launch, Yeah.
- 11:53And they usually do packs after so you'll get like depending on
- 11:56what pack they do it'll be like 10 parts.
- 11:59Or yeah. Right.
- 12:00They'll do like a touring car pack and they'll have a a like
- 12:0210 or 11 cars of, you know, different brands, makes, models,
- 12:06things like that. Yeah, awesome.
- 12:08We have dynamic tire wear I saw. That.
- 12:13Is awesome. That's.
- 12:14Cool. That is really, really.
- 12:17Exciting. If you want to immerse yourself
- 12:19in a game, there's, especially with racing, it's like I want to
- 12:23feel like I need to pay attention to my car and that's
- 12:26every component, especially the tires, right, Because you got
- 12:29shit tires on, you got slicks on when you shouldn't have slicks
- 12:31on, or you're there balding and it's like, OK, well I'm fucked.
- 12:36There are aftermarket cars available, so that'll be cool to
- 12:39see all that. The big car that they showed off
- 12:43was the GRGT. Yeah, and all my note says is
- 12:47GRGT. Go brazy.
- 12:50I believe it. The time attack circuits are
- 12:53sweet. You can just hop into a circuit
- 12:56while other people are racing. There's no load times.
- 12:58You just hop in, get into the circuit with those other players
- 13:02and go. That is awesome.
- 13:04You can build from anywhere and everywhere in the game.
- 13:09That's. What I, yeah, that's insane to
- 13:11me. That's it's like everybody, not
- 13:13everybody, but like, it's, it's like, I'm sure they had this in
- 13:16the making beforehand, but Battlefield Portal is a thing
- 13:19where you can customize and create your own maps.
- 13:21And I love to see that Forza is like, stop wherever you want on
- 13:24the side of the road. You can make a track.
- 13:25Just make. A track and just do it.
- 13:27Right there. Building is fully multiplayer,
- 13:30that is, I didn't. Even know that that's awesome.
- 13:33Fucking. Awesome.
- 13:34This game releases May 19th so it's a hop, skip and a step
- 13:38away. PS-5 in the future that is
- 13:42awesome for PlayStation later. This year, right?
- 13:44Yeah, it's not even that long, supposedly.
- 13:46Later this year. OK.
- 13:47Yeah, but there. You got to also think like
- 13:50they're working on Fable as well.
- 13:51So are they going to stop the the development after the game
- 13:56is fully done for Xbox and PC push that get probably get Fable
- 14:00finished up. It's different teams, but
- 14:02whatever. And then at the end, yeah, at
- 14:04the end of the preview, there was a Gundam and it looks like
- 14:08the RX-78. So the granddaddy was like right
- 14:11there. And I'm sitting there going,
- 14:12what does that? Mean I bought it dude.
- 14:16I'm in like I love like I was like, all right, yeah, no, I'm
- 14:19here like, it's it's great. This is awesome.
- 14:21If you if, if you weren't into racing, you are now.
- 14:26Any any last thoughts on Forza Horizon 6?
- 14:29Nothing crazy, I'm just I'm very excited to play it with you
- 14:33guys. I'm very excited to see how I'm
- 14:35trying. I'm I'm very excited to see how
- 14:36the driving model is. We were just talking about that
- 14:38before we started recording because I'm just not I love
- 14:42those games, but I'm not very good when it comes to the actual
- 14:45racing part of it. I like to just, you know, kind
- 14:48of drive around and look at things, but I so I kind of
- 14:50wanted I think this might be the game where I more so focus on it
- 14:53to actually get better at the racing aspect of it.
- 14:57And then like, because that's that's why I like to race in in
- 15:00any of these games. It's like I like to to fight for
- 15:02first. I like to play like when Elliot
- 15:04and I play, you know, but no, I'm I'm very excited for it.
- 15:07I'm excited to when you brought up the OLED yeah, especially
- 15:11looking at it on the Oled's going to be quite beautiful.
- 15:13Oh yeah. I'm just excited to see where
- 15:16this one goes. I hope that with the here's
- 15:19something I'd like to, we can talk about it maybe with the
- 15:22Fable portion when we talk about that too.
- 15:24But I almost would like to see this do what F-125 and six are
- 15:30technically doing, which is F126 is not a game.
- 15:33It is just going to be a update slash expansion to F-125.
- 15:39So that way F127 is more advanced and it's not just like
- 15:44a yearly release where it's just a little bit better.
- 15:47Like that's their strategy. And I would, I'd like to maybe
- 15:50see Horizon and Motorsport take that where it's like Horizon
- 15:54comes out and they don't maybe necessarily immediately start
- 15:56working on Forza Motorsport. Eight, Yeah.
- 15:58I get that like. Give this one some time, let it
- 16:01breathe. I feel like that's also part of
- 16:03it too, is this has a lot of features where it's going to
- 16:04increase the longevity of the player base, like building your
- 16:08own races or tracks, especially with multiplayer aspects or just
- 16:12being able to jump into a time trial.
- 16:14Like it sounds like it's also not just fun to play with your
- 16:17friends, it's also very easy to play with other people.
- 16:21And so I would like to maybe see that go on for a bit more,
- 16:24right? I don't want it to necessarily
- 16:25be like the whole player base just moves to wherever
- 16:28Motorsport or Forza Horizon 7 is, you know, when it comes out.
- 16:32Also, I guess maybe not for nothing, but I don't really know
- 16:36how you can top Japan. I, I don't know there's.
- 16:40Really, I'm sorry, there's, there's simply just is no other
- 16:44place on earth where I would rather have a racing game like
- 16:46that, like an open world racing game.
- 16:48I just. Exactly.
- 16:50I don't see why I'd want anywhere else.
- 16:51But yeah, those are my thoughts. I'm very excited.
- 16:56I might if I'm feeling a little crazy I'll do the premium
- 16:59upgrade through Game Pass so I can get the the extra cars.
- 17:03Well, yeah, I'm excited to see it, dude, he shook.
- 17:06His head no when he said that, by the way.
- 17:07So he's, he's going to, I'm on. YouTube, they'll see us, they'll
- 17:10see us. They'll be like that
- 17:12motherfucker looks great. Super pumped for that.
- 17:18These next two I'm going to kind of just bring up go through what
- 17:22I the notes I have on them and then we'll get to the last big
- 17:25one, Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak.
- 17:28This looked a lot like Animal or Monster Hunter to me.
- 17:34Not my style of game. It's cool.
- 17:35Post apocalyptic Japan, one person, one dog action RPG,
- 17:40focus on plants and abilities. So like, you know, plants fusing
- 17:44with certain things and all that.
- 17:45It it listen, it looks cool. If you like the style of game,
- 17:51Yeah. If you're into Monster Hunter, I
- 17:53don't see why you wouldn't like this.
- 17:55And it looks pretty. The game does look pretty for
- 17:57all practical purposes, but it's just not my game.
- 18:00This is this this I'll have to. Check it out because I didn't
- 18:04have a problem with like, it's one of those things where I
- 18:07played it and I didn't play a lot of it.
- 18:08I played Monster Hunter Wilds with Brody and it's really not
- 18:12bad. It's, it was just one of those
- 18:13things where I was kind of, I was just kind of like trying to
- 18:17like it just wasn't hitting for me in the way where I was like
- 18:20sitting in front of my monitor, like super focused and I'm like
- 18:22invested, right. So I don't know, I'm sure
- 18:26somebody else in the Discord will play it.
- 18:27I'll see what they think. And if it's, if I watch it and
- 18:29it looks cool enough, I might play it.
- 18:30I mean, at the end of the day, there's no reason not to play
- 18:32these games. You got them on?
- 18:34Yeah, exactly. So there's no.
- 18:36Reason for us not to. This releases the 26th.
- 18:40Oh my God. This release is summer 2026, so
- 18:43again, another game hopefully right around the corner for
- 18:45everybody. If you're excited for this game
- 18:47Freak is notably, you know, the Pokémon guys, so you know it's
- 18:52cool to see them do other things.
- 18:53So that's cool. Go check it.
- 18:57Go check out that long trailer for Beast of Reincarnation.
- 19:01Double Fine gave us Kiln. So this is a you know what?
- 19:07I don't hate it. I think it's goofy.
- 19:11What are you not liking about it?
- 19:12Because I felt like it was one of those it almost looked like a
- 19:14a better made game of the week for us it.
- 19:17It is a better made game of the week for us and I, you know, I
- 19:20wanted Psychonauts 3 I think is what I wanted OK or the next
- 19:25Psychonauts rather OK. I think that's just to just.
- 19:27Understand where your head is at.
- 19:28OK, but. It's cool, I like the whole
- 19:30pottery. It's it's a pot.
- 19:32Online multiplayer pottery brawler.
- 19:35Create pottery characters and kill your friends.
- 19:39It sounds like it's right up our alley.
- 19:42Yeah. We're going to play the shit out
- 19:43of it. I already know it.
- 19:45Yeah. The main mode we saw was Quench.
- 19:48It's a four V4 party game. Balance pot shape and
- 19:53capabilities. Fill pot with water, destroy
- 19:55enemy kiln. It's cool.
- 19:57It's all super cool. This releases Spring 2026 on all
- 20:01platforms, so we have to say. You.
- 20:04You killed me. Like, is that what we have to
- 20:07do? You killed me.
- 20:08You killed me. You have.
- 20:09Killed me. You could actually join the
- 20:11Action Insiders from Double Fine and get possibly into the closed
- 20:15beta. So if you want to do that, try
- 20:17it. But it's cute, it's fun.
- 20:20It's a game I would love to play with, like Perry and Landon on
- 20:22the TV. Yeah.
- 20:23Oh. Yeah, it'd be a great, it'd be a
- 20:24great family game. Yeah, I.
- 20:25Think it'd be super fun. So cool.
- 20:29This is the biggest hitter from the event and I'm glad we have
- 20:32finally seen more of this because now I'm not as nervous.
- 20:35Fable playground games, so it looks great.
- 20:42It needs work. There are definitely animations
- 20:46that I'm like, oh, that's stiff. Facial animations are very
- 20:49rough. Not very rough, but you could
- 20:52see some of the lip sync isn't there and some of the facial
- 20:54animations are. Just like all things that are
- 20:56finished as the last. Year, yeah.
- 21:01And the combat, it needs to be fleshed out.
- 21:03Well, I've seen some of the combat really, you know,
- 21:06happening during the trailer or the the presentation.
- 21:09I was like, OK, but there's no weight to any of this.
- 21:11It's literally like you have a rapier and you're like boom,
- 21:14like well, I. Like I saw the somebody was
- 21:17using, I think you the character was using a crossbow and it
- 21:19looked like you were just firing a gun, like you just hit right
- 21:22trigger really fast. And I was like, I like, I wanted
- 21:26to like if I if I have a bow and arrow, I want to have gameplay
- 21:29that can kind of get close to and it will.
- 21:32It. Will I hope?
- 21:33Like and it will, I just they don't.
- 21:35Have the triggers. That's the the thing.
- 21:38If they had haptic adaptive triggers you could give that you
- 21:40know the pressure when we play, like when certain games Last of
- 21:44Us part. 2 is a great example of that.
- 21:47Yeah, that. One's pretty, that one's pretty
- 21:48good. Horizon Forbidden West has the
- 21:50has a similar feeling when you're using a bow.
- 21:53Yeah. As.
- 21:54Well, and also racing games like I really.
- 21:57Yeah, with the throttle and all that, but yeah, like.
- 22:00Yeah, like that works. But yeah, I felt the same way of
- 22:03like there's no weight to a lot of the combat and I think it
- 22:06could look pretty good. I think it could be pretty fun.
- 22:10Just yeah, it needs to get. Yeah, there needs to be that to
- 22:14it and there needs to be some blood and a little bit of like
- 22:17gore it you're not like gore gore because that's not what
- 22:20Fable is really about, right? Like Fable is like one of those
- 22:23whimsical games that and that's what.
- 22:26They said too on this one, right?
- 22:28Like this is going to be like a fantasy.
- 22:30This is more to be a fairy tale rather than like.
- 22:33So it's going to have a bit more of that fun, funny whimsy stuff,
- 22:36apparently. Sorry, I didn't mean to cut you
- 22:38off like that guy. I did learn today in an IGN like
- 22:42short that those originally that original trailer where they had
- 22:46like the office style like interviews like those are not
- 22:49just for the trailer. Those are just in the game.
- 22:52Like that's how there's. Some of the stuff will be talked
- 22:54about. Well, there's 1000 unique MPCS
- 22:59that dialogue all with dialogue they have.
- 23:02They they have a schedule. Like it's cool.
- 23:04Like, it's like red, these NPCS are alive, and I'm glad that
- 23:08that's the route they're going for it.
- 23:11The the world's going to feel lived in.
- 23:13It looks awesome. Albion has never looked better.
- 23:16Yeah, it looks very. Pretty.
- 23:18I kind of I've seen a lot of people getting mad about it's
- 23:22not, it doesn't look like the original Fables, but like at the
- 23:26same time, I'm like like more not cartoony, but there's like a
- 23:30definite different art style to it.
- 23:32But I mean, if they could, if they could have done it in, if
- 23:35they had the money, they would have done it like this.
- 23:37And if they had the technology back then, in my opinion.
- 23:40So. Right.
- 23:41Yes. It's, it's, I mean, it's a, it's
- 23:43a, it's their own studio, you know, it's not, it's different.
- 23:46It's going to it's. Reimagining the fable I saw.
- 23:49More people getting upset about the fact that your face won't
- 23:51change like your character will not change depending on your
- 23:54good or bad actions. You will not, did they?
- 23:56Did they, that is. That is confirmed.
- 23:59That is confirmed that you will not have the.
- 24:02Halo or the horns or anything it was.
- 24:04It was kind of it was kind of like Mass Effect 2, right?
- 24:06Where like if you, because I never played the original Fables
- 24:08that much. But if my understanding is
- 24:10correct, just like in Mass Effect 2, if you made like good
- 24:13decisions, you like would look better versus if you made bad
- 24:17decisions, you would have like more horrifying features.
- 24:20And yeah, that I think that was confirmed that that is not in
- 24:23this game. It wasn't the route that they
- 24:25were taking. That's going to be highly
- 24:27unfortunate then, because that's like, that's the.
- 24:31Biggest Yeah, that's what people liked about Fable.
- 24:33Or like what? One of the things that it was
- 24:34known for, rather. In the original fables, your
- 24:39actions and they're stressing that with this too.
- 24:41And I I, I'm thinking it would be like that.
- 24:45But your. Actions have weight, and that
- 24:47weight reflects upon your character, and that's super
- 24:52important. Like if you're an awful piece of
- 24:54shit, like you'll have awful piece of shit devil horns,
- 24:57you'll look terrifying. If you're a good person, you'll
- 25:00have a Halo and all this stuff and you'll look you'll look
- 25:04angelic and great. So I'm not a fan of them not
- 25:08doing that. I hope they go back to the
- 25:10drawing board. They have time to maybe add some
- 25:12shit like that in or bring it back what they took out.
- 25:16No, it's it's, I mean, it's not there GameSpot, Dixerto, Xbox
- 25:20Wire that. Sucks, that sucks.
- 25:23Come on now. That's not cool.
- 25:26Put it back so. That's kind of my question is,
- 25:32Yeah, Sorry. Go on.
- 25:33I'll let you finish. No, I mean.
- 25:34Fable's not meant to be like the most serious thing in the world.
- 25:37It's meant to be a fairy tale of fun time.
- 25:39And why take something like that away?
- 25:42It's been so iconic in the series for so fucking long that
- 25:45you're taking that one thing away that everyone loved.
- 25:48Like, this is a game about choice.
- 25:50What? What?
- 25:52Like obviously I can read. What He said.
- 25:54If you want. Yeah, yeah.
- 25:55Go on and say what you want. Oh, OK.
- 25:57Yeah, you're good. In the first three fable games,
- 26:00the physical appearance was called it was called morphing
- 26:02was like the term that they used Dan or sorry, Ralph Fulton, who
- 26:08is the general manager and director of the game.
- 26:10He said quote that sort of character morphing feature
- 26:14obviously a really essential part of the original games.
- 26:16It's not in ours. There is no objective good and
- 26:19evil and the original games were predicated on there being an
- 26:21objective good and an objective evil and you were somewhere
- 26:24along that scale and that's a determined how your appearance
- 26:27changed. But for us that doesn't doesn't
- 26:29really work the way I've described our morality system
- 26:31working. You're never that thing.
- 26:33Absolutely. You're different things to
- 26:35different people based on what they like or what they choose to
- 26:38value. So that's one reason it didn't
- 26:39work. You couldn't, so this.
- 26:45That's the end of his quote there.
- 26:47You previously disclosed that the new fable does have a
- 26:49morality scale, but it's not as black and white as the previous
- 26:51games depicted it. Players are defined by their
- 26:53actions, particularly when witnessed by NPC's.
- 26:56They can have different reputations across different
- 26:58towns in the game, which is something like KCD 2 has which.
- 27:02I to to. IGN You couldn't do that if you
- 27:05walked in with horns and a Trident.
- 27:06Your reputation would precede you in that instance.
- 27:08And honestly, that ability to be completely in control of your
- 27:10identity and that's what people think of you, felt more
- 27:13important to us than that legacy feature.
- 27:16When I hear him say that, that makes a lot more sense to me
- 27:20because I don't have a particular title of the original
- 27:22games. I, I don't have a particular
- 27:24hold on them because I only think the only time I ever
- 27:26played one was probably when I was like really young and I was
- 27:29able to play one of the Fable demos on like Xbox 3. 60 I
- 27:33never. Played one of them on Oh yeah,
- 27:35from demo disc. But so that makes a lot more
- 27:40sense though. And that also kind of would
- 27:43like, I guess it's, it's one of those things where it's like if
- 27:47they had the same sort of idea in KCD 2, right, That would kind
- 27:50of feel weird to you. Because if you were doing really
- 27:52good, but then you were shitty in one town, if I had a Halo
- 27:55over my head, it would kind of not make sense to them or me,
- 27:58you know. So I guess I understand it in
- 28:00that aspect. There could be something fun
- 28:03here though to where you have to learn how the balance with like
- 28:07oh shit I've done so many bad things I need to start counter
- 28:11balancing it like the IT doesn't have to just well.
- 28:15I I kind of word. Travels.
- 28:17I don't know dude. Like well.
- 28:19So here's the thing. I'm interested in this and that.
- 28:22Yeah, I am too this. This is actually kind of this
- 28:25could go a different way, which is because I feel like that's
- 28:28always been, now that I think about it, that's kind of always
- 28:30been the thing right With with some of these games that have a
- 28:33morality scale. Is that like there is an object
- 28:38like in as, as in Mass Effect 2, right?
- 28:40There are like paragon choices and renegade choices and they're
- 28:43marked very obviously, which I almost like.
- 28:45I kind of disliked when I was playing it again recently
- 28:48because I was like, I know what I want to do, so I know which
- 28:51one to pick. It's very easy.
- 28:52Everything is. Black and white at that point,
- 28:54right? I just, I just go up to the top
- 28:56one every time because I want to be a nice guy, you know, if I
- 28:58can do it. And I think that that makes it
- 29:02sort of predictable. You know that nearly everyone
- 29:06around you is going to love you because you're going to be a
- 29:08good guy. And then obviously the people
- 29:10that don't like you, they're not going to like you anyway because
- 29:12they're the enemy. They're, you know, they're bad
- 29:13guys in the story or whatever, you know, Red Dead Redemption 2
- 29:17also had a weird morality system because it's odd to be the
- 29:20member of an outlaw gang, but then I get bad karma for
- 29:24shooting someone in the head. Inherently, that's what I'm
- 29:26supposed to do. I'm that guy.
- 29:28I'm that guy, but yet I have to be exceptionally nice to people,
- 29:33which which is a weird thing in in a game like that because
- 29:35guess what? You go through most of that game
- 29:37being a nice guy, and then you play a cutscene where Arthur is
- 29:41a total piece of shit and it doesn't make any sense to you
- 29:44because you've been nice the entire time as him.
- 29:47And then all of a sudden you're watching a cutscene where it's
- 29:49like, I never would have done that if I had another, you know,
- 29:52Like, you know, if I had control right now, I wouldn't have have
- 29:55let him do that. It sort of takes it away from
- 29:57you. So I kind of like this and that
- 29:59you're just going to naturally learn how people value things
- 30:03based off of what you choose to do.
- 30:05Yeah, like, I don't know how you particularly, it's funny, I
- 30:08don't really know how you play a lot of RPG games.
- 30:10If you typically will go nice guy 1st and then bad guy in a
- 30:13second playthrough. Or if you.
- 30:15I've been trying more and more to do something where if I'm
- 30:18going to play a game like that, I'm going to try and answer
- 30:20things as how I would want to answer them, whether it's good.
- 30:22Or bad in the. Moment I'm usually.
- 30:24Thinking about how I would do something, yeah.
- 30:26So that's. Typically what?
- 30:27So we do the same thing first, I'm sure a lot of other people
- 30:30do. So like, that's going to be
- 30:31interesting for me because we're probably going to be taking the
- 30:34nicer route in some instance. And it's going to be interesting
- 30:37to see when you take a nice route with someone right there
- 30:40and then you meet someone who maybe didn't like that nice
- 30:42choice that you made too. And that I think it can go that
- 30:48way where it can be something really in depth and really
- 30:50interesting. I also think it could become
- 30:52something where it is confusing to the player because I agree
- 30:55certain things don't make sense. Like why would anybody be upset
- 30:57about this objectively good choice I made, right?
- 31:00You know they better have this person better have a good reason
- 31:02for not liking, you know that giant thing for example, right
- 31:07like. The Giant.
- 31:09The giant could have destroyed that fucking town and I killed
- 31:12it and it's like, well some NPCS might not like that cuz the
- 31:15value of their house goes down. It's like can I hit that person
- 31:18Cuz they wouldn't have had a house if I didn't stop them.
- 31:20There is so much to unpack here, sorry.
- 31:23I know it was a minute. No, you're.
- 31:25Good. I have so much.
- 31:25I have. I have notes.
- 31:28OK, so Playground Games, this is their new team that's working on
- 31:32this, right? It's their first open world
- 31:34action RPG. They're saying it's faithful to
- 31:38classic Fable. That's fine.
- 31:40I'm happy with that. Chicken kicking is back.
- 31:43That's something. You kick the shot out of
- 31:45chickens and every Fable. It's hilarious.
- 31:47It's pretty funny. The environment looks massive
- 31:50and gorgeous. It looks true open world.
- 31:52That's great. In a world where we are stuck
- 31:55with so many different open world titles, it's this.
- 31:58This does look refreshing to some degree.
- 32:00The skybox looks great. The horizon and vistas look
- 32:03awesome. That's great.
- 32:06Character customization that's now in Fable.
- 32:09That and that looks like it's going to be fun and really good.
- 32:12The comment looks fun, but just not exciting yet.
- 32:15There's no there's not enough weight.
- 32:17There's something. There, But yeah, they need to do
- 32:19a bit more to just Polish it up, make it a bit more fun, the
- 32:22spells. Look cool though, and I can't
- 32:24wait to play with spells in this game.
- 32:25So so classic enemies are back and can injure one another.
- 32:31I was loving that watching yeah hit each other and they're like
- 32:34oh fuck and like knocking each other back.
- 32:36It's very it's very English. This game is always been
- 32:39incredibly English and I love that new enemies are here as
- 32:45well as you know there was a giant cock chicken, a giant
- 32:50chicken in this game chicken arise.
- 32:54You can here comes the second part of the game because it's
- 32:57basically a game within a game so you can buy houses get a job,
- 33:02make money getting that job and buying houses and renting your
- 33:05houses get married have a family have kids, leave your kids go on
- 33:10dates with other people go on dates with your wife.
- 33:11You could purchase every house in Albion or every business in
- 33:15Albion get super rich. This game is a game within a
- 33:19game. It's always been like that
- 33:20because the simulator aspect of life is the second part of Fable
- 33:25that I've always adored, and seeing it in this scale is so
- 33:29awesome to where, like, you know, like you've always been
- 33:32able to like, yeah, I have a family.
- 33:34I'm done with that family. I'm going to have a family over
- 33:35here, though. It's hilarious, dude.
- 33:37This game opens itself up to so many different possibilities and
- 33:39so many different comedic avenues.
- 33:42Perfect perfect, perfect, perfect 1000 MPC's that have
- 33:46daily tasks, a life jobs you can examine is what they're saying
- 33:50in MPC for a full day cycle and it will go about its business.
- 33:56OK, that's it's fantastic. That's gonna be.
- 33:58Tested, right, That's gonna be that's gonna be checked and
- 34:01it'll be pretty interesting to see how that looks, you know?
- 34:04Yeah dude, I will be fucking doing that lip sync and MPC
- 34:07movements and I wrote needs a ton of work and it does.
- 34:12Some of the movement looks good, some of The Walking looks good.
- 34:15Some of the the actual actions look good.
- 34:17But the faces need to be worked on.
- 34:19The lips need to be moved properly in order for me to
- 34:22immerse myself into this game. The minute I started getting bad
- 34:26lip reading and bad animations, I go fuck.
- 34:28I pulled out so they have time. It's it's being worked on.
- 34:32Everything you do in this game earns reputation and each NPC
- 34:37will remember you and your reputation.
- 34:39The MPCS will judge you. Yep.
- 34:42Created by the choices made by the player.
- 34:45That's important. That's fatal.
- 34:47So that's super important. And this game will release
- 34:52autumn 2026 on all platforms. That is that's crazy business.
- 34:59That's awesome. Yeah.
- 35:00Fable, dude, I'm, I'm absolutely 1000% here.
- 35:04For Fable, absolutely 1000%. Oh yeah.
- 35:06I'm going to play it. It looks it looks like a really
- 35:08well, we'll see what happens at the end of this year.
- 35:12We had a lot of things that are supposedly supposed to drop.
- 35:14So let's see how the rest of it shakes out.
- 35:16We got, I mean. Just.
- 35:19Now, Resident Evil, just Yeah, well, next month we have
- 35:23Resident Evil, but I'm thinking about how through the span of
- 35:27September, October, November and December, we're supposedly going
- 35:30to get Marvel's Wolverine fable. Yep.
- 35:34GTA6. Gears of War.
- 35:37Gears of War with Squadron 42, I'm at six.
- 35:40Those are a lot of big games. Possibly Half Life 3.
- 35:45I'm gonna like, do the like I'm trying to do like half, yeah,
- 35:48like half, like put 1/2. One there, that's fine, I'll I
- 35:50accept that. Well, I mean, technically Steam
- 35:53Machine, Steam Machine, Valve, Steam, it's supposed to be
- 35:56frame. They're supposed to.
- 35:57Talk more about it like. We don't have a price, it's.
- 36:01Supposed to be like, yeah, this month or next, right?
- 36:03Yeah, so we're nearly at 7:00 if, if that last one from Nick
- 36:07is is true and does come out in that time frame.
- 36:11So like, I'll freak. Out so like.
- 36:13We're we're nearly at 7 there and I'm sure I'm missing
- 36:15several. So like it it's that's a very
- 36:18like, I mean, I thought last October, I thought I thought
- 36:22last October was busy because it was, but like that's a lot of
- 36:27big games. Like I can't even well, that's
- 36:30the thing, right? It's like October was big
- 36:32because we had a lot of games. But two of them that I can
- 36:34recall off the top of my head were multiplayer shooters, Ark
- 36:38and Battlefield. So those kind of don't have the
- 36:40same life cycle for me as like a single player adventure RPG
- 36:44title like like Fable will or I mean, dude, Marvel's Wolverine.
- 36:49I'm so exciting thinking. My claws into that bigly when I
- 36:53like I. Like I'm almost more interested
- 36:55in playing that over anything else supposedly like GTA 6 is.
- 36:58At this point I'm I'm thinking it's just it might be bad.
- 37:02Like what if it's bad? What if it's not like?
- 37:05You know, I haven't even thought about GTA.
- 37:07I'm just. I'm just thinking it's gonna get
- 37:09delayed again. Honestly, I do too.
- 37:11And now their boiler fucking blew up and caught half the
- 37:13building on fire so well. That's fine, they said.
- 37:15They said work didn't stop, which means that they just kept
- 37:17people at their damn desks while the flames were licking there.
- 37:19Sit down and. Yell it yet?
- 37:23Animate that butt cheek you ever heard of.
- 37:25Crunch. That's what you're in, that's
- 37:27what. You're doing.
- 37:28Right now. But man, yeah, that's a lot of
- 37:32stuff. It's a lot.
- 37:33Of stuff and like I said with this showcase good on the road
- 37:37man not bad not not great. I think good, good.
- 37:41This was good or it was OK, right?
- 37:44Fable was my and Forza were really like the ones there.
- 37:47I was like, yeah, this is sweet, this is good, Yeah.
- 37:51I liked the kiln game. I thought that was cool.
- 37:52I think that I think that'll be fun to play.
- 37:54Yes, I think that'll be fun. I'm way more excited for Forza
- 37:58right now, mostly just due to the fact that it's also a lot
- 38:00sooner. It's right around.
- 38:02The corner I'm. Sure, we'll get more info on
- 38:04Fable. I'm sure we're going to get
- 38:05another trailer or some more gameplay as the year goes on,
- 38:08right? So like I'm, I'm just really
- 38:11excited to to play Forza with you guys soon.
- 38:13That's just going to be a blast. Hands down.
- 38:14It's going to be sweet. I thought.
- 38:16It was a decent showcase. I like that it was, you know,
- 38:18four games and done and like, it's just, you know, I kind of
- 38:21wish we had seen some Gears personally kind of gives you.
- 38:24Some anxiety that it wasn't. There a little like I don't know
- 38:27if maybe they're gonna do it but or like they're gonna make it
- 38:30this year, but. I'm very confused as to where
- 38:33Microsoft's head is at with its first party titles like Gears
- 38:38and Halo. And I mean, if I were them, I'd
- 38:41be also trying to focus maybe a little bit on ID and machine
- 38:44games. We know that there are shit,
- 38:47there's shit in the pipeline. Stein, Wolfenstein.
- 38:51It's confirmed. It's happening.
- 38:53I think Wolfenstein will be before that orange pieces of
- 38:56shit's presidency ends. So this year.
- 39:00This year, dead ass. You guys, you think you think
- 39:02Wolfenstein 3 releases prior or after the show?
- 39:07OK, OK, OK, before we go, because we're not going to talk
- 39:09about the one main thing that you want to talk about that we
- 39:12want to actually like make an episode about.
- 39:14We're going to talk about the rising prices in fucking gaming,
- 39:17especially PC gaming. But does with Wolfenstein 3
- 39:22being confirmed, does that change your end?
- 39:25That we know they're working. We know they're it's an active
- 39:27development, right? Does that change your opinion on
- 39:30the show? I mean, so here's the thing,
- 39:34yes, it does. Because the the show when it was
- 39:38announced only bothered me in the sense of I want them to
- 39:41actually just finish the trilogy.
- 39:43We have one and two. You can't leave three.
- 39:46I mean, 3 has been left alone for quite some time now.
- 39:49You can't leave 3. Worst guy to say that too, by
- 39:56the way he's sitting here. Yeah, I see that fucking face.
- 39:59Like say that shit again. No, like I, yeah, like I, I
- 40:04genuinely, for me, the the show itself was never an issue with
- 40:08like, oh, they're making a show. It's it's more of they're making
- 40:12a show in place of the game. Now that I know that the game is
- 40:14still being made, it's what does the show do differently?
- 40:18Who's it going to cover? Because I don't necessarily want
- 40:20it to cover. I don't want it to cover BJ
- 40:24because we already have the games for that, right?
- 40:26So like, I don't know if you necessarily need to do that.
- 40:30Again, I don't know if we need to see like I guess or if you're
- 40:34going to do it. Is it going to be, I mean, I
- 40:37guess it depends, but OK, I have an idea.
- 40:42It might be this, it might not be.
- 40:44If it is about BJ, what if it's about his time in?
- 40:47If it's taking from 1:00 and 2:00, the more recent games it's
- 40:51taken from those, but it's prior to the first game, so it's BJ's.
- 40:56Time Wolfenstein. It's B.
- 40:57JS time in the war with that with Castle Wolfenstein and it
- 41:01shows how the the Nazi sort of win World War 2 and like that'd
- 41:07be fucking. Awesome.
- 41:08And then? You can have cuz I know that cuz
- 41:10it's basic. Well, I mean, and then at that
- 41:12point though, I feel like it's almost like a limited series
- 41:14because after that and the events of the first game, you
- 41:16know, the first game kicks off and we all know what happens
- 41:18after that. Unless they just decide to do
- 41:20something where it's, you know, we're going to do our own thing
- 41:24because inherently I think that that would be interesting.
- 41:27Or to do something where it's maybe in the current setting of
- 41:32the second game, it's like in like in that timeline and it's
- 41:36just not. It's about maybe some other
- 41:38resistance members that aren't necessarily BJ.
- 41:41This is where I often like, I thought about this actually the
- 41:44other day when you had brought this up or we were talking about
- 41:46this not too long ago. And I find that shows are great
- 41:50for making like I think some show, video game shows can be
- 41:53really good. But I find that a lot of The
- 41:55thing is, is that to make a show successful and to make a show
- 41:58interesting and fun is that you have to have a lot of other
- 42:01elements in the show that just necessarily aren't in the games
- 42:05or like as important in the games, if that makes sense.
- 42:10Right. So like where my head's at with
- 42:11if they were to ever do a Half Life show, I don't need Gordon's
- 42:14story. I want to see the Seven hour
- 42:17War, the resistance. I want to see all that about
- 42:20right that I just. Think that there's other things
- 42:22like like, yeah, so I agree with you in that, but I also see it
- 42:24as like like there are some things that I think are in
- 42:27certain shows that like like I'm trying to find an example in
- 42:31like the Last of Us TV show, but I can't really think of one cuz
- 42:35those pretty much just copy the games Like yeah, Oh well, season
- 42:392 didn't we don't have to talk about that, but like, well to
- 42:44it's detriment, but to be like, like, I feel like in certain
- 42:50aspects, like a Wolfenstein show might get bogged down and
- 42:52covering other things like that we don't necessarily care about
- 42:56at that moment because it's not or need like it's not a part of
- 43:00Wolfenstein games so much. So like why is it so important
- 43:05in that in the show aspect of it like like you wouldn't get a
- 43:09show about just the seven hour war.
- 43:11You would get a lot of other aspects of living there that
- 43:15might be interesting to you, but also might just be like, I know
- 43:19this already, we all know this Episode 3.
- 43:21'S the filler episode what we knew?
- 43:23Like, yeah, it's like this filler episode where it teaches
- 43:26the audience everything that you need to know, right?
- 43:28And, and it's like, I don't know, I, I think it could be
- 43:32really good. But I think it's just going to
- 43:33be interesting how like, what they choose to take from it and
- 43:36what they choose to who they choose to make it about, what
- 43:38they choose to make it about. I mean, at the end of the day,
- 43:39it's going to be about killing Nazis, which is great.
- 43:43That's why, like they said, like, you know, the story of
- 43:44killing Nazis is Evergreen, which I think is really funny.
- 43:48It's a great tagline. It's a great tagline.
- 43:51So yeah, I'm curious to see what they do.
- 43:54I guess it is interesting. And and will it be as violent as
- 43:58the games are? You know, are they going to?
- 44:00I hope so. Like I I hope they use like some
- 44:03fucking get the. People who did the boys in
- 44:05Fallout get? The people.
- 44:06Who did the boys in Fallout? And like, yeah, oof, that's
- 44:11good. Now I'm kind of about it.
- 44:14That's what I'm saying, dude. It's Amazon.
- 44:16So they have those, they have those guys on call.
- 44:18I'm just. Thinking in my head of like BJ
- 44:20with the with the tomahawk or that's.
- 44:23Exactly what I thought or like. No, it's not a tomahawk, it's a
- 44:26hatchet. Yeah, my bad.
- 44:27I was thinking of Assassin's Creed 3.
- 44:29Yeah, Oh my God, he's got. Assembled, but yeah, no.
- 44:33Good luck at home. That's probably why my brother
- 44:36came in and he smiled because it's my mom coming home pissed.
- 44:40Fuck, I'm not about that, I know.
- 44:43But yeah, I'm excited. Like I'm more excited for the
- 44:45game personally, but I am interested in what the show is,
- 44:49is going to do. I guess we'll see Whenever we
- 44:51get a trailer, I'm sure we'll get some like a teaser or
- 44:53something this year. You think?
- 44:54Yeah. I think so.
- 44:55Well, we'll see. What do you think?
- 44:57What are your thoughts on everything?
- 44:59I mean, you already knew. I already know you were excited
- 45:01about the show. I'm.
- 45:02About it. I'm absolutely about a
- 45:04Wolfenstein show. I'm more about it now because we
- 45:08know the game is an active development.
- 45:10We. Don't know what the game is
- 45:11going to be yet, so I don't want to say if we think the show's
- 45:14going to be before or after, But if we're assuming that it's
- 45:17going to be the the the trilogy, the third, the third game, I
- 45:23would say that the show will probably be if it's about BJ,
- 45:26probably before, because inherently we're going to you
- 45:30can't do you know what I mean? Because you can't do it's the
- 45:33third game, but the show is going to air 1st and it's after
- 45:36the events of the third game. Cuz then people you know, you
- 45:38and I were. Watching What the fuck is this?
- 45:40Yeah. So it has to be before at that
- 45:42point or it has to be a different story, you know, set
- 45:46in the 80s and with people who maybe are living in Nazi France
- 45:51still or something like that, who knows, like.
- 45:54And we'll see, dude. Like I, I think going to Castle
- 45:56Wolfenstein would be sweet for a couple of episodes and then you
- 45:59could do a flash forward where BJ's at now type of thing.
- 46:01I'm excited for this. I want this.
- 46:03I've always wanted something Wolfenstein like this to happen,
- 46:07and knowing the third game's on its way is incredible.
- 46:10I love this series. Here's a question, do you think
- 46:13it's going to take more after the newer games where it's more
- 46:17futuristic Nazi tech or do you think it's going to do more of a
- 46:20Wolfenstein 3 where it's more occult Nazi stuff?
- 46:24I think they'll go more for the occult.
- 46:26I think they'll show that would be really.
- 46:28Good. Like horror too.
- 46:29Like that. Yeah, I think.
- 46:30They'll show off a bit of the Nazis starting out like just
- 46:35like in our in our world, essentially.
- 46:37And then they'll show them maybe getting an artifact that Hitler
- 46:40was actually in search for in the in our world, in the in.
- 46:44The real world, he was. Yeah, he was.
- 46:46Him and Himmler were actually in search for the occult.
- 46:50This is that was mainly Himmler's thing I.
- 46:53Wasn't laughing at that, I just had a funny thought in my head
- 46:55of seeing a scene in the show where they casually mentioned
- 46:58that Hitler's alive on Venus and the audience is just completely
- 47:01befuddled. And I think they should do that.
- 47:04I think they should do a lot like that.
- 47:05They should be like, yeah, Hitler's on Venus.
- 47:06People would be like, what the fuck is this?
- 47:08Well, it. Shows how different this world
- 47:11is right It shows how how different that that world is
- 47:13with with the Nazis winning and I think that that was that's an
- 47:17interesting very interesting point of the newest House of.
- 47:20Cards but like at the same time yeah this is this is way
- 47:26different because it's gonna show one very pissed off human
- 47:30who his only thing he wants to do is destroy them he's like
- 47:35the. Doom guy but for Nazis.
- 47:37Like yes, while they're really. Yeah, they're related.
- 47:39That makes sense. Yeah.
- 47:41So, yeah, OK. I'm excited.
- 47:43No, I'm excited for both. I'm much more excited for the
- 47:46game, obviously, yeah. Yeah, I can't wait to kill Nazis
- 47:49again. But friends, we're gonna wrap it
- 47:53up. We have games to play.
- 47:54We do have. Games to play.
