- 0:42Speaker 2: Ryan and Caleb filling in for Chip on this Friday afternoon.
- 0:49Speaker 2: All right, so this weekend and in basketball, both men's
- 0:53Speaker 2: and women's taking on Texas. They're both on the road,
- 0:57Speaker 2: are they not? I believe, but I think he was
- 1:00Speaker 2: telling me like they're both, Uh, yeah, it's kind of crazy. Yeah,
- 1:02Speaker 2: it's it's kind of crazy. But anyways, I'm going to
- 1:05Speaker 2: focus more on the men's side because there's a lot
- 1:07Speaker 2: of interest with that matchup. This weekend, especially given what
- 1:11Speaker 2: Texas has done in their last two games, going on
- 1:14Speaker 2: the road and beating Alabama and then coming home and
- 1:18Speaker 2: handing Vanderbilt their first.
- 1:20Speaker 5: Loss of the season. Yeah, they've gotten really hot.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Two top fifteen wins for Texas. So this is all
- 1:26Speaker 2: of a sudden kind of a really important game.
- 1:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:29Speaker 2: I mean it's Texas, so it's always going to be
- 1:30Speaker 2: an important game for A and M, but like now,
- 1:32Speaker 2: really so, especially because A and M came off that
- 1:35Speaker 2: loss against Tennessee just a couple of nights ago, which
- 1:38Speaker 2: they should have won.
- 1:38Speaker 5: Yeah, they were right there.
- 1:40Speaker 2: Hit your darn free throws please.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Or box somebody out for a rebound. Yeah, one of
- 1:44Speaker 5: the two things, and you'd have won that game wouldn't
- 1:46Speaker 5: even have to go to overtime.
- 1:47Speaker 2: I was a little little annoying, but no.
- 1:49Speaker 5: Yeah, those the last five minutes and the two overtimes
- 1:53Speaker 5: of that game were really hard to watch. I threw
- 1:56Speaker 5: my phone into the floorboard of my truck a couple
- 1:58Speaker 5: of times.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I blame you one bits. So this weekend you got
- 2:03Speaker 2: to them play in Texas. That game is tomorrow, it
- 2:05Speaker 2: is five o'clock. It's on the road. Is it is
- 2:08Speaker 2: in Austin. We have audio from Bucky previewing of that game,
- 2:12Speaker 2: So we're gonna go ahead and get into that. We're
- 2:13Speaker 2: gonna listen to that. We'll come back on the other
- 2:15Speaker 2: side of that.
- 2:17Speaker 4: You know, y'all have been a resilient team. Yeah, is
- 2:21Speaker 4: that I guess that resiliency is going to be really
- 2:25Speaker 4: tested coming up off of a you know, a disappointing
- 2:28Speaker 4: loss the way that was and then going on the
- 2:30Speaker 4: road against the team that's playing I guess best basketball.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Of the year.
- 2:34Speaker 6: Yeah, you maintained that resiliency.
- 2:36Speaker 7: Well, you just got to play good. That's all you
- 2:38Speaker 7: gotta can worry about in this league. I mean, I mean,
- 2:41Speaker 7: I'd much rather Field have the feeling that, Hey, we
- 2:45Speaker 7: played good at Tennessee in a lot of ways and
- 2:48Speaker 7: as a post and it was a tough loss because
- 2:50Speaker 7: it's a double overtime. Then we got blown out by
- 2:53Speaker 7: thirty playing bad and it wasn't as tough at then, Right,
- 2:55Speaker 7: So you know, we're playing good ball, We're playing some
- 2:58Speaker 7: of probably our best basketball, and so are they. And
- 3:02Speaker 7: in this league, it's just margins are small. Like we've
- 3:05Speaker 7: been on you know, the the LSU game, the Oklahoma
- 3:09Speaker 7: game of the Auburn game, all one or two possession
- 3:12Speaker 7: games under four minutes to play, and you know we
- 3:15Speaker 7: put all those out this.
- 3:16Speaker 6: Time, we didn't get it done.
- 3:17Speaker 7: I would expect every night in this league it to
- 3:20Speaker 7: be a one or two possession game. And sometimes you
- 3:22Speaker 7: can look at a player to at the end a
- 3:24Speaker 7: free throw, a shot this, but you can also point
- 3:27Speaker 7: to things at the start of the game like, well,
- 3:29Speaker 7: we missed that blockout, could have controlled that, we got
- 3:32Speaker 7: that rebound, that we took two points off the board,
- 3:35Speaker 7: and so you know that's the league.
- 3:38Speaker 6: Man, The margins are small.
- 3:39Speaker 7: If you're not tough, you're not resilient, you're not gonna
- 3:41Speaker 7: have much of a chance no matter who you play.
- 3:43Speaker 8: You talk about how tough it is like to play
- 3:45Speaker 8: in this conference, and every game matters. But from your perspective,
- 3:49Speaker 8: have you seen just how important this rivalry in this
- 3:52Speaker 8: game is for the two fan bases.
- 3:53Speaker 7: I have seen the fan bases, you know, for the
- 3:55Speaker 7: football game. You know, at the end of the day,
- 3:59Speaker 7: basketball is a little bit different than football, obviously, because you
- 4:03Speaker 7: know football, there's so many games in basketball, right and
- 4:10Speaker 7: a lot of times when it comes to rivalry, wereaking football.
- 4:12Speaker 7: It's the last game of the season that determines, you know,
- 4:16Speaker 7: are you making the playoffs or not.
- 4:18Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 4:19Speaker 7: In basketball, there's a wide variety game that the truth
- 4:22Speaker 7: is that it may mean more to a fan base
- 4:24Speaker 7: just a passion of it, but it doesn't mean any
- 4:27Speaker 7: more than any SEC game. And I'm not saying that
- 4:30Speaker 7: to downplay this game. I'm saying that that we that
- 4:32Speaker 7: we focus that every game means a great deal, you
- 4:35Speaker 7: know what I mean. And so but we got to
- 4:38Speaker 7: just focus. If our players got to block out all
- 4:40Speaker 7: the noise and just know that our success is gonna
- 4:43Speaker 7: in this game is going to be on their ability
- 4:46Speaker 7: to focus on the things that equate to winning basketball,
- 4:50Speaker 7: and that's playing good basketball, playing hard, playing unselfish, playing together,
- 4:54Speaker 7: blocking out the noise, and knowing that with any game,
- 4:57Speaker 7: acknowledging the fact that you can lose any game, and
- 5:02Speaker 7: so take that right off you. Yeah, you can lose
- 5:05Speaker 7: at Tennessee, you could lose at Auburn. So let's go
- 5:08Speaker 7: play to win because if you do come on the
- 5:11Speaker 7: wrong side of it, guess what we're gonna do the
- 5:12Speaker 7: next game. We're gonna line it up and we're gonna
- 5:14Speaker 7: play attacking basketball.
- 5:16Speaker 6: And if we win, we're gonna shake their hand. We lose,
- 5:19Speaker 6: we're gonna shake their hand.
- 5:20Speaker 7: We're we'll come back the next game and play attacking,
- 5:22Speaker 7: aggressive basketball, and that's probably the best way to have
- 5:26Speaker 7: most success.
- 5:27Speaker 8: To that point. Do you have any conversations in form
- 5:31Speaker 8: the guys who might not be around here what this
- 5:34Speaker 8: means to the fans or do you just kind of
- 5:36Speaker 8: leave that in the stands and this is another game.
- 5:39Speaker 7: I just think that when it comes to the success
- 5:41Speaker 7: on the floor, we got to stay focused on everything
- 5:44Speaker 7: that we do that matters to playing good basketball. And
- 5:49Speaker 7: just because of a fan may may be more passionate
- 5:53Speaker 7: about one game than the other, that doesn't give us
- 5:55Speaker 7: any points. And if we start focusing on stuff like that,
- 5:59Speaker 7: we're not focusing on the things that are going to
- 6:01Speaker 7: equate to what we have to do to win and
- 6:04Speaker 7: be successful. And I say win, I should just say
- 6:06Speaker 7: to be successful whatever that means, right, because being successful
- 6:10Speaker 7: basketball and doing the things that equal success and the
- 6:13Speaker 7: fundamentals of basketball gonna give you the best chance to
- 6:15Speaker 7: win either way. So I would have I would talk
- 6:17Speaker 7: to our players about focusing on that everything that's in
- 6:22Speaker 7: between the lines and not worrying about anything else present.
- 6:26Speaker 9: Well, you've got a few members of your team that
- 6:29Speaker 9: have been on the other side of this rivalry. I'm
- 6:32Speaker 9: just curious what kind of impact you've seen from especially
- 6:35Speaker 9: coach Hayth and coach Darby on your team this season
- 6:39Speaker 9: in particular.
- 6:40Speaker 6: Are they been great?
- 6:41Speaker 7: I mean they've both been at A and M, and
- 6:43Speaker 7: they've both been over there with that other place, and they, uh.
- 6:48Speaker 6: You know, they're bad.
- 6:50Speaker 7: They're glad to be back in heaven over here, you know,
- 6:52Speaker 7: and but they're they've been great for us in our
- 6:55Speaker 7: program and you know, they love it here and they've
- 6:58Speaker 7: been a big impact on on what we're doing, and
- 7:01Speaker 7: well obviously big big impact going forward.
- 7:04Speaker 4: How imprecious have you been with Rashaun? Not just for
- 7:07Speaker 4: the dumbers he's put up, but you know, happened so
- 7:10Speaker 4: often to go up seems like, you know, going up
- 7:13Speaker 4: against guys that are consistently bigger him, sometimes more than one.
- 7:18Speaker 7: I mean they measured him without his shoes on the
- 7:20Speaker 7: other day at six or five in a quarter. I
- 7:22Speaker 7: mean we're talking about we're in the sec with our
- 7:24Speaker 7: you know, starting center sixty five in a quarter.
- 7:27Speaker 6: That's our tallest player on the floor. So, like.
- 7:31Speaker 7: You know, you sometimes you don't see it on TV,
- 7:34Speaker 7: but the heart that our team plays with is just
- 7:36Speaker 7: like it's extreme. You know, like even at Tennessee, like say, man,
- 7:42Speaker 7: they got a lot we we got to really fight
- 7:43Speaker 7: for rebombers.
- 7:44Speaker 6: We really got to block out.
- 7:44Speaker 7: A lot of times we are blocking out. Most of
- 7:46Speaker 7: the time we are fighting blocking out, you know. I
- 7:49Speaker 7: mean you watch the last play on the freethomy Rubin
- 7:51Speaker 7: and Pop. I've never seen two guys are going to
- 7:53Speaker 7: block out order and they're blocking out that game. But
- 7:56Speaker 7: so they're battling, they're scrapping, you know. Uh, Kensey's usually
- 8:00Speaker 7: in that spot to rebound. He was our tallest player
- 8:03Speaker 7: that was usually in there. So Rashawn's what he's done
- 8:07Speaker 7: to get these double doubles with literally, you know, nobody
- 8:11Speaker 7: out there that you would consider a great rebounder.
- 8:13Speaker 6: When when McKenzie went.
- 8:14Speaker 7: Out, I mean, it's just a sheer will And I
- 8:18Speaker 7: mean I asked him about us playing small, and I said,
- 8:20Speaker 7: I mean, do you think we're gonna be a rebound
- 8:23Speaker 7: This was you know, when when McKinzie got hurt and
- 8:26Speaker 7: he said, you know, yeah, we'll be a real because
- 8:29Speaker 7: I'll get the rebound.
- 8:31Speaker 6: Because I'll get the rebound.
- 8:32Speaker 7: You know, Like that's the mindset you want of a player,
- 8:35Speaker 7: like not like someone else at Y'll like I'll get
- 8:38Speaker 7: the rebound. And he's been he's been elite at doing that.
- 8:41Speaker 7: I mean, he was wrestling freaking Grizzly Bears down there
- 8:44Speaker 7: at Tennessee. I mean I sent someone a text for
- 8:47Speaker 7: the games, like, these guys look like Tronto source Rex
- 8:50Speaker 7: is out there, you know, and he's just coming in
- 8:52Speaker 7: one after another. And I mean at halftime, you know,
- 8:54Speaker 7: he's just he hadn't even take tak him. He scored
- 8:57Speaker 7: two points at half, and all I could talk about
- 8:59Speaker 7: was Rashawn holding it down, fighting these guys on the block.
- 9:03Speaker 6: Just so we'd have a chance in the game.
- 9:05Speaker 7: And so he's he's obviously invaluable to this group.
- 9:09Speaker 10: I guess kind of off to that point, what have
- 9:11Speaker 10: you guys been working with with Jamie and Fetti in particular,
- 9:14Speaker 10: try and get more production out of them when when
- 9:17Speaker 10: Rashawn needs to take a break.
- 9:18Speaker 8: And you got to bring those guys on.
- 9:20Speaker 6: Yeah, good question.
- 9:20Speaker 7: I think the biggest thing that Jamie and Fetti got
- 9:23Speaker 7: to do that I mean the physicality if you're up
- 9:27Speaker 7: there in the Tennessee game off the ball, and I'm
- 9:30Speaker 7: not saying that every foul was called, so it is
- 9:34Speaker 7: you got to play with more of a reckless abandon
- 9:36Speaker 7: off the ball, Like okay, if you if you go,
- 9:39Speaker 7: if you're extra aggressive blocking a shot, getting a rebound,
- 9:42Speaker 7: blocking out, and they call a foul, it's not a
- 9:45Speaker 7: life sentence, bro, It's one.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Foul, right, you know what I mean?
- 9:49Speaker 7: Like, but we can't have our guys come back, come
- 9:52Speaker 7: in the game and you know be like, well, I
- 9:55Speaker 7: don't want to you know, I don't want to get
- 9:57Speaker 7: a foul.
- 9:58Speaker 6: I don't want to get my sweat on them.
- 10:00Speaker 7: Right, Like, those guys got to be more aggressive because
- 10:03Speaker 7: you know they have fouls to give. And we're not
- 10:05Speaker 7: saying we went intentionally foul players, but they have to
- 10:08Speaker 7: play more reckless of band.
- 10:09Speaker 6: Going getting rebounds and being aggressive blocking shots.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Okay, I know you haven't been around, so maybe you
- 10:16Speaker 4: don't know, but are you aware of the particular thorn
- 10:19Speaker 4: in the side to and him that the Tremond mark
- 10:22Speaker 4: has been the one of the Texas guards.
- 10:26Speaker 7: Yeah, you're talking about for for them? No, I don't know, Yeah, yeah,
- 10:30Speaker 7: I don't know the details of it. Yeah, I mean
- 10:32Speaker 7: I know I know that I know the games last year,
- 10:36Speaker 7: I don't know the details.
- 10:37Speaker 6: I know the scorers and kind of what happened, but
- 10:38Speaker 6: I don't know who did what in those games. You know, now,
- 10:42Speaker 6: I've seen the Thornton side.
- 10:44Speaker 7: He's been for other teams, you know what I'm saying
- 10:48Speaker 7: as I've been watching games here this year. But you know,
- 10:51Speaker 7: they got a really good, talented team like they got.
- 10:55Speaker 7: I mean, they're starting five is really a talented group,
- 10:58Speaker 7: and it took them to get it going. And when
- 11:02Speaker 7: they've played well, they played really well. And so they're
- 11:05Speaker 7: a good group. All their players are are are good
- 11:07Speaker 7: players when they're when they're playing good. So that's what
- 11:11Speaker 7: makes the team tough to stop. It's not just one guy.
- 11:13Speaker 7: They got several guys in starting five that can get going.
- 11:16Speaker 10: I guess to that point too, you've had a chance
- 11:18Speaker 10: to really dive into the last two games that they've played,
- 11:21Speaker 10: just kind of in your scout what what stood out
- 11:23Speaker 10: that you know they were able to go and beat
- 11:25Speaker 10: teams like Alabama and Vanderbilt have been at the top
- 11:28Speaker 10: of the league throughout the first couple of months of
- 11:29Speaker 10: the season.
- 11:30Speaker 7: Yeah, I mean they're playing hard. Uh, they're playing good defense.
- 11:33Speaker 7: They you know, they're they're hungry. They they kind of
- 11:39Speaker 7: lost a game at Firs, Mississippi State that was right there,
- 11:41Speaker 7: that could have gone either way, and they bounced back
- 11:44Speaker 7: from that played Tennessee and you know, Tennessee kind of
- 11:48Speaker 7: got away from that game got away from them. But
- 11:51Speaker 7: I mean they're playing like a confident group. And when
- 11:53Speaker 7: you when you put their players on the floor, the
- 11:56Speaker 7: when they're doing what they do do well, the the
- 11:59Speaker 7: wh they're playing bandy And I'm watching that game, I
- 12:01Speaker 7: certainly didn't look at that game and think, you know,
- 12:05Speaker 7: Vandy had more than they did player for player when
- 12:07Speaker 7: I watch that game, I just was watching that and
- 12:09Speaker 7: it's just they won their matchups. You know, their their
- 12:12Speaker 7: position player played better than the position player they're playing
- 12:15Speaker 7: against for bandy. I've known Sean, their coach, a long time.
- 12:19Speaker 7: He does a great job. He Actually I coached a
- 12:21Speaker 7: kid in high school that went to Xavier, a guy
- 12:26Speaker 7: nam Kobe Jones, who end up going to the NBA.
- 12:28Speaker 6: So I've known Sean a long time.
- 12:30Speaker 7: As brother Archie recruited one of my players in high
- 12:33Speaker 7: school so I know that he does a great job.
- 12:36Speaker 7: I mean, so you know they're gonna they're prepared, and
- 12:39Speaker 7: then their their players are playing pretty good.
- 12:41Speaker 6: You know, they're playing good ball right now.
- 12:43Speaker 10: I think Texas is one of the top teams in
- 12:46Speaker 10: free throw attempts. Have you talked to your guys a
- 12:48Speaker 10: lot about avoiding like foulsand and how to avoid falling.
- 12:52Speaker 7: More, Jamie, Now, we got to be a great got
- 13:00Speaker 7: to be aggressive, and I mean we're not like our
- 13:04Speaker 7: defense right now in league play. I mean, is actually
- 13:06Speaker 7: the third rate of defense in league play and SEC
- 13:09Speaker 7: play right now. And we're doing that with not the
- 13:12Speaker 7: best offensive, not the best defensive rebound rate.
- 13:14Speaker 6: If we could clan the defense rebound rate, we'd move
- 13:16Speaker 6: way up, you know.
- 13:17Speaker 7: But our foul rate is not that high. Like it's
- 13:20Speaker 7: not like we're extreme. I mean, you know, we gotta
- 13:22Speaker 7: we gotta play aggressive b us. Now, I will say
- 13:24Speaker 7: this in the in the last game, you know, we
- 13:27Speaker 7: had a couple of fouls that we could have avoided
- 13:30Speaker 7: in the full court that were just we can't have
- 13:33Speaker 7: those kind of fouls like where we just like, hey man,
- 13:35Speaker 7: just banana off the guy, Like there's no need for that.
- 13:38Speaker 7: We got to avoid those fouls, but the aggressive fouls,
- 13:40Speaker 7: like you know, we gotta we gotta live with some
- 13:43Speaker 7: of those.
- 13:44Speaker 8: You know, what does this start to conference play with
- 13:46Speaker 8: some many close games and closing out so many close
- 13:49Speaker 8: games done to the team's confidence.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Yeah, it's been great.
- 13:52Speaker 2: I know.
- 13:52Speaker 6: That's why I say, like, you know, we can get
- 13:54Speaker 6: caught up like game slips away here or there where
- 13:56Speaker 6: you're right there to win it.
- 13:57Speaker 7: But there's also a lot of games on the flip
- 14:00Speaker 7: side that that we executed and won, right. I mean,
- 14:03Speaker 7: you know, we're at Pitt, I could have gone they
- 14:06Speaker 7: were winning under eight minutes to play Oklahoma, they're winning
- 14:10Speaker 7: under eight minutes to play right Auburn. I mean we're
- 14:13Speaker 7: down by big deficit. We win by two points.
- 14:16Speaker 6: LSU. Could have gone either way.
- 14:18Speaker 7: Right, So the ones that stick out are those wonders
- 14:21Speaker 7: like Dame, we're right there and we don't pull it out.
- 14:24Speaker 7: The good thing that I did, like in the even
- 14:26Speaker 7: in the last game, not getting results or any our
- 14:28Speaker 7: overtime in the last game was our best job of
- 14:32Speaker 7: executing of any game we played.
- 14:35Speaker 6: We we we school. There's low possession.
- 14:38Speaker 7: I think they're like six or seven shots in overtime
- 14:41Speaker 7: where Sean makes an uncontested lap that we run a
- 14:44Speaker 7: ball screen picture do Ryley makes two free Those gets
- 14:46Speaker 7: to the line where Sean has two layups in overtime
- 14:50Speaker 7: on a lob and then on another one. He makes
- 14:51Speaker 7: it about ninety five percent of the time and Ruben
- 14:53Speaker 7: has a three that it makes about ninety percent of
- 14:55Speaker 7: the time. So if you not getting results oriented on, hey,
- 14:59Speaker 7: we missed those any like, the quality of shots that
- 15:01Speaker 7: we got was the best we had the entire game
- 15:05Speaker 7: in the first overtime, and so my point is something's
- 15:09Speaker 7: good is going on right there in those spots that
- 15:11Speaker 7: were getting the looks that we want.
- 15:13Speaker 6: I don't care.
- 15:14Speaker 7: I honestly don't care if we make or miss them.
- 15:15Speaker 7: That's just gonna take care of yourself over time, you know. So,
- 15:20Speaker 7: as opposed to the SMU game, I felt when we
- 15:23Speaker 7: went to overtime, we didn't get any paint touches. We
- 15:28Speaker 7: were taking non rim we were taking non paint touch threes,
- 15:32Speaker 7: as opposed to the last game where we're literally in
- 15:35Speaker 7: the paint shooting layups and wide open uncontested shots.
- 15:38Speaker 6: So that's a good sign.
- 15:41Speaker 2: That's Bucky McMillan, right, there ahead of the game against
- 15:45Speaker 2: Texas tomorrow five o'clock, Aggie's will be on the road
- 15:49Speaker 2: in Austin. That'll be a big one. Excited to watch
- 15:52Speaker 2: see how that one unfolds. Staying on the topic of
- 15:55Speaker 2: college basketball, and I guess we'll hit on the smaller
- 15:57Speaker 2: story of the two here before we get into the one.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Did want to quickly glaze over the transfer portal changes
- 16:04Speaker 2: that they made because I actually think it's good.
- 16:06Speaker 5: Yeah. I like the way that they're going.
- 16:08Speaker 6: To do it.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I like the way they're doing it. And it's
- 16:09Speaker 2: not just college basketball. It's actually applying to several different sports,
- 16:13Speaker 2: but I think college basketball is the biggest one in
- 16:17Speaker 2: terms of those different ones. So here's what they changed.
- 16:19Speaker 2: The transfer windows in basketball will now open for a
- 16:23Speaker 2: fifteen day period the day after each sports championship game.
- 16:28Speaker 2: These are effective immediately changes, so they're already applied into effect.
- 16:33Speaker 2: So the spring basketball window will open April seventh through
- 16:37Speaker 2: twenty first for men and April sixth through twentieth for women. Now, Previously,
- 16:42Speaker 2: if you're not familiar with how they did it, the
- 16:43Speaker 2: window was open for thirty days and began after the
- 16:46Speaker 2: second round of the NCAA tournaments, so as the later
- 16:50Speaker 2: rounds were going on, the transfer portal would be actively open,
- 16:52Speaker 2: which was always stupid. So I'm glad that they have
- 16:56Speaker 2: changed this, and then also after a head coaching change,
- 17:00Speaker 2: have a fifteen day period that opens and for teams
- 17:04Speaker 2: obviously going through that sort of thing. So these are
- 17:06Speaker 2: positive changes that I think will be beneficial for that
- 17:09Speaker 2: both of those sports going forward. What's not so beneficial
- 17:13Speaker 2: is the scandal that came out yesterday. And it feels
- 17:17Speaker 2: like it's every other week now that we're getting some
- 17:19Speaker 2: sort of point shaving gambling thing, whether it's the NBA
- 17:23Speaker 2: or whether it's college.
- 17:24Speaker 5: We're finally realizing that everything's you know, rigged.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Yeah. So this came out yesterday involving more than thirty
- 17:32Speaker 2: nine players on seventeen NCAA Division I teams that resulted
- 17:38Speaker 2: in dozens of games in the previous two seasons being
- 17:41Speaker 2: fixed by a gambling ring that included also a former
- 17:46Speaker 2: player of the NBA. And that's according to a federal
- 17:49Speaker 2: indictment that was unsealed yesterday out of the Eastern District
- 17:53Speaker 2: of Pennsylvania. So twenty of the twenty six defendants played
- 17:58Speaker 2: college basketball during the twenty twenty three, twenty twenty four,
- 18:01Speaker 2: and or last season according to that indictment. As a
- 18:06Speaker 2: matter of fact, four of the players charge actually played
- 18:09Speaker 2: for their current teams within the last week. So people
- 18:13Speaker 2: from this thing are actively still in college basketball right now.
- 18:17Speaker 5: The best thing about this is, like the one with DePaul,
- 18:21Speaker 5: there was a player on to Paul that was just
- 18:24Speaker 5: playing really well, and the other guys on to Paul
- 18:26Speaker 5: were like, no, keep the ball away from him, because
- 18:29Speaker 5: they were all recruited and that guy I wasn't. It
- 18:31Speaker 5: was like the White Sox, they went out right, dude.
- 18:35Speaker 2: There's so many different layers to this story right here,
- 18:38Speaker 2: but basically how they kind of described this, and this
- 18:41Speaker 2: is per the authorities. They described five defendants as quote
- 18:44Speaker 2: unquote fixers who would recruit players to participate in the
- 18:49Speaker 2: scheme and then would offer bribes ranging anywhere from ten
- 18:52Speaker 2: thousand dollars to thirty thousand dollars to intentionally underperform. Then
- 18:57Speaker 2: you would have better's place wagers on the games. And
- 19:01Speaker 2: they result of that one they won millions of dollars
- 19:04Speaker 2: on these fixed games. So the former NBA player that
- 19:08Speaker 2: I mentioned earlier, Antonio Blankeny, at which I believe was
- 19:13Speaker 2: an LSU player before playing two seasons with the Chicago Bulls.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Apparently he was named but not charged in the indictment,
- 19:21Speaker 2: but he was allegedly part of a group that recruited
- 19:24Speaker 2: players to participate in this scheme. His sets played games
- 19:27Speaker 2: overseas in China and Israel. And from what I read,
- 19:30Speaker 2: this whole thing started with the CBA, and then once
- 19:34Speaker 2: they realized how successful it was over there, then they
- 19:36Speaker 2: started trying to recruit college players and they would target
- 19:40Speaker 2: ones where they could outweigh the NIL or other things
- 19:45Speaker 2: that they would make with the money that they would
- 19:48Speaker 2: win doing.
- 19:48Speaker 5: People playing at DePaul or Robert Morris are not making
- 19:51Speaker 5: that very much money in an IL if any.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Yeah quote they quoted for whom the bride payments would meaningfully,
- 19:57Speaker 2: meaningfully supplement or exceed legitimate IL opportunities.
- 20:01Speaker 5: Yeah, we can kind of roll this into the police
- 20:03Speaker 5: reports because I know also again with the dumb criminals,
- 20:06Speaker 5: they texted each other about this, like, hey, let's have
- 20:09Speaker 5: a digital record of this illegal activity. That's a good idea.
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yeah. And so I actually saw Thamill tweets from yesterday
- 20:16Speaker 2: where he actually listed off some of the wagers and
- 20:19Speaker 2: games this was involved in. He said it was approximately
- 20:23Speaker 2: four hundred and fifty eight thousand dollars on thousand to
- 20:26Speaker 2: be unc and.
- 20:27Speaker 5: T Yeah, that's not suspicious at all.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Approximately four hundred and twenty four thousand dollars on kent
- 20:34Speaker 2: State to cover the first half spread against Buffalo. You
- 20:38Speaker 2: had two hundred and seventy five thousand dollars on South
- 20:40Speaker 2: Alabama to cover the first half spread against Southern miss.
- 20:44Speaker 2: You had two hundred and fifty six thousand dollars on
- 20:47Speaker 2: Northern Kentucky to cover the first half spread against Robert Morris.
- 20:51Speaker 2: So if you're kind of catching a pattern here, it's
- 20:53Speaker 2: a lot of these mid major schools where this was happening. Ads.
- 20:56Speaker 2: I think there was only one that I saw, and
- 20:59Speaker 2: it was you mentioned DePaul. It was just over fifty
- 21:03Speaker 2: grand on Saint John's to cover the first half spread
- 21:06Speaker 2: against DePaul. So here we are again. I feel like
- 21:11Speaker 2: this is just the I don't know the analogy that
- 21:15Speaker 2: I'm trying to make with this, but it keeps happening,
- 21:19Speaker 2: and it really just makes me wonder what else there
- 21:22Speaker 2: is that we just haven't dug up yet. Because I
- 21:24Speaker 2: will say, and Louie has been adamant to me about
- 21:28Speaker 2: the NBA, at least not so much college basketball. But
- 21:31Speaker 2: he is. And if you listen to his show, you
- 21:33Speaker 2: know that the NBA is dead to him. This dude
- 21:35Speaker 2: has not watched the NBA since the nineties. Like, yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 2: when they were interrupting the Finals because OJ was running
- 21:41Speaker 2: from the cops. Like that's the last time that Louie
- 21:44Speaker 2: was watching the NBA because going off, Yeah, exactly, because
- 21:48Speaker 2: the whole thing is rigged.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Dare I say, And I don't know if you even
- 21:55Speaker 5: have to dare to say, And.
- 21:57Speaker 2: I mean I dare to say it because I'm I'm
- 21:58Speaker 2: still an active NBA fan.
- 22:00Speaker 5: I mean, it's somewhat I don't even know if I
- 22:03Speaker 5: could say it's enjoyable, because I mean, the best player
- 22:06Speaker 5: in the NBA right now is SGA, and he just
- 22:09Speaker 5: gets fouls. Oh, I know the whole thing.
- 22:11Speaker 2: The Rockets played the Thunder last night.
- 22:13Speaker 5: I am I just don't get it. I don't understand
- 22:15Speaker 5: why I would rather watch college basketball. I mean, I
- 22:18Speaker 5: know the fowls still determine the game a lot of
- 22:20Speaker 5: the times, but at least they let him play a
- 22:22Speaker 5: little bit.
- 22:23Speaker 2: I do watch college basketball much more like.
- 22:26Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I definitely. I don't ever maybe watched two
- 22:28Speaker 5: NBA games a year. I watch most of the Aggies games.
- 22:32Speaker 2: I will watch the NBA playoffs, as Trey over here
- 22:36Speaker 2: on the board was just alluding to that the NBA
- 22:38Speaker 2: playoffs are good and nothing else. I will watch like
- 22:41Speaker 2: full force the NBA playoffs, but the regular season I
- 22:44Speaker 2: just I pay attention to because the Rockets have gotten
- 22:47Speaker 2: good again.
- 22:48Speaker 5: In theory, I would enjoy watching the NBA because it's
- 22:51Speaker 5: fun to watch people know how to shoot a three.
- 22:55Speaker 5: I know, like watching Steph Curry is a lot of fun, yes,
- 22:59Speaker 5: watching especially like the splash.
- 23:01Speaker 2: Because he was always eliminating my Rockets like every year
- 23:04Speaker 2: through it for a good decade, even last year, like
- 23:06Speaker 2: even when the Rocks still doing it.
- 23:08Speaker 5: The Rockets had one of the best backcourts in history
- 23:11Speaker 5: with in my opinion, with Chris Paul and James Harden.
- 23:14Speaker 5: I think that was a.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Great back I still have nightmares about that because I
- 23:18Speaker 2: maintained that if Chris Paul had not gotten hurt, the
- 23:20Speaker 2: Rockets would have won the title that year. They would
- 23:22Speaker 2: have went seven with him like that. I I'm gonna
- 23:25Speaker 2: get sad if I talk about that. Again, dude, I'm
- 23:27Speaker 2: not even kidding, like when I rank the games.
- 23:30Speaker 5: Like the Eggies with Brad Montgomery a couple of years
- 23:32Speaker 5: ago in baseball.
- 23:33Speaker 2: I've grown up a Houston sports fan, Okay, So there
- 23:35Speaker 2: are very few things that can have me like actually
- 23:38Speaker 2: lose sleep at night because I've been hurt so many times.
- 23:40Speaker 2: But I can immediately name like three games off off
- 23:44Speaker 2: of the top of my head that did that to me.
- 23:46Speaker 2: And it was when the Rockets lost in twenty eighteen,
- 23:49Speaker 2: and Game seven, when the Astros lost Game seven twenty nineteen,
- 23:52Speaker 2: and then a year ago, not even a year ago,
- 23:55Speaker 2: when Houston lost to Florida in the title game of
- 23:58Speaker 2: March Madness.
- 23:59Speaker 5: Yeah, so eighteen twenty nineteen, that was pretty rough.
- 24:02Speaker 2: That was pretty rough.
- 24:03Speaker 5: But that that National Series still, man, Like, the funniest
- 24:09Speaker 5: part about it is Will Harris gave up that homer
- 24:12Speaker 5: and the next year the National signed him.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I know, I know, man, I know. Anyways, you're gonna
- 24:19Speaker 2: digress off of that because I don't want to be
- 24:21Speaker 2: reliving those horrible memories. We got we got more to
- 24:24Speaker 2: get to you here, just a little bit. We're gonna
- 24:25Speaker 2: hit on the NFL playoffs and then police reports. We

- 28:07Speaker 2: are heat in the heat of the playoffs here divisional
- 28:10Speaker 2: round before we actually talk about the games. I actually
- 28:12Speaker 2: wanted to hit on this thing that I read that
- 28:15Speaker 2: the Buffalo Bills are doing. And this is kind of entertaining.
- 28:20Speaker 2: So if you're a fan of the Buffalo Bills, which
- 28:23Speaker 2: I don't know, maybe there's one or two that live
- 28:24Speaker 2: down here, you can Actually.
- 28:26Speaker 5: I'm a fan of the Bills. Once the Broncos are eliminated.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Dude, we'll get to that.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Trust if they beat us.
- 28:33Speaker 2: We will get to that in just a little bit.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Right now, Buffalo Bills fans can purchase the urinal troughs
- 28:38Speaker 2: from high Mark Stadium men's restrooms before the facility gets demolished.
- 28:43Speaker 5: See that's the kind of stuff that makes me enjoy
- 28:47Speaker 5: the Bills. The Bills are one of the best organizations
- 28:50Speaker 5: in NFL in my opinion.
- 28:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so there's definitely some troughs. Some I'm stumbling over
- 28:57Speaker 2: what this sentence is. He said, there's definitely the truck
- 29:00Speaker 2: in the bathroom, and that is a collectible Exchange founder
- 29:02Speaker 2: Brandon Steiner, who told that to the Buffalo Toronto Public Media.
- 29:07Speaker 2: So I guess they are salvaging items from the stadium
- 29:11Speaker 2: before because they're getting a new one, right yep, so
- 29:14Speaker 2: and then already built. Yeah, the county will receive fifty
- 29:17Speaker 2: percent of sales pro seeds. Available items include single stadium
- 29:21Speaker 2: seats for five hundred and fifty dollars, pair seats for
- 29:24Speaker 2: six hundred and fifty, double bleacher seats for five hundred
- 29:27Speaker 2: fifty dollars, seat backs for one hundred dollars, and turf
- 29:30Speaker 2: pieces for one hundred dollars. Each purchase includes authentication certificates
- 29:34Speaker 2: and numbered holograms.
- 29:36Speaker 5: See that's pretty cool.
- 29:37Speaker 2: That is pretty cool. But darn those urinal trucks.
- 29:39Speaker 5: That's so funny. That's actually I want that to be
- 29:42Speaker 5: in somebody's office, like with like a plaque on it.
- 29:45Speaker 2: Some die hard Bills fan. Absolutely, some die hard Bills fan.
- 29:49Speaker 5: There's no way a lot of smell.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah, no, so you need to like have it in
- 29:53Speaker 2: a case or something. Yeah, it's contained in there forever.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Yeah, good luck with that.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Yeah, seriously, let's see what do we want to getting
- 30:00Speaker 2: to next harbor out of the giants.
- 30:03Speaker 5: That you know? Has that been confirmed yet?
- 30:07Speaker 4: Like?
- 30:07Speaker 2: Is that that's yes?
- 30:09Speaker 5: Because I heard people talking this morning about maybe it
- 30:13Speaker 5: hasn't been confirmed because who was it with team there
- 30:16Speaker 5: was a team hold on which one of these teams
- 30:20Speaker 5: is still I don't think one of the teams that
- 30:25Speaker 5: was still in the playoffs. They were a speculation that
- 30:28Speaker 5: they were going to go after harball Off they lost,
- 30:30Speaker 5: and that's why he hadn't confirmed the deal. But it
- 30:32Speaker 5: sounds like from what.
- 30:33Speaker 2: I've read, it is all but confirmed.
- 30:35Speaker 5: Yeah. No, that's a great move for the Giants. I
- 30:39Speaker 5: really think they have a decent core for him to
- 30:41Speaker 5: build around.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Absolutely. I mean, Jackson, Dartnes, Sawid camp Scattaboo. I love
- 30:46Speaker 2: that guy. I mean, I I do worry about his
- 30:48Speaker 2: long term health because that.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Yeah, he's probably years.
- 30:51Speaker 2: That dude runs like the kool Aid Man through a
- 30:53Speaker 2: brick wall. Yeah, But as it stands right now, I'm
- 30:57Speaker 2: totally in agreement with you that he's got a great
- 30:59Speaker 2: core to builder. I mean, he's a coach with a
- 31:01Speaker 2: proven track record. I thought the Ravens were crazy for
- 31:04Speaker 2: moving on from him.
- 31:05Speaker 5: I mean, I don't know, I see why they did it.
- 31:08Speaker 5: I don't think I would have done that. I would
- 31:11Speaker 5: not have done it, but I get why. Like, I mean,
- 31:14Speaker 5: if you think you've hit your ceiling. He won you
- 31:16Speaker 5: a super Bowl twenty thirteen, twenty twelve, won a super Bowl.
- 31:23Speaker 5: But he's had Lamar for like five years now and
- 31:25Speaker 5: hasn't been able to even get to the super Bowl.
- 31:28Speaker 5: So I kind of get it. I just don't think
- 31:30Speaker 5: you're gonna get anybody better.
- 31:32Speaker 2: He's had Mahomes in his way, So I mean, congratulations,
- 31:34Speaker 2: he joins the rest of the AFC.
- 31:35Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah, Well, and in the year that the Chiefs
- 31:39Speaker 5: don't make the playoffs, do the Ravens. Yeah, But I
- 31:43Speaker 5: understand the logic behind it. I just don't think there's
- 31:46Speaker 5: somebody markedly better out there.
- 31:49Speaker 2: I don't think so either, because I mean I don't
- 31:51Speaker 2: know what Tomlin where he's going to end up. Maybe
- 31:53Speaker 2: the Ravens, that's I mean, like, wouldn't that be funny,
- 31:55Speaker 2: That would be really really wowed up there. But I
- 31:59Speaker 2: agree with you, I don't see who's better on the
- 32:01Speaker 2: market right now for them. I don't think that was
- 32:02Speaker 2: the right move. I would not have done it.
- 32:04Speaker 5: So the best part about it was after after they
- 32:08Speaker 5: fired him, like the next day, you know, his agent
- 32:11Speaker 5: said that he had gotten calls from seven NFL teams.
- 32:15Speaker 5: There were only seven openings, including the Ravens. Yes, so
- 32:19Speaker 5: they all could they call him back? That's why I
- 32:21Speaker 5: would to know. Like an hour later they were like,
- 32:24Speaker 5: never mind, you want to come back, and He's like, no,
- 32:26Speaker 5: I'm good.
- 32:28Speaker 2: I would not blame them if they had a little
- 32:30Speaker 2: bit of regret immediately following that. So into the actual
- 32:34Speaker 2: games this weekend. Now, you were not here last Friday,
- 32:38Speaker 2: but we made brackets for the playoffs to like actually
- 32:41Speaker 2: run through. I will pat myself on the back and
- 32:44Speaker 2: that I predicted every AFC matchup correctly, all three of them.
- 32:49Speaker 2: All three of them. I got right on the AFC side.
- 32:51Speaker 2: Now the NFC side was not as pretty. I only
- 32:53Speaker 2: got one right. So I'll recap you what I did there.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I picked the Packers over the Bear, which, you know what,
- 33:00Speaker 2: for a while looked like no, yeah, for a while,
- 33:03Speaker 2: that was a crazy comeback three quarters. I was like, oh, heck, yeah,
- 33:06Speaker 2: I'm gonna get that one right. And then credit to
- 33:08Speaker 2: the Bears for manufacturing that comeback. That was a fantastic game.
- 33:12Speaker 2: The entire first round of the playoff featured some great games.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I picked the Eagles over the forty nine Ers, which
- 33:18Speaker 2: wasn't a crazy pick. But the forty nine ers just
- 33:20Speaker 2: they had some magic because they lost Kittle in that game.
- 33:22Speaker 2: They're super super banged up right now.
- 33:25Speaker 5: A touchdown?
- 33:26Speaker 2: Yeah, So I mean props to the forty nine ers
- 33:29Speaker 2: forgetting by the Eagles. I did not see that one coming.
- 33:31Speaker 2: And of course the Rams over the Panthers I picked,
- 33:34Speaker 2: but I did not see it being as close as
- 33:35Speaker 2: it was. That was a very entertaining game as well.
- 33:39Speaker 2: So I picked a couple wrong on the NFC side,
- 33:41Speaker 2: but I don't feel bad about any of them.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Sure, yeah, Panthers Rams, that's a great I'm picking Panthers
- 33:47Speaker 5: is crazy. First of all, No, I didn't.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I didn't pick them. That was that was your right now, No, no, no, no,
- 33:51Speaker 2: I picked the Panthers. I did not pick the Panthers.
- 33:53Speaker 5: That was the one you got, right that?
- 33:55Speaker 2: I got that one, right, got you?
- 33:57Speaker 5: Yeah? That that game? That was All these games were crazy.
- 34:02Speaker 5: I think I don't think there was a single bad game.
- 34:06Speaker 5: I think Patriots Chargers wasn't. I mean, that wasn't a
- 34:08Speaker 5: good game, but you know, it's only decided by thirteen points,
- 34:12Speaker 5: so you can't call it a bad game necessarily. Yeah,
- 34:15Speaker 5: and then Texans Steelers was close until the Texans just
- 34:19Speaker 5: decided that they didn't want to play anymore. The defense
- 34:22Speaker 5: decided that they They were like, we're done, you can
- 34:24Speaker 5: just go home. Yeah, so just keep scoring touchdowns until
- 34:27Speaker 5: you leave.
- 34:27Speaker 2: Well, we'll use that to segue into the game this
- 34:30Speaker 2: weekend the Texans and the Patriots, because I will immediately
- 34:36Speaker 2: start off by saying that I in the bracket last week,
- 34:38Speaker 2: picked New England to beat Houston, and I am.
- 34:41Speaker 5: It's a happiness hedge.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I no, I mean you can call it. No. When
- 34:46Speaker 2: I put money down on New England, that'll be a
- 34:47Speaker 2: happiness hedge. But I look, I have so many nightmares
- 34:53Speaker 2: of going into Foxborough as a Texans playoff game and
- 34:56Speaker 2: in the divisional round, and it's just never ended well
- 34:59Speaker 2: yeah there, and I I.
- 35:02Speaker 5: It's never doesn't usually end well for teams that go
- 35:04Speaker 5: into Foxborough in the playoffs.
- 35:05Speaker 2: Patriots don't have twelve anymore, so that's obviously you ten.
- 35:09Speaker 2: They do have ten. Ten is not proven yet to me.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I like, I'm sorry, I I don't have any respect
- 35:15Speaker 2: for that schedule that.
- 35:16Speaker 5: Well, at least ten is not nine, as I was saying.
- 35:21Speaker 2: I look, okay, Drake May has played fantastic football. I
- 35:26Speaker 2: am not denying that one bit. I don't think he
- 35:29Speaker 2: has done it against that stiff of competition, and I
- 35:31Speaker 2: don't think he looked that great against the Chargers, to
- 35:33Speaker 2: be completely.
- 35:33Speaker 5: Honest, Well, he didn't really have to either.
- 35:35Speaker 2: He didn't have to and neither did ce J Stroud.
- 35:37Speaker 2: And I'll get to that in a second as well.
- 35:39Speaker 2: But there's a lot of people online that seem to
- 35:42Speaker 2: think the Patriots have this one in the bag, and.
- 35:44Speaker 5: I know I don't have.
- 35:45Speaker 2: That's a dangerous assertion to make. And yes, Christian Gonzales
- 35:48Speaker 2: will be back for the Patriots. He was confirmed today
- 35:50Speaker 2: that he got out of the concussion protocol, so he's
- 35:52Speaker 2: gonna play. Nico Collins is ruled out so he will.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Not play, and that is a that's.
- 35:58Speaker 2: In this game. But we saw Christian Kirk step up,
- 36:01Speaker 2: and I don't expect that he's going to replicate that
- 36:04Speaker 2: kind of production. I mean, that was a mean, absolute
- 36:07Speaker 2: outlier of a game as good as it was.
- 36:08Speaker 5: Who's the go to guy then, I.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Mean, Higgins Kurk. I don't know that there is a
- 36:14Speaker 2: go to guy. I think this very much needs to
- 36:16Speaker 2: be a spread the ball around type of day if
- 36:20Speaker 2: the Texans are going to pull this off. The defense
- 36:23Speaker 2: played out of their minds against Pittsburgh, which we expected
- 36:26Speaker 2: to happen.
- 36:26Speaker 8: C J.
- 36:27Speaker 2: Stroud was awful and I don't think he will repeat
- 36:31Speaker 2: that performance either. But five fumbles and he only lost
- 36:35Speaker 2: two of them, but still, and he threw an interception
- 36:37Speaker 2: as well. I don't know if the the moment was
- 36:40Speaker 2: too big for him, or if he was just having
- 36:42Speaker 2: an off day or wherever.
- 36:44Speaker 5: Whatever. Some of those fumbles were bad snaps.
- 36:46Speaker 2: Some of the fumbles were bad snaps. But he also
- 36:48Speaker 2: wasn't ready because I mean the snap came to him
- 36:50Speaker 2: and he was like not even looking at the center.
- 36:52Speaker 2: So and maybe that's not on him either, but they were.
- 36:56Speaker 2: They were on the road, and this is going to
- 36:57Speaker 2: be on the road too. I do expect that they
- 37:00Speaker 2: will get those issues ironed out this week in practice.
- 37:04Speaker 2: That's not gonna happen again. He's not gonna play that poorly.
- 37:08Speaker 2: But I do still worry about this offense as I
- 37:10Speaker 2: have worried about it for the entire season, because they
- 37:12Speaker 2: have not really shown me anything to believe in yet,
- 37:16Speaker 2: especially down Nico Collins. The offensive line has gotten a
- 37:19Speaker 2: lot better from the start of the season. That is
- 37:21Speaker 2: a credit that I will give the Texans. They finally
- 37:24Speaker 2: found a good combination of guys and it's been working
- 37:26Speaker 2: for him. They've protected CJ. Stroud well and he typically
- 37:31Speaker 2: doesn't turn the ball over when that's the case. So
- 37:33Speaker 2: I really do think that last week was an outlier
- 37:34Speaker 2: for him as well. So defense travels. They don't say
- 37:38Speaker 2: offense wins championships. They say defense do so.
- 37:41Speaker 5: I yeah, it's definitely strength versus strength.
- 37:44Speaker 2: I think this is the best chance the Texans have
- 37:47Speaker 2: ever had of winning a divisional round game in their
- 37:50Speaker 2: entire history, because they're owing six in the divisional round
- 37:52Speaker 2: right now. They've never made it to a conference championship game.
- 37:55Speaker 2: This is the glass ceiling that they have hit every
- 37:57Speaker 2: single time they have gone to the playoffs.
- 37:59Speaker 5: So it's really unfortunate that they don't have their receivers.
- 38:03Speaker 2: It's it's unfortunate. I also saw that weather could become
- 38:06Speaker 2: an issue too. I think I saw, especially later in
- 38:08Speaker 2: the game, snow is a possibility.
- 38:10Speaker 5: Okay, I was gonna say if it was. Yeah, I
- 38:12Speaker 5: didn't think about snow. I forgot that it's in New England.
- 38:14Speaker 5: I was gonna say if it's rainy, then the Texans
- 38:16Speaker 5: have a really good chance. I would say not.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Rainy, but snowy is a possibility, and I don't think
- 38:21Speaker 2: that's set in stone there. There's some I'm not gonna
- 38:23Speaker 2: go into whole meteorology stuff, but there's some weather system
- 38:25Speaker 2: they're watching. They don't know if it's going to track
- 38:27Speaker 2: that close or not, but it is a possibility. It's
- 38:29Speaker 2: going to be cold up there, but defense travels well,
- 38:32Speaker 2: and I think cold weather hurts the offense more than
- 38:34Speaker 2: it hurts the defense.
- 38:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:36Speaker 2: Sure, so I feel cautiously, cautiously optimistic about their it'll
- 38:45Speaker 2: be a good game. I picked New England and you
- 38:49Speaker 2: know what, You're right, that's a bit of a happiness
- 38:50Speaker 2: hedge there. I don't know, man, I just can't. I
- 38:53Speaker 2: can't bring myself to it. I don't want to get
- 38:55Speaker 2: my hopes up that high.
- 38:56Speaker 5: Texans have won ten games in a row.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I don't want to get my hopes up that high
- 39:00Speaker 2: and then have them dashed in this game. Yeah, but
- 39:03Speaker 2: you know what, maybe maybe they'll pull it off. For
- 39:06Speaker 2: once they got to eventually, you would think it's.
- 39:10Speaker 5: Gonna be Yeah, it's gonna be a lot of fun.
- 39:11Speaker 5: That's for sure. Anyway, the two o'clock game one Sunday.
- 39:14Speaker 2: That is the two o'clock game, and I think Buffalo plays.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Buffalo plays on Saturday.
- 39:18Speaker 5: Right, Yeah, uh, Bill's Broncos is at three point thirty,
- 39:22Speaker 5: So we will in Denver.
- 39:23Speaker 2: We will know before this game if a win means
- 39:27Speaker 2: a home game or going to Denver. Which is good
- 39:30Speaker 2: because I do hope the Bills went on Saturday, because
- 39:32Speaker 2: knowing that Texans could play a potential home game for
- 39:35Speaker 2: the conference championship, I would hope would motivate those guys
- 39:37Speaker 2: a little bit more.
- 39:38Speaker 5: Now, Broncos going all the way.
- 39:40Speaker 2: You a Broncos fan.
- 39:41Speaker 5: I'm a Broncos fan.
- 39:42Speaker 2: Oh man.
- 39:43Speaker 5: This is the first playoff game in Denver since Peyton
- 39:46Speaker 5: Manning beat Tom Brady in twenty sixteen.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember that. We're reliving twenty sixteen in all
- 39:50Speaker 2: types of ways.
- 39:51Speaker 5: Yes we are we, Yes we are, including the Broncos
- 39:54Speaker 5: winning a Super Bowl.
- 39:55Speaker 2: No, that will not be happening.
- 39:56Speaker 5: Yes it will, No, it will not. Whatever you say, Yeah, okay, sure, show.
- 40:01Speaker 2: We're gonna go in to break. We got the police
- 40:04Speaker 2: report segment coming up here in just a couple of minutes.
- 40:06Speaker 2: Shulty Roofing and then Decker Financial. We'll hear from both
- 40:10Speaker 2: of them and then we'll come back on the other
- 40:11Speaker 2: side of that.
- 40:13Speaker 16: It was after a hailstorm a few years back. I
- 40:15Speaker 16: needed a new roof. Yeah, I shopped around and then
- 40:17Speaker 16: I found Shorlty Roofing, and boy, I'm glad I did.
- 40:20Speaker 16: The folks at Shorlty guided me every step of the way.
- 40:23Speaker 16: They showed me my options, They told me what my
- 40:25Speaker 16: out of pocket cost would be after insurance. They took
- 40:28Speaker 16: the complication out of an otherwise very stressful situation. They
- 40:31Speaker 16: took off the damage roof, put on the new roof,
- 40:34Speaker 16: did all the clean up, and I had my new
- 40:35Speaker 16: roof in one day.
- 40:39Speaker 5: The home by the Volley roof.
- 40:44Speaker 17: If you're retired or even thinking about retiring, you want
- 40:47Speaker 17: someone to work as hard for your money as you have.
- 40:50Speaker 17: I'm David Decker Raymond James financial advisor, specializing in doing
- 40:53Speaker 17: what's right for you in your retirement years and in
- 40:57Speaker 17: educating you about your investments. If you like fresh, objective,
- 41:01Speaker 17: thoughtful second opinion, contact David Decker at six nine three
- 41:05Speaker 17: seventy six hundred, located in College Station, Raymond James Financial
- 41:08Speaker 17: Services Incorporator Member FINRA SIPC Life, weile planned, We're going.
- 41:15Speaker 5: Are you ready?
- 41:15Speaker 14: This is only eleven fifty am and ninety three point
- 41:18Speaker 14: seven FM, where we respect all and fear none God.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Fifty am nineteen three point seven FM. It is Ryan
- 41:33Speaker 2: and Caleb filling in this week for Chip Will is
- 41:37Speaker 2: out this week. But that does not mean we're not
- 41:39Speaker 2: going to do the police reports, which I have a
- 41:41Speaker 2: whole stack of papers in front of me that I
- 41:43Speaker 2: am trying to sift and sort through so I can
- 41:46Speaker 2: also hand some of them to Kleb to read, which yeah,
- 41:49Speaker 2: I should have done like an hour ago, but.
- 41:51Speaker 5: I have we like to fight life to protestinate, so man,
- 41:55Speaker 5: I don't know anybody else like that.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Yeah, So we're gonna with one that actually has some audio,
- 42:01Speaker 2: which I just had in front of me and then
- 42:02Speaker 2: I buried it underneath the rest of my papers. So
- 42:04Speaker 2: here we go. We're gonna go to Florida for this one,
- 42:07Speaker 2: because this is kind of a really funny story. We
- 42:09Speaker 2: have a Florida deputy that has gone viral for handcuffing
- 42:13Speaker 2: a runaway EMU on the highway. So a Saint John's
- 42:18Speaker 2: County deputy gained internet fame after bodycam footage showed him
- 42:22Speaker 2: chasing and quote unquote arresting and escaped EMU on County
- 42:26Speaker 2: Road thirteen, which is twenty miles west of Saint Augustine.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Corporal Kysler responded Friday to reports of the large bird
- 42:34Speaker 2: running loose on the roadway. We actually have audio from
- 42:38Speaker 2: the body cam that we can listen to.
- 42:39Speaker 18: Now I'm in pursuit of come here, come on this way,
- 42:45Speaker 18: some big old talents. I'll be honest with you. I've
- 42:47Speaker 18: never handcuffed EMU before.
- 42:50Speaker 11: Look who's got you now?
- 42:51Speaker 7: Oh?
- 42:53Speaker 18: Yeah, yeah, Now yet, are you done resisting? I don't
- 42:57Speaker 18: want to have to charge you. Hey, don't bite me.
- 43:00Speaker 18: Hang then aren't you secured a full set of cuffs
- 43:03Speaker 18: on this?
- 43:06Speaker 2: That's very Florida.
- 43:07Speaker 5: That sounded like a progressive ad, not at liberty.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Mutually we were, oh, yeah, it does a little bit done,
- 43:13Speaker 2: and I'm sure there's some tie and you could make.
- 43:15Speaker 2: But yeah, so he got uh and the officer called
- 43:20Speaker 2: it definitely a new one quote unquote yeah, imagine. So
- 43:24Speaker 2: the EMU was safely returned to its owner, and the
- 43:27Speaker 2: Sheriff's office confirmed that all criminal charges were dropped.
- 43:31Speaker 5: So well, there you go.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Good for them, Caleb, what do you got for us?
- 43:36Speaker 5: Well, here we have a classic case of claiming you
- 43:39Speaker 5: were doing something slightly worse than what you were actually doing.
- 43:42Speaker 5: A driver was arrested while smoking from a glass pipe
- 43:48Speaker 5: a certain substance and claiming that it was marijuana. Fifty
- 43:52Speaker 5: six year old man in British Columbia arrested around ten
- 43:56Speaker 5: thirty am. This guy was getting started early.
- 43:58Speaker 10: Uh.
- 43:59Speaker 5: He told officers he was only smoking marijuana. They found
- 44:02Speaker 5: no cannabis in a vehicle search, but discovered a but
- 44:05Speaker 5: tane lighter and a glass pipe typically used for crack cocaine.
- 44:08Speaker 5: He admitted to smoking crack earlier that day and then
- 44:11Speaker 5: failled a standardized field sobriety test. The vehicle was impounded
- 44:15Speaker 5: and the driver received a twenty four hour suspension and
- 44:18Speaker 5: ticket for failing to produce a license. Criminal charges are
- 44:21Speaker 5: pending LIBE results and investigation.
- 44:25Speaker 2: You really can't fix stupid, can you?
- 44:27Speaker 6: No?
- 44:28Speaker 5: You cannot?
- 44:28Speaker 2: Oh man? What did it say? What state was that
- 44:31Speaker 2: out of? Did it say?
- 44:32Speaker 6: In there?
- 44:32Speaker 5: British Columbia, So Canada?
- 44:34Speaker 2: So north?
- 44:35Speaker 5: I think that might be first time I've read a
- 44:37Speaker 5: Canada one on this show.
- 44:38Speaker 2: Well, I think there's another one in there too that
- 44:40Speaker 2: I just handed you. Here's back south of the border.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Though this is Wisconsin, we're a and the headline on
- 44:47Speaker 2: this is a bit misleading. The headline is a drunk driver.
- 44:49Speaker 2: It was twenty one times the legal limit. But there's
- 44:52Speaker 2: a bit of a catch to that, so before you
- 44:54Speaker 2: go like super crazy there, the man I think was
- 44:58Speaker 2: on probation or whatever for a pre so his quote
- 45:01Speaker 2: unquote legal limit was point oh two, so that's a
- 45:05Speaker 2: fourth of the point eight, So he was twenty one
- 45:07Speaker 2: times that, but he was still five times the actual limit.
- 45:10Speaker 2: His blood alcohol was point four to two seven, which
- 45:15Speaker 2: I mean, how are you even walking at that point?
- 45:18Speaker 2: That reminds me of the water jug of whiskey that
- 45:21Speaker 2: blew up on the A and M police page during
- 45:23Speaker 2: one of the football games this past season with the
- 45:25Speaker 2: Piminoche sandwich. She'll forget, yes, exactly, the sandwich big part
- 45:28Speaker 2: of that. So he got pulled over Monday night about
- 45:30Speaker 2: fifty miles west of Green Bay, and a breath of
- 45:32Speaker 2: lizer clocked him again at point four to two seven man,
- 45:36Speaker 2: which is just absolutely insane. The police say he was
- 45:39Speaker 2: all over the road he kept speeding up and slowing
- 45:41Speaker 2: down and almost slammed into a guard rail before they
- 45:44Speaker 2: stopped him. He was so drunk they took him to
- 45:47Speaker 2: a hospital first and then to jail. So he's facing
- 45:50Speaker 2: charges for drunk driving and driving without a court mandated
- 45:53Speaker 2: interlock device.
- 45:56Speaker 5: This next one is easily the most wholesome thing I've
- 45:58Speaker 5: ever read. During the police Ports segment, a child mistakenly
- 46:02Speaker 5: called nine one one on December twenty first in new Haven, Connecticut.
- 46:07Speaker 5: Young girl named Lily then sent a handwritten apology note
- 46:11Speaker 5: to the New Haven Police Department. Written with a magenta marker.
- 46:15Speaker 5: She explained, sorry for calling nine one one. I thought
- 46:18Speaker 5: it was a playphone. I won't do it again. The
- 46:20Speaker 5: Connecticut Police Department shared her letter on Facebook and responded
- 46:23Speaker 5: to the child, Lily, we got to your leather, your letter,
- 46:27Speaker 5: not leather. It's okay. Things happen, so good job for
- 46:33Speaker 5: for apologizing.
- 46:34Speaker 2: You know what. She was raised right by her. Yes,
- 46:36Speaker 2: I think that's absolutely I like that story a lot.
- 46:39Speaker 2: All right, let's see what we got here.
- 46:40Speaker 5: Most of the time these are way dumber than they
- 46:42Speaker 5: are wholesome.
- 46:43Speaker 2: Oh, trust me, we have plenty of those today too.
- 46:45Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, we are going back to Florida,
- 46:47Speaker 2: so buckle up for this. One Tuesday, police in Florida
- 46:52Speaker 2: responded to a place called the Palms of Emerald Coast
- 46:56Speaker 2: Massage Parlor to investigate an alleged attack. Someone from the
- 47:01Speaker 2: Department of Health reported that they were yelled at and
- 47:04Speaker 2: physically shoved out of the business by a massage parlor employee.
- 47:09Speaker 2: The police showed up and when they tried to put
- 47:11Speaker 2: the woman in handcuffs, she began quote, defecating towards the
- 47:16Speaker 2: officers an attempt to avoid.
- 47:18Speaker 5: Being arrested the officers.
- 47:20Speaker 2: Yes, it did not work. She was arrested for battery.
- 47:25Speaker 2: And by the way, it should be noted that the
- 47:26Speaker 2: Palms of Emerald Coast was previously called Classy Spa. There's
- 47:31Speaker 2: no more why the name changed, but clearly, yeah, it
- 47:35Speaker 2: doesn't fit anymore, Like that does not fit anymore. So
- 47:38Speaker 2: that's battery is trying to offer, I would imagine.
- 47:42Speaker 5: So that's really that's that's pretty funny. Back to Canada,
- 47:46Speaker 5: seventy two year old ice fishermen in Canada is facing
- 47:51Speaker 5: assault charges after allegedly attacking someone for fishing too close
- 47:55Speaker 5: to him.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Canadian's supposed to be nice.
- 47:58Speaker 5: That's the next line is Canadians are no for their politeness,
- 48:01Speaker 5: but not this time. In rural Canada. The man is
- 48:04Speaker 5: facing charges after attacking someone on a frozen lake. They
- 48:09Speaker 5: were both ice fishing on a lake halfway between Toronto
- 48:12Speaker 5: and Ottawa. Michael Armstrong told cops that he attacked the
- 48:17Speaker 5: other ice fishermen because they were fishing too close to him.
- 48:19Speaker 5: It's not clear if he thought it would affect how
- 48:21Speaker 5: many fish he caught or if he just likes the space.
- 48:23Speaker 5: He will be in court next month to answer to
- 48:27Speaker 5: answer assault charges.
- 48:28Speaker 2: See, I don't know what the lakes are like. I
- 48:32Speaker 2: know it's cold up there, but I would be terrified
- 48:34Speaker 2: of starting to fight on a frozen lake. No, they're
- 48:37Speaker 2: pretty I think that because it would like.
- 48:40Speaker 5: No, I don't think that's an issue.
- 48:41Speaker 2: I mean, I know they're ice fishing, so it's got
- 48:43Speaker 2: to be able to support someone.
- 48:44Speaker 5: I don't think that's an issue.
- 48:46Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Canada, so it's cold up there.
- 48:47Speaker 5: But yeah, and they know what they're doing. Seventy two
- 48:50Speaker 5: year old man definitely knows his way around the present.
- 48:52Speaker 2: That's the separator here, because I am a sub thirty
- 48:56Speaker 2: year old from the South that has no idea what
- 48:59Speaker 2: to do on a frozen lakes.
- 49:01Speaker 5: Yeah. No, the Eskimos actually can like tell. They would
- 49:08Speaker 5: communicate with like the taps of a stick on ice.
- 49:12Speaker 5: I learned about this in my anthropology class last semester.
- 49:15Speaker 5: I did learn something in college. Thanks mom.
- 49:17Speaker 2: Yeah, all right. Here we're going to California, where we
- 49:21Speaker 2: have a Glendale police that arrested two women on Friday
- 49:24Speaker 2: following a month's long investigation into counterfeit currency being used
- 49:30Speaker 2: at in and out burger locations across California. A twenty four,
- 49:34Speaker 2: twenty six year old allegedly used fake one hundred dollars
- 49:37Speaker 2: bills to purchase small orders at nearly a dozen restaurants
- 49:41Speaker 2: in Los Angeles and Orange Counties. This scheme began in October,
- 49:45Speaker 2: when a Glendale in and out reported suspicious activity that
- 49:48Speaker 2: detectives linked to similar incidents at other locations. Police receipts
- 49:53Speaker 2: from September twenty ninth show orders for five dollars and
- 49:56Speaker 2: fifty cents for a burger and two dollars and thirty
- 49:59Speaker 2: five sens for French fries, both paid with one hundred
- 50:02Speaker 2: dollars bills. Lewis was arrested October thirtieth with counterfeit bills
- 50:07Speaker 2: matching those used in the crimes, plus gift cards and
- 50:10Speaker 2: receipts potentially tied to other fraudulent activity. Wow, so I
- 50:15Speaker 2: mean that's worth it though, target you target, Okay, but
- 50:18Speaker 2: I don't think that they were doing this for the
- 50:20Speaker 2: in and out Like, you don't give somebody one hundred
- 50:23Speaker 2: dollars bill for something that cheap unless you're trying to
- 50:25Speaker 2: get a lot of real money back in exchange.
- 50:28Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 50:32Speaker 2: Going to jail, what are you in for? I got
- 50:33Speaker 2: caught at in and out Burger using fake cash.
- 50:37Speaker 5: Staying on the theme of money, a bank robber uses
- 50:41Speaker 5: stolen cash to tip a restaurant server. Oh More, cast
- 50:44Speaker 5: utile man faces federal charges after robbing a Wells Fargo
- 50:49Speaker 5: on Monday. He entered the bank around one pm, handing
- 50:52Speaker 5: a teller a note reading I got a weapon. I
- 50:55Speaker 5: need one thousand dollars. He displayed what appeared to be
- 50:58Speaker 5: a knife handle under the under his jacket, though the
- 51:01Speaker 5: teller believed it was a gun. After receiving only one
- 51:04Speaker 5: hundred and forty dollars of that one thousand that he said,
- 51:07Speaker 5: he needed, Robinson walked to a nearby Mexican restaurant, where
- 51:10Speaker 5: he ordered a meal for nineteen dollars and fifty three cents.
- 51:13Speaker 5: He left the remainder of the money as a tip
- 51:16Speaker 5: to the waiter that served him. He was arrested shortly
- 51:19Speaker 5: after identifying him by his distinctive face, neck, and head tattoos.
- 51:24Speaker 2: So did he think one good deed was going to
- 51:26Speaker 2: cancel out the other one or something?
- 51:27Speaker 5: But like then, I don't understand that one.
- 51:31Speaker 2: And where was this again?
- 51:33Speaker 5: This was in Utah, Utah.
- 51:35Speaker 2: Okay, that's worse. I heard Louis do a story in
- 51:38Speaker 2: Utah a couple months ago, so this does not surprise
- 51:41Speaker 2: me at all. Actually, all right, let's see what I
- 51:43Speaker 2: got here. Headline A guy plugged his ears with his
- 51:47Speaker 2: fingers and gave a judge the silent treatment. This is
- 51:51Speaker 2: out of Michigan Petty, where he is facing charges after
- 51:55Speaker 2: he allegedly fired a gun outside of a middle school
- 51:58Speaker 2: when they wouldn't let him pick up his son. Now,
- 52:01Speaker 2: footage from his arraignment is going viral. Forty four year
- 52:04Speaker 2: old Schwantz Gregory was standing a foot from the school
- 52:08Speaker 2: when he fired multiple shots. They say he didn't shoot
- 52:11Speaker 2: at the building, but the whole school went into a lockdown.
- 52:15Speaker 2: His arraignment on Zoom last Thursday was nuts because he
- 52:18Speaker 2: refused to answer the judge's questions and wouldn't even state
- 52:21Speaker 2: his name. He claimed that they were wasting his time
- 52:25Speaker 2: and plugged his ears with his fingers. At one point,
- 52:29Speaker 2: the judge noted he's had issues in the past and
- 52:31Speaker 2: that he's quote kidnapped his son from school before. Wow,
- 52:35Speaker 2: so it sounds like he isn't allowed to pick him up.
- 52:38Speaker 2: The shooting happened at nine fifty in the morning. He's
- 52:40Speaker 2: facing terrorism charges plus more charges for carrying a concealed weapon,
- 52:45Speaker 2: having a weapon in a school zone, and reckless use
- 52:48Speaker 2: of a firearm. He's due back in court next Tuesday,
- 52:51Speaker 2: and then that's a lot so At the end of
- 52:53Speaker 2: the hearing, he also called the judge racist and told
- 52:56Speaker 2: her to get a real job.
- 52:58Speaker 5: Interesting, Yeah, real job, you know, because I have a
- 53:01Speaker 5: real job and go around recklessly using firearms.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Yeah? What what else?
- 53:07Speaker 5: We're going back to Florida, all right? Twenty three year
- 53:09Speaker 5: old Florida man accepted a plea deal. This is actually
- 53:13Speaker 5: post court first. We usually have a pending court charges here,
- 53:18Speaker 5: but we have a Florida man that accepted a plea
- 53:20Speaker 5: deal after he hid a GPS tracking device on his
- 53:25Speaker 5: ex's car. They had no not at all. He will
- 53:30Speaker 5: be paying approximately seven hundred dollars in fines and court costs.
- 53:33Speaker 5: The victim had a brief relationship with the Florida man
- 53:38Speaker 5: several years ago, which ended with no further substantial contact.
- 53:43Speaker 5: The man bought a Cube brand tracker from best Buy
- 53:47Speaker 5: and placed it on the woman's car. When confronted by investigators,
- 53:50Speaker 5: he confessed, saying he installed the tracker in attempts to
- 53:55Speaker 5: run into the victim. She discovered the advice the device
- 53:58Speaker 5: and contacted the police.
- 54:00Speaker 2: So he was gonna like find her car and just like, hey,
- 54:04Speaker 2: I just ran in.
- 54:05Speaker 5: Do you no liket like like trying to get back
- 54:08Speaker 5: in the contact with her.
- 54:09Speaker 2: I guess, oh man, some people are like really it's kind.
- 54:13Speaker 5: Of squeery and stockery at the same time.
- 54:15Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 54:16Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll do one more story and then we'll get
- 54:18Speaker 2: out here. And of course we're going to finish in Florida,
- 54:20Speaker 2: because how fitting right. This one involves a Stanley cup
- 54:26Speaker 2: that got stolen, specifically, a twenty nine year old woman
- 54:29Speaker 2: in Florida named Arianna Moss was arrested on a misdemeanor
- 54:32Speaker 2: charge after she allegedly stole a coworker's forty outs light
- 54:36Speaker 2: blue Stanley cup. It was a sixty dollars cup, but
- 54:40Speaker 2: it was used, not new. She was caught on camera
- 54:43Speaker 2: eyeing the cup, hiding it in her lunch box, and
- 54:45Speaker 2: leaving with it. It wasn't an accident. She knew it
- 54:48Speaker 2: belonged to her coworker and even talked about it before.
- 54:53Speaker 2: A coworker said Ariana once pointed to the cup and said,
- 54:58Speaker 2: I don't even know if I want to read this sentence.
- 55:00Speaker 5: Maybe not on air. People go crazy for those Stanley cups.
- 55:03Speaker 2: She said, this cup would be great to hold, what
- 55:08Speaker 2: babies drink?
- 55:09Speaker 5: So nice?
- 55:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so Arneatta said, since quit her job as a supervisor,
- 55:16Speaker 2: and it's unclear if the Stanley cup was returned, I
- 55:18Speaker 2: would not want it back. Yeah, yeah, think of good
- 55:20Speaker 2: or the case if the coworkers even willing to drink
- 55:23Speaker 2: from it again. So yeah, all kinds of stuff going.
- 55:27Speaker 5: People go crazy for those Stanley cups. Yeah, I thought
- 55:30Speaker 5: that trend would have gone I thought that trend would
- 55:33Speaker 5: have gone away by now.
- 55:34Speaker 2: But they're still crazy about him. Anyways, here we are
- 55:37Speaker 2: five fifty five, so it is just about time to
- 55:40Speaker 2: close the show. I think we got one more break
- 55:42Speaker 2: to get into. Then we're gonna wrap all this up,
- 55:44Speaker 2: get out of here for the weekend.
