- 0:03Speaker 1: No, it is enough.
- 0:05Speaker 2: I don't have any serious shock and we hold the
- 0:09Speaker 2: world ransom for.
- 0:12Speaker 3: Excuse me while I whipped this out broadcasting live and
- 0:17Speaker 3: it leda to a jouy.
- 0:18Speaker 4: This this is the Sports Shot Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 5: You may began.
- 0:27Speaker 6: Again show, come to.
- 0:32Speaker 7: Come to it just.
- 0:38Speaker 8: I'm a doing bah. I'm gonna go on the way
- 0:41Speaker 8: you made Vegan.
- 0:43Speaker 7: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, I.
- 0:47Speaker 4: Me you're listening to the Sports Shock Show. I am
- 0:49Speaker 4: the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Happy fourth of July. We
- 0:54Speaker 4: are almost their party time on Saturday. With the heat
- 0:59Speaker 4: wave around the country, make sure you stay hydrated and
- 1:03Speaker 4: as I always tell you, keep an eye on each other.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Somebody has to rotate this year and be the person
- 1:11Speaker 4: that does not get drunk. Somebody has to rotate. Somebody
- 1:17Speaker 4: has to rotate and be the person that stays sober.
- 1:21Speaker 4: That includes marijuana. For you people that are out there
- 1:26Speaker 4: that forget that marijuana also distorts decisions and makes you
- 1:33Speaker 4: just as vulnerable to forget things. It's being drunk. So
- 1:39Speaker 4: let's take care of each other, especially around Pool's lakes
- 1:43Speaker 4: and oceans. But we're here to talk about the sports
- 1:50Speaker 4: of the week, the things that have really ignited in
- 1:55Speaker 4: the last couple of days. I mean, we thought that
- 1:58Speaker 4: it was going to be a boring some and it
- 2:01Speaker 4: keeps churning with sports highlights and one thing, you know,
- 2:05Speaker 4: the Taylor Swive Travis Kelsey marriage is to Mark Madison
- 2:08Speaker 4: Square Garden, and I'm so sorry Travis and Taylor. The media.
- 2:18Speaker 4: It's just the media functions like the radio station. Y'all
- 2:24Speaker 4: are just wear something out. You won't even let it
- 2:30Speaker 4: have any You're wearing it out. You're making people fade
- 2:35Speaker 4: because you're so exploiting of it every time, you know
- 2:41Speaker 4: what I mean. You know how when you get out
- 2:44Speaker 4: of the car to go into the place the song
- 2:46Speaker 4: is playing, you come back forty minutes later, the same
- 2:49Speaker 4: song is playing. And I don't care what you tell yourself,
- 2:54Speaker 4: whether it's music, television. You be wanting to break food.
- 3:00Speaker 4: You want something else to hit your palate. It could
- 3:02Speaker 4: be your favorite meal, but after enough of it, you
- 3:06Speaker 4: want something else to cut your palate.
- 3:08Speaker 7: Same thing.
- 3:09Speaker 4: You don't want to absorb horror movies all day. Sometimes
- 3:13Speaker 4: you flipped something else that has nothing to do, so
- 3:16Speaker 4: it's the same. I'm just sorry that y'all are just
- 3:19Speaker 4: scrutinizing following people car. It's amazing what we do here
- 3:24Speaker 4: in the country. But the boys are here. The boys
- 3:27Speaker 4: are back in town, the Mangie, Greg Big Kenny, the
- 3:31Speaker 4: funny man himself, the bad producer. Have any of you
- 3:34Speaker 4: guys been in the Waymo vehicle?
- 3:37Speaker 7: Not yet, but I have.
- 3:39Speaker 9: I see a bunch of them. Yeah, I've seen them.
- 3:42Speaker 9: Get the curtage.
- 3:43Speaker 7: What do you think is the mentality, Kenny? You didn't answer.
- 3:45Speaker 7: I know I have. I've purposely not been in waymost
- 3:48Speaker 7: What is.
- 3:49Speaker 4: The mentality of the person that is so enthralled in
- 3:55Speaker 4: the idea of riding around no one in the car?
- 4:02Speaker 4: Is that?
- 4:02Speaker 7: Is that just it?
- 4:06Speaker 3: I always thought it was a thrill, sikh thing, a mystery.
- 4:12Speaker 3: I'm going to see what this is. You know, these
- 4:15Speaker 3: same people, probably you could you have a tried mushroom. Okay,
- 4:19Speaker 3: you know, I don't know if they do that stuff,
- 4:21Speaker 3: but it has to be some sort of experience that
- 4:26Speaker 3: I want to get on the other side of.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I don't know, Mansion. What has kept you away? Just
- 4:30Speaker 4: no intrigue, no danger zone type mentality.
- 4:35Speaker 9: Even though I I don't like driving all that much,
- 4:40Speaker 9: it's not that I I want you know, if I
- 4:45Speaker 9: if I need a ride, I'm okay with there being
- 4:48Speaker 9: another person. I don't need there to be like nobody
- 4:52Speaker 9: in the car.
- 4:53Speaker 7: When you say not driving, you like to be driven?
- 4:58Speaker 9: If if I if I am being driven?
- 5:02Speaker 7: No, you said you don't like driving. So does that
- 5:04Speaker 7: mean that you like being driven?
- 5:08Speaker 10: Well, I mean I do like to be the passenger
- 5:10Speaker 10: when you go with car service.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I mean either one is fine. Now no, I'm just
- 5:18Speaker 4: going I was just going back to your statement. You
- 5:19Speaker 4: said you don't like driving, So I'm trying to figure
- 5:21Speaker 4: out does that mean you just like being driven?
- 5:27Speaker 9: Well, I don't get driven that much.
- 5:32Speaker 7: And have to do so you you're saying you is
- 5:34Speaker 7: it the thrill of it?
- 5:36Speaker 4: No, I want to You just want to be part
- 5:38Speaker 4: of the conversation like the Popeyes chicken sandwich.
- 5:40Speaker 10: No, not either or the thrill or the sandwich. But
- 5:45Speaker 10: I want to do it, but I just I'm not
- 5:46Speaker 10: gonna do it. But I got to get someone to
- 5:48Speaker 10: ride with me. It's gonna I want to be in
- 5:50Speaker 10: the Obama set.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Then why do you want to do it just to
- 5:54Speaker 4: do it?
- 5:55Speaker 9: Because it's it's.
- 5:57Speaker 4: So when you when you do it, you're not going
- 5:59Speaker 4: to film in you're not to put it on, so
- 6:02Speaker 4: then you want to be part of the conversation. I
- 6:07Speaker 4: offered you that as an option, which is fine. Most
- 6:10Speaker 4: people went to get the chicken sandwich because they want
- 6:12Speaker 4: to be part of the conversation. Half the thing that
- 6:15Speaker 4: people do nowadays have not mean to do with their
- 6:17Speaker 4: interest in it as much as it is the conversation
- 6:21Speaker 4: of it. So there's nothing wrong with either one if
- 6:24Speaker 4: that's what you like.
- 6:25Speaker 3: And with that understanding, maybe I'm projecting this. I was
- 6:28Speaker 3: going to say that I know someone who frequently uses
- 6:33Speaker 3: way More Now I would project that one time if
- 6:37Speaker 3: you want to be a part of the conversation, but
- 6:40Speaker 3: when you'll request a way More to come pick you up,
- 6:44Speaker 3: then that's a different mentality altogether. And I was going
- 6:47Speaker 3: to when we get a chance, I'm going to reach
- 6:50Speaker 3: out to that person and ask them what's.
- 6:52Speaker 10: The mentality behind. And I haven't saw any of them
- 6:55Speaker 10: on like the freeway on the highway. I've only saw
- 6:58Speaker 10: them on the surface street. I don't think the technology there.
- 7:03Speaker 9: Issues on recognizing certain highway like exits or with an
- 7:08Speaker 9: exitus closed.
- 7:09Speaker 10: And then there was a well see that's what that's
- 7:11Speaker 10: what I will well.
- 7:12Speaker 3: And then there was an incident where a way more
- 7:15Speaker 3: was on seventy five eighty five interchange downtown and was
- 7:18Speaker 3: in an accident, and the police spent hours trying to
- 7:23Speaker 3: figure out how to write the accident up, Like.
- 7:26Speaker 9: Who do we try to Atlanta for the police.
- 7:29Speaker 10: They spent on the highway, it's a whole Is this
- 7:33Speaker 10: any accident inside the perimeter without a driver?
- 7:36Speaker 7: Though? Who do you cite that that was the problem?
- 7:39Speaker 3: Most we usually we get the we get the information
- 7:43Speaker 3: from the two people in the accident. There is no
- 7:46Speaker 3: person other than the passenger. They weren't in charge of
- 7:49Speaker 3: anything but riding. So who and the car actually hit somebody?
- 7:54Speaker 4: So and it's so funny because I was talking to
- 7:56Speaker 4: some guys during the week about the police. If you
- 7:59Speaker 4: people out there want better policing, I've said this a
- 8:01Speaker 4: million times, pay them more money, Pay them more money
- 8:06Speaker 4: so you can be able to ask more of them.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Pay them so they need a college degree because a
- 8:15Speaker 4: lot of you want smart police. Well, if you don't
- 8:21Speaker 4: have any indication, which a lot of times shows like
- 8:25Speaker 4: through degrees or something, that you're dealing with a smarter
- 8:28Speaker 4: pool of people, then stop stop right needing your officer
- 8:35Speaker 4: to be able to count when that wasn't part of
- 8:38Speaker 4: the job. Part of the job was hitting the target
- 8:41Speaker 4: with the gun and being and having and having the
- 8:46Speaker 4: part of you that would be okay putting yourself in
- 8:49Speaker 4: danger or But if you need these people to be
- 8:52Speaker 4: on a higher level of interaction and intelligence, then raise
- 8:57Speaker 4: the money so you can make sure you got to
- 8:59Speaker 4: have have uh two classes of human relations, something that
- 9:06Speaker 4: deals with people like you're, so that all officers know
- 9:09Speaker 4: how to deal.
- 9:11Speaker 7: How would they have training.
- 9:14Speaker 9: Cars?
- 9:14Speaker 3: I mean, that's what I'm saying. They don't have that
- 9:16Speaker 3: at the academy. Driver less car interaction. That's just not
- 9:20Speaker 3: something that the academy or policing has caught up with yet.
- 9:24Speaker 3: So that's my thing about the way more we don't
- 9:27Speaker 3: even have.
- 9:28Speaker 4: It's the difference between college refereeing and high school refereeing.
- 9:33Speaker 4: And high school refereeing. Basically, if you got the money
- 9:37Speaker 4: to boyty in in the background check and that's all
- 9:41Speaker 4: it take.
- 9:43Speaker 7: They don't.
- 9:44Speaker 4: They don't require you to fully know the book, they
- 9:49Speaker 4: don't require you to be in shape, none of that
- 9:56Speaker 4: they do on the you got is it's like joining
- 9:59Speaker 4: the military or for college there's requirements because of the
- 10:04Speaker 4: pay scale and the opportunity, but we can all right now. Basically,
- 10:08Speaker 4: if you could pass the background check and you got
- 10:10Speaker 4: whatever money it is, you're ninety percent there.
- 10:15Speaker 7: There is no.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Even when you ever watch a high school game, you know,
- 10:18Speaker 4: I go to them, I call them. There's not a
- 10:22Speaker 4: unified uniform. Some of them got on a belt, some
- 10:25Speaker 4: of them don't. This dude don't even have on the
- 10:29Speaker 4: right sneakers to be out on the field. Are you
- 10:31Speaker 4: on the field trying to call a football game and
- 10:33Speaker 4: running shoes? It just it's just what you get. And
- 10:39Speaker 4: on the high school level, they're glad too. But mster
- 10:45Speaker 4: officer over here wants this higher level of interaction from GDS.
- 10:51Speaker 9: No, I just say speed up. I mean, that's all
- 10:53Speaker 9: I said.
- 10:54Speaker 7: From GDS. And then he does the thing I've been
- 10:57Speaker 7: known for him to do for fifteen years, say something
- 11:00Speaker 7: and then try to say he didn't say something, as
- 11:03Speaker 7: though I have good hearing.
- 11:06Speaker 9: Speed up.
- 11:08Speaker 7: Taking hours to show up for a car almost.
- 11:11Speaker 3: Cursed when you said say something and didn't say he
- 11:14Speaker 3: didn't say something. And right when you said that, he said, no,
- 11:16Speaker 3: I didn't.
- 11:17Speaker 4: We'll be back. We got a big show for you,
- 11:20Speaker 4: Jaylen Brown on the move. Everybody hating Caitlin because she
- 11:24Speaker 4: is a white girl. White She's a white girl.
- 11:28Speaker 7: So y'all are hating Chris Johnson.
- 11:32Speaker 9: Uh.
- 11:33Speaker 4: And a very interesting story how our country deals with
- 11:36Speaker 4: anything now from such a racial standpoint happening between the
- 11:42Speaker 4: Washington Nationals and the Boston Red Sox. We'll be back
- 11:46Speaker 4: right after this or the Sports Shock Show.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Don't go away.
- 12:01Speaker 1: More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dan videos
- 12:04Speaker 1: coming up next.

- 12:11Speaker 11: at home and abroad. They've slept in tanks, fox owls,
- 12:15Speaker 11: and even.

- 12:16Speaker 12: They've had our backs.
- 12:18Speaker 7: Now we have there.

- 13:13Speaker 13: neighbor's home for dinner for the first time. How would
- 13:16Speaker 13: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home.
- 13:18Speaker 14: Hey, Hey, we're so excited for tonight. Before we come over, though,
- 13:22Speaker 14: may ask if there are any unlocked guns in your home.
- 13:25Speaker 15: Our guns are stored securely, locked in a safe that
- 13:27Speaker 15: the kids can't access.
- 13:30Speaker 7: Awesome.

- 14:19Speaker 16: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 14:23Speaker 16: on the Sports Jock Show.
- 14:24Speaker 7: It's taken it to a completely different level this year.
- 14:27Speaker 16: Where we highlight an accolade that has taken their game
- 14:30Speaker 16: to the next level.
- 14:55Speaker 7: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 14:56Speaker 4: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy, commagin you, Greg Big Kennedy,
- 14:59Speaker 4: Fun and him himself and the bad producer in the
- 15:01Speaker 4: building This Morning USA. Last night two zero over Bosnia
- 15:08Speaker 4: Hurts in a game where Bosnia played US very physical,
- 15:13Speaker 4: very physical match looked like they were trying to use
- 15:15Speaker 4: their size advantage take advantage of any opportunity They had
- 15:19Speaker 4: to knock a USA player to the turf, but the
- 15:25Speaker 4: US able to score early and then make the penalty
- 15:29Speaker 4: kick which which was truly by Tillman a bendit like
- 15:35Speaker 4: Beckham moment, great penalty kick to put US up to
- 15:39Speaker 4: oh US will be moving on. One of their top players, Beluglan,
- 15:48Speaker 4: did get a red car that's going to keep him out.
- 15:52Speaker 4: He got thrown out of this game. He scored the
- 15:54Speaker 4: first goal. He won't be able to make the game
- 15:57Speaker 4: against Belgium. But the us A seems to.
- 15:59Speaker 9: Be very focused and a gamer right now.
- 16:03Speaker 4: When you watch them, they have that kind of disposition
- 16:06Speaker 4: like they're not really paying attention to maybe the other
- 16:10Speaker 4: team might be better. We're just going to go out here,
- 16:15Speaker 4: put the ball on the ground and almost be ignorant
- 16:18Speaker 4: to the fact that you are better. Like that is
- 16:23Speaker 4: a part of sport, like where people don't really grasp
- 16:27Speaker 4: that part where I know, I ain't really supposed to
- 16:30Speaker 4: be hanging with you, beating you, but why not today
- 16:35Speaker 4: and moving on to the round of sixteen, so.
- 16:39Speaker 3: That I would say, remember when at first we were
- 16:43Speaker 3: fascinated with the first European player who dared to go, man,
- 16:47Speaker 3: you know what I noticed an American game, But maybe
- 16:51Speaker 3: I could be pretty good at this And now the
- 16:53Speaker 3: league is flooded with European players. Maybe we've missed American
- 16:56Speaker 3: players getting serious about soccer. It's never been our sport.
- 17:00Speaker 3: But those guys seem to have come to the mindset.
- 17:04Speaker 3: On some man, this dude ain't that much faster than me,
- 17:07Speaker 3: you know, just because he's from Brazil or from Bosnia.
- 17:10Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, you know, they were bigger, But I
- 17:12Speaker 3: mean when it comes to skill set and just the
- 17:14Speaker 3: belief that we can get out there with you and
- 17:18Speaker 3: compete as equals, they seem to have that.
- 17:21Speaker 10: With low Cup being out of the game tomorrow and
- 17:24Speaker 10: that being a with him getting a red card, what
- 17:28Speaker 10: that show with the United States just knowing a little
- 17:30Speaker 10: about soccer. My daughter played plays and they played a
- 17:36Speaker 10: thirty minute plus game with ten play a man down
- 17:38Speaker 10: and still was able to win the game. And that
- 17:41Speaker 10: shows that even out with your star was out, that
- 17:45Speaker 10: they were they banded together and they're trying to make
- 17:48Speaker 10: a difference. And it's a big game against Belgium because
- 17:52Speaker 10: Belgium is ranked higher in the world than the United States,
- 17:55Speaker 10: and if we could beat Belgium, that's really gonna put
- 17:59Speaker 10: United States so on the forefront.
- 18:01Speaker 4: Yeah, Belgium yesterday beating Senegal three to two. Really had
- 18:06Speaker 4: to dig deep to pull that one out. So Monday
- 18:11Speaker 4: that game between the USA and Belgium, and one of
- 18:14Speaker 4: my friends hit me and he was down at this
- 18:16Speaker 4: new place called COSM said he was at a table
- 18:20Speaker 4: a lot of people and when the national anthem was played,
- 18:27Speaker 4: good portion of the place stood up. He found that
- 18:33Speaker 4: most of the people that were sitting with him did not.
- 18:37Speaker 4: And I told him it's very interesting because I would
- 18:41Speaker 4: know some of the people that would be sitting at
- 18:42Speaker 4: the table with them, and they'd be the same people
- 18:45Speaker 4: that will come to my home for something like the
- 18:49Speaker 4: Super Bowl or the All Star Game and be and
- 18:56Speaker 4: they would be just so ready for who's singing the
- 19:01Speaker 4: national anthem? And I told him, is I don't understand
- 19:06Speaker 4: that you won't stand for the flag? But you always
- 19:09Speaker 4: wondering who the NFL or the NBA or somebody before
- 19:12Speaker 4: a big boxing match has Why are you so intrigued?
- 19:17Speaker 9: Oh, it's selective? And now aren't you you?
- 19:20Speaker 4: You want Whitney Houston to come sing the national anthem,
- 19:25Speaker 4: but you don't want to, So which one?
- 19:27Speaker 7: Is it? Great?
- 19:28Speaker 3: And I'm even more confused with aren't you there? To
- 19:30Speaker 3: watch the us A compete. I mean, now, if I'm
- 19:35Speaker 3: at a basketball game and Whitney's there, then ooh, that's
- 19:38Speaker 3: a bonus. But I mean to actually go watch or
- 19:43Speaker 3: be sitting and watching the USA play, supporting the USA,
- 19:47Speaker 3: and then our song come on and you don't get
- 19:50Speaker 3: up and cut a rug.
- 19:52Speaker 9: I mean, you know, come on, man, I mean I
- 19:54Speaker 9: want to be entertained for the national anthem too. No, no, no,
- 19:58Speaker 9: I'm not. I'm not standing and see and that's not
- 20:01Speaker 9: someone I would be entertaining.
- 20:03Speaker 7: And that's the thing.
- 20:04Speaker 4: But not only that you want to be entertained, you're
- 20:07Speaker 4: wondering who is going to sing it? So why are
- 20:10Speaker 4: you so interested in the national anthem for something you
- 20:13Speaker 4: don't even stand for.
- 20:18Speaker 9: I don't not stand for it all the time. Got'd
- 20:22Speaker 9: be someone worth standing for it. I don't get it.
- 20:26Speaker 7: I don't understand what you mean. Is somebody worth standing for?
- 20:30Speaker 9: If I want to know who's singing it so I
- 20:33Speaker 9: can decide if I want to stand for it.
- 20:35Speaker 4: No, you don't stand when Whitney sings it either. You're
- 20:37Speaker 4: just relishing in that you love the song that we
- 20:42Speaker 4: love her rendition. You're still sitting, So why are you
- 20:46Speaker 4: cheering on the song but not representing the song?
- 20:52Speaker 9: I don't not stand all the time, and you've just
- 20:55Speaker 9: seen me not stand.
- 20:57Speaker 4: No, you never stand most of the time. A person
- 21:01Speaker 4: don't stand, they never stand.
- 21:03Speaker 3: And when you don't stand, what is your reason for
- 21:06Speaker 3: not standing? I mean I recently was at a graduation
- 21:09Speaker 3: and there was a row set aside for elderly people
- 21:12Speaker 3: who had difficulty being erect for any amount of time,
- 21:16Speaker 3: so they would let them sit at the railing in
- 21:19Speaker 3: their walkers or there. And when they play national anthems
- 21:22Speaker 3: and things like that, even those people respectfully put their
- 21:26Speaker 3: hands over their hearts. I'm asking, when you don't stand,
- 21:30Speaker 3: outside of being physically incapable of standing, what are your
- 21:34Speaker 3: other accompanying reasons.
- 21:41Speaker 9: I don't know. I don't not.
- 21:46Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, okay, yeah yeah. I would imagine the four
- 21:50Speaker 4: of us. That's why I never asked this that question,
- 21:52Speaker 4: because I get the vibe that all of us see
- 21:57Speaker 4: the bigger picture and would stand.
- 22:00Speaker 7: And I'm one of those.
- 22:01Speaker 3: If you sitting with me and we went to the
- 22:03Speaker 3: game together and you not stand, and I give you
- 22:05Speaker 3: a amen, hey, may come on, man, get up.
- 22:11Speaker 7: We'll be back. More to sports Shock Show. Right after this, Nobody.

- 24:51Speaker 7: Em Welcome back to this one Shock show. I'm this
- 25:15Speaker 7: wry shock Wing Candy.
- 25:17Speaker 4: NBA free agency going off last night with the trade
- 25:23Speaker 4: of Jalen Brown to the Phillies, and just interesting because
- 25:29Speaker 4: you're talking about an n Division opponent between the Sixers
- 25:34Speaker 4: and the Celtics. Jalen Brown having his best season as
- 25:39Speaker 4: of last year, He's twenty nine years only be thirty
- 25:41Speaker 4: by the time the next season starts. He has shown
- 25:45Speaker 4: you by being able to be the Finals MVP to
- 25:51Speaker 4: get a ring. Also lost to the Golden State Warriors
- 25:56Speaker 4: early in his career in the finals. One of the
- 26:00Speaker 4: nobody's really won more in the time that Jalen Brown
- 26:03Speaker 4: has been around.
- 26:04Speaker 7: With the Celtics.
- 26:06Speaker 4: Traded basically to the seventy six ers for what amounts
- 26:12Speaker 4: to some draft picks. And I say that no disrespect
- 26:16Speaker 4: for Paul George, but Paul George Hall of Fame status
- 26:25Speaker 4: would have to be judged by his first eight nine years.
- 26:32Speaker 4: It won't be over the last seven. He's thirty six,
- 26:35Speaker 4: thirty seven years old. He's rarely been available over the list,
- 26:41Speaker 4: but due mostly to injury, haven't really felt like Paul
- 26:46Speaker 4: George is Paul George. And she was in that Indian
- 26:49Speaker 4: app Indiana Jersey, but his first couple of years when
- 26:54Speaker 4: he got to the Clip. Yes, I first couple of
- 26:57Speaker 4: years he got to the Clippers. But then it's been
- 27:02Speaker 4: filling with me with Paul George. Paul George is a talent,
- 27:07Speaker 4: and there are athletes that see and vibrate for the money.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Sports are a lucrative business. He just always have given
- 27:19Speaker 4: me the demeanor that holding up a trophy is not
- 27:23Speaker 4: necessarily as much as it is. By the time I retire,
- 27:26Speaker 4: I've made a half a billion dollars. Can't not kill
- 27:31Speaker 4: hustle every you know, just an athlete looking at another
- 27:35Speaker 4: athlete when it gets into that kind of cruise, why
- 27:38Speaker 4: not there's no demand about the spirit that a championship
- 27:43Speaker 4: is something that he needs. Doesn't mean that he doesn't
- 27:48Speaker 4: want it inside, but he doesn't need it. So you
- 27:53Speaker 4: get him at thirty six coming off more injuries than
- 27:56Speaker 4: you would like, so you just it's just you don't
- 27:59Speaker 4: know what you're gonna get. But the Sixers do, and
- 28:02Speaker 4: they're gonna get a champion in Brown. My biggest thing
- 28:05Speaker 4: with the whole thing is that I, once again being
- 28:10Speaker 4: here in Atlanta being a Hawks guy, just don't get
- 28:16Speaker 4: why I never hear the Hawks in the mix. Now
- 28:21Speaker 4: they could be quietly when people say, oh, there's eight
- 28:25Speaker 4: ten teams, maybe they were one of those eight of ten.
- 28:29Speaker 4: But I do know Janniupo, Dalen Brown, other big names
- 28:34Speaker 4: each and every offseason. I never hear anything about Atlanta
- 28:37Speaker 4: Hawks being in the mix of even attempting to grab
- 28:41Speaker 4: some of these guys to be a difference maker.
- 28:45Speaker 7: And Miami real close.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Then you said Miami, you had to kind of go, oh,
- 28:53Speaker 3: you actually had a connected flight through Atlanta to go
- 28:56Speaker 3: to Miami, and you ain't want to stop buying. Didn't
- 28:59Speaker 3: nobody want to invite you to come? Hey man, let's
- 29:01Speaker 3: just get some wings. You know what I'm saying. I
- 29:02Speaker 3: don't know, didn't And you can't imagine that that's because
- 29:12Speaker 3: the front offices here aren't aware of the talent that's available.
- 29:21Speaker 3: I don't just I can't imagine they don't have the money.
- 29:25Speaker 3: It's just interesting in this. But Jaden Brown now with
- 29:28Speaker 3: Tyresse Maxie, helped the health of Joela Beebe. And I
- 29:34Speaker 3: know people was mentioning the whole little but I don't
- 29:36Speaker 3: know if they had a riff as much as it
- 29:38Speaker 3: was just good competition. I can't just say those couple
- 29:41Speaker 3: of little y'all do know, like athletes are supposed to
- 29:46Speaker 3: have friction between them when they're competing.
- 29:48Speaker 9: Right between the teams or teams or players. I think
- 29:55Speaker 9: in this case that Okay, the Sixers beat the Celtics
- 30:01Speaker 9: in the playoffs, eliminate them from the playoffs. They're in
- 30:04Speaker 9: the same division. And the way that Jalen Brown was
- 30:12Speaker 9: perceived as far as in trade talks, like the Celtics
- 30:17Speaker 9: made a play for Giannis, and I mean you would,
- 30:21Speaker 9: I think in any situation with that, if you're trying
- 30:24Speaker 9: to get Yannis and you have Tatum and Brown, you
- 30:27Speaker 9: got to trade one of them, so if you want Giannis.
- 30:31Speaker 9: So a lot of people looked at Jalen Brown as
- 30:33Speaker 9: being upset that he was included. He may have been
- 30:38Speaker 9: included in a potential trade like that. So now his
- 30:42Speaker 9: relationship with the Celtics is has has soured. But I
- 30:47Speaker 9: think there were like other factors that went into like
- 30:52Speaker 9: well he's worth, he's word, well I come out him.
- 30:55Speaker 9: His ability to play with Joe Labe. Well, that's just
- 31:00Speaker 9: like you said, that's just like competition. They're in the
- 31:02Speaker 9: same division, so they played each other. Now they played
- 31:06Speaker 9: each other probably ten times this year, So I think
- 31:11Speaker 9: that's just normal competition. But I think when those guys
- 31:14Speaker 9: get on when they're on.
- 31:15Speaker 10: The same team, then well they had a little problem
- 31:19Speaker 10: a couple years ago. I'm thinking you may be alluding
- 31:22Speaker 10: to that. That's what a lot of people have spoke
- 31:24Speaker 10: on that.
- 31:25Speaker 9: Even with that, but they're on the whatever that might
- 31:28Speaker 9: have been, they're on the same same and.
- 31:31Speaker 7: Then there was a I don't know, I've never.
- 31:38Speaker 3: I've never played team sports because I've always seen myself
- 31:44Speaker 3: as the guy. So I'm not finna wait for some
- 31:46Speaker 3: coach to try and figure that out. I'm just gonna
- 31:49Speaker 3: do the guy stuff. And you don't think people have
- 31:52Speaker 3: that mentality. I wonder on the team, we teammates, but
- 31:55Speaker 3: you ain't finna be the man on the team.
- 31:57Speaker 7: I'm a man on this team. No.
- 32:01Speaker 10: I was just saying that, And then back to what
- 32:04Speaker 10: Greg was saying. When he was Jaylen Brown was upset
- 32:06Speaker 10: because his name was trade till.
- 32:08Speaker 7: You mentioned an incident in the playoffs.
- 32:11Speaker 9: Well, it's the playoffs. It was not last year, it
- 32:13Speaker 9: was not this year.
- 32:14Speaker 10: Was here before when they won two years ago, they
- 32:18Speaker 10: had a little scuffle and it was just a little
- 32:20Speaker 10: dust up and and it's just like you said, it
- 32:23Speaker 10: was a moment playing ball in the media proceed that
- 32:27Speaker 10: that could be a problem in the locker room, but
- 32:30Speaker 10: that's not gonna be a problem for those that team.
- 32:34Speaker 9: But back to what don't don't make?
- 32:38Speaker 4: Don't make blanket statements like I would offer you not
- 32:40Speaker 4: to make a blanket statement. Well that it could be
- 32:44Speaker 4: and it couldn't be. It could be, yeah, it could
- 32:48Speaker 4: be just competition, but I don't know how far it
- 32:52Speaker 4: traveled into personal And people speak of it as though, oh,
- 32:57Speaker 4: I saw you too, you have a knife in his hand. Yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 4: both of y'all been having a battle. I mean, y'all
- 33:05Speaker 4: would never work together. That's not now, It's not like
- 33:07Speaker 4: that true.
- 33:08Speaker 10: And then you've got people that can make a call
- 33:10Speaker 10: who knows both maybe know both of them, and hey,
- 33:12Speaker 10: let's let's go ahead there and sit down with this
- 33:14Speaker 10: and let's go ahead straight us out. We got a
- 33:16Speaker 10: chance to do something bigger than I sometimes think that
- 33:19Speaker 10: when we do, when we project like that, we romanticized.
- 33:23Speaker 10: I'm not romanticized, well, but I said I feel like, well,
- 33:29Speaker 10: when people do that, sometimes they romanticize. You really want
- 33:34Speaker 10: to believe that I see this as more than my job.
- 33:38Speaker 10: It's a lot of people I work qu dude I
- 33:41Speaker 10: don't like, but we managed to do great work together.
- 33:46Speaker 10: And and why can't I just be a professional. Why
- 33:49Speaker 10: can't I be willing to clock in and lock in
- 33:52Speaker 10: and we get this done for the sake of the team,
- 33:54Speaker 10: and then I go home.
- 33:56Speaker 4: Lebron James not going back to the Lakers. The Lakers
- 33:59Speaker 4: did on Austin Reeves, so that pairs him with Luca.
- 34:03Speaker 4: They just went and got Walker Kessler. Warrigal to you,
- 34:07Speaker 4: Kessler a big man and something that you know when
- 34:11Speaker 4: you have like a look of when you have like
- 34:12Speaker 4: a James Harden, when you have even like Anthony Edwards,
- 34:18Speaker 4: you start looking for more of a true Rudy Gobert
- 34:22Speaker 4: type guy. God is gonna protect the paint, kind of
- 34:25Speaker 4: back them up on defense, give them that big body
- 34:28Speaker 4: that they can lob the ball to a lot of times.
- 34:31Speaker 4: So you might not appreciate based on how you see basketball,
- 34:37Speaker 4: the Walker Kessler type guy. Similar while they went and
- 34:42Speaker 4: got Andre Ayton out there as DeAndre Ayden as well,
- 34:47Speaker 4: because that kind of person goes a long way with
- 34:52Speaker 4: someone like a Lebron James, and you can team. If
- 34:55Speaker 4: you ever some of the lebron James' best years was
- 34:58Speaker 4: when he has a was Il Galskus and Galuskas and
- 35:10Speaker 4: Tristan Thompson and guys that he could kind of get
- 35:14Speaker 4: eight ten points from from his penetration and then being
- 35:18Speaker 4: able to get them to dunk.
- 35:20Speaker 7: Well, a guy like.
- 35:22Speaker 9: That's a name like Walker Kesler was a name I
- 35:24Speaker 9: heard all season that he would maybe in trade talks
- 35:28Speaker 9: or he's going to go in the free agency and
- 35:31Speaker 9: command a huge deal. He is an elite considered an
- 35:37Speaker 9: elite rim protector and that he's he's going to have
- 35:42Speaker 9: high value in that way. So it's interesting that he
- 35:47Speaker 9: in this now post Lebron era that that's where he's
- 35:51Speaker 9: going to be. So it's really it really is Luca's
- 35:53Speaker 9: team now.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Well, no, it goes along with you Bill. What what
- 35:56Speaker 4: made Luca Luca is the same as Lebron as for
- 36:00Speaker 4: as they know how to use that kind of old
- 36:02Speaker 4: school post guy he can roll.
- 36:04Speaker 7: Also, they had.
- 36:04Speaker 4: Those kind of guys. Luca had them that he could
- 36:07Speaker 4: just throw what was Tyson was it?
- 36:10Speaker 9: He had Gafford. He had Daniel Gafford in Dallas.
- 36:13Speaker 4: Guys that had their best years because he had that ability,
- 36:17Speaker 4: kind of like Clinton Capella had his best years with
- 36:19Speaker 4: a guy like a James Harden. You need that kind
- 36:22Speaker 4: of player. So Lebron James, where do you before we
- 36:25Speaker 4: go to break Lebron Golden State or Cleveland?
- 36:30Speaker 7: Cleveland?
- 36:34Speaker 9: Cleveland, Cleveland works? Where he's going to Cleveland?
- 36:38Speaker 4: Lebron James still on the market. Where will he play
- 36:41Speaker 4: year number twenty four? That would probably be the biggest
- 36:44Speaker 4: domino of the summer. Trying to find somewhere that he
- 36:48Speaker 4: can put his talents to use for another year.
- 36:51Speaker 7: Will be back more to Sportshock Show right after this.

- 39:17Speaker 9: This what shock?
- 39:18Speaker 7: Wayne?
- 39:18Speaker 9: Again?
- 39:19Speaker 4: D the w NB A lot of comments here over
- 39:22Speaker 4: the last couple of days, some outlandish statements, uh, like
- 39:27Speaker 4: from Emanuel Ocho or h or however you say his
- 39:30Speaker 4: name o Cho where he's talking about, Uh, maybe it's
- 39:36Speaker 4: time for basically Caitlin Clark to leave the w n
- 39:41Speaker 4: B A and I would love to sit there and
- 39:43Speaker 4: ask him. So, you know, the w NBA started thirty
- 39:49Speaker 4: years ago. They started with a lot of excitement. Was
- 39:54Speaker 4: first four or five years. If you're not old enough
- 39:56Speaker 4: to remember, or you just have forgotten, h they were
- 40:00Speaker 4: something to watch, and then they faded out. And some
- 40:05Speaker 4: of that fading was that some of those Olympic big
- 40:10Speaker 4: names started retiring. Some of the names that had built
- 40:14Speaker 4: women's basketball Cynthonia Cooper At, Lisa Leslie, al those they
- 40:18Speaker 4: started tiring because when they by the time they started it,
- 40:22Speaker 4: some of these ladies women were already in their thirties
- 40:27Speaker 4: at that time. After about five six, seven years, the
- 40:32Speaker 4: names that people knew in the sport had gone away,
- 40:39Speaker 4: and they came with all that fanfare.
- 40:41Speaker 7: It was huge names.
- 40:42Speaker 4: The names that we steal some of the great we
- 40:44Speaker 4: are almost kind of forget the middle ground because that's
- 40:50Speaker 4: how it felt. So you take Caitlyn Clark, who is
- 40:52Speaker 4: on her third year.
- 40:55Speaker 7: And you take Caitlyn Clark, who was only twenty four
- 40:58Speaker 7: years old. You can't even get your kid that's twenty
- 41:04Speaker 7: four to be responsible enough to pay their own car insurance.
- 41:13Speaker 7: But y'all got all these demands for people. Unfortunately some
- 41:19Speaker 7: twenty four year olds, they twenty four put all that.
- 41:24Speaker 7: The little things is about right for where she act
- 41:28Speaker 7: a little pouding.
- 41:29Speaker 4: She hasn't really matured. She wants her way. She feels
- 41:33Speaker 4: the pressure of the world. Everything is supposed to be
- 41:36Speaker 4: built around me. I'm supposed to deliver, and sometimes she
- 41:39Speaker 4: acts that way. You're looking for that maturity of Asia Wilson.
- 41:43Speaker 4: Asia Wilson is thirty, she's in that sweet spot. Well,
- 41:49Speaker 4: she could just ball out and that's what she's been doing.
- 41:53Speaker 4: But you take Caitlyn Clark. How do you know we
- 41:55Speaker 4: don't go back. I know I've watched very little WNBA
- 42:02Speaker 4: that Caitlin Clark is not involved in. If it ain't
- 42:06Speaker 4: Caitlyn Clark or Asia Wilson, I most likely don't tune in.
- 42:13Speaker 4: That is just true facts. I watched the Dream when
- 42:18Speaker 4: they play Indiana or Vegas, that's it. Angel Reese doesn't
- 42:28Speaker 4: drive me to watch the dream anymore than I did
- 42:31Speaker 4: before she got here. But when she when they even
- 42:35Speaker 4: played those two teams, I want to see it. So
- 42:38Speaker 4: you're saying you're gonna take, if not the number one
- 42:43Speaker 4: face of the league, the number two now face doesn't
- 42:46Speaker 4: mean the best. Caitlin Clark will tell you Asia Wilson
- 42:52Speaker 4: is rightfully where she's supposed to be. I'm not understanding,
- 42:57Speaker 4: but I think Greg, come on, you big babaducer. When
- 43:01Speaker 4: I think about it, we have all lived, especially Big Kenny,
- 43:05Speaker 4: the Baba Duca, and I have lived to see the
- 43:07Speaker 4: second coming of Larry Bird.
- 43:10Speaker 9: Mm hmm.
- 43:12Speaker 7: You thought it was gonna be a dude. You just
- 43:14Speaker 7: thought it was going to be a dude.
- 43:16Speaker 9: Dude.
- 43:17Speaker 7: You didn't know, you didn't know. They girls out the camp.
- 43:20Speaker 7: I kept thinking about, where have I seen this movie before?
- 43:26Speaker 9: Blue Chip? And it was a kid that they called
- 43:31Speaker 9: the hick.
- 43:33Speaker 7: From French Lick from where that the people, like the
- 43:38Speaker 7: bad producer in the culture just did not want to
- 43:43Speaker 7: conceie that it's a bad boy. They heard French Lick
- 43:50Speaker 7: thought he was a European player. It took him a
- 43:53Speaker 7: long time for it just cad to concee because I
- 43:57Speaker 7: remember the other day when Babaduicers comment was, well, she's
- 44:01Speaker 7: not good as advertised. How is that? I kept thinking.
- 44:06Speaker 7: He had me thinking for three days. How would how
- 44:09Speaker 7: how does he formulate that the woman who broke all
- 44:15Speaker 7: the rookie records just two years ago. Remember she's only
- 44:17Speaker 7: only year three. She only played ten games last year
- 44:21Speaker 7: because of injury. She's back again. She was third in
- 44:24Speaker 7: league in scoring and tied for first and assists. And
- 44:27Speaker 7: his comment is that she is not as good?
- 44:32Speaker 9: Well whatever, what what?
- 44:34Speaker 4: What category would it be for you.
- 44:38Speaker 7: Two say that for grant? What what would you be?
- 44:45Speaker 7: Where would you find the evidence we in court? What
- 44:51Speaker 7: what legit evidence do you have to be able to
- 44:56Speaker 7: say she is not as good as advatise?
- 45:03Speaker 9: I wouldn't know what what that evidence would even be.
- 45:06Speaker 9: I mean some people will try to use, oh, well
- 45:08Speaker 9: they're not winning. Well that's that's kind of not the
- 45:15Speaker 9: point of Uh, that's not the I mean, maybe down
- 45:20Speaker 9: the line we hope that she would win something when
- 45:23Speaker 9: awards or championship or anything like that, but that's not
- 45:26Speaker 9: the Well how fast you wanted her to win this year?
- 45:30Speaker 4: This is really only the second year of her even
- 45:33Speaker 4: playing in the first year, they did go to the Eastern.
- 45:35Speaker 9: Finals, so so you're being unrealistic about about that, Like
- 45:41Speaker 9: even though okay, they made the commence finals her first year,
- 45:44Speaker 9: but that was kind of a a fluky ish run
- 45:49Speaker 9: because they you know, they'd only won like a few
- 45:53Speaker 9: games the year before. So it's it's there isn't a
- 45:57Speaker 9: scent going but too but some of you will have
- 46:01Speaker 9: unrealistic expectations of what she should be doing because of
- 46:04Speaker 9: the talent, but that doesn't it doesn't always work out
- 46:08Speaker 9: like that.
- 46:08Speaker 7: We'll be back.
- 46:09Speaker 4: We'll talk about Caitlyn's Clark direct line to Larry Bird
- 46:13Speaker 4: Matgie Johnson got in the NBA nineteen seventy nine eighty season,
- 46:18Speaker 4: so we're basically forty six years away. Caitlyn's mom might
- 46:24Speaker 4: only be forty six. We'd have to look that up
- 46:27Speaker 4: to even possible that she's only forty six years of age.
- 46:32Speaker 4: But it's a direct line. We thought, as you said,
- 46:35Speaker 4: mc kenny, it's going to be a man to be.
- 46:38Speaker 4: We keep waiting on Cooper flags and these different but
- 46:41Speaker 4: it's one of your Coop flags, but it's actually Caitlyn Clark.
- 46:46Speaker 7: We'll be back right after this.
- 46:55Speaker 1: Giant Kilmbo Away Boor of the Sports Joh Show with
- 47:04Speaker 1: Wayne Danvidia's dumbing Up.
- 47:05Speaker 26: Next, imagine home. The smell of coffee, the sound of
- 47:10Speaker 26: a lawnmower, the sun's warmth on your face. Free to
- 47:14Speaker 26: be yourself, surrounded by love that helps you grow. This
- 47:19Speaker 26: is a place to call home. That's an American dream
- 47:22Speaker 26: we all deserve. But in fifty percent of US states,
- 47:26Speaker 26: you could legally be denied housing if you are LGBTQ.
- 47:29Speaker 20: Plus.

- 47:40Speaker 23: which led to a pack a day. Then you met
- 47:43Speaker 23: that special someone, which led to starting a life with them,
- 47:47Speaker 23: which led to wanting to live longer, which led to quitting.
- 47:51Speaker 23: Then you heard you maybe at risk for lung cancer,

- 48:10Speaker 13: but it could save a life. Here's a way to
- 48:12Speaker 13: start a conversation. Your family is going over to your
- 48:15Speaker 13: neighbor's home for dinner for the first time. How would
- 48:17Speaker 13: you ask if there are any unlocked guns in the home.
- 48:19Speaker 14: Hey, Hey, we're so excited for tonight. Before we come over, though,
- 48:23Speaker 14: may ask if there are any unlocked guns in your home.
- 48:26Speaker 15: Our guns are stored securely, locked in a safe that

- 48:39Speaker 27: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 48:43Speaker 27: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 48:46Speaker 27: with illicit drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 48:50Speaker 27: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 48:54Speaker 27: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 48:57Speaker 27: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it isn't

- 49:14Speaker 9: Center Court on sports News Gossip.
- 49:20Speaker 28: Blah blah blah blah blah.
- 49:43Speaker 7: Welcome back to the Sports Shock Shaw.
- 49:44Speaker 9: I'm the sport Shock.
- 49:45Speaker 4: Wayne Candy, the back producer to command you, Greg Bid Kenny,
- 49:49Speaker 4: the funny man himself.
- 49:50Speaker 9: We love talking about Caitlin Clark.
- 49:53Speaker 4: I drew a line from Larry Legend Larry Bird to
- 49:59Speaker 4: Caitlin Claw arc where I had seen this is part
- 50:02Speaker 4: two of the Hick from Prince Lick. Same type of dynamics.
- 50:11Speaker 4: The interesting fact, especially by the bad producer and the
- 50:14Speaker 4: culture as he claims to be. They don't want you
- 50:18Speaker 4: to be white and be white. You'll get that when
- 50:23Speaker 4: I explained it. They don't want you to be white
- 50:26Speaker 4: and be white. That's why you girl Taylor get hate
- 50:31Speaker 4: because she's a white person and she's white.
- 50:37Speaker 7: Bad producer needs you to be white and invited to
- 50:41Speaker 7: the cookout. Will be black invited to the cookout.
- 50:44Speaker 4: That's the only way it works, Big Kenny. I was
- 50:47Speaker 4: talking about Sam ahoo O Chocho.
- 50:52Speaker 7: Yeah, audio one, here's his audio for him.
- 50:57Speaker 29: The w at this junction in time would be better
- 50:59Speaker 29: with doubt Kaitlyn Clerk. Now we realize, Oh there's talent
- 51:02Speaker 29: in the w talent that taxi even greater than Kaitlyn Clark.
- 51:05Speaker 29: And I'm not just talking about bigs like Asia. I'm
- 51:07Speaker 29: talking about the Olivia Miles, I'm talking about the page
- 51:10Speaker 29: backers hell, I'm talking about the Kelsey Mitchells. Caitlin got
- 51:14Speaker 29: the necessary eyes there, but now that the eyes are there.
- 51:18Speaker 7: We don't necessarily need her anymore.
- 51:20Speaker 29: I woke up this morning six twenty I had a
- 51:21Speaker 29: voice note, So I'm random cussing me out, calling me
- 51:24Speaker 29: this word, that word, in this word because of my
- 51:26Speaker 29: Caitlin Clark.
- 51:27Speaker 7: Take. Will you not talk about Katlin Clark no more?
- 51:29Speaker 7: Of course I will? All right, So you are new
- 51:31Speaker 7: that that's what comes with it.
- 51:33Speaker 30: When you talk about the biggest player of women's basketball history,
- 51:38Speaker 30: You're gonna get people to talk about you. Similar as
- 51:41Speaker 30: that the great thing about America is if you don't
- 51:44Speaker 30: like it, don't play OCHO you want TV, say and everything.
- 51:48Speaker 30: If you don't want people response to you saying so
- 51:50Speaker 30: if they see you or writing you DMS, they don't
- 51:53Speaker 30: do it, don't.
- 51:54Speaker 7: Talk about it.
- 51:57Speaker 4: That is Acho man is saying Man Emmanuel I show
- 52:01Speaker 4: in his comments about the players top four scores, Paige
- 52:10Speaker 4: Beckers is not in front of Caitlyn Clark. Caitlin Clark
- 52:16Speaker 4: is tied for second twenty one points a game with
- 52:19Speaker 4: her teammate Kelsey Mitchell. Caitlin Clark is tied for first
- 52:23Speaker 4: and assists with Alyssa Thompson, the lady that put her
- 52:27Speaker 4: fists on her throat. So, where you're sitting here talking
- 52:31Speaker 4: about Page Beckers Olivia Miles, who are living up to
- 52:34Speaker 4: what they are supposed to be bringing page buckets, is
- 52:38Speaker 4: page buckets. Olivia Miles is leading their team. Where is
- 52:43Speaker 4: your stat to show that to be true? So let's
- 52:47Speaker 4: not just operate on the motion you're throwing out name.
- 52:51Speaker 4: So Asia is leading the league, but none of the
- 52:56Speaker 4: people that he mentioned.
- 53:00Speaker 7: Are doing it. And when you watch the play catch
- 53:04Speaker 7: you a game, it's a true boxing one.
- 53:09Speaker 4: None of these other ladies get plagued. They start garden
- 53:15Speaker 4: Caitlin Clark from the other basket. That's how they stay
- 53:22Speaker 4: on her. They restrict her freedom from the other basket.
- 53:28Speaker 4: They don't want her to come free at all. So
- 53:32Speaker 4: when y'all, y'all like to lay into these different statements
- 53:35Speaker 4: that make the bad producer smile because you said it.
- 53:40Speaker 7: But the numbers don't support it. I'm still confused as
- 53:45Speaker 7: to what it.
- 53:46Speaker 4: Just doesn't support it. So he wants basically his in
- 53:50Speaker 4: a nutshell, big Kenny Hocho.
- 53:52Speaker 7: How do you say his name?
- 53:53Speaker 3: Again?
- 53:54Speaker 9: A cho.
- 53:56Speaker 4: Feels like she delivered by bringing all the lights and
- 54:01Speaker 4: fame and building and four hundred percent. That's what she
- 54:07Speaker 4: has gonered for the players. They have had gotten a
- 54:09Speaker 4: four hundred percent raise since she showed up. But the
- 54:13Speaker 4: distraction of her wherever that is, is now bigger than
- 54:22Speaker 4: the impact. I'm confused too.
- 54:29Speaker 3: And her leaving the league is supposed to help the league?
- 54:34Speaker 7: How how would it help?
- 54:37Speaker 3: Okay bad because he's with OO, So I guess I'm
- 54:42Speaker 3: posing that question.
- 54:42Speaker 10: I never asked her to leave the league, okay, but
- 54:45Speaker 10: how would it help her? I mean, I don't know
- 54:47Speaker 10: why the gentleman said she should leave the league, but
- 54:50Speaker 10: I do understand where he said going back to I'm
- 54:55Speaker 10: going back to Reggie Miller. In March of this year,
- 54:58Speaker 10: when they asked Reggie Miller who the Caitlin game remind
- 55:03Speaker 10: you of, he said Peyton Pritcher. He received backlash, Oh,
- 55:08Speaker 10: this hard.
- 55:08Speaker 7: This and this and that.
- 55:10Speaker 10: Then Reggie Miller said, I'm standing to what I'm saying.
- 55:13Speaker 10: You asked me, who's her game? Like I told you,
- 55:16Speaker 10: you didn't ask me what is she bought to the game? Yes,
- 55:19Speaker 10: she's bought the eyes to her game. Y'all want me
- 55:24Speaker 10: to say her game is like Steph Curry and she's
- 55:27Speaker 10: bringing that type of game to the game. But she's
- 55:29Speaker 10: bringing Peyton Pritcher and everyone gets set upset when people
- 55:34Speaker 10: like a Reggie Miller, who is one of the greatest
- 55:38Speaker 10: shooters played in Indiana, given his opinion, it's a problem. So, yeah,
- 55:43Speaker 10: she's bought the attention and that's great, just as Magic
- 55:47Speaker 10: and Larry Bird bought the attention back to the NBA,
- 55:50Speaker 10: and it's a good thing. They're gonna be able to
- 55:52Speaker 10: move forward and they're gonna win. But I'm not asking
- 55:54Speaker 10: the young lady to leave the league.
- 55:56Speaker 3: And I guess and this is the only part that
- 56:00Speaker 3: things for me to be able to process information. Part
- 56:04Speaker 3: of the component is that the information actually makes sense.
- 56:07Speaker 3: It has to be rooted in some sort of truth.
- 56:10Speaker 3: And you act like professional sports ain't a place where
- 56:13Speaker 3: we pick out a superstar and crown a king and
- 56:18Speaker 3: they can have the great ones and we.
- 56:24Speaker 7: The doctors and the ice mean and the sweet science.
- 56:30Speaker 7: You know, this is what they do in sports.
- 56:33Speaker 9: How come she.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Can't get that? How come you can't get how come
- 56:37Speaker 3: you can't give her with every other athlete that has
- 56:40Speaker 3: set their league on its ear has gotten Do you
- 56:43Speaker 3: remember when everybody was waiting on that Emmit boy? Do
- 56:47Speaker 3: you remember when people were coming out of Miami and
- 56:50Speaker 3: you can't wait? Boys, Michael Irvin, boy, that boy got everybody.
- 56:54Speaker 3: Michael Jordan man, he coming out of North Carolina. Everybody
- 56:58Speaker 3: couldn't wait to see this next new thing.
- 57:00Speaker 7: Kitenln Clark is now the next new thing.
- 57:03Speaker 3: If you go back, I remember when we couldn't wait
- 57:06Speaker 3: to see JaMarcus Russell. But I mean you and like
- 57:11Speaker 3: I said, now, but now Caitlyn Clark not only has
- 57:14Speaker 3: to be the next new thing, she got to be
- 57:17Speaker 3: the next new thing.
- 57:18Speaker 7: That's the MVP and the champion and.
- 57:21Speaker 3: The All Pro her first contract I'm talking about.
- 57:26Speaker 7: I mean and as the sports jock said, she only played.
- 57:29Speaker 3: Ten games last season, ten games and we're still talking
- 57:34Speaker 3: about her.
- 57:35Speaker 7: We'll be back more to the sports Jock show right
- 57:36Speaker 7: after this.
- 57:39Speaker 31: All I want to show with my fashe lose myself
- 57:45Speaker 31: inside a rebody. She ain't even checking.

- 1:00:24Speaker 7: Gonna go on the way.
- 1:00:25Speaker 22: You may.
- 1:00:28Speaker 4: Welcome back to this sport shock show. I'm the sports
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: shock Wayne Candy, good morning to you. As we roll
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: into the fourth of June, Lie on Saturday, all of
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: us are hoping it's one of those days that you
- 1:00:40Speaker 4: definitely hope that no rain comes by not so much
- 1:00:44Speaker 4: worried about the temperature. You're not even worried about if
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: the sun's out. But the one thing you don't particularly
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: like because people like to go to parks, they like
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: to go to amusement parks, they like to go to
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: different things, just sit out, barbecue in the backyard or anywhere,
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: like to go see the fireworks. All of that can
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: get dampened by the rain. So hopefully wherever you are,
- 1:01:09Speaker 4: there's no rain on Saturday. Hot Debate we left out
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: of that first hour talking about Caitlyn Clark, which once
- 1:01:17Speaker 4: again finds itself in the Medialyssa Thompson saying that it
- 1:01:21Speaker 4: was just an accident. She didn't really know that her
- 1:01:27Speaker 4: fist was bald and pushing down on Caitlyn Clark's throat.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: I just wish, as I said last week, she would
- 1:01:34Speaker 4: just be the bad boy in that situation, be the
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: Detroit Pistons of the eighties, be the New York Knicks
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: of the nineties. Be those people who they were just
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: letting the tempo be known. But then go oh, I
- 1:01:52Speaker 4: don't know it. Dam she could she could just be
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: like everybody can get it, saying that she has death
- 1:01:58Speaker 4: threads and that's not a surprise. I keep telling y'all
- 1:02:02Speaker 4: people to get off. That's all they do on social media.
- 1:02:07Speaker 4: Y'all don't bring me anything from social media that pushes
- 1:02:10Speaker 4: me forward. Everything about what people offer me from social
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: media is some type of hate distortedness. I rarely get
- 1:02:19Speaker 4: the positive comment or the provocative question that pushes and
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: drives the store forward. Y'all seem like it only a
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: i's in all the negatives. It really people, man, they said,
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: where is.
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: You know the kind? Where is? So?
- 1:02:40Speaker 4: No cop in the last thirty years has ever rescued anybody?
- 1:02:46Speaker 7: No?
- 1:02:47Speaker 9: Oh, okay, I saw actually I think he jumped in
- 1:02:56Speaker 9: a burning car or something like that, and was you
- 1:02:59Speaker 9: knowing sure that he got somebody out.
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: But with Caitlyn Clark, once again, it seems that she
- 1:03:06Speaker 4: has been framed in something that really bounces over me.
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: When why can't the same equality of you wanting to
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: be a star be applied to her wanting to be
- 1:03:20Speaker 4: a star.
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: This is not.
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: This is not one of those things where I wrote
- 1:03:26Speaker 4: a book and you get to give an opinion. This
- 1:03:31Speaker 4: is truly what it is. Twenty one points a game,
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: close to nine assist game. She did the same thing
- 1:03:40Speaker 4: when she was a rookie, the number one score or
- 1:03:43Speaker 4: tied for scoring with Kelsey Mitchell, which do you know,
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: even when he was giving those names, all of those
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: are the top players. Kelsey Milchew is the record that
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: Plum broke, that Caitlyn Clark broke. Kelsey Mitchell is a
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: professional score. When she left college, she was the leading
- 1:04:11Speaker 4: all time score. This is how it actually run. Plum
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: had it, Mitchell had it, Caitlyn Clark had it. Now
- 1:04:19Speaker 4: they just happened to be teammates. They both averaged twenty
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: one points game. So how is her star? And she's
- 1:04:28Speaker 4: legit but mine aren't?
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: Uh and I And every time we ask that question,
- 1:04:34Speaker 3: what we always get back to and one of our
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: loyal online listeners, Casey Lamar Hughey Senior said, because she's
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: a white woman doing it now. He's the only person
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: that I've had this conversation with brave enough to comment
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: openly that that's most people's feeling. That she's a white woman. Now,
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: I guess we've colorized the WNBA. But because of that
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: stance that most people have taken that she don't deserve
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: it because she a white woman.
- 1:05:09Speaker 7: I think that.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: Sports, sports wide, all genres of sports, the broadcasters, the participants,
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: the coaches, everybody, got to drop any claims of racism.
- 1:05:21Speaker 7: We just all racist.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: Now we've proven that it ain't no them boys trying
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: to undo us from the Ivory Towers because we black.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Here's a whole bunch of black folks mad at a
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: white person for just getting out and hooping. So just
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: play ball, tip the ball up, kick the ball off.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: Let's start our engines everything we need to do. Let's
- 1:05:45Speaker 3: do that and be racist. Because if this ain't racism,
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: tell me what it is, bad producer, command you Greg.
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: If this is not one grade A organic racism, what
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: is this?
- 1:05:58Speaker 9: Well like earlier, this is this is that Larry Bird
- 1:06:02Speaker 9: narrative all over again. Right, I'm saying, so, I can't
- 1:06:07Speaker 9: so it's mean it's racism. Was just it was racist,
- 1:06:11Speaker 9: don't it don't mean it's Remember Larry Bird's own black
- 1:06:16Speaker 9: teammates are like, no, he ain't that good, and then
- 1:06:18Speaker 9: he showed them. Remember when baseball was uh, hey man,
- 1:06:23Speaker 9: we don't need that black dude. Remember remember the first
- 1:06:27Speaker 9: black quarterback? Remember when Doug Williams went to the Super Bowl.
- 1:06:32Speaker 9: You've lived long enough to remember that, and they won't.
- 1:06:35Speaker 9: He's just hyping him because he.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: Backs don't play quarterback because they but they're black, and
- 1:06:43Speaker 3: you scream racism.
- 1:06:45Speaker 7: But it was And now.
- 1:06:48Speaker 10: No, I'm just saying I know several people who played
- 1:06:51Speaker 10: with Larry Bird and they we have talked about this.
- 1:06:55Speaker 10: They didn't look at it like they knew Larry was
- 1:06:57Speaker 10: nice because they played against him in college and they
- 1:07:00Speaker 10: played against him, and it was just what the media,
- 1:07:02Speaker 10: the media portrayed this thing, just like now it's a
- 1:07:06Speaker 10: chance opportunity to put what like in boxing, they still
- 1:07:12Speaker 10: looking for what Coloney? What was his name when he
- 1:07:14Speaker 10: went to fight Larry Horny Cooney? Yeah, the great White
- 1:07:17Speaker 10: Hope Jerry Cooney.
- 1:07:19Speaker 14: Yeah.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: I mean, I don't think this is a great White
- 1:07:20Speaker 4: Hope situation. It's just a well that's what the Brianna
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: Stewart has won a couple.
- 1:07:28Speaker 10: Of out But see, but hey, look like I said,
- 1:07:31Speaker 10: I'm a page book Buker fan, I'm a downa to rock.
- 1:07:34Speaker 10: I'm a w NBA fan. I have no problem with
- 1:07:38Speaker 10: what then why do you have a problem with Caitlyn Clark?
- 1:07:40Speaker 10: And don't say you don't. If you're gonna say you don't,
- 1:07:44Speaker 10: then just don't comment. Just raise your right hand and
- 1:07:47Speaker 10: I'll move on to another subject. But you not tell
- 1:07:49Speaker 10: me no.
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: The next word out of your mouth needs to be
- 1:07:53Speaker 4: you don't. Don't do that today. I don't feel like
- 1:07:56Speaker 4: that going into the fourth. I don't feel like that
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: old shucking and jiving getting around and you're trying to
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: like you you just name people, but you don't like
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: this girl for what.
- 1:08:09Speaker 9: She told you.
- 1:08:10Speaker 3: The other shit ain't as she been billed, because why
- 1:08:13Speaker 3: what you mean?
- 1:08:14Speaker 7: I'm just saying.
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: She's now in college, the competition has went up, she's
- 1:08:19Speaker 10: getting hit. It's a little bit physical more. Everybody say,
- 1:08:23Speaker 10: oh man, you shouldn't be touching her dog. She's it's
- 1:08:26Speaker 10: all the same. She's got to play ball. That's all
- 1:08:28Speaker 10: I'm saying. Stop all the wine.
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: No no, no, you didn't answer. You did the shucking and driving.
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: She's not hold on Greg because the sports Shock has
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: lost his patience as he's gotten older, and he's lost
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: his patience with friends and family. I sit alone more
- 1:08:48Speaker 4: than I used to have friends because I can't stand,
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: tolerate or invite people that shucking jive me anymore. I
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: asked him, I'm a question. He did not answer it.
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: So it's hard for me to communicate with people that
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: do that because I'm willing to listen to you, but
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: I'm not willing to listen to you. Avert the question.
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: I told you she's in the league.
- 1:09:21Speaker 10: Now, she is playing competition, she's getting hit, she's taking
- 1:09:26Speaker 10: some letters.
- 1:09:27Speaker 9: Answer to my question, he just said she's averaging twenty
- 1:09:29Speaker 9: one point said now is that she not playing ball?
- 1:09:32Speaker 9: She's playing ball?
- 1:09:34Speaker 7: So why don't you like her? Like her?
- 1:09:39Speaker 9: I can choose to like who I want to as
- 1:09:40Speaker 9: a fan. Then why don't you don't like her? Because
- 1:09:42Speaker 9: because of what? That's the course that I don't choose
- 1:09:45Speaker 9: to like her as a player.
- 1:09:46Speaker 10: I liked her sister, the whole college thing from LSU
- 1:09:50Speaker 10: gets South Carolina and all that. So it's a personal. No,
- 1:09:53Speaker 10: it's not personal, but it's not the game. I don't
- 1:09:57Speaker 10: like her as a player. I don't know about the
- 1:10:01Speaker 10: young lad, So you don't like her game? No, I
- 1:10:04Speaker 10: think Paige Buker's game better than hers. But I just okay,
- 1:10:08Speaker 10: it don't matter about the STADI. So you're you're more
- 1:10:11Speaker 10: of a style. You based people game on the style,
- 1:10:18Speaker 10: not the effectiveness. Paige Buker effects, I mean she has
- 1:10:22Speaker 10: effects on Uh, she effected is there in the game,
- 1:10:26Speaker 10: just like Caitlyn with her team. But as I stated before,
- 1:10:29Speaker 10: Caitlyn is she's.
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: So it was a personal thing because you went back
- 1:10:33Speaker 4: to the L s U. And since your team Angel Reese,
- 1:10:37Speaker 4: then you have to be anti Carolina. You said LSU.
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: You did not say South. I did say South. I
- 1:10:43Speaker 4: did I know he said l s U, LSU South
- 1:10:46Speaker 4: Carolina the two teams because you was Don Staley. So
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: you're racist, like Big Kenny said, And don't say you
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: are not racist because you like white women. You are
- 1:10:59Speaker 4: a racist. You're just selected with it. You like white women,
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: so you think you're not. But then every other conversation
- 1:11:08Speaker 4: we have you are so okay. It's not about her game,
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: it's about your personal what you don't like. And I
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: guess that's it.
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: And the thing is we have allowed.
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: I voted for my mom's banana pudding because she's my
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: mom and not because it's better because it's pretty George,
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: it was pretty trash.
- 1:11:37Speaker 7: But put yours down. I put yours down.
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: That's what you don't need. And you don't need that
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: in a courtroom. You don't need that in any kind
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: of judge and competition.
- 1:11:46Speaker 9: Hey, everybody else, do it.
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: We'll be back Sports show right out this.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: Don't Go Away, or of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Wayne Gandias dumbing up next.
- 1:12:15Speaker 6: I actually dropped better when I'm high. If anything, I'm
- 1:12:18Speaker 6: more careful.
- 1:12:19Speaker 19: That's probably what the driver who killed a four year
- 1:12:21Speaker 19: old told himself, and now he's in prison. If you

- 1:14:55Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying. I didn't know that's what
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: we was doing. But put me on game. What is facts?
- 1:14:59Speaker 9: Just like either the bubble like oh, they're going to
- 1:15:02Speaker 9: say something and then it goes away.
- 1:15:04Speaker 4: Because when you fight with someone over text oh oh
- 1:15:10Speaker 4: uh fighting over texts? Yeah okay, yeah yeah, not known
- 1:15:20Speaker 4: for that.
- 1:15:21Speaker 10: I mean, I mean, I guess what with texting? You
- 1:15:24Speaker 10: don't know if you argue with some people, sometimes a
- 1:15:26Speaker 10: lot of times someone can say something and you could
- 1:15:28Speaker 10: take it the wrong way.
- 1:15:29Speaker 9: They didn't mean it like that, because no.
- 1:15:31Speaker 3: I'm too direct for that. You know, we faxed it

- 1:17:17Speaker 4: thirty one post. I looked at it easily to be
- 1:17:20Speaker 4: forty four. Did you get thirty one when you thought
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: about posts?
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: I'm living like a rock star. That's that's what the
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: rock star like.

- 1:17:35Speaker 9: fifteen years every tour.
- 1:17:37Speaker 4: Post Malone thirty one years old. I'm wonder does he

- 1:19:08Speaker 7: Started claiming his keyaing his kids, he could have it.
- 1:19:12Speaker 3: When we got to talk about it, you could have
- 1:19:13Speaker 3: a twenty three years You're gonna have to just just
- 1:19:16Speaker 3: at least part of a comment.
- 1:19:18Speaker 7: That's part of why he left Okahoma coming about.
- 1:19:26Speaker 4: But no one has the right to harass you, Livy
- 1:19:31Speaker 4: at all. I'm completely on you. I would find these
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: people and the extent of the law. But it's unreasonable
- 1:19:41Speaker 4: to convince yourself that showing yourself and making yourself come
- 1:19:49Speaker 4: off as a pin up girl something too sexualize does
- 1:19:55Speaker 4: not feed into that percentage of may and females. That
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: would be just that percentage. So whatever percentage of male
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: and females that you know you could find if fifteen
- 1:20:14Speaker 4: percent of the population is that way you're feeding into.
- 1:20:18Speaker 4: And as I said, make sure I got this, I'm
- 1:20:20Speaker 4: not blaming you. You're not wrong, but you can feed
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: into creating storms that also can motivate people to do things.
- 1:20:35Speaker 4: And how you have displayed and that might not be
- 1:20:37Speaker 4: that might not have really been your intent. It was
- 1:20:41Speaker 4: how you was getting your hustle going. And a lot
- 1:20:44Speaker 4: of people have used it, but you can't. Hopefully you
- 1:20:48Speaker 4: haven't convinced yourself this is not something I put out there.
- 1:20:51Speaker 4: And we've seen a lot of women, especially come back
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: and really regret that that's all.
- 1:20:58Speaker 7: They're known for.
- 1:21:00Speaker 4: Or people, you know, they thought they were going to
- 1:21:01Speaker 4: go through that eye of the storm and then get
- 1:21:04Speaker 4: to and then they talk about the type casting and
- 1:21:08Speaker 4: things like that that, oh, they only wanted me to
- 1:21:11Speaker 4: be in the movie, to be like this, someone like
- 1:21:14Speaker 4: the great Sharon Stone found herself there to where after
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: she did the little what was that movie, everything started
- 1:21:26Speaker 4: becoming more of a role of her being willing to
- 1:21:29Speaker 4: do nudity or seen as that and not as a
- 1:21:32Speaker 4: serious She wasn't going to get the bomb woman living
- 1:21:37Speaker 4: on the street roll right kind of. You know, someone
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: like a Charlie Steering with a lot of time defunking
- 1:21:45Speaker 4: that look of her where she when she did that
- 1:21:48Speaker 4: monster movie and she gained the weight and you know,
- 1:21:52Speaker 4: trying to get you not to just see her as
- 1:21:55Speaker 4: something to But that's what I would tell Livy, like, Okay,
- 1:21:58Speaker 4: so let's make the pepperret. Let's make sure we always
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: think because we have created at least now in our
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: life young life, and a lot of women are doing
- 1:22:06Speaker 4: the only fans models. I'm quite sure all those people
- 1:22:09Speaker 4: that are doing that are experienced this kind of because
- 1:22:13Speaker 4: you're putting it out there to see me that and
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: why do why do we why do we pretend like.
- 1:22:21Speaker 7: One thing doesn't follow the other.
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: You present yourself on social media as the best hands.
- 1:22:27Speaker 4: In us, as I said, but she's young, Yeah, so
- 1:22:29Speaker 4: she would be a little more of vanilla and not
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: understand that that part of especially men is already out there.
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: They don't need much, no just you being alive for
- 1:22:43Speaker 4: some men. But then you promote it and in that
- 1:22:48Speaker 4: promoting that man in his crazy mind, which we found
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: out a lot of people crazy. He takes that as
- 1:22:54Speaker 4: an invitation. He takes you putting that out there as
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: an invitation to gawk. And you wanted me to come
- 1:23:01Speaker 4: over here, man, she'd yeah. Man, they be liking that.
- 1:23:06Speaker 7: They wanted you, because if you didn't, you wouldn't have
- 1:23:08Speaker 7: put that member he was on the Sports Illustrated.
- 1:23:13Speaker 9: You know.
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: It's just one of those things. That's why I would
- 1:23:16Speaker 4: give her that advice, like, well, let's make preparation. If
- 1:23:18Speaker 4: you're gonna go through the airport.
- 1:23:19Speaker 9: You might want to call.
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: It's not your fault, but this is some of what
- 1:23:23Speaker 4: you put out there. We did do this. You don't
- 1:23:26Speaker 4: go to the bad parts of the city and have
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: your jury sparking and then wonder why somebody robbed. No,
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: it's not right as you got robbed, but you ignited
- 1:23:38Speaker 4: some people's moment of today. I'm gonna change my situation. Ah,
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: I'm gonna change my situation that if you that same trip,
- 1:23:50Speaker 4: if you had taken it not like that, it wouldn't
- 1:23:54Speaker 4: have sparked that in him. We'll be back more on
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: Sports Job Show right after this.
- 1:24:10Speaker 9: Don't go Awayne.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: More of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gantidias coming
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: up next.
- 1:24:15Speaker 9: Hurting the game.
- 1:24:17Speaker 34: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on feeling down.
- 1:24:23Speaker 34: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps. But there are
- 1:24:26Speaker 34: times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
- 1:24:30Speaker 34: and we need to talk to someone about what we're
- 1:24:32Speaker 34: really going through. So we're going to reach out because
- 1:24:35Speaker 34: sometimes mental health is not a one person job. Visit

- 1:24:45Speaker 20: All right, son, time to put out this campfire.
- 1:24:48Speaker 9: God, we learned about this in school.
- 1:24:50Speaker 20: Oh did you now? Okay, what's first?
- 1:24:52Speaker 35: Smokey Bear said, too, first, drown it with the bucket
- 1:24:55Speaker 35: of water, then stir it with a shovel.
- 1:24:57Speaker 20: Wow, you sound just like him.
- 1:25:00Speaker 9: Then he said, if it's still warm, then do it again.
- 1:25:03Speaker 20: Where can I learn all this?
- 1:25:05Speaker 35: It's all on smokeybear dot com with other wildfire prevention tips,

- 1:25:23Speaker 21: to hear?
- 1:25:24Speaker 33: I feel sometimes that I'm not listening to I would
- 1:25:27Speaker 33: just want you to listen to me more often and
- 1:25:29Speaker 33: evaluate situations with me and lead me towards success.
- 1:25:34Speaker 36: We're not adults, so just just be there and like, listen.
- 1:25:39Speaker 36: I just want someone to have to and I just
- 1:25:41Speaker 36: feel like I'll be fine. Like if someone just cares
- 1:25:44Speaker 36: me talk and talk and talk and.
- 1:25:45Speaker 7: Talk and talk and talk and talk.
- 1:25:47Speaker 33: You're doing a really good y'all. And I don't think
- 1:25:50Speaker 33: that I don't know, and I know sometimes we get
- 1:25:52Speaker 33: into it. It's just hard on both of us. But
- 1:25:58Speaker 33: I'm trying to understand me more and I'll try to
- 1:26:00Speaker 33: do the same.
- 1:26:02Speaker 6: Listening is a form of love.

- 1:26:17Speaker 9: And now back to the Sports John Wayne.
- 1:26:20Speaker 32: Gandy Player's Lounge. I'm gonna have been given full access
- 1:26:28Speaker 32: to the players lounge on the Sports Jack Show with
- 1:26:31Speaker 32: Wayne Gandy.
- 1:26:57Speaker 9: Here it is welk back to the show Shock Queen
- 1:27:00Speaker 9: can t.
- 1:27:01Speaker 4: Brendan Soresby has decided he won't sue the NFL. I
- 1:27:06Speaker 4: didn't actually understand what your case would have been. This
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: is Brendan Soresby, young man found to have been gambling
- 1:27:14Speaker 4: on games that he was participating in, and the leagues,
- 1:27:20Speaker 4: the CFL, the NFL. The NFL got rid of supplemental
- 1:27:23Speaker 4: draft so that he could not join or try to
- 1:27:27Speaker 4: be chosen this year to play. There was a slight
- 1:27:32Speaker 4: window where people were talking about suing, but the NFL.
- 1:27:38Speaker 4: He has decided that might not bold well going forward
- 1:27:45Speaker 4: suing someone and then asking them for a job.
- 1:27:49Speaker 9: You know, I don't count access those gambling records. They
- 1:27:56Speaker 9: don't have access to that. Sure, what are you talking about?
- 1:28:02Speaker 4: The senator, the Senator from New Hampshire sitting in the
- 1:28:06Speaker 4: he's on the board of the Appropriation committee for gambling.
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: That's not fair. That's wait, that's not gonna help me
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: within How we do that in America? I mean, how
- 1:28:20Speaker 3: we do that? Look, man, y'all know I got this
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: little gambling problem with sports and the teams I play for.
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: But y'all gone, I'm a force shout to let me.
- 1:28:30Speaker 3: And I'm a force shower to let the fox into
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: the hen house. I mean, I'm a sue for the
- 1:28:36Speaker 3: fox to be let into the hen house. Why are
- 1:28:39Speaker 3: we even willing to bring stuff like that?
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: Because in the one hundred years of the NFL and
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: a lot of sports, uh, for some reason, people see
- 1:28:47Speaker 4: the sports organization as I said, they're disconnected and most
- 1:28:51Speaker 4: people's last idea of a federation of sports comes from
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: high school. And on the high school level, things have
- 1:29:00Speaker 4: to be fair. They forget that when you get the
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: pro These are companies, mostly private owned companies that don't
- 1:29:08Speaker 4: have to be but they look for that same everybody
- 1:29:13Speaker 4: should be able to participate, agree of equity.
- 1:29:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:29:15Speaker 4: So in this case, I think the smart move with
- 1:29:18Speaker 4: sores By is to try to go out, show more years,
- 1:29:23Speaker 4: show another year that you were in the program. Try
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: to but I won't be surprised if none of these
- 1:29:29Speaker 4: leagues ever allow you to play, because that is a
- 1:29:34Speaker 4: hard because all they're looking for, all they are knowing
- 1:29:38Speaker 4: is that I actually would have put the person in
- 1:29:43Speaker 4: a position to do the same thing I knew they
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: were guilty of. And most companies won't hire you if
- 1:29:53Speaker 4: you have a record of something they are doing. The
- 1:29:59Speaker 4: bank doesn't hire the bank robber to be a teller.
- 1:30:04Speaker 7: The ambezslor right, the ambezzler doesn't. We can hang to
- 1:30:07Speaker 7: be the yard guy or somebody to come maybe or something.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: And these ain't allegation. These are allation. You in treatment
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: right now you cannot touch the cash.
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: Red sad news coming here about a mile away. Calias Campbell,
- 1:30:23Speaker 4: eighteen year NFL VET. His brother has been charged with
- 1:30:28Speaker 4: the murder of their mom. From the story I read,
- 1:30:32Speaker 4: the brother was still in the home barricaded in when
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: officers were called out. So Elias Campbell, who looks like
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: he was trying to get another year, how this will
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: work out for him? A long time stellar defensive tackle,
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: big fellow to just have had the blessing of being
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: able to stay injury free long enough to compile an
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: amazing career seventy one years old.
- 1:30:59Speaker 9: Was his mom and.
- 1:31:03Speaker 4: Just so many factors, that unthinkable factors being it that
- 1:31:10Speaker 4: it's your mother and your brother and that happened. So
- 1:31:16Speaker 4: all you can do is send your love and condolences
- 1:31:18Speaker 4: out to Colias in this situation. Terry and Arnold, the
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: dB from Alabama that was with the Lions going into
- 1:31:27Speaker 4: his third year. He was released. We talked about him
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: thoroughly last week on a million dollar bond. About an
- 1:31:35Speaker 4: hour later, the Lions cut him. He had two more
- 1:31:38Speaker 4: years on his deal. They let him go. He is
- 1:31:43Speaker 4: in bigger waters trying to get out of this case.
- 1:31:47Speaker 4: A million dollar bond. We talked about all the evidence. Yes,
- 1:31:50Speaker 4: the people that he let go confessing that he was
- 1:31:54Speaker 4: the ringleader. The young ladies that he used to were
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: those guys testifying that he was the ring leader. So
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: I don't know where he was in. I know he's
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: facing some heavy charges from kidnapping. I fell in the
- 1:32:16Speaker 4: assault easily could end up with twenty years behind bars
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: for twenty twenty five years for this. So he has
- 1:32:26Speaker 4: Biggie's only twenty.
- 1:32:27Speaker 7: Three robbery, didn't they They robbed as.
- 1:32:30Speaker 4: Well, And we're talking about three people, so all those
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: counts are charged against three.
- 1:32:38Speaker 7: And then and then and then you weren't there, so
- 1:32:41Speaker 7: they hitting you with the mastermind.
- 1:32:43Speaker 4: And I saw that o Cho Senko was trying to,
- 1:32:47Speaker 4: you know, talk about the Golden Goose and how his
- 1:32:50Speaker 4: friends let him down. And I'm oho you if he's
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: the mastermind, you're trying to say the friends was supposed
- 1:32:57Speaker 4: to stop him. Everybody always say as that. I remember
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: when my former teammate Mike Vig got in trouble, Oh man,
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: the guy should have done this, and that these people
- 1:33:11Speaker 4: are not in no full brotherhood. They're not in some
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: kind of it's not the whatever the bloods and these
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: people are just out here. They're gonna opportunists. They're gonna
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: take advantage of the opportunity. That's why we going to college,
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: we getting drafted to the rams. We now only one
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: person has done all this, but it's always a we.
- 1:33:41Speaker 4: And in this climate, now, you know, that's the one
- 1:33:44Speaker 4: thing that even somebody like a Kaitlyn Clark, those things
- 1:33:49Speaker 4: like that is what I love about Kaitlyn Clark.
- 1:33:53Speaker 7: There isn't a we slogan.
- 1:33:56Speaker 4: Do she dates? Doesn't we meet who her mom and
- 1:33:59Speaker 4: dad doesn't weave me. They don't have no TV show
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: coming out, They ain't wrote twenty two Miles to Indiana.
- 1:34:08Speaker 7: Book or nothing. Now that she's in the fever, you
- 1:34:12Speaker 7: don't even really they weren't even paying the camera round
- 1:34:16Speaker 7: tru like you don't know.
- 1:34:18Speaker 9: There ain't nobody to cooking on the Born TV show
- 1:34:22Speaker 9: today We've got recipes from Caitlin Clark's mom. They're back
- 1:34:25Speaker 9: in Iowa. They're not at the game. Yeah, that's what
- 1:34:27Speaker 9: I'm saying.
- 1:34:28Speaker 7: There.
- 1:34:29Speaker 4: It is, and rarely the superstars at this level now
- 1:34:33Speaker 4: be able to exist. Usually you have the Patrick Mahomes
- 1:34:36Speaker 4: situation where the brother is out here, or somebody's trying
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: to promote their album through their brother's success, right, you know,
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: or sister's success will in this situation, who is this.
- 1:34:51Speaker 9: Out? But I just said Burrilla the rapper guerrilla her sister.
- 1:34:56Speaker 7: Oh she has a sister. Yeah, who had come at her?
- 1:34:59Speaker 9: She's a rapper?
- 1:35:00Speaker 7: No, she want to be and was basically saying, you know, basically, Glow, really.
- 1:35:04Speaker 9: You not who you are.
- 1:35:07Speaker 7: You ought to be doing more for me, doing more.
- 1:35:10Speaker 7: You ought to be doing more. You be doing like you.
- 1:35:14Speaker 7: We ought to all be in Lamborghini.
- 1:35:17Speaker 9: My mama, my mama still working it fit is Oh okay,
- 1:35:20Speaker 9: see so that's.
- 1:35:24Speaker 7: Uh so Ocho was saying the Golden goose and that
- 1:35:26Speaker 7: sounds but listen, guys, you get it.
- 1:35:28Speaker 4: Ladies, you make it. You have to take charge of
- 1:35:34Speaker 4: your career, of your life. You got to set down
- 1:35:37Speaker 4: the rules. Most people, most friends, at least early on,
- 1:35:42Speaker 4: are going to be like Terrian arenot. They're gonna want to,
- 1:35:44Speaker 4: like Big Kenny said, feed into the idea that I'm
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: going to find a position to help you, right or wrong,
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: prove my worth.
- 1:35:56Speaker 7: Mm hmm.
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: And that's how all this are. I'm to help you know,
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: they were trying to help the golden goose. You're you're
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: thinking they're supposed to offer leadership. If they was leading,
- 1:36:07Speaker 4: if they had leadership, then most likely they wouldn't be
- 1:36:10Speaker 4: seeing you as a golden goose.
- 1:36:13Speaker 9: Because think about it.
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: Think about life, and when we talk about there's what
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: people say and then there's what I hear when you
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: say golden goose. Think about the the history. Think about
- 1:36:26Speaker 3: the life of a goose. It's born to be plucked
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: and consumed. You see what I'm saying. A golden goose
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: is something you take advantage of. It's there for your enrichment.
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: You're not trying to.
- 1:36:41Speaker 9: Move me forward.
- 1:36:42Speaker 7: You're not trying to open the gate and let me
- 1:36:44Speaker 7: be free.
- 1:36:45Speaker 3: You want to just hold me captives so you can
- 1:36:47Speaker 3: benefit off me as much as you possibly can. So
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: I think it's just weird that both would not only
- 1:36:55Speaker 3: put themselves in that position, but allow themselves to drag
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: other people into it.
- 1:37:00Speaker 4: And when we come back for break, we'll touch on
- 1:37:03Speaker 4: Chris Johnson, the great running bag l That's just how
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: we are as a country. Dan Lambertard not satisfied with
- 1:37:11Speaker 4: the interview of Michael Strahan. It's so interesting in our
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: society like we act like people have some obligation to
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: fulfill us. That just confuses me. There's this board that
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: I'm of standards that I'm supposed to live up to.
- 1:37:37Speaker 4: For you, You've one just satisfied and enthralled in that
- 1:37:43Speaker 4: Chris Johnson was talking about his als. You needed to
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: be in depth. We'll be back more to Sports Jock
- 1:37:53Speaker 4: Show right after this.
- 1:38:01Speaker 7: Yeah, don't go away, or of the.
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dantidius coming up next.

- 1:41:18Speaker 2: Say you can see the sports jaint I'll sing even Jenny, welcome.
- 1:41:24Speaker 4: Back to this sports shots Shaw, the sports shot Wing Candy,
- 1:41:28Speaker 4: good morning to you. Earlier in the week, Chris Johnson,
- 1:41:31Speaker 4: the great Tennessee Titan running back, also played a year
- 1:41:35Speaker 4: or two for.
- 1:41:35Speaker 8: The j T S Jets, Jets Jets.
- 1:41:38Speaker 4: Announcing that he has a l S, a very aggressive
- 1:41:43Speaker 4: form of als on the standard of Unfortunately, the recently
- 1:41:50Speaker 4: deceased Eric Dane. You might remember him from Gray's Anatomy
- 1:41:54Speaker 4: and The Last Ship, where it was like one day
- 1:42:00Speaker 4: Eric Daines said he had LLS, and about eighteen months
- 1:42:03Speaker 4: later he had passed away from the same thing looks
- 1:42:07Speaker 4: like with Chris Johnson, who said that a year ago
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: he was picking his daughter up and now he is
- 1:42:13Speaker 4: will bound, wheelchair bound. Michael straight Hand broke the story
- 1:42:18Speaker 4: for Good Morning America and the people like Dan Lea
- 1:42:25Speaker 4: the Boitard, and you have to take this with a
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: grain of salt, because we're in such a media frenzy
- 1:42:31Speaker 4: of people saying provocative things to garner their own attention,
- 1:42:36Speaker 4: So you don't know what they're saying is true or not,
- 1:42:41Speaker 4: but you get enough of it to realize that people
- 1:42:43Speaker 4: think that way in this country. That Michael Strahan skirted
- 1:42:48Speaker 4: away from asking Chris Johnson about the NFL's playing football
- 1:42:56Speaker 4: component of the interview, now, I don't know what Good
- 1:43:01Speaker 4: Morning America. I don't know what Chris Johnson and his
- 1:43:03Speaker 4: wife may have discussed with Michael straighthand the two or
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: three questions that I did hear with straight hand, he
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: gave them the floor to lay this at the feat
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: of anybody. When he asked, what would you like to say, Chris?
- 1:43:22Speaker 4: He opened the floor that Chris could have taken whatever
- 1:43:28Speaker 4: he wanted, and those were you want him to specifically
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: take an interview about something that might have been touching
- 1:43:39Speaker 4: Michael Straighthand one thing the difference is an athlete is
- 1:43:43Speaker 4: going to have more compassion for another athlete more than
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: a regular reporter. So I would imagine that's why I'm
- 1:43:51Speaker 4: not going to try to pin you in a corner, Chris.
- 1:44:00Speaker 4: I said, what if that's how you see it, I
- 1:44:01Speaker 4: want you to organically put it on what you might
- 1:44:06Speaker 4: have felt contributed. But I'm not going to you know,
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: like they said, what is they say in the court
- 1:44:12Speaker 4: when leading the witness. I'm not going to lead the witness.
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: I'm just gonna put it out there beginning command you
- 1:44:18Speaker 4: grey bad producer here Basically he asked his questions, and
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: here's the floor opened. Now if you want to go
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: down the NFL the shield road, go at it. What
- 1:44:30Speaker 4: would you like the people to know? Why are you
- 1:44:33Speaker 4: disclosing this to them? Because Michael Stream, isn't that the question?
- 1:44:37Speaker 10: Because he still works for Fox NFL, he still has
- 1:44:41Speaker 10: to be unbiased.
- 1:44:43Speaker 9: He has to leave it open like that. So I
- 1:44:45Speaker 9: understand why, but.
- 1:44:46Speaker 4: But not just bad And that's a great point, bad producer,
- 1:44:48Speaker 4: but not just that for me. I don't want to
- 1:44:53Speaker 4: speak for you. That's good reporting. I thought that's how
- 1:44:56Speaker 4: the reporter. I'm gonna just put you in. You can
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: tell this. But if I start bringing up now, I'm
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: gonna make it Because what do we do here in
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: the media. We decide what part of it angles, angles
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: that we're going to use and try to nail it
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: on there.
- 1:45:14Speaker 9: That's what that's how it looks. It's because not only
- 1:45:17Speaker 9: Dan Levatard, who is a journalist sports writer, radio host
- 1:45:25Speaker 9: Jeff Perlman, another long time sports writer, had the same
- 1:45:31Speaker 9: perspective that straight Hand should have done more or there
- 1:45:37Speaker 9: or you know, there is this connection between playing in
- 1:45:40Speaker 9: the NFL and ALS. So do you think it's the
- 1:45:48Speaker 9: the difference of perspective from like someone who wasn't playing
- 1:45:53Speaker 9: the people who write about the game versus someone like
- 1:45:56Speaker 9: straight Hand who played and had some kind of relationship
- 1:46:01Speaker 9: with with Chris Johnson, do you think that affected the
- 1:46:07Speaker 9: like how it looked. I mean, like, I've only seen
- 1:46:09Speaker 9: these two guys call this out. I haven't really thought
- 1:46:13Speaker 9: of the connection between playing in als and they're saying
- 1:46:18Speaker 9: that it is. But just because it wasn't mentioned, that
- 1:46:21Speaker 9: doesn't mean it may not be true. But it's not
- 1:46:24Speaker 9: something that's really like discussed. From nineteen don't know, from
- 1:46:28Speaker 9: nineteen sixty on to twenty twenty, which is sixty years
- 1:46:34Speaker 9: up until this Chris Johnson, there have been thirty eight
- 1:46:37Speaker 9: documented cases of former football player.
- 1:46:43Speaker 4: Having ALS. I would imagine football, boxing, soccer, rugby, hockey,
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: any sport where you can experience. Consistent concussions can be
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: sports that put you in more of a situation for als.
- 1:47:07Speaker 4: But that's thirty eight people in a sixty year frame.
- 1:47:13Speaker 4: The data doesn't They don't, They can't. I don't think
- 1:47:16Speaker 4: that pool is too small of a sample to be
- 1:47:20Speaker 4: able to label something. I thought that maybe, as I said,
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: Chris Johnson and his wife, we don't know what they discussed.
- 1:47:31Speaker 4: We want to keep it on als. I know I
- 1:47:34Speaker 4: played with Steve Gleason. We did the water Bucket Challenge, Yes,
- 1:47:37Speaker 4: we did. I played Steve Leason played six years. I
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: played three of them with him. None of his journey
- 1:47:47Speaker 4: was ever about trying to hold the NFL hostage. Yeah,
- 1:47:53Speaker 4: You've never ever had that from him. Nothing about how
- 1:47:56Speaker 4: his journey of what he's been trying to convey and
- 1:47:58Speaker 4: get research to be better. He has been where he's
- 1:48:02Speaker 4: been trying to nail the NFL on some kind of
- 1:48:07Speaker 4: cross for what he's going through.
- 1:48:10Speaker 10: Well, Dan Levatar and Jeff Pearlman are known for attempting
- 1:48:15Speaker 10: to attempting to attack the NFL and other leagues. I mean,
- 1:48:20Speaker 10: Peerlman is Dan Lebatar, He's, like I said, he's a
- 1:48:23Speaker 10: writer shot shot for treatment Pearlman's up. He's wrote several
- 1:48:27Speaker 10: books and it's more like smut, like you know, like
- 1:48:30Speaker 10: someone just in the comment. But he has written some
- 1:48:32Speaker 10: books that are there's an edgy and he's for him
- 1:48:37Speaker 10: to come out and want Michael Straham him and Dan Levatar.
- 1:48:41Speaker 9: Yeah, I wouldn't those two. I would expect that from them.
- 1:48:45Speaker 3: Why why can't they just be guilty of being journalists
- 1:48:48Speaker 3: that this is a story that they feel like will
- 1:48:50Speaker 3: drive some clicks.
- 1:48:51Speaker 7: And this is content with prior als stories.
- 1:48:55Speaker 10: No, I'm saying, so why you why you want to
- 1:48:57Speaker 10: pounce on Michael Straham on because because you name me
- 1:49:02Speaker 10: a bigger connection to als and football than Hall of
- 1:49:07Speaker 10: Famer Michael Strahan who's now a sports broadcaster and a
- 1:49:14Speaker 10: morning news show journalist.
- 1:49:16Speaker 3: Sitting across from is Chris Johnson, a future Hall of Fame?
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: Is he in the Hall of Fame now? But he
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: asks the right now questions? But did you just ask
- 1:49:24Speaker 3: the question the way you wanted to listen? My point
- 1:49:27Speaker 3: is they're they upset because they didn't get a chance,
- 1:49:35Speaker 3: and that what I would have said, And that's media too.
- 1:49:39Speaker 3: Everybody want to jump in and offer they little two
- 1:49:42Speaker 3: cent they want to be part of the conversation, and
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: that's all they ain't no ain't no hate on Michael Strahan.
- 1:49:49Speaker 3: It might have been anybody with that interview. You didn't
- 1:49:52Speaker 3: ask the million dollar drive this story for two weeks question.
- 1:49:57Speaker 4: And since we live in this country where we always
- 1:50:01Speaker 4: start and want to label some fault, you ever get
- 1:50:05Speaker 4: that we always it's never about what's going on, it's about.
- 1:50:11Speaker 9: Who's fault or sometimes these things happen. We'll be back
- 1:50:16Speaker 9: more to Sports Jock Show read after.
- 1:50:17Speaker 1: This they've all let go, don't go away board of
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gambidia's coming up next.
- 1:50:35Speaker 11: And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three
- 1:50:38Speaker 11: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:50:42Speaker 11: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:50:45Speaker 11: life insurance.
- 1:50:46Speaker 39: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:50:48Speaker 39: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:50:50Speaker 39: forever life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:50:53Speaker 7: What about you?
- 1:50:54Speaker 9: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:50:56Speaker 39: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:50:58Speaker 39: bills piling up, I was worried how my fan only
- 1:51:00Speaker 39: will survive without me. That's what I'm made an appointment
- 1:51:02Speaker 39: with the insurance informants.
- 1:51:03Speaker 11: Information gives you power and life insurance gives your family
- 1:51:06Speaker 11: security no matter what stage.
- 1:51:08Speaker 7: Of life you're in.
- 1:51:09Speaker 39: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 1:51:11Speaker 39: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:51:13Speaker 11: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:51:15Speaker 11: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 1:51:18Speaker 11: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:51:20Speaker 11: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:51:24Speaker 11: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:51:29Speaker 11: Log on today benefits orbills dot Com. That's benefits orbills
- 1:51:33Speaker 11: dot Com.
- 1:51:37Speaker 7: And now back to the sports Job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:51:42Speaker 40: Now it's time put a school board where we put
- 1:51:46Speaker 40: a spin on life and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:51:50Speaker 40: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:10Speaker 7: Just then it's welcome back to the Sports Shock Shaw.
- 1:52:13Speaker 4: I'm the sport Shock Wayne can d Nationals picture k
- 1:52:17Speaker 4: Cavali apologizing on Wednesday for shouting sit down boy when
- 1:52:24Speaker 4: he shruck out Red Sox first baseman Wilson Contrerist. Guys
- 1:52:30Speaker 4: just killed me because it's so funny. How I keep
- 1:52:34Speaker 4: telling you the media is. It's just I'm hoping we
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: can like stop at this point, go back just a
- 1:52:40Speaker 4: little bit and then stay there, stop doing what Dan
- 1:52:44Speaker 4: labretart and then want you to do and adding an angle,
- 1:52:49Speaker 4: because that's all this is immedia for you to have
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: decided that Kate Cavali actions all was racially motivated.
- 1:53:02Speaker 7: It's three two.
- 1:53:06Speaker 9: I threw that.
- 1:53:09Speaker 4: Breaking ball with it dripped across the corner on pis said,
- 1:53:21Speaker 4: sit down, boy, sit down, can't hit that dump, I said, man.
- 1:53:30Speaker 3: Because when it came off my hand, the umpire said,
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: oh he got you, all right, he got you with
- 1:53:39Speaker 3: this look you might take a swing at that one, pimp.
- 1:53:42Speaker 3: And you watched it and sit down, and he went
- 1:53:45Speaker 3: go side and he was shu up. But and you
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: what you called me clout, That's what I called you.
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: That's what I called you player, That's what I called that.
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: All it really meant was you out and now you
- 1:53:59Speaker 3: and your feelings because you watched it and told you, oh,
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: he got you, might as well take a swing at
- 1:54:05Speaker 3: that one.
- 1:54:05Speaker 7: Don't let him two three to like I wasn't gonna
- 1:54:11Speaker 7: do it.
- 1:54:12Speaker 3: Sit down, I am, I am referencing now. I was
- 1:54:15Speaker 3: just your daddy, hold on, sports Jockney, hold on what.
- 1:54:19Speaker 7: He's telling him? What you really just I'm your daddy, boy,
- 1:54:22Speaker 7: I'm out here mad that ain't got nothing to do
- 1:54:27Speaker 7: with with that racist and you're mad because K wanted
- 1:54:32Speaker 7: to say, sit down, be up, And that's what I
- 1:54:36Speaker 7: was going to ask you. Three something, man, I say, uh,
- 1:54:42Speaker 7: the B word. I keep telling you how many times
- 1:54:46Speaker 7: I have told you got which B word? But that's
- 1:54:48Speaker 7: what I'm saying.
- 1:54:48Speaker 4: How many times I said, we might need to get
- 1:54:50Speaker 4: a new green book for y'all to pass out so
- 1:54:53Speaker 4: people will be knowing.
- 1:54:54Speaker 9: Which word is the new word?
- 1:54:58Speaker 7: Because you keep moving the need to wherever half the
- 1:55:02Speaker 7: the dictionary is some kind of inflammatory word.
- 1:55:06Speaker 9: When I am trying to let you know, I was
- 1:55:10Speaker 9: just your daddy. Tell your mom plate ready when I
- 1:55:17Speaker 9: get home.
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: Wasn't too bad because we would have said if you said, son, yeah,
- 1:55:22Speaker 4: which word could he say that?
- 1:55:24Speaker 7: That it would have been a racist. It could be
- 1:55:26Speaker 7: because you sonning me?
- 1:55:27Speaker 9: Son?
- 1:55:28Speaker 7: You sonning me now? And even in the article they
- 1:55:35Speaker 7: went on.
- 1:55:36Speaker 4: To describe they went on to describe how boy was
- 1:55:40Speaker 4: a this is they added into the article how the
- 1:55:45Speaker 4: term boy has a racist history in the United States
- 1:55:51Speaker 4: and since Contrarious, who is from Venezuela, was called the boy,
- 1:56:01Speaker 4: that Kate Cavali, who is from must a minute to
- 1:56:09Speaker 4: be a racial turn.
- 1:56:13Speaker 9: So he didn't say boy first, he said go sit down.
- 1:56:17Speaker 40: Boy.
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: If he said boy, go sit down, then this race no, no, no, no,
- 1:56:22Speaker 4: I am trying to belittle you, but not from the
- 1:56:26Speaker 4: races end standpoint, though.
- 1:56:28Speaker 7: That's what I.
- 1:56:30Speaker 9: Because I just served you.
- 1:56:32Speaker 3: I'm screaming from the porch while I hold a sweating
- 1:56:37Speaker 3: glass of lemonade that your mama just brought me fresh
- 1:56:40Speaker 3: out the kitchen, and you're acting up and I'm sitting.
- 1:56:43Speaker 9: Down boy because I'm your daddy.
- 1:56:46Speaker 7: I just hit you with this hot and say it.
- 1:56:53Speaker 3: Won't swing at that one. That's all it was, sit down, boy.
- 1:56:56Speaker 3: I did what I get paid to do. Vanquish my
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: Oh you are a warrior. I am a warrior, and
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: I caught you slipping, and now you mad because I
- 1:57:08Speaker 3: called you boy?
- 1:57:09Speaker 7: Could I have called you son? Could have called you
- 1:57:13Speaker 7: the uh?
- 1:57:15Speaker 9: Is he mad?
- 1:57:16Speaker 4: Could I have called you the h? His apology is
- 1:57:19Speaker 4: just the p R spind Hey, you gotta go tell
- 1:57:23Speaker 4: him sorry. You should have called him up.
- 1:57:27Speaker 33: But what.
- 1:57:29Speaker 10: I just thro my boy, that's what he said. That's
- 1:57:34Speaker 10: my boy goes to down. You gotta say it like that.
- 1:57:39Speaker 7: Why can't he say I struck this mother lover out.
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: Y'all, y'all pay me millions and millions of dollar y'all,
- 1:57:48Speaker 3: y'all pay me millions and millions of dollars to be
- 1:57:51Speaker 3: in moments like that and perform. And when I do,
- 1:57:56Speaker 3: you expect me not to feel like I'm that guy.
- 1:57:59Speaker 3: I'm that I and you, my son, I said, I
- 1:58:03Speaker 3: treated that what I owned you like I own you, daddy.
- 1:58:07Speaker 9: But why also at the same time, though pictures aren't
- 1:58:10Speaker 9: supposed to remember when Aaron Rodgers said, you remember when
- 1:58:14Speaker 9: if it's the third out, they just walked up, Remember them, Ryan?
- 1:58:17Speaker 9: They said?
- 1:58:19Speaker 4: But this is the thing about athletes. I don't know
- 1:58:21Speaker 4: where y'all are getting these ideas that we are programmed
- 1:58:24Speaker 4: robots and just like all of us, we have good
- 1:58:27Speaker 4: days and bad days at work.
- 1:58:31Speaker 9: It goes both ways, whether he's like a robot and
- 1:58:34Speaker 9: just walks off the field or if he uh, if
- 1:58:37Speaker 9: he says, how do we know that I will criticize
- 1:58:42Speaker 9: that player?
- 1:58:42Speaker 4: If I interviewed him and asked him the pitchy through,
- 1:58:46Speaker 4: maybe it was something he worked on and he got
- 1:58:49Speaker 4: it past you, and he's so proud of it that
- 1:58:52Speaker 4: he or you've been up there battling with me and
- 1:58:57Speaker 4: on fiuled all four or five balls. Like there's so
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: many different scenarios that one.
- 1:59:02Speaker 7: I did get it by you.
- 1:59:05Speaker 9: Yeah, now board the game, we s oh, I'm gonna
- 1:59:08Speaker 9: get that.
- 1:59:09Speaker 4: But y'all have limited so many But I can call
- 1:59:11Speaker 4: you the B word or to the butthole word or
- 1:59:14Speaker 4: all these other terms. I could have just added that
- 1:59:16Speaker 4: on there, like when does it stop? Yeah, just you
- 1:59:22Speaker 4: got mad. I struck you out and you charged me
- 1:59:25Speaker 4: and then the medium made a story of it. Is
- 1:59:29Speaker 4: my point, sit down, opposing bat. You ain't the first guy.
- 1:59:32Speaker 4: You ain't the first batter that has decided. He wanted
- 1:59:35Speaker 4: some of the picture for how he just was acting
- 1:59:38Speaker 4: at the mine after the strikeout, all.
- 1:59:41Speaker 7: That disrespectful eighty miles an I was sinker ball.
- 1:59:44Speaker 9: What you're out here doing? Go sit down?
- 1:59:50Speaker 7: Funny story before we get to this. Ocean eer.
- 1:59:52Speaker 4: Reagan Cox, thirty years old, arrested last week down in
- 1:59:56Speaker 4: Brevard County, Lord for resisting arrest after a traffic stopped.
- 2:00:03Speaker 4: They got her down to the station. Uh they checked
- 2:00:07Speaker 4: her lower region and a baggie a cocaine fell out
- 2:00:14Speaker 4: of her lawyer region. She said, somebody else must have
- 2:00:21Speaker 4: put it there, doing who and of course she don't
- 2:00:25Speaker 4: know where?
- 2:00:28Speaker 7: And who is this? A baggy young lady out of Florida, Florida?
- 2:00:34Speaker 7: So why can't we just the gigs up? Is really
- 2:00:38Speaker 7: why I brought back. Why when we're caught, we can't
- 2:00:42Speaker 7: just own.
- 2:00:45Speaker 9: Because there's still a chance, still a chance will get away.
- 2:00:49Speaker 7: Well, I'm saying we didn't all been.
- 2:00:53Speaker 3: So there was over and resisted the rest, and when
- 2:00:56Speaker 3: they take us down to the station, we didn't all
- 2:00:57Speaker 3: been searched, and stuff then fell out of pants?
- 2:01:00Speaker 7: Am I right?
- 2:01:01Speaker 3: No, I'm saying I ain't saying it was inside you.
- 2:01:04Speaker 3: I'm just saying it was in your pants hiding and
- 2:01:07Speaker 3: someone else could have in a moment when you like
- 2:01:11Speaker 3: like at the airport, were you with your bag the
- 2:01:13Speaker 3: whole time? Were you with these pants the whole time?
- 2:01:18Speaker 7: All that's cool, But I'm more on really when I
- 2:01:21Speaker 7: look at these cases, because we talk about it after
- 2:01:24Speaker 7: the show a lot here, why can't we just like
- 2:01:28Speaker 7: you got me?
- 2:01:31Speaker 9: I was doing it.
- 2:01:31Speaker 7: I thought I was gonna get away with it. It
- 2:01:33Speaker 7: almost happened. Why can't it ever just be you got.
- 2:01:36Speaker 9: Me, I got one more card. I always have one
- 2:01:38Speaker 9: more card and.
- 2:01:39Speaker 33: We move on.
- 2:01:40Speaker 7: Why does it continue to have to be some yeah?
- 2:01:43Speaker 7: How come we can't do it like chess?
- 2:01:44Speaker 9: Check make okay?
- 2:01:45Speaker 10: I tried my best food because me getting all the
- 2:01:52Speaker 10: way to the station, there's always one more move. The
- 2:01:58Speaker 10: police do ask you before they take you off the
- 2:02:01Speaker 10: do you got anything else before we take you in
- 2:02:03Speaker 10: this building? Because once you go inside, it's gonna be
- 2:02:06Speaker 10: a different charge. She actually said, oh, who put that
- 2:02:13Speaker 10: baggie there? No, she's saying whoever she just had intercourse
- 2:02:18Speaker 10: with put the baggy. So now I'm arrested and we
- 2:02:23Speaker 10: are in the ocean. The truth is he will throw
- 2:02:28Speaker 10: your in the ocean. It's time to wrap things up
- 2:02:32Speaker 10: on the Sports jun.
- 2:02:33Speaker 7: Show with Wayne Candy.

- 2:03:14Speaker 4: Big Kenny Commanchi, Greg a bad producer. Thank you for
- 2:03:17Speaker 4: your contributions this week. Going into ocean sadly today because
- 2:03:24Speaker 4: I know the young man his dad was part of
- 2:03:26Speaker 4: the twenty ten national championship at Auburn. His son, thirty
- 2:03:35Speaker 4: year old Blaze Taylor, sad story all around. More and
- 2:03:43Speaker 4: more I saw the story. They have found Blaze guilty
- 2:03:47Speaker 4: first degree murder two counts. Decided to poorsing a young
- 2:03:56Speaker 4: lady that was pregnant with his child. And we're not
- 2:04:02Speaker 4: talking about day one of pregnancy. We're talking about five, six,
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: seven months into it, and you put cocaine in their
- 2:04:10Speaker 4: drink and it's just the removal, like we've forgotten that
- 2:04:17Speaker 4: we're removing life.
- 2:04:20Speaker 9: From the earth.
- 2:04:21Speaker 7: It's not.
- 2:04:22Speaker 4: It's not a vampire movie. People aren't getting up and
- 2:04:28Speaker 4: for now thirty years, thirty years old and now facing
- 2:04:38Speaker 4: life imprisonment, it's just sad all around because you made
- 2:04:45Speaker 4: a choice one night to do something that you wasn't
- 2:04:48Speaker 4: willing to embrace so bad that you would remove a
- 2:04:56Speaker 4: mother and her child. And then we see this movie
- 2:05:01Speaker 4: thirty years ago. Great carew.
- 2:05:06Speaker 9: We just can't seem to learn from other's mistake as
- 2:05:11Speaker 9: we should.
- 2:05:12Speaker 4: But Blaze, I'm sorry, young man, I got a chance
- 2:05:15Speaker 4: to call your games, and like knowing your dad, I
- 2:05:18Speaker 4: know he's just broken that one of his two kids
- 2:05:22Speaker 4: now most likely will be in prison for life. So
- 2:05:27Speaker 4: for that, Blade Taylor, fuck the plank. Be safe around
- 2:05:41Speaker 4: the pool, Be safe around the lake. Be safe if
- 2:05:44Speaker 4: you're out at sea. Let's break that record a fewest
- 2:05:50Speaker 4: amounts of casualties, as we are known here in the
- 2:05:53Speaker 4: country to party to the point that somebody gets hurt
- 2:05:57Speaker 4: every Fourth of July. Slee Big Kenny's cousins up in Chicago,
- 2:06:03Speaker 4: y'all get real wild active. What it is about the
