- 0:00Some sad news. Chuck Norris has passed away. He died yesterday at the age of 86.
- 0:06And I thought it would be fitting to share some of the greatest,
- 0:09well-known Chuck Norris jokes.
- 0:12And he owned it. He completely owned that.
- 0:15There are a few people that have that type of just presence that Chuck Norris did.
- 0:21That his name will go down, you know, as the greatest.
- 0:25In so many different areas. He's an actor, martial artist.
- 0:30He worked with Bruce Lee and just the gravity of this man was just insane.
- 0:35But some of the funny jokes I hear, when Chuck Norris does division,
- 0:39there are no remainders.
- 0:40Chuck Norris once kicked a horse in the face. We now call those animals giraffes.
- 0:45Chuck Norris is the only person who can slam a revolving door.
- 0:50Chuck Norris was the first sculptor of Mount Rushmore. He completed the entire
- 0:53project with only a bottle opener and a drywall trowel.
- 0:57Chuck Norris doesn't go swimming.
- 1:00Water just wants to be around him.
- 1:02Chuck Norris doesn't do pushups. He does earth downs.
- 1:05There is no control key on Chuck Norris's keyboard. Chuck Norris is in control.
- 1:11Most people fear the Reaper. Chuck Norris considers him a promising rookie.
- 1:16Someone tried to make a brand of toilet paper with Chuck Norris's face on it,
- 1:21but the idea was rejected because Chuck Norris doesn't take crap from anybody.
- 1:26And I saw like just videos, you know, death coming.
- 1:30God sending death to, you know, call his servant home and death has to psych
- 1:36himself up, you know, you know, precious in the sight of the Lord are the death of his saints.
- 1:42You know, we think that death is the end. It's really the beginning.
- 1:45When we wake up from this, which is going to feel like a dream,
- 1:50you know, Chuck Norris is more alive than we are at this point.
- 1:55But I wanted to read this. This
- 1:56was also, this was from Chuck Norris's Instagram and his family posted.
- 2:01It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved
- 2:05Chuck Norris yesterday morning.
- 2:07While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was
- 2:11surrounded by his family and was at peace.
- 2:13To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength.
- 2:17To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather,
- 2:21an incredible brother in the heart of our family.
- 2:23He lived on life with passion, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved.
- 2:29Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the
- 2:33world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.
- 2:36While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived for
- 2:40the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him.
- 2:43The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to
- 2:47him and our family is truly thankful for it.
- 2:50To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends.
- 2:53We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization,
- 2:57and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way.
- 3:01As we grieve this loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time.
- 3:06Thank you for loving him with us. With love, the Norris family.
- 3:10And this is a video, towards the end of his life, he was still pumping iron.
- 3:15He was still doing a martial arts.
- 3:17Just an incredible human being. I don't age. I level up. Hi, son.
- 3:22Hi, Dad. What are you doing? Just warming up. Just curling about 500 pounds. I see that.
- 3:28All right, you have fun. Sure will. Well, did you know that I can build a snowman
- 3:32out of brain? Hello, friends.
- 3:34I hope you're all well. What a beautiful day out here on the ranch.
- 3:38It just seems so surreal. It isn't, it's a, he's an iconic person,
- 3:42you know? You know, you think you could take me on.
- 3:45You know what happened to the last guy who said that? Yeah.
- 3:48Good one. Man, Chuck Norris was certainly an incredible figure in our lives.
- 3:55You know, not many people just have that, that gravitas, that presence.
- 3:59That it crossed all boundaries, all lines.
- 4:02Everybody could make a joke because there was no person like him.
- 4:06You know, like Chuck Norris, he defeated tornadoes. He was like a Paul Bunyan of our era.
- 4:13You know, just legends, myth, just walking around among us, you know, which was amazing.
- 4:19And to me, it's just sad because, like, you know, as we get up in age,
- 4:24just people, you know, pass away. They go to be with the Lord and it's,
- 4:28it's extremely tough. It doesn't feel real.
- 4:31It just doesn't feel like, how is this life go so quickly?
- 4:36I mean, the, the days, the weeks, they seem like an eternity,
- 4:40but like the years are like over in a blink of an eye.
- 4:44You can just look back and it's just like, how did that decade just go like
- 4:48in an instant? And it's just, I think we all experienced that and you started just becoming more.
- 4:53Just nostalgic, more wistful in your, in your old age or whatever age you are.
- 4:58I mean, everybody goes through it at different times. You know,
- 5:00we're all going through this.
- 5:01I just, I needed to talk about Chuck Norris, just his, the presence that he
- 5:06had, which was beyond so many people.
- 5:09And I wanted to pull up his, his movie history, which was pretty crazy.
- 5:14So these are Chuck Norris movies.
- 5:16Obviously he was in a Walker, Texas Ranger. You can see that in the way of the
- 5:20dragon with Bruce, Bruce, we Bruce Lee, who is, I am appreciating more and more
- 5:26Bruce Lee every day. I'm seeing just quotes of him.
- 5:29And I'm also seeing quotes of Chuck Norris, but just like, it's just such wisdom.
- 5:33And that these guys that these had, these two men figures had interaction that like early on.
- 5:40And I, the, the, the, the movies that they did together, it was just, it was just phenomenal.
- 5:45They're, they are legendary. Uh, the Delta force.
- 5:49I haven't seen a lot of these expendables missing in action lone wolf
- 5:53mccade agent recon so many
- 5:56of these i didn't check out but i mean dodgeball probably
- 5:59just made a little cameo appearance in that the one i go to i i i loved was
- 6:04sidekicks sidekicks was awesome if anybody's familiar with that one i don't
- 6:09know that the kid's name that was in that that main guy and he's no longer with
- 6:13us as well but that was an awesome movie you know i mean it kind of seemed like you know a kids movie,
- 6:18but it was, it was, it was awesome. It was.
- 6:21It gave you that comfy vibe. And it's just like, just even then,
- 6:25the strength and power of Chuck Norris, you know, the guy, he's climbing up
- 6:30the rope and he has this imaginary, you know, he wants to be like Chuck Norris.
- 6:35He loves Chuck Norris and Chuck Norris is right there alongside of him.
- 6:39And then later on, he actually gets to go into a tournament with Chuck Norris
- 6:43and which is incredible. And then they, I don't want to spoil it for you.
- 6:46What happens, but you can guess, you can guess. All right.
- 6:50I mean, there's so many he did. I didn't, I haven't caught some of these.
- 6:53I think a lot of these were, you know, I mainly go to Texas Walker,
- 6:57uh, Walker, Texas Ranger.
- 6:58He was iconic for that. Well known for that, but he had a, he definitely had
- 7:02a resume and of, of movies, but I, I go to those Bruce Lee movies,
- 7:06those Bruce Lee movies that he did pretty crazy.
- 7:09Uh, his, the things that he was able to create and do, they will last with us the movies.
- 7:14But I, to me, it goes a lot to the, to just his, nobody messed with this guy,
- 7:20you know, he, his, his reputation preceded him everywhere he went.
- 7:25And even when he wasn't there, you know, you, people could talk about Chuck
- 7:28Norris, just a phenomenal person. And most importantly, a Christian,
- 7:33a Christian, a man of faith, you know, and he led a good, strong life for the Lord.
- 7:39And now he gets to be sharing with the Lord forever and be with him forever,
- 7:43which is, you know, which is the most important thing when we get down to it.
- 7:47That's all that matters. You know, what we do here in this life, we,
- 7:50if people are blessed enough to go out and create movies, create,
- 7:54you know, if you're doing whatever, something on the internet or just doing
- 7:57a regular job or in government, whatever, wherever you find yourself,
- 8:02you know, it's God has placed you there.
- 8:04You're not there just for your own purposes, your own reason.
- 8:07And we, everything you do, it's not the things that you just randomly do accumulate
- 8:12wealth, or accumulate whatever.
- 8:15The things that you're doing unto the Lord, those are the things that are going to last.
- 8:18Jesus said, store up in heaven things that neither moth or rust can destroy
- 8:23and thieves can't break in and steal.
- 8:25Like everything we have, even like if your main gig and what you want to do
- 8:30is create content and make things for people, you know, enjoyable, entertaining things.
- 8:35I was just thinking about this earlier today.
- 8:39Like so many people, like you feel like you don't reach the level of success
- 8:44that you want and you're, you're disappointed.
- 8:46Some people get a little bit, but they always want more because it's never enough.
- 8:50Some people have reached in to beyond their wildest imagination.
- 8:55And then they realize it's really not as fulfilling as you thought it would be.
- 8:59So it's like, whatever stage you're at in life, having a mindset of being content.
- 9:06Being like, this is for Christ's glory.
- 9:10This is for God. This isn't about me.
- 9:13Everything that I'm doing in this life, it's not about me. It's not about trying
- 9:17to build up my bank account or, you know, just put like, I mean,
- 9:21even good things can turn it just like almost like not as satisfying as they can.
- 9:25If you, unless you have God in it, unless you are doing it for him, you know, everything.
- 9:31So whatever you put your hand to, you know, I think everybody,
- 9:33it's, that's a reminder for anybody, even myself included. because I was just thinking about that.
- 9:39It's just like, no matter what I'm reaching for, I never feel like I've.
- 9:44God, where I'm like, I'm good. I'm happy. I'm content. You know,
- 9:48I never naturally feel like that. I always feel like I need something more.
- 9:52And it's like, Jesus gave the example. He said, don't store up things on earth
- 9:58where it's going to just, it's going to go away.
- 10:00It's not going to last, but store up things like that.
- 10:03I mean, do things for God and for his glory and for your fellow human beings,
- 10:08for everybody, you know, do everything unto him and for him.
- 10:12Him and then that is what's going to be stored
- 10:15it's like imperishable it's going to be in heaven ready for
- 10:18you waiting for you and it's it's it's like we are
- 10:21going to stand before god and we're going to have something to give
- 10:24him like my life i was doing it for you these things i was doing them for you
- 10:29and he that's him saying to you that him saying to chuck norris well done my
- 10:35good and faithful servant you know and i think that is a it's a it's an awesome
- 10:39thing if we have that mindset.
- 10:42All right, shifting gears a little bit, because I wanted to talk about Chuck
- 10:45Norris and what he means to everybody, what he's meant for America,
- 10:48that we are that blessed to have him.
- 10:50We are in day 21 of the Iran war.
- 10:54And all I'm thinking about lately is there's a massive division.
- 11:00People at each other's necks right now with the war in Iran,
- 11:04what's going on there. And people are hardening themselves.
- 11:08And I feel myself as well. I'm like, you just feel like I'm not getting any more merciful.
- 11:15I'm not getting any more gracious. I feel like I'm getting, and I'm not even in battle.
- 11:19I'm not even in battle. I mean, imagine our soldiers over there,
- 11:22you know, and as we even get more into this conflict, that it could get even
- 11:26more out of control and more desperate and dangerous, you know?
- 11:32We haven't been in, like, a hardcore war in a while as a nation.
- 11:36We've tried to stay out of wars, and I think that is why everybody's at each
- 11:40other's necks, because Donald Trump, he made the decision to go into Iran,
- 11:46and whatever you think of it.
- 11:50Whether you think he made the good decision or not, at the end of the day,
- 11:53he did it. we got to stand with our commander in chief.
- 11:56We got to stand with our president, you know, because I think,
- 12:00cause you can't really like almost just based off the internet,
- 12:04you're going to get a good, a good feel and a good measure of where we should be.
- 12:09Because the internet is like almost more and more. It's just,
- 12:12all it does is divide everyone because the only thing that's going to fit your algorithm,
- 12:17the only thing that's going to get thrown in front of you is if people are screaming
- 12:21at each other and calling each other names, and just making fun of everybody.
- 12:26Instead of just being really nuanced and reasonable
- 12:29because reasonableness doesn't put you
- 12:32on the front page of youtube being reasonable doesn't
- 12:35show you to everyone so you you see the
- 12:38most crazy lunatics out on the front page the ones that are boosted are the
- 12:44ones that are the ones that aren't probably putting forward what's in your best
- 12:48interest and i i have found that more and more people just want to be angry
- 12:52more and more people just want to be mad and when I saw what Donald Trump posted this morning,
- 12:58just about two hours ago.
- 13:01Which it kind of stood out to me. And I don't know about you.
- 13:04He put out there, Robert Moeller, Robert Moeller. I don't know if I can talk.
- 13:08Robert Moeller. I'm probably saying it normal. It just sounds weird to me.
- 13:12Robert Moeller just died. Good. I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people.
- 13:18President Donald J. Trump. Donald Trump, he is getting more and more.
- 13:22I feel himself in this war, just not as merciful or gracious.
- 13:28He, I mean, he has said some things in the past. And I, whenever he called out, what was that?
- 13:33Who, what was that man's name? Was it the director Schneider?
- 13:38I don't even know who, what, I forget his name. I'm going blank. The princess bride guy.
- 13:42And he said the kind of, a very awful thing about him whenever he passed away,
- 13:46Robert Mueller, he was a, he was the person that pretty much in did the investigation
- 13:51when the whole Russia, Russia, Russia thing was happening.
- 13:54When everything was being just slandered upon Donald Trump in his first term
- 13:59about that Rush was colluding with Donald Trump.
- 14:02And that was what's going on, what put him in the White House, which was it was evil.
- 14:07It was worm food. It was just it was just things that were just beneath the pale.
- 14:12But it's what when the national the networks on the mainstream TV like CNN,
- 14:17that was what they ran on. And things have changed dramatically now.
- 14:20I think the power has moved from the like those main networks and it has moved to the internet.
- 14:25It has moved to podcasts and people talking on there. That was, the shift has happened.
- 14:31More older people are just watching those things like ABC, what is on mainstream
- 14:36news and more just the younger generation. They're not there.
- 14:40We're watching the internet.
- 14:42I'm trying to say I were, I'm like, I'm in there, you know, I'm 40. Okay. Whatever.
- 14:47I'm, I'm still a young cat, you know, spry, you know, spry is the,
- 14:51the day is young, you know, but like.
- 14:53I think the more and more people are focusing on the internet and that's where
- 14:57more of the power is at and what was happening like in that timeframe,
- 15:01but was, it was wrong what Robert Mueller was doing, you know,
- 15:04he's probably just doing his job, but like,
- 15:06and Donald Trump just has some bad, bad blood with him.
- 15:11And, but him just to say that when someone dies, you know, unless they're just
- 15:15a crazy dictator, you know, or, or whatever, I mean, and you don't need to,
- 15:20I mean, he's an American citizen.
- 15:22You know, he was like, so him just to say that it does rub me the wrong way.
- 15:26And I'm not like, like Laura Loomer, where I'm just like, oh yeah, Donald Trump.
- 15:32Like I, I see everything you're doing is perfect.
- 15:34I'm not like that. And watch, well, I probably would not be a friend of Donald
- 15:37Trump, you know, cause you, you almost have to agree with him in every point,
- 15:42but Donald Trump doesn't know my name. Donald Trump probably doesn't know your name.
- 15:47So, I mean, I think we can be real about this. And we can still be as a loyal,
- 15:52patriotic Americans and stand with our president. But that did disrupt me the wrong way.
- 15:57And it just shows that where we are at, like as the United States and just a
- 16:01lot of the world, we are in a bad state and it seems like it's going to get worse.
- 16:07Things are, and I don't want to, I don't, there's no need to like kind of make
- 16:12it all doomer and say there's no, there's no way out of this.
- 16:16Donald Trump could reverse course in a second and get us, and get us out of the war with Iran.
- 16:20I don't think that would be the best idea. I think we've, we've crossed the
- 16:24Rubicon and which most people are, the divide is happening, whether it's, it's Israel.
- 16:30I keep, I'm going to keep going to that because that's more and more going to
- 16:34become more and more poignant for everyone.
- 16:36Everybody's going to be a realization of Israel, whether they pushed us into
- 16:42war or not, whether they have like coaxed us into going with them,
- 16:46their interest is to secure in that area around them.
- 16:49I mean, imagine being like over there. There's just a very small nation surrounded
- 16:54by other nations that don't like them too much.
- 16:57That a lot that really want to kill Israel. They want to wipe them off the planet.
- 17:04They don't want them there. And it's like, we're the power arm,
- 17:09the strong arm that is standing with this little nation over there, Israel.
- 17:14And whether they pushed us and helped us get into war with them,
- 17:18Donald Trump, you think he is going to be a person that is going to be blackmailed?
- 17:23If he's really blackmailed, he's going to be posting, he's going to be attacking.
- 17:28Donald Trump is not a person on the defense. He's never been that.
- 17:31And you would be crazy to think that he's being controlled by Netanyahu or anybody,
- 17:36these Israelite people over there, these...
- 17:39People like these Jewish people that they're, he has sympathy towards them.
- 17:44His, his daughter is married to Jared Kushner, who is Jewish.
- 17:47And then I I'm assuming that his daughter became Jewish as well.
- 17:49So it's, it's realizing that the Jews in Israel are our best friend. They are.
- 17:57And they, they are a kind of, they are kind of like, if you've seen the movie
- 18:02casino, you know, that Joe Pesci, his name in the movie is Nikki.
- 18:06He's kind of, he's kind of a wild guy, you know, and he gets into a lot of fights
- 18:10and we're almost like the Robert
- 18:11De Niro, like trying to keep it under control, trying to keep it cool.
- 18:15But like Nick, Nicky, he goes, he goes off Joe Pesci. He goes off and just like,
- 18:20just does things that aren't always great.
- 18:23It's us in a little bit more trouble than we'd like to be. But I mean,
- 18:27he's still, he's still a bulldog.
- 18:28He's still a, a fighter and he's still an secret in the room for everyone out there.
- 18:35And people don't want to believe this, they do got God's hand on them throughout history.
- 18:39You know, I think of Mark Twain who wrote like the thing that made him believe
- 18:43most in the Bible, like that it is the real deal is, and I'm,
- 18:48this is what I remember of it is like, is the Jewish people that they've been able to last this long.
- 18:54You don't see these, these, these, these people groups from all,
- 18:58from so long ago in the same kind of intact measure that the Jewish people are.
- 19:04The people of Israel, God has preserved them throughout history,
- 19:08you know, and we can see that God kind of turned his back on them,
- 19:11you know, when they rejected the Messiah.
- 19:13And I know that's not going to make people that are Jewish the most happy because
- 19:18I know, I know, I've heard it over and over that they don't like that.
- 19:22They don't like you saying that, that they're the ones that sent Jesus to the cross, but they did.
- 19:27They, they, they rejected their Messiah and that was what brought judgment on them.
- 19:32But we can see kind of that like within the last hundred years,
- 19:35God has been kind of turning his gaze back on his covenant people.
- 19:39So we know how we can kind of see how this plays out.
- 19:43I think about when the expectation of the Messiah coming into the world,
- 19:48you know, with Abraham and David, they look forward to God's promise because
- 19:54God promised that he would send someone a savior to come.
- 19:58Because David wrote about blessed is the man whose sins are forgiven,
- 20:01he knew God was going to take care of it, but he didn't know exactly how.
- 20:05He didn't know that God himself was going to come in the person of Jesus Christ
- 20:10and die for our sins, be a sacrifice on the cross for our sins.
- 20:15And I think that that's kind of like how it is now for us.
- 20:18We kind of know how this is going to play out. We can go to the back of the
- 20:21book, the book of Revelation.
- 20:23We can kind of see these imagery and these things of events that take place,
- 20:27but really you'd be insane to think that you know everything and you know exactly
- 20:32how in detail what's going to happen.
- 20:34Nobody knows. And I think it's the exact same way that the expectation went
- 20:39before Jesus came and then he came and it was like a plot twist to everybody.
- 20:43Even the apostle Paul had to completely rearrange his theology because it messed him up.
- 20:50It was not what they were expecting. And they had to rethink and reevaluate
- 20:55and reinterpret what they thought they understood,
- 20:59Now that the Messiah has come in, it wasn't what they expected.
- 21:01I think that's going to be kind of what it is as we kind of near get closer
- 21:06and closer to the second coming of Christ, as we get closer and closer to Armageddon,
- 21:11as we get closer and closer to the things that are talked about at the end of the book.
- 21:14It's not going to look like it's not going to work. Nobody has a picture of
- 21:18it in their head of what it's going to, what it's actually going to, what's going to happen.
- 21:22Nobody does. But whenever it does happen, we're going to be like,
- 21:26wow, that makes sense. Not what we expected.
- 21:29But praise God. All right. So that's, I know as this builds up more and more,
- 21:34we are in a crazy time being in war with Iran and things are going to more than likely escalate.
- 21:41Maybe even if they kind of did dial back, history goes in, in two of different,
- 21:47one of two different directions. It goes, you know, it's, it builds up more
- 21:50and more and then it calms down and cools down.
- 21:52It doesn't seem like it's going to cool down, but God only knows.
- 21:56I just think as we are in this time, it just feels like people are getting more
- 22:00and more hardened into what they will be.
- 22:04So it's like, as much as you have life and breath in you, continue to try to
- 22:09lean towards the mercy side, the gracious side, the melting side of God's grace.
