- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're going to spin back
- 0:07down the New Mexico and talk a little bit more
- 0:09about the truth Commission that has been put together to
- 0:13try and recreate what happened to New Mexico when it
- 0:17comes to Jeffrey Epstein, and in pursuit of that, they're
- 0:21going to be looking at everything according to them, including
- 0:24the FBI, the DOJ, and other agencies. And I think
- 0:30that's a good idea because these decisions didn't just happen. Right.
- 0:35The DOJ as a monolithic institute, didn't decide to give
- 0:39Jeffrey Epstein that sweetheart deal that was done by Mukaesy
- 0:44and that was done by Philippe. There were the two
- 0:47guys that were in charge at the time. It wasn't
- 0:49a costa. And I know people want to say it's
- 0:52a costa, but it wasn't. Middleman middle manager doesn't have
- 0:57that kind of pull. Oh and by the way, years
- 1:00worth of emails disappeared from Acosta and during that period
- 1:06while they were negotiating the NPA. So yeah, there's a
- 1:10lot of questions that need to be answered. And I
- 1:12don't think we're going to get that at the federal level.
- 1:15So the states that have been caught up in this,
- 1:18the states that have been affected, I would love to
- 1:20see all of them do the same thing. Today we
- 1:24have an article from the Latin Times and the headline
- 1:27FBIDJ among agencies facing scrutiny as New Mexico reopens questions
- 1:32around Epstein Ranch. This article was authored by Pedro Camacho.
- 1:39A bipartisan New Mexico commission investigating Jeffrey Epstein's or O
- 1:43Ranch announced Monday that it will issue subpoenas to multiple
- 1:47federal and state agencies, including the FBI and the Department
- 1:51of Justice, as lawmakers revisit long standing questions surrounding alleged
- 1:56criminal activity at the property and the institutions failed to
- 2:00stop it. And I just hope that it's not performative.
- 2:03I hope that they really plan on pursuing any leads
- 2:06they get, and I hope that they have the ability
- 2:09and the wherewithal to follow those leads wherever they go.
- 2:14And if somebody committed a crime, they should be held accountable.
- 2:18And New Mexico has a chance here to really set
- 2:20a standard right. If other states see it, they might
- 2:24want to get involved New York, especially if anyone needs
- 2:29some kind of truth commission about what Epstein was up to.
- 2:32It's New York. That man was so protected in New
- 2:34York that it's almost hard to wrap your mind around it.
- 2:39Why would the prosecutors themselves in New York try and
- 2:43argue that Jeffrey Epstein was not as dangerous of an
- 2:47offender as he was. What would motivate them to do that? Oh,
- 2:51that's right, Jeffrey Epstein's money, Jeffrey Epstein's friends, Jeffrey Epstein's pull.
- 3:00The New Mexico Truth Commission approved subpoenas for fourteen entities
- 3:04tied to either the previous investigation into Epstein or at
- 3:08operations linked to the ranch near Santa Fe. Those include
- 3:12the FBI, the US Department of Justice, the US Attorney's
- 3:15Office for the Southern District of New York, the New
- 3:18Mexico Department of Justice, JP Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, and
- 3:22the Santa Fe Institute. That one is interesting because I've
- 3:26told you before they threw me directly off that campus.
- 3:30When I showed up at the Santa Fe Institute asking questions,
- 3:34they had no desire to answer any of them. The
- 3:36campus itself, though, is beautiful, there's no denying that. Look,
- 3:40the whole area is great. If I had the money,
- 3:44i'd buy a ranch down there. I mean, it's absolutely
- 3:47beautiful place. When I was driving from Albuquerque down to
- 3:50Santa Fe, I couldn't believe how many great properties I passed.
- 3:55I mean, absolutely fantastic looking properties. And then you get
- 3:58down to Stanley where Epstein's ranches. It's nothing but opulence,
- 4:02at least right around Epstein, but the whole surrounding area
- 4:08leading up to that absolutely beautiful and under normal circumstances,
- 4:13if you're a normal human being, I could totally see
- 4:16why somebody with a bunch of dough would want to
- 4:18build a ranch where he built it. I mean, it's
- 4:22a great location. And I'm talking about from an outdoors perspective,
- 4:27right as somebody who climbs mountains, somebody that likes to
- 4:30go backcountry hiking. That would be a dream come true
- 4:34to have a place like that. Lawmakers said that the
- 4:36commission aims to establish a complete, documented public record of
- 4:40alleged sex trafficking, abuse, and institutional failures connected to Epstein's
- 4:45activities in New Mexico. And I really hope they can
- 4:48do it, and I think that if they follow along
- 4:51with what people are telling them local people, they'll have
- 4:54a blueprint. I was blown away by what I heard
- 4:57from locals when I visited, and how the authorities just
- 5:02had no desire to see what was going on. When
- 5:04you have regular people, you know, front desk operators at hotels,
- 5:08who know that there's something wrong, you know that the
- 5:11authorities know that and they chose not to act. And
- 5:15hopefully that's what this commission is going to dig into.
- 5:17There needs to be accountability for the people that allowed
- 5:20this to occur. So you can say until you're blue
- 5:24in the face that Epstein's dead and that there's no
- 5:27proof to put anyone in prison when it comes to
- 5:29human trafficking, But there's a lot more going on here,
- 5:34and there's verifiable, obvious evidence that criminality was occurring. And
- 5:39I think that's one of my biggest frustrations, that it's
- 5:42obvious that other crimes were occurring and they just ignore it.
- 5:46They just act like it doesn't matter, when in fact,
- 5:48it does matter. We're talking about immigration fraud on the
- 5:53grand scale, So who is the point man or woman
- 5:56inside the immigration office? Patted Jeffrey Epstein so much pull
- 6:01or was it whoever his handler was in the government,
- 6:04or whoever his contact was, because I don't think Epstein
- 6:06had a handler, maybe at first, but not as things progressed.
- 6:12He was way too valuable and he had way too
- 6:14much going on to have someone he asked to check
- 6:17in with. We will name who was responsible, and we
- 6:20will do with the evidentiary rigor that survivors deserve. State
- 6:24Representative Andrea Reeb, a Republican and former prosecutor, said Monday
- 6:29during the hearing. As reported by The Hill, the hearing
- 6:32also featured testimony from alleged victims and relatives of survivors,
- 6:37including Rachel Benavidez, a New Mexico woman who said Epstein
- 6:41sexually abused her after she was hired as a massage
- 6:44therapist at the ranch. We have how many women who
- 6:47have come forward and said that they were abused at
- 6:50the ranch, five six confirmed. I mean, it's incredible, and
- 6:56you know there's more. There's always more a lot of
- 7:00women who probably don't know what's going on, people from Europe,
- 7:03people from Peru, people from god knows where, and these
- 7:06disgusting sons of bitches were bringing them in by the
- 7:09bus load. So my guess is we've just seen the
- 7:12very tip of the iceberg, right the very beginning. And
- 7:16when that damn breaks, that damn breaks, And my guess
- 7:19is that we're going to see a lot of allegations
- 7:22be made in the coming months about New Mexico. In
- 7:28twenty nineteen, when Jeffrey Epstein was arrested, I spoke out
- 7:31about the sexual abuse and crimes he committed against me,
- 7:34Benavidez told lawmakers, as Albuquerque Journal reports, I'm here again
- 7:39today In twenty twenty six as a fifty two year
- 7:42old woman speaking out and trying to find truth in
- 7:46justice and still no answers. Sky Roberts, brother of the
- 7:50late Virginia Roberts, urged New Mexico officials to pursue accountability,
- 7:55saying the state faced a choice between protecting power over
- 7:58people or leading efforts toward justice for survivors. And he's right.
- 8:04This could be a benchmark type of deal if it's
- 8:07conducted correctly, if everybody does the right thing, then yeah,
- 8:12we're onto something here and we might get to the
- 8:15bottom of at least a few of these different mysteries
- 8:18and provide these survivors with some of the answers that
- 8:20they've been looking for. The subpoena has come months after
- 8:25New Mexico lawmakers unanimously approved legislation creating the Commission to
- 8:29Investigate Alleged Criminal Activity Adzoro Ranch, where Epstein was accused
- 8:34in multiple civil lawsuits of sexually abusing girls but was
- 8:37never criminally charged. Well, I wonder why to criminally charge somebody,
- 8:43Usually you have to investigate them, and we all know
- 8:47that didn't happen. There was no real investigation of Jeffrey Epstein,
- 8:51and anybody who says that that's not true is not
- 8:54somebody that should be taken seriously. Additional FBI records released
- 8:59earlier this year showed agents and Albuquerque investigated claims that
- 9:03a century's old church death bell stolen in the thirties
- 9:06may have been stored at the ranch. The inquiry was
- 9:10eventually closed without a search warrant being issued. New Mexico
- 9:13Attorney General Rabul Torres reopened the state's investigation into the
- 9:18ranch earlier this year and has encouraged victims and witnesses
- 9:22to come forward and look. I really hope that they do.
- 9:26But how many of the girls are from places where
- 9:29this story might not even be reaching them. And I
- 9:33know that sounds crazy in the year twenty twenty six,
- 9:36but we know for a fact that Jeffrey Epstein, Jean
- 9:39Luke Brunel, and Glenn Maxwell went to vulnerable areas in
- 9:44places like Brazil, Peru and elsewhere to find girls. What
- 9:50do you think they all have Cox cable down there?
- 9:54They got themselves some fiber optic Internet in the cities, yeah,
- 9:59but not in these little villages, not in these little
- 10:02poor areas where Jeffrey Epstein and Glene Maxwell would go
- 10:06and hunt. And what about places over in Eastern Europe
- 10:10and god knows where else, Like I was saying earlier,
- 10:12So I think that we're going to see people come forward,
- 10:14But how many and from where? I think that's the question.
- 10:18And as we move forward, that question is going to
- 10:21be answered. And until we get those answers, me and
- 10:25my big mouth, well we'll be right here. All the
- 10:29information that goes with this episode can be found in
- 10:32the description box.
