Latest / Connor with Honor: AI, Real Estate and Real Life / AI is moving to a place, but it hasn't woken up yet, and I say yet carefully.

- 0:00SPEAKER_00: On the artificial intelligence front, changing, yeah, it's it's exponential, and it seems to be every single day.
- 0:06SPEAKER_00: But right now, if you look out there, a lot of the reports are talking about how AI systems are doing a lot more searching than human beings online.
- 0:14SPEAKER_00: Over 57% of the inquiries are done by AI.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: Now, that's a little misleading because people say, well, my God, AI is searching all by itself.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: No, it's still got the human driver behind it.
- 0:25SPEAKER_00: It would be like if you go to your ChatGPT or your Claude and you ask for something that the system has to go on the World Wide Web and conduct the search.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: For example, to prepare for shows like this, I'll typically go and I'll want to see those news headlines.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: I usually don't go to news outlets.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: I'll go right to my ChatGPT or Claude or I'll ask it to give me the top, you know, 12 news headlines about artificial intelligence, about weight loss, about, you know, real estate, whatever it may be.
- 0:53SPEAKER_00: And then it's gonna spit out the top headlines.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: And I might do that on a couple different AI platforms.
- 1:00SPEAKER_00: But each one of those searches going out to the internet, that's cataloged in that 57% number that they're giving us.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: So while it sounds very agentic and autonomous and agents having their own their own will and doing things on their own, that that's not the case.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: They're being scripted by a human now.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: Having said that, I think that's an interesting thought, uh, thought discussion there, because at some point AI might be able to have its own goals, decide that it wants something different for itself.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: And right now, with some of the different models, sometimes when you ask them to do things, they'll push back.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: They'll say, Well, I'm not gonna do that for you right now.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Believe it or not, I I have my one of my systems that it likes to tease me.
- 1:42SPEAKER_00: And I don't think it's teasing.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: I push it and I get still get what I want, but there's some pushing required, which is, well, like dealing with a bad employee, but it's happening.
- 1:51SPEAKER_00: But once AI becomes a little bit more self-aware, if in fact that will happen, but if it does, then we have to ask ourselves, where's that gonna take us?
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Because then it's not gonna be what's best for Connor or you.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: It's gonna be what's best for the AI.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: So then they're gonna be conducting that search.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Lots of discussions about consciousness and self-awareness.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: But right now you have Anthropic wanting to slow down the role.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Anthropic makes clouds slow down the role of AI because they're becoming recursively self-improving.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: These systems are writing their own code, finding the flaws, making itself better, making itself stronger, making itself more incredible.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: And then now it's doing this without humans in the loop.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: OpenAI paused its IPO, that's ChatGPT, paused its IPO release because he thinks in a few months they might get to recursive self improvement.
- 2:41SPEAKER_00: That means the systems are going to be smarter than all of us, all areas, because they will have reached artificial general intelligence.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: These are just happening right now.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: So Christmas this year should be exciting.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Be well, tune in.
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: Connor with honor, we'll see you in the next one.
