- 0:32Comfortable and get started Hello healers.
- 0:38Hello warriors.
- 0:39Welcome back to the podcast.
- 0:41And in today's episode, I want to talk to you about the seven dimensions of health.
- 0:50Or seven dimensions of wellness.
- 0:53Now, many people would think about wellness or health in terms of physical aspect only.
- 1:00But the word.
- 1:02Health.
- 1:03Wellness encompasses or seven dementia's.
- 1:07Cause when I talked to my patients that are in my gut, the clutter in program.
- 1:11They will come to me and say, Hey, Dr.
- 1:12Jensie, I want to feel healthy.
- 1:15I want to increase my wellness.
- 1:17I want to feel good.
- 1:18And they're always focused on the nutrition, the exercise.
- 1:22They want to lose weight.
- 1:23They want to manage the blood pressure.
- 1:25They want to manage the blood sugar.
- 1:26They want to eliminate the symptoms.
- 1:29They want to feel better than when they have wider skin.
- 1:32They want to have hell growth they want to have more, um, cognitive function.
- 1:37They want to get rid of the brain fog.
- 1:38They want more energy.
- 1:40So all of these are the physical aspect of your health.
- 1:44However in not a few to achieve greater wellness or health, you have to really embrace and work on all seven dimensions of health and wellness.
- 1:58And that is exactly what I help my patients do in my gut, the cluttering program.
- 2:05Because when you work, and all seven, then you feel great.
- 2:10You will gain your energy.
- 2:12You have mental toughness.
- 2:14You able to say no to the food.
- 2:16That's not seven new.
- 2:17You able to have mental resiliency, able to handle stress better.
- 2:21You become a happier person.
- 2:23Your mood is changing.
- 2:25You are less irritable because we are connecting all seven and we'll work in an oh seven dimensions.
- 2:31So let's get started.
- 2:33The first one again, that's the one that most people focus on.
- 2:37It's the physical aspect of your health.
- 2:40The physical aspect of your half.
- 2:42That's the first dimension.
- 2:45And this one includes healthy behaviors.
- 2:49Exercise proper nutrition.
- 2:52Right.
- 2:52Like eliminating bad habits.
- 2:55Eliminating drugs and alcohol medications and over the counter pills, eliminating your symptoms and diseases.
- 3:03And what can we do to optimize our physical wellness?
- 3:09The first things.
- 3:10I think all of us know what to do is to move our bodies exercise on the regular, get plenty of rest.
- 3:18Eating the food that are serving us.
- 3:21Meal prepping.
- 3:23Focus on the habits and the toxins that you're putting into your body to eliminate that.
- 3:28So this is the physical aspect, because if you don't the new, all going to have this ease, you are going to have illnesses.
- 3:36Your body will communicate to you in the form of symptoms, that's how we have the aches and pains.
- 3:42That's what we have the headaches, the brain fog.
- 3:44The fatigue.
- 3:45We just don't feel well because you have a lot of inflammation.
- 3:49So that's the first thing.
- 3:50When people come to me, I didn't want to just get what up the medications, get, whatever the disease.
- 3:55And we do that in our gut, the clutter in program.
- 3:58But just focusing on the physical aspect alone would only get you so far.
- 4:05You'll find yourself stuck.
- 4:08On the struggle bus struggling, experiencing.
- 4:13Health plateaued and the symptoms will come back because you have not really worked on the second.
- 4:20Dementia of health, which is emotional health.
- 4:23To me.
- 4:25This is the most important one, the emotional piece, the mindset piece, because if you get this under control, you can literally see great results in the physical health.
- 4:35So emotional wellness, emotional wellbeing.
- 4:39Which is the second dimension.
- 4:42It's you focusing on the human being that you are your emotions.
- 4:46Like instill happiness and positivity into your life.
- 4:50Learn how to manage your sadness and your anger.
- 4:53Learn how to deal with difficult circumstances in life.
- 4:57Not really looking at yourself as the failure, increasing your self-esteem increasing yourself.
- 5:03Trust increasing.
- 5:05The self-concept.
- 5:07Increasing your identity, not signing up for any diagnosis.
- 5:11Not allowing people to treat you the way you don't want to be treated.
- 5:15Right.
- 5:16And how do I help my patients do that?
- 5:18And our gut program is to really tune in.
- 5:21To your feelings and emotions.
- 5:23Like I ask my patients to really sit with it.
- 5:25How do you feel?
- 5:26Anger, sadness, anxious, anxiety.
- 5:30The press.
- 5:32I feel frustrated, like sit in, which are emotions in your feelings.
- 5:35What are your thoughts telling you?
- 5:37And is it true because patients will come to me and say, Hey, I feel like a failure.
- 5:42I should notice that the GNC, I don't know why I cannot stop eating the food that I know going to give me the gut issues.
- 5:50I don't know why I keep giving, give into the cravings when I know the sugar, the cookies, the bread, the past that the rice.
- 5:59Oh, even the broccoli is going to really give me a discomfort.
- 6:03They feel ashamed.
- 6:05They feel bad, right?
- 6:06They feel disappointed in themselves.
- 6:08So I asked them.
- 6:10Really to sit with that feeling.
- 6:12And fill it in your body.
- 6:14And also, what are we going to do about that?
- 6:17How are you going to process the emotions?
- 6:19Right.
- 6:19You have to cultivate optimist attitude.
- 6:23You have to feel safe.
- 6:25You have to trust yourself.
- 6:26And you also have to accept and forgive yourself for all the things you've done to yourself.
- 6:32All the things that you.
- 6:34Feel that that are not serving you.
- 6:36And then you blame yourself for that.
- 6:38Forgive yourself.
- 6:39Accept yourself.
- 6:39Love yourself.
- 6:41That is the emotional.
- 6:43And you also have to eliminate any mind drama.
- 6:47In trauma, emotional toxicity.
- 6:50If, you know, you have people in your life that are not serving, you get rid of them.
- 6:54And you have to embody the knowledge and the realization that you are in this journey by yourself, people will not understand why you have to do certain things for you to feel better.
- 7:04So the emotional health, the emotional wellbeing is very important.
- 7:09And I feel like that's the work that many of us are not doing.
- 7:13That's preventing us from getting healthy.
- 7:16The other dimension is intellectual dimension.
- 7:19Like for me and my patients and my program, I don't just give them a recipe.
- 7:23Just give him pills.
- 7:25I explained to them why I'm recommending certain things in my program, we have modules, we have resources.
- 7:34I will recommend them through RESA and things.
- 7:36We do a lot in my, in my program because at the end of the day, You have to really enhance the mind.
- 7:44You have to continue active with that muscle, your brain.
- 7:47Right.
- 7:47You really have to stop and do self evaluation and learn throughout the whole process.
- 7:53So when I asked them to create healthy habits and, um, we are incorporating new skills, we are improving knowledge.
- 8:01For them to learn about themselves, to connect with themselves, learn about their own bodies.
- 8:05That's part of the intellectual, dimension.
- 8:10And the lecture wellbeing.
- 8:12It's two sick out.
- 8:13Read.
- 8:15I appreciate that the world around us, our environment learn something new every day.
- 8:21You do something.
- 8:23For instance, patients are cooking for themselves right now.
- 8:25They are incorporating new ingredients, new vegetables.
- 8:29They've never eat before they are learning about themselves.
- 8:32The learning, what the body's receiving, what the body is accepted.
- 8:35So intellectual dimension is learning new things.
- 8:39It can be a course that you will take in about health.
- 8:43It could be a book that you read in a video that you watched on YouTube about how to meditate.
- 8:48Generally in the ways of property, generally, we did an article, but it's really part of intellectual dimension.
- 8:55The next one is social dimension.
- 8:59Because once we go on this journey, we find ourself having body image.
- 9:03We find yourself being.
- 9:06Not sociable.
- 9:07We find ourself with tracking and not dealing with people that always used to be me because my gut used to be so bloated and so gassy.
- 9:13I used to look like I'm pregnant all the time.
- 9:16This was really affected my relationships.
- 9:19And this is one big, huge piece I have in my program.
- 9:23I got the clutter and program is the community.
- 9:25Right.
- 9:25We have to interact with like-minded individuals.
- 9:28As a human being.
- 9:29We love to be in community.
- 9:32We need to make sure that we going on this journey.
- 9:36We're not alone.
- 9:37There are other people that we can learn from.
- 9:40That we can socialize, that we can help.
- 9:43Creating good communication skills, developing intimacy with others.
- 9:48Like-minded individuals.
- 9:50So how do you cultivate social wellness?
- 9:53We call it the social wellness by getting involved.
- 9:56By contributing to our communities.
- 9:58By sharing our opinions, skills, and talent.
- 10:02By communicating our thoughts and classes and feelings and ideas.
- 10:06I have a patient right now in my gut, the clutter and go program.
- 10:09Who's literally posting everyday.
- 10:11He's wearing colorful socks because he has no swelling in his lower extremities.
- 10:16I didn't know.
- 10:17There was such things.
- 10:18But he's sharing with us how he found the socks he's wearing numb the Lukin grade.
- 10:24So he's making this experience more favorable.
- 10:27Right.
- 10:27He's not in a victim mentality and because it's Sharon, so other people are looking for sex, lack peace, not only because they have swelling because it's so colorful.
- 10:37And.
- 10:38We just want to elevate our self image.
- 10:40So we're going to wear socks that are colorful, like little things like that.
- 10:44So that's the social dimension.
- 10:45We are also sharing quotes in our group meditation videos.
- 10:50We find to be helpful.
- 10:52We are socializing, supporting each other, helping others see the greatness in themselves.
- 10:59And the other one that I I'm deeply involved in is the spiritual.
- 11:03The dimension, spiritual, albeit being involved, possessing a set of guided beliefs and principles and values, right.
- 11:11That will direct you in your life.
- 11:14That's going to give you the results.
- 11:16When you connect with the spiritual being that you are, you are elevating your faith, your hope and commitment.
- 11:24Do your beliefs.
- 11:26To yourself.
- 11:27Greg you willing to ask yourself, what is the purpose?
- 11:31Second mini ness, meaningful.
- 11:34Relationships.
- 11:35Why are we exist in this world?
- 11:37You question everything.
- 11:40And that's also important.
- 11:42So the way you explore.
- 11:45Spiritual wellbeing or spiritual wellness is to explore your spiritual core.
- 11:50Who do you believe?
- 11:52Do you believe there's a higher power who's guiding you.
- 11:55Who created you?
- 11:56Why are you here?
- 11:58Do you spend time alone?
- 12:00Do you meditate?
- 12:01Do you connect with yourself?
- 12:02Do you feel the emotions in your body?
- 12:05Are you fully present in everything that you do?
- 12:08Are you present right now?
- 12:10Listening to this podcast.
- 12:11Are you present in your family life at work?
- 12:14Are you present when you sit in with yourself?
- 12:17Are you listening to your heart and follow your desire?
- 12:21And that acceptance societal norms.
- 12:24Are you agreeing, agreeing with everything that people say to you?
- 12:27Are you questioning everything?
- 12:28Are you allowing yourself?
- 12:30And those around you to be free.
- 12:32Right.
- 12:32Do you see opportunities for growth?
- 12:35In the challenges that you face in life, are you taking this life circumstances and challenges and turn them into a positivity and learn from them?
- 12:43So that's the spiritual wellness.
- 12:45The another one is environmental wellness.
- 12:47Oh, that is huge as well.
- 12:50Right.
- 12:50Environmental wellness, environmental toxicity.
- 12:53The life that you live every day, the physical environment.
- 12:58The emotional environment.
- 13:00The mentor environment, all this.
- 13:02Create life in harmony.
- 13:05So you really have to focus on environmental wellness.
- 13:08What are you putting yourself into?
- 13:09What kind of environment are you exposed to?
- 13:12Do you have control of your environment around you?
- 13:14The people around you, your community, around you?
- 13:16Do you choose to put yourself in places and rooms?
- 13:20That's going to cause the VATE that's going to help you grow and becoming someone else.
- 13:25So how do we enhance environmental wellness?
- 13:27Well, first of all, stop watching the news.
- 13:30You fit in your brain, the wrong message.
- 13:33Stop squirreling on social media.
- 13:37Looking at people that are doing things that are not.
- 13:41Going to help you.
- 13:42What does your environment look like?
- 13:46Right.
- 13:46Are you minimizing chemical use?
- 13:49Are you looking at the toxins that you put into your body?
- 13:52The taxing in the air, in your environment.
- 13:55Even Helen in Britain, things that are not serving you.
- 13:58Enhance your environment, make it.
- 14:01To the fact that you love being.
- 14:04And the place that you live in.
- 14:05You're home.
- 14:07You love eating the food that is healthy.
- 14:10You love putting personal care products in your body and not pay for it.
- 14:14All the things.
- 14:17That you are doing to your body.
- 14:19Part of your environment.
- 14:21And then the last one we're going to talk about is occupational.
- 14:24Dimension.
- 14:26So occupational.
- 14:29involved school pair on you.
- 14:31For your gifts for your skills, for your talent, so that you can get purpose and happiness enrichment.
- 14:37In your life.
- 14:38Development of occupational wellness is related to your attitude about your work.
- 14:45How do you feel about your work?
- 14:47If any, if you don't like what you're doing right now, is there some aspect of your work that you can embrace and like, The paycheck that you get.
- 14:55Are you grateful for the patient that you get?
- 14:56Because you put in the work and you get paid.
- 14:58Maintaining a positive attitude.
- 15:02And looking for things to be satisfied.
- 15:05While you are working on a better occupational when I used to work in the hospital, although I didn't have to like the emergency room setting because it's sad to see all the same people.
- 15:15But I really enjoy helping them.
- 15:17I really enjoy talking to them, guiding them, leading them, giving them some things that they can do at home.
- 15:23I really enjoy the hugs and the tank cues that I used to get, because I literally stop.
- 15:29Listen.
- 15:31Make them feel seen and heard.
- 15:33And I just pulled him away as a, no a number or just yet another insurance claim.
- 15:38So I used to love that piece about my work.
- 15:41There's a lot of other pieces.
- 15:42I didn't like, but this piece I used to embrace all the time.
- 15:46So how do you enhance occupational wellness is to really explore different career options that, but first you have to know yourself.
- 15:54What do you love to do?
- 15:56What do you thrive in?
- 15:58What are your skills?
- 15:59What are your passions?
- 16:00What were you meant to do?
- 16:01Self awareness, I know that I love to help people, but I want to do it at my, on my own terms.
- 16:07I want to do it in the way.
- 16:08Where I'm not rushing because they have 300 people waiting for me.
- 16:12I can stop and be focused on that person.
- 16:15That's sitting in front of me.
- 16:17I love that.
- 16:18So therefore, I opened a business that creates exactly what I want to do.
- 16:22That create a vision for your future.
- 16:24What do you want?
- 16:25What do you see for yourself?
- 16:27If you're working right now, because you want to pay bills, you have priorities, you have commitments.
- 16:31That is fine.
- 16:32You can do that.
- 16:33But what do you want to be?
- 16:35Who do you have to become to get there?
- 16:37What do you love to do?
- 16:39What are your skills?
- 16:40What are your passions?
- 16:41What are your hobby?
- 16:42So create a vision.
- 16:43Sometimes I will write everything's in my book and I would just sit and just mailing it on it.
- 16:49I would just imagine in me achieving that thing.
- 16:54Some people will do a vision board.
- 16:56Some people would just write things down and read it over and over again.
- 17:01Like, I want to do this.
- 17:02I want to be this person I want to serve at this level.
- 17:06I want to make a big impact.
- 17:07So on and so forth.
- 17:09And choose a career or profession that really suit your personality, your interests.
- 17:14Because that's going to help you connect with the universe.
- 17:16That's gonna help you connect with your spirituality with the oneness.
- 17:20I call it because you in the zone of genius you're doing the work that you were created to do.
- 17:26So there'll be less resistance, less frustration and more happiness.
- 17:31And then open to learn new things.
- 17:34Open to get coaching.
- 17:36Having an open mind.
- 17:38If you know that you do something, you do it very well, then explore it in body and do it all the time.
- 17:44Don't give up on it.
- 17:46And explore the possibilities of doing that one thing all day in everyday.
- 17:51And then work on your limiting beliefs.
- 17:54I have a patient that came to me.
- 17:56She likes to knit.
- 17:57She likes to make wonderful blankets.
- 18:00But she was telling me how people are telling her there's no money in making blankets.
- 18:05So we had to sit down and really think about all the possibilities because of that.
- 18:09She wasn't fulfilling her purpose.
- 18:11She felt stuck working for someone and looking at what she was doing as a job, not a career, not a passion.
- 18:19And she had to wake up every day to go to work.
- 18:22When it comes the weekend, she comes alive.
- 18:24Does this happen to you when the weekends he's here?
- 18:26Oh my God, I can't wait for Friday.
- 18:27I can't wait for Saturday.
- 18:28I can't wait for Sunday, but when Monday comes as I go up, I have to go to work.
- 18:33It's a paycheck.
- 18:34It's a job.
- 18:35It's terrible because we have limited time on this planet.
- 18:38We see today, we don't know what tomorrow is going to bring.
- 18:41So if you wake up every day with no purpose and just doing a job so you can get a paycheck.
- 18:47And showing up to work, like not being your best selves.
- 18:51And just forcing something.
- 18:53Then you are literally wasting your existence on this planet.
- 18:57Yes, we're going to work.
- 18:59We're all going to go through this cycle, to this journey, to this phase of life where we're going to do things just for a paycheck, but at the same time, you need to really sit with yourself and identify.
- 19:10What it is.
- 19:12That you want to do what it is that you love to do.
- 19:15And then do that thing every day.
- 19:17At first do it as a side hustle.
- 19:19Like I mentioned, this lady, I'm not doing this as a side hustle.
- 19:22Take your blankets and put it on the internet.
- 19:25Do videos youTube videos of you making the blankets there's so many things you can do facebook posts and lives.
- 19:32There are a lot of people that will pay you some money to teach them how to make blankets.
- 19:37Blankets for babies blinkers for adults.
- 19:40people.
- 19:40There's so many things you can do.
- 19:42I don't want you to limit yourself because someone else told you that you cannot make money.
- 19:48And you will never succeed at it.
- 19:50And that's terrible because you blacken the blessings that the universe was to deliver because we have a calling within, we have a desire with him.
- 19:59We have so many things we want to do, but we really have to embrace it.
- 20:02First of all.
- 20:03Okay, so this is all I have for you.

- 21:23I talk to them.
- 21:24Talk to them about the call-ins.
- 21:25We talk about the spiritual wellbeing.
- 21:27We talk about the physical aspect, the mental aspect, emotional aspect.
- 21:31We talk to them about all seven dimensions.
- 21:33I just Outlined in this podcast so that they can achieve a greater health.
- 21:39Because we cannot focus on the physical piece alone.
- 21:43You're going to feel stuck.
- 21:44You're going to keep looking for different doctors.
- 21:46You're going to keep taking the pills.

- 22:00Then you see transformation take place.

- 22:08You can enjoy your life again.
