- 0:00SPEAKER_00: I think he just likes being on camera.
- 0:02SPEAKER_00: I think so too.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: Good morning, everybody.
- 0:04SPEAKER_00: Hello, hello.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: A little calendar voice.
- 0:27SPEAKER_01: All right, shall we get started?
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: Hell yeah, brother.
- 0:32SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: Let's see, where are we?
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, shit, I'm going first today.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: Yes, you are.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: You're so lucky.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: This is The Opinionated Ogre podcast, your weekly rampage through current events.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Are you locking me?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: A little snark, a bit of foul language, and a lot of strong opinions.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Hey, if you want to read the intro, go for it.
- 0:54SPEAKER_01: No, I was just...
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Mocking you.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Mock, mock, mock, mock.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: All right, episode 114, Nuremberg Them All.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: This is The Opinionated Ogre podcast,
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: your weekly rampage to current events with a little smirk,
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: a bit of foul language, and a lot of strong opinions.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: There are new episodes every Thursday,
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: and you're not safe for work or polite company of any kind whatsoever.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: So I just got to ask you,
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: as Trump sets up a $2.8 billion sale of 2,000
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: pound bombs to Israel using our money,
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: by the way, that's something that the press hasn't really been talking about.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: This is being paid for with a grant.
- 1:37SPEAKER_01: It's not even Israel paying for it.
- 1:38SPEAKER_01: We're paying for it.
- 1:39SPEAKER_01: We're giving them the money to pay for it, which is great.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: There are two really important things that people should remember about this.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: One, Biden explicitly stopped this kind of sale because they were using these bombs
- 1:53SPEAKER_01: in Gaza and we didn't want them to do that.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: Something the press kind of, you know, didn't really talk about.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: And all throughout now, I've talked about this numerous times all throughout 2024.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: The press wrote dozens and dozens of articles about American bombs being used
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: in Gaza,
- 2:10SPEAKER_01: then immediately stopped writing about that,
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: writing those articles when Trump was sworn in.
- 2:16SPEAKER_01: Israel didn't stop bombing Gaza, and in fact, the worst violence occurred under Trump.
- 2:23SPEAKER_01: They absolutely used our weapons to do it.
- 2:25SPEAKER_01: I think those are two very interesting facts that people should be thinking about,
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: especially over the next year when those bombs are getting used and
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: the press doesn't write,
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: I don't know, more than two or three articles about it, if that many.
- 2:40SPEAKER_01: Just something to keep in mind as time goes on.
- 2:44SPEAKER_01: And we wonder, whatever happened to those bombs?
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: Where did they go?
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: Who's using them?
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: How are they being used?
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Why isn't the press talking about it anymore?
- 2:53SPEAKER_01: Why was it such an important story in 2024
- 2:57SPEAKER_00: and not anymore?
- 2:58SPEAKER_00: Good to think
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: about these things.
- 3:00SPEAKER_00: Well, duh.
- 3:01SPEAKER_00: The obvious reason is that Macklemore is way more important.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: For sure, for sure.
- 3:07SPEAKER_01: So anyway, I am your podcast host, The Opinionated Ogre, and this is my co-host, Florida Woman.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Hello, Florida Woman.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: Good morning, everyone.
- 3:15SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: This is the recording for September 17th,
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: 2026, and we have a lot to get to on episode 114 of the Og Pod.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Are we ready to do this?
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Fuck yeah, we are.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Woo!
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Let's get to it.
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: It's time for the Ogre Nation news updates.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Roar!
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: Roar!
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: It kinda looks like I have a sleepy eye today, doesn't it?
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: A little bit.
- 3:43SPEAKER_00: So while Americans observed the 25th anniversary of
- 3:46SPEAKER_00: the 9-11 terrorist attacks last week,
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: the Department of Homeland Security Office of the Inspector General quietly dropped
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: a really, really,
- 3:55SPEAKER_00: really troubling report about the conditions at
- 3:57SPEAKER_00: the Florida Immigration Concentration Camp, the so-called Alligator Alcatraz.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: The report detailed the conditions that were every bit as bad as
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: the detained immigrants that they were.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: So first of all,
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: the OIG inspectors showed up at the facility without any notice,
- 4:15SPEAKER_00: which is exactly how you need to do it if you want to see what's really going on
- 4:17SPEAKER_00: and not see the Trump-watched version of events.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: When the inspectors asked the staff members what detention facilities were,
- 4:28SPEAKER_00: They all gave different answers.
- 4:30SPEAKER_00: That means that there was no clear set of standards at the facility.
- 4:34SPEAKER_00: And an official at the concentration camp explained that because of the lack
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: of standards,
- 4:40SPEAKER_00: the detainees were not given access to commissary,
- 4:43SPEAKER_00: in-person visits with their family,
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: or recreation like TVs, books, and even playing cards.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: Also, the telephones weren't working.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: So they had no way to contact their ICE attorneys or their immigration attorneys.
- 4:56SPEAKER_00: Detainees were not provided with adequate living space, which,
- 5:00SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: we've all seen pictures of them crammed into cells, so that's not a big surprise.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: They were only given about half of the space a typical prisoner would receive.
- 5:09SPEAKER_00: So federal standards require 75 square feet of floor space per inmate.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: They were given 28.
- 5:16SPEAKER_00: Also, none of the housing units had common areas like tables and chairs, etc.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: The only place for the inmates to sit when they were in the housing units were
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: on their bunk beds or like on the floor by their bunk beds.
- 5:30SPEAKER_00: But they spent most of the time in those cramped quarters
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: because they were only given three hours of work time a week.
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: And pictures in the report show like literal metal cages, like fences.
- 5:42SPEAKER_00: Like they went to USA Fence and they were like,
- 5:44SPEAKER_00: hey, build me a cage and throw some
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: bunk beds in there.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: Well, you got to build it on the cheap.
- 5:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 5:51SPEAKER_00: And as punishment, the guards would hold the immigrants in a tiny little cage.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: It honestly looked like an upright coffin made of.
- 6:01SPEAKER_00: And it was in the Florida sun.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: And remember, the facility was in the middle of the Everglades.
- 6:07SPEAKER_00: So the mosquitoes were undoubtedly out of control.
- 6:10SPEAKER_00: I go to the national park that's over there and the state park of Big Cypress.
- 6:15SPEAKER_00: And when I'm there, I'm constantly swatting my arms.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: So I cannot imagine being stuck in that thing for hours and hours and hours.
- 6:22SPEAKER_01: And I read somewhere that,
- 6:25SPEAKER_01: because it's hard to tell from the pictures,
- 6:27SPEAKER_01: that the cages weren't necessarily tall enough for someone to stand up in.
- 6:33SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: They had the dimensions in the report, and I want to say that they said it was eight feet.
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it didn't look that small.
- 6:41SPEAKER_01: So I don't know if that was true or not.
- 6:43SPEAKER_00: Well, sorry about that.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: Somebody was calling me.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: Do you want to read this quote that you...
- 6:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so this is an aide to Governor DeSantis.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: He was talking to NBC News about the cages.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: His name's Alex Lafricone.
- 7:01SPEAKER_01: So the quote is,
- 7:02SPEAKER_01: while it adheres to all federal standards for criminal confinement,
- 7:06SPEAKER_01: which I'm pretty sure is not fucking true, we'd make it even smaller if we could.
- 7:12SPEAKER_00: Actually, completely untrue, as the OIG found.
- 7:17SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, these guys are just monsters.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: They're fucking monsters.
- 7:23SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely awful.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: There was a freezer where food was being stored at unsafe temperatures.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: The OIG inspectors observed the freezer getting increasingly warmer during their visit.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: So they were taking the temperature,
- 7:37SPEAKER_00: I think it was, the freezer was supposed to be at zero degrees Fahrenheit.
- 7:41SPEAKER_00: It was at 10 degrees when they first took it,
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: and then it increased to 14 degrees within an hour.
- 7:45SPEAKER_01: So, you know, good luck keeping your food fresh in there.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 7:49SPEAKER_00: Detainees did not have access to water or cups at the facility.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: When they were asked if they had clean water, they said no.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: I'm sure they were lying.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: You can't trust a detainee.
- 8:00SPEAKER_01: Definitely trust the government.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: The inspector saw their cups like hanging out over by like the bathroom,
- 8:06SPEAKER_00: like upside down on the wall for the bathrooms and like on the end of their bunks
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: and all kinds of weird places.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: So I'm sure those cups were really nasty.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: They were only allowed to shower three times a week.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: The showers were infested with bugs.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Disgusting.
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: They were given toothbrushes to use each day,
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: but if they wanted toothpaste,
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: they had to ask a guard to apply it to their toothbrush,
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: which seems so fucking bizarre to me.
- 8:32SPEAKER_01: Like, what are they going to do with the toothpaste?
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Eat it?
- 8:34SPEAKER_01: Are they going to eat it?
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: The OIG gave DHS a list of 10 recommendations to improve the conditions at
- 8:41SPEAKER_00: the concentration camp.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: But DHS claimed that Florida was in charge of maintaining the day-to-day operations.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: The OIG noted that there were ICE officials at the camp, ICE posters on the wall.
- 8:52SPEAKER_00: Florida officials said in court that DHS was helping to operate it.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: In other words, DHS was lying and refused to take any responsibility whatsoever.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: Shocking.
- 9:06SPEAKER_00: So Florida's immigration detention facilities are notorious for their inhumane conditions.
- 9:10SPEAKER_00: I've talked about this before.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: I've written about this.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: But right down the road from Alligator Alcatraz is Chrome.
- 9:16SPEAKER_00: Chrome is one of the worst immigration detention facilities in the country.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: They've had multiple, multiple records of abuse long before Donald Trump was a thing.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: And it's only gotten worse since he's been in office.
- 9:32SPEAKER_00: At least four deaths have occurred at Chrome that we know of since Trump took office.
- 9:38SPEAKER_00: And as we've said over and over again, this is all because the cruelty is the fucking point.
- 9:45SPEAKER_00: Trump and Republicans have made it clear that they want life at these facilities
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: to be as painful as possible.
- 9:52SPEAKER_00: So that it forces immigrants to sign deportation orders or self-deport
- 9:56SPEAKER_00: before they ever get to those facilities.
- 9:59SPEAKER_00: They are taking a page from Joe Arpaio's book, who,
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 10:04SPEAKER_00: back in the early 2000s and mid-2000s,
- 10:07SPEAKER_00: he had like these really horrible,
- 10:10SPEAKER_00: a really horrible prison camp in Maricopa County,
- 10:13SPEAKER_00: Arizona, where he would force immigrants to wear like pink clothes.
- 10:17SPEAKER_00: Prisoners of all types, but he specifically hated immigrants.
- 10:21SPEAKER_00: He made them wear pink uniforms and live in the desert and eat ketchup packets
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: because he said that he wanted them to leave the country.
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, I'm doing this because I want to make it horrible so they leave the country.
- 10:34SPEAKER_00: And that's exactly what the Trump regime is doing.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: And it's working.
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: My family,
- 10:39SPEAKER_00: this is anecdotal obviously,
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: but we know multiple people who have signed voluntary deportation orders.
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: The father of one of our family members just left with his other kid.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: We know another guy who left.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: We had somebody who was snatched up in his house in Orlando,
- 11:00SPEAKER_00: even though he had TPS and owns a business and has lived here for 26 years legally.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: So it's not just that people are being forced to self-deport, but they're also dying.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: They're dying in these facilities.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: They're dying from ICE agents.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: They're Dying in the fucking road because they got hit by a car because they're afraid.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: It's just, you know, I can't, I'm as angry as my Lexapro will allow this morning.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: But I just cannot describe to you what it's like for immigrants in this country right now.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: You see it on the news,
- 11:39SPEAKER_00: but you can't know what it's like unless you know somebody who's being impacted.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: And, you know,
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: that's why we always say that it's so,
- 11:47SPEAKER_00: so important that we hold these Nazis accountable when this regime falls.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: And it will.
- 11:51SPEAKER_00: He's not going to be here forever.
- 11:52SPEAKER_00: And we can never allow this to happen again.
- 11:55SPEAKER_00: Because believe me, Republicans, this is their normal now.
- 11:59SPEAKER_00: This is how they want to treat immigrants.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: They will never go back to being humane to immigrants.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: They know that they can get away with this now.
- 12:06SPEAKER_01: Which means they'll know they can get away with it with anybody.
- 12:09SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: And the only way that we can stop this from happening again is if we Nuremberg them all.
- 12:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and remember, when the regime falls, and like we keep saying, it will.
- 12:20SPEAKER_01: The first words out of the legacy press's mouth is,
- 12:25SPEAKER_01: we have to come together for the good of the country.
- 12:28SPEAKER_01: Never.
- 12:29SPEAKER_01: And the way we come together...
- 12:30SPEAKER_01: It can't be, we can't, we can't.
- 12:45SPEAKER_01: We coddle them and say, no, we understand your rage.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: We understand your white grievance and how angry you were.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: We get it.
- 12:56SPEAKER_01: It's like, no, no, no, no.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: You have to understand that your white grievance This is a cancer,
- 13:02SPEAKER_01: and we're going to cut it out and put it in a little fucking prison cell,
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: and you're going to fester there for 20 to 25 years.
- 13:12SPEAKER_01: And when you get out, you'll be old, and then you can be overwhelmed.
- 13:15SPEAKER_01: That's how you can spend your old age,
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: screaming in your shit-filled diaper at all the people that you hated so much.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: Or you can just
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: Go live in a fucking trailer park and overdose on meth.
- 13:33SPEAKER_01: And no one will care because nothing of value will have been lost.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: These people have to understand this will not happen again
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: because we will not allow it to happen again.
- 13:45SPEAKER_01: There has to be consequences.
- 13:47SPEAKER_01: The reason they keep doing this and getting worse every time is
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: because every time they're out of power, there are no fucking consequences for them.
- 13:56SPEAKER_00: Like I have always said,
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: if we hadn't hung in the Confederates in 1865, this would be happening today.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 14:02SPEAKER_00: Exactly.
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: If we'd hung the Confederates,
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: if we'd hung the business plot,
- 14:07SPEAKER_01: if we'd hung the fucking Nazis when they fucking were running around the country in
- 14:12SPEAKER_01: the 1940s,
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: if we'd gone after the Reagan administration after all of their crimes,
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: if we'd gone after the Bush administration after all of their crimes,
- 14:21SPEAKER_01: if the January Sixers had been in prison along with their leader,
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: Donald Trump, none of this would be happening.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: But we keep going.
- 14:29SPEAKER_01: Man, we just have to understand the anger of white people.
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: I mean, they're so oppressed in America.
- 14:36SPEAKER_01: Don't you just feel bad for them?
- 14:38SPEAKER_01: Can't we just move on?
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: No.
- 14:40SPEAKER_01: Fuck these people.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: Nuremberg them all.
- 14:42SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 14:43SPEAKER_00: Nuremberg them all.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: Nuremberg them all.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: We need shirts that say that.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 14:47SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 14:48SPEAKER_01: I keep thinking about making them and selling them online.
- 14:51SPEAKER_01: I'm sure I would sell a gazillion of them.
- 14:56SPEAKER_01: All right, now let us move on to this week's SCOTUS ruling on mail-in voting.
- 15:03SPEAKER_01: Despite Alito and Thomas dissenting,
- 15:05SPEAKER_01: the Supreme Court,
- 15:06SPEAKER_01: even with the six most corrupt justices in America,
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: They're not allowing Donald Trump to use the post office to decide who gets
- 15:15SPEAKER_01: the vote.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: On Monday,
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: the justices finally decided enough is enough and ruled that Trump cannot use
- 15:22SPEAKER_01: the post office to stop mail-in ballots from being sent out to voters for the vote.
- 15:26SPEAKER_01: Remember, Trump was desperately trying to interfere with mail-in voting.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: He's been doing this for years,
- 15:32SPEAKER_01: screaming about mail-in voting,
- 15:35SPEAKER_01: and then he decided to just go all in and have the post office literally block
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: And even though he exclusively only votes by mail-in voting,
- 15:47SPEAKER_01: in order to swing elections for Republicans, he wanted to tamper with it.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: So the majority wrote,
- 15:52SPEAKER_01: and they didn't just do like a shadow docket thing where they just said no
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: and didn't say anything.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: They were very explicit.
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: They wrote that Trump's attempt to implement restrictions was likely to fail,
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: but they didn't get into the full details of why since it was an emergency order.
- 16:08SPEAKER_01: But still, they said no.
- 16:10SPEAKER_01: Alito and Thomas, on the other hand, ever the...
- 16:14SPEAKER_01: We're super, super mad about this.
- 16:17SPEAKER_01: Alito wrote to dissent and Thomas joined and claimed that
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: the Postal Service had broad authority to regulate the mail,
- 16:23SPEAKER_01: including mail-in voting.
- 16:25SPEAKER_01: He also argued that some of the plaintiffs lack standing, which is absolute bullshit.
- 16:31SPEAKER_01: The Post Office does not have the authority to regulate mail-in voting.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: I mean, that's insane.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: It's hard to explain in any more clarity just how black and white the lettering of
- 16:47SPEAKER_01: the Constitution is when it comes to voting.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: The executive branch has no authority over voting.
- 16:54SPEAKER_01: None whatsoever.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: Congress does.
- 16:57SPEAKER_01: The states do.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: The executive branch, of which the Postal is part of, does not.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: So Kavanaugh, of course, joined the majority to block the changes.
- 17:09SPEAKER_01: But he said, well, that's for the midterms because it's so close.
- 17:15SPEAKER_01: But he might vote in favor of his little fascist daddy if the issue comes before him again.
- 17:21SPEAKER_01: This is what he wrote.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: Basically telling them, try again after the midterms and maybe we'll let you do it for 2028.
- 17:28SPEAKER_01: Go for it.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: He lost his fucking mind over this.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: He went on possibly the longest extended rant on social or whatever.
- 18:06SPEAKER_01: It was a big fucking And he also, it is explicitly clear.
- 18:29SPEAKER_01: That this was a huge loss for Republicans,
- 18:33SPEAKER_01: which is a really weird thing to say that people being able to vote legally is
- 18:38SPEAKER_01: a really bad thing for Republicans.
- 18:40SPEAKER_01: But of course, he's not supposed to say the quiet part out loud.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: But he did.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: Trump.
- 18:46SPEAKER_01: The thing about this is that this was his last best shot at rigging the elections
- 18:54SPEAKER_01: without doing something really, really fucking over-the-top crazy.
- 19:01SPEAKER_01: His only real options left now are having the FBI show up at
- 19:08SPEAKER_01: the fucking polling stations,
- 19:10SPEAKER_01: sending ICE to the polling stations,
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: and they do not have the manpower to do this properly.
- 19:15SPEAKER_01: They don't have enough agents,
- 19:17SPEAKER_01: ICE and FBI combined,
- 19:19SPEAKER_01: to show up at enough polling stations in order to really fuck with the election.
- 19:25SPEAKER_01: They just don't, especially considering how large this wave election is going to be.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: Like, they might chase away some people.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: They're not going to chase away enough people.
- 19:36SPEAKER_01: And he's not going to be able to go to court afterwards and say,
- 19:41SPEAKER_01: I want to throw out all the votes in all of these different districts and all
- 19:48SPEAKER_01: of these different elections because it's true.
- 19:50SPEAKER_01: It's too much.
- 19:51SPEAKER_01: That's the problem with rigging the midterms, which is why they generally
- 20:06SPEAKER_01: Don't bother.
- 20:07SPEAKER_01: It's easier to rig the presidential election because you just have to focus on the president.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: You can sort of tamper with the rest of it,
- 20:16SPEAKER_01: but you just have to focus on flipping one person's votes.
- 20:20SPEAKER_01: Not one person, but like the one name on the ballot, right?
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: Flip it from Harris to Trump.
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: It's too difficult to flip all the rest.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: It's too complicated.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: It's too messy.
- 20:31SPEAKER_01: And it becomes too obvious if you have all of these districts that were all one.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: We always talk about it has to be plausible.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: And it's not plausible that Republicans are at their moment.
- 20:50SPEAKER_01: Most unpopular in over 20 years suddenly won.
- 20:56SPEAKER_01: They had to lose three seats and they somehow did it in a midterm
- 21:01SPEAKER_01: where everything's going badly for Republicans,
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: but somehow they won the popular vote.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: No one's going to believe that.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: Everyone's going to look at it and say, well, you fucked with the vote tallies.
- 21:12SPEAKER_01: We can all tell you fucked with the vote tallies.
- 21:14SPEAKER_01: What?
- 21:15SPEAKER_01: Republicans won in California.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: They won in New York.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: Of course they didn't.
- 21:20SPEAKER_01: Everyone knows you fucked with the vote.
- 21:22SPEAKER_01: We can all see that you didn't.
- 21:24SPEAKER_01: And even this Supreme Court is not going to throw out millions of votes
- 21:29SPEAKER_01: to give Republicans wins in places where everybody knows that they lost.
- 21:33SPEAKER_01: If they're not willing to do this,
- 21:35SPEAKER_01: they're not going to be willing to do that because they're trying to maintain.
- 21:39SPEAKER_01: So, good luck to them.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: Whew.
- 22:07SPEAKER_00: Well, if you guys would like to throw us a small tip,
- 22:10SPEAKER_00: the QR codes for both PayPal and Venmo are up on the screen.
- 22:15SPEAKER_00: We have no sponsors or advertisers and probably never will because Ogre is Ogre.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: I am just nothing but lightness and sweetness.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: I don't know what you're talking about.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: So we appreciate anything you can send our way.
- 22:30SPEAKER_00: And we have two college students.
- 22:32SPEAKER_00: Believe me, they're so expensive.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: We do.
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: Good lordy.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: It's like they need money all the time or something.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: Go on.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 22:40SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: Let us move on to scenes from a crashing economy.
- 22:44SPEAKER_01: We haven't done this in a bit, but oh boy, we need to talk about it.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: So economic kaboom is back on the menu, boys.
- 22:57SPEAKER_01: If you have not been following Trump's stupid war in the Middle East,
- 23:02SPEAKER_01: the Houthis have shut down the Red Sea.
- 23:06SPEAKER_01: And this is really, really They've seized the coastline.
- 23:12SPEAKER_01: They've seized several islands in the Red Sea.
- 23:15SPEAKER_01: And they have closed the—I'm not even going to try to pronounce the Strait over there.
- 23:21SPEAKER_01: It's not as easy to say as the Strait of Hormuz.
- 23:24SPEAKER_01: I think it's called the Strait of Tears,
- 23:26SPEAKER_01: which, you know, considering how much pain we're all about to be in, accurate.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: Anyway, a little sidebar here.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Do not cheer the fucking Houthis.
- 23:37SPEAKER_01: Yes, they're causing lots of headaches for the Trump regime.
- 23:42SPEAKER_01: That does not make them the fucking good guys.
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: I wrote an article about this two years ago when the Houthis Houthis were starting
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: to step into the whole Israel-Gaza thing.
- 23:56SPEAKER_01: They were starting to launch missiles at Israeli ships and trying to launch missiles at Israel.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: And people were cheering for the Houthis because they were...
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: They were taking on the colonial power and blah, blah, blah, because Israel's the bad guys.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: And yes, Israel were the bad guys, but the Houthis are modern-day slavers.
- 24:18SPEAKER_01: They kidnap children, rape them, and then sell them into fucking sexual slavery.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: They also force them into child warfare.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: They use them.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: They have child soldiers, which universally we understand is a bad thing.
- 24:33SPEAKER_01: We all get that.
- 24:34SPEAKER_01: There is no, well, yeah, but.
- 24:38SPEAKER_01: No, there is no well, but.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: That's fucked up.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: We've been bitching about that for decades when we started hearing
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: about it coming out of Africa.
- 24:47SPEAKER_01: We don't fucking...
- 24:48SPEAKER_01: So child soldiers, slavery, pedophilia, we don't cheer for those pedophiles.
- 25:03SPEAKER_01: Even if they're doing something that we approve of, they're still monsters.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: So don't cheer for the fucking Houthis, ever, under any circumstances.
- 25:15SPEAKER_01: It's okay when both sides are equal.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: So anyway, back to the economic boom that's coming.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is now down to its lowest level since 1983
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: and they're still draining it.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: We are now getting up to the physical limit of what we're capable of pulling out
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: before the cave starts bucking because it's in big salt caverns
- 25:50SPEAKER_01: and you can't drain them completely or these salt caverns will collapse.
- 25:54SPEAKER_01: So we're starting to get to that point.
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: It's funny because I didn't know that you taught me that.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: And I knew, I mean, I knew it was in caverns.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: I just didn't know that.
- 26:03SPEAKER_01: I just assumed it's like, well, sure, but the caverns were there before we put stuff into it.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: So why couldn't we drain it?
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: It's like, nope, that's not how it works.
- 26:09SPEAKER_01: Once you fill that shit up,
- 26:10SPEAKER_01: if you drain it,
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: it will fucking start to cave in,
- 26:13SPEAKER_01: which will make What's left in there,
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: impossible or just really, really hard to get to.
- 26:19SPEAKER_01: And the military does not want us to do that because if we need an emergency,
- 26:24SPEAKER_01: they need to be able to get to it.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: So we're starting to get down to the physical limit of what we can get to.
- 26:30SPEAKER_01: But Trump is going to keep doing it because as soon as we stop pulling from
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: the Strategic Petroleum Reserve,
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: there's going to be a real hard spike in gas prices.
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: I mean, look, I think gas hit...
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: What was it?
- 26:44SPEAKER_00: Diesel hits more than $6.31.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: It's $6.50 here.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: Naturally, it's the highest it's ever been in history.
- 26:52SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 26:53SPEAKER_01: Friday, last week, it hit $6 for the first time ever.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: Now we're up to $6.31.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: So it's just every day, it's just a new record.
- 27:01SPEAKER_01: We're number one.
- 27:03SPEAKER_01: Trump is trying to blame Ukraine for that, but that's bullshit.
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: That ain't That new increase didn't kick in until the Houthis shut down the Red Sea
- 27:12SPEAKER_01: because Saudi Arabia was pumping its oil.
- 27:15SPEAKER_01: Originally, it was sending it through the Strait of Hormuz, of course.
- 27:19SPEAKER_01: But they had a pipeline built explicitly across their country so they could send it
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: through the Red Sea if the Strait of Hormuz was closed.
- 27:28SPEAKER_01: They were thinking ahead.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: Okay, good for them.
- 27:31SPEAKER_01: But now the Houthis have closed the other way that they could get the oil out.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: So now Saudi Arabia can't send out anything.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: And that was one of the ways that we were keeping the price of oil.
- 27:45SPEAKER_01: Saudi Arabia is the second or third largest population.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: So they were getting out a decent amount and enough to keep it from spiraling out of control.
- 28:08SPEAKER_01: Now nothing's getting out.
- 28:10SPEAKER_01: So now we're going to go back into that spiral.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: Yay.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: We're not going to run out of oil.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: We're not going to have no oil.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: We produce oil.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: And we can keep gas stations from just going dry here.
- 28:29SPEAKER_01: But it is going to get increasingly more expensive.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: And now northern states are starting to run into colder weather,
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: which we talked about last week.
- 28:39SPEAKER_01: The oil prices are going up, which means heating is about to go up.
- 28:44SPEAKER_01: Oh, what?
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: Which means people are going to die because they're not going to be able
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: to afford their gas at all.
- 28:49SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 28:50SPEAKER_01: It's going to be fucking crazy.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: And of course,
- 28:52SPEAKER_01: as Thierry points out,
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: Trump shut down all kinds of alternative energy projects already underway,
- 28:58SPEAKER_01: which means the things that we could have done to offset that problem,
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: Trump got rid of them because...
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: He doesn't like wind and blah, blah, blah.
- 29:06SPEAKER_01: And he got paid a lot of money from fossil fuel companies to shut down green energy.
- 29:11SPEAKER_01: So that means with diesel going so high, groceries are going to go up.
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: Everything else is going to go up because everything gets delivered on trucks
- 29:19SPEAKER_01: that run on diesel.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 29:21SPEAKER_01: Now, it's not clear that Kevin Warren...
- 29:35SPEAKER_01: Warsh is going to actually obey his master or if he's going to do what Economics 101 demands.
- 29:43SPEAKER_01: But either way, we're in for pain.
- 29:45SPEAKER_01: It's just a matter of how much pain.
- 29:48SPEAKER_01: Are we going to be in interest rates going up pain,
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: which is what you have to do when inflation is up this high?
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: Or is he going to lower it because Trump told him to,
- 30:01SPEAKER_01: which is going to make things so much fucking worse?
- 30:04SPEAKER_01: And on top of all that,
- 30:06SPEAKER_01: we've got the Canadian tariffs are going to be kicking in
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: because Trump is still going after this fucking trade war with Canada because he's
- 30:14SPEAKER_01: a moron.
- 30:15SPEAKER_00: It's just so weird to be fighting with Canada.
- 30:19SPEAKER_01: Now, the press keeps publishing.
- 30:21SPEAKER_01: Trump says stories like Trump says the Strait of Hormuz is open and deal
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: with Iran is closed and the war is going to be over after the midterms
- 30:29SPEAKER_01: and trade deal with Canada is happening soon.
- 30:32SPEAKER_01: But he says that.
- 30:34SPEAKER_01: Constantly.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: Non-stop.
- 30:36SPEAKER_01: And nothing ever happens.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: It's a week later.
- 30:40SPEAKER_01: It's still closed.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: There's no deal with Iran.
- 30:43SPEAKER_01: And we're still fucking fighting with Canada.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: It's just market manipulation.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: Trump says he's going to give everyone $5,000 and a free unicorn and ice cream for life.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: And also, he's not a pedophile right now.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: Oh my god, I want a free unicorn.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: I know, right?
- 30:59SPEAKER_01: We can buy it with our $5,000 check.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: It's coming right along with our tariff check and our...
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: The Doge check.
- 31:08SPEAKER_01: The Doge are redid.
- 31:09SPEAKER_01: It's all coming.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: It's all coming.
- 31:10SPEAKER_01: He promises.
- 31:11SPEAKER_01: Only if I vote for Republicans, though.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: But only if you vote for Republicans.
- 31:15SPEAKER_01: And, you know, if it doesn't come, it's because the post office stopped it.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: So it's insane.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: It's fucking crazy.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: And he's just doing everything possible to wreck the economy.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: So good luck.
- 31:28SPEAKER_01: And if you haven't been getting ready for it,
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: like we've been talking about for the last year and change,
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: I don't know what to tell you.
- 31:34SPEAKER_01: We told you this was coming and it's just going to get worse.
- 31:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a lot to look forward to, right?
- 31:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: So, so awesome.
- 31:45SPEAKER_00: So, well,
- 31:46SPEAKER_00: while all that's happening,
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent continues to prove he's a clown,
- 31:52SPEAKER_00: which, you know, honestly, not hard to do.
- 31:57SPEAKER_00: As the bond market repeatedly punches him in the face.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: There's a major sell-off of U.S.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: government bonds taking place that's causing borrowing costs to rise.
- 32:07SPEAKER_00: And what happens when borrowing costs increase?
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: Ah, that's right.
- 32:10SPEAKER_00: American companies, households, financial markets, and the federal budget all feel the pain.
- 32:16SPEAKER_00: You know, on top of the gas prices and the inflation and all of the other things.
- 32:23SPEAKER_00: So there was a time when foreign investors had a really big appetite for U.S. debt.
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: That's because the bonds were considered safe.
- 32:31SPEAKER_01: Not just safe, like permanent safe, like super safe.
- 32:36SPEAKER_00: And while they didn't have a really large return,
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: they had a return,
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: and it was just stable,
- 32:45SPEAKER_00: and they knew that they could make money from it, so they bought it, right?
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: Well...
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: Trump has changed all that by taking a sledgehammer to our economy and reputation.
- 32:53SPEAKER_00: The massive increases in our deficit are also hurting us
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: because foreign investors are like, ooh, they have a lot of debt.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: Do I really want to buy that?
- 33:02SPEAKER_00: So they're moving away from U.S. debt.
- 33:04SPEAKER_00: They're also betting on the market or they're now like putting more money into
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: the stock market and into investments that are promising higher returns,
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: which is,
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 33:16SPEAKER_00: if you think about it,
- 33:18SPEAKER_00: it's interesting that they're moving away from the safe ones and putting their money
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: in stuff that could yield them nothing really in the long term, but whatever.
- 33:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're less risky than the stock market now.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's what I'm trying to say.
- 33:32SPEAKER_01: How capable is that?
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: So the shift proves that foreign investors aren't buying the bullshit that Bessett
- 33:39SPEAKER_00: and Trump have been selling the world,
- 33:43SPEAKER_00: really, about the American economy being the best in the whole wide world.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: Look at it.
- 33:48SPEAKER_00: It's growing.
- 33:49SPEAKER_00: It's most amazing.
- 33:50SPEAKER_00: It's the best it's ever been.
- 33:53SPEAKER_00: James Turner,
- 33:54SPEAKER_00: the head of global fixed income for EMEA at BlackRock,
- 33:59SPEAKER_00: explained, quote, government bonds are not as risk-free as they used to be.
- 34:03SPEAKER_00: With government deficits where they are,
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: if that was a corporate entity, you would not say that it was a risk-free situation.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: Because if you have a company that is on the verge of bankruptcy,
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: are you really going to buy their debt?
- 34:17SPEAKER_00: Absolutely fucking not.
- 34:19SPEAKER_00: You're not going to get your money back.
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: So what is Bessett's solution?
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: What do you think?
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: Lie through his teeth.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: Yes, well, kind of, that too.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: He told the press that we can just grow our way out of debt with consumer tax cuts,
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: investments in AI, and manufacturing.
- 34:37SPEAKER_00: In other words,
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: he's a fucking moron who has the economic proudness of a three-year-old at
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: a candy store.
- 34:44SPEAKER_01: That's going to be amazing.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: They're trying desperately to destroy the American dollar so they can replace it
- 34:50SPEAKER_01: with crypto, and that's not going to go the way they think it will.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: And just,
- 34:55SPEAKER_00: if you're watching us live right now,
- 34:56SPEAKER_00: sorry that my camera's off with Mr.
- 34:58SPEAKER_00: Florida Woman Tom, and I don't want him to wander onto the shower.
- 35:04SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 35:05SPEAKER_01: So remember, if you haven't been paying attention, AI is going to kill us all.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: We're all doomed.
- 35:12SPEAKER_01: The human race is going to get wiped out.
- 35:14SPEAKER_01: Artificial intelligence is coming for us.
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: It's going to be Terminator.
- 35:17SPEAKER_01: But not really.
- 35:20SPEAKER_01: If you've watched or read the news at all for the last two weeks,
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: there's been a huge amount of panic in the media about this.
- 35:28SPEAKER_01: But it's all bullshit.
- 35:30SPEAKER_00: Well, I do think there is some reason to be concerned there.
- 35:33SPEAKER_01: Not the kind of hype that they're delivering.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: Alright,
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: so they're talking about how AI is going to essentially become intelligent and
- 35:44SPEAKER_01: then turn on humans.
- 35:45SPEAKER_01: Substack, The Opinionated Ogre, opinionatedogre.com
- 36:03SPEAKER_01: Not because it's malicious or because, you know, it's like, oh, humans are a threat.
- 36:07SPEAKER_01: I'll have to wipe out just because it's dumb because it's dumb.
- 36:10SPEAKER_01: Like the fact that they want to put, you know, AI in charge of military weapons.
- 36:16SPEAKER_01: That's insane that they're doing that because, oh,
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: I just launched a rocket at China because I malfunctioned because I'm
- 36:24SPEAKER_01: a badly programmed fucking AI.
- 36:27SPEAKER_01: And now we're at war with China.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: Because of a badly programmed AI.
- 36:31SPEAKER_01: That's way more likely than what they're talking about.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: Well, they're also concerned because,
- 36:37SPEAKER_00: what is it,
- 36:38SPEAKER_00: Anthropic released a report that AI was being used to try
- 36:44SPEAKER_00: to develop biological weapons.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and that's a completely different problem.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: And they managed to stop it.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: So I think that that,
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 36:53SPEAKER_00: in concert with the other concerns is really what's caused the outrage in the media
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: or the...
- 37:00SPEAKER_01: But what they're doing right now is they're begging the government for regulations.
- 37:05SPEAKER_01: Like, please make us stop.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: Pretty please.
- 37:07SPEAKER_01: We, an industry literally run by people famous for embracing fascism because we're
- 37:12SPEAKER_01: so violently opposed to the rule of law, suddenly want government oversight.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: Honest.
- 37:19SPEAKER_01: We really want that.
- 37:20SPEAKER_01: This is bullshit.
- 37:21SPEAKER_01: There's two things going on here.
- 37:23SPEAKER_01: One, they want control of the government oversight.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: They don't want actual government oversight because
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: if there's actual government oversight,
- 37:33SPEAKER_01: the government will tell them to stop doing things they don't want to stop doing.
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: So they want to be in control.
- 37:39SPEAKER_01: If you look at the things that they're proposing,
- 37:44SPEAKER_01: it's third party regulation, but they're in control of the third party.
- 37:48SPEAKER_01: So it's not really third party.
- 37:50SPEAKER_01: It's them being, they want to regulate.
- 37:54SPEAKER_01: That always works.
- 37:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:56SPEAKER_01: And make believe it's the government regulating them.
- 37:58SPEAKER_01: And what they also want is they want antitrust regulation so they can conspire
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: among themselves in order to basically run the market and
- 38:10SPEAKER_01: then make themselves all very, very rich and even more powerful.
- 38:13SPEAKER_01: But what they really want is full government buy it.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: Because their entire business model is a Ponzi scheme.
- 38:26SPEAKER_01: We've talked about this.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: They're spending trillions of dollars and they're only making billions in revenue.
- 38:33SPEAKER_01: And we're not talking hundreds of billions.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: We're talking tens of billions.
- 38:37SPEAKER_01: And they're spending trillions on hardware.
- 38:41SPEAKER_01: And there's no possibility of them making this money back,
- 38:47SPEAKER_01: which means the bubble's going to pop.
- 38:49SPEAKER_01: And what they want is full government buy-in.
- 38:53SPEAKER_01: So when the bubble pops, the government will say, oh, man, it's just too big to fail.
- 38:59SPEAKER_01: And now we have to have a trillion dollar bailout for the AI companies.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: It just,
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: if you think about it, really, that's how Republicans operate at every single level.
- 39:11SPEAKER_00: Trump building the White House ballroom.
- 39:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, well, let's build it until they can't.
- 39:15SPEAKER_00: They have to let it continue.
- 39:17SPEAKER_00: It can't fail, right?
- 39:18SPEAKER_00: The banks, fucking AI.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's what they do every time.
- 39:23SPEAKER_01: It's just they destroy everything.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: And then, well...
- 39:26SPEAKER_01: Man, we wish we could just not have to do it, but we need all of your money.
- 39:32SPEAKER_01: Give it to us now.
- 39:33SPEAKER_00: Right, because as we've talked about on this podcast before,
- 39:35SPEAKER_00: AI is what's artificially propping up the economy right now,
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: so that's what they'll use.
- 39:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it's really important to understand that Trump has hundreds of millions,
- 39:47SPEAKER_01: if not millions, Literally billions of dollars of his money tied up in AI.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: Didn't he call him Golden Goose?
- 39:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's why he's out there screaming that we don't need regulation.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: That's why data centers are awesome and he's pro-flock cameras.
- 40:03SPEAKER_01: And no, AI isn't dangerous.
- 40:05SPEAKER_01: That's all a hoax.
- 40:06SPEAKER_01: His stock portfolio is 30% to 35% AI,
- 40:10SPEAKER_01: and he stands to lose a ton of fucking money if that stock
- 40:14SPEAKER_01: and his crypto become worthless.
- 40:16SPEAKER_01: So he's getting in the way of anything right now.
- 40:19SPEAKER_01: And this is why presidents and congresspeople shouldn't have stock in
- 40:23SPEAKER_01: the companies they're supposed to regulate by.
- 40:26SPEAKER_01: Here we are.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: Don't worry.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: I'm sure the Supreme Court will say this.
- 40:30SPEAKER_01: I'm personally looking forward to when they pass regulation and then
- 40:33SPEAKER_01: the Supreme Court says, well, actually, we understand AI better than Congress does.
- 40:37SPEAKER_01: So we're going to say no to every regulation because our billionaire owners told us no.
- 40:43SPEAKER_01: Ugh.
- 40:43SPEAKER_01: Just, just incredible.
- 40:46SPEAKER_01: So, which, well,
- 40:47SPEAKER_01: Timmy says the increase in the stock market is based
- 40:49SPEAKER_01: on extremely over-leveraged AI industry.
- 40:52SPEAKER_01: And yeah, we are.
- 40:53SPEAKER_01: We're going to end up bailing out the motherfucking billionaires.
- 40:56SPEAKER_01: That's exactly what they're trying to do.
- 40:58SPEAKER_01: It's going to be, wow.
- 41:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's going to be good times for us.
- 41:03SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, very exciting.
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: Well, on to headlines for short attention spans.
- 41:07SPEAKER_01: Headlines for short attention spans.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: So guess what, guys?
- 41:13SPEAKER_00: You're going to be totally shocked to learn that the very,
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: very rich Donald Trump Jr.
- 41:20SPEAKER_00: and his equally rich new wife,
- 41:22SPEAKER_00: whose name I can't remember or care to learn,
- 41:25SPEAKER_00: had their post-wedding celebrations paid for by a very dear friend
- 41:29SPEAKER_00: of Vladimir Putin's, Russian oligarch, Umar Kremlin.
- 41:34SPEAKER_01: His name sounds like Kremlin.
- 41:35SPEAKER_01: I mean, Jesus Christ, could you think it's any more fucking obvious stuff?
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: And when I say that Donald Trump Jr.
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: is very rich, I mean that his net worth is upwards of $200 million.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: So this is not a person who needs anything paid for.
- 41:50SPEAKER_00: Nope.
- 41:51SPEAKER_00: ProPublica is the ones who let the cat out of the bag this week.
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: Jr.
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: later confirmed the reporting by thanking the Russian oligarch for hosting two days
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: of partying that spanned multiple islands in the Bahamas.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: Daddy Trump's response was basically, who cares?
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: My baby boy can accept all the gifts he wants from foreign billionaires.
- 42:14SPEAKER_00: It's totally ethical.
- 42:16SPEAKER_00: And the Russians weren't trying to buy access at all.
- 42:18SPEAKER_00: They already own me.
- 42:21SPEAKER_00: But in all seriousness,
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: he did really say he was just getting a gift and he's not in the government.
- 42:29SPEAKER_00: So the media is reporting this news,
- 42:32SPEAKER_00: but with none of the enthusiasm that it reported the unfounded allegations
- 42:36SPEAKER_00: against Hunter Biden.
- 42:39SPEAKER_00: I wish I would have checked to see what Hunter Biden is saying about all this.
- 42:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, I'm sure he's got some spicy retorts there.
- 42:47SPEAKER_00: Because Hunter Biden has called out the little boy Trumps before because they have
- 42:52SPEAKER_00: a club in Washington,
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: D.C. where you have to pay like $100,000 to be a member of the club.
- 42:57SPEAKER_00: And they literally advertise being close to the Trump regime with this membership.
- 43:02SPEAKER_01: Oh, I remember he had shit to say about that.
- 43:04SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: Like, they're actually selling access all the time.
- 43:08SPEAKER_00: Republicans in Congress have not launched investigations.
- 43:11SPEAKER_00: And in fact,
- 43:12SPEAKER_00: when Bug Eyes was asked about it yesterday,
- 43:14SPEAKER_00: Ricky was like,
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: oh, we're going to do what the FBI always does when it gets information.
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: We will analyze it.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 43:22SPEAKER_00: Sure you will.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 43:23SPEAKER_01: And Todd Blanchard's like, what am I supposed to investigate?
- 43:26SPEAKER_01: Investigate what?
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 43:28SPEAKER_00: And nobody's trying to arrest Junior and his new wife.
- 43:32SPEAKER_00: Nothing to see here.
- 43:33SPEAKER_00: Totally normal.
- 43:34SPEAKER_00: You'll also be shocked to learn that Daddy Donald is now calling on Ukraine
- 43:38SPEAKER_00: to stop bombing Russian oil refineries.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: We're pretty sure it has nothing to do with the untold amount of money
- 43:46SPEAKER_00: that his family has received from the Russian oligarch and Putin.
- 43:50SPEAKER_00: And, of course, the media is not trying to connect those dots either.
- 43:53SPEAKER_00: Because if your name's not Biden, who cares, right?
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: They're un-fucking-believable.
- 43:58SPEAKER_01: Un-fucking-believable.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: For years,
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: for years,
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: it was nothing but Hunter Biden's laptop,
- 44:05SPEAKER_01: Hunter Biden's laptop, Hunter Biden's laptop.
- 44:07SPEAKER_01: Just the appearance, the appearance of impropriety for Hunter Biden.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: And they did the same thing with Clinton.
- 44:13SPEAKER_01: Just the appearance of impropriety.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: Just the appearance of, you know, just something untoward.
- 44:19SPEAKER_01: Just the appearance was enough to hang out.
- 44:23SPEAKER_01: And now they're like, well, what are you going to do?
- 44:25SPEAKER_01: He's not in the...
- 44:28SPEAKER_00: He doesn't work for the government.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: It's like, okay.
- 44:32SPEAKER_00: Of course,
- 44:33SPEAKER_00: when Jerry Kushner worked for the government and he got billions of dollars
- 44:37SPEAKER_00: in contracts with foreign nations, that didn't matter either.
- 44:41SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 44:43SPEAKER_01: They do not hold Republicans to a lower set of standards.
- 44:47SPEAKER_01: No standards whatsoever.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: There's a lot happening outside of your house right now.
- 44:51SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 44:51SPEAKER_01: It's weird.
- 44:53SPEAKER_01: I think there's lawnmowers having a gang fight out there.
- 44:59SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 45:00SPEAKER_01: So Joe Manchin has endorsed Susan Collins,
- 45:02SPEAKER_01: thus confirming our opinion that he is a piece of shit.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: The spineless former Democrat called Maine's Republican Senate candidate the soul of the Senate.
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: And I guess that's true if soul means voting against And continuing today's theme
- 45:19SPEAKER_01: of Democrats licking the boots of Republicans,
- 45:22SPEAKER_01: John Fetterman recorded a video to be played
- 45:24SPEAKER_01: at Trump's fascist kickstop convention last week,
- 45:27SPEAKER_01: thus guaranteeing he is going to be primary.
- 45:29SPEAKER_01: And let's be super fucking clear about this.
- 45:34SPEAKER_01: When Republicans lose control of the Senate next year and Fetterman leaves
- 45:38SPEAKER_01: the party, first,
- 45:39SPEAKER_01: fuck him,
- 45:40SPEAKER_01: because we're going to have at least a 52-seat majority,
- 45:43SPEAKER_01: so nothing of value will be lost.
- 45:45SPEAKER_01: And second, he should be investigated.
- 45:47SPEAKER_01: And when they find the bribes,
- 45:49SPEAKER_01: because there's definitely fucking bribes involved, he should be fucking arrested.
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: Because the Supreme Court hasn't made it that legal yet.
- 45:57SPEAKER_01: Yet the Oh,
- 45:58SPEAKER_01: and also I found out last night,
- 46:01SPEAKER_01: I've been putting notes, but Fetterman went off to a Fox News retreat in Colorado.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he went and hung out with the Fox News guy.
- 46:10SPEAKER_01: So clearly, you know, he's going
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: to be.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: I am shocked.
- 46:13SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: After he leaves the Senate in two years, you know where he's going to end up.
- 46:17SPEAKER_01: He'll be on there.
- 46:18SPEAKER_01: He'll be on Fox News going, oh, I didn't leave the left.
- 46:22SPEAKER_01: The left left me.
- 46:23SPEAKER_01: That sort of bullshit.
- 46:27SPEAKER_01: I really do
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: think the stroke
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: fucked up his brain.
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: And I'm sure they're going to milk that for everything they can.
- 46:33SPEAKER_01: He'll just be out there bashing Democrats for years.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: I'm sure.
- 46:36SPEAKER_00: That's unfortunate, too.
- 46:39SPEAKER_00: So the Kennedy Center is almost certainly closing.
- 46:44SPEAKER_00: Trump and his flunkies have completely looted it.
- 46:47SPEAKER_00: Fired everyone that actually gave a fuck about it and then drove away all of
- 46:51SPEAKER_00: the acts and donors and theater patrons who weren't MAGA fuckstick.
- 46:56SPEAKER_00: Now the world-famous Center for Performing Arts is bankrupt and the regime is
- 47:00SPEAKER_00: so very sad that they'll have to close it down.
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: Unless Donald Trump is allowed to put his name on it.
- 47:07SPEAKER_01: Oh yes, Trump's gonna swing to the rescue.
- 47:09SPEAKER_01: Which bitch?
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: By the way,
- 47:13SPEAKER_00: Kennedy Center was totally healthy and financially stable in 2023,
- 47:17SPEAKER_00: but now all of a sudden it is not financially stable.
- 47:21SPEAKER_01: Okay, so she's muted at the moment, so I'm going to keep going.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: So no more Kennedy Center until the fascists are gone
- 47:30SPEAKER_01: because what fascists cannot control, they destroy.
- 47:33SPEAKER_01: We just have to hope they don't level the fucking building or deliberately do
- 47:37SPEAKER_01: And honestly,
- 47:38SPEAKER_01: we're going to bet you a shiny nickel that it won't matter what they do to it
- 47:46SPEAKER_01: because artists and millionaires who are fascist fucksticks are going
- 47:51SPEAKER_01: to come crawling out of the woodwork to raise as much money as needed to restore it.
- 47:56SPEAKER_01: The Kennedy Center is beloved and people are going to want it back at the very least
- 48:02SPEAKER_01: as a fuck you to Trump and the fascist.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: Can I just say that I got muted because I was trying to wipe cat hair off of
- 48:09SPEAKER_00: the keyboard and apparently I hit the M.
- 48:12SPEAKER_01: I was wondering, I guess something happened.
- 48:14SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: So Trump's big,
- 48:20SPEAKER_01: important and very serious conspiracy probe is falling apart
- 48:23SPEAKER_01: because he can't find anything and their lead investigator quit.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: This is from CNN.
- 48:28SPEAKER_01: If you don't remember that this whole big conspiracy probe is going That's
- 48:33SPEAKER_01: because nothing's happening.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: It was all bullshit in the first place.
- 48:36SPEAKER_01: The Justice Department's push to pursue a sweeping conspiracy probe
- 48:42SPEAKER_01: into former officials
- 48:44SPEAKER_01: behind investigations targeting President Donald Trump has ascended into turmoil,
- 48:49SPEAKER_01: shocking,
- 48:49SPEAKER_01: and possibly new to blaze following the abrupt resignation of
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: the top prosecutor overseeing the probe.
- 48:55SPEAKER_01: Remember,
- 48:56SPEAKER_01: this is the thing where they were trying to invent a grand conspiracy
- 49:02SPEAKER_01: where everyone was out to get Donald Trump.
- 49:06SPEAKER_01: They were fabricating evidence and yada,
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: yada, yada because Trump had committed all these crimes.
- 49:11SPEAKER_01: And he was being prosecuted for them.
- 49:14SPEAKER_01: So therefore, it was a huge conspiracy.
- 49:17SPEAKER_01: Joe DiGenova,
- 49:19SPEAKER_01: the Washington lawyer and former top prosecutor leading
- 49:22SPEAKER_01: the South Florida-based investigation.
- 49:25SPEAKER_01: The final clash centered on DeGenova's effort to block lawyers dispatched
- 49:29SPEAKER_01: by Justice Department headquarters from assisting the
- 49:45SPEAKER_01: According to the report,
- 49:46SPEAKER_01: one of the issues is that DeGenova expects the federal government to build a skit
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: for him at his office.
- 49:51SPEAKER_01: The DOJ told him to take his lazy ass to an FBI office a few miles away.
- 49:55SPEAKER_01: That's basically what Trump never bothered.
- 50:10SPEAKER_01: He also claimed he needed more attorneys, but had his request denied.
- 50:15SPEAKER_01: With D. Genova gone, Trump officials concerned there could be more delays.
- 50:19SPEAKER_01: Meanwhile,
- 50:19SPEAKER_01: career prosecutors are concerned about a lack of evidence
- 50:22SPEAKER_01: against Trump's political enemies.
- 50:25SPEAKER_01: They can't find anything.
- 50:27SPEAKER_01: And the reason they're trying to make this into a conspiracy is because it extends
- 50:32SPEAKER_01: the statute of limitations when it's a conspiracy,
- 50:35SPEAKER_01: because it's way past five years at this point,
- 50:38SPEAKER_01: and they're not going to find anything because they're It's not a conspiracy
- 50:43SPEAKER_01: when your president is a fucking criminal and he was charged with crimes of
- 50:48SPEAKER_01: which there is a pile of evidence literally 10 feet tall from the box he had stashed
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: in his goddamn bathroom.
- 50:56SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: All right, let us wrap up headlines with some good news here.
- 51:01SPEAKER_01: Democrats are planning to train almost 100,000 volunteers to watch
- 51:05SPEAKER_01: and document Republican election interference.
- 51:08SPEAKER_01: The initiative is called the New Battlefield Project.
- 51:11SPEAKER_01: It will be run by the Associates The volunteers will wear blue vests,
- 51:14SPEAKER_01: so voters will be able to distinguish them from the ones wearing camouflage
- 51:19SPEAKER_01: and carrying guns.
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: No, seriously.
- 51:20SPEAKER_01: They'll be able to distinguish them from the other poll watchers and federal agents, which
- 51:37SPEAKER_01: FBI and ICE are not allowed to be there,
- 51:42SPEAKER_01: but the people running those organizations,
- 51:44SPEAKER_01: Mark Wayne Mullen and Kash Patel,
- 51:48SPEAKER_01: won't rule out sending agents into the polling system.
- 51:52SPEAKER_01: You know, in case they have to do their jobs there, which is bullshit.
- 51:56SPEAKER_01: They know they won't have to do that.
- 51:58SPEAKER_01: But they're threatening to do it anyway because the goal is to disrupt voting.
- 52:02SPEAKER_01: We've already had complaints from Republicans.
- 52:06SPEAKER_01: I think it was in Nebraska.
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: That Trump had poll watchers,
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: poll watchers,
- 52:12SPEAKER_01: and they were harassing people,
- 52:13SPEAKER_01: and they were harassing people so aggressively
- 52:15SPEAKER_01: that Republicans were getting pissed off
- 52:18SPEAKER_01: because state Republicans don't like having their decisions.
- 52:22SPEAKER_01: The results of their elections question.
- 52:24SPEAKER_01: It's like, we're doing our jobs.
- 52:26SPEAKER_01: Remember, this is a red state.
- 52:28SPEAKER_01: They don't want someone coming in there telling them you're fucking around
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: with your elections because
- 52:32SPEAKER_01: that makes them look like they're rigging their elections and they don't like that.
- 52:37SPEAKER_01: And this is really important that we have our people there watching,
- 52:42SPEAKER_01: like being very, very obvious that they're watching because Republicans are cowards.
- 52:48SPEAKER_01: If they know someone is documenting their lawlessness, they're less like I don't know.
- 53:07SPEAKER_01: So, if they know people are watching that and taking pictures of them
- 53:09SPEAKER_01: and definitely fucking taking video of them harassing them,
- 53:13SPEAKER_01: they're not going to be the same.
- 53:14SPEAKER_01: They're not going to be the same.
- 53:22SPEAKER_01: Harassing people.
- 53:23SPEAKER_01: These are state crimes.
- 53:25SPEAKER_01: Trump can't pardon them.
- 53:27SPEAKER_01: They're not protected.
- 53:29SPEAKER_01: So they're going to be much more likely to keep their shit under control and not be
- 53:35SPEAKER_01: the lawless fucking fascists they desperately want to be.
- 53:40SPEAKER_01: Now, the downside of this is that Democrats should have started doing this months ago.
- 53:45SPEAKER_01: They should have started this like five months ago, minimum, and had this ready to go.
- 53:51SPEAKER_01: We'll see.
- 53:52SPEAKER_01: Hopefully they'll meet their goal.
- 53:53SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 53:53SPEAKER_01: You want to take the next one since I took yours?
- 53:56SPEAKER_00: Not really.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: No, because you know that one.
- 54:01SPEAKER_01: I didn't even bother to read it earlier.
- 54:03SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 54:04SPEAKER_01: Trump continues to work extra hard to make sure Democrats are going to win
- 54:08SPEAKER_01: the midterms by pissing off literally everyone.
- 54:12SPEAKER_01: I mentioned this earlier,
- 54:13SPEAKER_01: but in addition to fully supporting Having data centers,
- 54:16SPEAKER_01: something his base deeply opposes, Trump is now a huge fan of clock cameras.
- 54:21SPEAKER_01: That's so weird.
- 54:22SPEAKER_01: It is, but it's something else his base deeply opposes.
- 54:26SPEAKER_01: Quote, I sort of like him because of that,
- 54:28SPEAKER_01: you know, because of law enforcement, Trump said, but some people don't.
- 54:32SPEAKER_01: They think it's an infringement.
- 54:34SPEAKER_01: Trump supports them because it's an AI billionaire company
- 54:39SPEAKER_01: and they're paying him fucking money.
- 54:42SPEAKER_01: I'll bet you money he's got fucking stock in it.
- 54:45SPEAKER_01: Of course he supports it.
- 54:47SPEAKER_00: Also, hasn't immigration been using flat cameras to target immigrants across the country?
- 54:52SPEAKER_00: I will not doubt it.
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: I will not fucking
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: doubt it.
- 54:56SPEAKER_00: It's been a huge, huge,
- 54:57SPEAKER_00: huge problem that they're using the license plates readers across the country
- 55:02SPEAKER_00: to target immigrants.
- 55:03SPEAKER_01: But they've also been abusing the shit out of it.
- 55:05SPEAKER_01: Like, I mean,
- 55:06SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 55:06SPEAKER_01: the cops have been using it to spy on girlfriends and to spy on women
- 55:10SPEAKER_01: because they're creeps.
- 55:11SPEAKER_01: But so they've been abusing the absolute fucking shit out of it.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: And it's no one likes them.
- 55:18SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 55:18SPEAKER_01: The left doesn't like them because privacy.
- 55:21SPEAKER_01: The right doesn't like them because privacy.
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: This is one of those few things that we both sides don't like it for literally
- 55:29SPEAKER_01: the exact same reason.
- 55:31SPEAKER_00: Data centers and flop cameras.
- 55:33SPEAKER_00: We're together here.
- 55:35SPEAKER_00: We're united.
- 55:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and it's weird because we all hate them for mostly the same exact reasons.
- 55:44SPEAKER_01: Even right-wing people will be like,
- 55:46SPEAKER_01: They'll tell you it's really bad for the environment,
- 55:50SPEAKER_01: but not in a big global climate change sort of way,
- 55:52SPEAKER_01: but in a local, I have to breathe this fucking air that this shit is polluting.
- 55:58SPEAKER_01: It's sucking up all the water that I use in my fucking home.
- 56:02SPEAKER_01: And it's loud.
- 56:03SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 56:04SPEAKER_01: And it's noise pollution, too.
- 56:06SPEAKER_01: So it's literally we're all talking about the same thing in the same way.
- 56:11SPEAKER_01: And it's like, well, yeah, they're right.
- 56:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:14SPEAKER_01: Those guys over there, they're right, too.
- 56:15SPEAKER_01: It doesn't matter if they're fucking hippies.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: It's like, yeah, it doesn't matter if they're MAGA.
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: We're all complaining about the same fucking thing in the same way.
- 56:23SPEAKER_00: But that's why Trump is starting to talk about it.
- 56:25SPEAKER_00: And you see the right wing trying to sell data centers to people because,
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 56:31SPEAKER_00: I've talked about this before,
- 56:32SPEAKER_00: but I worked for a conservative and bipartisan news site during COVID.
- 56:37SPEAKER_00: And at first they were all very like, Oh, you know, spray your groceries, do all of this.
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: They were telling people to do things that are,
- 56:44SPEAKER_00: the conservative sites were telling people to do things to keep safe.
- 56:47SPEAKER_00: But then as soon as the right-wing talking heads started,
- 56:49SPEAKER_00: like, pushing the anti-COVID message, everybody followed.
- 56:53SPEAKER_00: And everybody started pushing it.
- 56:54SPEAKER_00: And then you saw the base go, oh, oh, this is nothing to be scared of.
- 56:59SPEAKER_00: Let's take ivermectin.
- 57:01SPEAKER_01: I don't know that's going to work with this, though.
- 57:05SPEAKER_00: You would have thought that it wouldn't have worked with a global pandemic
- 57:07SPEAKER_00: that was killing 100,000 people.
- 57:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but they already distrust large companies and AI is fucking,
- 57:17SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 57:18SPEAKER_01: AI is taking away jobs and AI is fucking, like,
- 57:20SPEAKER_01: you can go into a community and say,
- 57:22SPEAKER_01: yeah, this fucking data set is fucking up my home.
- 57:24SPEAKER_01: It's going to be hard to convince people that AI is good for their home.
- 57:28SPEAKER_01: I guess, but their family was dying.
- 57:31SPEAKER_00: I guess,
- 57:32SPEAKER_00: but their family members were literally dying and they were able to be convinced
- 57:36SPEAKER_00: that COVID was not as bad as we said it was.
- 57:38SPEAKER_01: So we're going
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: to see.
- 57:40SPEAKER_00: We'll have to see.
- 57:41SPEAKER_00: I have no faith in that.
- 57:42SPEAKER_01: And definitely the privacy thing is like,
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 57:44SPEAKER_01: it's like, yeah,
- 57:45SPEAKER_01: what happens if a Democrat's in office and they have access to all
- 57:48SPEAKER_01: the flat cameras now?
- 57:49SPEAKER_01: Are you still going to be in favor of that?
- 57:51SPEAKER_01: Of course not.
- 57:52SPEAKER_01: Neither would we, right?
- 57:53SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
- 57:56SPEAKER_01: But Trump is just out there going,
- 57:58SPEAKER_01: oh, no, I love this stuff, while his base is really fucking mad about it.
- 58:03SPEAKER_01: There's Republicans, elected officials right now.
- 58:06SPEAKER_01: Florida and Texas are like, hey, maybe let's dial it back a bit with the flock cameras.
- 58:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, my county banned them.
- 58:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 58:17SPEAKER_01: And, you know, Greg Abbott came out.
- 58:20SPEAKER_01: Was it Greg Abbott or was it Ken Paxton?
- 58:22SPEAKER_01: It might have been both of them were like, hey, maybe block cameras aren't such a great thing.
- 58:25SPEAKER_01: That's how big of a deal it is on the right at the moment.
- 58:28SPEAKER_01: And Trump is still out there going, woo, block cameras.
- 58:31SPEAKER_00: I love them.
- 58:32SPEAKER_00: You know,
- 58:33SPEAKER_00: what's also funny is that Byron Donald,
- 58:35SPEAKER_00: the guy who's running for governor in Florida, is a big pro data center guy.
- 58:40SPEAKER_00: And everybody is talking about how we don't want Byron Donald's a New Yorker
- 58:45SPEAKER_00: because he likes data centers.
- 58:49SPEAKER_00: Both sides of the aisle are calling him data center Donald.
- 58:54SPEAKER_01: Political savants.
- 58:55SPEAKER_01: They're just political savants, man.
- 58:56SPEAKER_01: They're right on the pulse.
- 58:59SPEAKER_01: Right on the pulse of the people.
- 59:01It is crazy.
- 59:06SPEAKER_00: There was something, there was something, oh, you know what it was?
- 59:10SPEAKER_00: Just really quickly.
- 59:11SPEAKER_00: So I was in the, this is totally like just a funny story about my area.
- 59:17SPEAKER_00: I was just scrolling on Facebook this morning when I woke up and I saw a post
- 59:20SPEAKER_00: from like a veteran.
- 59:21SPEAKER_00: He's like, oh,
- 59:22SPEAKER_00: I was driving through such and such mobile home park and I saw this flag upside down
- 59:27SPEAKER_00: and, oh, fuck.
- 59:30SPEAKER_00: If you don't like it, get out.
- 59:32SPEAKER_00: We're not in distress and everybody in the comments,
- 59:35SPEAKER_00: I mean like there might have been like three and there was
- 59:37SPEAKER_00: a hundred comments talking about how our country is in distress.
- 59:42SPEAKER_00: I have never seen so many people in my life.
- 59:45SPEAKER_00: I am the
- 59:52SPEAKER_00: first to tell you that anecdotal evidence doesn't mean anything,
- 59:55SPEAKER_00: but I have never seen so many people in my community unite together and be like,
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_00: hey, no, this really sucks.
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_00: Have you seen the state of America?
- 1:00:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, Trump has completely lost the confidence of his own base.
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_01: They don't think the economy is doing well.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_01: And when Republicans look at the economy under a Republican president and say,
- 1:00:18SPEAKER_01: no, the economy sucks, that's a problem.
- 1:00:20SPEAKER_01: Because as long as it's a Democrat in office, Republicans think the economy is terrible.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_01: But as soon as the president,
- 1:00:25SPEAKER_01: Republicans in office, they're like, no, the economy is the best it's ever been.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_01: If they're saying now the economy is terrible, that's a really fucking bad sign for Republicans.
- 1:00:36SPEAKER_01: So good luck.
- 1:00:37SPEAKER_01: I wonder if Trump is invested in flat cameras.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_01: I wouldn't doubt it.
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_01: Anything,
- 1:00:42SPEAKER_01: anything that,
- 1:00:43SPEAKER_01: especially if there's like federal contracts involved,
- 1:00:46SPEAKER_01: he's putting money into it because he knows there's going to be a federal contract
- 1:00:49SPEAKER_01: because he'll just tell them to do it.
- 1:00:51SPEAKER_00: Well, on to self-care of the week.
- 1:00:55SPEAKER_00: On Sunday, my best friend came over and we watched the Bills beat the Texans.
- 1:00:58SPEAKER_00: This is because I believed.
- 1:01:02SPEAKER_00: Like all Bills games,
- 1:01:03SPEAKER_00: my mental health was questionable throughout the first, well, all the quarters.
- 1:01:09SPEAKER_01: How many quarters are there in a football game?
- 1:01:14SPEAKER_00: It's so funny because I text him and I said, what did I say?
- 1:01:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, I love it when the game comes down to 16 seconds.
- 1:01:21SPEAKER_00: It's do or die in the last 16 seconds.
- 1:01:23SPEAKER_01: And then she didn't tell me how it ended because I didn't look it up.
- 1:01:26SPEAKER_01: So I was just like, I wonder how that game ended.
- 1:01:28SPEAKER_01: You didn't send me a text back going, no.
- 1:01:31SPEAKER_01: And I was like, I don't know.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_01: I guess it didn't end badly.
- 1:01:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah,
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_00: I was just,
- 1:01:36SPEAKER_00: I was pacing the living room watching the last drive and then I started screaming.
- 1:01:42SPEAKER_00: So that was fun.
- 1:01:43SPEAKER_00: On Thursday is our first home game at our new stadium that cost New York taxpayers
- 1:01:49SPEAKER_00: a billion dollars.
- 1:01:50SPEAKER_00: But guys, it's a nice stadium.
- 1:01:53SPEAKER_01: It's got to be if it's brand new.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_00: Sure.
- 1:01:57SPEAKER_00: Did they build it so that there's literally staircases blocking the view of some of the seats?
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_00: I guess.
- 1:02:03SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 1:02:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:06SPEAKER_00: Hopefully they fix it.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_00: But we're playing the Lions and fingers crossed that we're going to whoop Eminem's ass.
- 1:02:13SPEAKER_00: That's his team.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_00: I also said goodbye to my friend Jennifer this week.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_00: She, I mean, I guess I'll see you later.
- 1:02:20SPEAKER_00: She's moving up to New York to like the Buffalo area.
- 1:02:23SPEAKER_00: So it's not like I'm never going to see her because obviously I go up there.
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_00: But it is very sad for me.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_00: I am as sad as my Lexapro will allow me to be.
- 1:02:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:02:33SPEAKER_00: Because she has been with me for every single major life,
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_00: from my father being murdered to my last child being born.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_00: I mean, everything in between, she's been there still.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_00: That was pretty sad for me.
- 1:02:45SPEAKER_00: But, you know, I'm dealing with it.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_00: So anyways, what have you been up to?
- 1:02:51SPEAKER_01: My week's been less stressful than yours, apparently.
- 1:02:55SPEAKER_01: So Anastasia's decided that in December she wants to see Avengers Doomsday.
- 1:02:59SPEAKER_01: That's cool.
- 1:03:00SPEAKER_01: But she has not watched any of the Marvel movies.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_01: Except for the Spider-Man movies.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_01: She's watched the Spider-Man movies.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_01: So now she's working her way through almost 20 years of Marvel movies.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_01: And we've watched Iron Man, Captain America, and Incredible Hulk.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_00: That's funny.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_00: My son did that, like the big one.
- 1:03:17SPEAKER_00: Not this, like two summers ago, he did it.
- 1:03:20SPEAKER_00: They watched all of the Marvel movies.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_00: I can't remember why, something was coming out.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_01: Well, that's what we're doing now.
- 1:03:27SPEAKER_01: So next up is Iron Man 2 and then Thor.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_01: We're making slow progress because we don't watch them every day.
- 1:03:35SPEAKER_01: But I think we'll make it through Endgame by Thanksgiving.
- 1:03:39SPEAKER_01: And then we just need to watch a handful of movies because you don't have
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_01: to watch everything in the next set, like the multiverse stuff.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_01: You don't have to watch all of those.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:03:47SPEAKER_00: Tell me, what are the Marvel movies?
- 1:03:50SPEAKER_00: Because I think that's the franchise that I like.
- 1:03:52SPEAKER_00: Is that what X-Men is in?
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_00: X-Men?
- 1:03:54SPEAKER_01: I mean, yes, X-Men is Marvel, but it's not part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_01: No, but so I've seen
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_00: Iron Man.
- 1:04:01SPEAKER_00: I really like Iron Man.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_00: Iron Man's good, but I don't think I've seen the last one because doesn't he die?
- 1:04:06SPEAKER_01: Well, that was Avengers.
- 1:04:08SPEAKER_01: That was the Avengers endgame.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_01: He dies in that one.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_00: Okay, so yes, Iron Man dies in that one, right?
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I haven't seen.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_00: So I really like Iron Man.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_00: I think Captain America was good.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_00: I think I saw the first Incredible Hulk.
- 1:04:21SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's only been one.
- 1:04:23SPEAKER_01: Well, there's been two Hulk movies.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_01: There was one, like, I don't know, early 2000s, and it was terrible.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_01: And then there was the Incredible Hulk with Ed Norton.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_00: Okay, so I think I saw the one in the early 2000s.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_01: Who was in that?
- 1:04:36SPEAKER_01: Did it have...
- 1:04:38SPEAKER_01: I couldn't tell you.
- 1:04:40SPEAKER_00: Was he fighting tanks in the desert?
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_00: I don't remember, to be honest with you, but it was a long time ago, but my kid is a Marvel kid.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_00: I have pictures of him when he was little wearing the costumes.
- 1:04:53SPEAKER_00: So he's always him.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_00: He's always been into that.
- 1:04:57SPEAKER_00: But yeah, so that's really exciting because I actually like all of those movies.
- 1:05:01SPEAKER_00: I know that I tease you for being a nerd, but all of those are so fucking good.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_01: No, I'm having a great time re-watching them with her because,
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_01: you know,
- 1:05:10SPEAKER_01: we talk about it and I tell her this and the other and I keep telling her,
- 1:05:12SPEAKER_01: it's like,
- 1:05:13SPEAKER_01: you have to keep that in mind,
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_01: keep this in mind because they're going to get back to it in like six movies.
- 1:05:19SPEAKER_00: I guess I just didn't understand that there's like a Marvel universe
- 1:05:22SPEAKER_00: that didn't include the one of those certain...
- 1:05:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, the X-Men movie.
- 1:05:27SPEAKER_00: I didn't realize that it was...
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_00: So when I thought of the Marvel Universe, I thought it was just all of the Marvel movies.
- 1:05:32SPEAKER_01: I mean, they...
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_01: The specific number of Marvel movies?
- 1:05:35SPEAKER_01: They're part of it now.
- 1:05:38SPEAKER_01: They're going to be in the Doomsday.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_01: Those X-Men will be in Doomsday.
- 1:05:44SPEAKER_00: Okay, so they kind of like...
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_00: It's kind of like all the separate movies, and then eventually they mix them together.
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because now Disney... Because they're part of the universe, I get it.
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_01: Right, Disney owns the rights to all of that now, so they bought them in.
- 1:05:59SPEAKER_00: Man, I fucking love the X-Men movies.
- 1:06:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they were fun.
- 1:06:03SPEAKER_01: They were a lot of fun.
- 1:06:05SPEAKER_01: Now, in other family news, Lila was in again this weekend.
- 1:06:09SPEAKER_01: Yay!
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_01: They were supposed to go to the Renaissance Fair,
- 1:06:12SPEAKER_01: but Claudia hurt her foot,
- 1:06:14SPEAKER_01: and a Renaissance Fair is all walking,
- 1:06:17SPEAKER_01: and it's not flat in the evening ground,
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_01: so she was like, yeah, we're not doing that.
- 1:06:20SPEAKER_01: I don't know, how'd she hurt her foot?
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_01: Well, she's having foot problems,
- 1:06:24SPEAKER_01: and she kind of not exactly twisted her ankle at work,
- 1:06:28SPEAKER_01: which just made it worse,
- 1:06:29SPEAKER_01: but she did something at work,
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_01: and she was like, yeah, I'm not going to be able to walk
- 1:06:32SPEAKER_00: around a fret bear all day.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_00: That sucks.
- 1:06:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she passed.
- 1:06:35SPEAKER_01: But we did get to,
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_01: me and Mrs.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_01: Ogre made breakfast to everyone on Sunday, bacon,
- 1:06:41SPEAKER_01: sausage,
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_01: fully loaded scrambled eggs and chocolate pancakes or chocolate chip pancakes.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_01: And we all sat around as a family and we ate and chatted for about 90 minutes.
- 1:06:50SPEAKER_01: And it was nice because we haven't been able to get together as a family for a while.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_01: Mrs. Ogre had minor surgery on Tuesday, so it was nice for her to have the family together.
- 1:06:59SPEAKER_01: So that helped.
- 1:07:01SPEAKER_01: But she's home for the next three weeks,
- 1:07:02SPEAKER_01: so I'm not going to be writing as much while she's recovering.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_01: It wasn't anything serious,
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_01: and she's fine,
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_01: but she's home,
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_01: so I'm going to be spending time with her instead of writing and posting all day.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_01: We're still going to be doing the podcast,
- 1:07:14SPEAKER_01: but I'll be back to my regular schedule in early October.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_01: But otherwise, everything is hunky-dory and everything's fine.
- 1:07:23SPEAKER_00: It's nice for you guys to spend
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_01: some quality time together.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're binge-watching Heroes on Netflix.
- 1:07:29SPEAKER_01: Like, we've seen it, but now we're going to watch the entire thing back-to-back.
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_00: Oh, you know,
- 1:07:33SPEAKER_00: I watched that show when it came out,
- 1:07:35SPEAKER_00: so that's why it was so sad when Hayden...
- 1:07:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean, that's the only thing I know her from.
- 1:07:40SPEAKER_01: I didn't watch any of the other shows she was on.
- 1:07:41SPEAKER_01: It was like, you know what?
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_01: Fuck it.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_01: It's time to re-watch this.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I mean, I listened to her last interview with Jay Shetty.
- 1:07:48SPEAKER_00: I don't know if you know who Jay Shetty is.
- 1:07:49SPEAKER_00: He's a podcast host.
- 1:07:52SPEAKER_00: And it was just so sad.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: Like you could tell like that her mental health just was so bad.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_00: And, you know,
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_00: we haven't talked about this on the show,
- 1:08:00SPEAKER_00: but Hayden talked a lot about postpartum depression.
- 1:08:03SPEAKER_00: And we haven't talked about like the Lindsay Glancy trial on our show.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_00: But I really do think that People need to start paying more attention to
- 1:08:13SPEAKER_00: the mental health of women post-pregnancy.
- 1:08:15SPEAKER_00: Because a lot of people think that you have a baby and then six weeks later, you're fine.
- 1:08:20SPEAKER_00: But sometimes people are depressed for years.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_00: I was never depressed.
- 1:08:25SPEAKER_00: Let me tell you that I was never depressed.
- 1:08:27SPEAKER_00: I never suffered depression in my life until after I had my second son.
- 1:08:31SPEAKER_00: And now, seven years later, I'm still fighting it.
- 1:08:33SPEAKER_00: So that's a rant for another day, but do better, people.
- 1:08:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and it's not like...
- 1:08:40SPEAKER_01: The thing that always struck me about that,
- 1:08:42SPEAKER_01: once I understood that depression was not necessarily a,
- 1:08:49SPEAKER_01: things are bad in my life and I feel bad, it was a chemical imbalance.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_01: Once I understood that, it was like, Why are people such dicks about it?
- 1:08:58SPEAKER_01: Why are people like, oh, just shrug it off.
- 1:09:02SPEAKER_01: But it's a chemical imbalance.
- 1:09:04SPEAKER_01: It's not like, oh, I just have to work my way through it.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_01: It's like, no.
- 1:09:09SPEAKER_01: There's different That was situational depression.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_01: As opposed to the chemical imbalance kind where it's like, it doesn't matter.
- 1:09:30SPEAKER_01: Like everything in your life could be perfectly normal and great even.
- 1:09:34SPEAKER_01: And you're still going to be depressed because your brain is chemically imbalanced.
- 1:09:38SPEAKER_01: That's not a you think.
- 1:09:40SPEAKER_01: That's okay.
- 1:09:41SPEAKER_01: A literal chemical imbalance.
- 1:09:43SPEAKER_01: If you had low blood pressure or high blood pressure,
- 1:09:46SPEAKER_01: no one's going to look at you and say, well, just change your blood pressure.
- 1:09:49SPEAKER_01: It's like, that's not how that fucking works.
- 1:09:52SPEAKER_01: You can't just alter your body chemistry.
- 1:09:54SPEAKER_01: That's not how it works.
- 1:09:55SPEAKER_01: What are you talking about?
- 1:09:57SPEAKER_00: I really think that as people start to learn more about health...
- 1:10:04SPEAKER_00: Hopefully that'll break through more because like I said,
- 1:10:07SPEAKER_00: I never suffered depression in my life.
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_00: I didn't even think that I was depressed last year when I was diagnosed.
- 1:10:12SPEAKER_00: I thought that I just had anxiety.
- 1:10:15SPEAKER_00: And then I scored really high on the depression test that you have to take.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh, I never even considered depression.
- 1:10:23SPEAKER_00: I thought it was just anxiety, that I was just anxious about immigration and
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_00: And moving to my mom's, my uncle having cancer and everybody in my life dying.
- 1:10:35SPEAKER_01: I thought I was just
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_00: anxious.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_00: But now that I think about it,
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_00: I'm like, you know, I suffered from postpartum depression after Nathan was born.
- 1:10:45SPEAKER_00: I thought that it was a result of my birth control.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_00: I had a neck split on implant.
- 1:10:49SPEAKER_00: I had my doctor take out my implant and then I seemed fine.
- 1:10:52SPEAKER_00: But as I think back and I'm like, was I really fine?
- 1:10:54SPEAKER_00: Oh, you just think
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_01: you were.
- 1:10:56SPEAKER_01: So you were ignoring the symptoms.
- 1:10:58SPEAKER_00: I think I was just ignoring the symptoms.
- 1:10:59SPEAKER_00: So...
- 1:11:00SPEAKER_00: So, you know,
- 1:11:01SPEAKER_00: people think that, like,
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 1:11:03SPEAKER_00: when we have children,
- 1:11:05SPEAKER_00: that we can just snap out of it if you deal with postpartum depression.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_00: But I really do think that it becomes chronic depression in a lot of cases.
- 1:11:13SPEAKER_00: And we don't talk about it enough.
- 1:11:15SPEAKER_01: Well, it's because it affects women.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_01: If it affected men, then we will.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 1:11:18SPEAKER_00: And I'm such a happy, like, person in general.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm always making jokes and whatever.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_00: And women are like that.
- 1:11:26SPEAKER_00: We mask it well.
- 1:11:28SPEAKER_00: Like cats.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_00: But you're right,
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_00: I just never,
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_00: if I never thought about that,
- 1:11:35SPEAKER_00: you know, imagine how many people also don't see it, so.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 1:11:40SPEAKER_00: LaFlex approach.
- 1:11:44SPEAKER_01: Let's wrap it up.
