- 0:00Speaker 1: We just posted a big photo dump of a bunch
- 0:02Speaker 1: of pictures that we've dressed up for Halloween. But on
- 0:05Speaker 1: there is a poll so you can guess what our
- 0:08Speaker 1: show is going to dress up for Halloween this year.
- 0:10Speaker 1: And you can find us on Instagram at JohnJayandRich. And
- 0:12Speaker 1: follow us, too, while.
- 0:13Speaker 2: You're at it.
- 0:13Speaker 3: So you mean on the poll, you're giving people options?
- 0:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:16Speaker 1: It's like, are we going to dress up as the
- 0:19Speaker 1: Toy Story 5 cast, the MCU, the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
- 0:23Speaker 1: What else did I put in there? Beetlejuice, I think.
- 0:29Speaker 4: So we're not going to be Beetlejuice because it's not
- 0:30Speaker 4: even top of your mind. That gives a little bit away.
- 0:34Speaker 4: People better hurry because I got to get my costume today.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Bad Bunny Halftime Show, World Cup Soccer, MCU, Toy Story 5.
- 0:40Speaker 3: So take your guess.
- 0:41Speaker 1: What do you think we're going to dress up as?
- 0:43Speaker 3: So go to johnjandrich.com.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Kyle, what do we need to know today?
- 0:48Speaker 5: Just when everybody thought the Milwaukee Brewers were about to
- 0:50Speaker 5: cruise to their first World Series championship. Now, the Rays
- 0:55Speaker 5: pulled off an incredible comeback last night, scoring two runs
- 0:58Speaker 5: in the bottom of the 12th inning to win 4-3
- 1:01Speaker 5: and keep their season alive. Milwaukee still leads a series 3-1,
- 1:05Speaker 5: but now we've got game five tonight. And remember, neither
- 1:08Speaker 5: one of these teams have ever won a World Series.
- 1:10Speaker 5: So either way, it's going to be history made. More
- 1:13Speaker 5: than 50 years. This is like very appropriate for history.
- 1:17Speaker 5: like spooky time, like for Halloween time, but really has
- 1:20Speaker 5: nothing to do with Halloween. More than 50 years after
- 1:23Speaker 5: a teenage girl was murdered in Utah, investigators say they
- 1:26Speaker 5: finally connected her death to a notorious serial killer, Ted Bundy.
- 1:31Speaker 3: No way.
- 1:33Speaker 5: Yeah. 17-year-old Melissa Ann Smith was killed back in 1974,
- 1:36Speaker 5: and now DNA testing on evidence preserved for decades has
- 1:40Speaker 5: linked her to being another Bundy victim.
- 1:43Speaker 3: Which is insane.
- 1:44Speaker 5: It's a major breakthrough in the case. It's been unsolved
- 1:46Speaker 5: for 52 years. I don't think this brings her family
- 1:49Speaker 5: any peace knowing this, but at least they finally have
- 1:53Speaker 5: some answers. I told you earlier this week, some people
- 1:57Speaker 5: spent $ 2, 000 on the brand new iPhone Duo. That's their
- 2:01Speaker 5: foldable phone, only to open it up the first time
- 2:04Speaker 5: to have the screen completely crack. And then some people
- 2:07Speaker 5: were saying it costs another $ 1, 000 to get them fixed.
- 2:11Speaker 5: But now Apple says, hey, if you were affected by this,
- 2:14Speaker 5: please contact AppleCare. They will replace it. But apparently some
- 2:18Speaker 5: stores don't have enough replacement phones in stock, so you
- 2:20Speaker 5: may be waiting a while for that replacement.
- 2:22Speaker 2: You know somebody sent me a DM of a video
- 2:23Speaker 2: of their phone. They had it for like a day,
- 2:25Speaker 2: and it was already smashed.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's really sad.
- 2:28Speaker 5: And, you know, Samsung's having a really fun time trolling them. Oh,
- 2:31Speaker 5: they are. And they're posting videos of like their foldable,
- 2:35Speaker 5: their new foldable and like an apple and like the
- 2:39Speaker 5: apple crunching.
- 2:41Speaker 3: They're just folding it open and close.
- 2:42Speaker 5: Anyways, something is about to happen here in Arizona that
- 2:46Speaker 5: hasn't happened in nearly 40 years.
- 2:48Speaker 3: Halloween on the 31st. Well, no, but it does have
- 2:52Speaker 3: to do with Halloween.
- 2:53Speaker 1: Rain.
- 2:53Speaker 3: Usually Halloween's on the 31st.
- 2:55Speaker 5: Rain is in the forecast for Halloween and that hasn't
- 2:58Speaker 5: happened in 40 years. Again, we don't know necessarily. A
- 3:01Speaker 5: lot of times when we get these rain forecasts, it's
- 3:03Speaker 5: really isolated. So there are some areas that may have
- 3:05Speaker 5: absolutely no rain, but the fact that rain is forecasted
- 3:08Speaker 5: on Halloween and we don't get another Halloween on a
- 3:11Speaker 5: Saturday for like, what is it?
- 3:13Speaker 3: 27 years because of leap years.
- 3:14Speaker 5: It's like, We just got to make the most of it.
- 3:17Speaker 5: So maybe like get your umbrellas now or maybe somehow
- 3:20Speaker 5: incorporate that into your costume.
- 3:21Speaker 3: But yeah, that's definitely in the forecast.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I was talking to my husband about that because I
- 3:25Speaker 1: was like, Halloween's ruined.
- 3:27Speaker 5: It's going to rain.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And all this stuff. And he looked at me. He
- 3:30Speaker 1: grew up in Portland, Oregon, where it literally is not.
- 3:32Speaker 1: non-stop rain he just looked at me he was like
- 3:34Speaker 1: are you serious.
- 3:35Speaker 5: Right now yeah we haven't done this for 40 years I.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Was like yes all we need for Halloween out here
- 3:41Speaker 1: in Arizona is a light jacket if.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Even that sometimes it's hot so this helps you plan
- 3:48Speaker 5: I guess you're knowing at least a few days ahead
- 3:50Speaker 5: of time there is some really good news you could
- 3:53Speaker 5: be sitting on a half a million dollars Somebody who
- 3:56Speaker 5: bought a Powerball ticket at a Walmart in Casa Grande
- 3:59Speaker 5: just won a half a million dollars.
- 4:00Speaker 3: They haven't turned it in yet. That's not even the
- 4:02Speaker 3: biggest recent win.
- 4:03Speaker 5: A scratcher sold in Phoenix paid out almost $ 890, 000. And
- 4:08Speaker 5: someone who bought a ticket at the Fries near Elliott
- 4:11Speaker 5: and Alma School in Chandler won another $ 20, 000.
- 4:15Speaker 3: So check your tickets.
- 4:17Speaker 5: You're just sitting on money if you can find it,
- 4:20Speaker 5: if you remember where you put it.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and since Kyle is reminding you and you are
- 4:24Speaker 1: sitting on that ticket, send us some.
- 4:25Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, a little finder's fee, a little reminder's fee.
- 4:28Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 4:28Speaker 3: That would be fantastic. Okay, and that's what you need
- 4:31Speaker 3: to know. So the website Ranker.com ranked.
- 4:35Speaker 2: The top 80s movie monsters that you would not want
- 4:39Speaker 2: to fight.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Okay.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Number 11 is like the Gremlins. You don't want to
- 4:43Speaker 3: fight the Gremlins.
- 4:44Speaker 4: No, you're going to lose.
- 4:45Speaker 3: They are kind of cute, though.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I would think you don't want to fight freaking Michael Myers,
- 4:49Speaker 2: but he's number 10 on the list from Halloween 2.
- 4:53Speaker 2: You don't want to fight Jack Torrance from The Shining.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Number 8 is Chucky from Child's Play.
- 4:59Speaker 3: That's the scariest one. You think that's the scariest one?
- 5:02Speaker 4: From so far.
- 5:03Speaker 2: The ghosts coming out of the TV in Poltergeist is
- 5:06Speaker 2: number 7. Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise.
- 5:13Speaker 3: That's number six. Pinhead from Hellraiser is number five. The
- 5:17Speaker 3: Thing from the movie The Thing is number four. Xenomorph.
- 5:22Speaker 3: You know who Xenomorph is? That's the monster from Aliens.
- 5:25Speaker 3: I didn't know he had a name. Oh, I didn't
- 5:26Speaker 3: know he had a name. He's number three. The Yautja. Y-A-U-T-J-A.
- 5:33Speaker 4: What's that?
- 5:34Speaker 3: That's the monster from Predator. Oh, that's scary.
- 5:37Speaker 4: I wouldn't want to deal with Aliens or Predator. Either
- 5:39Speaker 4: one of those are tough fight.
- 5:41Speaker 2: If you had to face off against a monster from
- 5:43Speaker 2: a 1980s classic, the number one monster.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Let me guess.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Is it the guy from what's it called?
- 5:52Speaker 3: Texas Chainsaw Massacre?
- 5:52Speaker 1: No, from Saw.
- 5:53Speaker 3: No.
- 5:54Speaker 4: Jake Saw? Jake Saw? Yeah, because he like tortures you.
- 5:57Speaker 3: I don't think he was in the 80s. Oh, he's later.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Is it Babadook? Nope. Is it Godzilla?
- 6:03Speaker 2: Nope.
- 6:03Speaker 3: How are you going to win against a Godzilla? When
- 6:07Speaker 3: I tell you guys, you're going to go, oh. Pennywise.
- 6:09Speaker 1: Nope.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Okay, just tell us. Freddy Krueger.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 6:15Speaker 3: Oh, I had nightmares. Did you know Freddy Krueger was
- 6:17Speaker 3: based off a real thing?
- 6:18Speaker 5: No.
- 6:19Speaker 2: There was like 21 people had a dream that they
- 6:21Speaker 2: were killed by somebody and they all died.
- 6:23Speaker 1: In their sleep. Oh, my gosh.
- 6:24Speaker 3: I know.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Because his whole thing is like, don't fall asleep, right?
- 6:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 6:28Speaker 2: Right, right.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I don't know. I feel like I just watched the
- 6:31Speaker 1: Crystal Lake and I saw those Jason kills and they're
- 6:34Speaker 1: pretty brutal.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I know. So I said, I wouldn't want to fight.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I wouldn't want to fight.
- 6:39Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 6:40Speaker 5: Did Jason, was he the one that walked really slow
- 6:42Speaker 5: towards his victim?
- 6:43Speaker 3: Mike Myers walked a little slow. Jason walked a little slow.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Couldn't you just run? Yeah, they still come after you.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Well, that's why they have you. Have you seen that
- 6:50Speaker 1: trend online where people, it's like Michael Myers is walking
- 6:54Speaker 1: as you're trying to unlock the door and it's really
- 6:55Speaker 1: hard to do. So as slow as he's walking and
- 6:59Speaker 1: as frantic as you are, I get how you can. Yeah,
- 7:03Speaker 1: I guess because if you're.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Like stressed out, you're like, what, I normally just press
- 7:06Speaker 5: this button one time.
- 7:07Speaker 1: You don't learn it now.
- 7:08Speaker 4: Exactly.
