- 3:32what our show is because they sacrifice more than we ever
- 3:36will. So we appreciate them more than
- 3:37they can and they allow me to do this little segment and I try to
- 3:42keep a short speak point and that's what we do you.
- 3:46Didn't hear that. I am a legend.
- 3:48As we all know, he is. Definitely.
- 3:51Well, I did. I did what I can, but no, my my
- 3:55rules is we always sometimes get stuck in the fact that we become
- 4:02the media side of it. As a player and what I loved
- 4:07about what Troy Aikman did and what I love, the fact is finally
- 4:12he became in the Steelers and Dolphins game and called some of
- 4:18the calls bullshit calls. And we've seen that in other
- 4:22aspects that we've talked about with Puka doing that thing with
- 4:25Aiden, whatever that guy is, that that is the social media
- 4:28influencer. But where this rules is, you
- 4:32have gentlemen that have played this game that understand what
- 4:35it is, where he wants to play the game, the way the game is
- 4:38played. And these calls are getting to a
- 4:42point where it's like it's taking away from what the game
- 4:45is. And I love the fact that you
- 4:48have somebody the caliber of what and and he's earned his
- 4:50stripes as a broadcaster and what he's done in the game and
- 4:56what I think that that does and, and how it rules in the aspect
- 4:59of what we are as athletes, where now we have a voice where
- 5:02we don't have to hide what we are.
- 5:04We just call it the way we see it and it carries weight.
- 5:08And The thing is like players now, which which kind of sucks
- 5:12when Puka says things like he sells to play the game, but when
- 5:16you see it from the aspect of a Hall of Famer, of somebody that
- 5:20has done what they've done, that's what I love.
- 5:23Because dudes are stepping out of their realm of being a player
- 5:27because we're not a player anymore.
- 5:28It's not about us anymore. It's about just calling it the
- 5:31way we see it. And if it's bullshit, it's
- 5:34bullshit. And that's not saying that
- 5:37they're bad, gooder, indifferent.
- 5:39But you're saying what you feel in the game of what it is and
- 5:43what we do allows us to be great on the field and now off the
- 5:49field, it allows us to do that. And that is what rules about
- 5:52what we get to do is. We get to be authentically
- 5:55ourselves without any. And if you don't like it, you
- 5:58don't like it, you don't have to listen.
- 5:59If you don't like it, turn it off.
- 6:01You don't like what he's saying, you ain't got to watch his
- 6:03broadcast. Put it on you.
- 6:04Chicken Curry. Don't like chicken Curry, but
- 6:08that's fine. That's why I don't eat it.
- 6:11So my point is to that is you don't have to listen, but what I
- 6:15love about it and what rules is, is they're giving us an aspect
- 6:18to do that. And I think that was really
- 6:20great about what sports has allowed us to do now.
- 6:23Noble fisting. So, ladies and gentlemen, that's
- 6:28Jabba rules. As in like taking a drink of
- 6:34water and not trying to spit it out They.
- 6:38Lit a lot of that after eating Nothing's chicken Curry.
- 6:40No knock. My ass.
- 6:42I, my chef, when I was playing, it was literally like we had the
- 6:47diet and everything and he tried, he made it and it, it,
- 6:52it, it was good. But like just this, I, I just,
- 6:55it wasn't my cup of tea. It was not.
- 6:58Well, I I would agree. With you, we love you, but
- 7:00that's just, that's not my cup of tea.
- 7:02I would agree with you with Troy Aikman.
- 7:04I think Troy Aikman says what he feels and and that's what makes
- 7:07Troy Aikman one of the better broadcasters in the industry.
- 7:10And I don't think he was wrong. I thought the calls were
- 7:13horrible. And last week, the calls when it
- 7:15came to the referees, there were quite a few players on social
- 7:18media that attacked the referees and think that the NFL is behind
- 7:22it and that they're trying to to make the game stand out and it
- 7:25doesn't really make the game stand.
- 7:27Out I'll get one of our referees when we get to like the Sweet 16
- 7:31and everything and he's done that.
- 7:33He goes, the best job I can do is to not be a part of the game.
- 7:39And that's that's literally like everything that we see.
- 7:42Like when they're not a part of the game and where it's not like
- 7:46we're questioning. And when you have somebody of
- 7:49trade man status, like saying that, do they really listen,
- 7:53though? Do they really listen and be
- 7:56like, OK, if if somebody like that saying it, it's not our
- 7:59dumb asses that have these shows and do everything that are
- 8:02armchair quarterbacks, right? You have a dude that has done it
- 8:06and he, he, he's calling y'all out.
- 8:09He's not doing it because he he has anything in the game,
- 8:12because his paycheck clears every two weeks or however they
- 8:15get paid. He's saying it because he's seen
- 8:17the game, he's played the game. And I love that I get an aspect
- 8:22of not only playing the game, but also being a father,
- 8:25watching the game, where the best games ever played are ones
- 8:29where you don't worry about who the hell is umpiring, reffing,
- 8:34officiating. The game is decided based upon
- 8:38who won or lost the game, not when it comes down to who's
- 8:41making a decision. You heard?
- 8:43Tim Donaghy, he's been on the show and he says it's, it's it,
- 8:47it's definitely the league's control what is going on in the
- 8:50back end. And, and I believe it's true.
- 8:53I really believe that the league knows or they believe who's
- 8:58going to the Super Bowl. I believe that it's all about
- 9:00business. Now, this has nothing to do with
- 9:03who's better, who's the better team.
- 9:05It's just a matter of what kind of money the league is going to
- 9:08bring in. And I think the referees are
- 9:10part of it. I know everybody says, how do
- 9:12you how does this all fall together?
- 9:13How does this make sense? How how is the game?
- 9:17You know, obviously what, what, what would we say this speedy?
- 9:19How would we? How would we call this The game
- 9:21is what? Really you would say you would
- 9:24say in that case controlling the outcome rigged or scripted?
- 9:27And I I, how is the game? That's the best way.
- 9:29How is the game scripted? And I believe the game is
- 9:33scripted because the NFL or in any sport, the referees have
- 9:37control the game. It all it takes in football, all
- 9:40it takes is one play, one play in a game and one bad call that
- 9:45could cost the team a game. That's how close it is.
- 9:47That's how close the bad teams are to the good teams.
- 9:50It's really, really close. Look at The Jets.
- 9:52The Jets have won three games this year.
- 9:54They could have won eight or nine games.
- 9:56That's how close the games were. And all it takes is 1 bad play.
- 10:01Say look The Jets blocked a punt or I'm sorry blocked.
- 10:05What was it a punt or field goal in in the Buccaneers game?
- 10:09In the Buccaneers game, they ran it in for a touchdown.
- 10:11They were up and then the the Buccaneers took it down and
- 10:15kicked the field goal to win the game.
- 10:16All it took is The Jets actual how about this Justin Fields on
- 10:19the 50 in England where all The Jets had to do was run the ball
- 10:24to the 45 or even the 42 yard line and Nick Foles kicks, kicks
- 10:29the field goal and The Jets win that game against the Broncos.
- 10:31And maybe the Broncos don't win 10 games or 9 games in a row.
- 10:34So I'm I'm just saying all it takes is 1 little play, 1 bad
- 10:38call, one stupid play by team or a referee call that can cost the
- 10:42team a game. And I think Troy Aikman is
- 10:44absolutely right. These refs are horrible.
- 10:47It's horrible to walk when you watch two teams fighting for a
- 10:51playoff spot and the refs are the deciding part of the game.
- 10:54Jabba, you weren't here at this time, but in 2023, I forget it
- 10:58was the show before or the show after the Super Bowl.
- 11:00We were talking about like Arian Foster having the the theory
- 11:03that all games are scripted and he allegedly had proof and then
- 11:06we had a bunch of other ex NFL players on that said I never had
- 11:08a script in my locker but there were definitely some suspicious
- 11:11signs. And that's the hard part too, is
- 11:15athletes. Because we want to be the
- 11:17deciding factor, right? Like because we've gotten to
- 11:20that. And I don't want it to be in in
- 11:24any sport where it that's decided.
- 11:27Like now we're seeing with ABS that's going to happen in
- 11:30baseball, right? Where it's now a what is it a
- 11:35value of of how you decipher when you're going to use these
- 11:39challenges, right? And that doesn't really come
- 11:42down to coaching. That comes down to a decision
- 11:44you make. Do you want to do in the second
- 11:45inning? Do you want to sit in here?
- 11:47Where in in every other sport it's like, do you make a
- 11:49blocking call? I literally had a great
- 11:51conversation with a referee that was in the Arkansas game that
- 11:59was happening the other day. And it it was, there were
- 12:03certain guys that we were talking about.
- 12:05And he goes, if I call it once, I have to call it every time.
- 12:07But he goes, we want them to decide what it is.
- 12:10I want them to decide the game. I don't want to be a part of the
- 12:13game. And that's just that's that's a
- 12:18great umpire. That's a great officiator.
- 12:20That's a great whatever. It's like, I'm here to
- 12:22facilitate. I'm not here to make decisions
- 12:25based upon what should be or shouldn't be.
- 12:30But everybody thinks that way. Yeah, call the obvious like we
- 12:34get that, but don't put yourself in the situation to be a part of
- 12:38the game because you're not the deciding factor.
- 12:42Nobody, nobody pays you guys to like to be the final.
- 12:46Nobody's coming to watch you other than your family.
- 12:49Nobody's buying your ref jersey number.
- 12:52Like nobody cares about that. Like, so just be a part of it.
- 12:56And he goes, the best games that I can do are the one and he was
- 13:00an officiator that was the only person to call a technical foul.
- 13:06And we've had them on the show. Don't be on again.
- 13:11Don't get me wrong. Oh.
- 13:13Yeah, don't I love the referees. All right, ladies and gentlemen,
- 13:16we call this King of the Hill. And here's the King of the Hill.
- 13:20This, Bobby, is the Beltline. You never ever hit below that.
- 13:24Not that kind of king of the hill, you dumb ready?
- 13:27Are. You ready?
- 13:28This is King of the Hill. All right, so this is Jarrett's
- 13:32last show, ladies and gentlemen, so we're happy to have him on on
- 13:37the final King of the Hill. We're very excited and I know
- 13:41all the fans that love Jared. I know Jabba spoke very highly
- 13:45of you, Jared. Moving forward, whenever you
- 13:47want to come and help out on the show, you're more than welcome
- 13:50to, just so you know, so very happy to have you on King of the
- 13:53Hill. Speed, Are you ready?
- 13:54I am ready. So yes, it's an NBA theme, Jared
- 13:56requested on the last show. And the first one will be about
- 13:59the New York Knicks. And I, I don't know where it is
- 14:03in the slideshow. Round one for the peasant fight.
- 14:05The best mix of all time. I like this one.
- 14:09All right, now you're the king. You could decide the order.
- 14:11All right, let's go Jarrett first.
- 14:14We'll go Jabba and Poopy and let's have Nathan in.
- 14:20Let's let's give her a chance. We'll give Nathan a chance.
- 14:23We're going to we're going to run out of players.
- 14:25There haven't been in that many great ones.
- 14:27I know, I know. That's what makes it great.
- 14:29But I'm a Knick fan, so I'll tell you.
- 14:31If I think they're great, they're great.
- 14:32So I'll put it in there. So there you go.
- 14:35Here we go. And we'll have Nathan last.
- 14:37All right, go ahead, Jarrett. I'll go there with the first
- 14:41pick. I'll go with the Knick that
- 14:42actually won something. I'll go with Walt Frazier.
- 14:46All time great point guard. Won two championships for the
- 14:48Knicks. Seven time All Star multi to six
- 14:51time all NBA2 championships. I think he's the greatest nick
- 14:54of all time, still with the team and the organization to this day
- 14:57as one of the best color guys in the business.
- 15:01I'm going to go. I'm going to go right now with
- 15:05actually was listening this morning to Dan Levittard and
- 15:09Jalen Brunson right now. It is the most beloved Nick
- 15:14right now. And Carol, I know I might be
- 15:17stealing a little bit of his Thunder on this because you've
- 15:19kind of mentioned it as well. But he he's 1.
- 15:23You can ride the back on and, and what he has done and, and
- 15:26how he's carried A-Team and what he stands for and, and how it
- 15:31works. And you know what, when you're
- 15:34loved by the New York, it's different.
- 15:37It's different. Exactly what Jared's point was
- 15:41is, well, Frazier was loved because he won, but not only
- 15:44because he won, because he authentically himself and he
- 15:48hasn't changed. And we've seen that and Jalen
- 15:51Brunson has not. And I think in this what last,
- 15:55what probably said, well, I'll give it 10 years even though he
- 15:58hasn't played ten years. That's the best Nick that
- 16:01they've had, that you could jump on the back and you love him.
- 16:04Believe I'm next, right? Yes, Yeah.
- 16:06All right. So I think I'll be a fool if I
- 16:08don't go with Patrick Ewing here.
- 16:10I mean, do I really have to say much about Patrick Ewing?
- 16:12One of the best centers of all time, led the Knicks to about 13
- 16:16straight playoff appearances. I believe, you know, a lot of
- 16:19people would like to consider him one of the greatest Knicks
- 16:22that never actually won, if not the greatest Knick and ever
- 16:25actually won a ring. But you know, Patrick Ewing was
- 16:27one of the best defensive players of the time, especially
- 16:30during the 90s of a time which had a very tough and competitive
- 16:33Eastern Conference. I think, you know, Patrick Ewing
- 16:36was, I never of course got to see him play.
- 16:38But just the legacy Patrick Ewing left, especially like I
- 16:40said, during that time when you had the Bulls, the Pacers, the
- 16:42Heat, all contenders in that in that series or in that that time
- 16:46frame. So give me Patrick Ewing.
- 16:49God Nath. N.
- 16:51You got 2, Nath? Yeah.
- 16:53You're going back-to-back, Nath, not mute Nathan.
- 16:57You're on mute. Hello, Nathan.
- 17:01Yeah. Can you hear us?
- 17:03Yeah, frozen. I think he's frozen.
- 17:07Nope. Yeah, he might be.
- 17:08Frozen. Well, NIF is gone, so no NIF.
- 17:12He was taken down by the king. All right, so we will go.
- 17:16Am I going again? Then you'll go again.
- 17:18All right then. So I'm going to also, I'm going
- 17:21to go with another Nick. I know Jared went with Frazier.
- 17:24I'm going to go with another Nick that actually wants
- 17:25something. I'm going to go Willis Reed.
- 17:27Willis Reed was definitely, I would say, one of the biggest
- 17:30heart and souls of the team during that time frame.
- 17:33He had a big, what's it called, Game seven return, I believe.
- 17:37Remember watching that game seven return.
- 17:39When he came, he went down, I think it was against the Lakers,
- 17:41I believe. But yeah, so I remember watching
- 17:44that heroically came back and helped them win the Finals.
- 17:47So, you know, I'm gonna go out with Mr. Willis Reed.
- 17:50Good. Job and I'm I'm I'm up now,
- 17:53right? That is you now, yeah.
- 17:56I'm gonna go Bill Bradley and you know, 2 championships, the
- 18:01thing they've done in in the early 70s and I I think Bill's
- 18:07resume is deeper than just what the Knicks was obviously drafted
- 18:11by the Knicks in the four position that he did and the
- 18:16things that he can and not a huge name, right, But Amen, his
- 18:20numbers retired. I mean that's that's that's
- 18:23something to be said for a lot of things.
- 18:26And when when you're not a super name like a Walt Fraser or
- 18:30certain things, when you when you have that conglomerate of
- 18:33what it is, I think that's one as as the fourth position, which
- 18:37it wasn't really like crazy. Had a great college career
- 18:40obviously as well. But I I think that's just one
- 18:43when you go down, it's not a super big name, but I think
- 18:46that's one that goes into the accolades of the things that
- 18:50he's done. All right, Jared.
- 18:54Jared, you got 2. All right, First I'll go on the
- 18:58same lines of Bill Bradley. I'll stick to the to the 70s
- 19:01teams. I'll go with Dave Debusher, one
- 19:04of the great all time great defenders, part of both title
- 19:06teams. One of the first big free agency
- 19:09pickups are just acquisitions the Knicks ever made.
- 19:11Like big names was a All Star for the Pistons as well.
- 19:15He he he changed things to really help that championship
- 19:18team. And then I'll go, I'm going to
- 19:21go Charles Oakley with my last pick there.
- 19:24There's some other big like scorers on this still left.
- 19:28But as far as the culture of the Knicks, it's Charles Oakley.
- 19:31That 90s team just just inbound the toughness and physicality of
- 19:35the 90s and played a long time. I mean, and and really a big
- 19:40role on those Knicks teams in the 90s.
- 19:42Forget whatever Dolan has has done to him since, but he's like
- 19:47the Nick of that time period to me of embodying the team.
- 19:51All right, job, you got 1. More I'm going to go Starks
- 19:54because not only do I always look at what they did on the
- 19:57court, but I look as like as a fan favorite that's still loved
- 20:01and exactly what was brought up early with Wall Fraser that's
- 20:04still involved in it and John Starks was was an undrafted dude
- 20:08right and and proved to. Everything that he could do and
- 20:13as a fan favorite to still be relevant to this day and what
- 20:16he's done. And we had this argument.
- 20:18Did he dunk over Jordan and it was Horace Grant.
- 20:21But if if you want to go on on that context and what he did,
- 20:27yeah, was was he undrafted it? But what he did was was make his
- 20:30name the Knicks for for nine years and to create those, you
- 20:35know, those balances and those freaking challenges that he had
- 20:39with the Bulls team at the time. I just think that's that's a
- 20:42dude that's going to go down like may not be 1 like the
- 20:47fanciest players but was a dude that gave you everything you got
- 20:50and still to this day is relevant.
- 20:52All right. So since Java kind of took my
- 20:56last pick, I'm going to go with Luttrell Sprewell.
- 20:59Now I'm going to go with Sprewell for the mean fact that
- 21:03he was another guy that during those 90s team, he was very much
- 21:06a consistent player helping the Knicks stay in that consistent
- 21:10realm, you know, having them stay in that consistency of
- 21:12being a good team. My uncle was who was the biggest
- 21:15die hard Knicks fan that I know he is a he was a big Latrell's
- 21:18pretty well fan and watching him growing up.
- 21:20So I'm going to go with Latrell. All right, so round one is
- 21:28complete. Who is moving on?
- 21:30The King. All right, So what I'm going to
- 21:35say, all right, here's what I'm going to say.
- 21:40I'm not a John Starks fan because John Starks was the
- 21:43bricklayer. He was the reason why the Knicks
- 21:45didn't win a championship in Game 7 and 94.
- 21:48So I'm going to blame John Starks.
- 21:50I like Bradley, I like all your picks job.
- 21:53I really do. But I'm going to go, I'm going
- 21:54to go with obviously Willis Reed and Patrick Ewing.
- 21:58Those are the guys. Those are the those guys were
- 22:00the faces of the New York Knicks from the 70s and the 90s.
- 22:03So I'm going to go with Tommy Poops.
- 22:06I, I disagree with you, little Charles.
- 22:08Pretty well. I would have taken Carmelo
- 22:10Anthony over Luttrell's pretty well, pretty well.
- 22:12Didn't win anything. And he liked to beat up coaches.
- 22:15So I'll go Carmelo Anthony. I'm surprised none of you went
- 22:18with Carmelo Anthony. And there were a lot of other
- 22:20players on those 70s Knicks. And I also like Charles Oakley
- 22:24and you know, you have my heart right there.
- 22:26Jarrett, when she said Charles Oakley, because he was my
- 22:28favorite player. I'm going to go with Jarrett and
- 22:31the poops. All right, so we'll go to Round
- 22:342 before we get to round two. I forgot to bring this up during
- 22:36let's partly also Chaz sent some picks over as well.
- 22:39Chaz Eagles money line for this week, Bears team total over
- 22:44Lions team total over and the Falcons versus the Cardinals
- 22:47game on the over and those picks are also in the comments section
- 22:50as well. So we go from the other extreme
- 22:52now, from the best Knicks of all time to the worst Knicks of all
- 22:58time. I can give you a couple of those
- 23:00all. Right.
- 23:02Who goes first, Sarah? I'll go Jarrett.
- 23:05This is his final show. I'm going to go Jarrett first
- 23:08and I'll go with Poop second. This is tough as a as a non New
- 23:15Yorker. I'll go recent just bad draft
- 23:20pick. I'll go Frank into the Lakeena.
- 23:23Couldn't do anything offensively, he was a fine
- 23:26defender but they drafted him in the top ten with a lot of hype
- 23:30around him and it was just a complete non factor offensively.
- 23:33No shooting touch whatsoever, no finishing touch, no playmaking
- 23:37ability whatsoever. I'll go Frank, Noodle, Aquino,
- 23:39all. Right.
- 23:40Tommy poops. I'm going to go with kind of
- 23:42recent person too, and Kevin Knox.
- 23:45Why was that a bit of a blunder? Just Kevin Knox is just not good
- 23:49in any aspect of the Knicks whatsoever.
- 23:53He got traded pretty quickly, somewhat not quick enough, I
- 23:55would like to say. But yeah, Kevin Knox was one of
- 23:59the worst players that I've witnessed in the recent years
- 24:01and really main reason why I didn't start watching the Knicks
- 24:03until they actually started winning again.
- 24:04So give me Kevin Knox. I'll go Jerome James, Knicks
- 24:08signed to a big money contract after he had like one playoff
- 24:12run and hadn't done nothing else in his career.
- 24:15The guy sucked. He's a lousy center, didn't do
- 24:18anything and cost the Knicks a lot of money.
- 24:21One of the worst free agent signings at like of that time
- 24:24period for sure. My next pick, I'm going to go
- 24:29with Joe Kim, Noah now I'm going with Joe Kim only for the fact
- 24:33that it really didn't pan out the way that New York wanted it
- 24:36to. Of course, they were getting a
- 24:37guy that was on the Bulls that was doing very spectacular
- 24:40things over there. But that four year deal that
- 24:43they signed for him too, he couldn't stay healthy.
- 24:46Very poor play overall. And it really looked like he
- 24:49really looked like a shell of himself of what you saw over
- 24:51there in Chicago. So give me Joe, Kim, Noah.
- 24:55I'll take yeah, I'll take my final pick.
- 24:57I'll take Andre Bargnani. The worst players are not the
- 25:02ones that are necessarily bad. They're the worst players, the
- 25:03ones that are bad but think they're very good.
- 25:06Bartoni was the number one pick. He scored a lot of points in
- 25:09Toronto, kind of he had, he had a big head on him and and
- 25:13thought he could really play. But good night he was he was a
- 25:16chucker. He's a just dumb player.
- 25:18Couldn't guard anybody. Soft 7 footer, but was really
- 25:22like a three rather than a four or five.
- 25:24Just horrible player. All right.
- 25:27And my last is going to have to be Eddie Curry.
- 25:31Now, another guy that I didn't really get to see play, but I
- 25:33don't know if anybody actually wanted to see him play.
- 25:36Only for a 7 foot center that wasn't very good at being a
- 25:40center. Very poor play.
- 25:42Very out of shape as well too. So I'm going to go with Eddie
- 25:44Curry. This one is really, really close
- 25:49and I remember James, but I also remember Joakim Noah and that
- 25:53was what that was the deciding thought to both of you guys
- 25:56because both of them were very, very interesting.
- 26:00The way he went with Nicola Nelakina and the way he went
- 26:02with Knox. So that was kind of equal.
- 26:05And then even your final pick. So this and and the Eddie Curry
- 26:081 was pretty much I I would say that Barnieri was was probably
- 26:13the same, even though I thought Eddie Curry was a little bit
- 26:15worse. I mean, but I'm going to go with
- 26:19you, Tommy, because I think Joe Kim, Noah, he barely played and
- 26:23the Knicks gave a lot. I mean, Phil Jackson in this,
- 26:26this move was probably the worst move I can honestly say the
- 26:30Knicks have ever made. They brought Joe Kim, Noah in.
- 26:33He got like $75 million. And I think he played no more
- 26:37than 30 games for the New York Knicks.
- 26:39And his career was over for the Knicks.
- 26:40His career was over in the NBA after that.
- 26:43So I'm going to go Joe Kim Noah. I mean, Jerome James was a lot
- 26:45of money for Joe Kim Noah, $75 million, and he barely played.
- 26:50So I want to see Jared take on the king though can I relinquish
- 26:53my spot to Jared or no? Should I?
- 26:55If you want, that's up to you. Hey, it's up to Jared.
- 26:58Jared, would you like to take on your king for your last episode?
- 27:02He deserves, he deserves to go in the last one man.
- 27:05He he has been absolutely one of.
- 27:07It's up for you if you want it, Jared.
- 27:09It's up to take. I'll take it, I'll take it.
- 27:12I'll never, I'll never turn down a handout.
- 27:14All right, so the last one is a little more of a general 1 and
- 27:18it is the most underrated players in the NBA right now.
- 27:23All right, Darrell, you could decide if you want to go first
- 27:25or second, Jarrett. Right now.
- 27:29Yes. Now I'm trying to think where
- 27:35would I go with this because there's a couple of guys.
- 27:39All right, I'm going to go first, all right, because I'm
- 27:42I'm looking at the way they're the way they're perceiving these
- 27:47guys. So I'm going to go I'm going to
- 27:49go most underrated, all right, most underrated play.
- 27:54All right, I'm going to go with them.
- 27:56I'm going to go with Josh Hart with the New York Knicks.
- 28:00Josh Hart is he he's a 6th man. He's the 5th man.
- 28:04He does everything great. He can rebound.
- 28:07He he does offensive, defensive rebounding.
- 28:09He's the, as far as guards are concerned, he's one of the best
- 28:12rebounders in the league at his position and he plays the three,
- 28:16he plays the two, he plays the one.
- 28:17He defends multiple positions and he when he is in the
- 28:21starting line, if he's giving you almost a double AA game, he
- 28:24is sensational. He does a lot for the New York
- 28:26Knicks. And if you're a fantasy owner,
- 28:29Josh Hart is one of those guys. If you draft in after the fifth
- 28:33round, you get an absolutely an absolute steal.
- 28:37I'm going to go. Josh Hart is my number one right
- 28:38now. All right, I will then go
- 28:42because no one watches this team.
- 28:43I'll go Jaylen Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks, he has been one
- 28:48of like legitimately a top 10 or top 15 player in the league this
- 28:51year that no one is talking about.
- 28:53He's averaging 2310 and 8 super efficiently.
- 28:56The Hawks got better when Trey Young got out, got hurt, which
- 29:01This is why this question. I'm most overrated.
- 29:03I would go Trey Young then because of that.
- 29:04But they got better because Jaylen Johnson was able to take
- 29:07on the number one role on a team and he's that good.
- 29:11He'll be all NBA this year. I think if if people start
- 29:14taking notice of them. I'm going to go.
- 29:16My number 2 is I have to go with this guy.
- 29:18I can't stand this team, but I got to go with him.
- 29:21Peyton Pritchard, I mean the 6th man of the year last year.
- 29:25This guy can do everything. He scores in many different
- 29:27ways. He was a big part after Tatum
- 29:31went down. He was the only guy really
- 29:33scoring besides Jalen Brown for the Boston Celtics.
- 29:36This guy offensively sound and he remember he was a second
- 29:40round draft pick. A lot of people question him his
- 29:42size when he came into the league, so I'm going to go with
- 29:45Peyton Pritchard. I will go.
- 29:48I'll stick with my Grizzlies. I'll go Cam Spencer.
- 29:51Cam Spencer, she is averaging 12 points and four assists.
- 29:54He's emerged as a real like NBA starting level player this year.
- 29:58He's shooting over 50% from three and he is talking so much
- 30:01crap to every single team's bench.
- 30:05He told I think it was Durant. You can't F and guard me.
- 30:10You got to love him. Tons of tons of personality and
- 30:13just fire under him. He's been a big part why the
- 30:16Grizzlies have been winning games despite John Morant being
- 30:18out and Dow, Zach, Eddie being out.
- 30:21I'll go Cam Spencer. All right, my final pick and I'm
- 30:24looking at there's so many guys that I can go with this.
- 30:28I'm going to go with Trey Murphy and Trey Murphy for the Pelicans
- 30:31Elite 3 point shooter, versatile when it comes to defense.
- 30:35This guy could do everything on a basketball court.
- 30:38The Pelicans, there's nothing to there's nothing that stands out
- 30:42from the Pelicans as far as I'm concerned from this team.
- 30:45But Trey Murphy does everything right.
- 30:48He could shoot, he could defend. He's one of the more underrated
- 30:52players in the NBA. So as far as we're talking about
- 30:55underrated, I'm gonna go Trey Murphy.
- 30:57Yeah, I'll take another role player.
- 30:59I'll take Tari Eason with my last pick for the Rockets
- 31:03Supreme energy guy. He never turns the ball over.
- 31:05He has a high assist rate, gets a lot of steals.
- 31:07He gets a lot of offense rebounds.
- 31:09He creates three extra shots per game compared to the other team.
- 31:12He's also leading the league in three-point percentage as well.
- 31:14He's shooting 52% from three right now.
- 31:16All. Right, very good battle here.
- 31:18Yeah, this was a pretty intense one year.
- 31:21Last round of King of the Hill. Java come back in on camera.
- 31:23We got to make our selections here.
- 31:26I think I'll start here. I'll we'll go to Java and we'll
- 31:30finish it off with Tommy. Jaylen Johnson was the best of
- 31:33the individual picks for sure. I like the pick of Josh Hart as
- 31:37well and Trey Murphy's another one that I think is is an
- 31:40underrated one. I'm going to give Errol a slight
- 31:43edge. Even though I think Jaylen
- 31:44Johnson was the best individual one, I think collectively those
- 31:47two give him a slight knock. Jabba.
- 31:50Well, you know where I'm going and I'm going, Jared, just
- 31:56because the effort that he's made, not saying Errol doesn't
- 31:59make effort, but Jared's my dude and always will be.
- 32:04And love you, Errol, you know that.
- 32:06But I'm, I'm stuck with you And, and I hope Jared's stuck with us
- 32:12and I'm going to ride with him too.
- 32:13So the fact that his knowledge is it goes beyond just the
- 32:17surface level of what he looks at.
- 32:20And yeah, did he, did he stay with his Homer team a little
- 32:22bit, which we all love. We haven't had one Nebraska
- 32:27reference and we haven't needed to.
- 32:30There's anything been shit we need to talk about?
- 32:32They're not getting an NBA. Team I wasn't I wasn't going to
- 32:35name Bryce Mcgowan's as an option.
- 32:38You know what he's. He's he's.
- 32:41Alive and he's doing OK, but when you could have dropped a
- 32:45Tron Lou maybe, but he's a coach.
- 32:47Sorry and but no, Jared's my guy.
- 32:50Always arrow love you. But I'm going to Jared just
- 32:53because that's like you're not going to answer speedy on some
- 32:56things. I'm I'm going to hold that too.
- 32:58And Jared's my dude. Yeah, and from my final pick, I
- 33:02thought you guys picks were really, really good.
- 33:04I disagree with a little bit on the Peyton Pritchard pick, but I
- 33:07do think that Errol's other two picks were a lot stronger,
- 33:10Jared. So hey, man, I gave you the I
- 33:13gave you the little bit of a lot.
- 33:14But hey, it's all good, man. You'll throw it down next time
- 33:16you're on here. It's fine, I didn't deserve to
- 33:20be in this final round anyway. So no, I'll tell you why.
- 33:23And by the way, I am not a Peyton Pritchard fan, but this
- 33:27guy has. For the last two years he's been
- 33:30one of the best six man players in the league.
- 33:33And would you call him underrated though?
- 33:35I did, absolutely, absolutely. What's your, what's your death
- 33:39like? That's the one thing I want to
- 33:41ask. Like, what is your definition of
- 33:43like? What does underrated mean?
- 33:46My definition of underrated is guys that are not appreciated in
- 33:50the league as much as they should be.
- 33:52And Peyton Pritchard, even though he was the 6th man of the
- 33:56year, people forget what he is on the on the Celtics because
- 34:00you got Jason Tatum, you got Jaylen Brown.
- 34:03You used to have Porzingis there.
- 34:06Yeah, I'm just, I'm just saying he's he's hidden from talent
- 34:09around him. So people forget that Peyton
- 34:11Pritchard was a big part of their their record over the last
- 34:15couple of years and why they've been such a good team every
- 34:18single season over the last couple of years.
- 34:20And he was a steal in the second round.
- 34:22Remember, this guy was a second round draft back.
- 34:25So Kim Spencer was the 53rd pick.
- 34:26I. Blessing James Benser.
- 34:30Dropping knowledge, Gerald. Dropping knowledge.
- 34:32Let's put them. Next to each other, Kim
- 34:33Spencer's been better this year. This year, But who's been better
- 34:37all around? Yeah, Spencer's only in a second
- 34:39season. You do have to get.
- 34:43My guys are too underrated. They're too underrated.
- 34:46They're still flying. Jared, they'll give you this.
- 34:48Errol can like care Spencer because he played for U Conn and
- 34:51Dan Hurley, Hurley's Errol's favorite college basketball
- 34:53coach. Ed.
- 34:54He was the one that shot so well that it stirred up Klay Thompson
- 34:57whining to John Moran. First of all, Bobby Hurley is my
- 35:00favorite college basketball coach just because he's Bobby
- 35:02Hurley. But I like the Hurley brothers
- 35:05and I love Danny Hurley and I root for Danny Hurley and I
- 35:08think he'll be a great. Did that ever bother you in blue
- 35:11chips when he was coaching a different team?
- 35:14I'm not going to answer that. I love blue chips.
- 35:20I love the movie and. Well, I'm just asking, did that
- 35:24did that not bother you? Yes, of course, of course.
- 35:28OK, Bobby Hurley is my all time, one of my all time favorite
- 35:32players in any sport. So I just follow everything that
- 35:36he that he is on and off the basketball court.
- 35:39And by the way, I'm working, we're working on getting Bobby
- 35:41Hurley on the show cuz that would be a great treat to go
- 35:44back and forth and talk basketball, college basketball,
- 35:47NBA basketball. With Bobby Hurley, Hurley
- 35:49family's got to be in the top five of royalty in basketball,
- 35:52right? No question, no question.
- 35:54I don't think anybody can argue that.
- 35:56And, and most successful too, if you think about it, their father
- 36:00won how many state championships over there in New Jersey?
- 36:04And Bobby Hurley was a great player, two time NCAA champion,
- 36:09never won it and then hit and then obviously Danny Hurley won
- 36:12back-to-back championships for the NCAA self with UConn.
- 36:15So I think they've been the most successful family when it comes
- 36:19to college and high school ball. And and by the way, they all
- 36:24play for their father and Danny Hurley was a terrible college
- 36:27player over there in Princeton. So, and I don't think Danny
- 36:31wants to hear that, but it's true.
- 36:33He wasn't that great of a basketball player, but great
- 36:36coach, great family. That's one we need to do like
- 36:39royalty and families in all of sports.
- 36:42A lot of people don't like really think about like the
- 36:45Venables in baseball is a royalty family.
- 36:48Yeah. Yep, which a lot of people don't
- 36:50like understand that. And I don't think a lot of
- 36:52people talk about those like we all get the bonds as we all get
- 36:55the all the other stuff of, you know, the Mannings and all.
- 36:59But there's a lot of great families that have been in this
- 37:01game that people don't really look upon, you know?
- 37:05Yep and and that's why I think sports Gordie Howe the 2 they
- 37:10Gordie Howe is the only father and son.
- 37:14The only father that played with both his sons before he retired
- 37:17on the same team. Now how crazy is that?
- 37:20And. My bad players to play 5
- 37:21decades. I, I mean, the guy was
- 37:23unbelievable and the guy had some stamina and didn't matter
- 37:25how old he was, Gord and he was so mean.
- 37:28And I, I, I had the privilege to meet Gordie Howe, one of the
- 37:31nicest hockey personalities you'll ever meet.
- 37:36I mean, guys so gracious. He'll sign everything.
- 37:39And so he will talk hockey with you.
- 37:41And by the way, his second favorite sport.
- 37:43You'll like this. His second favorite sport he is
- 37:47basketball, so he loves talking basketball.
- 37:49So true story about Gordie Howe, he loves talking about NBA
- 37:53basketball. Could your Could you guys guess
- 37:55who his favorite basketball team was?
- 37:58Gordie Howe? Was he a Pistons fan?
- 38:01No, he. Was not.
- 38:04Was it something that wouldn't be obvious from like, Gordy's
- 38:07upbringing? It's obvious.
- 38:08It's obvious. Knicks fan No.
- 38:12Celtics No. You guys guess I I'll give your.
- 38:15Guess three times. I don't know anything, all
- 38:17right. Basketball was your favorite.
- 38:19Was Gordie Howe's favorite? I know, but I don't know
- 38:21anything about Gordie Howe all. Right.
- 38:22His favorite basketball team was, believe it or not, his
- 38:25favorite basketball team was an old team.
- 38:28Speedy got to guess this. The Lakers.
- 38:29I'm just going to be dumb. He's a Laker fan.
- 38:32He was a Laker fan. He grew up a Laker fan.
- 38:34I don't want to wait for Speedy. As he'll say so, he must have
- 38:36started with the Minneapolis. Lakes.
- 38:39Anyways, that is it for King of the Hill.
- 38:42And now what's that smell? Hold up, what is that smell?
- 38:47What's? That smell.
- 38:53Wow, wow, You don't see that every day.
- 38:55So we lost Nathan and he disappeared off the face of the
- 39:01And by the way, Sam Donald was having one of the worst games of
- 39:04his career. Set it up now.
- 39:05And now he has 13 points and I was kicking, I thought I was
- 39:09going to kick the you know what out of fish.
- 39:12And now he's got 13 points and now they can win the game.
- 39:14But hopefully, you know, we can see if the Rams could pull this
- 39:18game out and doesn't go to overtime because I.
- 39:20Don't want? Oh Speedy, that might be a
- 39:22popcorn moment next show. Oh yeah.
- 39:25I guess Sam was playing terrible.
- 39:28He threw 2 interceptions. He's looked really, really bad.
- 39:31He only has one touchdown. He does play bad against the
- 39:33Rams dating back to. Last year, and I thought he was
- 39:37only going to he was only he wasn't even going to get into
- 39:39the teens. And then all of a sudden, you
- 39:40know, the Rams have let him come back into the game.
- 39:42So it doesn't make me any happier to watch this.
- 39:44So anyways, all right, so it's pretty easy.
- 39:48You're going to give us a story and you're going to tell us what
- 39:50it smells like. Ladies and gentlemen, Are you
- 39:53ready? All right, let's go, let's go,
- 39:57poops Speedy Jabba, Jarrett, me. We'll give Jarrett the final
- 40:02one, you know, the second to final one.
- 40:04All right, here we go all. Right.
- 40:05Why do you guys have to take the final the straw?
- 40:08I'm here, dude. I should.
- 40:10Because I'm, I got to do the, the, the ending part of the
- 40:13show, you know? Well, you always end the show.
- 40:16Let Jarrett end it on this segment.
- 40:18All right, I'll go second to last and we'll let charity in
- 40:23all. Right, because they're lovely
- 40:25saying that is his his kumbaya to to the show, right all.
- 40:30Right, let him. Go, let's go.
- 40:32All right, so to start mine off, I've been doing a lot of
- 40:36wrestling. This is still containing to
- 40:38wrestling a bit and many people know Nikki Bella.
- 40:41Nikki Bella, one of the older dating back, I guess diva
- 40:44wrestlers. I couldn't really stand her to
- 40:46be honest with you. But Nikki Bella is in the rumors
- 40:49for apparently dating 22 year old Cooper De Jean.
- 40:53Now for those who don't know the Bella Twins or others, twin
- 40:58sister Nicky Aubrey Bella, the the two twins, they're both
- 41:02known for being huge Eagle supporters.
- 41:04Huge Eagle fans celebrated their asses off last year for the
- 41:07Super Bowl win. And yeah, she's apparently 42
- 41:10years old on her cougar behavior going out with 22 year old
- 41:14Cooper de Jean. Now.
- 41:16Hey, let the math fun. She's just coming off of a
- 41:18domestic arrest assault thing with her husband from Dancing
- 41:22With the Stars. She's not seeing her man John
- 41:25Cena anymore, literally, physically and emotionally and.
- 41:29Yeah, let her. He's retiring, isn't it?
- 41:30Yeah, so. She can't see him physically and
- 41:33emotionally, you know, so but hey, she let her have some fun
- 41:36with a 22 year old, let her be on some cougar behavior.
- 41:39Why not? And let's be honest, Cooper to
- 41:41Jean, he kind of struck gold a little bit.
- 41:43She's not too like hard to look at in the eyes so.
- 41:45I'm just that guy could get any girl he wants.
- 41:49That is true, but hey, can he can anybody else say that they
- 41:51got Nikki Bella 42 year old Nikki?
- 41:54Bella, I don't. I don't think that means
- 41:55anything. Probably not, but hey, hey, like
- 41:58I said, let them have some fun. You know, who cares, really?
- 42:01I don't really care, but it's kind of funny just considering
- 42:04that I did the math. She was technically, or he was
- 42:07technically, four years old when she did her WWE debut.
- 42:11That makes it more weird. Dude, I don't know that's they,
- 42:15that's just the math. Everybody could have done the
- 42:17math with that, but. Drobo smack my.
- 42:20What does it smell like? Well, I got to say, it just
- 42:23smells. Like I need a blow pop.
- 42:25The most rancid Philly cheese steak that Cooper de Jean just
- 42:29pulled out of his ass. Because.
- 42:31Poops gets no coots and I. Don't know a lot of people that
- 42:33do like him either. So there we go, all.
- 42:35Right. I love Lisa Ann.
- 42:37Before before I move on to Vine Tommy, here's the real question.
- 42:39If this relationship doesn't work out, what is the chances
- 42:42Niffen has with Nikki Bella? I got to go back off to.
- 42:45Give. But you know, Nikki might
- 42:47actually like the the behavior. So I'm putting you on a leash
- 42:52now that. Gives Nathan about like a 67 to
- 42:5470. Percent a lot of hot ladies.
- 42:56No, that you know what that gives him?
- 42:58That's from Dumb and Dumber when they're at the end of the scene
- 43:01and it's one in the million. So you're saying I got a chance?
- 43:06Pretty much there's a chance Speedy's mom all.
- 43:09Right, so I'll move on to some college football and we talked
- 43:11about Nick Saban a little bit before with Wesson.
- 43:14Let's parlay. And he likes to say a lot of
- 43:15things since he's been retired. Now he's accusing Texas A&M of
- 43:20pumping in fake crowd noise into their stadium, which is the 4th
- 43:25largest stadium in college football.
- 43:27They deem themselves the college football 12th man at Kyle Field.
- 43:30And it is a very loud state. I mean, when they were in the
- 43:32Big 12, Jabba, you know this, they've got really loud venues
- 43:36over there and Nick Saban is accusing them of pumping in his
- 43:39fake crowd noise. Apparently the SEC is
- 43:41manipulating them to do it in order to get better ratings,
- 43:44better matchups, and more prime time games.
- 43:46Because Texas A and MI believe there was a stat I think LSU
- 43:49would the most and then the second most was Texas A&M.
- 43:53So Nick Saban, stop being salty about a team that's beaten you a
- 43:56few times the last couple years. So what does that smell like?
- 43:59I wish Fish was here because he would love.
- 44:00He would love this one because it's a shot at Evan Neil.
- 44:02It smells like Alabama alum Evan Neil taking a ride on.
- 44:06Apparently this is a thing in Alabama, The New York City Poop
- 44:09train for the entire length of our show.
- 44:12Yum Yum. The New York City poop train in
- 44:15Parish, Alabama as a thing. So if you took, if you took a 3
- 44:181/2 hour ride on that and what Evan Neal would smell like
- 44:21coming out of it, that's what this smells like.
- 44:22Poops gets no coots. Mine's going to be mine's going
- 44:25to be a little probably on the opposite side.
- 44:28And I'm going to go NASCAR and what's that smell?
- 44:31And I'm going to give kudos to what Greg Biffle did and he had
- 44:36passed away, obviously, and they in a plane crash.
- 44:40And what's that smell like? We've lost so many great
- 44:43individuals along so many capacities of not only sports,
- 44:48but entertainment too. And that's what sports is, is
- 44:51entertainment, right? And you know, we can go back and
- 44:55look at like the first ever, you know, private plane crash.
- 44:58And, you know, there's been obviously so many that come
- 45:00along and it's just it, it, it's so hard to see in, in, you know,
- 45:05thoughts and prayers to his family.
- 45:06He was only 55 years old. And the things that, and what
- 45:10that smells like to me is just like the understanding we all
- 45:13have opportunities in life to do certain things.
- 45:16And we've lost great athletes. We've lost great people to so
- 45:20many. And these these are only ones
- 45:21that we get to see from a certain distance because they're
- 45:24in the limelight. There's been so many more that
- 45:26have that have passed in that same context.
- 45:28But it's just, it's, we need to understand what the smell is
- 45:32like is, is to smell what life is and, and to understand that
- 45:37it's precious and you never know what's going to end.
- 45:39So enjoy every aspect of everything that's happening and
- 45:43the opportunities that you have and embrace them, love them and
- 45:46enjoy every second you got because you don't know what it's
- 45:48going to take. Away all right my what's that
- 45:52smell goes to Diego Pavia and he at the Heisman Trophy awards
- 45:59said something interesting to after finding out that Mendoza
- 46:03was going to win. He said F all voters but family
- 46:09for life and it really stroke a bad look at Mendoza and looked
- 46:16like a sore loser. He really looked like a sore
- 46:19loser and then after that 24 hours later he came back and he
- 46:23apologized to Mendoza because he thought Mendoza very well
- 46:27deserved and and said that Mendoza had a great year and and
- 46:30and apologized to all the fans out there that are rooting and
- 46:34have rooted for Mendoza all season long and and apologized
- 46:37to the committee and said that it was a wonderful award show
- 46:40and it was a wonderful opportunity and he just is very
- 46:44thankful for being there and it definitely looked like he was
- 46:49being a sore loser and it didn't look good for Diego.
- 46:51Diego's going into this year's draft.
- 46:53He's probably going to be undrafted.
- 46:54He's small I and also what was so interesting about it was
- 46:59Johnny Manziel went to he was at one of his games recently and he
- 47:04was doing he was vaping and he was smoking looked really really
- 47:07bad and and he was all over social media putting Pavia you
- 47:11know. Diego Pavia out there like this
- 47:13guy should be, and maybe he should have.
- 47:15Pavia had a great season. And when you're comparing him to
- 47:18Mendoza, I mean, you can argue that Pavia had a better, better
- 47:22seed. He was.
- 47:23A better numbers, yes. Most Valuable Player to his
- 47:26team, but Mendoza, it took Indiana to the number one seed
- 47:29and it's the first time ever to do that and and beat Ohio State
- 47:33in the conference championship. So.
- 47:35What that's that's that's our argument that we've had is does
- 47:39does winning play that factor into it and what he's done like,
- 47:43but Hobby has done that too with with something that's never been
- 47:47done before as well. Well, I'm not saying that he
- 47:50didn't, but he didn't take his team to the the tournament.
- 47:53And no, and that's why I said does does winning is winning
- 47:56that context of of. OK.
- 47:59I think 100%. I think winning means everything
- 48:02and that's the way I believe when you look at the voting.
- 48:05We've had that argument amongst one another where does winning
- 48:09make you the best at what you do are considered one of the
- 48:12greatest. I don't think he was considered
- 48:16because he, I think that the voters looked at it for what he
- 48:20did against Ohio State at the end of the game, what he's done
- 48:23against some of the the better teams of the nation when he
- 48:26needed to come back and bring his team back.
- 48:28I'm not saying Pavia didn't have a good, yeah, I don't think
- 48:30anybody he was second in the voting.
- 48:32But I think Mendoza, because of taking Indiana to that, did he
- 48:39hit this? Nope.
- 48:40Little wide right. Wow.
- 48:42Oh wow, that's not that's not good.
- 48:46That's not good for Seattle and they got two.
- 48:47I mean, that's not good for the Rams, by the way.
- 48:49So Seattle, all they got to do is get it to the 35 yard line
- 48:53and their field goal kicker is one of the best in, you know, in
- 48:55the league right now. So that's a legend, Jason Myers.
- 48:58What it smells like, well, it smells like poops his ass when
- 49:01he takes a dump. Especially six or seven times on
- 49:04the show. Man, oh man, I take a whiff of
- 49:06that when I'm sitting in the studio.
- 49:08So it is a smelly one. Did you just say 6 or 7?
- 49:12Get up a lot. You went bare, Tommy.
- 49:14You get you get a lot. You get up a lot during the
- 49:17show, so. Do you do you have IBS?
- 49:20Me. No, not that I know of.
- 49:22Hopefully not. You're too young to do that.
- 49:27All right. Jared.
- 49:29My, my final. What's that smell?
- 49:31I'll be going to the universe or sorry to Ohio University, who
- 49:35fired their football coach Brian Smith last week.
- 49:38We are now learning that he was fired with 'cause we're having
- 49:41an extramarital affair with an undergrad as well as public
- 49:45intoxication. As as someone who works in the
- 49:49education sphere, this is gross on so many levels.
- 49:52Apparently he did it. He was intoxicated on campus.
- 49:55He also had the affair at an on campus hotel.
- 49:59Just what a gross weird dude. Kudos to the university were
- 50:02firing him. Also, shame on the university
- 50:04for hiring someone with such low moral fiber.
- 50:07As in the 1st place. But what's that smell?
- 50:09It smells like the puddle of urine and vomit that Brian Smith
- 50:13woke up in this morning. And finally, I want to thank all
- 50:18of y'all for for letting me on this show and giving me, you
- 50:21know, a chance. It has been an absolute blast.
- 50:25It has been inspiring as well. My friend and I just started our
- 50:29own show and I like as someone who used to have a like
- 50:32crippling fear of public speaking, doing this has helped
- 50:35me tremendously and really, really helped a lot.
- 50:37So truthfully, thank you all so much.
- 50:40Well, I before Jabba has, I'm sure Jabba has his own take to
- 50:44it. I think you're a great kid.
- 50:46I think you have a tremendous opportunity in this industry.
- 50:49Whatever you decide to do, we are here for you.
- 50:52If you if you need any help, if you need any references and if
- 50:55you ever want to come on the show or you want to ever help
- 50:57out on the show, you're more than welcome to.
- 51:00I think you're a great kid and I think you'll be very successful
- 51:04no matter what you do. So I, I just think you're an
- 51:07amazing first of all, and you know, you're back, you know your
- 51:10sports, so you're educated in sports.
- 51:12And I could see why you decided to move towards this business
- 51:16because I think you're, you fit this business and you fit that
- 51:19kind of mold and personality to do this kind of business.
- 51:22So that that's what I would say about you.
- 51:24Jared, I'll go there as well before, before you finish off
- 51:26Java. I think your knowledge,
- 51:28especially in the NBA and in college, college sports as well,
- 51:31is really in depth. A lot of the a lot of the
- 51:34markets that are in here in New York, we don't get to know as
- 51:37much than you with your Louisiana background now living
- 51:40in Memphis as well, get more in depth for that kind of thing.
- 51:42And even in the private chat. So always, always great chatting
- 51:45with us. You do a fantastic job with the
- 51:47graphics and the video editing when you've had to be on calls
- 51:50getting these videos even for today when fish couldn't be
- 51:52there for our first two segments.
- 51:54Always, always a hard worker, always reliable and it was good
- 51:57luck with your show and you're again, you're always welcome to
- 51:59come on. College football, college
- 52:01basketball, NBA stuff. Just let me know.
- 52:04Yeah, and real quick too, let me throw in there too, I would say,
- 52:07Jared, you know, it's been a pleasure working with you, man.
- 52:09I will say to carry off what Speedy and Arrow was just saying
- 52:12too as well. You know, the fact is, is of
- 52:14you, you just carry yourself a very sophistication, everything
- 52:18that you talk about, so very sophisticated when you're
- 52:20talking about sports. And like Earl said, you
- 52:22definitely know what you're talking about with your sports.
- 52:24So it was absolutely a blast having you man.
- 52:27And you know, hey, let us know what your show is or whatever.
- 52:29We'll definitely tune. In there, Yeah.
- 52:30For me and Jared too, it's like, obviously the sports side is one
- 52:33thing, man, but the greatest compliment we can get is getting
- 52:37comfortable with the uncomfortable, right?
- 52:39And when I started doing this, it was, you know, I, I, I've
- 52:44done a lot of stuff because that's kind of what I've done.
- 52:46But you, you just saying as the greatest compliment that that
- 52:49you can give us and what we provided you is something to get
- 52:54comfortable with the uncomfortable.
- 52:56And your knowledge is, is, is bar none, like something you
- 53:01love and like it's not fake. And, and we can understand that
- 53:05and what we see. And I was actually raving about
- 53:07you today. And we, we've had some really
- 53:09good interns in the aspect of kind of what they do.
- 53:12But like, it's not only like what you it, it's because you
- 53:16care. And I think for me, it's like
- 53:19seeing that in, in the capacity of, of how you've done it.
- 53:23And man, just want to see you succeed and want to see
- 53:28everything that you're doing. And you know, if we can help in
- 53:31any way, please let us know. We're only a text or a Callaway
- 53:35if there's something that we can help with you.
- 53:36But man, it's been an absolute pleasure.
- 53:39It's it. I've learned a lot from you and
- 53:42I learn every day on the show and it's because of you guys.
- 53:45And I'm very grateful for that. And I'm glad you gave us the
- 53:49opportunity to be able to do that.
- 53:51So thank you so much. And hopefully we weren't full of
- 53:54shit all the time, maybe just half the time.
- 53:57But you've been great, man. And I appreciate your time
- 54:01because we know time is the biggest thing that you have, and
- 54:05we just appreciate it more than you'll ever know.
- 54:07My rear end is burning. Thank you so much.
- 54:12Thank thank you all so much for the kind words.
- 54:14Wow, it's yeah, you're it's not. We have to.
- 54:19It's because you earned it, man. How'd you respect?
- 54:22Respect is earned, not given. Puka Decoy is a friggin beast
- 54:26man. That guy is unbelievable bad.
- 54:29These catches that this guy is making tonight is ridiculous.
- 54:33What a fight by Sean McVay. I can't stand Sean McVay.
- 54:35That's it for our show ladies and gentlemen.
- 54:37Thank you to all the Spotify and Apple fans tuning into us or the
- 54:41video and audio. Thank you to all the fans out
- 54:44there following us on YouTube job in the mouth Reddit job in
- 54:47the mouth, all the Tik Toks and Instagrams job in the mouth, all
