- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the Bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Okay, here we go.
- 0:04Speaker 1: Where the plays get broken down and science gets denied.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Dude, they said I gotta come off the bench.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Hour two of Off the Bench, live from the Raising
- 0:12Speaker 1: Cane Studio.
- 0:36Speaker 4: All right.
- 0:51Speaker 5: Welcome back in OTV. Live from the Raising Cane Studio.
- 0:54Speaker 5: Hour number two. Shows on Monday brought to you by
- 0:58Speaker 5: our friends over at Bayou Automotive. BayouAutomotive.com. Jake Flynn, Alonja Tate,
- 1:03Speaker 5: Wolfpack all here with you. And our number one was
- 1:05Speaker 5: a lot of fun. Talked about LSU's.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Victory on the plains there against the Auburn Tigers.
- 1:09Speaker 5: And now, well, we've got to go to a game
- 1:11Speaker 5: that's not going to be as fun to talk about.
- 1:13Speaker 2: The Saints lose again. Our number one was fun, so
- 1:17Speaker 2: our number two is going to be not fun.
- 1:19Speaker 5: Well, the conversation was a fun topic. Well, this one
- 1:23Speaker 5: is not going to be as fun. The New Orleans
- 1:25Speaker 5: Saints lose in Paris 16-10 to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The
- 1:31Speaker 5: Steelers are now 5-2 on the season. The Saints are 2-5. Now,
- 1:35Speaker 5: there were some good things about this game. Tyler Shuck.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I mean, 30 of 38, 278, threw a touchdown. Had
- 1:43Speaker 5: a bad interception, no doubt about it.
- 1:45Speaker 3: But still, didn't have a bad game.
- 1:47Speaker 2: That was a really good interception by that player. That
- 1:49Speaker 2: was a hell of a play.
- 1:51Speaker 3: He's a good player.
- 1:51Speaker 2: That was a hell of a play.
- 1:52Speaker 3: He's like a hybrid linebacker.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Touch it on the run, low and away like that,
- 1:56Speaker 2: and be able to keep it off the ground. He's
- 1:57Speaker 2: a pretty good player.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Sorry. Okay, all right.
- 2:02Speaker 5: Barryon Brown had a 49-yard catch. That was a lot
- 2:05Speaker 5: of fun to see him get involved. AK was really
- 2:07Speaker 5: good out of the backfield. He had seven catches in
- 2:10Speaker 5: the game. I hope you're sitting down if you enjoy
- 2:15Speaker 5: running the football because you're not going to enjoy what
- 2:17Speaker 5: I'm about to tell you. You probably already know if
- 2:20Speaker 5: you watched the game, but just in case you missed it,
- 2:23Speaker 5: the New Orleans Saints as a professional football team had
- 2:26Speaker 5: 17 carries, wait for it, for 18 yards. That's 1.1
- 2:36Speaker 5: yard per rush. Their longest run of the game was
- 2:40Speaker 5: a six-yard run by Tyler Shuck. Now, this is not
- 2:44Speaker 5: college football. In college football, If you saw this stat,
- 2:48Speaker 5: it'd be bad. But maybe the quarterback got sacked seven times.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Those yards come off your rushing total in college football.
- 2:57Speaker 5: This isn't college football. This is the NFL. That's not
- 3:00Speaker 5: what happens. These numbers are what they are. Tyler Shuck
- 3:05Speaker 5: was your leading rusher with seven yards. Let that sink in.
- 3:11Speaker 5: He had three carries for seven yards. He had the
- 3:15Speaker 5: longest run of the day, a six-yard run. Kendra Miller
- 3:19Speaker 5: had eight carries for six yards. That's 0.8 yards per carry.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Alvin Kamara had six carries for five yards. That's 0.8
- 3:28Speaker 5: yards per carry. I don't care who you're playing. I
- 3:33Speaker 5: don't care where you're playing. If you run the football
- 3:37Speaker 5: 17 times for 18 yards, you're not going to win
- 3:42Speaker 5: that game.
- 3:43Speaker 3: You're just not going to.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Now, Shuck made some plays in the passing game your
- 3:48Speaker 5: defense played their tails off they gave you everything that
- 3:51Speaker 5: they possibly could give you right there was a lot
- 3:54Speaker 5: of strain on that side of the football you're just
- 3:58Speaker 5: not going to win it's not going to happen you
- 4:02Speaker 5: know how hard it is to run the ball 17
- 4:04Speaker 5: times and only pick up 18 yards and i'm not
- 4:07Speaker 5: going to throw all this on the running backs either
- 4:09Speaker 5: because even though we've got questions and concerns about the
- 4:12Speaker 5: running backs for the saints they're pros If there was
- 4:16Speaker 5: anywhere to get a yard, two yards, three yards, you're
- 4:20Speaker 5: going to find that more times than not. It wasn't there.
- 4:25Speaker 5: It was not there. If I'm watching this tape, I
- 4:29Speaker 5: don't really know where to tell you where to run.
- 4:33Speaker 3: You read your keys, you find a crease, you hit
- 4:35Speaker 3: the crease, you get four yards.
- 4:37Speaker 5: That wasn't there. I don't care what the situation is.
- 4:43Speaker 5: If you don't run the football... better than one yard
- 4:48Speaker 5: per carry, it is not going to go your way
- 4:51Speaker 5: on a Sunday. And then your quarterback has to put
- 4:55Speaker 5: on a cape and be Superman if you want to
- 4:59Speaker 5: do anything of note. He has to. And that's a
- 5:02Speaker 5: second-year player. It's a really good player. He's the future
- 5:04Speaker 5: of your franchise. I truly believe that. But if you
- 5:08Speaker 5: don't help him out more, if you don't take some
- 5:10Speaker 5: pressure off him by running the football better, then even
- 5:14Speaker 5: a really good player who is going to be your
- 5:17Speaker 5: quarterback for a long time, it's too much. Football has
- 5:23Speaker 5: to complement each other through the passing game, the running game,
- 5:27Speaker 5: through offense and defense and special teams. It's all about
- 5:30Speaker 5: complementing each other. 17 rushes for 18 yards isn't complementing anything.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Hmm, man.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I think you summed it up pretty nicely there with
- 5:45Speaker 2: the run game. It's really bad. It's historically bad. There
- 5:49Speaker 2: might not be a worse performance in the history of
- 5:52Speaker 2: the NFL when you talk about continuously trying to establish
- 5:56Speaker 2: the run and not being able to. Your longest being
- 6:04Speaker 2: six from your quarterback with 18 rush attempts or 17
- 6:11Speaker 2: rush attempts is really tough to do. And look, this
- 6:14Speaker 2: is It's fun to, you know, we've hated on Kendra Miller.
- 6:19Speaker 2: I know Jake's talked about it with the fumbles and everything.
- 6:22Speaker 2: He's still a professional running back. Like, he can make
- 6:26Speaker 2: five yards if five yards is there to get. Now,
- 6:29Speaker 2: he might fumble at the end of it, but he'd
- 6:31Speaker 2: still get there and fumble. Like, there just wasn't anything.
- 6:36Speaker 2: New Orleans Saints, for whatever reason, they're broken. I don't
- 6:43Speaker 2: know what it is. You have a game where your
- 6:51Speaker 2: defense played its tails off. Like, they gave you every
- 6:54Speaker 2: opportunity to do it. You can't do the simple things
- 6:57Speaker 2: on offense. And you have an offensive-minded head coach. You
- 7:03Speaker 2: can't do it. You can't start. You can't finish. You can't, like,
- 7:07Speaker 2: there's just, Tyler Shuck is your bright spot. Chris Alave
- 7:11Speaker 2: is a bright spot. there are some bright spots out
- 7:14Speaker 2: there that show up every single game, but they can
- 7:17Speaker 2: only like, like they can't do every, they can't do
- 7:19Speaker 2: it every single play.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Right.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Very umbrella is awesome to see him do that thing.
- 7:23Speaker 2: But like, did any point, did anybody at any point
- 7:25Speaker 2: during the game think they were going to win? No, no.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Like even when the saints were, or the, the Steelers
- 7:31Speaker 2: are struggling on offense, I know it was a 16
- 7:33Speaker 2: to 10 game, but did anybody think that the saints
- 7:35Speaker 2: were going to win at any point in the game?
- 7:38Speaker 2: Maybe they hope before the kickoff, Maybe they hoped when
- 7:42Speaker 2: they stopped, like, I think they stopped the Steelers and
- 7:44Speaker 2: it was 3-0, like, after the first drive. And they're like, okay, well,
- 7:48Speaker 2: maybe we're going to do it this time.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Maybe this is it.
- 7:50Speaker 2: But we stopped them right there in the red zone.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Maybe Aaron's not having a day, which Aaron didn't have
- 7:55Speaker 2: his best day. But, like, when your team– when the
- 7:59Speaker 2: game is 16-10 and you're within, like, one score the
- 8:03Speaker 2: entire time, and I believe, like, when you take, like,
- 8:07Speaker 2: a consensus with your entire fan base– and say, did
- 8:10Speaker 2: anybody think the Saints were going to win that game?
- 8:14Speaker 2: Did they actually think it, or did you just hope?
- 8:17Speaker 2: Did you actually think that they were going to win
- 8:19Speaker 2: the game? When I would say 90% of your fan
- 8:22Speaker 2: base probably said, no, I didn't think at any point
- 8:25Speaker 2: we were going to win that game, you're broken. And
- 8:29Speaker 2: it's got to be fixed. And you have to stop
- 8:35Speaker 2: doing the definition of insanity.
- 8:39Speaker 3: You have to.
- 8:40Speaker 2: You have to do something different. I don't care. You're
- 8:44Speaker 2: going to win some more games this season. You're going to.
- 8:47Speaker 3: You got shut out in three quarters of action, the first, third,
- 8:51Speaker 3: and fourth quarter of this game.
- 8:53Speaker 2: You got embarrassed in Paris. And this is just me.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I'm a contrarian sometimes. I'm friends with Aaron. I was
- 9:05Speaker 2: cheering for him. That's just how it worked out emotionally
- 9:09Speaker 2: for me. but I'm also cheering for like the saints
- 9:12Speaker 2: to be better. I want them to be good. I
- 9:14Speaker 2: want them to be better. Like at some point yesterday,
- 9:16Speaker 2: I was just like, stick a dagger in them. Steelers
- 9:20Speaker 2: stick a dagger in them. So it embarrassed them enough
- 9:24Speaker 2: to make a big change, to make a drastic, like
- 9:27Speaker 2: reactionary on the tarmac type change situation right here. I
- 9:32Speaker 2: was cheering for Aaron to stick a dagger in them.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And I say that because I want the saints to
- 9:39Speaker 2: be good. But they're not going to doing the same
- 9:42Speaker 2: things over and over and over. It's not changing. You
- 9:47Speaker 2: have a second year star in the making quarterback. Do
- 9:53Speaker 2: not waste him. And I hate to say that. I
- 9:58Speaker 2: was cheering for the dagger yesterday and I was I
- 10:04Speaker 2: was hoping it was going to be worse than 16
- 10:05Speaker 2: to 10 and I say that just because I want
- 10:09Speaker 2: them to have success and they're not going to do
- 10:12Speaker 2: it the trajectory is going.
- 10:17Speaker 5: No it's hmm It's tough because it's so hard to
- 10:22Speaker 5: find certain pieces in the National Football League, and when
- 10:27Speaker 5: you have one, and I do think, and I know
- 10:29Speaker 5: you think as well, that Tyler Shuck is that guy,
- 10:31Speaker 5: can be that piece, can be a quarterback for a decade,
- 10:35Speaker 5: and you actually have guys around him as far as
- 10:37Speaker 5: receivers that are holding up their end of the bargain,
- 10:41Speaker 5: and you put a roster together where you want to
- 10:45Speaker 5: run the football better, you want to be better in
- 10:47Speaker 5: the run game, and when it's not just Not good,
- 10:50Speaker 5: but it's actually.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Painfully bad. Like, somebody has to answer for that. When
- 10:59Speaker 3: you sign a.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Running back to a $ 53 million contract, and I know
- 11:02Speaker 5: that he's out, but then you sign a guard and
- 11:04Speaker 5: you sign a tight end and you draft a tight
- 11:06Speaker 5: end in the third round, like.
- 11:08Speaker 3: Man, come on, this is the National Football League, man.
- 11:10Speaker 5: You've got to run the football better than 1.1 yards
- 11:13Speaker 5: per carry.
- 11:13Speaker 3: That's embarrassing. That's embarrassing.
- 11:16Speaker 5: You could line up and run fullback belly 17 times
- 11:19Speaker 5: to get more yards than that. You could line up
- 11:22Speaker 5: a fullback, run fullback belly every play, and he's going
- 11:25Speaker 5: to get you more yards than you got in your running.
- 11:27Speaker 2: And look, what you're saying, Jake, you could run quarterback
- 11:33Speaker 2: sneak seven times to get more yards than that. Right?
- 11:37Speaker 2: You could run quarterback sneak and get 25 yards 17 times. Whatever.
- 11:42Speaker 2: You could get more than that. It's hard to do
- 11:45Speaker 2: what they did. And you know what they did it with?
- 11:48Speaker 2: They did it with a lot of draft capital on
- 11:54Speaker 2: the offensive line. They did it with your front office
- 11:58Speaker 2: and GM trying to fix it in the offseason. The
- 12:02Speaker 2: things that they have worked so hard and spent so
- 12:04Speaker 2: much capital on, monetary capital, draft capital on, to fix
- 12:08Speaker 2: offensive line play and running game, and it sucks.
- 12:12Speaker 5: Yeah, you've got, let's see, one, two things. Three first-round picks.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Yep.
- 12:18Speaker 3: A second-round pick.
- 12:19Speaker 2: $ 50 million in the running game.
- 12:20Speaker 3: And then a huge free agent signing on your offensive line. Sorry.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I'm sure their first rounder panned out.
- 12:26Speaker 5: Well, and that's not even to mention the one that
- 12:28Speaker 5: left last year for a bag of Skittles that you
- 12:31Speaker 5: traded in Trevor Penning.
- 12:32Speaker 2: But the first round this year, I'm sure he impacted
- 12:34Speaker 2: pretty good.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Oh, Jordan. He was on the trip.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Was he? Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 3: He didn't play or practice, but he's on the trip.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I can't even put my finger on what needs to change.
- 12:46Speaker 3: It's really, it's, I can't get over it.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Watching the game, I knew it was bad, but going
- 12:55Speaker 5: back and watching some clips, it was even worse. It's
- 13:00Speaker 5: as bad as a run game. And Green Bay's is bad.
- 13:03Speaker 5: Green Bay's is really, really bad.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Rather theirs.
- 13:06Speaker 5: And they're finding ways, though, to still be competitive and
- 13:09Speaker 5: still win some games. They got four wins on the season.
- 13:11Speaker 5: They lost to the Lions. It was a good game.
- 13:14Speaker 5: But the thing is, you can't run it, and then
- 13:16Speaker 5: you can't stop the run either. So teams are dictating
- 13:21Speaker 5: the pace of these games. They're the bully, and you're
- 13:25Speaker 5: just sitting there and getting beat up in the corner
- 13:27Speaker 5: right now. And you're not counterpunching anything they do. You're
- 13:30Speaker 5: just taking it and accepting the fact that you're just
- 13:32Speaker 5: not going to be able to fight back. 17 carries
- 13:37Speaker 5: for 18 yards. And then you go to the other side,
- 13:40Speaker 5: and they had 30 carries for 148 yards. Jalen Warren
- 13:45Speaker 5: had 18 carries for 101 yards in this game. Rico
- 13:49Speaker 5: Dowdle had nine carries for 41 yards in this game.
- 13:53Speaker 5: Aaron Rodgers had a longer rush than anybody on your team.
- 13:58Speaker 5: Aaron Rodgers had an eight-yard run in this game.
- 14:01Speaker 2: He's your lead rusher? He would have been your lead rusher.
- 14:03Speaker 5: He would have been your leading rusher. You're not going
- 14:09Speaker 5: to win.
- 14:10Speaker 3: You're not going to be competitive when those are facts.
- 14:14Speaker 3: It's just not good. And, again, there's things that we
- 14:17Speaker 3: could go to.
- 14:17Speaker 2: You could triple the yardage on those attempts, and it's
- 14:19Speaker 2: still not good.
- 14:20Speaker 5: And it doesn't matter. There's things that we could go to.
- 14:22Speaker 5: I thought Carl Granderson played awesome. I thought Charles or
- 14:26Speaker 5: Chase Young played awesome.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Yeah, he did. Right?
- 14:28Speaker 5: I thought there was real moments in this game where
- 14:33Speaker 5: you had guys on that side of the football that
- 14:35Speaker 5: were really straining.
- 14:37Speaker 3: Even Kool-Aid broke up a couple of passes. I was like,
- 14:39Speaker 3: all right.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Yeah. Sinker was all over the place. He tried to
- 14:44Speaker 5: play physical. I thought Pete Warner had a couple of
- 14:46Speaker 5: nice plays. Like, there's effort on that side of the
- 14:50Speaker 5: football that I just don't see on the offensive side
- 14:53Speaker 5: of the football. Like, you held the Steelers to 16 points.
- 14:57Speaker 5: If that's not good enough in an NFL game, that's
- 15:01Speaker 5: on you. The defense did enough to win that game yesterday,
- 15:06Speaker 5: on their portion of it, on their one-third of it.
- 15:09Speaker 3: They did enough.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 15:12Speaker 5: Again, go back and watch the tape. Granderson and Young
- 15:15Speaker 5: are fighting their butts off. I love watching Chase Young
- 15:18Speaker 5: play football. One of my favorite guys to watch because
- 15:21Speaker 5: he is training every play to get to the quarterback.
- 15:25Speaker 2: You walk up to the line of scrimmage, and he
- 15:26Speaker 2: looks scary.
- 15:27Speaker 3: He does.
- 15:28Speaker 2: He's one of those guys like you look the part,
- 15:30Speaker 2: and you play the part because you're giving high effort,
- 15:32Speaker 2: and you're super talented. You know what, though?
- 15:36Speaker 6: Laundry.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Guess what?
- 15:38Speaker 6: What?
- 15:39Speaker 2: A lot of football left.
- 15:40Speaker 6: Oh.
- 15:41Speaker 2: A lot of football left.
- 15:43Speaker 7: So much football left that I'm not looking forward to watching.
- 15:46Speaker 2: So much bad football to be played.
- 15:50Speaker 7: Gail, this is where you follow up on all those
- 15:52Speaker 7: public threats that you made, though. This is where you
- 15:56Speaker 7: should have just left them all in Paris with the rioters.
- 16:02Speaker 7: Let them fight in the front lines. This is where
- 16:06Speaker 7: you do what you were saying that you were going
- 16:07Speaker 7: to do. Or else it just Why? Why did you
- 16:10Speaker 7: say all that?
- 16:11Speaker 2: Let a couple of them catch a coach flight back?
- 16:13Speaker 5: Yeah. Yeah.
- 16:15Speaker 7: What are we doing on the private plane?
- 16:18Speaker 8: Jake, we talked about this a little bit on Thursday.
- 16:21Speaker 8: Pittsburgh was 14th in the league in rushing yards per game.
- 16:25Speaker 8: They were an average rushing defense coming into that game. Now,
- 16:28Speaker 8: they're probably thanking the Saints because guess what, guys? Today
- 16:31Speaker 8: they're seventh. So they doubled their position because of that,
- 16:34Speaker 8: but you didn't even go against a good running defense.
- 16:37Speaker 8: You went against an average NFL defense. 18 yards.
- 16:45Speaker 3: All right.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I don't know, Taylor. I only gave up 18 yards.
- 16:48Speaker 2: That might be the best rush defense of all time.
- 16:51Speaker 2: It probably is. Might be the best rushing performance of
- 16:54Speaker 2: all time. When you don't take sack yardage away, it's
- 16:59Speaker 2: an astonishing number.
- 17:00Speaker 3: It's hard to fathom.
- 17:02Speaker 6: It is.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Was it 2023 LSU defense?
- 17:03Speaker 2: Was that the bad one, the historically bad one? That's
- 17:09Speaker 2: a historically bad rushing offense.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Like, you'd have to– it's so bad, I'd like to
- 17:15Speaker 2: go to the numbers, like historically in the NFL, to
- 17:18Speaker 2: see a worse rushing performance. I said worse. It's worse.
- 17:24Speaker 2: It's a worse– I don't know if there is one. Like,
- 17:28Speaker 2: that many rush attempts with that little production and that little,
- 17:33Speaker 2: like– what was it, six yards was the longest rush? Yeah.
- 17:37Speaker 2: I don't know historically– if there's ever going to be
- 17:40Speaker 2: a game worse in the history of the NFL.
- 17:44Speaker 3: All right.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Oh, God. That sounds like a job for Claude.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Yeah, it does. I was about to say, get on
- 17:49Speaker 3: that one. All right. Well, you know, that's the Saints report.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Pretty good.
- 17:53Speaker 3: From Paris, 17 rushes for 18 yards.
- 17:57Speaker 5: All right.
- 17:57Speaker 3: We will take a break. More OTB when we come
- 17:59Speaker 3: back here live from the Raising Cane Studio.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Off the bench.
- 18:03Speaker 3: All right, go to bathfitter.com, Bath Fitter of Baton Rouge.

- 19:32Speaker 4: Tell me, tell.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Me, tell me. Off the Bench with Hester and Flynn,
- 19:44Speaker 1: presented by Bayou Automotive.
- 19:47Speaker 6: Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.
- 19:54Speaker 7: Tell me lies, tell me, tell me lies.
- 20:00Speaker 6: Oh no, no, you can't disguise. You can't disguise. Tell
- 20:08Speaker 6: me lies, tell me sweet little lies.
- 20:17Speaker 3: All right, welcome back in OTB.
- 20:25Speaker 5: Here live from the Raising Cane Studio. Trying to find
- 20:30Speaker 5: the lowest rushing total.
- 20:33Speaker 2: We found it from the 40s.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Well, no, I mean, that one's crazy.
- 20:37Speaker 5: It's like minus 53 yards for the Detroit Lions in,
- 20:41Speaker 5: was it 1943?
- 20:41Speaker 3: Yeah. We're not going back that far.
- 20:44Speaker 2: We'll say yesterday was the fewest amount of rushing yards
- 20:48Speaker 2: for the New Orleans Saints since 1999. That's what I.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Was trying to go back to.
- 20:52Speaker 5: I was trying to go through the archives and see
- 20:55Speaker 5: if I could go back past 1999.
- 20:57Speaker 3: But, again, we really don't even have to.
- 20:59Speaker 5: The fact that that's the lowest since 1999, since Y2K,
- 21:02Speaker 5: kind of tells you just how bad it was.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Oh, wait. Here we go. Let's see. 2007, the Lions
- 21:11Speaker 2: at Arizona. Lions were not very good at this point.
- 21:14Speaker 2: I had negative 18 on eight carries. At some point, though,
- 21:21Speaker 2: when stat, like, at some point, the sacks stopped counting.
- 21:25Speaker 2: That wasn't too long ago, right? At some point, like,
- 21:28Speaker 2: the stat book does include sacks for team rushing totals
- 21:33Speaker 2: in the NFL. I don't know when that start and stop, though.
- 21:38Speaker 2: The point is.
- 21:41Speaker 3: The fact that we can go back to 1947.
- 21:43Speaker 5: We're talking about going back to, just for the Saints alone,
- 21:47Speaker 5: let's take out the Lions in 1943. We're going back
- 21:51Speaker 5: to 1999. You hired an offensive coach. You spent $ 53
- 21:58Speaker 5: million on a running back. You signed the top interior
- 22:01Speaker 5: offensive lineman. You have three first-round picks. You have a
- 22:04Speaker 5: second-round pick on your offensive line. You signed a tight
- 22:08Speaker 5: end in Noah Fane. You drafted Oscar Delp in the
- 22:10Speaker 5: third round. You can't run the football?
- 22:15Speaker 7: Crazy.
- 22:16Speaker 5: With, I mean, capable running backs. I mean, they're certainly
- 22:20Speaker 5: not even the best.
- 22:21Speaker 7: I mean, even Alvin Kamara still, like, I feel like
- 22:23Speaker 7: the flashes that we've seen of him this season, he's
- 22:26Speaker 7: still got it.
- 22:27Speaker 3: He's got something.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I mean, he's trying to.
- 22:29Speaker 8: He's got a little something in the tank. When they
- 22:30Speaker 8: throw it to him, and he's in open space. He
- 22:32Speaker 8: did that yesterday.
- 22:33Speaker 2: What did he have? 60 yards receiving almost?
- 22:35Speaker 3: Right at it, yeah.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Here's, it's like. You've seen them, like, it looks like
- 22:43Speaker 2: the product you put on the field, you've missed in
- 22:46Speaker 2: everything you've tried to do.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 22:47Speaker 2: You've literally missed. And the things that you have hit
- 22:50Speaker 2: on are so covered in trash, you can't even see them.
- 22:55Speaker 2: They are buried in a pile of garbage that you
- 22:59Speaker 2: can't even see them. So the things that you have
- 23:01Speaker 2: hit on are nice, are really good pieces, but it
- 23:06Speaker 2: doesn't matter because you've surrounded them. With everything else that
- 23:10Speaker 2: you've missed on so many things for years and years.
- 23:15Speaker 2: And it's all piled up into this heaping pile. I mean,
- 23:22Speaker 2: thank God you're in just an awful division. And if
- 23:26Speaker 2: Kellen wants to hang his hat on.
- 23:27Speaker 7: You're like two games behind.
- 23:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you're not that far out of it. You're not
- 23:32Speaker 2: that far out of it.
- 23:33Speaker 7: You're really not.
- 23:34Speaker 8: If Kellen was staying his hat on A-Chan being out,
- 23:37Speaker 8: I understand it would be a drastic improvement of what
- 23:39Speaker 8: we saw Sunday. Travis A-Chan's best game before he left,
- 23:42Speaker 8: 13 carries for 57 yards.
- 23:45Speaker 2: You're not a good running team with him.
- 23:46Speaker 8: No, you're not historically bad like we saw yesterday, but,
- 23:49Speaker 8: I mean, that doesn't really move the needle that much
- 23:52Speaker 8: for me.
- 23:54Speaker 7: We got a listener.
- 23:56Speaker 3: A voice message.
- 23:57Speaker 7: It's not a text. It's a voice message.
- 23:59Speaker 3: You listen to it?
- 24:00Speaker 7: I listen to it. I think it's like, I guess
- 24:02Speaker 7: you said, can it get worse or something like that?
- 24:04Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 24:06Speaker 7: Something along those lines. Okay, this is from Derek.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Tell Matt, don't doubt the Saints. At the rate we're going,
- 24:15Speaker 3: it could get worse.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Don't doubt it.
- 24:18Speaker 3: We're breaking records, baby. Shout out to Derek.
- 24:22Speaker 2: It can get worse. It can get worse. Don't doubt
- 24:28Speaker 2: the Saints, baby.
- 24:30Speaker 7: People don't have their brown paper bags on yet, Matt.
- 24:34Speaker 7: It can get worse.
- 24:34Speaker 3: You know what?
- 24:35Speaker 2: That's a great call.
- 24:36Speaker 3: That was a fantastic call.
- 24:37Speaker 5: So we'll say, and I'm not picking on you, Matt.
- 24:39Speaker 5: You grew up in Tyler, Texas, and you grew up
- 24:42Speaker 5: watching the Cowboys. Alondra and Taylor aren't quite old enough
- 24:46Speaker 5: to remember the Aints.
- 24:47Speaker 6: No.
- 24:47Speaker 5: Not quite old enough to remember that. That time period.
- 24:50Speaker 5: I remember it, and I remember it well. I remember
- 24:54Speaker 5: just hoping and wishing and praying that they could have
- 24:56Speaker 5: a winning record one day and what that would really mean.
- 24:59Speaker 3: It was bad. It was bad.
- 25:01Speaker 5: Like when Steve Walsh and Mike Buck and all these
- 25:03Speaker 5: guys were the quarterback, and it's just historically bad. Since
- 25:08Speaker 5: Drew Brees retired, anybody want to guess their record?
- 25:13Speaker 3: I don't even want to guess.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Let's see. His last year was 20, right?
- 25:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I'll say.
- 25:22Speaker 8: Since he retired? I'll give you a winning percentage. I
- 25:24Speaker 8: ain't adding up all those games. I'll say they have
- 25:28Speaker 8: won 38% of their games.
- 25:29Speaker 2: No shot. No, you're close.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Really?
- 25:30Speaker 2: You're close. Worse or better?
- 25:32Speaker 3: 41%.
- 25:32Speaker 6: Okay.
- 25:32Speaker 3: Since Drew Brees retired, they are 38-54. Guys, the fact
- 25:33Speaker 3: that we're like, oh, it's not as bad. It's still horrible.
- 25:35Speaker 3: It's awful. It's bad.
- 25:36Speaker 5: 38-54 since Drew Brees retired. And I only bring that
- 25:49Speaker 5: up because you're like, well, Drew Brees is a Hall
- 25:51Speaker 5: of Famer.
- 25:51Speaker 3: No doubt. One of the best to ever do it.
- 25:54Speaker 3: We all know that.
- 25:55Speaker 5: But the fact is, you had a window. You had
- 25:58Speaker 5: a run with Sean Payton and Drew Brees, and it
- 26:00Speaker 5: was great.
- 26:01Speaker 3: It was fun. Every single year, you were at least
- 26:03Speaker 3: a part of the conversation.
- 26:06Speaker 5: But I bring it up only to say, this is
- 26:09Speaker 5: now the sixth season since you haven't had him.
- 26:12Speaker 3: How much longer do you get to rest on that? Yeah.
- 26:15Speaker 3: How much longer do you.
- 26:16Speaker 5: Get to use that as your bargaining chip to say
- 26:19Speaker 5: it's going in the right direction, how much longer can
- 26:21Speaker 5: that be on your resume and still you get kind
- 26:26Speaker 5: of judged off that run that you had and not
- 26:29Speaker 5: what you've done in six seasons?
- 26:31Speaker 3: We're not talking about three. We're not talking about even four.
- 26:34Speaker 3: Six seasons. You've been 9-8, 7-10, 9-8, 5-12, 6-11, 2-5.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Your best years have been 9-8.
- 26:44Speaker 2: And one of those with Peyton, 2021, you had a
- 26:47Speaker 2: winning record. That's what I checked. Peyton, he'd coach for
- 26:49Speaker 2: another team right now.
- 26:50Speaker 3: And zero playoff appearances, obviously, during that show.
- 26:54Speaker 2: One of the stats that has shocked me, that shook
- 26:56Speaker 2: me to the core, was two weeks ago, y'all told me,
- 26:59Speaker 2: the Saints franchise has one playoff victory without Sean Peyton
- 27:03Speaker 2: as a head coach.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Yes. And it started in the 60s. That was against
- 27:06Speaker 3: the Rams in the early 2000s.
- 27:07Speaker 2: That's been about nearly 60 years, I think. Which is
- 27:12Speaker 2: an absolutely stunning, stunning stat. So 38 victories since Sean Payton.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Just think.
- 27:22Speaker 7: That's so sad.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Just think about it. If we would have had 38 yards.
- 27:27Speaker 5: Actually, you're giving too much credit. You've had 29 victories
- 27:30Speaker 5: since Sean Payton.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Yeah, because he was there in 21.
- 27:32Speaker 3: He was a 9 and 8 in 21.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Oh, true.
- 27:35Speaker 2: So that was one of your two winning seasons since Breeze.
- 27:37Speaker 2: Payton was still there. I think what I was going
- 27:40Speaker 2: to say might stand true. If you even had 29
- 27:43Speaker 2: yards rushing yesterday, you might win that game.
- 27:46Speaker 3: Yes.
- 27:48Speaker 5: Because your defense is doing good things. Chuck did enough
- 27:51Speaker 5: in the passing game.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Just think about it. Let's just say you had a
- 27:54Speaker 2: bad rushing day, and you had 40 to 50 yards
- 27:58Speaker 2: rushing as a team. You'd probably win that game.
- 28:00Speaker 3: You do win.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Absolutely.
- 28:02Speaker 8: Can you get in the field goal range two more times?
- 28:04Speaker 2: Which, I mean, the way Daniel Carlson's playing. Yeah, that's
- 28:07Speaker 2: a good point.
- 28:08Speaker 7: You should have taken his ass where they, like, Used
- 28:11Speaker 7: to behead the rich people.
- 28:12Speaker 8: I think they're just going to chalk their special teams
- 28:15Speaker 8: up as a loss this year.
- 28:16Speaker 7: Well, okay, so Kellen Moore. Every time anything from a
- 28:23Speaker 7: press conference comes out about him, it just pisses me off.
- 28:27Speaker 7: Because they asked him about the special teams, and he
- 28:29Speaker 7: was like, we're going to evaluate that for sure. Okay,
- 28:33Speaker 7: do you have anything else to say about it? And then,
- 28:36Speaker 7: so Kat Terrell, she posted something saying like– Juwan Johnson's
- 28:41Speaker 7: pretty much, which we talked about it before the game,
- 28:43Speaker 7: Juwan Johnson's like disappeared. I think it's because he's helping
- 28:47Speaker 7: block maybe. And then people were commenting on her thing
- 28:50Speaker 7: being like, oh, it's crazy. It's almost like you're a
- 28:52Speaker 7: reporter and you can ask him about it. It's like, okay,
- 28:54Speaker 7: you're going to ask him about it. And all he's
- 28:56Speaker 7: going to say is, yeah, we got to get better.
- 28:58Speaker 7: We're definitely going to evaluate that.
- 29:00Speaker 2: We got to get better. That's it.
- 29:01Speaker 6: Okay.
- 29:02Speaker 7: So like they're asking the questions and you get zero answers,
- 29:06Speaker 7: like talking to a wall when you're trying to talk
- 29:07Speaker 7: to Kellen Moore. He does it in a way nicer
- 29:10Speaker 7: way than a lot of other coaches do it, but
- 29:12Speaker 7: you're not getting anything out of him.
- 29:14Speaker 8: You're on your third kicker. Between preseason and regular season,
- 29:19Speaker 8: you're on your third kicker.
- 29:20Speaker 2: You've got to get better at kicking. You've got to
- 29:23Speaker 2: get better.
- 29:23Speaker 7: You've just got to get better.
- 29:24Speaker 2: You should have told name a little bit left. You
- 29:29Speaker 2: know what? You're right. They should have thought of that.
- 29:30Speaker 2: I don't know why they didn't tell name left. It
- 29:32Speaker 2: would be funny if Kellen was like, hey, game of inches.
- 29:35Speaker 2: Game of inches, you know? Make some, use some.
- 29:38Speaker 7: They asked him about getting started faster. Maybe the time
- 29:41Speaker 7: change will help.
- 29:42Speaker 3: It didn't.
- 29:42Speaker 7: It didn't help, Kellen.
- 29:44Speaker 3: It didn't.
- 29:44Speaker 7: Your stupid smart-ass response.
- 29:48Speaker 3: All right. Well, on those notes.
- 29:51Speaker 2: All right. That was a great call. Thanks for the
- 29:54Speaker 2: call in, by the way. Don't doubt the Saints.
- 29:59Speaker 3: We can get worse.
- 30:00Speaker 2: We can get worse.
- 30:01Speaker 3: They can do that. All right.
- 30:02Speaker 5: When we come back weekend winners here on and losers,
- 30:06Speaker 5: I got some losers as well. When we come back
- 30:08Speaker 5: here on OTB off the bench, I go to trash rangers.com

- 30:26Speaker 5: am i going to know that you give them a
- 30:27Speaker 5: call hey here's what i'm thinking here's how many rooms
- 30:29Speaker 5: i'm renovating or a home or a business whatever it
- 30:31Speaker 5: might be and look they've been in the game for
- 30:33Speaker 5: a long time they're going to know exactly what you
- 30:35Speaker 5: need but if you even undersell it that's okay they'll

- 31:06Speaker 2: It was the worst. It stinks. So never do that
- 31:08Speaker 2: again with Trash Rangers. Also, commercial roll-up dumpsters. They got everything. TrashRangers.com.

- 31:25Speaker 4: I've been holding it so long.
- 31:31Speaker 7: I've been sleeping all along. Lord, I miss you.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I've been hanging.
- 31:38Speaker 6: On the phone.
- 31:39Speaker 4: I've been sleeping all along.
- 31:46Speaker 6: Welcome back again. OTV.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Monday shows brought to you by Bayou Automotive. BayouAutomotive.com. Vroom, vroom.
- 32:18Speaker 3: Let's get into a little weekend winners.
- 32:23Speaker 7: That's how winning is done.
- 32:25Speaker 4: That's right.
- 32:26Speaker 3: We can't have anyone freak out out there, okay?
- 32:28Speaker 2: We've got to keep our composure. We've come too far.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I'm by winning. I win here and I win there.
- 32:35Speaker 5: Now what? Are you doing what it takes to win
- 32:39Speaker 5: a championship?
- 32:40Speaker 3: Wow, winning.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Well, then I guess there's only one thing left to do.
- 32:46Speaker 2: What's that? Win the whole * * * * thing.
- 32:55Speaker 5: All right, first weekend winner is going to be, well,
- 32:57Speaker 5: college football because we had another weekend where it was
- 33:01Speaker 5: a little bit of everything. We had incredible upsets, and
- 33:05Speaker 5: we had teams that were double-digit dogs that won outright.
- 33:08Speaker 3: We had Minnesota take down Iowa 13-14.
- 33:12Speaker 5: To 10 i was the number 15 ranked team in
- 33:14Speaker 5: the country wisconsin beats up on usc 24 to 7
- 33:20Speaker 5: usc 16th in the country south carolina takes down number
- 33:24Speaker 5: 11 tennessee 27 to 24 we had cincinnati take down
- 33:29Speaker 5: number eight texas tech 37 to 24 number 19 texas
- 33:34Speaker 5: takes down number seven old miss 34 to 27 Unranked
- 33:38Speaker 5: UCF takes down number two BYU in double.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Overtime, 39-31.
- 33:43Speaker 5: We had a little bit of everything on the slate
- 33:47Speaker 5: in week number eight of the college football season. And
- 33:50Speaker 5: so far, certainly over like the last, I don't know,
- 33:53Speaker 5: three weeks maybe, it is being chaotic. It is maybe
- 33:56Speaker 5: even like 2007 chaotic. Maybe not quite that much, but
- 34:01Speaker 5: it feels like it's as close as we've been. It's
- 34:03Speaker 5: been a really good three weeks as far as You
- 34:06Speaker 5: don't really know what's going to happen every single weekend.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Yeah, no.
- 34:11Speaker 2: I said it last week. I thought college football really
- 34:14Speaker 2: needed last weekend. Just from, I think from like, we're
- 34:22Speaker 2: so sheltered here in Louisiana and the southeast, like college
- 34:25Speaker 2: football's life. Like that is it. But it's not that
- 34:27Speaker 2: way in the entirety of the country. And I think
- 34:29Speaker 2: that it just kind of needed a boost last week.
- 34:32Speaker 2: And it certainly got it. My God, did he get it,
- 34:35Speaker 2: and it just continued this weekend. So, yeah, big winner.
- 34:38Speaker 2: Nice work. All right, my first winner today. The artist
- 34:46Speaker 2: formerly known as Nine. J.J. McCarthy. He must be a
- 34:52Speaker 2: leader for the Giants because he wears number 18.
- 34:54Speaker 3: That's right, baby. That's the reason he's playing well.
- 34:57Speaker 2: He stepped in, and the New York football Giants come
- 35:02Speaker 2: away with a win versus a very salty, frisky little
- 35:05Speaker 2: Houston Texans team. They went 27-21, and he did. He
- 35:09Speaker 2: played well. 20 of 28, 252 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions.
- 35:18Speaker 2: But made some really, really nice throws. Played really confidently
- 35:21Speaker 2: to be able to come into a new offense, learn
- 35:23Speaker 2: a new offense within a couple of weeks, to kind
- 35:26Speaker 2: of have your dreams shattered and traded from the team
- 35:29Speaker 2: that took you in the first round and had discarded you.
- 35:32Speaker 2: To be able to do that, and we make fun
- 35:34Speaker 2: of nine a lot, and rightfully so, it's kind of fun.
- 35:38Speaker 2: To go in there and play confidently, make some real,
- 35:40Speaker 2: like he was dropping some thorns yesterday.
- 35:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 35:45Speaker 2: And I know, like, from a touchdown perspective, he didn't
- 35:48Speaker 2: get a lot of love yesterday. But they're a good
- 35:52Speaker 2: football team. Like, they've steadied the ship a little bit. Like,
- 35:58Speaker 2: if he plays like that, they'll win the division.
- 36:00Speaker 8: They're going to run away with that division if he
- 36:01Speaker 8: plays like that.
- 36:02Speaker 3: You're right.
- 36:02Speaker 2: If he plays like that, they'll run away with it.
- 36:04Speaker 2: I saw this stat, and I couldn't prove it because
- 36:06Speaker 2: I was trying to find it real quick at the break.
- 36:09Speaker 2: This was on the Van Pelt Show yesterday after Sunday
- 36:12Speaker 2: Night Football. McCarthy, fifth straight win as a starting quarterback.
- 36:18Speaker 2: So he won his last four games. Yeah, they said
- 36:20Speaker 2: it on the broadcast. Interesting. Fifth straight win as a
- 36:23Speaker 2: starting quarterback. So definitely discarded. And I get it. He
- 36:26Speaker 2: didn't do anything outstanding with his original team, but he
- 36:33Speaker 2: made some outstanding throws last night. So big winner. A
- 36:35Speaker 2: guy that goes from a butt of a lot of
- 36:37Speaker 2: jokes to a guy that just won a big-time game
- 36:41Speaker 2: against a very good defense. And Malik Nabors, another big
- 36:45Speaker 2: winner from J.J.
- 36:46Speaker 3: McCarthy being there.
- 36:50Speaker 1: All right.
- 36:51Speaker 7: I have a weekend. Real quick, I just want to say, like,
- 36:54Speaker 7: it makes me really happy that Texas beat Ole Miss
- 36:56Speaker 7: this weekend. I mean, Texas is ass, but, like, I
- 37:01Speaker 7: just need Ole Miss to be just as much ass
- 37:03Speaker 7: as Texas is. But my weekend winner... The Minnesota Vikings,
- 37:09Speaker 7: with their win over the Kansas City Chiefs last night,
- 37:12Speaker 7: they are the only unbeaten team left in the NFL,
- 37:15Speaker 7: which is really funny considering, again, like Kyler Murray, also
- 37:20Speaker 7: the butt of a lot of jokes. And nine was
- 37:23Speaker 7: there before Kyler Murray was. So just weekend winner to
- 37:28Speaker 7: the Vikings. Only unbeaten team left in the NFL.
- 37:32Speaker 2: I saw a cool stat about the Vikings last night.
- 37:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Five-game win streak with five or fewer touchdowns. Oh. The
- 37:41Speaker 2: first team since 1926, the Kansas City Cowboys, had a
- 37:45Speaker 2: five-game win streak with five or less touchdowns.
- 37:48Speaker 8: Ah, yes.
- 37:49Speaker 2: The mighty Kansas City Cowboys. We all remember them. Good team.
- 37:51Speaker 2: Good team.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Great team.
- 37:54Speaker 2: Should be a big fan.
- 37:57Speaker 8: Weekend winner for me, first one, goes to Matthew Stafford
- 38:00Speaker 8: after their... We're going to call it a dominant win.
- 38:03Speaker 8: The Raiders scored 15 points in that fourth quarter.
- 38:06Speaker 2: I don't care. The Rams were in control of that
- 38:08Speaker 2: the whole game.
- 38:09Speaker 8: With that win, Matthew Stafford is now the all-time leader
- 38:13Speaker 8: in passing touchdowns for two different franchises, the Detroit Lions
- 38:17Speaker 8: and now.
- 38:18Speaker 2: The LA Rams.
- 38:19Speaker 8: 282 touchdown passes with the Lions, 155 and counting now
- 38:25Speaker 8: with the Rams. He is the first player in NFL
- 38:27Speaker 8: history to hold passing touchdown records for two different franchises.
- 38:30Speaker 2: So weekend winner, Our guy, Matthew Stafford.
- 38:35Speaker 3: All right, weekend loser.
- 38:38Speaker 5: The NFL for flagging Cam Scadaboo for an unnecessary roughness
- 38:45Speaker 5: because he ran over a defender.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Well, you can't lower the crown of your head. Miss
- 38:49Speaker 3: me with that. I don't, what? Can't use it as
- 38:51Speaker 3: a weapon.
- 38:52Speaker 5: Really?
- 38:52Speaker 1: Really?
- 38:53Speaker 5: I've got 11 grown-ass men with bad intentions coming to
- 38:56Speaker 5: get me on their ground however they can. I'm going
- 38:59Speaker 5: to do whatever I can to not let that happen.
- 39:02Speaker 5: He got flagged 15 yards for dump trucking a guy.
- 39:06Speaker 5: What are we doing? If you want to make it
- 39:09Speaker 5: flag football, that's fine. Just let us know. Because if
- 39:12Speaker 5: we're playing real football, this should never be a flag.
- 39:15Speaker 3: Are you kidding me? An offensive guy just trucking somebody?
- 39:19Speaker 2: There's worse runs in the NFL than that.
- 39:21Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, you could do it every time. Look,
- 39:24Speaker 3: that's our weapon.
- 39:25Speaker 5: That's what we have. That is our defense against... the
- 39:30Speaker 5: defender because we got to have the football we got
- 39:33Speaker 5: to have it high and tight so we have one
- 39:34Speaker 5: arm free yeah we're gonna do that get out of
- 39:36Speaker 5: the way it's a grown man sport all of those
- 39:40Speaker 5: guys are trying to do whatever they can that guy
- 39:43Speaker 5: could take Cam.
- 39:44Speaker 3: Scataboo's knees out, and that's legal.
- 39:46Speaker 5: All right, well, I'm not letting you take my knees
- 39:47Speaker 5: out because I'm just going to dump truck you in
- 39:49Speaker 5: the hole. The fact that this is a flag, and look,
- 39:52Speaker 5: I put it out there on social media, and like
- 39:55Speaker 5: 98% of the people agree, like, what are we doing?
- 39:57Speaker 3: And the 2%, you're a nerd.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:59Speaker 3: Touch grass. All right, it's football.
- 40:02Speaker 2: They can't. They're allergic.
- 40:02Speaker 5: Okay, it's violent by nature. Oh, you can't lower the
- 40:07Speaker 5: crown of your head. My ass you can't. I've got
- 40:10Speaker 5: 11 people that are big, strong, and fast that want
- 40:13Speaker 5: to tackle me however they can. I'm going to do this, okay,
- 40:17Speaker 5: because it's a weapon for me. And I know what
- 40:23Speaker 5: it does to you, but I do it all again
- 40:25Speaker 5: because this is how you run the football, a 15-yard penalty.
- 40:30Speaker 3: If he gets fined for this, I swear to God.
- 40:32Speaker 2: What are you going to do?
- 40:34Speaker 1: Be mad?
- 40:37Speaker 2: If you don't, if you do.
- 40:39Speaker 3: Well, hold up.
- 40:40Speaker 5: You say that, but when you got fined $ 15, 000 for
- 40:43Speaker 5: doing the juice thing, there was an uproar that got
- 40:46Speaker 5: all taken away. So maybe the voice is heard, Matthew.
- 40:49Speaker 2: Maybe. Yeah, if you think that's a, if you do
- 40:53Speaker 2: think that's a penalty, if you're one of the 2%
- 40:54Speaker 2: that disagree with Jake on that take, you're definitely a
- 40:58Speaker 2: person that double fists their nose when you jump into
- 41:00Speaker 2: a pool. Not even one hand. Double fist by nose
- 41:06Speaker 2: when I do a cannonball into this shallow end. Because
- 41:10Speaker 2: you're definitely not jumping the deep end.
- 41:11Speaker 7: Double fist is crazy. Like, you really got to just
- 41:14Speaker 7: be safe about it.
- 41:15Speaker 2: You got to be like, you got to make sure
- 41:17Speaker 2: that hand is tight enough. Weekend loser. I think they've
- 41:25Speaker 2: made an appearance probably four or five times already. NFL refs. Awesome.
- 41:30Speaker 2: NFL refs. This is the piggyback on that. I mean,
- 41:32Speaker 2: I just saw that Kim Scadaboo one for the first time.
- 41:33Speaker 2: That's the weakest. ds ever uh roughing the passer penalties
- 41:38Speaker 2: are just killing the game and then the idiot in
- 41:42Speaker 2: the packers lions game where they didn't blow the whistle
- 41:46Speaker 2: so the packers keep trying to tackle amon ross st
- 41:49Speaker 2: brown down to the ground and they sling him to
- 41:51Speaker 2: the ground and he kicks him a referee that's running
- 41:54Speaker 2: in there in the stomach the referee gets all butthurt
- 41:57Speaker 2: and mad like look like this is actually a winner
- 42:00Speaker 2: for all of us for the meme Laying on the ground.
- 42:03Speaker 2: He's on his back and he throws a flag from
- 42:06Speaker 2: the ground in anger straight up in the air. Out
- 42:09Speaker 2: of a movie, you could even script a funnier way
- 42:12Speaker 2: to throw a flag. A more douchey way to throw
- 42:16Speaker 2: a flag. It's so brutal. He throws a flag because
- 42:20Speaker 2: he didn't even know he's throwing it on him.
- 42:22Speaker 3: No, he's just throwing it.
- 42:22Speaker 5: He's just mad.
- 42:23Speaker 7: Just throwing it.
- 42:24Speaker 2: So watch this. They slam to the ground because they
- 42:25Speaker 2: didn't hear a whistle. Okay, fine. He gets kicked right
- 42:29Speaker 2: in the gut and he falls down like he's dead.
- 42:32Speaker 2: He got shot.
- 42:33Speaker 7: He barely got touched, I feel like.
- 42:39Speaker 2: He like angrily throws it. What an absolute dork. Now
- 42:44Speaker 2: that guy definitely. He's on the front lines.
- 42:48Speaker 7: That barely touched him.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Did he angrily throw it? He's an extra in a
- 42:54Speaker 2: war movie. Yeah, throw in the grenade. Give it it all.
- 43:01Speaker 2: It's a bad look. I don't know if he got
- 43:03Speaker 2: even touched. Even Brady was, like, yelling at the refs
- 43:07Speaker 2: yesterday during the game.
- 43:09Speaker 7: Weekend loser Greg McIlroy. Standing weekend loser for me.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Shots fired.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Turn your TV down and your radio up.
- 43:21Speaker 8: Hey, Jake, if this play would have been outlawed, do
- 43:24Speaker 8: you guys beat Florida in 2007?
- 43:28Speaker 2: All I thought of when Kim Scadaboo got... Do you
- 43:32Speaker 2: guys beat Florida if that plays outlawed and that's a
- 43:35Speaker 2: 15-yard penalty?
- 43:36Speaker 5: No.
- 43:36Speaker 2: That cracks me up. You would have been straight to prison. Yeah,
- 43:40Speaker 2: he goes to jail.
- 43:42Speaker 3: I mean, it was the.
- 43:44Speaker 7: Jake really don't care.
- 43:45Speaker 5: It was the best weapon that I had. Yeah, I
- 43:47Speaker 5: was going to do that every single time.
- 43:49Speaker 3: Look at him. He don't care. I mean... Throw the flag.
- 43:53Speaker 3: Throw the flag.
- 43:55Speaker 7: I can't be mad at Jake when he forgets stuff.
- 43:57Speaker 7: I really can't.
- 43:58Speaker 3: All right, we got to take a break.
- 43:59Speaker 2: Oops.
- 44:00Speaker 6: Oh.
- 44:00Speaker 2: We're going to have a short one on the other end.
- 44:05Speaker 1: Off the bench.
