Latest / The Slippery Slope / Are We in WW3?

- 0:10Hi, Jake Fallon. Thank you for listening to The
- 0:13Slippery Slope. So I did do another episode.
- 0:16I haven't, if you're watching this on YouTube.
- 0:18I didn't release the other episode on YouTube, quite
- 0:22frankly, because I'm tired of arguing with YouTube about what
- 0:25I can and can't do, what I can and can't put up.
- 0:29And obviously, so this one was about a little about the about
- 0:34the rainbow, rainbow peeps. And so there I didn't put it on
- 0:40YouTube so I don't think YouTube will care.
- 0:46Hey, so I really want to ask this question.
- 0:50Tell me what you think are we has World War Three started?
- 0:56Are we in the midst of World War 3?
- 0:59And if it hasn't started, were you expecting where I think I
- 1:04was expecting? Are we expecting to hear like a
- 1:08grand announcement from someone from, you know, Biden or whoever
- 1:13the. Oh yeah, I don't know.
- 1:17Would it be Biden, some world leader stand up and say, hey,
- 1:21World War Three just began this day, this time, whatever.
- 1:27Is that? Is that what is going to happen
- 1:30or is it what I actually think? We're actually already in World
- 1:34War 3. You know, I just, I've been
- 1:38thinking and look, this is more of a question than I.
- 1:42It's just as much of a question as me telling you my opinion.
- 1:46I I think we're already in World War Three.
- 1:49I think it's already began. Possibly, possibly somewhere,
- 1:55somewhere around the time, you know, in within this time frame
- 1:59where Ukraine and Russia started having their little fight
- 2:03somewhere. I think along those lines, it
- 2:07might have started around then, but everyone's just kind of
- 2:11slowly, slowly creep crept in. We have obviously the US,
- 2:18Britain, England, we have all these different countries
- 2:21supplying weapons to Ukraine. You know, we have the British
- 2:27helping to train. We have Australia, we're we're
- 2:32sending, we've sent stuff over there as well to the Ukraine,
- 2:37you know, the Bushmasters and who knows, who knows what else
- 2:40we've sent over there. Obviously, yeah, the the United
- 2:44States has big time just supplying them weapons and all
- 2:47this kind of thing. And then you have some other
- 2:50things going on and it just got me thinking, well, are we just
- 2:53in the middle or are we in the midst of World War Three?
- 2:57And now that all this commotion, not to downplay it, but all this
- 3:03drama within Israel, Gaza, and all this kind of thing, and now
- 3:08that's kicked off and it's well and truly kicked off.
- 3:11Heck, is it just cemented? Well, it's it's really cemented
- 3:17my my opinion that we are in the midst of World War 3.
- 3:21I'll tell you what, I'm just going to go through a few
- 3:23different headlights, headlights, headlights,
- 3:27headlines. But I really, really want to
- 3:32know what you think I love. I do read the comments.
- 3:37There are a couple of people have emailed me different
- 3:39things. I have.
- 3:40There's one. I just read one long ago when I
- 3:44said not long ago, literally like 10 minutes ago, and I will
- 3:47get back to you. I think it was a Mick, I can't
- 3:50remember the name now. Anyhow, talking about some stuff
- 3:52in North Queensland, far North Queensland, so I'll need to know
- 3:56some more information. So this headline here, Putin
- 4:02visits Beijing to emphasize Russia China friendship amid
- 4:05wars in Ukraine and Gaza. So this obviously just happened
- 4:08very recently. Vladimir Putin arrived in
- 4:13Beijing on Tuesday for a visit that underscores China's support
- 4:17for Moscow during its war in Ukraine, as well as Russia
- 4:21backing for China's bid to expand its economic and
- 4:26diplomatic influence abroad. I think it's very, very
- 4:30important when for China, you know from their point of view,
- 4:38it's very important for them especially now to keep pushing
- 4:42ahead with influence and keep trying to keep trying to expand
- 4:48its economic and its diplomatic influence as much as possible.
- 4:53Because China is in a world of hurt, you know, financially they
- 4:58are in a world of hurt. Things are really start starting
- 5:01to constrict, you know, but being a despot, being a dictator
- 5:07does not pay. It's not a good political move.
- 5:11Every every dictator, every despot, you know, the the
- 5:15country starts to implode it. It does.
- 5:19So the only thing for them to do is is keep trying to keep trying
- 5:24to expand its influence. That's what they're trying to
- 5:27do. So China's in a world of hurt.
- 5:30They need to do these things. They need to try and expand the
- 5:34influence. It goes on in this in this
- 5:36article and says the two countries have forged an
- 5:39informal alliance against the United States.
- 5:42That's this is the thing China wants to break EU s s not really
- 5:49stranglehold but it is I suppose the stranglehold over well,
- 5:53especially financially the influence that they have such a
- 5:57large influence. So it was to what is here forged
- 6:02an informal alliance against the United States and other
- 6:04democratic nations that is now complicated by the Israel Hamas
- 6:09war. And this is one thing that
- 6:11frustrates me about the nation I live in, Australia, OK, we have
- 6:15so much to do. We deal so much with China.
- 6:18Now I I get it. I understand why.
- 6:21But there's so many issues that come.
- 6:23Australia likes to stand up and tout human rights and stand up
- 6:27and say how nations should be doing things, you know, and kind
- 6:32of portray ourselves as being one of the good guys.
- 6:34And yet we deal with China who have got so many human rights
- 6:39issues. I mean forget about.
- 6:42Can you even mention the the Uyghur people in the in the
- 6:45northern section of China who are basically just, you know,
- 6:50it, it makes me laugh when people talk, they make these
- 6:53accusations saying that the Gaza Strip is like, you know the
- 6:58world's biggest prison. Do they forget about the
- 7:01Uighurs, It's like 20 million people, something like that.
- 7:05And they they are basically it's just a basic basically it's just
- 7:11a open air prison. That's what it seems like
- 7:13Australia, we deal with them so much just for the sake of money
- 7:16and we we turn a blind eye to all the other humanitarian
- 7:21issues that are going on, the human rights issues that are
- 7:23going on in China, all for the sake of trade, of making money.
- 7:28I don't. I don't like making that kind of
- 7:31concession just for making money anyway.
- 7:33So yeah, so you've got that. OK, so they are making a play.
- 7:38China has sought to balance its ties with Israel against its
- 7:41relations relations with Iran and Syria, two countries that
- 7:47are strongly backed by Russia and with which China has forged
- 7:52ties for economic reasons as well as to challenge
- 7:55Washington's influence in the Middle East.
- 8:00So I'll look at that and I think, well, it seems obvious we
- 8:04we're if we're not in war, we're definitely heading to war.
- 8:10But then have a look at this one as well.
- 8:14I'll go through this next, this next one here, this next talk
- 8:20straight also when you look at when you look at war and what
- 8:26are we? I mean we're not maybe
- 8:28physically, physically fighting and people would say, well, it's
- 8:32defined by boots on the ground. Is it really?
- 8:35I mean you've got all these countries making sanctions,
- 8:38taking financial sanctions. Isn't this just an act of war as
- 8:42well using financial sanctions? It always another thing that
- 8:47astounds me. You know we we talk about how
- 8:51again Israel, everyone wants to blame Israel.
- 8:53Israel shouldn't be making basically what sanctions against
- 8:59the Palestinian Palestinian group even though they
- 9:03constantly bomb the nation of Israel and they try making
- 9:06sessions. All this we we can go back and
- 9:08forth on the politics and who's right and wrong.
- 9:10At the end of the day, they basically try and restrict or
- 9:16try and monitor what's going in and out of that area because
- 9:19they want to restrict how many missiles going in and out.
- 9:22And it's also does make me makes you wonder, you know, these
- 9:26people are supposedly they can't get food, they can't get petrol,
- 9:30they can't get water, but they sure as heck don't seem to run
- 9:33out of missiles, do they? It's one thing you can get
- 9:38anyway. Israel has sanctions that are
- 9:41places, OK, because it's trying to protect themselves.
- 9:43And everyone gets up in arms about the UN, gets up in arms
- 9:47about it. But then you have, you know, all
- 9:49the sanctions that other countries put, like all the
- 9:51sanctions they made against Russia.
- 9:54This headline here says, are sanctions against Russia making
- 9:57a difference? The United States and its allies
- 10:00have imposed harsh economic penalties on Russia over its war
- 10:04in Ukraine. One year after the invasion
- 10:06began, here's what they have achieved, and where critics say
- 10:09they've fallen short. I'm not going to read everything
- 10:11it says. Since Russia invaded Ukraine,
- 10:14the US has implemented a broad sweep of sanctions focused on
- 10:18isolating Russia from the global financial system, reducing the
- 10:23profitability of its energy sector, and blunting its
- 10:26military edge. So This is why.
- 10:29But that's just a military tactic.
- 10:32This is just, to me, it's an act of war.
- 10:35If you're at war with the nation, you do these kinds of
- 10:38things. You take, you put sanctions on,
- 10:40on people. You know, maybe it's not just
- 10:43the standing, having your army at the border and not allowing
- 10:47goods and goods to go into the country and starving people out,
- 10:51but it's still it's it's isn't it based on the same principles?
- 10:57I think it's just an act of war. I think it's another it's
- 11:00another sign that we are actually in the midst of World
- 11:03War three. Our next headline here with
- 11:06wide-ranging and new sanctions. Treasury targets Russian
- 11:09military linked elites and industrial base.
- 11:16OK Foreign Minister this is an Australian headline.
- 11:19Foreign minister calls for humanitarian pause in Israel and
- 11:22Gaza conflict after Australia announces extra troop aircraft
- 11:28deployment to the Middle East. Extra troop.
- 11:31So we've got. I think it's actually they
- 11:34didn't give the number if I'll read through this a little bit
- 11:37the Fed government will deploy extra troops.
- 11:40That's right. It was a little strange because
- 11:43they wouldn't give the exact number that was going out.
- 11:46They just it's just which it seems a little strange when you
- 11:52don't say to me because they're not giving the exact number.
- 11:56I would be willing to bet that it's going to be a special
- 12:01forces. It's not just our it's not just
- 12:04our kind of general general military it'll be our SAS
- 12:11definitely our SAS and commandos definitely SAS.
- 12:18So the federal government will deploy extra troops and aircraft
- 12:21to the Middle East over concerns for the volatile security
- 12:24situation. Foreign Minister Penny Wong
- 12:30posted the statement to X on Wednesday morning, calling for
- 12:34safe, unimpeded and sustained humanitarian access and safe
- 12:39passage for civilians in the war zone.
- 12:41Acting Prime Minister Richard Miles announced earlier that a
- 12:45country that the country would send a significant number of ADF
- 12:50troops and 2R double AF aircraft to the Middle East.
- 12:57We've already sending, as I said, Bushmasters their vehicle,
- 13:01a military vehicle to Ukraine. We've been supplying that to
- 13:04them. I'm not as sure what else we've
- 13:08been supplying to them. I I would I would actually again
- 13:11if I was a betting man which you know in the past I would be
- 13:16willing to bet that we've got SAS sitting on the border of
- 13:19Ukraine monitoring things and very possibly we've had SAS and
- 13:24commandos training helping you train Ukraine troops that's what
- 13:29I'd be betting. So but when he says significant
- 13:32number and doesn't want to give so and they will they'll join an
- 13:37existing aircraft which is in the Middle East.
- 13:39So that takes the total number of aircraft to three and with
- 13:43them will be a contingent of Australian personnel because
- 13:46he's wants to be so vague with the whole thing.
- 13:49That's why I think Yep OK it'll be SAS.
- 13:52It'll be a special forces guys SAS and commandos here the UK to
- 13:58deploy Royal Navy ships to Middle East to bolster security.
- 14:02The UK will send the Royal Navy ships and surveillance aircraft
- 14:06to the eastern Mediterranean Mediterranean.
- 14:09In plans to bolster security is what number 10 says.
- 14:13It comes after six days of violence.
- 14:16Surprisingly, the attacks from Hamas.
- 14:19The aircraft will begin patrols on Friday to track threats. 3
- 14:24Merlin helicopters and Royal Marines are also being
- 14:27dispatched. The government is also arranging
- 14:30flights for British nationals stranded in Israel.
- 14:34The first plane was expected to leave Tel Aviv on Thursday.
- 14:38A Foreign Office spokesman said the situation around departure
- 14:42was fluid. Anyway, Britain sending troops,
- 14:46sending, sending ships, sending aircraft.
- 14:50The USUS orders more troops to prepare to deploy to the Middle
- 14:55East as conflict in Gaza intensifies.
- 14:59I believe they've got 2 aircraft carriers, so the air not gonna
- 15:03go into the aircraft carriers, but obviously an aircraft
- 15:06carrier has, you know a contingent of ships all with it.
- 15:10It's a big it's a fleet. I think you refer to it as the
- 15:14US military is telling more troops to to prepare to deploy
- 15:18to the Middle East and they're sending a second aircraft
- 15:21carrier and additional air defenses and defense assets to
- 15:25the region as Israel prepares for ground invasion of Gaza.
- 15:30The moves are due to recent escalations by Iran and its
- 15:34proxy forces. This is the other thing,
- 15:37obviously we had the issues the other week where the first lot
- 15:42of the aircraft carrier I think were were already deployed and
- 15:47they already had to intercept missiles that were being thrown
- 15:50that were being sent. This is I'm talking about the
- 15:52US, they already intercepted missiles that were being fired
- 15:56in their direction either at them or towards Israel.
- 16:00So they're they're already joining in.
- 16:04You mightn't be like actually, you know, going in and bombing
- 16:08the ground, but you're intercepting missiles, you're
- 16:10using weapons. The Defense Secretary said he'd
- 16:14ordered an unspecified number of troops to receive prepare to
- 16:17deploy orders, and funny, everyone's unspecified the
- 16:21number of troops to prepare them, ready to leave quickly if
- 16:25needed. The Pentagon It said Tuesday
- 16:27that 2000 U.S. troops from a variety of units have been given
- 16:31a prepare to deploy order. So and what the US will be
- 16:38sending air defense assets, including a Terminal High
- 16:41Altitude Air Defense of THAD Battery and additional Patriot
- 16:45battalions to bases in the region.
- 16:49Rocket and drone attacks have targeted U.S. troops in Iraq and
- 16:52Syria as militant groups respond to the aftermath of Israel's
- 16:56military response. And the attack led to the death
- 17:01of AUS defense contractor. That's very, very sad.
- 17:08So there you go. the US has deployed troops.
- 17:10I think there there was another article I'd read and that said
- 17:13that they had actually deployed so far 900 troops to that area.
- 17:18I'm not sure on numbers with that.
- 17:21It seemed to me that's not including the the people that
- 17:25are actually connected with the the the aircraft carriers.
- 17:31Obviously there's a lot of people aboard all those ships
- 17:34with the aircraft carriers. So you got 900 troops, you got
- 17:37the two aircraft aircraft carriers, all the ships involved
- 17:41with that. You got Britain sending troops
- 17:44over, you've got Australia sending an unknown amount of
- 17:48troops, unspecified amount of troops, plus also planes going
- 17:53over. You've also got obviously
- 17:56Israel's fighting Hamas, Iran's involved with Hezbollah and
- 18:02things like this. You've got Ukraine and Russia
- 18:05fighting. You've got China involved
- 18:10through kind of like backdoor scenarios with Russia showing
- 18:14their support, with Russia helping Russia financially,
- 18:18Russia and China doing deals on the side with Iran, with Syria.
- 18:25Germany's obviously also involved as well with helping
- 18:28to, helping to train and helping to arm Ukraine in other
- 18:33countries. I can't remember all now, but
- 18:36back back to my initial thoughts, My question, are we
- 18:41actually in the middle of World War Three?
- 18:43Because there's a flippant lot of countries involved with
- 18:46various fights all around the world, and it really seems to me
- 18:50like we're in the middle of World War Three, just no one's
- 18:52actually announced it. So I'm not going to say it's my
- 18:58maybe I should just say my opinion.
- 19:01I think we are in the middle or at the start or somewhere.
- 19:03I think we're involved in World War 3 Three currently.
- 19:08As things stand, really want to know what you think?
- 19:12Let me know. I would say scary times, but I
- 19:18also think that everything is in in God's control.
- 19:25That's all my opinion. Thank you for listening to the
- 19:28slippery and this is a slippery slippery slope, this fighting.
- 19:33Wow, thanks for listening. They
