Speaker 1: your early path and the events that shaped your life.

Speaker 2: Okay, Well, I grew up in a family of five girls,

Speaker 2: and I had, you know, a very like a wonderful neighborhood.

Speaker 2: I grew up in with lots of kids, and I

Speaker 2: was back in the seventies and and it was, you know,

Speaker 2: a lot of freedom and a lot of a lot

Speaker 2: of you know, good times that I cherish. My family

Speaker 2: did grow up in the church. My dad was Catholic.

Speaker 2: He married my mom, who was a Southern Baptist, and

Speaker 2: that's a whole other story. But my mom, you know,

Speaker 2: became part of the Catholic Church and brought us there.

Speaker 2: I was very interested and the things that I was

Speaker 2: taught because part of Catholicism is when you're young, as

Speaker 2: you go to CCD and I, you know, did that

Speaker 2: every Saturday morning, and I liked all the stories I heard. Again,

Speaker 2: very interested in spirit things to the point where I

Speaker 2: would I don't know where I even got them from.

Speaker 2: I had these little books I used to carry around

Speaker 2: with me, and I'd read them and different things about

Speaker 2: you know, you know, different people from the Bible, or

Speaker 2: you know about Jesus or lots of things. And then

Speaker 2: as I get a little bit older, I started to

Speaker 2: pick up books about you know, I was interested in witchcraft,

Speaker 2: which was just a I mean really, I was a
3:25
Speaker 2: little Catholic, innocent girl. I was probably eight and I

Speaker 2: picked up something at a grocery store. But I was

Speaker 2: just drawn to these things, and you know, it was
3:33
Speaker 2: always part of maybe my curiosity and part of you know,
3:38
Speaker 2: I just wanted to have a greater understanding of the universe.

Speaker 2: But that's when I was a child. I was also raised.

Speaker 2: I feel like this was important to my life. And
3:47
Speaker 2: even though it's apart from, you know, my spirituality. We

Speaker 2: were raised as competitive swimmers, and that has helped me
3:55
Speaker 2: in so many ways in my life. Because I was

Speaker 2: very young. I was four years old when I joined

Speaker 2: the swim team. Because I was the baby in my family,

Speaker 2: and my sisters they were you know, they're all older

Speaker 2: than me, and they were on the swim team, and
4:08
Speaker 2: I wanted to be too, and so I started. We

Speaker 2: did practices every day. It wasn't just a summer thing.

Speaker 2: It was year round. It was you know, competitions and

Speaker 2: and that just that gave me a lot of confidence
4:21
Speaker 2: that I drew on later in life.

Speaker 1: That's wonderful. But you were raised religiously and you were tall.

Speaker 1: Things like mediumship was wrong, But as a child, you

Speaker 1: were always interested in spiritual things. What do you remember

Speaker 1: about this?

Speaker 2: What I remember primarily is, you know, my mom and

Speaker 2: dad never said these are wrong. My mom always let
4:42
Speaker 2: me read whatever I wanted to read. And she would
4:45
Speaker 2: bring me to the library all the time, and the
4:48
Speaker 2: librarian would say, Kathleen, go to the adult section because

Speaker 2: that's where I was. That's what I wanted, even though
4:54
Speaker 2: you know, I wasn't in the kids section where I
4:56
Speaker 2: should have been. And my mom would let me pick
4:58
Speaker 2: whatever I wanted and I'd read them. Maybe because she

Speaker 2: wasn't raised Catholic, it wasn't that wasn't part of her
5:05
Speaker 2: belief system. But the Catechism classes, the CCD, those were

Speaker 2: the places where i'd hear things like, oh, that's where
5:13
Speaker 2: you know, you know, you're dabbling with the devil if
5:16
Speaker 2: you think about these things. And I do remember, you know,

Speaker 2: like you know, just at some point in my life,

Speaker 2: I said, I've seeing spirit lights. But also when I
5:24
Speaker 2: looked back, I remember being a child and saying to
5:28
Speaker 2: my mom, what are all those dots? Like, what are
5:30
Speaker 2: those things in the air? And she was kind of
5:33
Speaker 2: a little you know, nervous, She didn't know what. She
5:38
Speaker 2: was like, I don't know what you mean. And I said,
5:40
Speaker 2: don't you see these their little lights that are moving
5:42
Speaker 2: and she was like, no, I don't. And I remember
5:45
Speaker 2: her feeling. I felt a little bit like it didn't
5:48
Speaker 2: upset her, but she was like, oh, maybe she is
5:51
Speaker 2: seeing something. That kind of thing.

Speaker 1: Absolutely, Now, when your sister, one of your sisters passed away,

Speaker 1: her spirit came and sat on your bed after she passed.

Speaker 1: What was that experience? Like?

Speaker 2: That was really like an awakening from me, Victor. So

Speaker 2: I lost my sister and it was Mary. And one
6:14
Speaker 2: of the most significant things in my path that happened

Speaker 2: was about ten days before she passed. It was no
6:22
Speaker 2: two weeks actually before she passed. Away. I'm sleeping, sound
6:26
Speaker 2: asleep in bed. I had never had any kind of
6:29
Speaker 2: communication with spirit at this point, other than like some
6:32
Speaker 2: you know, some past live dreams things like that. But
6:34
Speaker 2: I didn't have my arms around any of it. And
6:37
Speaker 2: I'm sound asleep, and I hear this booming male voice
6:40
Speaker 2: say ten more days. And I didn't understand the significance
6:46
Speaker 2: of it, but I was scared by it. And I
6:48
Speaker 2: talked to my Mary, who I was very very close with,
6:51
Speaker 2: and we shared all these things with each other. And
6:54
Speaker 2: I called her and she said, I had a weird
6:55
Speaker 2: dream too, and she told me she was in a
6:58
Speaker 2: situation in the dream where somebody was driving a car

Speaker 2: and she was in the passenger seat and she didn't
7:04
Speaker 2: know who the person was, but he was driving really
7:07
Speaker 2: fast and recklessly. And she said, in the dream, I
7:09
Speaker 2: knew I was going to die, She's like, and I
7:11
Speaker 2: woke up like terrified, and so we were both nervous.

Speaker 2: We both had the feeling that we might pass. That
7:19
Speaker 2: was kind of what I thought. And then Mary actually
7:21
Speaker 2: did pass like maybe, you know, like I said, maybe
7:24
Speaker 2: two weeks after that dream. And that was shocking, you know,

Speaker 2: it was really shocking to me, and She left two
7:31
Speaker 2: young kids, and her daughter was eleven at the time,
7:36
Speaker 2: and she's my goddaughter. And it was just, you know,
7:39
Speaker 2: when her son was fifteen. It was just it was
7:42
Speaker 2: a lot, and we were all doing the best we
7:45
Speaker 2: could to get through this. And I was sleeping one
7:48
Speaker 2: night and I suddenly could see myself in bed. I
7:55
Speaker 2: could see the clothes I was wearing, what I had
7:57
Speaker 2: put on to go to bed. Now. She passed away
7:59
Speaker 2: and in June, and I think this didn't happen until

Speaker 2: around September. I remember I had I'd gone to sleep

Speaker 2: in like a turtle neck sweater, which I wouldn't have
8:07
Speaker 2: done in the summer. It was a little bit after
8:10
Speaker 2: she passed and I saw myself, and then from the
8:15
Speaker 2: doorway almost and from the ceiling, and then I was
8:19
Speaker 2: back in like my own body. I could see her coming,
8:23
Speaker 2: and she walked in the door, and there were two
8:25
Speaker 2: forms like you could see the outline of two other
8:31
Speaker 2: spirits who were walking behind her. And she looked just
8:35
Speaker 2: like Mary. She was married, and I couldn't see the
8:38
Speaker 2: faces of the other people. I think they were her
8:40
Speaker 2: spirit guides, primarily because they were surrounded in gold. And
8:46
Speaker 2: I've seen that before, you know, in other times and
8:48
Speaker 2: you know later and later in my mediumship experiences. But
8:52
Speaker 2: they followed her in and they stood behind her, and
8:54
Speaker 2: she came and she sat on the bed and she
8:57
Speaker 2: held my hand and we talked. I could feel her.

Speaker 2: I could feel her hand in my hand as if
9:03
Speaker 2: she were physical, and we talked about you know, where
9:09
Speaker 2: she was, you know where she was. And she said,

Speaker 2: I have to I'm going to have to. I have

Speaker 2: to go someplace else. I'm not going to be close by.

Speaker 2: I have to go somewhere. I don't remember the exact words,

Speaker 2: but it was something to do with her you know,
9:23
Speaker 2: education or growth, and she had to go to another
9:26
Speaker 2: sort of plane of existence for a bit. And she said,

Speaker 2: but I'm coming back and I'm going to be close by,
9:32
Speaker 2: and you know, she asked me to watch over the
9:34
Speaker 2: kids and and and then when she was done and
9:37
Speaker 2: she said, I had to go, she had to go.

Speaker 2: She stood up and I watched her just walk through,
9:45
Speaker 2: Like the headboard of my bed was up against the
9:47
Speaker 2: wall that led to the outside, and she just went
9:50
Speaker 2: right through that wall. And the two people behind her, spirit,
9:54
Speaker 2: the two spirit guys, just followed her right out.

Speaker 1: And what did you take away from that experience.

Speaker 2: I took away a lot. I took primarily that Mary

Speaker 2: still exists. It was monumental to me to understand that

Speaker 2: her the death of her body was not the death
10:18
Speaker 2: of my sister. And I started becoming much more interested

Speaker 2: in spiritual things, and you know, I was slowly introduced
10:31
Speaker 2: to them, and that was really where I started to
10:37
Speaker 2: learn and open up and understand that life goes on.

Speaker 2: At that point, I thought where my interest was was
10:45
Speaker 2: in seeing other mediums work, having no idea that I
10:49
Speaker 2: had any mediumship ability. To me, I was just like,
10:52
Speaker 2: that was some kind of vivid dream. Now I think
10:56
Speaker 2: it's think of it as a clairvoyant dream, but or
10:59
Speaker 2: you know, a visitation, you know, But at the time

Speaker 2: it was just a very vivid dream. So it was
11:06
Speaker 2: a little bit longer after that before I was ready
11:09
Speaker 2: to open up myself and you know, realized that I
11:12
Speaker 2: was a medium.

Speaker 1: Now you've come out to say that you're a recovered alcoholic,
11:16
Speaker 1: and when you battled alcoholism at one point either passed
11:20
Speaker 1: away in your sleep or had a profound mediumship experience,
11:24
Speaker 1: you didn't know that you had these gifts at that
11:26
Speaker 1: time while you were in this limbo state. You met
11:30
Speaker 1: a woman called Elizabeth, a spirit guide. You visited a
11:34
Speaker 1: beautiful place with her. Please explain where you were and
11:37
Speaker 1: what you saw and you felt.
11:41
Speaker 2: So when I started drinking when I was eleven years old.
11:45
Speaker 2: Just to give you a tiny bit of a backstory here,
11:48
Speaker 2: So I got sober when I was twenty six, and
11:51
Speaker 2: I was I was in really bad shape. And when
11:54
Speaker 2: I was, you know, finally treated, I had an intervention
11:57
Speaker 2: and the doctor that came to me said, you know,

Speaker 2: if you don't stop drinking, you're not going to see
12:01
Speaker 2: twenty seven like this. I was very sick. So the
12:06
Speaker 2: months leading up to that intervention, a couple of things happened,
12:12
Speaker 2: and one of them was that I had this dream.
12:15
Speaker 2: Now I would pass out every night. I would drink
12:17
Speaker 2: to the point of passing out. So I wasn't having
12:20
Speaker 2: dreams because you don't have that kind of clarity in
12:23
Speaker 2: your mind when you're drinking so heavily. One night, I
12:27
Speaker 2: had this what I thought of at the time as
12:29
Speaker 2: a dream. I saw this very beautiful woman. She came
12:36
Speaker 2: to me. She knew me, she really knew me. She
12:40
Speaker 2: understood me on a deep level, and she came to
12:43
Speaker 2: me and she brought me with her. Now we're going
12:46
Speaker 2: back a lot a lot of years here, so bear
12:48
Speaker 2: with me on that. In terms of detail. She brought
12:52
Speaker 2: me to a place that I think of now as
12:55
Speaker 2: the spirit world. At the time, I thought Heaven. I
12:58
Speaker 2: think it's the same, know, And I just remember standing

Speaker 2: beside her and looking out on this extraordinary landscape, and
13:10
Speaker 2: it was all things that you might have seen here
13:13
Speaker 2: on earth, except there were colors, like there were flowers
13:17
Speaker 2: that I had never seen. There were colors I had
13:20
Speaker 2: never seen. There were like the beautiful bodies of water
13:24
Speaker 2: and animals, and I just remember that we had a
13:29
Speaker 2: conversation and it was, I want to say, like a
13:34
Speaker 2: heart to heart kind of conversation where she conveyed important
13:38
Speaker 2: information to me, and you know, and then after that
13:42
Speaker 2: point there was an understanding that of what was going
13:46
Speaker 2: to happen in my path. I wish I could be
13:48
Speaker 2: more specific, but I can't. I don't remember anything that
13:52
Speaker 2: was said after that. There was another important thing that happened,
13:57
Speaker 2: and that was on my way to buy some alcohol
13:59
Speaker 2: one day by myself. I was very much like on

Speaker 2: my own at that time, very depressed and just just
14:07
Speaker 2: a terrible state of mind, and I went to buy alcohol,

Speaker 2: and on my way back to my apartment, I pulled
14:17
Speaker 2: into a church. I hadn't stepped foot in a church
14:21
Speaker 2: in decades, you know, since I was a little girl.

Speaker 2: Maybe not decades, but a good fifteen sixteen years, because
14:27
Speaker 2: I had left the Catholic church when I was, you know,
14:30
Speaker 2: in middle school. I had already rejected it. But I
14:34
Speaker 2: walked into one and I just walked up to the
14:37
Speaker 2: front pew and I got down on my knees and
14:41
Speaker 2: I just said, I need help, and I sat there
14:45
Speaker 2: for a little bit, and then I went home. Shortly thereafter.

Speaker 2: In the next probably a week, I had a call
14:52
Speaker 2: from one of my relatives, my aunt Alfia, who was
14:55
Speaker 2: we were very close, and she invited me to come
14:58
Speaker 2: down to where she was living in Florida, and she

Speaker 2: ended up helping me get into a rehab and my
15:03
Speaker 2: life changed forever, and I've never gone back to it.

Speaker 2: It's been you know, thirty some odd years, and I
15:09
Speaker 2: just I have no interest in alcoholic drugs, you know.

Speaker 2: I'm just I'm living a life that I'm proud of
15:16
Speaker 2: and that i'm happy in. But you know, until that time,
15:20
Speaker 2: I didn't really have access to the spiritual side of
15:23
Speaker 2: my life. I had to clean out all that garbage first.

Speaker 1: You say that as you were approaching that church, or
15:31
Speaker 1: being drawn to that church, you felt as if there
15:33
Speaker 1: was something or someone pulling you in. Is that correct?

Speaker 2: It was more of a yeah, I guess it was
15:39
Speaker 2: just a feeling of I need to be here, this
15:42
Speaker 2: is something I need to do. It was it felt
15:44
Speaker 2: like this might be a safe place for me to
15:46
Speaker 2: go and ask for help. It was definitely out of
15:49
Speaker 2: character for me, Victor at that point, because I didn't
15:52
Speaker 2: talk about the fact that I didn't I didn't want
15:55
Speaker 2: anybody to talk about my alcoholism. I didn't acknowledge it.

Speaker 2: I ignored it. Even when the commercials would come on

Speaker 2: for rehabs, I'd turn the channel, you know. So this was, like,
16:05
Speaker 2: I guess, an opening, and I guess it's more of
16:08
Speaker 2: a looking back. Yes, I think I was guided.

Speaker 1: Wonderful. Now getting back to your sister's passing and that appearance,

Speaker 1: so that sense that you had of her being in
16:18
Speaker 1: your room. A few days after that, a news item
16:22
Speaker 1: reported on a child who died in a car crash
16:25
Speaker 1: was revived and experienced meeting a beautiful woman, A spirit
16:29
Speaker 1: guide called Elizabeth. Was this a coincidence or meant to be?

Speaker 2: I think it was meant to be, so I'm not
16:36
Speaker 2: sure if I if I mentioned that when I told
16:38
Speaker 2: you the story about the you know, when I went
16:41
Speaker 2: to the you know, the spirit well and there was
16:43
Speaker 2: this what I think of as an intervention in my
16:45
Speaker 2: life and this beautiful woman I met. I do remember.

Speaker 2: That's the clearest part of the dream to me, is
16:50
Speaker 2: that she said, my name is Elizabeth. And yeah. It

Speaker 2: was a few days after that. I was watching like
16:56
Speaker 2: a news show and this this mom and her son

Speaker 2: Moran being interviewed because they had been in a car
17:03
Speaker 2: accident and her son had been killed in the car accident,
17:08
Speaker 2: and that he'd been pronounced dead and then he was
17:10
Speaker 2: able to be he came back to life. He was
17:13
Speaker 2: resuscitated and he was talking and I was listening to him,
17:18
Speaker 2: and he said, I was met by this beautiful woman
17:21
Speaker 2: and her name was Elizabeth. And it really shook me
17:25
Speaker 2: because I thought I couldn't believe it.

Speaker 1: In retrospect, Who or what is Elizabeth?

Speaker 2: To me? She's a spirit guide. She maybe what other
17:39
Speaker 2: people think of as angels. She could have been an
17:44
Speaker 2: angel to be honest with you, I don't know if
17:47
Speaker 2: there is a difference between, you know, the spirit guides
17:50
Speaker 2: and the angelic figures on the other side. I don't
17:54
Speaker 2: know or understand that difference, but it's that kind of
17:58
Speaker 2: a role where she was there to assist me while

Speaker 2: I was in my physical body.

Speaker 1: Wonderful when you stop drinking, you started having past life dreams,

Speaker 1: seeing different lives and understanding where each life ended. What

Speaker 1: were some of these past lives and how did they
18:19
Speaker 1: shape your awareness?

Speaker 2: They serve to open me up a little bit more Victor.

Speaker 2: So the first time it happened, I had this dream,

Speaker 2: it was every time I had them that was you
18:33
Speaker 2: know that little space between you know, when you're awakened,
18:37
Speaker 2: then you drop it off to sleep, and there's a
18:39
Speaker 2: little space right in between where if a spirit comes
18:42
Speaker 2: to see you, that's when they're coming in. At least
18:45
Speaker 2: that's been my experience I've had. Since then, I've had
18:50
Speaker 2: people come in and I see them, you know, But
18:53
Speaker 2: at that point in my life, I had not I
18:55
Speaker 2: was in my late twenties. I was trying to just
18:58
Speaker 2: be sober and that was the focus of my life.

Speaker 2: And the first dream that I had, like like This

Speaker 2: became a repetitive dream, and it was that I was
19:09
Speaker 2: sort of like my viewpoint was from the sky, and
19:12
Speaker 2: I could see a car driving down a country road,

Speaker 2: and I became you know, it's almost like I was
19:19
Speaker 2: swooping in. I could see my you know, the car
19:22
Speaker 2: becoming closer. I was getting closer to the car, and
19:25
Speaker 2: I could see the The driver was a man, a
19:30
Speaker 2: young man, and a woman was in the passenger seat,
19:33
Speaker 2: and I couldn't see her face. Y had a hat,
19:36
Speaker 2: and the car looked old. It looked to me like
19:39
Speaker 2: from the forties or fifties, and she was, you know,
19:43
Speaker 2: in this pretty little like dress on, but something that
19:46
Speaker 2: I wouldn't have seen in the nineties. When I was
19:49
Speaker 2: having this experience, and I could hear music in the
19:54
Speaker 2: background from a town. It was, I believe it was
19:57
Speaker 2: the fourth of July. It was something like that. It
19:59
Speaker 2: was patriotic music, that kind of thing. And then I

Speaker 2: came closer to her and I had this sudden understanding
20:07
Speaker 2: that she was about to die. This is what this
20:11
Speaker 2: was the end of her life. And at first I
20:14
Speaker 2: didn't recognize it as me, Victor, but I kept having
20:18
Speaker 2: these repetitive dreams and I started associating myself closer with
20:22
Speaker 2: her and understanding that, oh, that's actually me. That's the
20:27
Speaker 2: end of my life. And that happened until I understood it,
20:32
Speaker 2: and then I didn't have it. Hmm.

Speaker 1: You had several of these.

Speaker 2: Of that one in particular, I had done a number
20:39
Speaker 2: of times, and then I had There were a couple
20:42
Speaker 2: others that I had that I couldn't see my body

Speaker 2: in them, but like, for example, one of them, someone

Speaker 2: was chasing me through the woods and at the end,
20:54
Speaker 2: I could hear that we were near a school. I
20:56
Speaker 2: could hear kids playing at like a recess, and I
20:58
Speaker 2: was trying to get away from this man, and I

Speaker 2: could feel him. I could hear his feet, and I
21:03
Speaker 2: could hear he was coming closer to me. And then
21:06
Speaker 2: I would I stumble to the ground. I was on
21:08
Speaker 2: my stomach, and then I'd wake up.

Speaker 1: When you're in the spirit world, you're linked to a

Speaker 1: particular persona a little Indian girl, and you were told

Speaker 1: that you had spent a lifetime in India. Please share

Speaker 1: the significance of this and what it's like to channel her.

Speaker 2: Oh, okay, so you know, after you know, after my

Speaker 2: sister's death, and then I lost another very close friend

Speaker 2: I started hearing and then eventually began channeling. And I

Speaker 2: would do this, you know, with my husband. I still

Speaker 2: do it with my husband. He's the grounding force for

Speaker 2: me while I channel and we channeled, you know, people

Speaker 2: that we know are loved ones and other spirit guides

Speaker 2: would come in. And one day, this little girl starts

Speaker 2: coming in and I was kind of nervous about her

Speaker 2: at first because I didn't know who she was, and

Speaker 2: she would come through very easily. It was just speaking

Speaker 2: sentences very easily through my mouth. And she said her

Speaker 2: name was Sanna, and she's very playful. She's about five

Speaker 2: years old, and she would tell us things about the

Speaker 2: spirit world, and you know, she loved the animals and

Speaker 2: the spirit world and different things about it. And she

Speaker 2: eventually said to us that she is me, that she's

Speaker 2: actually she's an incarnation that I had, and that she

Speaker 2: is still accessible to me as part of my own soul.

Speaker 2: This is not something I knew anything about Victor before

Speaker 2: it happened, and it was a little bit startling. It

Speaker 2: took me a while to feel comfortable with that. But

Speaker 2: for whatever reason, she is the one that's prominent, at

Speaker 2: least during this lifetime. She is the most prominent part

Speaker 2: of my soul out of the lifetimes that I've had.

Speaker 2: And that's how she appears in the spirit world as well.

Speaker 2: So I've caught little glimpses of her sometimes, you know,

Speaker 2: when I'm communicating and I could see her. I went

Speaker 2: through a phase with this where I would see her

Speaker 2: I could see her long black hair, and she would

Speaker 2: come and show me. You know. She liked to talk

Speaker 2: to my husband and she'd say, I have a new dress.

Speaker 2: she was. And I don't know if that's the age

Speaker 2: that she passed. I think it's quite possible, but she

Speaker 1: in Heaven. Kathleen, how did you transition from lawyer and

Speaker 1: business owner to medium and channel?

Speaker 2: I know it's an interesting mix. Well, I'm still a

Speaker 2: business owner, but primarily my husband does that. But I
25:59
Speaker 2: do not practice law anymore. I when I started learning

Speaker 2: about mediumship and just you know, all the things that
26:11
Speaker 2: came up on my spiritual path, the practice of law

Speaker 2: was no longer interesting to me. It just felt empty.

Speaker 2: When I was, you know, hearing these things from spirit

Speaker 2: that were they were so comforting, there was so enlightening.

Speaker 2: I just I loved what I was doing. And I

Speaker 2: had already been a an author in the past. I

Speaker 2: had published another book, but I as soon as I

Speaker 2: kind of started to get my arms around the information

Speaker 2: that was given to me by spirit, some of that

Speaker 2: had to do with past lives and reincarnation and soul

Speaker 2: mats and soul families, and you know, the idea that

Speaker 2: none of us actually die. We just transition all of

Speaker 2: that to heal me from the losses in my life

Speaker 2: and helped me to feel very differently about the path

Speaker 2: I was on. And I decided that I wanted to

Speaker 2: write a book about reincarnation, about soulmates, about all these

Speaker 2: things that I had learned, and I wanted to make

Speaker 2: it a novel. I wanted to write a story, and

Speaker 2: so the characters are fictional, but the bones of the

Speaker 2: story are these concepts that I had been taught. And

Speaker 2: the reason I do that is a couple of reasons.

Speaker 2: Because people always ask, why didn't you just write it

Speaker 2: as a nonfiction book, And you know, I feel like

Speaker 2: it's a little easier to digest information when it's embedded

Speaker 2: with a story or into a story. And also I'm

Speaker 2: a storyteller. That's just more my nature. I love to
27:57
Speaker 2: tell stories. And so I had written the first book

Speaker 2: when you and I first met, Victor was before we
28:05
Speaker 2: were born, and that's the one where I introduced all
28:08
Speaker 2: these concepts in these two soulmates who in the spirit world.

Speaker 2: Their names are Ilia and Cali, and they come forth
28:19
Speaker 2: together and they the idea is that they travel through
28:23
Speaker 2: lifetimes together and they meet in between in the spirit world.

Speaker 2: And just to give you the start of it is,

Speaker 2: you know, they come here and one of them has
28:34
Speaker 2: a better start than the other one. So Ilia, who's
28:38
Speaker 2: the man. He's born as a male child again, and
28:42
Speaker 2: he is born to a woman who is an alcoholic
28:45
Speaker 2: and a drug addict. And of course I'm bringing in
28:47
Speaker 2: some of my own experience and all these things, and
28:51
Speaker 2: he is born with field alcohol syndrome, and so his
28:54
Speaker 2: life is much more difficult than his soulmates. So it's
28:57
Speaker 2: really about their path and it's places. It's a tough

Speaker 2: read and what happens to them, and you know, one
29:04
Speaker 2: of them predeceases the other and they learn how to
29:07
Speaker 2: communicate over the two realms. And so the next step

Speaker 2: was for what is there what's going to happen to
29:16
Speaker 2: these soulmates in their next life? And so I wrote
29:20
Speaker 2: this book called Meet Me in Heaven, and it's the

Speaker 2: same souls, but they are in new bodies and they
29:29
Speaker 2: do go to some of the people that were in
29:33
Speaker 2: the first book that were in their families in that
29:35
Speaker 2: past life, and you know, for for good reason, I

Speaker 2: mean all of this, I tried to stay true to
29:41
Speaker 2: the things that I learned from Spirit and one of
29:45
Speaker 2: those things is that you know, we like to travel
29:47
Speaker 2: with in pacts, we travel with our families. These are
29:51
Speaker 2: people that these souls are our family on the other
29:55
Speaker 2: side as well, and we love, you know, being together,
29:59
Speaker 2: being near each other, and we play different roles when
30:02
Speaker 2: we come. So we may be one time the mom
30:04
Speaker 2: and maybe next time you're the daughter of the Sun.

Speaker 2: And I wanted to introduce some of that, so I

Speaker 2: mixed up the characters a little, but there's some of
30:12
Speaker 2: them from the last book are there because they're part
30:15
Speaker 2: of that spirit family. So and I also just wanted

Speaker 2: to talk a little bit more about soulmates and how
30:24
Speaker 2: they're not necessarily romantic, which they very much are in
30:27
Speaker 2: the first book, but in this one, yes, there's the

Speaker 2: two soulmates that are the romantic partners, but there's also

Speaker 2: these two souls who are brothers, and I wanted to

Speaker 2: talk about that kind of soul connection between two brothers

Speaker 2: and how we have a lot of different relationships where

Speaker 2: we're connected to you know, another person you know, we're
30:47
Speaker 2: spiritually connected.

Speaker 1: Let's talk a little bit more about soulmates. Many are
30:52
Speaker 1: familiar with the term, and some are also familiar with
30:55
Speaker 1: the concept of what they call twin flame soulmates. Your
30:59
Speaker 1: character is I'd easily be seen this twin flame are
31:02
Speaker 1: twin flame soulmates and relationships real.

Speaker 2: I can't speak to twin flames, particularly because I guess
31:12
Speaker 2: I don't know about them as much about that to
31:15
Speaker 2: make that decision. But soulmates are real. They're just not
31:20
Speaker 2: necessarily You don't necessarily have one soulmate, one person you're
31:25
Speaker 2: supposed to be with for the rest of your life.

Speaker 2: There are relationships where people like the two in my books,
31:34
Speaker 2: go from lifetime to lifetime. They meet up, but pay
31:38
Speaker 2: attention to the people around you because it's not just
31:42
Speaker 2: it's not just romantic. So like in the second book,

Speaker 2: I mean it really is. It's this, Really the whole
31:50
Speaker 2: book is standing on top of this relationship between two
31:55
Speaker 2: brothers and like one of them being there for the
31:57
Speaker 2: other and helping them to get through this life in

Speaker 2: the best way possible for him.

Speaker 1: So also sole families then.

Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely sole families.

Speaker 1: And also all types of sol sole friend relationships.

Speaker 2: Yes, yes, and that's an important thing too. And and

Speaker 2: in the first book, Before We Were Born, the man

Speaker 2: who incarnates with his partner in that lifetime, his name
32:26
Speaker 2: is Jeremy, and Jeremy's in this very you know, broken family.

Speaker 2: He's the one with the fetal alcohol syndrome and he's
32:33
Speaker 2: getting by pretty you know, pretty well with the disability
32:37
Speaker 2: that he has, but he's he's isolated in a lot
32:40
Speaker 2: of ways. And he meets this he meets this friend
32:44
Speaker 2: and they become very good friends. And that friend, even
32:49
Speaker 2: though like they didn't know each other before, it became
32:54
Speaker 2: a sole connection. So that when Jeremy comes back in
32:58
Speaker 2: another body, he as a relationship with this friend. It's

Speaker 2: a different relationship. And I don't want to give it away,
33:04
Speaker 2: but that's because once this connection is formed, people stay together.

Speaker 2: And I, you know, I like that idea because to me,

Speaker 2: I think, when I think back on all the people
33:16
Speaker 2: I've loved in my life, like the love is still there.

Speaker 2: And when people pass the spirit and you you know,
33:23
Speaker 2: quote unquote lose them, you still love them, like it
33:27
Speaker 2: doesn't stop. And on the other side, they don't stop too.

Speaker 2: The love always continues.

Speaker 1: So it is possible to have more than one soulmate

Speaker 1: relationship during a lifetime. Yes, And how would we recognize that?

Speaker 2: You know? I think sometimes we meet a soulmate so

Speaker 2: they can help us on a particular journey we're on.

Speaker 2: Sometimes they're there to help us recognize who we are

Speaker 2: are and where we want to be and for that
34:03
Speaker 2: to happen. This soulmate doesn't necessarily have to be easy

Speaker 2: to get along with. Sometimes it's somebody that stirs you
34:09
Speaker 2: up inside and makes you mad, you know, makes you
34:12
Speaker 2: feel like, why is this person, you know, trying to
34:15
Speaker 2: push me in this direction? Or it can be It's
34:17
Speaker 2: not necessarily all smooth sailing, is what I'm trying to say.

Speaker 2: I suppose. But how you would recognize them? I think
34:26
Speaker 2: it's always your own gut, which is your intuition speaking
34:31
Speaker 2: and telling you this person is important.

Speaker 1: You know. It's interesting. Over the past few years, I've
34:37
Speaker 1: met many people and who after speaking with them for
34:42
Speaker 1: a few minutes, some of them guests on my show,
34:44
Speaker 1: some of them in real life in the good well
34:47
Speaker 1: this is real life, but I'm talking about it in
34:49
Speaker 1: everyday life. And I will immediately say this person and
34:53
Speaker 1: I have traveled together before. Is that something we all
34:58
Speaker 1: can do recognize that?

Speaker 2: I think so, But it takes some spiritual growth to
35:03
Speaker 2: get there, and it takes some confidence in ourselves. You've
35:07
Speaker 2: been on your path for a long time and you
35:09
Speaker 2: have a clear understanding of who you are. I mean,
35:12
Speaker 2: that's a that's a very direct link with spirit for
35:15
Speaker 2: you to be able to to know that right away.
35:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just a feeling you either physically recognize or
35:25
Speaker 1: something in what they share and you say, I know
35:29
Speaker 1: that person, I've traveled with that person before.
35:31
Speaker 2: Yes, that's that's amazing.

Speaker 1: And doing so you can help each other in the
35:38
Speaker 1: challenges that exist in this lifetime, whether or not you
35:41
Speaker 1: have a direct relationship.

Speaker 2: Yes, that's right.

Speaker 1: Be spirit counselors to one another.

Speaker 2: Yes.

Speaker 1: Absolutely. You have a new genre, spirit fiction. You have

Speaker 1: invented a genre. What did it feel like for that?

Speaker 2: Oh, jeez, you know that's I just thought when I

Speaker 2: tried to describe what I do, is that I you know,
36:06
Speaker 2: I call it spirit fiction, and it's because I write
36:10
Speaker 2: fiction based on on spirit, you know, based on everything

Speaker 2: I've learned about the spirit. And honestly, it's like that's
36:17
Speaker 2: where all the books come from. That's where you know,
36:21
Speaker 2: we watch people that are you know, great musicians, and
36:24
Speaker 2: I mean so much as channels when we don't even
36:26
Speaker 2: know it, you know. And I realize that in my
36:28
Speaker 2: own work, and I can. I can look back on
36:30
Speaker 2: my first book that I wrote about alcoholism back I
36:33
Speaker 2: don't know, a long time ago, and I wasn't connected
36:37
Speaker 2: really to spirit yet in the way that I am now.

Speaker 2: But still I can if I reread that, things jump
36:43
Speaker 2: out at me and I realize that came from beyond,
36:47
Speaker 2: that came from spirit.

Speaker 1: Absolutely. So you're sharing the truth of spirit stories, of

Speaker 1: spirit connection stories, but you're doing it in a fictional way.

Speaker 1: That's correct, wonderful. Getting back to you, which of the

Speaker 1: Claires we talk about the Claire as we talk about clairvoyance,
37:03
Speaker 1: Claire Audience, Clare Sentience. Which of the Claires opened for you,

Speaker 1: and please describe how you recognize them?

Speaker 2: Well, Claire Clear Audience is the first thing that happened
37:16
Speaker 2: for me, and I want to say that probably began
37:20
Speaker 2: back before my sister passed and I got that voice
37:22
Speaker 2: that said ten more days. I did have that happen
37:26
Speaker 2: again before I lost my good friend, and the spirit
37:32
Speaker 2: said to me in a question form, would you like
37:37
Speaker 2: thirty more days? And I could hear myself say yes,
37:41
Speaker 2: but I didn't the physical person that I am did
37:43
Speaker 2: not say that. And then you know, this friend of mine,
37:46
Speaker 2: we had been disconnected for a long time, and I
37:50
Speaker 2: didn't put it together at the time. You know, I
37:52
Speaker 2: didn't know who was going to die, and but that's
37:55
Speaker 2: what it was, and he passed. He passed three days
37:57
Speaker 2: after we reconnected. And you know, I know now that

Speaker 2: that was a spirit speaking to me, and I was
38:05
Speaker 2: able to hear it. When I started delving into mediumship

Speaker 2: and learning about it, I just I was so intense
38:14
Speaker 2: about it. I would meditate several times a day, and

Speaker 2: the first thing I started to hear was little words

Speaker 2: here and there. I'd hear something and I'd be like,

Speaker 2: you know, I could put a little phrase together. So

Speaker 2: that led to the channeling. The clear audience led to channeling.

Speaker 2: I had a time where when I was doing all

Speaker 2: that intense meditation, I was also getting a lot of
38:38
Speaker 2: clearvoyant images. To be honest, I got overwhelmed. There was

Speaker 2: too much happening at once. So I would see people.

Speaker 2: I'd be walking through the grocery store and you know,

Speaker 2: suddenly a face would pop into my my I guess

Speaker 2: my third eye, and I think it was like there'd

Speaker 2: be someone shopping there buy me this person was connected

Speaker 2: to them. It was just a lot. I had people

Speaker 2: waking me up at night trying to get through to
39:07
Speaker 2: their loved ones and just kind of like I could

Speaker 2: feel them touching me and shaking me. And so I

Speaker 2: had to draw some lines around all of this. So

Speaker 2: my clairvoyance I haven't pursued as much. Once in a

Speaker 2: while now i'll get a good clear voyant image of

Speaker 2: somebody and I'll know they're visiting, you know, But primarily

Speaker 2: it would be Claire audience.

Speaker 1: I don't know if I shared this with you the

Speaker 1: last time we spoke, but I have experienced Claire audience

Speaker 1: most of my life.

Speaker 2: Oh no, I didn't remember that.

Speaker 1: And a very quick story. In nineteen seventy five, I

Speaker 1: was in the United States Air Force. I was stationed
39:44
Speaker 1: in Korea, and one morning I woke up and the

Speaker 1: voice that came to me said, you need to call

Speaker 1: your mother back in New York. She needs to hear
39:53
Speaker 1: from you. Now. We were writing back and forth every
39:56
Speaker 1: month at US mail and one but nothing was indicated

Speaker 1: in any of the letters that she exchanged with me
40:04
Speaker 1: that anything was wrong. So in any event, I always

Speaker 1: listened to that voice. It's what we used to call

Speaker 1: the still soft voice within, rather than the ego voice

Speaker 1: which shouted you. It's the it's the soft voice which
40:14
Speaker 1: gives you information that you need to have. And I
40:17
Speaker 1: called back in New York. And if you recall, back
40:19
Speaker 1: in those days, we had wired telephones so that you
40:21
Speaker 1: could pick up a phone in one room and pick
40:23
Speaker 1: up the same extension in another room. And my mother
40:26
Speaker 1: and sister picked up the phones simultaneously, and I said, Mom,

Speaker 1: is there anything wrong? And my sister exclaims, Oh my god,
40:34
Speaker 1: how did he find out? And it turned out she
40:36
Speaker 1: was scheduled for major surgery the next day, and the
40:40
Speaker 1: voice told me to tell her the operation would be
40:42
Speaker 1: a complete success, she'd have a rapid recovery, everything would
40:46
Speaker 1: be just fine. She needed to hear that encouraging message,
40:49
Speaker 1: and that's exactly what happened.

Speaker 2: Oh, that's so wonderful.

Speaker 1: And I'm grateful for that voice coming to me and

Speaker 1: sharing that.

Speaker 2: Yes, I mean, that's you know, there's someone on the

Speaker 2: other side, whoever that is, it's your spirit guide. It's

Speaker 2: You know, it just it shifted something in me that

Speaker 2: I was allowed to somehow open up a channel. That's

Speaker 2: the biggest one. I mean, it took. It took quite

Speaker 2: a while though. It wasn't an overnight thing. It was,

Speaker 2: you know, maybe a year or two before I actually
44:33
Speaker 2: started channeling. But in the beginning, the first thing that

Speaker 2: started happening for me as I started seeing auras and
44:40
Speaker 2: it was just not when I was trying to I
44:43
Speaker 2: would just be you know, in a like in a group.

Speaker 2: I used to go to the Spiritualist Church a lot,

Speaker 2: which is where I learned that if you meditate you

Speaker 2: can open up as a medium. And I'd be sitting

Speaker 2: in the back in the church, just watching and I

Speaker 2: would suddenly see the mediums aura come like sh out

Speaker 2: from their body, and that was really like, it is

Speaker 2: an awesome experience to be able to see that, and

Speaker 2: so that happened to me often. And I would also

Speaker 2: see spirit lights, which to me are like little either

Speaker 2: little orbs little, you know, smallish orbs. I'd see them

Speaker 2: in my home, or I would see a big, like
45:21
Speaker 2: a big almost blob of light. We talked earlier about

Speaker 2: my sister Mary, who passed a spirit quite a long

Speaker 2: time ago now, and when she's around, I've been able

Speaker 2: to figure out that I see that blob of pink's
45:38
Speaker 2: she emanates pink for whatever reason, it's associated with her soul.

Speaker 2: So meditation led me to that. And then eventually, as

Speaker 2: I mentioned earlier, I'd start to hear words, and you know,

Speaker 2: my husband would do this with me, and it was

Speaker 2: very patient and he would kind of write down what

Speaker 2: was coming out, and then you know, eventually it got

Speaker 2: to the point where they were telling me that I

Speaker 2: could be more of a direct medium. And when that happened,

Speaker 2: I actually worked with one of my spirit guides put

Speaker 2: his some kind of energy. I want to say put

Speaker 2: his hand on my head, but I couldn't see him.

Speaker 2: I don't know exactly what that was, but I could

Speaker 2: feel the energy entering my crown chakra and that was

Speaker 2: when the energy came down through my body, down through

Speaker 2: my throat, down into my solar plexus, and that was

Speaker 2: when I started channeling. And in the beginning it was

Speaker 2: sort of rough. It was like a voice would come

Speaker 2: out like rough, like I was not to be crude,

Speaker 2: but almost like I was throwing it up. And then

Speaker 2: it became smoother, and now it's just kind of you know,

Speaker 2: it speaks to me, but I can't speak to exactly

Speaker 2: how meditation works towards this, but it does shift something

Speaker 2: opened something up. And also I think it's showing intention

Speaker 2: Victor when you say, I'm sitting here meditating because I

Speaker 2: want to be able to communicate with those on the

Speaker 2: other side. So it's a strong intention that's set forth.

Speaker 2: So people, I think it's the way if you want

Speaker 2: to be a medium, you know, that's how you go

Speaker 2: about it. But if you don't, it's not going to

Speaker 2: just suddenly happen to you.

Speaker 1: We have a lot of listeners who have a regular

Speaker 1: meditation practice. Is this something they.

Speaker 2: Can engage in sure if they intend to.

Speaker 1: Set the intention and then ask to hear the voice.

Speaker 2: Yes, ask too. And everyone I think may have different gifts.

Speaker 2: For instance, my you know, channeling. I would not have

Speaker 2: chosen that, to be honest. I was never interested in that.

Speaker 2: And I had one of the teachers that the church

Speaker 2: had his hand on my back doing a healing, you know,

Speaker 2: before this all happened, and he said, you're a trance

Speaker 2: medium and I said, oh, no, I'm not, and he

Speaker 2: said you are. You haven't done it yet, but you are.

Speaker 2: And that was terrifying. I didn't want to do anything

Speaker 2: like that, you know. So it got to the point

Speaker 2: where my spirit friends would work with me, and I

Speaker 2: told them I need to keep some control, you know.

Speaker 2: You and I spoke earlier about Edgar Casey and he

Speaker 2: would just drop completely, his consciousness completely and those in

Speaker 2: the spirit world would speak through him, and I think

Speaker 2: that's where they were going with this with me, and

Speaker 2: I had to say, I need to have awareness of

Speaker 2: what's happening. And so that's the way it unfolded for me.

Speaker 2: It was it's just my comfort place.

Speaker 1: Absolutely, are our loved ones who are on the other side,

Speaker 1: do they have an awareness of us.

Speaker 2: Absolutely, they have an awareness of us all the time,

Speaker 2: so that you know wherever they are living their lives

Speaker 2: on the other side of life. You know, like my

Speaker 2: sister when she had to go whatever, she was doing,

Speaker 2: some kind of educational thing. Wherever she was, she was

Speaker 2: still in touch. She was still keeping an eye on

Speaker 2: things here, you know, she just was There's They have

Speaker 2: different abilities than we do to see what's happening more

Speaker 2: than one thing at once.

Speaker 1: You have a spirit guide called Standing Bear. Tell us

Speaker 1: about him and the significance of your relationship.

Speaker 2: Well. Standing Bear is the very first person that I channeled,

Speaker 2: and I didn't know him. I didn't think I knew him.

Speaker 2: And he came in very early on and he said

Speaker 2: my wife, And I thought, what is this? This is

Speaker 2: like it was he had introduced himself to me. I had,

Speaker 2: you know, and I had a spirit guide I was

Speaker 2: working with closely, and then he brought Standing Bear. And

Speaker 2: it turns out, through a lot of a lot of

Speaker 2: you know, communication back and forth, I came to learn

Speaker 2: that I was his wife in a different life, in

Speaker 2: a past life, and he has maintained that identity in

Speaker 2: the spirit. So he was Standing there in that life

Speaker 2: that we spent together, and he is still standing there

Speaker 2: as a spirit, although he has been born and passed

Speaker 2: again since then, but when he's in the spirit realm,

Speaker 2: that's how he presents.

Speaker 1: Do we have soulmate animal companions.

Speaker 2: I feel that we do. I am very much an

Speaker 2: animal person and I feel that with my dogs when

Speaker 2: you know, but I don't communicate with them. I haven't

Speaker 2: had that opportunity to communicate. I know they're there on

Speaker 2: the other side waiting for us. I've heard lots of

Speaker 2: talk about the animals who were there, but they haven't

Speaker 2: directly communicated with me. I know they do with some mediums.

Speaker 1: Tell me a quick personal story. So, when my son

Speaker 1: was thirteen, he decided he wanted to have a dog,

Speaker 1: and we went out with the premise we would go

Speaker 1: to several shelters, but we may not get the dog

Speaker 1: the first time around. And we went to a couple of

Speaker 1: shelters and there was no dog that really resonated with

Speaker 1: him or with the family. And then we went to

Speaker 1: a final shelter out on Long Island, and I was

Speaker 1: parking my car and my wife and took our son

Speaker 1: into the office. And when I come into the office.

Speaker 1: To my shock and amazement, my son's laying on the

Speaker 1: floor laughing hysterically, and there's this dog on top of him,

Speaker 1: licking his face like they were old friends. And I

Speaker 1: said to him, do you want this dog? Is this dog?

Speaker 1: And he said, well, let's do a play date with them.

Speaker 1: And they would set it up outside there in a
51:42
Speaker 1: little fenced off area where you could play with the
51:44
Speaker 1: dog and see how you resonated with the dog. And

Speaker 1: we had a little family thing that we used to
51:49
Speaker 1: call and we had to make a decision. We'd have
51:50
Speaker 1: what we'd called a bug hug, where the three of
51:53
Speaker 1: us would get together snug is a bug and a rug,

Speaker 1: and we would come up with the answer to a question.

Speaker 1: And so we had a bug hug. And while we're

Speaker 1: having the bug hug, that dog got in between us

Speaker 1: and joined the bug hag. And we knew, we knew,

Speaker 1: and we knew that dog was meant to be with us,

Speaker 1: and that dog was a soul mad absolutely one hundred

Speaker 1: percent of soul.

Speaker 2: Make yeah, I completely get that. That's awesome. What a

Speaker 1: There's a wonderful fable that says, when we're born an

Speaker 1: angel or spirit guide presses our upper lip and gently says,

Speaker 1: sh don't tell them what you've learned, and that this

Speaker 1: is why we have the depression in our upper lips

Speaker 1: and a little memory of past lives. Naturally, you share

Speaker 1: that old souls remember more when we reincarnate. What's the

Speaker 1: reason for this.

Speaker 2: I think it's just closer to the surface, you know,

Speaker 2: we've when we incarnate, this soul is sort of yeah,

Speaker 2: it's it's it's almost spilling information. You know. Sometimes you'll

Speaker 1: One of the most moving concepts that you shared in

Speaker 1: before we were born is and I quote, love is

Speaker 1: will ever be. How may we remember this when we

Speaker 1: reincarnate into a world that surely needs that love?

Speaker 2: Well, we all, you know, we're all little individual pieces

Speaker 2: of this great source of God or however you want

Speaker 2: to refer to it. You know, infinite spirit. We are

Speaker 2: all that. We are all carrying that. And you know

Speaker 2: everything that you see in this life, your dogs, you know,

Speaker 2: the trees, that everything is a part of. It's all

Speaker 2: that is, and how you can remember it that's going

Speaker 2: to be your own individual path. I think that's what
