- 0:00SPEAKER_44: I have not had more.
- 0:01SPEAKER_11: Okay, let's go.
- 0:02SPEAKER_11: Third rate, off-brand, bright art, Minnesotan MAGA media.
- 0:08SPEAKER_44: I have not had more than just a couple of hours of free time every single uh day uh this week.
- 0:16SPEAKER_44: Yeah, right.
- 0:17SPEAKER_44: This is uh the world's smallest violin playing my heart bleeds for for John Justice.
- 0:22SPEAKER_44: So I figured we start a little early.
- 0:24SPEAKER_44: And you know what?
- 0:25SPEAKER_44: We'll officially get into all the good stuff, and we've got so much good stuff to talk about uh today on the show.
- 0:32SPEAKER_44: So uh since we're uh since we're on the on the stream a little bit early, we'll wait to get into uh all of that.
- 0:38SPEAKER_44: But I did uh Laura Ingram's show last night, and uh first off, the I mentioned this before, the studio that I used to go to downtown in Compass, this is where everybody went to.
- 0:50SPEAKER_44: They it closed.
- 0:51SPEAKER_44: It's the strangest thing.
- 0:52SPEAKER_44: I mentioned this the other day when last time I was on with Laura Ingram, but they closed down.
- 0:56SPEAKER_44: So, you know, now I'm just doing all these hits from home, but my office isn't like really conducive.
- 1:02SPEAKER_44: Like Newsmax and News Nation, like they're all fine with my bedroomslash office because of the hours that I keep.
- 1:09SPEAKER_44: Fox News is a they're they're a little bit more, they were sticklers, they want a better shot, and I completely understand that.
- 1:15SPEAKER_44: So we ended up getting like a black, one of those folding dividers, you know, room dividers.
- 1:19SPEAKER_44: Was it nearly wide enough?
- 1:21SPEAKER_44: So I got it behind me to block the bed in the pub in the in the shot, and it still had these blank spaces on the on the left and right.
- 1:30SPEAKER_44: So finally we ended up um moving it over just to block the bed.
- 1:34SPEAKER_44: So we got it, we got a decent shot that way.
- 1:36SPEAKER_44: But I had like two different phone calls with the producers prior to the hit, which typically doesn't happen, and it looks like it was supposed to be a longer hit than it usually is.
- 1:46SPEAKER_44: Uh, because we were gonna go over Ilhan Omar, uh, we were uh going to talk about Peggy Flanagan, all the confusion yesterday.
- 1:53SPEAKER_44: I'll get you all up to speed on this.
- 1:54SPEAKER_44: Uh, and then the Hassan Piker nonsense of him coming to town.
- 1:58SPEAKER_44: Uh, and I was on with another uh commentator, Katie Miller.
- 2:02SPEAKER_44: So it was you know poised to be this long segment.
- 2:05SPEAKER_44: And I've I never talk on the phone with them prior to these hits of the producers.
- 2:09SPEAKER_44: Really fantastic people, though.
- 2:11SPEAKER_44: One of the guys is like a long time listener of mine, going back to like my rock radio days for crying out loud.
- 2:17SPEAKER_44: But um when we I I'm waiting, so I got on early on the stream, right?
- 2:23SPEAKER_44: Took it all afternoon.
- 2:24SPEAKER_44: It was all afternoon setting up the shot in my bedroom, the whole nine yards.
- 2:27SPEAKER_44: Um, and then I also, and part of this is my fault, by the way, because I have a brand new parody I'm gonna share with you here in just a moment when we kick the show off.
- 2:35SPEAKER_44: But uh I get on early and Laura has Mark Wayne Mullen on the show prior to when when I'm on with Katie Miller, and he went long, and I'm like, there goes the there goes the segment.
- 2:48SPEAKER_44: I go, they're totally behind in time now.
- 2:50SPEAKER_44: There's no way I'm getting more than one comment in on this, and sure enough, that's exactly what that's exactly what happened.
- 2:58SPEAKER_44: And then just as another, since we're starting early here, I gotta hit the intro here in just a second.
- 3:03SPEAKER_44: But um on the drive in this morning, I know I've talked about this a lot.
- 3:06SPEAKER_44: I'm on 100.
- 3:08SPEAKER_44: And just before you reach St.
- 3:11SPEAKER_44: Louis Park there at the interchange, you know, where the rate, where the where the where iHeart's radio station is.
- 3:16SPEAKER_44: Um, I'm not kidding.
- 3:18SPEAKER_44: I'm I'm looking at my rear view mirror.
- 3:20SPEAKER_44: I have Monty's cruise control set at 68.
- 3:24SPEAKER_44: I happen to glance up out of nowhere there's a set of headlights.
- 3:28SPEAKER_44: This dude, this was literally this guy past me.
- 3:34SPEAKER_44: It's the fastest that anybody on a highway has ever blown past me.
- 3:38SPEAKER_44: It was like I'm not kidding, it was like I was standing still.
- 3:41SPEAKER_44: You know when you're on 100 right before you get to the interchange and there's a slight turn to the left before it goes around where the where the where the two towers are at, where uh iHeart's building is.
- 3:51SPEAKER_44: Like he flew past me, I saw him, and he was gone around the corner like within a second.
- 3:57SPEAKER_44: I couldn't and it was like a newish Chevy Malibu.
- 4:01SPEAKER_44: It was going so fast that even the slightest little dips in the highway, you could see the the shocks just expanding as I mean I how he was keeping control of the car is absolutely beyond me.
- 4:15SPEAKER_44: I just was like, man, just what what a world that we live in.
- 4:22SPEAKER_44: Hey, uh thanks.
- 4:23SPEAKER_44: I uh very much uh appreciate that.
- 4:25SPEAKER_44: Let's go ahead and get things underway.
- 4:28SPEAKER_44: Who wants to hear some new music?
- 4:30SPEAKER_44: You want to hear some new music?
- 4:31SPEAKER_44: All right.
- 4:31SPEAKER_44: First off, um, let's do this.
- 4:33SPEAKER_00: No, I mean, and I I I I listen.
- 4:37SPEAKER_69: Suggest all you want.
- 4:39SPEAKER_69: Please investigate all you want, right?
- 4:41SPEAKER_69: Like to me, I'm not, I'm not, like, I'm above the law.
- 4:45SPEAKER_69: Thank you so much again.
- 4:46SPEAKER_69: Uh, and please continue to support us.
- 4:49SPEAKER_69: It is going to be um a very expensive and challenging uh time.
- 4:54SPEAKER_69: Uh, and so we appreciate whether you're able to send five, ten, twenty.
- 4:58SPEAKER_69: Thank you.
- 4:59SPEAKER_44: It's the John Justice Show presented by American Experiment.
- 5:03SPEAKER_44: Welcome to Thursday's show.
- 5:11SPEAKER_47: Hi, everyone Ilhan here.
- 5:14SPEAKER_47: I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support.
- 5:20SPEAKER_47: To everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars, it goes a long way.
- 5:26SPEAKER_47: As we fight Trump and his administration.
- 5:32SPEAKER_47: I hope I can stay in the old skin of committees with the last two means goodbye in Ilhan's native land, and an end of her activism is close at hand.
- 7:14SPEAKER_47: Did she marry her brother?
- 7:17SPEAKER_47: That remains to be seen.
- 7:19SPEAKER_47: But as wine runs dry, it's time to come clean.
- 7:24SPEAKER_47: She's got the ill hand blues and bags to be packed.
- 7:30SPEAKER_47: If she faked her citizenship, she may never come back.
- 7:37SPEAKER_47: Hi everyone, Elan here.
- 7:40SPEAKER_47: I just wanted to say for everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars, it goes a long way.
- 7:49SPEAKER_47: As we fight Trump and his administration.
- 7:55SPEAKER_49: I hope I can stay.
- 8:14SPEAKER_47: Hostia.
- 8:17SPEAKER_64: I watched the hostage video that you talked about that Eliana Omar put out plainly yesterday, and um I didn't think that I didn't feel bad for her at all.
- 8:27SPEAKER_64: She still seemed arrogant.
- 8:28SPEAKER_64: I don't care that she was propped up in a back seat.
- 8:30SPEAKER_64: She never loses that.
- 8:32SPEAKER_44: Have a great day.justice at AmericanExperiment.org.
- 9:11SPEAKER_44: Holy cow, we got a lot of ground to cover today.
- 9:13SPEAKER_44: I have so much audio on the show, it's unbelievable.
- 9:16SPEAKER_44: So Ilhan Omar uh makes her, does her hostage video, as you heard from the friend of the show there just a uh moment ago.
- 9:24SPEAKER_44: And then she shows up on MSNBC last night with one of the most ridiculous interviews that I have seen in a long, long time with Chris Hayes over at MS Now.
- 9:41SPEAKER_44: I the way that he coached her through this interview, and we'll get into all of it coming up later in the show, uh it was a lacking professionalism is an understatement.
- 9:52SPEAKER_44: It would have been one thing if this dude was hosting a show like this one.
- 9:57SPEAKER_44: Or, you know, he was a podcaster, but no, he's conducting what is supposed to be a legitimate interview with a sitting member of Congress who is now the lead story across the country because of the legitimate questions surrounding whether or not she went and faked her citizenship.
- 10:14SPEAKER_44: And he like walks her through all of this, not taking any of the legitimate questions that he's asking seriously.
- 10:23SPEAKER_44: So I'll share with you the majority of that audio coming up in the seven o'clock hour.
- 10:27SPEAKER_44: I do want to play one or two clips from yesterday as a bit of a preview.
- 10:33SPEAKER_44: Also on the show today, bizarro Peggy Flanagan chaos.
- 10:37SPEAKER_44: It's as if the Democrats right now, like while waiting for Republicans to put forward an October surprise to attempt to distract voters that they got tired of waiting, the DFL did, and decided, you know what, we'll just launch our own October surprises against ourselves.
- 10:57SPEAKER_44: Completely forced errors.
- 10:59SPEAKER_44: You have this issue of whether or not Peggy Flanagan actually attended one particular fraternity, and in that you had a Wall Street Journal report says she's lied about her attendance.
- 11:13SPEAKER_44: You had Peggy Flanagan's campaign saying, Oh, it was just a misunderstanding, and then you have the university itself coming out and saying, No, she was a member in good standing.
- 11:21SPEAKER_44: I just it's an Abbott and Costello routine gonerai.
- 11:26SPEAKER_44: So we'll get into that later on in the show.
- 11:28SPEAKER_44: Uh there was a debate last night for Amy Klobuchar and uh Lisa Damath.
- 11:32SPEAKER_44: If you missed it, um congratulations.
- 11:35SPEAKER_44: I kind of wished I hadn't watched it.
- 11:38SPEAKER_44: It was not good for either of them, to be honest.
- 11:41SPEAKER_44: I I'll share with you some audio coming up.
- 11:44SPEAKER_44: This is their last debate, and I have to imagine that both the Damath and the Klobuchar team are going, yeah, maybe we should really think rethink joint debates of the future.
- 11:53SPEAKER_44: I mean, it should have been a walk- the walk-off home run's the that's the right statement, right, Devin?
- 11:57SPEAKER_44: Walk off walk-off home run.
- 11:59SPEAKER_44: Is that out of that I'm getting it right?
- 12:00SPEAKER_44: Yep.
- 12:01SPEAKER_44: Okay.
- 12:01SPEAKER_44: So it should have been a walk-off home run for Amy Klobuchar.
- 12:04SPEAKER_44: And yet, the whole time when you're watching her, you're wondering why is she shaking?
- 12:11SPEAKER_44: Like she's sitting on one of those coin operated horses outside of the grocery store back in the 80s.
- 12:17SPEAKER_44: She's just or like a coin operated, you know, sh vibrating bed in a cheap motel, just shaking like leaf.
- 12:25SPEAKER_44: It was so strange.
- 12:26SPEAKER_44: Came off as very angry.
- 12:27SPEAKER_44: And then Lisa Damath just kind of looked like she was really nervous.
- 12:34SPEAKER_44: Okay, had some really bizarre deer in the headlights moments.
- 12:37SPEAKER_44: I mean, content-wise, Damath was the on point.
- 12:40SPEAKER_44: Um, you know, and Amy Klobuchar, because she is a seasoned vet, had plenty of comebacks for what he was what she was saying.
- 12:47SPEAKER_44: It's just if you get into the details and actually do the research on whether or not she's going to fulfill all these pie in the sky dreams and the commentary regarding the raising of taxes and tackling fraud that push back directly against what the DFL would do if they got another trifecta, it calls into question all of that commentary.
- 13:06SPEAKER_44: But either way, you know, I think the only thing that really saved Amoth yesterday was the fact that Amy Klobinchar just kind of seemed a bit off her game.
- 13:13SPEAKER_44: Also in the eight o'clock hour, Becca Thompson.
- 13:16SPEAKER_44: If uh Minneapolis had a had a Batman or a Batwoman, I think it would be Becca Thompson, she'll be joining us uh sitting on the comfy soap uh sofa here in the uh Center of the American Experiment Studios.
- 13:28SPEAKER_44: We do have a couple of things that we'll be talking about with her, by the way.
- 13:30SPEAKER_44: Uh there's an update on the sex trafficking that's been going on.
- 13:35SPEAKER_44: Speaking of cheap hotels in uh in Brooklyn Center.
- 13:39SPEAKER_44: Also, I mentioned how I'd seen some data that 40% of 911 operators in Minneapolis are now on paid family medical leave.
- 13:50SPEAKER_44: Well, there's a story this morning by Dina Winter in the Star Tribune that's really interesting given that I haven't been able to substantiate that claim.
- 13:57SPEAKER_44: Minneapolis mental health crisis response program thrown into chaos.
- 14:01SPEAKER_44: The program that sends unarmed mental health professionals to some 911 calls, a key post-George Floyd reform, is in limbo after the city rejected a new vendor to do the work.
- 14:12SPEAKER_44: And I'm curious if whether or not there is some sort of connection uh between that data point of paid family medical leave and individuals serving in the 911 call center.
- 14:28SPEAKER_44: So we'll get into that and a lot more with uh Becca Thompson.
- 14:31SPEAKER_44: If you're not following her on X, you are doing yourself a disservice.
- 14:35SPEAKER_44: So uh quick point on on uh on Ilhan Omar, because we're gonna dive into this fully, like I said, coming up after 7 o'clock this morning.
- 14:43SPEAKER_44: But this is the clip that's gone viral.
- 14:45SPEAKER_44: This interview, by the way, not only was it ridiculous for MS Now, but Ilhan Omar's response in all of this, and I have a theory of where all this is going, by the way.
- 14:55SPEAKER_44: I won't make you wait until 7.
- 14:56SPEAKER_44: I'll share it with you early and give you a little present.
- 14:59SPEAKER_44: Because I think I know where all this is going right now.
- 15:01SPEAKER_44: I don't know what's going to happen in terms of the allegations and any indictments, but I do believe I know now the angle that Ilhan Omar is going to take, given the latest revelations.
- 15:12SPEAKER_44: Now, she says that she's going to be moving out of her Washington, D.C.
- 15:16SPEAKER_44: home that the feds as searched last week.
- 15:20SPEAKER_44: Noting that the attention brought on by the raid made her feel unsafe there.
- 15:24SPEAKER_44: No, she's coming back to friendlier territory.
- 15:26SPEAKER_44: She's here in Minneapolis right now.
- 15:29SPEAKER_44: Suddenly I'm seeing campaign ads online.
- 15:32SPEAKER_44: She is going to now dumb herself down as just the the victimized candidate for Congress.
- 15:41SPEAKER_44: She's going to drop all of the boisterous confidence activism that we are so accustomed to.
- 15:50SPEAKER_44: Which puts me in a position to not have any sympathy for her whatsoever.
- 15:54SPEAKER_44: She's going to drop all of that.
- 15:56SPEAKER_44: And she's going to play the victim now.
- 15:59SPEAKER_44: She's going to be like, I'm just a candidate, just trying to serve my people.
- 16:02SPEAKER_44: So she's now here, back on the ground in Minneapolis, and she's not leaving because she feels unsafe in DC.
- 16:09SPEAKER_44: No.
- 16:09SPEAKER_44: This is incredibly friendly territory.
- 16:13SPEAKER_44: Politics, media, community, all of it.
- 16:15SPEAKER_44: That's why she's here.
- 16:17SPEAKER_44: But this is the moment that sparked the this is the clip that you're seeing most online.
- 16:25SPEAKER_44: Getting into her uh controversy regarding marrying her brother, which took a bizarre term yesterday.
- 16:36SPEAKER_44: She basically well, let me go.
- 16:37SPEAKER_44: I'll just go ahead and play it for you.
- 16:38SPEAKER_44: Here you go.
- 16:39SPEAKER_53: Who was this man that was your husband?
- 16:41SPEAKER_53: When did they start saying that he was your brother?
- 16:43SPEAKER_53: Why?
- 16:45SPEAKER_69: It started with the Somali blog.
- 16:48SPEAKER_69: Um uh that I don't know if it still exists, but somebody put in there that, you know, that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect.
- 16:57SPEAKER_69: And um right-wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis got a hold of it, and they just kind of went and like found random people who are like, she introduced us.
- 17:09SPEAKER_69: Uh, you know, she introduced him to us and said he was her brother.
- 17:13SPEAKER_69: Um, which is, you know, insane.
- 17:16SPEAKER_69: I mean, I don't I don't know those people that they talk about.
- 17:20SPEAKER_69: He was not you were not related to him at all.
- 17:22SPEAKER_65: Not that at all.
- 17:24SPEAKER_55: There's not some weird kernel of truth that through some game of the bigger.
- 17:26SPEAKER_65: Not to my knowledge.
- 17:27SPEAKER_55: That was the big gotcha, right?
- 17:29SPEAKER_55: In terms of what you're talking about promising.
- 17:30SPEAKER_55: Like we're gonna nail her on the marriage.
- 17:33SPEAKER_55: Yeah.
- 17:35SPEAKER_44: She's asked if she married her brother, and she said, not to my knowledge.
- 17:42SPEAKER_44: Huh?
- 17:45SPEAKER_44: Okay, so okay.
- 17:52SPEAKER_44: President Donald Trump uh responded to uh Ilhan Omar's uh remarks.
- 17:57SPEAKER_44: He was asked while uh hopping on board, I believe he was getting on Air Force One doing some traveling.
- 18:03SPEAKER_09: Ilhana Omar had a very shocking response to reporters today when they asked her uh if she was married to her brother.
- 18:10SPEAKER_09: Do you know what you wanted what she said?
- 18:11SPEAKER_09: She said, not to my knowledge.
- 18:13SPEAKER_14: Yeah, well, not to my knowledge.
- 18:15SPEAKER_14: That's not a good answer.
- 18:16SPEAKER_14: That's an answer that a lot of us assume.
- 18:18SPEAKER_14: Go ahead.
- 18:21SPEAKER_44: So again, I don't want to bury the lead on this.
- 18:24SPEAKER_44: I have one more quick clip from Ilhan.
- 18:26SPEAKER_44: Uh, this was uh her standing outside with the MS.
- 18:29SPEAKER_44: It is Chris Hayes, right?
- 18:30SPEAKER_44: Am I getting that right?
- 18:31SPEAKER_44: I'm I'm fairly sure.
- 18:32SPEAKER_44: I I feel like I'm I feel like I'm not getting it getting his name right.
- 18:36SPEAKER_44: I'll double check that.
- 18:38SPEAKER_44: Um but she's standing uh outside, they're doing an outside shot.
- 18:42SPEAKER_44: She's got her cup of coffee, looking all relaxed, talking with the MS now host about how she's the victim.
- 18:47SPEAKER_44: So and again, we'll dive into this in much more um in much more detail.
- 18:54SPEAKER_44: Again, coming up after after 7 o'clock.
- 18:57SPEAKER_44: This is what's gonna happen.
- 18:58SPEAKER_44: You see, the affidavit was released by the DC judge yesterday detailing what it was, what was in the affidavit for the most part.
- 19:09SPEAKER_44: It turns out that it looks as if the federal government, and I know I've known about this for since earlier in the week, but I was waiting until we got some official reporting and now we have it.
- 19:18SPEAKER_44: The the federal government is making the case that she essentially is not who she says she is, that she is not the daughter of the man who may have been the catalyst to her getting citizenship in the United States.
- 19:37SPEAKER_44: So the claim had always been that if she came over here with her father, she was 17, and then was naturalized as a citizen through her father.
- 19:45SPEAKER_44: And then there was controversy around whether or not her father was ever properly naturalized as a citizen.
- 19:52SPEAKER_44: And there's no document, those documents are gone.
- 19:54SPEAKER_44: They're not they're non-existent, despite what Ilhan Omar says in the interview.
- 19:58SPEAKER_44: But now what we're hearing is that she may have been the daughter of somebody else entirely, could have even been the dictator of whom her father was a colonel of in the army, meaning there's no way she ever could have become a citizen because she wasn't biologically related to the man that she called her father.
- 20:16SPEAKER_44: So this is what's gonna happen.
- 20:18SPEAKER_44: If that is the case that the federal government is building, she is going to claim ignorance.
- 20:23SPEAKER_44: She's gonna say, I didn't I didn't know.
- 20:25SPEAKER_44: I really thought he was my dad.
- 20:27SPEAKER_44: That's why you're getting the not to my knowledge.
- 20:30SPEAKER_44: When you hear all the audio that we play after seven o'clock, you'll hear she's playing this, she's playing the whole thing just dumb.
- 20:38SPEAKER_44: I don't know why they're doing this.
- 20:39SPEAKER_44: I was all confused.
- 20:40SPEAKER_44: I don't get it.
- 20:41SPEAKER_44: I it just it doesn't make any sense to me why they came in and raided my home.
- 20:45SPEAKER_44: Did you marry your brother?
- 20:46SPEAKER_44: Not to my knowledge.
- 20:48SPEAKER_44: No, she's gonna claim if the federal government can prove that she is indeed not biologically related to her siblings, which is why they needed the DNA, which also means that if she did marry her brother, it wasn't really her brother.
- 21:03SPEAKER_44: Because she wasn't biologically related to him.
- 21:06SPEAKER_44: And so now suddenly she's playing this.
- 21:08SPEAKER_44: Well, I don't, you know, not to my knowledge, I wasn't married to my brother.
- 21:11SPEAKER_44: That's what's gonna happen.
- 21:12SPEAKER_44: I just I guarantee it, if that's the case that the that the the that the Trump administration and the federal authorities are gonna make, is that she's been living under a fake identity here in the United States this entire time and as a sitting member of Congress, she's gonna claim she had no idea.
- 21:27SPEAKER_44: And she's gonna spin it around and say, You should feel sorry for me, because I had no idea.
- 21:31SPEAKER_44: How hard is it?
- 21:32SPEAKER_44: I don't know who my father is.
- 21:33SPEAKER_44: I just just wait, it's all coming.
- 21:35SPEAKER_44: It's all coming.
- 21:37SPEAKER_68: To intimidate us, to stop the base of the Democrats.
- 21:43SPEAKER_69: Um, to feel like, okay, if I am an immigrant myself, a naturalized citizen.
- 21:50SPEAKER_69: Yes.
- 21:50SPEAKER_69: Um, or I come from an immigrant heritage, right?
- 21:54SPEAKER_69: Like I could be a person that people might think I'm undocumented, then I better stay home.
- 22:00SPEAKER_69: Um, and you know, as I said earlier, almost every indication um when it comes to voting, early voting, that we're getting is that it's up and up and up.
- 22:11SPEAKER_69: Uh, that people are furious, people understand what they're trying to do, and no one here in Minnesota is going to allow them to intimidate us.
- 22:20SPEAKER_44: That's right.
- 22:21SPEAKER_44: Not going to allow them to intimidate us.
- 22:25SPEAKER_44: Holy cow.
- 22:27SPEAKER_44: 651-964-0294 here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 22:35SPEAKER_44: Let's get to uh a few of your thoughts from the uh blaster line this morning, and we'll hear from friend of the show, Rich.
- 22:42SPEAKER_40: Good morning, John Rich here.
- 22:43SPEAKER_40: As far as Omar and how I'm concerned with her, is she is so ungrateful.
- 22:48SPEAKER_40: You come from a war-torn state, country, and you're so disrespectful.
- 22:54SPEAKER_40: You hate America.
- 22:55SPEAKER_40: Why did you come here?
- 22:57SPEAKER_40: You're ungracious, and just leave.
- 23:00SPEAKER_40: But the fact is, is it's been ten days since the search warrant, and the search warrant affidavit sealed and filed with the court.
- 23:09SPEAKER_40: So they sealed it, and I don't think it's the federal government that sealed it.
- 23:13SPEAKER_40: Probably at the request of her attorney.
- 23:15SPEAKER_40: So what isn't she just tell the truth for us?
- 23:19SPEAKER_44: Well, the affidavit was released yesterday.
- 23:21SPEAKER_44: That's how we got the the the the latest uh the latest information.
- 23:25SPEAKER_26: So I'm listening to that.
- 23:29SPEAKER_26: You'll have an Omar clip.
- 23:31SPEAKER_26: What a swarmy answer from a swarmy individual, which probably was given to her by a swarming attorney.
- 23:39SPEAKER_26: Oh my goodness.
- 23:41SPEAKER_26: Get rid of her.
- 23:42SPEAKER_26: Have a good day.
- 23:43SPEAKER_26: Bye.
- 23:48SPEAKER_44: Going with three and a half in the ScottCon level.
- 23:57SPEAKER_44: It's early.
- 23:58SPEAKER_35: Remind me of the definition of easy.
- 24:14SPEAKER_35: No.
- 24:15SPEAKER_35: The woman is a calculating criminal, and I hope, and I pray that she gets taken down to be an example of what you need to do in the United States to get into a position of political power.
- 24:32SPEAKER_44: Thank you, Scott.
- 24:33SPEAKER_44: Always uh fantastic to uh hear from you.
- 24:40SPEAKER_37: Her father would be still thinking that she's gonna pivot more on whether her dad was even entitled to citizenship and whether it existed.
- 24:59SPEAKER_37: But this whole new angle that I didn't know he was my father.
- 25:03SPEAKER_37: First of all, this isn't Star Wars.
- 25:05SPEAKER_37: Second of all, I'm sorry.
- 25:06SPEAKER_37: She came here when she's 12 years old.
- 25:08SPEAKER_37: Twelve years old, you're no you're old enough to know if your father all of a sudden changed into somebody else, for God's sake.
- 25:15SPEAKER_44: Yeah, I don't think there's a qu listen, I I I don't I won't buy into this excuse at all.
- 25:19SPEAKER_44: The reason why we now believe the federal government is looking at her not being who she says she is, is because on the affidavit it lists two names.
- 25:30SPEAKER_44: It lists a name completely different than the one that she uses now.
- 25:34SPEAKER_44: So it has the one name, and I'll share all this with you when I get the I don't have it at the top of my stack right now.
- 25:38SPEAKER_44: So it shares one name that would be associated with somebody completely different, a different family.
- 25:42SPEAKER_44: And then it's also known known as, and then it gets into her Ilhan Omar name.
- 25:47SPEAKER_44: So the thought is that, okay, this is what they're looking at.
- 25:49SPEAKER_44: She's not who she says she was.
- 25:51SPEAKER_44: And I don't believe, and I'm I'm with the friend of the show, I don't believe for a second that she wouldn't have been fully aware of this.
- 25:59SPEAKER_44: But this is the card that she's gonna end up playing.
- 26:01SPEAKER_44: It's gonna be that victimization card.
- 26:02SPEAKER_44: All right, we'll get back to more of your thoughts here in a moment.
- 26:04SPEAKER_44: We got a lot of ground to cover today.
- 26:06SPEAKER_44: Uh, there's a couple of uh items that I want to get into of importance.
- 26:10SPEAKER_44: We'll talk uh about the debate from last night.
- 26:12SPEAKER_44: I'll share a couple of audio clips.
- 26:14SPEAKER_44: We have some thoughts from you as well, and then we'll get fully just after seven o'clock into what's going on uh with uh Ilhan Omar and that interview.
- 26:23SPEAKER_44: I got a ton of clips.
- 26:24SPEAKER_44: They're amazing, they're they're they're they're really amazing clips from this interview with Ilhan Omar from uh yesterday.
- 26:31SPEAKER_44: And remember, guys, please um do me a favor.
- 26:33SPEAKER_44: If you left a comment and I played it, um you can leave another one, but I'm trying to keep it to one per person.
- 26:39SPEAKER_44: We've had so many comments coming in to the blaster line that if you've got your comment uh on the air, if you could do me a favor and just hold back a bit, I would greatly I greatly appreciate it.
- 26:48SPEAKER_44: I know you guys have uh a lot to say.
- 26:51SPEAKER_44: Uh just a quick hit on this one.
- 26:53SPEAKER_44: I haven't talked about it yet, but have you heard about this metallic space object that was discovered in western Minnesota in a cornfield?
- 27:02SPEAKER_44: Yeah, so this is from the New York Post.
- 27:04SPEAKER_44: It was covered locally.
- 27:05SPEAKER_44: This was a massive 11-foot piece of space junk that was discovered just outside Scott Township.
- 27:10SPEAKER_44: A local farmer was out harvesting corn around 3 30.
- 27:13SPEAKER_44: Sounds like the beginning of a horror movie.
- 27:16SPEAKER_44: According to the Stevens County Sheriff's Office.
- 27:19SPEAKER_44: In the farmer's estimation, the cosmic debris sat in the field for at least six weeks before being discovered based on the size of the corn that was growing underneath it.
- 27:30SPEAKER_44: Was the corn glowing?
- 27:33SPEAKER_44: Don't eat the corn.
- 27:36SPEAKER_44: Local authorities identify the oversized object as doing nothing with my fingers, presumably a space object, according to a local outlet, complete with serial numbers that could potentially lead to its owner.
- 27:48SPEAKER_44: Federal, state, uh, and state agents are currently working together to find the metal heap's owner and pull it out of the cornfield.
- 27:54SPEAKER_44: But yeah, there were like black SUVs that showed up around this thing last week.
- 27:58SPEAKER_44: I saw the photographs, but apparently it's just still sitting out there.
- 28:03SPEAKER_44: Doesn't look like anything that Elon would have made either.
- 28:05SPEAKER_44: That's kind of my first thing.
- 28:06SPEAKER_44: Elon's stuff is pretty square.
- 28:08SPEAKER_44: This looks like rounded.
- 28:09SPEAKER_44: I don't know what I have I have no idea what it is, but I wanted to share it with you in case this ends up turning into some sort of you know radioactive biological catastrophe or something.
- 28:22SPEAKER_44: You know what?
- 28:23SPEAKER_44: It's early, and I'll just I'll just I'll just gonna go ahead and go ahead and see.
- 28:27SPEAKER_44: Yeah, I'm sorry.
- 28:28SPEAKER_44: Brandon Cottage Grove, bail me out.
- 28:31SPEAKER_73: Hey John, Brandon Cottage Grove.
- 28:33SPEAKER_73: Although I am using the mini leaf triple diamond pain dream and it's working great.
- 28:40SPEAKER_73: I do blame Operation Metro Surge for my lack of sleep last night and the fact that I did not utilize the mini leaf tight gummies of Metro Surge.
- 28:53SPEAKER_73: Have a wonderful Thursday show.
- 28:56SPEAKER_73: I will catch up afterwards.
- 28:58SPEAKER_44: Thank you, uh Brandon.
- 28:59SPEAKER_44: I greatly appreciate it.
- 29:00SPEAKER_44: As a matter of fact, I had several people that left their own um comments on what they're blaming Metro Surge on.
- 29:06SPEAKER_44: Uh, Hillary can add Metro Surge to her long list of reasons why she lost to Trump.
- 29:12SPEAKER_44: It's pretty good.
- 29:13SPEAKER_44: Came in overnight.
- 29:14SPEAKER_44: Friend of the show, DJ from St.
- 29:16SPEAKER_44: Michael.
- 29:16SPEAKER_44: I blame Metro Surge for my semi-incoherent blasts about Tefoya at midnight multiple times.
- 29:26SPEAKER_44: This one rolled in.
- 29:27SPEAKER_44: OMG, the Ilham Blues song is so unbelievably good rocking out.
- 29:32SPEAKER_44: I like the new song.
- 29:33SPEAKER_44: Yeah, I do too.
- 29:34SPEAKER_44: Came out a uh lot better than I uh had expected.
- 29:37SPEAKER_44: Chris, formerly of New Brighton, now in the uh freezer state of Tennessee.
- 29:43SPEAKER_44: That was one that new one is a banger.
- 29:46SPEAKER_44: Well done.
- 29:46SPEAKER_44: Thank you very much.
- 29:47SPEAKER_44: I'll take a bow on that.
- 29:48SPEAKER_44: You know who else uh should take a bow?
- 29:51SPEAKER_44: Uh that's Tad Jude.
- 29:52SPEAKER_44: I have some audio I'm gonna play of his in just a moment, and then we'll hear from some amazing sponsors on our show, and then dive into why I have the uh the quintessential example of why you cannot trust any of the polls right now.
- 30:06SPEAKER_44: Definitive reason why you can't trust any of the polls right now.
- 30:10SPEAKER_44: Before I uh play that for you, though, and let you know that information, just like Brandon in Cottage Grove, I just want to remind you M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 30:22SPEAKER_44: That's the website for mini leaf.
- 30:23SPEAKER_44: You can find all of the amazing products there on the website, the night sleep gummies, the spooky mini leaf tonics that are great for Halloween parties.
- 30:30SPEAKER_44: They're spooky because there's no booze.
- 30:32SPEAKER_44: But you can still chill out.
- 30:34SPEAKER_44: Got to be 21 or older.
- 30:35SPEAKER_44: The fun gummies and the chocolates as well.
- 30:39SPEAKER_44: Head on over to M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F.com.
- 30:42SPEAKER_44: You'll taste happy there at the website.
- 30:44SPEAKER_44: Or if you're in St.
- 30:45SPEAKER_44: Paul, you can go to Scott's Liquor on St.
- 30:47SPEAKER_44: Clair Avenue.
- 30:48SPEAKER_44: Also in St.
- 30:48SPEAKER_44: Paul, also on Scott Clare Avenue.
- 30:51SPEAKER_44: Uh, you have uh Flowers Cannabis Boutique, uh Minneapolis, Ken and Norm's Liquor on Chicago Avenue, and then in Bloomington, West Old Shacopee Road, uh, MGM in Bloomington.
- 31:03SPEAKER_44: Although I need to double check the address on one of these, because it looks like the uh Flowers Cannabis Boutique and Scott's liquor, those addresses were transposed.
- 31:11SPEAKER_44: Either way, those locations, you can go and uh physically get your mini leaf uh products.
- 31:17SPEAKER_44: And of course, at the website as well, M-I-N-N-E-L-E-A-F uh.com.
- 31:22SPEAKER_44: That's minileaf.com.
- 31:24SPEAKER_44: Taste happy at minileaf.com.
- 31:25SPEAKER_07: This is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools board.
- 31:31SPEAKER_07: I'd like to thank John's listeners for their generosity.
- 31:34SPEAKER_07: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 31:40SPEAKER_07: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Test Scores for Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 31:46SPEAKER_07: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in science.
- 31:59SPEAKER_07: So, how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 32:04SPEAKER_07: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers and everything to do with a lack of school board and administrative accountability.
- 32:12SPEAKER_07: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 32:16SPEAKER_07: Go to the blog section of my website, reelectjoeescott.com and eccsmcascores.com.
- 32:23SPEAKER_07: The staff was paid for by Reelect Joe Scott.
- 32:26SPEAKER_44: If a woman finds out she is pregnant and feels scared and alone, Alpha Women's Center offers her help and hope to choose life.
- 32:34SPEAKER_44: Alpha Women's Center is a pro-life Christian mobile clinic that serves women like Tita, who left her abortion appointment and chose life for her twins after seeing her ultrasound.
- 32:44SPEAKER_44: With free counseling, diapers, and resources, she's continuing her education and building a stronger family.
- 32:50SPEAKER_44: Alpha Women's Center is donor supported and serves five Twin Cities locations, including outside abortion clinics.
- 32:58SPEAKER_44: For more information, go to MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 33:02SPEAKER_44: That's MiracleMachineMN.com.
- 33:06SPEAKER_44: So if you've been online, especially on X, uh, over the course of the death uh of the past day or so, uh, you probably have seen uh people that have been commenting on the Tad Jude ad that dropped, uh talking about how great it is, right?
- 33:25SPEAKER_44: And I saw a lot of comments on this, and like I mentioned before the show started, we started things a little bit earlier this uh this morning on the show.
- 33:32SPEAKER_44: So if you want to uh see those comments for the first few minutes, check out the replay on uh Facebook and uh uh YouTube.
- 33:39SPEAKER_44: Also Rumble, the Center of the American Experiment.
- 33:42SPEAKER_44: So I didn't get a chance to during the day to to watch it.
- 33:45SPEAKER_44: After my hit on Fox News last night with Laura Ingram, uh I finally did before going to bed.
- 33:51SPEAKER_44: And those commenting on the quality of the Tad Jude spot were absolutely not wrong.
- 34:00SPEAKER_44: Now I'm gonna play the audio at the end of the show for the live stream.
- 34:03SPEAKER_44: I'll play it in its entirety.
- 34:05SPEAKER_44: This is not about supporting Tad Jude in his uh in his campaign uh for Secretary of State.
- 34:13SPEAKER_44: Uh this is more about what whoever put this together for Tad Jude.
- 34:19SPEAKER_44: I posted online that I would be up for taking all the tourism dollars that we currently spend to try to encourage people to come to Minnesota.
- 34:30SPEAKER_44: Take all the money away from whatever efforts the tourism board here in the state is using and give it all to the guy who created this ad for Tad Jude.
- 34:40SPEAKER_44: I mean, this isn't even this is not even like a campaign ad.
- 34:43SPEAKER_44: This is more of uh an ad demonstrating why so many people have chosen not to leave this state.
- 34:53SPEAKER_44: Why so many people love this state.
- 34:56SPEAKER_44: Uh uh just it's it's stun it's absolutely stunning.
- 34:58SPEAKER_44: Here's the audio uh here on the John Justice show presented by American Experiment.
- 35:03SPEAKER_04: Minnesota.
- 35:05SPEAKER_04: We're still here.
- 35:09SPEAKER_04: We never left.
- 35:12SPEAKER_04: We're still in the diners that open at five in the morning, still in the churches that have stood since past generations built them, still on the docks, still in the fields, still in our favorite biking and walking past, still in the factories, still in our police precincts, still in the courtrooms, still on the ice, still in the iron in the ground that built this country.
- 35:43SPEAKER_04: We know what you are, Minnesota.
- 35:47SPEAKER_04: We know the way the light comes across a frozen lake in January, or the way the sunlight glistens a certain gold light through the lease of autumn.
- 35:56SPEAKER_04: We know what it sounds like when the ice shifts in the night.
- 36:00SPEAKER_04: We know the smell of a pine forest after the first snow.
- 36:05SPEAKER_04: We know you.
- 36:07SPEAKER_04: This is what we're still here for.
- 36:10SPEAKER_04: But something changed.
- 36:14SPEAKER_04: And most of us felt it.
- 36:16SPEAKER_04: Not as Republicans or Democrats, but as Minnesotans.
- 36:20SPEAKER_04: Like something that belonged to us was decided for us.
- 36:25SPEAKER_04: Like we came home one day and the house had been rearranged while we were gone.
- 36:32SPEAKER_04: These lakes are still ours, these schools are still ours, these streets, the ones our children walk home on, the one our parents drove before us, still ours.
- 36:48SPEAKER_04: But when the people trusted to protect all of this, to keep the records honest, they keep the process clean, they keep the decision in our hands.
- 36:59SPEAKER_04: When they stopped answering to us, you felt it, Minnesota.
- 37:05SPEAKER_04: We all did.
- 37:08SPEAKER_04: We are the land of 10,000 lakes, the bold north, the North Star State, home to people who have never once confused endurance with surrender, who have weathered every winter this place has thrown at them and come back to the ice the following year.
- 37:24SPEAKER_04: Despite how much we've been taken advantage of without even a say.
- 38:06SPEAKER_44: Again, uh hat tip uh applause to whomever uh the director was who put that together because they did a fantastic job.
- 38:16SPEAKER_42: Sandy and St.
- 38:16SPEAKER_42: Paul.
- 38:17SPEAKER_42: I think the um space junk, as we'll call it, has actually been identified.
- 38:23SPEAKER_42: Uh so you're a little bit behind the times.
- 38:25SPEAKER_42: It was a Metro Surge surveillance uh craft that fell out of this out of orbit.
- 38:31SPEAKER_44: So what you're saying is you you blame Operation Metro Surge for the for the space junk in Stevens County.
- 38:37SPEAKER_44: I got you.
- 38:38SPEAKER_44: By the way, um that Tad Jude ad that I just played for you, it is the reason why this parody ad from Cracked was created over a decade ago.
- 38:51SPEAKER_50: Does anyone else miss the time when we used to work this land?
- 38:54SPEAKER_50: The time politicians serve the people.
- 38:57SPEAKER_50: Does anyone else miss America?
- 38:59SPEAKER_50: I'm Ronald Montgomery Taylor.
- 39:01SPEAKER_50: I don't want to be your president.
- 39:04SPEAKER_50: You can call me Ron, or you can call me Dr.
- 39:06SPEAKER_50: Taylor.
- 39:07SPEAKER_50: It's your choice.
- 39:08SPEAKER_50: I am pro-choice, but not in the way you're thinking.
- 39:12SPEAKER_50: Just generally.
- 39:13SPEAKER_50: No, I'm not some fast-talking politician.
- 39:15SPEAKER_50: I grew up on a farm right in the middle of Boston.
- 39:18SPEAKER_50: My father was a simple farmer.
- 39:20SPEAKER_50: My mother was a simple Dean of Admissions at Harvard.
- 39:23SPEAKER_50: Everything is too expensive today.
- 39:26SPEAKER_50: That's fine.
- 39:27SPEAKER_50: Immigration.
- 39:28SPEAKER_50: Well, I'm not interested in addressing that.
- 39:31SPEAKER_50: I want to get us back to a simpler time.
- 39:33SPEAKER_50: A time when women knew their place, the workforce.
- 39:36SPEAKER_50: A time when kids respected their elders and grew up to start internet companies and said their prayers before bed.
- 39:44SPEAKER_50: If they wanted to.
- 39:45SPEAKER_44: Man, you know what I need to get?
- 39:46SPEAKER_44: I need to get AI to dub to redub this in Amy Klobuchar's voice.
- 39:57SPEAKER_46: That would be that would be amazing.
- 39:59SPEAKER_46: It's just shaking like a leaf.
- 40:02SPEAKER_46: I don't want to talk about that.
- 40:03SPEAKER_50: When those planes hit those two towers, I thought, man.
- 40:08SPEAKER_50: America.
- 40:10SPEAKER_50: Okay.
- 40:11SPEAKER_50: Conservative, liberal, Democrat, Republican.
- 40:14SPEAKER_50: In the end, do these words really mean anything?
- 40:17SPEAKER_44: Now I can't not hear Amy.
- 40:19SPEAKER_50: Yes, they do.
- 40:20SPEAKER_50: Yes, they do.
- 40:20SPEAKER_50: That's their job as words.
- 40:21SPEAKER_50: I know what you're thinking.
- 40:23SPEAKER_50: Healthcare, abortion, Congress, banks.
- 40:26SPEAKER_50: Well, I want you to know.
- 40:28SPEAKER_50: I feel the exact same way as you.
- 40:31SPEAKER_50: Sometimes you just need to stop, slow down, take a look around, and say, okay, let's make Ron president.
- 40:40SPEAKER_50: I'm Ron, or Dr.
- 40:42SPEAKER_50: Taylor, and frankly, I'm a little ambivalent about this message.
- 40:46SPEAKER_44: Or we could redub it in Kamala Harris's voice.
- 40:50SPEAKER_44: Although you'd have to decide which voice of Kamala Harris you're going to use.
- 40:56SPEAKER_44: You see, she's back out ahead of the midterms campaigning for Democrats.
- 41:02SPEAKER_44: She was speaking in Las Vegas and she seems to be testing out a new speaking style.
- 41:10SPEAKER_57: That era, that era of feeling powerless, like what can we do that just keep happening?
- 41:19SPEAKER_57: That era is over because we are now 13 days away from doing something about it.
- 41:50SPEAKER_58: Which is so important for the people every day on the most basic issues that affect our lives.
- 41:58SPEAKER_58: We will continue to block those walls of Congress, being an extraordinary fighter.
- 42:05SPEAKER_44: Oh man, I hope she's a nominee.
- 42:06SPEAKER_44: I can't tell you how fantastic that would be.
- 42:10SPEAKER_44: The just the pure entertainment value of being able to follow another failed campaign of Kamala Harris.
- 42:19SPEAKER_44: I just I cannot resist uh the urge to want that to happen.
- 42:25SPEAKER_44: Midterm polling scandal could change everything.
- 42:30SPEAKER_44: I'm gonna give you details on this ahead of uh um a discussion regarding the debate last night between uh Amy Klobuchar and Lisa Damath.
- 42:39SPEAKER_44: Wedgewood polls, a fake polling firm, admitted to fabricating data, claiming it was an experiment to expose flaws in the polling industry.
- 42:52SPEAKER_44: Their fraudulent polls, biased towards Democrats, were cited by major news organizations and skewed polling averages, impacting voter turnout and candidate decisions.
- 43:05SPEAKER_44: The scandal highlights the need for stricter vetting and reporting standards in polling data.
- 43:11SPEAKER_44: So we'll dive into a few more of the details of this scandal.
- 43:14SPEAKER_44: You're probably not gonna hear about it on any of the major news networks because they're not gonna want to discuss the scandal because they used the data and combined it with their own polling numbers.
- 43:25SPEAKER_44: So make up what you will of the polls that are out there right now.
- 43:29SPEAKER_44: We'll all know what's right and what's wrong come election day.
- 43:33SPEAKER_44: And what was the last election cycle where the polls had any of the accurate information given to the public prior to the debate or prior to the election?
- 43:44SPEAKER_44: So before we get into details of this, let me share this from uh NBC yesterday uh morning.
- 43:50SPEAKER_44: Steve Kornaki highlighting a hidden strength of Trump's polling numbers and what they're not capturing.
- 43:57SPEAKER_44: And again, this speaks to you.
- 44:09SPEAKER_34: I mean, these are states that Trump won by double digits two years ago.
- 44:13SPEAKER_34: And if there's anything about the Trump era that we know, it's that polling often undercounts these Republican Trump voters.
- 44:19SPEAKER_19: That's right.
- 44:20SPEAKER_19: I mean, look, Republicans in the Trump era have gotten used to seeing polls like this in states like this and saying, got them just where we want 'em, because we've seen it in places.
- 44:28SPEAKER_19: Ohio, Iowa come to mind.
- 44:30SPEAKER_19: Even you could go back, there was a Senate race in Kansas in 2020.
- 44:33SPEAKER_19: Polls looked really promising for the Democrats.
- 44:35SPEAKER_19: Republican ended up winning by double digits.
- 44:37SPEAKER_19: So that Trump vote's been missed before.
- 44:39SPEAKER_19: It doesn't always show up.
- 44:40SPEAKER_19: A lot of theories why.
- 44:42SPEAKER_19: But if that happens again, these numbers can change in a hurry.
- 44:45SPEAKER_34: What also is interesting is you talked about the blue states.
- 44:47SPEAKER_34: Let's go back to these are Democratic seats that the Democrats must hold on to.
- 44:54SPEAKER_19: I mean, check this out.
- 44:55SPEAKER_19: Michigan Abdul El Sayed, the Democratic nominee, he leads in the polls basically by about three points.
- 45:00SPEAKER_19: Very close right there.
- 45:01SPEAKER_19: And the thing to keep in mind, El Sayed, when he won the Democratic primary this summer, polls had him up by about, you know, ten points or so.
- 45:08SPEAKER_19: He ended up winning by a fraction of a point.
- 45:11SPEAKER_19: The polls overstated his support in the primary.
- 45:14SPEAKER_19: If that happens again here, that three could disappear.
- 45:17SPEAKER_34: And an eye on blue Minnesota of all places.
- 45:24SPEAKER_44: Just get out and vote, regardless of who you support.
- 45:28SPEAKER_44: That's it.
- 45:29SPEAKER_44: They're entertaining, they're interesting, but in no way, shape, or form can you look at any of the uh any of this polling data and and not, you know, attach to it in a Gibraltar-sized grain of salt.
- 45:46SPEAKER_44: Now, back to the story from the Daily Wire.
- 45:48SPEAKER_44: This is this this is uh this is stunning to me because if you deploy and you should the lonely highway theory, this is probably not the only polling firm that's doing this.
- 45:59SPEAKER_44: And there are some out there that are covering this and speculating that they could be trying to go and influence the betting markets, like Calchi.
- 46:07SPEAKER_44: Wherein, you know, you put out fake data to skew the numbers to throw support one way or another, and you can go and place bets just like you would for, you know, uh, you know, insider training or sport or illegal sports betting.
- 46:19SPEAKER_44: A fake pollster.
- 46:19SPEAKER_44: It's called Wedgwood Polls, is is behind all of this.
- 46:23SPEAKER_44: 50 plus one, which is a which is the revision of Nate Silver's 538, 50 plus one.
- 46:30SPEAKER_44: As reported by the New York Times.
- 46:32SPEAKER_44: Last week, we received a credible tip from a trusted source that Wedgewood polls might be faking data.
- 46:39SPEAKER_44: We had received tips about Wedgewood in the past, but this particular tip had something crucial that the others didn't, evidence.
- 46:46SPEAKER_44: 50 plus one investigated by running an identical poll to Wedgewood's back end data.
- 46:52SPEAKER_44: They uncovered a bunch of red flags, including unnaturally clean sample data that lined up perfectly with Mississippi demographics, impossible user IDs, scrambled to timestamps, and outdated serial numbers.
- 47:07SPEAKER_44: So 50 plus one reached out to Wedgwood polls, and this is what 50 plus one reported.
- 47:12SPEAKER_44: We reached out to them to ask who they were and confirmed the methodology statement on their website.
- 47:18SPEAKER_44: We were given two names, Jack Sims and Andrew Prattur.
- 47:22SPEAKER_44: We were able to independently confirm that Sims had previous experience in the polling industry and reviewed their methodology statement in detail.
- 47:31SPEAKER_44: It is not atypical for a pollster to leave an existing firm, form their own, and self-fund some surveys to build a reputation.
- 47:38SPEAKER_44: We had no reason at the time to believe this case was any different.
- 47:41SPEAKER_44: Wedgewood operated as if it was a legitimate polling firm, including collecting money from donors to conduct crowdfunded polls and sharing the raw survey data.
- 47:50SPEAKER_44: On Tuesday, October 20th, 50 plus one reached out to Wedgewood polls.
- 47:54SPEAKER_44: They did not respond to their request.
- 47:56SPEAKER_44: Instead, they posted a public statement on social media admitting that they had fabricated the data.
- 48:02SPEAKER_44: They also reached out directly in social media DM minutes before publishing their memo with an official comment doing that thing with my fingers.
- 48:10SPEAKER_44: F you.
- 48:12SPEAKER_44: But they used the actual word.
- 48:15SPEAKER_44: A puck with an F.
- 48:18SPEAKER_44: In case you were curious.
- 48:20SPEAKER_46: John almost said the word.
- 48:22SPEAKER_44: Um, plus the name of an individual not affiliated with 50 plus one.
- 48:25SPEAKER_44: So Wedgewood polls now admits it was all fake.
- 48:28SPEAKER_44: They're claiming it was an experiment.
- 48:30SPEAKER_44: They claim they made up all these fraudulent polls to expose how bad the polling industry is.
- 48:35SPEAKER_44: You know, it's kind of like the Ilhan Omar defense.
- 48:38SPEAKER_44: Oh, that's not my father.
- 48:39SPEAKER_44: I didn't know that wasn't my father.
- 48:40SPEAKER_44: I don't know who my father is.
- 48:44SPEAKER_44: I couldn't have married my brother because we're not biologically related.
- 48:47SPEAKER_44: See how all this works?
- 48:51SPEAKER_44: The article from Daily Wire says, I don't buy this.
- 48:54SPEAKER_44: It sounds like the excuse of a guy who's been caught searching illegal content.
- 48:59SPEAKER_44: Probably like the worst illegal content you can search online, is what they mentioned, on his computer, and then says he was doing it for research.
- 49:08SPEAKER_44: Honey, I know I cheated on you, but I was just doing it for research.
- 49:11SPEAKER_44: I was trying to up my game.
- 49:15SPEAKER_44: Trying out some new moves.
- 49:18SPEAKER_44: Westwood's statement concludes: Wedgewood polling was never intended to sway an election or permanently mislead the public, even though that's exactly what they did.
- 49:26SPEAKER_44: It was designed as a wake-up call.
- 49:28SPEAKER_44: If a fictional entity run by a small group of industry veterans can be integrated into a major polling average and cited by major news organizations, the standards for how the polling data is vetted, aggregated, and reported must be hoping to attract clients after getting a few polls out.
- 49:44SPEAKER_44: We will also try to crowdfund a bit.
- 49:47SPEAKER_44: If that was the case, then they should have been out ahead of it.
- 49:50SPEAKER_44: They should have come out and said before this all got exposed, hey, this is all just or you know, you wouldn't let me back up even further.
- 49:56SPEAKER_44: I'm gonna take away that entire argument.
- 49:58SPEAKER_44: So just let's just go in the way back machine for a moment.
- 50:01SPEAKER_44: I didn't say any of that.
- 50:02SPEAKER_44: Now, this is all bogus.
- 50:04SPEAKER_44: Because if you were conducting this experiment, you would go to like the first news outlet that grabbed your data and then used it.
- 50:12SPEAKER_44: But even then you don't really have a strong case because you presented yourself as a reputable polling firm only to go and say, ha ha, we were lying, look, we got you.
- 50:21SPEAKER_44: But why if you if you have the necessary requirements to be looked at as legitimate, why would anybody suspect otherwise?
- 50:30SPEAKER_44: And it was all skewed towards republic towards uh Democrats.
- 50:34SPEAKER_44: So all of this means, going back to the article, that if you're reading the polling data, the only thing you know about these elections is that they're close.
- 50:43SPEAKER_44: Also, if you want to affect the polling average while hiding in the crowd, all you have to do is change the sample sizes in various areas.
- 50:51SPEAKER_44: If you're doing that, you can easily skew the polling average.
- 50:58SPEAKER_44: Don't fall for any op that tells you these elections are a foregone conclusion, they go on to say, or that the polling means a tsunami or anything like that.
- 51:07SPEAKER_44: That's not what the polls say.
- 51:09SPEAKER_44: Additionally, right now, you're watching pollsters rush to group themselves because if you're a pollster and you have an outlier poll, you often ditch it to avoid being the one with egg on your face if you're wrong.
- 51:21SPEAKER_44: The only poll that matters is the one that includes actual voters who vote on election day, plus absentee ballots and mail-ins.
- 51:29SPEAKER_44: In short, the only poll that matters is the election itself.
- 51:33SPEAKER_44: Yeah, I was watching um there's this documentary series.
- 51:36SPEAKER_44: It must be done by the same people.
- 51:38SPEAKER_44: Uh, one of them is called uh In Search of Tomorrow.
- 51:41SPEAKER_44: It's a four and a half hour documentary, and it is interviews and movie clips from the 80s of science fiction films.
- 51:51SPEAKER_44: It's just a science fiction film documentary, it's one of the most fantastic documentaries I've ever watched.
- 51:56SPEAKER_44: They also have a series of horror ones called In the Search of Darkness.
- 52:00SPEAKER_44: And so they have one main doc where they go through all of the 1980s horror films and different genres and all of this.
- 52:07SPEAKER_44: And I was watching uh uh their follow-up to that, volume two, and they focus on um on the special effects and all this, neither here nor there.
- 52:16SPEAKER_44: But there was an interview with the guy who directed one of the directors, Dean Devlin, of Independence Day.
- 52:24SPEAKER_44: And they were talking about they were talking about movies in 1982, what a great year that was for movies.
- 52:30SPEAKER_44: And so this is a long-winded way to try to give you an analogy.
- 52:33SPEAKER_44: And so my apologies.
- 52:34SPEAKER_44: The point I'm trying to make is what he was saying was you he had this script that he was shopping back in the mid 80s that everybody loved heading into the 90s, but no studio would touch it.
- 52:46SPEAKER_44: And they said no studio would touch it because it wasn't existing intellectual property, it wasn't existing IP.
- 52:52SPEAKER_44: And what he mentioned was the movie studios, there used to be an abundance of different movie studios cranking out movies every single year.
- 52:59SPEAKER_44: So you got this wide variety of films.
- 53:01SPEAKER_44: Like when you go back to '82 and you look at Blade Runner, uh E.T.
- 53:06SPEAKER_44: Tron, like the number of the dark crystal, like the number of original films that was released that year was absolutely stunning.
- 53:14SPEAKER_44: But as consolidation happened, and now you only have a handful of movie studios, suddenly the quality of content diminishes, you don't have the variety that you have anymore, and you are less likely to go and see any sort of new stories being told than put out on the movie screen.
- 53:30SPEAKER_44: So that's kind of a microcosm of what's happened with the film industry.
- 53:32SPEAKER_44: But the same thing rings true because the same economic dynamics are in play when it comes to news outlets who have also consolidated.
- 53:40SPEAKER_44: You used to have a lot more, a lot more news outlets out there conducting legitimate polling.
- 53:46SPEAKER_44: And now, because you have fewer and fewer news outlets and they're all rushing to grab the most eyes, to grab the most readers, to get the most attention, what ends up happening is you got a lot of individuals who have nefarious intent who are either one, going to skew the numbers to have it benefit their content to bring more viewers and eyes to what it is that they're shilling, or they want to go and affect the outcome of the election by saying, hey, Democrats are way, way up, man.
- 54:12SPEAKER_44: This Republicans should just go and stay home.
- 54:15SPEAKER_44: This demoralizing effect that's out there.
- 54:18SPEAKER_44: You have to do your own due diligence in all of this.
- 54:23SPEAKER_44: And that's before we even get to the shenanigans, as I like to call it.
- 54:29SPEAKER_44: Speaking of how close things are in the polls, here's a quick one, a quick one from Brett Baer over at uh Fox News.
- 54:35SPEAKER_01: If the polls matched previous, the Midwestern outperforming Republicans, Minnesota would go to Michelle Tefoya, and there you have 52-48 control of the majority.
- 54:51SPEAKER_44: Oh, also, that thing that never happens happened again.
- 54:56SPEAKER_44: Earlier this week, I had this in the stack, so I figured I would uh spike it in in the middle of this uh polling commentary as we get into the debate last night.
- 55:04SPEAKER_44: The Department of Justice earlier this week charged 28 non-citizens in California with illegal voting and fraudulent voter registration.
- 55:14SPEAKER_44: The charges were part of the Operation Project, uh Protect the Vote, excuse me, Operation Protect the Vote.
- 55:20SPEAKER_44: It targets lawful permanent residents who allegedly voted illegally.
- 55:24SPEAKER_44: The DOJ claims the California officials refused to cooperate in verifying a voter citizenship.
- 55:30SPEAKER_44: Doesn't that sound familiar, Steve Simon?
- 55:32SPEAKER_44: Despite providing uh being provided with a list of over 20,000 suspected non-citizen registrants.
- 55:38SPEAKER_44: So again, deploy the lonely highway theory here.
- 55:41SPEAKER_44: You know, if Steve Simon is holding back on giving up the voter data as legally requested by the federal government and refuses to do so, you know, you can't help but wonder what does he know that we don't know, especially considering that this is exactly the same type of situation that California was in, and Operation Protect the Vote ended up charging 28 non-citizens in California.
- 56:04SPEAKER_44: The charges include making false statements in the naturalization applications.
- 56:09SPEAKER_44: Sounds like Ilhan Omar.
- 56:11SPEAKER_44: Fraudulent voter registration, six defendants charged with voting illegally, facing misdemeanor charges, punishable by up to a year in prison.
- 56:21SPEAKER_44: The acting deputy attorney general said that the arrest demonstrated the need for California to address suspected non-citizens on its voter rolls.
- 56:30SPEAKER_44: He accused the state of refusing to cooperate with federal efforts to verify voters' citizenship and prevent illegal ballots from being uh counted.
- 56:38SPEAKER_44: And again, I just say doesn't this all sound so incredibly familiar?
- 56:44SPEAKER_44: Here is uh one more for you on the polls, and then we'll get into last night's debate with uh Amy Klobishar and Lisa Damath and your thoughts from the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 56:56SPEAKER_44: Harry Entis over at CNN on Tuesday talking about what happens if the GOP outperforms the polls even by a small margin, which is exactly what happened uh in uh in 2024.
- 57:11SPEAKER_18: Match what the polling shows right now.
- 57:14SPEAKER_12: And that is the question that I would like you to answer.
- 57:16SPEAKER_12: On average, when you look at these polls, what's the error?
- 57:20SPEAKER_12: What happens?
- 57:20SPEAKER_18: Yeah, okay.
- 57:21SPEAKER_18: So let's take a look at the final polling averages.
- 57:24SPEAKER_18: That is the polls conducted over the final 21 days in each state, compile up an average in them, and let's see how they do, historically speaking.
- 57:31SPEAKER_18: And keep these numbers in mind on your screen.
- 57:33SPEAKER_18: Take a look here.
- 57:34SPEAKER_18: Okay, final Senate poll aggregates in close races.
- 57:37SPEAKER_18: That is races within five points.
- 57:39SPEAKER_18: The average race, look at this, the average error rate, they are off by 3.7 percentage points.
- 57:45SPEAKER_18: Polls are a tool, poll aggregates are a tool.
- 57:48SPEAKER_18: When you have all of these close races, you have to keep this in mind.
- 57:52SPEAKER_18: Those races, most of those races on the last screen, are well within that average error rate, and that is why the Senate at this point is too close to call if these poll averages hold and they go to election day with what we saw on slide number one with all these races, many of which are well within three points.
- 58:13SPEAKER_12: Okay, so what was this look like if the error went to the Republican side?
- 58:19SPEAKER_12: Because when you look at this average and then you go back, there's only one that is above that average.
- 58:26SPEAKER_18: That's exactly right.
- 58:27SPEAKER_18: And this to me is the big siren warning sign for Democrats right here, because I know you feel like it's Lucy in the football.
- 58:34SPEAKER_18: You've seen yourselves ahead before, and then election day, the votes are cast and counted, and the Republicans come out ahead.
- 58:40SPEAKER_18: So let's just say, in fact, we get this average error rate and it goes, and the Republicans outperform their polls.
- 58:47SPEAKER_18: Yet again, this is what we're talking about.
- 58:49SPEAKER_18: Okay, the 2026 Senate map, if in fact Republicans outperform the averages by 3.75 points.
- 58:56SPEAKER_18: Look at this.
- 58:56SPEAKER_18: This is the key nugget on your bottom right of the screen.
- 58:59SPEAKER_18: Republicans would get 52 seats, Democrats would get 48, Republicans would easily maintain control of the U.S.
- 59:05SPEAKER_18: House, they'd win up here in Maine, they'd win in Michigan, they'd win down here in Texas, they'd win in Kansas, they'd win in Iowa, and they'd also win win.
- 59:14SPEAKER_18: I'm gonna come over to Sarah's side of the screen right here.
- 59:16SPEAKER_18: They'd win in Alaska.
- 59:19SPEAKER_44: 651-964-0294.
- 59:24SPEAKER_44: So again, just when you see the polling data, you know, make of it what you will and trust what you want to trust.
- 59:30SPEAKER_44: Be skeptical when you need to be skeptical, and just make sure you get involved and you go and you vote.
- 59:37SPEAKER_44: Klobishar and Dame has squared off in a second and final debate, which I have to imagine they are both happy about.
- 59:43SPEAKER_44: The two answered 14 questions that centered on fraud, mining, public safety, and health care.
- 59:48SPEAKER_44: One of the most contentious issues, according to the Care 11 article in front of me, was uh similar uh to their debate on Monday that centered around how the two differentiate themselves from Minnesota Governor Tim Walls and President Donald Trump.
- 1:00:00SPEAKER_44: Klobuchar pointedly said that Walls should have caught the fraud sooner, while Damis said that she's been clear that the war in Iran needs to end.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_44: Again, there was not much new in all of this.
- 1:00:14SPEAKER_44: And I really thought the performances by both of Amy Klobishar and Damuth was a wash, and neither of them were all that great.
- 1:00:21SPEAKER_44: Amy looked angry.
- 1:00:23SPEAKER_44: She's got this weird shake going on.
- 1:00:24SPEAKER_44: I don't know if it's exacerbated by just how stiff her hair is.
- 1:00:29SPEAKER_44: Clearly, I understand why her hair would fare well in a blizzard.
- 1:00:35SPEAKER_44: Don't get a flame near it, it probably would go up like a Roman candle.
- 1:00:40SPEAKER_44: And at the same time, Lisa Damath just did not seem on her game.
- 1:00:44SPEAKER_44: It reminded me of early campaigning Lisa Damath, where just there's too much thought going into what is going to be said instead of just speaking from the from the heart.
- 1:00:56SPEAKER_44: You know, if Amy had had a good night, and she should have, she's seasoned in doing all this.
- 1:01:01SPEAKER_44: I think this might have been damaging to Lisa Damouth.
- 1:01:04SPEAKER_44: But in the end, I think both of them kind of put on a relatively poor performance.
- 1:01:08SPEAKER_44: And you didn't learn anything new.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_44: We already know where all of these individuals stand.
- 1:01:13SPEAKER_44: Damath on the issues was spot on, in my opinion.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_44: When it comes to Amy Klobishar and what she had to say, it's up to you whether or not you believe that she's not going to go and raise taxes, and we'll play these clips in just a second.
- 1:01:24SPEAKER_44: Damath talked about how she would fire commissioners who oversee state agencies and if she was elected on day one and empower whistleblowers when it comes to fraud.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_44: Klobishar pledged to launch a top-to-bottom audit of those same agencies, noted her experience as a former prosecutor will help jail fraudsters.
- 1:01:40SPEAKER_44: She also leaned into finding new pathways to policing to increase the number of officers.
- 1:01:44SPEAKER_44: She says the state is short by 1,000.
- 1:01:47SPEAKER_44: I just don't know how much power that Amy Klobishar and the role of governor is going to have for all these pie-in-the-sky dreams that push back against everything that the DFL has voted for, especially during 23 and 24 when they had the trifecta.
- 1:02:01SPEAKER_44: Dama said she'll create her own task for task force to combat a recent surge in gang violence, similar to the one introduced after the shootings in Edina, Bloomington, and Eden Prairie.
- 1:02:11SPEAKER_44: The two also addressed how they would help farmers navigate the high fertilizer and diesel costs.
- 1:02:16SPEAKER_44: You can go and watch the entire uh debate online if you want to go and check it out.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_44: Uh, no matter who wins in November, they will make history as the first female governor.
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_44: We had some comments that rolled in on uh on this.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_44: Uh I just watched the debate.
- 1:02:32SPEAKER_44: Metro Surge caused Amy's shaking and anger.
- 1:02:35SPEAKER_44: Somebody else wrote in.
- 1:02:37SPEAKER_44: Friend of the show, Scott.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_44: I could have ended the debate with one question, he writes.
- 1:02:41SPEAKER_44: This is a historic time.
- 1:02:42SPEAKER_44: Minnesota will be electing a first woman governor.
- 1:02:44SPEAKER_44: I would ask each of you, what is a woman?
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_44: 30 seconds.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_44: It would have been over.
- 1:02:49SPEAKER_44: Someone needs to ask Amy uh this when she doesn't have uh any uh forks in arms reach.
- 1:02:56SPEAKER_44: Oh, I get it, because I gotta worry about that.
- 1:02:58SPEAKER_44: Uh I watched Angry Amy at the debate.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_44: She was visibly say uh shaking.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_44: That song is right on.
- 1:03:04SPEAKER_44: There you go.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_44: I wish Damoth would hammer home that health care costs are due to Obamacare, which Amy uh voted for.
- 1:03:14unknown: Yeah.
- 1:03:14SPEAKER_44: You know it's hard.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_44: Uh, you know, hindsight's 2020 when you're watching these debates.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_44: They can't be easy.
- 1:03:18SPEAKER_44: This is another reason why I would would never run for office.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_44: I don't want to take part in these types of debates.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_44: Let's play you some audio, though.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_44: Uh, first off, uh Amy Klobuchar claiming that she won't raise uh taxes.
- 1:03:30SPEAKER_44: Just as a reminder, though, as I played this uh clip, she voted against the 2017 tax law and the 2025 tax bill.
- 1:03:37SPEAKER_44: The 2025 bill saved the average American about 2,300 bucks.
- 1:03:41SPEAKER_45: I'm not going to raise taxes, and if I can, I will lower them.
- 1:03:46SPEAKER_44: Okay, Amy.
- 1:03:48SPEAKER_44: Again, it's uh on you if you believe what she has to say uh regarding that.
- 1:03:53SPEAKER_44: Uh Lisa Damath talking about fraud being on the top of mind for all Minnesotans heading into the polls.
- 1:03:59SPEAKER_44: Here's a little bit of what she had to say.
- 1:04:00SPEAKER_76: Fraud has been at the top of mind for all Minnesotans.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_76: And it's important for you that are watching and listening to know that I respect taxpayer dollars.
- 1:04:10SPEAKER_76: The dollars that we take in as a state are meant to serve the people of Minnesota.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_76: That can be for our schools, our roads and bridges, the most vulnerable among us.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_76: But fraud unchecked here in the state of Minnesota has gone far too long, and it has finally come to the surface.
- 1:04:29SPEAKER_76: The thing that I will do on day one is I am going to be firing all commissioners, choosing new commissioners that are expert in their field, that will carry out the accountability and transparency that is needed in our state.
- 1:04:44SPEAKER_76: We have to change the culture of fraud.
- 1:04:49SPEAKER_76: Whistleblowers within state government have been shut down for far too long.
- 1:04:55SPEAKER_76: And I am the type of person, as I've led within the House of Representatives as Speaker, led in business to make sure that I respect the people that are working alongside me.
- 1:05:06SPEAKER_76: When there is a level of disrespect for the workers that are there, they don't uh have the opportunity to expose the fraud for where it is.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_76: But changing the culture of fraud and waste here in the state government and making sure government is working for the people of Minnesota instead of the people of Minnesota being taken advantage of and disrespected.
- 1:05:28SPEAKER_76: That is a change that I will be making as governor of Minnesota.
- 1:05:33SPEAKER_28: Senator Amy Clobuchar has been in a leadership position as a senator for the state of Minnesota for just shy of twenty years.
- 1:05:42SPEAKER_28: What major accomplishments has she accomplished in that time?
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_28: I mean, maybe I'm missing something, but I can't think of anything.
- 1:05:50SPEAKER_28: What makes what makes us think that she's going to accomplish things uh if she becomes governor?
- 1:05:55SPEAKER_28: I don't believe her.
- 1:05:57SPEAKER_44: Well, listen, there was a reason why, my dear friend.
- 1:06:00SPEAKER_44: And our dear friend Drew used to call uh Amy Clobichar the uh senator of Small Things.
- 1:06:07SPEAKER_45: The fraud is simply unacceptable.
- 1:06:10SPEAKER_45: And as a former prosecutor, I'm going to send those fraudsters to jail.
- 1:06:16SPEAKER_44: Yeah, she says she's uh you know gonna root out the fraud, and yet her office uh had co-signed uh Ilhan Omar's request for a$1.5 million earmark for Generation Hope here in Minnesota.
- 1:06:30SPEAKER_44: And at one address, it's three directors shared that one address, and it lists a Somali restaurant as its uh office.
- 1:06:38SPEAKER_44: It's all a bunch of lip service.
- 1:06:40SPEAKER_44: Again, you have to decide on your own whether or not you trust what she has to say and that she's going to be able to go and do the things that she says she is going to do, especially considering the fact that it pushes back directly over what her own party has voted on and stood for and ran on.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_44: This clip is being shared by Democrats online, and it does speak to what I mentioned in terms of Lisa Damis' performance last night.
- 1:07:09SPEAKER_44: There were just moments where it just seemed like she was completely out of her element and stressed about what it was that she was going to be saying.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_76: The question Minnesotans will face with this election is who do you trust to get us out of this mess?
- 1:07:31SPEAKER_44: There was also a moment where like a question was asked of Lisa Damath, and she seemed completely checked out, and the moderator actually had to go and say that question's for for you.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 1:07:43SPEAKER_44: It was a bummer.
- 1:07:44SPEAKER_44: But as I mentioned, I think both of them had a bad night.
- 1:07:47SPEAKER_44: And I don't think it was a needle mover any more than the forum debate that took place earlier in the week was a needle mover.
- 1:07:56SPEAKER_44: I think a lot of people's minds are made up.
- 1:07:58SPEAKER_44: And even if you're in the middle and you're an independent, this debate, I don't think, you know, helped either candidate grab those grab those votes.
- 1:08:07SPEAKER_63: Good morning, Sean.
- 1:08:08SPEAKER_63: I think Amy's reactions, the shaking, the just angry look, is just more proof that she's never had to go through something like this.
- 1:08:17SPEAKER_63: She's never had pressure before.
- 1:08:19SPEAKER_63: She's never had to answer the kind of hard questions.
- 1:08:24SPEAKER_63: I thought it was pretty apparent.
- 1:08:54SPEAKER_44: Ilhan Omar not only made an appearance in that TikTok hostage-esque video where she was asking for donations of$5,$10, and$20, also ended up showing up on MS Now last night for a lengthy interview wherein she's decided to go and play the victim in this federal investigation.
- 1:09:14SPEAKER_44: And we might now know exactly what the federal government is looking at.
- 1:09:19SPEAKER_44: And it's not what most people had assumed.
- 1:09:22SPEAKER_44: I'd seen some speculation about this, but it held off on bringing it to your attention here on the show until there was some official validity behind it.
- 1:09:32SPEAKER_44: And now that we've seen a portion of the affidavit signed off by that Democrat DC judge, we know that the federal government appears to be establishing their view and opinion that Ilhan Omar has been living in the United States under a false identity.
- 1:09:48SPEAKER_44: That the individual who was said to be her father, of which she would have been granted her naturalization citizenship, is indeed not biologically her father.
- 1:10:00SPEAKER_44: Are we going to get to a level now, by the way, when it comes to issues like that, wherein you can decide who is biologically your father and who isn't biologically your your your father?
- 1:10:09SPEAKER_44: Is that you know, kind of like you can choose what, you know, you're you're you're you're a man or a woman, that kind of thing.
- 1:10:16SPEAKER_44: So we're gonna get into that in just a moment here on the John Justice Show.
- 1:10:19SPEAKER_44: A lot of comments are rolling in as well.
- 1:10:21SPEAKER_44: I want to share this with you.
- 1:10:22SPEAKER_44: Uh Timothy emailed me John.justice at AmericanExperiment.org in a lengthy run-on sentence.
- 1:10:28SPEAKER_44: John, you're totally wrong about Donald Trump.
- 1:10:31SPEAKER_44: I love him.
- 1:10:32SPEAKER_44: I voted uh from three times.
- 1:10:34SPEAKER_44: I'm just reading this verbatim, by the way.
- 1:10:36SPEAKER_44: So I'm just gonna go ahead and read it verbatim.
- 1:10:37SPEAKER_44: We'll try to make sense of it.
- 1:10:38SPEAKER_44: Uh let me start from the beginning.
- 1:10:40SPEAKER_44: Uh, John, you're totally wrong about Donald Trump.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_44: I love him.
- 1:10:43SPEAKER_44: I voted from three times, but Minnesota hate him.
- 1:10:46SPEAKER_44: He shows up here.
- 1:10:47SPEAKER_44: He's only doing his hurting the Republican candidates.
- 1:10:51SPEAKER_44: He needs to stay away from here.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_44: This is one state where he's not loved, especially by liberals who will use any can they sitting next to Trump as her proof to see their proof.
- 1:11:04SPEAKER_44: They're all doing what Trump tells them to do.
- 1:11:06SPEAKER_44: He's got to stay away.
- 1:11:07SPEAKER_44: I'm sorry.
- 1:11:08SPEAKER_44: He's just going to hurt us, and your wrong third point.
- 1:11:14SPEAKER_44: Not a single period was used.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_44: I don't think Timothy realizes that periods exist.
- 1:11:19SPEAKER_44: Uh, so it makes sense of that.
- 1:11:21SPEAKER_44: Uh, Timothy obviously uh believes that my opinion that President Donald Trump could go and help uh Republicans is wrong, and I would just go, no, I think my opinion is correct.
- 1:11:30SPEAKER_44: You are right.
- 1:11:31SPEAKER_44: The Democrats are trying to use Trump in order to invite a turnout by putting him on the ballot and focusing on how the candidates feel about Trump and his policies and gas prices, affordability, the war in Iran.
- 1:11:46SPEAKER_44: But we're in the closing weeks of this campaign, and it's all about turnout.
- 1:11:52SPEAKER_44: The Democrats have played their hand.
- 1:11:54SPEAKER_44: Whether or not that hand works remains to be seen.
- 1:11:56SPEAKER_44: But if we're talking about turnout, whoever base gets out the most to vote, President Donald Trump coming to town, the reward outweighs the risk.
- 1:12:07SPEAKER_44: They've already, as I mentioned, they've already done everything that they can do to talk Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
- 1:12:14SPEAKER_44: It's become white noise at this point in time.
- 1:12:16SPEAKER_44: So Trump shows up in town and they'll talk about it.
- 1:12:21SPEAKER_44: If the candidates go on stage with Trump, they'll try to use that, but it's nothing new.
- 1:12:26SPEAKER_44: The the base of Democrats and independents have already heard all these arguments.
- 1:12:29SPEAKER_44: This isn't gonna change anything.
- 1:12:31SPEAKER_44: It could, however, inspire a lot of Republicans and perhaps even some independents who appreciate President Donald Trump's policy to motivate them not only to get themselves out to vote, for others to vote as well.
- 1:12:45SPEAKER_44: So, no, I completely uh disagree.
- 1:12:47SPEAKER_44: And do yourself uh a favor and uh purchase um a relatively free starter version of uh Grammarly.
- 1:12:55SPEAKER_44: That would be much, much appreciated.
- 1:12:58SPEAKER_44: All right, 651-964-0294.
- 1:13:02SPEAKER_44: Before we get to Ilhan Omar, I want to talk about my good friends uh over at Ericsson Plumbing Heating Air and Electrical.
- 1:13:08SPEAKER_44: Most companies they try to sell you more, but Ericsson Plumbing Heating Air and Electrical is different.
- 1:13:13SPEAKER_44: Why?
- 1:13:14SPEAKER_44: Because for 43 years, this family-owned team with licensed professionals in every major trade.
- 1:13:20SPEAKER_44: They're all non-commissioned, so the advice is always honest.
- 1:13:24SPEAKER_44: Plus, their iHeart My Home Club gives you real whole home care from people who actually care.
- 1:13:31SPEAKER_44: I actually called them up just this week to deal with an issue I was happening having with my uh water softener.
- 1:13:36SPEAKER_44: So to find out more, head on over to iHeartToEricsson.com or give them a call today and tell them that John Justice sent you.
- 1:13:44SPEAKER_44: That number is 763-783-4545.
- 1:13:47SPEAKER_44: That's 763-783-4545 for Ericsson, plumbing, heating, air, and electrical.
- 1:13:55SPEAKER_44: All right, let's get you up to speed with the latest on Ilhan Omar.
- 1:13:58SPEAKER_44: A lot of audio to share.
- 1:14:00SPEAKER_44: Here's a little bit of the reporting last night from News Nation.
- 1:14:03SPEAKER_11: Read the tea leaves for us here, Counselor.
- 1:14:06SPEAKER_11: This new filing that that lays out two names, and we know that the the feds, FBI, H S I, got DNA not just from two people, but from multiple family members before getting the search warrant.
- 1:14:21SPEAKER_15: Yeah, well, I read the tea leaves, Leland, and I can't say it looks particularly great for Congressman Omar at this moment.
- 1:14:27SPEAKER_15: Um we are trying to make connections here, but I think we can draw a few conclusions.
- 1:14:31SPEAKER_15: One is that they do appear to be very focused on the question of immigration fraud.
- 1:14:37SPEAKER_15: As you noted, the search warrant had two names listed for her, so that would suggest that they are looking uh for evidence that concerned her when she was kind of at different points in time, uh, acting under both names.
- 1:14:50SPEAKER_15: The fact that they're looking for DNA, that would suggest that the feds are looking to prove the existence of a possible biological connection between Congressman Omar and someone else, quite possibly the person she married who potentially may have been her brother.
- 1:15:04SPEAKER_15: We can't know for sure until we actually see the search warrant what specific offenses they were looking for and the specific evidence they hope to get, but we can start drawing some inferences at this point.
- 1:15:14SPEAKER_15: And as I said, not looking particularly great for her.
- 1:15:16SPEAKER_11: Yeah, Alan Dershowitz said the same thing last night.
- 1:15:19SPEAKER_11: Our our reporting indicates that this goes way beyond just the charge that she married her brother.
- 1:15:24SPEAKER_11: Um, that there's a much larger uh nexus to some kind of conspiracy uh that the feds are are looking into.
- 1:15:32SPEAKER_11: Not looking good may mean that she's had uh long discussions with her attorney who has told her uh to be very careful in how she answers some very basic questions.
- 1:15:41SPEAKER_11: Um Chris Hayes, uh about as friendly of an interview as you can get for a Democratic Congresswoman, uh, still was able to stumper.
- 1:15:48SPEAKER_11: Take a listen.
- 1:15:49SPEAKER_53: Who was this man that was your husband?
- 1:15:51SPEAKER_53: When did they start saying that he was your brother?
- 1:15:54SPEAKER_53: Why?
- 1:15:56SPEAKER_69: It started with the Somali blog.
- 1:15:58SPEAKER_69: Um uh that I don't know if it still exists, but somebody put in there that, you know, that he had to have been my brother or something.
- 1:16:07SPEAKER_69: We're not related to him at all.
- 1:16:08SPEAKER_54: Not that at all.
- 1:16:09SPEAKER_54: So there's that's a weird kernel of truth that threw somebody in the city.
- 1:16:12SPEAKER_54: Not to my knowledge.
- 1:16:14SPEAKER_44: That was, by the way, they're gonna, I'm gonna there's a one more minute in this clip, and we're gonna revisit this clip coming up here on the show.
- 1:16:20SPEAKER_44: That was a lawyer uh approved response by Ilhan Omar.
- 1:16:24SPEAKER_44: We'll get back into this.
- 1:16:24SPEAKER_44: But as I mentioned at the top of the show, she's gonna start playing the victim card now.
- 1:16:30SPEAKER_44: She'll claim, if this is the federal government's case, if the federal government's case is that she is not who she says she is, that the man that she received her citizenship through was not her biological father, and therefore she's been living under a false identity and is serving in Congress under a false identity, and therefore committed immigration fraud.
- 1:16:50SPEAKER_44: She's gonna totally plead ignorance, say she didn't know, and then suddenly come out crying, going, I wish I knew who my father was.
- 1:16:55SPEAKER_44: I've been living a lie this whole time.
- 1:16:57SPEAKER_44: Just wait.
- 1:16:58SPEAKER_44: She's completely changed her tune.
- 1:17:00SPEAKER_44: In the clips, you'll hear this is not the Ilhan Omar that we're used to.
- 1:17:05SPEAKER_44: It wasn't the Ilhan Omar that we were used to when we saw her and her little hostage-esque video that she threw up on TikTok.
- 1:17:12SPEAKER_44: The commentary that she's she's totally cowering now, as if she's innocent in all of what's been taking place.
- 1:17:20SPEAKER_44: She wants everybody to forget that she's been this fire brand, far leftist radical for the entirety of her career, criticizing everything that makes this country great, slapping and spitting in the face of Lady Liberty, who gave her the opportunity to achieve what she has been able to accomplish as a sitting member of Congress and one of the few immigrants sitting in Congress.
- 1:17:52SPEAKER_44: She has abused her position, she's used it for activism, and suddenly now she's going to turn around and talk about how she's the victim in all of this because she had no idea.
- 1:18:02SPEAKER_44: Just wait.
- 1:18:03SPEAKER_44: That's how all of this is going to play out.
- 1:18:06SPEAKER_11: Uh I'm pretty sure that I can say conclusively there is no kernel to truth that I'm related to my wife.
- 1:18:12SPEAKER_11: How is it possible that someone could not answer that question?
- 1:18:16SPEAKER_15: Well, it is a little perplexing, Leland.
- 1:18:18SPEAKER_15: And to your point, it is hard to envision a more favorable forum for Congressman Omar to come forth and tell her side of the story.
- 1:18:24SPEAKER_44: And that's And again, this was commentary from News Nation, the host and the guest last night.
- 1:18:29SPEAKER_44: We transitioned from the Chris Hayes interview back into News Nation there.
- 1:18:32SPEAKER_44: So I guess you were fine.
- 1:18:53SPEAKER_15: Now she's gone on Chris Hayes and told her story.
- 1:18:55SPEAKER_15: But as you point out, it's not exactly a full-throated denial or an assertion of innocence.
- 1:19:01SPEAKER_15: It's kind of a laughing, unsure, and clearly lawyer coached.
- 1:19:06SPEAKER_60: Hi, this is Ilhan Omar.
- 1:19:09SPEAKER_60: And I came to the United States when I was twelve.
- 1:19:14SPEAKER_60: And I knew that I wasn't my dad's daughter because of twelve.
- 1:19:22SPEAKER_60: I should have had an important because it worked for me an entire life.
- 1:19:35SPEAKER_60: Five dollars, ten dollars, twenty dollars.
- 1:19:38SPEAKER_60: It's going to be expensive.
- 1:19:40SPEAKER_60: Could defend myself again.
- 1:19:44SPEAKER_44: That sounded a little more hope wallsey trying to do Ilhan Omar than it did Ilhan Omar.
- 1:19:53SPEAKER_44: I do appreciate the effort, by the way, and it does provide me uh this uh opportunity here on the John Justice show to share something brand new in case you weren't uh listening at the start of the show at 6 a.m.
- 1:20:06SPEAKER_44: this morning.
- 1:20:13SPEAKER_47: Hi, everyone Ilhan here.
- 1:20:16SPEAKER_47: I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support.
- 1:20:22SPEAKER_47: To everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars, it goes a long way as we fight Trump and his administration.
- 1:20:34SPEAKER_47: I hope I can stay back to the ship.
- 1:22:08SPEAKER_47: In Illhan's native land, and an end of her activism is close at hand.
- 1:22:16SPEAKER_47: Did she marry her brother?
- 1:22:19SPEAKER_47: That remains to be seen.
- 1:22:21SPEAKER_47: But as wine runs dry, it's time to come clean.
- 1:22:26SPEAKER_47: She's got the ill hand blues and bags to be packed.
- 1:22:32SPEAKER_47: She faked her citizenship, she may never come back.
- 1:22:39SPEAKER_47: Hi everyone, Elan here.
- 1:22:42SPEAKER_47: I just wanted to say For everyone who spent five, ten, and twenty dollars, it goes a long way.
- 1:22:51SPEAKER_47: As we fight Trump and his administration.
- 1:23:10SPEAKER_22: Oh man, dude, that is a great parody.
- 1:23:13SPEAKER_22: Someone needs to figure out how to hack a sound system and just blast it from the rooftops downtown.
- 1:23:19SPEAKER_22: Everybody needs to hear that.
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_22: Thanks, John.
- 1:23:21SPEAKER_22: Have a good one.
- 1:23:24SPEAKER_36: John TJ of Minneapolis here.
- 1:23:26SPEAKER_36: I want to point out two things from that Chris Ain't interview with Omar, which was not an interview, was basically them letting her speak what she says is her truth.
- 1:23:39SPEAKER_36: She goes to her knowledge, which is clearly lawyer talking, meaning she's not denying it, but she's playing ignorant to it.
- 1:23:49SPEAKER_36: And I also might add to that I find it very funny that she's saying all this stuff about this administration when it was the last administration that started it, and she's been begging them to come investigate her.
- 1:24:03SPEAKER_36: So they're now an R.
- 1:24:05SPEAKER_44: Alright, so let's dive into uh some of this audio.
- 1:24:08SPEAKER_44: First off, uh this was the clip and the moment that really went viral from this.
- 1:24:15SPEAKER_46: This wasn't an interview with Chris Hayes.
- 1:24:19SPEAKER_44: If he was on a podcast or the host of a show like this, okay.
- 1:24:24SPEAKER_44: And we understand they're in friendly territory, but this was like the first sit-down interview since all this happened, and yet he is leading her on as if to say he doesn't buy any of this while he's while he's asking her these questions, as if the allegations are ridiculous.
- 1:24:42SPEAKER_44: But this is what counts for journalism now, and it's pathetic.
- 1:24:45SPEAKER_53: Who was this man that was your husband?
- 1:24:47SPEAKER_53: When did they start saying that he was your brother?
- 1:24:50SPEAKER_53: Why?
- 1:24:52SPEAKER_69: It started with the Somali blog, um uh that I don't know if it still exists, but somebody put in there that, you know, that he had to have been my brother or something to that effect, and um right-wing conspiracy theorists in Minneapolis got a hold of it, and they just kind of went and like found random people who are like, she introduced us.
- 1:25:15SPEAKER_69: Um, you know, she introduced him to us and said he was her brother.
- 1:25:19SPEAKER_44: Um, which is Let me let me stop here really quick.
- 1:25:22SPEAKER_44: This is all just such BS.
- 1:25:25SPEAKER_44: One thing you're gonna notice in all these clips, by the way, where'd her accent go?
- 1:25:30SPEAKER_44: If you compare this to how she typically speaks, it's a lot more punctuated the way that she talks when she talks like this is on the show.
- 1:25:37SPEAKER_44: It's the Don Justice Show, American Experiment.
- 1:25:40SPEAKER_44: She's always that's how she usually speaks.
- 1:25:43SPEAKER_44: To the point of parody.
- 1:25:44SPEAKER_44: And the reason why it's the point of parody is because she's making it all up.
- 1:25:48SPEAKER_44: And you can see it in this interview.
- 1:25:50SPEAKER_44: Suddenly now that she's playing, you know, sort of the wilted flower, I'm the victim, I don't know who my daddy is, just wait, it's coming.
- 1:25:56SPEAKER_44: Suddenly now, she's talking just regular.
- 1:26:01SPEAKER_44: I I I do not understand this phenomenon among the leftists where they have this desire to be so inauthentic.
- 1:26:09SPEAKER_44: I know it plays to their bass, I know the bass is gullible, I know they gobble it up, but it it makes it nonetheless uh frustrating.
- 1:26:17SPEAKER_69: Which is, you know, insane.
- 1:26:20SPEAKER_69: I mean, I don't I don't know those people that they talk about.
- 1:26:23SPEAKER_69: He was not you were not related to him at all.
- 1:26:25SPEAKER_65: Not that.
- 1:26:27SPEAKER_55: There's not some weird kernel of truth that through some game of the bigger.
- 1:26:30SPEAKER_65: Not to my knowledge.
- 1:26:31SPEAKER_55: That was the big gotcha, right, in terms of what you're talking about promising.
- 1:26:34SPEAKER_55: Like we're gonna nail her on the marriage.
- 1:26:36SPEAKER_55: Yeah.
- 1:26:36SPEAKER_44: Not to my knowledge.
- 1:26:38SPEAKER_44: That's not an answer.
- 1:26:40SPEAKER_44: That's lawyer speak for setting up the angle that is going to be taken on this.
- 1:26:45SPEAKER_44: And if this is the federal government's opening case, I still, my own personal opinion is that it's a it is a it's gonna be a domino effect.
- 1:26:54SPEAKER_44: It's not just this issue of her having a fake identity.
- 1:26:59SPEAKER_44: That's the jump-off point.
- 1:27:00SPEAKER_44: That's your that is your lonely highway theory.
- 1:27:03SPEAKER_44: She got caught speeding on the lonely highway, making the claim it's the first time I've ever done this.
- 1:27:08SPEAKER_44: And what we're gonna find out is like, no, she's been speeding this whole time.
- 1:27:11SPEAKER_44: So it could be that they changed her birth date because she was 18 when she was naturalized as a citizen.
- 1:27:21SPEAKER_44: But it also could be that when that happened, she was operating under a false identity.
- 1:27:26SPEAKER_44: And we haven't even gotten into the issue of the shocking declaration of love, current husband, and the winery that's now closed because of fraud, because he was apparently selling empty wine barrels.
- 1:27:39SPEAKER_03: Hey John, great show.
- 1:27:40SPEAKER_03: Another angle on Ilhan Omar's fraud that hasn't been talked about.
- 1:27:45SPEAKER_03: She claims to be a Muslim.
- 1:27:46SPEAKER_44: I'm gonna stop here on that one.
- 1:27:48SPEAKER_44: I just I'm not gonna go down the it's irrelevant to the b investigation regarding her her pets.
- 1:27:55SPEAKER_44: I understand the argument, no offense to you, I get it, but it's not it's irrelevant when it comes to what we're talking about.
- 1:28:00SPEAKER_44: Here on the uh on the show.
- 1:28:02SPEAKER_44: Uh let's go here.
- 1:28:07SPEAKER_39: Good morning, John.
- 1:28:11SPEAKER_67: Dude, they need to make a parody section for the Grammys.
- 1:28:16SPEAKER_67: And that Ilhan Omar one's gotta be the first one inducted.
- 1:28:20SPEAKER_67: That was the best one yet.
- 1:28:21unknown: I fight.
- 1:28:23SPEAKER_44: Thank you for the uh vote of confidence.
- 1:28:25SPEAKER_44: So let's go through the timeline of the interview.
- 1:28:27SPEAKER_44: And this is really, really interesting stuff.
- 1:28:30SPEAKER_44: Because they get into the raid.
- 1:28:32SPEAKER_44: And Ilhan was apparently home at the time.
- 1:28:36SPEAKER_44: So that, you know, that news that she was seen speeding away doesn't seem to be accurate.
- 1:28:41SPEAKER_44: Apparently, she was home at the time of this raid, at least according to the interview that she had with Chris Hayes last night on uh MSN.
- 1:28:47SPEAKER_55: Were you allowed to talk to your attorney at the initiation of the search?
- 1:28:50SPEAKER_55: I don't think I was able to call my attorney until about an hour into the search.
- 1:28:55SPEAKER_55: So you're just there watching them search helplessly.
- 1:28:58SPEAKER_69: Well, yeah.
- 1:29:00SPEAKER_69: Well, I I sat on the couch staring at the warrant and trying to make sure that they were staying within the bounds of what the warrant allowed them to do.
- 1:29:10SPEAKER_55: What did you, when you talked to your lawyers, what was your was there any moment at which you sort of had any understanding of what exactly was happening to you?
- 1:29:20SPEAKER_69: Um no, I I I don't think anybody still has an understanding of what is happening.
- 1:29:27SPEAKER_55: What do you mean by that?
- 1:29:29SPEAKER_69: I mean it it doesn't make any sense that they would raid a house to take my phone because essentially that's kind of the the warrant was for like electronics.
- 1:29:41SPEAKER_69: Um so to come that early um to take my phone just sounded obnoxious.
- 1:29:48SPEAKER_69: It still sounds obnoxious.
- 1:29:51SPEAKER_44: She's the victim in all this, guys.
- 1:29:53SPEAKER_44: She knows exactly why they took her phone.
- 1:29:56SPEAKER_44: She absolutely knows.
- 1:29:57SPEAKER_44: She's known for she's known for weeks, if not months, why they went and took her phone.
- 1:30:03SPEAKER_44: So the Justice Department, let's get into the official story here.
- 1:30:06SPEAKER_44: I have a lot more audio to share.
- 1:30:08SPEAKER_44: 651-964-0294, if you want to leave us a voice or text message.
- 1:30:14SPEAKER_44: The Justice Department states that the search warrant for Ilhan Omar's D.C.
- 1:30:18SPEAKER_44: residence has not yet been fully executed either.
- 1:30:21SPEAKER_44: It is requesting a delay in responding to a request to unseal the warrant records.
- 1:30:27SPEAKER_44: The investigation, which began under the Biden administration, is reportedly looking into possible immigration fraud and Omar's immigration history.
- 1:30:35SPEAKER_44: Omar denies wrongdoing and claims the investigation is politically motivated.
- 1:30:41SPEAKER_44: Fourteen news organizations have filed separate requests on October 15th to make the public uh to make the records public.
- 1:30:49SPEAKER_44: Prosecutors are asking to update the court within 30 days after the warrant is fully executed, but they're saying that the warrant's not fully executed yet.
- 1:30:57SPEAKER_44: Now the filing lists Omar under another name, Ilhan Nur Saeed Elmi.
- 1:31:04SPEAKER_44: And then they write, aka Ilhan Abduali Omar.
- 1:31:09SPEAKER_44: Prosecutors don't explain why they use that name.
- 1:31:12SPEAKER_44: And again, this raises the question as the investigators look into her immigration history.
- 1:31:17SPEAKER_44: Now, the Daily Wire wanted uh a clarification from the DOJ and what remains to be done before the warrant is fully executed.
- 1:31:25SPEAKER_44: I don't believe that they've received a response yet.
- 1:31:28SPEAKER_44: Daily Wire investigator Luca Rosiak previously reported that Omar's father, newer Omar Mohammed, served, as we've talked about on the show, as a colonel in Somali's military under the communist dictator Saeed Bar.
- 1:31:42SPEAKER_44: Omar has described her father as an educator.
- 1:31:45SPEAKER_44: Rosiak raised questions about whether Mohammed disclosed his military background when the family came to America as refugees.
- 1:31:54SPEAKER_44: Homeland Security agents also took documents and electronics from Omar's home.
- 1:31:57SPEAKER_44: She has since demanded that her passport, computers, and other belongings be returned.
- 1:32:03SPEAKER_44: All right, let's get to uh this clip talking more about the search of her home with Chris Hayes on MS Now.
- 1:32:09SPEAKER_55: So then they start searching the house.
- 1:32:11SPEAKER_55: Right.
- 1:32:12SPEAKER_55: Um, what where did they go and what did they take?
- 1:32:15SPEAKER_69: They went room by room.
- 1:32:17SPEAKER_69: Um and they took seventeen items.
- 1:32:23SPEAKER_55: Um those include a number of phones, right, including your personal phone?
- 1:32:30SPEAKER_69: Yeah, they took my phone.
- 1:32:32SPEAKER_69: Um an old phone, I believe, uh, that was um a travel phone of mine.
- 1:32:40SPEAKER_69: Um my youngest daughter's first phone that was also old, sitting in her room.
- 1:32:47SPEAKER_69: Um, and then a phone that I just got and replaced that uh was still in my position.
- 1:32:55SPEAKER_44: It's a lot of phones.
- 1:32:56SPEAKER_44: I mean, I guess if I don't want to make too big of a deal about that.
- 1:32:59SPEAKER_44: I suppose that when you work on campaigns, you have multiple.
- 1:33:02SPEAKER_44: I only have one phone.
- 1:33:03SPEAKER_44: I don't know.
- 1:33:03SPEAKER_44: I need a new one though.
- 1:33:04SPEAKER_44: Holy cow.
- 1:33:05SPEAKER_44: I took the cover off of my.
- 1:33:06SPEAKER_44: Yeah, as a matter of fact, if you're just for those on the live stream, I can pull this off really quick.
- 1:33:11SPEAKER_44: Melinda made me this uh custom cover years ago.
- 1:33:14SPEAKER_44: It's the cover to my uh seventh book in my embark series.
- 1:33:17SPEAKER_44: But I uh I took the cover off the other day.
- 1:33:19SPEAKER_44: I don't know if you can see it on camera, but it is so completely trash.
- 1:33:22SPEAKER_44: Look at how I know.
- 1:33:25SPEAKER_16: My old phone was the exact same.
- 1:33:27SPEAKER_44: I can't.
- 1:33:27SPEAKER_44: I'm like, I'm surprised it still functions when I took it off.
- 1:33:31SPEAKER_44: I told Melinda I need to get a new phone, and she was like, why?
- 1:33:34SPEAKER_44: Just put the cover back on it.
- 1:33:35SPEAKER_44: And I'm like, of course you're gonna say that.
- 1:33:36SPEAKER_44: All right, do you have more than one phone?
- 1:33:38SPEAKER_44: Do you just have one phone, Devin?
- 1:33:39SPEAKER_16: Uh I probably have old phones just laying in a drawer, but like I don't use them, so I wouldn't consider having multiple phones.
- 1:33:47SPEAKER_44: 100%.
- 1:33:48SPEAKER_44: I was going through my drawers the other day and I found some old iPhones that probably aren't even functional anymore.
- 1:33:53SPEAKER_44: Exactly.
- 1:33:53SPEAKER_44: You know, you could have answered with not to my knowledge.
- 1:33:55SPEAKER_44: Just want to point that out.
- 1:33:56SPEAKER_44: I set you up for that, but that's okay.
- 1:33:58SPEAKER_44: Gave you an opportunity.
- 1:33:59SPEAKER_44: I'm not lawyer training.
- 1:34:00SPEAKER_39: John, you're that's a good point.
- 1:34:02SPEAKER_39: Absolutely right.
- 1:34:03SPEAKER_39: She knows exactly what all this is about.
- 1:34:05SPEAKER_44: Oh, hold on.
- 1:34:05SPEAKER_44: He was saying I'm right.
- 1:34:06SPEAKER_44: I need to back this up so everybody can hear it.
- 1:34:08SPEAKER_39: John, you're absolutely right.
- 1:34:10SPEAKER_39: She knows exactly what all this is about, and the same strategy she has of playing dumb and just acting.
- 1:34:18SPEAKER_39: I I don't understand why any of this would be going on.
- 1:34:21SPEAKER_39: Why would they be doing this?
- 1:34:23SPEAKER_39: It's the same strategy that local Minnesota media is pulling, too.
- 1:34:29SPEAKER_39: With their, you know, oh, let's let's ask uh let's ask left-wing chill David Schultz what he thinks.
- 1:34:38SPEAKER_39: Oh, well, there's the DOJ has just not said what all this is about.
- 1:34:43SPEAKER_44: Yeah, she's violating the the federal government's violating the Hatch Act.
- 1:34:48SPEAKER_44: This is so out of the out of the norm for them to do this to a sitting senator.
- 1:34:53SPEAKER_39: They really haven't released much detail.
- 1:34:55SPEAKER_44: No, it's representative.
- 1:34:57SPEAKER_39: You know what it is about.
- 1:34:59SPEAKER_39: You know.
- 1:35:00SPEAKER_39: This is about immigration fraud.
- 1:35:03SPEAKER_39: This is about everything illegal she may have done to gain citizenship and what, you know.
- 1:35:13SPEAKER_39: Oh, God.
- 1:35:14SPEAKER_39: It just it drives me nuts because she's just playing right into the the local media's hand of like, I don't know.
- 1:35:21SPEAKER_39: So even Ilhan Omar doesn't know what's going on.
- 1:35:25SPEAKER_44: I just, you know, I I'm so with you.
- 1:35:28SPEAKER_44: I, you know, I love it when you guys leave comments and just how authentic they are, just like, ah, that's what you feel like.
- 1:35:34SPEAKER_44: It's just, ah, I hadn't even gotten into the Peggy Flanagan stuff.
- 1:35:38SPEAKER_44: Did she or didn't she, at a sorority, did she belong?
- 1:35:42SPEAKER_44: Was she an honorary member?
- 1:35:43SPEAKER_44: Was she wasn't?
- 1:35:44SPEAKER_44: Why is her campaign saying that it was a mistake, and yet the university is saying no, she is a part of this fraternity, and yet you have the Star Tribune reporting and confirming the Wall Street Journal story, only to come back out and say the Wall Street Journal story was wrong and it's the one that they confirmed.
- 1:36:01SPEAKER_46: I just make it make sense.
- 1:36:05SPEAKER_44: It does make sense when you consider the Democrats have thrown the state into a state of chaos.
- 1:36:10SPEAKER_44: And so therefore it makes all the sense in the world that they themselves will be dealing with a lot of chaos.
- 1:36:15SPEAKER_44: And then in the midst of all the Peggy Flanagan stuff yesterday, she puts up some random post of her as a child telling people to guess how many pizzas she sold through some Pizza Hut pledge drive or something.
- 1:36:28SPEAKER_44: I'm like, what is going on?
- 1:36:32SPEAKER_69: Um so to come that early um to take my phone just sounded obnoxious.
- 1:36:40SPEAKER_69: It still sounds obnoxious.
- 1:36:42SPEAKER_55: There was reporting they took DNA.
- 1:36:44SPEAKER_69: No.
- 1:36:46SPEAKER_55: They did not?
- 1:36:47SPEAKER_55: No.
- 1:36:47SPEAKER_55: Do you know that for a fact that they didn't take like a toothbrush or a comb or something like that?
- 1:36:52SPEAKER_55: None of that was listed.
- 1:36:54SPEAKER_55: Okay.
- 1:36:54SPEAKER_69: In the because they have to give you a receipt of the items that are seized.
- 1:36:58SPEAKER_44: Um Well, they had to give you a receipts that they're taking stuff out of the trash.
- 1:37:02SPEAKER_44: I mean you've kind of thrown it away.
- 1:37:04SPEAKER_44: Is that the property of the garbage people now?
- 1:37:08SPEAKER_44: Maybe waste management got the receipt for whatever piece of DNA they use.
- 1:37:12SPEAKER_44: I don't want to talk about it.
- 1:37:13SPEAKER_69: So I would have seen if they did take anything that had uh contained DNA.
- 1:37:17SPEAKER_55: And they didn't like make a request for you of like a swab or anything like that.
- 1:37:23SPEAKER_55: When they left, what did you do?
- 1:37:29SPEAKER_69: They just went back around the house just trying to make sure everything was put back.
- 1:37:33SPEAKER_69: Um, it's a good job in putting everything um back in in its place.
- 1:37:39SPEAKER_69: They actually even folded some of my clothing that were not folded.
- 1:37:43SPEAKER_69: So it was it was it's a it was a very bizarre um intrusive but polite.
- 1:37:48SPEAKER_69: Intrusive but polite.
- 1:37:49SPEAKER_69: Um and yeah, they they left the house, I think, um, you know, in good shape.
- 1:37:54SPEAKER_44: You know, give me a break.
- 1:37:59SPEAKER_44: Give me a break.
- 1:38:00SPEAKER_44: Anyone outside of Minnesota may buy this crap because that's what it is.
- 1:38:04SPEAKER_44: It's garbage.
- 1:38:05SPEAKER_44: Give me a break.
- 1:38:07SPEAKER_44: In what universe?
- 1:38:09SPEAKER_44: Alternative or the one we currently reside in, in what universe is Ilhan Omar going to say anything positive about the federal government under President Donald Trump?
- 1:38:21SPEAKER_44: In what world is that gonna happen?
- 1:38:25SPEAKER_44: And she's sitting there looking at Chris Hayes and M.
- 1:38:29SPEAKER_46: S.
- 1:38:29SPEAKER_46: Now straight in the face and talking about, well, you know, they were really polite.
- 1:38:32SPEAKER_46: They even went and folded clothes that weren't folded before.
- 1:38:35SPEAKER_44: What give me a she's totally playing a role here?
- 1:38:43SPEAKER_44: It couldn't be any more obvious.
- 1:38:46SPEAKER_44: She ne she would never talk positively about anything.
- 1:38:50SPEAKER_44: But now that she has to take on this persona, that oh, I'm the victim, and I'm telling you that when this is the case that is formed, that she is not who she said that she is.
- 1:39:03SPEAKER_44: She is absolutely and even if it's different, even if it's the birth date change, if it's the she was uh an adult and therefore couldn't be naturalized, all she is just gonna say I wasn't aware of all of this.
- 1:39:16SPEAKER_44: It was a very tumultuous time when I came here as a young child.
- 1:39:20SPEAKER_44: I cannot be expected to remember every little minute detail, you know, like who my biological father might be.
- 1:39:27SPEAKER_59: Hey, John, great show so far.
- 1:39:29SPEAKER_59: Say on this stilhan thing.
- 1:39:31SPEAKER_59: It's interesting how the Democrats and everybody there, all of a sudden there's no talk about nobody's above the law.
- 1:39:38SPEAKER_59: All of a sudden that just goes away.
- 1:39:40SPEAKER_59: So interesting.
- 1:39:44SPEAKER_55: They've now moved on to whatever your representations your father made in his naturalization process about you.
- 1:39:52SPEAKER_69: Yeah.
- 1:39:52SPEAKER_69: Is that your understanding?
- 1:39:54SPEAKER_69: But it's also very convenient because my dad is no longer alive.
- 1:39:57SPEAKER_55: Right.
- 1:39:58SPEAKER_65: Right.
- 1:39:59SPEAKER_69: So it's uh it's another thing they can drag on forever.
- 1:40:04SPEAKER_55: Right, because there's no because the person who signed the paperwork and did it all is no no longer here to answer the charge.
- 1:40:10SPEAKER_44: Look at look at he's answering the question for her.
- 1:40:14SPEAKER_44: Apox on all their houses.
- 1:40:17SPEAKER_46: I what world are we living in?
- 1:40:20SPEAKER_46: I I mad.
- 1:40:23SPEAKER_44: I just it never you think that you have covered it all, you've seen it all, that nothing new could surprise you, and and then you end up with with with this political sham theater that we're all witnessing unfold before our eyes.
- 1:40:41SPEAKER_44: Chris Hayes is just basically so yeah, because you're it's convenient.
- 1:40:45SPEAKER_44: Your father's dead, and they can just drag this, drag this on.
- 1:40:48SPEAKER_44: And then she makes the claim that they have all this paperwork when the reality is, as so many individuals have reported.
- 1:40:54SPEAKER_44: We'll have Scott Johnson on the show next week.
- 1:40:57SPEAKER_44: I was I was emailing with him uh yesterday.
- 1:40:59SPEAKER_44: I want to remind everybody too that Becca uh Thompson is going to be joining us on the comfy sofa here coming up just after eight o'clock.
- 1:41:05SPEAKER_44: Uh again, if Minneapolis had a Batwoman, she would be uh she would be it.
- 1:41:10SPEAKER_44: Uh and she's certainly been sharing her thoughts online regarding regarding Ilhan Omar.
- 1:41:15SPEAKER_44: But A.J.
- 1:41:15SPEAKER_44: Kern, Scott Johnson, Scott Johnson was pointing yesterday regarding this her living under a false entity.
- 1:41:21SPEAKER_44: He's been talking about this for a decade.
- 1:41:24SPEAKER_44: AJ Kern has done the legwork.
- 1:41:25SPEAKER_44: The paperwork regarding her her alleged father, the colonel in the Somali army under the Saeed dictator, it's been missing.
- 1:41:36SPEAKER_44: The federal government has put out there are detailed memos saying we don't have those papers.
- 1:41:41SPEAKER_44: And yet she claims otherwise in this sham of an interview with MS Navajo.
- 1:41:45SPEAKER_69: Right, even though they have the papers that he signed.
- 1:41:49SPEAKER_69: Right.
- 1:41:49SPEAKER_69: And and like the people who knocked on my door searching for papers literally have his papers.
- 1:41:58SPEAKER_69: They they are the ones who processed us to come to the United States.
- 1:42:01SPEAKER_38: Right.
- 1:42:02SPEAKER_38: John, this defense by Omar about uh I don't uh believe uh, you know, I'm not married to my brother, is the same thing, I would think, as filing your taxes.
- 1:42:13SPEAKER_38: If your tax preparer makes a mistake in your tax return um and and you pay a lot less tax, you're still liable for the tax.
- 1:42:24SPEAKER_38: It's your responsibility, not the tax preparers.
- 1:42:27SPEAKER_38: So hopefully the nail Omar.
- 1:42:31SPEAKER_20: I'm curious if they went through her underwear drawer like they did at Mar a Lago and Melania Trump.
- 1:42:38SPEAKER_44: Well, yeah, one of the comments um that was attached to the clip that I played regarding how she was praising uh health uh excuse me, uh Homeland Security investigators for folding the clothes and putting them back to the comment on the blaster line.
- 1:42:53SPEAKER_44: You know, compare that to Biden's DOJ raid on Mar-a-Lago.
- 1:42:57SPEAKER_44: They threw Melania's clothes all over the floor and destroyed the place.
- 1:43:02SPEAKER_44: Trump's HSI politely folded clothes for Ilhan Omar and put everything back after they left the house.
- 1:43:09SPEAKER_44: And again, it's all just so ridiculous to ever sit back and go it's really nice of them.
- 1:43:14SPEAKER_44: Please, please.
- 1:43:15SPEAKER_44: I will not be silenced, I will not be intimidated.
- 1:43:18SPEAKER_44: Oh, but you know what?
- 1:43:19SPEAKER_44: I will give them credit for going and folding my laundry.
- 1:43:23SPEAKER_64: Well, after listening to Ilhan's interview, I didn't realize this is how it works.
- 1:43:28SPEAKER_64: You just demand to get your things back and the Justice Department hands them back.
- 1:43:32SPEAKER_64: Wow, I didn't know that this was even a possibility.
- 1:43:36SPEAKER_64: I'm so glad we have her here to lead us.
- 1:43:38SPEAKER_64: I bet those January 6ers would have liked that kind of uh capability as well.
- 1:43:42SPEAKER_44: That's a really, really good point.
- 1:43:44SPEAKER_44: Thank you.
- 1:43:45SPEAKER_72: Morning, John.
- 1:43:47SPEAKER_72: You know, one thing that always amazes me with uh politicians is why they would run knowing that they have a past.
- 1:43:57SPEAKER_72: Because you know that they're gonna dig it up.
- 1:44:00SPEAKER_72: So why even bother?
- 1:44:02SPEAKER_44: All right, as we move through some more of this audio and your comments, I want to remind you that if you need to take a break and relax, but maybe you want to stop drinking the alcoholic beverages, the spooky mini leaf tonics from Mini Leaf, fantastic.
- 1:44:18SPEAKER_44: The flavors are amazing.
- 1:44:20SPEAKER_44: They're uh they're vodka chocolate martini, uh old-fashioned, margarita, fruit punch.
- 1:44:26SPEAKER_44: Just the flavors are great.
- 1:44:28SPEAKER_44: And they're spooky because there's no booze at Mini Leaf.
- 1:44:32SPEAKER_44: Also, the night sleep gummies, uh, Brandon from Cottage Grove taking advantage of the Triple Diamond Pain Cream, although mentioned this morning he needs to get the uh night gummies as well.
- 1:44:40SPEAKER_44: The delicious chocolates.
- 1:44:42SPEAKER_44: You can also purchase these products not only at the website, but Flowers Cannabis Boutique in St.
- 1:44:47SPEAKER_44: Paul, Scott's Liquor in St.

- 1:45:15SPEAKER_44: That's minileaf.com.
- 1:45:17SPEAKER_33: That's Mark from New Briden.
- 1:45:19SPEAKER_33: Two things.
- 1:45:20SPEAKER_33: First of all, in the case of Omar, the main thing here is that what she's playing to is the thing that is always a trough with Democrats, which is pretending not to know things.
- 1:45:34SPEAKER_33: It's really important.
- 1:45:35SPEAKER_33: Strategic ignorance is basically the bedrock of their entire political philosophy.
- 1:45:41SPEAKER_33: As for Flanagan, just to be clear, Five Ada Kappa is not a fraternity or sorority, it's a national honor society, and it has a significant amount of prestige in the academic world.
- 1:45:53SPEAKER_33: So for her to claim it and not actually be part of it is a pretty substantial thing.
- 1:46:00SPEAKER_33: Thanks.
- 1:46:01SPEAKER_44: President Donald Trump was asked about uh Ilhan saying that when asked if she married her brother, answering, not to my knowledge, here is what Trump had to say.
- 1:46:15SPEAKER_09: When they asked her uh if she was married to her brother, do you know what she wanted what she said?
- 1:46:20SPEAKER_09: She said, not to my knowledge.
- 1:46:22SPEAKER_14: Yeah, well, not to my knowledge.
- 1:46:23SPEAKER_14: That's not a good answer.
- 1:46:25SPEAKER_14: That's an answer that a lot of us assume.
- 1:46:27SPEAKER_14: Go ahead.
- 1:46:32SPEAKER_44: Let's uh go here.
- 1:46:34SPEAKER_21: Another illustration of how off-based Ilhan is.
- 1:46:38SPEAKER_21: Yeah, the regime, her alleged father supported, you know, the Somali warlord that engaged in genocide.
- 1:46:46SPEAKER_21: I don't think they were uh intrusive but polite, unless you consider coming in and chopping you up with machetes and gunning you down with AKs is intrusive but polite.
- 1:46:56SPEAKER_21: It's playing the victim yet what her family supported.
- 1:47:01SPEAKER_21: Yeah.
- 1:47:03SPEAKER_44: This clip here, um, I'll just I'll play it in comment afterwards.
- 1:47:08SPEAKER_69: You know, if there were real people um who were not politically motivated, like there were real people in 2019, um, and there were real people in 2024, um, when they looked at my husband and my finances, um, that yeah, they there there would be no indictment, there would be, you know, um no continuation um of this.
- 1:47:32SPEAKER_69: And yes, there would never have been, as everyone has said, even people who are currently at DOJ, uh, that there was no reason to execute this search warrant because in the search warrant it also said they had a window of 6 a.m.
- 1:47:47SPEAKER_69: to 10 p.m.
- 1:47:48SPEAKER_69: So to come at 6 um tells you that, you know, and then they tipped off Fox News, right?
- 1:47:54SPEAKER_69: They were the first on site, um, and they're they're trolls.
- 1:47:59SPEAKER_44: I find it really interesting, and I'm of the opinion that this is all, again, uh pre-approved lawyer speak.
- 1:48:06SPEAKER_44: But the fact that she's talking about, you know, it was real people that were investigating me before in 2024 and 2019.
- 1:48:14SPEAKER_44: Those were real people.
- 1:48:16SPEAKER_44: I find that really interesting when you consider that the allegation may now be that she indeed is not a real person under the name that she has been serving in Congress under.
- 1:48:25SPEAKER_08: Does crack cocaine make you act any differently?
- 1:48:28SPEAKER_08: No.
- 1:48:28SPEAKER_08: Is it safer than alcohol?
- 1:48:31SPEAKER_08: Probably.
- 1:48:32SPEAKER_08: Right.
- 1:48:33SPEAKER_44: More audio coming up in just a moment.
- 1:48:35SPEAKER_44: Your thoughts from the blaster line.
- 1:48:36SPEAKER_44: Next here on the John Justice Show, presented by American Experiment.
- 1:48:40SPEAKER_44: Head on over to AmericanExperiment.org.
- 1:48:43SPEAKER_44: Selling your home is more than just putting a sign in the yard.
- 1:48:47SPEAKER_44: It's about making the right decisions before that sign ever goes up.
- 1:48:50SPEAKER_44: And that's the advisor advantage you get from Hallway North real estate advisors.
- 1:48:55SPEAKER_44: When you talk to them about selling your home, instead of simply telling you what your home is worth and putting it on the market, Hallway North Real Estate Advisors help you maximize the value before it's listed.
- 1:49:07SPEAKER_44: Maybe there's a new remodeling project that makes sense or one that doesn't.
- 1:49:12SPEAKER_44: It's certainly worth giving them a call before you spend the money.
- 1:49:15SPEAKER_44: And when it's ready, they'll get it cleaned, staged, photographed, listed, and advocate for your best offer.
- 1:49:21SPEAKER_44: Hallway North Real Estate Advisors don't just sell your home.
- 1:49:25SPEAKER_44: They put you in the best position to get the most of the investment that you've already made.
- 1:49:31SPEAKER_44: That's the advisor advantage.
- 1:49:33SPEAKER_44: Go to hallway north.com to schedule your free one-on-one in-home consultation to see how you can get the most equity for your home.
- 1:49:41SPEAKER_44: That's hallway north.com.
- 1:49:43SPEAKER_44: Hallway North Real Estate Advisors.
- 1:49:46SPEAKER_44: They're more than just realtors, they're your personal advisors, brokered by Bridge Realty.
- 1:49:52SPEAKER_07: Hello, this is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools board.
- 1:49:58SPEAKER_07: I'd like to thank John's listeners.
- 1:50:00SPEAKER_07: For their generosity.
- 1:50:01SPEAKER_07: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 1:50:07SPEAKER_07: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Test Scores for Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 1:50:13SPEAKER_07: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in science.
- 1:50:26SPEAKER_07: So, how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 1:50:31SPEAKER_07: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers and everything to do with a lack of school board and administrative accountability.
- 1:50:39SPEAKER_07: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 1:50:43SPEAKER_07: Go to the blog section of my website, reelectjoeescott.com and eccsmcascores.com.
- 1:50:51SPEAKER_07: The staff was paid for by Reelect Joe Scott.
- 1:50:53SPEAKER_44: We have more audio of Ilhan Omar.
- 1:50:55SPEAKER_44: DOJ reveals that the Fed still have unfinished business with the raid.
- 1:51:00SPEAKER_44: I want to share with you uh some thoughts from others as well, breaking down exactly what the allegations might be with this.
- 1:51:06SPEAKER_44: But I also want to remind you that if you want to have individuals who will also come to your home and fold your clothes if necessary, reach out to Ericsson Plumbing Heating, Air and Electrical.
- 1:51:15SPEAKER_44: Okay, I don't think that's going to happen.
- 1:51:16SPEAKER_44: Zach's probably like, no, we're not touching anybody's clothes.
- 1:51:20SPEAKER_44: No, but if you do need service for your home, this is who you should call.
- 1:51:24SPEAKER_44: It's just that simple.
- 1:51:25SPEAKER_44: You don't know who you can trust to anymore.
- 1:51:27SPEAKER_44: You don't want to get upsells.
- 1:51:28SPEAKER_44: You don't want to get taken advantage of.
- 1:51:30SPEAKER_44: And a lot of those companies that you used to rely on for that local service, they're not local anymore.
- 1:51:35SPEAKER_44: They've been purchased by outside organizations.
- 1:51:37SPEAKER_44: They're no longer offering the quality service that you have come to expect.
- 1:51:43SPEAKER_44: But you can still get it with Ericsson Plumbing, Heating Air, and Electrical, because for 43 years they haven't changed.
- 1:51:48SPEAKER_44: Local, family-owned, with licensed experts across the major trades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical gas, safety, and security systems as well, all non-commissioned.

- 1:52:02SPEAKER_44: We're talking real whole home care from people who care.
- 1:52:05SPEAKER_44: You know you're going to get accurate assessments that are in, as I mentioned, your best interest.
- 1:52:10SPEAKER_44: You're not going to be taken advantage of.
- 1:52:11SPEAKER_44: Learn more at iHeartexon.com.
- 1:52:14SPEAKER_44: That's iHeartErickson.com or tell them that John Justice sent you.
- 1:52:17SPEAKER_44: When you call 763-783-4545.
- 1:52:21SPEAKER_44: That's 763-783-4545.
- 1:52:24SPEAKER_44: For Ericsson, plumbing, heating, air, and electrical.
- 1:52:28SPEAKER_40: John, I'm sure that the FBI was probably heard the line, do you know who I am?
- 1:52:32SPEAKER_40: from Walmart.
- 1:52:34SPEAKER_40: And I'm surprised this guy hosts and asked her if uh she talked to her sister to see what they asked her for.
- 1:52:42SPEAKER_40: And did she conduct an interview with the FBI?
- 1:52:46SPEAKER_40: I mean, she was absent for how many days?
- 1:52:50SPEAKER_44: 651-964-0294.
- 1:52:54SPEAKER_44: When asked about whether or not she's gonna go uh to prison, here's a bit of what Omar had to say.
- 1:52:59SPEAKER_55: Are you confident that you're gonna come out on the other side of this with your freedom intact?
- 1:53:07SPEAKER_69: I'm confident in my truth.
- 1:53:12SPEAKER_44: Confident in her truth.
- 1:53:15SPEAKER_44: Not to my knowledge.
- 1:53:16SPEAKER_44: I'm confident in my truth.
- 1:53:18SPEAKER_44: I'm telling you, this is where it's heading.
- 1:53:20SPEAKER_44: She's gonna play.
- 1:53:21SPEAKER_44: She's we knew she was gonna play the victim, but I didn't realize it was going to be this bad.
- 1:53:26SPEAKER_44: This is not Ilhan Omar.
- 1:53:30SPEAKER_44: This is a character that she's now playing called victimized Omar.
- 1:53:37SPEAKER_44: Let's go back to some of your thoughts.
- 1:53:39SPEAKER_44: I have more audio to share by the case.
- 1:53:40SPEAKER_61: Good morning, John.
- 1:53:41SPEAKER_61: Yeah, you know, she's gonna play the well I didn't know card.
- 1:53:44SPEAKER_61: It doesn't apply.
- 1:53:45SPEAKER_61: That's like me saying, Well, I didn't know that I couldn't drive 130 miles an hour on the interstate.
- 1:53:51SPEAKER_61: It doesn't matter what you know when you have the when you have the right to be a citizen or the privilege of being in this country, you also have responsibility to understand the laws and rules of our country.
- 1:54:05SPEAKER_44: This one, I've been saving some of the best ones for Alas, by the way.
- 1:54:09SPEAKER_44: Chris Hayes on MS now asking her about you know how things are going financially.
- 1:54:15SPEAKER_44: Just listen to her reply.
- 1:54:16SPEAKER_75: Alas Omar says she's just like you, living paycheck to paycheck.
- 1:54:21SPEAKER_75: What is your financial situation?
- 1:54:24SPEAKER_69: I mean, it's you know, working, working class, I guess like paycheck to paycheck still.
- 1:54:29SPEAKER_69: You know, we've got four kids.
- 1:54:31SPEAKER_69: Um and you know, we we we live, I think, like a basic life.
- 1:54:36SPEAKER_69: I I have a theoretical camera that's from 2016.
- 1:54:41SPEAKER_44: Is anybody is anybody buying this at all?
- 1:54:44SPEAKER_44: I mean, even you foes of the show, are you buying any of this?
- 1:54:47SPEAKER_44: I don't care about what your opinion of the investigation is.
- 1:54:50SPEAKER_44: I don't care if you think it's a sham, if you think she's being politically targeted.
- 1:54:53SPEAKER_44: No, I am genuinely curious if you're buying any of this garbage that Ilhan Omar is shoveling to this hack reporter, journalist, whatever personality, Chris Hayes on MSNBC.
- 1:55:09SPEAKER_46: Are you just, you know, I guess middle class, you know, we got a kids and a family, and just, you know, we're just, we're just, we're getting, we're, we're getting by, you know, it's you know, I just I drive a kind of a crappy car, you know, it's an old car, it's not very fancy.
- 1:55:23SPEAKER_44: It just is any does anybody buying this for any moment?
- 1:55:28SPEAKER_31: Hey, John, Bruce and Shockby.
- 1:55:30SPEAKER_31: Yeah, one more point about uh her crying that she wasn't able to call her lawyer.
- 1:55:35SPEAKER_31: Well, Trump's lawyers were barred from getting on Marl Lago.
- 1:55:39SPEAKER_31: One at least one of them was on site and got there right away, and they wouldn't let her go in.
- 1:55:45SPEAKER_31: Um so uh hey Ilhan, how does it feel to be treated just like your group treated Trump?
- 1:55:55SPEAKER_27: That guy interviewing Ilhan.
- 1:55:58SPEAKER_27: Yeah, he's answering everything for her.
- 1:56:00SPEAKER_27: It's incredible.
- 1:56:04SPEAKER_27: You know, and isn't it just really unfortunate that your dog over there ate all the proof that would prove you're fine in all this and you didn't do anything wrong?
- 1:56:12SPEAKER_27: It was only for your dog.
- 1:56:15SPEAKER_27: Like, oh yeah, I love this dog.
- 1:56:17SPEAKER_27: It's it's a shame the dog ate all the evidence.
- 1:56:20SPEAKER_27: Yeah.
- 1:56:21SPEAKER_27: Evergreen gave John.
- 1:56:22SPEAKER_27: She's she's the worst.
- 1:56:24SPEAKER_44: She was asked whether she ever wants to just get away from all of what she's doing.
- 1:56:29SPEAKER_44: Ever want to just tap out?
- 1:56:31SPEAKER_69: And I think I think that is now now you've got the real question.
- 1:56:35SPEAKER_69: Um, I think that is ultimately what they want.
- 1:56:38SPEAKER_69: Um what well, you know, I mean obviously they like to see me locked up, deported, and all of those things.
- 1:56:43SPEAKER_52: But I think they want worse than that, uh, unfortunately.
- 1:56:45SPEAKER_69: Yeah, I think I think like the the bigger satisfaction for them would be for me to be like, listen, like I'm tired of all of you and I'm going to leave because they've always believed that someone of my background, um, you know, of my faith, uh, shouldn't be in Congress, shouldn't have a position um where they are influencing US law.
- 1:57:13SPEAKER_69: Uh, and I think that's, you know, that's that's ultimately the thing that they that they want.
- 1:57:18SPEAKER_69: Um but in in a country, I know the president keeps saying, and she talks about the constitution, in a country governed by our constitution, I have a legal right to be a member of Congress, and I am honored that the people who helped welcome my family and helped raise me also think so.
- 1:57:35SPEAKER_44: Oh, so a couple of things here.
- 1:57:36SPEAKER_44: Did you catch it?
- 1:57:38SPEAKER_44: Did you catch it?
- 1:57:39SPEAKER_44: Right at the very end, she started to do a voice to add inflection to the comment she was making, and she slipped directly into the voice that she always typically that she typically uses.
- 1:57:51SPEAKER_44: She slipped into how she normally talks.
- 1:57:55SPEAKER_44: She's this is how Ilhan Omar talks.
- 1:57:58SPEAKER_44: You had Jasmine Crockett doing this.
- 1:58:00SPEAKER_44: We debuted a new oratory style for Kamala Harris earlier this morning.
- 1:58:04SPEAKER_44: AOC does this all the time.
- 1:58:06SPEAKER_44: They all do.
- 1:58:08SPEAKER_44: But she in this interview is talking just like an average regular person.
- 1:58:11SPEAKER_44: You can tell she has a bit of an accent, but it is not even close to being as pronounced as what it typically is.
- 1:58:18SPEAKER_44: And right in the middle of that, she slipped in doing a silly voice, and it's the voice that she normally uses.
- 1:58:27SPEAKER_44: Now, the other more relevant part to that clip was this idea that, you know, they want her out of Congress.
- 1:58:34SPEAKER_44: Let me just play it again and then I'll comment on it and get back to some more of your thoughts on the blaster line.
- 1:58:38SPEAKER_55: You ever want to just tap out?
- 1:58:39SPEAKER_69: And I I think I think that is now you've got the real question.
- 1:58:43SPEAKER_69: Um, I think that is ultimately what they want.
- 1:58:46SPEAKER_69: Um what well, you know, obviously they like to see me locked up, deported, and all of those things.
- 1:58:51SPEAKER_52: But I think they want worse than that, uh, unfortunately.
- 1:58:54SPEAKER_69: Yeah, I think that's but I I I think like the the bigger satisfaction for them would be for me to be like, listen, like I'm tired of all of you and I'm going to leave because they've all But let's just let's just go with this idea that that is the case.
- 1:59:10SPEAKER_44: Because there are people that believe she shouldn't be serving in Congress.
- 1:59:12SPEAKER_44: I'm one of them.
- 1:59:14SPEAKER_44: But why?
- 1:59:16SPEAKER_44: Because she's abused her position.
- 1:59:20SPEAKER_44: She's used her position as a Congresswoman to go and criticize everything that provided her the opportunity to become a congresswoman.
- 1:59:32SPEAKER_44: She's abused her position in power.
- 1:59:34SPEAKER_44: Now, does that rise to the level of being ousted from Congress?
- 1:59:38SPEAKER_44: No, of course not.
- 1:59:39SPEAKER_44: That's for the voters to decide.
- 1:59:41SPEAKER_44: And they've been dumb enough to put her into office term after term after term.
- 1:59:46SPEAKER_44: I get all that.
- 1:59:49SPEAKER_44: But she is not a good patriotic representative of the United States of America, and certainly not the people in her district in C D 5.
- 1:59:58SPEAKER_44: That's why.
- 2:00:00SPEAKER_44: She doesn't respect this country.
- 2:00:02SPEAKER_44: She's made that known.
- 2:00:03SPEAKER_44: She's talked about her allegiance to Somalia over the United States constantly without any valid arguments or examples, has talked about how this country is racist, founded on white supremacy.
- 2:00:15SPEAKER_44: The list goes on and on and on.
- 2:00:17SPEAKER_44: Oh no, no, no, no.
- 2:00:19SPEAKER_44: She's just the victim in all of this.
- 2:00:21SPEAKER_44: They just want her out of Congress because she's an immigrant.
- 2:00:24SPEAKER_44: That's the only reason why.
- 2:00:26SPEAKER_44: Oh my gosh.
- 2:00:27SPEAKER_25: Hey, John Cruz, good morning, good show so far.
- 2:00:31SPEAKER_25: As always, you know what I'm not buying?
- 2:00:34SPEAKER_25: I'm not buying any of her barrels of wine that are empty.
- 2:00:38SPEAKER_25: That's what I'm not buying.
- 2:00:40SPEAKER_44: Outside of uh her abode, they uh her and Chris Hayes uh talked in a very sort of natural moment.
- 2:00:50SPEAKER_69: To intimidate us, to stop the base of the Democrats, um, to feel like, okay, if I am an immigrant myself.
- 2:01:01SPEAKER_51: A naturalized citizen?
- 2:01:02SPEAKER_69: Yes.
- 2:01:03SPEAKER_69: Um, or I come from an immigrant heritage, right?
- 2:01:06SPEAKER_69: Like I could be a person that people might think I'm undocumented, then I better stay home.
- 2:01:12SPEAKER_69: Um, and you know, as I said earlier, almost every indication um when it comes to voting, early voting, that we're getting is that it's up and up and up.
- 2:01:23SPEAKER_69: Uh, that people are furious, people understand what they're trying to do, and no one here in Minnesota is going to allow them to intimidate us.
- 2:01:33SPEAKER_61: Hi, John, this is Danny, and I'm listening to these interviews.
- 2:01:36SPEAKER_61: And Chris Hayes doesn't sound like a journalist, he sounds like a counselor.
- 2:01:39SPEAKER_61: Um, waiting for him to ask her how all this has affected her sex life.
- 2:01:42SPEAKER_61: She's my guy.
- 2:01:46SPEAKER_32: If I were her, I would say, look, I was I was young and impressionable.
- 2:01:50SPEAKER_32: My dad told me what to do.
- 2:01:53SPEAKER_32: He, you know, and I just I followed my father's advice, and he told me to look out for my brother and get him the cheaper tuition, and you know, and so I did that, and I I was too young to really understand the implications, and you know, he's the one that filled out all of the paperwork.
- 2:02:08SPEAKER_32: I would throw my uh dead father under the bus.
- 2:02:13SPEAKER_06: Hey John, Benny from Hugo.
- 2:02:16SPEAKER_06: Great show so far.
- 2:02:17SPEAKER_06: Uh I'm tired of listening to her line already.
- 2:02:20SPEAKER_06: Seems like she was treated a lot nicer than they treated Robert Stone.
- 2:02:31SPEAKER_44: Let's go.
- 2:02:32SPEAKER_29: Good morning, John.
- 2:02:32SPEAKER_29: Great show as always.
- 2:02:33SPEAKER_29: This is Hubert from Brooklyn Park.
- 2:02:35SPEAKER_29: I did notice the comment when she had to uh sarcastically say the word constitution.
- 2:02:41SPEAKER_29: Yeah.
- 2:02:43SPEAKER_29: She's a she's a great doing that thing with my fingers, leader, all right.
- 2:02:48SPEAKER_29: Thank you.
- 2:02:48SPEAKER_29: Keep up the good work.
- 2:03:15SPEAKER_44: And the blaster line is 651-964-0294.
- 2:03:20SPEAKER_44: Glad you're with us.
- 2:03:21SPEAKER_44: Continue to leave your voice and text messages.
- 2:03:24SPEAKER_44: Couple more points on Ilhan Omar.
- 2:03:26SPEAKER_44: We still got to talk about whatever this ham heck happened yesterday when it came to Flanagan, her inflated college record to claim honors and champion DEI.
- 2:03:34SPEAKER_44: Who said what?
- 2:03:35SPEAKER_44: I don't know, third base.
- 2:03:37SPEAKER_44: I think I completely screwed up that Abbott and Costello routine.
- 2:03:40SPEAKER_44: You know, a woman who can certainly uh tell me whether or not I did is sitting right across from me.
- 2:03:44SPEAKER_44: Her name is Becca Thompson.
- 2:03:46SPEAKER_44: Good morning, Becca.
- 2:03:47SPEAKER_02: Good morning.
- 2:03:47SPEAKER_02: How are you doing?
- 2:03:48SPEAKER_44: I'm doing fantastic.
- 2:03:49SPEAKER_44: Not enough, not enough hours in the damn day to cover all the time with what's happening.
- 2:03:55SPEAKER_02: It's like drinking from the fire hose.
- 2:03:57SPEAKER_44: This has been the longest week.
- 2:03:59SPEAKER_44: It's been insane.
- 2:04:00SPEAKER_02: It's only is it Thursday?
- 2:04:02SPEAKER_44: I don't even know what day it is.
- 2:04:03SPEAKER_44: And we'll even find out if we get to the stuff that I even want to talk about with you uh this morning.
- 2:04:08SPEAKER_44: I've just been it's just been an absolutely wild, uh, wild, uh, wild ride.
- 2:04:12SPEAKER_44: But I'm glad to see you.
- 2:04:13SPEAKER_44: Thanks so much for coming this morning.
- 2:04:14SPEAKER_02: Thank you so much for inviting me back.
- 2:04:16SPEAKER_02: It's always fun to chat with you.
- 2:04:17SPEAKER_44: So let me wrap up on this.
- 2:04:18SPEAKER_44: We'll move on to some other issues.
- 2:04:19SPEAKER_44: I do want to get into what's going on with Peggy Flanagan.
- 2:04:21SPEAKER_44: Maybe you can help me make some sense of what uh of what transpired yesterday with this uh this honors at this university.
- 2:04:28SPEAKER_44: First off, though, I just want to do a another breakdown of where we stand on the Ilhan Omar situation.
- 2:04:34SPEAKER_44: And you had posted a video about this yesterday, and I think you had heard you had heard similar to what I had been hearing about where this may be going ahead of what was revealed in that affidavit.
- 2:04:45SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 2:04:46SPEAKER_44: That it may not be that she was naturalized at an age that wasn't the right that might still be the case.
- 2:04:51SPEAKER_44: I mean, that still could be part of it, but maybe more aligned with the fact that she may not be who she says that she's been this whole time.
- 2:04:58SPEAKER_44: She might have might have had a different father.
- 2:05:00SPEAKER_44: So let me go ahead and break this down.
- 2:05:01SPEAKER_44: I got a couple of uh comments here.
- 2:05:03SPEAKER_44: I pulled these offline, just a nice summary, right?
- 2:05:06SPEAKER_44: Okay.
- 2:05:07SPEAKER_44: Uh ship direct crew.
- 2:05:08SPEAKER_44: I always it's always so funny.
- 2:05:09SPEAKER_44: We live in a world now where we host shows like this, we try to be credible, and then we find this amazing commentary online, and then you go, This comes from shipwrecked crew.
- 2:05:18SPEAKER_02: I don't know who's gotta just use my name.
- 2:05:21SPEAKER_02: Otherwise, you're gonna look like a dummy later on.
- 2:05:24SPEAKER_44: Uh, they write this.
- 2:05:24SPEAKER_44: It seems clear to me now the theory is going to be that she was not related to the person she claimed was her father, so she could not get derivative citizenship via his naturalization, whether he was ever naturalized or not.
- 2:05:38SPEAKER_44: She has been an undocumented alien here in the U.S.
- 2:05:41SPEAKER_44: her entire life.
- 2:05:41SPEAKER_44: This would be the claim.
- 2:05:42SPEAKER_44: Uh her real father remained in Great Britain when she came to the U.S.
- 2:05:46SPEAKER_44: with a different family who lied about her being their daughter.
- 2:05:50SPEAKER_44: This is why they wanted DNA of her sister.
- 2:05:53SPEAKER_44: They already had DNA of her husband and brother.
- 2:05:55SPEAKER_44: There is reporting that all this kicked off recently over a grouped text message on her sister's phone, likely obtained in a connection with the fraud investigations in Minneapolis that involved her sister.
- 2:06:08SPEAKER_44: That's why they wanted her phone so badly to find the same message on her phone.
- 2:06:11SPEAKER_44: She probably, in the group chat, uh, that was found on her sister's phone.
- 2:06:15SPEAKER_44: The message must reveal some information, they're speculating here, obviously, um, about them not being part of the same family.
- 2:06:22SPEAKER_44: If she acknowledged knowing about that was the case, then she has lied numerous times as an adult about what she knew about her lineage and whether she was naturalized.
- 2:06:32SPEAKER_44: Lying about citizenship is a federal crime.
- 2:06:35SPEAKER_44: Um, there's another little summary here that I'll that I'll share in just a moment.
- 2:06:38SPEAKER_44: But uh, you know, you had some comments about this yesterday.
- 2:06:42SPEAKER_44: You stirred the pot, you stirred the the pot a little bit.
- 2:06:45SPEAKER_02: People were mad at me.
- 2:06:47SPEAKER_44: In your commentary.
- 2:06:48SPEAKER_44: You know, but I am curious your perspective, especially living in Minneapolis.
- 2:06:52SPEAKER_44: She, you know, she is the representative there.
- 2:06:54SPEAKER_44: She clearly seems to be in town now.
- 2:06:56SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:06:57SPEAKER_44: Suddenly now I'm seeing just within a matter of 24 hours, I'm finally seeing like campaign posts.
- 2:07:03SPEAKER_44: I don't I mean, I don't want to show up.
- 2:07:05SPEAKER_02: I I really don't know.
- 2:07:06SPEAKER_02: Who knows?
- 2:07:07SPEAKER_02: Who knows?
- 2:07:07SPEAKER_44: So so you know, give me a little bit um your thoughts on this, but also sort of um, you know, a view on the ground in the area of which she represents.
- 2:07:15SPEAKER_02: Well, so I mean, there's there's obviously a million layers to this.
- 2:07:19SPEAKER_02: I actually think that the immigration thing and all of this stuff is just um the the question that I always ask is why, right?
- 2:07:28SPEAKER_02: What's the bigger, what's the bigger story going on here?
- 2:07:31SPEAKER_02: Why would someone with suspect immigration status become basically this like lightning rod polarizing force, not just in our country, but in the world, and of course in Congressional District 5, Minnesota?
- 2:07:43SPEAKER_02: But it's just kind of like, well, what what is the bigger picture?
- 2:07:46SPEAKER_02: I I think what's uh really being in my opinion, what should be the conversation is um why didn't people in Minnesota, especially those who knew, um, why didn't they come straight forward and just say whether she was a uh this was legal or not, way back in 2016, right?
- 2:08:09SPEAKER_02: Here's her stuff.
- 2:08:10SPEAKER_02: We know she's a re we she started in this country as a refugee.
- 2:08:13SPEAKER_02: I don't know why, like who knew what when, right?
- 2:08:17SPEAKER_02: Um the whole thing, in my opinion, that's what I was trying to say yesterday on X, and I took it on the chin by certain people, is like, um you it's it's to me, it's unfair to put this just on her, right?
- 2:08:30SPEAKER_02: Like it takes a village to create this uh situation, right?
- 2:08:34SPEAKER_02: So who knew what when why?
- 2:08:37SPEAKER_02: So then the question is why?
- 2:08:39SPEAKER_02: Why, why do you think that you want uh a Somali refugee to represent this city in in the Midwest, right?
- 2:08:49SPEAKER_02: Historically very labor labor intensive.
- 2:08:51SPEAKER_02: I could go all the way back to like, you know, Mondale and Hubert Humphrey and all these kind of things, right?
- 2:08:56SPEAKER_02: Why do you want that person um which bluntly, ever since she was elected, our city has been insane?
- 2:09:04SPEAKER_02: Now I'm not I'm not laying that at her feet.
- 2:09:06SPEAKER_02: I'm s I'm asking people to like zoom out and see what this was.
- 2:09:11SPEAKER_02: So and so that's on one side.
- 2:09:13SPEAKER_02: And the other side is the similar question.
- 2:09:15SPEAKER_02: So who in Minnesota uh uh allowed this?
- 2:09:18SPEAKER_02: But then the bigger question is who funded this?
- 2:09:22SPEAKER_02: Who funded this?
- 2:09:23SPEAKER_02: Like who funded this?
- 2:09:24SPEAKER_02: I I have funded it in what way?
- 2:09:27SPEAKER_02: So here's an example, okay?
- 2:09:29SPEAKER_02: I have taught uh undocumented refugee kids from South America, right?
- 2:09:36SPEAKER_02: Um they their immigration status, of course, is all over the place.
- 2:09:40SPEAKER_02: Let's say they go on this same path, right?
- 2:09:43SPEAKER_02: These kids who's who's you know they're they're trying to change oil uh in cars to make make a buck and help their family, or they're working in a factory now, they don't speak English, kind of a same origin story, right?
- 2:09:58SPEAKER_02: Uh uh their their goal in the so-called American dream is probably to like you know, have a nice house, buy a home.
- 2:10:06SPEAKER_02: Like you you came from literally the jungles of Guatemala, right?
- 2:10:10SPEAKER_02: So if you're gonna parallel that, for someone to have a meteoric rise onto the congressional stage, and I can tell you right now from running for both the park board and the Minneapolis City Council, this takes a ton of money and a ton of favors and a ton of people hoofing and working.
- 2:10:28SPEAKER_02: So, what network rallied around her and why?
- 2:10:32SPEAKER_02: That is like that to me points to Ellison and and different uh guarantees that were made 20 years ago.
- 2:10:40SPEAKER_02: So I just find it like, why are we not asking all these questions?
- 2:10:43SPEAKER_02: That's what I was trying to say when it came to Ilan specifically is like, this is a woman who is, you know, I mean, I'm very empathetic always to a woman who feels like in an impossible situation.
- 2:10:54SPEAKER_02: And I hate that she's been the one that's always been targeted.
- 2:10:57SPEAKER_02: I get she's the figurehead.
- 2:10:58SPEAKER_02: I completely get that.
- 2:10:59SPEAKER_02: But like, ask the deeper questions.
- 2:11:01SPEAKER_02: And so many people in our world don't do that, and they just are like part of when you sign up to be the fall guy is when it's time to take the fall, you take the fall.
- 2:11:11SPEAKER_02: But like, you're still the fall guy.
- 2:11:13SPEAKER_02: You know, it's it's to me, it's it's such a bigger network than that.
- 2:11:16SPEAKER_44: So let's work in reverse order here.
- 2:11:18SPEAKER_44: So, in terms of who's funding this, um, and I'm not gonna go there because we don't have any of this substantial.
- 2:11:24SPEAKER_02: No, no, we don't.
- 2:11:25SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 2:11:25SPEAKER_02: Well, I mean, I have some of the things that I've done.
- 2:11:27SPEAKER_02: But now we don't have time for my TikTok talking about.
- 2:11:29SPEAKER_44: Yeah, I think I think you and I have probably seen some of the same information regarding individuals who might have potentially been involved in helping her along the way in financing this book.
- 2:11:39SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:11:40SPEAKER_44: And I think much of what this investigation will end up revealing will be that.
- 2:11:44SPEAKER_44: I think we'll get those things.
- 2:11:45SPEAKER_44: I think we'll get those answers.
- 2:11:46SPEAKER_02: I think that's ultimately the point.
- 2:11:47SPEAKER_44: When it comes to Ilhan Omar, I can see the train of thought and and why you would offer empathy, as you said.
- 2:11:55SPEAKER_44: I don't want to put words in your mouth, as you said.
- 2:11:56SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:11:57SPEAKER_44: You know, the problem that I have is the Way that she has conducted herself to me strips away any ability that I have to have empathy for for her personally, right?
- 2:12:06SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:12:06SPEAKER_44: So when I hear these clips of her playing the victim over here, I just have to laugh and go, wait a second, lady, you have been acting like an activist in your position of power more than she has anything else.
- 2:12:18SPEAKER_44: And you know, you make the comment of you can't put what's happened in in uh in Minneapolis on her.
- 2:12:24SPEAKER_44: I actually agree with you because she hasn't really done anything.
- 2:12:27SPEAKER_02: No, I she doesn't represent us.
- 2:12:28SPEAKER_02: Like that's why people like myself have whole different coalitions.
- 2:12:31SPEAKER_02: We're like, I'm sick of not being represented.
- 2:12:33SPEAKER_44: So one more point and going back to the initial thing.
- 2:12:36SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:12:36SPEAKER_44: My why did this go on for so long?
- 2:12:39SPEAKER_44: My my view on this is when you look at individuals like Scott Johnson, uh who has been on top of this now for over a decade, he was posting yesterday, he's gonna be on uh next week, but he was posting when the news came out that the affidavit had a different name than what her name was.
- 2:12:55SPEAKER_44: He was like, Yeah, I was reporting on this 10 years ago.
- 2:12:57SPEAKER_44: Yes.
- 2:12:58SPEAKER_44: AJ Kern has been talking about this for a long time.
- 2:13:00SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm saying, though.
- 2:13:01SPEAKER_02: Who in Minnesota suppressed this?
- 2:13:03SPEAKER_02: Right, right?
- 2:13:03SPEAKER_02: That's what I'm talking about.
- 2:13:05SPEAKER_44: It seems like what's happened is you have all of this relevant data and information's been sitting here.
- 2:13:10SPEAKER_44: Nobody's acted on it.
- 2:13:11SPEAKER_44: No.
- 2:13:12SPEAKER_44: And I I posted this yesterday, and I said all it took was the will and desire to move forward on the existing evidence, and here is and here is where we are.
- 2:13:22SPEAKER_44: So she may be able to sit back and go, well, I've gotten away with this for all these years, but that's to it's to the detriment that nobody has moved forward to try to hold her accountable if she has been conducting criminal activities.
- 2:13:34SPEAKER_02: This is 100%.
- 2:13:36SPEAKER_02: This is why I have very quickly become very polarizing in Minneapolis, because of the fact that I'm sorry, I have lived through different abuse dynamics and tropes.
- 2:13:44SPEAKER_02: Like part of it is the code of silence.
- 2:13:46SPEAKER_02: Like, hey, you're one of us, I you get the benefits and the problems.
- 2:13:50SPEAKER_02: Like you you gotta weather the storm with us because then you can get the benefits later of power.
- 2:13:54SPEAKER_02: And if you escape that and you're like, nope, I'm just gonna tell the truth about what I've experienced, you're breaking down the entire machinery.
- 2:14:03SPEAKER_02: And I this has been suppressed on purpose.
- 2:14:06SPEAKER_02: So ask yourself, how on earth did that happen?
- 2:14:09SPEAKER_02: How many news organizations had this and sat on it?
- 2:14:12SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, I I like let's just be plain.
- 2:14:15SPEAKER_02: So, so that's when I talk about money, that's when I talk about other people, because of the fact that yes, and and there are countless things that are going on that people have gotten away with for decades.
- 2:14:25SPEAKER_02: And when you'd find out about it, it's oh, we're horrified.
- 2:14:29SPEAKER_02: And and it's that's why I say when you sign up to be the fall guy, when the time comes to take the fall, you gotta fall.
- 2:14:34SPEAKER_02: But like it's the it's it's it's prolific, the amount of and it, and it all has to do with control, and it ultimately all has to do with money.
- 2:14:43SPEAKER_44: We're almost having it's a really I mean and I'm I'm glad I brought I'm almost glad when I bring you in.
- 2:14:48SPEAKER_44: So thank you for coming in.
- 2:14:48SPEAKER_02: Well, I appreciate being here, and I love to talk.
- 2:14:50SPEAKER_44: But we've got a lot of great comments that are rolling in, but it's almost as if the conversation that you and I are having right now, and I'm actually I I appreciate this.
- 2:14:58SPEAKER_44: The conversation we're having is one that I think everybody else is gonna be having like a year from now.
- 2:15:02SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you and I are ahead of the times, John.
- 2:15:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's gonna be a Get on board, everybody.
- 2:15:06SPEAKER_44: There's gonna be a much different tale to be told at the end of the day.
- 2:15:12SPEAKER_44: And I think I I I in correct me if I'm wrong, I think I see what you're driving at.
- 2:15:16SPEAKER_44: There's a much bigger story to be told here that is that is far beyond Ilhan Omar.
- 2:15:21SPEAKER_44: Because the truth of the matter is, let's just say, for the sake of argument, let's say she's indicted, let's say that uh they they end up having definitive proof that she has been faking her her her identity, and I'm just I'm just I'm going off on one aspect of that.
- 2:15:34SPEAKER_02: I'm pretty positive based on people I've spoken with that it exists and it's there.
- 2:15:38SPEAKER_02: So people know.
- 2:15:38SPEAKER_44: Congress has to make the move to remove her.
- 2:15:41SPEAKER_44: Let's say that happens, okay?
- 2:15:42SPEAKER_44: When that happens, there's no doubt that it's probably like a 99.9% probability there will be another Democrat that will end up serving in that position in in Congress as a representative.
- 2:15:54SPEAKER_44: Yes.
- 2:15:54SPEAKER_44: In which case, Ilhan Omar will be a long-forgotten story.
- 2:15:58SPEAKER_44: But you but the bigger story is going to be you're right.
- 2:16:01SPEAKER_44: Here you have an individual who came here at an incredibly early age and essentially, for lack of a better way to describe it, was groomed along the way to become this figurehead, right?
- 2:16:12SPEAKER_44: And when you look at it, and it was interesting to me when I was looking into her background, when you look at her time in college, and then you had this brief history of of working, a little bit at Target, and then for a bunch of community food groups, and then immediately she's in the legislature, yes, and then she goes to to Congress.
- 2:16:30SPEAKER_02: Yes, and that is that is the Minneapolis City Council.
- 2:16:32SPEAKER_44: There's an apparatus behind.
- 2:16:35SPEAKER_02: They all follow this path.
- 2:16:38SPEAKER_02: It is it is the it is the political equivalent of you know the Disney Starlet.
- 2:16:43SPEAKER_02: Like it's like you're on the Mickey Mouse Club, and then now we're gonna you're you're gonna become a pop star, and oh, now you're gonna be in this movie.
- 2:16:51SPEAKER_02: I mean, look at the Mickey Mouse Club, the the rebrand.
- 2:16:54SPEAKER_02: I mean, I'm not even talking about the original.
- 2:16:55SPEAKER_02: Do you know who was on that?
- 2:16:56SPEAKER_02: You have Carrie Russell, who's on a show on Netflix.
- 2:16:59SPEAKER_02: You had Ryan Gosling.
- 2:17:00SPEAKER_02: I was just gonna say Ryan Gosling, you have Britney Spears, you have Christina Aguilera, you have Justin Timberlake.
- 2:17:05SPEAKER_02: Like they were groomed, okay?
- 2:17:07SPEAKER_02: This is the political equivalent of that.
- 2:17:10SPEAKER_02: And it's happening.
- 2:17:11SPEAKER_02: What I would love to see, which is why I get passionate about it.
- 2:17:13SPEAKER_02: I actually, like I said, I feel badly, Ilhan's in this situation.
- 2:17:16SPEAKER_02: But I want to see the apparatus taken down so that the city council can be taken out from under the thumb of petulant children who don't know what they're doing and they're trying to destroy the city.
- 2:17:26SPEAKER_02: Like that's what I want.
- 2:17:27SPEAKER_02: And the different members of our state government who sneaks through.
- 2:17:30SPEAKER_02: I just I'm I'm sick of it.
- 2:17:32SPEAKER_44: I saw something very similar.
- 2:17:34SPEAKER_44: Um, the mayor in Tucson, Arizona, where I was at for almost a decade before I came here to to Minnesota.
- 2:17:42SPEAKER_44: Um, it's a on a much smaller scale, obviously.
- 2:17:44SPEAKER_44: Very, very similar story.
- 2:17:46SPEAKER_44: Uh, her name is Raheena Romero, and we watched her, she was handpicked right out of high school.
- 2:17:51SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:17:52SPEAKER_44: Ended up joining the political groups, ended up running for city council, became the city council president, and then moved her way up.
- 2:17:58SPEAKER_44: And now she's the mayor that's driving Tucson into the ground right now.
- 2:18:02SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:18:03SPEAKER_44: Right.
- 2:18:03SPEAKER_44: It's all very, it's all very, it's all very manufactured and ultimately all very disingenuous because what you end up with are individuals that really don't have a true respect of the position that they're in.
- 2:18:16SPEAKER_44: Oh, they're do not really want to serve anybody but their self-interest and the individuals that got them there in the first place.
- 2:18:23SPEAKER_44: Absolutely.
- 2:18:23SPEAKER_02: Yes, they they that that's that is exactly it.
- 2:18:26SPEAKER_02: You know, when I go back to Jesse Ventura, I was at an impressionable age when he ran for governor.
- 2:18:30SPEAKER_02: I remember him saying this.
- 2:18:31SPEAKER_02: He was in an interview, and he did this whole thing.
- 2:18:33SPEAKER_02: He's like, you know what I mean?
- 2:18:35SPEAKER_02: I have no strings, right?
- 2:18:36SPEAKER_02: There's no strings attached.
- 2:18:37SPEAKER_02: And then he also said, he goes, you know, our government was set up, and I agree with this completely.
- 2:18:41SPEAKER_02: He was like, our government was set up with the idea that the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker will at a certain point in time step up to serve their country, and then they'll go back after they've served for a little while to be the butcher, the baker, the candlestick maker.
- 2:18:55SPEAKER_02: That is the idea of our self-governing, governing constitutional republic, right?
- 2:19:00SPEAKER_02: But we have instead what we have is we've created these pathways where where we just are, you know, we the the DSA, for example, and this whole network that I'm alluding to is the response to like what they are so angry about to like the Bush family.
- 2:19:17SPEAKER_02: I'm just also using them as an example, you know, as you have like two presidents and this, you know, these different secretaries, and you go back a hundred something years in our country and it's the same family, right?
- 2:19:27SPEAKER_02: Well, people are mad about that, but then on the other side, you're grooming people too.
- 2:19:30SPEAKER_02: It's all, it's just they're both this there's yeah, I heard I was drive as I was driving here, I was trying to listen to you, and I was like, Yeah, it's a plague on both your houses.
- 2:19:37SPEAKER_02: Like, I it's all it's ridiculous.
- 2:19:39SPEAKER_02: So I just like I I stand by that.
- 2:19:41SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:19:42SPEAKER_44: We have questions uh for Becca Thompson who joins us uh in studio.
- 2:19:46SPEAKER_44: We gotta pay some bills, though.
- 2:19:47SPEAKER_44: So get your get your comments rolling into the blaster line at 651-964-0294.
- 2:19:55SPEAKER_44: We do, I do want to talk briefly about the uh confusion around Peggy Flanagan and the university.
- 2:20:00SPEAKER_44: Also, hopefully, time permitting, we can get into this a bit.
- 2:20:03SPEAKER_44: Uh, I don't know if you've had a chance to see this, uh, Becca, but the story by Dina Winter and the Star Tribune about the mental health crisis response program being being thrown into chaos in Minneapolis.
- 2:20:13SPEAKER_02: I have been researching this.
- 2:20:14SPEAKER_02: So I'm grateful it's that yeah.
- 2:20:16SPEAKER_44: So we'll uh we'll we'll try to work through this stuff as quick as we can here on the John Justice show.
- 2:20:21SPEAKER_44: But I want to remind you that again, if you need to take a break from everything, if you're dealing with any sort of pain, if you're not getting a good night's sleep, I got a great night's sleep last night, even though I went to bed late because I had to do that hit on Fox News.
- 2:20:32SPEAKER_44: Still got a great night's sleep.
- 2:20:34SPEAKER_44: It's all because of the night gummies from Mini Leaf.

- 2:21:53SPEAKER_07: Hello, this is Joe Scott, and I'm still the only conservative on the Eastern Carver County Schools Board.
- 2:21:59SPEAKER_07: I'd like to thank John's listeners for their generosity.
- 2:22:02SPEAKER_07: Now, because this is Minnesota, you can vote for me in person as early as Friday, October 16th.
- 2:22:08SPEAKER_07: Now, let's talk about the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment Test Scores for Eastern Carver County Schools.
- 2:22:14SPEAKER_07: Only 62.6% of our students are proficient in reading, only 62.5% are proficient in math, and only 29.9% are proficient in science.
- 2:22:27SPEAKER_07: So, how are we graduating 94.1% of our students?
- 2:22:32SPEAKER_07: You know, this has nothing to do with the quality of our teachers and everything to do with a lack of school board and administrative accountability.
- 2:22:40SPEAKER_07: Our superintendent is not contractually responsible for student proficiency.
- 2:22:44SPEAKER_07: Go to the blog section of my website, re-elect.
- 2:22:55SPEAKER_44: Remember, when you call most home service companies, you might be taken advantage of.

- 2:24:37SPEAKER_02: You're so kind.
- 2:24:40SPEAKER_02: Either way, you know, yeah.
- 2:24:41SPEAKER_02: I made that joke yesterday, even just with my family.
- 2:24:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:24:45SPEAKER_02: They were like, why are you tired?
- 2:24:46SPEAKER_02: And I was like, because I'm Batman.
- 2:24:48SPEAKER_02: And then they were like, What?
- 2:24:49SPEAKER_02: I was like, just don't get it.
- 2:24:50SPEAKER_02: I'm up all night.
- 2:24:51SPEAKER_02: You don't understand what I do.
- 2:24:52SPEAKER_02: I go around the city and film things.
- 2:24:54SPEAKER_44: Yeah, no, you know, and that's that's what you have to do, though.
- 2:24:58SPEAKER_44: And listen, take it from somebody who knows.
- 2:25:00SPEAKER_44: I spent, you know, a good portion of the first half of my life out doing things, and now I like to stay home.
- 2:25:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, well, yeah.
- 2:25:08SPEAKER_02: I'm the same way.
- 2:25:09SPEAKER_44: Did you see the trend that was going around online where they were asking you uh get to know you by naming 10 of your 10 10 bands you've seen in concert?
- 2:25:15SPEAKER_44: Oh no, I missed that one.
- 2:25:17SPEAKER_44: So I had posted, I posted up 10 bands I'd seen in concert, but it was only like a smattering of shows that I'd gone through, uh gone to.
- 2:25:23SPEAKER_44: So I put like a bonus up of like another 15 other shows that I'd seen of bands.
- 2:25:26SPEAKER_44: And I had the listeners go, wait, you out, you went out and did stuff?
- 2:25:28SPEAKER_44: I'm like, yeah.
- 2:25:29SPEAKER_44: I used to go do stuff all the time.
- 2:25:30SPEAKER_44: It's why I like to stay home now.
- 2:25:32SPEAKER_44: Oh gosh.
- 2:25:33SPEAKER_44: But I I bring that up because you are getting out on the streets in Minneapolis and you're filming what's going on, and they're they're they're they're tragically comical.
- 2:25:41SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:25:42SPEAKER_44: Wherein you're looking for the crime taking place, you're like you're like, oh, wait, nope, there's the crime.
- 2:25:47SPEAKER_44: There it is right there.
- 2:25:48SPEAKER_44: It's incredible.
- 2:25:49SPEAKER_02: Yeah, every time.
- 2:25:50SPEAKER_02: It's just like, oh, there it is.
- 2:25:51SPEAKER_02: And it's to combat this narrative that like Minneapolis is back, Minneapolis is a comeback, everything's fine.
- 2:25:57SPEAKER_02: It's like, no, we're on fire financially and otherwise still.
- 2:26:01SPEAKER_02: And it's it's just a way to combat the like just visually tell, especially the the I mean, I just flat out call them the communists now, but the DSA city council.
- 2:26:11SPEAKER_02: I'm like, you're full of it.
- 2:26:12SPEAKER_02: You're you're not telling the truth, and here's the proof, right?
- 2:26:16SPEAKER_44: It's it seems like it was a year ago that we were talking about Waymo's murdering cats.
- 2:26:23SPEAKER_02: I think it was like ten days ago.
- 2:26:25SPEAKER_02: It was like just not even two weeks ago.
- 2:26:28SPEAKER_44: It feels like it was forever ago for crying out loud.
- 2:26:30SPEAKER_02: That your songs were so funny.
- 2:26:32SPEAKER_02: I was laughing so hard.
- 2:26:34SPEAKER_44: It's scary.
- 2:26:34SPEAKER_44: It's scary how good how good those songs end up coming out.
- 2:26:37SPEAKER_02: I know.
- 2:26:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:26:38SPEAKER_02: Well, the Waymo, the the cats prowling for the bathroom.
- 2:26:43SPEAKER_02: Waymo is a no-go.
- 2:26:44SPEAKER_44: Take your Waymo to the bathhouse.
- 2:26:47SPEAKER_44: So let's get back in.
- 2:26:48SPEAKER_44: Here's another quick summary of Ilhan Omar, and as a comment, actually, here for you that we want to get back into this.
- 2:26:54SPEAKER_44: Um, objective uh inner uh inner locotor wrote this, wrote this online.
- 2:27:00SPEAKER_44: So Ilhan came here with a different family than her own at age 11, 12, or 13, and then got naturalized as the daughter of a man who's not her father at age 17 or 18.
- 2:27:11SPEAKER_44: 17 seems more likely, as why else would her campaign workers change the date on her birth certificate?
- 2:27:17SPEAKER_44: So she then divorced her first husband to marry her brother, who it seems may or may not be her brother, in order to get him into the country on a spouse visa while still actually living with her first hope husband with whom she had another child.
- 2:27:34SPEAKER_44: Then she divorced her brother, remarried her first husband, divorced him, and married the man that she currently calls her husband.
- 2:27:41SPEAKER_44: Yes.
- 2:27:42SPEAKER_44: I think we figured all that out.
- 2:27:43SPEAKER_44: That's the correct order of operations.
- 2:27:45SPEAKER_44: It would be interesting, it does put a bit of a perspective on that interview that she did with Chris Hayes yesterday.
- 2:27:52SPEAKER_44: Because I do believe she's playing a role here of a victim.
- 2:27:56SPEAKER_44: But at the same time, there always is a little bit of level of truth in deception as well.
- 2:28:01SPEAKER_44: Oh, yeah, completely.
- 2:28:02SPEAKER_44: And this is not me offering up sympathy, but just a little bit into her psyche.
- 2:28:07SPEAKER_44: There could be a port, a part of her, the back of her mind, going, you know, I got all the way to here with all this support, only to have it potentially end on this.
- 2:28:18SPEAKER_44: Because I think we are seeing the beginning of the what we're seeing right now is the beginning of the end of Ilhan Omar.
- 2:28:22SPEAKER_02: I I I I I mean, I think, I think so.
- 2:28:25SPEAKER_02: I I personally, when uh Zain and Mohammed put out a an ad yesterday based on footage from the rally that Ilan didn't attend a week ago, I was like, oh, now we've got the we're we're already we're already vying for the next position, right?
- 2:28:40SPEAKER_02: Let's it's like the rule like the roulette wheel of politicians.
- 2:28:46SPEAKER_02: Um, because I think that even they are seeing it, that it's like, okay, you you gotta take one for the team here.
- 2:28:51SPEAKER_02: It's like it's like when uh when a again, it's like a TV show.
- 2:28:55SPEAKER_02: It's like when the star does something in political turmoil, right?
- 2:28:59SPEAKER_02: Like you had an affair and we have to recast this.
- 2:29:02SPEAKER_02: Well, we're gonna keep soldiering on, we're just gonna have someone fill your role.
- 2:29:06SPEAKER_02: Now you're done.
- 2:29:07SPEAKER_02: You're done.
- 2:29:07SPEAKER_02: Okay, here's your severance package, and then here comes the next person because the machine is the thing that's more important than than the the the player on the you know.
- 2:29:17SPEAKER_44: Who was the who's the actor that played Kang the Conqueror who got Yeah, Jonathan Majors.
- 2:29:23SPEAKER_02: That's the exact one I just was thinking of.
- 2:29:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah.
- 2:29:25SPEAKER_02: So he's got canceled.
- 2:29:26SPEAKER_02: Here we're gonna get soldier on.
- 2:29:28SPEAKER_44: And so now, so John so Jonathan Major gets canceled through allegations with may or may not have been relevant.
- 2:29:34SPEAKER_44: I don't know the entire d details of the allegations against him.
- 2:29:37SPEAKER_44: Um so he gets ostracized, but now he's re-emerged over with the Daily Wire and doing movies for them.
- 2:29:44SPEAKER_44: I didn't even know that.
- 2:29:45SPEAKER_44: Yeah, he's he's done the next run, hide, fight, infidels movie.
- 2:29:49SPEAKER_44: He's the main actor in that, so he's never re-emerged.
- 2:29:52SPEAKER_02: So but it but that that that's exactly I mean, I liken it to Hollywood because it's Hollywood.
- 2:29:56SPEAKER_02: I mean, like Shakespeare said it 500 years ago, all the world's a stage, and men and women merely players.
- 2:30:03SPEAKER_02: Like, I I know people think that's just high art theater.
- 2:30:07SPEAKER_02: It's real.
- 2:30:08SPEAKER_02: Like, like the apparatuses of the people get me sometimes on on social media, they're like, well, then who?
- 2:30:13SPEAKER_02: Who?
- 2:30:13SPEAKER_02: Who's in charge?
- 2:30:14SPEAKER_02: Who's in charge?
- 2:30:14SPEAKER_02: I go, you'll never see them.
- 2:30:16SPEAKER_02: Have you seen the movie Eyes Wide Shut?
- 2:30:18SPEAKER_02: You will never see the people pulling the strings.
- 2:30:21SPEAKER_02: Never.
- 2:30:22SPEAKER_02: So all you can hope is for your little moments like this one, where you topple a corner of their empire for a second and hope to have some normalcy emerge again for maybe you might you might get 10 years before they regroup.
- 2:30:38SPEAKER_02: And I'm totally serious.
- 2:30:40SPEAKER_44: And what we're seeing now with Ilhan, when I say the beginning of the end of Ilharm, I Ilhan, what I need to do is I kind of need to reframe that.
- 2:30:46SPEAKER_44: I know what you mean.
- 2:30:46SPEAKER_44: It's yeah, it's the beginning of the end of her cur of the current iteration of Ilmar.
- 2:30:50SPEAKER_44: Of Ilhan Ilmar.
- 2:30:52SPEAKER_44: I keep calling it Ilmar.
- 2:30:53SPEAKER_02: Um we don't know her last name right now.
- 2:30:56SPEAKER_02: Oh, that's right.
- 2:30:57SPEAKER_02: So sorry, I should, but it's true.
- 2:30:59SPEAKER_44: Keep it keep in mind as we watch this this theater play out, because that's where we are now.
- 2:31:05SPEAKER_44: We're in the we're in the narrative theater phase.
- 2:31:08SPEAKER_44: Yes.
- 2:31:08SPEAKER_44: She is now not only preparing herself for whatever the indictment is gonna be and whatever the fallout is, she's preparing for also what comes next.
- 2:31:18SPEAKER_44: Absolutely, absolutely.
- 2:31:19SPEAKER_44: And she will re- she will more than likely re-emerge, as you mentioned, probably here in Minnesota, in Minneapolis, as some other force and doing something else.
- 2:31:28SPEAKER_44: But that's that's where we that's where we are right now.
- 2:31:30SPEAKER_44: We're in the transition phase of what she's gonna was gonna be a rocky ride to get there.
- 2:31:35SPEAKER_44: But everything that we're seeing now is for the indictment, whatever she has to deal with, and then whatever comes.
- 2:31:41SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 2:31:42SPEAKER_02: I'm sure that she spent the last week like coming up with the plan for what to do, because I I don't think people should should be surprised if she has some tearful apology to her and resigns to find a way into some really cushy, high-level, you know, uh public policy job somewhere, but re remains in the United States, right?
- 2:32:06SPEAKER_02: If you push this all the way to the end to full discovery, um that could possibly mean you're gone, right?
- 2:32:14SPEAKER_02: And so, and so I don't think she or any of her team wants that.
- 2:32:18SPEAKER_02: So they're gonna try it's a it's like a we just saw it in Tim Walls.
- 2:32:21SPEAKER_02: It's an exit strategy, right?
- 2:32:23SPEAKER_02: Where you can st you you still have space to re-emerge.
- 2:32:26SPEAKER_02: So you're gonna kill the story as best you can, take one for the team, and then pivot.
- 2:32:32SPEAKER_02: So don't be surprised if you see that happening.
- 2:32:34SPEAKER_02: Um, the where the biggest like fist in your face, you know, microphone, I'm screaming, right?
- 2:32:40SPEAKER_02: F this person, F that person, F the United States of America, suddenly is like, oh my gosh, it's I made a mistake.
- 2:32:49SPEAKER_02: I was so young, I didn't know.
- 2:32:52SPEAKER_02: I just love my brother, tears, tears, tears, right?
- 2:32:54SPEAKER_02: Empathy, empathy.
- 2:32:55SPEAKER_02: I'm gonna resign.
- 2:32:56SPEAKER_02: Oh my gosh, you guys, what more do you want from her?
- 2:32:58SPEAKER_02: She resigned, and now we have Zainib Muhammad, and everyone should feel you know, let's sing kumbaya together.
- 2:33:04SPEAKER_02: And um, and then and you never see the man behind the curtain.
- 2:33:07SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 2:33:08SPEAKER_02: Because right now, the man behind the curtain, the great and powerful Oz, is like, uh Toto, get away from me.
- 2:33:13SPEAKER_44: Let's let's go here to the uh blaster line.
- 2:33:15SPEAKER_44: 651-964-0294 as we continue um our conversation with uh Becca Thompson here on the John Justice Show.
- 2:33:22SPEAKER_24: Please ask Becca if she thinks that any of this is gonna make a difference in the way that these Democrats in Minneapolis vote.
- 2:33:31SPEAKER_24: I'd like to get her opinion on that.
- 2:33:33SPEAKER_24: Personally, I just I don't think it'll make a difference.
- 2:33:36SPEAKER_24: I think it'll bring out more Democrats to vote for her because, like you said, John, she's playing the victim.
- 2:33:41SPEAKER_44: Yeah, I mean, it does does this have any chance to have any major impact on the on the on the upcoming election.
- 2:33:48SPEAKER_02: Oh, not this one, not at all.
- 2:33:49SPEAKER_02: But that's why, you know, so when when she when the other day when she posted something finally re emerging and then asking for money, and I know people were giving her a hard time, but like there she she's gonna win in a in a Landslide in a week, two weeks, a week and a half, whatever day, right?
- 2:34:03SPEAKER_02: She like she's going to win in a landslide again, right?
- 2:34:07SPEAKER_02: And I don't say that because I mean I have people who are like, you know, you know, it might be time.
- 2:34:13SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, you don't understand the psychology of of people who view this party, this movement like their messiah.
- 2:34:24SPEAKER_02: Like it's it's that's why I personally am still like, is there room for someone of faith in the Democrat Party?
- 2:34:30SPEAKER_02: I'd like to think that there still is, um, you know, like a John Kennedy kind of like wing, right?
- 2:34:36SPEAKER_02: Where you but I I don't I don't know sometimes, you know, because there's it's just such it's a it's its own religion, the DSA communism stuff, the Marx.
- 2:34:50SPEAKER_02: And so no, people will double, triple down.
- 2:34:52SPEAKER_02: It it won't make what difference.
- 2:34:54SPEAKER_44: And that's for people who are actually paying attention.
- 2:34:56SPEAKER_44: Yeah.
- 2:34:57SPEAKER_44: Oh, yeah.
- 2:34:57SPEAKER_44: For those that I mean, the majority of people don't even know what's going on.
- 2:35:00SPEAKER_44: Oh my gosh, completely.
- 2:35:02SPEAKER_44: And even if they see something in the Star Tribune, they're gonna get an article like, you know, you know, what's really going on with Ilhan Omar's investigation?
- 2:35:09SPEAKER_44: They're gonna get something really watered down and and uh and not nearly uh, you know, to the point of what we're discussing now and getting into the nuance of the details.
- 2:35:18SPEAKER_02: 100%.
- 2:35:19SPEAKER_02: And I just said this to a friend of mine last night.
- 2:35:21SPEAKER_02: It never ceases to horrify me how little people know, how little they understand, how like just there's so much surface level thinking when it comes to politics.
- 2:35:33SPEAKER_02: And I get that, like, you know, you've got your own family to deal with, you've got your job, you, you know, you want to go to the lake on the weekend, you've got your plans, you're gonna bike ride, doesn't matter what side of the aisle you're on, you've got your own life to live, and you'll give cursory, like you'll you'll read the paragraph headline of a candidate.
- 2:35:51SPEAKER_02: I mean, cause I say I'm saying this because I used to do it, um, to make your decisions.
- 2:35:56SPEAKER_02: Well, that sure seems like the right person, right?
- 2:35:59SPEAKER_02: Of a of a newspaper and or a uh a news channel that wants you to see it a certain way, right?
- 2:36:07SPEAKER_02: So, like, so so you think you're researching, and it's just like, okay, but what is what is your research?
- 2:36:14SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you know, and and that is that's scary.
- 2:36:16SPEAKER_02: There's as you know, as they say in the political world, low information voters are it's scary.
- 2:36:22SPEAKER_44: And it's a bummer because you know, we had the uh the the opportunity to interview John Nagel, and here you got this solid guy.
- 2:36:28SPEAKER_44: Yeah, you know, who it's every time cares about the community and it's got a great background and a good head on his shoulders and wants to do the right thing, but he's not gonna unfortunately he's not gonna be able to to to cut through.
- 2:36:40SPEAKER_02: Well, no, and in 2020, um Lacey Johnson, who's a north sider, a black man, the city had just burned.
- 2:36:46SPEAKER_02: In my opinion, that was a great opportunity for some sort of pivot.
- 2:36:51SPEAKER_02: Um and yeah, no, I know, and he still, and it was the highest the Republicans ever gotten.
- 2:36:56SPEAKER_02: But it's it it and and and I could go into the DFL process and how the Don Samuels campaign, also again, a North Minneapolis black man, like like these aren't like soft run-of-the-mill, like you're the t it's not like the far right as they're always accused by the communists, right?
- 2:37:13SPEAKER_02: Not in the slightest.
- 2:37:14SPEAKER_02: And yet you still can't move the needle because of the way that the system is gamed.
- 2:37:19SPEAKER_02: Um the the entire system is rigged, and I I mean, I can already hear the pushback from people.
- 2:37:27SPEAKER_02: It's it it's it itself is not rigged, it's available to be rigged very easily.
- 2:37:32SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:37:32SPEAKER_02: Very and I could explain that to people, especially the DFL caucus process, the DFL endorsement process, how how 10 delegates can change the course of an entire election.
- 2:37:41SPEAKER_02: And nobody knows this because they don't understand how the blue no matter who wave just takes over the city.
- 2:37:47SPEAKER_44: Well, and not to get, you know, not to get too too deep in the weeds on this, but then when you even go and add in things like ranked choice voting, which makes it even easier to game the system, especially when you include what it is you're talking about and how people get divided and how they you know they have their own interests and all that.
- 2:38:05SPEAKER_44: It's why we end up ultimately with it's turnout, turn out, turnout when it comes to the election, because you can't cut through all of this garbage because there's so much nuance and agenda involved in all of it.
- 2:38:17SPEAKER_02: Oh, absolutely.
- 2:38:19SPEAKER_02: And if you can win the communication war, you'll win.
- 2:38:24SPEAKER_02: And and and and I will say, in fairness to rake choice voting, um I I really actually have a problem with our two-party system, which is engrafted into state law.
- 2:38:36SPEAKER_02: It's almost impossible to be outside of those two parties.
- 2:38:40SPEAKER_02: I have like looked and at length, and it was actually in response to the Jesse Ventura era of like, uh, this happened a little too easily.
- 2:38:50SPEAKER_02: So now they make it almost impossible to get on the ballot as a third party.
- 2:38:53SPEAKER_02: So then you are so then so then the whole like uh blue no matter who party it's even more po powerful because you can't even get an independent voice in there because you have you you create a persona where um the Republicans are Doctor Doom, right?
- 2:39:12SPEAKER_02: They're gonna destroy you.
- 2:39:14SPEAKER_02: And so, and there's no middle, there's no middle.
- 2:39:16SPEAKER_02: And then the communists were able to totally game the system on the DFL caucus process, so you get a DFL, and Peggy Flanagan is the perfect example of this, so is Keith Ellison.
- 2:39:27SPEAKER_02: You gamed the entire system to get that very first DFL endorsement.
- 2:39:33SPEAKER_02: That endorsement comes with money, that money comes with the ability to win the primary, and once you've won the primary, you win because of the fact that it the apparatus is so skewed, and people don't understand that.
- 2:39:47SPEAKER_02: I having faith in the system, I kind of want to be like, I mean, I was saying like I have you know the land in the Bermuda Triangle, then I'd love to sell you if you think that this is a really like real.
- 2:39:58SPEAKER_44: All right, let's get to some of your thoughts so we continue our conversation with Becca Thompson.
- 2:40:02SPEAKER_74: I love hearing Becca.
- 2:40:03SPEAKER_74: She's so awesome.
- 2:40:05SPEAKER_74: Ellison, Ellison, Ellison, he's the one that opened the door for a congressional seat.
- 2:40:09SPEAKER_74: Probably his hands are as dirty as anything.
- 2:40:11SPEAKER_74: Get on Ellison and try to connect him to this thing.
- 2:40:15SPEAKER_74: It's gotta be him.
- 2:40:17SPEAKER_44: I think he's in, I think he's in big trouble this uh this election cycle.
- 2:40:21SPEAKER_02: I don't know who that caller is, but they're dead on.
- 2:40:24SPEAKER_02: There's they're seeing it for what it is.
- 2:40:25SPEAKER_02: That is the truth, and there's something way deeper than this that nobody wants to talk about.
- 2:40:29SPEAKER_02: So, yes.
- 2:40:30SPEAKER_30: Before I hit the Ajeck button on Minnesota, I lived in Ilhan's district and had the pleasure of voting against her several times in uh St.
- 2:40:41SPEAKER_30: Louis Park.
- 2:40:43SPEAKER_30: And um what I want to know is for all those years, I really I had an illegal alien quote unquote representing me in Congress.
- 2:40:55SPEAKER_30: So my question is, where do I go to get my representation back?
- 2:40:59SPEAKER_30: I kind of feel cheated.
- 2:41:02SPEAKER_44: Well, I mean, all this remains to be seen of what ends up playing out in terms of what they end up exposing, but I think that's gonna be the sentiment of a lot of a lot of individuals.
- 2:41:09SPEAKER_02: Oh uh absolutely, absolutely.
- 2:41:13SPEAKER_02: I I I mean, yes, yes, and and I tried to say this in a different thing online that like the majority of people in Congressional District 5 do not want her to represent us.
- 2:41:25SPEAKER_02: The majority.
- 2:41:26SPEAKER_02: Like by a large margin, but because of these the psychology of the you know, November versus the primary versus the caucus that nobody participates in, it it happens.
- 2:41:39SPEAKER_02: It's like take going down a water slide.
- 2:41:41SPEAKER_44: Well, and when you're not, you know, I I I talked about this earlier in the week, and you know, people adjust their lives accordingly to fit the lifestyle that they're accustomed to.
- 2:41:52SPEAKER_44: And so when they end up dealing with hardships or difficulties, say in a community, you adjust so that you can continue to, you know, uh conduct yourself in the way you want to conduct yourself.
- 2:42:04SPEAKER_44: And so it becomes very easy to be complacent when it comes to situations like this.
- 2:42:07SPEAKER_44: So you might have an individual in C D five who says, I really don't want Ilhan Omar representing me, but at the same time, they still won't bring themselves to go and vote for somebody else because they haven't really dealt with anything monumentally adverse because of Ilhan Omar.
- 2:42:22SPEAKER_44: Yes, exactly.
- 2:42:23SPEAKER_44: So there's no good arguments that they can tell themselves of, I don't really want her representing me, but I don't really know why.
- 2:42:29SPEAKER_44: So I'll go ahead and mark her down anyway.
- 2:42:31SPEAKER_02: Absolutely.
- 2:42:32SPEAKER_02: And also, like, well, then I get to be the one who's in the district with the loud person who's always on the news, fighting the good fight, anti-Trump, anti-Trump, anti-Trump.
- 2:42:42SPEAKER_02: And I get to feel good about myself.
- 2:42:44SPEAKER_02: She's gonna go be a soldier for my values, which my values are apparently screaming at Trump.
- 2:42:49SPEAKER_02: I I don't like I don't know what how people move beyond that.
- 2:42:52SPEAKER_02: I really don't know.
- 2:42:53SPEAKER_02: But yeah.
- 2:42:54SPEAKER_43: Hey John, Rob from Tonka here.
- 2:42:56SPEAKER_43: You're right.
- 2:42:56SPEAKER_43: There definitely is a secession plan or strategy, if you will, for moving people up the ranks.
- 2:43:01SPEAKER_43: But it's clearly the Obama community organizer strategy.
- 2:43:05SPEAKER_43: It goes back to that.
- 2:43:06SPEAKER_43: Let's call it what it is.
- 2:43:07SPEAKER_44: Ah, it's okay.
- 2:43:08SPEAKER_44: You know, it's been a long time since we've actually talked about that, but he's but he's right.
- 2:43:12SPEAKER_44: He's totally right.
- 2:43:13SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:43:14SPEAKER_02: And yeah, absolutely.
- 2:43:15SPEAKER_44: We're gonna let this one transition us over.
- 2:43:17SPEAKER_44: We'll we'll continue to go back to what we were discussing, but I do want to talk about Flanagan, and we'll go there via this blast that came in.
- 2:43:23SPEAKER_44: 651-964-0294.
- 2:43:26SPEAKER_62: Hi, it's Paula from Apple Valley.
- 2:43:28SPEAKER_62: Deka, it's always good to hear your voice on the show.
- 2:43:31SPEAKER_62: Talking about this pipeline of politicians in Minnesota.
- 2:43:36SPEAKER_62: Just listen to Peggy Flanagan on that video where she talks about her GPA barely getting through high school, I think it was, with a 1.8 or 1.9 GPA.
- 2:43:50SPEAKER_62: I mean, come on.
- 2:43:51SPEAKER_62: How does she make that eclipse into politics like she has?
- 2:43:57SPEAKER_62: So good work.
- 2:43:58SPEAKER_62: Have a great day.
- 2:43:59SPEAKER_62: Thank you.
- 2:44:00SPEAKER_62: Bye.
- 2:44:00SPEAKER_44: All right.
- 2:44:01SPEAKER_44: Before I go further, did you wanna cut did you wanna read it?
- 2:44:04SPEAKER_02: I know a lot about it.
- 2:44:05SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I so I've been on social media.
- 2:44:06SPEAKER_02: I've been like, I worked all day on an edit on Sunday and then it deleted because I my computer crashed.
- 2:44:11SPEAKER_02: It was all about Peggy Flanagan and why, which I'm happy to answer that.
- 2:44:15SPEAKER_44: Okay.
- 2:44:16SPEAKER_44: So let's uh let's do this.
- 2:44:17SPEAKER_44: Let's let's lay out the confusion of what took place yesterday.
- 2:44:20SPEAKER_44: I had a a post that I put up that I'll pat myself in the back on, got quite a bit of attention.
- 2:44:24SPEAKER_44: Uh it was it was good for you.
- 2:44:25SPEAKER_44: Yeah, I know.
- 2:44:26SPEAKER_44: It happens on it on occasion.
- 2:44:27SPEAKER_44: I nail I nail it.
- 2:44:28SPEAKER_44: So um nailed it.
- 2:44:30SPEAKER_44: President Donald Trump had during the press conference when they announced this new fraud tip line and the money being available.
- 2:44:36SPEAKER_44: Uh, Peggy Flanagan did come up in the conversation, and he had this to say they should elect a very talented Republican who happens to be running, but the lieutenant governor knew everything, and she's a liar.
- 2:44:50SPEAKER_44: So Peggy Flanagan had gone and re-posted that and talked about, you know, the most corrupt president.
- 2:44:57SPEAKER_44: Yeah, she posted that clip and she commented and said, Oh, so the most uh, you know, corrupt president in in our nation's history called me a liar, whatever.
- 2:45:07SPEAKER_44: That was essentially the the the gist of her post.
- 2:45:10SPEAKER_44: So I reposted that and I attached the story from the Wall Street Journal about Flanagan inflating her college record to claim honors and champion DEI.
- 2:45:20SPEAKER_44: And I made the comment and I said, Wow, has there ever been a post that aged poorly this quickly in the history of X before?
- 2:45:28SPEAKER_44: But then it gets even stranger.
- 2:45:30SPEAKER_44: It gets even stranger.
- 2:45:32SPEAKER_44: So I grabbed the piece from Ed Morrissey from Hot Air.
- 2:45:35SPEAKER_44: I like Ed quite a bit.
- 2:45:36SPEAKER_44: I had a chance to hang with him a couple of years back in Georgia at an event that I went to.
- 2:45:40SPEAKER_44: But he wrote, uh, here's the summary.
- 2:45:42SPEAKER_44: So Peggy Flanagan, Minnesota's lieutenant governor and Democrat, U.S.
- 2:45:45SPEAKER_44: Senate nominee, has been accused of inflating her college record.
- 2:45:48SPEAKER_44: The Wall Street Journal reported that Flanagan claimed to have graduated five beta kappa, but a commencement program does not list her as an honors student.
- 2:45:57SPEAKER_44: Flanagan's campaign blames the discrepancy on poverty, but the lack but the lack of honors designation in the program contradicts this claim.
- 2:46:08SPEAKER_44: And then so you had the Wall Street Journal came out and made this claim.
- 2:46:14SPEAKER_44: You had the Star Tribune backing up the Wall Street Journal on this claim.
- 2:46:17SPEAKER_44: You then had Peggy Flanagan's campaign coming out and saying it was a discrepancy, basically adding legitimacy to the Wall Street Journal reporting, only to have the university come out at the end and say, no, she actually is a member with honor of the fraternity.
- 2:46:36SPEAKER_46: The U of M went and backed it up?
- 2:46:38SPEAKER_46: Yes.
- 2:46:38SPEAKER_44: The university where she said that she graduated, Phi Beta Kappa said that yes, she is indeed a member in good standing since 2002.
- 2:46:47SPEAKER_44: Oh my gosh.
- 2:46:48SPEAKER_44: So that's why I said this has a you know uh a uh uh Aben and Costello feel to it.
- 2:46:54SPEAKER_44: Let me add one more element to this.
- 2:46:55SPEAKER_44: This is KSTP um reporting on this uh yesterday.
- 2:47:00SPEAKER_10: Did Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan inflate her academic record?
- 2:47:03SPEAKER_10: Well, the country's oldest and most prestigious honor society says she's been a member since 2002 of Emily Bowdy with Five Eyewitness News.
- 2:47:11SPEAKER_10: So why are we talking about this?
- 2:47:13SPEAKER_10: Well, the Wall Street Journal posted a story Wednesday saying Flanagan had initially said she was a member of Five Beta Kappa.
- 2:47:21SPEAKER_10: It's considered to be the country's most prestigious honor society in 2016.
- 2:47:26SPEAKER_10: But the journal said when they followed up with Flanagan's campaign recently, Stafford said she may not have actually been a member due to the cost of membership fees.
- 2:47:36SPEAKER_10: This afternoon we heard from 5 Beta Kappa.
- 2:47:38SPEAKER_10: They said Flanagan's been a member since 2002, adding oftentimes if a student can't pay their fees, the university or donors will step in to pay those fees for them.
- 2:47:48SPEAKER_10: They also said sometimes students aren't aware those fees were paid if they were paid last minute.
- 2:47:54SPEAKER_10: Now we have 5 Ada Kappa statement at kstp.com.
- 2:47:57SPEAKER_10: You can also download the KSTP.
- 2:47:59SPEAKER_10: We'll bring you updates on stories.
- 2:48:01SPEAKER_44: So let me let me add one more element to this too, because that there was an unearthed clip where she was talking about her GPA when she got out of high school that was like a D grade average, which will call into question how she even got to that level in the f in the first place.
- 2:48:18SPEAKER_44: So I again it was it was one of the most chaotic series of events that I've seen around a candidate this close to an election in a long, long time.
- 2:48:28SPEAKER_02: I'm I'm just so sick of the news media carrying water for some of these candidates.
- 2:48:33SPEAKER_02: I I don't know the whole backstory or process with Fi Beta Kappa, but if you have to pay to be a member, then what's the point?
- 2:48:42SPEAKER_02: What is that?
- 2:48:43SPEAKER_02: That's not really an academic thing.
- 2:48:45SPEAKER_44: That's like I'm it's a membership that you're saying.
- 2:48:48SPEAKER_02: I belong to Lifetime Fitness, uh, not the Ryan C A.
- 2:48:52SPEAKER_02: Like that's like I actually pay for the premium service.
- 2:48:54SPEAKER_44: Well, I was still a Columbia House member, but they just folded, so Well, right, I got my 10 CDs and run.
- 2:49:00SPEAKER_44: Yeah, no more of those coming in the mail.
- 2:49:01SPEAKER_02: No, I just I well, so here's the thing that nobody wants to talk about, and I sound like cheat chat GPT every time I say stuff like that, because like it's in my brain.
- 2:49:09SPEAKER_02: I want to talk about it.
- 2:49:10SPEAKER_02: Um, is is that Peggy Flanagan, like allegedly Ilhan, um her her father was a massively connected activist into old communist networks in the 60s and 70s.
- 2:49:26SPEAKER_02: Why why is nobody talking about that?
- 2:49:28SPEAKER_02: Talk about being groomed.
- 2:49:30SPEAKER_02: Like I I cannot believe her father testified in front of Congress of all these different things.
- 2:49:36SPEAKER_02: He was in and out, he knew all the he there's a there's a protest where he took over Rudy Boschwitz's office in like the 1980s.
- 2:49:44SPEAKER_02: So like she is connected to those networks, and then so it's like I again, it just feels so empty and stupid that it's like every single person that is in the DFL side has that backstory.
- 2:50:00SPEAKER_02: Like Michelle Defoya's a real person.
- 2:50:03SPEAKER_02: I grew up watching her.
- 2:50:04SPEAKER_02: I posted something about her following the gophers when they, you know, that got redacted, just like Ilhan's career is about to be, of their their final four um run, right?
- 2:50:15SPEAKER_02: I like she was a sportscaster, you saw her, it's verifiable what she did, her career, right?
- 2:50:21SPEAKER_02: Flanagan is just another, like here, you know.
- 2:50:25SPEAKER_02: I I think of uh I'm Troy McClure and here, welcome to your tripe from the Beef Council.
- 2:50:31SPEAKER_02: It's like they just just feed you whatever you want to hear.
- 2:50:34SPEAKER_44: Well, and and let's use you know recent examples.
- 2:50:36SPEAKER_44: You had this, I didn't cover it on the show because honestly, I didn't want to give it any attention.
- 2:50:40SPEAKER_44: I will now, but the Minnesota Reformer ran this comprehensive expose getting into the church that Lisa Damath goes to.
- 2:50:49SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 2:50:50SPEAKER_02: I missed that.
- 2:50:50SPEAKER_44: Yeah, it was like it was like we spent time in Lisa Damath's church and talk about how her faith in God is gonna guide her principles in this election.
- 2:50:59SPEAKER_44: And it wasn't done like in this, this is a great thing, positive light.
- 2:51:02SPEAKER_44: It was you should all be very, very concerned.
- 2:51:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, because their religion is communism.
- 2:51:06SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 2:51:07SPEAKER_02: Like that's their religion.
- 2:51:08SPEAKER_02: So, like, ooh, you know, they're gonna freak out, and they use that as again the the attack every time.
- 2:51:13SPEAKER_44: You know, the question that I have for for in for longtime Minnesotans when it comes to what you're talking about, because this is not new or unique.
- 2:51:20SPEAKER_44: I mean, when when Governor Jim Walls ended up being tapped as VP, all that information from the past finally came, you know, to light again.
- 2:51:28SPEAKER_02: It took national media to do it.
- 2:51:30SPEAKER_44: Well, and only to have a bunch of people go, yeah, we were talking about that 15 years, uh years ago, and it just all got dropped because there was no interest by the media to explore it any further and to make a big deal about it.
- 2:51:43SPEAKER_44: And so much of so many of these controversies are incredibly legitimate.
- 2:51:48SPEAKER_44: There are they are information that voters should have so they can make informed decisions.
- 2:51:53SPEAKER_44: But if the media is not going to tell people about them and are gonna willfully ignore it, then this is the leadership that you end up with without being for you know fully vetted.
- 2:52:03SPEAKER_02: Well, and that's that's actually precisely why I'm here even talking to you.
- 2:52:06SPEAKER_02: I I thought to myself, like, gosh, no one's telling the truth.
- 2:52:10SPEAKER_02: And and it's like, do you do you blame them or you do do you become them and just say the stories you know?
- 2:52:15SPEAKER_02: And that's why I just started telling everything because I was like, there's a massive gap of information here, and people just sit on it because they're like, well, you know, we're trying to sell McPaper and and just this this sells.
- 2:52:27SPEAKER_02: Someone said in my comments on I don't remember what thing is like the Star Tribune could be the size of the Sears catalog every single day if they actually reported things that go on.
- 2:52:36SPEAKER_02: And I'm like, truer words have not been spoken.
- 2:52:39SPEAKER_02: Instead, it's like six pages of thinly veiled nonsense that they that they send out.
- 2:52:45SPEAKER_02: And I mean, they're a dying paper too.
- 2:52:47SPEAKER_02: That's why they want they they want to elect people who will buy them out.
- 2:52:51SPEAKER_02: So it's like, come on.
- 2:52:52SPEAKER_44: Well, and there's glimmers of hopes out there.
- 2:52:54SPEAKER_44: There's glimmers of hope when you consider.
- 2:52:56SPEAKER_44: I mean, there's a reason why like Alpha News has been successful as it's based.
- 2:52:59SPEAKER_02: Yes, because they're telling the truth.
- 2:53:00SPEAKER_44: Yeah, because they're actually going and reporting on everything that the other you know outlets won't do.
- 2:53:04SPEAKER_44: All right, let's get back to some more of your thoughts and we can um pivot back over to Ilhan Omar as well here on the show.
- 2:53:11SPEAKER_41: Omar's district is uh includes the University of Minnesota and Peter Riverside.
- 2:53:17SPEAKER_41: He took over for Philip Khan, who I thought was the most horrible, horrible representative there ever could be until umar took over.
- 2:53:28SPEAKER_41: But it came to Fitztiku.
- 2:53:30SPEAKER_41: It was a it was a big big deal when Omar uh took Phyllis Khan's feet.
- 2:53:36SPEAKER_41: So it wasn't uh uh it wasn't pretty.
- 2:53:40SPEAKER_44: You know, it's funny.
- 2:53:41SPEAKER_44: I have not heard Phyllis Kahn in a long, long that name, that's a name I'm not heard in a long time.
- 2:53:47SPEAKER_44: Yeah, um, I have not heard that in a long time, but I remember when I first got here, uh, I was introduced to uh the situation regarding Phyllis Khan.
- 2:53:56SPEAKER_44: So thank you to the to the friend of the show for bringing that back up because I had completely forgotten about that, about that individual.
- 2:54:02SPEAKER_44: I don't know how much I don't know how much experience you had in that whole.
- 2:54:04SPEAKER_02: No, I do, and I was I wasn't paying as t attention as much, but at the time I was like, oh, wait, what?
- 2:54:09SPEAKER_02: You took out this person?
- 2:54:10SPEAKER_02: And I honestly think that was um a signal that we're taking out this longtime Jewish I mean, I I don't have agree tons of agreement with Phyllis Khan.
- 2:54:20SPEAKER_02: It's interesting because my aunt who passed away uh uh after the city burned, she lived just off of Lake Street.
- 2:54:26SPEAKER_02: Um she used to go toe-to-toe with Phyllis Khan way back in the day, debating and whatever, and they did they disagreed.
- 2:54:33SPEAKER_02: Um, but but to to I think it was like a we're now our presence is felt, and by we I mean like the the communists we're gonna take out this this longtime Jewish elected official.
- 2:54:48SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 2:54:48SPEAKER_02: I I honestly think it was a signal, like here we are.
- 2:54:51SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 2:54:52SPEAKER_05: Hey John Mecca, you guys missed something.
- 2:54:56SPEAKER_05: These people are so arrogant and cocky that they all figure they can't be taken off, so they're coming out of the shadows.
- 2:55:05SPEAKER_05: This has been going on for a long time, but they just don't care.
- 2:55:10SPEAKER_05: Because they're going for broke.
- 2:55:12SPEAKER_05: They don't care.
- 2:55:14SPEAKER_44: That's all I've got.
- 2:55:15SPEAKER_44: That's friend of the show, Lou.
- 2:55:16SPEAKER_02: Yeah, they don't they don't they don't care because of the apparatus that I'm trying to describe.
- 2:55:20SPEAKER_02: Is that it's like it's like you only have to appease, like if I'm in a Marvel franchise to go back to this, I just have to make sure Kevin Feige likes me.
- 2:55:29SPEAKER_02: I can do whatever I do, right?
- 2:55:31SPEAKER_02: And the moment you mess that up, right?
- 2:55:33SPEAKER_02: Or like JJ McCarthy, uh uh, if we're gonna go here as he's gonna light it up for the New York Giants, is like it's like, okay, I is it is it uh the coach, or no, no, it's it's Justin Jefferson.
- 2:55:44SPEAKER_02: If I keep Justin Jefferson happy, I'll stay.
- 2:55:46SPEAKER_02: Oh, I didn't, so now you're gone.
- 2:55:48SPEAKER_02: Like that's that's why they don't care.
- 2:55:50SPEAKER_02: They don't need to look at all of their constituents, they don't need to look at all of us, they only need to look at the three or four people that are, as as I say, their handlers.
- 2:55:58SPEAKER_02: So
- 2:56:00SPEAKER_44: Let's spend a little bit of time on this before we wrap up the uh the show today.
- 2:56:04SPEAKER_44: I want to spike in.
- 2:56:06SPEAKER_44: I gotta find them.
- 2:56:06SPEAKER_44: I'm not gonna be able to find it right out of the gate, am I?
- 2:56:08SPEAKER_44: Nope, I'm not.
- 2:56:09SPEAKER_44: Uh let's go here.
- 2:56:10SPEAKER_44: So, first off, do you have you heard this data point?
- 2:56:13SPEAKER_44: I have not been able to find confirmation of this.
- 2:56:16SPEAKER_44: I saw it a couple places on X, but again, uh they weren't, it wasn't from sources that I was familiar with.
- 2:56:21SPEAKER_44: But it was it was this data point that some 40% of 911 call operators in Minneapolis are on paid family medical leave.
- 2:56:29SPEAKER_02: That tracks, I heard that.
- 2:56:30SPEAKER_02: Yep.
- 2:56:30SPEAKER_02: So it was in a city meeting.
- 2:56:32SPEAKER_44: Okay, I saw this story about the an innovative Minneapolis program tapping unarmed mental health workers to respond to some 911 calls is in limbo five years after the city launched it to better help people in crisis and reduce uh police use of force.
- 2:56:49SPEAKER_44: So the program that sends unar uh unarmed mental health professionals to some 911 calls, and it's funny because I now remember reporting on this when it was brought up.
- 2:56:58SPEAKER_44: This was a case, uh this was a post-to-George Floyd reform.
- 2:57:02SPEAKER_44: It's now in limbo after the city council rejected a new vendor to go and do the work.
- 2:57:07SPEAKER_44: Now I already remember mocking this program when it came up because it sounded like a ridiculous notion to send unarmed individuals to 911 calls.
- 2:57:16SPEAKER_44: Be that as it may, it looks like it didn't even end up happening.
- 2:57:18SPEAKER_44: So what can you tell us about this?
- 2:57:19SPEAKER_02: Oh, so I don't know how much time you have.
- 2:57:21SPEAKER_02: So I flagged this.
- 2:57:22SPEAKER_02: So just a quick, I'll do as quick as I can.
- 2:57:24SPEAKER_02: The way I flag this is I was listening to the city council meeting, and my friend council member Elizabeth Schaefer had she she wanted to pull this contract because they were just gonna reject it.
- 2:57:32SPEAKER_02: They were gonna vote up down.
- 2:57:34SPEAKER_02: And Council President Elliot Payne was like, uh, I staff recommends that we just and they always couch it when that's not necessarily true because I go back into all the meetings and some of the conversations.
- 2:57:44SPEAKER_02: You can watch them on the city YouTube channel.
- 2:57:47SPEAKER_02: They physically go offline and go behind, and I'm like, no, you're trying to keep this conversation away from the public.
- 2:57:52SPEAKER_02: But so Elizabeth Sachs asked this question, and she's like, I wanted to pull it because I wanted to discuss, like blah, blah, blah.
- 2:57:59SPEAKER_02: And almost immediately, first it was Soren Stevenson, was like eye rolling and mad, and then it was uh, you know, Robin Wandsley, and they all the usual suspects were they weren't just like they didn't want to talk about it, they were pissed she even pulled it and brought it up.
- 2:58:15SPEAKER_02: And it ended, it culminated in Ari and Chowdhury being like, I don't know why we we keep we get to make these distinctions because Councilmember Palmasano was like, we don't need to make personal attacks, right?
- 2:58:24SPEAKER_02: So, so um I'm like, okay, me thinks thou dost protest too much.
- 2:58:29SPEAKER_02: So then I went back to the committee meeting and really dug into this, and it it is very clearly uh Mayor Fry put on his staff, put out a different RFP request for proposal for this functionality, right?
- 2:58:42SPEAKER_02: And they found somebody in Arizona actually.
- 2:58:45SPEAKER_02: Well, the the the the a clearer picture could not be seen.
- 2:58:49SPEAKER_02: The the the canopy roots that was hired, it's like almost$20 million with zero competition.
- 2:58:56SPEAKER_02: And ironically, every single one of these council members is defending it, and they have there's no data on they were flagged as one of the possible uh pro problems for fraud in the audit that came out six weeks ago or whatever.
- 2:59:11SPEAKER_02: And and one of the founders of Canopy Roots started in the city.
- 2:59:16SPEAKER_02: They were a city employee in the Office of Innovation, which used to be uh run by Kate Knuth, who was a former mayoral candidate in 2021.
- 2:59:25SPEAKER_02: So it's like they they talk about like against the system, against the system.
- 2:59:29SPEAKER_02: They 100% are the system, the the DSA activists.
- 2:59:32SPEAKER_02: And so this to me, and I haven't I never got a chance to finish looking into it.
- 2:59:36SPEAKER_02: I was like, okay, how many people from Canopy Roots uh gave money to the campaigns of these DSA electeds that are now like uh defending it to such a point that they're getting red in the face that we're even talking about replacing it.
- 2:59:48SPEAKER_02: It's not and it's not the behavioral health the the the thing, the behavioral health crisis team, whatever, will still exist.
- 2:59:54SPEAKER_02: It just won't be that thing.
- 2:59:56SPEAKER_44: So it sounds like to simplify it, it sounds like another situation like the violence interrupters.
- 3:00:01SPEAKER_44: 100%.
- 3:00:02SPEAKER_44: Yes.
- 3:00:03SPEAKER_44: And they're and they're all so arrogant, like how dare you go and question what we are doing.
- 3:00:08SPEAKER_02: And you want to know the the thing that was they was would not do is that they were supposed to be housed because they don't actually go to these calls by themselves, they always need an escort.
- 3:00:18SPEAKER_02: So so they what the what that was gonna happen is that they were going to go into the fire departments and work out of the fire departments, and they didn't want to do that because it would have been accountability, right?
- 3:00:30SPEAKER_02: And then the city council wants to make this a whole new department.
- 3:00:33SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 3:00:34SPEAKER_02: So but then the idea that you go and you find a different company that actually has a history in doing this, right?
- 3:00:41SPEAKER_02: Because Canopy Roots existed to fill out this, like they they just sprung into existence in 2022, right when the need came.
- 3:00:51SPEAKER_02: It's all just it's wag the dog on steroids.
- 3:00:55SPEAKER_44: Let's wrap on this.
- 3:00:56SPEAKER_44: Um and I because I just want to get your thoughts, especially with your education background, talking with uh with Becca Thompson.
- 3:01:02SPEAKER_44: Uh American Experiment has this piece up.
- 3:01:05SPEAKER_44: Information came out um last week, but the new MCA results show us show a slight decline in Minnesota students, meaning math grade level proficiency, but you have to include the fact that they already were proficient in math and reading, right?
- 3:01:18SPEAKER_44: Sixteen schools, mostly charter schools in the Twin Cities, had no students proficient in math, despite the high per pupil spending.
- 3:01:26SPEAKER_44: The lack of proficiency in these schools suggests a failure of oversight by the charter school authorizers, MDE, the local school districts.
- 3:01:35SPEAKER_44: This was a piece by Josiah Padley, one of our um policy fellows here at American Experiment.
- 3:01:40SPEAKER_44: And the title is The New MCA results are out.
- 3:01:42SPEAKER_44: 16 Minnesota Schools had no students proficient in uh in math.
- 3:01:46SPEAKER_44: And this comes on top of the fact that we had less than half the students are proficient in reading and math, and then also 26% are uh only 26% are proficient in in science.
- 3:01:56SPEAKER_44: Um I know given your education background, I was just curious your well, your thoughts on the on the MCA results as a whole.
- 3:02:02SPEAKER_02: And I will just say this, and I have not had a chance to look into it yet because I know we're on time.
- 3:02:06SPEAKER_02: Someone gave tipped me off months ago, months ago, to look into charter schools, and like they're like, that is the level of calculated fraud that hasn't even we haven't even opened that door.
- 3:02:18SPEAKER_02: So I'll just leave it at that.
- 3:02:20SPEAKER_44: What do you make of these?
- 3:02:21SPEAKER_44: Just we got to we can go over there.
- 3:02:22SPEAKER_44: We got a little bit of time.
- 3:02:23SPEAKER_44: But what do you but but you know, we I made a joke and we're gonna do it again on the show tomorrow.
- 3:02:27SPEAKER_44: You know, what do you blame Operation Metro Surge on?
- 3:02:29SPEAKER_44: Because everybody blame I mean, I'm surprised that Ilhan Omar in that interview with Chris Hayes on MS Now didn't say, you know, I wouldn't be in this position if it wasn't for Operation Metro Surge.
- 3:02:38SPEAKER_44: Um but now you have it being used.
- 3:02:40SPEAKER_44: Well, it's in St.
- 3:02:41SPEAKER_44: Paul, but they're saying they're gonna have to, you know, they're gonna have to deal with the budget crisis because of Operation Metro Surge.
- 3:02:47SPEAKER_02: But that I actually, that is true, but it's not what it's not.
- 3:02:52SPEAKER_44: But getting over to the Minneapolis schools, they decided not to go and close those schools down.
- 3:02:55SPEAKER_44: Oh, it's a disaster.
- 3:02:56SPEAKER_44: So what's good?
- 3:02:56SPEAKER_44: So what's gonna happen now?
- 3:02:58SPEAKER_02: It's a disaster.
- 3:02:59SPEAKER_02: It's it's it's it's like you have five dollars in your pocket and you told the kids we can't go to Disney World, and then you got pushback from your children, and you're like, we're gonna go to Disney World anyway.
- 3:03:08SPEAKER_02: It's like, how?
- 3:03:09SPEAKER_02: Like, so so that's what it feels like to me.
- 3:03:12SPEAKER_02: I just am like gobsmacked that they're gonna try to kick the can one more time.
- 3:03:16SPEAKER_02: And I honestly think it's because they think they that this this election will swing their way and they'll get votes from the state.
- 3:03:24SPEAKER_02: But if uh I mean it's it's it's if I were even in the suburbs, I'm not even talking outstate.
- 3:03:30SPEAKER_02: Outstate, though, to me, it's like if I were even in the suburbs, I'd be horrified how many, uh, how much money is going into the city due to mismanagement.
- 3:03:38SPEAKER_02: And it's your money.
- 3:03:39SPEAKER_02: Like it's it's for HCMC, for schools, for all these programs, and they're needed programs.
- 3:03:44SPEAKER_02: I'm not saying they're not, but like a lot, this is again why I exist, because there are there are people who think like I'm just gonna live out here and stay out of my township, and I don't don't like don't come to this suburbs, like leave your mess in Minneapolis, and they think there's a little bit of a smugness, if I'm being honest.
- 3:04:02SPEAKER_02: And it's just kind of like, okay, but you you're still paying for it, and it's gonna keep getting worse.
- 3:04:06SPEAKER_02: And people, and as as people in Eden Prairie and Edinha and other places are realizing, Burnsville the other night, you're still gonna have shootings, you're still gonna have people doing their you know, gunfight at the OK Corral on your high school uh campus.
- 3:04:19SPEAKER_02: Uh so good luck to you then, because I'm trying to tell you this is you're gonna pay for it.
- 3:04:24SPEAKER_02: So that's that's what I think um Minneapolis Public Schools and the unions are gearing toward.
- 3:04:29SPEAKER_02: They're looking to Klobuchar, they're looking to Flanagan to win to just get the pipeline open again.
- 3:04:35SPEAKER_44: Where can people uh find your uh your amusings online, Becca Thompson?
- 3:04:39SPEAKER_02: Let's see.
- 3:04:40SPEAKER_02: I at my TikTok handle, I think it's just Becca Thompson31, and then X is just Becca underscore Thompson.
- 3:04:46SPEAKER_02: Sure.
- 3:04:46SPEAKER_02: And I think I'm the Becca Show on Instagram, but I'm not on there very much.
- 3:04:49SPEAKER_02: So thank you for having me.
- 3:04:51SPEAKER_02: Of course, of course.
- 3:04:53SPEAKER_44: Yeah, no, it's been a it's been a blast.
- 3:04:54SPEAKER_44: I got a couple of things I need to do before I wrap things up, but I will bid you adieu and thank you so much for the time this morning.
- 3:05:00SPEAKER_44: It's always fantastic uh to have you on, and we will uh do it again very, very soon.
- 3:05:05SPEAKER_44: All right, so I got a couple of items that I want to tackle here.
- 3:05:08SPEAKER_44: We're gonna go a little bit long, Devin.
- 3:05:09SPEAKER_44: I hope you're okay with that.
- 3:05:10SPEAKER_44: All right.
- 3:05:10SPEAKER_44: Uh so first off, uh, I did mention that I would rerun the uh Tad Jude ad, which really, as I said at the start of the show, we should really just take all the tourism dollars and give them to the guy who created this ad, just take away the campaign portion of it because it's one of the best tourism videos for for um for Minnesota that I've ever seen.
- 3:05:31SPEAKER_44: So I'm gonna play that for you, especially for you watching on the live stream, so you can actually see the visual.
- 3:05:36SPEAKER_44: Um, but I also had another request for the latest from the AI Overlords and uh the Ilhan Blues here on the John Justice show, presented by American Experiment.
- 3:05:52SPEAKER_47: Hi, everyone Ilhan here.
- 3:05:54SPEAKER_47: I just wanted to say thank you so much for the support.
- 3:06:01SPEAKER_47: To everyone who sent five, ten, and twenty dollars, it goes a long way as we fight Trump and his administration.
- 3:06:12SPEAKER_47: I hope I can stay on the gentle means goodbye.
- 3:07:49SPEAKER_47: And an end of her activism is close to the hand.
- 3:07:54SPEAKER_47: Did she marry her brother that remains to be seen?
- 3:08:00SPEAKER_47: But as wine runs dry, it's time to come clean.
- 3:08:05SPEAKER_47: She's got the little hand blues and bags to be packed.
- 3:08:11SPEAKER_47: She faked her citizenship, she may never come back.
- 3:08:18SPEAKER_47: Hi everyone LAN here.
- 3:08:21SPEAKER_47: I just wanted to say For everyone who spent five, ten, and twenty dollars, it goes a long way.
- 3:08:29SPEAKER_47: As we fight Trump and his administration.
- 3:08:35SPEAKER_49: I hope I can stay.
- 3:08:53SPEAKER_44: Yes, I did.
- 3:08:54SPEAKER_44: I will give myself credit where credit is uh credit is due.
- 3:08:56SPEAKER_44: The opening part of that I I uh I give to uh Ilhan Omar because that was actually taken directly from uh her uh hostage uh hostage video.
- 3:09:07SPEAKER_00: No, I mean, and I I I listen.
- 3:09:11SPEAKER_69: Suggest all you want.
- 3:09:13SPEAKER_69: Please investigate all you want, right?
- 3:09:15SPEAKER_69: Like to me, I'm not I'm not started.
- 3:09:18SPEAKER_69: I'm above the law.
- 3:09:19SPEAKER_69: Thank you so much again.
- 3:09:20SPEAKER_69: Uh, and please continue to support us.
- 3:09:23SPEAKER_69: It is going to be um a very expensive and challenging uh time.
- 3:09:28SPEAKER_69: Uh and so we appreciate whether you're able to send five, ten, twenty.
- 3:09:32SPEAKER_69: Thank you.
- 3:09:33SPEAKER_44: All right, thank you for checking out the show today for Becca Thompson and hanging out tomorrow.
- 3:09:38SPEAKER_44: Another Freedom Friday.
- 3:09:39SPEAKER_44: Amanda uh Lamar from TP USA makes her return to one of the comfy chairs.
- 3:09:43SPEAKER_44: Also, Catherine Johnson will be in studio, aka Kamara, Max Reimer.
- 3:09:47SPEAKER_44: I'm assuming I haven't heard any different from them.
- 3:09:49SPEAKER_44: Uh Isaac will be producing the show.
- 3:09:50SPEAKER_44: We'll give Devin the day off, but you did a fantastic job today.
- 3:09:53SPEAKER_44: It was good to see you, sir.

- 3:10:14SPEAKER_44: We'll go out on this.
- 3:10:15SPEAKER_44: Uh, as I mentioned, this video made the rounds.
- 3:10:18SPEAKER_44: Everybody was raving about how great it was.
- 3:10:20SPEAKER_44: And uh they're right.
- 3:10:21SPEAKER_44: I watched it.
- 3:10:22SPEAKER_44: Uh hat tip to whomever in uh Tad Jude's campaign uh directed and came up with a concept for this video.
- 3:10:30SPEAKER_44: As I mentioned, take away the political aspect of it at the end and just run this as a tourism video for uh for Minnesota.
- 3:10:37SPEAKER_44: Just a fantastic job.
- 3:10:38SPEAKER_44: So we'll end on that.
- 3:10:40SPEAKER_44: God bless.
- 3:10:40SPEAKER_44: I'll talk to you guys tomorrow morning.
- 3:10:42SPEAKER_44: Have a great Thursday.
- 3:10:43SPEAKER_44: Bye.
- 3:10:47SPEAKER_04: Minnesota.
- 3:10:50SPEAKER_04: We're still here.
- 3:10:54SPEAKER_04: We never left.
- 3:10:56SPEAKER_04: We're still in the diners that open at five in the morning, still in the churches that have stood since past generations built them, still on the docks, still in the fields, still in our favorite biking and walking pasts, still in the factories, still in our police precincts, still in the courtrooms, still on the ice, still in the iron in the ground that built this country.
- 3:11:28SPEAKER_04: We know what you are, Minnesota.
- 3:11:32SPEAKER_04: We know the way the light comes across a frozen lake in January, or the way the sunlight glistens a certain golden light through the leaves of autumn.
- 3:11:41SPEAKER_04: We know what it sounds like when the ice shifts in the night.
- 3:11:45SPEAKER_04: We know the smell of a pine forest after the first snow.
- 3:11:50SPEAKER_04: We know you.
- 3:11:52SPEAKER_04: This is what we're still here for.
- 3:11:55SPEAKER_04: But something changed, and most of us felt it, not as Republicans or Democrats, but as Minnesotans.
- 3:12:05SPEAKER_04: Like something that belonged to us was decided for us.
- 3:12:10SPEAKER_04: Like we came home one day and the house had been rearranged while we were gone.
- 3:12:17SPEAKER_04: These lakes are still ours, these schools are still ours, these streets, the ones our children walk home on, the one our parents drove before us, still ours.
- 3:12:33SPEAKER_04: But when the people trusted to protect all of this, to keep the records honest, to keep the process clean, to keep the decision in our hands.
- 3:12:44SPEAKER_04: When they stopped answering to us, you felt it, Minnesota.
- 3:12:50SPEAKER_04: We all do.
- 3:12:58SPEAKER_04: Home to people who have never once confused endurance with surrender, who have weathered every winter this place has thrown at them and come back to the ice of following years.
- 3:13:08SPEAKER_04: Despite how much we've been taken advantage of without even a say.
- 3:13:15SPEAKER_04: My name is Tad Jude, and I'm running for Minnesota Secretary of State because this office belongs to you.
- 3:13:22SPEAKER_04: The state belongs to you.
- 3:13:26SPEAKER_04: We never left.
- 3:13:28SPEAKER_04: It's time to come home, Minnesota.
- 3:13:58SPEAKER_56: He speaks through the static waves that dawn.
- 3:14:02SPEAKER_56: A voice that lingers when it is gone.
